Shabbat Shalom Brethren,

Last week we all heard of the tragedy in Haiti.  Many have asked why.  Others are asking why the severe winter weather in the USA, England, Europe and Asia?  Why the super high temperatures in Australia?  I was wondering why Haiti has suffered so much over the years.

The simple answer is they are not, and we are not, obeying Yahweh.

Roman Catholicism is the official religion of Haiti, but voodoo may be considered the country’s national religion. The majority of Haitians believe in and practice at least some aspects of voodoo.  Most voodooists believe that their religion can coexist with Catholicism.  Most Protestants, however, strongly oppose voodoo.

Misconceptions about voodoo have given Haiti a reputation for sorcery and zombies.  Popular images of voodoo have ignored the religion’s basis as a domestic cult of family spirits.  Adherents of voodoo do not perceive themselves as members of a separate religion; they consider themselves Roman Catholics.  In fact, the word for voodoo does not even exist in rural Haiti.  The Creole word vodoun refers to a kind of dance, and in some areas, to a category of spirits. Roman Catholics who are active voodooists say that they “serve the spirits,” but they do not consider that practice as something outside of Roman Catholicism.  Haitians also distinguish between the service of family spirits and the practice of magic and sorcery.

The belief system of voodoo revolves around family spirits (often called loua or mistè) who are inherited through maternal and paternal lines.  This then led me to take a look at the Creole religion: http://caribbean-guide.info/past.and.present/religion/creole/

These Creole religions were most often practiced on French and Spanish islands where Roman Catholicism was the religion of the whites.  The two best-known forms of these Creole religions are Vodou (Voodoo and Vodun are common spellings) and Santería (also called Regla de Ocha).

After reading this, I went to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louisiana_Creole_people to learn more about the Creole people, who are a sizable population in Louisiana.  I then begin to realize that New Orleans is in Louisiana and Creole is part of its heritage. Could this explain why Katrina hit there with such a vengeance?  Is this why the Haitians have suffered so much over the years, because of the god they serve, the loua or mistè?  It is all something to think about.

If you are obeying Yahweh then He will be your shield. If not then the one you are obeying can protect you….or not.

Before I move on to this week’s study I have one more thing to share with you.

I have been warning you all of the curses of Lev 26 which are to come upon us and the world in a certain and specific order. That order is determined by the Sabbatical Cycle, and this is why I have been constantly talking about it. The first seven years represented and proved to be years when Terrorism would be the main news item. This comes from Lev 26:14, next was the severe weather and drought which dominated the news for the next seven years. Worst drought in 1000 years in Australia, worst Hurricanes and Cyclones, worst wild fires ever in Australia and the USA, the most Tornadoes in one day and the most Tornadoes in one year in the USA, and some of the worst flooding in many parts of the world.

The third curse is about to begin. It includes the first two curses from the past 14 years and now we will be seeing on the nightly news Pestilence and famines. This is what is in store for us according to Lev 26:21. But Yahshua expanded this even more for our understanding in these last days.

• Mathew 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

• Luje 21:11 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and , pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.

We enter this next 7 year cycle after the first of Aviv. Famines and Pestilences are scheduled to come, but Yahshua is telling us that earthquakes will also come during this time, and in Luke we are told of the signs from heaven that will appear. These are the blood moons during the spring and fall feast in the 5th and 6th year of this next 7 years Sabbatical Cycle; Namely 2014 and 2015.
But also notice that in Mathew Yahshua is telling us that both Nations and Kingdoms shall rise up to oppose each other. The fourth curse which is the one that comes after these next seven years is the curse of war. I explain this in great detail in the book the Prophecies of Abraham.

Those hand full of people who wrote in to tell me that the one Yahweh said was going to always sit upon David’s Throne was in heaven are ignorant of our historical ancestry. It was for people like that that I shared all these articles. But I can’t force them to read it, all I can do is provide the opportunity for them to learn. Whether or not they do is up to them.

Another false teaching is the one that tells you the USA is Babylon. Having gone through this extensive study on where the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel went since before the Exodus up to our own day, you should now know that the USA and the UK are the two sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh. Common sense should tell you that they cannot be both Israel and the Beast power that some are claiming.

Then watch the DVD at  Media Archives where we now have it on ten minute YouTube postings so you can come back and watch where you left off. But make sure you watch the whole thing so that you will know why these curses of Lev 26 are being given to the Descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel. Now that you know who they are, then those events that you see on the nightly news will begin to make complete sense. It is Yahweh giving His punishments to the people and nations He has chosen. They are punished for not obeying Him and for not doing His work. The House of Israel is punished first then the rest of the world.

1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of Yahweh; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of Yahweh?

But do not stop here. Once you understand who is who. Who Israel is and who the Beast powers are, then make sure you again read the Prophecies of Abraham. The book is about ready and I will announce it as soon as I can. When you do read it, you will see just how little time is left, and you will no longer be playing some religious game once a week.
