Do You Have The Fear of Yahovah

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom Brethren,

We had many people write us this past week to express their gratitude and to give an offering for the Shavuot gift we are working on. I want to thank you all for doing this. I am pleased not to be the only one who thinks this is a good thing to do. So thank you. Again you can read about this at Our Appeal for Contributions to help Ephraim ReturnIf you want to make a gift to this offering then you still have time. You can send it by Pay Pal on my site at the right hand side if this is easier for you to do.

One of my wife’s best friends says that all I am trying to do is scare people. She says Jesus is not going to hurt people, Jesus is not like that, and Jesus is mercy and loving. She says my teachings are dangerous and wrong because they scare people. She has taken a copy of the Prophecies of Abraham to give to her brother and pastor to get them to show her where I am wrong. I look forward to their response.

Those of you who have been reading this news letter for a while and or the book The Prophecies of Abraham know that we are in the third Sabbatical Cycle which has the curse that goes with it about earth quakes and pestilences and famines. You know this is what the bible says and is not what I have made up. Nor are the following headlines, some of which I suggested you all to look at last week, made up by me. Nor are the new ones that have been sent to me this week.

So am I trying to scare people? Yes I am. I am trying to scare them by showing them what Yahovah has said He will do to scare them back to Torah observance. In truth it is Yahovah who is scaring you and it is you who are scared because you do not Obey Him and because you do not obey Him, your butt is flapping in the winds of disaster which are coming and you do not know what to do even though you can read it in the news. But too many Christians pretend everything is OK and they play the ostrich game of hiding their head in the sand hoping the danger will go away. And too many self righteous Messianic Brethren are also at great risk, thinking they are safe when in truth they are nowhere close. It is high time each and every one of you opens up your bible and read once again what it says and stop listening to conspiracy teachings and anti government propaganda garbage and health and wealth gospel lies. Get on your knees and pray for Yahovah to open your minds to the truths and once you see them begin to obey them.

Read on to see how Yahovah is scaring the world, not me. I am just showing you where to look.

Over 1 Billion People Are Already Struggling for Water
The water shortage has yet to significantly impact the United States, at least not on par with how other parts of the world are already struggling. According to the World Water Council, 1.1 billion people are currently living without clean drinking water, while another 2.6 billion lack adequate sanitation.

The mysterious 4-year-old crisis of disappearing honeybees is deepening. A quick federal survey indicates a heavy bee die-off this winter of 2010, while a new study shows honeybees’ pollen and hives laden with pesticides. Scientists are concerned because of the vital role bees play in our food supply. About one-third of the human diet is from plants that require pollination from honeybees, which means everything from apples to zucchini. One-third of those surveyed had trouble finding enough hives to pollinate California’s blossoming nut trees, which grows the bulk of the world’s almonds.

What is devastating the world’s honeybees?
In what appears to be a honeybee mystery of Armageddon proportions that has baffled scientists and beekeepers, more than one-third of the nation’s commercial honeybee population is mysteriously disappearing – and researchers warn the unexplained phenomenon threatens one-third of the American diet.

Severe water shortages
This year, the dry season in Southeast Asia has been far drier than normal. And the southern Chinese provinces of Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan are suffering a severe drought. Over 20 million people face water shortages with some 6.5 million hectares of crops affected.

“This is a one in 50-year occurrence – with a return period of 50 years – so it’s quite severe,”

http://agriculture.imva.info/?p=3

China has sent 1.4m tonnes of emergency grain supplies to drought-stricken southern provinces that are struggling to cope with the worst drought in decades, the local media reported today.

Authorities say well digging and other relief efforts may also need to be widened as the normally lush and humid region undergoes a dry spell that threatens wildlife, crop production and hydropower generation.

One of the worst dry periods in Vietnam’s recent history has dried up riverbeds and aggravated saline water intrusion into coastal areas, threatening Vietnam’s southern Mekong Delta, the country’s rice bowl, said an U.N. expert here on Thursday.
Vietnam, world second largest rice exporter, will face a drop in spring-summer crop production this year, said Koos Neefjes,

A LOCUST plague sweeping Victoria is the worst in nearly 40 years, experts say.
Billions of locusts have flown south after big rains and flooding in Queensland created ideal breeding conditions.

”Our farmers are looking down the barrel at a horror spring locust plague,” he said.

Drought suppressed the insect numbers in recent years but heavy summer rain followed by extensive flooding turned locust breeding grounds in western and central NSW, the Riverina, northern South Australia and south-western Queensland into massive lush, green incubators.

This month they started flying south. They poured across the Murray River and wrought havoc around Mildura: 8000 hectares of canola ”vanished” in one day.

A carrot grower, Phillip Lamattina, lost about 75 hectares of his crop – 25 million carrots – on Sunday. This may tighten the supply of carrots later in the year as he is one of the biggest growers in Australia.

Locusts also gorged their way through Colin Heatshot’s 100 hectare crop of oats in hours.

One farmer from Echuca-Moama on the NSW-Victorian border said the locusts had destroyed the best wheat crop his farm had produced in years.

DENVER—Farmers and ranchers across the West are bracing for a grasshopper infestation that could devastate millions of acres of crops and land used for grazing.

Over the coming weeks, federal officials say, grasshoppers will likely hatch in bigger numbers than any year since 1985. Hungry swarms caused hundreds of millions of dollars in damage that year when they devoured corn, barley, alfalfa, beets—even fence posts and the paint off the sides of barns.

U.S. Food Inflation Spiraling Out of Control
FORT LEE, N.J., April 22 /PRNewswire/ — The National Inflation Association today issued the following food inflation alert to its http://inflation.us members:

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) today released their Producer Price Index (PPI) report for March 2010 and the latest numbers are shocking. Food prices for the month rose by 2.4%, its sixth consecutive monthly increase and the largest jump in over 26 years. NIA believes that a major breakout in food inflation could be imminent, similar to what is currently being experienced in India.

Some of the startling food price increases on a year-over-year basis include, fresh and dry vegetables up 56.1%, fresh fruits and melons up 28.8%, eggs for fresh use up 33.6%, pork up 19.1%, beef and veal up 10.7% and dairy products up 9.7%. On October 30th, 2009, NIA predicted that inflation would appear next in food and agriculture, but we never anticipated that it would spiral so far out of control this quickly.

The PPI foreshadows price increases that will later occur in the retail sector. With U-6 unemployment rising last month to 16.9%, many retailers are currently reluctant to pass along rising prices to consumers, but they will soon be forced to do so if they want to avoid reporting huge losses to shareholders.

Food stamp usage in the U.S. has now increased for 14 consecutive months. There are now 39.4 million Americans on food stamps, up 22.4% from one year ago. The U.S. government is now paying out more to Americans in benefits than it collects in taxes. As food inflation continues to surge, our country will soon have no choice but to cut back on food stamps and other entitlement programs.

Most financial experts in the mainstream media are proclaiming that the recession is over and inflation is not a problem in the U.S. Unfortunately, they fail to realize that rising food and gasoline prices accounted for 58% of February’s year-over-year 3.85% rise in retail sales. NIA believes price inflation is beginning to accelerate in many areas of the economy besides food and energy, and all increases in U.S. retail sales this year will be entirely due to inflation.

Agricultural Apocalypse 2010
March 29, 2010 by agriculture
When a large segment of the population is facing a drastic cut in income in the face of escalating food prices we have a catastrophic problem in the making. Today we have the simultaneous events of income deflation and food inflation; two high-speed express trains coming down that tracks at each other, a financial crisis colliding with staggering crop losses, which are cutting deeply into available planetary food reserves. Prices of food are again beginning to soar again just as millions are losing the ability to afford a reasonable diet, though little of this is being observed or reported. But soon even the blind will see.

High food costs force Indians to do more with less
April 30, 2010

Food inflation that has been stuck in the double digits for a year has had a deep impact on school lunches, family meals and holy offerings. Anger with high prices erupted into protests this week that disrupted flights, trains and traffic. While policymakers debate how to feed people without driving the country deeper in debt, Indians grapple with the sad arithmetic of how to do more with less.

He estimates that 80 million to 200 million Indians go to sleep hungry each night.

Officially, food inflation neared 22 percent in December, a 17-year high. By March it had eased to 16.7 percent, with the cost of wheat 14 percent higher than a year ago and pulses like the lentils known as dal — a crucial source of protein in a nation full of vegetarians — up 31 percent.

And this is just the 2nd month of this the third Sabbatical Cycle. Will you survive to the end of the 6th year of this cycle? Will you then be ready for the fourth Sabbatical Cycle of War; or the fifth one of Captivity and slavery and cannibalism? Are you ready for all of this and even more?

As I warned you all last week, many of you are setting yourself up to be deceived by your current self delusional teachings. 2017 is not the Jubilee year as many are telling you. Prove it to yourselves as others have done. Repent of that wrong teaching before it is too late.

Some of you Christians foolishly think you’re going to be raptured out before all of this. Again you need to repent of this thinking as well before it is too late for your family. Stop thinking you do not have to do anything. You must begin to obey the commandments, all of them if you want to have any hope of surviving what is coming.

Ignore the Prophecies of Abraham; ignore the teachings of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years at your own peril. And be scared while you ignore them. Those of you who are obeying Torah have nothing to fear at all. Oh, but that is not true; Noah knew about the flood and He feared Yahovah and then he built an ark. Noah feared Yahovah, and believed; will you?

The third curse of Lev 26 is now beginning; Earthquakes in various places; Now plaques of grasshoppers and mice.
What about the swine flu pandemic that you heard so much about last year? You might want to read this then. Notice the date.

Georgia is seeing a spike in swine flu [influenza pandemic (H1N1) virus infection] hospitalizations, having the most in the country for 3 weeks in a row, federal health officials said Monday [29 Mar 2010]. It is too early to say whether Georgia or the country are seeing another wave of the illness, which had diminished across the nation for several months, the officials said.

Nine people dead at B.C. hospital since ‘influenza-like’ outbreak began
Tue Apr 27, 6:16 PM By The Canadian Press
VICTORIA – Nine residents have died since April 5 at a Victoria hospital where an influenza-like illness has been detected, says the Vancouver Island Health Authority.

Leviticus 26: 21 ‘And if you walk contrary to Me, and refuse to obey Me, I shall bring on you seven times more plagues, according to your sins, 22 and send wild beasts among you, which shall bereave you of your children. And I shall cut off your livestock, and make you few in number, and your highways shall be deserted

Mathew 24: 7 “For nation shall rise against nation, and reign against reign. And there shall be scarcities of food, and deadly diseases, and earthquakes in places. 8 “And all these are the beginning of birth pains. This is just the beginning of all the calamities that are coming upon our people. The beginning!!!!

So how scared will you be when the famine part of these verses kicks into gear? Well you then be screaming at me that I am trying to scare you, or will you do what the next part of Mathew 24 says. 9 “Then they shall deliver you up to affliction and kill you, and you shall be hated by all nations for My Name’s sake.

Sounds to me like you will not repent and will instead hate me and seek to kill me and others who are doing the same as I am, warning you of what is to come.

It is time now for you to repent and turn back to Yahovah and begin to keep His Torah. His torah not mine, His. Or you can fight me and argue with me until the cows die in the fields and the crops fail; then you can do what it says in Lev 26: 27 ‘And if in spite of this, you do not obey Me, but walk contrary to Me, 28 then I shall walk contrary to you in wrath. And I Myself shall punish you seven times for your sins. 29 ‘And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and eat the flesh of your daughters

Brethren do not wait until you are chewing on the dead bodies of your own children before you realise you might be wrong in your biblical views. You have this window of opportunity to read and prove these things to yourself and then to repent. It is Yahovah that is going to scare you straight, not me. For the sake of your children do it now.

Go ahead and read the book the Prophecies of Abraham which you can order at the Sightedmoon Marketplaceand you also need to watch the video at “Prophesies of Abraham Or are you just too busy being busy about things that will not matter in a few years time. Do it now, do it this very day and do it this weekend. Watch the DVD and order the book and do not put it off any longer. Or you can begin to figure out how to cook little Johnny’s thigh or how to boil the arm of your daughter Mary. You will do one or you will do the other, you get to decide which one you will do. Make the right choice.

In the mail this week are the following.

Shalom Joe,
I would like to get hold of your book and I would love 2 copies, one to pass around to those interested.
I have been praying about making an offering.
Many thanks for the information you have been willing to share with the flock. This site of yours is like a goldmine!

Kind Regards,
-Australia

Dear Joseph,

I was reading Pentecost’s Hidden Meanings on your website and thought I would mention a detail I have come across on other sites.

Messianic Jewish believers and Christians who have embraced the Hebrew roots of their faith in Yeshua/Jesus are the 2 wave loaves of leavened bread. Joined together in the “one new man” (Eph.2:15)

I am overjoyed to hear that there are many Israeli Jews coming to the realization that Yeshua is the Messiah

In these last days, God is doing a marvelous thing. He is breaking down the walls of hate and misunderstanding that have divided the Jews and Gentile believers. He is sovereignly pouring out His Spirit on thousands of Jews to prepare them for the coming of the Messiah. At the same time, God is stirring in the hearts of Christians a holy love for the Jewish people and awakening them to the Jewish roots of their Christian faith.

Many Christians are realizing that the origin of our faith is Jerusalem, not from Rome. As a result, many Christian Churches around the world are reaching out to the Jewish people in their communities, singing songs from the Old Testament, rediscovering their Jewish roots and celebrating the Jewish Feasts as fulfilled in Yeshua. It is clearly God’s appointed time to
reconcile Jew and Gentile, binding us together by His Spirit in the Messiah.

Because of the prophetic season in which we are living, Churches are realizing that it is proper, good and pleasing to the Lord to celebrate the Jewish Feasts of Pesach, Shavuot and soon Yom Teruah. (Romans 14:5-6).
I refuse to go to my local church due to their replacement theology but so far cannot find a messianic assembly.

Thanks for the tremendous effort you are making to educate us.

Bless you in Yeshua’s Precious Name

Chrys

Shalom Joseph

Thanks for all the hard work you have been putting into this site for so long now. I tend to agree that the shorter time frame advocated by some folk
is likely inaccurate and due to simplistic reasoning. My projections of the future timeframe have been similar to yours.

Shalom Tess

Another brother wrote a letter to Promote me coming and speaking on a tour for this one group. I am going to share it below. I also encourage as many of you that are able to do likewise, so that we all can promote the teachings of The Prophecies of Abraham. Each of you knows of some radio or TV show where this teaching would be welcome. And all of you together know enough groups and assemblies or upcoming conference site that you can approach them to help cover the travel cost. Will each of you take a few moments and write to them and tell them about the book in your own words and how they can contact me about the book.

It matters not what country you live in, so do not be discouraged because I live in Canada and it seems so far away. Make the effort and see what blessing Yahovah will bring about to make it happen.

It would be a blessing if many of you wrote to God’s Learning Channel to encourage them to consider me for an interview. They now have the book and the DVD. Again you all know of so many ways we can share this message with larger audiences. Please take the initiative and write them. Do not flood me with hundreds of emails about this site or that one, but rather let these places receive hundreds of emails from you the Brethren for them to host me about the Prophecies of Abraham and the Sabbatical and Jubilee year Chronology. Write them!

Here is what one Brother wrote to help promote the book.

Dear …..

Recently, in one of your broadcasts, you said that you were waiting for the Almighty to send you a speaker to send out on the lecture tour. I regret that your organization’s financial situation is such that it has not been feasible to send speakers out on a monthly basis. However, from recently discussing the subject with one Joseph Dumond, he told me that he would sincerely be interested in doing a tour to teach on the material covered in his recent book The Prophecies of Abraham. This book offers an extension of his teachings from his DVD, Chronological Order of Prophecies in the Jubilees.

I understand that you may not see eye-to-eye in all matters with Mr. Dumond’s teachings. Nevertheless, I think you will find his innovative approach to understanding eschatology is unmatched elsewhere among other Biblical prophecy speakers. Setting differences aside, I am confident that sending Mr. Dumond on a speaking tour would help boost your organization’s re-emergence as a major forum for the promotion of Biblical prophecy subjects. Since his past tour, Mr. Dumond has received a sizeable international following among primarily Hebraic Roots, Messianic, and Church of God adherents through his weekly newsletter.

Your consideration is appreciated. You may contact Mr. Dumond by email at admin@sightedmoon.com or by telephone (Canada). May the Almighty bless your ministry exceedingly as you continue to reveal the prophetic secrets of the Scriptures to those hungry for Truth in these end times.

With love of the Messiah,

01/05/2010        Gen 7       Josh 16-18        Ps 13-17        Mat 10

Genesis 7

The Flood comes.

Here at the beginning of Chapter 7 we are told that Noah was to come into the ark because he was found to be righteous.
1 And ???? said to Noah?, “Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation.

We read in Hebrews 11: 6 But without belief it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to Elohim has to believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him. 7 By belief, Noah?, having been warned of what was yet unseen, having feared, prepared an ark to save his house, through which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to belief.

And Peter too tells us that Noah was righteous in 2 Peter 2: 4 For if Elohim did not spare the messengers who sinned, but sent them to Tartaros, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be kept for judgment, 5 and did not spare the world of old, but preserved Noah?, a proclaimer of righteousness, and seven others, bringing in the flood on the world of the wicked,
Of the eight people in Noah’s family only Noah is claimed to be righteous at this time.

One of the questions I had to find an answer to was ‘what is it that makes you righteous?’ How do you become righteous? This is an extremely important question that each us needs to know the answer to. Because the unrighteous did not get a ticket onto the ark, nor will they escape the horrors that are to come upon the world in just a few years.

The answer came to me when I read Psalm 119:172 171 My lips pour forth praise, For You teach me Your laws. 172 My tongue sings of Your word, For all Your commands are righteousness

All of the commandments; When we practice to keep and to obey and to teach the commandments of Yahovah we too are then being righteous. Those who say they do not have to keep the law or to obey Torah, are not righteous. Because you are not righteous then read carefully what comes next.

You need to pay close attention to this. It is going to have a cost on those who ignore it as we are told in Ezekiel 14: 12 And the word of ???? came again to me, saying, 13 “Son of man, when a land sins against Me to commit a trespass, and I shall stretch out My hand against it, and cut off its supply of bread and send scarcity of food on it, and cut off man and beast from it, 14 even though these three men, Noah?, Dani’?l, and Iyob?, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness,” declares the Master ????. 15 “If I cause an evil beast to pass through the land, and it shall bereave it, and it shall be a wasteland, so that no man passes through because of the beasts, 16 even though these three men were in it, as I live,” declares the Master ????, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters. They alone would be delivered, but the land be a wasteland. 17 “Or if I bring a sword on that land, and I shall say, ‘Sword, go through the land,’ and I shall cut off man and beast from it, 18 even though these three men were in its midst, as I live,” declares the Master ????, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, for they alone would be delivered. 19 “Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and I shall pour out My wrath on it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast, 20 even though Noah?, Dani’?l, and Iyob? were in it, as I live,” declares the Master ????, “they would deliver neither son nor daughter. They would deliver their own lives by their righteousness.” 21 For thus said the Master ????, “How much more it shall be when I send My four evil judgments on Yerushalayim: the sword and scarcity of food and evil beasts and pestilence, to cut off man and beast from it? 22 “But see, there shall be left in it a remnant who are brought out, both sons and daughters. See, they are coming out to you, and you shall see their ways and their deeds, and shall be comforted concerning the evil which I have brought upon Yerushalayim – all that I have brought upon it. 23 “And they shall comfort you, when you see their ways and their deeds. And you shall know that it was not for naught that I have done whatever I did in it,” declares the Master ????.

The plagues spoken of in Ezekiel are the same ones I speak about from Lev 26 which are sent for not keeping the Sabbatical and Jubilee years as well as the rest of Torah.

And because of these plaques, I have spoken up. And yet right here in Gen 7:7 we read why Noah did as he did. By belief, Noah?, having been warned of what was yet unseen, having feared, prepared an ark to save his house,

It was by his belief. In the same way I believe in what the scriptures have said and I believe these things will come to pass, and this is why I do this News Letter in order to have hope that my own household might be saved and yet when we look around us we do not see any of these things happening. Many of the people who died in the flood heard what Noah said and looked around them and said, this guy is nuts. How can Yahovah flood the whole earth? No one believed him until the day it began to rain and when they pounded on the door of the ark it could not be opened. It was too late.

What about you. Do you believe what the scriptures say? Not me, do not listen to me, but read the scriptures and check the Sabbatical and Jubilee year cycles. Do you believe or are you just playing religion and like others pretending to believe? We will all know soon enough when your feet begin to walk or they stay put. Then we will know if you have faith and have feared our creator or not. Your feet will tell you.

Notice that Noah was afraid and this is what Yahovah is doing as My wife’s best friend does not understand. We all need to be afraid of what is about to come. And because Noah feared what was to come he made an ark. Do you fear what is coming? If so what are you doing about it?

Let’s get back to Genesis 7. We are also told here that Noah was to take on board both clean and unclean animals. He was to take 2 of the unclean and 7 of the clean.

Long before there was a Mount Sinai, long before there was a Levitical Priesthood, there were already in existence a law about which animals were clean and which were unclean.

Leviticus 20: 24 ‘But I say to you, “You are going to possess their land, and I Myself give it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am ???? your Elohim, who has separated you from the peoples. 25 ‘And you shall make a distinction between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean birds and clean. And do not make yourselves abominable by beast or by bird, or whatever creeps on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean. 26 ‘And you shall be set-apart to Me, for I ???? am set-apart, and have separated you from the peoples to be Mine.

In Leviticus 11 we are told which animals are clean and which are unclean to eat. If you do not yet understand this then now would be a good time to go and read this chapter. For those of you who need more study in this area I suggest this link.
http://www.gnmagazine.org/booklets/CU/ for those of you who are well aware of these things, this article would be good to review and to do so at this time.

I would next like to share with you a teaching about the last part of the chapter 7 which then takes you into chapter 8. It is this section on the 5 months and the 150 days that has so many people believing that the earth was moved out of its orbit. They then get into all kinds of prophetic thinking about using 360 days for a year based on the 5 month divided by 150 making each month 30 days.

They are just plain ignorant of the scriptures when they do this. Here are the quick facts from the study I am going to give you to read next.

A month is 29.5 days long. We are using the sighted moon to begin the month. When the moon is not seen then the month is going to be 30 days. It is never 31. So each and every month is either 29 or 30 days in length. We need to know when the month begins in order to know when the Holy Days come in the first month and the seventh month.

I am telling you that Noah used the sighted moon to determine the beginning of the month. This is what this section of Genesis is showing us.

When you look up and do not see the moon, then the month is automatically 30 days, so when Noah was in the ark what was going on outside? You can read it in verse 12 And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.

When it rains there are clouds and you cannot see the moon. But also know that Noah was inside the ark. In Chapter 8: 6 And it came to be, at the end of forty days, that Noah? opened the window of the ark which he had made,

So only after the forty days could Noah have seen the moon but He did not for 150 days which is why it says in chapter 8: 4 And in the seventh month, the seventeenth day of the month, the ark rested on the mountains of Ararat.

Because Noah could not see the moon each month was 30 days in length. Noah was keeping track of time as we are shown in Chapter 8 verse 4. This next study has a lot of thinking involved in it but it too will show you by using a calendar that Ezekiel also used 29 and 30 days when he counted his months and this will tie into Noah’s method as well. You can read this pdf Ezekiel’s 30 days.

Because it was raining and overcast Noah could not see the sighted moon for 150 days. Therefore each month was an automatic 30 day month.

Josh 16-18

Here in Joshua 16 we are told of the lot or inheritance that went to Joseph, Epraim and Manasseh. And for many of you the first line if chapter 17 is going to be new. It was Manasseh who was first born of Joseph.

At the end of Chapter 16 is an innocent looking verse. 10 And they did not drive out the Kena?anites who dwelt in Gezer, so the Kenanites dwell among the Ephrayimites to this day and have become compulsory labour. And this is again told of in chapter 17:12-13.

Ehpraim could have expelled the Canaanites because Yahovah had given them into his hand, but not only did Eprhaim not expel them as they were commanded to do, they also entered into an agreement making them forced labour.

Read Deuteronomy 20: 15 “Do so to all the cities which are very far from you, which are not of the cities of these nations. 16 “Only, of the cities of these peoples which ???? your Elohim gives you as an inheritance, you do not keep alive any that breathe, 17 but you shall certainly put them under the ban: the H?ittite and the Amorite and the Kena?anite and the Perizzite and the H?iwwite and the Yeb?usite, as ???? your Elohim has commanded you, 18 lest they teach you to do according to all their abominations which they have done for their mighty ones, and you sin against ???? your Elohim.

The Septuagint tells us that these Canaanites dwelt here until Pharaoh King of Egypt came and took it and drove out the Canaanites, Perizzites and the dwellers at Gezer and he then gave it as a Dowry to his daughter who had married Solomon.
At the end of chapter 17 we read how Ephraim was a great nation and yet was not willing to drive out the Perizzites. They did not have the will power to do this. They wanted their piece of the pie and did not want to do the work required to gain it. This to me sounds exactly like the USA today. A mighty and strong nation, one that no other can touch, yet they do not have the will power to end any of the conflicts they are now in. And so the little bands of the enemy tie them up.

But Joshua at the end of the chapter reminds them that they are a great and strong people and that they should drive out the Canaanites even though they have iron chariots.

We are also told in Chapter 17 of the inheritance of the Daughters of Zelophehad. From http://www.keyway.ca/htm2005/20050314.htm I got the following information.

Zelophehad was a man of the tribe of Manasseh who died during the Wilderness Journey. He had five daughters, but no sons. In order to perpetuate their father’s name, by means of the allotted share of the promised land that would have gone to him, and then to his sons, if he had any, the daughters asked that the land be given to them instead. Moses brought their request before The Lord and it was granted, thereby establishing a new inheritance law in Israel for men who died without sons.

The new law was immediately a serious potential conflict with another established law that women were legally entitled to their husband’s inheritance, not their father’s. When Zelophehad’s daughters later married, as a family their father’s allotment would also become a part of their husband’s territory – a serious problem if they married Israelite men from outside of their own tribe i.e. tribal territories were to remain unmixed. A stipulation was then added that daughters who inherited their father’s land could marry anyone that they wanted, provided that it was someone within their own tribe. To do otherwise would mean forfeiture of their ancestral land, not as some sort of penalty to the daughter, but to prevent their husband from claiming property in a tribal area of which he was not a member.

Israelite women could marry anyone from any Israelite tribe and live in any tribal territory, whereas, although Israelite men could also marry anyone from any Israelite tribe, the men could only possess land in a tribal territory of which they were a member i.e. women were free to live anywhere in Israel while the men were more restricted to their own tribal territory. On the other hand, if women inherited their father’s territory, according to the new law, they were then subject to the same territorial restriction that men already had to adhere to. Although some people have interpreted it as some sort of “feminist” issue that was somehow unfair to women, the fact is that women were already more free than men as to where they could live. But when women inherited land the same as men did, they became subject to the same restrictions as men did i.e. to only possess land within their own tribal territory.

We have the following notes on Chapter 18 are from http://www.freebiblecommentary.org/pdf/EN/VOL04OT.pdf

18:1 “Shiloh” This city is in the tribal allocation of Ephraim, north of Bethel. The tabernacle resided here from Joshua’s time to Samuel’s time (cf. Jdgs. 18:31) because this city was centrally located.
18:2-3 Apparently several tribes were not willing to take on the responsibility of capturing their own tribal allocations. The PARTICIPLE “put off” (BDB 951, KB 1276, Hithpael PARTICIPLE) means “to show oneself lazy” (lit. to relax or loosen, which means metaphorically to be slack, idle, or disheartened, cf. Prov. 18:9; 24:10.

Joshua wants these remaining tribes to act on YHWH’s promises and possess their inheritance! The very act of these tribal representatives walking on the land was a symbol of possession (cf. Gen. 13:17; Num. 13:17-24).

Psalm 13-17

These 4 chapters, to me this week are very difficult to comment on. They strike very close to home and the turmoil that is surrounding me for teaching you the things I have shown you. I will leave it at that. But now I see that I will end up explaining it as we look at Mathew.

But for me David is under a great deal of stress as his enemies are attacking or plotting to attack and David is looking to Yahovah for deliverance.

Mathew 10

Having now read these Psalms I just knew what I was about to read in Mathew 10 was going to tie into this and in fact the events of my life this past few weeks.

Let us now go through this. I have to make this personal as each of you should when you read the scriptures. I will interject as we go.

Mathew 10: 1 And having called His twelve taught ones near, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every bodily weakness.

Each of us, who are righteous, as we have explained above, has this authority now. But what so many of us have, is a lack of faith. You just do not believe it. I myself am guilty of this more times than I care to mention. I urge you and myself to begin to exercise your authority as we are told to do in verse 38. 38 “And he who does not take up his stake and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.

In the Aramaic of this verse the word used in most translations is the word cross. Here the Scriptures uses the word stake. The Aramaic uses the word staff which is in reference to the authority that is given to you. The staff represents the authority of the shepherd . Take up your authority and follow Him.

2 And these are the names of the twelve emissaries: first, Shim?on, who is called K?pha, and Andri his brother; Ya?aqob? the son of Zab?dai, and Yoh?anan his brother; 3 Philip and Bartholomi; T’oma and Mattithyahu the tax collector; Ya?aqob? the son of Alphai, and Lab?ai whose last name was Taddai; 4 Shim?on the Kena?anite, and Yehud?ah from Qerioth, who did also deliver Him up. 5 ????? sent these twelve out, having commanded them, saying, “Do not go into the way of the gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Shomeronites, 6 but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Yisra’?l.

Please read this verse carefully. Does it say anywhere in it that you are to go and proselytize the house of Judah? No you are to teach the lost sheep of the HOUSE OF ISRAEL. The house of Joseph and you are to teach them to keep Torah which Judah is already doing for better or worst. So many of you think you are so much better than Judah and unabashedly write me to tell me so, when in fact you are so far from the truth, just because you follow Jesus. I say Jesus because he is the one many of you follow who does not keep Torah. But Yeshua here did keep Torah and never sinned, yet He is the one you will not follow.

7 “And as you go, proclaim, saying, ‘The reign of the heavens has drawn near.’ 8 “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. You have received without paying, give without being paid. 9 “Do not acquire gold or silver or copper for your money belts, 10 or a bag for the journey, or two undergarments, or sandals, or staffs, for the worker is worthy of his food.

Most of you have never paid for any of the teachings on this site. I have given without being paid to do so, you need to turn around and give these truths to others and expect nothing in return. You need to realize that you will only get your food as payment and not great financial rewards. Why is this? I am going to post a study about the Bond servant at the end of this study. Each of us who claim to belong to Yahovah need to consider this article.

11 “And into whatever city or village you enter, ask who is worthy in it, and stay there until you leave. 12 “And as you enter into a house, greet it. 13 “And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 “And whoever does not receive you nor hear your words, when you leave that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. 15 “Truly, I say to you, it shall be more bearable for the land of Sodom and Amorah in the day of judgment than for that city! 16 “See, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.

The rest of this chapter along with the Psalms we have just read are striking close to home.

17 “But beware of men, for they shall deliver you up to Sanhedrin’s and flog you in their congregations. 18 “And you shall be brought before governors and sovereigns for My sake, as a witness to them and to the gentiles. 19 “But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it shall be given to you in that hour what you shall speak, 20 for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking in you. 21 “And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and a father his child. And children shall rise up against parents and shall put them to death. 22 “And you shall be hated by all for My Name’s sake. But he who shall have endured to the end shall be saved.

As I study this week’s triennial portion, my wife and children are in an uproar over the fact that I plan on going to Israel. They are seeking legal advice and the advice from other friends and their family. These so called friends and family are so quick to caste me to the ground and slander my name to my wife. It is like poison feeding on more poison as they talk about how horrible I am for keeping Torah and teaching people these false teachings as they see them. They now accuse me of being a false prophet yet they will not open the bible to see what one is and as such have no idea what the scriptures say. This does not stop them from accusing me of teaching falsities.

I have asked and wanted my wife to come to Israel with me. The children have left the home. I wanted her to see what I see there and what I show other people. As we begin to sell our house all hell is breaking out with so many others chiming in with their thoughts and unasked for opinions. You never know how lonely it is until you see all your family and friends turn on you because you choose to follow the bible even though they all claim to do the same thing. They claim to be Christian but hate you for teaching the bible. They claim to follow Jesus but when you actually do follow Yeshua you are hated beyond words, by those whom you love.

We are told how to deal with this in Mathew 5: 43 “You heard that it was said,1 ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those cursing you, do good to those hating you, and pray for those insulting you and persecuting you, 45 so that you become sons of your Father in the heavens.

23 “And when they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For truly, I say to you, you shall by no means have gone through the cities of Yisrael before the Son of Adam comes. 24 “A taught one is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. 25 “It is enough for the taught one to become like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Be?elzebul, how much more those of his household!

In Mathew 12: 24 But when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This one does not cast out demons except by Be?elzebul, the ruler of the demons
So when Yeshua speaks of the master of the house He is referring to Himself and we are those of His household. He is warning us that we too will be accused of being under the sway of demons.

26 “Therefore do not fear them. For whatever is covered shall be revealed, and whatever is hidden shall be made known. 27 “What I say to you in the dark, speak in the light. And what you hear in the ear, proclaim on the house-tops.

We are told not to be silent about the truths we have heard and that we are to shout them out for all to hear.

28 “And do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the being. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both being and body in Gehenna. 29 “Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground without your Father. 30 “And even the hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 “So do not fear, you are worth more than many sparrows.

32 “Everyone, therefore, who shall confess Me before men, him I shall also confess before My Father who is in the heavens. 33 “But whoever shall deny Me before men, him I shall also deny before My Father who is in the heavens. 34 “Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword, 35 for I have come to bring division, a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law – 36 and a man’s enemies are those of his own household. 37 “He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me, and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

I missed this part of the agreement when I signed on. I may have read it but I surely did not understand what it meant. But I most certainly do so now with bells and whistles. And even though we are given a promise in chapter 19, it does not soften the hurt now that many of us in this situation feel. The hurt is beyond my abilities to express it here. I have written on this to some of my closest friends. It is full of emotion and tears and sorrow. And every day brings more hurtful words from the ones you love and from the ones I have done this whole thing for. For my Family; it is for them that I labour in hopes that they might one day begin to study the Torah and that I might be able to share with them the little I know. I do this for them, and yet it is they who hate me the most. They are so embarrassed by me that they avoid coming over or bringing any friends.

Mathew 19:29 “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My Name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. 30 “But many who are first shall be last, and the last first.

Right now this verse does not make me any more joyful. I look forward to the time when my life will be full of joy but now, the hurt is too close and too personal and too deep and as David said in the Psalms we feel very much alone in our walk at this time. I speak for all of us in this situation. I am not looking for 100 other wives or hundreds of other children. I am looking for the ones I have already begotten and this hurts deep down inside beyond words. As David bemoans the loss of Absolom each of us moans the loss of our own spouses and children. 2Samuel 19:4 And the sovereign covered his face, and the sovereign cried out with a loud voice, “O my son Ab?shalom! O Ab?shalom, my son, my son!”

Luke 14: 26 “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers, and sisters, and his own life too, he is unable to be My taught one. 27 “And whoever does not bear his stake (Authority) and come after Me is unable to be My taught one.

This is Yeshua who did not come to bring peace but a sword to divide those who would obey from those who will not, does he sound like the Sunday morning Jesus so many profess to follow? Not at all. He is separating the goats and the sheep; He is dividing the flocks, and sorting them and sifting them to know that they are His. This never is an easy job; it is always rough and involves a great deal of pain, because we were so deeply mixed into the false teaching of the world.

Peace is not the absence of war, but true peace is being willing to go to war to have peace. The Peace that is only going to be attained is when the entire world keeps the Torah together and this is what Yahshua is talking about. Only then will there be peace. When we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, it is not for the absence of war although this is part of it; it is for the Torah to come from Jerusalem to the whole world. It is only then that there will be peace. And this is why there is so much fighting amongst those families who are divided between keeping Torah and those who will not. You can read more on this at Blessed is a Peacemaker

38 “And he who does not take up his stake and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39 “He who has found his life shall lose it, and he that has lost his life for My sake shall find it. 40 “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. 41 “He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous one in the name of a righteous one shall receive a righteous one’s reward. 42 “And whoever gives one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a taught one, truly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”

I am sorry for expressing my hurts here this week brethren. But this chapter is one of those that hits so close to my heart. I have no family and no relatives that keep this way of life and follow Torah. I have a few friends who live on the other side of the world, but none I can go and have coffee with. It is extremely lonely much of the time, and this is why I can empathize with others who are in similar situations.

But most of all those of us who have lost all family members can now relate extremely closely to Yeshua who is working for the love of His life, Israel the betrothed who rejected Him and has spurned His teachings and His way of life. The wife who hates Him for changing the way things are and trying to make things better. Yes Brethren, Yeshua too was married to an unconverted mate and knows what that is like to be hated by those of His own family.

We can feel the hurt that He feels for Israel who does not understand and does not want to understand at this time. We can empathize with Him like many others cannot.

So if I sound off on some of you because of the heartless things some of you say, now you may understand why. And if I post way too many emails in each News Letter in support of what I am doing here, now you also know why. It is more for me than for you.

Years ago I prayed for wisdom and Knowledge and understanding. I said this prayer many times thinking it was a good thing to do, a good thing to attain to. I have just come across the following scripture. Again another part of the written word which has escaped me until now.

Ecclesiastes 1:18 For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief.

Jeremiah 20:18 Why did I ever come out of the womb to see trouble and sorrow and to end my days in shame?

Psalm 13: 2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?

Psalm 6: 7 My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes.

I am extremely hurt and sad these days Brethren and my eyes sting from the salt of my tears more often than I care to say. But I have not given up nor thrown in the towel. I share these things with you so that you may take courage, you are not alone and neither am I although at times it feels like we are. Our joy will be given back to us a hundred fold and for that day I eagerly yearn.
