False teachings exposed and To tithe or not to tithe.

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Well for a number of people this weekend is the one they are keeping Shavuot on. I have tried to reason with them many times on many forums over the past few months since Passover at the end of March. Mostly on facebook.

I have told them that the Barley the day before Passover was reseeding itself. Along with Nehemiah Gordon we sent you a video of this showing that the planted and the wild Barley was already reseeding itself.

Nehemiah sent out this message for Passover.

Harvest-Ripe Barley in the Jordan Valley

This morning (Mar 30, 2010) I did a follow-up of the barley in the Jordan Valley that was Aviv on March 17. The barley in two fields, south of Nakhal Milkha and just north of the Israeli army checkpoint, was completely harvest-ripe. This means the barley harvest could officially begin this coming Sunday, the morrow after the Sabbath during the Feast of Unleavened Bread as per Deuteronomy 16:9. In Temple times, the first Omer (sheaf) of this harvest would be brought as the wave-sheaf offering commanded in Leviticus 23:10. A video of the field of 6-row planted barley south of Nakhal Milkha is posted at:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfCX5srVivI

This confirms that the Chag HaMatzot (Feast of Unleavened Bread) will begin at sunset tomorrow night, March 31, 2010.

A video showing the difference between barley and “tares” is posted at:

My thanks to Shoshanah Waterman and Joe Dumond for participating in this follow-up barley examination.

After this many other so called experts declared Nehemiah to be wrong because he was Jewish and trying to mislead those Christians and those who follow Yeshua. What a crock. What they were actually doing was trying to get people to follow after themselves. We argued with them and tried to tell them what I had seen myself in Israel because I was not Jewish. They refused to listen to the many of us who had witnessed the Barley being Aviv.

I then went back May 23 for Shavuot to see that the Wheat was already being harvested in the land of Israel. The Wheat was already being harvested.

I came home and told the readership on this News letter and many others in the various forums the same thing. Again they refused to listen. They deleted all my messages and the many messages that others had sent them to show them. They deleted the truth so that they could continue with the lie they were perpetrating on those in their circle. They did not want to hear about the Barley or the wheat.

Yahovah has shown them twice this year of 2010 by the very crops themselves when the Holy Days should be kept. They will not listen to anyone who is a witness, nor heed Yahovah’s demonstration with the crops, but instead they reason amongst themselves in order to hide the truth and to keep those they have duped into following after them.

Here is what I have said to many other groups.

Just back from the Land of Israel. A number of you kept Passover one month later than most. And you will be keeping Shavuot one month later too. Well I was there for Passover and the Barley was already starting to reseed itself. If you waited on more month as some of you did then you would have had no barley for the wave offering.

This past weekend May 23, 2010 the Wheat was already being harvested. So now our Father has shown you twice now. Once with the Barley being Aviv and now with the wheat being ready for harvest.

Those of you who continue to hold to the position for Shavuot next month are being shown again that you are wrong by our Father in Heaven by the physical crops on the ground in Israel. Repent now while you can.

We are to wave the First Fruits of the Barley and the first fruits of the wheat. Not the last fruits or the fruits that we stored away but the very first fruits!!! Time to wake up people.

I was there with Nehemiah and I saw the conditions of the fields. Many of you state that we are wrong yet you all admit that none of you were there to witness yourself; they did not see the condition of the crops.

Next year I expect to see you in the land of Israel for Passover and Shavuot and then you can tell others what conditions the barley and wheat are in.

I was there and the Barley was reseeding. Both the wild and cultivated barley. Both were ripe and ready the day before Passover.

These people have no witnesses who were on the scene yet they speak and sound like an authority. We have about 100 witnesses who went throughout the land. Yet these people deny all of their reports. Sorry those of you who are keeping Shavuot this weekend are not right on this; you and those you have misled need to repent. It is as simple as that.

In Lev 23:10 it says first fruits ( Strongs # 7225 from 7218 the head, the first in place , time order or rank. Beginning first as in the very first fruits.) for the barley harvest.

In Lev 23:17 it says first fruits.(Strongs # 1061 From 1069 which you need to read. It is the first born. 1061-first fruits of the crop. It means the first of the crops. Not the last or late or middle of the harvest, but the very first) for the wheat harvest

You do need to study your Torah more closely and not deviate to soot your own misconceptions. Again Brethren, it is time to repent before you lead any others astray. I urge all of you who are reading this to send this to those who are going to keep Shavuot this weekend. This also means they will keep the fall Holy Days one month later as well. You owe it to your brother to tell them and to show them where they are in sin.

I was then sent an email telling me about a group of heresy believers keeping a conference in Oregon. The conference begins on Sunday July 11 which they are calling the Shabbat and then they have another Sabbath on Monday. I am constantly being questioned by these people, who sit there and pretend to be just like us and then they subtlely teach us this lie. The lunar Sabbath lie.

Let me state it clearly so that there is no doubt, www.sightedmoon.com keeps the Sabbath on the 7th day of the week each Saturday and every Saturday each month. We do not subscribe to the lunar Sabbath lie at all or in the least. We abhor it as do all who can read the scriptures.

At this conference the great news was that these men had found a way to respond to the one thing that these lunar Sabbath liars could not respond to before. I would think that if you are proven wrong by the scriptures then you should repent and come back to Yahovah. Not these people. No they will not change and will find some way to change the scriptures so they do not have to change.

So what have they said? And I quote;

‘The Feast of Weeks is not the feast of 7 weekly Shabbats, but of 7 biblical weeks. Nowhere in Scripture is 7 weekly Shabbats between Firstfruits and Shavuot a requirement. We are not commanded to count 7 weekly Shabbats!

Well of course biblical weeks have nothing whatsoever to do with Roman planetary weeks honoring sky deity/planets. YHWH does not call Roman Sunday Yom Rishon-First Day and Saturn Day Yom Sehvee-Day 7. Any set of 7 days constitutes a biblical week of days! Just like in Daniel chapter 9 where a sheva, or 7, constitutes a week of 7 years without Roman names.’
The RAMYK-Apostle Rabbi Moshe Yoseph Koniuchowsky

So now you have to open up your bible and read Leviticus 23 to see what the truth really is, because this self appointed false apostle is looking to lead you astray by giving himself impressive titles And telling you lies.

1 And ???? spoke to Mosheh, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Yisra’?l, and say to them, ‘The appointed times of ????, which you are to proclaim as set-apart gatherings, My appointed times, are these: 3 ‘Six days work is done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, a set-apart gathering. You do no work, it is a Sabbath to ???? in all your dwellings. 4 ‘These are the appointed times of ????, set-apart gatherings which you are to proclaim at their appointed times.

From the time of Nimrod who lived right after the flood and was the first emperor of what would grow and became the Babylonian religion we can learn which day is the Sabbath.

They named each day of the week after one of the planets. They knew of Noah and Shem who were alive and teaching at this time. In fact Nimrod went to visit Noah at one time. Read the Gilgamesh Epic to learn more of this.

Having named each of the days of the week after the planets they came to the Seventh Day of Rest and they named this day in honour of the planet that never seemed to move in the heavens.

The seventh day of rest Saturday they named it after the planet at rest Saturn. This is where we get the name of Saturday from. Saturns-day.

The seventh day of the week is the Sabbath day of rest and always has been what we now call Saturday. The Babylonians attest to this.

Let us continue with Lev 23.

9 And ???? spoke to Mosheh, saying, 10 “Speak to the children of Yisra’?l, and you shall say to them, ‘When you come into the land which I give you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 ‘And he shall wave the sheaf before ????, for your acceptance. On the morrow after the Sabbath the priest waves it.

In verse 11 the word Sabbath here used is Strongs # 7676 and it means weekly Sabbath As shown above, this is Saturday. So the morrow after the weekly Sabbath is going to be the first day of the week, Sunday. All Christians know the first day of the week is Sunday, why? Because that is the day they believe Yahshua went up to Heaven. And on this point they are correct. He did ascend to heaven on the first day of the week. That day was the day the wave sheaf offering was made. This is what is being spoken of here in Lev 23. So most reason that because Yahshua rose to heaven on a Sunday (The wave Sheaf day)and the Holy Spirit was given on a Sunday ( Pentecost Sunday After we have counted 50 days from the wave shaef day just mentioned)that we ought to keep Sunday as the Lords Day. But as you are now reading these two Sunday events took place on Sunday because of the commandments of Lev 23 which also include other Annual Holy Days we are to keep, but the Christian community ignore the rest of this, to soot their own agenda and will not keep the Sabbath which is the first law in Lev 23 or any of the other annual Holy Days.

Continuing;

12 ‘And on that day when you wave the sheaf, you shall prepare a male lamb a year old, a perfect one, as a burnt offering to ????, 13 and its grain offering: two-tenths of an ?phah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to ????, a sweet fragrance, and its drink offering: one-fourth of a hin of wine. 14 ‘And you do not eat bread or roasted grain or fresh grain until the same day that you have brought an offering to your Elohim – a law forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

This is why you must bring the first fruits of the Barley harvest at this time. Because no one is allowed to eat the fresh grain until you have brought the offering to Yahovah. This law is FOREVER. It is not the last fruits or the fruits you have stored up for a month. It is the first fruits to the Barley harvest, before any others can take from the harvest.

15 ‘And from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, you shall count for yourselves: seven completed Sabbaths. 16 ‘Until the morrow after the seventh Sabbath you count fifty days, then you shall bring a new grain offering to ????. 17 ‘Bring from your dwellings for a wave offering two loaves of bread, of two-tenths of an ?phah of fine flour they are, baked with leaven, first-fruits to ????. 18 ‘And besides the bread, you shall bring seven lambs a year old, perfect ones, and one young bull and two rams. They are a burnt offering to ????, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, an offering made by fire for a sweet fragrance to ????. 19 ‘And you shall offer one male goat as a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old, as a peace offering. 20 ‘And the priest shall wave them, besides the bread of the first-fruits, as a wave offering before ????, besides the two lambs. They are set-apart to ???? for the priest. 21 ‘And on this same day you shall proclaim a set-apart gathering for yourselves, you do no servile work on it – a law forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations

Again the word Sabbath in verse 15 and Sabbath in verse 16 is in reference to the weekly seventh day Saturday, the Sabbath. Strongs #7676. And note in verse 21 it says that this day after the seventh Sabbath is to be proclaimed a set part day or a High Holy Day. It is called Pentecost or Shavuot.

Now compare what the scriptures says concerning the Wave offering and the counting of the seventh Sabbaths to what the Liar and self appointed false apostle Koniuchowsky above tries to tell you it says.

I am about to send you to a good article by Eliyah but first I want you to do a simple thing that even your children can do in case you the parent do not know how to count. You are told in Lev 23 to count to seven and to do that seven times. This will give you a total of 49. You are then told the day after the seventh Sabbath is the 50th day. It is the same for the counting of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. In fact Shavuot is an annual reminder of the Jubilee cycle.

The lunar Sabbath lie is this. The first day is non day. It does not count. And if the month has 30 days as some do then the 30 day does not count. It too is a non day. So when you count from the Wave sheaf day on Sunday during the Days of Unleavened Bread which is after the 14 day of Aviv, you cannot count to 50 and land on Sunday using the counting methodology these liars use. I keep saying liars because this is what they are according to John. 1 John 2:4 NKJ
He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

So counting as these liars do you would have to count the 30th day of the first month, if there was one as a non day. You would also have to count the first day of the second month as a non day too. When you get to the end of the second month again the 30th day if there was one would have to be counted as a non day and the first day of the third month would be a non day also.

So that by the time you get to the 50th day you would also have at least two or maybe three or four extra days that you had not counted. Where does this leave you? Between 52 and 54 days after the wave offering. But this is not what you are told in Lev 23.

Now try and apply this same illogical and twisted thinking and diabolical teaching to the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. Would the 30 year be a non year? Would there be other non years? If so what do you do on a non year? What do they do on a non day? Is it a non work day and if they go to work do they not get paid because that day does not count? When you see the charts in the following article count the days. Lev 23 says after the 7th Sabbath, so do it and and count to 50, not 52 or 54 and see for yourself how asinine this false teaching is.

I would like you to read what Eliyah has to say about this subject and look at the charts and then do the actual counting to the 50th day. http://www.eliyah.com/lunarsabbath.html

Another good teaching on this can be found at http://www.yrm.org/lunarsabbath.htm Lunar Sabbath Illusion The Doctrine that seeks to eclipse Yahweh’s Rest and also I have three teachings about this which you can search out at  The Lunar Sabbath Lie.

Brethren do not be deceived by these false teachers and self appointed apostles with official sounding names. They seek to be glorified by those who are dumb enough to follow them. By those who are not grounded in Torah and by those who do not and will not do their own search and prove these things false. There is no record of any Jewish brethren ever keeping a Lunar Sabbath. It has only begun in the last dozen or so year by those who seek a following after themselves. Before these end times it never existed. Do not be led away by Satan or any of his demonic spirits. Until these people repent and return to the Torah even their prayers are an abomination to Yahovah as we showed you in last week’s Torah portion.

Proverbs 28: 9 He who turns away his ear from hearing the Torah, Even his prayer is an abomination

In the news recently was the following article.
AP journalist dives into Gulf, can only see oil
Wed Jun 9, 6:47 AM
By Rich Matthews, The Associated Press
Some 40 miles (65 miles) out into the Gulf Of Mexico, I jump off the boat into the thickest patch of red oil I’ve ever seen. I open my eyes and realize my mask is already smeared. I can’t see anything and we’re just five seconds into the dive.
A few weeks ago I suggested the oil in the ocean was related to the revelations where it says the sea was turned to blood.
• Revelation 8:8 KJV
And the second angel sounded , and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
• Revelation 16:3 KJV
And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
I just want to point out what this reporter said in the lead of his article. I always thought the oil was black, but he said it was thick red. In the videos I showed you a few weeks ago the oil was red in colour.

Is this the start of these events in Revelation? I do not know for sure, but I am seeing where they could be.

We also want to update you on the growing food crisis. We have shown you from the Prophecies of Abraham that we totally expect a famine of some sort in 2010. Just because it has not affected you does not mean it is not happening. Or as Aldous Huxley has said “Current situational facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.”

It is the nature of the human species to reject what is true but unpleasant and to embrace what is obviously false but comforting. This is indeed the case for much of what this News letter reports; Prophecy as it is shaping up in these last days. Most reject it in favour of the peace and prosperity message most Christian groups now teach.

Food crisis http://article.wn.com/view/2010/06/03/NIGERIA_Fallout_from_Niger_food_crisis/?section=Hot+Topics&template=worldnews%2Findex.txt

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2010/05/28/impoverished-niger-food-crisis-looms-starving-cattle-unable-stand-wait-death/
GADABEJI, Niger (AP) — At this time of year, the Gadabeji Reserve should be refuge for the nomadic tribes who travel across a moonscape on the edge of the Sahara to graze their cattle. But the grass is meager after a drought killed off the last year’s crops. Now the cattle are too weak to stand and too skinny to sell, leaving the poor without any way to buy grain to feed their families.

The threat of famine is again stalking the Sahel, a band of semiarid land stretching across Africa south of the Sahara. The U.N. World Food Program warned on Friday that some 10 million people face hunger over the next three months before the next harvest in September — if it comes.

Surging costs hit food security in poorer nations
AP – In this photo taken Thursday May 27, 2010, an Egyptian girl sorts onions during the harvest of crops …

By JOE McDONALD, AP Business Writer Joe Mcdonald, Ap Business Writer –
Families from Pakistan to Argentina to Congo are being battered by surging food prices that are dragging more people into poverty, fueling political tensions and forcing some to give up eating meat, fruit and even tomatoes.

Scraping to afford the next meal is still a grim daily reality in the developing world even though the global food crisis that dominated headlines in 2008 quickly faded in the U.S. and other rich countries.

With food costing up to 70 percent of family income in the poorest countries, rising prices are squeezing household budgets and threatening to worsen malnutrition, while inflation stays moderate in the United States and Europe. Compounding the problem in many countries: prices hardly fell from their peaks in 2008, when global food prices jumped in part due to a smaller U.S. wheat harvest and demand for crops to use in biofuels.

Majeedan Begum, a Pakistani mother of five, said a bag of flour for bread, the staple of her family’s diet, costs three times what it did two years ago in her hometown of Multan. She can no longer afford meat or fruit.

“My domestic budget has been ruined,” said Begum, 35.

The U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization’s food price index — which includes grains, meat, dairy and other items in 90 countries — was up 22 percent in March from a year earlier though still below 2008 levels. In some Asian markets, rice and wheat prices are 20 to 70 percent above 2008 levels, it says.

Many governments blame dry weather and high fuel costs but critics in countries such as India, Argentina and Egypt say misguided policies are making shortages worse and collusion by suppliers might be pushing up prices.

No single factor explains the inflation gap between developing and developed countries but poorer economies are more vulnerable to an array of problems that can push up prices, and many are cropping up this year.

Farmers with less land and irrigation are hit harder by drought and floods. Civil war and other conflicts can disrupt supplies. Prices in import-dependent economies spike up when the local currency weakens, as Pakistan’s rupee has this year.

Costs also have been pushed up by a rebound in global commodity prices, especially for soy destined for Asian consumption. That has prompted a shift in Argentina and elsewhere to produce more for export, which has led to local shortages of beef and other food. The global financial crisis hurt food production in some countries by making it harder for farmers to get credit for seed and supplies.

In Mauritania in West Africa, rice prices doubled over the first three months of the year, according to the World Food Program. Over the same period, the price of corn rose 59 percent in Zimbabwe and 57 percent in neighboring Mozambique.

In Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mami Monga pays $25 for a box of fish that cost $10 a year ago. The price of a 25-kilogram bag of rice has doubled to $30.

“Today I am obliged to buy half the food I used to buy mid-last year,” said Mami, a mother of five.

Kinshasa shopkeeper Abedi Patelli said prices rise when the exchange rate of Congo’s currency falls. “But when our currency improves against the U.S. dollar, prices don’t fall,” he said. “They remain steady.”

WFP spokesman Greg Barrow said poorer countries can suffer a “ratchet effect” that locks in price rises due to high transportation costs and limited competition.

“Prices dropped fairly dramatically toward the end of 2008 on international markets but we found prices remained relatively high in many local markets in developing countries,” said Barrow.

After the cost of food rises, “it tends to take a long time to go down,” he said.

The FAO said the double blow of the global recession and high food prices has pushed 100 million people into poverty.

Opposition parties have organized protests in Pakistan. In Egypt, a 50 percent jump in meat prices in recent weeks has helped to fuel demonstrations outside parliament over wages and other economic issues.

“I am afraid that I will wake up one day and not able to get enough bread for my 12-member family,” said Aboulella Moussa, a doorman at a Cairo apartment building.

People interviewed in a number of countries said they are coping not just by cutting out expensive items but by eating less — a trend that has stirred concern about malnutrition.

In the 2008 inflation spike, WFP found families in some countries skipped meals or switched to eating corn husks or other low-quality produce. “Over the long term, this would lead to the effects of chronic malnutrition,” Barrow said.

“It’s expensive, so we eat less,” said Seema Valmiki, 35, who is raising three children in New Delhi with her husband on his 6,000-rupee ($135) monthly income as a driver.

Valmiki can no longer afford meat, fruit or fish and has put off buying her children new school uniforms, toys and a bicycle.
“If we buy them fruit, we can’t buy them food” like rice, dal and vegetables, she said.

In China, food costs rose 5.9 percent in April over a year ago — a modest rate for a country that suffered 20 percent-plus inflation in 2008. But it was enough to prompt the communist government to try to reassure the public with pledges that prices will ease as the spring harvest comes in. It also threatened to punish price gouging in a new effort to cool inflation.

Even in moderately prosperous nations such as Venezuela, shoppers say they can no longer afford meat and scour markets for bargains.

In Argentina, soy production has taken over more than 32 million acres (13 million hectares) of grassland once used to raise cattle and replaced less profitable wheat and corn as well, driving up prices in supermarkets.

Argentina’s government has responded with higher taxes, export limits, controls on supermarket prices of meat, wheat and corn, subsidies to food producers and pay hikes of 30 percent for union workers. The moves have temporarily eased the pain but beef producers have thinned their herds in response to government intervention and the price of meat has doubled in the last year.
“Before, we would eat meat three times a week. Now it’s once, with luck,” said Marta Esposito, a 45-year-old mother of two in Buenos Aires. “Tomatoes, don’t even talk about it. We eat whatever is the cheapest.”

Venezuela’s 30.4 percent inflation is among the world’s highest. The oil-rich country is a major food importer and its bolivar has tumbled against the dollar, forcing up prices in local markets. In April, food prices rose 11 percent over the previous month.

The Venezuelan government has imposed price controls and arrested some shopkeepers for violating them. But the controls have led to shortages of beef, sugar, corn meal and butter, forcing the government to allow some prices to rise by 20 percent this year.

Elsewhere, rising prices highlight a more basic problem: making sure farm productivity keeps pace with burgeoning populations.
India’s food prices were up 17 percent in April over a year earlier but the government hopes normal rainfall this growing season will increase supplies. The rise has been driven in part by growing demand from the rural poor, who can afford to spend more on food thanks to government debt-relief and job-creation programs.

Longer term, experts say India, with more than 1 billion people, has to speed up growth in farm production if it is to keep up with demand.

“Our capacity to feed every Indian is systematically declining with time,” said Harsh Mander, who was appointed by India’s Supreme Court to monitor hunger. “World markets can’t bail us out.”

Western premiers call for flooding support
Wed Jun 16, 4:20 AM
By The Canadian Press
VANCOUVER – Western Canada’s premiers are urging Ottawa to immediately shore up support for Prairie farmers hit by severe flooding.

Recent heavy rainfalls have washed out great swaths of fields, meaning upwards of 5 million hectares of central Canadian farmland won’t be seeded this year.

Calling the devastation the worst in the region since the early 1970s, the premiers said Tuesday the jobs of not just farmers, but workers all throughout the agriculture sector, will be impacted.

“This is a significant issue with cash flow, but it also affects transportation — a number of rail cars being loaded with farm product — means jobs and processing (losses).”

“We haven’t seen this much rain in many years, we’re always complaining about drought for the last few, and this is just turning 180-degrees opposite. We’ve got some real challenges that we’re facing in Western Canada.”

Now having read these headlines and stories I would now like to share one more thing before we get to this week’s Torah portions and lessons.

Because the Prophecies of Abraham is based on a simple understanding of math this next series of videos is important to understand in hindsight to what we have just read about the food shortages already taking hold of different parts of the world and to what The Prophecies of Abraham and the DVD The Chronological Order of Prophecy teaches us. Please take the time to watch all 8 segments. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-QA2rkpBSY&feature=related

We have been told that we must double the amount of agricultural foods in order to keep the world fed up to 2050. After watching this series of videos above you will know that is not possible.

Triennial Torah Cycle

We continue this weekend with our regular Triennial Torah reading which can be found at
https://sightedmoon.com/sightedmoon_2015/files/TriennialCycleBeginningAviv.pdf

This is our 13th week 19/06/2010

Genesis 14

The teachings about the Kings of the North and how they came against the cities of the plains and then captured Lot I have explained in the book the Prophecies of Abraham. For those of you who are not going to purchase a copy you can read the unedited edition of this chapter at https://sightedmoon.com/sightedmoon_2015/files/Abraham_Prophecy_Invasion_Of_Judah.pdf This is the first time I had put this teaching to print and there have been some updates and editing which you can see when you read the book.

For now this will do.
This week I wanted to focus a bit more on the last part of chapter 14.

After Abraham had defeated the kings of the North he gave ten percent of all.
17 And after his return from the defeat of Ked?orla?omer and the sovereigns who were with him, the sovereign of Sed?om came out to meet him at the Valley of Shaw?h, that is, the Sovereign’s Valley. 18 And Malkitsed?eq sovereign of Shal?m brought out bread and wine. Now he was the priest of the Most High ?l. 19 And he blessed him and said, “Blessed be Ab?ram of the Most High ?l, Possessor of the heavens and earth. 20 “And blessed be the Most High ?l who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tenth of all.

Melchizedek (from Hebrew ?????????????? melech-i-tzĂŠdek, literally “righteousness is my king”)

As we read in our previous studies from the book of Jasher Abraham dwelt with Noah and Shem for many years. When you look at the year that Shem dies you will see that it is the year 2158 after creation. Abraham died in the year 2123 A.C. 35 year before Shem, Isaac and Jacob are both alive during the time of Shem and would have known him.

Shem is also known in ancient Egyptian Records as Semsem, 7th Pharaoh of the 1st Dynasty. The king of Lower Egypt, which realm was called Shemau (as in Joyce’s Shem) and included the Nile delta, was titled bit, “bee” or “he of the bee,” usually translated into English as “King of Lower Egypt.”

Legends also say that it was Shem who built the Great Pyramids in Giza. In fact in one those pyramids is a curse written on the stone ceiling against Typho whom the builders hated. The reason they hated Typho which has come to mean the President, is because Typho was also known as Shem who executed Nimrod and these people worshiped Nimrod.

In the book The Prophecies of Abraham I show you that Shem executed Nimrod. The Quran says that Esau ambushed Nimrod. But all we have to do is look at the chronology to see that Nimrod is dead in 2047 After Creation and Esau is not even born until after Isaac is married in 2098 51 years later.

Before all of these events mentioned above the year the kings of the north attacked and the year Abraham defeats them and gives this tithe to Shem is 2027 A.C.

Most people are quite content to read and study and listen to teachers until the moment tithing is brought up and then the walls go up and they stop listening. Others say that the tithe is only to come from what one grows. Then once they say that, so as not to send in any money, they do not ever send in anything they grow in the garden. What is the truth of this Brethren?

When I was with the World Wide Church of God I tithed faithfully during the time I was there and I kept a record of how Yahovah blessed me. It was not always with finances. It was in the health of my family and the way we lived.

Last week I was at a meeting that I let someone drag me too. It turned out to be a form of Pentecostalism. Before the meeting got started they were asking for donations. The man asking for those donations told us how god had shown him that he should go to Aruba and stay at the most expensive place and from there go and give out tracks on the beach. The trip cost over $7000. I was furious to sit there and listen to this con artist justify the spending of so much money on himself and do it in the name of Jesus. I felt sick to my stomach.

I also listen to Christian radio shows as I drive to work each day and all this one fella does is beg for money from the listeners, and he gets it. For half an hour this is all he does, talking about this project and that project and how urgent each one is and he then demands the listeners to give him the cash. I do not understand this at all. He will ask for $10,000 and he gets it sent to him.

Those who are obviously not teaching the Torah, and those who are obviously spending it on themselves and living in the most expensive places on the backs of those they have conned, are able to get more and more to spend on whatever they want. Yet those who are teaching Torah do not have anything to show for it and others are reduced to selling what they teach in order to survive and they have to copyright it to secure their income. I know of some Torah teachers who are right now losing their house and all that they had, and I consider this teacher very good.

As I researched this subject for this week’s News letter, I have to admit that I have carried some baggage from my former teachings. After reading the following article I must reluctantly agree with the writer who by the way is in one of COG’s. Please do take the time to read this entire article. I am only going to quote a few sections below but the article is important. I think it will show you the truth about tithing. It may not be as you think.
http://godkind.org/tithing.html

When the Israelites left Egypt, they plundered the Egyptians. They had great wealth with them. Later on in the wilderness, (Exodus 25 and 35) God commands the Israelites to give as they are willing toward the support and construction of the Tabernacle. No mention of them having to tithe on this increase, even for God’s Tabernacle. Exodus 36 clearly tells us this was a free will offering, not a tithe. It wasn’t until a year later that tithing was instituted by God.

Throughout Exodus and the giving of the law, and Leviticus, all the way up to the very last chapter, chapter 27, and to the last 5 verses, we are given nothing on tithing. Referring back to Jacob’s vow to God to give a tithe to God of all of the land… God then seems to be bringing up this vow to the remembrance of Israel and claiming what was vowed to Him… the tithe Jacob vowed.

The tithe of the LAND was what was holy to God:
Lev 27:30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’s: it is holy to the LORD.

The Levites, while serving in the temple at times, were seemingly also many other things as well; Teachers, judges, medical people, singers, musicians, law enforcement, architects and builders. They certainly had much more to do than occasional temple service. They only ate of the tithes of the temple while serving in the temple.

Malachi 3:8-10, in context, is clearly speaking to the Levitical Priests… Malachi 1:6-8, 10-13, 2:1, 3:3. It is interesting that Malachi and Nehemiah were written about the same time. In Nehemiah 10 & 13, we see tithing being discussed and the action which Malachi was writing about that needed to take place. Yet Malachi 3 is always pointed to regarding the tithing command…

Mal 3:9 “Ye are cursed with a curse: for you have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring you all the tithes”… plural…
Does this mean first, second and third tithes were to be brought to the storehouse? Does it mean tithes of ALL things, creating a major storage problem if millions of people were tithing of ALL they possessed into the storehouse,

…”that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, says the LORD of hosts.”

This time period was one in which many things were being restored to the people. It was a time of drought and crop failures. Malachi was speaking to this nation, Judah, that was coming back to His laws. The blessing for tithing was on… what? The agricultural elements, not business, money, etc.

One has to ask, is America in any respect of the word, “cursed” regarding abundance and wealth? Of course, we can point to lots of sin and curses regarding breaking God’s commands, but America has led the world in wealth and power for 50+ years. How can we use this “curse” to apply to us today, especially since 99% of the population do not tithe, yet many give to their churches and to charities?

Neh 13:10 And I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given them: for the Levites and the singers, that did the work, were fled every one to his field. 11 Then contended I with the rulers, and said, Why is the house of God forsaken? And I gathered them together, and set them in their place. 12 Then brought all Judah the tithe of the corn and the new wine and the oil to the treasuries.

Same time frame as Malachi. The temple storage was empty of food stuff… corn, new wine, oil… not money, not clothes, or other items. Nehemiah was addressing the very problem Malachi spoke of regarding tithes in the temple. If tithing was occurring on other items, the Levites could easily have sold these items for the agricultural products.

Levites, working only two weeks a year in the temple, didn’t need cloths, baskets, hammers, shoes, etc., but they did need food to eat and it was right to feed them because they served the people during those two weeks and were away from their homes and property. It would be unreasonable to expect them to pay for their upkeep while serving all Israel and serving God. “A laborer is worthy of his hire.” God provided for this by providing all the food they needed, and enough for the poor as well.

I have to ask, how many ministers would hang around as ministers if tithing were abandoned as unbiblical? What better tests the true calling of a minister to tend the flock of God… a ready paycheck guaranteed by tithing that provides a standard of living above most in the COG, or having to trust in God, and have faith that their needs would be provided by the church and living at the same standard as the rest of the church brethren?

Brethren I know many of the teachers you read and listen to do not get any income or tithes from those who are benefiting from those teachings. Yet they do it week over week and they do it from their love of Yahovah.

I myself have a full time job I do 5 days a week. I leave at 5 Am and get home at 6 or 8 each day. 3 to 4 hours is spent in traffic jams each day. With very little support from the many who read this News Letter we have paid for the internet and advertising and the publishing of the materials and the book The Prophecies of Abraham. Most of this money has come from my own pocket and I do not regret one penny of it.

We have just read from Nehemiah 13:10 And I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given them: for the Levites and the singers, that did the work, were fled everyone to his field. 11 Then contended I with the rulers, and said, Why is the house of God forsaken? And I gathered them together, and set them in their place. 12 Then brought all Judah the tithe of the corn and the new wine and the oil to the treasuries.

Because the Levites were not taken care of by the Israelites who were to give to them a tithe of their produce, the Levites were forced to go and fend for themselves. This left the teachings and the Temple service undone.

If all of those who call themselves pastors and rabbis were not given a wage, how many of them would stick around. On the other hand you do have a number of brethren who do not receive a wage and week after week they give you the best they can of what they have learned and researched from the Torah for your benefit. Many of you have given to this cause and to that one to raise millions for a cause that never seems to go away no matter how much money you throw at it such as cancer. You have bought this or that from people only to throw it out in a little while.

Have you considered thanking those who have given to you those things you now value most of all. That is the truth of the Torah. Have you offered to pay for any of the printing that cost them or the books they buy to do the research for you? Have any of you considered giving them something once in a while to help offset the cost of the material they give away to those who say they cannot afford it? Have those who have received freely tried to give a thank offering back?

David would not sacrifice to Yahovah even though the Future site was going to be given to him, yet david would not sacrifice unless it cost him something.

Some of you have teachers amongst yourselves and you have taken them for granted. Stop doing this and do something for them; Stop being unthankful. We are told in the last days men would not be thankful and would not care. We read of this in 2 Timothy 3: 1 But know this, that in the last days hard times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, thankless, wrong-doers, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, haters of good, 4 betrayers, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Elohim, 5 having a form of reverence but denying its power. And turn away from these! 6 For among them are those who creep into households and captivate silly women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Read what you are told in Zechariah 13: 4 “And it shall be in that day that the prophets shall be ashamed, everyone of his vision when he prophesies, and not put a hairy robe on in order to deceive, 5 but shall say, ‘I am no prophet, I am a farmer, for a man sold me as a slave in my youth.’ 6 “And one shall say to him, ‘What are these wounds in your hands?’ And he shall say, ‘Because I was wounded at home by those who love me.’ 7 “O sword, awake against My Shepherd, against the Man who is My Companion,” declares ???? of hosts. “Smite the Shepherd, and let the sheep be scattered. But I shall turn My hand upon the little ones. 8 And it shall be throughout all the soil,” declares ????, “that two thirds therein are cut off and die, and one third is left therein. 9 “And I shall bring the third into fire, and refine them as silver is refined, and try them as gold is tried. They shall call on My Name1, and I shall answer them. I shall say, ‘This is My people,’ while they say, ‘???? is my Elohim.’

IN Mathew we are told this shepherd is Yahshua 26: 31 Then ????? said to them, “All of you shall stumble in Me this night, for it has been written, ‘I shall strike the Shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered.’

Notice in Zechariah in verse 8 we are talking about the end times. These shepherds being struck will be in the end times also.
Right now this next parable is being lived out in front of your eyes. Mathew 22: 1 And ????? responded and spoke to them again by parables and said, 2 “The reign of the heavens is like a man, a sovereign, who made a wedding feast for his son, 3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast. But they would not come. 4 “Again he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Say to those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and fattened cattle are slaughtered, and all is ready. Come to the wedding feast.” ’ 5 “But they disregarded it and went their way – this one to his field, that one to his trade. 6 “And the rest, having seized his servants, insulted and killed them.

You brethren are the ones who have been invited to the wedding. But you will not come. You ignore the invitation and go back to your way of life. In the Prophecies of Abraham I show you that this is taking place during this current Sabbatical cycle and at the end of this current 7 years those who have been invited will turn and kill those teachers who are bringing you this wedding invitation.

This is about to happen. There is so much to do to get this message out to as many as possible.

After these messengers are killed then the King sends His army to wipe these ungrateful people off the map. In the Prophecies of Abraham and the DVD the Chronological order of Prophecies I show you that after this current 7 year period beginning in 2017 Yahovah is going to send an army that will defeat the Nations of Israel, who are the UK and USA and smaller nations of North Western Europe.

In Proverbs 31 we can read about the perfect wife. 10 Who does find a capable wife? For she is worth far more than rubies. 11 The heart of her husband shall trust her, And he has no lack of gain. 12 She shall do him good, and not evil, All the days of her life. 13 She shall seek wool and flax, And with delight she works with her hands. 14 She shall be as the ships of Tarshish, She brings in her food from afar. 15 She also rises while it is still night, And provides food for her household, And a portion for her girls. 16 She shall consider a field and buy it; From her profits she shall plant a vineyard. 17 She shall gird herself with strength, And strengthen her arms. 18 She shall taste when her gain is good; Her lamp does not go out by night. 19 She shall stretch out her hands to the distaff, And her hand shall hold the spindle. 20 She shall extend her hand to the poor, And she shall reach out her hands to the needy. 21 She is not afraid of snow for her household, For all her household is dressed in scarlet. 22 She shall make tapestry for herself; She is dressed in fine linen and purple. 23 Her husband is known in the gates, When he sits among the elders of the land. 24 She shall make fine linen and sell them, And shall give girdles for the merchants. 25 Strength and splendour are her garments, And she rejoices in time to come. 26 She shall open her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the Torah of kindness. 27 She watches over the ways of her household, And does not eat the bread of idleness. 28 Her children shall rise up and call her blessed; Her husband too, and he praises her: 29 “Many daughters have done nobly, But you have risen over them all.” 30 Loveliness is deceptive And prettiness is vain, A woman who fears ???? is to be praised. 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands, And let her works praise her in the gates.

Brethren this woman is the house of Israel who is the Bride of Yahshua. It is you and I; it is those of whom answer the invitation to come to the wedding. Read this again and do so carefully. We are told that she is prosperous for her husband’s sake. She has flax and wool for clothes which means she has sheep and fields to grow the flax in. We are told she considers a field and buys it and turns it into profit to be able to take care of her own and the needy and poor. She teaches Torah to her young. This woman is Israel and this woman is you and I.

Brethren in the near future the money you have saved up for your retirement will be gone it will be worthless. The toys you have invested in will be rusting and of no use to you or anyone. We continue to maintain that a famine is coming and it will increase and get worse until as we show you in The Prophecies of Abraham ¼ of the earth’s population will die from this famine.

There are a growing number of people who are ready to lease some land in Israel and also in Jordan and begin to farm this land and get it into production. This land is also going to be needed to provide a place of refuge to those as they come in during the years ahead.

We need to put up an effort to do what we can to get ready for the times that are about to come. We need your combined help to make this come about. Of the ten virgins only half of them were ready when the Messiah came. The rest went back to sleep. We are trying to get ready.

This News Letter is sent out to between 7000 and 20,000 each week. I am not asking for any tithes at all. If you read the article I suggested you will see we should not tithe. I am asking you to give a small amount for the next little while until we have reached our goal. And like Moses when we have the amount we need we will tell you to stop.

If just 10,000 would give $500 we would have $5 Million and we could do a lot in creating 4 farms, 2 in Jordan and 2 in Israel. If just 1000 people would give $100 a month for one year then we could also meet part of this goal. We know some will give more and others less.

But I know there are many of you who have businesses and large investments who could help if you thought this was a viable investment. These farms will need investment for purchase of trees and water systems and for housing to be built. We would also like to create a few companies to do business is Israel and Jordan. Again capital investment is needed to start this up and to get it going. I know we have people ready to help; we just need the capital to get it going.

I am also in need of advertising money to the sum of $10,000 to once again advertise The Prophecies of Abraham on another 2 well read sites.

Last month we asked you for donations to give to a charitable cause in Israel. We had just a hand full of people give. From North America we gave $3700 Canadian, and from Europe we gave $2200 Euros. This was all donated to the Maccabee Institute.

Although Don van Brant of Holland could not make it to Israel for Shavuot because of the Ash cloud. He did come the week after and could only give the Euros part of the funds because the rest of the Canadian funds were hung up in transit. The week after Don returned to Holland the rest of the money was wired to the Maccabee Institute.

Now Brethren you know what we did with what you gave us and you now know what we are planning to do as soon as possible. I want you all to know because it has been said in the past that not one penny of any donation has been used to send me back and forth to Israel. Every trip I have made has been paid for from my own work. Your donations have been used to cover the cost of printing and shipping of printed material and books to those who claim they cannot afford it. Even in this the amount sent in does not cover the cost of what is sent out. These projects in Israel are not so we can get rich, but rather to have something that can look after those who do come and will need help when they arrive. If it were you arriving there for the first time, you would welcome that help. Plan ahead for when you do come and help now before your money is of no value. Those of you who own companies consider what else you can do.

Judges 7-8

Here in judges 7 we read of how Yahovah whittles down the number of people Gideon could use down to just 300 men. They killed that day 120 thousand men of Midian. I found what happened afterwards of great interest. In light of what we have said prior to this it makes it of interest.
http://jbq.jewishbible.org/assets/Uploads/343/343_GIDEON.pdf
SUCCOTH AND PENUEL
After Gideon succeeded in avoiding conflict with the tribe of Ephraim (8:1-3), his requests for assistance were snubbed by the residents of Succoth and Penuel. Gideon swore that upon his return from pursuing the Midianites, he would torture the elders of Succoth, and tear down the tower of Penuel.

When he returned, he carried out his threats, possibly with a magnitude that exceeded the threats: And he took the elders of the city and, [bringing] desert thorns and briers, he punished the people of Succoth with them. As for Penuel, he tore down its tower and killed the townspeople (8:16-17).

One might try to justify the severity of the torture and the massacre at Penuel. Gideon, as a judge, had king-like status. The people had a responsibility to feed the famished troops as part of the national defense efforts. Abarbanel adopts this argument, viewing Gideon’s actions as a
national leader’s rightful prerogative to punish rebels.

Based on his studies of comparative cultures, Abraham Malamat has argued similarly; that is, that Gideon acted in accordance with the standard practice of that era.

In addition to the historical context, the narrative itself appears to support Gideon’s behavior in light of the positive treatment it accords him.

On the other hand, the sheer magnitude of the torture – threshing the people of Succoth with thorns, and massacring the people of Penuel (after he had explicitly promised to destroy only their tower) appears excessive. Radak and Abarbanel (on 8:17) suggest that the people of Penuel must have resisted when Gideon came to destroy their tower, so Gideon was left with no choice
but to fight back and destroy the city.

However, it is difficult to blame the people of Penuel for defending themselves against an attack. This negative dimension finds some support in Gideon’s surprising justification of punishing the people of Succoth – they had mocked him: Then he came to the people of Succoth and said, ‘Here are Zebah and Zalmunna, about whom you mocked me, saying, Are Zebah and Zalmunna already in your hands, that we should give your famished men bread?’ (8:15). By injecting Gideon’s personal feelings instead of an objective claim of authority, the narrative appears to mitigate the rationale of Gideon’s punishing these cities solely in the name of national security.

Gideon’s response to the cities’ non-participation contrasts with that of Deborah, his predecessor. In her victory poem, Deborah condemned those who did not participate in the battle against Sisera (5:15-17, 23), but did not inflict physical harm on them. Surprisingly, Gideon’s attacks on Succoth and Penuel bear a closer resemblance to Abimelech’s subsequent attacks on those
who resisted his authority (Ch. 9).

THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE TRAITS OF GIDEON
Vol. 34, No. 3, 2006
GIDEON AVENGES THE LOSS OF HIS BROTHERS
Then he asked Zebah and Zalmunna, ‘Those men you killed at Tabor, what were they like?’ ‘They looked just like you,’ they replied, ‘like sons of a king.’ ‘They were my brothers,’ he declared,
‘the sons of my mother. As the Lord lives, if you had spared them, I would not kill you.’ And he commanded his oldest son Jether, ‘Go kill them!’ But the boy did not draw his sword, for he was timid, being still a boy (8:18-20).

In 8:19, we learn that Gideon’s maternal brothers had been killed in an earlier battle against Midian. This is the first time in Judges that a leader acted from personal revenge, not purely for God and for Israel. Although it is not inherently bad to have personal motivations when engaged in a battle of national defense, Gideon complicated the moral issue by saying if you had spared them, I would not kill you (8:19). If he meant that statement literally, it would cast light on his massacre at Penuel and torture at Succoth. One can imagine a scenario where Gideon would have let the Midianite kings go free, even after severely punishing Israelites cities for not assisting in their capture!

In the final analysis, however, Gideon did help his nation by defeating the Midianites. Even if his actions in the battle may have been tinged with some personal motivations, Gideon appears to receive full support in the narrative.

Ps 31-32

We have here in Psalm31:20 and Psalm 32:7 mention of the secret place and of the hiding place which is Yahovah. I truly do want to explain this you here. But it is not possible to show you unless you are standing in the Place where the Temple once stood; then and only then will you understand and then and only then will you believe where the secret place it is.
For those of you who want to search this out, here are two clues. One is in the Constellations and is to be found in the stars of Cancer. The other clue is to be found in the Synagogue where old Torah Scrolls are stored.

Mat 19 – 20:16

Mathew 19 begins with the issue of Marriage and Divorce to which we have just added the article at https://sightedmoon.com/sightedmoon_2015/?page_id=646 which continues to help heal the many wounds caused by churches who have done the brethren such harm on this subject as this one lady has written.

Well first of all, I have just gone back and re-read last week’s Newsletter and the section on the Judges, as it went right over my head last week, for the following reasons. Please do post it again, when and as you see fit, and as the Ruach leads you, as it is an excellent teaching and we probably all need another crack at it.

Sorry dear cousin/brother – but with the item on divorce and remarriage PLUS the section on the study of the Torah laws 79 – 85; it just paled into insignificance. I marvelled at, and still am, that the word Ruach is a feminine noun in Hebrew. That has opened my mind to a greater understanding, than I ever had understood before.

Be encouraged Joe, possibly it is not so much that no one was interested in your teaching on the time line of the judges, but more to the point that you posted two subjects that dove tailed into each other so perfectly that perhaps you are unaware in what you were doing in helping and healing so many of us regarding this aspect of our earthly lives that we have been bashed over the head with for so many, many years in the WWCG.

Ah dear, dear cousin and brother Joe, can you but imagine just how healing that article was/is on divorce and remarriage? No I suspect not. But Our Father does, and knows how much we all needed to hear and study His Word and KNOW the infinite love and mercy that he has entwined into all his law. What did David say” Oh how love I thy law, it is my meditation all the days of my life?” Well it is….. when we can know and understand it, as Our Father meant us to know and understand it.

I urge you all to read the article on Divorce and remarriage.

In Mathew 19:23 And ????? said to His taught ones, “Truly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter into the reign of the heavens. 24 And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the reign of Elohim.”

What is Yahshua saying here. The word for Camel is Gamala and Gamala also refers to a “ heavy rope” rather than a Camel which is also spelled gimel-meem-lamed-alap. Greek scholars puzzled over a camel passing through the eye of a needle, which is a physical impossibility. Yahshua is clearly not saying a rich man can’t enter, or He would not love this one. The heavy rope lesson teaches about a rich man entering into heaven, after he unravels his fortune strand by strand as Yahshua instructs. If his wealth was bound tightly and strong like a rope, it is to be unwound like threads which will pass through the eye of the needle. Careful attention is required to thread a needle, so are the rich obligated unto Yahovah for how their wealth is acquired and dispersed. This ties right back into our teaching this week on money.

Here Peter asks what will be the reward of those who have followed Yahshua. He Answers them 29 “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My Name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. 30 “But many who are first shall be last, and the last first.

Many of us who currently suffer with unconverted family and feel so all alone. This is to be our reward. Think on these things when things get hard and you have no one to talk to.

Mathew 20 continues with this last thought. We are all considered labourers working for Yahshua. Some started a long time ago and some will be called to work just before the end of this age. We all get one denarius which is eternal life. We all should be happy but those who were called first and work longer expected more. And it is because of this poor attitude that the first will now be last and the last will now be first. This is truly a warning to us who labour now while it is early. Be humble and thankful you get to do the job we do. But do not expect anymore than the new person who just come onboard this morning. You are no different than he is.

In Jerusalem I went to Rabbi Machlis home for Sukkot one night and we all dance in a huge circle with our arms wrapped around each others shoulders. The was no rabbi, no goyim, no elder and no student, the was no child and no old person, there was no leader, it was a circle dance and we all participated and we all enjoyed it. We were all the same and none greater than the other and none lesser than any other. When you next do the dance remember that those who complain will be last and the last will be first, we are equal so be humble and be happy you have a job sharing the word of Yahovah.

The 613 Mitzvot

We are also going to continue to study the 613 laws of Torah which we can read at http://www.jewfaq.org/613.htm
We are doing 7 laws each week and this week we shall study laws 93-99. We also have commentary from http://theownersmanual.net/The_Owners_Manual_02_The_Law_of_Love.Torah

93 Not to commit incest with one’s father’s brothers wife (Lev. 18:14) (CCN125). See Prohibited Marriages and Illegitimate Children.

Do not commit incest with your father’s brother’s wife. “You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother. You shall not approach his wife; she is your aunt.” (Leviticus 18:14) Though there is no genetic link to be wary of, there’s still the little matter of adultery to deal with. Beyond that, one’s uncle is the closest of relations to your father or mother; therefore the same sort of respect is due to them as should be shown to one’s parents.

94 Not to commit sodomy with one’s father’s brother (Lev. 18:14) (CCN114).

Do not commit sodomy with your father’s brother. “You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother.” (Leviticus 18:14). Sodomy, or any sort of homosexual relationship, is singled out for prohibition elsewhere (see #103). The actual Torah wording does not presuppose an all-male audience; this applies to women as well. Sexual intimacy of any kind with one’s uncle is forbidden.

95 Not to commit incest with one’s son’s wife (Lev. 18:15) (CCN115). See Prohibited Marriages and Illegitimate Children.

Do not commit incest with your son’s wife. “You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law—she is your son’s wife—you shall not uncover her nakedness.” (Leviticus 18:15) This is the one that Judah—had there been a written law at that time—would have blown in Genesis 38—which brings up an interesting question. Was it, or was it not, a sin for Judah, since the Law had not yet been handed down, and he didn’t know the prostitute he was hiring was his daughter-in-law anyway? It’s like the old “If a tree falls in the forest and there’s nobody there to hear it, does it make a sound?” conundrum. The answer here, as with the tree, is yes. “Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” (Romans 3:19-20) Sin existed before the Law was given; the Law merely made us aware of how badly we were failing. It doesn’t matter how many laws there are, six million, six hundred thirteen, or only one (as in “Don’t eat the fruit of that tree”). If we fall short of God’s standard in any way (and we all do), we will find ourselves in need of redemption, a means of reconciliation with our Father. Nor does the mechanism for that reconciliation reside in the Law: Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him as righteousness. Or stated in terms of our own dispensation, “Yahshua answered and said unto them, ‘This is the work of Yahovah, that you believe in Him whom He sent.’” (John 6:29)

96 Not to commit incest with one’s brother’s wife (Lev. 18:16) (CCN126). See Prohibited Marriages and Illegitimate Children.

Do not commit incest with your brother’s wife. “You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife; it is your brother’s nakedness.” (Leviticus 18:16) No gene-pool issues here, just respect for another son of your father—and in the larger context of adultery in general, respect for another child of your Heavenly Father. This mitzvah obviously applies only to a living brother’s wife, not a dead brother’s widow, for whom the rules are reversed under certain conditions (see #79, 80, and 81).

97 Not to commit incest with one’s wife’s daughter (Lev. 18:17) (CCN121). See Prohibited Marriages and Illegitimate Children.

Do not commit incest with your wife’s daughter. “You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter.” (Leviticus 18:17) This would include not only your own daughter, but also any daughters that your wife might have brought from a previous relationship. This is the sort of thing that will (or at least should) get you thrown in jail in this country. Where would we be without the influence of the Old Testament Scriptures on our society and its laws? It’s sad that God should even have felt like He had to bring this up, but as I said, this whole passage is a warning not to adopt the sick pagan practices of Israel’s former or future homelands. They were to remain holy, set apart for Yahweh’s purposes. If only they had.

98 Not to commit incest with the daughter of one’s wife’s son (Lev. 18:17) (CCN122). See Prohibited Marriages and Illegitimate Children.

Do not commit incest with the daughter of your wife’s son. “You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, nor shall you take her son’s daughter…to uncover her nakedness. They are near of kin to her. It is wickedness.” (Leviticus 18:17) For reasons too numerous to recount, a man is to abstain from sexual relations with his granddaughter. Duh

99 Not to commit incest with the daughter of one’s wife’s daughter (Lev. 18:17) (CCN123). See Prohibited Marriages and Illegitimate Children.

Do not commit incest with the daughter of your wife’s daughter. “You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, nor shall you take her…daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near of kin to her. It is wickedness.” (Leviticus 18:17). Okay, one more time, ’cause we might have missed it. It doesn’t matter what side of the family your granddaughter is on, your son’s or your daughter’s, it doesn’t matter how cute she is, or how much older than her age she looks, or how little self restraint you’re willing to exercise: incest is a bad thing—keep your hands off of her.
