I’m Not Listening

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom Royal Family of Yehovah,

Shabbat Zoom Meeting

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teach you and encourage you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable to explain why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath November 20,  2021, the room will be open at 12:30 PM Eastern with singing and prayers until about 1:15 PM. You are all welcome to join and watch. It is not recorded. We will have our afternoon service after this. You are welcome to come and join us before during and after we are off the air.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

Joseph Dumond is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Septennial Torah Portion

If you go to Torah Portion at our archived section, you can then go to the 5th year which is the 5th year of the Sabbatical Cycle, the one we are in now, as we state at the top of every News Letter. There you can scroll down to November 20, 2021, and see that this Shabbat we could very well be midrashing about

Exodus 15

Isaiah 4-7

Ps 121

John 4:43-5:29

If you missed last week’s exciting discoveries as we studied that section you can go and watch past Shabbats on our media section.

The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033

We would like to again let you know of our newest book The Mystery of the Jewish rapture 2033 is now available on Amazon and if you have a Kindle reading account it is free.

I would also like to ask those of you who have read it to leave an endorsement on each of your respective amazon accounts, whether Canadian, American, UK or Australian. You can help just by letting people know what you are learning from this book and all of our books.

You can also help by sharing it and telling others on your social media account about it. Go to the Rapture or Revelation groups and end times groups you belong to and talk to them about it. It is a small thing you can do to help us spread the message. Thank you for your help in this and in all the things each of you do to spread the message and help others come to know Yehovah.

This is our blurb about the book you can share.

Millions are anxious for the Rapture to come and whisk them away at any moment. Few if any understand that the Bible they claim to follow and obey tells them precisely when the Rapture is to take place. It has been there all along hidden in plain sight. It is the same thing for the coming of the Messiah. He tells you Himself when to look for Him.
The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033 is going to show you using the Jubilee Cycles how you can not only know the year the Rapture is going to take place in but even the very day.
No Longer will you have the pain of yet another letdown from yet another theory. No longer will you be guessing exactly when the Rapture is to happen. You will know!
You will be able to prove this from your own Bible and then you will absolutely know.
With the information The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033 reveals, you will know exactly what it is that the Five Wise virgins understood and why they were ready for when the Messiah does come. It is because they knew.
We want you to be ready for the Rapture. We want you to be absolutely sure of when it is to take place and why. And we want to celebrate this day with you. It is going to be one of the greatest days in the history of mankind. So great that even the Exodus will be forgotten and this day will be the day spoken of. A day that you have the opportunity to be a part of. One of the Greatest Days in the History of Mankind. We look forward to being there with you.

Some of those you want to present the Rapture book to will say No Man Can Know the Day of the Hour. If they do then you will want to give them It Was A Riddle Not A Command book. This book will not only prove to them when the Messiah is going to come, but it will also prove to them when He was born. And at the same time, it does all of this using the scriptures from their own bible, it will show them how to know which calendar to use for the Holy Days as well as many other understandings.

If you get the Kindle Plan you can read both books for free.

World News Update

I Am Not Listening

My wife has been away getting advice about her cancer treatments. I was away taking my Mom to visit her sister. Could be one of the last visits before one of them dies.

Upon our coming home, my wife accused me of breaking the thingy that plays her music by speaking into it. She asked me if I used it when she was away. I did, so therefore I must have broken it.

So I go out into the living room and began to say Hey Alexa play Frank Sinatra, Hey Alexa play Johny Cash. Both times we got no response. Both my wife and I are tapping it and checking the plug and now yelling Hey Alexa Hey Alexa.

The neighbours must have heard us. Then my wife says Hey Google play Johnny Cash, and immediately it begins to play the playlist that was already loaded and both my wife I begin to laugh at our stupidity to which both of us had not realized until Google began to play.

This happened at the same time I was thinking about those people in British Columbia who had lost their homes and barns and livestock to the raging river which had swept them all away. That same river which meandered by the farm for the past hundred years without so much as a warning of what it could do and did do to them last week when Yehovah sent the deluge.

Joh 9:31  But we know that God does not hear sinners, but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him.

As I watched the news the people in the interview seemed like good people. The Community pulled together to help one another in this crisis. Everyone spoken to were for the most part “Good.”

So why does this happen? They go to church on Sunday, Xmas and Easter. They support the local hockey teams and sports that their kids played in on Saturday and Sunday. They worked hard and dealt honesly with each other.

So why did this happen? Why have we lost so many due to COVID, why all the forest fires this year, why the Heat Dome for so many weeks, why the drought, why the torrential amount of rain, a months worth of rain in just 2 days, why the flood that ensued, why was our house flooded, why was our house and farm swept away, why the loss of so many animals? Where is God? And now with frost and freezing temperatures and the floodwaters not going away fast, is He going to again send atmospheric rivers of water that are going to deluge us again?  Why did He not save us, why is He sending more flooding rains, why me, what have I done to deserve this??????? WHY WHY WHY?????

This week Yehovah sent an Atmospheric river to the other coast of Canada and cut off Port Aux Basque in Newfoundland.

Like Alexa or Google who do not react unless we address them properly, Yehovah does not hear us. He is not listening to us, He is not listening to you. He is not going to hear you until you do what He has told you to do.

Job 27:8  For what is the hope of the ungodly when He cuts off, when God takes away his soul?

Job 27:9  Will God hear his cry when trouble comes on him?

Let’s just go through the list of why Yehovah does not hear you and see if you can fix yourself. Because the time of trouble is now here. Your relationship with Him cannot only be in the current emergency at hand. You have to have an ongoing relationship with Him.

Psalms 73:6  Therefore pride enchains them; violence covers them like a robe. 7  Their eyes stand out with fatness; they have more than the heart could imagine. 8  They scoff and speak in malice of cruelty; from on high they speak.

Let me warn you that this next scripture uses the word stupid. I know that when I say it many of you are offended. I know you do not like being called stupid. But here Yehovah is calling you stupid, so I just wanted to warn you.

Job 35:6  If you sin, what do you do against Him? Or if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to Him?

Job 35:7  If you are righteous, what do you give Him? Or what does He receive from your hand?

Job 35:8  Your wickedness may hurt a man like yourself; and your righteousness may profit the son of man.

Job 35:9  From the host of tyrannies they cry out; they cry out because of the arm of the multitude.

Job 35:10  But none says, Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night;

Job 35:11  who teaches us more than the animals of the earth, and makes us wiser than the birds of the heavens?

Job 35:12  There they cry, but He gives no answer, because of the pride of evildoers.

Job 35:13  Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty look on it.

Job 35:14  How much less when you say you do not see Him! Judgment is before Him; you are waiting for Him.

Job 35:15  And now, because His anger has not visited, and He does not recognize stupidity,

Yes, we as a nation go to church each week. Well, we did before COVID. There we prayed to our Baptist god, or Catholic gods, or to our Muslim god. We went through the motions of looking good before other men.

Amo 5:18  Woe to those desiring the day of Jehovah! What is this for you? The day of Jehovah is darkness and not light;

Amo 5:19  as if a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house and leaned his hand on the wall, and a snake bit him.

Amo 5:20  Shall not the day of Jehovah be darkness and not light? Even very dark, and no brightness in it?

Amo 5:21  I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not delight in your solemn assemblies.

Amo 5:22  Though you offer Me burnt offerings and your food offerings, I will not be pleased. Nor will I regard the peace offerings of your fat animals.

Amo 5:23  Take the noise of your songs away from Me; for I will not hear the melody of your stringed instruments.

Amo 5:24  But let judgment roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.

Amo 5:25  Have you offered sacrifices and offerings to Me forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

Amo 5:26  But you have carried the booth of your king and Kiyyun, your images, the star of your gods which you made for yourselves.

Amo 5:27  So I will cause you to go into exile beyond Damascus, says Jehovah, the God of Hosts is His name.

Speaking about these two gods here in Amos Adam Clarke has this to say.

But ye have borne – The preceding verse spoke of their fathers; the present verse speaks of the Israelites then existing, who were so grievously addicted to idolatry, that they not only worshipped at stated public places the idols set up by public authority, but they carried their gods about with them everywhere.

The tabernacle of your Moloch – Probably a small portable shrine, with an image of their god in it, such as Moloch; and the star or representative of their god Chiun. For an ample exposition of this verse, see the note on Act 7:42; to which let me add, that from Picart’s Religious Ceremonies, vol. 3 p. 199, we find that there was an idol named Choun worshipped among the Peruvians from the remotest antiquity.

Molech today is represented by the Christmas Tree and all things Christmas do go back and tie into Molech. The Star is identified by Stephen in Acts 7:43 as Remphan which is placed on top of the Christmas tree. This is the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Queen of Heaven and her son Canaan, who would later become known as Horus.

These are the feast days Yehovah hates that He speaks of in Amos 5:21 which we today still carry on and do year in and year out. Some mix this ancient pagan worship with the Torah and they justify it. Our whole society is involved in this worship.

Maybe now you can begin to see the reason for the current season of wildfires, droughts, flooding damage and destruction as seen in British Columbia this past week and in other places around the world

Psa 18:41  They cried, but there was none to save; even to Jehovah, but He did not answer them.

Psa 34:11  Come, listen to me, my sons; I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.

Psa 34:12  Who is the man that desires life, and loves days, that he may see good?

Psa 34:13  Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking guile.

Psa 34:14  Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

Psa 34:15  The eyes of Jehovah are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.

Psa 34:16  The face of Jehovah is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.

Psa 34:17  The righteous cry, and Jehovah hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.

Psa 34:18  Jehovah is near to the broken-hearted; and saves those who are of a contrite spirit.

Psa 34:19  Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Jehovah delivers him out of them all.

Psa 34:20  He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.

Psa 34:21  Evil shall slay the wicked; and those who hate the righteous shall be held guilty.

Psa 34:22  Jehovah redeems the soul of His servants; and none of them who trust in Him shall be guilty.

Yehovah is going to protect those who obey Him. The Righteous are obeying Him. Does this cover you? Are you righteous? Does He hear your prayers and does He answer you?

Psa 66:16  Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will declare what He has done for my soul.

Psa 66:17  I cried to Him with my mouth, and exaltations were under my tongue.

Psa 66:18  If I regard iniquity in my heart, Jehovah will not hear;

Psa 66:19  Surely God has heard; He has attended to the voice of my prayer.

Psa 66:20  Blessed is God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me.

I must again warn you that Yehovah is going to use the word fool and simple in this next section of proverbs. I want to warn you again so you do not get offended at being called stupid by Yehovah.

I also must remind you that Yehovah through the prophet Joel told us He was going to pour out His Holy Spirit on all Flesh in these last days. He has done that but many if not most have rejected it choosing to be fools, (stupid) and hated learning about Yehovah by studying His Torah. Instead, they became experts at other things.

Pro 1:22  How long will you love simplicity, simple ones? And will scorners delight in their scorning? And will fools hate knowledge?

Pro 1:23  Turn at my warning; behold, I will pour out my Spirit to you; I will make my words known to you.

Pro 1:24  Because I called, and you refused; I stretched out my hand, and no one paid attention;

Pro 1:25  but you have despised all my advice, and would have none of my warning.

Pro 1:26  I also will laugh at your trouble; I will mock when your fear comes;

Pro 1:27  when your fear comes as a wasting away, and your ruin comes like a tempest when trouble and pain come upon you.

Pro 1:28  Then they shall call upon me, and I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me;

Pro 1:29  instead they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of Jehovah.

Pro 1:30  They would have none of my counsel; they despised all my correction,

Pro 1:31  and they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own desires.

Pro 1:32  For the turning away of the simple kills them, and the ease of fools destroys them.

Pro 1:33  But whoever listens to me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

How many of you and how many of these people where these disasters occur are studying Yehovah’s words to learn? How many of them are studying the gossip of FB and other intrigues that lead you to be a fool.

Pro 15:28  The heart of the righteous studies to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things.

Pro 15:29  Jehovah is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous.

Pro 21:11  When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise; and when the wise is instructed, he receives knowledge.

Pro 21:12  The righteous wisely considers the house of the wicked; but God overthrows the wicked for their wickedness.

Pro 21:13  Whoever stops his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

Pro 21:14  A gift in secret quiets anger; and a bribe in the bosom quiets strong wrath.

Pro 21:15  It is joy to the just to do judgment, but ruin shall be to the workers of iniquity.

Pro 21:16  The man who wanders out of the way of understanding shall rest in the assembly of departed spirits.

Do you hear Yehovah speaking to you? Are you listening? Do you see what is going on around us and are you paying attention? Do you study His Torah? Do you open up your Bibles and read it? Or is your sitting in a pew all the learning you do for an hour each week? Or the reading of a few memes on FB?

Pro 28:9  He who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is a hateful thing.

Brethren Isaiah was a prophet to Hezekiah who witnessed the destruction of the Northern Ten Tribes of Israel.

Hezekiah (/ˌhɛzɪˈkaɪ.ə/; Hebrew: חִזְקִיָּהוּ‎ H̱īzəqīyyahū), or Ezekias,[a] (born c. 741 BCE, sole ruler c. 716/15–687/86 or 697–642) was, according to the Hebrew Bible, the son of Ahaz and the 13th king of Judah.[1]

According to the biblical narrative, Hezekiah witnessed the destruction of the northern Kingdom of Israel by Sargon’s Assyrians in c. 722 BCE and was king of Judah during the siege of Jerusalem by Sennacherib in 701 BCE.[2]

Hezekiah enacted sweeping religious reforms, including a strict mandate for the sole worship of Yahweh and a prohibition on venerating other deities within the Temple of Jerusalem.[1] He is considered a very righteous king in both the Second Book of Kings and the Second Book of Chronicles.[3] He is also one of the more prominent kings of Judah mentioned in the Bible and is one of the kings mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew.[4] “No king of Judah, among either his predecessors or his successors, could … be compared to him”, according to 2 Kings 18:5.[5] Isaiah and Micah prophesied during his reign.[1]

Now read what Isaiah the Prophet says to Hezekiah.

Isa 1:2  Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth; for Jehovah has spoken, I have nursed and brought up sons, and they have rebelled against Me.

Isa 1:3  The ox knows his owner, and the ass his master’s crib; but Israel does not know; My people do not understand.

Isa 1:4  Woe, sinful nation, a people heavy with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, sons who corrupt! They have forsaken Jehovah; they have provoked the Holy One of Israel to anger; they have gone away backward.

Isa 1:5  Why should you be stricken any more? You will revolt more and more; the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

Isa 1:6  From the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it; only a wound and a stripe and a fresh blow; they have not been closed, nor bound up, nor soothed with oil.

Isa 1:7  Your land is wasted, your cities burned with fire. Strangers devour your land right before your eyes, and it is wasted, as overthrown by strangers.

Isa 1:8  And the daughter of Zion is left a booth in a vineyard, like a hut in a garden of cucumbers, like a besieged city.

Isa 1:9  Except Jehovah of Hosts had left us a very small remnant, we would be as Sodom; we would be like Gomorrah.

Isa 1:10  Hear the Word of Jehovah, rulers of Sodom; give ear to the Law of our God, people of Gomorrah.

Isa 1:11  To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me? says Jehovah; I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of he-goats.

Isa 1:12  When you come to appear before Me, who has required this at your hand, to trample My courts?

Isa 1:13  Bring no more vain sacrifice; incense is an abomination to Me; the new moon and sabbath, the going to meeting; I cannot endure evil and the assembly!

Isa 1:14  Your new moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates; they are a trouble to Me; I am weary to bear them.

Isa 1:15  And when you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; yea, when you make many prayers, I will not hear; your hands are full of blood.

Isa 1:16  Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes; cease to do evil;

Isa 1:17  learn to do good; seek judgment, reprove the oppressor. Judge the orphan, plead for the widow.

Isa 1:18  Come now, and let us reason together, says Jehovah; though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.

Isa 1:19  If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;

Isa 1:20  but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of Jehovah has spoken.

Jerusalem was called Sodom and Gomorrah. And today at the end of this age, the end of the 6th millennial day, Yehovah is pleading with us to wash and to make ourselves clean as in Atonement. Atonement ends the Ten Days of Awe, the days of teshuvah.

These same ten days of repentance are likened to our time now only as the Ten Years of Repentance from 2024 to 2033. If you understand what I am sharing here then read again Isaiah 1:1-20. These calamities that we now see around the world and are calling them climate change or global warming. Yehovah is warning us with each disaster and each one increases from the one before. Are you listening? The Sword is coming.

Isa 1:20  but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of Jehovah has spoken.

If you are understanding the Ten Days or Ten Years of Awe and what they mean then this next section in Isaiah about fasting is going to make more sense now to you.

Isa 58:1  Cry aloud, do not spare, lift up your voice like a ram’s horn, and show My people their rebellion, and the house of Jacob their sins.

Isa 58:2  Yet they seek Me daily, and delight to know My ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and one who did not forget the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in drawing near to God.

Isa 58:3  They say, Why have we fasted, and You do not see? Why have we afflicted our soul, and You take no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast you find pleasure, and crush all your laborers.

Isa 58:4  Behold, you fast for strife and debate, and to strike with the fist of wickedness; you shall not fast as you do today, to make your voice to be heard on high.

Isa 58:5  Is it such a fast that I have chosen? A day for a man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head like a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? Will you call this a fast and a day pleasing to Jehovah?

Isa 58:6  Is not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed ones go free, and that you break every yoke?

Isa 58:7  Is it not to break your bread to the hungry, and that you should bring home the wandering poor? When will you see the naked and cover him; and you will not hide yourself from your own flesh?

Isa 58:8  Then shall your light break out as the dawn, and your health shall spring out quickly; and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of Jehovah shall gather you.

Isa 58:9  Then you shall call, and Jehovah shall answer; you shall cry, and He shall say, Here I am. If you take the yoke away from among you, the pointing of the finger, and speaking vanity;

Isa 58:10  and if you draw out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall your light rise in darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday.

Isa 58:11  And Jehovah shall always guide you and satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones fat; and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.

Isa 58:12  And those who come of you shall build the old ruins; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

Isa 58:13  If you turn your foot because of the Sabbath, from doing what you please on My holy days, and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of Jehovah, honorable; and shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your ownwords,

Isa 58:14  then you shall delight yourself in Jehovah; and I will cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed yourself with the inheritance of Jacob your father. For the mouth of Jehovah has spoken.

I want to be known as the repairer of the breach. The restorer of the ancient paths so that we all can dwell in safety. But so many of you become angry at me when I point out your sins. When you mix the Truth of Torah with all your other false gods.

Jer 11:9  And Jehovah said to me, A plot is found among the men of Judah, and among the people of Jerusalem.

Jer 11:10  They have turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, who refused to hear My Words. And they went after other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken My covenant which I made with their fathers.

Jer 11:11  So Jehovah says this: Behold, I will bring evil on them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry to Me, I will not listen to them.

Jer 11:12  Then shall the cities of Judah and the people of Jerusalem go and cry to the gods to whom they offer incense. But they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.

Jer 11:13  For according to the number of your cities were your gods, O Judah. And according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem you have set up altars to that shameful thing, altars to burn incense to Baal.

Jer 11:14  And you, do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them. For I will not hear them in the time they cry to Me for their trouble.

Jer 11:15  What is to My beloved in My house, since she has committed her many evils? And has the holy flesh caused your evil to pass from you? How then do you exult?

Jer 11:16  Jehovah called your name, a green olive tree, fair, with fine fruit. With the sound of a great storm He has set fire to it, and its branches are worthless.

Jer 11:17  And Jehovah of Hosts who planted you has spoken evil against you, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done to themselves to provoke Me to anger by offering incense to Baal.

Yes, there are many teachers who will not hear anything we have to say about the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. Yet the events that are happening and that are still to come do not go away no matter how much they claim that they are not real.

Jer 14:10  So says Jehovah to this people; So they have loved to wander; they have not restrained their feet; therefore Jehovah does not accept them. He will now remember their iniquity and visit their sins.

Jer 14:11  Then Jehovah said to me, Do not pray for this people for good.

Jer 14:12  When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and a grain offering, I will not accept them. But I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the plague.

Jer 14:13  Then I said, Ah, O Lord Jehovah! Behold, the prophets are saying to them, You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine; but I will give you true peace in this place.

Jer 14:14  And Jehovah said to me, The prophets prophesy lies in My name; I did not send them, nor have I commanded them, nor did I speak to them. They prophesy to you a false vision and a worthless divination, and a thing of no value, and the deceit of their heart.

Jer 14:15  So Jehovah says this concerning the prophets who prophesy in My name, and I did not send them; yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; by sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed.

Jer 14:16  And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, either them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters. For I will pour their evil on them.

Jer 14:17  And you shall speak this word to them: Let my eyes run down with tears night and day, and do not let them cease. For the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great break, with a very grievous blow.

Jer 14:18  If I go out into the field, then I see those killed with the sword! And if I enter into the city, then, behold, sicknesses of famine! Yes, both the prophet and the priest have gone up into a land that they do not know.

Jer 14:19  Have You utterly rejected Judah? Or has Your soul hated Zion? Why have You stricken us, and there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came; and for the time of healing, and behold, trouble!

Jer 14:20  We acknowledge, O Jehovah, our wickedness, the iniquity of our fathers; for we have sinned against You.

We are in the Christmas season now. We are also in the season of Chanukah and Daliwah. But some of you can justify celebrating it by claiming it in the name of God and that you do not do it in a pagan way. Really? Is that how Yehovah sees it? Are you righteous? Have you figured out why Yehovah does not hear your prayers or the prayers of our peoples?

Eze 8:1  And it was in the sixth year, in the sixth month, on the fifth of the month, I was sitting in my house, and the elders of Judah were sitting before me. And the hand of the Lord Jehovah fell on me there.

Eze 8:2  And I looked, and behold! A likeness as the appearance of fire; from the appearance of His loins and downward, like fire. And from His loins and upward as the appearance of brightness, like the color of polished bronze.

Eze 8:3  And He put out the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of my head. And the Spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heavens, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the opening of the inner gate facing north, where there was a seat of the image of jealousy, which provokes to jealousy.

Eze 8:4  And, behold! The glory of the God of Israel wasthere, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.

Eze 8:5  And He said to me, Son of man, lift up your eyes now to the way of the north. So I lifted up my eyes the way toward the north, and behold, northward at the gate of the altar the image of jealousy was at the entrance.

Eze 8:6  And He said to me, Son of man, do you see what they do; even the great abominations which the house of Israel is doing here, that I should go far off from My sanctuary? But turn again, and you shall see greater abominations.

Eze 8:7  And He brought me to the opening of the court; and I looked, and behold, a hole in the wall.

Eze 8:8  And He said to me, Son of man, dig in the wall now. And I dug in the wall, and, behold, an opening.

Eze 8:9  And he said to me. Go in and see the evil abominations that they do here.

Eze 8:10  And I went in and saw. And behold, every kind of creeping thing, and hateful beast, and all the idols of the house of Israel, were carved on the wall all around.

Eze 8:11  And seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, standing among them, these were before them, and each man with his censor in his hand. And the odor of the cloud of incense was rising.

Eze 8:12  And He said to me, Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, each man in his image room? For they are saying, Jehovah does not see us; Jehovah has forsaken the earth.

Eze 8:13  He also said to me, You turn again, and you shall see greater evils that they are doing.

Eze 8:14  And He brought me to the opening of the gate of Jehovah’s house, toward the north. And behold, women were sitting there, weeping for Tammuz.

Eze 8:15  And He said to me, Have you seen, O son of man? Turn yet again, and you shall see greater evils than these.

Eze 8:16  And He brought me into the inner court of Jehovah’s house, and behold, at the opening of the temple of Jehovah, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of Jehovah and their faces toward the east; and they bowed themselves eastward to the sun.

Eze 8:17  And He said to me, Have you seen, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they do the hateful things which they do here? For they have filled the land with violence and have turned to provoke Me to anger. And lo, they put the branch to their nose.

Eze 8:18  And I will also deal with fury; My eye shall not spare, nor will I have pity. And though they cry in My ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.

Mic 3:2  You who hate the good and love the evil; who pull their skin off them, and their flesh from their bones;

Mic 3:3  who also eat the flesh of My people, and strip their skin off them. And they break their bones and chop them in pieces, like that in the pot, like those in the middle of the kettle.

Mic 3:4  Then they shall cry to Jehovah, but He will not answer them. He will even hide His face from them at that time, as they have done evil in their doings.

Zec 7:8  And the Word of Jehovah came to Zechariah, saying,

Zec 7:9  So speaks Jehovah of Hosts, saying, Judge true judgment, and practice kindness and pity, each man to his brother.

Zec 7:10  And do not crush the widow or the orphan, the alien or the poor. And do not devise evil in your heart, of a man against his brother.

Zec 7:11  But they refused to listen, and gave a stubborn shoulder, and made heavy their ears from hearing.

Zec 7:12  And they made their hearts adamant from hearing the Law and the Words which Jehovah of Hosts has sent through His Spirit, by the former prophets. And great wrath came from Jehovah of Hosts.

Zec 7:13  And it will be, as He called, and they did not listen, so they called, and I did not listen, says Jehovah of Hosts.

Zec 7:14  But I stormed them away on all the nations whom they did not know. And the land has been wasted behind them, from passing and from returning; for they made the land of desire a waste.

It is easy for all of us to point at those who do not keep the law and will not keep the law. We are able to see their sins. How many of you, how many of us look at our own lives and examine ourselves to see if we are keeping the laws? How many of us read the Torah daily to learn all the laws and to be obedient? How many of us waste our time chasing rabbits? When you answer these questions then you will know why Yehovah does not answer nor hear your prayers. Most people only want Him when they are in some sort of crisis. How many of you seek Yehovah in the good times?
