How to Prove Which Calendar to Follow

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom Royal Family of Yehovah,

Shabbat Zoom Meeting

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teach you and encourage you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable to explain why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath January 29,  2022, the room will be open at 12:30 PM Eastern with singing and prayers until about 1:15 PM. You are all welcome to join and watch. It is not recorded. We will have our afternoon service after this. You are welcome to come and join us before during and after we are off the air.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

Joseph Dumond is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Products & Reviews

We have a new product for all of you to consider. In an age when accountability for the words you say are absent and impersonal emails are the norm, I want you all to remember the day you got a letter in the mail from a loved one. A birthday card or anniversary, a Christmas card even.

It made you feel good that someone was thinking enough of you that they bought a cord with you in mind, wrote you a note and put it in an envelope, placed a stamp on it and then went to the post office to mail it to you. I stated all that in case some of the younger people do not know how we used to do things.

Maybe we are dreaming of long-forgotten memories. Maybe we are trying to revive dead dinosaurs. I don’t know. I do know when I went to look for a greeting card for each of our Feast Days, there were NONE.

Pauline is a graphic artist and she has created some original cards that you can order and then send to your family and relatives. You can even place on the cards a picture of your family and send it out. So I would like to encourage you all to take a look at what she has created and see if just maybe this is something you would like to do.

Pauline is also looking for other creative card ideas. If you have one then please pass it on and let’s see what happens when we all work together.

Shalom Brethren,

The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033

As you know we launched The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033 at the end of November 2021. What I did not put in the book was the history of this theory as recorded at Wiki. Let me now share a few sections of this with you.

The rapture is an eschatological theological position held by some Christians, particularly within branches of American evangelicalism, consisting of an end-time event when all Christian believers who are alive, along with resurrected believers, would rise “in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air.”[1] The origin of the term extends from Paul the Apostle’s First Epistle to the Thessalonians in the Bible, in which he uses the Greek word harpazo(Ancient Greek: ἁρπάζω), meaning “to snatch away” or “to seize,” and explains that believers in Jesus Christ would be snatched away from earth into the air.[2]

The idea of a rapture as it is currently defined is not found in historic Christianity, but is a relatively recent doctrine of Evangelical Protestantism. The term is most frequently used among Evangelical Protestant theologians in the United States.[3] Rapture has also been used for a mystical union with God or for eternal life in Heaven.[4]

This view of eschatology is referred to as premillennial dispensationalism, which is a form of futurism.

The concept of the rapture, in connection with premillennialism, was expressed by the 17th-century American Puritans Increase and Cotton Mather. They held to the idea that believers would be caught up in the air, followed by judgments on earth, and then the millennium.[53][54]Other 17th-century expressions of the rapture are found in the works of: Robert Maton, Nathaniel Holmes, John Browne, Thomas Vincent, Henry Danvers, and William Sherwin.[55]The term rapture was used by Philip Doddridge[56] and John Gill[57] in their New Testament commentaries, with the idea that believers would be caught up prior to judgment on earth and Jesus’ second coming.

An 1828 edition of Matthew Henry’s An Exposition of the Old and New Testament uses the word “rapture” in explicating 1 Thessalonians 4:17.[58]

Although not using the term “rapture”, the idea was more fully developed by Edward Irving (1792–1834).[59] In 1825,[60] Irving directed his attention to the study of prophecy and eventually accepted the one-man Antichrist idea of James Henthorn Todd, Samuel Roffey Maitland, Robert Bellarmine, and Francisco Ribera, yet he went a step further. Irving began to teach the idea of a two-phase return of Christ, the first phase being a secret rapture prior to the rise of the Antichrist. Edward Miller described Irving’s teaching like this: “There are three gatherings: – First, of the first-fruits of the harvest, the wise virgins who follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth; next, the abundant harvest gathered afterwards by God; and lastly, the assembling of the wicked for punishment.”[61]

Modern pretribulationism gained rise in the seventeenth century with the Puritan preachers Increase Mather and Cotton Mather. It was popularized extensively in the 1830s by John Nelson Darby[64][65] and the Plymouth Brethren[66] and was further promoted in the United States through the wide circulation of the Scofield Reference Bible in the early 20th century.[67]

The pretribulation position advocates that the rapture will occur before the beginning of a seven-year tribulation period, while the second coming will occur at the end of it. Pre-tribulationists often describe the rapture as Jesus coming for the church and the second coming as Jesus coming with the church. Pre-tribulation educators and preachers include Jimmy Swaggart, Robert Jeffress, J. Dwight Pentecost, Tim LaHaye, J. Vernon McGee, Perry Stone, Chuck Smith, Hal Lindsey, Jack Van Impe, Chuck Missler, Grant Jeffrey, Thomas Ice, David Jeremiah, John F. MacArthur, and John Hagee.[68] While many pre-tribulationists are also dispensationalists, not all pre-tribulationists are dispensationalists.[69]

John Nelson Darby first proposed and popularized the pre-tribulation rapture in 1827.[70] This view was accepted among many other Plymouth Brethrenmovements in England. Darby and other prominent Brethren were part of the Brethren movement which impacted American Christianity, especially with movements and teachings associated with Christian eschatology and fundamentalism, primarily through their writings. Influences included the Bible Conference Movement, starting in 1878 with the Niagara Bible Conference.

The reason we wrote this short book was to be used for clickbait. That is to get someone to click on our book and consider buying it. If they do buy and then read it they will get to know me and how I came to understand what I now understand. I do not rehash the same old history with them about John Darby in 1830. Most teachers discover something and then share it with their groups and it spreads after that.

In The Mystery of Jewish Rapture 2033, I then show them how Yehshua told us about the Rapture when He died on the tree on April 25, 31, C.E. Most people have no clue there was a Rapture at that time. I have taught you all this, many times now and will again soon when we get closer to Passover. It is one of the most exciting times for me, as it shows us when the next Rapture will be and that is in 2033 for those who are obeying Yehovah and keeping His commandments. I did not show them the 3rd Rapture as I did not think they were ready for that information and it would have required another 300 or more pages to undo the many false understandings they have before they would be ready for this understanding.

We are about to launch our promotional campaigns for The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033, and we will be doing this on an ongoing basis starting very soon. I would like to ask you all for a favour. If you have read The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture, and or you have read any of our other books, and you are on Amazon or GoodReads, or Barnes and Noble or any other book club type site like Oprah, then would you take a few minutes of your time and write a review for this book and each of our other books. It does not cost you anything and your words can help others be inspired to buy it.

This week I was sent a note about someone who had just read The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033, and they said it has led them to begin to read It Was A Riddle Not A Command to learn about the meaning of the idiom, no man knows the day or the hour. This is exactly what we wanted to happen. To get a bite-sized sample and then to have them want more and more truths.

Your positive endorsement of our books on Amazon can help convince someone to pick up the book and begin the journey. It also helps the AI, to put our books in front of other believers of similar faiths. Yes, the Ai will put our book in front of other people with similar tastes like yours. But it needs to know you liked the books so it can do what it does by matching it with others of like minds. Please do consider taking the time to do this and encourage others to start to learn.

We DO know the day of His return as depicted by
Colo 2:16-17 – So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the body IS of the Messiah.

READ it nice and SLOW and break it down grammatically removing the ancillary subjects , keep to the SUBJECT AT hand . Then you will find , after you remove the word IS at the end of the last sentence( it’s in italics , which means it was ADDED to the text ). You will see that it says ….
” Let NO man JUDGE you , EXCEPT the BODY of Christ .”
SO simpler … Let no man tell YOU about the LAW ( that YOU know about as a Torah keeper) except the PEOPLE who FOLLOW the Torah TOO. It’s really THAT Easy.

    And
1Th 5:1  But of the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that I write to you.
1Th 5:2  For you yourselves know accurately that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.

WE, who KNOW the WORD, KNOW exactly when he is coming and how to watch for that day and HOUR. !

I see the Aviv barley method and the % crescent visible as traditions and not a biblical method.
I can’t find any instructions, in the Scriptures in the many translations I’ve searched, of using the barley as an indication for the commencement of the new year.
God spoke to Moses and Aron saying ‘this is the first moon (month) of the year for you’.
I can’t see how waiting 2 weeks for the barley to ripen to declare the new year is Scriptural..
It seems to me to be traditional…
Please correct me with factual truths from Scripture if I am mistaken.

Shalom everyone, it is amazing that this is being brought to light now at this time. Since I have begun observing well mostly attempting to observe the new moon my mind has been greatly expanded with understanding of the calendar and other astronomical things. I cannot encourage you more to get involved connected to the calendar you keep by getting out to observe the new moon the first sliver. It is truly special when you witness it. A moment to rejoice with a blast from your shofar to let your maker know that you have seen His signal. It actually has some parallels to sevening yourself each shabat. a reaffirmation of your will to keep on the Way and that you are looking for the pillar of fire and cloud of smoke. We move when they move we stay when they stay. We look for YHVH’s signal to begin the year.
    See you at the newmoon!
