The World Seeks a Sign

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shalom to The Royal Family of Yehovah,

“More Proof we are on Yehovah’s Schedule this year”

Last week we wrote you to let you know about the wheat harvest already taking place in Israel on May 10 and May 22, 2016. We have re-posted it here again for your referral.

A dear sister then sent me this article from May 3, 2016 in Israel. It shows orthodox Jews in Israel harvesting wheat in order to make matzo bread. You are allowed to use one of 5 grains to do this. I was surprised to learn this as I had believed all Matzo bread was from barley. I seem to have been wrong about that.

The Feast of Shavuot is also known as the Feast of First Fruits and we kept this Feast on May 15, 2016 having kept the wave sheaf day on March 27, 2016.

For The first wave offering you are to give Yehovah the First of your Barley Fruit offerings. Not the last, but the very first.

Lev 23:10 Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap the harvest of it, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 And he shall wave the sheaf before Jehovah to be received for you. On the next day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

Then for Shavuot you are commanded to offer another first fruit offering. First Fruits not the last or the seconds but the very first fruits.

Lev 23:16 To the next day after the seventh sabbath you shall number fifty days. And you shall offer a new food offering to Jehovah.  17 You shall bring out of your homes two wave loaves of two-tenth parts. They shall be of fine flour. They shall be baked with leaven, firstfruits to Jehovah.

And we are told in verse 14 to not eat anything until we have made that wave offering of first fruits.

Lev 23:14 And you shall eat neither bread (lechim), nor parched grain (gahli), nor green ears (Charmel), until the same day, until you have brought an offering to your God. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

“Lechem” in this case does not mean “leavened bread” in the opposite sense that “matzah” means “unleavened bread”. Here, lechem, means “grain for making bread”. Then, qahli (roasted grain) is grain that has been prepared for making into flour, and finally, charmel (fresh grain or “new growth”), refers to grain from a new crop. Thus, Leviticus 23:14, in context, is referring to bread made from new grain from the fresh (this current season’s) crop is not to be used for food until the sheaf of first fruits has been waved before Yehovah.

For those keeping Passover in April, Shavuot is then on June 12, 2016 and yet here we see in Israel the wheat being harvested and prepared for Matzo bread way back on May 3rd. This current season’s crop is being used for food and prepared for food over one month before what many are saying is Shavuot on June 12.

You are commanded to bring the First Fruits, not the leftovers and not the seconds but the first fruits are to go to Yehovah. Again I am being vindicated by Yehovah after all the hate mail and mean spirited things people have written because we stepped out and declared the New Year in March. This Shmitah Year began March 10, 2016 among great controversy. Yehovah is now clearly showing us when He has set the times. Will we now listen?

The Blood Moons in 2014 and 2015 fell on the Feast days of Passover and Sukkot and they warned us of coming war. This year in 2016 the Dark moons warning of famine fell on Passover and will again come on Sukkot. And now we have famine creating anarchy in Venezuela.

We never chose March 10 to begin the year just so our teaching on the Blood Moons would be correct. Now the very crops in Israel are confirming Yehovah’s timing and by that we know the Dark moons this year are very important. Epecially since the news now is about the people in Venezuela eating dogs and stray animals to survive.

As all of you know, this year of 2016 began in great controversy over the barley being aviv. Yet on March 27, the wave sheaf day, we had Nehemiah Gordon in his video (go to this link and look under March 27, 2016) confirm that the Barley was indeed aviv and already reseeding itself. It was based on this report that I was confident that the month of March was when Passover should be kept. Nehemiah and I disagree when the barley must be ready. He says by the end of the 12th month and I say by the wave sheaf day. This year that was March 27.

So then, if indeed the Barley was aviv March 27, 2016 and Shavuot then is May 15, 2016, the question people have been asking me is, will the wheat be ready for Shavuot on May 15?

You all have to decide for yourselves. So here are to videos of the wheat fields in Israel. the first one is in Spanish and is videoed on May 10, 2016, near Cana of Galilee on RT 77. The second video was taken on May 22, 2016 near Bet Shemesh. It appears to me that the wheat fields are ready and are being harvested.

Brethren, the barley was controversial this year. We advised you to keep two Passovers just in case, until we saw the results of Wave Sheaf day March 27. Now we have the wheat being harvested at the time we believed Shavuot would be on May 15. I believe Yehovah is showing us when the year began by the crops in Israel. I am listening as best I can to Yehovah. Are You?

The fall Feasts will be as follows:

Friday Sept 2, 2016 to Saturday Sept 3, 2016 will be the Feast of Trumpets if the moon is sighted. If not then the next day Sunday will be the Feast of Trumpets.

Assuming the moon is sighted then Atonement will be Sunset Sept 11 to sunset Sept 12.

The Feast of Sukkot will begin on Friday evening Sept 16 and Saturday Sept 17.

The 8th Day will be Friday Sunset Sept 23, to sunset Saturday Sept 24, 2016

“Special Announcement “

Shalom Brethren, a couple months ago I wrote you and advised you about the departure of James Relf our tech person who keeps this web site working for all of us. I also asked for those of you who could to step forward if you wanted to help. Some of you did and others began to donate. I want to thank you all for doing so. I get overwhelmed at times with the many things I am trying to do.

We now have Rob Navarro from the Philippines helping me do the editing of the videos that have not been done since we shot them last fall. The first one to be completed is now ready and you can view it here.

We also have some others offering to help. And I am trying to put them to work doing those things that need to be done that get no glory or credit but I thank those ladies as well. And if you wrote to help and I have not given you a job, then please write again.

Two weeks ago I went down to Ohio for a meeting with a couple of men. Jim Fincham has written an article for us in the past and has been willing to step up and correct me in love at times when I needed it. It took some getting used to but I see his heart and his desire to share this message to the world. He already does this daily at work and where-ever he can. We have asked Jim to come on board and be our CEO and help us going forward in keeping us focused on our goals and targets. He has agreed to do so and we asked him to write you a letter to introduce himself to you.

We are also working with a couple of men in the Philippines but have not yet got things worked out with them. And we have some doing French translations for us but they are not all working together. We also have some people in other countries and other languages we are approaching to help do this work.

Also at the meeting in Ohio was James Relf who was my web site Technician. He has agreed to come back and continue to work with us in the things we are trying to do. Much to my relief. We did get a few people who wanted to help in this area, and hope to be able to use one of them in about 6 months time. Jim has also written a letter below for you all to read.

We are going to send James to Burundi, Africa this fall. It is going to cost us about $10,000 when all is said and done. I once again ask you to help us get this part of our mission done. I thank those of you have helped in the past and I want you to know where we are putting your money to work. But as usual we do not have enough and it still must be paid. For this reason I work my full time job to help cover the shortfalls. And we will be very short on this mission, but we are going to get it done. Please do consider helping us in this.

We also decided at this meeting on another course of action and have been working towards this for a few months. Jim and James also felt it needs to get done and I continue to work on it. We can still use more help.

We need contacts in South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, China, Russia, Europe, and South America. We need people dedicated to teaching and sharing the truth. People who are not interested in their own self promotion and willing to take instruction. We need ministries who want to work with us to step up. We need the help of everyone to get the work in front of us done. One person wrote to us about marketing and I have not been able to find your email. Please write us again. We need people to work with us and for us without us being on their backs to get things done. We need help working the social media side of this work. We have had setbacks as many of you know. We will have more in the future. But the time clock of Yehovah stops for no man and each day we get closer to the horror that is about to sweep the whole world. We need your help to warn as many of that world as we can.

I could tell you about how the efforts of one woman brought about great things. But I would have to tell you about 4 or 5 stories in this regard. Do not underestimate what you can do when Yehovah is with you.
Please if you want to help and if you have a specialty that we could use then contact us. I am just not able to do it alone anymore.

Greetings to those searching to become the Sons of Elohim. My name is Jim Fincham. Joseph has asked me to assist him in his efforts at Sighted Moon as CEO. I am a Certified Professional Soil Scientist. I have a Consulting business and thoroughly enjoy this earth the Creator has blessed us all with as a platform to come to Him Through His instructions.

I grew up on a dairy farm in Iowa, plowing, planting and harvesting every year. Interestingly, we tried to leave one field fallow each year. Most farmers would either leave a field fallow (not growing crops) or they would plant a cover crop and plow it under the next year. A practice that is very similar to the instructions for the Sabbatical Schmitah year. I began studying Torah in about 1986 and learned about the Jubilee cycles. I tried to keep my first Schmitah in 2006, but I had no idea of what I was doing, I did the best I could. I learned a lot that year and kept studying. In 2010 I ran into Joseph Dumond and Sighted Moon. (Neither one of us was seriously injured although Joseph has accused me of beating him up on occasion since). I bought the Prophecies of Abraham then the 2016 book and then the 2300 Days of Hell. Joseph has become a dear friend, whom I find is willing to take criticism along with compliments. Joseph’s approach is one of great enthusiasm for what YHVH has lead him to understand. Many find him so enthusiastic that he comes across as abrasive and thus are put off and discontinue any contact with Sighted Moon. I admit that end time prophecies can be downright scary and with all the teachers teaching the same scriptures, each with their own slant, it can be confusing. May I suggest that Joseph’s approach of using not only scripture, but historical facts from any and all references, has produced a perspective that few have matched. I support Joseph in his teachings. Perhaps I am a little more reserved as to just when specific events are going to happen, but consider this. There is more than one event on the horizon for which we know neither the day nor the hour.

The day and hour of the end of our personal walk in qualifying to be “The Bride”, the moment when our last breath leaves our body, that point at which our interaction with events on this earth come to an end and we can no longer affect our repentance, the point where study of Torah, changing who we are before our Creator has come to an end, is every bit a part of what the Sighted Moon ministry is all about. End time prophecies all of a sudden are not our concern and if we did not pay attention to those who seemingly were beating us up over those hard to understand scriptural concepts that said

“Repent, Teshuva now before it is to late,” we may have missed the boat. Torah is not really “Law”, it is the instructions on how to live on this earth, IF you want to become a “SON Of the Living Elohim”. Those who do not desire that, need not obey any thing in Torah. However they will wind up someplace other than in the Kingdom as the Bride.

In my opinion, Joseph is not just talking about the absolute end of the World as we know it as much as he is warning us of the imminent, totally unknown day of our death and separation from the Physical body. My brothers and sisters, Joseph is doing just that. Prophets (those who teach truth from Torah) have been doing this for 2016 years, since the disciples asked Yehshua “when will the time of your coming be”? We are no different. We look for the end of the world and pay very little heed to the end of the world for us personally.

I encourage you to study from this perspective and apply the teachings to your life as if your salvation depended upon it TODAY. It may well be that today is the end of the world for some of us. I hope and pray I will see many of you in the Kingdom of YHVH through the mercies He expresses through Yehshua and His prophets. I thoroughly hope you will continue with Sighted Moon in the future. We are planning some exciting things. Shalom Aleichem

Jim Fincham

My name is James Relf and I was and am the technical expert for Sightedmoon. About a couple of months ago I was going through some very difficult situations in my personal life and as many of you know through the newsletters, and they can seem all consuming when you are going through them. I thought that the best course of action was to leave Sightedmoon and find full time work. Although I have not dealt with all of my problems, I can tell you that most of my problems were that I let them take precedence over my life instead of keeping my eyes on YHVH and letting Him deal with them.

I am writing to let you know that I am back with Sightedmoon, working alongside of Joseph to continue in assisting him with any technology issues he may encounter as we move forward. I will also be pursuing my first passion and that is to teach Torah, and in that light I will bring you our first bit of news.

About 14 years ago through the working of YHVH, I was introduced to Rev. Telesphore Ntashimikiro who is the bishop of Burundi, Africa. It is a small country with Rwanda above, and the Congo on the one side.

When I met Telesphore, we sat for more than 90 minutes and just talked about the Bible in a small back room of the house where in the next room they were having a huge get together for the future President of Burundi. It was truly as if YHVH had brought the two of us together for some greater reason. His only request to me after we finished was to return with him to Africa, and teach the pastors of his 65 churches that he had under him. While they were pastors, their knowledge of the Bible was still rudimentary and they had no concept of Torah, the Sabbath, Feasts or Sabbatical Years.

Of course at that time I could not go because it was not my time and I was still under YHVH’s direction with many things yet to learn. During the past 14 years I have kept in touch with Telesphore, assisting where I could, guiding him when possible and sending him material when available.

Last year, Joe and I tried to make it over to Burundi to share with them. Again it was not meant to be. Now this sabbatical year just before Sukkot, we have decided it is time for me to go and fulfill my word to Telesphore and introduce to the people of Burundi the concepts and laws of Torah by teaching them as YHVH sees fit for me to instruct.

Although I am extremely excited, I take this very seriously and understand that while those who teach may have the greatest reward in the Kingdom, they also have the most serious punishment if they mislead the people. I have been preparing myself for the past 30 years to go to Africa and instruct others in the Word of YHVH, and I will do my best to represent His Kingdom while I am there.

After speaking with Bishop Telesphore this week I found out their situation is very serious after this last election. The economy is in a bad state and most of his flock are spending most of their days just trying to find food for their families. While we have things tough over here at times I think to be fair we need to keep things in perspective and consider that there are many others out there who desperately what to serve and be part of the Kingdom of YHVH, but their situation prevent them or inhibit them from being very serious. While i can instruct them about Torah, they very much need our help. Please pray and consider this the next time you go through your next testing from YHVH.

James Relf

“The Shemitah year of 2016”

Thought I would try something new. Sent to me from our CEO Jim Fincham.

Again I am going to share with you the commandments for the Sabbatical year, maybe each week until you have it memorized. The Sabbatical year began with the sighting of the moon on the evening of March 10, 2016.

1)  Do not plant

2) Do not harvest

Lev 25:3  You shall sow your field six years, and you shall prune your vineyard six years, and gather in the fruit of it. 4  But in the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of rest to the land, a Sabbath for Jehovah. You shall neither sow your field, nor prune your vineyard. 5  You shall not reap that which grows of its own accord of your harvest, neither gather the grapes of your undressed vine. It is a year of rest to the land.

3) You can eat what grows on it’s own.

Lev 25:6  And the Sabbath of the land shall be food for you, for you and for your servant, and for your slave woman and for your hired servant, and for your stranger who stays with you, 7  and for your cattle, and for the beast that is in your land, shall all the increase of it be for food.

4) Stock up on food in the 6th year.

Lev 25:20  And if you shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? Behold, we shall not sow nor gather in our increase! 21  Then I will command My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

5) Forgive any debts people owed to you by Sukkot.

Deu 15:1  At the end of every seven years you shall make a release. 2  And this is the manner of the release. Every man who has a loan to his neighbor shall release it. He shall not exact it from his neighbor, or from his brother, because it is called Jehovah’s release. 3  You may exact it from a foreigner, but your hand shall release that which is yours with your brother,

6) Read the Torah out loud at Sukkot so all can hear it being read.

Deu 31:10  And Moses commanded them, saying: At the end of seven years, at the set time of the year of release, in the Feast of Tabernacles, 11  when all Israel has come to appear before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose, you shall read this Law before all Israel in their hearing. 12  Gather the people, men and women and the little ones, and your stranger who is within your gates, so that they may hear and that they may learn and fear Jehovah your God, and be careful to do all the words of this Law, 13andthat their sons who have not known may hear and learn to fear Jehovah your God, as long as you live in the land where you go over Jordan to possess it.

And by now you should also have completed all your obligations to the widows, orphan, and Levites from your tithes for the 6th year that is now past.

Deu 14:28  At the end of three years you shall bring forth all the tithe of your increase the same year, and shall lay it up inside your gates. 29  And the Levite, because he has no part nor inheritance with you, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are inside your gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied, so that Jehovah your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

Ask Yehovah to bless you for having completed this task and then ask Him to bless your efforts as you keep the Sabbatical year and keep your food safe from decay or flood or hydro blackouts and from scavengers like rodents. Ask Him to protect it and to bless you for keeping His commandments.

Deu 26:12  When you have made an end of tithing all the tithes of your increase the third year, the year of tithing, and have given it to the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow (that they may eat inside your gates and be filled), 13  then you shall say before Jehovah your God, I have brought away the holy things out of my house, and also have given them to the Levite, and to the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all Your commandments which You have commanded me. I have not broken Your commandments, neither have I forgotten. 14  I have not eaten of it in my mourning, neither have I putany of it away for unclean use, nor have I given of it for the dead. I have listened to the voice of Jehovah my God, and have done according to all that You have commanded me. 15  Look down from Your holy dwelling, from Heaven, and bless Your people Israel and the land which You have given us, as You swore to our fathers, a land that flows with milk and honey. 16  Today Jehovah your God has commanded you to do these statutes and judgments. You therefore shall keep and do them with all your heart and with all your soul. 17  You have today said that Jehovah is your God, and that you would walk in His ways, and keep His statutes and His commandments and His judgments, and listen to His voice. 18  And Jehovah has taken you today to be His peculiar people, as He has promised you, and to keep all His commandments, 19 and to make you high above all nations which He has made, in praise and in name and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to Jehovah your God, even as He has spoken.

May Yehovah bless each and every one of you for keeping the Sabbatical year commandment and breaking the curses that are upon our nations because we have not kept them in the past.

“Mail Bag”

Great write up. It’s about time we stand for the truth about Shabbat. There is so much widespread confusion coming from Satan, and many brothers and sisters are swallowing it whole, both out of ignorance and for convenience. Thank you for speaking the truth on this matter. It’s time for all of us to get off the baby milk and prepare to eat solid food!

Hey Joe

Just a line of encouragement.  Awesome reminder of doing the sabbatical year.  It sure is a challenge some days, but allows for a testimony that’s for SURE.

A lot of people are not even slightly prepared, even they’ve been coming to Sabbath service.   I cannot condemn them, and I know that.  Because I remember when I was trying to figure this all out.  It took time.  But this year, there is no excuse for me.

Bless You Joe, the letter was well put together.  Wow, Yehovah sure is with you, helping you.  I know it takes a LOT of your time.  You will be blessed.

Yehovah Bless You Many Times Over Joe

HalleluYah , great newsletter ! and yes ‘arms of Israel” is a bunch of liars and deceivers. I met them in the 90ties and distant myself very fast after I tested their different turning the word around ; top of all was that a friend who was with them tried to convince me of this rotten lunar Sabbath crap ..I played it all through and boy I can tell you you get off the way of truth if you seriously follow along that satanic pathway! Their leader also stands up for polygamy.

Thanks Joseph you are another witness to my spirit that what I understood not to be of Yah because His Spirit showed me indeed was not of Yah.  So happy He did and I noticed it and took correction! Praise Yah !
may your 7th day be complete by Yah’s shalom in His love,

Shabbat Shalom achi!
with love & shalom,
Birgitt & Sammy

“The World Seeks a Sign”

On Monday June 6 we expect the moon to be seen and begin the 4th month of Yehovah’s time clock. The 29th day of the month is Saturday evening and Sunday and Sunday evening and Monday is the 30th day. The moon will not be visible as it sets very shortly after sunset Saturday evening. Thus Sunday evening and Monday is the 30th day of the 3rd month.

We are to pray to Yehovah asking Him to teach us how to count and in so doing gain a heart of wisdom.

Psa 90:12  So teach us to number our days, so that we may bring a heart of wisdom.

How does counting give you wisdom?

2Ti 2:15  Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

Pro 4:5  Get wisdom, get understanding; forget not; nor turn away from the words of my mouth.  6  Do not forsake her, and she shall preserve you; love her, and she shall keep you.  7  Wisdom is the main thing; get wisdom; and with all your getting get understanding.

Yehovah is telling you to get wisdom. He is telling you to wise up and to stop being simple minded.

Pro 1:22  How long will you love simplicity, simple ones? And will scorners delight in their scorning? And will fools hate knowledge?  23  Turn at my warning; behold, I will pour out my Spirit to you; I will make my words known to you.  24  Because I called, and you refused; I stretched out my hand, and no one paid attention;  25  but you have despised all my advice, and would have none of my warning.  26  I also will laugh at your trouble; I will mock when your fear comes;  27  when your fear comes as a wasting away, and your ruin comes like a tempest when trouble and pain come upon you.  28  Then they shall call upon me, and I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me;  29  instead they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of Jehovah.  30  They would have none of my counsel; they despised all my correction,  31  and they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own desires.  32  For the turning away of the simple kills them, and the ease of fools destroys them.  33  But whoever listens to me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Some people are upset at me for exposing the false teachings and teachers last week about the Sabbath. Would any of you recognize or know Elijah if he was standing in front of you speaking? Or would you say he was too rough, too mean spirited, or he was just a fear monger?

He did make fun of the 480 false prophets. He asked the people to choose Baal if Baal was God and if not to choose Yehovah if He was Elohim. And once Yehovah revealed Himself, Elijah slew all 480 false prophets. Some of you will think that is cruel on Elijah’s part. Elijah needed to be more patient with them and to give them more time to come around. Many of you have been tainted by the liberal society you find yourself in.

Pro 2:1  My son, if you will receive my words and hide my commandments with you,  2  so that you attend to wisdom, you shall extend your heart to understanding;  3  yea, if you cry after knowledge and lift up your voice for understanding;  4  if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures,  5  then you shall understand the fear of Jehovah and find the knowledge of God.  6  For Jehovah gives wisdom; out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding.  7  He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly.  8  He keeps the paths of judgment, and guards the way of His saints.  9  Then you shall understand righteousness and judgment and honesty, every good path.

Pro 3:11  My son, do not despise the chastening of Jehovah; nor be weary with His correction;  12  for whom Jehovah loves He corrects, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.  13  Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gets understanding. 14  For the profit from it is better than the gain from silver, and its produce more than fine gold;  15  she is more precious than rubies; and all the things you can desire are not to be compared with her.  16  Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand, riches and honor.  17  Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.  18  She is a tree of life to those who lay hold upon her; and happy is everyone who keeps her.  19  Jehovah has founded the earth by wisdom; by understanding He has founded the heavens.  20  By His knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.  21  My son, do not let them depart from your eyes; keep sound wisdom and judgment,  22  and they shall be life to your soul and grace to your neck;  23  then you shall walk in your way safely, and your foot shall not stumble.  24  When you lie down, you shall not be afraid; yea, you shall lie down, and your sleep shall be sweet.  25  Do not be afraid of sudden fear, nor of the destroying of the wicked, when it comes.  26  For Jehovah shall be your hope, and shall keep your foot from being taken.

Pro 19:8  He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; he who keeps understanding shall find good.  9  A false witness shall not be unpunished, and one speaking lies shall perish.

This is why the 480 false prophets were killed.

Pro 23:23  Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.  6  But let him ask in faith, doubting nothing. For he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.

We are told to count the Omer and we are told to count the days of the month, which are either 29, or 30 days in length. We are told to count to each Holy Day in Lev 23.

The question is why are we not sure which day the Holy Days will be? Get wisdom and you will understand!

This is because the sighting of the moon is what determines the new month as the Talmud and history clearly show us. The Current Hebrew Calendar using the conjunction moon or the dark moon only started once the Jews were forced into Diaspora. It was at this time that Hillel came up with the Hebrew calendar so that those who were far from Jerusalem could calculate approximately when the Feast of Trumpets would occur. And because of the human factor of actually seeing the moon, it could not be known until word was sent and this is also why most of those in the Diaspora kept two days for the feast of Trumpets.

The Talmud clearly shows the sighting of the moon was the method to begin each month before the Diaspora.

[The Jewish diaspora (or simply the Diaspora) is the English term used to describe the Galut  (Yiddish: ‘Golus’), or ‘exile’, of the Jews from the region of the Kingdom of Judah and Roman Iudaea and later emigration from wider Eretz Israel.

The diaspora is commonly accepted to have begun with the 6th century BC conquest of the ancient Kingdom of Judah, destruction of the First Temple (c. 586 BC), and expulsion of the population, which is recorded in the Bible. The second major event in the dispersal is popularly thought to be the destruction of the Second Temple and aftermath of the Bar Kokhba revolt during the Roman occupation of Judea in the 1st and 2nd centuries AD, although scholars generally believe that the effect of these events on the dispersal of the Jewish community was much less than their role in later communal narratives would indicate. ]

Read what is written about Hillel here;

Hillel II (Hillel the Nasi), also known simply as Hillel held the office of Nasi of the ancient Jewish Sanhedrin between 320 and 385 CE. He was the son and successor of Judah III. He was a Jewish communal and religious authority, circa 330 – 365 CE. He is sometimes confused with Hillel the Elder, as the Talmud sometimes simply uses the name “Hillel”.

In two instances his name is quoted in connection with important decisions in Jewish law: in one, Jose ben Abin expounds to him a law; in the other, Hillel cites a mishnah to establish a law (Yer. Ber. ii. 5a; Yer. Ter. i. 41a).

He is traditionally regarded as the creator of the modern fixed Hebrew calendar. It first appears in a responsum of R. Hai Gaon (early eleventh century) cited by R. Abraham bar Hiyya in his Sefer Ha’ibbur, written in 1123. The topic of that responsum is the 19-year cycle for leap-year intercalations, so the most that can be inferred from that attribution is that Hillel was responsible for the adoption of that cycle for the regulation of the distribution of leap-years.

The 19 year cycles that Hillel used are known as the Metonic cycles discoverd by a greek named Meton in the 5th century BC.

Actually there is in fact much more that can be inferred from this citation. The citation explicitly refers to the year that this event happened, 670 of the Seleucid era, which corresponds to 358/9 CE. The Molad of Tishrei for that year 4119 would be Sat 23 hours and 233 parts. Under the Gregorian calendar this would be Sat, Sept 20, 0358 17:12. Rosh Hashanah would have begun Friday evening but not before, according to lunar science, a very bright Old Moon will rise Friday morning at 4:11 AM, an hour and 34 minutes before sunrise. The significance of this can be found in the Talmud Rosh Hashanah 25a.

Scholars who have studied the history of the Hebrew calendar are in general agreement (and there is much evidence for this in the Talmud itself and in other rabbinic sources) that in practice, the evolution of the calendar into its present form was a gradual process spanning several centuries from the first to about the eighth or ninth century CE. The champion of the view that the calendar was developed in the eighth or ninth century CE is Sacha Stern. This quote is from page 184-5 of his book Calendar and Community

“Of far greater importance, however, is a much later document from the Cairo Geniza: a letter of a Babylonian exilarch – one of the main leaders of the Rabbanite community – with detailed calendrical instructions for the year 835/6 CE. The letter reveals that Passover (15 Nisan) in that year was due to occur on a Tuesday; whilst according to the present-day rabbinic calendar, it should have occurred on Thursday. According to the exilarch, the setting of Passover on Tuesday was dictated by a concern to avoid visibility of the new moon before the first day of the month. This concern does not exist in the present-day rabbinic calendar. Once discovered and published in 1922, the exilarch’s letter proved beyond doubt that almost five hundred years after R.Yose and ‘Hillel the Patriarch’, then fixed calendar in its present-day form had still not been instituted.”

Read again and notice that the fixed or the present day Hebrew Calendar in 835/6 CE this Hebrew calendar had not yet begun to be used. They were still using the crescent moon to begin the month.

Then also we have the Great Rambam who only instituted the present Hebrew Calendar in the 12th century CE. What all of this means is that the current Hebrew calendar has only been around for the past 800 years.

In Carta’s Illustrated Encyclopedia of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem when you read the chapter on Rosh Hashanah it is all about the two witnesses that come to testify they saw the new crescent moon and once they have been found to be true then how the High Priest announced that this day was now Holy and how others were dispatched to set signal fires and ride horses to other towns to let them also know that this day was the Feast of Trumpets.

And word was only sent once Two Witnesses had come forward. This ties right into the Two Witnesses at the end of this current age and when they will be doing a work. One of those two witnesses was to be in the spirit of Elijah. Go figure.

The other part of this time of the year that I find most amazing; and most Christians just can’t grasp because of their ignorance to obey the commandments of Lev 23, is the clear statement Yehshua made regarding when he would return.

They are quick to quote Mat 24:36 “But concerning that day and the hour no one knows, not even the messengers of the heavens, but My Father only.1 Footnote:1Mk. 13:32. 37 “And as the days of Noah, so also shall the coming of the Son of Adam be.

Yehshua was clearly stating what was common knowledge in His day. The Feast that no one knows the day or the hour of is the Feast of Trumpets and it is not known because we have to wait and see if anyone saw the moon. If it is cloudy then the moon will not be seen. If the haze is too thick then the moon will not be seen. If it sets too close after the sun sets then the moon will not be seen; All variables that Yehovah could send to change the day by one day. In the same way the growth of the Barley to begin the year can change the calendar year by one month. It is Yehovah who determines the seasons and when the Feast days are to occur, not man.

This is why ‘No man can know the day or the hour’, we must wait to see if anyone saw the moon and we must test the witnesses to make sure they are trustworthy.

And the second part to the verse above referring to Noah is clear statement to the sabbatical cycle. As it was in the day of Noah, that is at the same time in the 6th Sabbatical cycle in the 3rd year of that 6th Sabbatical cycle, so shall the coming of man be; that is in our sixth Sabbatical cycle in the 3rd year of that cycle which is the year 2033 at Trumpets.

Those who keep Yehovah’s Sabbaths. Plural!!!!! The Weekly Sabbath, the Annual Holy Days as shown to you in Lev 23 and only them, and the Sabbatical years as shown to you in Lev 25. These are His Sabbaths and those who keep them no matter who you are will be blessed and those who do keep them understand when Yehshua is to return and why.

Isa 56:1 Thus said Yehovah, “Guard right-ruling, and do righteousness, for near is My deliverance to come, and My righteousness to be revealed. 2 “Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it, guarding the Sabbath lest he profane it, and guarding his hand from doing any evil. 3 “And let not the son of the foreigner who has joined himself to Yehovah speak, saying, ‘Yehovah has certainly separated me from His people,’ nor let the eunuch say, ‘Look I am a dry tree.’ ” 4 For thus said Yehovah, “To the eunuchs who guard My Sabbaths, and have chosen what pleases Me, and hold fast to My covenant: 5 to them I shall give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters – I give them an everlasting name that is not cut off. 6 “Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to Yehovah, to serve Him, and to love the Name of Yehovah, to be His servants, all who guard the Sabbath, and not profane it, and hold fast to My covenant – 7 them I shall bring to My set-apart mountain, and let them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their slaughterings are accepted on My altar, for My house is called a house of prayer for all the peoples.” 8 The Master Yehovah, who gathers the outcasts of Yisra’l, declares, “I gather still others to him besides those who are gathered to him.”

Everyone who keep the Sabbaths, the Holy Days and the Sabbatical years will be grafted into Israel and be a part of the Kingdom of Yehovah. Those who will not keep these Sabbaths will be told when Yehshua returns, Mat 7:23 “And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!’1 Footnote: 1 See v. 15.

In Revelation 13 we are told of another beast that causes the world to receive a mark on its hand and forehead;

11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

Many think this beast is another church organization. The False Church. This church causes the mark to be on the hand and on the forehead. But this not just the false church. It is also those who call themselves brethren and then teach you not to keep the Sabbaths or to keep them and the Holy Days or Sabbatical years at the wrong time.

In order to know what that mark is that they are going to have, we can find out only when we know what the mark of Yehovah is. This will remove all those who speculate as to what this mark of the beast is. This mark of Yehovah is described in the scriptures as follows.

We read in Exodus 13:1-10 -1

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Consecrate to Me all the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and beast; it is Mine.” 3 And Moses said to the people: “Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out of this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten. 4 On this day you are going out, in the month Abib. 5 And it shall be, when the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, which He swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this service in this month. 6 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a feast to the Lord. 7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days. And no leavened bread shall be seen among you, nor shall leaven be seen among you in all your quarters. 8 And you shall tell your son in that day, saying, This is done because of what the Lord did for me when I came up from Egypt. 9 It shall be as a sign to you on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes, that the Lord’s law may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand the Lord has brought you out of Egypt. 10 You shall therefore keep this ordinance in its season from year to year.

Here we have a sign that would be on our hand and a memorial in our forehead (between our eyes). What is that sign? It was the keeping of Passover in chapter 12 and here in chapter 13. It is the keeping of the days of Unleavened Bread. A sign that we are to keep from year to year.

Exodus 31:12-18 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 13 “Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you. 14 You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people. 15 Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. 16 Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. 17 It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed. ” 18 And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.

Deuteronomy 6:1 – “Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the Lord your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, 2 that you may fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. 3 Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the Lord God of your fathers has promised you a land flowing with milk and honey.
4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. 6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates.

Deuteronomy 11:1 – “Therefore you shall love the Lord your God, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always.18 “Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 19 You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 20 And you shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates, 21 that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth. 22 “For if you carefully keep all these commandments which I command you to do “to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him“ 23 then the Lord will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will dispossess greater and mightier nations than yourselves. 24 Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory. 25 No man shall be able to stand against you; the Lord your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, just as He has said to you.

Ezekiel 20:10-26 “Therefore I made them go out of the land of Egypt and brought them into the wilderness. 11 And I gave them My statutes and showed them My judgments, which, if a man does, he shall live by them.12 Moreover I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me, that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them. 13 Yet the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness; they did not walk in My statutes; they despised My judgments, which, if a man does, he shall live by them; and they greatly defiled My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them in the wilderness, to consume them. 14 But I acted for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned before the Gentiles, in whose sight I had brought them out. 15 So I also raised My hand in an oath to them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, the glory of all lands, 16 because they despised My judgments and did not walk in My statutes, but profaned My Sabbaths; for their heart went after their idols. 17 Nevertheless My eye spared them from destruction. I did not make an end of them in the wilderness. 18 “But I said to their children in the wilderness, Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, nor observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols. 19 I am the Lord your God: Walk in My statutes, keep My judgments, and do them; 20 hallow My Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God. 21 Notwithstanding, the children rebelled against Me; they did not walk in My statutes, and were not careful to observe My judgments, ‘which, if a man does, he shall live by them; but they profaned My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them and fulfill My anger against them in the wilderness. 22 Nevertheless I withdrew My hand and acted for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the Gentiles, in whose sight I had brought them out. 23 Also I raised My hand in an oath to those in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the Gentiles and disperse them throughout the countries, 24 because they had not executed My judgments, but had despised My statutes, profaned My Sabbaths, and their eyes were fixed on their fathers idols. 25 Therefore I also gave them up to statutes that were not good, and judgments by which they could not live; 26 and I pronounced them unclean because of their ritual gifts, in that they caused all their firstborn to pass through the fire, that I might make them desolate and that they might know that I am the Lord.”

With the preceding verses, we can easily see that the mark of Yehovah is the keeping of his laws, Sabbaths and Holy Days. Take note it is “Sabbaths” – plural, not just one. When we keep them they become a sign on our Hand and a Sign between our Eyes, or in our mind, which is also on our heart. “The hand” signifies the way we live – our way of life, the way we work or conduct ourselves. “Between our eyes” signifies the way we think and how we will treat others. It is our heart, our innermost being, our thoughts.

Those who will not keep the laws and Sabbaths of Yehovah, have the mark of the beast as a sign on their hands and on their foreheads. It is rebelliousness or hardening of the heart.

Read this in the following verses.

Re 7:3 – saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”

Re 9:4 – They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

Re 13:16 – He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,

Re 14:1 – Then I looked, and behold, a* Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads.

Re 20:4 – And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
Re 22:4 – They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.

2 Thessalonians 2:1 – Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Notice here in Thessalonians that the mystery of lawlessness (not keeping Yehovah’s Laws) is at work. The lawless one is Satan performing signs and lying wonders, unrighteous deceptions on those who would not love the truth of Yehovah and keep his laws. On them Yehovah will send strong delusion that they should continue to believe a lie.

We spoke about this delusion last week. Those who believe in the Lunar Sabbath or those who say that Sunday is the Sabbath because they are East of Jerusalem. They get further and further from the truth

What Lie? Satan is the father of all lies.

John 8:44 -You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

If you are not keeping the commandments then you are a liar if you also say you obey Yehovah.

1John 2:4 – He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Now, what is the mark of the beast? I have clearly shown you using scriptures that the mark of Yehovah is the keeping of His weekly Sabbath and of keeping His annual Sabbaths at their correctly appointed times, and how it is on our HAND and BETWEEN OUR EYES or on our foreheads. So you pretty much know what I am going to say is the mark of the beast. But I needed to prove it to you without leaving any wiggle room to doubt what the mark of Yehovah is.

The mark of the beast are those who hold as truth the keeping of any and all days as holy which are not ordained by Yehovah and this includes Hanukah and Purim, Christmas and Easter.

First Satan causes the world to worship on the wrong day. Any day but the true day. With this he has fooled most of the world.

To those who actually read the bible, he fools them, by confusing which day is the true days of worship. He changes the calendar so that Yehovah’s children who do not check will also be mislead. This is done by worshiping on the wrong days.

Does this surprise you? It should not, as Daniel said it would happen in 7:25

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

The times are the calendar issues and the law is the Ten Commandments, and in particular the fourth one. Keep Holy The Sabbath Day. This commandment also is expanded in Leviticus 23, which tell us the annual Holy Days and Lev 25 about the Sabbatical and Jubilee years.

Until Satan is taken away, people are going to be deceived. Until the postponement rules of the Hebrew calendar are put away people are going to be deceived. Until the world starts to keep the true Holy Days they will willingly be deceived.

If you do not keep the Sabbath, if you do not keep the Holy Days at the appointed times by using the Barley to begin the year and the crescent moon to begin the month, or if you keep those holy days by postponing them, then you have the mark of the beast on your hand and between you eyes on your forehead.

Yes, Yehshua said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan” and Satan can also be in you if you are not obeying Yehovah.

If you keep the Sabbath and treat it as Holy Time and do no work on it, and keep it at the right time; if you keep the Day of Atonement on the day of Atonement and fast and do not eat, you will not be cut off from among your people as the scriptures say you will if you do not keep these days Holy.

If you say these things are not important and you continue to do as you have always done, then the truth is not in you and you do not know the Father and you are a liar after Satan.

Do you want to take that chance and be CUT OFF for not keeping the Day of Atonement on the correct day? Do you really want Yehovah to destroy you?

We have ample proof from Israel that the wheat is already being cut and it was not to be done until Shavuot. But if you are keeping the year beginning in March then the wheat being cut in May is right on time for Shavuot on May 15. The Feast of Trumpets is the next Holy Day. Then the Day of Atonement and then Sukkot, followed by the 8th Day. You are allowed to err and then repent from those mistake you have made.

The question is what will you do? To continue to be an ostrich only exposes your flank.
