Shalom Brethren,Rosh Chodesh Sameach!

At Sunset tonght will be the first day of the 4th month of the Calendar used by those who lived during the Days when the Temple stood in Jerusalem.

On each New Moon the Shofar is blown to announce this event. I suggest you go out tonight after sunset and look for the moon to make it’s appearance. As you do this you will come to understand why No Man can know the Day or the Hour when the Son of Man is to come. The Reason being is that the day of His coming is what the Feast of Trumpets or the Feast of Shouting is all about and that Feast begins when the Moon is first sighted on the first day of the Seventh Month.

So this is good practice for you to learn this simple understanding. Then once you sight the moon sound the Shofar. This too will help you to begin to understand the seven trumpets that sounded in revelations. Do you know what they mean? Do you know when they sound?

When you do these simple little things like looking for the moon and the blowing of the shofar, you will gain some understanding about those scriptures that cause many to misunderstand. Those many who do not do or keep the 4th commandment which is part of the 10 commandments. But you already know this. You already know that sin is the transgression of the law, transgression of the ten commandments, as we are told in 1 John 3:4 and that the wages of sin are death as Paul tells us, and not eternity in heaven as some would have you believe.

Fourth Biblical Month

On Tuesday June 23, 2009 the new moon was sighted from Israel. The moon was first sighted from Jerusalem at 20:14 by Nehemia Gordon and then immediately thereafter by Joelle Crawshaw, Adam Kinghorn, and Eliyahu Netanel. The moon was also sighted from Ashdod by Magdi Shamuel at 20:13.
