This was a hard read… because it is a book for grown-ups. Throughout history there has been a struggle between the church that guards the scriptures and the ones that rewrite their own version and interpretation of scriptures. Many people may not want to know the truth, but Joe Dumond tells you anyway.

Once you learn what has been lost, then you will see what is being restored. The author does a great job at not only covering this topic, but covering it in detail… there are footnotes on just about every page which not only back-up what the author presents, but give one the more-more-more follow-up resources that some people want.

I say that this book is an uncomfortable hard read, and it is… it’s long, it contains hard truths, and… well… it makes you hope the next book in the trilogy is just as long and contains just as much truth. Compared to this author’s other books, this one stands on its own like the rest do. Which to read first? Hmmm… tough question. Maybe checkout his “sightedmoon” website and ask him yourself.

You need to know the what, how and when of what has been lost in our “church” understanding of the plan of our Creator and why we need to know before He can return. Very much like the 2300 Days of Hell by the same author, this is a great scholarly effort. It gathers together many accounts of rediscoveries of Biblical truth; keeping in mind that the Reformation was only the beginning.

That the full restoration of biblical practice has not yet been completed is evident by the fact that Yeshua/Jesus has not returned despite Christianity, Mormonism, or Islam having already encircled the globe. The end will not come until the true gospel has been preached in all the world. Joseph’s book makes clear what great efforts have been made in this regard and that Jehovah has had to direct this work through our weaknesses in the absence of our unity of Spirit. It hammers home the importance for believers to stop squabbling over minor though important differences that the Bible does not consider reason not to fellowship with one another, and instead prepare for His return by working together.

Though I personally believe this restoration is not yet complete, because of a lack of understanding of gender roles, if Joseph’s calculations are correct, then Western civilisation only has 10 more months to rediscover them. It could well be that this final missing piece of the puzzle can only be restored in the 10 years when Jehovah’s main focus turns back to the Middle East where much biblical culture still remains.

But whenever these things might be and however they might unfold, this is another great resource in understanding the great work being done by the Father of lights and our need to continually fill our lamps with oil.

It Was A Riddle Not A Command

New Moon of the 8th Month

The New Moon will be impossible to see on Friday September the 15th which is the 29th day of this month. This then makes it automatically a 30-day month. So Saturday evening after the sunsets will be the 1st day of the 8th month. Even this moon will be hard to see but there are no 31 days in any Hebrew month. You can check out Torah Calendar to see it for yourself.  By all means do go out on Saturday evening and look for the new moon. Learn how to do it and where to look and what to look for.

These are what the watchmen do. This is why we need to Two Witnesses. There are so many things we learn from going out and watching for the new moon. Be you a doer and not just a hearer only.

Join Our Sabbath Meetings

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

The Marian Apparitions

Last week we shared with you some Marian apparitions and some of you wondered what is happening to Joe. Well, Joe is trying to teach you all something relevant. This week I am again doing the same thing only now in more detail. Read and learn about these apparitions and how they come about.

A Marian apparition is a reported supernatural appearance by Mary the mother of Jesus, or a series of related such appearances during a period of time.

In the Catholic Church, in order for a reported appearance to be classified as a Marian apparition, the person or persons who claim to see Mary (the “seers”) must claim that they see her visually located in their environment.[1] If the person claims to hear Mary but not see her, this is known as an interior locution, not an apparition. Also excluded from the category of apparitions are dreams, visions experienced in the imagination, the claimed perception of Mary in ordinarily-explainable natural phenomena, and miracles associated with Marian artwork, such as weeping statues.

Believers consider such apparitions to be real and objective interventions of divine power, rather than subjective experiences generated by the perceiving individuals, even in cases where the apparition is reportedly seen by only some, not all, of the people present at the event’s location.

Marian apparitions are considered expressions of Mary’s ongoing motherly care for the church. The understood purpose of each apparition is to draw attention to some aspect of the Christian message, given the needs of a particular time and place. Apparitions are often accompanied by other alleged supernatural phenomena, such as medical cures. However, such miraculous events are not considered the purpose of Marian apparitions, but are alleged to exist primarily to validate and draw attention to the message.[2]

Each Marian apparition is often associated with one or more titles given to Mary, often based on the location of the apparition, such as Our Lady of Pontmain in Pontmain, France (1871). Others are named using a title which Mary purportedly applies to herself during the alleged apparition, as in the case of the disputed apparition entitled The Lady of All Nations (Netherlands, 1945..1959).

Some Marian apparitions have only one purported seer, such as that of Our Lady of Lourdes (France, 1858). Other apparitions have multiple seers; in the case of Our Lady of Fatima (1917), there were only three seers of the apparition itself, but miraculous phenomena were reported by a crowd of approximately 70,000 people, and even by others located miles away.[3] In other cases, the entirety of a large group of people claims to see Mary, as in the case of Our Lady of La Vang (Vietnam, c. 1800). Some modern mass apparitions, claimed to have been witnessed by hundreds of thousands, have also allegedly been photographed, such as Our Lady of Zeitoun (Egypt, 1968~1971).[4]

Most alleged apparitions involve the verbal communication of messages, but others are silent, such as the apparition of Our Lady of Knock (Ireland, 1879).

Some apparitions are one-time events, such as Our Lady of La Salette (France, 1846). Others recur over an extended period of time, such as Our Lady of Laus (France, 17th/18th centuries), whose seer claimed 54 years of appearances. Public, serial apparitions (in which a seer not only says that they have experienced a vision, but that they expect it will reoccur, causing people to gather to observe) appear to be a relatively recent phenomenon; up until about the seventeenth century, most reported apparitions happened when the individual was alone, or at least no one else was aware of its occurrence.[5]

Physical contact is hardly ever reported as part of Marian apparitions. In rare cases, a physical artifact is reportedly left behind, such as the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Mexico, 1531), which is said to have been miraculously imprinted on the cloak of Juan Diego.

With the above information and what we wrote about last week, I want you all to be aware of what we are told in Revelation 13. I want you to know and understand what is about to happen, where it is going to happen and why.

Let us look at the first beast spoken of, as many confuse the heck out of this simple-to-understand section.

The First Beast

Rev 13:1  And I stood on the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns. And on its horns were ten crowns, and on its heads was the name of blasphemy.

Rev 13:2  And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and its feet like those of a bear, and its mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him its power and its seat and great authority.

Rev 13:3  And I saw one of its heads as having been slain to death, and its deadly wound was healed. And all the earth marveled after the beast.

Rev 13:4  And they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with it?

Rev 13:5  And a mouth speaking great things was given to it, and blasphemies. And authority was given to it to continue forty-two months.

Rev 13:6  And it opened its mouth in blasphemy toward God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, and those dwelling in Heaven.

Rev 13:7  And it was given to it to war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given to it over every tribe and tongue and nation.

Rev 13:8  And all dwelling on the earth will worship it, those whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain, from the foundation of the world.

Rev 13:9  If anyone has an ear, let him hear.

Rev 13:10  He who leads into captivity will go into captivity. If anyone will kill with the sword, he must be killed by a sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

The Apostle John is relating this right back to the prophecy given to us by the Prophet Daniel with his beast of 7 heads and one with a deadly wound as well as the 10 toes of the image. Let us again look at Daniel to find some answers.

Daniel Interprets the Dream

Dan 2:31  You, O king, were seeing. And, behold! A great image! That great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before you. And its form was dreadful.

Dan 2:32  This image’s head was of fine gold; his breast and his arms were of silver; his belly and his thighs were of bronze;

Dan 2:33  his legs were of iron; his feet were part of iron and part of clay.

Dan 2:34  You watched until a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image upon its feet which were of iron and clay, and broke them to pieces.

Dan 2:35  Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were broken to pieces together. And they became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors. And the wind carried them away, so that no place was found for them. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

Dan 2:36  This is the dream. And we will tell its meaning before the king.

Dan 2:37  You, O king, are a king of kings. For the God of Heaven has given you a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.

Dan 2:38  And wherever the sons of men, the beasts of the field, and the birds of the heavens live, He has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all. You are this head of gold.

Dan 2:39  And after you shall arise another kingdom lower than you, and another third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth.

Dan 2:40  And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron. Since iron crushes and smashes all things; and as the iron that shatters all these, it will crush and shatter.

Dan 2:41  And as to that which you saw: the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay and part of iron; the kingdom shall be divided. But there shall be in it the strength of the iron, because you saw the iron mixed with miry clay.

Dan 2:42  And as the toes of the feet were part of iron and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle.

Dan 2:43  And as you saw iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mix themselves with the seed of men. But they shall not cling to one another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Dan 2:44  And in the days of these kings, the God of Heaven shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed. And the kingdom shall not be left to other peoples, but it shall crush and destroy all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

Dan 2:45  Because you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it crushes the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the great God has made known to the king what shall occur after this. And the dream is certain, and its meaning is sure.

The ten toes of Daniel are related to the ten horns of John.

Daniel also dreamed about 4 beasts, of which the fourth one is the one John is speaking about. The four different metals in Daniel 2 relate to the various 4 parts of the body and are connected to the four beasts in Daniel 7.

Daniel’s Vision of the Four Beasts

Dan 7:1  In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head on his bed. Then he wrote the dream and gave the sum of the matters.

Dan 7:2  Daniel spoke and said, In my vision by night I was looking: and behold, the four winds of the heavens were stirring up the Great Sea.

Dan 7:3  And four great beasts came up from the sea, different from one another.

Dan 7:4  The first was like a lion and had eagle’s wings. I watched until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on its feet like a man. And a man’s heart was given to it.

Dan 7:5  And behold another beast, a second, like a bear. And it raised itself up on one side, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. And they said this to it: Arise, eat up much flesh.

Dan 7:6  After this I saw, and lo, another, like a leopard, which had four wings of a bird on its back. The beast also had four heads; and rulership was given to it.

Dan 7:7  After this I looked in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, frightening and terrifying, and very strong. And it had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the rest with its feet. And it was different from all the beasts before it; and it had ten horns.

Dan 7:8  I was thinking about the horns, and behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom three of the first horns were uprooted. And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

The Ancient of Days Reigns

Dan 7:9  I watched until the thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days sat, whose robe was white as snow, and the hair of His head like the pure wool. His throne was like flames of fire, and His wheels likeburning fire.

Dan 7:10  A stream of fire went out and came out from before Him. A thousand thousands served Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The judgment was set, and the books were opened.

Dan 7:11  Then I was looking because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke. I watched until the beast was slain, and his body was destroyed and given to the burning flame.

Dan 7:12  And the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away. Yet their lives were made longer for a season and time.

The Son of Man Is Given Dominion

Dan 7:13  I saw in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him.

Dan 7:14  And dominion and glory was given Him, and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations and languages, should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Daniel’s Vision Interpreted

Dan 7:15  I Daniel was distressed in my spirit in its body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

Dan 7:16  And I came near one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the meaning of the things.

Dan 7:17  These four great beasts are four kings; they shall arise out of the earth.

Dan 7:18  But the saints of the Most High shall take the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.

Dan 7:19  Then I wanted to know the truth of the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, very frightening, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of bronze; who devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the rest with his feet;

Dan 7:20  and of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth speaking very great things, whose appearance wasgreater than his fellows.

Dan 7:21  I watched, and that horn made war with the saints and overcame them

Dan 7:22  until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High. And the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

Dan 7:23  And he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all kingdoms and shall devour the whole earth, and shall trample it and crush it.

Dan 7:24  And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise. And another shall arise after them. And he shall be different from the first, and he shall humble three kings.

Dan 7:25  And he shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and plot to change times and laws. And they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and one-half time.

Dan 7:26  But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his rulership, to cut off and to destroy until the end.

Dan 7:27  And the kingdom and rulership, and the greatness of the kingdom under all the heavens, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. And all kingdoms shall serve and obey Him.

Dan 7:28  Here is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my thoughts troubled me much, and my face changed on me. But I kept the matter in my heart.

In Daniel 7 Daniel is talking about four world empires, symbolized as four beasts (Daniel 7:1–14). The four empires are the same as Nebuchadnezzar saw in his dream in Daniel 2, although in that dream, they are pictured as various metals in a statue. These world’s empires have a certain amount of authority for a certain length of time, but they will all pass away, and “the holy people of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever—yes, for ever and ever” (Daniel 7:18).

The sea represents the people of the earth and out of the sea, out of the people, arise each of these empires. (Daniel 7:2-3)

The first of Daniel’s four beasts is “like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle” (Daniel 7:4). As Daniel watches, the wings are torn off the beast, and the creature stands erect like a man and a human mind is given to it. Later, the angel who interprets the dream tells Daniel, “The four great beasts are four kings that will rise from the earth” (verse 17). This first beast is representative of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. Its rise to human-like status reflects Nebuchadnezzar’s deliverance from a beastly existence and his insight into the true nature of God (Daniel 4:34–35). This is also the head of Gold from Daniel 2:36-38.

The second beast in Daniel’s vision is “like a bear. It was raised up on one of its sides, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth” (Daniel 7:5). A voice tells the second beast to devour flesh until it is satisfied. This beast represents the Medo-Persian Empire; the raising up of one side of the creature indicates that one of the kingdom’s parts (Persia) would be dominant. The three ribs in the creature’s mouth symbolize nations that were “devoured” by the Medes and the Persians. These three conquered nations are known to be Babylon, Lydia, and Egypt. This beast is represented by the breast and arms of Sliver of Daniel 2:39.

The third of the four beasts is “like a leopard,” except it has four bird-like wings on its back and four heads (Daniel 7:6). This beast is given authority to rule. The third beast represents Greece, an empire known for the swiftness of its conquests. The four heads are predictive of the four-way division of the empire following Alexander the Great’s death. This beast is represented by the belly and thighs of bronze in Daniel 2:39.

Take special note that each empire expands from but also takes over the territory of the preceding empire. They are not isolated land masses but are always connected to the ones that came before.

The final beast that Daniel sees rising from the sea is the most dreadful—“terrifying and frightening and very powerful” (Daniel 7:7). This fourth beast has “bronze claws” (verse 19) and “large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left” totally annihilating its prey (verse 7). The fourth beast has ten horns. This creature represents the Roman Empire, a mighty kingdom that indeed crushed all its foes. This fourth beast is represented by the legs and feet of Daniel 2:40-44.

The ten toes are the same as the ten horns in both visions. This final beast is an empire or the legacy of the mighty Roman Empire; it is going to be of European powers. When we understand the first beast of Revelation 13 is a government system that is to be worshiped, then the second beast of Rev 13, is more understandable. Just understanding this progression of Empires from Daniel rules out the current BRICS teaching some ill-informed people put out as the ten horns.

To understand the second beast coming out of the earth know that it is like the lamb. This should take you to the two goats of Leviticus 16. One goat represents Yehovah and the other Satan or the Azazel. The beast comes out of the earth. You have another example in the Ark of Yehovah. There are two identical Cherubs over the Arch. One was Satan and he was cast down. The Azazel Goat is not Yehshua, but it is Satan.

Satan Thrown Down to Earth

Rev 12:7  And there was war in Heaven. Michael and his angels warring against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels warred,

Rev 12:8  but did not prevail. Nor was place found for them in Heaven any more.

Rev 12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent called Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Rev 12:10  And I heard a great voice saying in Heaven, Now has come the salvation and power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ. For the accuser of our brothers is cast down, who accused them before our God day and night.

Rev 12:11  And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony. And they did not love their soul until death.

Rev 12:12  Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and those tabernacling in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and in the sea! For the Devil came down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a little time.

Rev 12:13  And when the dragon saw that he was cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who bore the man child .

This is also connected to one of the trumpet plagues:

Rev 9:1  And the fifth angel sounded. And I saw a star fall from the heaven to the earth, and it was given the key of the abyss.

Rev 9:2  And it opened the bottomless pit. And there arose a smoke out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace. And the sun and air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit.

Rev 9:3  And out of the smoke came forth locusts onto the earth. And authority was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have authority.

Rev 9:4  And they were commanded not to hurt the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God in their foreheads.

Rev 9:5  And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months. And their torment was like a scorpion’s torment when he stings a man.

Rev 9:6  And in those days men will seek death and will not find it. And they will long to die, and death will flee from them.

Rev 9:7  And the shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle. And on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.

Rev 9:8  And they had hairs like the hairs of women, and their teeth were like the teeth of lions.

Rev 9:9  And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron. And the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.

Rev 9:10  And they had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. And their authority was to hurt men five months.

Rev 9:11  And they had a king over them, the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in Greek his name is Apollyon.

Rev 9:12  The first woe is past. Behold, after these things yet come two woes.

Satan established the worship of Noah’s wife shortly after the flood. She was then and is today worshiped in the following names. Gaia, Queen of Heaven, Mother of All Living, Blessed Mother, Virgin Mother, Hathor, Dianna, The Blessed Virgin Mary. With this understanding, we must now read the rest of Rev 13 and understand. Satan is going to look like and speak as the Virgin Mary.

Through the coming apparition of Mary, Satan will cause the world to worship either the UN or the EU. I am still not sure which one will dominate. Most likely the UN. The Statue of Mary will warn of fire coming down from heaven, and people will hear it speak audibly.

The Second Beast

Rev 13:11  And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. And it had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon.

Rev 13:12  And it exercises all the authority of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and those dwelling in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Rev 13:13  And it does great wonders, so that it makes fire come down from the heaven onto the earth in the sight of men.

Rev 13:14  And it deceives those dwelling on the earth, because of the miracles which were given to it to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth that they should make an image to the beast who had the wound by a sword and lived.

Rev 13:15  And there was given to it to give a spirit to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might both speak, and might cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

Rev 13:16  And it causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark on their right hand, or in their foreheads,

Rev 13:17  even that not any might buy or sell except those having the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of its name.

Rev 13:18  Here is the wisdom. Let him having reason count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. And its number is six hundred and sixty-six.
