Passover 2010 Being Meeked and The Serpent in the Garden

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shalom Shalom and Chag Hamatzot, Brethren from Israel.

I saw the following in the news this week.
http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/afp/100331/world/china_environment_climate_drought_agriculture

China drought leaves 24 million short of drinking water
BEIJING (AFP) – China said Wednesday that more than 24 million people were short of drinking water because of a crippling drought, the worst to hit the country in a century.

We have now found a room for the remainder of our stay here. And many of you have forwarded me rooms that are available and some have even opened up their homes to us who live here in the land. I am so grateful for the thoughtfulness of many of you. The convent had a cancelation and two brothers moved in with me and we all were able to stay on the Mount of Olives for the remainder of our time.

With this week lining up to be exactly the same type of week as when Yeshua was killed, that is the 14th is on Wednesday and the first High Holy day of Unleavened Bread is on Thursday and the weekly Preparation day is Friday and then Shabbat when Yeshua rose from the grave at the end of Shabbat, it is even more special being here not just at this time but in this place. This week I have been able to pray in the very same garden on the Mount as Yeshua did. I have been able to sit and watch the movie the Passion and then walk out and see exactly where He was hung on the tree. This is also the place where Abraham offered Isaac. This is also the place where David wrote his psalms describing this event. And to be able to sit here and read this and ponder on it is the most moving event I can think of.

On Nisan 14, which began on Tuesday evening when I went out to the Garden to pray the moon is full and shining through the 100 foot tall Junipers. The trees give off a strange shadow in the evening and you can smell at this time the Orange and grapefruit and lemon blossoms; During the day time the grounds are covered with tiny yellow daisy like flowers which close up in the hot afternoons. Every so often there are small red poppy like flower splashed amongst the yellow ones. There is barley scattered all around the grounds with some of it Aviv and others almost Aviv.

When you pray at the front of Golgotha which is what this place is called, you can hear the city and sirens and other noises. This is the exact spot where Yeshua was murdered. But when you walk just a few dozen yards back to the garden the city noises disappear and the breeze through the trees and the silence of this most special and beautiful place takes your breath away. Here is where grown men cry like a baby when they have to leave and as I well when I leave at the end of this week.

As I pray here I can only imagine how Yeshua felt. As I pray my roommates sleep and I can see why this would be so. Just walking around Jerusalem is exhausting with the hills. The day I am writing this I took a group teenagers to Hell and showed them how hard it was to come out of hell. I also showed them the Temple and the Al Aqsa mosque and all the secrets and mistruths that are there. These teens are now excited to read the bible because it is now real to them and because of them and their new found love for the scriptures, my heart sings.

On Tuesday I went with Nehemiah Gordon and we searched for the Barley to see what state it is in now just before Passover. I am so grateful to him and Shoshannah for sharing their day with me and letting me come along. We found barley by the fields full ready and Aviv. We also found fields where the barley had already reseeded itself. If you were to wait as some new groups now claim then by the time they keep Passover next month then a lot of barley will already be reseeded and the farmer will have missed the narrow opportunity to harvest it because you cannot harvest it until you first make the wave sheaf offering which is on the morrow after the weekly Sabbath and is Sunday. This Sunday April 4th, 2010. Make sure you watch the videos.

Harvest-Ripe Barley in the Jordan Valley

This morning (Mar 30, 2010) I did a follow-up of the barley in the Jordan Valley that was Aviv on March 17. The barley in two fields, south of Nakhal Milkha and just north of the Israeli army checkpoint, was completely harvest-ripe. This means the barley harvest could officially begin this coming Sunday, the morrow after the Sabbath during the Feast of Unleavened Bread as per Deuteronomy 16:9. In Temple times, the first Omer (sheaf) of this harvest would be brought as the wave-sheaf offering commanded in Leviticus 23:10. A video of the field of 6-row planted barley south of Nakhal Milkha is posted at:

This confirms that the Chag HaMatzot (Feast of Unleavened Bread) will begin at sunset tomorrow night, March 31, 2010.

A video showing the difference between barley and “tares” is posted at:

My thanks to Shoshanah Waterman and Joe Dumond for participating in this follow-up barley examination.

Nehemia Gordon
Jerusalem, Israel

This past Sunday many Christians here went out and did the Palm Sunday march. This year was the first time they had it at the right time, which is four days before the crucifixion on the tenth day of the month.

Last night the 14th began according to the Sighted moon schedule which is from the evening of March 30 to the 31st; the moon was a brilliant yellowish white and as I re-enacted what Yeshua did, I noted that it is also cool just as we read in John. We read from John 12 to 19 as well as Luke 22 and some of Mathew 26. After this we watched half of the Movie The Ten Commandments until well after midnight.

It was during this night that Yeshua was arrested and dragged before the various rulers until finally He was nailed to the piece of wood which went across from hand to hand and was hoisted into the Almond tree, where His feet were then nailed to through his Achilles heel, just like a deer.

This Wednesday morning at Nine o’clock when I was in the garden again, thinking of these things, I could hear the construction crews hammering on some wood and I listened to the nails being hammered in and reflected back to when Yeshua was in this very place and the same sounds of nails being hammered into his hands was then heard.

A group of us has gathered here on this mount again at three o’clock when Yeshua died and I pointed out what Joseph of Arimathea did and why he had to go in haste because any one hung on a tree was accursed and the accursed thing is first stoned to death and then burned. You can read this in Joshua about the incident of Achan. Yeshua was now dead but the other two men were not. If Joseph did not hurry then Yeshua would be burned up along with the other men and the tree that they hung on.

We then walked back to the grave where Yeshua was buried and we were silent as we stood there with the sun setting in the west over Jerusalem we were able to relive a very deeply moving moment in time and I am able to relive it here on the exact same day of the week at the exact same hours. I am so blessed.

On Wednesday Evening I was invited by Nehemiah Gordon for the Seder. We had 12 people from around the world and we each read a chapter of Exodus describing this event in history. Even the children read and it was very good. We all discussed and commented on each chapter. It was a very beautiful evening.

Thursday after noon which is the first day of Unleavened Bread Nehemiah again hosted a bible study in the park and about 15 people showed up. Nehemiah took all questions and answered them with the scriptures. Brethren, many of you have written to me about this man and those of you who have said the things you have said have much to repent of. He does much of what he does without compensation. No one pays him for searching for the barley. Yet when I was with him we are walking over ground where vipers live, over places where unexploded armaments have been known to be found, and along a fence that says to be aware of the mine field. On top of this he gets his share of hate email from both the Jews and Christians.

So during the day I was with him on Tuesday doing the Barley search I asked him why he does this. His answer was very simple. He just wants to share the truths that he has come to know and I can identify with that.

That afternoon He took me to Mount Gilboah and showed me the Jezreal valley and how strategic it was in history and how important it will be in the future. We also got to see where about King Saul died and the town where his body was hung on the wall. We had a picnic and shared some great discussions.

Those of you who have said the mean and evil things about this man Nehemiah Gordon do have much to repent of. Once you are perfect in your ways and without sin then maybe you might be able to criticize another human being, but until then beware of the lies you are spreading which come from your father Satan.

It is now Friday here in Israel and I am about to send out this letter to you. I will be returning home after Shabbat. We have had so many thing happen here this week that were not planned but Yahweh has caused them to come about. We will be sharing some of those things in an upcoming letter.

What we really need at this time is your prayers that we be in tune with what He wants us to do and to go forward on those things. I have had great favor this past two weeks, and part of that is because of the size of this News Letter. Would you please encourage others to sign up, as it does give us some clout. We also have a number of things that have come to our attention. Charitable avenues and Investment opportunities and job opportunities and education opportunities. All of which I hope to share with you soon.

With between 7000 and 10,000 readership we can as whole make a difference. The question is are you ready to act and to make that difference, or are you still not sure. There are many Jews who to this day still remember the time in Europe when they were told to leave long before the Nazi’s began their campaign against them. By the time they realized they should go it was too late and they could no longer get out. Six million of them died. This led to the birth of the State of Israel.

It is now Ephraim’s time. The Ten Lost tribes are being warned it is time to leave and return to their Father. Most will not heed this warning. Soon you will not be able to leave It will be too late the door will be closed. What are you going to do with the information you now have? If you have not yet watched the DVD Schindler’s List I strongly urge you do and consider how suddenly things changed.

One lady wrote me this week to tell me how scared she was after reading my News Letter. She has now dismissed all that she has read on it and is going to carry on not obeying Torah or Yahweh. What about you brethren, have you too dismissed all we have shared? Soon we will all know which one is right. Choose wisely, choose wisely.

I look forward to soon sharing with you the results of the visits and the many we have talked with.

I also received news that the ad campaign has been cancelled because the Christian community did not like my message of returning and obeying the Torah. Please pray for them and that Yahweh will guide those He has chosen to read the book The Prophecies of Abraham so they too can see the chronological order of prophecies which show us the event in the order they are to occur in these end times.

Again brethren go out and fish while we can in the waters of religious confusion and rescue those who are willing to obey Yahweh. Soon the Hunters come. Soon the trap will be sprung and soon the disobedient will know the price for ignoring Yahweh and His word.

We are now ready to begin our third week of the triennial Torah Readings which you can copy and print off your own.

03/04/2010 Gen 3 Josh 8-9 Ps 4-6 Mat 5

This week we also had the following readings for the Feast Days which I hope you have been following along with.

Chag HaMatzot Feast of Unleavened Bread Day 7 Sabbath
Ex 13:17 – 15:27
Num 28:19-25
Hos 11
Rev 15:1-4
1 Corin 10:1-14

I do know some of you have been doing these readings and sharing with me your studies. I love it, but because I am in Jerusalem and have been on the road, I have had little to no time to go over them. I am sorry.

In Genesis 3 I find this so amazing. We have already been talking about this chapter in the previous studies. In particular last week where we compared the way Yeshua handled Satan’s lies versus how Eve did. And even at Nehemiah’s study in the park this subject came up. So I am pleased to share what I have come to understand on this subject.

I would like to share a study I did about the serpent:

Joshua 8 He destroys Ai and the inhabitants of Bethel.
Joshua 9 He is tricked into making a covenant with the inhabitants of Gibeon

Mathew 5 beatitudes. There is so much that could be written on just this one subject and I have not had the time to do that this week. But again in our conversations with various people this subject did come up. So I would also like to share a study I have done on what it means to be meeked and to be a peacemaker.

Shalom
