How do the Ten Toes Take Power?

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,

This week we are watching the hostage negotiations that have come up in the news as we draw closer to the 1335 day for our 2nd and 3rd abomination counts.

I am also going to explain what I am seeing coming out of the University pro-Hamas protests. I have been wondering how some of these things would take shape. how they are going to come about. Now it is becoming clearer. We will only know after the fact, but I believe I am looking in the right direction. These student protests are intentionally very dangerous for us around the world.

And at the same time the Abraham Accord is once again in the news. I have had to refresh my understanding of an Eye to Eye teaching by Bill Koenig. May this Newsletter be a blessing to you and yours.

Torah Portion

Torah Portions

We read through the entire Torah along with the Prophets and the New Testament, once over the course of 3 1/2 years. Or according to the Sabbatical Cycle which means we read it all twice over a 7-year period. This allows us to cover more in-depth rather than being rushed to cover as much as is covered on an annual basis. We allow all to comment and take part in the discussions.

Septennial Torah Portion

If you go to Torah Portion at our archived section, you can then go to the 7th year which is the 7th year of the Sabbatical Cycle, the one we are in now, as we state at the top of every News Letter. There you can scroll down to the proper date, and see that this Shabbat we could very well be midrashing about:

Genesis 12

Judges 3-4

Psalm 26-28

Matthew 16-17:2

We are in the 1st Sabbatical Cycle in 2024-2023. We go through the entire bible twice in a 7 year cycle. This means we cover the entire bible once every 3 1/2 years. It gives us more time to debate and discuss each portion we read.

If you missed last week’s exciting discoveries as we studied that section, you can go and watch past Shabbats on our media section.

Join Our Sabbath Meetings

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers songs and teaching from this hour. Shavuot on Sunday April 20, 2024, we will be meeting at 10 AM Eastern and then again at 1 PM Eastern.

Shabbat Services will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

Joseph Dumond is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

How do the Ten Toes Take Power?

H4581   (Strong) מָעֻז    מָעֹז    מָעוּז    מָעוֹז mâ‛ôz    mâ‛ûz    mâ‛ôz    mâ‛ûz maw-oze’, maw-ooz’, maw-oze’, maw-ooz’

From H5810; a fortified place; figuratively a defence: – force, fort (-ress), rock, strength (-en), (X most) strong (hold).

The god of fortresses is none other than the same god many around the world worship today.

Cybele (Greek Κυβέλη) was a Phrygian goddess originating in the mythology of ancient Anatolia, whose worship spread to the cities of ancient Greece and the Roman Empire. She represented the Mother Earth and was worshiped as a goddess of fertility, nature, caverns, and mountains, as well as walls and fortresses. Like other ancient goddesses, such as Gaia (the “Earth”), she was known as potnia theron, referring to her ancient Neolithic roots as “Mistress of the Animals.”freestar

The goddess was known among the Greeks as Meter (“Mother”) or Meter oreie (“Mountain-Mother”), possibly in connection to the myth that she was born on Mount Ida in Anatolia. Her Roman equivalent was Magna Mater, or “Great Mother.” Additionally, she was worshiped as a deity of rebirth in connection with her consort (and son), Attis.

Cybele is the god of fortresses, as she invented the brick used to build Babylon. She is also known as Ishtar and Mother Earth, the Queen of Heaven and today she is called the Blessed Virgin Mary.

When Daniel tells us the god his fathers knew, he is speaking of Cybele. The newest god in the world is the one founded in 700 C.E., the founder of Islam. This is the god his fathers did not know and who is going to take over and be glorified, replacing Mary worship. This also includes all the other religions that came out of the Queen of Heaven faith but still worship on the same days as they did.

Stephen, before he was killed, told us about the same gods that many worship today: Moloch and the star of your god, Remphan. The god Kiyun was worshiped among the ancient Babylonians, Arabs, Syrians, and Assyrians. Every false god had its representation, its idol. Molech was represented by a brass bull; Astarte by a tree; Dagon by a half-man, half-fish; and Kiyun by a star—the wandering “star” we know as the planet Saturn.

In short, “the star of your god Rephan,” mentioned in Acts 7:43, is a pagan god that some ancient Israelites unwisely worshiped in the wilderness. The name Rephan is an English translation of the LXX translation of the Hebrew word Kiyun. Remphan is the Queen of Heaven.

The 10 Days of Awe book, which you can buy on Amazon, goes much, much deeper on this subject.

There is only one way to escape all that is at the very door now. Just as we do at Passover we are to cross of the threshold with the blood of the lamb on the door. We are to accept the threshold covenant paid for by the blood. We are to obey the covenant and DO the commandments. Or you can deal with those people wearing the mark of the beast on their heads and arms.

If you want to read more about the Mark of the Beast or share these articles with your church or family, then just copy and paste the link below with the picture to your social media platform. We had some issues last week and we think they are all fixed now.

Hostage Deal as We Approach Day 1335

Eye To Eye

In its response to Iran,

Israel must weigh new regional cooperation – editorial

In the post-April 14 Middle East,

Israel’s security will be based on two pillars.

Iran’s massive drone and missile attack on Israel Sunday morning is a seminal event that thrust the Middle East into a new era.

For the first time in history, Iran launched an attack on Israel directly from its territory, employing drones and both cruise and ballistic missiles that have been under development for decades.

These weapons served as a crucial element of Iran’s strategic deterrence and enabled the projection of its power across the region. While Iran’s nuclear program is still evolving, its extensive missile and drone capabilities elevated it to a regional powerhouse not to be overlooked. Take away those capabilities, and Iran appears far less menacing.

The head-spinning success Israel and its allies had Sunday morning in swatting Iranian projectiles out of the sky has shown that Iran’s missile threat is not as dire and catastrophic as many thought. The ramifications of this will be felt for years in ways that may be hard to imagine today.

One way is that what happened Sunday morning might catalyze formal Israel-Saudi relations.

If indeed this is one of the unintended consequences of Iran’s attack, it will be a sweet irony, considering that one of the outcomes the ayatollahs were hoping for after Hamas’s October 7 attack was that a strong Israeli response would thwart an Israel-US-Saudi deal that was being earnestly discussed and promoted.

Though it now seems like eons ago, last September there was serious talk about a game-changing pact that would contain the following elements: The US would sign a NATO-like defense treaty with Israel and Saudi Arabia, sell state-of-the-art weaponry to the Saudis and assist in its development of a civilian nuclear program that would include the right to domestic uranium enrichment. The Saudis would normalize ties with Israel, help end the war in Yemen, and provide massive financial assistance to the Palestinians. And Israel would put a cap on settlement activity and pledge not to annex Judea and Samaria.

Soon after Biden met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the UN and discussed this plan, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman acknowledged in a stunning interview with Fox News that his country was moving “closer” each day to a normalization deal with Israel and that the process is “for the first time a real one, serious.”

A little over two weeks later, Hamas sent more than 3,000 terrorists across the border to murder, rape, kidnap, and pillage. Israel responded with justified ferocity, and all hopes of Saudi-Israeli normalization seemed shattered.

Yet they are not, and the quiet role the Saudis played in helping Israel and the US thwart Iran’s missile attack is proof of that.

According to a report Monday in The Wall Street Journal, Saudi Arabia was one of the countries in the region that quietly agreed to share intelligence with the US about an impending Iranian attack.

According to the report, Iranian officials briefed officials from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries on the outline of their attack two days before, allowing them to safeguard their airspace.

As part of a regional air-defense system the US has painstakingly created over the last few years, this information was shared with the US, giving Washington and Jerusalem crucial advanced warning, though the Saudis did not give the US and Israel use of their airspace to intercept the missiles and drones. Jordan did grant that permission and even participated in downing some of the drones.

Such security cooperation with the Saudis – albeit not complete – would have been unimaginable a decade ago and is something that needs to be built upon to re-energize talk of a three-way Israel-Saudi-US deal once the Gaza war ends.

The two pillars on which Israel’s security stands

In the post-April 14 Middle East, Israel’s security will be based on two pillars. The primary pillar is its might and deterrence, which necessitates a robust response to Iran’s brazen attack.

The second pillar is a regional defense architecture that is still a work in progress but whose benefits were already evident in Sunday’s early hours.

To ensure the success of this regional architecture, Israel must now carefully weigh its response to Iran, ensuring that it does not undermine this regional cooperation, which, in the darkness currently enveloping the Middle East, is one flicker of hopeful light.

Saudi Arabia says it helped defend Israel against Iran — report

Many of the drones and missiles had to travel over Jordanian and Saudi airspace to reach Israel.

Saudi Arabia acknowledged that it had helped the newly forged regional military coalition — Israel, the United States, Jordan, the United Kingdom, and France — repel an Iranian attack against the Jewish state early Sunday morning, according to a story on KAN News. The story spoke of the Saudi involvement in the military defensive operation in which 99% of the Iranian drones and missiles were destroyed before hitting their targets. Many of the drones and missiles had to travel over Jordanian and Saudi airspace to reach Israel.

Four large tornado outbreaks occurred during the month, producing 86, 35, 45, and at least 123 tornadoes, respectively, along with some isolated activity on other days, including a rare tornado in Alaska during the middle of the month. The month was, therefore, much above average with 297 tornadoes, the second most on record in April behind the extraordinarily active April 2011.

Then as we begin May 2024, Saudi suffers massive flooding.

Flash flooding has devastated parts of Saudi Arabia this week with shocking footage showing cars being swept away by the deluge as roads were submerged amid torrential downpours.

Clips shared on social media showed how major highways in the Kingdom were overrun by devastating floodwater that cascaded down typically dry and rocky outcrops and swept through cities and towns below.

Residents were seen abandoning their cars in the street to run to safety in Qassim – one of the worst hit areas, as other partially submerged vehicles tried to plough through feet of standing water.

Screams Before Silence

Screams Before Silence

There are not enough words. You must watch this video. Everything we haver shared in this Newsletter shows the ignorance of the universities and those leading the protests. You must share this video. Those protesting will become the next victims of Hamas.

  1. Jayson

So much to think about after reading this newsletter. I don’t even know where to start or what to say except to cry out to Yehovah and say “Hoshana, hoshana!!!” I’ve tried watching the Screams Before Silence video twice now and have managed to get about 2/3 the way through it before I can’t take anymore.

As I write this comment, I can’t help but think of Psalms 30. I encourage everyone to take a moment and read it; perhaps, its speaking to such an event. Part of this chapter says, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. I CRIED to you, Yehovah, and unto Yehovah I made supplication. Shema Yehovah, and have mercy upon me; Yehovah, be my Helper. Thou has turned for me my mourning into dancing; Thou has put off my sackcloth and girded me with gladness. To that end my glory will sing praise unto You, and NOT BE SILENT. O Yehovah, my Elohim, I will give thanks unto You forever.”

It’s hard to see the prophetic “joy that comes in the morning” when watching that video but, I have faith in Yehovah. Hoshana, hoshana, hoshana!!!

  2. Bob Barth

And how I have observed these travesties beginnings? All being touted and used as a tool? The word “love”. Is that word not descriptive and prescriptive of one of Yehovahs motive and powers!? The bastardized use of this word equaling acceptance regardless of ideology, inclusion, unity, fairness, dare I say one world togetherness?! As if this worlds (adversary) wisdom supersedes our Creators plan. “We” as one, are now the ultimate gods of love, wisdom and fairness. All the while operating unknowingly under our adversaries plan. Delusional have they become. Clinging to the hope of their worldly religions, the love which is governed by this worlds delusion, negating the wisdom, power and glory of the very God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob whom will laugh at their calamity and distress! They scorn His loving plans, His covenant which He made with His people. My utter sadness at these times being filled with the Joy of His salvation as we continue to worship and serve the very Almighty in absolute control of His blessings and curses as they are being poured out! Shalom to those who have chosen to serve our Creator and His covenant!
