Pentecost and World Financial Struggles are Leading to war

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Pentecost and World Financial Struggles are Leading to war

Shabbat Shalom Brethren,

We are now at the 49th day of counting the omer. Tomorrow, Sunday May 23 will be the 50th day and Pentecost or Shavuot. Each and every year we count the Omer we are given an example of how to count the Sabbatical and Jubilee year cycles.

Just as Sunday is the 50th day of Pentecost on the first day of the week, so is the fiftieth Year also the first year in the count of the next Jubilee cycle.

Think about it. Next Sabbath is going to be just 6 days away from this Pentecost Sunday.

This Shabbat is day 49, Sunday is Day 50 and Pentecost and the first day of the week. Monday is day 2, Tuesday, is day 3, Wednesday is day 4, Thursday is day 5, Friday is day 6 and Saturday is day 7 and Shabbat.

In the Jubilee cycle it is exactly the same thing.

You have the 49th year as the Sabbatical year just like the weekly Sabbath. You have the Jubilee year; the 50th year is also the first year in the next count just like Pentecost Sunday is the 50th day and the first day of the week.

If we were to do the Pentecost cycle like many people erroneously try to do the Jubilee cycle, it would be like this.

The 49th day is Shabbat, the 50th day is Sunday, then the first day is Monday and the second day is Tuesday, and the third day is Wednesday, and the fourth day is Thursday and the fifth day is Friday and the sixth day is Shabbat, and the 7th day would be Sunday.

And we all know this is not how we count from one Shabbat to the next. If you know this then why do so many of you insist that this is the way you count the Sabbatical years? And because so many of you do count like this you cannot figure out the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. But because you have not figured it out using a faulty theory you dismiss what we teach here at sightedmoon.com because you can’t figure it out.

The Sabbatical years are recorded in history and all you have to do is look at them to know whether or not what I have said above is correct.
The years we know to be Land Rest years and Jubilee Years are as follows. From Qadesh La Yahweh Press.

: A land rest year occurred in 701 BC and a Jubilee in 700 BC as written in the Bible in 2 Kings 19:29, Isaiah 37, and 2 Chronicles 32
: A Sabbath year occurred in 456 BC Nehemiah 8:18
: A Sabbath year occurred in 162 BC 1 Macc 16:14 Jos Antiq
: A Sabbath year occurred in 134 BC 1 Macc & Jos Antiq
: A Sabbath year occurred in 43 BC as issued by Gaius Julius Caeser And Jos Antiq
: A Sabbath year occurred in 36 BC Jos Antiq 14:16:2
: A Sabbath year occurred in 22 BC Jos Antiq 15:9:1
: A Sabbath year occurred in 42 CE Jos Antiq 18:
: A Sabbath year occurred in 56 CE
: A Sabbath year occurred in 70 CE
: A Sabbath year occurred in 133 CE
: A Sabbath year occurred in 140 CE

What each of you needs to do is to plot this down on an excel spread sheet and just count from one Known Sabbatical year to another. You can only do so by repeatedly counting by 7. If you insist on counting 49, 50 1, 2, 3, then you will not be able to line up any of the Known Sabbatical years.

Those people and groups using Daniels Timeline ignore all the historical years in favour of their own theory based on 1917, 1967, and 2017 as the last Jubilee year. They do this based on 1917 being the year of the Balfour declaration and 1967 Yom Kippur war. But compare them to the known historical years.

Please do this brethren, and then take it to your leadership. They are already mad at me for showing you how Daniels Timeline is wrong and instead of checking it out and doing the actual work; they attack me and slander me. They also block me from GLC and other radio shows and conferences. Instead of wasting your energy on me, do the math and see for your selves when Yahovah’s Sabbatical years are. This is the only way you will know for sure, if you do the actual work and figure it out.

2009-2010 From Aviv to Aviv was the second Sabbatical year in this the last Jubilee cycle, the 120th one. We are now into the third Sabbatical cycle and this means we are witnessing the third set of curses of Lev 26. Pestilence, Earthquakes and famines.
Because so many of you are too lazy to plot this out and prove it you are setting yourselves up to be deceived by following Daniels Timeline, and by using this historically unsubstantiated chronology you will believe that the 69 weeks of Daniel match perfectly with the birth of the nation of Israel in 1948.

With the 70 week Prophecy of Daniel these people cause you to stumble. They are telling you that each week is as a year. This is not scriptural. For it says in Ezekiel 4:6 “When you have completed these, you shall lie down a second time, but on your right side and bear the iniquity of the house of Judah ; I have assigned it to you for forty days, a day for each year.

This is where we get the day for the year teaching, not a day for each week as they are slipping past you. Wake up people.

So by adding the 62 weeks of Daniels prophecy to 1948 and arriving at 2010, they have changed the day for a year to a week for a year. This is not what Ezekiel is saying. But forget the Prophet Ezekiel they want to stick to their own teachings. They then add 7 more years on to 2010 for the last 7 weeks of Daniels prophecy to arrive at 2017 and they call this year a Jubilee year.

They are telling you we are into the last 7 years of the Great Tribulation and so many of you are just buying into it. You are going to be deceived if this is the way you are thinking. Do the math and prove this to your selves.

The Problem is that 2017 is not a Jubilee year as they are telling you. Nor is 2016 the 49th year Sabbatical year. 1967 was not a Jubilee year nor was 1917 upon which their whole theory is based. It is a theory pulled out of thin air. A theory! Read Josephus and read Maccabees and know when these Sabbatical years were. Go to http://www.yahweh.org/yahweh2.html and order the book to prove beyond a doubt when these known Sabbatical years happened. I am pleading with you to do this, but it is your family and your children whose lives are at stake. There should be thousands of you screaming this message out to your leadership, but there is not. It is still just a few who have done the work and proven this that are speaking up.

But instead of taking up the challenge most of your popular Messianic leaders condemn me and attack me in order for them to stay the same. In order for you to stay in their flocks. Do the math brethren, read the history books. Stop being misled. You can know. Ask Yahovah to show you.

We were able to talk about this on Torah 2 the nations last week at http://torah2thenations.com/radio-show/joseph-dumond-disscuses-end-time-prophecy-of-patrarichs/ It was a very poor phone connection and the interview reflects this.

At this time of year I remind people to read the Hidden Meaning of Pentecost and I do so again.

I received an email from Ovadyah of Kol HaTor last week.

I think we all need to read this; one to know our enemies are at work seeking to destroy us; and two that Yahovah is at work protecting us according to His schedule.

The miracle of Ash cloud of Iceland.

The following amazing observation was made by Rabbi Lazer Brody last week, about an event which greatly concerned the Israeli PM and minister of Defence.

This event reminds me of the Pesach Seder Song which we featured recently and which is a very popular song in Israel these days. “The Holy One, Blessed is He, will save us from their hands ….” You may want to thank and glorify Him for this miracle last week, under the strains of this song, which you will find here:
http://www.youtube. com/watch? v=C8h0yQZZyXk

And here are the words of the song:
“This threat of annihilation faced our ancestors and us.
For it was not one enemy alone who rose up against us to destroy us.
In every generation there are those who rise up against us and seek to annihilate us.
But the Holy One, blessed be He, rescues us (‘matzileynu’ ) from their hands.”

Ash clouds, Missiles, and a Crazy Chamsin

Wednesday, 12 May 2010
http://lazerbrody. typepad.com/ lazer_beams/ 2010/05/ash- clouds-missiles- and-a-crazy- chamsin.html
If we knew the miracles that Hashem does behind our backs, we’d all be break-dancing in the middle of the Beltway at rush hour.

Nobody seemed to notice the connection between the Iceland volcanic ash cloud that was edging toward Israel, threatening to ground all air traffic, the crazy weather in Israel now, the military war games in Iran and Israel’s frantic efforts – even using Russia as a go-between – to fend off war with Syria and Iran. All these are pieces in one big puzzle that Hashem is putting together to hasten the Redemption (Geulah). The Redemption is coming, as we mentioned yesterday. How it will come depends on our actions.

So what’s the connection? And what’s the big miracle? And why were Bibi and Peres panicking?

Under the guise of maneuvers, the Iranians were in strike formation. They and the Syrians saw the volcanic ash cloud as an opportunity to pour a massive barrage of missiles on Israel, while the Israeli Air Force – who they’re scared stiff of – would be neutralized by the jet-engine-destroying cloud. The volcanic ash cloud choking Israeli air space would have made us sitting ducks to Syrian, Iranian, and Hezbollah missiles, Heaven forbid.

So what did Hashem do? Monday night, when the cloud ash cloud was set to reach Israel via a Westerly wind, the winds suddenly shifted here and became a 30-40 MPH searing hot desert wind, what we call the Chamsin, blowing in from the Saudi Arabian desert southeast of us, driving temperatures up to the high 90’s (F) here on the coast, with sandstorms that coated our flat with a dust film. As soon as the ash cloud was blown away from Israel, the weather turned to a comfy 80F, sunny, with gentle 5 MPH winds from off the Mediterranean.

Hashem foiled the Iranian’s plans. The IAF was back to policing the skies full force. There were large scale aerial maneuvers here that communicated the message to Iran and its proxy Syria, “Don’t mess around with us.” Frustrated, the Iranians began flexing macho muscles and firing Fajr-5 missiles into the sea and threatening the US navy. Ahmadinejad is begging for someone to kick him in the teeth. I’m sure Hashem will oblige.

Meanwhile, Hashem is showing us how much He loves us. Let’s show Hashem how much we love Him. Let’s strengthen our emuna and do our best to spread emuna all over the world. We must believe that we have the power to make this world a better place.
Thanks so much for the miracles, Hashem. You are, were, and always will be The Greatest there is. We sure love you.

[Rabbi Lazer Brody correctly predicted, days in advance, the devastating affects of Katrina tornado on its way to New Orleans in Aug. 2005. He arrived at his conclusions from the Gematria (word number count) of the Hebrew version of the word “Katrina” and comparing it with alternative word counts from the Torah. His deciphering from 2 Torah texts defined the clue: ‘the sea engulfing the earth as a penalty for opposing His people”. He also suggested that this was HaShem’s retribution on the USA for their part in pressuring Israel to remove 1800 Jewish families from their homes in Gush Katif. We have also posed the current Mexican Gulf Oil spill as a continuation of this Retribution for the USA’s continued and increasing pressure on Israel].

PS. – from OvadYah
We noted the abnormal strength of these winds, blowing over huge pot plants in our garden. Then heard of the probability of ash clouds – and were particularly intrigued by the sudden change of the wind (realizing it was strange), in exactly the opposite direction, bringing low, cool temperatures. But we were unaware of the drama in the background.

The weather has also been extraordinary over the last weeks / months. We have a deck where we escape from the summer heat at even times. We have as yet not used it even once this year, and we are deep into summer. I remember the past when there would be ONE week between winter (cold / rainy) and summer (blistering sun in clear skies for 6-8 long summer months with not a cloud in sight). This year it seems to have been battling for weeks (since Pesach) to turn to summer. Even today, it was overcast, a normal heatless day – and a weather forecast of rain in the next few days! Yet, most people say it is “normal”!

Last week we told you about the European mother of all bailouts and how this is going to play into the Beast powers desire on world domination through monetary means. Then no man will be able to buy or sell unless they are part of that system. This week we show you more of this but only from the USA failing point of view.

From Last Week thetrumpet.com
States: Can’t Stop the Bleeding

The death of a thousand cuts has arrived. But as painful as the spending cuts have felt, they are nothing compared to what is coming.

State debt woes are growing too big to camouflage, and states are getting desperate.

Hawaii has instituted a four-day school week. New Hampshire got caught trying to appropriate $110 million from its medical malpractice insurance pool. Colorado is trying similar shenanigans. Things are so bad in Connecticut that the state tried to issue new accounting rules. If Rhode Island were a country, it would be verging on Greece.

California looks like it is trying to become Greece. In April, personal income tax month, revenues collapsed by nearly 30 percent—making previous budget predictions look comical. Somehow officials will need to find another $3 billion this year—just to get back to the estimated $20 billion shortfall.

Where is the money going to come from?

To give you an idea of how bad California’s plight is: Voters will soon get a chance to vote on whether to decriminalize marijuana usage. The proposal is being billed as a cure for the state’s debt problems: The drug would be taxed like cigarettes and could potentially provide billions in state revenue.

Forty-eight out of 50 state governments are operating in the red—surely that is a sign that something is dangerously wrong. Yet, government analysts have the gall to say that America is supposedly in the midst of a recovery!

But here is why budget problems are going to get even worse.

President Obama’s stimulus money is beginning to run out. Stimulus funds helped plug up to 40 percent of budget shortfalls over the past two years. But the Recovery Act money will only be sufficient to cover 20 percent or less of deficits this coming fiscal year, and by 2012, it will be almost entirely gone.

And all the easy fat has been trimmed. Each cut going forward is going to be progressively more painful.

The bills are coming due. Expect more taxes—and one more cut and layoff after another—until you are numb to the pain.

I would also like you all to look at this article on just how dangerous Japans economy is collapsing as well as the UK. http://www.moneyandmarkets.com/japan-the-sleeping-sovereign-debt-giant-39096 Then remember what we told you last week about the European bailout. Now keep all of this in mind as you read what follows. You need to know these things as we get closer and closer to the start of the 4th Sabbatical cycle in just 7 years time. That cycle has the curse of war which is found in Lev 26:23. And it is during this 4th curse that the USA and the UK will be defeated in a war led by the Germans and Europe and the Muslim Nations as Psalm 83 shows us.

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II
I am showing you this because the starting line for WWII was so confusing that most people did not know what was going on at all times. It will be very similar in our day. Conflicts will be here and there. Somehow they will converge into a greater front. But I am also showing you that it was war that led the nations of the world out of the great depression. As we go down deeper into this economic crisis and more and more bail outs are sought and given, there comes a point when everything begins to shut down. This was the great depression. Once we get to this point then the demands of war, the demands for resources to make armaments, the demands for soldiers to fight will take the world out of this financial crisis but into another crisis even greater.

Notice also that this does not take place in a nice neat 7 year time period that some teachers are trying to get you to believe.

The war is generally considered to have begun on 1 September 1939, with the invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany and subsequent declarations of war on Germany by France and most of the countries of the British Empire and Commonwealth. Many countries were already at war by this date, such as Ethiopia and Italy in the Second Italo-Abyssinian War and China and Japan in the Second Sino-Japanese War. Many that were not initially involved joined the war later in response to events such as the German invasion of the Soviet Union and the Japanese attacks on the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor and on British overseas colonies, which triggered declarations of war on Japan by the United States, the British Commonwealth, and the Netherlands.

Other dates for the beginning of war include the Japanese invasion of Manchuria on 13 September 1931; the start of the Second Sino-Japanese War on 7 July 1937; or one of several other events.

In the aftermath of the war major unrest in Europe rose, especially irredentist and revanchist nationalism and class conflict. Irredentism and revanchism was strong in Germany which was forced to accept significant territorial, colonial, and financial losses as part of the Treaty of Versailles. Under the treaty Germany lost around 13 percent of its home territory and all of its overseas colonies, while German annexation of other states was prohibited, massive reparations were imposed and limits were placed on the size and capability of Germany’s armed forces.

In the interwar period, domestic civil conflict occurred in Germany involving nationalists and reactionaries versus communists and moderate democratic political parties. A similar scenario occurred in Italy. Although Italy as an Entente ally made some territorial gains, Italian nationalists were angered that the terms of the Treaty of London upon which Italy had agreed to wage war on the Central Powers, were not fulfilled with the peace settlement. From 1922 to 1925, the Italian Fascist movement led by Benito Mussolini seized power in Italy with a nationalist, totalitarian, and class collaborationist agenda that abolished representative democracy, repressed political forces supporting class conflict or liberalism, and pursued an aggressive foreign policy aimed at forcefully forging Italy as a world power, and promising to create a “New Roman Empire.” Fascism became internationally popular amongst people disillusioned with democratic government, liberalism, and class conflict. In Germany, the Nazi Party led by Adolf Hitler pursued establishing such a fascist government in Germany. With the onset of the Great Depression, Nazi support rose and, in 1933, Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany, and in the aftermath of the Reichstag fire, Hitler created a totalitarian single-party state led by the Nazis.

The Kuomintang (KMT) party in China launched a unification campaign against regional warlords and nominally unified China in the mid-1920s, but was soon embroiled in a civil war against its former Chinese communist allies. In 1931, an increasingly militaristic Japanese Empire, which had long sought influence in China as the first step of its right to rule Asia, used the Mukden Incident as justification to invade Manchuria and established the puppet state of Manchukuo. Too weak to resist Japan, China appealed to the League of Nations for help. Japan withdrew from the League of Nations after being condemned for its incursion into Manchuria. The two nations then fought several minor conflicts, in Shanghai, Rehe and Hebei, until signing the Tanggu Truce in 1933. Thereafter, Chinese volunteer forces continued the resistance to Japanese aggression in Manchuria, and Chahar and Suiyuan.

Adolf Hitler, after an unsuccessful attempt to overthrow the German government in 1923, became the Chancellor of Germany in 1933. He abolished democracy, espousing a radical, racially-motivated revision of the world order, and soon began a massive rearmament campaign. Meanwhile, France, to secure its alliance, allowed Italy a free hand in Ethiopia, which Italy desired as a colonial possession. The situation was aggravated in early 1935 when the Saarland was legally reunited with Germany and Hitler repudiated the Treaty of Versailles, speeding up his rearmament programme and introducing conscription.

(http://www.historyplace.com/worldwar2/triumph/tr-hossbach.htm From the very beginning of his career until his dying day, Adolf Hitler had just two major goals. His primary goal was the forcible acquisition of Lebensraum (living space) for the German people. Secondly, he desired some kind of final reckoning with the Jews.

The first steps toward Lebensraum occurred in 1935 when Hitler openly violated the Treaty of Versailles by reintroducing military conscription and began rapidly rebuilding the German Army. Hitler then managed to negotiate a naval pact with Britain allowing Germany to have a Navy totaling 35 percent of Britain’s fleet, along with a submarine fleet equal in size.

Hitler realized that world leaders were becoming increasingly nervous as Germany rearmed, given the country’s role in the catastrophic World War some twenty years earlier. He continually reassured diplomats, and anyone else who would listen, that Germany’s military buildup was solely a defensive measure designed to put the country on an equal footing with surrounding nations. After all, he would ask, didn’t Germany have a right to defend itself like every other nation?

Hitler would answer his own question in the affirmative while in the same breath promising that Germany would never break the peace. To emphasize the point, Hitler uttered some remarkable statements concerning the horrors of war, which he had witnessed first-hand as a front line soldier. On May 21, 1935, he declared during a major speech: “The blood shed on the European continent in the course of the last three hundred years bears no proportion to the national result of the events. In the end, France had remained France, Germany Germany, Poland Poland, and Italy Italy. What dynastic egotism, political passion and patriotic blindness have attained in the way of apparently far-reaching political changes by shedding rivers of blood has, as regards national feeling, done no more than touched the skin of nations. It has not substantially altered their fundamental characters. If these states had applied merely a fraction of their sacrifices to wiser purposes the success would certainly have been greater and more permanent.”

The leaders of France and England, and Hitler’s smaller next-door neighbors, were naturally quite impressed by such sentiments. Years later, they would find out that on the very day Hitler spoke those words he had also approved a secret Reich Defense Law which put Germany on a war economy and revived the Army’s General Staff organization, which had been banned after World War I.

Most diplomats mistakenly took Hitler at his word and thought he was a man they could reason with, perhaps even trust. This, of course, was precisely what Hitler wanted them to think. He had them all at a distinct disadvantage, since they could never actually know what was in his mind. They didn’t know they were dealing with a man who routinely used lies as a tool to achieve his long-range goals.

Hitler could look anyone in the eye and lie with the utmost sincerity. He would also lie to the whole world via radio broadcasts, endlessly proclaiming his desire for peace, even his love of peace, all the while secretly preparing for another catastrophic war.
The people of Germany and many of the Reich’s top leaders had no idea of the depth of their Führer’s cynicism, but they would all find out sooner or later. For Germany’s top Army leaders that revelation came on November 5, 1937, when Hitler called a secret conference and bluntly outlined his plans to acquire Lebensraum at the expense of other nations.

The meeting was convened inside the Reich Chancellery in Berlin at 4:15 p.m. Incredibly, earlier on that same day, Hitler had met with Poland’s ambassador and signed a treaty assuring that Germany would respect Poland’s territorial rights. )

Hoping to contain Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Italy formed the Stresa Front. The Soviet Union, concerned due to Germany’s goals of capturing vast areas of eastern Europe, wrote a treaty of mutual assistance with France. Before taking effect though, the Franco-Soviet pact was required to go through the bureaucracy of the League of Nations, which rendered it essentially toothless. However, in June 1935, the United Kingdom made an independent naval agreement with Germany, easing prior restrictions. The United States, concerned with events in Europe and Asia, passed the Neutrality Act in August. In October, Italy invaded Ethiopia, with Germany the only major European nation supporting the invasion. Italy then revoked objections to Germany’s goal of absorbing Austria.

Hitler defied the Versailles and Locarno treaties by remilitarizing the Rhineland in March 1936. He received little response from other European powers. When the Spanish Civil War broke out in July, Hitler and Mussolini supported fascist Generalissimo Francisco Franco’s nationalist forces in his civil war against the Soviet-supported Spanish Republic. Both sides used the conflict to test new weapons and methods of warfare, and the nationalists won the war in early 1939. Mounting tensions led to several efforts to strengthen or consolidate power. In October 1936, Germany and Italy formed the Rome-Berlin Axis. A month later, Germany and Japan signed the Anti-Comintern Pact, which Italy would join in the following year. In China, after the Xian Incident the Kuomintang and communist forces agreed on a ceasefire in order to present a united front to oppose Japan.

In all about 73 Million people died in these conflicts.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Depression
The Great Depression was a severe worldwide economic depression in the decade preceding World War II. The timing of the Great Depression varied across nations, but in most countries it started in about 1929 and lasted until the late 1930s or early 1940s. It was the longest, most widespread, and deepest depression of the 20th century, and is used in the 21st century as an example of how far the world’s economy can decline. The depression originated in the United States, starting with the stock market crash of October 29, 1929 (known as Black Tuesday), but quickly spread to almost every country in the world.

The Great Depression had devastating effects in virtually every country, rich and poor. Personal income, tax revenue, profits and prices dropped, and international trade plunged by a half to two-thirds. Unemployment in the United States rose to 25%, and in some countries rose as high as 33%.Cities all around the world were hit hard, especially those dependent on heavy industry.

Construction was virtually halted in many countries. Farming and rural areas suffered as crop prices fell by approximately 60 percent. Facing plummeting demand with few alternate sources of jobs, areas dependent on primary sector industries such as cash cropping, mining and logging suffered the most.

Countries started to recover by the mid-1930s, but in many countries the negative effects of the Great Depression lasted until the start of World War II.

The Great Depression ended as nations increased their production of war materials at the start of World War II. (The ending of the great depression resulted in WW2.)

Last week there was the following news which you should now read in light of the preceding information.

Deutsche Welle | May 11
German Frigate to Sail Under U.S. Command

For the first time, a German frigate has been integrated into a U.S. Navy carrier group. It’s another example of a joint military operation that boosts ties or tackles problems that might be beyond one nation’s capability.

The sea today is quiet under a light, gray fog, but on the bridge of the German frigate Hessen, the loudspeaker rattles with sound of radio communications from the U.S. warships training at the Norfolk Marine Naval Station nearby.

This time, however, the Germans aren’t just observing, the Hessen, or “Warship 221” as its referred to over the radio, is training alongside the Americans. It’s an unusual mission for Lt. Stephan Tief, a navigation officer whose job is to keep the ship on course during this unusual mission, since the Hessen is under the command of the Americans.

The Hessen, one of the most modern frigates in the German Navy, will accompany the American aircraft carrier uss Harry S. Truman on its voyage beginning this month across the Atlantic to the Mediterranean and the Horn of Africa. …

A primary goal of this operation is to strengthen bilateral ties between the U.S. and Germany, which, while traditionally strong, hit a patch of rough water during the U.S.-led war in Iraq, which then-Chancellor Gerhard Schröder strongly opposed.

If you read Ezekiel 23 you will see how Israel, the ten lost tribes (The USA and UK) and Judah both whored after their lover the Assyrians whom as we have explained here many times are today called the Germans. Go and read this chapter now before you forget.

When I saw this video this week it made my heart sink. Last week we told you what Germany has now been able to do with money what the Fatherland could not do militarily in previous wars. That is take over control of Europe. Watch this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mugqD8rHSMY

You can also read how German Air forces are training on tactical maneuvers with other nations in the following articles http://www.german-foreign-policy.com/en/fulltext/56240
http://www.echoworld.com/B04/B0404/B0404Pilots.htm

In order to counteract criticism by its ISAF allies, since December 2009 the Luftwaffe participates in combat operations of the Royal Air Force in southern Afghanistan.

The first contingent of Tornado aircraft arrived at Holloman in March 1996. More than 300 German air force personnel are permanently assigned at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico to the TTC, the only unit of its kind in the United States. The German Air Force Flying Training Center activated on 31 March 1996, with German Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Portz and U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Michael Ryan present. The Luftwaffe has since stationed up to 800 personnel at Holloman for training exercises, due to limited training space in Europe.

The German army is back in action in Afghanistan, the Balkans, the Middle East and Africa and its role in past wars is being viewed with an increasingly indulgent eye among the Western nations that along with it compose NATO http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=14527 An important component of endowing Germany with a new international military role made possible by reunification and promoted by NATO is its expansion into the global arms market. Arms manufacturers have no less influence in Berlin than they do in other “free market economies,” but the profit motive alone doesn’t account for the unparalleled growth of German weapons exports around the world.

Providing arms and capturing the arms market in other countries ensures weapons interoperability and entails training and exercises for future joint actions against third parties. Instruction and drills include mock combat against the planes, ships, submarines, air defenses, ground forces and surveillance systems of potential and prospective adversaries.

The sort of arms Germany is selling in most every part of the world – tanks, submarines, warplanes – aren’t used for escort or peacekeeping missions.

Anyone not watching the developments of the past fifteen years may have been shocked to learn this past month in the annual report issued by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) that while global military spending reached $1.5 trillion in 2008, with the US accounting for almost half of the total, Germany had superseded Britain and France and become the world’s third largest weapons exporter.

German arms shipments abroad rose by 20% between 2005 and 2006 and increased by 70% in a five year period. In 2007 Berlin delivered weapons to 126 nations, almost two-thirds of those in the world. The main purchasers were Greece, Turkey and South Africa and the main export items were Leopard II tanks and 124 submarines. Small arms are not Germany’s main commodity for export.

In the words of a German think tank expert, “That makes Germany the European Union’s biggest military goods exporter, and worldwide it’s behind only the US and Russia.”

In late 2005 it was reported that Germany would add to its Luftwaffe-Israel Air Force and naval, including submarine, collaboration with Israel by forging ties between the two nations’ armies.

The head of the European Branch of the Israeli military’s Foreign Relations Branch Yigal Hakon was quoted as saying, “After 40 years of unique and very special relations between our two countries, we’ve been able to develop military-to-military cooperation in almost every area.

Last December Germany, in supplementing almost half a billion dollars in US military aid aimed at gaining control over the Lebanese armed forces after the war with Israel in 2006, announced that it “had decided to provide Lebanon with 50 Leopard tanks in addition to other equipment to enhance the army’s monitoring capabilities of Lebanon’s borders with Syria.” [20] German tanks on the Syrian border complement German warships and troops off Lebanon’s coast, also avowedly targeting Syria.

Germany is among the largest weapons providers to South Africa, another nation that could play the role of a regional and continental policeman, and in 2006 staged joint naval war games there according to a scenario designed to “defend Berlin.”
You all need to wake up and realize just how German military forces are growing worldwide under the guise o NATO, military sales and training and European defence. Read the rest of the above article at the URL given.

Triennial Torah Cycle

This weekend we have our regular Triennial Torah reading which can be found at
https://sightedmoon.com/sightedmoon_2015/files/TriennialCycleBeginningAviv.pdf

And we also have our High Day of Shavuot or Pentecost and the readings for this time can be found at https://sightedmoon.com/sightedmoon_2015/files/TriennialCycleBeginningAviv2.pdf

So let us begin our study with our reading for Shabbat and then we will follow them with the readings for the High Holy Day on Sunday or the first day of the week.

We are in the first year of this third Sabbatical cycle which began at Aviv and we are currently on week # 10 22/05/2010
Gen 10 Josh 23-24 Ps 20-22 Mat 13:24 – 14:21

Genesis 10

There is so much that I could and would love to tell you about all the information given in this one chapter. Many of you will read it and think it is just the family Genealogy.

One thing to note here is that we are given the names of 70 people who become the 70 nations of the world. During Sukkot there were special offerings made at the temple. After the regular daily offering in the Temple, the Additional Offerings were brought. Each day there was a different number of these Additional Offerings were to be brought. All together seventy oxen were to be brought in the course of the entire festival. These seventy oxen corresponded to the seventy original nations of the world who descended from the sons of Noah, and who were the ancestors of all the nations till this day. Israel brought these sacrifices as atonement for the nations of the world and in prayer for their well being as well as for universal peace and harmony between them.
Rabbi Yehoshua Ben Levi said, “If the nations of the world had known the value of the Temple for them, they would have surrounded it with fortresses in order to protect it. For it was greater value for them than for Israel….
“For My house will be called the House of Prayer for all the Nations” (Isaiah 56:7)

Israel was charged with the building and maintenance of the Temple, but it is a place of the utmost significance for all the nations. This is because the intent of all the Temple services is to bring divine blessing and sustenance to all the different branches of creation in all places on earth – on the inanimate, vegetable, animal and human levels. All these levels were represented in the Temple services through the salt (Leviticus 2:13, inanimate level), offerings of grain, wine, oil and first fruits (vegetable level), the animal and bird sacrifices (animal level) and the priests and Levites conducting the services (human level). During the Festival of Succot, a total of 70 oxen were offered in the Temple on behalf of the 70 nations of the world (Numbers 29:13-32).

We must also note verse 8-9 about Nimrod. Although not much is written here there is just gobs of information to learn from this which explains so many of the things and reasons for things being as they right now in our day. There is so much in fact I am not sure where to start.

Because we have a lot of other subjects to address this week I urge each and every one of you to read the Book by Alexander Hislop The two Babylon’s which can be read on line for free at http://www.biblebelievers.com/babylon/00index.htm or better yet you need to buy a copy of your own. This book will explain every religion and why they do as they do and how it all started right here with Nimrod. We have also been explaining in the Prophecies of Abraham how many of the things that happened with Babylon and with Egypt are precursors and prophetic to what is about to happen in our own day. Yes if you want to understand prophecy you need ot understand Nimrods place at the beginning of it. The bible just does not tell you enough.

The other verse I wanted to point out to you was the son of Eber the Hebrew whose name was Peleg. Peleg was born 1787 years after the creation of Adam and he dies in the year 1996 years after the creation of Adam. 25 And to ?b?er were born two sons, the name of one was Peleg?, for in his days the earth was divided, and his brother’s name was Yoqtan.

In Chapter 11 we get the number of years Peleg lived. 15 And after he brought forth ?b?er, Shelah? lived four hundred and three years, and brought forth sons and daughters. 16 And ?b?er lived thirty-four years, and brought forth Peleg?. 17 And after he brought forth Peleg?, ?b?er lived four hundred and thirty years, and brought forth sons and daughters. 18 And Peleg? lived thirty years, and brought forth Re?u.

And when we plot them out in the Chronology as we do in the Book The Prophecies of Abrham we can see that Peleg dies before Lot was taken captive along with Sodom in 2027 AC which was 13 years after the time when the languages were confused which you can read about in Seder Olam by Rabbi Yose.

So what we are reading is that during the time of Peleg the earth was divided, and not the languages as some are saying. Chronology proves this point out.

Josh 23-24

As we draw to a close the book of Joshua we are once again warned by the patriarch not to depart from obeying Yahovah, especially after seeing all that He has done for them in the crossing of the Red Sea and in destroying all these mighty nations before Israel.
And if they do go and marry these other nations and if they do go and begin to serve these other gods, then for sure Yahovah is going to do them harm after having done them so much good.

This is what many today have a great deal of trouble understanding. They think they are saved by grace and are at liberty to continue to disobey at will. But very soon as the Prophecies of Abraham and the Sabbatical and Jubilee Chronology show us, they will be required to pay the price for their sins. The payment begins during this current 7 year Sabbatical cycle and accelerates during the next two.

This was done in Shechem and Joshua rolled a large stone up to a large oak tree by where the sanctuary stood. This is another thing to look for when I go back to Israel.

Ps 20-22

We are told in Psalm 20 how Yahovah will defend us in our time of trouble. We are told that even though others trust in chariots or horses, they have fallen and we will remember the name of Yahovah and we shall stand.

When we get to psalm 22 that our eyes are opened and we recognize many things written here that are spoken of in the crucifixion of Yahshua. We are also told of other things that were taking place at this same time which many of us with unconverted mates can readily identify with. I do hope each of you are reading these torah portions as we go. There is such a wealth of information with each one. You have no need for my comments here; it is very self explanatory. It is without a doubt describing the death of Yahshua written by David about 1000 years before hand.

Mat 13:24 – 14:21

This week we are looking at the parable of the wheat and tares. While out with Nehemiah Gordon this past Passover we showed you in the video he made the difference between the tares and the wheat and how from a distance they both look alike. We were even fooled on a couple of occasions until we actually got right into the field.

This parable of the wheat and tares is really a synopsis of what we are shown in the book of revelation which itself is based on prophecies from the Tenach . You either belong to Yahovah`s Kingdom or you belong to Satan’s Kingdom but both dwell together until the tares are gathered up and burnt. But even those in Satan’s kingdom serve Yahovah’s will.

This forces us all to search out the truth on each and every matter and not to be just a follower because of what a person says. You must be able to prove it and then once you do you can teach others because you can show them from your own bible. You must be able to prove it because just like the two goats on the day of Atonement you will nt be able to decide which is the Azazell goat and which is the one to be sacrificed. Only Yahovah knows because they both look alike to us. So we must search. Just as the tares and the wheat look alike from the distance, it is not until we examine them up close do we see the fakes for what they are. So study brethren, and never stop.

While we are here in Mathew let’s look at the mustard seed because some of you are holding back in the work you could be doing because you think you are not enough or not worthy enough to step up to the plate.

We have the example of Gideon who claimed his family was poor and that he himself was the least in his own family. Yet Yahovah choose this the least of all the clans to perform a mighty act and with just a few men and route the enemy. An impossible task if you are to think about it before hand.

In 2 Kings 5 we are told of a young maid who was brave enough to speak up and because she did that Naaman went and was healed of his leprosy and he and his family became worshipers of Yahovah.

Another example of a mustard seed was the young boy who had just five barley loaves two small fish, yet Yahshua used this to feed five thousand people. The people ate as much as they wanted, and there is more. There were 12 baskets of left overs.

We also are told in Proverbs 30:24-28 24 There are four matters Which are little on the earth, But they are exceedingly wise: 25 The ants are a people not strong, Yet they prepare their food in the summer; 26 The rock badgers are a weak folk, Yet they make their homes in the crags; 27 The locusts have no sovereign, Yet they all go out in formation; 28 A spider takes hold with two hands, And is in sovereigns’ palaces.

The moral here brethren is this. No matter how little or insignificant you may think you are, no matter how great the odds against you seem, as we have read in Psalms with Yahovah on our side there is nothing you can’t perform if you are doing in His name. So while we still can speak out and tell as many as you can what you know about what is coming; warn your family and friends and keep telling them. Who knows what will become of the little things you did which could in fact be monumental but we will never know if you do not step up to the plate and swing as hard as you can with what you have.

In Mathew 13:55 we read how the people were saying who is this man. Is it not the carpenters son? I ask you why did they not now Him? If a child spends all its time around the neighbourhood surely you know who it is. They ask this because Yahshua did not grow up in the neighbourhood. He may have come for a visit once in awhile, but from the age of 12 until the age of 30 Yahshua spent much of His time traveling with uncle Joseph of Arimathea.

This is one of the very popular articles I had published about Joseph of Arimathea at https://sightedmoon.com/sightedmoon_2015/?page_id=192

I find the final part of our reading this week very sad. Yahshua’s cousin John was beheaded in prison at the whim of a woman. When Yahshua hears it He goes off to be alone and the crowds still followed Him. Even in His state of mourning Yahshua could see that the people wanted to learn but they had no shepherds. We have already spoken of the small things that were turned into great things.

Brethren I meet so many who look to be taught but cannot find anyone to teach them. It is time for each of you to begin to teach. Teach what you know, and learn as you teach. But search the scriptures for the truth and know the responsibility you carry to guard the Torah.

Now matter how insignificant you think you are, you can make a difference to someone. If you do not do it now while we can, know for sure that you will not be able to do in 7 years time when you will be killed for doing this and there will also be a war going on. So now is the time to share this message.

Shavuot Feast of Weeks

Ex 19-20 This is so important I am going to quote it here.

1 In the third month after the children of Yisra’?l had come out of the land of Mitsrayim, on this day they came to the Wilderness of Sinai. 2 For they set out from Rephid?im, and had come to the Wilderness of Sinai, and camped in the wilderness. So Yisra’?l camped there before the mountain. 3 And Mosheh went up to Elohim, and ???? called to him from the mountain, saying, “This is what you are to say to the house of Ya?aqob?, and declare to the children of Yisra’?l: 4 ‘You have seen what I did to the Mitsrites, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. 5 ‘And now, if you diligently obey My voice, and shall guard My covenant, then you shall be My treasured possession above all the peoples – for all the earth is Mine – 6 ‘and you shall be to Me a reign of priests and a set-apart nation.’ Those are the words which you are to speak to the children of Yisra’?l.” 7 And Mosheh came and called for the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which ???? commanded him. 8 And all the people answered together and said, “All that ???? has spoken we shall do.” So Mosheh brought back the words of the people to ????. 9 And ???? said to Mosheh, “See, I am coming to you in the thick cloud, so that the people hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever.” And Mosheh reported the words of the people to ????. 10 And ???? said to Mosheh, “Go to the people and set them apart today and tomorrow. And they shall wash their garments, 11 and shall be prepared by the third day. For on the third day ???? shall come down upon Mount Sinai before the eyes of all the people. 12 “And you shall make a border for the people all around, saying, ‘Take heed to yourselves that you do not go up to the mountain or touch the border of it. Whoever touches the mountain shall certainly be put to death. 13 ‘Not a hand is to touch it, but he shall certainly be stoned or shot with an arrow, whether man or beast, he shall not live.’ When the trumpet sounds long, let them come near the mountain.” 14 And Mosheh came down from the mountain to the people and set the people apart, and they washed their garments. 15 And he said to the people, “Be prepared by the third day. Do not come near a wife.” 16 And it came to be, on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain. And the sound of the ram’s horn was very loud, and all the people who were in the camp trembled. 17 And Mosheh brought the people out of the camp to meet with Elohim, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. 18 And Mount Sinai was in smoke, all of it, because ???? descended upon it in fire. And its smoke went up like the smoke of a furnace, and all the mountain trembled exceedingly. 19 And when the blast of the ram’s horn sounded long and became louder and louder, Mosheh spoke, and Elohim answered him by voice. 20 And ???? came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And ???? called Mosheh to the top of the mountain, and Mosheh went up. 21 And ???? said to Mosheh, “Go down, and warn the people, lest they break through unto ???? to see, and many of them fall. 22 “And let the priests who come near ???? set themselves apart too, lest ???? break out against them.” 23 And Mosheh said to ????, “The people are not able to come up to Mount Sinai, for You warned us, saying, ‘Make a border around the mountain and set it apart.’ ” 24 And ???? said to him, “Come, go down and then come up, you and Aharon with you. But do not let the priests and the people break through to come up to ????, lest He break out against them.” 25 And Mosheh went down to the people and spoke to them.

Take special note of– Those are the words which you are to speak to the children of Yisra’?l.” 7 And Mosheh came and called for the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which ???? commanded him. 8 And all the people answered together and said, “All that ???? has spoken we shall do.” So Mosheh brought back the words of the people to ????. 9 And ???? said to Mosheh, “See, I am coming to you in the thick cloud, so that the people hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever.”

The people agreed to the commands of Yahovah after seeing all that He had done for them. Yahovah said that what He was about to do they would never forget.

2 Million plus people saw the smoke and fire on the mountain and two million plus people heard the voice of Yahovah speak to them.

1 And Elohim spoke all these Words, saying, 2 “I am ???? your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of slavery. 3 “You have no other mighty ones against My face. 4 “You do not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of that which is in the heavens above, or which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the waters under the earth, 5 you do not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, ???? your Elohim am a jealous ?l, visiting the crookedness of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and guard My commands. 7 “You do not bring1 the Name of ???? your Elohim to naught, for ???? does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught. Footnote: 1Or lift up, or take. 8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart. 9 “Six days you labour, and shall do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath1 of ???? your Elohim. You do not do any work – you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. Footnote: 1There are other Sabbaths, but this is the weekly Sabbath. 11 “For in six days ???? made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore ???? blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart. 12 “Respect your father and your mother, so that your days are prolonged upon the soil which ???? your Elohim is giving you. 13 “You do not murder. 14 “You do not commit adultery. 15 “You do not steal. 16 “You do not bear false witness against your neighbour. 17 “You do not covet your neighbour’s house, you do not covet your neighbour’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, or whatever belongs to your neighbour.” 18 And all the people saw the thunders, the lightning flashes, the sound of the ram’s horn, and the mountain smoking. And the people saw it, and they trembled and stood at a distance, 19 and said to Mosheh, “You speak with us and we hear, but let not Elohim speak with us, lest we die.” 20 And Mosheh said to the people, “Do not fear, for Elohim has come to prove you, and in order that His fear be before you, so that you do not sin.” 21 So the people stood at a distance, but Mosheh drew near the thick darkness where Elohim was. 22 And ???? said to Mosheh, “Say this to the children of Yisra’?l: ‘You yourselves have seen that I have spoken to you from the heavens. 23 ‘You do not make besides Me mighty ones of silver, and you do not make mighty ones of gold for yourselves. 24 ‘Make an altar of earth for Me, and you shall slaughter on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your cattle. In every place where I cause My Name to be remembered I shall come to you and bless you. 25 ‘And if you make Me an altar of stone, do not build it of cut stone, for if you use your chisel on it, you have profaned it. 26 ‘Nor do you go up by steps to My altar, lest your nakedness be exposed on it.’

It was on this day of Pentecost that Yahovah came down in front of 2 million plus people and spoke in such a way that they all heard His powerful voice. Yahovah gave them the ten commandments at this time.

Again here in verse 20 we are told that we are to fear Yahovah and that He will test us.
20 And Mosheh said to the people, “Do not fear, for Elohim has come to prove you, and in order that His fear be before you, so that you do not sin.”

The test commandment is the Sabbath. It is also the Holy Days. It is also the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. Have you been passing the tests?

Num 28:26-3126 ‘And on the day of the first-fruits, when you bring a new grain offering to ???? at your Festival of Weeks, you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work. 27 ‘And you shall bring near a burnt offering as a sweet fragrance to ????: two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs a year old, 28 with their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ?phah for each bull, two-tenths for the one ram, 29 one-tenth for each of the seven lambs, 30 one male goat to make atonement for you, 31 perfect ones they are for you. Prepare them with their drink offerings, besides the continual burnt offering with its grain offering.

Take special notice of what is told to us in Lev 23. It is the day after the seventh Sabbath. Not a few days after the seventh Sabbath but the very next day. And because the Sabbath is always Saturday then the day after will always be Sunday.

Lev 23:16-22 16 ‘Until the morrow after the seventh Sabbath you count fifty days, then you shall bring a new grain offering to ????. 17 ‘Bring from your dwellings for a wave offering two loaves of bread, of two-tenths of an ?phah of fine flour they are, baked with leaven, first-fruits to ????. 18 ‘And besides the bread, you shall bring seven lambs a year old, perfect ones, and one young bull and two rams. They are a burnt offering to ????, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, an offering made by fire for a sweet fragrance to ????. 19 ‘And you shall offer one male goat as a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old, as a peace offering. 20 ‘And the priest shall wave them, besides the bread of the first-fruits, as a wave offering before ????, besides the two lambs. They are set-apart to ???? for the priest. 21 ‘And on this same day you shall proclaim a set-apart gathering for yourselves, you do no servile work on it – a law forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations. 22 ‘And when you reap the harvest of your land do not completely reap the corners of your field when you reap, and do not gather any gleaning from your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the stranger. I am ???? your Elohim.’ ”

Ruth 1-2

Why should we read the book of Ruth at this time?
There are various reasons for reading this Scroll on Shavuot:
– Megillat Ruth tells the story of a tiller of the soil in Eretz Israel, a man who sows and gives “leket” (the poor man’s share of the crop), who reaps and sleeps in barns.

Shavuot is the festival of the farmer.

– The story of Ruth occurred between the barley harvest and the wheat harvest, namely during the reaping period. Thus it is fitting that the Megillah be read on the Festival of Reaping.

According to tradition, King David died on Shavuot, and the Megillah tells of the beginning of the Davidian dynasty (Ruth was the mother of King David,s grandfather). Thus on Shavuot it is also customary to visit King David’s tomb on Mount Zion in Jerusalem.
Our Sages explain that the Israelites received the Torah on Shavuot and Ruth converted and accepted the Israelite religion during the harvest period.

It is appropriate, therefore, to read the book of Ruth on this festival.

Acts 2

1 And when the Day of the Festival of Weeks had come, they were all with one mind in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from the heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and settled on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Set-apart Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them to speak. 5 Now in Yerushalayim there were dwelling Yehud?im, dedicated men from every nation under the heaven. 6 And when this sound came to be, the crowd came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying to each other, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? 8 “And how do we hear, each one in our own language in which we were born? 9 “Parthians and Medes and ?ylamites, and those dwelling in Aram Naharayim, both Yehud?ah and Kappadokia, Pontos and Asia, 10 both Phrygia and Pamphulia, Mitsrayim and the parts of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Yehud?im and converts, 11 “Cretans and Arab?s, we hear them speaking in our own tongues the great deeds of Elohim.” 12 And they were all amazed, and were puzzled, saying to each other, “What does this mean?” 13 And others mocking said, “They have been filled with sweet wine.” 14 But K?pha, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice and said to them, “Men of Yehud?ah and all those dwelling in Yerushalayim, let this be known to you, and listen closely to my words. 15 “For these men are not drunk, as you imagine, since it is only the third hour of the day. 16 “But this is what was spoken by the prophet Yo’?l: 17 ‘And it shall be in the last days, says Elohim, that I shall pour out of My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams, 18 and also on My male servants and on My female servants I shall pour out My Spirit in those days, and they shall prophesy. 19 ‘And I shall show wonders in the heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapour of smoke. 20 ‘The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and splendid day of ????. 21 ‘And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of ???? shall be saved.’1 Footnote: 1Joel 2:28-32, Rom. 10:13. 22 “Men of Yisra’?l, hear these words: ????? of Natsareth, a Man from Elohim, having been pointed out to you by mighty works, and wonders, and signs which Elohim did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know, 23 this One, given up by the set purpose and foreknowledge of Elohim, you have impaled and put to death through the hands of lawless men – 24 “Him Elohim raised up, having loosed the pangs of death, because it was impossible that He could be held in its grip. 25 “For Dawid? says concerning Him, ‘I saw ???? before me continually, because He is at my right hand, in order that I should not be shaken. 26 ‘For this reason my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad, and now my flesh shall also rest in expectation, 27 because You shall not leave my being in the grave, nor shall You give Your Kind One to see corruption. 28 ‘You have made known to me the ways of life, You shall fill me with joy in Your presence.’1 Footnote: 1Ps. 16:8-11. 29 “Men and brothers, let me speak boldly to you of the ancestor Dawid?, that he died and was buried,1 and his tomb is with us to this day. Footnote: 1See v. 34. 30 “Being a prophet, then, and knowing that Elohim had sworn with an oath to him: of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, to raise up the Messiah to sit on his throne, 31 foreseeing this he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Messiah, that His being was neither left in the grave, nor did His flesh see corruption. 32 “Elohim has raised up this ?????, of which we are all witnesses. 33 “Therefore, having been exalted to the right hand of Elohim, and having received from the Father the promise of the Set-apart Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. 34 “For Dawid? did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself said, ‘???? said to my Master, “Sit at My right hand, 35 until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.” ’1 Footnote: 1Ps. 110:1. 36 “Therefore let all the house of Yisra’?l know for certain that Elohim has made this ?????, whom you impaled, both Master and Messiah.” 37 And having heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to K?pha and the rest of the emissaries, “Men, brothers, what shall we do?” 38 And K?pha said to them, “Repent, and let each one of you be immersed in the Name of ????? Messiah for the forgiveness of sins.1 And you shall receive the gift of the Set-apart Spirit. Footnote: 1See 2:40, 3:19, 3:26. 39 “For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, as many as ???? our Elohim shall call.” 40 And with many other words he earnestly witnessed and urged them, saying, “Be saved from this crooked generation.”1 Footnote: 1Jer. 51:6, Phil. 2:15, Rev. 18:4. 41 Then those, indeed, who gladly received his word, were immersed. And on that day about three thousand beings were added to them. 42 And they were continuing steadfastly in the teaching of the emissaries, and in the fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers. 43 And fear came upon every being, and many wonders and signs were being done through the emissaries. 44 And all those who believed were together, and had all in common, 45 and sold their possessions and property, and divided them among all, as anyone might have need. 46 And day by day, continuing with one mind in the Set-apart Place, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising Elohim and having favour with all the people. And the Master added to the assembly those who were being saved, day by day.

Brethren the Feast of Shavuot is the day the ten Commandments was given to Israel and the world whom Israel was to teach these things to. On this day the Holy Spirit was given and poured out on the very same day. This is a special Feast day.

I would also like to point one last thing before I say Shalom. The Feast of Weeks is what Shavuot is called as we have just read in Acts 1. It is called the feast of weeks because there are 7 weeks and a total of 49 days in this time period. What you are about to read is found in chapter 3 of The Prophecies of Abraham without being edited. It is most apropiate for you to read this now when your mind is already thinking about the Feast of Weeks.

Isn’t this strange. Here were are reading about the Book of Ruth and law number 65 tells us we are not to marry a mamzer, that is one who by birth comes from an illegitimate relationship. And this why we see in the very next verse and the next law #66 the mention of Ammon and Moab who are born to Lot by relations with His daughters.

A mamzer shall not marry the daughter of a Jew. “One of illegitimate birth shall not enter the assembly of Yahweh; even to the tenth generation none of his descendants shall enter the assembly of Yahweh.” (Deuteronomy 23:2) As we shall see in the next section (“Forbidden Sexual Relations”), a man may not marry certain close blood relatives, the ex-wives of certain close blood relatives, a woman who has not been validly divorced from her previous husband, the daughter or sister of his ex-wife, etc. The progeny of such forbidden relationships are known as mamzerim—those of “illegitimate birth.” The Talmud, strangely enough, does not include people merely born out of wedlock in this technically “illegitimate” group, but only the children of these specifically forbidden relationships. The Torah doesn’t elaborate. Strong’s defines the Hebrew word for “one of illegitimate birth” (mamzer) as being derived from the root word for “to alienate; a mongrel, that is, born of a Jewish father and a heathen mother—a bastard,” so apparently we have a difference of opinion as to precisely what a mamzer was.

As in the case of eunuchs (see #64), Yahweh is not arbitrarily condemning a group of people who had no control over their familial situation. Rather, He is instituting a symbol, a picture, of the necessary state of being set apart for Yahweh’s use. “Bastards” in this context represent the fruit, or result, of sin. The metaphor demonstrates that the ends do not justify the means in God’s economy—the “Assembly of Yahweh” cannot be populated through corrupt methods or impure motives, but only through a “legitimate” relationship with Yahweh. Thus when Constantine’s Council of Nicaea (325 A.D.) de facto “converted” all of the Roman Empire to “Christianity,” it was a pointless and counterproductive tactic. When you baptize a pagan, all you get is a wet pagan.

66. That an Ammonite or Moabite shall never marry the daughter of an Israelite (Deut. 23:4) (negative). (note this Deut 23:3. Always check your sources)

“An Ammonite or Mo’ab?ite does not enter the assembly of ????, even a tenth generation of them does not ever enter the assembly of ????, 4 because they did not meet you with bread and water on the way when you came out of Mitsrayim, and because they hired against you Bil?am son of Be?or from Pethor of Aram Naharayim, to curse you.

An Ammonite or Moabite shall never marry the daughter of an Israelite. “An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter the assembly of Yahweh; even to the tenth generation none of his descendants shall enter the assembly of Yahweh forever, because they did not meet you with bread and water on the road when you came out of Egypt, and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse you. Nevertheless Yahweh your God would not listen to Balaam, but Yahweh your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because Yahweh your God loves you. You shall not seek their peace nor their prosperity all your days forever.” (Deuteronomy 23:3-6) Once again, we see the rabbis equating “entering the assembly of Yahweh” with marriage to a Jew. If it wasn’t clear before, it should be now: marriage has next to nothing to do with what He was really trying to help us understand. Here, I believe, the metaphor is a warning against compromise and accommodation with unbelievers—even if they’re our neighbors or relatives—if those unbelievers are actively attempting to lead us astray.

Moab and Ammon (bordering Israel’s Promised Land on the east) were the descendants of Lot, Abraham’s nephew. But by the time of the exodus, they had become so thoroughly pagan that their hostility to Yahweh’s people was guaranteed. The “Balaam episode” (Numbers 22-25) became the universal Biblical metaphor for false teaching leading to destruction (cf. Revelation 2:14). So here God tells His people not to have anything to do with them—do not allow their religion, their culture, their political presence, their commerce, and yes, even their bloodline, to have any part in the life of Israel—ever. (In an ironic twist that proves that the underlying symbol outweighs the plain reading of the mitzvah, Yahweh arranged for a godly Moabite woman, Ruth, to show up in the Messiah’s family tree—she was the great grandmother of King David. In Ruth’s case, of course, it was clear that she had turned her back on Moab and its gods in favor of Israel and Yahweh—Ruth 1:16) God’s instruction is to maintain our holiness, our separation from the world’s influence. As usual, Yahweh’s clear intention goes far beyond the face value of the mitzvah.

67. Not to exclude a descendant of Esau from the community of Israel for three generations (Deut. 23:8-9) (negative).

7 “Do not loathe an Ed?omite, for he is your brother. Do not loathe a Mitsrite, because you were a stranger in his land. 8 “The children of the third generation born to them do enter the assembly of ????.

Do not exclude a descendant of Esau from the community of Israel for three generations. “You shall not abhor an Edomite, for he is your brother…. The children of the third generation born to them may enter the assembly of Yahweh.” (Deuteronomy 23:7-8) The devil, they say, is in the details. Edom, the descendants of Esau (brother of Jacob/Israel) had also become implacable enemies of Yahweh’s people by the time of the exodus, refusing to allow the Israelites to cross their land (Numbers 20:18-21). So why does the Torah cut them so much slack? Yes, Israel was instructed to be wary of them, but after three generations of cohabitation with Jews, Edomites who worshipped Yahweh (unlike Moabites or Ammonites) could be admitted to “the assembly of Yahweh.” What’s the difference? It all goes back to Balaam: the Edomites as a nation may have been generally hostile to the Jews, but they never attempted to seduce them away from Yahweh. Remember what I said (#3) about trivializing Yahweh’s name versus blaspheming it—qalal vs. naqab? The same distinction appears here: bad behavior is one thing; false teaching is infinitely worse in Yahweh’s estimation. It’s worth noting that in the end, Edom will be utterly wiped out because of its sins (Jeremiah 49:10). But between Moses and Judgment Day, Yahweh always left the door of repentance open to them.

68. Not to exclude an Egyptian from the community of Israel for three generations (Deut. 23:8-9) (negative).

7 “Do not loathe an Ed?omite, for he is your brother. Do not loathe a Mitsrite, because you were a stranger in his land. 8 “The children of the third generation born to them do enter the assembly of ????.

Do not exclude an Egyptian from the community of Israel for three generations. “You shall not abhor an Egyptian, because you were an alien in his land. The children of the third generation born to them may enter the assembly of Yahweh.” (Deuteronomy 23:7-8) Same song, second verse. Unlike Moab and Ammon, Egypt’s crimes against Israel and its God were not those of false teaching and seduction, but rather of lost men behaving badly—something that’s (let’s face it) inevitable for lost men. So Yahweh offered to consider their repentance (though there’s no evidence that they ever did, at least on the national level). Egypt is a common scriptural metaphor for the world: not particularly good or bad, just there—a place of routine, mediocrity, malaise, and finally slavery. It’s the place we must leave in order to enter the “Promised Land” of Yahweh’s salvation. Unlike Edom, a remnant of Egypt will “make it” into the Millennium (see Isaiah 19:23-24), serving Yahweh with Israel at her side. The children of Egypt’s third generation (following paganism and Islam) will indeed “enter the assembly of Yahweh.”

69. That there shall be no harlot (in Israel); that is, that there shall be no intercourse with a woman, without previous marriage with a deed of marriage and formal declaration of marriage (Deut. 23:18) (CCN133). See Marriage.

17 “None of the daughters of Yisra’?l is to be a cult prostitute, nor any of the sons of Yisra’?l be a cult prostitute. 18 “Do not bring the gift of a whore or the pay of a dog to the House of ???? your Elohim for any vowed offering, for both of these are an abomination to ???? your Elohim.

There shall be no harlot in Israel; that is, there shall be no intercourse with a woman without a formal declaration of marriage. “There shall be no ritual harlot of the daughters of Israel, or a perverted one of the sons of Israel. You shall not bring the wages of a harlot or the price of a dog to the house of Yahweh your God for any vowed offering, for both of these are an abomination to Yahweh your God.” (Deuteronomy 23:17-18) The rabbis have missed the point entirely (although what they prescribed is no doubt a fine thing). By making us the way He did—males and females designed to mate for life and produce offspring as a by product of our love for each other—Yahweh is showing us something wonderful about the spiritual pattern He has designed for us. He pictures Israel as His wife and He is her “husband.” The essence of our marital faithfulness is monogamy—restricting our sexual contact to one partner. This is a picture of our faithfulness to Yahweh. We are not to “cheat” on Him by giving our affections to false gods—even stealthy idols like wealth, pleasure, or pride.

There is, however, a more prosaic application of this mitzvah. When Moses wrote these words, the Canaanites whom Israel was to displace practiced a licentious religion that included temple prostitution—both male and female—as part of its rites. Thus if an Israelite (either male or female—the passage specifies both) were to become a purveyor of pagan worship by becoming a ritual prostitute, it would be the antithesis of faithfulness to Yahweh—an abomination. As we have seen before and will see again, this is simply a call to holiness—being set apart as Yahweh’s people.
The Deuteronomy passage also makes another point: a harlot’s wages weren’t acceptable as offerings before Yahweh. In other words, the ends do not justify the means. We are called to holiness in ministry, not productivity, efficiency, or success. God does not need venture capital from Satan.

70. To take a wife by kiddushin, the sacrament of marriage (Deut. 24:1) (CCA44). See The Process of Marriage: Kiddushin and Nisuin.

1 “When a man takes a wife and shall marry her, then it shall be, if she finds no favour in his eyes because he has found a matter of uncoveredness in her, and he shall write her a certificate of divorce, and put it in her hand, and send her out of his house,

Take a wife by kiddushin, the sacrament of marriage. “When a man takes a wife and marries her, and it happens that she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some uncleanness in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce, puts it in her hand, and sends her out of his house, when she has departed from his house, and goes and becomes another man’s wife, if the latter husband detests her and writes her a certificate of divorce, puts it in her hand, and sends her out of his house, or if the latter husband dies who took her as his wife, then her former husband who divorced her must not take her back to be his wife after she has been defiled; for that is an abomination before Yahweh, and you shall not bring sin on the land which Yahweh your God is giving you as an inheritance.” (Deuteronomy 24:1-4) God gave us lots of information on whom to marry, but He had precious little to say about how. In Jewish tradition, marriage is a two step process. Kiddushin, or betrothal, is in effect from the time the bride accepts a bridal contract, money, or even sexual relations from the groom. It is far more binding than our modern “engagement,” and can only be dissolved by death or formal divorce. The final step to full-blown “marriage,” called nisuin, is achieved when the bride moves in with the groom. There is nothing at all wrong with this system, but the scripture the rabbis use to support it has nothing to do with the marriage/wedding process. As a matter of fact, Yahweh never actually specified a particular wedding formula (except for the obvious—one man and one woman sharing a life together—becoming “one flesh”). The Deuteronomy passage is, rather, a discussion about divorce and an admonition against certain abuses of the practice (which we’ll cover shortly).

At first glance, Yahweh seems resigned to, even comfortable with, the fact of divorce here, but how does He really feel? “You cover the altar of Yahweh with tears, with weeping and crying; so He does not regard the offering anymore, nor receive it with goodwill from your hands. Yet you say, ‘For what reason?’ Because Yahweh has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, with whom you have dealt treacherously; yet she is your companion and your wife by covenant. But did He not make them one, having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth. For Yahweh, the God of Israel, says that He hates divorce, for it covers one’s garment with violence, says Yahweh of hosts. Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.” (Malachi 2:13-16) Marriage is a picture of our relationship with Yahweh. So breaking our marriage vows is like betraying our God—it tears down a relationship that was meant to endure for life. Yahweh is merciful and forgiving, but we can’t destroy what He has built and expect Him to be happy about it.

71. That the newly married husband shall (be free) for one year to rejoice with his wife (Deut. 24:5) (affirmative).

5 “When a man has taken a new wife, let him not go out into the army nor let any matter be imposed upon him. He shall be exempt one year for the sake of his home, to rejoice with his wife whom he has taken.
The newly married husband shall be free for one year to rejoice with his wife. “When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war or be charged with any business; he shall be free at home one year, and bring happiness to his wife whom he has taken.” (Deuteronomy 24:5) Boy, does our Maker know us or what? Here Yahweh honors the institution of the honeymoon, that magical time when the bride and groom can’t get enough of each other. The newlywed husband is not to be separated from His bride for a whole year—there will be no military service or other duties that would put distance or stress between the happy couple. This doesn’t mean that the husband can’t go to work to support his family for a whole year, only that he won’t be separated from his bride during that time. Only when they have become thoroughly familiar with each other, when they have had ample time to explore every nook and cranny of each other’s personalities, psyches, and anatomies, does God say, “Okay, now you two could use a little space.”
