Kadesh Barnea and the Abomination

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

28 Day After The Abomination and Slaughter of Oct 7, 2023

November 4, 2023

Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah, Watch for you do not know the day or the hour…

We do not know the day or the hour, but we do know the season.

I am counting the days since the Abomination was set up on Oct 7, in which this horrific attack took place because some believe the 1335-day count also began with the March 25, 2020 date. I do not believe this, but we will continue to check it out and see.

They are looking at the date of November 7, 2023, starting from March 11, 2020. This will be the 45 days after the 1290-day count, which they think then is the 1335 day of Daniel 12.
Others are also using this 1335 count from March 25, 2020, which then brings you to November 21, 2020. I do not think the 1335 is included with the 1290. But we will see.

Dan 12:12 Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

Again I do not agree with this thinking but who knows?

What I do know is this:

  1. We know for a fact that we have the Jubilee Cycles Correct. We have over 89 proofs confirming this.
  2. We know that we are in the final 120th Jubilee Cycle of mankind.
  3. We know the 7th Millennium begins in the year 2045.
  4. We know that all end-time prophecies must be completed in the next 21 years.
  5. We also know that those 21 years must be cut short or no flesh will be saved alive.
  6. We know that this 120th Jubilee Cycle is also the 70th Jubilee Cycle since Moses was told to go and get the people of Israel at the burning bush. This is the 70th week of Daniel 9:24-27.
  7. We know that 2020 was the midst of the week or the midst of the 70th Week of Daniel 9:27.
  8. Because 2020 is now history, we, can now look back and see that in the midst of this 70th Jubilee Cycle, COVID struck the entire world.
  9. Again, because of recent worldwide events, we can now look back and see that the 1290-day count began with Netanyahu declaring a lockdown on March 25, 2020. 1290 Days later was, Oct 7, 2023, the day of the slaughter in Israel. We initially thought it was when W.H.O. declared the worldwide pandemic on March 11, 2020. But now we know it was when Israel began to shut down. When the daily in Israel, the bullocks of their lips stopped. That was March 25, 2020.
  10. But the abomination was not on the corner of the Altar nor in the Holy Place. This means there is yet another fulfilment of this prophecy in the very near future.
  11. The Slaughter around the Gaza strip on Oct 7, 2023, was in what used to be called Kadesh Barnea, which means the Holy Fugatives wandering.
  12. The 2300-day count began from the same starting point. This now makes the completion of the 2300 Days end on July 17, 2026, not June 28 as we had originally thought. This is when the Two Witnesses begin to do their work.
  13. The 3 1/2 years of persecution of the Saints according to Revelation 6:9-11 and Daniel 7:21-22 are now about to begin starting from 2024 to 2026.
  14. Many have assumed the 1335-day count begins at the same time as the 1290-day count. I disagree with that. But I do not know when the 1335 begins or ends at this time. I originally thought it ended with Shavuot in 2033.
  15. Judgment on the world begins 2024 and goes for 10 years until Atonement 2033.

We will continue to refine and adjust our understanding as Yehovah reveals more and more of His truths to us as we draw closer to each major event.

The 10 Days of Awe is now available on Amazon in paperback.

The 10 Days of Awe describes the final ten years of judgment in this final 120th Jubilee Cycle of this 6th millennium. (2024-2033) The extreme heat domes around the earth, droughts, floods, cyclones, typhoons, earthquakes and wars are all explained once you understand cup the Sotah woman must drink, having been suspected of adultery. It is not and never was climate change or global warming.

When the curses of this temple ritual are implemented, then the 10 plagues of Egypt in these last days come to life once you understand the 10 gods that Yehovah attacked at the Exodus are the same ones He is attacking today by different names.

Joseph Dumond’s uncanny ability to understand the Jubilee Cycles of Leviticus 25, along with his understanding of the Holy Days of Leviticus 23 and a huge blessing from Yehovah, revealing these truths to him, has enabled him to correctly want about the middle of the week or 2020 years in advance. He has been the only voice doing so since 2005. You can read about this warning in The Prophecies of AbrahamRemembering the Sabbatical Year of 2016 and The 2300 Days of Hell.

Dumond began to warn about the next big event, the Abomination That Makes Desolate, which only Joseph Dumond warned was coming on September 22, 2023. He even went to Jerusalem to watch it being built and warned his readers as it progressed. He even warned the authorities on Sept 10 and 11, of an imminent attack on the State of Israel, which came to pass on Oct.7, 2023. No one else has done this.

But the abomination expected on Sept 22, was set up on Oct 7, 2023, at the Nova Rave in what used to be known as Kadesh Barnea.

The Elijah Trilogy consists of The Restoration of All Things, The Abomination That Makes Desolate, and this book The 10 Days of Awe.

The Abomination That Makes Desolate

The Abomination That Makes Desolate

The Countdown Is About To Be Completed!

The Countdown To the Abomination Began March 11, 2020 when W.H.O. announced a world wide pandemic!

But in Israel, the Lockdown began when Netanyahu announced it on March 25, 2020.

1290 Days Later Is October 7, 2023.

THE BIGGEST EVENT SINCE THE CRUCIFIXION HAS NOW TAKEN PLACE, AND YOU HAVE FRONT-ROW SEATS

Do you know what to look for, and do you know where to look for it? Are you even watching?

Even though we were watching, we did not see what was coming on October 7. We thought it was going to be two weeks earlier. But now we know.

It is time to get right with Yehovah now with fasting and prayers and turning back to Him while you have time.

THE ABOMINATION THAT MAKES DESOLATE must surely qualify as one of the most misinterpreted subjects in the entire Bible. In truth, it is a mystery, as evidenced by the fact that even the prophet Daniel himself did not fully comprehend its meaning. (Daniel 12:8-9)

Clearly, therefore, there is no shame in failing to understand all the details of this major End-Times’ prophetic event. This is where Joseph Dumond’s second book in his Elijah Trilogy comes as such a timely and most befitting word in season. This work is best suited for those who genuinely and in earnest seek after truth, as it provides an accurate compass guiding the reader safely through the maze of all the key End-Times’ prophetic markers that enable one to come into a full understanding of the content therein. As the author leads you step-by-step; you will come to know the true meaning and full import of this earth-shattering event. For starters, you will be impacted by the urgency of the hour, as the timing of this event is just around the corner.

You will marvel in amazement as you have your eyes opened to the true understanding of what is meant by the 70th week of Daniel.
You will find out the true biblical location of the sacrificial altar for the Red Heifer, as well as the most probable timetable for this event. It will come as a revelation for you to learn that it may not necessarily mean a Temple has to be built before this sacrifice is made.

You will discover when the Antichrist intervenes to stop the sacrifices being offered at the altar in Jerusalem, and also, when he plans to set up “The Abomination That Makes Desolate.”

You will also learn when the “Two Witnesses” commence their ministry in Jerusalem, and how Nadab and Abihu—the two sons of Aaron—may have been prophetic symbols of those Two Witnesses.

The strength and beauty of this work is that, unlike so many other authors, Joseph Dumond actually gives answers that pinpoint exactly where we are prophetically today. Not only this, he gives us the tools to prove the answers for ourselves. He does this by demonstrating in the clearest terms aided by his colourful charts that the major KEYS to understanding END-TIMES’ PROPHECY are the Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles. Most students of the Bible sadly are wholly unaware of their existence. Yet, once you understand these, you are able to—with a significantly improved level of accuracy—pinpoint exactly where we are in these biblical cycles of time. The amazing—or some might even say scary part being—that all of these spectacular, apocalyptic and catastrophic events will be taking place in just a few years from now!

The 1290 Days countdown is now complete. Yehshua warned what was going to come next. Get ready!! We are there now and no one is prepared.

If you want a PDF version and you want it now just go to our store and you can begin to read this book as soon as you fill in your information.

We asked those who were given the free copy to write us and let us know what they thought of being able to now read the 10 Days of Awe. Here is what they said.

Foreword

This final part of Joseph Dumond’s Eliyah Trilogy is an awesome work of unadulterated truth made plain with brutal honesty. At the same time we are presented with so many startling revelations that you feel compelled to read on to discover more amazing surprises. Even though some of these may make for grim reading; you nevertheless need to go on with the text, as forewarned is forearmed.

A Day for a Year – a Year for a Day!

The title of the book rather understates what you and I, as well as the rest of the world are going to experience in the near future. It is based upon a longstanding tradition of the Jews to engage in deep repentance for the ten days between the Feast of Trumpets, (Yom Teruah), and the Day of Atonement, (Yom Kippur) each year. The author has used this same principle by applying a biblical twist to it by changing the days into years. A Day for a Year – a Year for a Day! In Bible prophecy, it is a common understanding that prophetic messages containing days, can be interpreted as years. Biblical examples of this are found in (Numbers 14:34 & Ezekiel 4:4-6). This means that from Trumpets to Yom Kippur, Israel, and the world at large will be given TEN YEARS to come to repentance. Based on Mr. Dumond’s understanding of the Sabbatical and the Jubilee Years; these prophetic 10 years of Awe begin as early as on the Feast of Trumpets of 2024, ending on the Day of Atonement, (Yom Kippur) in 2033! It is a terrifying thought to think how very close we are to the end of this age of man, as Yehovah’s full scale judgment on this world begins next year, engulfing all the Israelite nations, as well as the rest of the world in global chaos, war, famine, dictatorship and turmoil for ten solid years! What Joseph Dumond has done in this book is to give us a roadmap, where he has courageously linked the Ten Plagues of Egypt with the prophecies of the Book of Daniel, as well as with the various Horsemen, Seals, Trumpets, Beasts and Bowls of the Book of Revelation. As far as I am aware this has not been done before!

His analysis of the plagues of Egypt is by far the most thorough and the best I have ever seen, accompanied by many colour illustrations. However, not only does the author combine all of these mysterious prophetically interconnected events; more significantly he goes on to tell us exactly when these various events will occur within the ten-year time frame in question, namely those Ten Years of Awe! It truly is fantastic, as in this singular work we are given a compass into the immediate future; armed with a precise timescale as to when these spectacular earth-shattering events will occur.

Not only that, as those few who are prepared to submit to the “instructions,” (the Torah), of the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob, will, just like the ancient Israelites escaping from their crushing bondage in Egypt, in a SECOND EXODUS; be given protection and a free pass to escape most of those ghastly horrors awaiting rebellious mankind.

The cataclysmic Great Tribulation will kick off on Passover 2030, and it will go on for an unspeakable three and a half years to end on the day of Yom Kippur, (the Day of Atonement) in 2033, e.g. the last 3.5 years. Those who are the true sheep of Yehovah will be counted worthy to escape this Great Tribulation. These faithful ones are variously described as “The Bride of Christ,” or as the Five Virgins, who have the necessary oil in their lamps when the Bridegroom, (Messiah Yeshua), comes for them.

Now for most people any book covering all of the above would be more than enough, yet Joseph Dumond has still more, indeed much more in store for the reader. Truth to tell; you will be treated to revelation after revelation, too much to digest in one reading. This foreword only permits me to cover just a few of them.

The Jewish Sages maintain that Adam, the first man was created on the Feast of Trumpets. Our Messiah Yeshua, who was the Second Adam, was also born on that same day, the Feast of Trumpets, (Yom Teruah)! At the end of the sixth millennial day, the one that is coming to an end right now, when Yehovah/Yeshua comes to judge the world; it too will be on this self-same day of Trumpets, when He will establish His Kingdom rule here on earth, ushering an unprecedented time of peace, and well-being for all, when paradise will be restored.

Polluted Altars

Having read Mr. Dumond’s well-researched part about the doctrine of the Trinity, it stands exposed as THE fundamental pillar of the Babylonian Mystery Religion. Once you realise its profane origins, spawned by incest, adultery and fornication within the same pagan family unit, you will be utterly shocked. Most of you will be surprised to discover the origins and the identity of those vile lowlifes who have so thoroughly infiltrated all the religions of the world. In direct consequence the religions of the world are operating from polluted altars with Christianity being no exception.

Brain Storming Sessions

Most fascinating are the brain storming sessions between Rabbi Fohrman and his comrade-in-arms, Imu Shalev. These two men treat you to a friendly and unparalleled repartee between two Jewish scholars, which in places is Oh, so Jewish, and at times very amusing. Even though the reader may not at all times be aware of what direction they are going in; you may be sure that they are 100% focussed upon finding the deeper underlying meaning of the text they are covering, and in the process, they uncover the most astounding truths. You find out why Miriam, the sister of Aaron was called “Bitter Waters” by her mother, plus why Yehovah referred to her as a prophet? You will get an insight into the demonic cruelty of the Pharaoh of Egypt. You will also get a much deeper appreciation for the suffering of those Hebrew mothers, as their male babies were taken by force by Pharaoh’s soldiers to be drowned in the Nile River. For the first time you will comprehend why after the Israelites crossed the Red Sea on dry land, why after a three day march, the waters at the Marah Oasis were bitter! You will receive so many new insights from these great scholars, and their main method is to question everything by always asking WHY? It is fascinating to see these seasoned Torah lovers at work. As I followed them, I found myself going through a gamut of emotions from smiling at their humour and verbal antics; to surprise and amazement at the exciting truths being unearthed. In the end, being struck by the profound import of their discoveries, it brought tears to my eyes.

An Amazing Analogy

When Moshe, Aharon and Miriam were alive there were three miracles that accompanied the Israelites in the merit of each of those three people.

  1. MANNA
  2. WATER
  3. THE CLOUD THAT LED ISRAEL FROM ONE PLACE TO THE NEXT PLACE

What is the common denominator between those three things?

They are all things you need each day to exist!

  1. You need water – you have water miraculously provided through The Rock.
  2. You need food to exist – you have manna miraculously supplied.
  3. You need daily direction to exist, so you do not get lost – You have direction.

The point is that their daily lives were augmented by miracles, and that is what life in the wilderness looks like. All their daily needs were provided for them miraculously. Forty years go by and then all is going to change. Miriam, Aaron and Moses all are going to die, and they are going into the land of Promise. The manna stops being provided. How are they going to get food? They are going to plant! How are they going to get water? They are going to draw it from a well! They won’t need direction anymore. Life is about to become natural. They are poised to make a transition from the supernatural of the desert into the natural world. For our Israelite ancestors it was a very big adjustment.

The curious thing is that with us on this side of imminent total world disintegration, whilst still enjoying the basic comforts of the natural world, we will soon have to face a flight into the wilderness, where only the supernatural can provide us with our daily needs. For us in our modern day, it too will be a huge adjustment only in reverse! It will be a huge test of faith for most of us. Here’s the thing; God does like to test us!

Exercise GREAT Faith!

Genesis 15:6 “And he believed in the LORD, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.” Abraham also believed in God and his belief or faith translated into Abraham “obeyed!” Obeying Yehovah’s Voice! Yehovah didn’t know Abraham’s faith until he obeyed His Voice – until he offered Isaac, his only begotten son! Not for nothing was Abraham called the ‘Father of the Faithful!’ For sure, the Holy One of Israel is going to test all of us, more than we can possibly know or imagine. This is why it is ever so important you get this book, as it will help you more than you can possibly understand at this moment. This is So urgent! There is no time to lose! Remember, you need your roadmap to prepare yourself for all the terrors and impregnable obstacles on the way. There is no time to dither, no time to say, I will think about it! The time is too short for that, as by the time you will have thought about it, you will be too late! I have read this book twice now, and I want to read it again. Why? Simply, because I think it so important to the future of my family that I want to make it my own by internalizing it. This work is that important! If you value your life and the life of your family my earnest advice is, GET THIS BOOK NOW!

Foreword Part Two

TEN DAYS OF AWE

By Joseph F Dumond

Why do we need another Foreword? The reason is that Joseph Dumond only gave me just over half of his book, not knowing how long it was going to take him to finish, or how many more pages he had to write. Thus this Foreword applies to the second half of this incredible book.

Amazing Connections

The most amazing aspect of this work is how the author has connected the somewhat obscure account of the Sotah woman mentioned in Numbers 5:14-28, with all the end time prophetic judgments and all the curses listed in Leviticus 26. How many of us reading this material have ever made a study of the Sotah woman? How many of us have even heard of her? She is brought before the priest when her husband has a spirit of jealousy, yet he is not able to prove any infidelity. She in order to establish the truth has to drink the cup of bitter waters into which the priest has placed the scrapings of the written curse, mixed with the dust of the floor of the tabernacle. The priest then puts her under oath, and says to the woman; “If no man has lain with you, and you have not gone astray to uncleanness while under your husband’s authority, be free from this bitter water that brings a curse.”

The priest in the presence of her husband then goes on to say:

“But if you have gone astray while under your husband’s authority, and if you have defiled yourself and some other man other than your husband has lain with you”- then the priest shall put the woman under the oath of the curse, and he shall say to the woman – “the LORD make you a curse and an oath among your people, when the LORD makes your thigh rot and your belly swell; “and may this water that causes the curse go into your stomach, and make your belly swell and your thigh rot.” Then the woman shall say, “Amen, so be it.”

The author them goes on to point out the many parallelisms to the bitter waters the Sotah woman has to drink, starting with our first parents Adam and Eve who were driven out of the Garden of Eden after they discovered their nakedness. The Sotah woman will be stripped naked exposing her shame, it is all connected.

Israel, inclusive of Judah, too provoked Yehovah to jealousy with strange gods, and as part of the Law of jealousy she will inherit the same fate. She too will be made to drink the bitter waters, and her stomach will become distended and bloated and her thighs like matchsticks will fall away, because of the plague of extreme famine coming onto the world.

Those bitter waters are also referred to in the earlier chapter in connection with the sorrow of the Hebrew mothers, who in the latter years of their captivity, had to suffer seeing their young baby boys forcefully taken away by Pharaoh’s soldiers to be mercilessly drowned in the River Nile.

We also learned that Miriam, the sister of Aaron and Moses curiously was named ‘Bitter Waters’ by her mother. She was the one who saved the young life of baby Moses, as she followed his little floating basket to the edge of the reeds, where the daughter of Pharaoh was bathing with her maid.

She showed great presence of mind to offer the princess a nursing maid for the baby. Later on she tasted the bitter waters, when she spoke to Aaron about Moses’ leadership, and criticized her brother. She was struck by leprosy, and suffered the humiliation of being put out of the Camp of Israel for seven days. The children of Israel too, after a three day march through the desert when they thirsted for water experienced a major test of faith when they came to Marah, as the waters were found to be bitter.

Ezekiel 16; is pointed out to us, as yet another dramatic account of a woman representing the whole house of Israel, who strayed very badly, not just with one lover, but with hundreds if not thousands of them in continuous rebellion against Yehovah. He saved her from certain death in a howling wilderness, and who chose her and gave her life. When you read this chapter, you cannot but be greatly moved by the intense pain our Father must suffer in observing His chosen nation to continuously flout His commandments.

Moving onto the New Testament, we find that in the parable of the ‘Woman at the Well,’ Yeshua addresses her as a type of the Sotah woman; as she too was an adulteress. The same goes for Mary Magdalena who was also a Sotah woman.

The rules of the Sotah woman come in to judge all of us. Yeshua paid that price so we can be redeemed because of this, if we repent and turn back to Yehovah. In the narrative, the author reminds us that our calling is to be witnesses to the greatest spectacles in the history of the world – not just as spectators, but as active participants. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall flame scorch you. For I am Yehovah your Elohim, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; (Isaiah 43:2-3a).

The angel with the seventh vial cast down hailstones that were 100 talents in weight. This is like the Sotah woman being stoned to death for her sins. Yeshua too, was stoned for our sins while hanging on the cross.

Deceiving the Whole World

From here on the narrative moves to ancient Babylon with a quote from Genesis: “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” (Genesis 3:15).

The ancient world in general were perfectly aware of the grand primeval promise of Eden, and they understood that the bruising of the heel of the promised seed would result in His death, and that a curse would be removed from the world by the death of the grand deliverer. If the premise of the bruising of the serpent’s head, recorded in Genesis, as made to our first parents, then it might be expected that some trace of this premise would be found in all nations. And such is the case, as there are hardly a people or nations on earth whose mythology it is not spoken of. For instance, the Greeks pictured their great god Apollo on slaying the serpent Pytho, and Herculus strangling serpents while yet in his cradle. We find evidence in the mythology of Egypt, in India, in Scandinavia, and in Mexico we find clear allusions to the same great truth, whose source can only come from the Book of Genesis. The evil genius of the Egyptian god Horus is frequently portrayed as a snake, whose head he is seen piercing with a spear. We see the same fable appear in India where the malignant serpent Calyia is slain by Vishnu in his avatar of Krishna. The   great Scandinavian deity Thor was said to have bruised the head of the great serpent with his mace. The source of all of this maybe readily traced to the Bible.

The above general intro to the ancient patriarchs of the post Flood age Mr Dumond introduces us to a most fascinating behind the scenes look at Ham, Canaan, Cush, and Nimrod. In short Ham usurped Noah by having sex with Noah’s wife, his mother; he in turn was supplanted by Cush, who used the same method of sleeping with his grandmother, Noah’s ex-wife. After this Nimrod took over the reins of the Babylonian empire and its mystery religion, and he too slept with Noah’s wife, who by this time had changed her name to Semiramis. The reader is treated to totally fresh pastures of ancient world history, which effectively is the birthplace of our world today. It is also the ancient fountainhead of all of the major religions of the world. It is a world of many gods, most of which resurfaced in Egypt, Persia, Greece and Rome under different names. The reader is in for many surprises in this section, which is graced with many excellent color plates. Dumond’s research deserves a special accolade, as it is truly most impressive. His superb referencing of his sources too is of the highest standard.

We are also taken along to Egypt where we are being shown how the ten plagues of Egypt were specifically targeted at the ten major gods of Egypt. This truly is a most fascinating study accompanied with wonderful full color pictures of their gods, which explain their role in Egyptian society. They also illustrate the plagues, and how in each case they are being thoroughly humbled by the plagues called forth by Moses. Joseph Dumond also demonstrates how these same gods, who are no gods, are being worshipped around the world even today, with all roads leading back to Babylon. Sadly, this is very much the case with Christianity too. The whole point of the exercise is that Yehovah is visiting the same plagues upon our sinful society today.

Brief allusion was also made to Esau weeping before his father Isaac, after he had been beaten to the blessing by Jacob. Isaac blessed him by saying: “By your sword shall you live, and you shall serve your brother; and it shall come to pass, when you become restless, that you shall break his yoke from your neck.” (Genesis 27:14). Later on he vowed that he: “Would kill his brother Jacob!” The ominously plain fact is that he will be given the opportunity to do so in the near future!

Obey!

Finally at numerous points in this work the author stresses the point that – When we obey Yehovah and DO His commandments and observe His Torah, we will not be harmed by five curses of the Book of Leviticus chapter 26, the 7 seals of Revelation, the 7 Trumpet plagues, and the 7 plagues in bowls will not harm us. When we obey we can drink the cup of the bitter waters given to the Sotah woman, knowing we are not straying, but that we are earnestly obeying Yehovah, who will bless us and keep us, and not do us any harm.

The Ten Days of Awe is a sublime conclusion to Joseph Dumond’s Elijah Trilogy, in which the author has surpassed himself.

In my view this is a true Biblical Masterpiece which I recommend

with all my heart.

10 DAYS OF AWE – BOOK REVIEW

============================

This final book in the Elijah Trilogy describes what the 10 days of awe are, what the bitter water test of jealousy is, why our Heavenly Redeemer is jealous, and when this test of jealousy is.   The “why” part is what makes this set of books so extensive and emotionally arduous.  Yehovah does not only reveal the timing of his judgment, but He is fair and just to reveal why judgment must occur – this fact is what makes this author’s revelations from his studies of the scriptures so profound.

Even if you have already begun your personal walk in a Torah obedient lifestyle, you will be saddened at what you learn from this book about the bitter days ahead for the world.  If you have not repented, then this book may be one of the most troubling books that you have ever read… because, even if you disagree, you will know that it presents a solid case.

So, what should you tell others about this last edition in the Elijah Trilogy?  That’s the point of a review, right?  Well, that’s a tough one… it’s a book that requires a foundation.  Sure, tell people to read it.  However, Jeremiah 2:13, mentioned in this Elijah Trilogy, speaks of the wrong of people creating for themselves broken cisterns that can hold no water.  The knowledge in this book be something that many cannot hold.  It’s nothing against this incredible book, but perhaps one of the other books at Sightedmoon would be a better first choice for them.  The first book in the Elijah Trilogy, The Restoration of All Things, is a good place to start to see how those cisterns were broken and how they are being repaired.

Here is my ‘before I read the book” review:
I want to learn what God has to say about the next ten years.  That is why I am planning to read Joseph Dumond’s book The 10 Days of Awe.  Mr. Dumond searches the Scriptures with due attention to context and Hebrew meaning of the words God chose.  He then presents a straight forward analysis with Bible references quoted at length and detailed footnotes of his research.  Mr. Dumond is deeply interested in history and personally visits the locations and searches the archives to determine the pertinent facts that enhance the Bible reader’s understanding.
I have read most of his books, all of which supplement and augment my understanding of Scriptures.  He urges the reader to take God at His word, trust, and act accordingly.

Shalom brother Joe!!,

1st and foremost I want to thank you for allowing the unedited version to be available for the monthly subscribers to read via PDF, THIS IS A TIME SENSITIVE READING!!

I’m at page 300 and I would have written a review sooner but have found it hard to break away from reading the 10 days of awe, this book has blown my mind in details of whats described in the Words of God of the last days and the fulfilling of the fall feast at this time.

This information you provide is due for our time RIGHT NOW and how important it is to OBEY Yehovah’s Word because the harvest is ripe!!

This book is packed with the information and an eye opener about the bitter waters that are soon to be here, which is already being presented in the world as we know it!! This book, along with the other 2 books from the Elijah trilogy is eye opening and makes you see the world through a different set of eyes and puts my hope in the creator of this universe of His saving grace and mercy He will show to those who obey. Just like the Hebrews in the land of Egypt, we are fixing to come out of this world of Egypt for a 2nd mass exodus being led by the Most High, Yehovah!!

Sorry for the short review but I’ve got to get back to reading the rest of this book!!

Much Shalom and may Yehovah bless you and keep you brother Joe!!

Dear Joe,
    • On a personal note, I would just like to share my opinion on your Ten Days of Awe book. I am still living in the afterglow of having finished reading it from cover to cover, only to say it has hugely impacted me. It really is an awesome read, and without exaggeration it is a Biblical Masterpiece. Some of its amazing content was still coming back to me early this morning when I was still slumbering in bed, and I just could not get it out of my head. I would say you have created an exceptional and razor sharp historical essay of  the ancient secrets behind the religions of Babylon and Egypt. You have given us a look behind the scenes, and lifted the lid on all their horrible hidden secrets, and you demonstrated how all the religions of the world, especially including Christianity, have effectively been sired by the pagan poison of the Babylonian mystery religion. Apart from this you unveiled so many astounding Scriptural revelations, that any true seeker after truth would feel spoiled by Yehovah Himself. On top of all of this, you have also given us an amazing compass not only indicating, but also giving us the precise timing of all the prophetic milestones we, as Messiah’s true disciples will encounter in the next ten year year journey to our ultimate destiny in the Holy Land. In reading I felt compelled, if not driven to get to the end of your book & even now, days later I am still savouring the effects.
    • From a grateful heart – Thank you Joe for being a true instrument in His most righteous Hands!
    • With love & blessings,
                Stephen

Restoration of All Things

Restoration of All Things

It Was A Riddle Not A Command

With Feast of Trumpets Now here you should all have a copy of this book to understand and know the deeper things of this Amazing Feast.

It Was A Riddle Not A Command

Yehshua always spoke in parables publicly.

Matthew 13:34 Jesus spoke all these things to the crowds in parables, and He did not speak to them without a parable, so that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.”

He did this on purpose so they would not understand.

Matthew 13:10-17 And the disciples said to Him, Why do You speak to them in parables?

He answered and said to them, Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.

For whoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance. But whoever does not have, from him shall be taken away even that which he has.

Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not; nor do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah which said, “By hearing you shall hear and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see and shall not perceive; for this people’s heart has become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes, lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”

But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear what you hear, and have not heard them.

Yehshua spoke about the 5 Foolish Virgins in a parable.

Matthew 25:11-13 Afterwards the other virgins came also, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

But he answered and said, Truly I say to you, I do not know you.

Therefore watch, for you do not know either the day or the hour in which the Son of Man comes.

The expression “No Man Knows the Day or the Hour” is what Yehshua was speaking about in the previous chapter, Matthew 24:36 and here He is using the same expression in this parable again.

This is what most Christians use to dismiss any and all end time prophecies as being false teachings. They do not realize it was a parable meant to say something and hide the truth from those who hearts have grown stupid which is what that word gross means when Isaiah says their hearts have become gross.

Yehshua was telling the foolish they would not and could not know the day or the hour and at the same time telling the wise the precise time He would return on.

The question is which one of the virgins are you?

Order the book and find out which one you are and learn how to change from being a foolish virgin to one of the 5 Wise Virgins.

If you want to understand the Feast of Trumpets…if you want to know about Yehshua birthday, if you want to get the basics understanding of the 10 days of Awe, which we are about publish then you need to read this book as your foundation.

Order the book so you never have to hear the words, I never knew you.

Torah Portion

Torah Portions

We read through the entire Torah along with the Prophets and the New Testament, once over the course of 3 1/2 years. Or according to the Sabbatical Cycle which means we read it all twice over a 7-year period. This allows us to cover more in-depth rather than being rushed to cover as much as is covered on an annual basis. We allow all to comment and take part in the discussions.

Septennial Torah Portion

If you go to Torah Portion at our archived section, you can then go to the 7th year which is the 7th year of the Sabbatical Cycle, the one we are in now, as we state at the top of every News Letter. There you can scroll down to the proper date, and see that this Shabbat we could very well be midrashing about:

Deuteronomy 14

1 Chronicles 14-15

Colossians 1-2

If you missed last week’s exciting discoveries as we studied that section, you can go and watch past Shabbats on our media section.

Join Our Sabbath Meetings

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers songs and teaching from this hour.

Shabbat Services will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.

On the Holy Day, Shavuot, we will be having two meetings. One at 10 AM Eastern and the afternoon will be 2 PM Eastern. Look forward to seeing you all there.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

Joseph Dumond is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Numbers and the Abomination

Allow me to add to what you are about to read and watch.

Kadesh means Holy and Bar Nea means Wing and shaking from which we get wilderness. It can also mean a fugitive. And it was in this area biblically known as Kadesh Barnea that the slaughter on October 7, 2023, took place.

Kadesh Barnea is a region located in the Desert of Zin that is mentioned numerous times in the Old Testament. It was located somewhere along the border of Edom and Israel, southwest of the Dead Sea. Kadesh Barnea, sometimes simply called Kadesh, is connected to many significant events in Israel’s history, specifically in the Pentateuch. The name Kadesh Barnea is thought to mean “the holy place of the desert of wandering.”

Kadesh Barnea served as a place of combat in the book of Genesis when Abraham fought the Amalekites there (Genesis 14:7). It is ironic that the very place where Abraham experienced victory over the Amalekites is where the Israelites later failed to believe that God would give them victory in acquiring the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 9:23). The account in Genesis also includes Hagar’s meeting with the Angel of the Lord “between Kadesh and Bered” after she was mistreated by Sarah (Genesis 16:14).

Kadesh Barnea seems to have been a regular camping spot for the Israelites throughout their years of desert wandering (Numbers 13:26; 20:1, 14; 33:36). It was at Kadesh that Miriam died and was buried (Numbers 20:1).

Two significant events that occurred at Kadesh Barnea were the Israelites’ faithless refusal to possess the Promised Land (Numbers 13:32–33) and their opposition to Moses at not having enough water (Numbers20:2–5). These two events, marked by unbelief, grumbling, and disobedience, directly affected Moses, Aaron, and the Israelites.

The men who had left Kadesh Barnea to scout out the Promised Land, except for Caleb and Joshua, failed to believe that God could give them possession of Canaan (Numbers 14:30; Joshua 14:7). Instead, they insisted that the people of Canaan, who included the Nephilim, were too powerful for them to fight. The ten scouts bringing the evil report persuaded the people that the land would be impossible to acquire (Numbers 13:32–33). Because of their failure to believe, the Israelites had to wander in the desert for another 38 years, waiting until all those who were 20 years and older died, so that the next generation could take possession of the land (Numbers 14:29; Deuteronomy 2:14).

Years later, Moses and Aaron were also denied entrance into the Promised Land because of their disobedience to God at Kadesh Barnea. God had instructed Moses to speak to the rock to bring forth water for the grumbling Israelites, but he disobeyed by striking the rock twice (Numbers 20:12). Because the Israelites had failed to believe and obey the Lord, their arrival into the land “flowing with milk and honey” was postponed until Joshua led the younger generation out of the wilderness by the command of the Lord.

In the desert of wandering, the Israelites experienced plagues, death, and testing. The Israelites failed the tests that took place in Kadesh Barnea, and that remained etched in their memory forever. Their unbelief led to the postponement of entering Canaan and claiming God’s blessings (Psalm 95:8–11; Hebrews 3:7–19). May we not follow the unbelief of those who did not trust God to fulfill His promises. When times of testing come, may we display the faith that Joshua and Caleb had in trusting God at Kadesh Barnea.

Numbers and the Abomination

Shalom everyone,

Such as it is this is the study guide for tonight’s topic.

Numbers in Bemidbar

08/14/5859AA

42 ÷ 7 = 6

Yes! There is an obvious play on words in the title of this study. If anyone is unaware of the play on words it is the fact that the Book of Numbers in the English Bible is called Bemidbar (במדברא) in the Hebrew Scriptures. In other words, the translation of Bemidbar into English as Numbers misses the whole point of the Book of Bemidbar.

Why am I doing this study when we are not even in Bemidbar? That is very easy to explain, it is Sonia’s fault. Sonia did some excellent research into the group of people at a music festival who were allegedly killed by Hamas, on the opening day of hostilities between Hamas and Israel. It was very coincidental that the music festival looked very much like what must have taken place while Mosheh was up on Mt. Sinai receiving the covenant. ((Why did I say allegedly? Remember Sun Tzu: “All war is deception.” Remember 9/11.))

[DISCLAIMER: For the purposes of this study I have taken into account the actual crossing of the ]

[Red Sea was actually the crossing of the Sea of Reeds at La Neweiba Beach in the eastern Sinai ]

[Peninsula. If you do not believe this to be the case then stop here and go no further, the distances ][will be off by 150 miles or more. If however, you believe the Children of Yisra’el did in fact cross ]

[at La Nuweiba Beach your are now less than 20 miles of the location being discussed. If you believe ]

[the accuracy of Egyptian records you are now less than 5 miles of the location being discussed. ]

In short, the Book of Bemidbar is about the 42 journeys, more on this later, of the Children of Yisra’el while wandering in the Wilderness. ((Wilderness does not equal desert.)) Before I go any further I want to show you something about the word Bemidbar. The root word is debar and the Mem is a prefix that is added to the root word to indicate a wilderness. A wilderness is a large expanse of uncharted terrain. This means that the Children of Yisrael are going into an area that no one else has ever charted. The Bet is also a prefix and it meaning is “In”, therefore, its superficial meaning is “in the wilderness”. This is the superficial meaning so, we need to examine it a little closer.

The Hebrew word “Debar” or d-b-r (H1696) (dbr) means “word” or “to speak”. Now add to that the paleo-Hebrew letter “Mem” or which represents chaos, water, or people and then the paleo-Hebrew letter “Bet” or which represents the floor plan of a tent but can mean a house, household or family. Now put these concepts together and you will see “The family of the people of the Word.” Or, as I have said many times we must go into the Wilderness to find the Word: Mat_4:1 Then יהושע was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tried by the devil.

Mar_1:12 And immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness.

Mar_1:13 And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tried by Satan, and was with the wild beasts. And the messengers attended Him.

Luk 4:1 And יהושע, being filled with the Set-apart Spirit, returned from the Yarděn and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

Luk 4:2 being tried for forty days by the devil. And in those days He did not eat at all, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry.

Now, do you see the purpose of the Wilderness. It is a place of testing, trial, spiritual hardship. Is it a coincidence that Yeshu’a was in the Wilderness for 40 days and the Children of Yisra’el were in the Wilderness for 40 years? No. The number 40 in Scripture can represent many things: trial, testing purification, probation or even transformation. Were the Children of Yisra’el the same people that left Egypt? No. All the old unfaithful ones had died off and only Mosheh, Yehoshua, Caleb and the Levites were left from the original group. Just before Mosheh dies he declares them to be a people: Deu_29:13 in order to establish you today as a people for Himself, and He Himself be your Elohim, as He has spoken to you, and as He has sworn to your fathers, to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Ya‛aqoḇ.

Leaving Egypt they were a people who did not even know the Name of their God: Exo 3:13 And Mosheh said to Elohim, “See, when I come to the children of Yisra’ěl and say to them, ‘The Elohim of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His Name?’ what shall I say to them?”

About to enter into the Promise Land they now know His Name and He has spoken(H1696 – debar) to them directly and have witnessed His Presence in the column of cloud and pillar of fire and eaten of His Manna (Yeshu’a: John 6:31-58). This was now a very different group of people.

The Location:

As stated in the Disclaimer it is difficult to know precisely where the location of Kadesh is today but using clues that we have in Scripture, such as Shur, Brook of Egypt, King’s Highway, Bered and Gerar, etc. we can get very close. If we incorporate ancient Egyptian records, such as the Amarna Letters, et al, we are very close to identifying the location of Kadesh (Kadesh Barnea, Marah and Meribah). Our first clues are here: Gen 16:14 That is why the well was called Be’ěr Laḥai Ro’i, see, it is between Qaḏěsh and Bereḏ.

Gen 20:1 And Aḇraham set out from there to the land of the South, and dwelt between Qaḏěsh and Shur, and stayed in Gerar.

What is common to all of these places? Besor Brook: Re’im (Hebrew: רֵעִי , lit. ’Friends’) is a secular kibbutz in southern Israel, and one of the Gaza vicinity villages. Located at the confluence of Besor Stream and Gerar Stream in the north-western Negev desert. (Courtesy of Wikipedia)

Why is this important? “Supernova Sukkot Gathering was a weekend-long outdoor trance music festival that began on 6 October 2023. It took place in the western Negev desert, approximately 5 km (3.1 mi) from the Gaza–Israel barrier, near kibbutz Re’im.” (Source: Wikipedia)

Note: Sonia and Pamela have sent out emails to hopefully everyone, so that you can have pictures or snapshots of information relative to the Supernova Sukkot Gathering so, I will not reproduce those snapshots in the text of this study.

Using the geographical information at our disposal we can see that the Supernova Festival was near the ancient site of Kadesh. Please note, this is not the location that is acceptable to modern Bible scholars which place it as much as 150 miles to the west. Some scholars place it 20 miles to the east and slightly north of modern day Re’im Israel.

You are probably asking, “Why is Biblical Kadesh/Qadesh important?” First, let’s look at the meaning of Kadesh = H6946 – קדשׁ – qâdêsh – BDB Definition: Kadesh = “holy” 1) a city in the extreme south of Judah 1a) same as ‘Kedesh’ and ‘Kadesh-barnea’. Kadesh/Qadesh = Holy, Set-Apart.

YHVH had brought the Children of Yisra’el to a place in His view that was holy and the people complained bitterly calling it evil:Isa 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Isa 5:21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and clever in their own sight!

Let’s examine it and find out if it is important: Num 13:23 And they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and cut down from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two upon a staff; and they brought of the pomegranates, and of the figs.

Num 13:24 The place was called the brook Eshcol, because of the cluster of grapes which the children of Israel cut down from thence.

Num 13:25 And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.

Num 13:26 And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.

The above passages are the first time that we can place the Children of Yisra’el at the location of Kadesh. This is site of the rebellion of Yisra’el against YHVH and Mosheh because of the evil report of the 10 spies. This is not the first rebellion to take place in the journeys of Yisra’el. Let’s look at another.

Exo 17:7 And he called the name of the place Massah and Meriḇah, because of the ‘strife’ of the children of Yisra’ěl, and because they ‘tried’ יהוה, saying, “Is יהוה in our midst or not?”

I think it is only natural to want to know where Massah and Meribah are so we can see if there is a connection. (KJV)Num_27:14 For ye rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: that is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.

Deu_32:51 Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

Looking at Genesis 20:1, Numbers 13:26, Numbers 27:16 and Deuteronomy32:51 it appears the Kadesh is at the juncture of two separate and identifiable wildernesses Tsin/Zin and Paran and also the Desert of Shur in Genesis 20:1. As modern scholars believe that Tzin and Paran run East and West Tzin north of Paran there is not point of juncture but, if the map is reoriented 60 degrees more North and South, then the point of juncture for all 3 would then be Qadesh. It would be the eastern edge of Shur, the northeastern edge of Paran and the northwestern edge of Tzin. This would explain why it is associated with all three Shur, Tzin and Paran.

This would beg the question, “Are we sure where Shur is? We are very sure going from Scriptural references that Shur was opposite or east of Egypt on the road from Egypt to Assyria. Please note:

Gen 16:7 And the Messenger of יהוה found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur,

Gen 25:18 And they dwelt from Ḥawilah as far as Shur, which is east of Mitsrayim as you go toward Ashshur. He settled before all his brothers.

1Sa 15:7 And Sha’ul struck the Amalěqites, from Ḥawilah all the way to Shur, which is before Mitsrayim.

Is there any problem with this location in Scripture? Yes, there is one based on what we know about Shur right now and here it is: Exo 15:22 And Mosheh brought Yisra’ěl from the Sea of Reeds, and they went out into the Wilderness of Shur. And they went three days in the wilderness and found no water.

Exo 15:23 And they came to Marah, and they were unable to drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. So the name of it was called Marah.

As you can see in these Scriptures it is after Mosheh and the Children of Yisra’el go into the Wilderness of Shur and to Marah. Whether you believe in the crossing of the Red Sea or the Reeds Sea this is a major problem as to the location of Shur and Marah. I guess I should stop right here and forget about it. But, what if Shur and Marah are not place names but descriptions. I have never set foot in the Sinai nor Saudi Arabia but I have seen it from the air and for those of you who have been to the Sinai and stood at La Neweiba Beach and looked toward Saudi Arabia, what do you see directly in front of you? Is it not the Midyan Mountains of Saudi Arabia? Does it not appear as a wall to your forward progress? Is there bitter water in that region ahead? What if Shur is just a wall of mountains and the desert before and around it called the Wilderness of Shur? What if the water found in that wilderness that the Israelites found was just “bitter” water not the name of the waterhole? I know it is a lot of “what ifs” but it may explain this obvious discrepancy. For those of you who have been there, and seen the terrain close up, you can tell me how wrong I am.

If this is the case I have no reason to stop my investigation into the possible location of Qadesh. It is important to note that it is Meribah that is identified as the reason for Aharon and Mosheh both not being allowed to enter the Promise Land: Num 20:24 “Aharon is to be gathered to his people, for he is not to enter the land which I have given to the children of Yisra’ěl, because you rebelled against My mouth at the water of Meriḇah.

Deu 32:51 because you trespassed against Me in the midst of the children of Yisra’ěl at the waters of Meriḇah Qaḏěsh, in the Wilderness of Tsin, because you did not set Me apart in the midst of the children of Yisra’ěl.

It was at this point that I began to get very suspicious of modern day Biblical maps but before I go to far let’s look at how many rebellions there were among the Children of Yisra’el:

  1. Num 11:1 And it came to be, when the people were as complainers, it was evil in the ears of יהוה. And יהוה heard it, and His displeasure burned. And the fire of יהוה burned among them, and consumed those in the outskirts of the camp.
  2. Num 12:1 Now Miryam and Aharon spoke against Mosheh because of the Kushite woman whom he had taken, for he had taken a Kushite woman.
  3. Num 14:1 Then all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night.

Num 14:2 And all the children of Yisra’ěl grumbled against Mosheh and against Aharon, and all the congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Mitsrayim! Or if only we had died in this wilderness!

4. Num 16:1 And Qoraḥ, son of Yitshar, son of Qehath, son of Lěwi, took both Dathan and Aḇiram the sons of Eliyaḇ, and On, son of Peleth, sons of Re’uḇěn,

Num 16:2 and they rose up before Mosheh with some of the children of Yisra’ěl, two hundred and fifty leaders of the congregation, called ones of the meeting, men of name.

Num 16:3 And they assembled against Mosheh and against Aharon, and said to them, “Enough of you! For all the congregation is set-apart, all of them, and יהוה is in their midst. Why then do you lift up yourselves above the assembly of יהוה?”

    1. Num 16:41 But all the congregation of the children of Yisra’ěl grumbled against Mosheh and against Aharon on the next day, saying, “You, you have killed the people of יהוה.”
    2. Num 20:1 And the children of Yisra’ěl, all the congregation, came into the Wilderness of Tsin in the first new moon, and the people stayed in Qaḏěsh. And Miryam died there and was buried there.

Num 20:2 Now there was no water for the congregation and they assembled against Mosheh and against Aharon.

Num 20:3 And the people contended with Mosheh and spoke, saying, “If only we had died when our brothers died before יהוה!

7. Num 21:5 And the people spoke against Elohim and against Mosheh, “Why have you brought us up out of Mitsrayim to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our being loathes this light bread.”

Out of 42 “journeys” the Children of Yisra’el rebelled 7 times – 42 ÷ 7 = 6. The number seven represents YHVH’s Perfect Creation and the number 6 is the number of “man”. Man is always rebelling against YHVH, even today, in that most of mankind does not keep Torah.

Here is my thesis; We can definitely place 3 of the rebellions at Meribah/Kadesh in Paran but what if we could place all 7 of these rebellions against YHVH in the same locale? Is it possible? Not with our current knowledge about the journeys of the Children of Yisra’el as it exist, primarily, based on the assumption of Mt. Sinai being in the Sinai Peninsula, which I think most of us in this Qahal reject. But I do believe that at least two more can be placed at Meribah/Qadesh and they are Qiḇroth Hatta’awah and also Taberah.

You could argue, even if we could place all 7 at Kadesh, what would it prove? This would be a great question and it really wouldn’t prove anything except that Kadesh/Qadesh was a historical site of rebellion against YHVH and His commands and that YHVH had called it Qadesh = holy, set-apart.

If we can reasonably infer that Kadesh/Qadesh is near the site of Re’im Israel, where a group of people were gathered during the feast of Sukkot, to praise and worship gods other than YHVH, in a grove (Asherim) of trees, were they in fact inciting an eighth rebellion? I don’t know but it seems like an huge coincidence, if in fact, the thesis of this study is correct.

Is this all? No. I think we need to look at the nature of the rebellions. Remember, most of Torah is written as a Chiasm so there is a topic within a topic.

Rebellions:

  1. Rebellion against the Manna (Yeshu’a), lust for meat and Mosheh complains; and fire in the camp and plague of the quail;

  2. Miriam and Aharon speak against Mosheh because of his first wife, Tharbis, princess of Kush;

  3. Grumbling (rebellion) against Mosheh and Aharon;

  4. Rebellion of Qorah against leaving Egypt and against the leadership of Mosheh;

  5. Rebellion (grumbling) against Mosheh and Aharon;

  6. People quarreled with Mosheh;

  7. People spoke against YHVH and Mosheh;

What was the result of Rebellion 1? Fire in the camp – Num. 11:1.

What was the result of Rebellion 7? Fiery serpents in the camp – Num. 21:6.

Notice a relationship?

What was the result of Rebellion 2? Mosheh’s siblings betray him – Num. 12:1.

What was the result of Rebellion 4? Aharon and Mosheh’s kinsmen betray them – Num. 16:2.

Notice a relationship?

What was the result of Rebellion 3? The whole camp rose up against Mosheh and Aharon Num. 14:1-2.

What was the result of Rebellion 6? The whole camp rose up against Mosheh and Aharon Num. 20:1-3.

What was the result of Rebellion 7? The whole camp rose up against Mosheh and YHVH Num. 21:5.

I know I have made mistakes in compiling this list but hopefully I have given you enough so that you can follow along.

Reexamining the Abomination of Desolation

While I was preparing this weeks Newsletter, Adam Parker sent me this study he wanted me to look at. I did not have time all week to do so, but only looked at it after I had completed the Newsletter. It too added to what we are examining this week—another inspired moment.

Now look at Matthew.

Matthew 24:15 “So when you see (G3708) the ‘abomination (G946 – H8251 from H8262) that lays

Retranslated:
Mattthew 24:15 “So when you can clearly understand about the weeping that is inflicted through a
filthy, detestable thing that astonishes, devastates and destroys, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
stirred up on the set-apart saints at the festival during a time of celebration and dancing were fear and
terror are given opportunity– he who reads (Isaiah 29:9-13), let him understand 16 “then let those who
are in Yehuḏah flee to the mountains. 17 “Let him who is on the house-top not come down to take
whatever out of his house. 18 “And let him who is in the field not turn back to get his garments. 19 “And
woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing children in those days!
20 “And pray that your flight does not take place in winter (winter starts in the 7th month) or on the
Sabbath (10/7/2023 was a weekly Sabbath, Hillel High Sabbath and a Sabbatical year). 21 “For then
there shall be great distress (G2347 – H6869), such as has not been since the beginning of the world
until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
H6869 – ה ָׁרָׁצ tsârâh, tsaw-raw’; feminine of H6862; tightness (i.e. figuratively, trouble); transitively, a
female rival, a rival wife:—adversary, adversity, affliction, anguish, distress, tribulation, trouble.
Isaiah 29:9 Pause and wonder! Blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunk, but not with wine; they
stagger, but not with strong drink. 10 For יהוה has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep, and has
closed your eyes, the prophets. And He has covered your heads, the seers.
11 And the entire vision is to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men give to one who
knows books, saying, “Read this, please.” And he said, “I am unable, for it is sealed.” 12 And the book is
given to one who does not know books, saying, “Read this, please.” And he said, “I have not known
books.” 13 And יהוה says, “Because this people has drawn near with its mouth, and with its lips they
have esteemed Me, and it has kept its heart far from Me, and their fear of Me has become a command
of men that is taught!

Yet Another Abomination In Israel

Yet Another Abomination In Israel

This was not in the place we were looking for but it is exactly what we were expecting where we were looking.

Patriarch Pizzaballa consecrates Holy Land to Immaculate Heart of Mary

In the midst of the war between Israel and Hamas, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, consecrates the Holy Land to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

By Sr. Nina Benedikta Krapić, VMZ

Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, performed an Act of Consecration of the Holy Land to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, on Sunday, 29 October, the Solemnity of the Virgin Mary, Queen of Palestine and the Holy Land.

Celebrating Mass in the Marian Shrine of Deir Rafat, the Patriarch consecrated the Church, all humanity, the peoples of the Middle East, and especially the people of the Holy Land to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

In the Act of Consecration, he invoked Mary’s help amid the war gripping the Holy land.

He prayed that she might watch over those who suffer, flee from bombardments, or have lost family members in the war.

“We now knock on the door of your heart,” he prayed. “We are your beloved children. We are confident that, in the most troubled moments of our history, you will not be deaf to our supplication and will come to our aid.”

Fading fraternity

Patriarch Pizzaballa prayed that the Blessed Mother will guide world leaders and those who decide the destiny of nations, so that they might decide according to justice and truth, and work for the common good.

He recalled Mary’s words to her Son Jesus at the Wedding at Cana: “They have no wine” (Jn 2:3).

“Now, O Mother, repeat those words, for in our own day we have run out of the wine of hope, joy has fled, fraternity has faded,” he said. “We have forgotten our humanity and squandered the gift of peace. How greatly we need your maternal help!”

The Act of Consecration took place during Mass at the Marian Shrine of Deir Rafa, and included a procession with the icon of the Virgin Mary, Queen of Palestine.

Increasing death toll

According to the Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza, over 8,000 people have been killed, including 3,500 children, in Israeli strikes on Gaza since 7 October when Hamas attacked Israel, killing over 1,400 people.

Get Ready!

Get Ready!

I have been telling you now for some time to get ready. I have said so for quite some time now.

But, many of you are not hearing me and think I am telling you to stock up on food and water and become a prepper. Although you should do these things, this is not what I am telling you. You should already be stocked up for the Sabbatical Year this year from Aviv 2023 to Aviv 2024.

No, what I have been saying since we began sightedmoon.com in 2005 is to get back with Yehovah. To return to obeying Him and DOING His Torah.

I have been telling you not to mix your conspiracy crap with Torah, to which many of you object and push back each week, declaring that syncretism of Yehovah’s word, His Torah, with your mixture of religions, is alright. All you have to do is love, and God knows your heart, you say.

We have just had an awful example of the Jealousy of Yehovah over His people. As we are showing you this week, the people in Israel who were attacked and slaughtered by Hamas were all Jews by birth. I am not presuming to judge any of them, but we also know that some were taking part in a Qaia, Mother Earth Rave, in which an image of Bauddha was the central god they all were dancing around. They had become complacent with the Torah and other religions mixing them together.

So, what is it I am telling you to do by getting ready?

In our Shabbat study, we showed you how, unless you have the righteousness of Noah, Job and Daniel, you will not be saved. Just because you know them, will not save you. Just because you attend the same church as they do will not save you. You must get righteous with Yehovah.

What does that look like?

When Hamas slaughtered the people of Israel on Oct 7, 2023, they also took over 200 hostages. As of this publishing, there has only been one person who was rescued and 4 others who were set free. I am writing about the one who was rescued.

I want you to watch what the mother of this captured female soldier does. Watch how she goes directly to Yehovah. If you think you have seen this before, you need to watch it again and again and again. Watch how Yehovah hears the prayers of those who call on His name.

Faith
By Jeff A. Benner
אֱמוּנָה emunah

Behold, he whose soul is not upright in him shall fail, but the righteous shall live by his faith. (Habakkuk 2:4 – ASV)

What does it mean to have “faith” from an Hebraic perspective? In our western minds faith is a mental exercise in knowing that someone or something exists or will act. For instance, if we say “I have faith in God” we are saying “I know that God exists and that he will do what he says he will do”.

The Hebrew word for faith is אמונה (emunah – Strong’s #530) and is an action oriented word meaning “support”. This is important because the Western concept of faith places the action on the one you have faith in, such as “faith in God”. But, the Hebrew word אמונה places the action on the one who “supports God”. It is not a knowing that God will act, but rather I will do what I can to support God. This idea of support for the word emunah can be seen in Exodus 17:12.

But Moses’ hands grew weary; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat upon it, and Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; so his hands were steady (emunah)until the going down of the sun.

It is the support/emunah of Aaron and Hur that held of Moses’ arms, not the support/emunah of Moses. When we say “I have faith in God”, we should be thinking “I will do what I can to support God”.

Gen 15:5  And He brought him outside and said, Look now toward the heavens and count the stars, if you are able to count them. And He said to him, So shall your seed be.

Gen 15:6  And he believed in Jehovah. And He counted it to him for righteousness.

Gen 15:7  And He said to him, I am Jehovah that brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land to inherit it.

Gal 3:2  This only I would learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

Gal 3:3  Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, do you now perfect yourself in the flesh?

Gal 3:4  Did you suffer so many things in vain, if indeed it is even in vain?

Gal 3:5  Then He supplying the Spirit to you and working powerful works in you, is it by works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

Gal 3:6  Even as Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness.

Gal 3:7  Therefore know that those of faith, these are the sons of Abraham.

Gal 3:8  And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the nations through faith, preached the gospel before to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all nations be blessed.”

Gal 3:9  So then those of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

Abraham believed and then moved his feet and did what Yehovah said. He took action to obey Him.

Now let me again ask you. Are You Getting Ready?

What are you doing to support Yehovah’s Kingdom? I am not asking for money here. I am asking you what are you doing to further the Kingdom of Yehovah? How are you blessing Yehovah? What are you doing to get ready for His Kingdom which will begin to be set up in just 10 years’ time?

During the coming persecution, how is your faith going to play out? You can see it around the world as nations and groups stand up in opposition to the attacks Israel is now doing. Groups in Russia are actively searching out Jews to lynch them. Universities across the USA and the world are attacking Jews because they are Jews.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

—Martin Niemöller

You may not have money, or a website or a social following. But all of you do have a voice and all of you can take some sort of action. You can post on social media and speak out on behalf of Yehovah and His Kingdom. What you can do is only limited by your own fear which causes you to do nothing.

Mat 25:14  For it is as if a man going abroad called hisown servants and gave them his goods.

Mat 25:15  And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to each according to his ability. And he went abroad at once.

Mat 25:16  And going he who had received the five talents traded with them, and made another five talents.

Mat 25:17  And likewise he who had received two, he also gained another two.

Mat 25:18  But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the earth and hid his lord’s silver.

Mat 25:19  After a long time the lord of those servants came and took account with them.

Mat 25:20  And so he who had received five talents came and brought another five talents, saying, Lord, you delivered five talents to me. Behold, I have gained five talents above them.

Mat 25:21  His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful over a few things; I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.

Mat 25:22  He also who had received two talents came and said, Lord, you delivered two talents to me. Behold, I have gained two other talents above them.

Mat 25:23  His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.

Mat 25:24  And he who had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew that you were a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter.

Mat 25:25  And I was afraid and went and hid your talent in the earth. Lo, you have yours.

Mat 25:26  His lord answered and said to him, Evil and slothful servant! You knew that I reaped where I did not sow, and gathered where I did not scatter,

Mat 25:27  then you should have put my money to the exchangers, and coming I would have received my own with interest.

Mat 25:28  Therefore take the talent from him and give itto him who has ten talents.

Mat 25:29  For to everyone who has, more shall be given, and he will abound. But from him who has not, even that which he has shall be taken away from him.

Mat 25:30  And throw the unprofitable servant into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Again, what are you doing to get ready? How are you working to further the Kingdom of Yehovah?

During the next 7 years, we will be facing persecution and death. We will see many horrific things. But we must be doing a work. We must be supporting those doing the work by holding up their arms. Your prayers begging Yehovah for more to be rescued and restored to the Torah, more to come together to do what has to be done to rid the world of Satan and his proxies like Hamas. Your faith can move Yehovah to do mighty things.

Mat 16:24  Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.

Mat 16:25  For whoever desires to save his life shall lose it, and whoever desires to lose his life for My sake shall find it.

Mat 16:26  For what is a man profited if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Mat 16:27  For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He shall reward each one according to his works.

Mat 16:28  Truly I say to you, There are some standing here who shall not taste of death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.

Your prayers are the incense before the thrown of Yehovah. The incense would go up in front of the ark. It represented the prayers of the Saints. Do you pray as though lives depended on the words you said to Yehovah? Do you pray as though your words and your words alone were the only ones reaching HIs ears? Do you talk with Yehovah like you would with your own Father who was the only one who could rescue you? Do you cast yourself before Him knowing He is the supreme and almighty creator? He is not your lucky rabbit’s foot you pull out only when you need Him.

You need to get ready by supporting Yehovah and all He is doing all the time. All the time. If you are not doing this currently then NOW is the time to begin. Watch the video again. See the results. Then watch it again and ask Yehovah for forgiveness as though your family depended on it for their very lives.

Why Do You Keep Coming Back To Sightedmoon.com?

Why Do You Keep Coming Back To Sightedmoon.com?

Last week, we asked those at our Shabbat meeting why they keep returning to Sightedmoon.com? I wanted to know what they were looking for. Allow me to share the replies I received. And if you want to write us, please send your emails to admin@sightedmoon.com.

Many liked that we doggedly stick to the Torah during our studies and do not deviate from that subject.

Let me begin with my first statement or question to our executive team.

Why Do You Come Back To Sightedmoon.com

I have a question for everyone to answer if you would.

Sightedmoon. Has videos, books and Newsletters, answering how we provide what we do.

What we teach is about the Sabbatical and Jubilee years and how they provide us a guide to the end times.

That is the what and how questions.

I was asked today why.

Why do you come back to sightedmoon.com each week? Why do you support this work? Why is sightedmoon.com of interest to you?

And while you answer this, I am looking for why our readership comes back week after week. And then if I can discover the why; why you come here, then I can find an reason to promote why others should be coming here.

If you could answer this in one or two paragraphs it will help us in marketing the what and how we do things here.

Thank you for your help.

Joseph F Dumond

1) When I first heard Joseph Dumond’s teachings in 2020 on the biblical timeline from the creation of Adam, I was drawn to the information and was very curious.  I had been following the Hillel calendar and was observing Purim and Hannukah each year…the sabbatical and jubilee years were for those in the land, right! Praise Yah for leading me to Sighted Moon and Mr Dumond’s teachings.  I have learned so much. I desire and seek truth and here we dig deep into the scriptures and the Hebrew meanings of every word each shabbat…precept upon precept, line upon line. We must prove all things. Thank you, Mr. Dumond, for sharing Yehovah’s truths as revealed to you with us all.

Susan Danielson

2) Sightedmoon fellowship is a reflection of the Body of The Messiah,  an international and intercontinental family, belivers in Yeshuah and The Torah,  from all over the world.

The atmosphere is casual and intimate yet sacred,  like sitting around the table at ease, yet discussing crucial matters.

Mr Dumond is the best moderator I’ve ever met, encouraging everyone to bring their expertise to the table. This is what makes the meetings so irresistible that everyone is encouraged to participate. There’s no transition to the next section without him asking the famous: Anyone else wants to say anything else?

And man, there are debates!!!

Which is exactly what iron sharpens iron, and what helps to grow from milk to meat.

Mr Dumond’s field of expertize in figuring out The Jubilee and The Sabbatical cycles is crucial in understanding where we are in the timeline of HisStory, the relation to the current events and it is really a shofar blast to help us get ready to welcome our King. Frankly, we are urged to repent and get right with our Creator. Thank you so much Sightedmoon!

3) Skeptical at first to even want to log on,  I was like okay who is this strange guy and who are the strange people following a calendar, and these Jubilee / Sabbatical cycles that does not make any sense to me.  But as I started to listen and listen and listen,  I learned and realized it did make sense and things lined up as it was being taught.  These people were not strange , they were just seeking truth in scriptures and Yehovah let them see it, and Yehovah let me see it as well.  Sightedmoon is family,  and they have become my family. I love the learning from the Hebrew root and not just the Biblical translations. There is no other place that I am aware of that teach Torah , this in depth into the scriptures and let you participate in the discussion of the scriptures. This is our church, the place where Yehovah has put us here to learn, volunteer, and put our support into. Joseph is an amazing researcher, teacher, and leader.

Thank you to all for letting us be a part of this journey.

4) I like sighted moon because you are direct & to the point & no BS.  I understand the backbone of your learning from worldwide so I felt more confident to listen to what you have to say.  And I like that you use the word stupid correctly.  Although I have been a part of the conspiracy movement since the early 70’s your teachings made me learn the WHY behind it all.   It has given me a clear path between the two & how it all fits together.

Anita Diltz

5) At first I was really challenged and upset by the teachings at SightedMoon and I rejected it, it was too hard, but I kept being exposed here and there over the years.

Finally in 2020, when the churches all got shut down, I was drawn to this unique community through the Shabbat Zoom room where we were not just TAUGHT the MEAT of the word of God, but was also encouraged to learn to teach, encouraged that it’s NOT just Joe who needs to be proclaiming the message of the Torah and specifically the Sabbatical years and the Jubilees, but we ALL need to learn to teach, from our own personal bent, the Word of God.  And I have grown in my knowledge and understanding, gaining a fuller understanding of what Yehovah means in His Word, through many different voices, and I have taken up the challenge to go and teach to the world what I know from the Torah.

Joe has strongly encouraged us to FOCUS on Torah, and not allow the cares of the world to attract our attention, but to keep our eyes on Yehovah, and not on the “they’s and them’s” of the ways of the world.  I am so thankful for this message to focus, it’s so easy to be lead astray with all the messages out there in the news and social media and even our friends and family.  I love SightedMoon’s focus on what the scripture is telling us about the things to come, I need not fear, I have confidence because Yehovah has gone before me and has brought light to what would otherwise be a dark and scary place/time.

Shabbat shalom brother! To answer your question, I am here because I can’t find fault in your facts. And by the way I highly value the things you have taught me. I’m thankful for the time we had together in Jerusalem. Of which the story is still developing. With the events that have happened since.

Truly inspired by YHVH. Praise Yah in all things.

A couple more ice cream shops and we might get to understand each other. Black cherry

Shalom brother

Hi Joe,

Greetings and blessings to you in the name of YHVH!  Before I answer your question from our sabbath meeting yesterday I want to quickly tell you how I came to Sightedmoon in the first place.  Two years ago I felt very strongly that I needed to decide for myself when the barley was aviv – instead of relying on someone else’s interpretation of when the barley in Israel is Aviv and following their calendar.  I began earnestly searching the internet for teachings on this and I wanted to see the actual barley reports.  YHVH lead me to your website (I had never come across it in the past) and what impressed me the most was that you presented the barley reports – provided the scriptures and said you decide.  It was exactly what I was searching for and NO ONE says you decide – they all said it is ripe (or not ripe), keep the feast days on these dates.  From that point I eventually starting reading your books and to my absolute surprise and delight you had real proof of the sabbatical and jubilee years – something I had wanted to know for years but honestly had given up ever being able to know let alone keep this command in the proper time – it was an answer to prayer, halleluYAH!

The reason I keep returning to the sabbath calls and reading your books is because it is all about Torah and setting ourselves apart.  I respect your torah focus and I appreciate that we can truly wrestle with the word.  I have been in a few sabbath groups and this one is truly special – I love that we can midrash and disagree without yelling and screaming.  I enjoy hearing different and new perspectives – it helps us all grow.  I also really enjoy the Jewish prayers and songs.  It’s nice to have a safe space to ask questions too.

Your books and the sabbath meetings have been such a blessing to me, so THANK YOU!  I truly appreciate your work, and the sacrifices you have made in your personal life to teach us what you have been shown.  I have grown so much in the last two years.

Shalom,

Carrie Abel

Dear Sighted Moon,

Why do I come back? I want to learn more about our calendar and the end times. I really like Joe and believe that he has discovered something unique.

I cannot come on the Sabbath, usually a few days later. The big problem is the big chunk of time it would take to watch the entire Sabbath video.

I have bought at least four books and tried to understand the messages.

One question about planting: I live in Florida and have three seasons, no real winter. Can I plant food crops now? Are we past the Biblical end of the year? If not now, when can I start? Do the same rules apply to flowers?

Thank you and may God bless your ministry,

Suzanna

Teaching entitled earth full of chamas oct 28 2023, Joseph asked question why we all return each week to the sabbath teachings.

This is my answer ( Merrideth Chase).

I have been following all the teachings of Joseph’s since my family first began watching the ten lost tribes teaching back in 2012. Yah directed us. Things that the traditional church was teaching on Sunday worship, Christmas and Easter and yahushuah put in tomb on Friday and rising on Sunday did not add up. Also having never been interested in ancestry, I all of a sudden became completely absorbed in it. I did myself and my husband’s ancestors back to Babylon. Then the Bible became alive to me. It was not just talking about the Jews way far away, I actually felt connected to the history in the Bible. I  accepted Jesus as my savior at a Billy Graham concert in San Jose California when I was 5 years old. My grandmother lived with us and she and my mom always had Christian radio on or televangelists on in the background. I had periods that I  thought I was close to God and then times I was not. He has never left me since before I was born. I was born thee months to soon in 1966. Doctors did not think I would survive. My birth certificate named me as baby girl chase. Had to get it legally changed when I got my social security number to work my first job in 1983. Had anorexia from age 12 to age 30. Doctors gave up on me again. Nearly died at least 6 times during that period. Lowest weight was 55pounds at age 13 and age 16 at 5 feet tall. Basically a footprints in the sand story over and over.

Back to why I keep coming back every sabbath. Joseph’s knowledge of the scriptures is extremely good. He teaches very good so that the concepts make sense. His primary saying is prove what he says for ourselves. He challenges everyone to study what the Bible says!! Every teaching is spot on!!  Going on patterns of Sabbatical and Jubilee years and blood and dark moons, everything he has been saying will happen at this or that time has been backed up my the moon, sun and stars and world happenings right on cue. I have been doing my best to pass on these teachings and encouraging everyone who dare ask to search out what the Bible says about keeping the Torah, the holy days the blessings and curses. So many just can’t get away from the traditional church of Sunday worship and the law done away with. I have purchased many of Joseph’s books 3 times at least because I keep giving them for people to read and understand. Especially keeping the Sabbatical and Jubilee years . Seems most people are just fine with going with the status quo. They don’t want to take the time to read.

Everything that happened in Israel at the time Joseph was there is prophetic. Even when it was time for him to flee as when the Bible says when you see the abomination of desolation, do no go back to get your things, flee to Moab. That is what He did. Even though everyone said the Gates or borders to Jordan were closed, Joseph got through to Moab and was safe!!

Not sue if writing to you yourself Joseph or one of your staff. Let it be known that I have been following your teachings ( every form) consistently as well as a few others that also teach Torah and the entire Bible, since 2012. I cannot get on zoom meetings on my computer. It went baserk and crashed. Just because I am not involved on the zoom meetings, please don’t consider me any less of a supporter than the other staff. If It were possible, I would love to be able to help as the staff does.

I love you Joseph as a brother in Yah!! I consider you my very good friend and family!! Please share if you like. Bye for now. Merrideth Chase. Wish I could find a way to pay your way to visit Ohio and teach. I have plenty of room for you to stay but I do not have enough people to gather  at the moment. I am sure I could get some if you could come to central Ohio.

Merrideth Chase

Joe –

You asked why we keep coming back to Sighted Moon and reading your books and watching your videos.  I can give you three reasons.

  1. After coming to Torah, the first thing I did was read the entire Bible, comparing one word at a time to the Strong’s Concordance.  This is how I learn the Bible. When I became a widow, I did the same thing wondering “what does the Bible say about widows.”  Then I was very repentant.  I had not done my duty by the widows, and I am still sorrowful for that.  I do try to give my time and attention to the widows now.  I also judge every congregation of any type that I come across for their treatment of the widows.  I live in a city filled with churches.  I live within walking distance of at least two big churches.   There are at least 3 Hebrew/Torah based full congregations of people in this city.   To the best of my knowledge, none of them have programs specifically for widows.  I can tell you with certainty that most of us could use the help.

Sighted Moon helps the widow.  Directly.  Not like churches do – give us your money, and some of our programs will probably benefit some widows and some orphans at some point.  No – with SM it’s hands on – here ya go – a blessing from our obedience to YHVH  – true giving directly to the widows.  There’s no other group I know that does the same.

  1. You don’t sell your message and you don’t beg for donations.  I mean, you sell your books and you accept donations, but that’s not what you are doing here.  I know for a fact that you freely give your books away.  To the widow – the orphan – to the poor, because it’s the Sabbth or to someone who just needs to know.  Many years ago I liked to listen to a well-known preacher.  My husband pointed out that the man wore thousand-dollar suits and drove a BMW and look how is wife is dressed.  If this man truly wanted to help people, he would take all that money he spent on his complex of buildings and his lifestyle, and actually help people.  I knew my husband was right.

I hate to go to hear a speaker, and they spend 20 minutes telling me how God loves a cheerful giver and how much they need my money, and both of those things might be true.  But that’s not what I’m there to hear – I don’t mind being asked, but I mind being browbeat with it.  You do what I think they should do – you trust YHVH.  You believe his word, and you know he will provide, and somehow he does.  Again, you ask – but you don’t beg.

  1. You’re right.  All joking aside, you’re right about a lot.

I asked in a chat room one day if anyone knew what happened to the 10 north tribes of Israel, and someone shared a link to your video about that.  It was a really long video, and I was chatting, so I saved it.  Maybe two years later, I woke up on a Shabbat and I had some time to myself, and that video came to mind, so I went and watched it.  I was captivated.  I knew your history was correct because I am a history geek, and I knew your language definitions were correct because I’ve always had an interest in languages and I had the internet right in front of me.  I also knew your Bible info was correct because I have studied the Bible a really long time.

After my husband passed in 2015, I had some time on my hands, so I watched the rest of your videos in that series, and a whole bunch of other videos you made.  I attempted to keep the Shmita in 2016, but I had very little time to prepare.  I didn’t plant or garden that year – but I did buy food from the store.

I didn’t keep the feasts on the correct calendar until fall of 2020 – after we had a series of fires and I woke up in a red world breathing ash.  I didn’t want to keep them on the SM calendar mostly because doing so isolates me from the surrounding Torah keeping community who are my friends and family, which is harder than it was to be alone to begin with.  But I knew that I should try, so I did.  And it was right.  The Father has shown me several ways that it is right.  That you were right.

You’re not always right about what’s going to happen – but based on the calendar that you discovered in the word – you almost always know when it’s going to happen.  Your knowing something was coming with these feasts – that was uncanny.   I think knowing when something is going to happen is more important than knowing what is going to happen.  People predict things with random vagueness – like Nostradamus, then everybody draws lines and ooos and aaahhs over it.  But based on math, history, and the Bible, you can say when, and you happily tell everyone who will listen for free.

You were granted a great measure of discernment, and an ability to find facts and details and bring them together and connect them.  Just like the people building the tabernacle were “blessed” to know their crafts, so you have been blessed in this way.  I would be stupid not to sit in on your lectures, not to support this ministry in the small ways I do, and not to get the word out myself.  I try not to be stupid.

I’ve been saying for decades – repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.  Since 2020, I have felt like I should get a sandwich board and a bell and walk around screaming that – “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near!!”  That is what you are doing.

On another note, I want to tell you a story.  My family has always had an expression – “Are you stupid?”

My parents were not abusive.  In our family, we understood that there was only one right answer to that question, “NO.” Then the parent would say, “I know you’re not stupid.  So why are you acting stupid?”

My parents told us – “A stupid person is someone who cannot or will not learn.  None of my children are stupid people.  I don’t have stupid children.”  We all understood that my parents didn’t consider us stupid, but that sometimes people act stupid.

No one blinked when my mom or dad said it to us, but 20 years later when my kids were little, it caused more than a few gasps and looks whenever I would ask my kids that question.

I do thank everyone who wrote. I appreciate your kind words and helping me to know what is working here at sightedmoon.com. Part of it is being or acting as a family in our discussions and another part is sticking to the Torah. Again thank you all.

If you want to add your story here then please do write me and we will add them for next week.

I admit I know little about this topic, but, I thought I would pass this on. Is it possible, that the abomination is yet to come? Could, Israel loose control of the Holy place to the Muslims in the not-too-distant future? I fear that Israel’s actions in Gaza will draw in many enemies that could take control of parts/much of Israel. Thanks for everything that you folks do.

I keep coming back to Sightedmoon.com because I have been exposed to Biblical truths that I have not heard anywhere else. Although I do not always agree, and Mr. Dumond is not always right, I am very impressed with the fact that he has the desire to continue growing in his understanding of the Almighty and His word. The Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles have also opened my understanding, like nothing else ever have, to end time Biblical prophecies. Mr. Dumond’s explanation of the Bible, although sometimes speculative, is usually plausible. I look forward to continue growing with the team at Sightedmoon.com. The work is excellent. Please never stop doing what you are doing, and thanks for the opportunity to be a part of it. It is truly a privilege.

I keep coming back because this is where I started my understanding and keep learning more. Many years ago I watched your videos and read your newsletter. I went to a weekend teaching in Pennsylvania and met you and other people on this same walk. YeHoVaH is with you.

Definitely interesting times we are living in, times of birth pains. And because of the times we’re in, we are seeing more dear ones coming to Messiah on the streets with miraculous healings and even,,, demons being cast out. All I can say is we’re beginning to see a wonderful Harvest as we see “The Day Approaching”.

    Shabbat Shalom!

It is a scary thought than less than a 1000 people will be told by Yeshua that he knows them. Over 8 billion will go into the Lake of Gehenna Fire that is never quenched! So glad I am one of the 1000!

Where did you get that number? Is The Father’s Kingdom really that small (just 1,000 people?). Are you including Old Testament individuals in that number (patriarchs, prophets, kings, people like Abel, Aaron, Caleb, Joshua, Rahab, Gideon, Deborah, on and on) and New Covenant belIevers since the resurrection of Christ or are the 1,000 believers consisting of only the last days remnant? In the 6,000 years of God doing His Kingdom work amongst fallen mankind has He only been able to gain just 1,000 souls that have been truly begotten from above? Who then is the True Israel? How do you yourself know definitively as a fact you are definitely in the 1,000? By what criteria do you make that statement? Certainly many are called but few are chosen but only 1,000 amongst the billions of people who once walked this earth get in? I’m truly dumbfounded by your thinking.

Why do I keep coming back to sightedmoon?

To begin on a negative note, I could say that it’s because everywhere else I go, I get rejected. For many years, I have tried to share truths about the torah, calendar, jubilee years, and similar topics in churches and study groups. All that I received was rejection. Even after the whole world was closed down by the plague sent by Yehovah in 2020 (Covid), the people that I spoke to ahead of time about this judgement of Yehovah rejected me. Even a pastor (whom was interviewed on YouTube by Joe Dumond) asked me not to come back to his church. And since the Sabbath year began, I am no longer studying in person with the group that I studied with for years. Only this group here at sightedmoon has welcomed me back and allowed me to teach, produce material, and interactively share thoughts. Joe Dumond even accepted an invitation to stay in my home and speak to those in my area in xxxx xxxxx (although my friends and forementioned church pastor did not attend). Sightedmoon accepts me.

To remain on a positive note, sightedmoon follows and teaches torah. The scriptures are spoken of openly; ideas are brought up and thoroughly explored. If those ideas don’t pan out, they are tossed out… without rejecting people for bringing up those ideas. More often than not, though… because folks here are on track studying the torah, the ideas are good ones. Often, we are on the same path on things, too, without knowing it (earlier this week, I was drafting an email about a place called Kadesh Barnea in association with Re’im… but, it was just not matching up on my modern maps… then, I watched Cyrus & Joe talk about how the modern maps don’t match the actual places and then start placing a place called Kadesh Barnea on the map — I actually got so excited that I jumped out of my chair and ran into look at my own personal notes. Wow, wow, wow! Sure, I keep the Sabbaths (Weekly Sabbaths, High Sabbaths, and the Sabbath year) and have done so in the past, and I share that and other common beliefs/bonds with the folks at sightedmoon, but it’s this comradery of thought that keeps bringing me back.

Proverbs 25:2 states that “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.”

    This is sightedmoon.

The Dead Sea calendar shows the current year as 5948.

    What do you think?

I think you need to be educated about the truth of the calendars. The Dead Sea Calendar is a false calendar. And can easily be proven false. See our article about the Zadok sun calendars with our free article https://sightedmoon.com/the-zadok-calendar-lp/
The real question is will YOU look into this and seek the truth or are you going to continue to spread and believe a lie.

    Hi Joe,

Please explain 1 Cor.9:20 where Paul says he is not under the Law. I need help on this one!

Hi again, Jim… it looks like Joe has not had a chance to comment yet. So, I’ll toss in my quick thoughts on this.

Often people bring up the book of Galatians, as it has similar wording as to “under the law”. The basic message of Paul’s letter to the Galatians is that being circumcised does not save one’s soul. A lot can be gained from circumcision, but it does not save you from sin and death. One gets the impression from the book of Galatians that Paul is responding to the argument that new believers could not possible be saved unless they were circumcised, and some were even saying that circumcision was all that was needed. This was such a big issue, that a council met to discuss the matter in Acts chapter 15. Paul was simply saying to the Galatians that one needs to remove the harlotry from one’s heart, which is much more important than physical circumcision (side study: the Hebrew word for circumcision/foreskin is a play on words that means to remove harlotry).

In the verse you asked about, 1st Corinthians 9:20, and the next few verses, Paul is saying that he does not discriminate between Jewish and non-Jewish believers in Christ. When he speaks with Jews, he can talk to them on their level and explain the benefits and meaning of circumcision and other details of the law and how these things teach us about our walk with Christ and such. However when Paul talks to those without a knowledge and background in the law, he’s saying that he is able to explain things to them on their level — without making them feel “inferior” because they have not learned the details of the law just yet. Without having studied the law yet, they are babies in the faith and he recognizes that about these new believers (he actually criticizes the Corinthians about this in 1st Corinthians 3:2, implying that the Corinthians should have grown in their knowledge of the scriptures by now… something one might criticize modern believers for, to be bluntly honest).

I hope this helps. One of the toughest things we deal with in our modern walk is that there are many more voices with negative viewpoints towards the laws of our God. I personally discuss this and your question above in a book put out by sightedmoon called “I do” (see pages 18-19). If you want to download a free copy of this book, go to the sightedmoon home page and click on that new “New to Sightedmoon? Click Here” link, then scroll down to the “Books” section to find a direct download link to the “I do” book (yeah… it’s a direct link… no sign up… no buy this or that… just one click to download anonymously — the goal is to help folks who are sincerely seeking answers as you are doing).

All the best to you and yours, Jim! Keep the questions/comments coming.

      The Complete Jewish Study Bible:

1Co 9:20 That is, with Jews, what I did was put myself in the position of a Jew, in order to win Jews. With people in subjection to a legalistic perversion of the Torah, I put myself in the position of someone under such legalism, in order to win those under this legalism, even though I myself am not in subjection to a legalistic perversion of the Torah. 21 With those who live outside the framework of Torah, I put myself in the position of someone outside the Torah in order to win those outside the Torah – although I myself am not outside the framework of God’s Torah, but within the framework of Torah as upheld by the Messiah. 22 With the “weak” I became “weak,” in order to win the “weak.” With all kinds of people I have become all kinds of things, so that in all kinds of circumstances I might save at least some of them.
