Connecting The 8th Day

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah, this Sabbath is the Sixth of the Sabbaths of counting the Omer.

Here we are with yet another barley report, and this time it is from Devorah Gordon. I have posted it in the newsletter for you all to read and to watch. I hope you are learning about the word Aviv and can now explain what the month of Aviv is. I understand it is hard when one group says it is the 3rd month and another says it is the 2nd month and then the majority of the Karaites and Michael Rood’s people are all saying it is now the 1st month.

Then, with the fighting that some want to do and the name-calling, I can fully understand why some return to keeping the Hillel calendar and others sadly walk away altogether. I get it. This is why you need to learn to judge for yourself. Much of this confusion is caused by the word Aviv, which has become so misunderstood. Look up the meaning of the word yourself. Is this the month of Aviv when you look at the picture Devorah shows you? Was Last month the month of Aviv using that exact definition from Strongs? Or was the month of GREEN TENDER EARS the month when we declared it from Feb 12 to March 11, with Wave Sheaf Day on March 3, 2024?

The Truth does matter. But if you do not know what the truth is, then how can you judge? You need to learn exactly what Aviv is. Not what others tell you it is. Do your own research and understand the truth. Aviv is Green Tender Ears.

We are with this Sabbath on our 6th Sabbath in counting the Omer. We are just one week away from Shavuot. Some are saying we are too early. No they are actually late. We have an article about the record-breaking temperatures around the world. Stop and think about what that might mean. If temperatures continue to rise as prophecied, then maybe the crops might have a shorter or earlier time to ripen due to the increase in temperatures??? Maybe??

At the time of this writing, we are watching for and waiting for Iran’s retaliatory attack on Israel. We are also watching President Biden abandon Israel and pressuring Israel in favour of Iran to prevent a Middle East-expanded war. Although we expected something on the 8th or 9th of April, nothing came other than the eclipse itself. We have again provided all the dates and why we are watching them in this newsletter. We continue to watch.

I wanted to explain the connection to the 8th day that is so obvious here at Shavuot. We are going to do that this week and hopefully show you some deeper understanding. But we will have still more for next week.

Yeshua said Elijah would restore all things when he came. What things need to be restored? Do you know? Have you ever considered what has to be restored and what that would look like in 2024? When were those things taken away and by whom? Why has no one told you what these things are that must be restored?

We do in our recent book The Restoration of All Things. Once you know what was lost, then you will know what to look for and see if those things are being restored. We have shown you through the Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles that we are in the final 10 years of judgment right now. You know they are about to sacrifice a Red Heifer and they have a person ready to do this who has never touched a dead body or been defiled. And you also know they have four Red Heifers that are blemish-free and ready to be sacrificed. We have been warning of the two witnesses coming in the year 2026, which is 2300 days after March 25, 2020. When they do come there will be no rain for 3 1/2 years and with world temperature already going through the roof, this prophecy is gearing up to come to pass. 2024 is already setting records for the hottest year ever.

So, do you know how to recognize those people who could be Elijah, or are you going to miss this event because you are looking for a king to come first? Order your copy at this link.

Torah Portion

Torah Portions

We read through the entire Torah along with the Prophets and the New Testament, once over the course of 3 1/2 years. Or according to the Sabbatical Cycle which means we read it all twice over a 7-year period. This allows us to cover more in-depth rather than being rushed to cover as much as is covered on an annual basis. We allow all to comment and take part in the discussions.

Septennial Torah Portion

If you go to Torah Portion at our archived section, you can then go to the 7th year which is the 7th year of the Sabbatical Cycle, the one we are in now, as we state at the top of every News Letter. There you can scroll down to the proper date, and see that this Shabbat we could very well be midrashing about:

Genesis 9

Joshua 21-22

Psalm 19

Matthew 12:22_13:23

We are in the 1st Sabbatical Cycle in 2024-2023. We go through the entire bible twice in a 7 year cycle. This means we cover the entire bible once every 3 1/2 years. It gives us more time to debate and discuss each portion we read.

If you missed last week’s exciting discoveries as we studied that section, you can go and watch past Shabbats on our media section.

Join Our Sabbath Meetings

Join Our Sabbath Meetings

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers songs and teaching from this hour.

Shabbat Services will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.

On Shavuot, Sunday April 21, 2024, we will be having two meetings. One at 10 AM Eastern and the afternoon will be 2 PM Eastern. Look forward to seeing you all there.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

Joseph Dumond is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Counting the Omer Week Six

Counting the Omer Week Six

Sunday March 3, 2024 is יוֹם הֲנָפַת הָעֹמֶר Yom Hanafat Ha’omer (Day of the Waving of the Sheaf).

When the Temple stood, this day marked the official commencement of the grain harvest.

Deuteronomy 16:9 You shall count seven weeks to yourselves. Begin to count the seven weeks from the time you began to put the sickle to the grain.
And sheaves of barley were cut and brought to the Temple as a wave-offering on Wave Sheaf Day. It is done on behalf of the nation. One Omer’s worth is two dry litres of flour.

Leviticus 23:9-14  9 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 10 Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap the harvest of it, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 And he shall wave the sheaf before Jehovah to be received for you. On the next day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12 And you shall offer that day when you wave the sheaf, a male lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering to Jehovah. 13 And its food offering shall be two-tenths part of fine flour mixed with oil, a fire offering to Jehovah for a sweet savor. And the drink offering of it shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin. 14 And you shall eat neither bread, nor parched grain, nor green ears, until the same day, until you have brought an offering to your God. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
This day also marks the beginning of the 50-day count to חַג הַשָּׁבֻעוֹת Shavuot (Pentecost; Feast of Weeks). Yom Hanafat Ha’omer is counted as Day 1 and Shavuot as Day 50.

There are different methods of counting the 50 days. According to some, the commandment ‘and you shall count for yourselves fifty days’ means to simply observe the 50th day as Shavuot, while others actually declare out loud the number of each of the fifty days. A medieval Karaite Jewish practice combines two methods of declaring the daily count. The first method is the counting of seven weeks. Each day, the number of the week and the number of the day in the week are declared. So for example, the first day is ‘first day of the first week’. The second counting method used is an overall number for each day. In this method Day one is ‘the first day’ and Day 25 is ‘the twenty-fifth day’. These two methods are used to satisfy the commandment to count seven weeks (Deuteronomy 16:9) as well as the commandment to count fifty days (Leviticus 23:16). Below is a list of the counting for each day.

Lev 23:15 And you shall count to you from the next day after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete.

Lev 23:16 To the next day after the seventh sabbath you shall number fifty days. And you shall offer a new food offering to Jehovah.

You are to count seven sabbaths, as we are commanded in verse 15, and 50 days, as we are told in verse 16. In Deuteronomy, we are commanded to count from the time we put the sickle to the grain.

Deu 16:9 You shall count seven weeks to yourselves. Begin to count the seven weeks from the time you began to put the sickle to the grain.

If you get the timing wrong about when the month of Aviv begins, then people will declare you can cut the barley and store it. This is not what Deut 16:9 says. When you put the sickle to the grain, you begin to count. But you are also told to take the barley on the first day of the week during the days of Unleavened Bread. It is because they have errored about when Aviv is that the other groups all say you can harvest anytime and store the grain and then later make your first fruits offering. Understand and know the facts.

New Moon of the 3rd Month

New Moon of the 3rd Month

The New Moon has been seen from Israel on Tuesday evening making the first day of the 3rd month Wednesday April 10, 2024.

Why Do We Silage Wheat?

Why Do We Silage Wheat?

I know most of you reading this have not grown up on a farm. The closest some of you have been to a farm is when you buy a bag of milk, a box of Cornflakes, or Cheerios. I am not making fun of you, but I understand why some do not grasp what we teach here. But I will try to help you to understand.

Last Sabbath, March 30th, 2024, was the 28th day of counting the Omer. Our first day of counting was on March 3, 2024. March 31, 2024, was Wave Sheaf Day for some people. It was then their first day of counting the Omer. For others, Wave Sheaf Day is not until April 28.

Then from each of these Wave Sheaf Days you must now count 50 days until the first of the Wheat or the Yom HaBikkerim wheat harvest begins.

So, Shavuot will be on April 21 for us, May 19 for the second group, and June 16 for the third group.

Yes, we believe in the seven species coming to fruition at the proper time, ready to be the FIRST FRUITS OFFERING. Shavuot, you are to offer the first fruits of the wheat harvest in the form of two loaves of bread with leaven in them.

I received a picture last Sabbath, and we have had others of the wheat fields being cut on March 29 for silage.

The following picture taken by יפעת ינוקא

Why would a farmer plant wheat, which is what this crop is, and then cut it before it was 100% ripe? Look at the tractor. It is not a combine for harvesting wheat. It is a tractor for mower or cutting the crop and putting it in rows to dry out. Why is he doing this?

After spending all that money to plant the field with wheat, why on earth waste it on silage?

Allow me to share a study about the nutrient value of silage at various stages of growth. Go to the charts at the link if you want to see more.

Typical recommendations for harvesting cereal small grains for silage have been an issue for many years. If the main goal is to maximize silage nutritive value, without considering DM yield then, the recommendation has been to harvest at boot stage. On the other hand, if the main goal is to maximize yield without sacrificing nutritive value, then the recommendations is to harvest at soft-dough stage. Harvesting at boot stage DM yield is lower by 31% (7.4 Ton/ha) relative to soft-dough stage. These recommendations have been developed from the agronomic standpoint and laboratory analysis, without feeding to dairy cows (Contreras- Govea et al., 2006; Coblentz et al., 2018).

In a recent study conducted by Randby et al. (2019), whole wheat was harvested at two maturity stages, early dough and soft to hard dough, and then baled and wrapped in plastic without additives for a minimum of 90 days. After a period of fermentation, bales were frozen and kept in the freezer until the feeding trial started. Before starting of the trial, half of the bales from each maturity stage were processed to reduce the particle size of the kernels. Then from each part of the wheat silage at each maturity stage, processed and no-processed, 4 treatments total, were formulated the four diets.

Whole wheat silage was offered ad libitum as the only forage, plus 7.5 kg/d of supplemental concentrate to midlactation dairy cows (average of 155 DIM and 22.1 milk kg/d). Many data for different parameters were collected from this study, but the main purpose of this interpretation is to highlight differences between the whole wheat maturity stages and the effect on cow’s performance.

The results indicated that there were not effects of wheat processing on any of the nutritive value parameters. Therefore, unprocessed and processed values were averaged (Table 1). Whole wheat nutritive value, protein, NDF, ADF, and in vitro digestibility were similar between the two maturity stages, which differs from previous studies, where typically NDF and ADF increase and digestibility decrease as maturity progress. On the hand, starch content was greater on the soft dough stage than on early dough. Such small difference between the nutritive value of the two wheat silages could explain the similar cow’s performance, even the greater DM intake and milk yield of cows fed soft dough wheat, which had greater starch content.

In summary, whole wheat silage harvested in either early dough or soft dough stage can be fed to midlactation dairy cows without precluding cow’s performance. However, a different cow’s performance could be expected from early lactating cows.

When is the best time to harvest wheat silage, so that it is best for the dairy cows?

The fiber, energy, protein, calcium and phosphorus data of Tables 1 and 2 and Figure 1 indicate that the best time to cut wheat as a forage for dairy cows is from boot to early head. At these two stages, energy was 68 to 76 therms per 100 pounds and crude protein was about 15 to 21 percent. The high producing cow should be getting about 70 therms of energy per 100 pounds dry matter and 15 percent crude protein, according to National Research Council recommendations. Thus, wheat for silage cut by boot or early head will contain enough energy and protein when fed in combination with a balanced grain ration to sustain high milk production.

Harvest probably should begin when the wheat just reaches the boot stage; if harvest proceeds quickly without interruptions from weather, etc., the last silage cut should be in the early head stage. Letting wheat progress to mid-head decreases energy and crude protein and creates a need for greater supplementation. Figure 1 illustrates this point: Two horizontal lines represent energy and protein requirements of the high producer. Wheat cut at boot and early head has energy and protein content above levels required for high producers. However, cows cannot eat enough wheat silage cut at boot and early head to meet energy requirements, and concentrates will be needed. Wheat cut at mid-head and later stages is below energy and protein requirements for high producers.

Although greater yields most likely would result if wheat is left to mature to the late head, milk, dough or seed stages, the wheat has less energy and protein (about 50 therms per 100 pounds and 8 to 10 percent crude protein). This is no better than average hay. Cows are not likely to produce at their maximum when consuming wheat forage cut later than early head.

Feekes 10.1 Boot stage awns visible Feekes 10.5.1 Beginning flowering

The head is fully developed and can be easily seen in the swollen section of the leaf sheath below the flag leaf. The Feekes growth scale at stage 10 is divided as follows:
Feekes 10.0 boot stage
Feekes 10.1 awns visible, heads emerging through slit of flag leaf sheath
Feekes 10.2 heading 1/4 complete
Feekes 10.3 heading 1/2 complete
Feekes 10.4 heading 3/4 complete
Feekes 10.5 heading complete
Feekes 10.5.1 beginning flowering
Feekes 10.5.2 flowering complete to top of spike
Feekes 10.5.3 flowering complete to base of spike
Feekes 10.5.4 kernels watery ripe
Wheat is largely self pollinating. Most florets are pollinated before anthers are extruded. Although tillers have developed over a several week period, bloom in a given wheat plant is usually complete in a few days. After Feekes stage 10.5.3, remaining growth stages refer to ripeness or maturity of the kernel.

The grain fill period of wheat varies somewhat, depending upon climate. It is typically as little as 30 days in high stress environments, and may exceed 50 days in high yield, low stress environments.

On February 5, 2024, Marina Levi posted this picture on Facebook of the wheat just coming out of the boot around the Gaza Strip area. In the video on Instagram, you can see that the rest of the field does not have many heads coming out at this time. If we use the FEEKE’S chart above and then add 50 days to the Flowering stage, which is a 10.5 on the Feekes Scale, we will end up on March 25, 58 + 50 = 108 on the scale. If we use the scale with the heads of wheat just coming out of the boot, Feeke’s 10.1, then we end up on Feeke’s scale at the 100-day part of the scale on March 25, as well.

This next picture was taken by Marina Levi and posted on Facebook on March 10, 2024, from the Gaza Strip area. You can see the heads are heavier and beginning to lean, changing from green to a golden tinge. These heads are well past the flowering stage and somewhere around Feeke’s stage 11, which is about 75 days, give or take a few days. If you look closely, you can also see some of the stocks turning brown. According to the Feekes scale if we add 25 more days to this date the wheat will be 100 days and ready on about April 3, 2024.

Marina works in agriculture for many different farmers, so she has a wide variety of experience in everything from wheat to potatoes to oranges and avocados. She does it all by working on many farms, and we can see the state of the land everywhere in the south where she is working.

In the next two pictures, the wheat is being cut for silage. It is not left to dry out very much in the fields to keep as many of the nutrients in the wheat silage as possible, which is going to be used for Dairy Cow feed, as I shared with you above. It is cut after it heads and before it turns into a solid seed. It is cut in the dough range, approximately from about 10.5 to 11.2 or the 58 to 80 day range on the Feeke’s scale.

Last week, we posted our cover picture of the wheat in the early stages of golden. I will post it again below. They are from the Megiddo area and taken on March 28 and 29, 2024, by יפעת ינוקא

What stage would you put this wheat at? Notice the stems are now turning golden. Using Feeke’s Scale, it has to be past the flowering stage of 10.5 or 58 days. I would say it is past the first stage of ripening and about Feeke’s 11.2, whereas Feeke’s 11.4 is harvest-ready. Can you see this?

So here is the problem as of this day, March 31, as I prepare this newsletter for the next Sabbath on April 6.

There is one group of brethren who are just now (March 31, 2024) keeping Wave Sheaf Day for the Barley. Randy and I confirmed the barley was Aviv on March 3, 2024. They strongly disagreed. Yet here we are when they claim it to be the time when the barley is to be harvested, and we can see the wheat is almost ready. In fact, in Brian Convery’s report of March 26, 2024, he stated this referring to the pictures he had posted:

Now notice what we no longer see growing in them. Correct, no more wild barley towering above them. It has already shattered and fallen to the earth.

He is telling you the barley has already shattered and reseeded itself. You are not allowed to harvest the barley until Wave Sheaf Day, which for him is March 31, the night before. If the barley is already shattering, then you are a month too late in your declaration. It is no longer the FIRST FRUITS that you bring to the Temple, but the last fruits, like Cain did, which we showed you in our video two weeks ago.

On Friday, March 29, 2024, Brian posted the following:

Just think Wavesheaf day is only two more days away so lets check on the imminent start to the Harvest.
Yifat and Elad are in agreement: the domestic barley and wheat are ready to bundle into sheaves on Sunday or when the folks get back from the Feast of UB.
In the third photo I have circled some of the last remnants of wild barley growing with their sisters the barley and their cousins the wheat that are still to be found in this region. Remember earlier in the year how much wild barley was towering over their relatives in these fields in Galed.

He is telling you that both the barley and the wheat are ready to harvest. WHAT? If March 31 is Wave Sheaf Day, then the first fruits of barley are to be waved, not wheat, and most definitely not both together. This is another indication that he is one month too late in timing the feasts this year.

On March 30, 2024, Brian posted the following comment. Please stop and think about what he is stating here for the higher elevations in the north. Then, what does this mean for the lower elevation in the south near Re’im? Randy and I reported the Barley Aviv on March 3, 2024.

Good Morning Brethren and a happy Sabbath rejuvenation to you.
With this being day 5 in our keeping of the days of UB and Wavesheaf Day taking place tomorrow we thought it a good time to post some of the barley and wheat fields in the high elevations in the Center and the North being cut for hay. These are not silage operations. The hay will be dried in the field for a number of days being turned at least once to insure no moisture left in it. Once again this is barley and wheat as we have talked about in depth for those who have ears to listen. (first 5 pictures)
All of these locations have reached the dough stages due to the intense sun, heat, and wind Father has applied to it and is continuing to apply to the Land. Yes, even in the high elevations and in the North rim of the Jezreel Valley.

As of this writing, March 31, 2024, those of us who kept Wave Sheaf Day on March 3, 2024, now have three more weeks or 21 days until the first of the wheat harvest can be offered to Yehovah. Anyone with honest eyes can see that the wheat is headed and starting to turn golden. It is on the Feeke’s scale somewhere in the 11 stage. It is 25 days until it reaches maturity, and I am only looking for 21 more days until Shavuot on April 21, 2024. HMMM. I wonder if we might just be right about keeping Passover last month.

Those keeping Wave Sheaf Day on March 31 now must count 50 days to the Shavuot Wheat First Fruits harvest, which, as we said for them, is now May 19 or 50 days from March 31. Trouble is, as Brian has testified, the wheat is now ripe. It is ripe now, according to Brian. So, the FIRST FRUITS are ripe now, and in 50 days, they will no longer be the first fruits, but they will be leftovers that they will present to Yehovah. Again, according to what Cain offered, this will not be acceptable.

But then there are the other groups who are keeping Passover about the same time as Hillel, based on the testimony of Yoel and Devorah who will be keeping it at that time. Brian is stating the barley is already shattered and not to be seen now. They will have none by the time they keep Wave Sheaf Day on April 28. And then 50 days after this is June 16. That is a full 10 weeks, or 70 days from now. Look at the pictures of the harvesting going on now. What will be left by April 22?

If Feeke’s scale shows us the wheat is somewhere around stage 11 now,  with at most 25 days more until maturity, then where will the wheat be in the south in 70 days?

Then again on Sunday March 31, Brian posted the following comment:

Some keep asking about the wild barley. I simple tell them to go back and follow along for the past month of posts and you will be able to chew on all the facts. Most of the wild in 2 of the grain growing regions has already dispersed their seeds, both goat grass and acceptable wild.

He again tells you there is no barley available for Wave Sheaf Day because it has already shattered. This is a clear indication he is one month late. None of the pictures he posts belong to him but come from others on the Facebook page about Nature in Israel https://www.facebook.com/groups/1629688417246907

YOu can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink. You can provide all the facts to the world, but you can’t make a person think. We need many more critical thinkers watching and looking for the first of the seven species to be ripe at the proper times. Join this group on Facebook and watch and see the beauty of the land at the same time. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1629688417246907

Brian also posted this picture, which is from the Megiddo area and taken on March 28 and 29, 2024, by יפעת ינוקא

The first two of the Seven Species have come right on time. We are watching for the completion of the wheat cycle and then in two months time the first of the grapes. This would be from June 8 to July 7, 2024. This is the 5th month when the 10 spies brought back the large bunch of grapes.

Num 13:23 And they came to the valley of Eshcol and cut from there a branch with one cluster of grapes. And they carried it between two men upon a staff, and some of the pomegranates and of the figs.

Num 13:24 The place was called the valley of Eshcol because of the cluster of grapes which the sons of Israel cut down from there.

When they returned with the fruit of the land, they also brought an evil report. This is when the 9th of Av curse was given to them to wander in the wilderness for 40 years.

April 1, 2024: Look at this Stalk of Wheat.

Then, once you look at this one stalk, look at the fields behind it. This is taken by a lady working in agriculture in various forms around the Gaza Strip area. Randy and I declared the Barley Aviv and Wave Sheaf Day in the same area on March 3, 2024. Now, the wheat is turning golden yellow. By the time you read this, we will have just two more weeks to offer the first of the first fruits of wheat on Sunday, April 21. On April 22, many of the Kariates will be offering their barley, or the last fruits, for their Wave Sheaf Day.

The picture is taken by Marina Furman-Levi in the Gaza strip March 31, and posted April 1, 2024 on Facebook.

Some are accusing me of presenting a false picture, stating that this does not count because it is domestic wheat. Yes it is domestic wheat. What else did they plant? They did not plant wild wheat nor did they harvest wild wheat. It is a Takanot.

Some have proposed that we must only use wild emmer wheat to harvest at Shavuot. I also went along with this for a time. The trouble is no one in Israel plants it or harvests it. The reason is simple.

Although cultivated in ancient Egypt, wild emmer is not cultivated for human consumption in recent history,[7] perhaps owing to the difficulty with which the chaff is separated from the seed kernels, formerly requiring the spikes to be pounded with mortar and pestle.[10]

The wheat used today for bread (Triticum Aestivum), originates from wild wheat, and is one of the most important crops in the world today, along with corn and rice. It originally developed in the Fertile Crescent, (the land from ancient Mesopotamia (Iraq of today) to Egypt, including Israel. Wheat is the first crop listed in the seven species of Israel, the “Land of wheat and barley and vines and figs and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey” (Exodus 8:8) and the many different names that the Torah uses to describe wheat in its various stages of growth and development indicate how important wheat is seen to be for mankind.

When you create a Takanot or Mai’sim you are adding to the Torah. Yehovah is asking us to gather the first fruits to the land. the First Fruits of the seven species and to give them to Him.

I am not attacking any of the barley searchers for their beliefs. It has nothing to do with me or anyone else. It all has to do with serving Yehovah and keeping HIs feasts at the proper time. I have what I beleoive to be a proper understanding. Others have a different view. That does not make me hate them. BUt it does and has caused some brethren to hate me and my reports. This is sad. We are to wrestle with the word to discover the truth and then to repent and return to it when we learn it.

I do not think Devorah reads my newsletter. If she did she would not need to go out and do a search. One of the differences between us is the question about when can you harvest the barley. We have made our case and our video about this. Now you can read what she has to say about this matter and you decide.

Dear Friends,

As we’re preparing to carry out our 3rd Barley Inspection of the season next week, we would like to take this opportunity to respond to your questions regarding whether we’re permitted to harvest before Yom HaNafat HaOmer (The Day of the Wave Sheaf Offering).

We understand this question stems from “Yom HaNafat HaOmer (The Day of the Wave Sheaf Offering)”, being referred to as “when the sickle begins on the standing grain”, in Deuteronomy 16:9.And while some have interpreted this to mean that we can’t harvest before YomHaNafat HaOmer (The Day of the Wave Sheaf Offering), that’s not our understanding.

When look at this verse in its context (Dt 16:9-12), we see that it’s talking about ChagHaShavuot (Feast of Weeks), and seems to simply be using the phrase “when the sickle begins on the standing grain”, as a euphemism for Yom HaNafat HaOmer (The Day of the Wave Sheaf Offering), in order to point to the fact that the seven-week count (Lev 23:15), begins with us celebrating the start of the grain harvest(barley) (Lev 23:10), and culminates with us we celebrating the end of the grain harvest (wheat), on Chag HaShavuot (Feast of Weeks).

The understanding that we’re permitted to harvest before Yom HaNafat HaOmer (The Day of the Wave Sheaf Offering), is also supported by the fact that the omer, which we bring to the priest on Chag HaMatzot (Feast of Unleavened Bread), is from the harvest(Lev 23:10), and the fact that we need to harvest when the barley fields becomes ripe, or the heads will shatter (Ex 9:31, Mark 4:29).

Now, as you can imagine, those who believe this verse is insinuating that we’re prohibited from harvesting before Yom HaNafat HaOmer (The Day of the Wave Sheaf Offering), are forced to begin the year very early in the solar cycle, so that when the fields need to be harvested, they will be able to do so, and not lose their crop.

That’s why we see some people beginning the year with only an omer of Aviv Barley (what percentage of that “omer” is actually Aviv is questionable), from a single field, with poor soil health (others look at a cultivated strain of planted barley which ripens quickly), often times the field is in the desert (Negev), and some even think finding this by Yom HaNafat HaOmer (The Day of the Wave Sheaf Offering)even if it falls towards the end of the holiday, or it’s snowing in Jerusalem, are all fine for beginning the new year. Again, this is because if one believes we’re prohibited from harvesting before Yom HaNafat HaOmer (The Day of the Wave Sheaf Offering), they need to try and grab on to any sort of proof that it’s the beginning of the year, no matter how much of a stretch that may be.

In our opinion, those are not signs of the beginning of the year, and only exemplify that, the understanding that we can’t harvest before Yom HaNafat HaOmer (The Day of the Wave Sheaf Offering), is not correct.

In summation, there doesn’t appear to be a prohibition against harvesting before Yom HaNafat HaOmer (The Day of the Wave Sheaf Offering), however we are prohibited from eating from the harvest before the Wave Offering is brought (Lev 23:14).

We are planning on carrying out another Barley Inspection just prior to the upcoming New Moon Observation (9 April2024), so be sure to subscribe to our newsletter and social media

platforms, so you receive that report as soon as it comes out.

Allow me to share one really cool picture here with you next. Picture was taken April 3, 2024 by דוד דניאל Israel is so beautiful.

Wheat Silage Continued

Wheat Silage Continued

I wanted to show you how big the wheat silage operation is in Israel. This is to follow up on our explanation last week about when wheat is silaged. These three videos are from 2023.

In this next video pay attention to when the silage is harvested. It says when the Wheat is in the flowering to soft dough stage. Last week, we showed a number of pictures of the wheat fields being harvested for silage. This video just confirms what we were showing you with the Feekes charts and how much time it takes until the wheat is golden brown and ready to harvest for cereal grains.

This next video is from March 28, 2024 in Emek Hefer. Just do the math now that you know when silage is cut and how much longer until the wheat is ripe. About 25 to 45 days.

Devorah's Barley Report

Devorah’s Barley Report

In the following report from Devorah about the status of the barley, I want you to watch and listen to what she says. Like Brian Convery, who reported that both the barley and the wheat are ready to harvest on March 31, 2024, Devorah is saying the exact same thing only for her Passover is on April 23, and her Wave Shead Day is not until April 28, 2024. But she too is saying that the Barley in the Jordan Valley is ready now. When Randy and I reported on the Jordan Valley, it was about a week or two behind what we reported on in Re’im. You must learn to judge. Is what either one of them presenting to you the FRIST FRUITS or is it the last fruits of the harvest?

You must also look at the pictures of both and then decide is this past month and or the next month, the month of Green ears? All you have to do is look. You do not have get mad at me or call me a liar or attack me personally. All you have to do is look. Yehovah is your witness. He Yehovah is showing you through the pictures themselves what time of year it is. Truth Matters. Lashon Harah does not change the facts.

Here is the meaning of the Hebrew words Abib.

H24   (Strong) אָבִיב  ‘âbı̂yb   aw-beeb’

From an unused root

(meaning to be tender); green, that is a young ear of grain;

hence the name of the month Abib or Nisan: – Abib, ear, green ears of corn.

As you look at what Devorah is showing you, ask yourself if the barley is young or tender or green. It is really just that simple. Was this last month the month of young green tender ears of barley? Brian Convery testified on March 31, Wave Sheaf Day for those who kept Passover last month, that it was not young or green or tender. Devorah is testifying that the barley is now Aviv (Is it young, tender, and green) and ready for harvesting. Her first month began Wednesday, April 10, with Passover now 15 days from that date. Does it look green or tender or young?

Also of note is that Devorah is now adding a new Takanot. She is now saying because Joshua crossed the Jordan and kept the first Passover in the Jordan Valley, that we should only be looking there.

This week we had heavy rains in Israel. According to Deovrah last year we could not keep Passover if it was still raining. The Tankanot and Mai’sim of all the groups and the mis-application of what Aviv is has confused this entire issue. Stop being blown by every new Takanot that comes up each year. Start to obey Yehovah when He said to obey Him not some personality.

You are to judge angels. But if you can’t judge when to begin the year and you do not know or understand what the month—the whole month of green ears—means, then how can you expect to judge angels who do know? Angels who know what the month of brown ears is.

Those of you following our lead know that we are now in the 3rd month of the year. Brian Convery and his pictures, along with his testimony on March 31, confirmed that the Barley and the wheat were ready to be cut at that time. Devorahs report below should also confirm the fact that the wheat is ready now. Becca declared the field just down the road from where Randy and I stood and declared it was 90% Aviv just a few days after we kept Wave Sheaf Day on March 3, 2024. Even in her recent video she confirms where Randy and I were it was 50% Aviv. No it was all Aviv with Green Tender Ears and it was at the same time at a stage that could be roasted in then ground into flour.

Wave Sheaf Day is when you need the barley to present it. You do not need it by the end of the month before. You do not need it by the 10th day of the month. You do not need fields of it. You do not have to wait until those in the north have it, while it falls to the ground in the south. It can still be raining and cold and you can have snow and the Barley is Aviv. All of these are Takanot and Maisim, manmade traditions added to the Law of Moses. Aviv is Tender Green Ears with enough starch that it can be roasted.

You must know what the word Aviv means. Do not follow the crowd nor let anyone tell you what it means. Look it up and understand. Aviv means tender green ears of grain.

Dear Friends,

We’re glad to be back from our 3rd Barley Inspection of the season, which we carried out on 7 April 2024, and want to thank the Creator for His protection, and all of you, for your heartfelt prayers and support.

We carry out these Barley Inspections, in order to know when to begin the year. Remember, we’re instructed to begin the year with Chodesh HaAviv (Ex 12:2, Ex13:3-4, Ex 23:15, Ex 34:18, Dt 16:1), which is the month in which the barley fields become Aviv in time for the men to bring their omer to the Priest when they go up to the Temple for Chag HaMatzot (Feast of Unleavened) (Lev 23:10).

We concentrate our inspections in the Plains of Jericho, what is today referred to as the Jordan Valley, because this is where the Creator brought us into The Land, and we know the barley becomes Aviv just before Chag HaMatzot (Feast of Unleavened Bread) in this region (Joshua 5:10-12). Remember, we didn’t expand until other regions, with their various climates and weather patterns, until much later, so it can’t be that the beginning of the year is based on them.

Aviv Barley (what modern agronomists refer to as “Soft Dough”), is the earliest stage a grain can be harvested (Ex9:31, Ex 23:15, Lev 23:10, Lev 23:14, Dt 16:9, Dt 16:16-17, Joshua 5:10-12). At this stage, the seeds have just finished developing, and therefore still contain a lot of moisture. Therefore, the stalks either need to swathed, which means cut and left on the ground so the seeds can continue drying out, or the seeds by can dried immediately by parching the heads with fire (Lev 2:14, Lev23:14, Joshua 5:10-12, Rut 2:14, 1 Samuel 17:17, 1 Samuel 25:18, 2 Samuel 17:28).

We focus our inspections on the more natural strains of barley, and on this inspection, we found that the planted fields were Aviv and either waiting to be cut or had recently been swathed, and that the volunteer fields, which by their nature are under more stress, had shattered and new tillers had come up which were Aviv. We are pleased to provide you with the following summary of our survey, along with this accompanying video of our inspection. We don’t inspect the field prior to the filming, so you are literally discovering what’s in the field, right along with us.

00:11 Field #1 – Planted

This planted field was Aviv+.

03:18 Field #2 – Planted

21:26 Field #8 Planted

This planted field had been swathed, which is usually done when it becomes Aviv.

We hope this report has been helpful to you in deciding when to begin the year, and remember, it’s important to begin the year in the month which you believe to be Chodesh HaAviv (Ex 13:3-4, Ex 23:15, Ex 34:18, Dt16:1), regardless of what month you may currently be in. Also, those of us who began last year according to Scenario #3, and decide to begin this year also according to Scenario #3, aren’t doing back-to-back 13th months, it’s simply a 12-month year. And lastly, for those who may be interested, I’m planning on beginning the year with the upcoming New Moon Observation on April 9, 2024(April 10th if the New Moon isn’t sighted).

No One Can Buy or Sell

Below is a recent ad I discovered about an upcoming blockade of the world’s economies.

Coordinated Economic Blockade to Free Palestine

Monday, April 15, 2024

The global economy is complicit in genocide. Join participating cities in blocking the arteries of capitalism and jamming the wheels of production.

In the past six months, since Oct 7, 2023,  we have all witnessed millions going into the streets of major cities around the world protesting in favour of Hamas. LGBTQ, the Liberal Left, and women’s Rights groups are all in support of Hamas condemning Israel. These were a demonstration of the Islamic Jihad flexing their muscle on a worldwide scale. They were shocking to see and terrifying to understand where it was going.

Before this in many of those major cities we saw Muslims take to the street to stop traffic and interrupt society by holding public “peaceful” prayers by the thousands.

Understand this is not freedom of religion. This is a worldwide demonstration of Islam flexing their muscle. You are watching the first white horse of false religion in Revelation Six going out to conquer the world. This is another news headline showing the prophecy Isaac spoke about Esau coming to pass before our very eyes.

The following video is my teaching in 2014. Because of the hate crimes laws in Canada and the growing intolerance to saying anything against Islam, this video has not been able to be promoted. It could get all my videos removed from YouTube. I urge you to watch it and download it to your own computer so you have it. Yes I was skinny then. Yes some of the things I said then I have changed my position on and now have hidesite to look back from. But I want you to pay attention to the description of the four horsemen then. You might also want to see the other teaching I did at this same time about Hitler and his connection to the Middle East problem.

Let’s start with the prophecy from Isaac to Esau and understand what you are witnessing on the news and on April 15, 2024.

Gen 27:39  And Isaac his father answered and said to him, Behold! Your dwelling shall be of the fatness of the earth and of the dew of heaven from above.

Gen 27:40  And by your sword you shall live, and shall serve your brother. And it shall be when you shall have the dominion, you shall break his yoke from off your neck.

This prophecy is coming true now at the end of this age. At the same time when, the ten toes are about to take control of the world.

Rev 13:11  And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. And it had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon.

Rev 13:12  And it exercises all the authority of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and those dwelling in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Rev 13:13  And it does great wonders, so that it makes fire come down from the heaven onto the earth in the sight of men.

Rev 13:14  And it deceives those dwelling on the earth, because of the miracles which were given to it to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth that they should make an image to the beast who had the wound by a sword and lived.

Rev 13:15  And there was given to it to give a spirit to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might both speak, and might cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

Rev 13:16  And it causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark on their right hand, or in their foreheads,

Rev 13:17  even that not any might buy or sell except those having the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of its name.

Rev 13:18  Here is the wisdom. Let him having reason count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. And its number is six hundred and sixty-six.

Now that you have read Rev 13:18, you must be wondering what this number is on the arm and forehead.

I laugh when I make this offer. YOu can get our article The Mark of The Beast for FREE. You are not getting the mark for free but you are getting the article for free. https://sightedmoon.com/mark-of-the-beast-lp/ Just sign up and read it. I also hope you will share it with your church group and family. Everyone needs to understand these things.

We also have another article that goes with it called The Bismallah. https://sightedmoon.com/bismallah-lp/ Just sign up and read them. Again give this URL to your church groups, you pastors and to your family members and understand just how close we are to this horrendous time.

Daniel 2 describes all the Empires that have come and gone, leading up to the time we are in now. The ten toes are the ten kings that are about to come. But they will be in sync with those who have the Bismallah on their arms and foreheads.

Dan 2:39  And after you shall arise another kingdom lower than you, and another third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth.

Dan 2:40  And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron. Since iron crushes and smashes all things; and as the iron that shatters all these, it will crush and shatter.

Dan 2:41  And as to that which you saw: the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay and part of iron; the kingdom shall be divided. But there shall be in it the strength of the iron, because you saw the iron mixed with miry clay.

Dan 2:42  And as the toes of the feet were part of iron and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle.

Dan 2:43  And as you saw iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mix themselves with the seed of men. But they shall not cling to one another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Dan 2:44  And in the days of these kings, the God of Heaven shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed. And the kingdom shall not be left to other peoples, but it shall crush and destroy all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

Dan 2:45  Because you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it crushes the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the great God has made known to the king what shall occur after this. And the dream is certain, and its meaning is sure.

The same dominion given to Esau in the last days will be given to the Beast in the last days from which those ten Kings will arise.

Dan 7:19  Then I wanted to know the truth of the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, very frightening, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of bronze; who devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the rest with his feet;

Dan 7:20  and of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth speaking very great things, whose appearance was greater than his fellows.

Dan 7:21  I watched, and that horn made war with the saints and overcame them

Dan 7:22  until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High. And the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

Dan 7:23  And he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all kingdoms and shall devour the whole earth, and shall trample it and crush it.

Dan 7:24  And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise. And another shall arise after them. And he shall be different from the first, and he shall humble three kings.

Dan 7:25  And he shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and plot to change times and laws. And they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and one-half time.

Dan 7:26  But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his rulership, to cut off and to destroy until the end.

Dan 7:27  And the kingdom and rulership, and the greatness of the kingdom under all the heavens, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. And all kingdoms shall serve and obey Him.

Dan 7:28  Here is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my thoughts troubled me much, and my face changed on me. But I kept the matter in my heart.

The four horsemen of Revelation 6 are White, Red, Black, and Green, These are the very same colour of the PLO flag and almost every single Muslim country around the world.

Rev 6:1  And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures like a sound of thunder, saying, Come and see.

Rev 6:2  And I saw. And behold a white horse! And he sitting on it had a bow. And a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer.

Rev 6:3  And when He had opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, Come and see.

Rev 6:4  And another, a red horse, went out. And power was given to him sitting on it, to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another. And there was given to him a great sword.

Rev 6:5  And when He had opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, Come and see. And I looked, and lo, a black horse. And he sitting on it had a balance in his hand.

Rev 6:6  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures say, A choenix of wheat for a denarius, and three choenixes of barley for a denarius. And do not hurt the oil and the wine.

Rev 6:7  And when He had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, Come and see.

Rev 6:8  And I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him sitting on it was Death, and Hell followed with him. And authority was given to them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with the sword and with hunger and with death and by the beasts of the earth.

March Continues 10 Months of Record-Breaking Temperatures

March Continues 10 Months of Record-Breaking Temperatures

Since I began to do this work in 2005, I have been nonstop warning you about the curses of Lev 26 for not keeping the Sabbatical Years. The second curse is:

Lev 26:18  And if you will not yet listen to Me for all this, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

Lev 26:19  And I will break the pride of your power, and I will make your heaven like iron and your earth like bronze.

Lev 26:20  And your strength shall be spent in vain. For your land shall not yield its increase, neither shall the trees of the field yield their fruits.

19 years after I began to explain these things, we can now clearly see how the temperatures are going through the roof. Notice when the records began to be set in 2023 and how they have not stopped up until MArch 2024.

Here are the charts showing how temperatures around the world continue to set new all-time records. If world temperatures are rising, do you think this might also cause the Barley and Wheat to come earlier each year? You are to follow Yehovah’s lead and not a calculated calendar with all its takanot and Maisim built into it.

https://climate.copernicus.eu/copernicus-march-2024-tenth-month-row-be-hottest-record

Copernicus: March 2024 is the tenth month in a row to be the hottest on record.

If you can understand the first four seals are wrapped around the White, Red, Black and Green Flags of the world, and if you understand how many are under altar of the 5th seal due to those flags with more to come, the the 6th seal is what we expect to come from Iran. This then leads us to the 7th seal which begins the 1st Trumpet plagues. We are expecting 1/3 of the trees around the world to be burned up this year, the first year of the 10 Days of Awe, the 10 Years of Judgment on this earth.

Rev 8:6  And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

Rev 8:7  The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mixed with blood, and they were cast on the earth. And the third part of trees was burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

1st, 2nd & 3rd Abomination Count Update

1st, 2nd & 3rd Abomination Count Update

After COVID-19 in 2021, we realized the abomination count was from the time the daily was taken away in Israel by Netanyahu on March 25, 2020. We originally thought it was from the time WHO declared a pandemic on March 11, 2020, the same day we kept Passover that year. We were off by two weeks. We adjusted once we understood what happened on October 6 and 7, 2023.

After this, we learned Netanyahu shut down Israel four times in total. March 25, September 18 and 25, and then again on December 27, all in an effort to stop the spread of COVID, which was out of control in Israel at that time. Because Daniel 12:11 says abominations as in plural, we began to look at these other dates, wondering what would happen in them. I even wrote the Prime Minister before September 22 and again before March 31 warning him of something big coming. We did not know about the surprise Hamas attack in Sept when we were watching. We did not know about the attack that is now coming from Iran. But we did warn the Prime Minister’s office of a potential major attack on Sept 10, 2023, and in March 2024.

The 1290-day count from September 18, 2020, arrived on March 31, 2024. We did not know what to expect, but we were watching. Then, on Monday, April 1, 2024, Israel struck the building next to the Iranian embassy in Damascus, killing 7 top leaders of the Iranian guard. Iran claims that the building was part of the Embassy and, as such, was an attack on sovereign territory.

Israel is now preparing for a retaliatory strike from Iran. We were expecting it at the end of Friday prayers, April 7, or it could come at the end of Eid. Ramadan ended on April 9, with the following day being the first day of Eid Al-Fitr. However, like the start of Ramadan, the end of the month is also contingent on the sighting of the moon, and the moon was sighted on Tuesday evening, making Wednesday the first day of the month.

Lets review everything once again.

March 11, 2020 WHO Declared a pandemic. We kept Passover on this date. 1290 Days later is Sept 22, 2023. We expected the abomination to be set up at this time. We discovered a brand new shrine to the Virgin Mary built in the very place we were looking for an abomination. But no statue was set up.

Dan 12:11  And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the desolating abomination set up, a thousand two hundred and ninety days shall occur.

Dan 12:12  Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

We then discovered Prime Minister Netanyahu had declared four lockdowns in Israel in 2020.

The first one was on March 25, 2020. This was the start of the new year and 15 days before Passover that year. Counting 1290 days later brings you to October 6, 2023. This is when the abomination of Buddha was set up at the Rave in Re’im. Hamas attacked the next day Oct 7, 2020. Israel invaded Gaza on October 27, 2020.

Looking at the 1335-day part about those who are blessed who wait until the 1335 days brings us to November 20, 2023. Israel and Hamas reached an agreement on November 21, 2023 with the cease-fire commencing on Friday, November 24, with the first of the hostages freed on Friday November 24. More would be freed in the following days.

These two historic events seem to match the prophecy of Daniel 12. But there are 3 other lockdown dates to consider.

Netanyahu declared the second lockdown on September 18, 2020, the day before Rosh Hashanah. Counting 1290 days from September 18, 2020, brings us to March 31, 2024. The next day on April 1, 2024, Israel attacked and killed two Iranian generals and five other leading officers in a building next to the Iranian embassy.

A third date that seems to match.

On September 25, 2020, Netanyahu again declared another lockdown in the fight against COVID-19. This was two days before Atonement on September 27 and 28, Sukkot on October 2, and Shemini Atzeret on October 9, 2020. Counting 1290 days from each of these Holy Day dates of this lockdown (when the daily was taken away) brings us to the following events in 2024:

(September 25, 2020, +1290 =) April 8, 2024, the date of the Solar Eclipse over North America. The end of Eid.

(September 27, 2020, + 1290 =) April 10, 2024: Eid celebrations end on Friday, April 12, 2024

(October 2, 2020, + 1290 =) April 15, 2024

(October 9, 2020, + 1290 =) April 22, 2024, is Passover in Israel this year.

We are not trying to predict as much as we are watching the patterns revealed through the Jubilee Cycles. It was the understanding of Daniel’s 70 weeks being 70 Jubilee Cycles that led us to understand the middle of the 70th Jubilee was 2020. 2020 was the beginning of all these end time prophecies. While we are close on many things, we continue to watch and adjust our understanding, sharing what we know as we learn. We will continue to adjust and refine our message going forward as world events show us more prophetic understandings.

You can read about how we arrived at these understandings in our books The 2300 Days of Hell and The Abomination that Makes Desolate Epilogue.

Although we have the 1290-day count accurate for Oct 7, 2023, as well as November 20, 2023 for the 1335 count, and it seems to be correct for the April 1, 2024 count, as I write this on April 10, with a constant watch on my rocket warning app on my watch, I am seeing no attacks. In fact, Hezbollah and Hamas seem to have backed right off. But I remain vigilant and continue to watch. But the whole world knows it is coming. We just don’t know when Iran is going to attack.

Israel keeps Passover on April 22, 2024. And we still have the Red Heifers that are ready to be sacrificed this year. When will this happen is the question.

We continue to watch and study the scriptures.

Rev 6:12 And when He had opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake. And the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.

Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs when she is shaken by a mighty wind.

Rev 6:14 And the heaven departed like a scroll when it is rolled together. And every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every freeman, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains.

Rev 6:16 And they said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;

Rev 6:17 for the great day of His wrath has come, and who will be able to stand?

The Seventh Seal and the Golden Censer

Rev 8:1 And when He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour.

Rev 8:2 And I saw the seven angels who stood before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

Rev 8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer. And many incenses were given to him, so that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints on the golden altar before the throne.

Rev 8:4 And the smoke of the incense which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God from the angel’s hand.

Rev 8:5 And the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it into the earth. And voices and thunderings and lightnings and an earthquake occurred.

The Seven Trumpets

Rev 8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

Rev 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mixed with blood, and they were cast on the earth. And the third part of trees was burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

We also just received this update from Hananya Naftali saying much of the same things we have been speaking about.

Connecting The 8th Day

Connecting The 8th Day

A Pastor of the United Church Of God International, Mr. Mark Mickelson, gave a sermon at the Feast of Tabernacles in Kelowna, BC, in 2003, on the “Eighth Day of the Feast.” It was very profound to me. It opened my understanding to something I had not considered: the return of Yehovah. I will explain using the notes I took from this sermon.

We read in Roman 1:18 – For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man–and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

Isaiah 55:8 – For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Every action Yehovah takes is according to his plan. What is that plan? How can we know what it is?

One way Yahweh shows us his plan is by keeping His Holy Days at their appointed times. They are found in Lev 23 and we are reminded of that plan each year as we celebrate those Holy Days. Just so you can read it for yourself let me quote the chapter in full.

Lev 23: 1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘The feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts. 3 ‘Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings. 4 ‘These are the feasts of the Lord, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at their appointed times. 5 On the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight is the Lord’s Passover. 6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; seven days you must eat unleavened bread7 On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it. 8 But you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord for seven days. The seventh day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it.’ ” 9 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 He shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted on your behalf; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12 And you shall offer on that day, when you wave the sheaf, a male lamb of the first year, without blemish, as a burnt offering to the Lord. 13 Its grain offering shall be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to the Lord, for a sweet aroma; and its drink offering shall be of wine, one-fourth of a hin. 14 You shall eat neither bread nor parched grain nor fresh grain until the same day that you have brought an offering to your God; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. 15 ‘And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. 16 Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the Lord. 17 You shall bring from your dwellings two wave loaves of two-tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven. They are the firstfruits to the Lord. 18 And you shall offer with the bread seven lambs of the first year, without blemish, one young bull, and two rams. They shall be as a burnt offering to the Lord, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma to the Lord. 19 Then you shall sacrifice one kid of the goats as a sin offering, and two male lambs of the first year as a sacrifice of a peace offering. 20 The priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits as a wave offering before the Lord, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to the Lord for the priest. 21 And you shall proclaim on the same day that it is a holy convocation to you. You shall do no customary work on it. It shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations. 22 ‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field when you reap, nor shall you gather any gleaning from your harvest. You shall leave them for the poor and for the stranger: I am the Lord your God.’ ” 23 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 24 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a Sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. 25 You shall do no customary work on it; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord.’ ” 26 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 27 “Also the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the Day of Atonement. It shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. 28 And you shall do no work on that same day, for it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God. 29 For any person who is not afflicted in soul on that same day shall be cut off from his people. 30 And any person who does any work on that same day, that person I will destroy from among his people. 31 You shall do no manner of work; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. 32 It shall be to you a Sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict your souls; on the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall celebrate your Sabbath.” 33 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 34 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to the Lord. 35 On the first day there shall be a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it. 36 For seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. It is a sacred assembly, and you shall do no customary work on it. 37 These are the feasts of the Lord which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering and a grain offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings, everything on its day– 38 besides the Sabbaths of the Lord, besides your gifts, besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings which you give to the Lord. 39 ‘Also on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep the feast of the Lord for seven days; on the first day there shall be a Sabbath-rest, and on the eighth day a Sabbath-rest. 40 And you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palm trees, the boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days. 41 You shall keep it as a feast to the Lord for seven days in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations. You shall celebrate it in the seventh month. 42 You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All who are native Israelites shall dwell in booths, 43 that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.’ ” 44 So Moses declared to the children of Israel the feasts of the Lord.

We read in Exodus 20: 8 – “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

Here, we have read from the New King James Version that the Sabbath is not only the seventh day of the week but also includes seven annual Holy Days spread throughout the year. These Holy Days are there to show us something each year as we keep them. As it says in

Colossians 2: 16 – So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or Sabbaths, 17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. 18 Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels,

Again in

Hebrew 10:1 -” For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come,” shows us that these Holy Days represent something in the future. Certain events will take place at these appointed Holy Days.

How do we know this? Passover is an excellent example. The killing of the lamb at Passover represents Yehshua (Jesus), who was killed while nailed to a tree. To learn more, read the paper titled Pentecost’s Hidden Meaning.

All of these Holy Days are to show us something in the future that will happen on each of these specific days. But how do we determine when these days are to occur? Again, I refer you to another paper titled The Glory of Yahweh and The Glory of Kings. In this paper, it can be demonstrated exactly how each of us can accurately determine the beginning of the calendar according to the Bible.

Yes there are many so called “good people” who, as I quoted from scripture at the opening of this paper, would suppress the truth and keep to the traditions taught to them by men rather than change, and learn the truth from scripture and Obey Yehovah.

Matthew 15: 7 Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: 8 ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 9 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ” Read also Isaiah 29:13 In Jeremiah 9: 13 – And the Lord said, “Because they have forsaken My law which I set before them, and have not obeyed My voice, nor walked according to it, 14 but they have walked according to the dictates of their own hearts and after the Baals, which their fathers taught them,”

Rather than obey our Creator, men have held to their own traditions and would rather do those things which cannot be found in the Bible. Such traditions include Christmas and Easter, as taught to us by our ancestors. Men have chosen to keep these traditions of our ancestors instead of keeping the Holy Days, which are found in scripture.

This paper focuses on one of these Holy Days: the eighth day. It is immediately after the Feast of Tabernacles, which is on the 23rd day of the seventh month of the year. The Feast of Tabernacles begins on the 15th day and runs for seven days, so the 23rd day would be the eighth day.

Many who keep the Holy Days miss the significance of this day. Its importance is often overlooked as people prepare to leave the Feast of Tabernacles, thinking about the drive home rather than how great this day really is. Today, the Eighth Day is a shadow picture of a future event, and this event is what I wish to show you.

What is the importance of the Eighth day?

Paul writes, in

Philippians 3: 4 though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so: 5 circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee;

For Paul, being circumcised on the Eighth day was a point of merit.

Genesis 17:10 This is My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: Every male child among you shall be circumcised; 11 and you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between Me and you. 12 He who is eight days old among you shall be circumcised, every male child in your generations, he who is born in your house or bought with money from any foreigner who is not your descendant. 13 He who is born in your house and he who is bought with your money must be circumcised, and My covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. 14 And the uncircumcised male child, who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that person shall be cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant.”

Circumcision on the eighth day was important. Vitamin K causes the blood to coagulate. On the eighth day, the amount of vitamin K is above 100%, and this is the only time that it is. It is symbolic. Circumcision portrays a complete and total submission to Yahweh. Spiritually focused on Yahweh, totally.

Lest you think I am trying to enforce circumcision, read

Roman 2:23. You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law? 24 For “the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,” as it is written. 25 For circumcision is indeed profitable if you keep the law; but if you are a breaker of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcised. 26 Therefore, if an uncircumcised man keeps the righteous requirements of the law, will not his uncircumcision be counted as circumcision? 27 And will not the physically uncircumcised, if he fulfills the law, judge you who, even with your written code and circumcision, are a transgressor of the law? 28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; 29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

I merely wish to bring to your attention the importance of the eighth day. In so doing I would also like to point out in

2 Peter 2:4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly;

Noah was righteous and was allowed to take his family with him on the Ark.

Genesis 7:1 Then the Lord said to Noah, “Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation.

The other seven were saved, but Noah was Righteous. He was also numbered amongst the eight. Noah is a type of what we must do to be saved.

We read in

Ezekiel 14:12 The word of the Lord came again to me, saying: 13 “Son of man, when a land sins against Me by persistent unfaithfulness, I will stretch out My hand against it; I will cut off its supply of bread, send famine on it, and cut off man and beast from it. 14 Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness,” says the Lord God. 15 “If I cause wild beasts to pass through the land, and they empty it, and make it so desolate that no man may pass through because of the beasts, 16 even though these three men were in it, as I live,” says the Lord God, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters; only they would be delivered, and the land would be desolate. 17 “Or if I bring a sword on that land, and say, ‘Sword, go through the land,’ and I cut off man and beast from it, 18 even though these three men were in it, as I live,” says the Lord God, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, but only they themselves would be delivered. 19 “Or if I send a pestilence into that land and pour out My fury on it in blood, and cut off from it man and beast, 20 even though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live,” says the Lord God, “they would deliver neither son nor daughter; they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness.”

So, here we read that only those who are righteous in the last days will be saved, unlike in the days of Noah. This is very sobering to know.
Getting back to the number eight, we read in

Exodus 22:29 “You shall not delay to offer the first of your ripe produce and your juices. The firstborn of your sons you shall give to Me. 30 Likewise you shall do with your oxen and your sheep. It shall be with its mother seven days; on the eighth day you shall give it to Me.

Again in

Leviticus 22:26 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 27 “When a bull or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall be seven days with its mother; and from the eighth day and thereafter it shall be accepted as an offering made by fire to the Lord. 28 Whether it is a cow or ewe, do not kill both her and her young on the same day. 29 And when you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord, offer it of your own free will. 30 On the same day it shall be eaten; you shall leave none of it until morning: I am the Lord. 31 “Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord. 32 You shall not profane My holy name, but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel. I am the Lord who sanctifies you, 33 who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord.”

Seven days are for preparation, seven days are for cleansing. Seven days are needed to prepare and cleanse the offering for Yehovah which He only accepts on the eighth day when you can give it to Him.
To sanctify the altar we read in

Ezekiel 43:1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, the gate that faces toward the east. 2 And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with His glory. 3 It was like the appearance of the vision which I saw–like the vision which I saw when I came to destroy the city. The visions were like the vision which I saw by the River Chebar; and I fell on my face. 4 And the glory of the Lord came into the temple by way of the gate which faces toward the east. 5 The Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the temple. 6 Then I heard Him speaking to me from the temple, while a man stood beside me. 7 And He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever. No more shall the house of Israel defile My holy name, they nor their kings, by their harlotry or with the carcasses of their kings on their high places. 8 When they set their threshold by My threshold, and their door post by My door post, with a wall between them and Me, they defiled My holy name by the abominations which they committed; therefore I have consumed them in My anger. 9 Now let them put their harlotry and the carcasses of their kings far away from Me, and I will dwell in their midst forever. 10 “Son of man, describe the temple to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern. 11 And if they are ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the design of the temple and its arrangement, its exits and its entrances, its entire design and all its ordinances, all its forms and all its laws. Write it down in their sight, so that they may keep its whole design and all its ordinances, and perform them. 12 This is the law of the temple: The whole area surrounding the mountaintop is most holy. Behold, this is the law of the temple. 13 “These are the measurements of the altar in cubits (the cubit is one cubit and a handbreadth): the base one cubit high and one cubit wide, with a rim all around its edge of one span. This is the height of the altar: 14 from the base on the ground to the lower ledge, two cubits; the width of the ledge, one cubit; from the smaller ledge to the larger ledge, four cubits; and the width of the ledge, one cubit. 15 The altar hearth is four cubits high, with four horns extending upward from the hearth. 16 The altar hearth is twelve cubits long, twelve wide, square at its four corners; 17 the ledge, fourteen cubits long and fourteen wide on its four sides, with a rim of half a cubit around it; its base, one cubit all around; and its steps face toward the east.” 18 And He said to me, “Son of man, thus says the Lord God: ‘These are the ordinances for the altar on the day when it is made, for sacrificing burnt offerings on it, and for sprinkling blood on it. 19 You shall give a young bull for a sin offering to the priests, the Levites, who are of the seed of Zadok, who approach Me to minister to Me,’ says the Lord God. 20 You shall take some of its blood and put it on the four horns of the altar, on the four corners of the ledge, and on the rim around it; thus you shall cleanse it and make atonement for it. 21 Then you shall also take the bull of the sin offering, and burn it in the appointed place of the temple, outside the sanctuary. 22 On the second day you shall offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bull. 23 When you have finished cleansing it, you shall offer a young bull without blemish, and a ram from the flock without blemish. 24 When you offer them before the Lord, the priests shall throw salt on them, and they will offer them up as a burnt offering to the Lord. 25 Every day for seven days you shall prepare a goat for a sin offering; they shall also prepare a young bull and a ram from the flock, both without blemish. 26 Seven days they shall make atonement for the altar and purify it, and so consecrate it. 27 When these days are over it shall be, on the eighth day and thereafter, that the priests shall offer your burnt offerings and your peace offerings on the altar; and I will accept you,’ says the Lord God.”

This is what it takes to purify the altar. Seven days of preparation and atonement so that on the eighth day, Yehovah will accept them. After preparing for seven days, and only then does He accept them on the eighth day. Even then, the priest has very specific instructions

In Preparing the Priesthood we read in

Leviticus 8:1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 2 “Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, the anointing oil, a bull as the sin offering, two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread; 3 and gather all the congregation together at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.” 4 So Moses did as the Lord commanded him. And the congregation was gathered together at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 5 And Moses said to the congregation, “This is what the Lord commanded to be done.” 6 Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons and washed them with water. 7 And he put the tunic on him, girded him with the sash, clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod on him; and he girded him with the intricately woven band of the ephod, and with it tied the ephod on him. 8 Then he put the breastplate on him, and he put the Urim and the Thummim in the breastplate. 9 And he put the turban on his head. Also on the turban, on its front, he put the golden plate, the holy crown, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 10 Also Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and consecrated them. 11 He sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times, anointed the altar and all its utensils, and the laver and its base, to consecrate them. 12 And he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him, to consecrate him. 13 Then Moses brought Aaron’s sons and put tunics on them, girded them with sashes, and put hats on them, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

14 And he brought the bull for the sin offering. Then Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull for the sin offering, 15 and Moses killed it. Then he took the blood, and put some on the horns of the altar all around with his finger, and purified the altar. And he poured the blood at the base of the altar, and consecrated it, to make atonement for it. 16 Then he took all the fat that was on the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat, and Moses burned them on the altar. 17 But the bull, its hide, its flesh, and its offal, he burned with fire outside the camp, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 18 Then he brought the ram as the burnt offering. And Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram, 19 and Moses killed it. Then he sprinkled the blood all around on the altar. 20 And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burned the head, the pieces, and the fat. 21 Then he washed the entrails and the legs in water. And Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 22 And he brought the second ram, the ram of consecration. Then Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram, 23 and Moses killed it. Also he took some of its blood and put it on the tip of Aaron’s right ear, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot. 24 Then he brought Aaron’s sons. And Moses put some of the blood on the tips of their right ears, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. And Moses sprinkled the blood all around on the altar. 25 Then he took the fat and the fat tail, all the fat that was on the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, the two kidneys and their fat, and the right thigh; 26 and from the basket of unleavened bread that was before the Lord he took one unleavened cake, a cake of bread anointed with oil, and one wafer, and put them on the fat and on the right thigh; 27 and he put all these in Aaron’s hands and in his sons’ hands, and waved them as a wave offering before the Lord. 28 Then Moses took them from their hands and burned them on the altar, on the burnt offering. They were consecration offerings for a sweet aroma. That was an offering made by fire to the Lord. 29 And Moses took the breast and waved it as a wave offering before the Lord. It was Moses’ part of the ram of consecration, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 30 Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, on his garments, on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him; and he consecrated Aaron, his garments, his sons, and the garments of his sons with him. 31 And Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and eat it there with the bread that is in the basket of consecration offerings, as I commanded, saying, ‘Aaron and his sons shall eat it.’ 32 What remains of the flesh and of the bread you shall burn with fire. 33 And you shall not go outside the door of the tabernacle of meeting for seven days, until the days of your consecration are ended. For seven days he shall consecrate you. 34 As he has done this day, so the Lord has commanded to do, to make atonement for you. 35 Therefore you shall stay at the door of the tabernacle of meeting day and night for seven days, and keep the charge of the Lord, so that you may not die; for so I have been commanded.” 36 So Aaron and his sons did all the things that the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.

They had to wait seven days. They could not leave the Tabernacle area for consecrating themselves and atoning themselves, until the eighth day.

On the 8th day they were ready as we read in

Leviticus 9:1 It came to pass on the eighth day that Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel. 2 And he said to Aaron, “Take for yourself a young bull as a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the Lord. 3 And to the children of Israel you shall speak, saying, ‘Take a kid of the goats as a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, as a burnt offering, 4 also a bull and a ram as peace offerings, to sacrifice before the Lord, and a grain offering mixed with oil; for today the Lord will appear to you.‘ ” 5 So they brought what Moses commanded before the tabernacle of meeting. And all the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord. 6 Then Moses said, “This is the thing which the Lord commanded you to do, and the glory of the Lord will appear to you.” 7 And Moses said to Aaron, “Go to the altar, offer your sin offering and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself and for the people. Offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as the Lord commanded.” 8 Aaron therefore went to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself. 9 Then the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him. And he dipped his finger in the blood, put it on the horns of the altar, and poured the blood at the base of the altar. 10 But the fat, the kidneys, and the fatty lobe from the liver of the sin offering he burned on the altar, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 11 The flesh and the hide he burned with fire outside the camp. 12 And he killed the burnt offering; and Aaron’s sons presented to him the blood, which he sprinkled all around on the altar. 13 Then they presented the burnt offering to him, with its pieces and head, and he burned them on the altar. 14 And he washed the entrails and the legs, and burned them with the burnt offering on the altar. 15 Then he brought the people’s offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and killed it and offered it for sin, like the first one. 16 And he brought the burnt offering and offered it according to the prescribed manner. 17 Then he brought the grain offering, took a handful of it, and burned it on the altar, besides the burnt sacrifice of the morning. 18 He also killed the bull and the ram as sacrifices of peace offerings, which were for the people. And Aaron’s sons presented to him the blood, which he sprinkled all around on the altar, 19 and the fat from the bull and the ram–the fatty tail, what covers the entrails and the kidneys, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver; 20 and they put the fat on the breasts. Then he burned the fat on the altar; 21 but the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved as a wave offering before the Lord, as Moses had commanded. 22 Then Aaron lifted his hand toward the people, blessed them, and came down from offering the sin offering, the burnt offering, and peace offerings. 23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of meeting, and came out and blessed the people. Then the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people, 24 and fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.

It was only after the seven days of atoning and cleansing that the Tabernacle area was purified along with Aaron and the Priesthood. Then on the eighth day Yehovah Himself devoured the offering by fire and His Glory appeared to all the people. On the Eighth Day!

Again concerning atonement for sin we read in

Numbers 6:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When either a man or woman consecrates an offering to take the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself to the Lord, 3 he shall separate himself from wine and similar drink; he shall drink neither vinegar made from wine nor vinegar made from similar drink; neither shall he drink any grape juice, nor eat fresh grapes or raisins. 4 All the days of his separation he shall eat nothing that is produced by the grapevine, from seed to skin. 5 All the days of the vow of his separation no razor shall come upon his head; until the days are fulfilled for which he separated himself to the Lord, he shall be holy. Then he shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow. 6 All the days that he separates himself to the Lord he shall not go near a dead body. 7 He shall not make himself unclean even for his father or his mother, for his brother or his sister, when they die, because his separation to God is on his head. 8 All the days of his separation he shall be holy to the Lord. 9 ‘And if anyone dies very suddenly beside him, and he defiles his consecrated head, then he shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he shall shave it. 10 Then on the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting; 11 and the priest shall offer one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, and make atonement for him, because he sinned in regard to the corpse; and he shall sanctify his head that same day. 12 He shall consecrate to the Lord the days of his separation, and bring a male lamb in its first year as a trespass offering; but the former days shall be lost, because his separation was defiled.

Concerning other atonement’s we read in

Leviticus 14:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest: 3 And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper; 4 Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop: 5 And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water: 6 As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water: 7 And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field. 8 And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days. 9 But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.
10 And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil. 11 And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: 12 And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD: 13 And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy: 14 And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot: 15 And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand: 16 And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD: 17 And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering: 18 And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD. 19 And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering: 20 And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

Leviticus 15: 1 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When any man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean. 3 And this shall be his uncleanness in regard to his discharge–whether his body runs with his discharge, or his body is stopped up by his discharge, it is his uncleanness. 4 Every bed is unclean on which he who has the discharge lies, and everything on which he sits shall be unclean. 5 And whoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 6 He who sits on anything on which he who has the discharge sat shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 7 And he who touches the body of him who has the discharge shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 8 If he who has the discharge spits on him who is clean, then he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 9 Any saddle on which he who has the discharge rides shall be unclean. 10 Whoever touches anything that was under him shall be unclean until evening. He who carries any of those things shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 11 And whomever the one who has the discharge touches, and has not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 12 The vessel of earth that he who has the discharge touches shall be broken, and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water. 13 ‘And when he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count for himself seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes, and bathe his body in running water; then he shall be clean. 14 On the eighth day he shall take for himself two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and come before the Lord, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and give them to the priest. 15 Then the priest shall offer them, the one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. So the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord because of his discharge. 16 ‘If any man has an emission of semen, then he shall wash all his body in water, and be unclean until evening. 17 And any garment and any leather on which there is semen, it shall be washed with water, and be unclean until evening. 18 Also, when a woman lies with a man, and there is an emission of semen, they shall bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 19 ‘If a woman has a discharge, and the discharge from her body is blood, she shall be set apart seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening. 20 Everything that she lies on during her impurity shall be unclean; also everything that she sits on shall be unclean. 21 Whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 22 And whoever touches anything that she sat on shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 23 If anything is on her bed or on anything on which she sits, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until evening. 24 And if any man lies with her at all, so that her impurity is on him, he shall be unclean seven days; and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean. 25 ‘If a woman has a discharge of blood for many days, other than at the time of her customary impurity, or if it runs beyond her usual time of impurity, all the days of her unclean discharge shall be as the days of her customary impurity. She shall be unclean. 26 Every bed on which she lies all the days of her discharge shall be to her as the bed of her impurity; and whatever she sits on shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her impurity. 27 Whoever touches those things shall be unclean; he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 28 ‘But if she is cleansed of her discharge, then she shall count for herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean29 And on the eighth dayshe shall take for herself two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and bring them to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 30 Then the priest shall offer the one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, and the priest shall make atonement for her before the Lord for the discharge of her uncleanness. 31 ‘Thus you shall separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness, lest they die in their uncleanness when they defile My tabernacle that is among them. 32 This is the law for one who has a discharge, and for him who emits semen and is unclean thereby, 33 and for her who is indisposed because of her customary impurity, and for one who has a discharge, either man or woman, and for him who lies with her who is unclean.’ “

There are many things done in groups of seven as a preparation for atonement to make it complete. Seven days of cleansing, seven days of preparations and then on the eighth day, the sanctification is complete.

Seven days are for cleansing and sanctification then on the eighth day atonement! We tend to look forward to the 7th day when Yehshua (Jesus) will return and the troubles of this life are over. The plan of Yehovah doesn’t focus on the return of Yehshua. His return is incredibly important, but Yehovah our Father, is putting his throne here on earth. This is of supreme importance. The whole process will then be complete. Seven days to cleanse and prepare the Earth, but the eighth day is the completion, and of extreme significance to Yehovah’s plan. Satan, however, has counterfeited this plan. He has mixed the truth with falsehood and he offers himself as a counterfeit to Yehovah and His plan.

We read about this in

1 King 12:25 Then Jeroboam built Shechem in the mountains of Ephraim, and dwelt there. Also he went out from there and built Penuel. 26 And Jeroboam said in his heart, “Now the kingdom may return to the house of David: 27 If these people go up to offer sacrifices in the house of the Lord at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people will turn back to their lord, Rehoboam king of Judah, and they will kill me and go back to Rehoboam king of Judah.” 28 Therefore the king asked advice, made two calves of gold, and said to the people, “It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem. Here are your gods, O Israel, which brought you up from the land of Egypt!” 29 And he set up one in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan. 30 Now this thing became a sin, for the people went to worship before the one as far as Dan. 31 He made shrines on the high places, and made priests from every class of people, who were not of the sons of Levi. 32 Jeroboam ordained a feast on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, like the feast that was in Judah, and offered sacrifices on the altar. So he did at Bethel, sacrificing to the calves that he had made. And at Bethel he installed the priests of the high places which he had made. 33 So he made offerings on the altar which he had made at Bethel on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, in the month which he had devised in his own heart. And he ordained a feast for the children of Israel, and offered sacrifices on the altar and burned incense.

Jeroboam makes a counterfeit religion. It is the 15th day of the 8th month and not the 15th of the 7th month. Why is this so bad? Read on to find out.

Revelation 17:10 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. 11 And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.

Satan is trying to impersonate Yehovah and Yehshua – the 7th and the 8th. Satan is coming as the beast in Rev 17, pretending to come as the eighth resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire. Eighth being reckoned as Righteousness (Yehovah). Satan is not just competing against Messiah, but is trying to replace Yehovah as well.
Satan has sought to replace Yehovah since the beginning, as we read in

Isaiah 14: 12 – “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! 13 For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’

” I will be like the Most High”

Simon Magus, the sorcerer, a high priest of Babylon, established a following for himself. A counterfeit to Christianity. He honoured the number 8. In the Epistle of Barnabas, it was argued for the eighth day to be honoured as the Sabbath and not the seventh day. His purpose was to counterfeit the scriptural Sabbath. A counterfeit messiah and counterfeit brethren and counterfeit churches all put in place by Satan. Not to the honour of Yehovah but to the honour of Satan.

In Daniel 7:25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time and times and half a time.

Times and law are both tied up in the fourth commandment. Keep Holy my Sabbath. This is the law. When man attempts to change the time of the Sabbath from what Yehovah has established as the Sabbath, then man is changing the time.

How is he doing this? He has changed the seventh-day Sabbath into the eighth day, has he not? Where in all the Bible is the scripture that says we should worship on the eighth day of the week, which is also the first day of the week? You cannot find such a verse because it is not there. So why do so many “Christians” worship on the first day of the week? This is the counterfeit worship spoken of in Daniel, as you just read.

Now, getting back to the Eighth Day of the Feast of Tabernacles, we celebrate the seven days of the Feast prior to this day as a celebration of the Millennial Rule, when Yehshua will rule the Earth for 1000 years and Satan is bound up for that time. We get this from 2 Peter 3: 8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

When we apply this to the weekly Sabbath Rest we get six days of work or six thousand years of work and then the Sabbath year of Rest or the one thousand years when Yehshua is ruling over the Earth.

This is all wrapped up in the Feast of Tabernacles. The seven days of the Feast and the seven thousand years of Yehovah’s plan. But then comes the Eighth Day. How does this fit into Yehovah’s plan?

In Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

The seven thousand years end but the rule of his government will have no end. We all think in terms of when Yehshua will return – the seventh day, but the bible points to the eighth day when Yehovah returns and of that day there is no end.

Revelation 21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” 6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” 9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. 12 Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. 14 Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. 16 The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal. 17 Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel. 18 The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. 19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. 22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 24 And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. 25 Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). 26 And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. 27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Yehovah Himself will dwell with man. King David rules all during the millennium. Then Yehovah Himself comes. King David rules then Yehovah returns for the eighth day, the eighth millennium and forever.

Revelation 22:1 And he showed me a pure* river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. 4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. 5 There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

The eighth day of Yehovah does not end like it does at the Feast. Many cry as they say good-bye every year. We can’t stay here forever now, but we can on the eighth day, which, when fulfilled, will never end.

When we grasp this truth then we are forced to reconsider all the other Holy Days. All the Holy Days are for us to get ready and to cleanse ourselves and prepare ourselves so that at the end of the seven thousand years, we will be atoned for and be able to meet Yehovah.

When we count Pentecost, one to seven, seven times. And when you count seven Sabbaths you have to end up on Sunday. 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, then the 50th day signifies what? It signifies redemption, the Jubilee, and the restoration of all things. The Jubilee is the eighth Sabbath. It is the same as the Eighth day of the Feast. It is the clue to unraveling the timing of the plan of Yehovah.

The whole plan of Yehovah points to the Eighth Day when He will dwell with man on Earth.

On the Eighth day of Shavuot, Yehovah gave you the Commandments. This is the basic building block to His Kingdom and to understand who He is. The Torah is Yehovah.

Jhn 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

In the beginning was the Torah and the Torah was with Yehovah and the Torah was Yehovah. How can people want to do away with the law and say they love God. He is the Torah. The Torah became flesh and dwelt amongst us and we killed Him.

Jhn 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and of truth.

Then in Acts again on the 8th Day or Shavuot the Apostles were given the Holy Spirit as flames of fire.

Act 2:1 And in the fulfilling of the day of Pentecost, they were all with one accord in one place.

Act 2:2 And suddenly a sound came out of the heaven as borne along by the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Act 2:3 And tongues as of fire appeared to them, being distributed; and it sat upon each of them.

Act 2:4 And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Just as the word, the Torah, the commandments is Yehovah, so is this fire that rested upon the Apostles, also Yehovah.

Heb 12:29  for also, “Our God is a consuming fire.”

Exodus 24:17  And the sight of the glory of Jehovah was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the sons of Israel.

Numbers 11:1  And the people were evil, as those complaining in the ears of Jehovah. And Jehovah heard, and His anger was kindled. And the fire of Jehovah burned among them and devoured in the outermost parts of the camp.

Numbers 16:35  And there came out a fire from Jehovah and burned up the two hundred and fifty men who offered incense.

Deuteronomy 4:24  For Jehovah your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Notice in Deuteronomy that this consuming fire is also a Jealous God. If you go after other false gods it will make Him jealous. Peter tells us He is coming as an all consuming fire. This is the Jealous El that we are waiting for.

2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up.

2Pe 3:11 Then, all these things being about to bedissolved, what sort ought you to be in holy behavior and godliness,

2Pe 3:12 looking for and rushing the coming of the Day of God, on account of which the heavens, being on fire, will melt away, and the elements will melt, burning with heat?

Just as we prepare for seven days at Sukkot for the wedding feast and then the consumption of the wedding will be on the 8th day, so we have now kept seven Weeks or 49 days or seven Sabbath, to be consummated on the 8th day of Shavuot. How so?

Consider the Jubilee year. What happens in the Jubilee Year? A period of 7 Shmita cycles followed by the 8th Sabbatical Year.

Lev 25:8 And you shall number seven sabbaths of years to you, seven times seven years. And the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be forty-nine years to you.

Lev 25:9 Then you shall cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth of the seventh month; in the day of atonement, the trumpet shall sound throughout all your land.

Lev 25:10 And you shall make the fiftieth year holy, oneyear, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee to you, and you shall return each man to his possession, and you shall return each man to his family.

Lev 25:11 That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee to you. You shall not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself in it, nor gather in it of your undressed vine.

Here is the key verse.

Lev 25:13 In the year of this jubilee you shall return each man to his possession.

The same as the 8th Day Feast, Shemini Atzeret. You are returned to your possession, Yehovah. The consummation is when you are returned unto Yehovah. Yehovah who gave you the Ten Commandments so you can learn about Him on the 8th Day of Shavuot. Yehovah who want to dwell here on earth with mankind.

All of these cleansing ceremonies of 7 days and then on the 8th day, Circumcision, the HolY Days, and the Eighth Day itself all point to the day Yehovah is going to dwell with mankind here on earth. Each of them and all of them cumulatively explain this miracle. This was in fact the very thing King Solomon learned when he dedicated the Temple. This is the Feast of Dedication because it took place on the 8th day of the Feast, Shemini Atzeret and yehovah came and dwelt with man on that day.

1Ki 8:1 And Solomon gathered the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the sons of Israel, to King Solomon in Jerusalem, so that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah out of the city of David, which is Zion.

1Ki 8:2 And all the men of Israel were gathered to King Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which isthe seventh month.

1Ki 8:3 And all the elders of Israel came in, and the priests took up the ark.

1Ki 8:4 And they brought up the ark of Jehovah, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels which were in the tabernacle; even those the priests and the Levites brought up.

1Ki 8:5 And King Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel who had assembled to him, were with him before the ark sacrificing sheep and oxen which could not be counted nor numbered for multitude.

1Ki 8:6 And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of Jehovah into its place, into the holy place of the house, into the Holy of Holies, under the wings of the cherubs.

1Ki 8:7 For the cherubs spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark. And the cherubs covered the ark and the staves of it above.

1Ki 8:8 And they drew out the staves, so that the ends of the staves were seen out in the holy place, in front of the Holy of Holies. And they were not seen outside. And there they are until today.

1Ki 8:9 There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses put there at Horeb, when Jehovah made a covenant with the sons of Israel when they came out of the land of Egypt.

1Ki 8:10 And it happened when the priests had come out of the Holy of Holies, the cloud filled the house of Jehovah.

1Ki 8:11 And the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of Jehovah had filled the house of Jehovah.

2Ch 5:2 And Solomon gathered the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the sons of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah out of the city of David, which isZion.

2Ch 5:3 And all the men of Israel gathered themselves to the king in the feast in the seventh month.

2Ch 5:4 And all the elders of Israel came. And the Levites took up the ark.

2Ch 5:5 And they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that werein the tabernacle. The priests and the Levites brought these up.

2Ch 5:6 And King Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were gathered to him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen which could not be counted nor numbered for multitude.

2Ch 5:7 And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of Jehovah to its place, to the Holy of Holies in the house, into the most holy place, under the wings of the cherubs.

2Ch 5:8 For the cherubs spread out their wings over the ark, and the cherubs covered the ark and its staves above.

2Ch 5:9 And they drew out the staves so that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle. But they were not seen outside. And there it is until this day.

2Ch 5:10 Nothing was in the ark except the two tables which Moses put in it at Horeb, when Jehovah made a covenant with the sons of Israel when they came out of Egypt.

2Ch 5:11 And it happened as the priests came out of the holy place, for all the priests present were sanctified, and did not wait by division.

2Ch 5:12 And the Levitical singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brothers, being clothed in white linen, having cymbals and with harps and lyres, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them a hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets,

2Ch 5:13 and they were as one to the trumpeters and to the singers, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking Jehovah; and as they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised Jehovah, saying, For He is good, for His mercy endures forever, the house was filled with a cloud, the house of Jehovah,

2Ch 5:14 so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of Jehovah had filled the house of God!

Notice that when Solomon made the dedication prayer then the consuming fire, Yehovah, the Jealous God came down from heaven as fire and consumed the offerings and filled the Temple with His presence.

2Ch 7:1 And when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from Heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices. And the glory of Jehovah filled the house.

2Ch 7:2 And the priests could not enter into the house of Jehovah because the glory of Jehovah had filled Jehovah’s house.

2Ch 7:3 And when all the sons of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of Jehovah on the house, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised Jehovah, saying, For He isgood, for His mercy endures forever.

The Dedication of the Temple

2Ch 7:4 And the king and all the people offered sacrifices before Jehovah.

2Ch 7:5 And King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. And the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.

There is more to understanding Shavuot but I will leave this until next week. This is why it is important to show up at the proper time and to keep the Holy Days as we are told in Lev 23. Shavuot has a rich understanding that is represented behind it all.
