Happy New Year 2010

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

News Letter 5846-001
1st day of the First month 5846 years after creation
The First Month in of the first year of the third Sabbatical Year
The Third Sabbatical Year of the 119th Jubilee Cycle

March 18, 2010

Shalom Brethren,

And Rosh Hashanah and Happy New Year and Happy New Moon day for this the first day of the Month of Aviv in the First year of the third Sabbatical cycle of this the 119th Jubilee cycle since the creation of Adam. For those who are new and trying to come to grips with this you can read an article: “This year of 5843 or the Jewish year 5767 Why the difference? The missing Kings,” about how this year is 5846 and not 5770 as Judah claims.

With the Barley being declared and now that the New Moon has not been sighted on the 29th day of the month we can now determine when the Spring Holy Days will take place. Because each month is either 29 or 30 days in duration. Since the New Moon of the 12th month was sighted at sundown February 15th and it will be astronomically impossible to see the new moon at the end of the 29th day of the 12th month, by default it will be the Aviv Moon at sundown on Wednesday evening, March 17th in Israel whether the New Moon is sighted or not.

More Aviv Barley Found, Moon Not Sighted

We looked for the moon from Israel tonight (Mar 16) but did not sight it. With only 0.77% of the illuminated portion of the moon facing earth, visibility was not expected from Israel and our attempted observations confirmed this. Tomorrow evening (Mar 17) will be New Moon Day by default, although we will still carry out observations to confirm its visibility from Israel.

Earlier today we found more Aviv barley, this time in the Northern Negev at three locations in the vicinities of Tel Gama, Nachal Oz, and Kibbutz Erez. Samples of the barley were 80-100% Aviv at the various locations.

I have also posted photos of Aviv at the three locations on the Karaite Korner website at:

So here then are the Holy Days for 5846 which is 2010.

Rosh Hashanah is From Sunset Wednesday March 17- and the day part of Thursday March 18.

You now count 14 days to the when the Passover Lamb is to be killed. This is from the EVENING OF March 30 and the day of March 31. On March 31 at 3PM is the time when the Passover lamb is killed. This is when Yeshua is killed.

The first day of Unleavened Bread is from the Evening of March 31 to the day of April 1. This is the evening that the Death Angel Passed Over the camp of Israel.

We now count 7 days of Unleavened bread when no leaven is to be found in your property. So get to you spring cleaning.
The Last day of Unleavened Bread is Evening of April 6 and day of April 7.

The Wave Sheaf Day is Sunday April 4 and this the day we begin to count the Omer for 50 days.

Leviticus 23:11 ‘And he shall wave the sheaf before ????, for your acceptance. On the morrow after the Sabbath the priest waves it.
15 ‘And from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, you shall count for yourselves: seven completed Sabbaths. 16 ‘Until the morrow after the seventh Sabbath you count fifty days, then you shall bring a new grain offering to ????

There has been a lot of hype this past couple of weeks about the Tekufah and it has got some of your wondering whether you should be keeping Passover this month or in April as a few would have you believe. We are told in Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

How do you work it out? It means you get off your butts and do the research and prove these things true or false. It does not mean you wait until the last minute and do what everyone else does or the majority. I have had way too many of you write me this week asking what to do? Which is the right method? Obviously I believe the way I am doing it is the right method. What you want me to do is to tell you what to do.

Here are some articles for you to read and consider. This first one is from an orthodox Jew who is now teaching about the Sighted Moon. http://www.hamodia.com/inthepaper.cfm?ArticleID=534

The Sanhedrin is also looking at the Sighted Moon; Read what they say on their home page. http://sites.google.com/site/moonsoc/sanhedrin

Here is another group who show us how the Sanhedrin are preparing for when the Moon will be sighted. http://www.nwchurch-of-god.org.uk/newmoonsociety.html You can also order the video from them about how to begin the year.

And if you are willing to study some more here is more about the calendar. Admissions on the Calculated Rabbinical Calendar

Now concerning the tekufah, I refer you to the questions and answers at http://www.karaite-korner.org/abib_faq.shtml One last point. I have read this report that is shaking some of the faithful. I have noticed how the person who is circulating it is very demeaning of those who support the sighted moon and the Barley being aviv method. He has named Nehemiah Gordon and Michael Rood and has been calling them a host of names. This should be your first clue as to the source he is working with. If you disagree with someone on any point there is no need to personally attack those who differ from you. But this is what is going to happen in the years to come, only it will escalate at some point.

As I have been telling you Brethren in past News letters, If you Love Yahweh You will keep the commandments. You will also be known by the love you have for the brethren. On the other hand you will also be known by the hatred that some are proclaiming to be from Yah. Be careful of your sources.

This past Sunday I was on Talk Shoe with Maria Merola talking about the Wave Sheaf and Good Friday. For the New Brethren this may help clear up some things about this time of year. You can listen at http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkCast.jsp?masterId=27750&cmd=tc and then click on DPI #47 The Biblical New Year & The Good Friday & Lent Myth

One Gentleman wrote in and said the following about the show.

I listened to the 14th interview with Joe Dumond and I Have to say that it was the best/meaning easiest to understand and most informative teaching that I have ever heard, and that includes Eddie C, Michael R, or any of the leading Hebraic teachers of our time. Maria thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into your teachings!

This will be my first Passover and you made it so clear what the Scriptures say concerning how, what, where, when!

Shalom!

I continue to receive emails asking a host of questions. For some of you the answers may be found in the following articles on the Sightedmoon Newsletter Archives. Also with this new Sabbatical Cycle the Third one we are going to begin to read the Torah and the New Covenant over 3 and 1/2 years as was done in ancient times. I will continue to place my articles here but will try to comment on the Triennial readings each week. You can print it off at the bottom of this report so that you have it.

My thanks goes to Judy Andrews for her work in compiling this for all of us to use.

Hi Joseph,

The first triennial cycle reading based upon the Sabbatical cycle with Year 1 beginning next Aviv 1 is completed. This schedule is subject to the aviv barley being found in The Land in the first month. If a 13th month needs to be added, then the dates on this schedule will have to be changed by a month.
May Father be pleased with the manner in which His Word is studied by this schedule. I put it together with prayer, and i hope you are able to use it. There is an excitement to returning to the ancient triennial schedule following Father’s calendar and the sabbatical cycle.
The additional readings for the Feasts of Yah are also included.

In Kingdom Service,
Judy

The Triennial reading of the scriptures used to be read twice over a Sabbatical 7 year Cycle. This is what we are attempting to restore. It will give us more time on the each section to study them more deeply each week. This is just the same as the annual Torah readings only now it will be twice over 7 years. We will make some mistakes along the way, but I hope you will work through them with us as we grow.

For Nisan 14 The Day the Lamb was killed we have the following links for each day of Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread. During the Days of Unleavened Bread you are not to eat anything with Leaven in it and there should not be any on your property. Throw it out and do not bring it back in. It represents sin. Do not bring sin back into your life.

We will read these passages during each of the days of Unleavened Bread. I hope it helps you to see the events that we are commemorating. I also like to watch the movie the Ten Commandments and The Passion during this time. You might like to rent them for your family.

Please print off the attachment and use it to do the reading of the entire bible over the next 3 1/2 years. Also I am including a link and would like you to also print it out so that you know what the 613 laws are that everyone refers to. Again I will attempt to state 7 of them for each week. Here is the link to the page http://www.jewfaq.org/613.htm It took me 24 pages to do this.

Last week: “Newsletter 5845-062    Hardening of your Heart & The Barley is Aviv 2010″, I wrote the following.

You also know from our studies that Pestilence almost always goes with famines, and this is also what we are expecting during this next 7 year period as well. As well because you have been proving these things to yourselves and not just believing me because I said so, you also know that the only place where earthquakes and Pestilences and famines were mentioned together was in Mathew 24 when Yeshua described the next 7 years period. In the very next verse Yeshua says in verse 8 that All these are the beginning of sorrows. This is just the beginning. Ponder on that. It is now just getting to the point where there will be sorrows. Sorrows is also translated as birth pangs and also as troubles.

The Orthodox and Hassidic Rabbonim Declare “Time of Jacob’s Trouble” – Reported by ben Yosef – March 22, 2001.
At the Western Wall today and in yeshivas and synagogues and religious schools throughout Israel the sound of shofar blasts, the singing of Hebrew Psalms and cries and tears and wails of repentance were heard in response to a declaration by the Gedolei Yisrael (Great Ones of Israel) formally recognizing the beginning of the “time of Jacob’s trouble.”

The next verse of Mathew 24 is verse 9 and Yeshua warns us that 9 Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Having said that last week, I was then sent this News article. You can read it at http://www.adfmedia.org/News/PRDetail/3886 Home groups are coming under the attention of the authorities.
