SightedMoon day unsure of and Daniel Prophesy Relationship

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

New Moon Sighting For March 2007

Potential to Test Our Faith

Today is March 3, 2007. We have had the past two reports from the Karaites that the moon has not been visible. There for by the rules of the sighting of the moon, if the moon is not seen on the 29th day then the month is 30 days long. The month is never 31. It can be on rare occasions, 28, or 27.

By using the computer to calculate whether or not the moon would have been visible in Jerusalem when it was not seen has added to the anxiety of those who are trying to follow the sighted moon. They are anxious because the moon could have been seen. Oh, oh, that means that this next new moon could be out by one or two or three days, if the clouds prevent an actual sighting. Then all those projected dates would be off. Then all the spring Holy Days would be off.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. What are you comparing this being off to. The Gregorian pagan sun calendar, or the Hebrew pagan sun & lunar calendar. Both are heretic calendars that deceive the people.

I have shown you by the many articles on my web site, www.sightedmoon.com that the way to tell the start of the month is by the first sighting of the new moon. It does not need to be compared to the other calendars to see if we are close or not.

Yahweh is testing us. How will you do on this test? There are many more coming which will mean life or death depending on which way you choose.

Stop and take a breath and think a little. When Noah was in the Ark, what was going on outside? It was raining for forty days and forty nights. It was also overcast and cloudy much of the time. How do we know this?

In Genesis 7:11 Noah entered the ark on the 17th day of the second month.

In Genesis 7:24 the waters prevailed on the earth 150 days. Genesis 8:4 The ark rested on the 17th day of the seventh month. Now all the math geniuses have already figured out that the month are 5 in total. 150 divided by 5 is 30 days each month. This is where they fall off the wagon and go astray with their conclusions. This is why they claim the year before the flood was 360 days long. This is why they come up with the many and great theories they arrive at. A false starting point. It is because they do not understand the sighted moon method of determining the month. They forget that some months are 29 days in length and some are 30. Noah could not see the moon. It was overcast and raining. He was also inside the ark. In Genesis 8:6 we read that after the 150 days another 40 days pass, BEFORE Noah opened the window of the ark. Only then did he set about sending out the birds. Only then could he see the sky. Noah was in the ark and could not see the moon at all during this time. There for each month would be 30 days, until Noah could actually sight the moon himself. One the prophecies of Daniel has weighed on mind for some time. It came to be understood by me only after I came to understand the sighted moon calendar and obey it. It says in Daniel 12: 9 And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty five days. 13 But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”

It says here that this is for the time of the end. The last days. We believe we are almost there. It says that the wise shall understand. Who are they? Psalm 111: 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.

The Angel then gives Daniel the first clue. From the time that the daily sacrifices are stopped. Which means they have to start again, which they have not yet done. From that time until the Abomination is set up is 1290 days.

Do you see the clue? So many have come up with some pretty wild and imaginative theories as to what this means. I, however, am finding the more simple the explanation the more closer it is to the truth.

This is 3 ½ years plus one extra month. The month of Adar Bet, the extra month that is added when the barley is not ripe.

Clue number two is the 1335 days that the blessed wait for. What is this? 1260 days is three and one half years. Add in one extra month and we get 1290. Add in 50 days to Pentecost and we have 1330. The extra five days is due to the Wave sheaf offering not being done until the fifth day after the First day of Unleavened bread. See my article The Hidden Meaning of Pentecost. It is my believe that we are changed into spirit beings at Pentecost. The same time the Holy Spirit was given to the Apostles, the same time the Law was given to Israel at Mount Sinai.

The next question I have is why does Yahweh tell us this? Not until I began to keep the sighted moon calendar in 2005, did this become clear. Zechariah 14:6 It shall come to pass in that day That there will be no light; The lights will diminish. 7 It shall be one day Which is known to the Lord– Neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen That it will be light.

Isaiah 13: 6 Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. 7 Therefore all hands will be limp, Every man’s heart will melt, 8 And they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; They will be amazed at one another; Their faces will be like flames. 9 Behold, the day of the Lord comes, Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, To lay the land desolate; And He will destroy its sinners from it. 10 For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not give their light; The sun will be darkened in its going forth, And the moon will not
cause its light to shine. 11 “I will punish the world for its evil, And the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. 12 I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold, A man more than the golden wedge of Ophir.

Revelation 8: 1 When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. 3 Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the
golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunder, lightning, and an earthquake. 6 So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. 7 The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up. 8 Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. 9 And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. 10 Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. 11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter. 12 Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night. 13 And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”

Ezekiel 32: 3 “Thus says the Lord God: ‘I will therefore spread My net over you with a company of many people, And they will draw you up in My net. 4 Then I will leave you on the land; I will cast you out on the open fields, And cause to settle on you all the birds of the heavens. And with you I will fill the beasts of the whole earth. 5 I will lay your flesh on the mountains, And fill the valleys with your carcass. 6 ‘I will also water the land with the flow of your blood, Even to the mountains; And the riverbeds will be full of you. 7 When I put out your light, I will cover the heavens, and make its stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud,
And the moon shall not give her light. 8 All the bright lights of the heavens I will make dark over you, And bring darkness upon your land,’ Says the Lord God. 9 ‘I will also trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.

Mark 13: 4 “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign when all these things will be fulfilled?” 5 And Jesus, answering them, began to say: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 6 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and will deceive many. 7 But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. 8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows. 9 But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them. 10 And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations. 11 But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. 12 Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. 13 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 “So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 15 Let him who is on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter to take anything out of his house. 16 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 17 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in
those days! 18 And pray that your flight may not be in winter. 19 For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be. 20 And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days. 21 Then if
anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, He is there!’ do not believe it. 22 For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 23 But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand. 24 “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; 25 the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from
the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven. 28 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 29 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that it is near–at the doors! 30 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. 31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. 32 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. 34 It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. 35 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming–in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning– 36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”

Revelation 6: 9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed. 12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake;  and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. 13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. 14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.

Brethren when I read these scriptures I see that after the martyrdom of the saints, the wars that follow become so severe that the stars fall from heaven. To me this is saying that rockets and missiles will fall from heaven. This then causes dirt to fly up and many, many fires. It is so bad that the sun is blocked and the moon does not give it’s light. It is so bad that for the 3 and half years we will not be able to see the moon or the sun. To the world this does not matter, but to those of us who are keeping the commandments of Yahweh, His appointed Holy days, it does matter.

This is why He gives us specific number of days to count. So we can keep track of when the appointed days are, because we will not be able to see the moon for 3 ½ years. During this time there will be one extra month. We are getting close to that time, when all this is to happen. This is why we are possibly being tested now and trained to know how to follow His instructions and not our own. This is why we will wait and see if the moon is visible or not on March 19-22. This is why we will count 30 days if it is not visible and then begin our count for the Passover season.

Trust in and Follow Yahweh.

Shalom Brethren
