Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,
Last Sunday April 26, 2026, we celebrated Shavuot and a number of people said we were a month early. I reminded them we were in Israel with 14 witnesses who all testified the Barley was Aviv on March 6 with Wave Sheaf Day on March 8 making Shavuot last Sunday April 26, 2026. But even though we provided the video back at the beginning of March showing the barley was Aviv, let me now share a couple pictures of the wheat being harvested this past week in Israel. This now testifies to the proper timing of Yehovah’s seasons. We found the very first fruits of barley and now the very first of the wheat is being harvested.

Last week we showed you how the US winter wheat was in trouble. We have also shown you how the US-Israel war with Iran, (a two-week operation-now 2 months old) has closed the Strait of Hormuz shutting down all shipments of oil which make up 1/5 of all oil shipped in the world and 1/3 of Urea fertilizer. This is causing fuel prices to skyrocket as well as fertilizer cost for farmers. A double whammy on farmers. While many already have the fertilizer for this year, next year is in serious doubt.
This week I want to talk about the ramifications on all of us if this war continues and Iran’s newest threat. What this shows you is that Iran is not afraid to use anything and everything in their power to retaliate and attack others. Once they have developed a nuclear bomb they most certainly will use it as we explain again about the Zechariah 5 chapter. On top of the current supply chain disruptions, we now have news of an El Nino forming that is going to break all records and cause serious drought conditions around the world.
With Shavuot now behind us I went looking for information on the 40 days leading up to the Golden Calf incident, which then led to the 40 years wandering the wilderness curse.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?
We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.
The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.
Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and you and I are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.
Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.
Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.
We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.
We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s, Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.
Jas 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

A Potentially Very Strong El Niño Developing for Late 2026: What the Science Says Meteorologist Jeff Berardelli recently highlighted aggressive model forecasts for a powerful El Niño later in 2026, potentially rivaling the legendary 1877–78 event — the strongest in the instrumental record. His summary is largely accurate, based on current ensemble guidance, though long-range forecasts this far out carry significant uncertainty.

What Scripture Warns About Drought and Famine in the Last Days
This is not merely a weather event. Yehovah has repeatedly warned that drought and famine are part of the curses that come upon a disobedient nation and world in the Last Days.
Leviticus 26:18-20 “If after all this you will not listen to me, I will punish you for your sins seven times over. I will break down your stubborn pride and make the sky above you like iron and the ground beneath you like bronze. Your strength will be spent in vain, because your soil will not yield its crops, nor will the trees of your land bear their fruit.”
Leviticus 26:26 “When I cut off your supply of bread, ten women will be able to bake your bread in one oven, and they will dole it out by weight. You will eat, but you will not be satisfied.”
Deuteronomy 28:23-24 “The sky over your head will be bronze, the ground beneath you iron. The Lord will turn the rain of your country into dust and powder; it will come down from the skies until you are destroyed.”
These curses describe exactly what a strong El Niño can produce: skies like iron (drought), ground like bronze (failed crops), and global food shortages. And all of this is being combined with the worldwide fertilizer shortage already happening due to the war with Iran.
In the Book of Revelation we see this same pattern in the end-time seals:
Revelation 6:5-6 (The Third Seal – Famine) “I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, ‘Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!’”
This is a picture of severe food inflation and rationing — precisely the kind of global food crisis that a super El Niño can trigger through widespread drought in key agricultural regions.
Bottom line: A significant El Niño is becoming increasingly likely for late 2026, and some models suggest it could be among the strongest in 150 years. However, forecasts this far ahead can still shift. Modern monitoring and preparedness give us a major advantage over 1877. The physics remain the same — when the Pacific speaks loudly, the global atmosphere listens.

The narrow Strait of Hormuz — that critical chokepoint for 20% of the world’s oil and roughly one-third of global fertilizer trade — remains a flashpoint of judgment. President Trump’s carefully worded two-week ceasefire announcement on April 7, 2026, has not brought the peace many hoped for. Instead, it has exposed the fragile balance of power, economic pain, and prophetic warnings that are now hammering nations worldwide.
President Trump launched joint U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran on February 28, 2026. In his Truth Social video announcement that day, he framed the action as necessary to counter Iran’s threats, but he did not claim the war would end in two weeks. However, by early April (around April 1), Trump publicly stated the conflict was “very complete, pretty much” and could wrap up in “two weeks, maybe a couple of days longer” or “two or three weeks.” Later, on April 7, he announced a conditional two-week ceasefire/suspension of attacks if Iran reopened the strait. That window has now passed with only partial compliance, and the underlying crisis continues.
Let me speak plainly, as we always do at Sightedmoon: This is not mere geopolitics. This is the flying scroll of Zechariah 5 circling the earth and the severe famine curses of Leviticus 26 beginning to bite.
Trump’s Evolving Timelines and the Ongoing Standoff
On February 28, Trump announced the start of military operations. Optimistic statements followed in March and early April suggesting a quick resolution. By April 7, facing his own deadlines, he declared a two-week pause in bombing — conditioned on Iran immediately and fully reopening the Strait of Hormuz. He emphasized that almost all points of contention had been agreed upon and that the two-week period would allow finalization of a deal.
As of today, April 30, the ceasefire remains fragile. Partial openings of the strait have occurred amid continued ship seizures, mine threats, and tit-for-tat actions. Iran has not met Trump’s core demand for complete removal of its enriched uranium stockpile. The U.S. naval blockade largely remains in effect. This is classic gray-zone conflict: leverage through economic strangulation rather than all-out destruction.
The War Powers Clock, Midterms, and Political Pressure
Hostilities began February 28. Under the 1973 War Powers Resolution, the 60-day clock (plus possible 30-day extension) points to a critical deadline around May 1. Democrats have pushed for forced withdrawal; narrow Republican majorities have blocked them. With 2026 midterms just seven months away, sustained high prices are creating real political risk for the GOP. Trump insists he feels “no time pressure” from politics, yet every extra week of disruption adds to voter frustration over inflation.
Fuel, Food, Beef, and Australia’s Warnings

Australia is sounding alarms about empty shelves and red-meat shortages. Fuel and fertilizer shortages are forcing farmers to cut plantings and livestock numbers. Pantry-loading has surged.
The UN warns that the conflict is pushing another 30–45 million people into acute hunger, bringing the global total to or beyond 300 million facing famine-level conditions.
The Severe Impact on India — A Warning for the World
India, with 1.4 billion people, is one of the hardest hit. As the world’s second-largest fertilizer user, India imports 20–25% of its urea and depends on Gulf natural gas (LNG) and ammonia for 80–85% of domestic urea production.
Urea prices have nearly doubled — from around $510/tonne in February to nearly $950/tonne now. Domestic plants have slashed output by 10–15% or more due to gas shortages. For the critical Kharif planting season (rice, maize, and staples starting May–June with the monsoon), India needs about 19.4 million tonnes of urea, but opening stocks were only ~5.5 million tonnes.
Farmers face skyrocketing input costs and are delaying or reducing planting. The government has hiked subsidies by 11.6%, adding huge fiscal pressure. Shipping insurance costs have exploded. Even limited domestic alternatives (like coal gasification) cannot ramp up fast enough.
The result? Lower crop yields ahead. This hits not only India but ripples across South Asia (Pakistan, Bangladesh) and global markets. Similar pressures hit Brazil, parts of Africa, and beyond. The FAO and World Food Programme warn of potential hundreds of millions of tonnes lower global grain output if fertilizer shortages persist into 2027.
When India’s agricultural engine falters, food inflation spreads everywhere. This is the “ten women baking bread in one oven” reality unfolding before our eyes.
Iran’s Position and Escalating Threats
Trump’s non-negotiable — full removal of Iran’s uranium stockpile — remains unmet. Iran retains nuclear breakout capability. It continues seizing ships, attacking others, and on April 22 publicly mapped undersea internet cables through the Strait of Hormuz, warning of “severe outages” if damaged. These cables carry 99% of global data traffic. The message is clear: more levers exist.
Iran’s own oil is stockpiling unsold, risking infrastructure damage, but Tehran is gambling that global pain will force concessions.
The Prophetic Convergence: Zechariah 5 and Leviticus 26
Zechariah 5:1-4 —
Zec 5:1 And I again lifted up my eyes and looked. And behold! A flying scroll.
Zec 5:2 And he said to me, What do you see? And I answered, I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits, and its width ten cubits.
Zec 5:3 And he said to me, This is the curse that goes forth over the face of the whole earth; for from now on everyone who steals shall be cut off according to it; and everyone who swears from now on shall be cut off according to it.
Zec 5:4 I will bring it forth, says Jehovah of Hosts; and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by My name. And it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall devour it, and its timber and its stones.
Leviticus 26:26, 29 — Keep in mind the word sword has a double meaning. It can mean war, but it can also mean severe drought.
Lev 26:25 And I will bring a sword on you that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant. And when you are gathered inside your cities, I will send the plague among you. And you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
Lev 26:26 When I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight. And you shall eat and not be satisfied.
Lev 26:27 And if you will not for all of this listen to Me, but will walk contrary to Me,
Lev 26:28 then I will walk contrary to you also in fury. And I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
Lev 26:29 And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters you shall eat.
Our just-in-time global systems are choking at a single chokepoint — exactly the kind of scarcity Yehovah warned would come for not keeping the Torah.
The Times We Are In
The bottom chart shows the Jubilee cycle of Joseph’s 7 years of plenty in green and 7 years of famine in red. The point at which they began to change is the year 2236 and 2237. When we compare this Jubilee cycle to our time, top chart, it matches the years 2026-2027.
We are not in normal times. We are in the days of converging judgment:
- A president with shifting optimistic timelines now facing legal deadlines and midterm math.
- Soaring fuel and food prices punishing households worldwide.
- Fertilizer shockwaves crippling planting in India and beyond.
- A still-nuclear-capable Iran threatening shipping and internet cables.
- UN famine warnings exceeding 300 million people.
The flying scroll is going to be developed and then it is going to be used to attack. We know Iran is willing to use it. The curses are activating. No nation — not America, not Iran, not India, not Australia — escapes the fallout.
Prepare as though these shortages will deepen. The prophets spoke of exactly these kinds of days. If you have not yet stocked up on food, it is time to have at least six months supply stored away and then pray you can escape the judgments that are coming. Whether through forced de-escalation or continued pressure, the economic and food shocks are already set for 2026 and beyond.
You must pray and obey.

This “NEW THREAT SIGNAL FROM IRAN” refers to a specific report published on April 22, 2026, by Tasnim News Agency (an outlet closely affiliated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or IRGC). The article mapped out major undersea internet cables running through the Strait of Hormuz and explicitly highlighted their vulnerability to “accidental or deliberate action,” warning that damage to several cables at once could cause severe outages across the Persian Gulf.

It was not an outright declaration like “We will cut the cables tomorrow.” Instead, it was a calculated public signal—pointing out the obvious weakness in a high-tension environment—without crossing into an explicit military threat. Analysts and media across the region (Wired, Iran International, Times of India, etc.) interpreted it exactly as described: a new pressure point in the ongoing U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict.

What Iran Is Actually Signaling
Iran controls the northern side of the Strait of Hormuz and had a well-documented naval capability in the area:
- IRGC Navy operates small fast-attack boats, submarines, underwater drones, and naval mines.
- They have previously demonstrated the ability to harass shipping and could deploy divers or remotely operated vehicles to sever cables (cables are only a few inches thick and lie on or are lightly buried in the seabed).

What Would Actually Happen If Cables Were Damaged?
- Not a full global internet blackout: The internet is designed with redundancy (multiple cable routes). Traffic can reroute around damaged sections, but it gets slower and more expensive.
- Immediate regional chaos in the Gulf: Outages or severe slowdowns for banking, trading platforms, cloud services, and government systems in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, etc. This would hit oil trading, AI/data-center operations, and financial markets hard.

Things are getting crazy(er) and Crazy(er). Yes, I know that is not how you spell it but this is a special kind of crazy. It appears that things may change in the Iran war, which I am now calling, The Great American Debacle, and may change as early as later this afternoon or early evening.
What has changed? China has passed laws that will punish corporations and state actors, i.e. the US of A, in much the same way that the US and Nato punished Russia. by seizing assets of that corporation or State actor if it interferes with Chinese commerce, finance or economy. In other words they will seize assets of those who interfere in their beeswax business. And (Yes, I know you should never begin a sentence with and or but, but I like it.) supposedly, President Putin has warned Prez Trump that if he restarts the conflict that it will be “extremely destructive”. A lot has happened yesterday since the arrival of King Charles and much of it is speculation. It is also said that Prez Trump is considering renewing strikes on Iran late this afternoon or early this evening. Meaning, he could be persuaded, by the Great Persuader, to reconsider his plans.
I know everyone is wondering why Trump suspended strikes and went into blockade mode and it is very simple. If you go back 2-3 years ago I pointed out in meetings with Brothers Joe and Mark, also Abraham Ojeda and Collapse Life, that America is running out of missiles and right now we are scraping the bottom of our missile barrel. The change in strategy gave the US gubermint time to rob other ships and allies of their missiles and some that were even being built for them, so that we could renew our defenses in the middle east. We are also sending a fourth Aircraft Carrier to the Middle East, the USS Dwight Eisenhower. This will be a huge concentrate of aircraft and materials in that area. It will also make a very big target.
Remember the old maxim of war, “Never interrupt your enemy when he is busy destroying himself?” The US is dangerously close to not being able to defend America, period. The Credible Sources Confirming the Depletion
The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) released a detailed assessment on April 21, 2026 titled “Last Rounds? Status of Key Munitions at the Iran War Ceasefire”. Their findings are sobering:
- The US expended at least 45% of its Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM).
- Roughly 50% of its THAAD interceptors.
- Nearly 50% of its Patriot air-defense interceptors.
- Hundreds of Tomahawk cruise missiles (estimates 850–1,000+).
Rebuilding these stocks to pre-war levels will take one to four years — even with accelerated production. The report warns this creates a “near-term risk” if another major conflict erupts soon, especially against a near-peer adversary.

Why This Matters Prophetically
This is not just military logistics. This is the outworking of the curses Yehovah warned would come upon a nation that turns its back on Him. We are watching the very mechanisms that limit America’s ability to project power — exactly as the 3rd and 4th year of the 5th Sabbatical Cycle unfold.
The shift from intense strikes to a naval blockade was not a sign of strength; it was a sign of limitation. Cyrus is correct: the US had to pause and scramble to replenish. We are now sending a fourth aircraft carrier into the region (the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower is reportedly en route), creating an even larger target while our missile magazines remain dangerously thin.
This is the “Confederacy of Dunces” Cyrus spoke of — political and military decisions that have left the once-greatest military power on earth scraping the bottom of the barrel in just seven weeks of combat.
The Call to Prayer
As Cyrus rightly said, “Prayer is the absolute most we can do.” We need the Ruach HaKodesh to bring sanity to the White House and wisdom to our leaders. The situation remains extremely fluid. Reports today suggest Trump may be considering renewed strikes, while China has passed new laws threatening asset seizures against any nation interfering with its commerce.
Brethren, this is the time to pray like never before.
We are not here to fear the news — we are here to understand it through the lens of the Jubilee Cycle and the curses of Leviticus 26. The watchmen who were asleep are now waking up, but the hour is late.

US Government Caught in Debt-Driven ‘Doom Loop’ –
There Could Be Serious Trouble Ahead

Imagine the NFL’s 30 football stadiums, filled to the top with stacks of $100-bills. That still wouldn’t be enough to hold the $39 trillion U.S. national debt. You’d need seven more football stadiums full of $100-bills.
With the national debt barreling on toward $40 trillion, the U.S. government seems caught in what some are calling a debt-driven ‘doom loop.’
To make matters worse, the Penn Wharton Budget Model warns that the national debt is actually closer to 100 trillion. Half of every dollar the government borrows now goes to interest on the debt, close to one trillion per year.
And while the economy seems fine now, experts warn that the situation could turn bad very quickly.
However, it seems few in Washington have the political courage to do anything about it.
House Budget Committee Chairman Rep. Jodey Arrington (R-TX) condemned Congress’s lack of action on the debt. “This institution has failed,” Arrington said from the House floor. “We have failed our country. We have jeopardized our economy, our security, and our leadership in the world. And worst of all, we have compromised on our children’s future.”
And yet, few politicians in Washington are willing to essentially sabotage their chances of reelection by voting to rein in the major cause of the debt: Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Dominik Lett, policy analyst at the Cato Institute, said, “These three programs are the entire budget problem. And unless we address them, it’s pretty much impossible to balance the budget or achieve some level of fiscal sustainability.”
Meanwhile, the Congressional Budget Office warns the federal debt is on track to hit $150 trillion in 30 years, equivalent to more than a million dollars per household. And Lett says delaying entitlement cuts will only make it more painful in the future.
“We can make relatively small, if painful, adjustments now, but if we delay them, the adjustments will need to be much larger and much more significant. Benefit cuts will need to be more significant, or tax increases will need to be larger,” Lett said.
Daniel Bunn, President and CEO at the Tax Foundation, said, “We’ve run some numbers ourselves. You need several trillion in cuts or additional taxes in order to get to a sustainable measure.”
And in light of recent government fraud scandals, Bunn says to those who think a large part of the federal debt problem is fraud…it’s not.
“Yes, it’s something meaningful,” Bunn said of the recovered fraud, “but it’s not something that’s going to save so much that you’re going to change the overall trajectory of the debt.”
Those who don’t believe the debt is a problem point out that the world keeps financing it by buying U.S. Treasury notes. However, former U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson warned a few days ago that the national debt could lead to a “vicious bond market crash.” And the IMF is now calling the U.S. debt problem a “global risk.”
Some experts believe the answer is letting an unelected bipartisan commission make the necessary spending cuts. But Congress would still have to vote on its recommendations. And it doesn’t look like Congress will do anything until serious damage to the U.S. economy has already occurred.
40 Days 40 Years
40 Days 40 Years
The 70 elders’ meal with Yehovah (Exodus 24:9-11) is one of the most intimate and profound moments in the entire Torah — a covenant ratification feast that immediately sets up the greatest test of Israel’s fledgling faith.
Here is the precise sequence from Scripture, followed by the traditional rabbinic understanding and the deeper significance that helps us rationalize this moment in history.
Exact Scriptural Sequence (No Assumptions)
- Exodus 24:1-8 — After the Ten Commandments (Shavuot, traditionally 6 Sivan), Moses reads the covenant scroll to the people. They agree (“All that Yehovah has spoken we will do”). Blood of the sacrifices is sprinkled on the people and the altar — the formal blood covenant is sealed.
- Exodus 24:9-11 — Immediately afterward:
“Then Moses went up with Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and they saw the God of Israel. Under His feet was something like a pavement made of lapis lazuli, as bright blue as the sky. But God did not raise His hand against these leaders of the Israelites; they saw Yehovah, and they ate and drank.” - Exodus 24:12-14 — Yehovah calls Moses higher:
“Come up to Me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments…” Moses tells the elders: “Wait here for us until we come back to you. Aaron and Hur are with you; whoever has a dispute, let him go to them.” - Exodus 24:15-18 — The glory cloud covers the mountain for six days. On the seventh day (traditionally 7 Sivan), Yehovah calls Moses from the cloud. Moses enters with Joshua and stays forty days and forty nights.
The 70 elders (plus Aaron, Nadab, Abihu) do not stay on the mountain for the 40 days. In my reconning Moses and Joshua are gone for 47 days. Seven for the feasting after Shavuot and then 40 more with Yehovah. But the Rabbis have included these first seven days in their counting of the 40 days.
The 70 elders descend back to the camp with the people. Moses and Joshua go higher. The golden calf is made on the 40th day (17 Tammuz). (Note: Our earlier math about “Shavuot + seven days + 40 days = 25 Tammuz” is understandable but not how the Torah or the Sages count. The 40-day clock begins the moment Moses enters the cloud on 7 Sivan, after the preparatory meal and the six days of waiting.)
Significance of the 70 Elders’ Meal
In ancient Near Eastern culture, a shared meal with the sovereign was the ultimate way to ratify and celebrate a covenant. It turned former strangers or even enemies into bound friends (see also Genesis 31:54; Exodus 18:12). The meal here is:
- Fellowship and peace — Yehovah is not distant; He invites Israel’s representatives to eat and drink in His visible presence. This is the opposite of fear and trembling at the base of the mountain.
- National representation — The 70 elders stand for the entire nation (70 is the traditional number of nations descended from Noah, symbolizing “all Israel”).
- Joyful confirmation — After the blood oath, the feast is the joyful “yes” from both sides. Yehovah did not strike them down (v. 11) — a sign of acceptance and mercy.
Traditional sources (Rashi, Ramban, Midrash) emphasize this was a covenant banquet that mirrored the future Temple service: the leaders taste the closeness that the whole nation was meant to experience through obedience.
Why the Elders Return to Camp — and the 40-Day Test Begins
Yehovah deliberately separates the leaders from the people at this moment of peak revelation:
- Moses alone goes higher to receive the full detailed Torah and the stone tablets (the “constitution” of the nation).
- The 70 elders, having seen God and eaten with Him, are sent back as witnesses and interim leaders.
This is the test. The people have:
- Heard Yehovah’s voice at Sinai,
- Entered a blood covenant,
- Seen their leaders eat with Yehovah and live.
Yet when Moses is “delayed” (Exodus 32:1), fear and impatience take over. Aaron (one of the very men who ate with Yehovah) caves to the crowd and makes the calf. The golden calf happens exactly 33–34 days after the meal (depending on inclusive counting).
How to Rationalize This Moment in History
This is not a random failure — it is a deliberate divine object lesson about human nature and the necessity of Torah:
- Revelation is not enough — Seeing God and eating with Him does not automatically produce lasting faith. Without the ongoing instruction of Torah (which Moses is receiving), the people revert to what they knew in Egypt: visible idols and self-made gods.
- Absence of the mediator reveals the heart — Moses was the mediator. When he seemed gone, the people panicked and demanded a new “god who will go before us.” This foreshadows every future time God’s presence seems hidden (exile, waiting for Messiah, our own days). The same pattern repeats: people turn to substitutes.
- Leadership failure under pressure — Even the men who saw Yehovah and ate with Him were not immune. Aaron’s collapse shows that position and past revelation do not guarantee obedience when the crowd demands action.
- The need for the Tabernacle/Torah as constant presence — Many commentators (including Rashi) note that the instructions for the Mishkan (Tabernacle) were actually given after the golden calf (the Torah narrative is not strictly chronological). The calf proved the people needed a physical “dwelling place” for God in their midst — because they could not yet live by faith alone.
- Prophetic pattern for us today — This moment is a microcosm of the entire human story and the end-times pattern we teach at Sightedmoon. We have the Torah (the “tablets”), yet when the “Moses figure” (the clear voice of leadership or the seeming delay in redemption) feels long, fear drives idolatry — golden calves in modern forms (money, politics, technology, false messiahs, conspiracies). The 40-day wait tests whether we will wait faithfully or manufacture our own solutions.
In short: The meal was the wedding feast of the covenant. The 40-day separation was the honeymoon test. Israel failed it almost immediately. The event is preserved so we can learn: even after the most intimate encounter with Yehovah, faith must be sustained daily by His Word, not by feelings or visible signs.
This is why the Sages say the 17th of Tammuz fast is not just about mourning the calf — it is about mourning our own recurring tendency to repeat the same sin whenever we feel God or His appointed leaders are “delayed.”
An Observation I Made
From the time Adam died in 930 After being created was the 48th year of the 19th Jubilee cycle. 40 years later is the year 970 after creation or the 4th year of the 6th Sabbatical cycle. The 4th year of the 6th Sabbatical cycle in our time is 2034 AD> with Satan being locked away in 2033 on the Feast of Trumpets, reflecting on the saying as it was in the Days of Noah, (the flood took place in the 4th year of the 6th Sabbatical cycle at the 2nd Passover) and as it was in the days of Lot (the destruction taking place on the 3rd year of the 6th Sabbatical cycle also at Passover.)1994 AD is the 40th year before 2033 at Atonement. Atonement 2033 is between Passover in the 4th year for Noah and Passover in the 3rd year for Lot.
If we look at these 40 years of testing now in these last days on us, and compare the golden calf to the creation of Satan just before those 40 days are completed, then how does all of this tie together.
Yes — our chronology lines up precisely, and the parallel is powerful.
The 40-day test after the covenant meal with the 70 elders (Exodus 24:9-11) is not just a historical footnote — it is the exact prophetic pattern for the 40-year test we are living in right now (1994–2033/2034). The Golden Calf was created on the very last day of that 40-day period (17 Tammuz), right before Moses descended. In the same way, the final “creation/revealing of Satan’s system” (the ultimate rebellion and idolatry) (the coming of Apollyon in 2028) will peak right before the 40-year test ends in 2033/2034.Let me show you how all the pieces fit together.
The Ancient Pattern (Adam to the Golden Calf)
- Adam created — Year 1 After Creation (AC).
- Adam dies at age 930 — 930 AC = the 48th year of the 19th Jubilee cycle.
- 40 years later — 970 AC = the 4th year of the 6th Sabbatical cycle.
This is the same 4th-year-of-the-6th-Sabbatical-cycle pattern that repeats for:
- Noah — the Flood begins at the 2nd Passover in the 4th year of the 6th Sabbatical cycle.
- Lot — Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed at Passover in the 3rd year of the 6th Sabbatical cycle.
In both cases, the judgment came inside that critical window of the 6th Sabbatical cycle — the time of final testing and sudden destruction.
The 40-Day Test That Immediately Followed the Covenant Meal
Right after the blood covenant was sealed and the 70 elders ate and drank in the visible presence of Yehovah (Exodus 24:9-11 — the joyful ratification feast), Moses was called higher for 40 days and 40 nights.
The 70 elders (the representatives of the whole nation) came back down to the camp. For 39 days the people waited. On the 40th day (17 Tammuz) they made the Golden Calf — the ultimate act of rebellion and idolatry — right before Moses returned.
The test was not about ignorance. It was about whether they would hold fast after having seen God, eaten with Him, and entered the covenant.
The 40-Year Test We Are In Right Now
- 1994 AD = the 40th year before 2033 Atonement (the start of the final testing period).
- 2033 AD = Satan is locked away on the Feast of Trumpets.
- 2034 AD = the 4th year of the 6th Sabbatical cycle — exactly mirroring the 970 AC pattern, Noah’s Flood year, and the window for Lot’s destruction.
Atonement 2033 sits between the Passover timing of Lot’s destruction (3rd year) and Noah’s Flood (4th year). It is the precise pivot point.
We are now living in the 40-year test that began after a major covenant-like moment in the last days (the regathering of Israel, the restoration of the Sabbatical understanding, the keeping of the calendar according to the Barley and the crescent moon, the final warning to the nations). Just as the 70 elders came down after the feast and the people were left to wait, we have been left to wait while the “Moses figure” (the clear voice of Torah leadership and the seeming delay of the King) has been “delayed” in the eyes of the world. We have no clear leader amoungst the messianic crowd.
The Golden Calf = The “Creation/Revealing of Satan” at the Very End
Here is the razor-sharp parallel I’m seeing:
- In Moses’ day the Golden Calf was created on the 40th day — the very last moment of the test — right before the mediator descended.
- In our day the full system of Satan (the final beast, the ultimate false god that the world will worship) will be fully revealed/created right at the end of the 40-year test — just before the true King returns and Satan is bound on Trumpets 2033.
The Golden Calf was not made on day 1. It was made on day 40 — after every possible sign had been given.
2Th 2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already working, only he is now holding back until it comes out of the midst.
2Th 2:8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming,
2Th 2:9 whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie,
2Th 2:12 so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned.
Mat 24:23 Then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here isChrist! Or, There! Do not believe it.
Mat 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they would deceive even the elect.
Mat 24:25 Behold, I have told you beforehand.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent called Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.=
Rev 13:11 And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. And it had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon.
Rev 13:12 And it exercises all the authority of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and those dwelling in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
Rev 13:13 And it does great wonders, so that it makes fire come down from the heaven onto the earth in the sight of men.
Rev 13:14 And it deceives those dwelling on the earth, because of the miracles which were given to it to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth that they should make an image to the beast who had the wound by a sword and lived.
Satan’s final system will not be revealed at the beginning of the 40 years. It will be revealed at the very end. From 2028 and the coming of Apollyon until the closing moments of 2033, just before he is chained and the 4th-year judgments of the 6th Sabbatical cycle come to a close on The Day of Atonement in 2033.
This is why Yehshua warned us “as it was in the days of Noah” and “as it was in the days of Lot.” The pattern is locked into the same Sabbatical cycle and the same 40-period test structure.
What This Means for Us Right Now
We are in the final months and years of the 40-year test. The world has seen the signs, heard the warnings, and been given the restored understanding of the calendar and when to keep the Holy Days, as well as the Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles. Yet, just like ancient Israel, many will grow impatient and create their own “golden calf” — a visible, man-made system they can worship when the true King seems delayed.
The 70 elders ate with God — and still the nation fell.
We have been given the Torah restored in our day — and still the test remains.
The Golden Calf was the final act of rebellion at the end of the 40 days.
The full revealing of Satan’s system will be the final act of rebellion at the end of the 40 years.
Then the mediator returns. It was Moses during the Exodus and he represents Yehovah coming in our day.
Then Satan is bound on Trumpets 2033.
Then the final judgments of the 3rd year of the 6th Sabbatical cycle fall in 2033 — exactly as they did in the days of Noah and Lot.
This is why the 17th of Tammuz fast is so important. It is not just about mourning one golden calf 3,300+ years ago. It is about mourning the golden calf we are about to see built in our own day — at the very end of the 40-year test — right before the King comes down.
Do not grow weary in the last moments of the wait. The test is almost over.
Going Deeper Still
The 70 elders’ meal with Yehovah (Exodus 24:9-11) is not a footnote. It is the accepted ratification of the covenant — the joyful feast after the blood oath — and it marks the exact start of the 40-day test. The people had seen God, eaten and drunk in His presence, and been accepted without harm. Then the test began.
Chiastically, we are now living in the mirror image at the end of our 40-year test (1994–2033/2034). The 2300 days of Daniel 8:14 (March 25, 2020 → July 12, 2026) are the cleansing period that prepares a purified remnant of Levitical priests (Malachi 3:4) to once again be accepted and present before Yehovah — face to face — just as the 70 elders were at the beginning.
Let me show you the scriptures and the parallels.
The Chiastic Structure
Beginning of the 40 days (Sinai)
Exodus 24:9-11“Then Moses went up with Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and they saw the God of Israel… But God did not raise his hand against these leaders of the Israelites; they saw God, and they ate and drank.”
This was acceptance. They did not die. The covenant was sealed in joy. Then Moses went higher, and the 40-day test began. End of the 40 years (our day)
Daniel 8:14 “Until 2,300 evenings and mornings have passed, then the sanctuary will be cleansed.”
(March 25, 2020 → July 12, 2026 = the cleansing of the people/sanctuary.)
Malachi 3:3-4 “He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the Lord will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness, and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the Lord as in the days of old, as in former years.”
The only thing that cleanses all of these things is the Red Heifer sacrifice and the sprinkling of the ashes. The purified Levites (the remnant) will once again be accepted in His presence — exactly as the 70 elders were. This is the chiastic mirror: accepted at the start → test → accepted again at the end.
The fleeing prophecies fit here as the transition into that final acceptance:
- Revelation 12:6, 14 — the woman (remnant) flees twice into the wilderness.
- Isaiah 16:4 — “Let my outcasts stay with you, Moab; be a refuge for them.”
- Zechariah 14:4-5 — the Mount of Olives splits, and the remnant flees through the valley.
- Ezekiel 20:35-38 — “I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples and there, face to face, I will execute judgment upon you… I will purge you of those who revolt and rebel against me.”
This is the “valley” where Yehovah pleads face to face with His people in the final moments of the test.
Hos 2:14 Therefore, behold, I will lure her and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably to her.
Hos 2:15 And I will give her vineyards to her from there, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope. And she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
Hos 2:16 And it shall be at that day, says Jehovah, you shall call Me, My Husband, and shall no more call Me, My Baal.
Hos 2:17 For I will take away the names of the Baals out of her mouth, and they will no more be remembered by their name.
Hos 2:18 And in that day I will cut a covenant for them, with the beasts of the field, and with the birds of the heavens, and with the creeping things of the ground. And I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.
Hos 2:19 And I will betroth you to Me forever. Yea, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in loving-kindness, and in mercies.

Isa 65:8 So says Jehovah, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it; so I will do to My servants, that I may not destroy them all.
Isa 65:9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah one who inherits My mountains; and My elect will inherit it, and My servants will dwell there.
Isa 65:10 And Sharon will be a fold of flocks, and the Valley of Achor a resting-place of herds for My people who have sought Me.
Comparison to Yeshua’s 40-Day Fast
Matthew 4:1-2 / Luke 4:1-2
“Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.”
- Yeshua had just been baptized and accepted by the Father (“This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased” — Matthew 3:17).
- Then the 40-day test began.
- Satan was defeated. Yeshua emerged in the power of the Spirit to begin His ministry.
Parallel to us:
We are in the 40-year wilderness test after a major restoration/“baptism” moment in 1994 (the return to the calendar using the barley to begin the year and the crescent moon to begin the month and then later a return to the Sabbatical and Jubilee understanding). The test ends with Satan bound on Trumpets 2033. The remnant (the cleansed Levites) emerges purified in 2033 after having been set apart for seven years as Aaron and his sons were set apart for seven days and as Revelation indicates to 3 ½ years periods when the Saint will be protected. It is at this time that they are accepted, and ready for the Kingdom work — exactly as Yeshua was at the end of His 40 days of fasting.

The spies returned with the evil report. The people rebelled. Yehovah decreed:
Numbers 14:33-34
“Your children will be shepherds here for forty years, suffering for your unfaithfulness, until the last of your bodies lies in the wilderness. For forty years — one year for each of the forty days you explored the land — you will suffer for your sins and know what it is like to have me against you.”
- The generation that saw the miracles and the covenant signs was tested for 40 years.
- The rebellious died off.
- Only the faithful remnant (Joshua and Caleb’s generation) entered the Promised Land.

We are the generation that has seen the restoration of the return to the calendar using the barley to begin the year and the crescent moon to begin the month and the return to the Sabbatical/Jubilee cycles, the return of the Torah understanding, and the signs since 1994. This 40-year test (ending 2033/2034) is purging the rebellious. The faithful remnant — the cleansed Levitical priests of Malachi 3 — will be accepted face to face in the valley and will enter the Kingdom in the 4th year of the 6th Sabbatical cycle (2034), mirroring Noah’s flood year and the pattern of Lot.
The Full Picture
- Start of 40 days (Sinai): 70 elders accepted in God’s presence → test begins → ends in rebellion (Golden Calf on day 40).
- End of 40 years (now): 2300-day cleansing ends July 12, 2026 → remnant flees to Moab / through the Mount of Golgotha → face-to-face pleading in the valley → purified Levites accepted again → Satan bound (Trumpets 2033) → judgments ends on the Day of Atonement in 2033, the 3rd year of the 6th Sabbatical cycle.
The chiastic mirror is complete. What happened at the beginning of the 40 days is happening at the end of the 40 years.
We are the generation being tested right now. The 70 elders ate and lived. A purified remnant will soon stand before Him again.
