September 3, 2011 â WASHINGTON, DC â Nature is pummeling the United States this year with extremes. Unprecedented triple-digit Fahrenheit (38-plus degree Celsius) heat and devastating drought. Deadly tornadoes leveling towns. Massive rivers overflowing. A billion-dollar blizzard. And now, unusual hurricane-caused flooding in the northeastern state of Vermont. If whatâs falling from the sky isnât enough, the ground shook in places that normally seem stable: Colorado and the entire East Coast. On Friday, a strong quake triggered brief tsunami warnings in Alaska. Arizona and New Mexico have broken records for wildfires.
Total weather losses top $35 billion, and thatâs not counting Hurricane Irene, according to the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration. There have been more than 700 U.S. disaster and weather deaths, most from the tornado outbreaks this spring. Last year, the world seemed to go wild with natural disasters in the deadliest year in a generation. But 2010 was bad globally, and the United States mostly was spared. This year, while there have been devastating events elsewhere, such as the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, Australiaâs flooding and a drought in Africa, itâs is the United Statesâ turn to get smacked. âIâm hoping for a break. Iâm tired of working this hard. This is ridiculous,â said Jeff Masters, a meteorologist who runs Weather Underground, a meteorology service that tracks strange and extreme weather. âIâm not used to seeing all these extremes all at once in one year.â The U.S. has had a record 10 weather catastrophes costing more than a billion dollars: five separate tornado outbreaks, two different major river floods in the Upper Midwest and the Mississippi River, drought in the Southwest and a blizzard that crippled the Midwest and Northeast, and Irene.
The East Coast got a double-whammy in one week with a magnitude 5.8 earthquake followed by a drenching from Irene. If one place felt more besieged than others, it was tiny Mineral, Virginia, the epicenter of the quake, where Louisa County Fire Lt. Floyd Richard stared at the darkening sky before Irene and said, âWhat did we do to Mother Nature to come through here like this.â There are still four months to go, including September, the busiest month of the hurricane season. The Gulf Coast expected a soaking this weekend from Tropical Storm Lee and forecasters were watching Hurricane Katia slogging west in the Atlantic. The insurance company Munich Re calculated that in the first six months of the year there have been 98 natural disasters in the United States, about double the average of the 1990s. Even before Irene, the Federal Emergency Management Agency was on pace to obliterate the record for declared disasters issued by state, reflecting both the geographic breadth and frequency of Americaâs problem-plagued year. âIf you werenât in a drought, you were drowning is what it came down to,â Masters said. Add to that, oppressive and unrelenting heat. Tens of thousands of daily weather records have been broken or tied and nearly 1,000 all-time records set, with most of them heat or rain related. âI think this year has really been extraordinary in terms of natural catastrophes,â said Andreas Schrast, head of catastrophic perils for Swiss Re, another big insurer. One of the most noticeable and troubling weather extremes was the record-high nighttime temperatures, said Tom Karl, director of NOAAâs National Climatic Data Center. That shows that the country wasnât cooling off at all at night, which both the human body and crops need. âThese events are abnormal,â Karl said. âBut itâs part of an ongoing trend weâve seen since 1980.â âTaiwan News

After that interview I then found this article on Germany and the EU and was blown away. This all has to happen before 2013 and you will notice the call for unification is to be done before 2012 and to be done with out England involved. England is the son of Joseph and the Beast is going to destroy or try to destroy all of teh Ten Tribes of Israel Including the USA and UK and the State of Israel. BERLIN (Reuters) – Former German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder on Sunday called for the creation of a “United States of Europe,” saying the bloc needed a common government to avoid future economic crises.
Schroeder, a Social Democrat who ran the country from 1998 to 2005, said in an interview with Der Spiegel that European Union leaders were wrong to expect the euro to drive the bloc on its own.
“The current crisis makes it relentlessly clear that we cannot have a common currency zone without a common fiscal, economic and social policy,” Schroeder said.
He added: “We will have to give up national sovereignty.”
“From the European Commission, we should make a government which would be supervised by the European Parliament. And that means the United States of Europe.”
Schroeder, who nurtured a close relationship with France during his leadership, welcomed an initiative launched by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Nicolas Sarkozy to move toward a fiscal union in 2012.
Their proposal, which would mean giving up sovereignty over budgetary policies with the aim to shore up the 17-nation currency union, has received a lukewarm response from other euro zone countries.
“Germany and France have sent a strong signal with the plan for a European economic government, if it is meant seriously and receives suitable authority such as a European finance minister,” Schroeder said.
“That is the correct way forward and the precondition for the correct funding — euro bonds,” he said.
Germany, which enjoys lower costs for issuing debt than its single currency partners, has led resistance to joint euro-denominated bonds.
“It is a huge bond market — speculators would no longer harbor hopes of splitting it up,” Schroeder said.
In order to initiate these changes, Schroeder said EU member states would have to return to the negotiating table and hammer out a new treaty to replace the one agreed in Lisbon that currently serves as the bloc’s institutional framework.
“In the crisis lies a real opportunity to achieve a political union in Europe,” he said.
Schroeder, who says the EU can only respond to growing competition with the United States and Asia by being fully united, has long pointed to Britain as a hurdle to further EU integration.
“Great Britain causes the greatest problems. (It is) not in the euro but the British nevertheless always want to participate when it comes to designing a European economic area,” he said. “That doesn’t work.”

It is a little rough as I was at work and could not always hear what was being said. So my apologies.
Each week I get tons of emails telling me about the things that planet X is going to cause to planet Earth. Later it was planet Nibiru and most recently it was planet Elenin; all of which would cause massive earthquakes and change the polar magnetic fields here on Earth.
People who posted these things had huge followings and with the rise in earthquake activity in the last few years many began to believe them.
Some of you even asked me about these close encounters and whether or not it was prophesied. I never did respond to these things as I could not find it in the bible, and when I said as much I was attacked by the same sort who also subscribed to the chem. Trail teachings and the POW camps being built around the country. I have warned repeatedly about those of you who have subscribed to this gossip and passed it around as if it were the gospel truth. You are committing a sin. You are being false witnesses.
Much of this crap is invented on some talk show to help keep ratings high for advertising. They throw in a little bit of scripture to make it sound reasonable. It all comes from the same tree of knowledge of good and evil. Yes Satans tree and many of you still subscribe to it and pretend to be holier than thou. Even Satan can appear as an angel of light. And if you read the scriptures you will know Satan knows the scriptures very well.

Because a number of you do not love the simple truth, you will be given over to delusional thinking.
Stop and consider if this applies to you. Do not read over it and think nothing of it. Are those things you forward about conspiracy teachings and all the goings on in back rooms and behind closed doors that you and a few select others only have excess to the privileged information, really true? If you are one of those passing on this secret information, you have been given over to this delusion, this strong delusion.
You need to repent right away and with great haste. Read again why you have been given over to this lie; in order that all should be judged who did not believe the truth, but have delighted in the unrighteousness.
Brethren think long and hard on this. It is very serious. YOU who do not rely on the scriptures, but delve into all sorts of conspiracies and illuminati and strange planets and the whole host of false teachings; you have been given over to believe the lie. Yehovah has given up trying to show you the truth and has instead sent you the lie and allowed you to swallow it hook line and sinker. He has given up until you repent; that is until you stop and turn around 180 degrees from this false teaching and return to Him and study His words. Not the words of some false guru on the radio.
The Illuminati (plural of Latin illuminatus, “enlightened”) is a name given to several groups, both historical and modern, and both real and fictitious. Historically, the name refers specifically to the Bavarian Illuminati, an Enlightenment-era secret society founded on May 1, 1776.
In modern times it is also used to refer to a purported conspiratorial organization which acts as a shadowy “power behind the throne”, allegedly controlling world affairs through present day governments and corporations, usually as a modern incarnation or continuation of the Bavarian Illuminati. In this context, the Illuminati are believed to be the masterminds behind events that will lead to the establishment of a New World Order.

First it was President Bush Senior and then Bill Clinton and for absolutely sure it was George Bush Junior. Now many of you claim it is President Obama. And when the next president comes along you will switch your conspiracy theory to include the next one too. Some of you have bettered this one by saying the lawless one is the Prince of England. You have absolutely no clue about the history of the English and American people when you do this. You have no idea who the Beast Power truly is as described in the very pages of you bible that you are supposed to be reading. No clue. If you will study your bible to see what it says and not to find proof for you own theories then you too will learn the truth.
But as long as you continue in this charade of lies, the veil will not be lifted from you and you will not see the truth at all; even when it is right in front of you.

Also Bob Wadsworth has calculated the Jubilee years by the rotation of the planets and has concluded that the next and 120th Jubilee is 2046. I have concluded that the 120th Jubilee year is to be 2045 using the Sabbatical cycles found in history and in the bible. We differ by just one year. I find this amazing. Comet Elenin Self-Destructs
Whenever astronomers discover a comet headed inbound toward a close encounter the Sun, there’s always buzz among observers about how bright it might get. That was certainly the case last December, when Comet Elenin (C/2010 X1) made its debut. Many hoped it would become easily visible to the unaided eye as it rounded perihelion nine months later.
By April, that initial enthusiasm had waned a bit, as it became clear that Comet Elenin was small and intrinsically faint.
The keys to its peak visibility were the closeness it would eventually have to the Sun on September 10th (0.48 astronomical unit, about 45 million miles) and to Earth in mid-October (0.23 a.u.). In fact, amateur observations through July and early August suggested that this interloper might even be ahead of schedule, brightness-wise. The hearts of comet observers everywhere raced a little faster.
Here’s how Comet Elenin (C/2010 X1) looked on the evening of August 27, 2011. Observing from Chatelaine in southeast Australia, Michael Mattiazzo combined 15 10-second exposures taken through an 11-inch telescope. The edge-on 13th-magnitude galaxy NGC 4348 is at lower right.

Now all bets are off. Within the past week the comet’s brightness has declined by 50%, dropping a half magnitude between August 19th and 20th, according to Australian observer Michael Mattiazzo. (The comet’s current location in western Virgo makes it virtually unobservable from northern latitudes.)
Worse, images show Comet Elenin’s bright core becoming elongated and diffuse â the telltale signs that its icy nucleus has either broken in two or disintegrated altogether.
One veteran comet-watcher who’s not surprised is John Bortle. Four months ago, based on Elenin’s performance to that point, he cautioned, “The comet may be intrinsically a bit too faint to even survive perihelion passage.” And his words have proved prescient, as the fading continues (estimates are near 9th magnitude) and there’s speculation that this object or its remnants might not be around much longer.
I guess all those pseudoscientific bloggers who predicted planet-altering encounters with a cosmic visitor bright enough to be seen in broad daylight will just have to find something else to worry about.
Each story such as those passed around above, takes away from the true person behind the earthquakes and tries to explain them without Yehovah being in the picture, such as an act of nature.
I have been telling you the earthquakes will come in this third Sabbatical cycle since 2005 and I have said they are coming as a result of Yehovahâs anger towards those of us who have not kept the Sabbath or the Holy Days of Lev and none others and the Sabbatical years. Because we do not and will not keep these special Holy Times, Yehovah is sending the curses of Lev 26 on us.
I have been telling you that pestilence is going to break out during this third Sabbatical cycle and then many of you retort that the illuminati have planned to reduce the populations by spreading the disease through vaccinations.
I tell you that famine is coming in this the third Sabbatical cycle and you write back that the secret Jesuit society is manipulating the food crops to again reduce the populations.
I tell you the severe weather is sent by Yehovah as part of the second Sabbatical cycle of curses which continues for each of the five Sabbatical cycles and you all claim the Tornados and Hurricanes and Cyclones are brought about by HAARP and those governments that control them or the secret society that does.
In each case you deny Yehovah and His will to invoke these curses to punish us for not obeying Him. And by spreading this crap you are complicit in the crime against Yehovah in denying that it is He who is causing these catastrophes.
Far too many of you try to explain these curses by planet X or Nature or anything else so you do not have to fess up and admit that Yehovah is in charge and it is He who is bringing these things about. It means you must repent from not obeying Him.
Indeed He has given you over to those perishing, because you do not receive the love of the truth, and He does this in order for you to be saved, so wake up and return to the Torah and it alone.

This then led to the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq and the training of thousands of future terrorist during this time.

But even worse than all of this, these events in the past ten years have contributed and aided Iran in its rise to become the geopolitical terrorist country that it now is with tentacles that reach into almost every country in the Middle East.
This past week it was revealed; Iran said it aided Libyan rebels: Iran âdiscreetlyâ provided humanitarian aid to Libyan rebels before the fall of Tripoli, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said on Sunday, according to the Jam-e-Jam newspaper. âWe were in touch with many of the rebel groups in Libya before the fall of Qadhafi, and discreetly dispatched three or four food and medical consignments to Benghazi,â Salehi told the daily. On Tuesday, Iran âcongratulated the Muslim people of Libyaâ after rebels took control of much of Tripoli. Iran, it seems, is all set to build a working relationship with Libyaâs new government.
Now let us review exactly what has happened over the past ten years since 9/11. Far too many of you see just the war on the nightly news and do not see the prophecies being worked out here on Earth. These events are being used by Yehovah, and this is why I tell you He was the one who sent ben Laden. So that the USA and UK will be corrected and repent and return to Him. But as yet they do not.
So now take a look at the history of events and see just what they have produced.

Question: Who has done the most over the last 10 years to help Iran achieve its goal of regional dominance? If youâre thinking Russia, North Korea or Syria, or perhaps Hezbollah, Hamas or al Qaeda, think again.
The most important contributor to Iranâs rise has been the United States and its Western partners.
Our record is impressive. In spring 2003, we invaded Iraq and toppled Saddam Hussein, whose regime pretty much single-handedly kept Iran in check for two decades. In 2005, we endorsed
Lebanonâs Cedar Revolution, which ultimately gave rise to the current Hezbollah-dominated government. This February, America and its Western allies proudly supported the removal of Hosni Mubarak, the man responsible for keeping the lid on radical Islam in Egypt and forging Cairo as a regional counterweight to Iran. Right now in Yemen, America is endorsing the ouster of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, which would place another feather in the cap of Iran, since it has supplied money and weapons both to Shiite al Houthi forces and to al Qaeda cells there in order to foment chaos in the Gulf state and to distance it from Saudi Arabia.
Now, thanks largely to Western brawn, Libyan strongman Muammar Qadhafi is gone.
There was plenty that was ugly about Hussein, Mubarak and Qadhafi. But in their own unique way, each was a bulwark against Iran, its extremist Islamic proxies and radical Islamâs overarching ambition of regional, and eventually global, domination. With Saddam gone, for example, Iraq today belongs to Iran in all but name. And while itâs only been six months since Mubarak was dumped, events like the recent terrorist attack launched from the Sinai confirm radical Islamâs controlling influence over Egypt.
With Qadhafi gone, Libya is a sitting duck.
And Iran, it appears, has already made significant inroads. On Sunday, Iranian Foreign Minister Alu Akbar Salehi told Jam-e-Jam newspaper that Tehran had been supporting the rebels in Libya. âWe were in touch with many of the rebel groups in Libya before the fall of (Muammar) Qadhafi, and discreetly dispatched three or four food and medical consignments to Benghazi,â Salehi told the daily. He also stated that: âThe head of [Libyaâs] National Transitional Council (ntc), Mustafa Abdel Jalil, sent a letter of thanks to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for having been on their side and helping.â
Thatâs a shocking admission: Iran, it seems, has already developed a cozy working relationship with Libyaâs new government!
When the rebels penetrated Tripoli last week, Iran sent a note congratulating the ntc and encouraging it to âprevent foreigners, especially yesterdayâs oppressors and those which have claims today, from meddling with their fate.â
The West thinks the battle for Libya is over now that Qadhafi is gone. In reality, the battle for Libya has only just startedâand already Iran and radical Islam have the upper hand.
In a report released by a French commission of inquiry in May, it was indicated that Islamic terrorists have deeply infiltrated the rebels in Libya. According to the report, jihadists have played a predominant role in the Libyan rebellion, while âtrue democratsâ represent only a minority. The report revealed that the ntc is comprised of four factions: âtrue democratsâ; partisans of a restoration of the monarchy that was overthrown by Qadhafi in 1969; Islamic extremists seeking the establishment of an Islamic state; and former figures in the Qadhafi regime who defected for opportunistic or other reasons. Many of the monarchists are also Islamists.
Although the president of the ntc is a âtraditionalist,â the report stated, heâs âsupported by the Islamists.â
Sound familiar? Egypt also has multiple political parties, including a few âtrue democrats.â And just as will likely eventually happen in Libya, Egypt appears to be embracing democratic institutions, a constitution and the rule of law, free and fair elections, and an open judicial system. In reality these are superficial gestures: Egypt today belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Expect the same in Libya.
âThe nato intervention [in Libya] in March 2011 was done without due diligence as to who it is in Benghazi that it was helping,â wrote Middle East expert Daniel Pipes. The âchances are good that Islamist forces are hiding behind more benign elements, waiting for the right moment to pounce âŚ. I fear that a dead-end despotism will be replaced by the agents of a worldwide ideological movement. I fear that Western forces will have brought civilizationâs worst enemies to powerâ (emphasis added throughout).
Again.
Historian Victor Davis Hanson is also worried. One of two scenarios is likely, he says. There will be âeither a sort of on-again-off-again chaos until a military-backed clique or strongman emerges and the same old cycle resumes, or some sort of constitutional system in a decidedly Islamic context âŚ.â In other words, Libya, like Iraq and Egypt, will fall under the influence if Islam. If that happens, warned Hanson, âwe could expect the new stateâs foreign policy to be anti-Western, friendly to China and Russia, virulently and actively anti-Israel, and more accommodating with Iran and its subsidized terrorist appendages.â
As rebel forces entered Tripoli last week, a draft copy of Libyaâs new constitution surfaced on the Internet. The document is filled with terms that thrill Western liberals, terms like âdemocracy,â âfreedom,â âequality,â ârule of lawâ and âequal opportunity.â Less emphasized but of extreme importance, however, is Article 1, which establishes sharia law as the supreme law of the land. âIslam is the religion of the state, and the principle source of legislation is Islamic jurisprudence (sharia),â it states.
Perhaps there will be âfreedomâ and âdemocracyâ and âequality,â butit will be subject to sharia law, which among other things mandates the killing of infidels and the establishment of a global Islamic caliphate!
In the weeks and months ahead the situation in Libya will likely get very messy. Iran is not the only major state that will attempt to establish Tripoli as a political and strategic ally. Libya contains the largest oil reserves in Africa and is not an insignificant component of global energy supplies. It also has 1,100 miles of coastline on the Mediterranean, putting it within easy reach of Constantinople, Rome and the shores of Spain and France. With so much at stake strategically and financially, Europe will also demand a role in shaping Tripoliâs future.
In addition to Iran and Europe, donât be surprised if China wants in on the action too. Beijing is heavily invested in North Africa and will undoubtedly be on the prowl for opportunities to snatch up oil or other Libyan resources.
In the end though, Libya will pitch its tent in Iranâs camp. Ideologically, Libya is more closely aligned with Iran than either Europe or China. More importantly, the reason we expect Libya to fall under the radical Islamists is that Bible prophecy says so! You can read the specific prophecy in Daniel 11:40-45. Notice, Libya here is mentioned by name, and it is aligned with the âking of the south,â which, as we have explained so often, is Iran and radical Islam.
This past week marks a milestone in the fulfillment of this central prophecy. With Qadhafi gone, Libyaâs slide into the radical Islamic camp will only accelerate.
This is the first curse of Lev 26 and it has not stopped since it was decreed to go forth. Indeed Terror is going to increase and just because be Laden is now dead, does not mean the reign of terror is over. We now have the Muslim Brotherhood coming to rule in Egypt.
A presidential election is expected to be held in Egypt in October or November 2011. Declared candidates include former International Atomic Energy Agency Director-General Mohamed ElBaradei and Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa and leading Islamic thinker Hazem Salah Abu Ismail; An Islamist figure and an affiliate of the Muslim Brotherhood. He is also a known T.V host amongst Egyptians. Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh; Secretary-General of the Arab Medical Union; former member of the Guidance Bureau of the Muslim Brotherhood.

A rising leader in the radical Islamic movement in Egypt that has become a major political player since the demise of Hosni Mubarak’s regime says Christian churches may need to be blown up and Christians exterminated to allow the advance of Islamic law, or Shariah.
The comments come from Sheik ‘Adel Shehato, a senior leader with the Egyptian Islamic Jihad terrorist group. The sheik was jailed in 1991 because of his positions but was released earlier this year in the revolution that removed Mubarak from power.
His interview with the Egyptian daily Roz Al-Yousef was translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute.

The sheik, a senior jihadist leader, responded to a question about using violence against Christians, who make up a substantial minority in Egypt.
“Are you against blowing up churches?” the newspaper interviewer asked Shehato.
“Yes and no,” he replied. “The Christian is free to worship his God in his church, but if the Christians make problems for the Muslims, I will exterminate them. I am guided by the Shariah, and it stipulates that they must pay the jizya tax while in a state of humiliation.”
“These positions of yours frighten us, as Egyptians,” the interviewer said.
“I will not act [in ways] that contradict my faith just in order to please the people. … We say to the Christians, convert to Islam or pay the jizya, otherwise we will fight you. The Shariah is not based on logic but on divine law. That is why we oppose universal, manmade constitutions.”
MEMRI, which was founded in 1998 to monitor Middle East media, is an independent, nonpartisan nonprofit group that has offices in Washington, London, Rome, Jerusalem, Baghdad, Shanghai and Tokyo.
Advisers include winners of Nobels, the President Medal of Freedom and the U.S. Congress Gold Medal, such as Elie Wiesel, James Woolsey, John Bolton, John Ashcroft, William Bennett, Paul Bremer, Alan Dershowitz and Edgar Bronfman.
Among the many assertions made by the senior Islamic leader was that the Egyptian pyramids need to be closed down to tourists.
“There will be tourism for purposes of [medical] treatment, but the tourism sites of the pyramids, the Sphinx, and Sharm Al-Sheikh will be shut down, because my task is to get people to serve Allah rather than people. No proud Muslim will ever be willing to live off tourism profits, because the tourists come to drink alcohol and fornicate. [If they] want to come, they must comply with the conditions and laws of Islam. We will explain to them that, according to the Shariah, the pyramids are [from] a pagan and polytheistic age.”
He continued with a description of the new state of arts and culture in Egypt, should he be in power.
“In Islam, there is no such thing as art. Painting, singing, and dancing are forbidden. Therefore, in the state there will be nothing but Islamic culture, for I cannot teach the infidel culture. ⌠We will return to the decent culture of the Muslims and the Muslim forefathers, and to Islamic history,” he said.
The far-reaching interview included his plans for worldwide government.
“As Muslims, we must believe that the Quran is our constitution, and that it is impossible for us to institute a Western democratic regime,” he said. “I oppose democracy because it is not the faith of the Muslims. ⌠According to Islam, it is forbidden for people to rule and to legislate laws, as Allah alone is ruler. Allah did not hand down the term [democracy] as a form of rule, and it is completely absent from the Arab and Islamic lexicon.”
He said, “Once Allah’s law is instated (sic), the role of the people will end and Allah will reign supreme.”
A leader like himself would have no need to know what people want, he said.
“There is no consultation [by government leaders] with commoners, such as workers and fellahin, nor is there consultation over issues that contravene the Shariah,” he said.
Muslims such as Mubarak who led Islamic nations but without strict adherence to Shariah were apostate, he warned.
“They are apostate infidels, as opposed to infidels like the Jews and Christians, and anyone who doubts that they are infidels is an infidel,” he said.
Especially, he warned, Muslims must be wary of Christians and cannot be friends.
“I must support the Muslim and oppose the Christian,” he said. “If there is a Christian who does me no harm, I will maintain limited contact with him. Islam [discusses] certain degrees of contact with the Christian, namely: keeping promises, dealing honestly with him, treating him kindly, and befriending him. The first three are allowed, but the fourth is deemed dangerous, for it contravenes the verse that says, ‘O you who believe! Do not take my enemy and your enemy for friends⌔
A worldwide Islamic kingdom, he explained, is a given.
“Of course we will launch a campaign of Islamic conquest throughout the world. As soon as the Muslim and Islam control Egypt and implement the Sharia, we will turn to the neighboring regions, Libya and Sudan to the south. All the Muslims in the world who wish to see the Shariah implemented worldwide will join the Egyptian army in order to form Islamic battalions, whose task will be to bring about the victory âŚ
He said international relations will be simple.
“There are Muslims and there are infidels. We will have ambassadors in every country. We want to call all other countries to join Islam, and that will be the task of the ambassadors. If [they] refuse, there will be war,” he said.
WND previously reported jihadists are boasting of the “paradise” the region is becoming since Mubarak was removed from power.
Additionally, there have been reports of a on a growing possibly jihadi threat not only inside the United States, but inside the U.S. government.

The King of the North is going to come, The EU under the guise of peace and NATO, at the request of the Pope, this European Super Power will come to save those poor Christians being killed and martyred in Libya and Sudan.
Over 97 percent of the population of Sudan adheres to Islam. After an Islamic legal code was introduced on a national level, the ruling National Congress (NCP) established themselves as the sole political party in the state and has since supported the use of recruited Arab militias in guerrilla warfare, such as in the ongoing conflict in Darfur. Since then thousands of people have been displaced and killed, and the need for humanitarian care in Darfur has attracted worldwide attention. The conflict has since been described as a genocide.
The Darfur Conflict was a guerrilla conflict or civil war centered on the Darfur region of Sudan. It began in February 2003 when the Sudan Liberation Movement/Army (SLM/A) and Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) groups in Darfur took up arms, accusing the Sudanese government of oppressing non-Arab Sudanese in favor of Sudanese Arabs
Sudan just voted in 2011 to split the country between Muslims to the north and Christians to the south. Southern Christian Sudan owns 80% of the Sudanese Oil fields.
Knowing this; how the Arab North have treated those of Darfur and that the Christian South has a great deal of the oil; and knowing the thoughts of Sheik ‘Adel Shehato and how the Arab North has already implemented Sharia Law, it does not take a rocket Scientist to see how the prophecy of Daniel is being set up in Sudan.
Especially now that the EU under NATO has already taken over and beaten up Libya and its rich oil fields, which Europe desperately needs. Europe will want the oil fields of Sudan for themselves very soon and will want to stop that oil from going to China and Japan where it now flows.
Yes the events that Osama ben Laden began in August of 1996 by declaring war on the USA and the USA going after him as a result of 9/11 will continue for years to come as Yehovah works out His plan to have all prophecies concluded by the end of this Jubilee cycle in 2045. Yehovah is in charge and all of these events have taken place as we are told in Lev 26.
Lev 26:14 âBut if you do not obey Me, and do not do all these commands, 15 and if you reject My laws, or if your being loathes My right-rulings, so that you do not do all My commands, but break My covenant, 16 I also do this to you: And I shall appoint sudden alarm over you, wasting disease and inflammation, destroying the eyes, and consuming the life. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 âAnd I shall set My face against you, and you shall be smitten before your enemies. And those who hate you shall rule over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you.
Yehovah is the one who sends Terror and He is not yet done. These Muslims hordes will unite with the German and European nations in 2019 and in 2020 will attack and defeat the USA in war. When you are raped because you are a Christian or infidel you will know terror then. When war is outside your city and your door and the bombs are all around you, you will know terror then. When famine stalks you and you see death all around you and your children dying, you will now terror then. And when disease is everywhere and the dead where ever you look, you will then know terror.
You can avoid this by repenting and returning to Yehovah and His Torah. By keeping the Sabbath as we described to you last week and by keeping the holy Days as we are describing to you this week and in the weeks to come and by keeping the Sabbatical years which is what this Web site teaches all the time.
You can obey Yehovah or you can learn how terrible Terror is.
We also have the UN vote on a Palestinian state coming up in September.

Last week I received an email from Avi about our tour in Israel this year for Sukkot.

We are quickly approaching the biblical festival of Sukkot 2011, which starts this year at sundown on October 13 and ends at sundown on October 22 (the Rabbinic calendar for Sukkot begins sundown October 12 and ends with sundown on October 21).
At this time, I have a very, very important announcement to make; so, please pay careful attention!
As you likely know, this year â 2011, September, the United Nations (UN) is being petitioned by the Palestinian Authority (PA) that the UN should recognize and give its blessing to the announcement that Israel’s “WEST BANK” will become its own independent Palestinian State. In other words, all the physical territory that you see on any current map of Israel (maps that show what is called the “Green Line”); all of the physical land that falls within this territory, if declared by the UN to be a “Palestinian State”in September of 2011; all of it will revert to full Palestinian Control. Essentially, if this is declared by the UN to be a “State,” then it will have very serious consequences for the security and defensible borders of the current State of Israel.
IF the UN vote overwhelmingly agrees to the demands of the PA, to form a State, it will mean (among other things) that our Sukkot 2011 study tour will be affected, in that we will LIKELY NOTâŚI repeat, NOT be able to travel into that area by bus, for our own security and safety. This would mean that our study tour to Shiloh, Mount Gerizim, Tapuach Junction, and portions of East Jerusalem (Including parts of the Old City and the Temple Mount) could become a “danger zone” more so than you might expect. IF this should happen, we will have a “PLAN B” for our study tour in place.
Things are heating up here in Israel just ahead of this planned UN Vote in a few week’s time. Already, Jewish settlers in Judea and Samaria have begun arming themselves with ammunition and weapons and will NOT be the least bit deterred to defend their towns and settlements if the Palestinians begin marches on those locations, to dismantle them. The areas in Judea and Samaria could become more than just a bunch of skirmishes. It could erupt into a full blown war zone. THUS, YOU ALL NEED TO BE AWARE OF THESE THINGS.
IF on the other hand, the UN, DOES NOT VOTE favorably towards the PA request for Statehood, this too is likely to bring about violence amongst the Palestinian Arabs and cause major eruptions in Judea and Samaria. So, either way â whether a PA state IS declared or IS NOT declared, we are looking for some serious problems on our horizon.
I give you my word and my promise, as your State Licensed Tour Guide, that I will (and I must) keep you out of all areas of danger. Our studies will go forward as planned. However, WHERE we can go might be affected. But, this is okay. You are coming to Israel to experience something that is very important to the biblical WILL of YHWH. However, I am obligated to make sure that I DO NOT put any of you into harms way; and I promise you that I shall NOT DO anything that could or might look like it would be dangerous to your life. It is my Word to you. I will be monitoring the situation regularly and I will be in touch with the proper authorities to determine what can and cannot be done this year.
My dear family in the faith, please understand this: the things going on in Israel are prophesied in the Bible. These things MUST HAPPEN because we are a nation of rebellion against Truth, Justice, Life, Torah and Yehovah (YHWH). Judgement in the Land of Israel is coming and it will not be a small slap on the hand. Rather, our future judgment is going to be very bloody with many casualties; I am sorry to say.
May we all continue to pray for our national Teshuva (repentance).

Now once again in The Prophecies of Abraham I show you that in the third year of the third Sabbatical cycle; we are right now in the 2nd year of that cycle; in the third year Judah fell in 586 BC.
Also in the fourth year of this same third Sabbatical cycle in the days of Abraham, The Kings of the North came and took the cities of the plain of Sodom. Jerusalem in biblical prophecy is also known as Sodom.
All of these current events and all of those historic events lead me to conclude that Jerusalem will be in great trouble this coming year of 2012 and will be rescued by the EU and NATO under the guise of Peace keepers in 2013. Again this is the prophecy in Daniel 11 telling us this King of the North will enter the Holy Land; Dan 11:41 and shall enter the Splendid Land, and many shall stumble, but these escape from his hand: Ed?om, and Moâab?, and the chief of the sons of Ammon.
All of this is explained in detail with many many scriptures in The Prophecies of Abraham.
On top of all of this is the Christian notion that Oct 21 is the Rapture after failing to come this past may 21. What this does is to give millions of Christians the idea the end is very near. Exactly when they do not know because of the scripture they so quickly quoteâ No Man can know the day or the hourâ which will soon discuss.
But because most Christians think they are already saved by the blood of Jesus and do not have any responsibility to obey the Torah, they all think the Jew must be converted to Christianity or suffer the tribulation.
So when Judah falls into serious turmoil in the coming years the Christians will think this is just as prophesied. It is the Jews who must go through the tribulation.
Many Messianic believers will also fall into this trap because they think the final and last Jubilee will be in 2017 and so you do the math and subtract 3 ½ years from 2017 and you get 2013. The same time that Europe invades Jerusalem in the name of peace keepers and announce PEACE PEACE when there is no peace.
This is what the false prophets said in Jeremiahs day.
Jer 6:14 âAnd they heal the breach of My people slightly, saying, âPeace, peace,â when there is no peace.
These Messianics have fallen for the false teaching of the 70 weeks being 70 years from the founding of Israel in 1948. 70 years later being 2017. They have compounded this false teaching with another false teaching known as the Daniel timeline. It states falsely that the Balfour declaration of 1917 was a Jubilee year. They then add 50 years wrongly to this and come to the year 1967 when The temple mount was again acquired; and to this they add another 50 years and arrive at 2017.
We remind you again what Yehshua warned you about.
Mat 24:24 âFor false messiahs and false prophets shall arise, and they shall show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.
The only way Satan could lead astray the elect, those who are studying Torah, along with those who do not, is to create enough hysteria, so that most of the events look just like most of the truths. It will not matter at this time if they all do not fit. Most will be deceived.
Add this list of deceptions are the facts that in 2014 and 2015 the fourth and fifth years of this Sabbatical cycle, are blood moons that come on the High Holy Days both at Passover and at Sukkot. The war of words and hysteria will like nothing you have heard before and everyone will be quoting Joel.
Joe 2:30 âAnd I shall give signs in the heavens and upon the earth: blood and fire and columns of smoke, 31 the sun is turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of ????.

After this 3rd Sabbatical cycle we still have the 4th on of war for the USA and UK; we then have the 5th one of Captivity for the USA and UK and the time for the two witnesses to do their work and free the captives who then all come back to Israel.
Then we have the sixth Sabbatical cycle which is the one that contains the 3 ½ year tribulation and the binding of Satan and return of Yehshua.
And on top of all of these events we still have each of the fall Holy Days to weave into all of this and this is what we are about to show you in this first study of the Feast of Trumpets.
Now let us continue to share with you the Sabbaths of Lev 23.
Lev 23:23 And ???? spoke to Mosheh, saying, 24 âSpeak to the children of Yisraâ?l, saying, âIn the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you have a rest, a remembrance of blowing of trumpets, a set-apart gathering. 25 âYou do no servile work, and you shall bring an offering made by fire to ????.â â
As I have just shown you many people are convinced the world will end during the next few short years. Some say in 2012 others by 2017. Just a few months ago thousands of people were convinced the world would end on May 21, but the day came and went like any other.
The key to understanding all of this is explained by understanding the Holy Days and what they teach us. It’s the key to understanding Yehovah’s plan of salvation for all men. It’s the key to understanding what Yehovah is doing on earth, and the time frame for His actingâor not acting, as the case may beâin human affairs.
That key is a series of festival days found in the Bible along with the Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles. Few people know about them, and far fewer understand them. Most who do know about them assume that they’re for the Jewish people, but Yehovah plainly says of them, Lev 23:2 âSpeak to the children of Yisraâ?l, and say to them, âThe appointed times of ????, which you are to proclaim as set-apart gatherings, My appointed times, are these:
Lev 23:4 âThese are the appointed times of ????, set-apart gatherings which you are to proclaim at their appointed times.
Christmas and Easter and Halloween teach you nothing but each and every Feast of Yehovah teaches you so much about when Yehovah is going to act.
Passover is a case in point. It is the time the lamb is killed. It is the time Israel was rescued by Yehovah from Egypt. It is the time Yehshua was murdered on the tree.
Pentecost is another; it is the time the Ten Commandments were given at Mount Sinai, and it was also the time the Holy Spirit was given to the Apostles in Jerusalem.
So what about the fall Holy Days, what do they show us?
There are four more, beginning with the Feast of Trumpets. Yehshua, the apostle Paul and the apostle John all tell us that great trumpet blasts will accompany Yehshua’s return to earth.
Mat 24:31 âAnd He shall send His messengers with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
1Co 15:51 See, I speak a secret to you: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible has to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality.
1Th 4:16 Because the Master Himself shall come down from heaven with a shout, with the voice of a chief messenger, and with the trumpet of Elohim, and the dead in Messiah shall rise first.
Rev 11:15 And the seventh messenger sounded, and there came to be loud voices in the heaven, saying, âThe reign of this world has become the reign of our Master, and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!â1 Footnote: 1See 12:10, Ps. 2:8, Ps. 22:28, Dan. 2:44, Dan. 7:13-14, Obad. 15-21, Hag. 2:22, Zech. 14:9.
Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in the heaven, âNow have come the deliverance and the power and the reign of our Elohim,1 and the authority of His Messiah, for the accuser of our brothers, who accused them before our Elohim day and night, has been thrown down.
There is so much rich teaching on this one day. I am going to give you a number of articles to research and study out this awesome day of trumpets which this year comes on Sept 30th depending if the moon is seen or not.
With Wednesday evening August 31st 2011 and Thursday day Sept 1, 2011 being declared the first day of the sixth month we now can count our 29 days and arrive at Sept 29 in the evening as the potential sighting of the New Moon of the Seventh Month. This would match up with the Hebrew Calendar which claims by calculations the 7th month to begin at this same time. The Evening of Thursday Sept 29.
If by chance it is not seen that night, due clouds and because it sets near the same time as the sin does and no one can see the crescent then the 30th day of the month will be Sept 30 and this will begin the Feast of Trumpets at Sunset on Friday the 30th of Sept. and Saturday day.
But because of the postponement rules that the Talmud teaches which are not found in scriptures Judah would move the Feat day by a day so as not to have a high day and weekly Sabbath back to back. See article below about this.
Again the day Yehshua returns, the day Yehshua was born on was the Feast of Trumpets and it is on this day at the beginning of the 7th month, the first day of this month which is determined by the sighted moon, that no one can know the day or the hour until it is seen.

Here at www.sightedmoon.com  we teach about the Sabbatical cycles and how they are important to our understanding of so many things in Scriptures. Without this understanding you are just a one legged roaster in the hen house. You simply canât understand the whole picture and because so many do not know the Sabbatical cycles they canât see how prophecy all ties together.
When you lay out the fall Holy Days on a calendar and count from one to the other as you are told in Lev 23 you will see that between the Feast of Trumpets and Atonement are ten days. This is traditional known as the Ten Days of Awe and we will talk about it next week. Especially the Day of Shabbat Shuva which is huge in importance and yet again so very few even discuss it let alone acknowledge it.
After Atonement we have five days to the first day of Sukkot or the Feast of Tabernacles. This we will talk about in 2 weeks time. But it represents the time when the wedding is to take place. Most Christians suppose they are going to this wedding but have no clue when it takes place. They will be like the 5 virgins with no oil and will then have to go out and find the Holy Spirit to fill what they lack and that is an understanding of torah and willingness to obey it.
7 Days later is the Last Great Day which is not a Holy Day but the end of the 7 days of the Feast of Tabernacles. It is followed by the Eighth Day Feast. Again we will discuss each of these over the next number of weeks as we approach this special time of year; The Seventh Month.
Now that you have them all laid out on a calendar and can count the days from one to the other as told to you in Lev 23, now change the days from days to years as we are told of in The day-for-year principle in the Book of Ezekiel.
Yehovah told the prophet Ezekiel to lay on his side, “a day for each year,” according to the pattern.
Eze 4:4 âAnd lie on your left side, and you shall put the crookedness of the house of Yisraâ?l on it. As many days as you lie on it, you shall bear their crookedness. 5 âFor I Myself have laid on you the years of their crookedness, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days. And you shall bear the crookedness of the house of Yisraâ?l. 6 âAnd when you have completed them, you shall lie again on your right side and shall bear the crookedness of the house of Yehud?ah forty days, a day for a year. I have laid on you a day for a year.
Israel had also been sentenced to 40 years of wandering in the desert according to the 40 days that they had spied out the landââ”a day for every year”.
Num 14:34 âAccording to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forty days â a day for a year, a day for a year â you are to bear your crookednesses forty years, and you shall know My breaking off.
Daniel 9:24-27 is NOT another example of where a day can symbolize a year. Let me say this again so you understand what I am saying; Daniel 9:24 is NOT an example of days for years. The text literally reads “70 weeks,” yet scholars almost universally understand “weeks” here as symbolic of “70 times âsevenâ-years.” This is completely wrong. It is 70 weeks which means 70 Shabuwa or 70 forty-nines. It is referring to the Feast of Weeks a 49 day period from Passover to Pentecost. It does not mean days as some try to make it out to be and as such us this wrong teaching to prove that 2017 is 70 years after 1948. But if you were to multiply 70 by 49 you would get the proper understanding of this prophecy. 3430 years from the Exodus Jubilee cycle of 1386 BC to 2045 as the end of this period when all of this is to be completed is the 120th Jubilee years of 2045.
Now back to the days for year principle. When we apply it to the days between each of the fall Holy Days we get the number of years between each one and when they will take place.
It is by understanding the Eighth Day and what it means and in understanding the Jubilee year and what it means which both of these Celebrations are found in the teachings that are shown to us in the Feast of Pentecost which is also the 50th Day Feast.
So knowing the rich meaning of each of these Holy Days you can see that the Feast of Pentecost and the Jubilee are tied together and so is the Eighth day.
What I did was then laid out the Eight Day as the Jubilee year of 2045. Once I did this I counted backwards; 2044 would be the Last Great Day, 2038 would be the Feast of Tabernacles and the wedding; 2033 would be the Day of Atonement when Satan was locked away; and 2024 would be the year when the Feast of Trumpets takes place.
When I did this, I thought it was wrong because the Holy Days did not match the Sabbatical years. It was only later after much prayer that it was revealed to me that it fit the Sabbatical cycles precisely.
The Feast of Trumpets is the first of the Fall Holy Days. It works out to be in the year 2024; this year of 2024 just so happens to be the 5th curse cycle for Israel. That curse is found in Lev 26.
Lev 26:27 âAnd if in spite of this, you do not obey Me, but walk contrary to Me, 28 then I shall walk contrary to you in wrath. And I Myself shall punish you seven times for your sins. 29 âAnd you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and eat the flesh of your daughters. 30 âAnd I shall destroy your high places, and cut down your sun-pillars, and put your carcasses on the carcasses of your idols. And My being shall loathe you. 31 âAnd I shall turn your cities into ruins and lay your set-apart places waste, and not smell your sweet fragrances. 32 âAnd I shall lay the land waste, and your enemies who dwell in it shall be astonished at it. 33 âAnd I shall scatter you among the gentiles and draw out a sword after you. And your land shall be desert and your cities ruins, 34 and the land enjoy its Sabbaths as long as it lies waste and you are in your enemiesâ land. Then the land would rest and enjoy its Sabbaths. 35 âAs long as it lies waste it rests, for the time it did not rest on your Sabbaths when you dwelt in it. 36 âAnd as for those of you who are left, I shall send faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies, and the sound of a shaken leaf shall cause them to flee. And they shall flee as though retreating from a sword, and they shall fall when no one pursues. 37 âAnd they shall stumble over one another, as from before a sword, when no one pursues. And you shall be unable to stand before your enemies. 38 âAnd you shall perish among the gentiles, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up, 39 and those of you who are left rot away in their crookedness in your enemiesâ lands, and also in their fathersâ crookednesses rot away with them.
This is the curse of captivity. This curse takes place right after Israel, The USA and UK countries along with Judah the State of Israel go into captivity. They have never gone into captivity together in history. This is about to happen in our day in the very years in front of us.

CHAPTER 5
God says, “Hear you this, O priests (ministers of religion); and HARKEN, you House of Israel'(The USA and UK commonwealth Nations of Canada Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, Holland and Norway and Sweden Denmark) and give you ear, O house of the
king (the British Royal throne); for JUDGMENT IS TOWARDS YOU….”
(verses 1-2).“I know Ephraim (The British Commonwealth) and Israel is not hid from me: for now Ephraim Britain, you commit WHOREDOM, and Israel is DEFILED. They will NOT frame their doings to TURN unto their God: for the spirit of WHOREDOMS is in the midst of them, and they have NOT KNOWN the Lord” (verses 3-4).
In these last days it is surely true that Ephraim Britain has not known their God; they are indeed full of whoredoms and sins. You need to read that article on this Website called “The SHOCKING DECLINE of England!” Then you will see clearly HOW BAD AND SICK AND SINFUL is the nation of Ephraim Britain.
“The PRIDE of Israel does testify to his face: therefore shall ISRAEL and EPHRAIM – FALL in their iniquity; and JUDAH also shall FALL WITH THEM! (verse 5).
This did not happen back in the days of Hosea, though many from the house of Judah did go into captivity with Israel, the kingdom of Judah remained. It was not until 604 to 586 B.C. that the House of Judah was punished in captivity by the Babylon Empire. Here we have a prophecy that BOTH Israel and Judah WILL FALL TOGETHER! It is a prophecy for the end time, just as we have seen in the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel.
God will punish Israel and Ephraim (verses 6-7).

Israel The USA and The UK Ephraim along with Judah the State of Israel today will be overthrown together. And this is to take place in the 4th Sabbatical cycle when Germany allies with the Muslim hordes in 2019 and attacks in 2020. That is the middle of the last Shabuwa spoken of in Daniel.
Once they go into captivity and are suffering the plight of this the 5th curse of Lev 26; once Israel and Judah have received all of their punishments then Yehshua will stand up and fight for them. That is beginning on the Feast of Trumpets which also coincides with the first year of that captivity in 2024.
And like a jealous lover that He is, Yehshua will dole out the punishment on Babylon and the rest of the world for what they have done to Israel. This takes place over the course of 10 years.
This is the exact same ten year period that Melchezedeck used for the war and subsequent trial and execution of Nimrod. This is also the same time on Atonement in 10 years time as when Sodom was destroyed and when the flood came. So when we are told in;
Mat 24:36 âBut concerning that day and the hour no one knows, not even the messengers of the heavens, but My Father only.1 Footnote:1Mk. 13:32. 37 âAnd as the days of Noah?, so also shall the coming of the Son of Ad?am be. 38 âFor as they were in the days before the flood, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah? entered into the ark, 39 and they did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also shall the coming of the Son of Ad?am be.
Luk 17:26 âAnd as it came to be in the days of Noah?, so also shall it be in the days of the Son of Ad?am: 27 âThey were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah? went into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 âAnd likewise, as it came to be in the days of Lot: They were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building, 29 but on the day Lot went out of Sed?om it rained fire and sulphur from heaven and destroyed all. 30 âIt shall be the same in the day the Son of Ad?am is revealed.
Why does Luke associate Sodom with the Flood and the end of this age? Because of the Sabbatical cycles which we will show you more of in the weeks to come.

In the past weeks I have warned you about the coming martyrdom. We are shown this in Mathew 22 which speaks about the invitation to the Wedding.

Come to the wedding feast.â â 5 âBut they disregarded it and went their way â this one to his field, that one to his trade. 6 âAnd the rest, having seized his servants, insulted and killed them. 7 âBut when the sovereign heard, he was wroth, and sent out his soldiers, destroyed those murderers, and set their city on fire. 8 âThen he said to his servants, âThe wedding feast, indeed, is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. 9 âTherefore go into the street corners, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding feast.â 10 âAnd those servants went out into the street corners and gathered all whom they found, both wicked and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests. 11 âAnd when the sovereign came in to view the guests, he saw there a man who had not put on a wedding garment, 12 and he said to him, âFriend, how did you come in here not having a wedding garment?â And he was speechless. 13 âThen the sovereign said to the servants, âBind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him out into the outer darkness â there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.â 14 âFor many are called, but few are chosen.â1 Footnote:1See 20:16.
You will notice that in verse 7 Yehovah sends His armies to destroy those who killed and abused the saints He has sent to invite them to His Sons wedding. So just before those war years those doing the inviting are attacked and killed.
Those war years according to the Sabbatical cycles start in 2017 and go to 2023. What this means is that we are now in those years when we will be killed for inviting our brethren to the wedding Feast of Sukkot.
It is with this in mind that the next two articles are stunning. Absolutely stunning. But it also ties right into the lead article we posted above where The comments from Sheik ‘Adel Shehato, a senior leader with the Egyptian Islamic Jihad terrorist group, threatens to slaughter all Christians and other infidels who do not submit to Islam.
Anarchy breaks out in South Africa: In what looked like an open declaration of war, thousands of unruly Youth League members stormed the entrance of the ruling African National Congress (anc) headquarters in downtown Johannesburg on Tuesday. This massive riot was an anarchic show of backing for embattled Youth League leader Julius Malema, who was being tried in an anc disciplinary hearing over comments he made earlier this month concerning anc support for a political coup in Botswana. As angry Malema supporters harassed journalists and hurled rocks, the South African police force fired stun grenades and water cannons in an attempt to contain the crowd. One group of protesters told the news media that they would make the situation in South Africa âworse than Libyaâ if the hearing decision did not âcome out the right way.â With calls to nationalize mines and seize white-owned farms, Malema has caught the imagination of thousands of radical black youth. By fanning the flames of racial tension, the leader of the anc Youth League has brought South Africa to the brink on anarchy and race war.
Then I read this and I was shocked.
Genocide Watch Upgrades South Africa to Risk Level Six
The independent watchdog organization Genocide Watch recently upgraded the genocide warning for the white population in South Africa from a level five to a level six. According to a paper by Genocide Watch President Gregory Stanton titled âThe Eight Stages of Genocide,â risk level six is the level just before mass exterminations commence. Up until August 20 of this year, Genocide Watch categorized the white population in South Africa as being at a level-five risk of genocide. That determination was largely made because native blacks have been killing Afrikaner farmers at an alarming rate.
Indeed, more white farmers were murdered in South Africa during 2009 alone than have been killed in Zimbabwe since Robert Mugabe came to power. Since the end of apartheid, over 3,000 white farmers have been murdered, according to the bbc. This figure amounts to almost 7 percent of the total population of white farmers in South Africa.
The recent upgrade to genocide risk level six was made in light of recent calls by the firebrand youth leader of the African National Congress (anc) to seize, without compensation, white-owned farms and businesses. Many political observers believe that anc seizures of white-owned farms and businesses could spark violent clashes between whites and blacks.
Youth leader Julius Malema and other prominent anc politicians have done little to allay such fears by routinely singing such xenophobic songs as the Zulu militaristic anthem âDubuli âBhunuâ (âShoot the Boerâ).
Genocide Watch labels genocide risk level six as âPreparation,â the stage just before level-seven âExtermination.â It is described in the following paragraph: âVictims are identified and separated out because of their ethnic or religious identity. Death lists are drawn up.
Members of victim groups are forced to wear identifying symbols. Their property is expropriated. They are often segregated into ghettos, deported into concentration camps, or confined to a famine-struck region and starved. At this stage, a Genocide Emergency must be declared. âŚâ
Gregory Stanton writes: âJulius Malema must be removed as leader of the anc Youth League. He is a violent Marxist-racist.â Clearly, South Africa is a nation bubbling over with racial tension and swiftly proceeding down the road toward Zimbabwe-style politics. Sadly, if the warnings coming from Genocide Watch are right, the same road could lead to Rwanda-style genocide.

The Rwandan Genocide was the 1994 mass murder of an estimated 800,000 people in the small East African nation of Rwanda. Over the course of approximately 100 days (from the assassination of JuvĂŠnal Habyarimana and Cyprien Ntaryamira on April 6) through mid-July, over 500,000 people were killed, according to a Human Rights Watch estimate. Estimates of the death toll have ranged between 500,000 and 1,000,000, or as much as 20% of the country’s total population. It was the culmination of longstanding ethnic competition and tensions between the minority Tutsi, who had controlled power for centuries, and the majority Hutu peoples, who had come to power in the rebellion of 1959â62 and overthrown the Tutsi monarchy.
Brethren have you even prepared for this? How are all you food storing plans going to work out now? What are your plans now? I have been telling you for sometime what to do, the question is will you now return to Israel? Yes it looks scary too but Yehovah has told us to return to our home. Yes the obstacles to going there are huge but that does not stop Him from telling us to come home. Or you can wait and see if He will protect you where you are. If youâre wrong youâre dead. Look at your loved ones when you make the decision either way.
Prophecy if rolling along and Yehovah wants those who love Him out of the way of danger. Will you once again consider supporting our efforts to purchase a farm in Israel? We will all need a place we can go to. We need thousands of dollars to make this happen. Will you it consider now in light of what is happening in the world now.

Ex 32
With Moses gone for almost a month and a half, the people quickly became disoriented and asked Aaron to give them another god-symbol to lead them. Interestingly, they still seem to have viewed this idol as a representation of the Eternal (verses 4-5). God, however, saw it otherwise, saying that they “worshiped it and sacrificed to it” (verse 8) rather than “to Me.” With all God had done for them, it is amazing how quickly they forgot His commandsâand dismissed Moses as if he were a fraud. The apostle Paul even warns us to learn from what they did and not do the same thing (1 Corinthians 10).
Another incredible aspect of this whole affair is Aaron’s part. It seems almost stupefying that he would consent to itâand seemingly so readily. When the people approached Aaron with the suggestion to make an idol that they could worship, it was he who told them to give him their golden earrings. It was then Aaron who formed and shaped the idolatrous object. Perhaps Aaron himself had begun to wonder what had become of Moses. It is likely that he viewed the people’s “request” as an implicit threatâwhich it probably wasâthat if he didn’t go along with what they wanted, the consequences would be dire. Aaron likely feared for his own safety and that of his family if he opposed the movement underway. He should have shown more stamina and trust in God, but he went along. To top it off, rather than face up to his responsibility, he told Moses a ridiculous lie (verse 24). In any case, there was certainly a failure of leadership at a high level. This too should be a lesson for all of us. No matter who we are, no matter how much we have seen God do in our lives, we can be led astray if we aren’t constantly on guard spiritually.
Concerning the Israelites’ chosen object of idolatry, they were well acquainted with Egyptian calf worship, detailed in the discussion of the plagues. It’s not surprising that they would choose a calf as a symbol of their worship, because it was common in the Egyptian culture in which they had been immersed for many generations. Centuries later the Israelite king Jereboam would fashion similar idols (1 Kings 12:28) after being banished to Egypt (11:40), and this idolatrous worship would remain prevalent throughout most of the time of the northern kingdom of Israel. Among the Canaanites, the bull was also seen as an embodiment of Baal. Perhaps the widespread worship of oxen in paganism, as in India today, has been directly inspired by Satan, as his main faceâhim being a cherubâis that of an ox (compare Ezekiel 10:14; 1:7-10).
“The bull was revered throughout the ancient Near East as the symbol of fertility” (Jonathan Kirsch, Moses: A Life, 1998, p. 264). It may have been the fertility connection involved in this idolatrous worship that stimulated some of the Israelities to become involved in sexual “play” (verse 6). The Expositor’s Bible Commentary has this to say about verse 6: “The verb sahaq signifies drunken, immoral orgies and sexual play (‘conjugal caresses’)” (1990, Vol. 2, p. 478). In reaching this level, the unseemly episode had probably gone way beyond what Aaron had agreed to or perhaps even imagined. We read earlier that the apostle Paul compared sin to leavening (1 Corinthians 5:8). He even used an example to show that sin, like leaven, can spread to affect more and more people unless it is stopped in its tracks (verses 1-7). The incident with the golden calf seems like a classical case of allowing some leaven in and, as is the proclivity of leaven, before long the leaven had permeated insidiously. We need not necessarily think that the entire congregation of Israel had degenerated into extensive sexual immorality, but it was widespread enough that God told Moses, “Your people whom you have brought out of the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves” (verse 7)âeffectively disassociating Himself from the Israelites.
Though God forgave Israel’s sinâincluding that of Aaronâthey paid a costly fee for such gross violation of God’s law. Moses told the Levites to take their swords and begin to slay the people. About 3,000 were killed (verse 28). Those who were slain may have been among the ringleaders or those who pushed things to an extreme once the partying started. Verse 35 states that God plagued the people because of the golden calf incident. This may be a reference to the slaying of the 3,000, or it may refer to an additional, unspecified punishment. The lesson that rings loud and clear from all this is that sin exacts a penalty. There is no exception to this principle.
On the front cover of the Magezine Der Spegal when Europe began to come together they depicted a picture of a woman riding on a Bull. This comes from the legend of Europa.
Europa was the beautiful daughter of the Phoenician king of Tyre, Agenor. Zeus, the King of the gods according to Greek mythology, saw Europa as she was gathering flowers by the sea and immediately fell in love with her.
Overwhelmed by love for Europa, Zeus transformed himself into the form of a magnificent white bull and appeared in the sea shore where Europa was playing with her maidens. The great bull walked gently over to where Europa stood and knelt at her feet. The appearance and movements of the bull were so gentle that Europa spread flowers about his neck and dared to climb upon his back overcoming her natural fear of the great animal.
But suddenly, the bull rushed over the sea abducting Europa. Only then the bull revealed its true identity and took Europa to the Mediterranean island of Crete. There, Zeus cast off the shape of the white bull, and back into his human form, made Europa his lover beneath a simple cypress tree. Europa became the first queen of Crete and had by Zeus three sons: King Minos of Crete, King Rhadamanthus of the Cyclades Islands, and, according to some legends, Prince Sarpedon of Lycia. She later married the king of Crete, who adopted her sons, and she was worshiped under the name of Hellotis in Crete, where the festival Hellotia was held in her honour. At last, Zeus reproduced the shape of the white bull, used by Zeus to seduce Europa, in the stars. Even today we can recognize its shape in the constellation Taurus.

We know from revelation that this woman this great apostate church rides a Beast which is symbolic of the government Nimrod began way back in the days shortly after the flood. It is that system that the Bull represents and it that Bull that was the symbol of Nimrod rebelliousness that Egypt incorporated as well as Babylon and now Europe at this the end of this age.
Rev 17:3 And he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast covered with names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
Isaiah 63-65
God is pictured as returning from battle with Edom, Bozrah (See last chapter of The Prophecies of Abraham concerning Bozrah) being the chief city of Edom. This ties in with many prophecies of Edom’s destruction at Christ’s return. Indeed, Obadiah states that there will be no Edomites left alive during Christ’s reign (Obadiah 18). Yet, in context here, Edom seems to be used as a general representation of Israel’s enemies since God mentions treading down the “peoples” (verses 3, 6). As was explained in the comments on Obadiah and Isaiah 34, there may be a connection between Edom and the future Babylon, the preeminent national foe of the end timeâthat is, a significant portion of Edomites may end up being part of this system.
Christ’s garments are stained with blood because of the vengeance He has taken on the enemies of His people, something He has had to take care of by Himself since no one was found to help Him (verses 1-6). The winepress imageryâsqueezing out the “blood” of grapesâas a figure of judgment can also be found in Joel 3:13, Lamentations 1:15, Revelation 14:17-20 and 19:15.
Then, in a moving description, Isaiah tells of the loving-kindness (Hebrew hesed, “covenant faithfulness” or “steadfast love”) God has for His people, in spite of their depraved behavior (Isaiah 63:7). God is quoted as saying: “Surely they are My people, children who will not lie” (verse 8; see Exodus 24:7). He is pictured as trusting their honesty in remaining faithful to Him as they had promised, and He helped them in all their trials. Their rebellion grieved Him tremendously, yet God still remembers the old days fondly. And Isaiah reminds God of this in His appeal for mercy and help.
God putting “His Holy Spirit within them” in Isaiah 63:11 can also be translated as God putting “his Holy Spirit within him” (KJV and J.P. Green’s Literal Translation)âthat is, within Moses, who is mentioned earlier in the same verse. Indeed, this must be the case since God’s Spirit was not given to the Israelites as a whole.
Israel’s prayer for mercy and deliverance is continued in chapter 64. Verse 4 is quoted by Paul in describing the ignorance of those who crucified Jesus, not understanding the wisdom of God, and explaining that we, however, can understand through His Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:6-11).
In Isaiah 64:6, the people confess that their own righteousness’sâthat is, their attempts to obey Him without His spiritual help and their living by what they themselves consider righteousness as opposed to true righteousnessâare as worthless and repulsive as “filthy rags.” Says the JFB Commentary, “lit[erally] a ‘menstruous rag'” (note on verse 6). Or The Nelson Study Bible: “Garments stained during menstruationâŚmaking a woman unclean (Lev. 15:19-24; Ezek. 36:17)” (note on verse 6). Paul describes Israel’s dilemma in this regard in Romans 10:1-3âand explains in the following verses that the answer they need is Christ for righteousness. That is, they need the justification that comes through His sacrifice and the ongoing obedience that comes from His living in peopleâas He transforms them as a potter does clay (Isaiah 64:8). Isaiah is able to see, through the visions God has given him, the eventual destruction of Jerusalem, including the temple: “Our holy and beautiful temple, where our fathers praised You, is burned up with fire” (Isaiah 64:11). It was something very distressing to him, and added to his emotional turmoil.
Verse 1 begins God’s answer to Isaiah’s entreaty that concludes with 64:12. The Israelites seek God but don’t find Him because of their rebellion against Him. Instead, God is found by others. The first two verses of chapter 65 contain some phrases quoted by Paul in his discourse regarding the future restoration of Israel (Romans 10:20, 21). Verse 1, where God mentions “a nation that was not called by My name” is referring, according to the apostle Paul, to gentile converts grafted into Israel spiritually that God uses to provoke the natural Israelites to jealousy (Romans 10:19; see Romans 11).
The verses that follow in Isaiah 65 then refer to the rebellious people of Israel, who would not respond to God’s appeal and outstretched hands. Some of the rebellious actions of the people are describedâpractices of those who have forsaken God’s true religion. While some of the actions mentioned may have applied literally in Isaiah’s day, it is likely that the sins here have some application for our time. In verse 3, sacrificing in gardens could simply refer to worshiping in pagan sanctuaries, i.e. false Christian worship places. Incense is symbolic of prayers in Scripture and could here signify prayer in false worship. In verse 4, sitting among the graves and tombs could refer to vigils and candle burning still carried out in segments of modern Christendom for the dead. Or it could refer to sĂŠances and other occultism. The eating of unclean food such as pork (verse 4; 66:17) is replete throughout the nations of modern Israel today. And the “holier than thou” attitude of Isaiah 65:5 is all too common. In verse 11, the people honor Gad and Meniâthe pagan deities Fortune (or Luck) and Destiny (or Fate). Consider how many rely on luck and fate even today. God pronounces His determination to punish His rebellious people.
But He will not destroy them all, throwing the good grapes out with the bad (verse 8), for His “elect” and His “servants” of Israel will inherit and dwell in the land (verse 9). Sharon (verse 10), in the west, is the coastal plain between the modern cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa. The Valley of Achor (see Joshua 7:24-26), in the east is near the plain of Jericho. Thus, the whole land is meant. Throughout this section, a contrast is made between the rebellious people and God’s “servants.”
The new heavens and new earth (verse 17) are mentioned by John in Revelation 21:1 as coming at the time the New Jerusalem descends to earth. Yet here in Isaiah 65, the time described is one in which human beings still live on the earth in the flesh (verses 21-25; see also chapter 66:22-24).
How, then, are we to understand this? It would seem that the millennial reign of Christ will experience a measure of a renewed creationâin anticipation of the ultimate new heavens and new earth that will follow man’s final judgment. Indeed, the millennial picture of peace in nature and among people (Isaiah 65:25) is repeated from Isaiah 11:6-9. And all of this will continue over into the last judgment period immediately following the 1,000 years of peace (see Revelation 20:11-15). Indeed, some see verse 20 as an indication that this time of judgment will last 100 years.
Proverbs 3
The third exhortation of the book’s prologue (3:1-35) begins with strong encouragement to obey God’s commandments (verse 1) and adopt his character of “mercy and truth” (verse 3; compare Psalm 100:5) the “grace and truth” that was also the character of Jesus Christ (John 1:14). “The command to ‘bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart’ [Proverbs 3:3; compare 6:20-21] further indicates that the character of the student is in view rather than just his behavior. Some have suggested that the binding of love to the neck means that it is here a kind of necklace that beautifies the individual. But the parallel between ‘neck’ and ‘heart’ here implies that fidelity is more than an ornament to the neck [as in 1:9]. The neck houses the throat which, in Hebrew anthropology, is the very life of the person. Love and faithfulness are to become part of the student’s heart and life” (New American Commentary, note on verses 1-4).
Verses 5-8 then give us crucial aspects of true wisdom. A person could know a lot on a human level and yet not truly “get it” in the whole scheme of things. Indeed, this characterizes the wisdom and understanding of the world in general. It is critical to not ultimately trust in oneself. Rather, we must look first and foremost to God for proper guidance in life. We must overcome the tendency to see ourselves as the final arbiter of what is right and instead develop a proper fear of God, which is the beginning of true knowledge and wisdom. This will be to our ultimate good. While verse 8 can be understood to include mental and spiritual health, it is interesting that it speaks specifically of physical health benefits, as does 4:22.
Verses 9-10 tell us to put our money where our mouth is, so to speak. This is a real test of how much we are willing to put God first in our lives and look to Him to take care of us. How we choose to spend our money and our time tells a great deal about our character. If we do our part, God will richly bless us. This is not a promise of immediate material riches but of God providing us with all our needs. Of course, in His Kingdom we will inherit all things.
We are then told to accept correction or discipline from God in verses 11-12, a passage cited in Hebrews 12:5-6. “While the idea of punishment is certainly present (cf. Job 5:17-18 and 2 Sam 7:14), ‘discipline’ primarily involves teaching or training rather than punishment for wrongdoing. It is analogous to military training, in which, although the threat of punishment is present, even stern discipline is not necessarily retribution for offenses. Hardship and correction are involved, however, which are always hard to accept” (NAC, note on Proverbs 3:5-12).
Of course, God is not an uncaring drill sergeant. As these verses emphasize, discipline is “exercised in a family setting. The emotion conveyed is not anger or disgust, but love and active concern. A father disciplines his child to help her grow into a praiseworthy adult. Just so God disciplines those who trust Him to help us grow toward moral and spiritual maturity. Bible history and proverbs both demonstrate that at times punishment, a ‘rod of correction’ (Prov. 29:15) is the best way to show love when people will not respond to verbal guidance. The important thing to remember, as these verses emphasize, is that when God disciplines it is because of, and with a continuing attitude of, love” (Lawrence Richards, The Bible Reader’s Companion, 1991, note on 3:11-12). Discipline here, it should be further noted, also has the sense of instruction training, as mentioned above.
In a hymn to wisdom in verses 13-18 it is stressed that wisdom is the true wealth to be sought after (compare 2:4; 8:10-11). Through taking hold of it and holding on to it, we experience “a tree of life” (3:18) which some see as merely denoting enjoyment and sustenance but which probably harkens back to the original tree of life in the sense of a way to return to paradise and escape the curse of death on mankind. True wisdom from God will indeed lead to eternal life and bliss.
Verses 19-20, appended to the hymn to wisdom, present wisdom’s role in creation, anticipating a fuller exposition in 8:22-31. “The main point there and here is that whoever abandons wisdom runs against the very structure by which the world was made” (NAC, note on verses 19-20) and by which it is ruled on a cosmic level, the breaking up of the depths referring to the great Flood. “The world is both nurturing and dangerous. Yet creation itself is under the hand of God, and he governs according to wisdom. Wisdom is therefore essential for survival” (same note).
Through God we can and should avoid living in fear (verses 23-26). We are to help others when we can and not seek to harm (verses 27-30). And we are to reject the ways of oppression and foolish scorn, being instead just and humble (verses 31-35). Verse 34 is quoted in James 4:6.
The latter half of this chapter has parallels with the first half of the next chapter, as we will see.
Acts 2
What does the Bible say about speaking in tongues?
Speaking in tongues, a miracle of communication mentioned in the New Testament, has often been misunderstood and misused.

Many have asked what the Bible says about speaking in tongues.
What many churches call “speaking in tongues” today is nothing like what the Bible records in the books of Acts and Corinthians. The miracle that occurred on the Day of Pentecost in A.D. 31 (Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Set-apart Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them to speak. 5 Now in Yerushalayim there were dwelling Yehud?im, dedicated men from every nation under the heaven. 6 And when this sound came to be, the crowd came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying to each other, âLook, are not all these who speak Galileans? 8 âAnd how do we hear, each one in our own language in which we were born? ) was one of communicationâapparently both in the speaking and the hearing. The Greek word translated “tongues” is glossa and means “languages.” The miracle of speaking in tongues meant that every member of the audience could hear in his or her native tongue (language, see verses Act 2:9 âParthians and Medes and ?ylamites, and those dwelling in Aram Naharayim, both Yehud?ah and Kappadokia, Pontos and Asia, 10 both Phrygia and Pamphulia, Mitsrayim and the parts of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Yehud?im and converts, 11 âCretans and Arab?s, we hear them speaking in our own tongues the great deeds of Elohim.â ).
Also, some in the early Church, particularly in Corinth, had the ability to speak in different languages. In that case, it seems that people were showing off their abilities, speaking every language they could, regardless of whether the people who heard them could understand. They were caught up in their vanity, having lost sight of the fact that one should always use spiritual gifts to serve others. Paul wrote chapter 14 of 1 Corinthians specifically to deal with this problem. He pointed out that the proper use of the gift of languages would be to speak the language or languages that the congregation could understand. It would be like speaking Spanish to a Spanish-speaking audience or French to a French-speaking audience.
Paul reminded the Christians in Corinth that speaking different languages was of no real value if an audience could not understand the words. He admonished them to concentrate more on understandable communication than on their linguistic abilities.
All biblical examples of speaking in tongues stand in stark contrast to the type of “speaking in tongues” done in some churches today, where the speaker utters a “language” that sounds like gibberish, not an actual human language.
In other letters, Paul and John warn Christians not to be taken in by spiritual-appearing phenomena, indicating that demon spirits sometimes imitate spiritual gifts in an attempt to confuse people (1Ti 4:1 But the Spirit distinctly says that in latter times some shall fall away from the belief, paying attention to misleading spirits, and teachings of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having been branded on their own conscience, 3 forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods which Elohim created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
1Jn 4:1 Beloved ones, do not believe every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of Elohim, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of Elohim: Every spirit that confesses that ????? Messiah has come in the flesh is of Elohim, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that ????? Messiah has come in the flesh is not of Elohim. And this is the spirit of the anti-messiah which you heard is coming, and now is already in the world.).
Again in this chapter of Acts we are told of the many who would repent. This is the first step to coming into His presence. Once we have repented of living the wrong way and of not keeping His Torah we are to be baptized. For some this is also known as Mikveh which was done on regular basis.

(535) Do not put frankincense on it. âHe shall bring the offering required for her, one-tenth of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil on it and put no frankincense on it, because it is a grain offering of jealousy, an offering for remembering, for bringing iniquity to remembrance.â (Numbers 5:13-15) A continuation of the previous mitzvah, here we see that just as oil was not to be applied to a âgrain offering of jealousy,â neither was frankincense to be sprinkled upon it, as was the usual case for a minha. Frankincense, youâll recall, indicated purity through sacrifice, specifically, our purity in Godâs eyes through the sacrifice of His atoning Lamb, Yahshua. If we have already been made pure, no further sacrifice is needed, but if we have given ourselves to Satan in a spiritually adulterous relationship, Yahshuaâs sacrifice will do us no good. Itâs scary and sobering when God says of His Spirit and of His Sonâs sacrifice, âDonât bother. You canât use them.â The very thought should shake us to the core. Or should I say, âshould have shaken us…â
Godâs plan of redemption will take 7,000 years to unfold. Each millennial milestone (spaced at precise 980-year intervals from the Adamâs creation.) marks a significant landmark: Adamâs fall, Noahâs flood, Abrahamâs intended sacrifice of Isaac, the building of the temple, the Passion of the Messiah, the year-1033 event Iâm about to explain, and finally, the commencement of Yahshuaâs Millennial reign. What happened in 1033? Yahweh, the jealous Husband of Israel, and Yahshua, the Bridegroom of the Ekklesia, put us to the Numbers 5 test, and we were found unfaithful.
In 1033, you see, Jerusalem suffered a huge earthquake. As a result, the cityâs sole water source, the Gihon Spring, turned septic, a condition that persisted for the next forty years. It became the âwater of bitternessâ with which the suspected adulteress was to be tested: âThe priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel, and take some of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle and put it into the water.â The Gihon Spring was literally the âholy water in an earthen vesselâ that received âthe dust on the floor of the tabernacle,â for it lies in the very shadow of the temple mount. âThen the priest shall stand the woman before Yahweh, uncover the womanâs head, and put the offering for remembering in her hands, which is the grain offering of jealousy. And the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that brings a curse. And the priest shall put her under oath, and say to the woman, âIf no man has lain with you, and if you have not gone astray to uncleanness while under your husbandâs authority, be free from this bitter water that brings a curse. But if you have gone astray while under your husbandâs authority, and if you have defiled yourself and some man other than your husband has lain with youââthen the priest shall put the woman under the oath of the curse, and he shall say to the womanââYahweh make you a curse and an oath among your people, when Yahweh makes your thigh rot and your belly swell; and may this water that causes the curse go into your stomach, and make your belly swell and your thigh rot.ââ (Numbers 5:17-22)
The bitter waters of the Gihon Spring not only drove out the last of the Jews from the region (due to rabbinic superstition and Muslim greed), but also poisoned thousands of Catholic pilgrims. Both Israel and the Church were thus found to have âgone astray to uncleanness while under [their] husbandâs authority.â But a glimmer of hope is held out for the faithful remnant. The Church of this period was addressed by the risen Yahshua: âTo the angel of the church in Thyatira write, âThese things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.ââ So much for the encouragement. ââNevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.â Heâs talking about spiritual adultery. âAnd I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.â Itâs an individual matter: not everyone in Thyatira failed the test. âNow to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden. But hold fast what you have till I come. And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations.â (Revelation 2:18-26) Itâs not too late to repent. But if we have been giving our affections to false godsâof any descriptionâwe must turn around and face Yahweh. Now is the day of salvation.
Time, Place, and Attitude
Thereâs a fascinating conversation, recorded in all three synoptic Gospels, that sheds valuable light on the distinction between keeping the Law and attaining salvation. âAs he was starting out on a trip, a man came running up to Jesus, knelt down, and asked, âGood Teacher, what should I do to get eternal life?ââ Good question. One to which the whole world wants an answer.
Allow me to read between the lines a bit, to flesh out the plot a little. Yahshua and His disciples were on their way out of town, and the man (letâs call him âRich,â âcause he was), was desperate. Heâd been too distracted to visit Yahshua during His stay in that cityârunning the family business, discussing matters of significance at the city gate with the other influential men of the community, and participating in worship and study at the local synagogueâand now the young rabbi was leaving. Richardâs question had been on his mind for some time, bothering him, nagging him, worrying him. For his own peace of mind, he needed an answer, and everybody said this itinerant preacher was the guy to ask. So he ran up to Yahshua and blurted out his question.
Yahshua sized him up. Rich was well dressed, slightly out of breath, and bore an earnest, hopeful expression on his face. Remarkably, he knelt before Yahshua, though he knew Him only by reputation. A study in contrasts, this one is, Yahshua might have thought. Wealthy, but without the arrogant demeanor so common to rich men. Busy doing good things in this world, but focused on eternity. I like him! But heâs relying on observance of the Law to save himâand it canât. I need to show him where heâs going wrong.
ââWhy do you call me good?â Jesus asked. âOnly God is truly good.ââ Rich didnât know Yahshua from Adam. He was just being polite, figuring a little respect might yield an encouraging answer. So Yahshua began his revelation by gently reminding him that âgoodâ isnât a relative term as far as Yahweh is concerned. You either are or you arenâtâand none of us are truly good if Godâs righteousness isnât standing in for ours. Yahshua then set about defining what it would take to be âgoodâ in reality. For starters, âBut as for your question, you know the commandments: âDo not murder. Do not commit adultery. Do not steal. Do not testify falsely. Do not cheat. Honor your father and mother.ââ The Master was charitable, not willing to let Rich down too abruptly. He didnât mention covetousness, a test He knew Richard couldnât pass. Abstaining from making idols to worship, refraining from taking Yahwehâs name lightly, and keeping the Sabbath were all relatively easy to give lip service to in that society (though theyâre practically impossible in ours). Yahshua listed only those Commandments that, on the literal surface, any morally upright person (like Richard) could feel reasonably certain theyâd never brokenânot realizing that in Godâs eyes, hate was tantamount to murder, lust might as well be adultery, and covetousness is just as bad as actual theft.
ââTeacher,â the man replied, âIâve obeyed all these commandments since I was a child.ââ Yes, I believe you think you have, Yahshua thought. You certainly try to do the right thing, and I love you for that. But I must show you where youâve broken the Law, because you canât see it, can you? âJesus felt genuine love for this man as he looked at him. âYou lack only one thing,â he told him. âGo and sell all you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.ââ (Mark 10:17-21) You missed that one in the Ten Commandments, didnât you? Give your wealth away? Is that in there? Okay, it doesnât say this in so many words, but for Richard it loomed large, right there at the beginning of the list: âYou shall have no other gods before Me.â (Exodus 20:3) Yahshua knew, even if Richard hadnât realized it until now, that the manâs trust was in his money, not his Creator. In asking him to sell his possessions, Yahshua was telling him to turn his back on a false and deceitful godâone he wasnât even aware he was serving. And in telling Rich to âfollow Me,â Yahshua was equating Himself to âYahweh your God, who brought you…out of the house of bondage,â (Exodus 20:2) the One before whom we are to have no other gods. He was saying, âDump your false god and embrace the true OneâMe.â
The shock was too much for poor Rich. âAt this, the manâs face fell, and he went sadly away because he had many possessions.â (Mark 10:22) More to the point, he was sad because he now realized how importantâhow vitalâhis possessions were to him. Even if eternal life was at stake, he didnât think this was something he was prepared to do. At this juncture, it is appropriate to ask ourselves, quite seriously, if there is anything in our lives we would be reluctant to give up if God asked us to. Not bad things, necessarily, just things. Possessions, attitudes, the security of a job or career, the comfort of our habits or traditions. Iâm not saying that God automatically demands that we give up what we enjoy most in this life. Iâm saying the same thing David said: âDelight yourself also in Yahweh, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.â (Psalm 37:4-5) Itâs a horse-before-the-cart sort of thing: if our delight is in Yahweh, the desire of our heart will be more âface timeâ with Yahweh. But this doesnât occur in a vacuum; we have lives in this worldâaptitudes and talents, interests and gifts, duties and responsibilities. God hasnât called us to retreat from these things, like a monk in a cell. One whose delight is in Yahweh will (in my experience) be given opportunities to use both his gifts and his challenges in Yahwehâs service, just as Rich was challenged to do with his riches.
One example: I know a guy whose âdelight is in Yahwehâ who happens to be Richânot âRichard,â but wealthy with a capital R. As far as I can tell, however, he never gives money a second thought. Itâs just there, like the air he breathes. He uses itâsometimes a lot of itâin Godâs service. But his real delight is studying Godâs Wordâgetting into the nitty gritty of it, discovering new things he didnât know before. How did God give him the desires of his heart? By removing him, forcibly, even painfully, from the world of businessâsomething he was very, very good at. Does he miss his old life? Not even remotely.
Another example, this time personal: I picked up the guitar when I was a teenager, and never put it down. At one time, I considered âturning pro,â but observed that I didnât really like smoky bars (which is where working musicians most often had to earn their livelihood). Now in case you havenât noticed, my delight is in Yahweh. In the matter of the guitar, even though I havenât earned much of my living with it since I was in my early twenties, I have still been given âthe desires of my heartââI get to play praise and worship music with my friends a couple of times a week, and have counted it a privilege to do so for the past thirty or forty years. Did Yahweh ask me to give up the guitar because I enjoy it so much? No. Just the business end of itâleaving nothing left but the fun part. If it had been an impediment to my faith, however, it might have been a different story.
Using the reaction of poor Richard as an opportunity to teach His disciples (and through them, us) Yahshua noted how easy it was for the things of this worldâeven good thingsâto block our path to the Kingdom of Heaven by tempting us to rely on, or merely devote our love to, âother gods.â âJesus looked around and said to his disciples, âHow hard it is for rich people to get into the Kingdom of God!ââ I suppose He could have said, âHow hard it is for serious guitarists to get into the Kingdom of God,â or filled in the blank with whatever potential object of devotion presses your buttons. I suppose wealth is the most universal example of a stealthy âother god.â But even this was surprising to His disciples. âThis amazed them.â Why? Because they recognized wealth as a blessing, a good thing given to some of us by the hand of God. False gods were supposed to be bad things, werenât they? They fostered cruelty, arrogance, lust, or greed, didnât they? But here was a guy who was to all appearances a good man, an enthusiastic devotee of the Torah, blessed by material possessions and serious about his eternal destiny. And yet Yahshua had demonstratedâprovedâthat his very blessings were blocking the door to eternal life. In other words, the âother godsâ we had been warned against in the First Commandment could be anything, good, bad, or neutral. Nothing was to come between us and our God. And specifically, this meant that Richard was indeed a âlawbreaker,â even though he had tried his best to keep the Commandments.
It wasnât just rich people, though, who had problems with this concept. âBut Jesus said again, âDear children, it is very hard to get into the Kingdom of God. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!ââ There have been attempts to make this saying mean that rich people had to put aside their wealth in order to be saved (based on the erroneous assumption that the âneedleâ here is one of the narrow gates in a city wall, one that couldnât be entered by a camel unless the beast had been unloaded). That theory doesnât hold up to scrutiny, however, because the word for âneedleâ is the Greek âraphis,â meaning a sewing needle.
Did Yahshua really say âcamelâ? The Aramaic word that Yahshua probably usedâgamlaâmeans both âcamelâ and ârope,â since ropes were often made of camelâs hair. But you canât get a rope through the eye of a needle any more that you can a whole camel. Either way, the point was just as the disciples interpreted it: that ainât happeninâ. âThe disciples were astounded. âThen who in the world can be saved?â they asked. Jesus looked at them intently and said, âHumanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.ââ (Mark 10:23-27 NLT) Hereâs the key to the whole conundrum. Entering the Kingdom of God is impossible for men to achieveâespecially those who possess something in this life that insulates them from the worldâs woes, making the need for reliance on Godâs grace that much harder to perceive. We canât work our way in, buy our way in, or impress Yahweh with our qualifications or devotion. âIt is impossible.â The only way in is for God to bring us in. In that case, itâs not only possible to enter, we have an engraved invitation to do so.
It was not lost on the disciples that they had actually done what âRichâ had been challenged to do. They hadnât been rich, of course, but they hadnât been down and out, either. They had had businesses, homes, familiesâall of which were now taking a back seat to the calling they had embraced. Naturally, it was Peter who blurted out the obvious: âThen Peter began to mention all that he and the other disciples had left behind. âWeâve given up everything to follow you,â he said.â Well, they hadnât given up everything yet, but Yahshua knew they eventually would, suffering persecution and martyrdom for His sake. âAnd Jesus replied, âI assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, will receive now in return, a hundred times over, houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and propertyâwith persecutions. And in the world to come they will have eternal life.â Thereâs the item that our friend Richard had been so concerned aboutâeternal life. Note that once again, Yahshua ties it to our willingness to give up the good things of this life for the sake of the Kingdom of Heavenâsomething He Himself personified. Itâs not a barter agreement, howeverâa hundred-for-one deal: get âem while theyâre hot. Rather, Yahshua is describing the outcome of doing this the way the disciples hadâspontaneously, with no thought of reward, simply because it was the right thing to doâsimply because their delight was in Yahweh. This brings into focus the reason the rich manâs adherence to the Law couldnât promise eternal life (beside the fact that he hadnât really kept the Law): His Torah observance had been done out of a sense of duty, cultural tradition, and racial pride, not because He honored the God who had issued the Commandments.
Note also that Yahshua promised âpersecutionsâ along with the rewards. He, more than anyone, knew that doing the right thing for the right reason would earn us as many enemies as it would friends. If Richard had overheard Peterâs remark and Yahshuaâs reply, how would he have reacted? It would have stung a bit, and people donât like to get stung.
âBut many who seem to be important now will be the least important then, and those who are considered least here will be the greatest then.â (Mark 10:28-31 NLT) In direct contradiction to popular expectations, Yahshua described the hierarchy of heaven, or rather, described what it was not: a reflection of our status here in this life. In the Kingdom, your relative importance (indicated by the responsibility youâd be given) was determined by how faithful you were with the gifts and enlightenment youâd received as a mortal man or womanâIt wasnât the gifts youâd received, but what youâd done with them. Richard had been in a unique position to feed the poor, to alleviate suffering. He declined to do so, not trusting Yahweh to keep him from becoming one of the poor himself. His greatness among men in this life would not translate into a similarly privileged position in the next.
The disciples, on the other hand, with no more evidence of Yahshuaâs divinity than Rich had received, had given up the lives theyâd led in order to follow the man whom they believed to be the promised Messiah. Matthewâs account records that when Peter asked Him flatly what his reward would be, Yahshua gave him a straight, and surprising, answer: âAssuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.â (Matthew 19:28) Thatâs like being suddenly promoted from pauper to princeânot in terms of wealth, but in terms of authority, of responsibility. As Yahshua had said, they would gain precisely the same kinds of things they had relinquished for the sake of the Good News.
As we return to our study of the Torah, we are reminded that the purpose of the sacrificial portion of the Law was to point the way to the Messiahâto illustrate His mission and demonstrate His love. Thus keeping its precepts for their own sake is pointless. And the individual directives we receive from Yahwehâs Spirit (for instance, âGo and sell all you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heavenâ) are meaningless as well if not carried out in emulation of our Messiahâs example.
SCHEDULED SACRIFICES
(536) Offer up the regular sacrifices daily (two lambs as burnt offerings). âMy offering, My food for My offerings made by fire as a sweet aroma to Me, you shall be careful to offer to Me at their appointed time…. This is the offering made by fire which you shall offer to Yahweh: two male lambs in their first year without blemish, day by day, as a regular burnt offering. The one lamb you shall offer in the morning, the other lamb you shall offer in the evening, and one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering mixed with one-fourth of a hin of pressed oil. It is a regular burnt offering which was ordained at Mount Sinai for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh. And its drink offering shall be one-fourth of a hin for each lamb; in a holy place you shall pour out the drink to Yahweh as an offering. The other lamb you shall offer in the evening; as the morning grain offering and its drink offering, you shall offer it as an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to Yahweh.â (Numbers 28:2-8) Israel was as a nation to bring certain offerings to Yahweh at specified times. None of these were to be consumed by the priests or the worshippers. The animal sacrifices were olah, or burnt offerings, to be completely consumed on the fires of the altar, as were the minha or grain offerings that accompanied them. Likewise, the wine of the nesek drink offering was to be poured out upon the groundâno one was to drink it. âObservantâ Jews today donât observe any of thisâthey canât without a priesthood and a sanctuary. But the symbols presented are palpably obvious to us who believe in the Jewish Messiah, Yahshua: He is the Lamb. The grain is His provision for our salvation, permeated with the âoilâ of His Holy Spirit. And the wine poured out upon holy ground is the blood He shed on our behalf at Calvary. Youâd have to be blind to call yourself âTorah-observantâ and not be able to see these things.
Actually, itâs even worse than it looks at first glance for those in denial concerning these symbols. Not only does Yahweh call the burnt offerings âa sweet aromaâ to Him (i.e., something that gives Him pleasure), He says theyâre His foodâthat which sustains Him, nourishes Him, and strengthens Him. It isnât the sacrifice of His Messiah per se that does these thingsâitâs what that sacrifice makes possible: the reconciliation and redemption of people like you and me who choose to reciprocate Godâs love. Yes, I know Yahweh is omnipotent and self-existent. That doesnât mean He doesnât have needs: He hungers for our love.
(537) Offer up an additional sacrifice every Shabbat (two lambs). âAnd on the Sabbath day two lambs in their first year, without blemish, and two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with oil, with its drink offeringâthis is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, besides the regular burnt offering with its drink offering.â (Numbers 28:9-10) The lambs of the daily sacrifice were offered up one in the morning and the other in the evening, telling us that from beginning to end Yahweh is focused on providing our reconciliation. That principle is doubled on the Sabbath, for this day is symbolic of our rest in Yahweh, the final destination of His plan of redemption. The Sabbath tells us that in the end, we cannot work for our salvation. It is a giftâpaid for by the Lamb Himself.
(538) Offer up an additional sacrifice every New Moon. âAt the beginnings of your months you shall present a burnt offering to Yahweh: two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs in their first year, without blemish; three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with oil, for each bull; two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with oil, for the one ram; and one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with oil, as a grain offering for each lamb, as a burnt offering of sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh. Their drink offering shall be half a hin of wine for a bull, one-third of a hin for a ram, and one-fourth of a hin for a lamb; this is the burnt offering for each month throughout the months of the year. Also one kid of the goats as a sin offering to Yahweh shall be offered, besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.â (Numbers 28:11-15) Genesis 1:14 tells us that the âlights in the expanse of heavenâ were to function as signs. The phases of the moon are thus a constant reminder of the renewal thatâs possible through Christâs sacrifice. The first sliver of the new moon was to mark the beginning of each of Israelâs months, and with this sign were to come a group of sacrifices marking the renewal that was at hand.
By now we should be quite familiar with the sacrificial elements and what they represent. The two young bulls stand for human pride, the antithesis of spiritual awareness. The âbullsâ of temporal power and intellectual arrogance must be offered up first if the other sacrifices are to hold any significance for us. (I have reason to believe that the reason two of them are specified is because these evils exist in both Jewish and gentile camps. See Mitzvah #540 for some illuminating evidence.) The ram symbolizes the reigning MessiahâYahshua in the authority of His kingdom. Seven Lambs are also reminiscent of the Messiah, but this time the emphasis is on His innocence and the perfection and sufficiency of His sacrifice. Fine flour is metaphorical of Godâs provision of our redemptionârefined by crushing pressure, with no worthless chaff present. The oil mixed with the fine flour represents the Holy Spirit (see Zechariah 4). The wine for the drink offering is the blood of Christ (see Mark 14:23-24). And finally, a young goat is offered up as a picture of the death of sin in our lives.
All of this was to happen every month. God knows we need constant reminders of our place and His plan. (Thatâs why He calls us sheep.) One wonders if anyone between Moses and Malachi stopped to ask why these sacrifices had been commanded. It was enough, I suppose, to understand this: âThe law of Yahweh is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of Yahweh is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of Yahweh are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of Yahweh is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of Yahweh is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of Yahweh are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them Your servant is warned, and in keeping them there is great reward.â (Psalm 19:7-11) Still, twenty-twenty hindsight is a wonderful thing.
(539) Bring an additional offering on Shavuâot. âAlso on the day of the firstfruits, when you bring a new grain offering to Yahweh at your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work. You shall present a burnt offering as a sweet aroma to Yahweh: two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs in their first year, with their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for each bull, two-tenths for the one ram, and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs; also one kid of the goats, to make atonement for you. Be sure they are without blemish. You shall present them with their drink offerings, besides the regular burnt offering with its grain offering. (Numbers 28:26-31) The next few mitzvot will describe the âextraâ national offerings required on the Feasts of Yahweh. Though Moses discusses the Passover-Feast of Unleavened Bread sacrifices in verses 16-25, Maimonides forgot to mention them, sort of. You see, he thought he covered it in Mitzvah #522, but got it wrongâthat oneâs actually dedicated to the Feast of Tabernacles (see also Mitzvah #542). (Passover, youâll recall, marked the killing of the familyâs personal Lamb, which was to be eaten amid ceremony fraught with portent after sundownâthat is, on the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This feast as a national holiday lasted from Sabbath through Sabbath, and each day of the feast, national sacrifices were brought, identical to that of the new moon offerings.
Neither Moses nor Maimonides specifically mentions the Feast of Firstfruits (see Mitzvah #560, but it fell within the week-long celebration of Unleavened Bread, so the instructions are implicit.)
Here Moses discusses the national sacrifices specified for Shavuâot, or the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost). Notice that they are identical to that commemorating the new moon festivals and the Feast of Unleavened Bread-Firstfruits. Review Mitzvah #538 for a discussion of what the individual sacrificial symbols mean. Once again, we are being told to drop our pride and pretensions, accept and honor Yahshua the Messiah, be thankful for Godâs provision of salvation, mourn for the blood He shed on our account, welcome the Holy Spirit into our lives, and die to sin.
(540) Offer up an additional sacrifice on Rosh Hashanah. âAnd in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work. For you it is a day of blowing the trumpets. You shall offer a burnt offering as a sweet aroma to Yahweh: one young bull, one ram, and seven lambs in their first year, without blemish. Their grain offering shall be fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for the bull, two-tenths for the ram, and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs; also one kid of the goats as a sin offering, to make atonement for you; besides the burnt offering with its grain offering for the New Moon, the regular burnt offering with its grain offering, and their drink offerings, according to their ordinance, as a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh.â (Numbers 29:1-6) First, note that Maimonidesâ Rosh Hashanah designation is wrong. It means âhead of the year,â or âNew Yearâs Dayâ in our parlance. The first day of the first month was way back in the spring (Nisan 1), and it wasnât set apart as a mowâed miqra, one of the seven appointed Feasts of Yahweh, for it had no particular divine significance other than the fact that it was a new moon, the one prior to Passover (Nisan 14). The day Moses is talking about here is Yom Teruah, the Feast of Trumpets, the fifth miqra, first of the three autumn convocationsâand the next one weâll see fulfilled on Godâs prophetic calendar.
At first glance, the list of sacrificial animals appears the same as for the new moon festival, the Feast of Unleavened Bread/Firstfruits, and the Feast of Weeks. But on closer examination, we see one change, and it could turn out to be significant.
At issue is the number of bulls to be sacrificed. Up until the Feast of Weeks, there were two. Now, thereâs only one. As we have seen, bulls represent human power and pride leading to false doctrine, teaching, and worship. Further, since the bulls are specified as an element of worship among believers (of which Israel is symbolic in the Torah), I believe Yahweh is specifically drawing attention to false teaching within the assembly of faith. We are given ample warning that such would be the case within the Church, and history tells us that false teaching within Israel has been its constant curse practically from the beginning. So there are two flavors of âBabylon bouillabaisse,â Jewish, and gentile, and they both smell mighty fishy.
Why, then, are there two bulls until the Feast of Weeks, and only one here at the Feast of Trumpets? Itâs because (as we saw in Mitzvah #520) the assembly of believers we call the Church, though entirely Jewish at its inception, has become predominantly gentile today. During these last two millennia (since 31 AD), Yahweh has not been dealing with Israel separately as a nation, but rather has gathered together an assembly of saints in which functionally âthere is neither Jew nor Greek.â
(541) Offer up an additional sacrifice on Yom Kippur. âOn the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation. You shall afflict your souls; you shall not do any work. You shall present a burnt offering to Yahweh as a sweet aroma: one young bull, one ram, and seven lambs in their first year. Be sure they are without blemish. Their grain offering shall be of fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for the bull, two-tenths for the one ram, and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs; also one kid of the goats as a sin offering, besides the sin offering for atonement, the regular burnt offering with its grain offering, and their drink offerings.â (Numbers 29:7-11) There it is: the same list, but only one bullârepresenting Israelâs pride-driven false doctrines. Yom Kippur, or the Day of Atonement, is predictive of the day when Israelâas a nationâwill finally âget it.â Theyâll witness the return of King Yahshua to the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, and at last theyâll understand the truth: He is Yahweh in the fleshâHe is their Messiah, whom their fathers crucified. Zechariah paints the vivid picture in Chapter 12, verses 10-14.
