Love Will Overcome Hate

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shalom to The Royal Family of Yehovah,

“Our Mission to Burundi Africa”

As we have written to you, we are sending James Relf, our website provider, to Burundi, Africa. He will be there for two weeks before joining me in Israel for Sukkot this fall. I am asking you all to keep him in your prayers to strengthen him and encourage him. And for Yehovah to protect him. Our contacts there have had our books and videos for one year now and are teaching the Sabbath and Holy Days and Sabbatical years to their 65 churches under his care.

Last Sukkot in 2015 I spoke at many places in and around Manila, Philippines. We spoke with those in Parliament, the Bishops of Manila and the Generals who serve in the military. How this trip developed was amazing and as we reported last year we could hardly believe our eyes as each day unfolded and we saw the people we were speaking in front of. Many of those connections are now closely connected to the new President of the Philippines. Where this will lead us Yehovah only knows. Again it was on this visit that they drafted a bill to have the Holy Days of Lev 23 as part of the national holidays of the Philippines. The draft is still before parliament.

I mention this because since we agreed to go to Burundi, we have since come to understand just how well connected our host is to the leadership of this small African country. So James will be laying some ground work for our next visit there when we can again speak to the leadership of Burundi. For this trip he is going to focus on the pastors of the 65 churches and answering the many questions about the Sabbath and Holy Days. So please do keep him in your prayers.

This trip is also going to be very expensive for us. As with most speaking engagements we do not charge. We pay our own way and hope there might be enough donations to cover our expenses. Most of the time it never does. Burundi is not a wealthy country and James will be meeting people in fields and huts to save the costs of renting a large hall. If you can assist us with donations to help cover the nearly $10,000 we expect to have to pay out to do this trip, it would be a great help to us. Thank you.

“The Shemitah Year 2016-2017”

Each week this section of our News Letter causes someone to stop and to begin to think. In the last couple of News Letters we have had reports from Israel about the Wheat Harvest having already begun in May. We posted news feeds of this event and we also kept Shavuot on May 15, 2016. Our declaration that the month of Aviv began March 10, 2016 was very upsetting to many people. They began to call us many names and cancelled their subscription to our weekly teachings. But they continued to read, because no one else teaches what we do about the Holy Days and the Sabbatical years.

With the news articles from Israel about the wheat being harvested as early as May 10, 2016, they have begun to question their own reasoning for keeping Shavuot this past weekend on June 12, 2016, full month after the wheat harvest began. Could they possibly have made a mistake? We are saying yes, they have and now that you know it, it is time to repent and prepare to keep the fall feasts at the proper time.

Here is one Brother who wrote me this week to say the following;

Shalom Joseph, I would like to ask your forgiveness regarding the Aviv barley and calling you out for not declaring a 13th month on the 10/03/16. I have been shown that you were right and I was wrong. You have my permission to share this recantation publicly on your wall as I would have done if possible.

My Brother from South Africa then went on to give the following study as an aid to his coming to the understanding he now has. The word used for Aviv is or should be the word ripening. The month of the ripening barley. Please take the time to go through the presentation.

The fall Feasts will be as follows:

Friday Sept 2, 2016 to Saturday Sept 3, 2016 will be the Feast of Trumpets if the moon is sighted. If not then the next day, Sunday, will be the Feast of Trumpets.

Assuming the moon is sighted then Atonement will be sunset Sept 11 to sunset Sept 12.

The Feast of Sukkot will begin on Friday evening Sept 16 and Saturday Sept 17.

The 8th Day will be Friday Sunset Sept 23, to sunset Saturday Sept 24, 2016

Pray to Yehovah and ask Him to reveal to you the truth as to when the year began and when to keep the Feasts.

Again I am going to share with you the commandments for the Sabbatical year, maybe each week until you have it memorized. The Sabbatical year began with the sighting of the moon on the evening of March 10, 2016.

1)  Do not plant

2) Do not harvest

Lev 25:3  You shall sow your field six years, and you shall prune your vineyard six years, and gather in the fruit of it. 4  But in the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of rest to the land, a Sabbath for Jehovah. You shall neither sow your field, nor prune your vineyard. 5  You shall not reap that which grows of its own accord of your harvest, neither gather the grapes of your undressed vine. It is a year of rest to the land.

3) You can eat what grows on it’s own.

Lev 25:6  And the Sabbath of the land shall be food for you, for you and for your servant, and for your slave woman and for your hired servant, and for your stranger who stays with you, 7  and for your cattle, and for the beast that is in your land, shall all the increase of it be for food.

4) Stock up on food in the 6th year.

Lev 25:20  And if you shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? Behold, we shall not sow nor gather in our increase! 21  Then I will command My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

5) Forgive any debts people owed to you by Sukkot.

Deu 15:1  At the end of every seven years you shall make a release. 2  And this is the manner of the release. Every man who has a loan to his neighbor shall release it. He shall not exact it from his neighbor, or from his brother, because it is called Jehovah’s release. 3  You may exact it from a foreigner, but your hand shall release that which is yours with your brother,

6) Read the Torah out loud at Sukkot so all can hear it being read.

Deu 31:10  And Moses commanded them, saying: At the end of seven years, at the set time of the year of release, in the Feast of Tabernacles, 11  when all Israel has come to appear before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose, you shall read this Law before all Israel in their hearing. 12  Gather the people, men and women and the little ones, and your stranger who is within your gates, so that they may hear and that they may learn and fear Jehovah your God, and be careful to do all the words of this Law, 13andthat their sons who have not known may hear and learn to fear Jehovah your God, as long as you live in the land where you go over Jordan to possess it.

And by now you should also have completed all your obligations to the widows, orphan, and Levites from your tithes for the 6th year that is now past.

Deu 14:28  At the end of three years you shall bring forth all the tithe of your increase the same year, and shall lay it up inside your gates. 29  And the Levite, because he has no part nor inheritance with you, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are inside your gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied, so that Jehovah your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

Ask Yehovah to bless you for having completed this task and then ask Him to bless your efforts as you keep the Sabbatical year and keep your food safe from decay or flood or hydro blackouts and from scavengers like rodents. Ask Him to protect it and to bless you for keeping His commandments.

Deu 26:12  When you have made an end of tithing all the tithes of your increase the third year, the year of tithing, and have given it to the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow (that they may eat inside your gates and be filled), 13  then you shall say before Jehovah your God, I have brought away the holy things out of my house, and also have given them to the Levite, and to the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all Your commandments which You have commanded me. I have not broken Your commandments, neither have I forgotten. 14  I have not eaten of it in my mourning, neither have I putany of it away for unclean use, nor have I given of it for the dead. I have listened to the voice of Jehovah my God, and have done according to all that You have commanded me. 15  Look down from Your holy dwelling, from Heaven, and bless Your people Israel and the land which You have given us, as You swore to our fathers, a land that flows with milk and honey. 16  Today Jehovah your God has commanded you to do these statutes and judgments. You therefore shall keep and do them with all your heart and with all your soul. 17  You have today said that Jehovah is your God, and that you would walk in His ways, and keep His statutes and His commandments and His judgments, and listen to His voice. 18  And Jehovah has taken you today to be His peculiar people, as He has promised you, and to keep all His commandments, 19 and to make you high above all nations which He has made, in praise and in name and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to Jehovah your God, even as He has spoken.

May Yehovah bless each and every one of you for keeping the Sabbatical year commandment and breaking the curses that are upon our nations because we have not kept them in the past.

“What Are Your Doing to Further the Word of Yehovah?”

Last week we sent our News Letter on The Covenant Made With Many with the following introduction.

Shabbat Shalom To The Family of Yehovah!

The Covenant made with many, spoken of in Daniel 9, is alive and being forced upon all of us daily and most of you have no clue.

Week after week, we are pummeled with news, TV sitcoms and laws to dull our senses and our moralities causing us to become tolerant of everything going on around us.

Our tolerance has become intolerable to Yehovah and it stinks to high heaven. What are you doing about it? The laws have already been changed so that you no longer can speak out about it without going to jail.

It was just 35 years ago when bath houses were raided and men were led off to jail for acts of sodomy. Now those same events are brought into your very own home through TV sitcoms and national parades endorsed by the very governments each of you have elected. Soon pedophiles will be known as an alternative lifestyle and supported by the United Nations Human Rights.

Just as it was with Israel engaged in sexual deviant acts with the Moabite women just before Israel was to enter the promised land, so it is today with all of Israel deep into all kinds of depravity and publicly promoting their lust for the god of holes as a good thing. We are just a short number of years away from the end of this 6 millennial day when Israel will be returned to The Land. But we must purge from us the evil that is among us.

Where is Phinehas when you need him? Is a plague about to begin?

Lev 26:25  And I will bring a sword on you that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant. And when you are gathered inside your cities, I will send the plague among you. And you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

This coming Aviv in 2017, the Sabbatical year will be over, then begins the 4th Sabbatical cycle of this 120th Jubilee cycle. Included in this 4th Sabbatical cycle is the curse of the sword and the curse of plague along with captivity.

Zec 7:12  And they made their hearts adamant from hearing the Law and the Words which Jehovah of Hosts has sent through His Spirit, by the former prophets. And great wrath came from Jehovah of Hosts.

Zec 7:13  And it will be, as He called, and they did not listen, so they called, and I did not listen, says Jehovah of Hosts.

The people or the state that posted the video from which I took the picture was the State of Israel, of all groups. The State of Israel was supporting and promoting the LGBTQ right to walk around exposing themselves in the Promised Land.

Then I got the following response.

Joe I just read your introductory page and I don’t appreciate it. Who are you to tell me or anyone reading your site that we are tolerant of the depravity and that basically all Israel is in depravity. Excuse me, sounds like you’re judging every Hebraic in fellowships as well as those who aren’t. Who are you to judge? I could not pass this on to people that I know. Be sure to check out the speck in your own eye before you check out others as a generalization.

Bill Hamel

I will let you all judge if Bill is correct or not in his assessment of my introduction.

My News Letter was posted on Friday morning so you could read it on Sabbath for those who do not have a group to attend with. Saturday evening at a popular gay bar in Orlando Florida, the Gay Rights people learned just how accommodating the Islamic Koran is to their cause when one American born Islamic believer showed them what he was taught in the Koran, slaughtering 50 and wounding another 53, sending them to the hospital. Yet many liberal gays still want to invite the poor Syrian refugees to North America.

And then again many other Gay Movements are racing to endorse Donald Trump.

Brethren, we do not support the LGBTQ rights that they have now claimed. They are against Torah. But there are now 50 humans who no longer have a chance to repent in this life.

How many of you are sitting there wringing your hands and saying ‘oh my’, what a shame? SHAME ON YOU!!

You have read The Prophecies of Abraham. We have published it since 2010. We wrote it in our news letters in 2005-2009. Many could not understand it so we had to write our second book, Remembering the Sabbatical year of 2016 to help them understand. Then we had to write The 2300 Days of Hell to explain what the 2016 book could not cover which was also written in The Prophecies of Abraham in 2010.

They all tell you the coming tide of terror that Islam is going to wreak upon our sleeping, tolerating everything under the sun nations.

And yet how many of you are daily shouting out a warning to others? How many of you are posting the books on your social networks for them to buy and telling them why they need to read these books to understand the times we are in RIGHT NOW. How many of you are talking to your friends at church or the local store or barber shop or work? If not then why not? What on earth are you waiting for?

Are you like the man who wrote me saying he could not share our message because I offended him? Shame on you.

I wonder how many of those in that night club might have stayed home to read the news letter you sent them and by doing so stayed alive. Do you know we have brethren who have sons and daughters who have taken up the LGBTQ lifestyle and they ask me to pray for their sons and daughters. No, I do not curse them. I pray Yehovah send them to the web site. But if you all keep your mouths shut then they may never hear of it.

We have shown you that those who keep their mouths shut are the same as the 5 foolish virgins who did not have enough oil when the Messiah came. Is that you? Go ahead and look up the word foolish. It means to shut your mouth. The second meaning is Mystery religion which is puzzling. Until you realize that those who shut their mouths allow evil to thrive when good people do nothing.

I should not be the only one shouting out this warning. Few of you support us as we work to do this. Few others there are who weekly and daily warn others and get them to read our books and watch our videos. It should not be a few but thousands sharing this message.

If you’re scared your church is going to kick you out then listen up. A little old lady who attended CGI for years began to tell them each week about the things she was learning by reading our News letter and reading our books. She caused them to discuss and preach about these things. And she was just kicked out. Now she is free to say everything to the same people on her mailing list without fear of being kicked out. So speak up if you attend any church of god and if they kick you out then do not stop yelling out the warning to these people who think they are already saved. Do the same in all the SDA churches.

Soon you will not be able to say anything for fear of being shot. But that time is not now. So speak up while you can and help others to come to the truth. Or just send them to the web site and let our news letters do the talking for you. But you have to start doing something. Wringing your hands is not enough.

After this shooting in the LGBT night club hundreds of you should have written to each and every Christian TV host and let them know the things we have written in The 2300 Days of Hell and The Prophecies of Abraham. Are you too busy to do that? The more of you who write them the more they will contact me and the more we all can share this message to those they teach. Have you written to your Government Leaders and advised them about what I am warning? If not then why not? Have you called these people to warn them or are you just going to continue to talk on your groups on fb? It is time to let the world know. I need your help to do this. Are you going to help or continue to wring your hands?

This week at work I was on our construction site. I was digging and very busy when this guy walks up to me. He said he knew me and I said that we worked together for a day or two at another company. He then asked me if I had written some books and made some DVD’s about the bible. I said yes I had, and he jumped up and said “THAT IS WHERE I KNEW YOU FROM, I have been watching them and they are very scary”. We did not have time to talk more as it was a very busy day.

Help to share this message.

Another women wrote to Patterns of Evidence producers and also to Rick Wiles of TruNews and she is now sending them our books and videos and sharing with them those things we are teaching. Each and everyone of you can do this. The question is will you do it in order to help others come to know these truths.

“Love will overcome Hate”

Martin Luther King Jr. — ‘Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.’

Love is the key to overcoming hate. Christians are commanded to love even our enemies. How can we creatively love those who resort to violence against us, while still taking common sense measures to protect the innocent?

On many talk shows and news interviews after the Orlando shooting last week was the LGBTQ community saying that we must stop the hate and just love one another. Love love love love love. Stop the Hate and love one another.

I found the following article in a Christian article the day after the shooting.

Christians: Don’t Say the Gays in Orlando ‘Got What They Deserved’

BY MATT MOORE , CP GUEST COLUMNIST

June 13, 2016|11:56 am

Every time a vicious crime is committed against a group of LGBT people or a natural disaster befalls a Gay Pride event, my ears are pained by senseless explanations offered by religious yet graceless voices.

Most Christians mourn and weep over these tragedies, but I always hear a few Bible Belt dwellers claiming “the heathen” got what they deserved — that God smote the sodomites as they reveled in their sins. They recall biblical stories like Sodom and Gomorrah and almost excitedly proclaim that God is “still in the business of judging rebels!” There is no doubt in my mind that there are religious yet gospel-ignorant men and women sitting in their church pews as I write this article, feeling tempted to utter such in-sensitivities in the wake of the Orlando gay club shooting.

If you are one who is inclined to believe these gay club attendees got what was coming to them, I plead with you to consider the words of Jesus:

“There were some present at that very time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And he answered them, ‘Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.'” – Luke 13:1-5

Is homosexual behaviour sinful? Absolutely. Is embracing homosexual desires an act of defiance against a good and holy God? Most definitely. Is a nightclub full of intoxicated homosexuals one of the least holy places you could enter? As someone who spent four nights a week in gay clubs prior to Jesus getting his hands on me, I can assure you that it is. But are homosexual sinners worse than Sunday school sinners? Not by a long shot.

Apart from God’s grace, you are just as depraved and enslaved to the sin within you as the LGBT person. Your wickedness may flesh out differently, but it is no less despicable in the sight of God.

Do you think God finds your self-righteous judgment of the gay man more tolerable than He finds the gay man’s same-sex acts? Do you think He is less disturbed by you looking down your nose at the lesbian woman than He is by that lesbian woman’s homosexual indulgences? If so, think again — and heed the words of the One you say you follow: “Unless you repent, you will likewise perish.”

Friend, don’t think, even for a second, that underneath your conservative Republican-ish veneer, your heart is any less obstinate and wicked than that of the gay man dancing at the gay bar in Orlando last night.

God does not take delight in the death of the wicked (Ezekiel 18:23) — and neither do those whose hearts have been filled with his love. If you claim to follow Jesus, mourn over the rebellion of those who refuse to trust him (Luke 13:34). Weep over death and the widespread grief that accompanies it (John 11:35). But don’t utter a word of condescending judgment — because your own sinfulness earns you no less than an eternity under God’s wrath.

He does make some interesting points but did you fall for the propaganda?

He is right. You are no different that the LGBTQ person.

John Bradford who was burned at the stake said “There but for the grace of God go I” when he saw a group of prisoners go past him.

Your self righteousness or your secret sins make you no different than the the LGBTQ persons. Do you remember me telling you about all those Jews who kept the Sabbath and Holy Days and they also kept them according to the crescent moon and they also kept the Sabbatical years. And yet Yehovah allowed them to be slaughtered by the Romans in 70 AD. Why? The three factions had no love for one another.

1Co 13:1  Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I have become as sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal. 2  And though I have prophecies, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so as to move mountains, and do not have charity, I am nothing. 3  And though I give out all my goods to feed the poor, and though I deliver my body to be burned, and have not charity, I am profited nothing. 4  Charity has patience, is kind; charity is not envious, is not vain, is not puffed up; 5  does not behave indecently, does not seek her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil. 6  Charity does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth, 7  quietly covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8  Charity never fails. But if there are prophecies, they will be abolished; if tongues, they shall cease; if knowledge, it will be abolished.

Charity means love. Brotherly love for one another. How do you love someone who is clearly living a sin filled life and is not obeying Yehovah? You hate the sin but not the sinner as we were all sinners and some still are. If you break any of the laws you are guilty of breaking all of the laws. So by lying you are just as guilty as a sodomite.

Mat 5:18  For truly I say to you, Till the heaven and the earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in any way pass from the Law until all is fulfilled. 19  Therefore whoever shall relax one of these commandments, the least, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of Heaven. But whoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven.

Jas 2:8  If you fulfill the royal Law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself,” you do well. 9  But if you have respect to persons, you commit sin and are convicted by the Law as transgressors. 10  For whoever shall keep the whole Law and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11  For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” But if you do not commit adultery, yet if you murder, you have become a transgressor of the Law. 12  So speak and do as those who shall be judged by the Law of liberty. 13  For he who has shown no mercy shall have judgment without mercy, and mercy exults over judgment.

Here are some of the things Yehovah hates.

Pro 6:16  These six Jehovah hates; yea, seven are hateful to his soul: 17  a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18  a heart that plots wicked plans, feet hurrying to run to evil, 19  a false witness who speaks lies, and he who causes fighting among brothers. 20  My son, keep your father’s commandments, and do not forsake the law of your mother;

Gay Pride would then be covered in the very first thing Yehovah hates. Those killed in Orlando are reported to be innocent. This word innocent means the following;

H5355    na?q??y  na?q??y’    naw-kee’,naw-kee’

From H5352; innocent: – blameless, clean, clear, exempted, free, guiltless, innocent, quit.

Guiltless would then be those free from sin. So are those who practice the LGBTQ lifestyle free from sin?

Rom 9:13  As it is written, “Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.” 14  What shall we say then? Is there not unrighteousness with God? Let it not be! 15  For He said to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” 16  So then it is not of the one willing, nor of the one running, but of God, the One showing mercy.

It is Yehovah who decides who He is going to show mercy to and to whom Yehovah is going to harden their hearts. Yehovah is raising up Edom Esau to bring the sword upon his brother, the children of Jacob.

Amo 1:11  So says Jehovah: For three transgressions of Edom, yea for four, I will not turn away from it. Because he pursued his brother with the sword, and cast off all pities, and his anger tore without end, and he kept his wrath forever.

Rom 9:17  For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “Even for this same purpose I have raised you up, that I might show My power in you, and that My name might be declared throughout all the earth.” 18  Therefore He has mercy on whom He will have mercy, and whom He will, He hardens. 19  You will then say to me, Why does He yet find fault? For who has resisted His will? 20  No, but, O man, who are you who replies against God? Shall the thing formed say to Him who formed it, Why have you made me this way? 21  Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel to honor and another to dishonor? 22  What if God, willing to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction; 23  and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy which He had before prepared to glory; 24  whom He also called, not only us, of Jews, but also of the nations? 25  As He also says in Hosea, “I will call those not My people, My people; and those not beloved, Beloved.” 26  And it shall be, in the place where it was said to them. “You are not My people; there they shall be called sons of the living God.”

When Yehovah was about to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham kept asking if they had so many righteous people would Yehovah show His mercy and not destroy the cities.  Yehovah agreed. Lot and his two daughters and his wife left. Lot even lost some of his own family who would not leave the comforts and fun parties of that lifestyle. Much like the world we have today. But a remnant was saved.

Rom 9:27  Isaiah also cries concerning Israel, “Though the number of the sons of Israel is as the sands of the sea, a remnant shall be saved. 28  For He is bringing the matter to an end, and cutting short in righteousness, because the Lord will make a short work on the earth.” 29  And as Isaiah said before, “Unless the Lord of hosts had left us a seed, we would have been as Sodom, and would have been like Gomorrah.” 30  What shall we say then? That the nations, who did not follow after righteousness have taken on righteousness, but a righteousness of faith.

So now we come to the crux of the matter. Paul is about to teach us something very important that the christian world fails to see. They fail to see it because they do not and will not keep the commandments saying they are nailed to the cross and that they do not have to keep them. But that is not what the New Testament says.

Joh 14:15  If you love Me, keep My commandments.

1Ti 6:14  that you keep the commandment without spot and without blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Jn 2:3  And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commandments. 4  He who says, I have known Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5  But whoever keeps His Word, truly in this one the love of God is perfected. By this we know that we are in Him.

1Jn 5:2  By this we know that we love the children of God, whenever we love God and keep His commandments. 3  For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments, and His commandments are not burdensome.

Psa 119:172  My tongue shall speak Your Word, for all Your Commandments are righteousness.

When you keep the commandments then you are putting on righteousness. It is by the keeping of those commandments that we do this. And it is those who do not want to keep the Sabbath or the Holy Days or the Sabbatical years that are rejecting the 4th commandment saying it is done away. They are lying. We are striving to follow the Torah and to obey the law of righteousness. BUT…….

Rom 9:31  But Israel, who followed after a law of righteousness did not arrive at a law of righteousness.

Why did they not succeed? Why were they not considered righteous? The law is not done away with. We are to keep it, but it is Yehovah that grants mercy on whomever He decides and hardens the hearts of those others whom He decides. There but for the grace of Yehovah go I. Again Paul give the answer. So here is what the propaganda at the start of this section hid from you. Did you see it?

Rom 9:32  Why? Because it was not of faith, but as it were by the works of the Law. For they stumbled at that Stumbling-stone; 33  as it is written, “Behold, I lay in Zion a Stumbling-stone and a Rock-of-offense, and everyone believing on Him shall not be put to shame.”

So what is faith? Why did Israel who had the law not succeed because of a lack of faith? What does that mean?

Rom 10:17  Then faith is of hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. 18  But I say, Have they not heard? Yes indeed, their voice went out into all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. 19  But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses says, “I will provoke you to jealousy by those who are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.” 20  But Isaiah is very bold and says, “I was found by those who did not seek Me, I became known to those who did not ask after Me.” 21  But to Israel He says, “All day long I have stretched forth My hands to a disobeying and gainsaying people.”

You and I were chosen by Yehovah. I was not looking for Him. I did not care for anything about Him. I suspect you are the same. He was the one who reached down and chose each one of us. It is by His mercy that we are here. Many know the laws of the torah, but they just go through the motions and try to find ways to get around those things they do not like. Some say the law is done away. Others that those laws are for only when you are in the land. Or still others that they are just for the Jews.

But those with faith; those who actually do believe Yehovah and talk to Him daily as in a conversation and not just reciting the same old stale prayers, but actually talk to Yehovah as they would their Father or Husband, these are those who have the faith and they also will keep the laws.

Pro 28:9  He who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is a hateful thing.

Joh 9:31  But we know that God does not hear sinners, but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him.

If you are not going to keep the laws then Yehovah is not going to hear your prayers. Those who are breaking the laws are sinning.

Mat 7:21  Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. 22  Many will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works? 23  And then I will say to them I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness!

Let look at that word lawlessness.

G458  ????????    anomia    an-om-ee’-ah

From G459; illegality, that is, violationoflaw or (generally) wickedness: – iniquity, X transgress (-ion of) the law, unrighteousness.

G459   ????????   anomos   an’-om-os

From G1 (as a negative particle) and G3551; lawless, that is, (negatively) notsubjectto (the Jewish) law; (by implication a Gentile), or (positively) wicked: – without law, lawless, transgressor, unlawful, wicked.

G3551    ??????    nomos     nom’-os

From a primary word ????? nemo? (to parcel out, especially food or grazing to animals); law (through the idea of prescriptive usage), generally (regulation), specifically (of Moses [including the volume]; also of the Gospel), or figuratively (a principle): – law.

The Lawless are those who do not keep the law of Moses or the first 5 books of the bible. Because they do not keep them, Yehovah does not hear their prayers. Yet Yehovah is the one who hardened their hearts and also called us from our hard hearts.

So how should we react to events like those in Orlando last week? There but for the grace of Yehovah go each one of us. Hate the sin, not the sinner, keep the Torah. Pray and work to help others find the truth of the Torah, so that they too, by their own faith will want to keep the Sabbath, the Holy Days, the Sabbatical years and the rest of the commandments. They will want to keep the law, not feel they have to keep it. You love Yehovah by keeping the Torah. It is not love love love as in tolerate everything just to make peace. That is not love. Love is keeping the Torah.
