Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,
There seems to be a lot of talk about the coming Solar Eclipse over the USA, and the prognosticators are in full gear, grinding out prophetic messages. We have to talk about that this week.
We just released a video this week promoting an upcoming conference in the Manila, Philippines, area. But when I went to advertise it, it was shut down. And I quote “This promotion violates policy and can’t run. To continue, fix the policy issues.” The policy I am violating is advertising about religious issues. I cannot advertise a conference in Manila through YouTube or Google Ads if there is anything about religion. And when I contact Google Ads about this my assigned representative leans in favour of LGBT rights.
So brethren I am again in need of your help. Will all of you copy and past the URL to your social media platform and share it?
The following verse keeps coming up in most of my work now. This weeks Newsletter is no exception.
Jhn 5:45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you, Moses, in whom you trust.
Jhn 5:46 For if you had believed Moses, you would have believed Me, for he wrote of Me.
Jhn 5:47 But if you do not believe his writings, how shall you believe My Words?
Study the Torah brethren. We have no time left to be wasted on rabbit holes.

Torah Portion
Torah Portions
We read through the entire Torah along with the Prophets and the New Testament, once over the course of 3 1/2 years. Or according to the Sabbatical Cycle which means we read it all twice over a 7-year period. This allows us to cover more in-depth rather than being rushed to cover as much as is covered on an annual basis. We allow all to comment and take part in the discussions.
Septennial Torah Portion
If you go to Torah Portion at our archived section, you can then go to the 7th year which is the 7th year of the Sabbatical Cycle, the one we are in now, as we state at the top of every News Letter. There you can scroll down to the proper date, and see that this Shabbat we could very well be midrashing about:
Deuteronomy 30
2 Chronicles 26-29
Revelation 13-14
As we approach the end of the year we are doubling up on our Torah Portions so that we can fit them all in before the year ends. We thought we had an Adar Bet and four more weeks. I am not sure we do so we are going to double up.
If you missed last week’s exciting discoveries as we studied that section, you can go and watch past Shabbats on our media section.
Join Our Sabbath Meetings
Join Our Sabbath Meetings
There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.
What are we doing and why do we teach this way?
We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.
The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.
Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.
Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.
Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.
We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.
We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.
Jas 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.
We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.
We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.
Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers songs and teaching from this hour.
Shabbat Services will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.
On the Holy Day, Shavuot, we will be having two meetings. One at 10 AM Eastern and the afternoon will be 2 PM Eastern. Look forward to seeing you all there.
We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.
Joseph Dumond is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

The Sabbatical Year Ends Aviv 1
The Sabbatical Year Ends Aviv 1
This means that once we know when the 1st day of the New Year is, you can begin planting. But because we do not know whether or not the barley will be ripe at any particular time, we must wait to discover if we have a 12th or 13th month this year. It does not matter whether you are in the southern or northern hemisphere. Aviv 1 is the same date around the world. Yehovah’s laws do not change and we all must be diligent in obeying them if we desire to break the curse that are now upon the world. Obey so you and your family can be free of the chains of sin and know His Freedom.
The Year goes from Aviv to Aviv.
Exo 12:2 This month shall be to you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year to you.
You are not to plant or harvest in this Sabbatical year from Aviv 1, 2023, to Aviv 1, 2024.
You are not to plant.
Lev 25:4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest to the land, a sabbath for Jehovah. You shall neither sow your field, nor prune your vineyard.
You are not to harvest.
Lev 25:5 You shall not reap that which grows of its own accord of your harvest, neither gather the grapes of your undressed vine. It is a year of rest to the land.
You are to stock up on food in the sixth year.
Lev 25:20 And if you shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? Behold, we shall not sow nor gather in our increase!
Lev 25:21 Then I will command My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.
Lev 25:22 And you shall sow the eighth year, and eat of old fruit until the ninth year; until its fruits come in, you shall eat the old fruit.
You are to read the Entire Torah on the 1st day of Sukkot in the Sabbatical Year.
Deu 31:9 And Moses wrote this Law and delivered it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who carried the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, and to all the elders of Israel.
Deu 31:10 And Moses commanded them, saying: At the end of seven years, at the set time of the year of release, in the Feast of Tabernacles,
Deu 31:11 when all Israel has come to appear before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose, you shall read this Law before all Israel in their hearing.
Deu 31:12 Gather the people, men and women and the little ones, and your stranger who is within your gates, so that they may hear and that they may learn and fear Jehovah your God, and be careful to do all the words of this Law,
Deu 31:13 and that their sons who have not known may hear and learn to fear Jehovah your God, as long as you live in the land where you go over Jordan to possess it.
You are to forgive debts in the Sabbatical Year.
Deu 15:1 At the end of every seven years you shall make a release.
Deu 15:2 And this is the manner of the release. Every man who has a loan to his neighbor shall release it. He shall not exact it from his neighbor, or from his brother, because it is called Jehovah’s release.

Reasonable people, usually old school liberals, still don’t understand the Left. And so they also don’t understand what happened to their movement, their party and their country.
-
A quarter century of smashing Starbucks windows clearly has nothing to do with Gaza.
-
They don’t care about black lives, the lives in Gaza or Iraq, or the lives of the poor: these are just the pretexts that provide them with moral superiority so they feel justified smashing things.
-
The pro-Hamas riots are a carbon copy of the BLM riots. Like the eco-terrorists, who have taken to vandalizing classical art in museums, their goal isn’t persuasion through awareness, it’s terrorism.
-
Individual causes, environmentalism, LGBTQ rights, Gaza, Iraq, income inequality, unions, Wall Street, abortion or criminals, are just gateway drugs to radicalize a base for the leftist revolution.
-
Blocking traffic or airports isn’t really about ending Israeli attacks on Hamas, but about inflicting misery on Americans and making the leftist perpetrators feel powerful and self-righteous by expressing their malice. Don’t think of these as protests; think of them as initiation sessions like those of gangs and cults in which new members prove themselves by hurting someone.
-
Blocking school buses, ambulances and people coming home from work, or shouting, “shame on you” at kids with cancer is just part of the radicalization process. Its purpose is to make the activists cause pain while being so emotionally detached from their victims that they not only feel nothing when inflicting pain, but that doing so makes them morally superior.
-
The process produces people capable of not only blocking traffic, but planting bombs.
-
Communist revolutionaries have exploited wars and food shortages to seize power, only to then inflict even worse wars and food shortages.
-
But following the Cloward-Piven model, leftists only make things worse. The purpose of leftist governments is to destroy countries by exacerbating every social, economic, geopolitical and cultural problem until they have brought societies to their knees and can seize total power.
-
Revolutions need causes, but the only real cause of a revolution is its own power. Or as George Orwell wrote in 1984, “One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship.”
-
DEI educational activists may not be as blatant about it as Hamas, but they share a similar goal of radicalizing a base until it is willing to commit any atrocity and still consider itself morally superior. The processes that produced men willing to rape and murder for Islam in Israel are also producing men and women in the West who are willing to cheer that and to wage war against their own societies in order to protect those rapists and murderers.
After Hamas supporters were caught screaming “shame on you” at children receiving cancer treatment at a Manhattan hospital (“make sure they hear you, they’re in the windows”) some people wondered what they were trying to accomplish.
Questions like that only reveal the vast gap between the pro-Hamas mob and everyone else.
The pro-Hamas protests, allegedly in pursuit of a ceasefire, but in reality celebrating Hamas and now Houthi terrorism, have picked random fights with Starbucks, Christmas tree lightings and Alec Baldwin, to name a few. They are not so much for anything as they are against things.
Reasonable people, usually old-school liberals, still don’t understand the Left. And so they also don’t understand what happened to their movement, their party and their country.
Normal people think that protests are about spreading awareness and winning over others, and they don’t grasp why the rioters are spewing hate at them instead of trying to win them over.
The mobs aren’t there to persuade them, but to express their hatred for them. The common denominator of all of these riots is a burning desire to destroy everything around them. They’re not shutting down airports or smashing store windows to bring attention to a cause.
Smashing windows and shutting down airports is their cause.
Before Hamas, they were smashing windows for abortion, BLM and Occupy Wall Street, and against the Iraq War and to protest the World Trade Organization. Some of the same men in black who are smashing Starbucks windows now for Gaza were smashing them back in Seattle in the WTO protests of 1999. Before too long, they’ll need to retire and collect Social Security.
A quarter-century of smashing Starbucks windows clearly has nothing to do with Gaza.
They don’t care about black lives, the lives in Gaza or Iraq, or the lives of the poor; these are just the pretexts that provide them with moral superiority so they feel justified smashing things.
The pro-Hamas riots are a carbon copy of the BLM riots. Like the eco-terrorists, who have taken to vandalizing classical art in museums, their goal isn’t persuasion through awareness; it’s terrorism. They block traffic, airport holiday travel and holiday events for whatever cause happens to be trending at any given time. Few of these leftists have any real sense of what Hamas is, and fewer still know who the Houthis are, but they’ll still scream about an “Intifada.”
What they actually want has less to do with Gaza than with right here at home.
“When we finally deal that final blow to destroy Israel. When the state of Israel is finally destroyed and erased from history, that will be the single most important blow we can give to destroying capitalism,” promised Manolo De Los Santos of The People’s Forum, which receives funds out of Communist China and has been linked to many of the pro-Hamas protests.
As David Horowitz frequently reminded us, sixties radicals preached that, “the issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.”
Individual causes, environmentalism, LGBTQ rights, Gaza, Iraq, income inequality, unions, Wall Street, abortion or criminals, are just gateway drugs to radicalize a base for the leftist revolution.
Protests aren’t really “protests” in the sense that liberals think of them as being vehicles to rally for change. They’re the equivalent of Al Qaeda terrorist attacks whose goal is to recruit, radicalize and empower the stormtroopers who are going to wage war against the world.
Protest-theater rewards leftist activists by making them into the focus of attention. Cameras are on them as they berate anyone in sight, from kids with cancer to Alec Baldwin, for their lack of empathy, and then, justified by the conviction that everyone else is bad, they make them suffer.
The process produces people capable of not only blocking traffic, but planting bombs.
That is exactly how this worked in the sixties. Protest rallies were deliberately turned into violent confrontations with police and National Guardsmen to radicalize a generation of leftist students. Only a small number of those actually formed organizations like the Weathermen, but millions more romanticized them and defended their cause. When the terrorists went into academia, entertainment and politics, those supporters swiftly put them into positions of power.
The same cycle has been repeating itself since the relaunch of the anti-war movement after 9/11. Those protests were followed by wholly manufactured causes like Occupy Wall Street and BLM that existed purely to radicalize and recruit a generation to fight a war against America.
The pro-Hamas protests are the work of most of the same coalition and the same mission.
There are some members of the coalition, especially Islamists, who are deeply invested in the idea of a Hamas victory and the destruction of Israel, but most, like The People’s Forum, see destroying Israel as part of the larger leftist mission of destroying America and the West.
The pretext for the destruction matters much less than the overriding revolutionary goal.
Communist revolutionaries have exploited wars and food shortages to seize power, only to then inflict even worse wars and food shortages. Obama promised peace in the Middle East, an end to income inequality and the salvation of the planet. And all of these things only grew worse.
But following the Cloward-Piven model, leftists only make things worse. The purpose of leftist governments is to destroy countries by exacerbating every social, economic, geopolitical and cultural problem until they have brought societies to their knees and can seize total power.
Leftist protests, like the terrorists they support, are also not about fixing anything, but staging ugly hostile confrontations with police and the public to recruit the malicious and the disaffected (while playing the victim) and then escalating the violence and using it to take over a country.
It works. Consider who was in the White House before the BLM riots and who’s there now.
Revolutions need causes, but the only real cause of a revolution is its own power. Or as George Orwell wrote in 1984, “One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship.”
A revolution requires people willing to kill. And so they need to be given reasons to kill. The “cause” is the process of finding those willing to kill and giving them the reasons to do it.
The same processes of training and recruitment that climaxed in the October 7 attacks in Israel are underway in this country.
The domestic terrorists of tomorrow are blocking traffic in the streets of our cities today.

Deleavening Your Home
Here is a reminder from Chabad.org about how to go about cleaning your house of leaven.
Cleaning the House
Simply stated (though not so easily done) — give your home a thorough, top-to-bottom, cleaning. Vacuum the carpets and floors, wipe clean the cupboards and bookshelves. Make sure you get into all those hard-to-reach places: under the sofa cushions, the spaces between the floorboards. Move aside furniture and kitchen appliances to get behind and underneath. Bottom line: if that proverbial cookie crumb could be hiding there, go after it!
As each area of the home gets cleaned, make sure that everyone knows that it’s “kosher for Passover” and absolutely off-limits for any food to be brought in there. Practical advice: start with the bedrooms, then proceed with the living room and other common rooms, leaving the dining room and kitchen for last, so that you can use these spaces for eating chametz as close as possible to the “deadline.”
Other places that need to be cleaned: office, car, pocketbook — any space that is yours by ownership, lease, or right of use.
Places you don’t have to clean: a) Rooms and areas where you’re absolutely certain that no food was ever brought. b) Rooms and areas that will be sold (see step 5).
Cleaning Checklist
The following is a checklist of all areas that should be searched well and thoroughly cleaned from all traces of chametz.

Deleavening Your Home
It is now just past the full moon. In two months time we will begin to celebrate Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread. We read in Mt 24:45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
So with the Passover season approaching and with many new people learning the Torah and wanting to keep the Holy Days we shall begin now to teach on these.
Once again I am telling you to turn off Oprah and Dr. Phil and to start to read you bible. There is nothing on TV worth watching. Many of you are sharing this News letter and encouraging others to read it and to prove those things said here true or false. I do thank you. But in reality it is those who have come here and learnt the truth that are thanking you. You have saved their lives.
But once you have been turned on to the truth, do not just read what is written here. Search other sites and other groups and learn also from them, what is true and what is not true.
I keep telling you how little time is left and so I am trying to give you as much information as I can without you being over whelmed. Turn off the TV and this will help.
We now have just two months to Passover.
Immediately after the Passover comes a festival that shows us the next step in the plan of Yahweh. After Yahshua is sacrificed as the Passover Lamb, and we have been forgiven for our sins, how do we continue to avoid sin, since we must go on living in newness of life? How do we live as Yahweh’s redeemed people? We find the remarkable answer in the symbolism of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
When Yahweh freed Israel from slavery in Egypt, He told His people that for “seven days you shall eat unleavened bread” (Exodus 12:15). Verse 39 further explains: “And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they had brought out of Egypt; for it was not leavened, because they were driven out of Egypt and could not wait, nor had they prepared provisions for themselves.”
The leavening process, which makes bread rise, takes time. The Israelites had no time to spare when they left Egypt, so they baked and ate flat bread. What started out as a necessity continued for a week. Yahweh appropriately named this time the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Leviticus 23:6), or Days of Unleavened Bread (Acts 12:3).
When Yeshua came to earth as a human, He observed this seven-day festival’ sometimes called the Feast of Passover by the Jews because of the proximity of the Passover to the Days of Unleavened Bread. Yeshua kept it as a child and later as an adult (Luke 2:41; Matthew 26:17). The early Church, kept it as well.
Yahweh gave His earliest instructions concerning this festival to the Israelites as they prepared to leave Egypt. “This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD’ a lasting ordinance. For seven days you are to eat bread made without yeast. On the first day remove the yeast from your houses, for whoever eats anything with yeast in it from the first day through the seventh must be cut off from Israel. On the first day hold a sacred assembly, and another one on the seventh day. Do no work at all on these days, except to prepare food for everyone to eat-that is all you may do” (Exodus 12:14-16, New International Version).
This is where we get the expression of spring cleaning from De leavening our homes.
Each year as the Israelites observed this feast, it reminded them of Yahweh’s deliverance of their forefathers from Egypt. The Creator instructed, “Celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread, because it was on this very day that I brought your divisions out of Egypt” (verse 17, NIV). The exodus from Egypt remains as a foundational reason for observing this feast today. Just as Yahweh delivered ancient Israel, He delivers us from our sins and difficulties.
Now notice Yeshua’s teaching about leaven, which expands the meaning of this feast.
During Yahshua’s ministry He performed two miracles in which a few fish and loaves of bread fed thousands of people. After one of these incidents, when His disciples had gone around the Sea of Galilee, they forgot to bring bread with them. So Yeshua told them, “Watch out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
The disciples thought Yeshua was referring to their lack of bread. However, He was using the occasion to teach them by calling on the symbolism of leaven. Yeshua asked them, “How is it that you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Then the disciples “understood that He did not say to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees” (Matthew 16:5-12, NASB).
Some of the members of the religious establishment of Yeshua’s day appeared to be righteous, yet they secretly practiced sinful behavior. Yeshua let them know He knew their hearts. They may have appeared righteous to other people, “but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness” (Matthew 23:28).
The Days of Unleavened Bread remind us that with Yahweh’s help we must remove and avoid all types of sin “symbolized by leaven” in all areas of our life.
Symbolically we do this by cleaning our homes and our places of business and our cars and removing any bread or bread products that contain leaven or yeast from them.
During the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the apostle Paul taught the same spiritual lessons as Yeshua, invoking the comparison of sin to leaven. In the context of reprimanding the Corinthian congregation for its divisions, jealousies and tolerance of sexual misconduct, Paul wrote: “Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Yeshua, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” (1 Corinthians 5:6-8).
The church at Corinth was obviously and unmistakably keeping the Feast of Unleavened Bread, to which Paul repeatedly alluded. However, Paul used the Corinthians’ faithful obedience in keeping the feast physically (removing leaven from their homes) as a basis to encourage them to celebrate this feast with proper understanding of its spiritual intent.
Today removing leaven from our homes for seven days reminds us that we, too, through prayer and Yahweh’s help and understanding, must recognize, expel and avoid sin. The Feast of Unleavened Bread is thus a time of personal reflection. We should meditate on our attitudes and conduct and ask Yahweh to help us recognize and overcome our shortcomings.
Paul spoke of this much-needed self-reflection in 2 Corinthians 13:5 when he told the Corinthian church: “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Yeshua the Messiah is in you, unless indeed you are disqualified.”
Paul explained the significance of the phrase “Yeshua the Messiah is in you” in Galatians 2:20: “I have been crucified with Yeshua; it is no longer I who live, but Yeshua lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of Yahweh, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
These seven days of self-examination prove invaluable in helping us to devote our lives to Yahweh and Yeshua. This week-long period also pictures our eventual triumph over sin. As Yahweh delivered the ancient Israelites from enslavement to Egypt, so He delivers us from our enslavement to sin (Romans 6:12-18).
We learn by doing. We learn spiritual lessons by doing physical things. Performing the task of deleavening our homes reminds us to vigilantly watch for sinful thoughts and actions so we can avoid them. Yahweh knows that, in spite of our good intentions, we all sin.
Many years after his conversion, Paul described the powerful human tendency to sin. “I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of Yahweh according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank Yahweh-through Yeshua the Messiah! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of Yahweh, but with the flesh the law of sin” (Romans 7:21-25).
Paul knew life itself is a battle with sin. The Bible speaks of “the sin which so easily ensnares us” (Hebrews 12:1). We have our own part to play in struggling to overcome sin. Yet, paradoxically, we must rely on Yahweh to help us. Paul explained this to the Philippians by telling them to “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is Yahweh who works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:12-13, King James Version).
Our observance of the Days of Unleavened Bread helps us realize our need for Yeshua’s help in overcoming our weaknesses. Yet this feast is certainly a time for rejoicing because Yeshua freely gives us the help we need. Yeshua, the Lamb of Yahweh, was sacrificed for the forgiveness of our sins, thus unleavening, or cleansing, our lives. He continues to help us live obediently through Yahweh’s Spirit dwelling in us.
Paul tells us in Ro 2:13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified;
James tells us it is the doers of the law who will be justified. Jas 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
Let’s read what James also has to say about doing things.
James 2:14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your F6 works, and I will show you my faith by my F7 works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe–and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? F8 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” F9 And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Some brethren do not believe we should keep the days of Unleaveded bread. Some do but they say you do not have to remove the leaven from your homes.
The bible says we do have to keep this time for ever, and that you do have to remove the leaven, and that by doing so you are acting out your faith by your works.
I am sharing this message now with you, so that you have time to begin to clean one room or two a week before the Days arrive in about two months time. You will see as you move your frig and stove how the crud has piled up over time and how hard it is to remove. This is the same as sin sneaking in to your lives and you not knowing it until one day it is exposed. Then you see how hard it is to remove or correct that sin. It is not easy.
You will learn by doing. Please consider doing the necessary work in cleaning your home so that you will be ready for the Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread.
Always remember that as you move closer to Yahweh, He moves closer to you. When you stop so does He and he waits for you to make the next move.
The more you learn and practice the more that will be revealed to you. But if you do nothing you learn nothing.
So may your spring cleaning be bountiful in teaching you many lessons from the scriptures.
The Day After The Aleph Tav Eclipse
The Day After The Aleph Tav Eclipse
There is a great deal being discussed about the Aleph-Tav Eclipse that is going across the USA for the third time since August 21, 2017. Let me show them to you. Here is the 1st one on August 21, 2017.
This is the second that crossed the USA on October 14, 2023, this past fall. You will notice how both of them exit just south of Portland, Oregon, 7 years apart.
Then the third and final one in this series takes place on April 8, 2024.
Each Solare Eclipse is an astronomical event worth watching and seeing exactly what happens when you are in the center of the path as it goes by. It is my desire to travel 2 1/2 hours from my home to experience this event.
On August 21, 2017, a total solar eclipse was visible in a narrow track spanning the United States. This was the first total solar eclipse visible from anywhere in mainland United States since the total solar eclipse in February 1979. The next total eclipse in the US is in April 2024.
On average, it takes about 375 years for a total solar eclipse to happen again at the same location.
Most years have four eclipses: the minimum number of eclipses in a year; 2 of these four eclipses are always solar eclipses. While rare, the maximum number of eclipses that can take place in a calendar year is seven.
There are two or three eclipses during every eclipse season. At least one of these is always a solar eclipse, sometimes two. The same is true for lunar eclipses.
What people are now doing is overlaying these three solar Eclipses, claiming they form the Hebrew Letters Aleph and Tav. See below. The Aleph…
The Tav.
To add to the excitement, we have stated that there are now four times Israel locked down, causing the daily to cease, the daily prayers, the bullocks of our lips.
The first was on March 25, 2020, and 1290 days later, was October 6, 2023. Then, on October 7, we saw the slaughter that took place.
The second one was September 18, 2020, giving us a 1290 date of March 31, 2024, Easter Sunday this year.
The third lockdown date was September 25, 2020, giving us a 1290 date of April 8, 2024, the same time as the third solar eclipse.
The fourth one I just discovered was December 27, 2020, and 1290 days later is July 5, 2024. This is just days before the 9th of Av this year.
Yehshua said to flee when you see the abomination spoken of in Daniel. We most certainly saw that on October 7, with the crowd dancing around the inflated Buddha statue over the DJ’s tent at the Rave.
So, what are we to make of the three solar eclipses that have taken place since 2017 and, when overlaid, form the Hebrew letters Aleph and Tav? NASA says this same event takes place on average once every 375 years. If I look back 375 years from 2024 to 1649 and then 1648 and 1642, to when these same solar eclipses took place, I can not find anything telling me how excited the native Indians in the New World were about seeing the Hebrew letters Aleph and Tav across the earth. I do not have any historical events to give me any idea as to what they mean.
What do you have if we combine these events with the Bible Codes information?
When Yehovah comes and He is now judging the world, He is not going to ask you how much you know about the Solar Eclipses. He is not going to say to you, did you not see my Aleph Tav sign? He will not ask you to explain the dangers of the vaccines or the dangers of eating meat. No, Yehovah is not going to judge you on how much you know about HAARP or the Nephilim or the Illuminati. Yet these are the things modern-day Israel wants to spend all its time investigating. The same descendants of Israel that went a whoring after other gods and ended up worshiping two golden calves and then being kicked out of the land and divorced from Yehovah for 2747 years now. These same modern-day Israelite descendants presume to know more about the Torah than our Jewish brothers, who have been studying it and dying because of it during those same 2747 years when we did not keep the Sabbath or the Holy Days.
I have had Mark Webb and Cyrus Harding on my videos explaining the apogee of the moon and various signs in the heavens. Yehovah gave His message in the constellation, and it is good to consider them. Cyrus’s crazy cycles are also proving true, and both men are interesting. But….
When Yehovah comes and the 10 virgins wake up spoken of in Matthew 25, He tells the 5 foolish something we all must take careful consideration of. Read it for yourselves:
Mat 25:12 But he answered and said, Truly I say to you, I do not know you.
He also gave you another example in Mattew about NEVER KNOWING YOU. He is saying this to those who think they are doing His will now. He is going to say this to some of you unless you repent now.
Mat 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then I will say to them I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness!
Some people are deep into setting people free from demonic influences. Some are big into all kinds of prophetic utterances. Many of you point to other groups and claim that He is talking about them or the Church of Laodicea, but you never consider that He could be speaking about you.
Why does Yehshua say He never knew them? NEVER! Why did Israel not know Yehovah and end up getting kicked out of the land? Judah was never divorced, and Judah knows Yehovah. They are not perfect but they are studying. Can you say the same thing?
Everyone goes around saying they know Jesus or they know Yehshua, but the question no one is asking is, Does Yehovah know you? Can you look yourself in the mirror right now and say Yehovah knows you? If you said yes, you can, then what scriptures prove that He knows you? Opinions will be and are not worth the breath it takes to give them. Just quote the scriptures that prove Yehovah knows you.
Brethren, I am not against learning about the solar system or medicine or other subjects. No, I am dead set against those who spend all their time talking about that subject and never mention or talk about Yehovah. They do this because it is their escape mechanism. In order to avoid showing just how ignorant they are about Yehovah, they sound off on things no one else cares about, like the flat earth and the Illuminati or other nonsense conspiratorial subjects. They can quote you endless dribble about the Nephilim and how they are mating with our women and taking them away in UFOs from Area 51. They know so much about all these things, but do they know Yehovah? Do they even understand Yehovah died on the Tree for them?
Even the writer of Hebrew is disappointed that so many are not ready to teach and need to be taught just the basics before they can start to learn about the Author of our Salvation.
Heb 5:9 And being perfected, He became the Author of eternal salvation to all those who obey Him,
Heb 5:10 being called by God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek;
Heb 5:11 of whom we have much to say, and hard to be explained since you are dull of hearing.
Heb 5:12 For indeed because of the time, you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again what are the first principles of the oracles of God. And you have become in need of milk, and not of solid food.
Heb 5:13 For everyone partaking of milk is unskillful in the Word of Righteousness, for he is an infant.
Heb 5:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, even those who because of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Do You Know Yehovah? That is the most important question! Do you know Him?
Being an expert in Bible Codes does not show you know Him. Being an expert in the constellations does not show you know Him.
Do you know Yehovah?
1Jn 2:3 And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commandments.
1Jn 2:4 He who says, I have known Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1Jn 2:5 But whoever keeps His Word, truly in this one the love of God is perfected. By this we know that we are in Him.
1Jn 2:6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk even as He walked.
Many “brethren” have gotten very mad at me when I speak about these things and point out their failures. I do not do this because of vanity or pride, as some accuse me of.
1Jn 3:13 Do not marvel, my brothers, if the world hates you.
1Jn 3:14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love his brother abides in death.
1Jn 3:15 Everyone hating his brother is a murderer. And you know that no murderer has everlasting life abiding in him.
1Jn 3:16 By this we have known the love of God, because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
1Jn 3:17 But whoever has this world’s goods and sees his brother having need, and shuts up his bowels from him, how does the love of God dwell in him?
1Jn 3:18 My children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
1Jn 3:19 And in this we shall know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him,
1Jn 3:20 that if our heart accuses us, God is greater than our heart and knows all things.
1Jn 3:21 Beloved, if our heart does not accuse us, we have confidence toward God.
1Jn 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
1Jn 4:12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and His love is perfected in us.
1Jn 4:13 By this we know that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
1Jn 5:13 I have written these things to you who believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have everlasting life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God.
1Jn 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
1Jn 5:15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.
1Jn 5:16 If anyone sees his brother sin a sin not to death, he shall ask, and He shall give him life for those that do not sin to death. There is a sin to death, I do not say that he shall pray for it.
1Jn 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not to death.
1Jn 5:18 We know that everyone who has been born of God does not continue to sin, but the one born of God guards himself, and the evil one does not touch him.
1Jn 5:19 We know that we are of God, and all the world lies in evil.
1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given us an understanding so that we may know Him who is true. And we are in Him that is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and the everlasting life.
1Jn 5:21 Little children, guard yourselves from idols. Amen.
Listen carefully to what John says here next. He is talking about your eternal life. In order to have eternal life, you must know Yehovah.
Jhn 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
1Jn 5:1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. And everyone who loves Him who begets also loves him who has been born of Him.
1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, whenever we love God and keep His commandments.
1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments, and His commandments are not burdensome.
1Jn 5:4 For everything that has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith.
1Jn 5:5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
Psa 119:1 ALEPH: Blessed are the upright in the way, who walk in the Law of Jehovah.
Psa 119:2 Blessed are they who keep His testimonies, and who seek Him with all the heart.
Psa 119:3 They also do no iniquity; they walk in His ways.
Psa 119:4 You have commanded us to keep Your Commandments carefully.
Psa 119:5 O that my ways were fixed to keep Your Precepts!
Psa 119:6 Then I shall not be ashamed, when I have respect to all Your Commandments.
Psa 119:7 I will praise You with uprightness of heart when I have learned Your righteous judgments.
Psa 119:8 I will keep Your Precepts; do not forsake me completely.
Psa 119:29 Remove from me the way of lying; and grant me Your Law graciously.
Psa 119:30 I have chosen the way of truth; I have laid Your judgments before me.
Psa 119:31 I have stuck to Your testimonies; O Jehovah, do not put me to shame.
Psa 119:32 I will run the way of Your Commandments, when You shall enlarge my heart.
Psa 119:33 HE: O Jehovah, teach me the way of Your Precepts, and I shall keep it to the end.
Psa 119:34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your Law; yea, I shall observe it with all my heart.
Psa 119:35 Cause me to walk in the path of Your Commandments; for I delight in them.
Jhn 14:15 If you love Me, keep My commandments.
Jhn 14:20 At that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
Jhn 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.
Jhn 14:22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, Lord, how is it that You will reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?
Jhn 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves Me, he will keep My Word. And My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.
Jhn 14:24 He who does not love Me does not keep My Words, and the Word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.
Jhn 15:9 As the Father has loved Me, so I have loved you; continue in My love.
Jhn 15:10 If you keep My commandments, you shall abide in My love, even as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
Jhn 15:11 I have spoken these things to you so that My joy might remain in you and your joy might be full.
Jhn 15:12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
Jhn 15:13 No one has greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Jhn 15:14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
Jhn 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master does. But I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they who do His commandments, that their authority will be over the Tree of Life, and they may enter in by the gates into the city.
Rev 22:15 But outside are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and makes a lie.
What are you doing to prepare the world for the Kingdom of Yehovah?
Jas 2:20 But will you know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Jas 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
Jas 2:22 Do you see how faith worked with his works, and from the works faith was made complete?
Jas 2:23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was imputed to him for righteousness, and he was called the friend of God.”
Jas 2:24 You see then how a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
Jas 2:25 And in the same way, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she had received the messengers and had sent them out another way?
Jas 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Why was Abraham a friend of Yehovah? Because of His faith or because of his works? Was it not both?
Isa 41:8 But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham, My friend;
Isa 41:9 whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called you from its sides. And I said to you, You areMy servant; I have chosen you, and not cast you away.
Moses was also said to be a friend of Yehovah. Can we say that about you?
Exo 33:10 And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door. And all the people rose up and worshiped, each man in his tent door.
Exo 33:11 And Jehovah would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he turned again to the camp. But his servant, Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not leave the middle of the tabernacle.
Let me quote it again.
Jhn 15:14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
Jhn 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master does. But I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.
Again, I ask, does Yehovah know you? Are you considered His friend? Can you explain why we search for the barley and how they used to do so before the temple was destroyed? Can you explain the history of the Hillel Calendar and what it’s errors are according to the Julian calendar? Can you teach the Sabbatical and Jubilee years, proving them to others and explaining why we need to keep them outside the land? Are you able to show how the Jubilee Cycles reveal prophecy? Can you explain the deep meaning of each and every Holy Day and how they are all connected to the Jubilee year and then again to the 8th Millennium? Can you explain the love of Yehovah and show other how you are walking that love out each day, so we can see it and not have to be told by words?
You are called to be Priests in the Kingdom of Yehovah. If you cant teach the basics of those questions I have asked, then how would you be qualified to be a priest? If you do not know the law then how will you judge angels?
If you do not know the commandments, then maybe, just maybe, Yehovah, the Word who became flesh and dwelt amongst us might say He does not know you.
Jhn 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with (Yehovah) God, and the Word was (Yehovah) God.
If you can’t find the time to study Yehovah, the Word, which is found in the first 5 books of the Bible that is covered in dust on your bookshelf or is buried under the other books about the Nephilim and UFOs…
The day after April 8, 2024, and the Solare Ecplise passes, then what? Do we wait until the next one in 375 years and see what happens then?
If you continue to chase every rabbit and go down every hole, and you never spend any time studying His Torah, then absolutely for sure, you will hear those dreaded words, I never knew you!
Adar Bet Do We or Don’t We
This is a repeat article about adding a 13th month. We go through this decision process every so often and this is a good article for those who are new and a review for those who are old. LOL. It helps to understand how the calendar works.
As of this Newsletter, Feb 3, 2024, we have the barley just coming out of the boot or heading, as the Zadok chart below shows us. With the new moon coming up on February 11-12, this still means we have, as of right now, 28 days until a potential Wave Sheaf Day on March 3, 2024. With the barley now heading, we add these 28 days to 51-59 in the grain charts below and they add up to 79-87. This is the dough stage of the barley.
If we wait until next month by adding an Adar Bet, then March 31 is Wave Sheaf Day and that is 57 days from this Shabbat. Adding 57 more days to the 51-59 heading stage on the Zadok charts gives a total of 108-117 days for the Barley. That is about 17 or 18 days past the ripening stage.
So, if we wait, it will no longer be the month of “Green Ears” but the month of brown ears or shattering barley.
I am not telling you when to keep Passover, but just laying out all those things I am wrestling with to determine when to keep Passover.
Last year, we were right on time, and we had peaceful and joyful Holy Days for all three seasons. We were blessed. On the other hand, those who kept them a month later were caught in a war with Hamas and Hezbollah, sending thousands of rockets into Israel from both directions. It was chaotic. Just as on October 7, those on the Hillel calendar were met with rocket fire, and this was 1290 days after Netanyahu declared a state of lockdown on Israel in 2020; he did so again on Sept 18 and Sept 25 as well as Dec 27, 2020. Those days, if they are part of the Abominations 1290 day counts, end up being March 31, 2024, April 8, and July 5, 2024.
After all of this is done, you are to judge angels. Now, are you ready to decide when to keep the Holy Days? You now have all the information I have. What are you going to do this year in 2024?
Adar Bet Do We or Don’t We
Published Fed 10, 2020
Last year, there was another huge controversy about whether the Barley was to be Aviv at the beginning of the first month or by the wave sheaf day. Many of our friends chose to have the barley reading by the end of the 12th month.
Then there are those of us who chose the latter. That is the Barley has to be ripe by Wave Sheaf Day. I believe that the only reason we look for the barley to be Aviv is so that we can make the wave sheaf offering. Last year, we had many reports that the barley was indeed ripe on wave sheaf day last year. This caused a split amongst those of us who go by the crescent moon to begin the month, and it grieves all of us when this happens.
We have now begun the 12th month. Will the Barley be Aviv in 6 weeks time from now? I have not heard any reports from the land at this time, so I do not know for sure.
I am confident that we will add a 13th month this year.
You will hear people talking about the Barley being in various stages. Look at the chart below. If the barley is in the clear liquid to the doughy stage, then you know that in about 21 days’ time, the barley will be ripe enough to be roasted or caramelized.
Lev 2:1 And when anyone will offer a food offering to Jehovah, his offering shall be of fine flour. And he shall pour oil on it and put frankincense on it.
Lev 2:2 And he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons, the priests. And he shall take out of it his handful of flour and its oil, with all its frankincense. And the priest shall burn the memorial of it on the altar, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Jehovah.
Lev 2:3 And the rest of the food offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’, most holy of the offerings of Jehovah made by fire.
Lev 2:4 And if you bring a sacrifice of a food offering baked in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
Lev 2:5 And if your offering is a food offering on the griddle, your offering shall be of fine flour unleavened, mixed with oil.
Lev 2:6 You shall break it in pieces and pour oil on it. It is a food offering.
Lev 2:7 And if your offering is a food offering in the frying pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
Lev 2:8 And you shall bring the food offering that is made of these things to Jehovah. And when it is presented to the priest, he shall bring it to the altar.
Lev 2:9 And the priest shall take from the food offering a memorial of it, and shall burn it on the altar. It is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Jehovah.
Lev 2:10 And that which is left of the food offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons: it is most holy of the offerings of Jehovah made by fire.
Lev 2:11 Any food offering which you shall bring to Jehovah shall not be made with leaven. For you shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of Jehovah made by fire.
Lev 2:12 As an offering of the firstfruits, you shall bring them to Jehovah. But they shall not be burned on the altar for a sweet savor.
Lev 2:13 And every sacrifice of your food offering shall you season with salt. And you shall not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your food offering. You shall offer salt with all your offerings.
Lev 2:14 And if you bring a food offering of your firstfruits to Jehovah, green ears roasted by fire, grains of a garden, you shall bring near for a food offering your firstfruits,
Lev 2:15 And you shall put oil on it and lay frankincense on it. It is a food offering.
Lev 2:16 And the priest shall burn it as incense with its memorial offering from its grains and from its oil, besides all its frankincense, a fire offering to Jehovah.
(Note what stage the barley is when you are told that it is in the boot. See the chart above.)
Take note of the condition of the food offering. It has to be made into fine flour. Or it can be roasted by fire. IF you harvest the barley when it is in the milk stage, then when you roast it to get the water out, there is no grain from which you can make flour. If it is in the dough stage, you can then roast it and carmelize it to make that your offering or have it become dry enough to make it into fine flour for an unleavened cake offering.
Whether or not the Barley is ripe at the end of the 12th month does not matter. You are not preparing the offering at the end of the 12th month. You prepare it after the Sabbath, after the sun has set on Wave Sheaf Day in the night. Depending on when Wave Sheaf Day falls, you have between 14 days and 21 days for the barley to grow and mature from the end of the 12th month.
If the barley is not ripe enough by Wave Sheaf Day, then an Adar bet is declared. That is, a second month of Adar, or a 13th month so that the barley has 30 more days to develop.
The History of the 19-year Metonic Cycle
The History of the 19-year Metonic Cycle
With Adar Bet being added this year, many are again saying they cannot find it in the Bible, so they are not going to keep one. Adar Bet means the 13th month or the 2nd Adar. You have Adar 1 and Adar 2 or Adar again is another way of looking at it.
Where do we get this notion from? Well, we are about to explain where your bible shows you there is a 13th month. Before I do, I want to expose the Hypocrites who say they will not keep it because they cannot find it in the bible.
Some people, many people, speak before they ever turn their brains on. Just stop and think for just a second. If you do not add a 13th month every so often, then you would be keeping Passover in various months each year—the same for Sukkot and all the Feasts. You may not believe me, but look at Ramadan. The Muslim calendar does not have an extra month added to it periodically, and because of that, Ramadan moves from year to year.
Every year, the world’s 1.7 billion Muslims—roughly a quarter of the global population—celebrate the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, a time for fasting and extra piety to cleanse the soul and come closer to God. Ramadan is a major global event, but just when, exactly, it begins is a matter of some debate.
The month-long holiday is observed principally in Muslim-majority countries in Africa and Asia but also by the believers around the world, including the roughly 3.3 million Muslims living in the U.S. During Ramadan, from sunrise to sunset, observant Muslims (with some exceptions, mostly health related) are forbidden to eat or drink (or smoke, or engage in sexual activity) to purify their thoughts and increase their devotion to God. One of the five pillars of Islam, Ramadan is the month during which Allah is said to have revealed the first verses of the Koran, the Islamic holy book, to the Prophet Muhammad. At sunset each day, the faithful are permitted to break their fast with a meal called iftar, thus ending what can be a grueling stretch of hours without food and water—especially when Ramadan falls during the long days of summer, as it does some years.
Ramadan comes at a different time every year because it is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, a date-keeping system based on lunar cycles, unlike the Gregorian calendar (the one used by most of the world, including the U.S.), which is based on the solar year. A new month begins with the appearance of the new moon, or the crescent moon, and ends with the next appearance of a new moon.
The month of Ramadan thus moves backwards about 10 days every year relative to the Gregorian calendar.
Abraham was the Father of Ismael and Isaac. Isaac was the Father of Esau as well as Jacob. They would have been taught about sighting the Crescent moon to begin the month. And down through the ages, this way of beginning the month has continued on both sides of Abraham’s family.
It was Jacob’s Descendants who were told that when the Barley was Aviv they were to begin the year.
Exo 12:2 This month shall be to you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth of this month they shall take to them each man a lamb for a father’s house, a lamb for a house.
This is the month of Passover when the Barley was ripening. This month, I believe, the barley will not be ripe enough to make a wave offering so we will add a 13th month. Some did this last year.
When you count the days in those 12 months, the descendants of Ishmael and Esau, as well as Jacob, have 354 days per year. As it says above, this sets them back 11 days. That is why Ramadan is never at the same time each year.
With the solar year being 365 days and the Lunar year being 354, there is an 11-day difference each year. After about 3 years, an extra 29-day month is added. This makes up for those three times when you missed 11 days.
Now, fast forward to the time after the temple is destroyed. The remaining Jews are now being hounded and persecuted for searching for barley, sighting the moon and setting signal fires to let those in the diaspora know when the Holy Days would be. It was during this time that Hillel formed the calculated calendar. However, it was not uniformly used until Rambam instituted it at the end of the 12th century. Not everyone did the same thing for 900 years until Rambam instituted it for all Jews everywhere.
Please read this and get some history on this subject before we go on.
Hillel II (Hillel the Nasi), also known simply as Hillel held the office of Nasi of the ancient Jewish Sanhedrin between 320 and 385 CE. He was the son and successor of Judah III. He was a Jewish communal and religious authority, circa 330 – 365 CE. He is sometimes confused with Hillel the Elder, as the Talmud sometimes simply uses the name “Hillel”.
In two instances his name is quoted in connection with important decisions in Jewish law: in one, Jose ben Abin expounds to him a law; in the other, Hillel cites a mishnah to establish a law (Yer. Ber. ii. 5a; Yer. Ter. i. 41a).
He is traditionally regarded as the creator of the modern fixed Hebrew calendar. It first appears in a responsum of R. Hai Gaon (early eleventh century) cited by R. Abraham bar Hiyya in his Sefer Ha’ibbur, written in 1123. The topic of that responsum is the 19-year cycle for leap-year intercalations, so the most that can be inferred from that attribution is that Hillel was responsible for the adoption of that cycle for the regulation of the distribution of leap-years.
Actually there is in fact much more that can be inferred from this citation. The citation explicitly refers to the year that this event happened, 670 of the Seleucid era, which corresponds to 358/9 CE. The Molad of Tishrei for that year 4119 would be Sat 23 hours and 233 parts. Under the Gregorian calendar this would be Sat, Sept 20, 0358 17:12. Rosh Hashanah would have begun Friday evening but not before, according to lunar science, a very bright Old Moon will rise Friday morning at 4:11 AM, an hour and 34 minutes before sunrise. The significance of this can be found in the Talmud Rosh Hashanah 25a.
Scholars who have studied the history of the Hebrew calendar are in general agreement (and there is much evidence for this in the Talmud itself and in other rabbinic sources) that in practice, the evolution of the calendar into its present form was a gradual process spanning several centuries from the first to about the eighth or ninth century CE. The champion of the view that the calendar was developed in the eighth or ninth century CE is Sacha Stern. This quote is from page 184-5 of his book Calendar and Community.
“Of far greater importance, however, is a much later document from the Cairo Geniza: a letter of a Babylonian exilarch – one of the main leaders of the Rabbanite community – with detailed calendrical instructions for the year 835/6 CE. The letter reveals that Passover (15 Nisan) in that year was due to occur on a Tuesday; whilst according to the present-day rabbinic calendar, it should have occurred on Thursday. According to the exilarch, the setting of Passover on Tuesday was dictated by a concern to avoid visibility of the new moon before the first day of the month. This concern does not exist in the present-day rabbinic calendar. Once discovered and published in 1922, the exilarch’s letter proved beyond doubt that almost five hundred years after R.Yose and ‘Hillel the Patriarch’, then fixed calendar in its present-day form had still not been instituted.”
Rabbinic tradition ascribes to him an enactment which proved of incalculable benefit to his coreligionists of his own and of subsequent generations. The Jewish calendar is lunisolar. That is, its months are synchronized with the phases of the moon, but its average year length approximates the mean length of a solar year. The purpose of the latter is to ensure that the festivals, all of which occur on fixed dates of the lunar months, are also observed each year in the seasons designated for them in the Bible. To ensure the former, occasional intercalations of a day in a month were required; to ensure the latter, occasional intercalations of an extra month in a year were required.
These intercalations were determined at meetings of a special committee of the Sanhedrin. But Constantius II, following the precedents of Hadrian, prohibited the holding of such meetings as well as the vending of articles for distinctly Jewish purposes.
The entire Jewish community outside the land of Israel depended on the calendar sanctioned by the Judean Sanhedrin; this was necessary for the unified observance of the Jewish holidays. However, danger threatened the participants in that sanction and the messengers who communicated their decisions to distant congregations. Temporarily, to relieve the foreign congregations, Huna ben Abin once advised Rava not to wait for the official intercalation: When you are convinced that the winter quarter will extend beyond the sixteenth day of Nisan declare the year a leap year, and do not hesitate (R. H. 21a). But as the religious persecutions continued, Hillel decided to provide an authorized calendar for all time to come, though by doing so he severed the ties which united the Jews of the diaspora to their mother country and to the patriarchate.
The emperor Julian the Apostate was gracious to Hillel, whom he honored on a number of occasions. In an autograph letter to him, Julian assured him of his friendship and promised to ameliorate further the condition of the Jews. Before setting out for the war with Persia, Julian addressed to the Jewish congregations a circular letter in which he informed them that he had “committed the Jewish tax-rolls to the flames,” and that, “desiring to show them still greater favors, he has advised his brother, the venerable patriarch “Julos”, to abolish what was called the ‘send-tax’”.[1]
It was because of Constantine and Hadrian that Hillel formed the calculated calendar. Before this time, as you have just read, they were using the visible crescent moon to begin the month as they always had and still did right up until Rambam instituted it. Even the Tomb Stones of Zoar prove this statement true. Both methods of recording time were in use.
The problem Hillel had was to know when to add the 13th month in the Hebrew calendar because they would soon not have anyone in the land to observe the barley and whether or not it was ripe enough for the wave offering. So he turned to the mathematical works of Meton a Greek Astronomer.
For astronomy and calendar studies, the Metonic cycle or Enneadecaeteris (from Ancient Greek: “nineteen years”) is a period of very close to 19 years that is remarkable for being nearly a common multiple of the solar year and the synodic (lunar) month. The Greek astronomer Meton of Athens (fifth century BC) observed that a period of 19 years is almost exactly equal to 235 synodic months and, rounded to full days, counts 6,940 days. The difference between the two periods (of 19 years and 235 synodic months) is only a few hours, depending on the definition of the year.
Considering a year to be 1/19 of this 6,940-day cycle gives a year length of 365 + 1/4 + 1/76 days (the unrounded cycle is much more accurate), which is slightly more than 12 synodic months. To keep a 12-month lunar year in pace with the solar year, an intercalary 13th month would have to be added on seven occasions during the nineteen-year period (235 = 19 × 12 + 7). When Meton introduced the cycle around 432 BC, it was already known by Babylonian astronomers.
A mechanical computation of the cycle is built into the Antikythera mechanism. (The Antikythera mechanism is an ancient analog computer designed to predict astronomical positions and eclipses for calendrical and astrological purposes, as well as the Olympiads, the cycles of the ancient Olympic Games.)
The cycle was used in the Babylonian calendar, ancient Chinese calendar systems (the ‘Rule Cycle’) and the medieval computus (i.e. the calculation of the date of Easter). It regulates the 19-year cycle of intercalary months of the Hebrew calendar.
At the time of Meton, axial precession had not yet been discovered, and he could not distinguish between sidereal years (currently: 365.256363 days) and tropical years (currently: 365.242190 days). Most calendars, like the commonly used Gregorian calendar, are based on the tropical year and maintain the seasons at the same calendar times each year. Nineteen tropical years are about two hours shorter than 235 synodic months. The Metonic cycle’s error is, therefore, one full day every 219 years, or 12.4 parts per million.
The Metonic cycle has an error in it? Would Yehovah’s system have such an error?
Roy Hoffman of the New Moon Society, which is now sighting the moon and gathering information for the Sanhedrin for the day when they will once again revert back to the sighting of the moon, states that;
For over a thousand years, the Hebrew calendar has been fixed by calculation. Today, the Hebrew calendar does not match that fixed by observing the Moon. Even thought the gap between the two calendars continues to increase, we do not have the authority to alter the calendar until a new Sanhedrin (religious high court) is re-established and is widely recognized.
Back to the Metonic article;
Traditionally, for the Babylonians and Hebrew lunisolar calendars, the years 3, 6, 8, 11, 14, 17, and 19 are the long (13-month) years of the Metonic cycle. This cycle, which can be used to predict eclipses, forms the basis of the Greek and Hebrew calendars, and is used for the computation of the date of Easter year.
The Babylonians applied the 19-year cycle since the late sixth century BC. As they measured the moon’s motion against the stars, the 235:19 relationship may originally have referred to sidereal years, instead of tropical years as it has been used for various calendars.
Now let me quote to you how Judaism justifies this metonic cycle and, at the same time, show you where we are in that Metonic cycle.
The lunar month on the Jewish calendar begins when the first sliver of moon becomes visible after the dark of the moon. In ancient times, the new months used to be determined by observation. When people observed the new moon, they would notify the Sanhedrin. When the Sanhedrin heard testimony from two independent, reliable eyewitnesses that the new moon occurred on a certain date, they would declare the rosh chodesh (first of the month) and send out messengers to tell people when the month began.
The problem with strictly lunar calendars is that there are approximately 12.4 lunar months in every solar year, so a 12-month lunar calendar is about 11 days shorter than a solar year and a 13-month lunar is about 19 longer than a solar year. The months drift around the seasons on such a calendar: on a 12-month lunar calendar, the month of Nissan, which is supposed to occur in the Spring, would occur 11 days earlier in the season each year, eventually occurring in the Winter, the Fall, the Summer, and then the Spring again. On a 13-month lunar calendar, the same thing would happen in the other direction, and faster.
To compensate for this drift, the Jewish calendar uses a 12-month lunar calendar with an extra month occasionally added. The month of Nissan occurs 11 days earlier each year for two or three years, and then jumps forward 30 days, balancing out the drift. In ancient times, this month was added by observation: the Sanhedrin observed the conditions of the weather, the crops and the livestock, and if these were not sufficiently advanced to be considered “spring,” then the Sanhedrin inserted an additional month into the calendar to make sure that Pesach (Passover) would occur in the spring (it is, after all, referred to in the Torah as Chag he-Aviv, the Festival of Spring!).
They used to observe the state of the barley in the exact same way we now do. Continuing….
A year with 13 months is referred to in Hebrew as Shanah Me’uberet (pronounced shah-NAH meh-oo-BEH-reht), literally: a pregnant year. In English, we commonly call it a leap year. The additional month is known as Adar I, Adar Rishon (first Adar) or Adar Alef (the Hebrew letter Alef being the numeral “1” in Hebrew). The extra month is inserted before the regular month of Adar (known in such years as Adar II, Adar Sheini or Adar Beit).
In the fourth century, Hillel II established a fixed calendar based on mathematical and astronomical calculations. This calendar, still in use, standardized the length of months and the addition of months over the course of a 19 year cycle, so that the lunar calendar realigns with the solar years. Adar I is added in the 3rd, 6th, 8th, 11th, 14th, 17th and 19th years of the cycle. The current cycle began in Jewish year 5758 (the year that began October 2, 1997).
1997 was 5758 according to Judaism, and this Meteoric cycle began that year. The leap years or the extra month, Adar Bet is added just before Aviv the following year of 1998.
Now get out your charts that we have provided in the Prophecies of Abraham and begin to count the 19-year cycles. Aviv 1998 being year 1. When you do this, 2016 is year 19 in the Metonic cycle, and it is a leap year. An extra month will be added just before Aviv 2016. you can also go to this link to see that, yes, indeed, an extra month was added in March 2016.
We have been telling you for some time now that in 2016 The Hebrew Calendar and the Sighted Moon Calendar will be 30 days apart due to the fact the Barley will be ripe and Passover 2016 will be about March 24th. (this article was originally written in July 2015)
There will also be a dark moon at this time and again in the fall at Sukkot. A dark moon warns us of famine coming.
We have also been telling you that this calendar issue will finally be fixed in 2030, when the two witnesses bring back the 13 tribes of Israel from their imminent captivity to keep Passover in Jerusalem.
However, there will still be those who want to use the Hebrew Calendar instead of the sighted moon calendar.
During WW II, 6 Million Jews were slaughtered. WHY? They all used the Hebrew Calendar. They all went by the conjunction of the moon, and they all went by the postponement rules. They all were keeping the Holy Days at the wrong time. It was as if they were keeping the Saturday Sabbath on Sunday. It is the wrong day for what Yehovah commanded them to keep.
Yes, in a recent News Letter, I warned you that if you keep the wrong Holy Days or use a calendar that Yehovah has not sanctioned, you will lose your salvation. Some have become very upset that I said such a thing, so they attack me. Is it my fault they are not aligned with Yehovah? NO! I have pointed out that they and those who do not obey Yehovah are sinning, and sinners are not found in the Kingdom.
Deu 32:15 But Jeshurun grew fat and kicked. You grew fat, thick, and satisfied. Then he forsook God who made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. And on top of this none of them were keeping the Sabbatical years.
These people esteem Yehovah lightly. In other words, they do not fear Him enough to search for the truth and then OBEY HIM. It has nothing to do with me. We are laying out all the facts here. You get to choose to be a Hypocrite or a Moron should you choose to ignore these truths and return to the Hebrew Calendar or the Enoch Calendar or the Lunar Sabbath Calendar. You choose.
The word Salvation here is:
H3444 yeshu??a?h yesh-oo’-aw
Feminine passive participle of H3467; something saved, that is, (abstractly) deliverance; hence aid, victory, prosperity: – deliverance, health, help (-ing), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare.
H3467 ya?sha? yaw-shah’
A primitive root; properly to be open, wide or free, that is, (by implication) to be safe; causatively to free or succor: – X at all, avenging, defend, deliver (-er), help, preserve, rescue, be safe, bring (having) salvation, save (-iour), get victory.
This Rock that makes you safe, the Rock of your Freedom, the Rock that preserves your life and keeps you safe from harm…..This is your salvation and why you should choose to obey and keep the Holy Days when your supposed to keep them. Or you can choose the next Holocaust for those who refuse to obey, and that is soon to begin. Again, it’s your choice.
So Judaism was not keeping the 4th commandment, and for not doing so, they were punished in the Holocaust of WW II, and the price for breaking the 4th commandment is death.
Exo 31:14 You shall keep the Sabbath therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone that defiles it shall surely be put to death. For whoever does any work in it, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 15 Six days may work be done, but on the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to Jehovah. Whoever does any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. 16 Therefore the sons of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for an everlasting covenant. 17 It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever. For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested, and was refreshed.
They had broken the sign that identified them as Yehovah’s. Yes, they kept the weekly Sabbath, but not the Holy Days or Sabbatical years. Yes, they thought they were keeping them. Christians think they are being Holy by keeping Sunday as the Sabbath. But Yehovah never said to keep Sunday as the weekly Sabbath. Nor did He authorize us to use the Metonic cycle of arbitrarily adding a 13th month at predetermined years in a 19-year cycle invented by men.
Now, let us look at what we are told in Revelation.
Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who bore the man child . 14 And two wings of a great eagle were given to the woman, so that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the serpent’s face. 15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water like a flood after the woman, so that he might cause her to be carried away by the river. 16 And the earth helped the woman. And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was enraged over the woman, and went to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Here then is my question to you.
When the woman flees into the wilderness where she is protected for 3 1/2 years from Satan, who are these other people that Satan now makes war with who keep the commandments and the testimony of Yehshua?
Why did they not flee with the rest of the woman into the wilderness?
I say they do not go because they are following the Jewish Hebrew Calendar with the postponement rules and the Metonic cycles of added leap years without regard to the barley being aviv.
When you count out the Metonic cycle, as we have now shown to you, the year 2017 is year one in the Metonic cycle. 2030 would then be the 14th year of this cycle and it is a forced leap year.
Passover 2030 will be about March 19, according to the Sighted Moon calendar. Or at least it has the potential at this date. We will not know for sure until that very year. But because of the Metonic cycle, 2030 is the 14th year and a leap year, making Passover come on April 18 of 2030.
We are given a very specific command about Passover. We are to be ready to flee, and at this time, Yehovah will judge.
Exo 12:11 And you shall eat of it this way, with your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. And you shall eat it in a hurry. It is Jehovah’s passover. 12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast. And I will execute judgments against all the gods of Egypt. I am Jehovah.
When one group eats Passover in 2030, they will then flee to the wilderness, and the army of the beast will pursue them. When the earth swallows that army, the beast then turns to make war on those gathering in Jerusalem for the Passover on April 18.
The two witnesses are killed during this time. They have caused the world trouble for the past 3 1/2 years. It is because of this trouble that Israel is brought back to the land from captivity. But just like Jacob, it is a deception to slaughter them all once again. This is why the woman flees when she sees the armies surrounding Jerusalem. But those coming late or those who do not see the armies and are going to keep the Passover according to the Hebrew calendar will be slaughtered, as Revelation warns you.
After this, there will be no more confusion about the calendar. It will be the original sighted moon calendar based on the barley being Aviv. And those in the wilderness with the Messiah at Bozrah will be keeping the Holy Days at the right time and the Sabbath and the Sabbatical years.
Many people write and say there is no 13th month in the bible so they are not going to keep it. Yet in their hypocrisy if they are keeping the Holy Days according to the Hebrew Calendar, then they are keeping a 13th month approximately every 3rd calendar year. Yet they state categorically that they are not going to keep it.
Are You Going to Follow Man’s Rules or Yehovah’s Commandments? The Choice is Yours. Remember though, you must pay the price if you are wrong.
Ezekiel’s 13th Month
Ezekiel’s 13th Month
How do we prove that the 13th month was, in fact, part of the normal understanding of those who kept the Torah before Yehshua was born? That is not as easy to prove as it is to state. But it is very provable.
Many will go to the Courses that David set up to run the Temple as proof that there is no 13th month.
1Ch 27:1 Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand. 2 Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 3 Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month. 4 And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand. 5 The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 6 This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son. 7 The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 8 The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 9 The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 10 The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 11 The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 12 The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anetothite, of the Benjamites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 13 The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 14 The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 15 The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 16 Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah: 17 Of the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of the Aaronites, Zadok: 18 Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael: 19 Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel: 20 Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah: 21 Of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner: 22 Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
We then have Solomon telling us about how the Kingdom was provided for each month. Each region was to take care of the needs of the Kingdom for one month. The same as David had the Priest serve for 2 weeks twice a year and he also had the army rotating each month with each tribe taking turns standing guard. Solomon also had each region serve for one month at a time.
We recently talked about the Taskmaster and how people were paying over 20% in taxes. Back then, this would work out to be 1/12 of the year each region served the King- about 10%, which is a far cry from the 30%- 50% many now pay.
1Ki 4:7 And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision. 8 And these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim: 9 The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Bethshemesh, and Elonbethhanan: 10 The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him pertained Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher: 11 The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife: 12 Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Bethshean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Bethshean to Abelmeholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam: 13 The son of Geber, in Ramothgilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars: 14 Ahinadab the son of Iddo had Mahanaim: 15 Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife: 16 Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth: 17 Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar: 18 Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin: 19
Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land.
This verse 19 is speaking of the 13th month and it was at this time that this person served. Of this one verse in 1 Kings 4:19 we have the following commentaries.
The first is from John Gill
and [he was] the only officer which [was] in the land; which is not true of Geber; for there was another officer in the land of Gilead besides him, the son of Geber before observed, unlilless it should be rendered “in that land,” in that part of the land he had; but then the same might have been observed of all the rest of the officers: the words may be rendered best, “and there was one officer in the land”; which some understand of one officer over all the rest, Azariah the son of Nathan, 1 Kings 4:5; but it seems best what other Jewish writers say {u}, that this was another officer appointed for the intercalated month; when there were thirteen months in the year, there was an officer in the land fixed for that month to make provision out of the land; perhaps any where, where he pleased, being not limited to any certain place.
The following quote is provided by my friend Nehemiah Gordon.
The second century text Sifrei Devarim 2:3 comments on the one governor who was over the land in 1 Kings 4:18. “What is this ‘one’? This is for the month of intercalation.”
Some of you will dismiss this verse because it does not come right out and tell you. You have to think. OK then, we have one more article to share with you, but again, you will have to think—Ezekiel’s 30 Days.
There are some out there who claim the world used to be 30 days every month. It never was nor will be. But they still insist based on Daniel 12’s 1335, 1260 and 1290 and the verse in revelation.
What you are about to read is going to show you that there were not 30 days per month. It will prove to you that they were going by 29 and 30-day months. And it is going to prove to you that they had a 13th-month year. In fact, if you understand prophecy, then you know that the 1335 days of Daniel and the 1290 days of Daniel include in both of them a 13th month. But I digress. Let us now get to the 30 Days of Ezekiel.

A One GOOD NIGHT Sleep – In ONE DAY – 24 HOURS
The DEAD are ASLEEP, RESTING IN PEACE – knowing nothing.
In the same way as when we have A ONE GOOD NIGHT SLEEP
The DEAD are waiting to be awake by a resurrection from the dead.
Shortly Starting, ONE THOUSAND YEARS RULED BY THE KINGDOM OF GOD
Those who are dying now, will be Asleep, RESTING IN PEACE – knowing nothing
For ONE THOUSAND YEARS, as written in : –
Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
Revelation 20:5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
The coming ONE THOUSAND YEARS, For God the DEAD are Asleep RESTING IN PEACE
FOR ONE NIGHT – IN ONE DAY.
THIS IS WHY – THAT ONE THOUSAND YEARS – As FOR GOD ARE ONE DAY.
As written in : – Psalms 90:4 For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it is past, And like a watch in the night.
2Peter 3:8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
As an example of how Yehovah did not divorce Judah, watch this two and a half minute video where Benjamin Netanyahu sings a blessing over the IDF troops:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyByE2UmTbA
Netanyahu:“He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob – may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Forces, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our God from the border of Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May Hashem cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your God, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
Now let us respond: Amen.”
Thanks Joe and your team. I”m doing a university course on the Bible.Learning about the Word of our God Yehovah.38 years I:ve been studying it and still it is exciting and awe inspiring. Never want it to end.I want Yehovah to give us our degrees. We just have to trust Him have faith that He will not leave us . God bless you all. Phyllis Mannering.
Shabat Shalum Joseph,
You state there has never been a time that there were 30 Days each Month, in a year. I do think there was a time. During Nuach’s time. He entered the Ark on the 17th Day of the 2nd Month and the Ark landed on Mount Ararat on the 17th Day of the 7th Month. Exactly 5 Months apart and 150 Days. During My entire walk, I have never had 5 Months of 30 Days each. So if there has never been any time that the year was exactly 30 Days each Month, then please explain this.
Shalom Robert, there has never been a time when each month was 30 days EVERY MONTH.
During Noah’s time, while he was on the Ark, he could not see the moon because the Ark was sealed, and it was raining and overcast. It was not until after those 150 days that Noah removed the covering of the window. He could not sight the moon each month from inside the ark. He could only sight it once he was able to go outside.
When you can’t see the moon, then the month is declared a 30-day month. But the moon has always travelled around the earth in 29.530589 using the synodic period. See below.
The sidereal month is the time it takes to make one complete orbit around Earth with respect to the fixed stars. It is about 27.32 days. The synodic month is the time it takes the Moon to reach the same visual phase. This varies notably throughout the year,[15] but averages around 29.53 days. The synodic period is longer than the sidereal period because the Earth–Moon system moves in its orbit around the Sun during each sidereal month, hence a longer period is required to achieve a similar alignment of Earth, the Sun, and the Moon. The anomalistic month is the time between perigees and is about 27.55 days. The Earth–Moon separation determines the strength of the lunar tide raising force.(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orbit_of_the_Moon)
You must keep in mind, Yehovah never changes. He is the same yesterday today and tomorrow. So His calendar never changes and has always been done this same way since creation.
At this time of the yearly cycle more than the rest, I am ever so thankful for witnesses being presented to help us make a well-thought-out decision about when to make a declaration of a new biblical year.
I can’t remember a year we were not sweating it out at least a little bit about whether we would have a 13th month or declare the biblical year ahead of everyone else and go against the majority. Why should this year be any different?
It seems every time we hope for extra time to prepare, we do not get it and we keep Passover in the 12th month. With everything you all have presented us as evidence and reports of the maturity of grains, I will be preparing to keep Passover this next Lunar Cycle. With the extra time that you factored in for error sake into our count last meeting, it seems unlikely the grain will not be ready. Wait another cycle and we risk no longer having a First Fruits offering. I pretty confident we see Becca decare year done but she not predict anything until she is sure. Brethren love to pick apart everything she says as well so it is understandable. If I’m wrong then I just keep it again but if I wait and miss out on the first fruits offering there’s no getting that back. This is no time to be indecisive about obedience to YeHoVaH. We need every blessing and all favor we can get.
Thanks so much, Joseph. We appreciate everything you do to keep us informed this time of year. You and Becca as well. May YeHoVaH bless you for your service to brethren brother
2024 up. Year Dragon. Or as Cycus calls it Year of Levithan. Yikes. YeHoVaH help us!!!
My love to all brethren from Nova Scotia Canada
