Hillel or Crescent Moon How To Prove Which One is Right

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

October 22, 2022

Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,

As I go to prepare this weeks Newsletter, I am reminded by a number of different sources that people are still confused about the calendar and or questioning the calendar due to other calendars being introduced as some secret new thing that has just now been found. If you are not grounded in the Calendar then you will be subject to being deceived into following anything else that comes along.

So we are going to address this subject and drill down on some aspects of it.

Third Year Tithe

We are about to begin the 9th month in just a few days. This means there are still just under three months left until the Shmitah Year begins. Have you begun to store food away for the Sabbatical year from Aviv 1, 2023, to Aviv 1, 2024?  If you have, then that is awesome. I want to remind you not to neglect the Widows in this 6th year so they, too, can store food away.

If you want to be blessed by Yehovah during this coming time with high inflation and high prices for food, then do not neglect your duty now to your brethren. We kept the Feast last month, and the donations for the widows have dropped off. I will assume you are all now giving to those you know personally, and this is awesome. But if, on the other hand, you have just stopped because of donor fatigue, then be forwarned.

I want to remind and ask you all, have you remembered the widows and the orphans this year thus far? We are now in the 6th month. Many of you have supported this cause and I want to thank you on their behalf. I will keep reminding you about this responsibility for the entirety of this year. But this year does not end until Aviv, 2023. So we are not yet halfway. And having now sent out another payment to the widows, I can tell you that we have dropped off by about 60% in our support of this cause.

Let me share with you what one widow recently wrote to me about the recent flooding in Kentucky. Notice how your generosity towards this Widow was used to help those in that flood.

Thank you Bro Joe for all your efforts to be a blessing which I for one truly appreciate. And pray Father will bless you 1000fold in return. The devastation an hour from me is so hard to fathom. I found out today that a couple of sisters I had gone to church with and had moved back home to Hazard lost everything but what one could put in 2 Walmart bags. I wanted to help in some way but did not know what I could do until I saw their post, So was able to give them 100$. The sister I gave it too had come back to London to stay with a friend and replied you don’t have this to give – but I told her, Yes, I do. I have been blessed and I will bless you. An answer to prayer for me as I wanted to help somehow. My son just came and told me that he had heard that there have been some suicides by those who have lost everything. So sad for everyone, especially to the family who had 4 children torn away from them. As bad as this is, I know worse is coming.

Brethren I do want to encourage you not to let up in your support. We all want to receive the blessings, which only come when you comply with the law. This 6th year is the prelude to the 7th year of rest. The Sabbatical year also has things that you are to do to be in compliance with the Kingdom laws. 2024 is the start of the 10 Days of Awe and you do not want to be found out of His Grace at that time.

2022 is the 6th year of the 4th Sabbatical cycle. And anyone who has been reading our website for any time will know how to prove beyond all doubt when the Sabbatical and Jubilee years are. Once you have done that then you will know when the 3rd and the 6th year of the Sabbatical Cycles are. We are told to raise a tithe every third year for the widow, the orphan and the Levite in your gates.

Here is a very severe warning from Yehovah to each of us.

Exo 22:21  You shall neither vex a stranger nor oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child. If you afflict them in any way, and they cry at all to Me, I will surely hear their cry. And My wrath shall become hot, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall be widows, and your sons fatherless.

We have now sent out  (as of June 20, 2022)  our 4th round of gift offerings that you have sent in for the widows and orphans. We have also supported a couple of other ministries that aid us in doing this work. This will fulfill the Levite part of the commandment. It was our desire to get the funds to them as we are told to do in Deuteronomy.

Deu 14:28  At the end of three years you shall bring forth all the tithe of your increase the same year, and shall lay it up inside your gates.

Deu 14:29  And the Levite, because he has no part nor inheritance with you, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are inside your gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied, so that Jehovah your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

We will soon be making another gift to them. If you do not know of anyone in the faith who is a widow or orphan then you can send it to us. Make sure you write me to let me know that those funds are for the widows and I will see to it they get it. But if you do not write me then I will not know where to apply your donation.

May each one of you who has given to this cause, be blessed as Boaz was blessed by Yehovah for his generosity. May each one of you be known for your support of the laws that will make the Kingdom of Yehovah strong and righteous. And may Yehovah bless you so that what you give is never missed and you never lack for your generosity towards Yehovah’s heart.

Promotions

We will be promoting ads, books, and upcoming meetings in this section. I hope you will check it each week, copy and paste it to your social media pages, and help us share this message. We need each of you to help here as much as possible. Make sure you copy the blurb for each ad when you do. Thank you in advance.

I could really use your help to share this work.

You can take each promotion and share it with your loved ones. They might start to watch. You can enter their names and they would have to confirm that they’re interested. But you can plant the seeds by putting these promotions on your social media page and sharing them with the ones you care about.

We are working on more promotions for the Ten Tribes of Israel, Heaven, Hell and It Was A Riddle Not A Command.

They all take a lot of work and James and I are going as fast as we can with them. When you do see a mistake, let us know so we can try to fix it.

Joseph Dumond’s latest book is one of the most exciting biblical rollercoaster rides full of sensational revelations and fresh insights.

If you are a seeker of truth—no matter at what personal cost—you will undoubtedly appreciate the precious pearls of great price enshrined in its pages. Let’s face it; when you go to hear a great preacher, for his message to be worth hearing, it needs to move you. You have become inspired, your focus has changed, and you have come away with a new resolve. So it is also with a book. It has to inspire you. It has to hold you, stir and lead you, and yes, it needs to even change you. Be very glad, for you have found such a book, you are holding it in your hands right now.

The lead theme of this book is perfectly expressed in, ‘The Times of Restoration of All things,’ quoted from Acts 3:21, and it appears to suggest to the careful reader that Messiah Yeshua cannot come back to us, “…until the times of restoration of all things!” This caused the author to ask the following questions:

“WHAT WAS LOST?”

“WHEN WAS IT LOST?”

“HOW & WHEN (& IN WHICH WAY) WILL IT BE RESTORED?

Once he has provided us with the incredible and shocking details of the ‘What’ and the ‘When;’ Joseph Dumond goes on to inform us of the majestic way in which the Holy Spirit is inspiring people throughout the ages at different times and in diverse places to restore key lost aspects of His truth.

Reading this largely untold history is an exciting experience, as constantly you are presented with sad and terrible events, as well as wonderful, surprising things, almost too fantastic to imagine. Another totally new and fresh insight is presented into both the meaning and the application of those well-known Biblical phrases regarding: “The former and latter rains!” (Joel 2:23)

This restoration phenomenon comes in two great phases known respectively, as “The Former and the Latter Rains.” It is utterly fascinating to follow the process, as you go through the ages of the living and true faith of our fathers. Even when it looks like all is lost, somewhere and somehow the baton of leadership is handed down, and various aspects of the old faith are, once again, restored. To get and keep your attention in this exceptionally well-researched, historical grand tour, the author introduces you to the “RESTORATION HEROES OF THE FAITH!” As you come closer to our time today, you will be surprised who some of those modern-day heroes are. What sets them apart is how each one of them has been instrumental in restoring some important truth that, sadly, has been lost.

As for me and my house, we whole heartedly recommend “The Restoration of all things!” Stephen J Spykerman, Author, Minister, International Speaker, Founder: Mount Ephraim Publishing

The Elijah Trilogy

The Abomination that Makes Desolate, is written. It is partly edited. We need to go through this once again and possibly add a little more content.

The 10 Days of Awe, was written in draft. It needs to be organized and the writing finalized. Once this is done then it will need to be edited. I see this coming out in 2023. Do keep us in your prayers. I have a lot on my plate and I do need to get this out ASAP. 2023 and 2024 are right in front of us and this book deals with those things that come at that time.

The Restoration of All Things

The Restoration of All Things. Here is the link you can post on your page and help us to begin to promote this book everywhere we can.

Before Messiah Yehshua can come, Elijah must restore all things. What are those things that need to be restored? Have they happened yet? What was lost and when? When was it restored and by whom? Are you watching the right things in your walk?

The Mark of the Beast

Do you know what the Mark of the Beast is? If you have it read what Revelation 14 says: Rev 14:9 And a third angel followed them, saying with a great voice, If anyone worships the beast and its image, and receives a mark in his forehead or in his hand, Rev 14:10 he also will drink of the wine of the anger of God, having been mixed undiluted in the cup of His wrath. And he will be tormented by fire and brimstone before the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. And they have no rest day or night, those who worship the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name. Get the article, and let us show you exactly what that Mark of the Beast is. Once you know it, then you can defend against it. Here is the FREE offer. Just click on the link, and you will receive the PDF immediately. https://sightedmoon.org/mark-of-the-beast-free-offer Shortly after this, you will be sent the other article on what the number 666 actually does mean. The Key To End-Time Prophecy is the Jubilee Cycles

The Key To All End-Time Prophecy is the Jubilee Cycles. With the understanding of when every Sabbatical and Jubilee year was throughout history, you can then begin to see patterns develop of when Yehovah brought about major historical events. When you know when the Flood took place in that Jubilee Cycle, you can compare it to our current 120th Jubilee Cycle. Then when you do the same for the time of Lot, and read the scripture in Luke, you can get an idea when the Kingdom of Yehovah will be set up.

The Coming of the Kingdom

Luk 17:20 And being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation. 21 Nor shall they say, Lo here! or, behold, there! For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst. 22 And He said to the disciples, The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you shall not see it. 23 And they shall say to you, Lo, here! or, behold, there! Do not go away, nor follow. 24 For as the lightning which lights up, flashing from the one part under heaven, and shines to the other part under heaven, so also shall the Son of Man be in His day. 25 But first He must suffer many things and be rejected of this generation. 26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it also shall be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 So also as it was in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but the day Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from the heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so it shall be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. 31 In that day he who shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise, he who is in the field, let him not return to the things behind. 32 Remember Lot’s wife. 33 Whoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it, and whoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two in one bed, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35 Two shall be grinding together, one will be taken, and the other left. 36 Two shall be in the field, one will be taken, and the other left. 37 And they answered and said to Him, Where, Lord? And He said to them, Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033

There are many people who kept Pentecost Sunday last weekend. Some are doing so this weekened June 12. Are you aware of the deep meaning of this day? If you did you would not be wondering when the Rapture would be. You would know for sure.
Come let us show you the deep meaning behind this Holy Day and how the understanding of it is revealing so many other truths. Order the book today and begin to learn these things right away.

The Riddle Rapture Book Offer

Once you understand the Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles then you will begin to understand prophecy unlike you have ever understood before. When is the Messiah coming? When is the Rapture?
Jesus spoke in parables so that those who would not obey would not understand. If you do not know when the time of HIs coming is, and when the Saints will be raised or changed in a twinkling of an eye, then maybe, just maybe you are one of those who will not obey.
Those who do obey know. Order both books today and begin to understand unlike you have dreamed of before. Order them both now.
Here is what one person wrote who read the book.
I love the enormous amount of Scripture the author uses in teaching and making a point. Taking a single verse out of context can totally skew the understanding (case in point, Psalm 10:4 and 14:1 both say that there is no God). Instead of leading his readers to his belief system, Mr Dumond lets the Bible lead the way! He just connects the dots.
There were so many Bible verses I never understood, despite many years of Sunday School and Bible studies. Many actually seemed to contradict each other. Once I learned that the Bible uses idioms it made such a difference in my understanding. In English we say things like “killing time” or “kicking the bucket” and recognize that they express something other then the sum of the individual words. Turns out that Hebrew (the language the Creator chose to record His words) uses many idioms also. Recognizing what they mean opened up my understanding!
I’m about to go thru this book a 2nd time as there is SO much I didn’t get it all the first time!
Order your copy today. Start to read it right now.

THE MARK OF THE BEAST – FREE

Like many of you, I have read so many different ideas as to what the “Mark of the Beast” is. This “Mark” has been said to be the social security cards, or credit cards, then it was thought to be the barcode system, which is largely how we all shop today, but this ISN’T even on our hands or foreheads as the scriptures state! Then it was the RFID chip planted in our hands that caused an uproar.
Our Bibles explain this if we would just read it. Let me explain this to you. This is FREE.

Once you have read the Mark of the Beast then you will be sent an email to read The Bismallah 666. So you must sign up for one to get the other.

The Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles reveal End-Time Prophecy

By understanding the Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles, you can know when the 7th Millennium will begin. You can also know when the Rapture will be. When the Messiah is going to come.
It is the only way you can understand the Daniel 9 prophecy. Because of this, we were the only Ministry warning you about 2020. We have been shouting out that WAR would start, famines would start, and Plagues would start in 2020 and in this 4th Sabbatical Cycle. We have entered the start of WW III; famines are on the Nightly News, and COVID has rocked the world.
I am still shouting this warning, but the next curse is too unbearable to say.  What is coming is so horrible that you do not want to know it. But it is coming non the less. Worldwide Drought, Worldwide Famine, and Genocide on an unimaginable scale.

Sabbath Meetings

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers songs and teaching from this hour.

Shabbat Services will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

Torah Portions

We read through the entire Torah, along with the Prophets and the New Testament, once over the course of 3 1/2 years. Or according to the Sabbatical Cycle, which means we read it all twice over a 7-year period. This allows us to cover more in-depth rather than being rushed to cover as much as is covered on an annual basis. We allow all to comment and take part in the discussions.

Septennial Torah Portion

If you go to Torah Portion at our archived section, you can then go to the 6th year which is the 6th year of the Sabbatical Cycle, the one we are in now, as we state at the top of every News Letter. There you can scroll down to October 8, 2022, and see that this Shabbat we could very well be midrashing about:

Leviticus 23

Ezekiel 23-25

1 Peter 1-2

If you missed last week’s exciting discoveries as we studied that section you can go and watch past Shabbats on our media section.

There is a constant number of people who struggle to know why we keep the Crescent Moon and Aviv Barley Calendar. When others come along with the Equinox or the  Sun, Moon & Star to justify the keeping of the Holy Days in another month. Others rely on only the Jewish Calendar, also known as the Hillel Calendar. Then there are the Enoch, Dead Sea, or Lunar Calendars that cause people to fall away. Then there are those who combine parts of one with the others to develop a new hybrid calendar which they are the only ones following.

The teaching I am about to share with you once again is the one that convinced me beyond all doubt as to which calendar to follow and exactly why. Grasp the reasons why and hang on to them. Do the study yourself and ask why am I saying this or that or quoting these scriptures. And if you do not discover the answers, then write to me and learn.

The Lev 23 Holy Days are the basic building blocks to understanding the entire Bible. Lev 25 is the key to understanding all end-time prophecy when combined with the Holy Days of Lev 23. So it is absolutely crucial for you to understand and then to be able to explain these things to others.

You are called to be a King who enforces the law and a priest who teaches the law. You cannot get into the Kingdom at this time on the shirttails of anyone else. So you must know these things.

The Entire calendar system depended on the first harvest of Barley. As of this writing, on October 20, 2022, the rains have begun in Israel. What that means is that the Barley and the wheat are now being moistened, and soon, they will sprout. Barley takes 90 days or less from when they sprout to the day they are harvested. Wheat takes 140 days.

If we count from now to November, December, and January, we have roughly 90 days. Now that the rains have started, we watch for the first signs of sprouting.

The reason why this is all so important to understand has to do with the death and resurrection of Yehshua and the host of captives He led from the grave. THIS IS HUUUGGEEE!!!!! It is critical for all of us to understand this.

Now that the Hillel people have concluded their festivities, now is the perfect time to look at this subject, so they have time to think about it before Passover comes.

Along with the Barley and the wheat harvest are the grapes, figs, dates, pomegranates and olives. These are the seven species, and they are all harvested, or they begin to harvest the first fruits of these crops in preparation for the Feasts during the time they mature.

If this is a review for you, then great. Teach it to someone else this week. If this is new to you, then study this thoroughly. It is that important. The second article that goes hand in hand with this one is the Return of Yehshua. Once you read them as one article, you will know which calendar you are to follow and why. There will be no more questioning each year or every time someone brings you a new thing to look at. Once you have the real deal, the fakes all fall to the side.

I wrote these articles back in 2004-2005. They were my catalyst to change and grow closer to Yehovah. I have not had to change them since I wrote them other than spelling and grammar corrections.  I pray they are a blessing to you all in grounding you in the truth so you know why you do what you do.

Pentecost’s Hidden Meaning

In the Old Testament, the word Pentecost is not there. This feast day was referred to as the “Feast of Weeks”( Ex. 34:22; Duet. 16:9-10) because it was celebrated seven weeks after the offering of the barley sheaf. Also known as the “Feast of the Harvest” ( Ex. 23:16) because it came at the end of the barley harvest, and it was also known as the ” Feast of First Fruits” ( Ex 34:22; Num. 28:26) because it marked the beginning of the first-fruits of the wheat harvest being offered at the temple. It is referred to in the New Testament as “Pentecost,” a term derived from the Greek pentekoste (meaning fiftieth).

The Counting of the Fifty What?

In ancient Israel, the grain harvest lasted 7 weeks, beginning with the barley harvest right after Passover and ending with the start of the wheat harvest seven weeks later on, Pentecost. The barley harvest was key to the whole religious calendar because Passover could not be observed until at least some of the barley was ready for harvest. The offering of the first barley wave offering took place on the day after the weekly Sabbath during the days of Unleavened Bread. This meant that if no barley was ready for harvest, the celebration of Passover had to be delayed by intercalating a month in the lunar calendar. Since barley ripens seven weeks before wheat, the ceremony of the barley wave sheaf offering, which fell on the day after the weekly Sabbath during the days of Unleavened Bread, marked the starting point of the fifty-day countdown to Pentecost.

This point is often not understood as to its importance and is also often confused or mixed up, thereby causing some to start counting the fifty days on the wrong day. I am going to spend some extra time here. Please bear with me.
The term “Feast of Weeks” refers to the entire period of the grain harvest of about seven weeks from the first cutting of the barley to the completion of the start of the wheat harvest. A feast that extends over seven weeks. But it was only the beginning and the end of the feasts that were marked by a wave offering (a Tenuphah).

The date of the Feast of Weeks was reckoned by counting seven weeks from the first putting of the sickle to the barley: “You shall count seven weeks for yourself; begin to count the seven weeks from the time you begin to put the sickle to the grain. (Duet. 16:9). The problem was to determine which day the first sheaf of barley, known as Omer, was to be cut and presented as a wave offering before Yehovah.

This determination was based on the instructions given in Leviticus 23:15-16 ‘And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to Yehovah.

We are to count from the ‘day after the Sabbath’. Since the term Sabbath is used to refer to both the seventh day of the week and to the annual Feast mentioned in the same chapter (Lev. 23:8, 21, 23, 32, 34), the question is “What is the meaning of “Sabbath” here, the seventh day of the week or festival day?”

If you look up the word Sabbath in the concordance you will see the weekly Sabbath and Atonement are Strong’s #7676 (shabbath). The other annual Sabbaths are Strong’s #7677 (shabbathon). So there is a difference in the word, but many have missed this little clue.

The Pharisees, as well as Philo and Josephus all, claim it was the day after the 1st day of Unleavened Bread. The Sadducees, Boethusians, Karaites and Samaritans all took the word Sabbath to mean a weekly Sabbath and not an annual one due to the fact that the word Sabbath by itself was never used to denote an annual Festival. So who is right?

I believe we should allow Yehshua to show us. We all know He was killed as the Passover Lamb on Nisan 14. We know He died in 31A.D and that Nisan 14 was a Wednesday. The sign of Jonah had to be completed in all of its phases. The only sign that was given to us that Yehshua was the Messiah was the sign of Jonah. Yehshua said that the function of three days and three nights in the belly of the whale or great fish of Jonah was the same as his ministry, and he would be three days and three nights in the belly of the earth (as the great fish). That was the only sign given to prove His ministry. So Thursday was the 1st day of Unleavened Bread, Friday was the Preparation day for the weekly Sabbath. Saturday was the weekly Sabbath. Three days and three nights. So Yehshua rose from the grave on the Sabbath just before sunset, just as He was placed in the grave Wednesday late afternoon just before sunset. Three days and three nights as prophesied.

Matt.28:1 Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.
Luke 24:1Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them,* came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. 2 But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. 3 Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. 5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, 7 saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ ” 8 And they remembered His words. 9 Then they returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles.

But it is in John 20 that we learn more.

1 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. 2 Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.” 3 Peter therefore went out, and the other disciple, and were going to the tomb. 4 So they both ran together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first. 5 And he, stooping down and looking in, saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there, 7 and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself. 8 Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. 9 For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. 10 Then the disciples went away again to their own homes. 11 But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. 12 And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. 13 Then they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.” 14 Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.” 16 Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher). 17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.‘ ” 18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her. 19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

I have marked out in bold that it was the first day of the week, before dawn, Yehshua had not yet ascended to heaven but was about to. It was the first day of the week. I have presupposed that you understand that the wave sheaf offering is Yehshua. Let me back up a little.

The Wave Sheaf Offering seems to have been waved at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning within the feast of the Passover. The general wave offering was brought by the worshipper and made in conjunction with the priest (Ex. 29:24-25). We know that the Samaritans and the Sadducees kept a Sunday Wave Sheaf and a Sunday Pentecost. That is an important factor in history. The Jews do not keep the Wave Sheaf because they keep a Sivan 6 Pentecost, which came from the traditions of the Pharisees in rabbinical Judaism after the Temple was destroyed. We know that the Samaritans keep the 14th and 15th and the concept of the Wave Sheaf and count the Omer from Sunday within the feast. So from the Temple period and right throughout, including the Samaritans, Pentecost has been kept on a Sunday. The early church kept Pentecost on a Sunday. Only the Jews kept a Sivan 6 and only after the Temple was destroyed.

The Wave Sheaf Offering needs to be kept in order to understand the full implications of Yehshua’s sacrifice and the power that he was given in terms of his resurrection from the dead. The Wave Sheaf Offering is an ancient requirement of Israel within the Torah. The ordinance is found in Leviticus 23:9-14 and also in Exodus 29:24-25 and other texts. It is poorly understood by scholars and ignored by many. It is a mandatory ordinance associated with the feast of the Passover and controls both the timing of Pentecost and the consumption of the new harvests (Lev. 23:9-14). To put it in its modern perspective, we should look at the significance of the timing of Yehshua’s death.

The Wave Sheaf Offering was known as sfirat haomer, that is, “the counting of the omer”, because on this day we begin to count the fifty days to Pentecost. It is described in

Lev. 23: 10 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 He shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted on your behalf; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12 And you shall offer on that day, when you wave the sheaf, a male lamb of the first year, without blemish, as a burnt offering to the Lord. 13 Its grain offering shall be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to the Lord, for a sweet aroma; and its drink offering shall be of wine, one-fourth of a hin. 14 You shall eat neither bread nor parched grain nor fresh grain until the same day that you have brought an offering to your God; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

This cutting of the first barley sheaf was a lively ceremony. The sheaf was cut the evening before on the edge of the city in front of a small crowd of worshippers. And they would do as they are told in

Duet. 26:1 “And it shall be, when you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and you possess it and dwell in it, 2 that you shall take some of the first of all the produce of the ground, which you shall bring from your land that the Lord your God is giving you, and put it in a basket and go to the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide. 3 And you shall go to the one who is priest in those days, and say to him, ‘I declare today to the Lord your God that I have come to the country which the Lord swore to our fathers to give us.’ 4 Then the priest shall take the basket out of your hand and set it down before the altar of the Lord your God. 5 And you shall answer and say before the Lord your God: ‘My father was a Syrian, about to perish, and he went down to Egypt and dwelt there, few in number; and there he became a nation, great, mighty, and populous. 6 But the Egyptians mistreated us, afflicted us, and laid hard bondage on us. 7 Then we cried out to the Lord God of our fathers, and the Lord heard our voice and looked on our affliction and our labor and our oppression. 8 So the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm, with great terror and with signs and wonders. 9 He has brought us to this place and has given us this land, “a land flowing with milk and honey”; 10 and now, behold, I have brought the first fruits of the land which you, O Lord, have given me.’ Then you shall set it before the Lord your God, and worship before the Lord your God. 11 So you shall rejoice in every good thing which the Lord your God has given to you and your house, you and the Levite and the stranger who is among you.

But it should be duly noted that the wave sheaf had to be prepared before it was waved in front of the Lord. Because it reads in

Leviticus 2:11 ‘No grain offering which you bring to the Lord shall be made with leaven, for you shall burn no leaven nor any honey in any offering to the Lord made by fire. 12 As for the offering of the first fruits, you shall offer them to the Lord, but they shall not be burned on the altar for a sweet aroma. 13 And every offering of your grain offering you shall season with salt; you shall not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your grain offering. With all your offerings you shall offer salt. 14 ‘If you offer a grain offering of your first fruits to the Lord, you shall offer for the grain offering of your first fruits green heads of grain roasted on the fire, grain beaten from full heads. 15 And you shall put oil on it, and lay frankincense on it. It is a grain offering. 16 Then the priest shall burn the memorial portion: part of its beaten grain and part of its oil, with all the frankincense, as an offering made by fire to the Lord.

So here we see that the first fruits were a grain offering; an offering of Green Ears, or green heads. It was to be roasted. The grain was to be beaten from the husks of the barley. And it was to have salt added to it, as well as Frankincense.
If we ignore the wave sheaf offering we are missing out on a significant part of the Passover Sacrifice. Yes, we all understand that Yehshua was the Passover Lamb. And we can connect the dots in this. But answer this question. When was the Lamb ever beaten? When did the lamb have its body beaten so badly that the flesh was exposed so that the bones of the ribs could be counted? It was not. Not a bone was to be broken. But the Barley Sheaf was to be beaten. It was to be beaten until the grain was exposed and fell from the husk. The Lamb was never beaten. The lamb in one sense represented Yehshua and in another sense the Barley also represented Yehshua. Yehshua would then have to be killed as the lamb and beaten as the barley and presented before Yahweh.
Each and every detail that was foretold in scriptures was to be fulfilled on that Passover day. Beaten is foretold in

Isaiah 53:4 Surely He has borne our grief’s And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

The consecration of the first-fruits sanctifies the whole harvest since the part stands for the whole. As Paul puts it,

“If the dough offered as first fruits is holy, so is the whole lump” ( Rom. 11:16)

By the symbolic gesture of consecrating the first fruits, the whole of the harvest was consecrated to Yehovah.
The idea that the consecration of a part exercises a sanctifying influence on all is applied in the Bible to the plan of salvation.

“Israel was holy to the Lord, The first fruits of His harvest” (Jer. 2:3 Hos. 9:10 )

Because it was called by Yehovah to exercise a sanctifying influence on all nations. Similarly, as Christians, we are ” a kind of firstfruits of His creatures: (James 1:8), because we are called to be a sanctifying influence in the world. Those who arose from the dead at the time of Yehshua’s resurrection became the first fruits, that is, the pledge of all those who will rise at the time of Yehshua’s return ( Matt. 27:52-53; Eph.4:8; 1 Thes. 4:13-18). The 144,000 saints who follow the Lamb are the first fruits for Yehovah and the Lamb” ( Rev. 14:4).
Paul specifically callsYehshua’s resurrection the first fruits of those who will rise from the dead.

“20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the first fruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.” (1Cor.15:20-24)

In this passage, Paul speaks of Yehshua twice as “the first Fruits,” not only to indicate that He was the first to rise bodily from the grave, but also that by so doing He fulfilled the offering of the first fruits. At Passover and Pentecost. We have noted that the Omer of the Sheaf of Barley was waved before Yehovah, by the priest as a pledge of the full harvest that would follow. The ceremony was performed on the day after the weekly Sabbath at about 9 AM, Sunday Morning. ” The wave sheaf offering, specifically the roasted omer of grain, with salt and frankincense, was a type of Christ, the “first fruits” or pledge, of the great harvest that will follow when all the righteous dead are raised at the second coming of Yehshua ( 1Cor. 15:23, 1 Thes. 4:14-16). Yehshua rose from the dead on the eve of the very day that the wave offering was presented in the Temple ( Lev. 23:14, Luke 23:56, 24:1) As the first sheaf was a pledge and assurance of the ingathering of the entire harvest, so the resurrection of Yehshua is a pledge that all who put their trust in Him will be raised from the dead.
Please take note. The Priest did not present before Yehovah just one head of grain, but a whole Omer of Barley. Salted and Frankincense were also added. Similarly, Yehshua did not come forth from the grave alone, for “many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised” (Matt. 27:52) Paul tells us that when Yehshua “ascended on high he led a host of captives” ( Eph. 4:8 RSV). Those who were raised at Yehshua’s death and came “out of the tombs after His resurrection” (Matt 27:53) ascended with Yehshua to heaven as trophies of His powers to resurrect all who sleep in the grave. Just as the Omer of Barley was a pledge of the coming harvest, so the saints that Yehshua raised at the time of His death are a pledge of a future harvest of Saints.
We must pause here and ask the question. It says in John 3:13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of
Man who is in heaven. This was Yehshua speaking to Nicodemus, and when Yehshua said it, it was true. No one but Yehshua had gone to heaven. Not until Yehshua died, and was raised up from the grave. Then He took a host of Saints to Heaven for the very first time.
I have just quoted many scriptures that prove this, and Paul himself says so. But look at what John is shown in his vision in

Rev 4:1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” 2 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. 3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. 4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. 5 And from the throne proceeded lightning’s, thundering, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. 6 Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.
8 The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” 9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: 11 “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”

There are now 24 elders in heaven sitting on thrones, wearing white robes. These are the saints that ascended to heaven with Yehshua at His resurrection. If this is beyond your comprehension then stop here and reread all that I have said up until now. These are the first fruits. Yehovah is showing us that He is going to do as He said and raise us up from the dead. This is so unbelievable: Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses and the prophets. All the scriptures say first fruits. Never first Fruit in the singular. Never Yehshua alone, but with others.
Who are these elders again?

Elder is in Strong’s Concordance #4245 originally spelled presbuvteroß and means -elder, of age, the elder of two people, advanced in life, an elder, a senior , forefathers , a term of rank or office.

Note that it means forefathers-humans who were born and lived before us. These 24 elders were not created by Yehovah but were born on earth and lived and died having not received the promise. But now John is telling us they are now in Heaven with Yehovah and have now received that promise. How great is this? How unbelievable?
Also note that in Matt.5:13 Yehshua told the apostles that they and we are the salt of the earth. We are the salt of the wave offering.

Pentecost

The meaning of Pentecost is found not only in the offering of first fruits which took place on the first and fiftieth day, but also in the fact that it lasted fifty days, that is to say, seven times seven weeks, plus a day. From this characteristic the usual titles are derived, the Feast of Weeks or Pentecost (fiftieth).
Meaning is found through reasoning about the meaning of the seventh day Sabbath, which is the basis for the seven weeks structure of time. The Sabbath provided release and liberation from the hardship of life and social inequalities, not only every seven days but also every seven years (sabbatical year-Lev. 25:4) and every seven weeks of years (Jubilee year-Lev. 25:8).
The common denominator between the seven weeks of days and the seven weeks of years is the number 50, which was the symbol of remission of debts.
As with other great feasts, a special offering was made in addition to the daily burnt offering. The main offering of Pentecost was a special cereal offering consisting of “two loaves of bread ”

( Lev. 23:17) 15 ‘And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. 16 Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the Lord. 17 You shall bring from your dwellings two wave loaves of two-tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven. They are the first fruits to the Lord. 18 And you shall offer with the bread seven lambs of the first year, without blemish, one young bull, and two rams. They shall be as a burnt offering to the Lord, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma to the Lord. 19 Then you shall sacrifice one kid of the goats as a sin offering, and two male lambs of the first year as a sacrifice of a peace offering. 20 The priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits as a wave offering before the Lord, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to the Lord for the priest. 21 And you shall proclaim on the same day that it is a holy convocation to you. You shall do no customary work on it. It shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

The loaves were made with flour milled from the new wheat crop and baked with leaven. The loaves were presented as a wave offering on behalf of all the people. None of the bread was placed on the altar because it was baked with leaven. Along with the two loaves, two lambs were offered as a wave offering. Pentecost was an offering of loaves with leaven as a wave offering, just as the omer of barley was a wave offering of firstfruits. Pentecost’s wave offering had leaven in it and it too was a first fruits offering. It was also accompanied by a sin offering.
Although we all know that on Pentecost Yehovah gave to Israel the Torah by His very own voice, with thunder and trumpets blasting (Ex. 19,20) and also of the Holy Spirit to the Apostles (Acts 2:3), do we realize Pentecost holds yet another secret? It is the day the second crop of saints is to be raised up from the grave, and even those that are still alive at that time. They are the second wave offering of leaven loaves.

John 4: 32 But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.” 33 Therefore the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?” 34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. 35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! 36 And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. 37 For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’ 38 I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.”

Yehshua said the fields are already white for the harvest. When he said don’t look ahead and say four more months He was saying don’t look to the harvest at the fall feast days. Look now at Pentecost, which is four months before the Feast of Trumpets (the day the Messiah Returns), The Day of Atonement (the time when Satan is put away) and The Feast of Tabernacles (The Wedding Feast)

Matt. 13:24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”

Pentecost is the start of the wheat harvest and the wheat is lost amongst the many false followers of the Messiah. The tares are then separated. By their works, you’ll know them, and the wheat is then saved in the King’s barn.

See how Yehshua himself explains it.

Matt 13: 36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.” 37 He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

When Yehshua told the Apostles about the end time, and in particular, Matt.24:22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake, those days will be shortened.
How could he shorten the time for the elect, unless, instead of our redemption taking place on the Feast of Trumpets as we have always been taught, it takes place on the Feast of Pentecost? He must do all things in relation to the Holy Days that He has had Israel performing since Mount Sinai. The Holy Days are a rehearsal of future events.

Conclusion

Yehshua was the wave sheaf of Passover or First Fruits, with an “S” for more than one, and ascended to heaven with a host of captives, as Paul has said. The apostle John says that there are 24 elders in heaven today wearing crowns and worshipping Yehovah. These are those Yehshua led with Him on that Sunday that the wave offering of barley was presented in the Temple. The wave offering of Pentecost, the two wheat loaves, are those that have followed this way of life and obeyed the laws of Yehovah. Although not perfectly as is represented by the leaven in the offering. All those that have died since Yehshua’s death in 31 AD up until His return and those who are still alive at His return will be raised up at Shavuot or Pentecost.

1 Cor15:50-58 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
“O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Thess 4:13-18 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Now compare these verses above to those that follow.

Isaiah 27:12-13 And it shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord will thresh,
From the channel of the River to the Brook of Egypt;
And you will be gathered one by one,
O you children of Israel.
So it shall be in that day:
The great trumpet will be blown;
They will come, who are about to perish in the land of Assyria,
And they who are outcasts in the land of Egypt,
And shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
Exodus 19:16-19 Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice.

This is not a second resurrection, but it is part of the First Resurrection that began on the day Yehshua was raised from the dead. Just as the Wave Sheaf offering during the Days of Unleavened Bread is the beginning, so is Pentecost the conclusion of the Wave Offering 50 days later. Those raised with Messiah in 31 AD were the beginning and those alive at His return along with those that have died in His name will be raised up at Shavuot, Pentecost if they are keeping the Torah and the commandments. The one that those under the altar await.

Rev. 6:9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

They are given white robes just as the 24 elders were dressed in white, representing righteousness, in preparation for the wedding. Matt 22. Where we must come dressed in righteousness in order to be a part of the wedding party.

Psalm 119:172 My tongue shall speak of Your word, For all Your commandments are righteousness.

THE RETURN OF YESHUA

I have for years, as a pet project, tried to calculate the return of the Messiah. Whenever I would get some new information I would add it up with what I thought I knew. It has always held my interest. Many have tried to do calculations and have had endless theories, but who is correct? How can we ever figure out when He will return? But in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-28 is a line that has always said to me that we could know when.

Thessalonians 5:1-5 1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labour pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. (NKV though out. Cut Paste from Crosswalk.com)

We who are followers of Yahweh are to understand. We are not in the darkness as the rest of the world is. We were to be ready so as not to be surprised as if a thief had sneaked up on us.
In my studies over the years, I have studied the Jubilee, and Land Rest Years. I studied the Feasts and what they meant in times past and what they mean today and what they mean in the future. I am still studying them for an even deeper meaning. I look at the sacrifices and the rituals that the priest performed. I have learned a great deal. As I began to understand these things, Ezekiel 33: 1 – 33 comes to mind.

Ezekiel 33: 1 – 33 1 Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman, 3 when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, 4 then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’ 7 “So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me. 8 When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. 9Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

Now let me say right up front I could be wrong. I have had no visions or dreams and no one has spoken to me from heaven. But what if I am right, and I don’t speak up? What if after many die, it was up to me to speak up and I did not. Woe is me!
So I will speak up now and put my name on this document and risk the ridicule I will receive from my brethren and others. And maybe this will cause some to get ready and others to begin to study and learn and search out the scriptures. And maybe others still will laugh and carry on as if nothing has been said.
Right now some are already quoting Matthew 24. But read it carefully.

Matthew 24:32-51 32 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near–at the doors! 34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. 36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. 45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of,, 51 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near–at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, , and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

In this passage, our Messiah says a number of things, but most people stop at But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
They don’t read or they don’t grasp what is being said when He saysWatch, therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is comingSo now we are told to watch. We who are His sheep don’t know the hour. Do we now know the Day? And why can’t we know the hour?
He then says to us concerning the thief in the night, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
Again we are told at an hour we do not expect. And again He does not say that we won’t know the day. But of the evil servant He says “the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of,”
He says the evil servant won’t know the day or the hour. WHY?
I have already quoted Paul in 1

Thessalonians 5:1 -But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you.”

Why did Paul not need to write to them concerning the times and season? What is he talking about? Paul is talking about the Holy Days that they kept in the appropriate seasons. They were keeping the Holy Days correctly.

So what does this mean? The Holy Days are shadow pictures of good things to come.

Colossians 2:16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, 17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.

Hebrews 8: 4 Now if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at all, since there are priests who offer gifts according to the law. They serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly things. For when Moses was about to erect the tent, he was instructed by God, saying, “See that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown you on the mountain.”

So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths,

Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect., and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect.

The Thessalonians were keeping the Holy Days correctly and they understood the meaning of each day. Each Holy Day represented a part of our Father’s plan for mankind. I think we all know this. But do we forget that the Sabbath years and the Jubilee Years are also shadow pictures, of good things to come? I can go on for hours in laying down my research this subject, but I will try to come to a summary as quickly as possible and allow the reader to go and research these things themselves like the Bereans.
The Evil servant and those who will not obey Yahweh and His Torah, will not know the Day or the Season, because they won’t be keeping the Holy Days at the correct time or on the correct day, or even keeping them at all. The Good servants will have made themselves ready. Their garments for the wedding, will have been washed white and pressed and laid aside ready to be put on at the exact hour. Read Matthew 25, and Matthew 22, and get yourself ready. But also note the servants are working to increase the money left them by the King. To increase the Holy Spirit each one was given, when we were all called. How much have you gained? How worked up is the Spirit in you?
So what day are we talking about? It is the Feast of Trumpets. This is the day the Messiah is to return. This is the day Yahshua was born in 3 BC. Do some research and you’ll see I am correct on this point. And because it is the Feast of Trumpets, this is why we won’t know the exact hour. I’ll explain.
From all the research I have gathered, the Feast begins in the Seventh month of Tishri, and it begins when the new moon can first be seen in Jerusalem. This is Tishri 1 and the Feast of Trumpets. Once the new moon is spotted, at least two witnesses had to report to the Temple and tell the Guard who would go and get the High Priest and notify him that they had two witnesses. The High Priest would call for the two to come up to him and he would interview the two witnesses to make sure they could see the silver crescent of the new moon and that the sun had set before they saw it. Once the High Priest was satisfied he would call the rest of the Sanhedrin and announce the Feast has arrived and command for the trumpets to be blown announcing the Feast of Trumpets, so all would know. There are many that will disagree with my conclusions.
But consider what I have just said. Everyone is waiting for this announcement to start the Feast. But they are still working away at their job. They already have made their garments white and pressed them. The food for the Feast is prepared in advanced waiting. No one knows when the Shofar is to blow. So they keep on working. Two in the field working side by side. One will be taken. Two women kneading bread side by side. One will be taken.
When the Messiah returns on the Feast of Trumpets, no one will know the hour nor the day, because they won’t know if the moon is going to be sighted today or the next day. [I am referring to a crescent Moon with 1% visibility. A Moon with 2% or more should be easily seen.] But they will know the Feast day is close to being announced. And once it is sighted there is a procedure to go through before it is declared official. Then the shofars are blown then the Messiah returns.
If the ones that are chosen are taken while their fellow workers are left behind, how can this be a Feast day if they are still working? If it was a conjuncture moon it would have been predicted in advance and on a day or two before. But, because it is a sighted visible crescent moon that marks the beginning of the first day of the new month. The seventh month, Tishri 1. The Feast of Trumpets, because it is sighted and not known for sure whether it is today or tomorrow, that the Feast begins. That is why the brethren are still working alongside those that won’t be keeping the Holy days at the right time or in the right month.
So if Yahshua follows the example that he gave us in how exactly down to the detail he fulfilled the spring Holy Days, then we can expect Him to also fulfill the fall Holy Days down to the exact detail.
Prepare your garments now and have them white and pressed and ready to be put on when the Shofar is finally blown. Don’t be the one, or let your children or grandchildren be the one left in the field when others are being raised up. Get ready now! He is coming, and soon! Are you ready? Will you be ready?
OK, let’s pause a second and consider the conjuncture Moon. As we all know it is calculated in advance and we know this year and even years down the road that the Feast of Trumpets is going to be on a certain day. We even plan our Feasts years in advance and book rooms and make plans and book air travel. Why because we know the day of the Feast.
But Yahshua said we would not know which day was the Feast. With a calculated conjuncture Moon you do know what day the Feast is and in effect are calling Yahshua a liar. The other thing a conjuncture Moon and the Hebrew calendar do not take into consideration is the Wave Offering which I discuss in the article Pentecost’s Hidden Meaning. Because we don’t know from year to year when the Barley is going to be ripe until it is actually seen in Israel. If, we don’t know when the beginning of the year is, how can we know when the seventh month will be. And then once we know when the seventh month is we still won’t know which day is the Feast of Trumpets until we see the new Crescent Moon. These two variables prove what Yahshua said in

Matt 24: 36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

We will not know the day or the hour until it happens. In 2005 I kept the Holy Days according to this method. The Barley was early. This caused all the Holy Days to be one month earlier than the Hebrew Calendar. The seventh new Moon was sighted in September and sent out as follows. “On Monday, September 5, 2005, the New Moon of the Seventh Biblical Month was sighted from Israel marking Yom Teruah, the Day of Shouting (Trumpets).”
In this example, if Yahshua had returned this Feast of Trumpets, those of us who were ready would have been chosen while those who thought it was a month away [using the Hebrew Calendar] would have still been working in the fields. [Those using the Barley and a conjunction Moon as the starting point would have been celebrating a day earlier due to the conjunction.]
This example clearly shows that the Day is not known in advance, and never can be really. And the hour also is unknown. A 1 % visible moon is not always seen from Israel. If it is not seen then for sure it will be the next day. And I feel this is what David is doing in 1Samuel 20. The new Crescent was not seen that night therefore it was going to be the next one. Make no mistake a sighted crescent moon can be calculated. But a marginal crescent moon is not always seen. This is the variable.
The conclusion of this paper is not to show when the Messiah is to return. No, but rather, to show why we cannot know the day or the Hour of His return. It is because of this method in determining the New Moon, which marks the beginning of the new Month. It has to be sighted. This fact is taken in relation to the Barley and Wave offering clearly show why we will not know when He is to return. At least not the Day or the Hour.

There is a bit of a riddle in Zechariah about the return of our Messiah that is plain to see when one who keeps the proper day understands that the moment of the sighting of the moon on the Feast of Trumpets is that moment that is both day and night and summer and winter all at the same time:

    Zechariah 14:6-9 (King James Version)

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

Prophet Joe, why have the Jewish people never accepted Jesus as the Messiah?

Shabbat Shalom Jesus Santos, On the contrary, in the early days after Yehshua died, thousands upon thousands were converting to follow Yehshua.

Act 2:41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized. And the same day there were added about three thousand souls.

So these 3000 persons left the scribes and Pharisees, and put themselves under the teaching of the apostles, professing the Way also known as the Natzarene doctrine, and acknowledging that Christ was come, and that he who was lately crucified by the Jews was the promised and only Messiah; and in this faith they were baptized.

We also read another conversion in

Act 21:20 And hearing, they glorified the Lord, and said to him, You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are who believe, and they are all zealous of the Law.

Understand that the Jews were moving from a Pharisaic or Saducian teaching of the torah to one taught by the Apostles. It was the same Torah with minor changes in points of view. The major point was that Yehshua was the Messiah.

But over the course of the next 400 years, paganism came into the Way or the Natzarenes by way of Simon Magus, who mixed his Babylonian teachings with the Way or the Apostolic teachings.
Also during this time an distinct anti jewish position developed and then in 321 Constantine created the Sunday law and began to separate Christianity away from the Sabbath and Holy Days, making it impossible for Jews to join them without breaking the law.

We explain all of this and much more in our Newest book The Restoration of All Things. We show you what was lost and why and when. Once you understand this, you will know why Jews do not follow Christians nor believe in a Jesus who, according to Christianity, did away with the Law.

Once we all return to keeping the Torah, more of the Jewish faith will learn that Yehshua kept the Torah and never did away with it, and then they too will believe. Many do already believe in a Yehshua who kept the Torah.

Mike at first i was excited as this seemed to show a mark in time but now I can see this requires much more study in order to understand clearly as the english does not immediately correlate with the hebrew. Specifically the words “clear” and “dark” in the old king james.
The word for clear means precious, dear, costly.
The word for dark means condense, congeal, something frozen.
And the word for dark is used twice beside each other in the JPS version. Also in the JPS the word clear is sunlight and the word for dark is moonlight.
All is not as it seems. The true meaning is there I’m sure but it is obscured by the translation.
Thanks for the inspiration to study.

Kurt frozen is the word. Time and season are frozen when He walked through the door (Dalet) when He returned.

Allow me to draw your attention to various Commentaries on the subject of Ephesians 4:8.

John Gill :- he led captivity captive; which is expressive of Christ’s conquests and triumph over sin, Satan, the world, death, and the grave; and indeed, every spiritual enemy of his and his people, especially the devil, who leads men captive at his will, and is therefore called captivity, and his principalities and powers, whom Christ has spoiled and triumphed over

Jamieson-Fausset-Brown :- captivity – In the antitypical meaning, the foes of Christ the Son of David, the devil, death, the curse, and sin led as it were in triumphal procession as a sign of the destruction of the foe.

F B Meyer :- in Jesus’ ascension, a long procession of yet mightier foes was led captive by Him. Among them were Death, the Grave, and Hades, the underworld.

Matthew Henry :- Captivity is here put for captives, and signifies all our spiritual enemies, who brought us into captivity before. He conquered those who had conquered us; such as sin, the devil, and death.

It seems from these commentaries that it was captivity that was taken captive, not the ‘captives’ themselves. The sentance written in the main body of this letter reads as follows – Paul tells us that when Yehshua “ascended on high he led a host of captives” ( Eph. 4:8 RSV). This seems to be a very bad translation. The KJV (and many others) reads correctly – “When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive”

Yeshua did say in John 3:13 that no one has ascended up to heaven, but we also have to be cognicant of the fact that John wrote this many decades after Yeshua had died. So, it was still very relevant at the time of writing.

Yehovah bless you and keep you all.

It’s kind of a side topic… but, what I have been trying to get a clearer pattern of is that I am seeing that the resurrection of the saints occurs on Shavuot (also known as Weeks or Pentecost) and that the return of our Messiah is on Yom Teruah (also known as Trumpets, as described in this newsletter).

So this causes me to contemplate the year 2033, as it looks like the saints are resurrected a couple months before the Messiah returns. But, I can’t seem to find a representation of this “gap” in the scriptures anywhere.

    Anybody have thoughts on this?

Thank you, Mike, for making this very clear in Joe’s letter:

that the resurrection of the saints occurs on Shavuot (also known as Weeks or Pentecost) and that the return of our Messiah is on Yom Teruah (also known as Trumpets.

Joe, it would be beneficial to your readers, to have this presented as a conclusion in future writings. My hats off to brother, Joe, for all his teaching’s.
