Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,
Last week we explained the calendar uses postponement rules to move the Holy Days by one two or three days. We compared that to the Pope changing the Sabbath by just one day. So the Pope and those using the Hillel Calendar are doing the exact same thing and both feel justified in their sins.
This week we are going to show you how Judah changed the Shmita year and moved it from its proper place.
Third Year Tithe
There are still just under three months left until the Shmitah Year begins. Have you begun to store food away for the Sabbatical year from Aviv 1, 2023, to Aviv 1, 2024? If you have, then that is awesome. I want to remind you not to neglect the Widows in this 6th year so they, too, can store food away.
If you want to be blessed by Yehovah during this coming time with high inflation and high prices for food, then do not neglect your duty now to your brethren. We kept the Feast last month, and the donations for the widows have dropped off. I will assume you are all now giving to those you know personally, and this is awesome. But if, on the other hand, you have just stopped because of donor fatigue, then be forewarned.
I want to remind and ask you all, have you remembered the widows and the orphans this year thus far? We are now in the 6th month. Many of you have supported this cause and I want to thank you on their behalf. I will keep reminding you about this responsibility for the entirety of this year. But this year does not end until Aviv, 2023. So we are not yet halfway. And having now sent out another payment to the widows, I can tell you that we have dropped off by about 60% in our support of this cause.
Let me share with you what one widow recently wrote to me about the recent flooding in Kentucky. Notice how your generosity towards this Widow was used to help those in that flood.
Thank you Bro Joe for all your efforts to be a blessing which I for one truly appreciate. And pray Father will bless you 1000fold in return. The devastation an hour from me is so hard to fathom. I found out today that a couple of sisters I had gone to church with and had moved back home to Hazard lost everything but what one could put in 2 Walmart bags. I wanted to help in some way but did not know what I could do until I saw their post, So was able to give them 100$. The sister I gave it too had come back to London to stay with a friend and replied you don’t have this to give – but I told her, Yes, I do. I have been blessed and I will bless you. An answer to prayer for me as I wanted to help somehow. My son just came and told me that he had heard that there have been some suicides by those who have lost everything. So sad for everyone, especially to the family who had 4 children torn away from them. As bad as this is, I know worse is coming.
Brethren I do want to encourage you not to let up in your support. We all want to receive the blessings, which only come when you comply with the law. This 6th year is the prelude to the 7th year of rest. The Sabbatical year also has things that you are to do to be in compliance with the Kingdom laws. 2024 is the start of the 10 Days of Awe and you do not want to be found out of His Grace at that time.
2022 is the 6th year of the 4th Sabbatical cycle. And anyone who has been reading our website for any time will know how to prove beyond all doubt when the Sabbatical and Jubilee years are. Once you have done that then you will know when the 3rd and the 6th year of the Sabbatical Cycles are. We are told to raise a tithe every third year for the widow, the orphan and the Levite in your gates.
Here is a very severe warning from Yehovah to each of us.
Exo 22:21 You shall neither vex a stranger nor oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child. If you afflict them in any way, and they cry at all to Me, I will surely hear their cry. And My wrath shall become hot, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall be widows, and your sons fatherless.
We have now sent out (as of June 20, 2022) our 4th round of gift offerings that you have sent in for the widows and orphans. We have also supported a couple of other ministries that aid us in doing this work. This will fulfill the Levite part of the commandment. It was our desire to get the funds to them as we are told to do in Deuteronomy.
Deu 14:28 At the end of three years you shall bring forth all the tithe of your increase the same year, and shall lay it up inside your gates.
Deu 14:29 And the Levite, because he has no part nor inheritance with you, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are inside your gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied, so that Jehovah your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.
We will soon be making another gift to them. If you do not know of anyone in the faith who is a widow or orphan then you can send it to us. Make sure you write me to let me know that those funds are for the widows and I will see to it they get it. But if you do not write me then I will not know where to apply your donation.
May each one of you who has given to this cause, be blessed as Boaz was blessed by Yehovah for his generosity. May each one of you be known for your support of the laws that will make the Kingdom of Yehovah strong and righteous. And may Yehovah bless you so that what you give is never missed and you never lack for your generosity towards Yehovah’s heart.

With the understanding of when every Sabbatical and Jubilee year was throughout history, you can then begin to see patterns develop of when Yehovah brought about major historical events. The Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles reveal End-Time Prophecy
There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. What are we doing and why do we teach this way?
We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.
The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.
Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.
Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.
Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.
We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.
We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.
Jas 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

Or according to the Sabbatical Cycle, which means we read it all twice over a 7-year period. Blood Moon November 8, 2022
Exactly When To See Election Day’s ‘Blood Moon’ Total Lunar Eclipse From Every U.S. State
Are you ready to get up early—or stay up late—to watch the second total lunar eclipse of 2022 and the last until 2025? On the morning of Tuesday, November 8, 2022 a spectacular reddish Moon will be visible across North America.
Unlike the recent partial solar eclipse this will be a completely safe event to look at with your naked eyes—no eclipse glasses, binoculars or telescope required.
An eclipse of the Moon is a global event occurring at exactly the same time, but it’s observable only by those on the night-side of Earth. For this total lunar eclipse that includes all of North America.
However, since there are timezones the local times are different. This is exactly what’s going to be visible, where from and when:
During the event the Moon will move through Earth’s fuzzy outer shadow (penumbra) and into its deep, dark inner shadow (umbra), where it will turn a dark reddish-copper color for 85 minutes.
Here’s when to see the “Blood Moon” total lunar eclipse from every U.S. state and time-zone (though if you want to see the partial eclipse phase—when the Moon begins to go red, which is a dramatic sight in itself—get outside an hour before these times):

This is the man I have been watching and listening to for years. I want to share with you what he see coming. Are you prepared?
Is the Sabbatical Year 2021-2022 or 2023-2024?
According to Chabad.org they say the following.
The year 5782 on the Jewish calendar (Sept. 7, 2021–Sept. 26, 2022) will be the next Sabbatical year.
The year following the destruction of the second Holy Temple (3829 from creation, equivalent to 68–69 CE) was the first year of the seven-year Sabbatical cycle. We continue counting sevens from then.
Is it possible to know when the Sabbatical years are? And if so then is it possible to know when the Jubilee Year is?
The answer is yes, absolutely. The trouble is most people are just too lazy to sit down and do the actual work of figuring it out. Instead, they rely on their authorities to tell them. And when another “Authority” comes along and says something different yet again, the people get confused because they do not have the resources to back up what they believe. They just refer you to the group that they heard it from first.
Here at sightedmoon.com, we have provided you with all the information you could imagine so that you can prove all things and know for a fact that this is it. Some of you have acted on that information and are now teaching. That is awesome. Many others still say Joe said this or that as your basis of belief.
So, is the Sabbatical year from Sept 7, 2021 to Sept 26, 2022? The simple answer is No, it is not. Now how do you prove it?
The easiest way is to go to 2 Kings 19:29 and read it understanding that the first year is a Sabbatical year and the 2nd year is also another Sabbatical year, and the 3rd year is a regular year.
2Ki 19:29 And this shall be a sign to you: you shall eat this year such things as grow of themselves, and in the second year that which springs up of the same. And in the third year, sow and reap and plant vineyards and eat the fruits of them.
Then all you have to do is look up any reputable historical encyclopedia to learn what year Sennacherib attacked Jerusalem, and they all will tell you that the year was 701 B.C. Now all you have to do is count by seven from 701 BC with the knowledge that there is no year zero, and you will land on every single Sabbatical year in history going forward and backwards. When you do this every single sabbatical year, we have discovered that is recorded in history, 89 of them, will line up with and match 701 BC.
With such a strong historical fact sheet to back you up, you will then know absolutely for sure that the next Sabbatical year is 2023-2024 and not last year, as many are saying.
When you realize that the Jubilee Year was 700-699 BC, then you have something to figure out. Are the Jubilee years to be counted from 700 BC by 49s or by 50 years counting? Again the answer is very simple to figure out, but it again requires you to actually do the work. You have just proven when every Sabbatical year is when you counted by seven and you lined up all 89 proofs that we now have.
If you count by 49 and 50, as you need to count by both, you will see that when you do this, almost all the Sabbatical years no longer match up with the 50-year counting method. But if you count by 49, then all the Sabbatical Years that you just proved to be right, once again, will match. When you do this, then you will know that you count by 49 from one Jubilee year to the next.
I was about to do a whole teaching here and then discovered I had already taught on this two years ago.
Let me now reshare that article as it does cover all the points I was about to make. And with our Torah portion this week being Levicitus 25, this is very appropriate.
Is The Shmitah Year 5782? Really?
Some are saying at Yom Teruah this year (September 2021) is the start of the Shmita Year. They say this because they can divide the Jewish year 5782 by 7 and end up with no remainder. They are also taking for granted the year begins with Yom Teruah. The year begins with Aviv. Exodus 12:2
Exo 12:2 This month shall be to you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year to you.
So is that really how you determine the Sabbatical Year? Is that all you have to do? Do you really want to know how to prove when the Shmitah years are and thereby know when the 7th Millennium begins? Then watch our free video.
2 Kings 19:29 tells you quite plainly when two Sabbatical years are. It is describing the 49th year when you cannot plant and another sabbatical year, which is the Jubilee year when you cannot plant.
2Ki 19:29 And this shall be a sign to you: you shall eat this year such things as grow of themselves, and in the second year that which springs up of the same. And in the third year, sow and reap and plant vineyards and eat the fruits of them.
It is the only place in the entire bible where Yehovah plainly states a Jubilee year.
This date that 2 kings 19:29 is speaking about is the most undisputed date in history.
2 Kings goes on to say what happened at this time.
2Ki 19:35 And it happened that night, the Angel of Jehovah went out and struck a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians. And they arose early in the morning, and behold, they were all dead bodies.
2Ki 19:36 And Sennacherib king of Assyria departed. And he went and returned and lived at Nineveh.
There are two dates in history which we have, that record an interaction with the Nation of Israel and another nation with a known chronology. If it were not for those two interactions we would not know when the Kings of Israel ever existed. One of those dates is the battle of Qarqar 853 BC and the other when Sennacherib comes against Hezekiah.
The Assyrian Chronology can be traced from around 900 BC down to our time now as it is combined with the Babylonian, and then Greecian and Roman histories.
Sennacherib’s Annals are the annals of the Assyrian king Sennacherib. They are found inscribed on a number of artifacts, and the final versions were found in three clay prisms inscribed with the same text: the Taylor Prism is in the British Museum, the Oriental Institute Prism in the Oriental Institute of Chicago, and the Jerusalem Prism is in the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
The Taylor Prism is one of the earliest cuneiform artifacts analysed in modern Assyriology, having been found a few years before the modern deciphering of cuneiform.
The annals themselves are notable for describing Sennacherib’s siege of Jerusalem during the reign of king Hezekiah. This event is recorded in several books contained in the Bible including Isaiah chapters 36 and 37; 2 Kings 18:17; 2 Chronicles 32:9.
The three known complete examples of this inscription are nearly identical, with only minor variants, although the dates on the prisms show that they were written sixteen months apart (the Taylor and Jerusalem Prisms in 691 BC and the Oriental Institute prism in 689 BC). There are also at least eight other fragmentary prisms preserving parts of this text, all in the British Museum, and most of them containing just a few lines.
The Chicago text was translated by Daniel David Luckenbill and the Akkadian text, along with a translation into English, is available in his book The Annals of Sennacherib (University of Chicago Press, 1924).
It is one of three accounts discovered so far which have been left by Sennacherib of his campaign against the Kingdom of Israel and Kingdom of Judah, giving a different perspective on these events from that of the Book of Kings in the Bible.
Some passages in the Hebrew Bible (2 Kings 18–19) agree with at least a few of the claims made on the prism. The Bible recounts a successful Assyrian attack on Samaria, as a result of which the population was deported, and later recounts that an attack on Lachish was ended by Hezekiah suing for peace, with Sennacherib demanding 300 talents of silver and 30 talents of gold, and Hezekiah giving him all the silver from his palace and from the Temple in Jerusalem, and the gold from doors and doorposts of the temple. Compared to this, the Taylor Prism proclaims that 46 walled cities and innumerable smaller settlements were conquered by the Assyrians, with 200,150 people, and livestock, being deported, and the conquered territory being dispersed among the three kings of the Philistines instead of being given back. Additionally, the Prism says that Sennacherib’s siege resulted in Hezekiah being shut up in Jerusalem “like a caged bird”, Hezekiah’s mercenaries and ‘Arabs’ deserting him, and Hezekiah eventually buying off Sennacherib, having to give him antimony, jewels, ivory-inlaid furniture, his own daughters, harem, and musicians. It states that Hezekiah became a tributary ruler.
On Sennacherib’s prism, he says this of Hezekiah: “As for the king of Judah, Hezekiah, who had not submitted to my authority, I besieged and captured forty-six of his fortified cities, along with many smaller towns, taken in battle with my battering rams. … I took as plunder 200,150 people, both small and great, male and female, along with a great number of animals including horses, mules, donkeys, camels, oxen, and sheep. As for Hezekiah, I shut him up like a caged bird in his royal city of Jerusalem. I then constructed a series of fortresses around him, and I did not allow anyone to come out of the city gates. His towns which I captured I gave to the kings of Ashod, Ekron, and Gaza.”
The tribute given by Hezekiah is then mentioned but in this account, nothing is said of Sennacherib capturing the city of Jerusalem.

Merodach-Baladan had fled to Elam but did not remain idle there. He encouraged others to revolt against Assyrian rule. Among these was King Hezekiah of Judah who was told that, if he stood against Assyria, aid would come from Egypt. Shortly after Sennacherib took Babylon, the cities of Tyre and Sidon on the Mediterranean Sea revolted at the same time as the Philistine cities of Ekron and Lachish in Canaan. In 701 BCE Sennacherib marched his armies into the region to put down the revolts. The Assyrian-appointed king of Ekron, meanwhile, had been taken to Jerusalem in chains and handed over to Hezekiah who imprisoned him. Sennacherib was busy with the siege of the city of Lachish, and so he sent his envoys to Jerusalem to demand the release of the imprisoned king and the city’s surrender. Bauer notes that “they were not just any envoys but Sennacherib’s own general, chief officer, and field commander; and they arrived at the head of a large army” (385). While these officers dealt with the Jerusalem problem, Sennacherib concentrated on reducing Lachish by siege. The historian Simon Anglim describes the Assyrian assault:
At Lachish, the city was first surrounded to prevent escape. Next, archers were brought forward; under the cover of giant shields, they cleared the battlements. The king then used the tried-and-tested Assyrian method of building an earthen ramp close to the enemy wall, covering it with flat stone and wheeling forward a machine that combined a siege-tower with a battering ram. The Assyrians then staged a two-pronged assault. The tower was wheeled up the ramp and the ram was brought to bear against the mid-section of the enemy wall. Archers in the tower cleared the battlements while bowmen on the ground pushed up close to the wall to cover an infantry assault with scaling ladders. The fighting appears to have been intense, and the assault probably took several days, yet eventually the Assyrians entered the city (190).
Lachish was taken and the population slaughtered. Those who were spared were deported to regions in Assyria. While the siege was underway, the envoys outside the gates of Jerusalem were in negotiations with Hezekiah’s representatives. Referring to Egypt as “a splintered reed” which could be of no help to the city, the Assyrian general addressed Hezekiah’s men loudly in Hebrew, rather than Aramaic, so that the people lining the city’s walls could understand him. When Hezekiah’s representatives asked him to speak in Aramaic so that the people would not panic, the general refused, saying, “The message is for them too. Like you, they will have to eat their own dung and drink their own urine” (Bauer, 386). Hezekiah released the King of Ekron and sent eleven tons of silver and a ton of gold to Sennacherib at Lachish. The Assyrian army withdrew from Jerusalem to fight the Egyptians at Eltekeh. They defeated the Egyptian forces and then marched back to the region of the Levant and put down the rebellions at Ekron, Tyre, and Sidon.
The Siege of Jerusalem
With order now restored and rebellious populations decimated and deported, Sennacherib turned his attention again to Jerusalem. Although Hezekiah had paid him a handsome tribute, Sennacherib was not one to forgive and forget. He marched on the city and, according to his inscriptions, took it by siege:
As to Hezekiah, the Jew, he did not submit to my yoke, I laid siege to his strong cities, walled forts, and countless small villages, and conquered them by means of well-stamped earth-ramps and battering-rams brought near the walls with an attack by foot soldiers, using mines, breeches as well as trenches. I drove out 200,150 people, young and old, male and female, horses, mules, donkeys, camels, big and small cattle beyond counting, and considered them slaves. Himself I made a prisoner in Jerusalem, his royal residence, like a bird in a cage. I surrounded him with earthwork in order to molest those who were his city’s gate. Thus I reduced his country, but I still increased the tribute and the presents to me as overlord which I imposed upon him beyond the former tribute, to be delivered annually. Hezekiah himself, did send me, later, to Nineveh, my lordly city, together with 30 talents of gold, 800 talents of silver, precious stones, antimony, large cuts of red stone, couches inlaid with ivory, nimedu-chairs inlaid with ivory, elephant-hides, ebony-wood, boxwood and all kinds of valuable treasures, his own daughters and concubines.
According to the biblical record of the event, however, the siege was lifted through divine intervention. The Book of II Kings 18-19, the Book of II Chronicles 32, and the Book of Isaiah 37 all claim that Sennacherib laid siege to Jerusalem, but the prophet Isaiah told Hezekiah he had nothing to fear because God would defend the city.
Therefore this is what the Lord says concerning the king of Assyria:
“He will not enter this city
or shoot an arrow here.
He will not come before it with shield
or build a siege ramp against it.
By the way that he came he will return;
he will not enter this city,
declares the Lord.
I will defend this city and save it,
for my sake and for the sake of David my servant.”
That night the angel of the Lord went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the Assyrian camp. When the people got up the next morning—there were all the dead bodies! So Sennacherib king of Assyria broke camp and withdrew. He returned to Nineveh and stayed there (II Kings 19: 31-36).
It is this event which inspired Lord Byron’s 1815 CE poem, “The Destruction of Sennacherib”, which made the king’s name a household word because schoolchildren would be required to memorize and recite it regularly. By dint of repetition, even those not acquainted with the story in II Kings came to understand that the Assyrian king was defeated by the god of the Hebrews. Long before Byron wrote his poem, however, Assyrian chroniclers would reference Sennacherib’s failure to take Jerusalem. While the Bible does record the 46 cities of Judah which fell to the Assyrians (as recorded by Sennacherib), it maintains that Jerusalem was not one of them. Further, although Sennacherib’s palace at Nineveh was decorated with reliefs depicting his campaigns and victories including many detailing the siege of Lachish, Jerusalem never appears among them.
Scholars have cited Herodotus’ account of the Assyrian’s misfortune in battle against Egypt at the city of Pelusium in regards to their siege of Jerusalem. Herodotus writes that the Egyptian leader Sethos prayed to his god for help in defeating the massive Assyrian force, and the god sent into the Assyrian camp “a swarm of field mice [who] gnawed through their quivers and their bows, and the handles of their shields as well, so that the next day, weaponless, all they could do was flee, and their losses were heavy” (II.141). It is thought that both stories refer to a plague which struck the Assyrian camp and devastated the army on two separate occasions. Whatever happened outside of Jerusalem, whether God’s intervention, a plague, or God’s intervention in the form of the plague, the city remained intact and Sennacherib returned to Nineveh.
History records the year as 701 BC when this historic event takes place. All you have to do is count by 7 to land on every Shmita year from that date alone.
We also have a total now of 89 Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles that all agree and validate this fact. 89!!! Not just a few, not someone’s opinion. Not my opinion. 89 Sabbatical and Jubilee years from history, the Bible, and artifacts that all agree as to when the Sabbatical years are.
Let me show you how those years or that 7-year count takes place when you reach year zero. There is no year zero. When you count from 701 BC by 7’s you will end up at 1 BC represented by the -1 on the chart below. Because there is no year zero you go from -1 BC to 7 CE in your count.
This then brings you down to our time now with the next Sabbatical year from Aviv 2023 to Aviv 2024.
One of the great interviews I did was with Nehemia Gordon and he pulled out one of the Sabbatical years he knew about as a potential effort to trip me up. Please do listen to the interview and hear it for yourself.
Rambam even confirms our findings as to when the Sabbatical Years should be kept. In our interview above Nehemia quotes Rambam as saying the Sabbatical year was by tradition 1107 since the destruction of the temple, but that the actual year was the year before or 1106 since the destruction. So all we have to do is add 70 years to this to get the proper CE date of 1176 CE which does line up with the Sabbatical and Jubilee years of which we continue to stand behind.
Let me now share with you exactly what Nehemia is going to read in the video above from the 11-minute mark to the 13-minute mark. Shemita Chapter 10, sections 5 and 6.
5Nevertheless, all of the Geonim have said that they have received a tradition, transferred from teacher to student that in the seventy years between the destruction of the First Temple and the building of the Second Temple, they counted only Sabbatical years, not the Jubilee year. Similarly, after the destruction of the Second Temple, they did not count the fiftieth year. Instead, they counted only sets of seven from the beginning of the year of the destruction. [This interpretation] is also apparent from the Talmud in Avodah Zarah.19 This reckoning is a received tradition.

6[The reckoning of] the Sabbatical year is well-known and renowned among the Geonim and the people of Eretz Yisrael. None of them make any reckoning except according to the years of the destruction.20According to this reckoning, this year which is the 1107th year after the destruction is the year following the Sabbatical year.21
We rely on this tradition and we rule according to it22 with regard to the tithes,23the Sabbatical year, and the nullification of debts, for the received tradition and deed24 are great pillars in establishing [Halachic] rulings and it is appropriate to rely on them.

And you can see from our chart below the year 1176 to which Rambam was saying was a Sabbatical year and it is indeed on our chart a Sabbatical year.
The Great thing about this interview was that I had not heard this information before Nehemia brought it up. And yet Nehemia just confirmed or Rambam confirmed our Sabbatical cycles are accurate and completely match up with all historical references.
To dismiss when the Sabbatical years are, you must dismiss the accuracy of the Assyrian records which Nehemia does. You also must dismiss all historical records of when the Temple was destroyed in 70 CE., which the Rabbis do in favour of when Rabbi Yose vaguely says the Temple was destroyed in either 68 or 69 CE.
So now let us use someone who was at the Temple in the year it was destroyed and see what he has to say. Josephus is about to tell you that in the years 68 and 69 they were growing crops. Something they would not do if it was a Sabbatical year.

The Bar Kochba Contracts
We have now shared with you the 2 kings 19:29 scripture with which you can now discover all Sabbatical years going forward and backwards. We then had a surprise discovery which Nehemia sprung on me in our interview in 2018 in Jerusalem, which confirmed our information using Rambam himself to support our efforts.
But Nehemia and most Jewish historians waffle over when the Temple is destroyed. We then went to Josephus and let him show us that in the years 68 and 69 they had crops in the field which Simon ben Gioras ravaged and destroyed. The Idumeans were in every way Jewish and could not be told apart. They were keeping the Sabbatical year laws and had planted in the year 68, and 69, leading up to the Sabbatical year of 70 CE.
To further confirm that 70 CE was a Sabbatical year we are now going to go to the Bar Kochbah Revolt in 133 CE to prove when it took place. Once you do this then you can count back from this time to the 70th year to determine whether or not it was in fact a Shmita Year.
The amazing thing about what you are about to read is that they counted the Jubilee year as a Shmita year or one in which you could not plant. They were only going to pay for the 5 growing seasons. Year 2 through 6 of this 82nd Jubilee Cycle. When you get to the tombstones of Zoar, they started to count year two as year 1 of the first sabbatical cycle. Or year one of the five years you can plant.
The other amazing thing about these contracts is that they give us a third concrete year as to when the Jubilee years were. We have Lev 25:2 which requires a bit of chronological work to determine that year but again that year of 2500 does not easily figure into our modern chronology of this Common Era.
We then had 2 Kings 19:29 which gave us a 49th-year Shmita of 701 BC., and the Jubilee year of 700 BC. These two years we can use with our modern chronology of Common Era years.
But to confirm if the 50th year Jubilee was the same as the first year, we did not have another proof example until we got to the Bar Kochba revolt years.
These 12 different contracts also confirm that the year begins at Aviv and not Tishri.
Simon ben Kosevah, or Cosibah, known to posterity as Bar Kokhba was thought by some of the rabbinic scholars to be the long-expected Messiah. During the revolt, the Jewish sage Rabbi Akiva regarded Simon as the Jewish messiah, and gave him the name “Bar Kokhba” meaning “Son of the Star” in Aramaic, from the Star Prophecy verse from Numbers 24:17: “There shall come a star out of Jacob”.
Num 24:17 I shall see him, but not now. I shall behold him, but not near. There shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Scepter shall rise out of Israel, and shall strike the corners of Moab, and destroy all the sons of tumult.
Num 24:18 And Edom shall be a possession. Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies. And Israel shall do valiantly.
In the Jubilee year of 134 CE, the uprising gained support, because the Messiah is expected to come in a Jubilee year and the timing led to the enthusiastic uprising.
I know this is already long for many of you, but I have never created any of my Newsletters with goldfish mentalities in mind. We have always presented all the facts for you to have and then you could make a well-searched decision as to what is the truth.
So let me now share two more sections about this time period we have shared today. How did the year begin with the 7th month? Why does the Sabbatical or Jubilee start with the 7th month? It does not but too many think it does. We have many proofs to show Sabbatical years always began with Aviv. But we are not showing all of those years in this one teaching.
Last but certainly not least is this next section about Rabbi Yose who wrote the Seder Olam from about the mid to late second century. After this work was completed the Sages Geonim took his work at face value.
You have the following classes of Sages.
Amoraim (Aramaic: plural אמוראים ʔamoraˈʔim or ʔamorajim, singular Amora אמורא ʔamoˈʁa or Amoray; “those who say” or “those who speak over the people”, or “spokesmen”) refers to Jewish scholars of the period from about 200 to 500 CE, who “said” or “told over” the teachings of the Oral Torah. They were primarily located in Babylonia and the Land of Israel. Their legal discussions and debates were eventually codified in the Gemara. The Amoraim followed the Tannaim in the sequence of ancient Jewish scholars. The Tannaim were direct transmitters of uncodified oral tradition; the Amoraim expounded upon and clarified the oral law after its initial codification.
A Savora (Hebrew: [savoˈʁa]; Aramaic: סבורא, “a reasoner”, plural Savora’im, Sabora’im [savoʁaˈ(ʔ)im], סבוראים) is a term used in Jewish law and history to signify one among the leading rabbis living from the end of period of the Amoraim (around 500 CE) to the beginning of the Geonim (around 600 CE). As a group they are also referred to as the Rabbeinu Sevorai or Rabanan Saborai, and may have played a large role in giving the Talmud its current structure.
Geonim (Hebrew: גאונים; Hebrew: [ɡe(ʔ)oˈnim]; also transliterated Gaonim, singular Gaon) were the presidents of the two great Babylonian Talmudic Academies of Sura and Pumbedita, in the Abbasid Caliphate, and were the generally accepted spiritual leaders of the Jewish community worldwide in the early medieval era, in contrast to the Resh Galuta (exilarch) who wielded secular authority over the Jews in Islamic lands.
Geonim is the plural of גאון (Gaon’) [ɡaˈ(ʔ)on], which means “pride” or “splendor” in Biblical Hebrew and since the 19th century “genius” as in modern Hebrew. As a title of a Babylonian college president it meant something like “His Excellency”.
The Geonim played a prominent and decisive role in the transmission and teaching of Torah and Jewish law. They taught Talmud and decided on issues on which no ruling had been rendered during the period of the Talmud. The Geonim were also spiritual leaders of the Jewish community of their time.
With that introduction let me now share with you about Rabbi Yose who has passed down to us some of this confussion.
