When Was Yehshua Examined to Be Our Passover Lamb?

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,

Last week we had some sort of glitch on our end that prevented the Newsletter from being seen by some of you. We are trying to make it easier to read. By putting the Newsletter in tabs, you can read the sections you want and skip over the ones you have read before.

But the tabs failed us on some devices. So I have included those articles from last week for those who were not able to see them.

So some of last week’s articles are now available. We believe the tabs are now fixed. So the two articles I want you to study. I mean I want you to actually sit down and study them are:

Ben Ha Arbayim or Between the Evenings-When is it?

and

The Pidyon Ha’bon

You should be able to find them at this link from last Sabbath. It is important that you understand Yehshua did not change the Passover dates. He did not celebrate the Passover meal with His Apostles at the start of the 14th day. The Passover meal is eaten with Unleavened Bread after the lambs are killed at 3 PM on the 14th Day. Unleavened Bread is only eaten for 7 Days from the 15th to the 21st day.

This is very important to understand. I will keep this weeks teaching short so you have ample time to go back and study these two subjects.

But even this weeks teaching helps to prove these things I am sharing true. When was the Passover Lamb chosen? On the 10th day of the Nisan. There are groups out there who will confuse you into believing that Yehshua was chosen on Palm Sunday and this then makes the 14th Thursday. It is time to put on your chronological hats once again and PROOF ALL THINGS!

You may also be getting more emails from me than normal. We have automated our emails so that when new people begin to join our Newsletter they will automatically be sent an email encouraging them to get one of our books to help them understand certain aspects of what we are teaching here. There will be about 10 in total, maybe more that will be sent out every so many days apart. Some 2 days some 5 days.

We have the same system set up for some of the other books. So they know what to get next and to encourage them to learn these things as quickly as possible.

If your brother or sister has their names added to the list then they would get each of these emails. https://sightedmoon.org/newsletter-signup55469575 So please do encourage as many as you can find to sign up on this list so they can then begin to learn those truths we are sharing here. They can unsubscribe anytime.

We also gave you a heads up that Passover might be next month. That was based on a picture I was shown. It turns out that picture may not have been 100% kosher. So as of right now we do not know if we have Passover next month or an Adar Bet to be added. Our dates are currently set for Passover next month.

This could all change if the barley is not ready. We will wait and see. Prepare for Passover next month. And also prepare for it to be the following month.

We are once again proving the saying that Yehshua said. No Man can know the day or the hour. We just do not know. But we continue to watch.

Doomsday clock moves to 90 seconds to midnight – the closest in history

Scientists cited the ‘unprecedented danger’ posed by the Russia-Ukraine war in their decision.

The Doomsday Clock has moved closer to midnight than it has ever been, and is now just 90 seconds away from striking 12, scientists have said.

The clock, a symbolic timepiece showing how close the world is to ending, has been moved forward by 10 seconds by its keepers.

The announcement means the perceived threat is now more severe than it was last year, with the scientists citing “unprecedented danger” posed by the Russia-Ukraine war.

Rachel Bronson, chief executive of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, said: “As UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres warned this past August, the world has entered a time of nuclear danger not seen since the height of the Cold War.”

Speaking about the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, she said: “There is no clear pathway for forging a just peace that discourages future aggression under the shadow of nuclear threat.

“The US government, its Nato allies and Ukraine have a multitude of channels for dialogue. We urge leaders to explore all of them to their fullest ability.”

Ms Bronson added: “We move the clock forward, the closest it has ever been to midnight. It is now, 90 seconds to midnight.”

In a statement, the scientists said Russia’s invasion of Ukraine “has raised profound questions about how states interact, eroding norms of international conduct that underpin successful responses to a variety of global risks”.

The statement added: “Russia’s thinly veiled threats to use nuclear weapons remind the world that escalation of the conflict – by accident, intention, or miscalculation — is a terrible risk.

“The possibility that the conflict could spin out of anyone’s control remains high.”

The scientists said they were also concerned about China’s expansion of its nuclear capabilities as well as North Korea stepping up its intermediate and longer-range missile testing.

They also warned that the US, Russia, and China are “pursuing full-fledged nuclear weapons modernisation programs, setting the table for a dangerous new ‘third nuclear age’ of competition”.

The countdown was established in 1947 by experts from The Bulletin Of The Atomic Scientists who were working on the Manhattan Project to design and build the first atomic bomb.

The concerned US scientists set up the Doomsday Clock to provide a simple way of demonstrating the danger to the Earth and humanity posed by nuclear war.

The Bulletin is an independent non-profit organisation run by some of the world’s most eminent scientists.

The clock first started ticking at seven minutes to midnight – and has moved forwards and backwards over the years as the threats to the world changed.

In 2020, the clock was set at 100 minutes to midnight, and remained unchanged for the next three years.

Although originally intended to warn of the threat of nuclear Armageddon, the Doomsday Clock also takes into account the likelihood of other emerging threats such as climate change and advances in biotechnology and artificial intelligence.

Mary Robinson, former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, said: “We are on the brink of a precipice.

“But our leaders are not acting at sufficient speed or scale to secure a peaceful and liveable planet.

“From cutting carbon emissions to strengthening arms control treaties and investing in pandemic preparedness, we know what needs to be done.

“The science is clear, but the political will is lacking.

“This must change in 2023 if we are to avert catastrophe.”

Hebrew Calendar Out by 18 Days

The Hebrew Calendar is Out by 18 Days RIght Now

And it is going to get worse! How could God Do That?

The Calendar debate is about to get into full swing once again this year. Have you proven beyond all doubt which one you should be using?

The following article is from the Jerusalem Post in 2007. With some edits.

THE JEWISH calendar has been a lunar one, confirmed by the sighting of the new moon and the use of the first fruits of Barley to begin the year. In matters of time, the month is a natural phenomenon, as are the day and the solar year, although the three are difficult to correlate. The month is actually 29.530588 days long and the solar year 365.2422 days, which makes calculation difficult. In the early Roman Empire the year was still counted as a lunar one and correlation with the seasons was chaotic and unwieldy. It was so until the time of the Emperor Julius Caesar, who was advised by astronomers to scrap the lunar count and fix a solar year of 365 and 1/4 days. That fraction of a day was not practical so it was decreed to have three years of 365 days, and one of 366 days every four years. Known as the Julian Calendar, it had the desired effect of regulating the days and months with the seasons. The new reckoning was introduced in 45 BCE and was expected to be correct for time everlasting.

But it was not to be.

THE CALENDAR year was more than 11 minutes too long, which meant an increase of one day in about 130 years. Thus by medieval times, after a period of say, 1,000 years, the calendar year was already seven days in advance of the sun. By the time reform came, under Pope Gregory XIII, the calendar was 10 days ahead of the solar system, and consequently in March 1582, the new Gregorian Calendar took 10 days out of the month of October of that year. It was not an easy reform to swallow, and Great Britain was the last major country to adopt it, not doing so until nearly 200 years later in 1752. It was then that popular riots called for “the return of our 11 days,” that led to the Treasury being forced to move the tax year 11 days forward from the quarter-day of March 25 to April 5.

As the Julian year had been too long by about three days in 400 years, the Gregorian Calendar solved the problem by declaring that the leap day should be ignored at every century year and only used in those centuries divisible by 400, as is still the practice today.

SO FAR, so good, but how does that impact on the Hebrew calendar?

The Hebrew calendar also known as the Hillel Calendar was created in 358 C.E and is used by all Jews and most messianic groups. When confirming the calendar by sighting of the moon became impractical, tradition has it that a fixed calendar was set down by the Patriarch Hillel II in 358.

In other words, the Jewish calendar was 18 days out of sync with the heavenly facts. How did this happen? Quite simply because the original calculations, whether by Hillel II or others, were based on the Julian Calendar of their time and, as we have seen, the Julian Calendar would now also be about 15 days out of line with the sun. Does this really matter? As the equinox or tekufa of Spring, continues to progress ahead of the sun, by more than 11 hours a year, we shall find that in time it will approach nearer and nearer to the astronomical summer, and the festival of Pessah will no longer fall in our tekufa of Nissan. It can be calculated that this will occur in about 640 years, and then we will be in breach of the Torah law. The festival may still be in the spring, but the tekufa of Spring will be in the summer. SO GREAT BRITAIN was not the last country to adopt the Gregorian correction of the Julian calculations. The Hebrew calendar has not yet recognized the discrepancy

The Hillel Calendar was created in 358 C.E. The Postponement rules tell you that it was created so the moon would not be seen in anther part of the world before it was seen in Jerusalem. Yes before the crescent moon could be seen in Jerusalem. The Hillel calendar was created due to the persecution and murder of the witnesses and the Jews in diaspora. But the Hillel calendar had a built in flaw because it was built upon the Julian calendar which had to be fixed by Pope Gregory in 1558. But because it is based on the Julian calendar, it is flawed.

Imagine Yehovah creating a flawed calendar. Unthinkable.

Here at sightedmoon.com we go by;

the Sabbath from Sunset Friday to Sunset Saturday as the Holy Days.

the Holy Days of Leviticus 23 with no others being added to it.

the Barley being Aviv in time to be waved on Wave Sheaf day which is the Sunday during the days of Unleavened Bread. This alone is how we determine the start of the year.

The sighting of the moon each month to begin the month, so that we can count to those Holy Days in the 1st and 7th month.

Abib FAQ:
Vernal Equinox and Tekufah

Q: Is the equinox (Tekufah) mentioned in the Tanach (Hebrew Bible)?

The claim has been made by proponents of the equinox calendar theory that the word equinox actually appears in the Tanach. They are referring to the word Tekufah or Tequfah which appears in the Hebrew Bible four times. Tekufah is in fact the post-Biblical word for “equinox”, however, it never has the meaning of “equinox” in the Tanach. In Biblical Hebrew, Tekufah retains its literal meaning of “circuit”, that is something which returns to the same point in time or space [from the root Nun.Quf.Pe. meaning “to go around”]. To claim that Tekufah means equinox in the Tanach, just because it had this meaning in later Hebrew, is an anchronism. This would be like saying that there were handguns in ancient Israel because the word EKDACH, the post-Biblical Hebrew word for handgun, appears in Isaiah 54:12. Let us consider another example of this anachronistic use of language: Before the invention of the electronic computer during World War II, the word “computer” referred to a man who sat at a desk calculating (computing) mathematical equations. Imagine if we found an 18th century document mentioning “computers” and proclaimed to the world that there were really electronic computers in the 18th century. This is exactly what the equinox-followers are doing with the word Tekufah. To better understand this, let us consider the four appearances of Tekufah in the Tanach.

Tekufah in Exodus 34:22

The first appearance of Tekufah is in the list of Pilgrimage-Feasts (Hagim) in Ex 34:22 which refers to the agricultural character of the Feast of Booths (Sukkot):

“And the Feast of Ingathering at the circuit of the year (Tekufat HaShannah).”

Being mislead by the Post-Biblical Hebrew meaning of Tekufah, some have interpreted “circuit of the year” anachronistically to refer to the Autumnal Equinox (it is doubtful whether the ancient Israelites even knew of the equinox and they certainly had no way of calculating when it would be). This anachronistic reading leads to the suggestion of fixing the beginning of the year so that Sukkot (The Feast of Ingathering) falls out at the time of the Autumnal Equinox. However, a closer investigation shows that “circuit of the year” has nothing to do with the equinox. The list of Pilgrimage-Feasts also appears in a parallel passage in Ex 23:16 which describes Sukkot as follows:

“And the Feast of Ingathering at the going out of the year (Tzet HaShannah), when you have gathered in your work from the field.”

Exodus 34 is actually an almost verbatim paraphrase of Exodus 23 and it is important to compare and contrast these two passages; the differences are often very enlightening. Comparing Ex 34:22 and Ex 23:16 it is clear that the “going out of the year” and the “circuit of the year” refer to the same time. The “going out/ circuit” of the year is described in Ex 23:16 as “when you have gathered in your work from the field”. This agricultural ingathering is also described in Dt 16:13:

“You shall keep the Feast of Booths for seven days, when you have gathered in from your threshing floors and from your wine presses.”

The Feast of Booths/ Ingathering is described as the “going out of the year” because it takes place at the end of the yearly agricultural cycle of planting, harvest, threshing, and ingathering. At the same time, Sukkot is described as taking place at the “circuit of the year” because once the agricultural cycle ends it then immediately recommences (making a circuit, returning to the same point in time) with the planting of the fields after the first rains (sometimes during or shortly after Sukkot itself).

Tekufah in Psalms 19:7

The term Tekufah (circuit) appears in Psalm 19 in reference to the sun, but here too it has nothing to do with the equinox. Psalm 19 describes the heavens and sun, which from their unique vantage point are witness to all things in creation, and thus (metaphorically) testify to the incomparable glory of God. Verses 5-7 describes the sun:

“(5)… He [YHWH] placed a tent among them [the heavens] for the sun. (6) Which is as a bridegroom going out of his chamber, and which rejoices as a strong man running a race. (7) From the end of the heavens is its [the sun’s] going out and its circuit (Tekufato) is to their [the heavens] ends, and none is hidden from its heat”

Verse 6 describes the sun as a bridegroom that bursts forth out of his chamber and as a hero that runs along a path. Verse 7 then describes the “going out” of the sun at one end of the heavens and the “circuit” (Tekufato) of the sun at the other end. Clearly what is being described is the daily path of the sun which rises at one end of the heaven (its going out) and sets at the other end (its return), “and none is hidden from its heat” during the course of the day. What has confused some readers is that the going out or exiting of the sun refers to sunrise, but this unusual terminology is used throughout the Tanach. For example, we read in Judges 5:31:

“Thus shall all the enemies of YHWH be destroyed; and all those whom he loves shall be as the going out of the sun (KeTzet HaShemesh) in its might”. (Jud 5,31)

Those loyal to YHWH shall shine forth with glory as the “going out of the sun”, that is sunrise. It may seem strange that sunrise is referred to as the “going out” of the sun. After all, in Exodus we saw that the going out of the year was the end of the year, whereas the going out of the sun is the beginning of the day. However, this is consistent with Biblical usage and in fact the common Biblical way of saying sunset is the coming in or entering of the sun. This is related to the ancient Israelite conception of the sun which at night was thought of as metaphorically dwelling in a celestial chamber (Ps 19:5). At dawn the sun goes out of this metaphorical chamber and the earth is lit while at night the sun comes into the metaphorical chamber and it is dark. This is also the thought behind the comparison of sunrise to a bridegroom coming forth from his chamber. Ps 19:7 refers to the going out of the sun (sunrise) at one end of heaven and its circuit (return to the same place, to its nightly chamber) at the other end, that is sunset (for a similar thought see Ecc 1:5). We see that here too Tekufah (circuit) has nothing to do with the equinox.

Tekufah in 2Chronicles 24:23

As seen above the “Tekufah (circuit) of the year” in Exodus referred to events in the autumn (the time of the ingathering). The same expression (circuit of the year) is also used to refer to events which take place in late spring as we see in 2Chr 24:23:

“And it was at the circuit (Tekufah) of the year that the army of Aram went up and they came to Judah and Jerusalem…”

In this instance the “Circuit (Tekufah) of the year” comes in place of the common expression “Return (Teshuvah) of the year” which appears several times in the Tanach as “the time when kings go out [to war]” as in:

“And it was at the return (Teshuvah) of the year, and Ben-Haddad counted Aram and went up to Afek to war with Israel.” (1Ki 20:26).

“And it was at the return (Teshuvah) of the year, at the time the kings go out [to war] and David sent Yoav… and they smote the Amonites and besieged Rabbah…” (2Sam 11:1)

The time that the kings went out to war was the late spring before the oppresive heat of summer and after the winter rains which made the mud roads in the Land of Israel impassable. We see here that Tekufah (circuit) of the year is used interchangeably with the more common Teshuvah (return) of the year. Whenever this annual set time for kings to go out to war comes around it is a “circuit of the year”, returning to the same point in time as last year.

Tekufah in 1Samuel 1:20

The term Tekufah (circuit) also appears in 1Sam 1:20 which says:

“And it was at the circuits (Tekufot) of the days, and Hannah conceived and bore a son…”

Here the “circuits” of the days refers to “the same time the following year” [or possibly to the completion of the term of pregnancy?]. It is worth noting that Tekufah is plural in 1Sam 1:20 as tekufot “circuitS”. If we apply the anachronistic meaning of Tekufah as equinox then we get the absurd translation: “And it was at the equinoxes of the days, and Hanah concieved and bore a son…” This emphasizes how important it is to understand Scripture in its historical and linguistic context.

None of the four appearances of Tekufah in the Hebrew Scripture have anything to do with the equinox. Instead, this term is used in Biblical Hebrew in its primary sense of a “circuit”, that is a return to the same point in space or time. Only in Post-Biblical Hebrew did Tekufah come to mean “equinox” and to read this meaning into the Tanach creates an anachronism.

It Was A Riddle Not A Command is a great book that I wrote in 2019, to answer the question people were asking, that “No Man Can Know the Day or The Hour,” therefore how could I know these dates that I was sharing back then and still am. Once you understand this simple Hebrew idiom then the calendar issues go away. You will know and then you will understand why the Hillel Calendar will not be used.

When you order It Was A Riddle Not A Command, you will be asked it would also like The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033. It is only by understanding the Holy Days of Leviticus 23, that you can know when the Resurrection of the Saints will take place. The Holy Days tell you the very day your loved ones, who followed Yehovah, will be raised. The Jubilee Cycles tell you the very year. This should be common knowledge. The fact I have to write it in a book is telling you it is not. So get both books and the audio today and begin to understand two great truths right away. With the audio you can listen to it being read to you while you drive, walk or exercise.

THIRD YEAR TITHE

Third Year Tithe

Thank you to each and everyone who has supported the Widows this 6th year of the Sabbatical Cycle. Whether you did it through Sightedmoon or on your own, thank you. You have just one month left to complete the commandment. Yes it is a commandment. If you want the blessings then you must obey.

Receiving the widow’s tithe has been absolutely life changing for me!

I want to give a huge, HUGE bouquet to each and every one of you who has contributed, but also not to forget those who wanted to contribute but were unable.  I’ve also been in that position of wanting to contribute towards something but was unable to do it.

So I feel that those people shouldn’t be forgotten!

We are all the same in the Kingdom of Yehovah and HE knows our hearts! We pray for them as well, that they will be in a better financial position to be able to contribute.

Also, a big thank you to Joseph for being a reluctantly but willing conduit for blessing the widows and orphans.

May Yehovah bless you with love, joy and shalom.

M

Let me share with you what one widow recently wrote to me about the recent flooding in Kentucky. Notice how your generosity towards this Widow was used to help those in that flood.

Thank you Bro Joe for all your efforts to be a blessing which I for one truly appreciate. And pray Father will bless you 1000fold in return. The devastation an hour from me is so hard to fathom. I found out today that a couple of sisters I had gone to church with and had moved back home to Hazard lost everything but what one could put in 2 Walmart bags. I wanted to help in some way but did not know what I could do until I saw their post, So was able to give them 100$. The sister I gave it too had come back to London to stay with a friend and replied you don’t have this to give – but I told her, Yes, I do. I have been blessed and I will bless you. An answer to prayer for me as I wanted to help somehow. My son just came and told me that he had heard that there have been some suicides by those who have lost everything. So sad for everyone, especially to the family who had 4 children torn away from them. As bad as this is, I know worse is coming.

Brethren I do want to encourage you not to let up in your support. We all want to receive the blessings, which only come when you comply with the law. This 6th year is the prelude to the 7th year of rest. The Sabbatical year also has things that you are to do to be in compliance with the Kingdom laws. 2024 is the start of the 10 Days of Awe and you do not want to be found out of His Grace at that time.

2022 is the 6th year of the 4th Sabbatical cycle. And anyone who has been reading our website for any length of time will know how to prove beyond all doubt when the Sabbatical and Jubilee years are. Once you have done that, then you will know when the 3rd and the 6th year of the Sabbatical Cycles are. We are told to raise a tithe every third year for the widow, the orphan and the Levite in your gates.

Here is a very severe warning from Yehovah to each of us.

Exo 22:21  You shall neither vex a stranger nor oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child. If you afflict them in any way, and they cry at all to Me, I will surely hear their cry. And My wrath shall become hot, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall be widows, and your sons fatherless.

We have now sent out  (as of December 15, 2022)  our 8th round of gift offerings that you have sent in for the widows and orphans. We have also supported a couple of other ministries that aid us in doing this work. This will fulfill the Levite part of the commandment. It was our desire to get the funds to them as we are told to do in Deuteronomy.

Deu 14:28  At the end of three years you shall bring forth all the tithe of your increase the same year, and shall lay it up inside your gates.

Deu 14:29  And the Levite, because he has no part nor inheritance with you, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are inside your gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied, so that Jehovah your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

We will soon be making another gift to them. If you do not know of anyone in the faith who is a widow or orphan then you can send it to us. Make sure you write me to let me know that those funds are for the widows and I will see to it they get it. But if you do not write me then I will not know where to apply your donation.

May each one of you who has given to this cause, be blessed as Boaz was blessed by Yehovah for his generosity. May each one of you be known for your support of the laws that will make the Kingdom of Yehovah strong and righteous. And may Yehovah bless you so that what you give is never missed and you never lack for your generosity towards Yehovah’s heart.

THE SABBATH 101

The Sabbath 101

I have been asked a number of times for the basics of keeping Torah. I have told those asking where to look but still more come and they are overwhelmed by the amount of articles, videos and books to go through. I never set out for it to be like that. But we have been posting a weekly newsletter since 2005. That is about 938 newsletters which have been viewed 9,701,688 times. We have written 8 books selling 5,439 copies as of this week. We have created about 552 videos, which have had 2,778,234 views as of today.

Just looking at these numbers tells me we are doing something right. And at the same time we continue to dive deeper into the things we are teaching. But for the new person it can be over whelming.

I had the great opportunity to visit Batman, Bat-woman and Alfred, and I even stayed in the Bat-cave. Batman has compiled a number of teachings that are geared for the new person and those just starting out in this walk. He also put together three of the books we now offer at Sightedmoon. I want to make all of these available for you to take advantage of, but you can’t tell Batman.

Here is the video section.

You can order one of two books. Scripture Lessons for the Kingdom & More Scripture Lessons for the Kingdom

Scripture Lessons for the Kingdom is exactly that, short lessons for those new to Torah. We have taken many of the lessons from the website and condensed them down into one to two-page lessons. While these do not cover everything, they will cover the basics and give you a good starting place for your journey into the Word of YHVH. We hope you enjoy this book and look forward to hearing back from you and your stories about this journey.

AND

We also have a third book about the covenant titled I Do. It is an e-book only format.

The servants of the groom are announcing the wedding, but will the bride prepare herself properly to say “I do”?  I do is a short book that both teaches and challenges one who has accepted the betrothal to the Lamb to do that which will prepare them for that great day when the groom arrives.

PROMOTIONS

Promotions

We will be promoting ads, books, and upcoming meetings in this section. I hope you will check it each week, copy and paste it to your social media pages, and help us share this message. We need each of you to help here as much as possible. Make sure you copy the blurb for each ad when you do. Thank you in advance.

You can take each promotion and share it with your loved ones. They might start to watch. You can enter their names and they would have to confirm that they’re interested. But you can plant the seeds by putting these promotions on your social media page and sharing them with the ones you care about.

We are working on more promotions for the Ten Tribes of Israel, Heaven, Hell and It Was A Riddle Not A Command.

They all take a lot of work and James and I are going as fast as we can with them. When you do see a mistake, let us know so we can try to fix it.

The Elijah Trilogy

The Abomination that Makes Desolate must surely qualify as one of the most misinterpreted subjects in the entire Bible. In truth, it is a mystery, as evidenced by the fact that even the prophet Daniel himself did not fully comprehend its meaning. (Daniel 12:8-9)

Here is the link you can post on your page and help us to begin to promote this book everywhere we can. It is now published and available!!!!

Abomination That Makes Desolate-The Countdown Has Begun

The 10 Days of Awe, was written in draft. It needs to be organized and the writing finalized. Once this is done then it will need to be edited. I see this coming out in 2023. Do keep us in your prayers. I have a lot on my plate and I do need to get this out ASAP. 2023 and 2024 are right in front of us and this book deals with those things that come at that time.

The Restoration of All Things

The Restoration of All Things. Here is the link you can post on your page and help us to begin to promote this book everywhere we can.

Before Messiah Yehshua can come, Elijah must restore all things. What are those things that need to be restored? Have they happened yet? What was lost and when? When was it restored and by whom? Are you watching the right things in your walk?

The Key To End-Time Prophecy is the Jubilee Cycles

The Key To All End-Time Prophecy is the Jubilee Cycles. With the understanding of when every Sabbatical and Jubilee year was throughout history, you can then begin to see patterns develop of when Yehovah brought about major historical events. When you know when the Flood took place in that Jubilee Cycle, you can compare it to our current 120th Jubilee Cycle. Then when you do the same for the time of Lot, and read the scripture in Luke, you can get an idea of when the Kingdom of Yehovah will be set up.

The Coming of the Kingdom

Luk 17:20 And being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation. 21 Nor shall they say, Lo here! or, behold, there! For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst. 22 And He said to the disciples, The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you shall not see it. 23 And they shall say to you, Lo, here! or, behold, there! Do not go away, nor follow. 24 For as the lightning which lights up, flashing from the one part under heaven, and shines to the other part under heaven, so also shall the Son of Man be in His day. 25 But first He must suffer many things and be rejected of this generation. 26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it also shall be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 So also as it was in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but the day Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from the heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so it shall be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. 31 In that day he who shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise, he who is in the field, let him not return to the things behind. 32 Remember Lot’s wife. 33 Whoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it, and whoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two in one bed, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35 Two shall be grinding together, one will be taken, and the other left. 36 Two shall be in the field, one will be taken, and the other left. 37 And they answered and said to Him, Where, Lord? And He said to them, Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033

There are many people who kept Pentecost Sunday last weekend, June 5th. Some are doing so this weekend, June 12. Are you aware of the deep meaning of this day? If you did you would not be wondering when the Rapture would be. You would know for sure.
Come let us show you the deep meaning behind this Holy Day and how the understanding of it is revealing so many other truths. Order the book today and begin to learn these things right away.

The Riddle Rapture Book Offer

Once you understand the Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles then you will begin to understand prophecy unlike you have ever understood before. When is the Messiah coming? When is the Rapture?

Jesus spoke in parables so that those who would not obey would not understand. If you do not know when the time of HIs coming is, and when the Saints will be raised or changed in a twinkling of an eye, then maybe, just maybe you are one of those who will not obey.
Those who do obey know. Order both books today and begin to understand unlike you have ever dreamed of before. Order them both now.
Here is what one person wrote who read the book.

I love the enormous amount of Scripture the author uses in teaching and making a point. Taking a single verse out of context can totally skew the understanding (case in point, Psalm 10:4 and 14:1 both say that there is no God). Instead of leading his readers to his belief system, Mr Dumond lets the Bible lead the way! He just connects the dots.

There were so many Bible verses I never understood, despite many years of Sunday School and Bible studies. Many actually seemed to contradict each other. Once I learned that the Bible uses idioms it made such a difference in my understanding. In English we say things like “killing time” or “kicking the bucket” and recognize that they express something other then the sum of the individual words. Turns out that Hebrew (the language the Creator chose to record His words) uses many idioms also. Recognizing what they mean opened up my understanding!
I’m about to go thru this book a 2nd time as there is SO much I didn’t get it all the first time!
Order your copy today. Start to read it right now.

THE MARK OF THE BEAST – FREE

Like many of you, I have read so many different ideas as to what the “Mark of the Beast” is. This “Mark” has been said to be the social security cards, or credit cards, then it was thought to be the barcode system, which is largely how we all shop today, but this ISN’T even on our hands or foreheads as the scriptures state! Then it was the RFID chip planted in our hands that caused an uproar.
Our Bibles explain this if we would just read it. Let me explain this to you. This is FREE.

Once you have read the Mark of the Beast then you will be sent an email to read The Bismallah 666. So you must sign up for one to get the other.

The Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles reveal End-Time Prophecy

By understanding the Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles, you can know when the 7th Millennium will begin. You can also know when the Rapture will be. When the Messiah is going to come.

It is the only way you can understand the Daniel 9 prophecy. Because of this, we were the only Ministry warning you about 2020. We have been shouting out that WAR would start, famines would start, and Plagues would start in 2020 and in this 4th Sabbatical Cycle. We have entered the start of WW III; famines are on the Nightly News, and COVID has rocked the world.

I am still shouting this warning, but the next curse is too unbearable to say.  What is coming is so horrible that you do not want to know it. But it is coming none the less. Worldwide Drought, Worldwide Famine, and Genocide on an unimaginable scale.

SABBATH MEETINGS

Sabbath Meetings

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers songs and teaching from this hour.

Shabbat Services will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

TORAH PORTIONS

Torah Portions

We read through the entire Torah along with the Prophets and the New Testament, once over the course of 3 1/2 years. Or according to the Sabbatical Cycle which means we read it all twice over a 7 year period. This allows us to cover more in-depth rather than being rushed to cover as much as is covered on an annual basis. We allow all to comment and take part in the discussions.

Septennial Torah Portion

If you go to Torah Portion at our archived section, you can then go to the 6th year which is the 6th year of the Sabbatical Cycle, the one we are in now, as we state at the top of every News Letter. There you can scroll down to the proper date, and see that this Shabbat we could very well be midrashing about:

Numbers 11

Job 30-32

Hebrew 12-13

If you missed last week’s exciting discoveries as we studied that section you can go and watch past Shabbats on our media section.

THE HOLY DAYS 2023

There may in fact be an Adar Bet this year. So all my Holy Day Dates may have to change by one month.

The Holy Days 2023

I have been told a number of times over the past few months that Passover could be early. I was very sure we would need an Adar Bet this year but I kept watching for more reports.

This week I was talking to Becca about another subject and she told me she had just seen some fields that caused her to take a double take. Then she sent me pictures yesterday and I could not believe what I was seeing. As I zoomed in there was barley in the head. Barley in the head already, already.

So we have updated all our festival dates on Home page.

Palm Sunday and 6 Days Before Passover

Palm Sunday and 6 Days Before Passover

We have been going over the 3 days and 3 nights. We also went over the expression “And this is the 3rd Day” in our article on The road to Emmaus, noting that the word today is not in the origin text.

There is yet one other section of scriptures that people will toss out at you in order to tell you that the the crucifixion was not on Wednesday, but rather was on the Thursday.

We already have abundance of scriptural support for the Wednesday Crucifixion, but let us examine the scriptures that some are putting out and see if they have any merit or not.

“They say” that Yehshua road into Jerusalem on a colt on Palm Sunday. This is the tenth of Nisan. So Monday is then the 11th and Tuesday is then the 12th and Wednesday is then the 13th. Not the 14th as I am claiming. In order for Sunday to be the 14th they say, this then means that Yehshua would ride into Jerusalem on the colt on Sabbath and thereby be breaking the Sabbath. So it is impossible for Wednesday to be the 14th. It has to be the Thursday and I am wrong in my assertions.

Many times those with such errant claims get traction when you leave out other scriptures. Never forget Satan knows the scriptures quite well. He even used them when he tempted Yehshua. But Yehshua did not argue with him nor debate him, Yehshua just quoted scriptures back to him.

Let us do the same.

The Jewish Passover beginning on Nisan 14 and the seven-day Feast of Unleavened Bread which follows are filled with meaning for Christians and Messianic Jews.  The preparations for this Feast of the LORD actually begin several days before.   In ancient times and in Yeshua’s day, when the Temple stood, the lambs chosen for sacrifice had to be inspected for four days.  This began on Nisan 10.  The lambs were brought into Jewish homes and were carefully watched to be certain there were no blemishes or illness, which would disqualify them for the Passover sacrifice.  Just as the lambs were inspected, so was Yeshua, who is our Passover and the Lamb of God.

We read in Exodus 12 the start of the Passover event. What we are going to focus on in this study is when that lamb was taken and then killed. Many are muddying the waters on this, and this is why we are looking at it.

Exodus 12:1 Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you. Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: “On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household. And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the persons; according to each man’s need you shall make your count for the lamb. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats. Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight. And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. Then they shall eat the flesh on that night; roasted in fire, with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

Yehshua is known to be the Lamb of God.

John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

John 1:36 Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples. And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, “Behold the Lamb of God!”

Rev 5:4 So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.

Every detail of the Passover Exodus event is replayed now in the Crucifixion of Yehshua.

He was the Lamb of Yehovah and He was the lamb that had to be examined and then killed.

And just as that lamb was taken into the houses of those who were about to kill it, so Yehshua was taken to the Temple and examined for those days leading up to His death and he was found not guilty.

Mark 12:13 Then they sent to Him some of the Pharisees and the Herodians, to catch Him in His words.

Mathew 26:59-60 Now the chief priests, the elders, and all the council sought false testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, but found none. Even though many false witnesses came forward, they found none.

Luke 23:1 Then the whole multitude of them arose and led Him to Pilate. And they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.” Then Pilate asked Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered him and said, “It is as you say.” So Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, “I find no fault in this Man.”

Luke 23:13 Then Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests, the rulers, and the people, said to them, “You have brought this Man to me, as one who misleads the people. And indeed, having examined Him in your presence, I have found no fault in this Man concerning those things of which you accuse Him; no, neither did Herod, for I sent you back to him; and indeed nothing deserving of death has been done by Him. I will therefore chastise Him and release Him” (for it was necessary for him to release one to them at the feast).

Luke 23:22 Then he said to them the third time, “Why, what evil has He done? I have found no reason for death in Him. I will therefore chastise Him and let Him go.”

These are the events that show us the examination and then slaughter of Yehshua. He was and is that Lamb of Yehovah.

Now let us look at the chronology of these events which again will prove that He was killed on the Wednesday and rose again three days alter at the end of the Sabbath.

John 11:55 And the Passover of the Jews was near, and many went from the country up to Jerusalem before the Passover, to purify themselves. Then they sought Jesus, and spoke among themselves as they stood in the temple, “What do you think—that He will not come to the feast?” Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a command, that if anyone knew where He was, he should report it, that they might seize Him.

It is close to Passover and then we read in

John 12:1 Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been dead, whom He had raised from the dead. There they made Him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with Him.

Passover was on the Thursday. It was the High day John mentions. Passover is eaten after the sunset at the end of the 14th day when the lambs are killed. Yehshua was killed and was our Passover lamb killed at 3 PM on Wednesday afternoon, the 14th of Nisan.

The Passover meal would then be eaten that night. Again see our article 3 Days and 3 Nights.

Now let us count back 6 days.

Wednesday is one

Tuesday is two

Monday is three

Sunday is four

Saturday is five

Friday is the sixth day and the day Yehshua arrived at the house of Lazarus and Mary and Martha.
Notice that Mary made Him supper. So now the 6th day is past and Sunset has occurred and they are now into the Sabbath Friday evening. They are having a Sabbath meal.

Then in verse 3 we read about the oil being poured on the Feet of Yehshua by Mary and then how Judas rebuked her and then was himself rebuked.

John 12:3 Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil. But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said, “Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?” This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it. But Jesus said, “Let her alone; she has kept this for the day of My burial. For the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always.”

John then goes on to tell us of the crowd that came to see both Yehshua and Lazarus. This was not at supper time but had to have been on the Sabbath the next day.

John 12:9 Now a great many of the Jews knew that He was there; and they came, not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead. But the chief priests plotted to put Lazarus to death also, because on account of him many of the Jews went away and believed in Jesus.

We must point out something here that almost everyone misses. This Sabbath day when Yehshua was brought into the home of Lazarus and all these people came on the Sabbath to see both Him and Lazarus was in fact the 10th day of the month when you are to select the lamb and bring it into your home. This is what Mary and Martha and Lazarus did. And so did the crowd that came the next day. They all selected Yehshua.

Mathew, Mark and Luke have nothing about this meeting taking place at the home of Lazarus.

All three of them then begin with Yehshua coming from Bethpage to the Mount of Olives just before Jerusalem.

This is now Sunday. It is what has been called Palm Sunday.

Continuing in John from where we just left off he says the next day after these men came to see them at Lazarus’s house.

John 12:12 The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out:

“Hosanna!

‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’

The King of Israel!”

Then Jesus, when He had found a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written:

“Fear not, daughter of Zion;

Behold, your King is coming,

Sitting on a donkey’s colt.”

His disciples did not understand these things at first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about Him and that they had done these things to Him.

Therefore the people, who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of his tomb and raised him from the dead, bore witness. For this reason the people also met Him, because they heard that He had done this sign. The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, “You see that you are accomplishing nothing. Look, the world has gone after Him!”

Mark then is going to describe the same thing and then give us another bit of information.

Mark 11:1 Now when they drew near Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples; and He said to them, “Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it. And if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it,’ and immediately he will send it here.”

So they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door outside on the street, and they loosed it. But some of those who stood there said to them, “What are you doing, loosing the colt?”

And they spoke to them just as Jesus had commanded. So they let them go. Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their clothes on it, and He sat on it. And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the trees and spread them on the road. Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:

“Hosanna!

‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’

Blessed is the kingdom of our father David

That comes in the name of the Lord!

Hosanna in the highest!”

And Jesus went into Jerusalem and into the temple. So when He had looked around at all things, as the hour was already late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.

This is Sunday and Yehshua rides in on a colt on this Palm Sunday and then goes up to the Temple and looks around and then leaves going back to Bethany because it was already late.

Mark then continues and tells us the event of the next day which is now Monday.

Mark 11:12 Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And His disciples heard it.

So they came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And He would not allow anyone to carry wares through the temple. Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”

And the scribes and chief priests heard it and sought how they might destroy Him; for they feared Him, because all the people were astonished at His teaching. When evening had come, He went out of the city.

We have now come to the end of the Monday. Mark then goes on to tell us about the events that took place on Tuesday.

Mark 11:20 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.”

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

You can read of all the events that happened that Tuesday in Mark up until Chapter 13. Then we read about Yehshua leaving the Temple and heading back over to the Mount of Olives when He then explains about the end times.

Mark 13:1 Then as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!”

And Jesus answered and said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked Him privately, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign when all these things will be fulfilled?”

And Jesus, answering them, began to say: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, “I am He,’ and will deceive many. But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet.

Mark then goes on to say in Mark 14 that after two days will be Passover. This was on that Tuesday. So we can count 2 days to Thursday when Passover was, and it is two days away.

Mark 14:1 After two days it was the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take Him by trickery and put Him to death.

Mathew 26:1 we read the same statement only this time by Yehshua Himself

Mat 26:1 Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, that He said to His disciples, “You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.”

Then further on in Mathew 26 we read about them getting ready to keep the Passover and this is still that same Tuesday.

Mat 26:17 Now on the first day of the Feast of the Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?”

And He said, “Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, ‘The Teacher says, “My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples.” ’ ”

So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover.

When evening had come, He sat down with the twelve. Now as they were eating, He said, “Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me.”

And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and each of them began to say to Him, “Lord, is it I?”

I have to take this moment and deviate for one second. Many use this verse to justify keeping Passover on the wrong day. Below is a commentary on this one verse. It is now Tuesday and at Sunset will be the beginning of Wednesday and the Preparation day. Passover is still two days away. Passover will be on the Thursday. The entire 7 Days of Unleavened Bread plus the Preparation day before hand are spoken of as the 8 days of Unleavened Bread or they are spoken of as the 8 days of Passover.

Cambridge Bible for Schools and Colleges
17. the first day of the feast of unleavened bread] This was the 14th of Nisan, which commenced after sunset on the 13th; it was also called the preparation (paraskeué) of the Passover. The feast of unleavened bread followed the Passover, and lasted seven days, from the 15th to the 21st of Nisan. Hence the two feasts are sometimes included in the term “Passover,” sometimes in that of “unleavened bread.” On the evening of 13th of Nisan every head of the family carefully searched for and collected by the light of a candle all the leaven, which was kept and destroyed before midday on the 14th. The offering of the lamb took place on the 14th at the evening sacrifice, which on this day commenced at 1.30; or if the preparation fell on a Friday, at 12.30. The paschal meal was celebrated after sunset on the 14th, i. e. strictly on the 15th of Nisan.

The events of the Passover are full of difficulty for the harmonist. It is however almost certain that the “Last Supper” was not the paschal meal, but was partaken of on the 14th, that is after sunset on the 13th of Nisan. It is quite certain, from John 18:28, that Jesus was crucified on the preparation, and although the synoptic narratives seem at first sight to disagree with this, it is probably only the want of a complete knowledge of the facts that creates the apparent discrepancy.

The key verse here is And when evening came, they sat down to eat this supper meal. But it was not the Passover meal as it was still one day away. Remember before the sunset Yehshua said it was still two days away. This is now Tuesday evening which is the start of the 14th of Nisan. The very day Yehshua is to be killed at the same time the lambs are killed.

It is on this fateful Tuesday evening that is now the 14th day of the 1st month when the lambs are slaughtered at 3 PM in the afternoon, that the chain of events takes place with His arrest.

Saturday Sabbath was the 10th day of Nisan.

Sunday was the 11th day of Nisan

Monday was the 12th Day of Nisan

Tuesday was the 13th day of Nisan

Wednesday was the 14th day of Nisan and the Preparation day of the Passover

The Lamb was anointed and examined during the preceding Sabbath on Nisan 10. And this final day when the lamb is to be slaughtered, Nisan 14, Pilot will find no fault in him three times.

Sunday was not the 10th day of the month of Nisan that year. Sabbath was. And the Lamb of God was selected and taken in the home of Lazarus, Martha and Mary on the 10th day as were the lambs for Passover that year. Yehshua was taken into the home of people that He loved.

When people assume or presume that Sunday is the 10th day because of Yehshua riding on the colt, they then create the confusion that we presently have.  Some peoples thinking that because this Sunday was the 10th, they then assume that Yehshua must have been killed on the Thursday.

So we go back to the beginning statement. It is this opening statement that causes the deception. In the exact same way that Satan deceived Eve in the Garden Of Eden. Satan does not deny the facts, he just twists them a little to cause doubt and confusion.

That opening statement states that Palm Sunday is the 10th day when the Lamb is selected. Therefor the 14th is Thursday. The deception then goes on, having already told you that the 10th day was palm Sunday, to solidify that deception by saying if it was not on Sunday, then would Yehshua ride the colt into Jerusalem on the Sabbath. Obviously not. But they have now presumed and also have you thinking that the ride into Jerusalem had to take place on the 10th of Nisan.

And by now you have bought into the lie and fallen for the deception and you then have doubts about many things.

Yehshua was selected by Lazarus, Martha and Mary with the apostles that Sabbath evening when He was invited into their homes. This was the start of Nisan 10 when the lambs are selected. The next morning that very same Sabbath many Jews came to examine Him and to meet Lazarus whom He had raised from the dead. Then on the Sunday, Nisan 11, Yehshua rode into the Jerusalem.

    Joseph,

I think you are wrong and getting wrapped up in Juadaism and Jewish customs that have muddied the pure simple example of scripture for centuries. This is based on last weeks teaching as well. Passover and 1st day of Unleavend Bread are 2 SEPERATE DAYS.

So I have a question- Why do we start Sabbath in the evening when the sun is down? The beginning of the 7th day -which is EREV or ben ha arbayim. THAT is the beginning of the day. The going down of the sun from sunset till complete darkness.
It says right there in Exodus 12:1 that it is the BEGINNING of months, it is the 1st year of the months (based on the NEW MOON).

In Exodus 12:18- KJV-In the first day of the month, on the 14th day of the month at EVEN (my emphasis), ye shall eat unleavened bread until the 21 day of the month at EVEN (my emphasis). If you count the days from 14-21 EVEN to EVEN you get 8 days!

Passover was to be an observance of Yeshua (GOD in flesh-the lamb) killing himself (It happened on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00). The Egyptian children were killed 3 hours prior at the time of midnight. Yehovah did this to redeem us and save us from the slaughter of of the Egyptian first born. It is called FORESHAWDOWING!! He loves us that much. The next day, 14th/15 evening we have the feast of Unleavened Bread as we leave Egypt in a quick, timely manner. This will ALL happen again as this is a rehearsal for things to come in the future.

If we have the Passover on the night of the 1st day of Unleavened Bread and we leave after morning, we are shortening our exodus time by almost a day. Not possible. We have to spoil the Egyptians first, gather in tribes (>2 million people), and collect Joseph’s bones before we leave Ramses. That occurs throughout the first day of Unleavend Bread. according to your reasoning.
So our exodus was 6 days, not 7?

Remember- Satan is a god of Chaos and Confusion. I go with Yehovah and his spirit, not traditions of man. Where does it say that the last supper was a “celebratory banquet for scholars” in the Bible like David H, Stern mentions in last weeks newsletter? Where does it say in the Bible that individuals should have a “fast” prior to the Feast of Unleavened Bread?
These are man made traditions seeped in Judaism.
God is simple, not complicated and pure. God bless y’all. Jo- I will still continue to support, I have learned so much from you.

      Hello Hollie, Joseph and all.
      Happy Sabbath!
The Passover week of Yahshua’s death is something that I researched quite a bit a few decades ago. I agree with you Hollie that the 14th of Abib that year was a Wednesday and that he died around 3pm in the afternoon of that day. He had to, to fulfill all the requirements of being Yah’s Passover Lamb. If we work the chronology backwards, we have the Messiah being crucified that morning at 9am. The next statement I make might bug some folks but Yahshua did not have the last supper and was not betrayed the night before he was crucified. I believe this happened several days before he died to fulfill the 10th day requirement of setting aside and inspecting the Lamb. Working back, the next time stamp we have is found in John 19:14, where Yahshua is with Pilate at Noon (6th hour of the 13th day – Tuesday) and the Jews pick Barabas to be released. That morning, we have Yahshua scourged by the Roman and he gets the crown of thorns. Then we have the narrative about Yahshua starting the day going to Pilate, then sent to Herod (where he was questioned muchly) and then back to Pilate. Yahshua was not whipped nor weakened yet when he faced Pilate and Herod that day – the 12th day or Monday. Working back further, we have the betrayal and last supper probably happening the day before, the 11th day or Sunday. That morning Yahshua tells them to prepare the supper and that nightfall, or the beginning of the 12, he has the last supper and betrayal. Working back again, we have the 10th day – the Sabbath, when he is teaching and reasoning with the Pharisees and Sadducees in the temple. I suggest this is when the inspection began. After this Yahshua separates and hides himself until he is annointed by the oil by the woman. One more day back and we have the Palm day, the 9th or the Friday. The clues are there if we look and reason it out. So, Yahshua did suffer and get tested/inspected for much more than a night before his death! So those that celebrate a memorial of his last supper/foot washing on the nighttime beginning of the 14th because they believe that’s when he did it…..are wrong. Yahshua did not institute another holy day to be observed, he simply gave us new symbols (his body and blood) to use on the 15th High Day evening – the Passover meal. He should be the focus of that night to be much observed, not a physical lamb, bitter herbs, leavened bread and wine. He upped the meaning to the spiritual intent that it always should have had. He also instituted the foot washing to remind us to be humble servants. I hope some of this was useful. It is a shame that we’ve been mislead for 2000 years about what really happened that historic week. Thanks Jake

      Shalom:

How do you reckon the account of John, where in Chapter 13 Yeshua and His disciples are having (what some say is the Passover), yet in Chapter 18:28 it is clear that the Passover has not yet been eaten? (See also 18:39, 19:14 and 19:31.) And if that meal in John 13 was indeed the Passover, the lamb would likely have had to be slaughtered from the 13th, which would not be in accordance with the Bible. Thirdly, If the Passover is to be sacrificed on the 14th, as Joe was trying to show, wouldn’t the sacrifice of Yeshua, as you put it “(GOD in flesh-the lamb) killing himself” be right in line with that, since as John puts it the events leading up to his death took place on the Preparation Day?

        Hi Vivian,
Yahshua and His disciples did not have the Passover meal as He was to be killed on the 14th and become the Passover lamb. I agree that the 14th, in the afternoon, is when the lambs are slaughtered, which is when he did indeed die. This was the Preparation Day before the High day of the 15th (on a Thursday that year). The Gospels contain quite a bit of wording that is a misdirection regarding the timing of the last supper in relation to Passover. Like Mt 26:17, which says it is the first day of Unleavened bread already when the disciples ask Yahshua where they should prepare the Passover supper. Whomever translated these verses, clearly had no understanding of the sequence of events surrounding the Passover week nor Yahshua’s death. Yahshua did not come to change the Torah but to fulfill it and all the requirements related to being the Messiah and the Atonement for us. I think we are on the same page when it come to the 14th.
        Thanks
        Jake

Joseph, I think you can do better that using pagan names in your articles! You have so much knowledge, yet for some reason you cannot acknowledge that our Heavenly Father and the Messiah have Names that are not lord, god, jesus, christ, etc.
Please start using the correct Names and titles exclusively.

“Passover was on the Thursday. It was the High day John mentions. Passover is eaten after the sunset at the end of the 14th day when the lambs are killed. Yehshua was killed and was our Passover lamb killed at 3 PM on Wednesday afternoon, the 14th of Nisan.”

This is a quote from this article and it does not appear to be logical to me:

I read it to understand that both the Wednesday and the Thursday are the 14th. How can both Wednesday and Thursday be the 14th ( I understand about the evening and morning being a day, but even that does not seem to fit)? Was Jeshua killed on the !3th or 14th? Was Passover the day he was Killed or the day after he died? Is Passover celebrated the day after his death? Isn’t Passover supposed to be the15th?

Yeshua was killed on the 14th; He was nailed to the tree at the time of the morning sacrifice at 9am and died at the time of the evening sacrifice at 3pm.

Although we commonly refer to Passover as a day, or even a week, it is a sacrifice. The Passover sacrifice included both slaying it on the 14th and eating it on the 15th.

So, the Passover lamb or goat was sacrificed on the 14th, but eaten that night with bitter herbs and unleavened bread as the Feast of Unleavened Bread began on the 15th.

Joseph, I really appreciate your teachings and look forward to them each week! I have a question involving the 9/22/23 date of the possible “Abomination that makes desolate. If Yeshua said in Matthew 24 that when those in Judah see this Abomination, they need to flee to the Wilderness. Through your teachings, it is my understanding that we will be gathered to Israel about 2030. What will those in the Judean Wilderess be doing for the 7 years prior? Will things be speeded up if the Abomination comes in Sept. of this year? Thank you in advance.

There are two times to flee.

The first time is when the abomination is set up. The key might be “he who reads, let him understand”. This may also be a message for those with ears to hear that it is time to flee to the nations.

The second time is Passover 2030 when the remnant flees into Moab via the new valley that is created when the Mount of Olives splits in two (Zechariah 14:4).
