New Moon of the 9th Month

Dear Friends,

The new moon was sighted from Israel this evening, Tuesday, 29 October 2019!

* From Jerusalem by Devorah Gordon 5:02pm, followed by Gil Ashendorf at 5:06pm.
* From Tiberias at 4:57pm by Dennis Chkolnik, followed by Maureen Chkolnik at about 5:00pm.
* From Beer Sheva at 5:14pm by Yochanan Zaqantov
* From Eilat at 5:15 by Karen Reuveni and Margaret Jeana.

This means this evening marks the beginning of the new month. Be sure to keep track of what number month this is, based on when you started the new year!
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi- Gone

On Sunday, October 27, 2019, President Trump announced that they had killed ISIS Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. This is not the first time he was reported as being killed, though. This time they claim they have an absolute positive ID.

We reported on this situation in the past back in 2014. I called it the Pope and ISIS in Prophecy. Here we are just months away from the start of the 2300 Days that we have been writing about. The head of the Baker, Al Bakr, the leader of the Muslim faith, has been killed.

I not only wrote about this in our book The 2300 Days of Hell, but we also discussed this at length in The Prophecies of Abraham (2010), which we wrote in our News Letters back in 2009. How did we know? We know because of what the Jubilee cycles reveal to us when we look at them as blocks of time and compare them one to another.

Can you tell me of any other ministry that is saying these things? Is anyone saying them nine years in advance of them happening? Only Yehovah can reveal them, and it is He who has shown us. It is time to get on board and help us to promote this work.

Islamic State Leader Baghdadi Died ‘In Panic And Dread’, Says Trump

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Fugitive Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi died “whimpering and crying” in a raid by U.S. special forces in northwest Syria, President Donald Trump announced on Sunday, in what he called a major victory over the jihadist group.

Baghdadi killed himself during the raid by detonating a suicide vest after fleeing into a dead-end tunnel, Trump said in a televised address from the White House.

He was positively identified by DNA tests 15 minutes after he died, the president said.

“He was a sick and depraved man and now he’s gone,” said Trump, adding that capturing or killing Baghdadi had been the top national security priority for his administration.

The death of Baghdadi is a severe blow to Islamic State, which has been in disarray and has no declared successor as leader yet. But the group has in the past proved resilient, continuing to mount or inspire attacks in the region and beyond despite losing most of its territory in recent years.

Trump said “many” of Baghdadi’s people were killed in the raid and added that in blowing himself up, Baghdadi also killed three of his children.

U.S. forces suffered no personnel losses, he said. He also thanked Russia, Turkey, Syria and Iraq for their support.

Turkey said it was proud to have helped “bring a notorious terrorist to justice” and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated Trump on an “impressive achievement”.

But Russia’s response was muted, with the defense ministry in Moscow saying merely that it had no reliable information on the U.S. raid.

Baghdadi had long been sought by the United States as head of a jihadist group that at one point controlled large areas of Syria and Iraq, where it declared a caliphate. Islamic State has carried out atrocities against religious minorities and attacks on five continents in the name of an ultra-fanatic version of Islam that horrified mainstream Muslims.

“The thug who tried so hard to intimidate others spent his last moments in utter fear, panic and dread, terrified of the American forces coming down on him,” Trump said.

“He reached the end of the tunnel as our dogs chased him down. He ignited his vest, killing himself and his three children. His body was mutilated by the blasts. The tunnel had caved on him,” Trump added.

“He died … whimpering and crying and screaming.”

SOUND OF PLANES

In the hours before Trump’s announcement, sources in the region had described the raid on a compound in the village of Barisha, in Idlib province bordering Turkey, in the early hours of Sunday.

“We woke up to the sound of planes, we went out and saw (forces) in front of us carrying weapons. ‘Get on the ground, get on the ground!’ (they said) so we went down,” one local resident told Reuters TV.

“They handcuffed us and put us to the side. (They asked)’How do you know this man?’ We said we don’t know him, we would see people coming and going but we never interacted with them. So they said, ‘you are safe, stay to the side’.”

Iraqi state television broadcast night-time footage of an explosion and daytime images of a crater in the ground and what it said was the aftermath of the raid, including torn and blood-stained clothes.

Iraq’s military said later in a statement that its intelligence services had located Baghdadi’s whereabouts and had passed the information to the United States.

Trump said eight helicopters carried the U.S. special forces troops to the compound where Baghdadi was hiding, where they were met with gunfire before blasting their way in through the walls to avoid a booby-trapped main door.

The U.S. forces spent around two hours in the compound, he said, adding that they had taken away “sensitive information” relating to Islamic State.

Russia “treated us great” by opening up airspace it controlled for the raid and Kurdish allies gave some helpful information, according to Trump. The Russian defense ministry, however, said it was not aware of any assistance to U.S. forces.

The president said he watched the operation unfold in the Situation Room of the White House, with Vice President Mike Pence, Defense Secretary Mark Esper and the joint military chiefs. He added that Russia had not been aware of the nature of the U.S. mission.

WITHDRAWAL CRITICIZED

Trump had faced withering criticism from fellow Republicans and Democrats for announcing a withdrawal of U.S. troops from northeastern Syria earlier this month, which permitted Turkey to attack America’s Kurdish allies as it sought to set up a “safe zone”.

Trump said the raid would not change his decision to withdraw troops from Syria.

Many critics of the pullout have expressed concern both at the abandoning of the Kurdish forces who had been instrumental in defeating Islamic State in Syria, and that the move might allow the group to regain strength and pose a threat to U.S. interests.

The successful targeting of Baghdadi in the raid could help blunt those concerns, as well as boosting Trump domestically at a time when he is facing an impeachment inquiry in the U.S. House of Representatives.

RELIEF FOR A GRIEVING FATHER

At the height of its power, Islamic State ruled over millions of people in territory running from northern Syria through towns and villages along the Tigris and Euphrates valleys to the outskirts of the Iraqi capital Baghdad.

Thousands of civilians were killed by the group as it mounted what the United Nations called a genocidal campaign against Iraq’s Yazidi minority. It also caused worldwide revulsion by beheading foreign nationals from countries including the United States, Britain and Japan.

In one notorious incident, referred to by Trump in his TV address, a captured Jordanian air force pilot was burned alive in a cage.

On Sunday the pilot’s father, Safi Al-Kasaesbeh, told Reuters TV he was relieved by news of Baghdadi’s death.

“I am proud and happy on this day, after hearing of the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, this corrupt man, this insect, this virus that spread throughout the body of not only the Arab nation but also the Muslim nation, who distorted the image of Muslims and Islam,” he said.

The group has claimed responsibility for or inspired attacks in dozens of cities including Paris, Nice, Orlando, Manchester, London and Berlin, and in nearby Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

But in 2017 Islamic State lost control of Mosul in Iraq and Raqqa in Syria, and quickly thereafter almost all of its territory, turning Baghdadi into a fugitive.

During a three-year push by a U.S.-led coalition, air strikes killed most of his top lieutenants and there were conflicting reports over whether Baghdadi was alive until IS published a video message by him in April.

Yehovah Sends You Confusion

Have you noticed how the leading Israelite nations seem to be in a state of confusion?

The BREXIT deal did not go through just as we warned you it would not on October 31, 2019. Now once again, they are having another election in Britain.

In Israel, Prime Minister Netanyahu has not been able to form a government for the second time this year. The first attempt was April 9, 2019, and the latter now was September 17, 2019. Who is going to lead Israel next is still up in the air.

This past Thursday, October 31, 2019, The Democrats voted to continue the impeachment inquiry. This vote in the House of Congress will never pass in the Senate, which it must do to remove the sitting president. What this does do is to continue the harassment of President Trump and prepare the lies that will lead up to the next election in 2020.

In Canada, we now have a Minority Liberal Government, which can be forced into another election if the other parties vote against it in a no-confidence vote.

Governments must maintain the confidence of the House in order to continue to govern. According to the House of Commons procedure, “the Prime Minister and the Cabinet are able to exercise authority only with the consent and approval (‘confidence’) of a majority of the Members of the House of Commons.” In a minority Parliament, the party that forms the government does not hold the majority of votes required to ensure its approval completely. It must, therefore, earn its approval from members of other parties and independents.

As I searched for the verse that describes this condition we are now in. I kept reading about other calamities that are described here and thought I would put the whole thing. Look at how many now apply to our nations. I was at first going just to post verse 20.

But if we were to obey, then look at what Yehovah was going to do for us.

Deu 28:1  And it will be, if you shall listen carefully to the voice of Jehovah your God, to observe and to do all His commandments which I command you today, Jehovah your God will set you on high above all nations of the earth.

Deu 28:2  And all these blessings shall come on you and overtake you, if you will listen to the voice of Jehovah your God.

Curses for Disobedience
Deu 28:15  And it shall be, if you will not listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, to observe and to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, all these curses shall come on you and overtake you.

Deu 28:16  You shall be cursed in the city, and cursed in the field.

Deu 28:17  Your basket and your store shall be cursed.

Deu 28:18  The fruit of your body shall be cursed, and the fruit of your land, the increase of your cows, and the flocks of your sheep.

Deu 28:19  You shall be cursed when you come in, and cursed when you go out.

Deu 28:20  Jehovah shall send on you cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed, and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings by which you have forsaken Me.

Deu 28:21  Jehovah shall make the plague cling to you until He has consumed you from off the land where you go to possess it.

Deu 28:22  Jehovah shall strike you with lung disease and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew. And they shall pursue you until you perish.

Deu 28:23  And your heavens over your head shall be bronze, and the earth that is under you iron.

Deu 28:24  Jehovah shall make the rain of your land powder and dust. It shall come down from the heavens on you until you are destroyed.

Deu 28:25  Jehovah shall cause you to be stricken before your enemies. You shall go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them. And you shall be a trembling to all the kingdoms of the earth.

Deu 28:26  And your body shall be food to all birds of the air, and to the beasts of the earth. And no man shall frighten them away.

Deu 28:27  Jehovah will strike you with the boils of Egypt, and with the hemorrhoids, and with the scab, and with the itch, of which you cannot be healed.

Deu 28:28  Jehovah shall strike you with madness and blindness, and astonishment of heart.

Deu 28:29  And you shall grope at noonday, as the blind gropes in darkness, and you shall not prosper in your ways. And you shall always be pressed down and spoiled forever, and no man shall save you.

Deu 28:30  You shall become engaged to a wife, and another man shall lie with her. You shall build a house, and you shall not live in it. You shall plant a vineyard, and you shall not gather the grapes of it.

Deu 28:31  Your ox shall be slain before your eyes, and you shall not eat of it. Your ass shall be violently taken away from before your face, and shall not be restored to you, your sheep given to your enemies, and you shall have none to rescue them.

Deu 28:32  Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people, and your eyes shall look and fail for them all the day long. And there shall be no power in your hand.

Deu 28:33  The fruit of your land, and all your labors, shall be eaten up by a nation which you do not know. And you shall always be oppressed and crushed,

Deu 28:34  and you shall be mad because of that which you shall see with the sight of your eyes.

Deu 28:35  Jehovah shall strike you in the knees and in the legs with an evil ulcer that cannot be healed, from the sole of your foot to the top of your head.

Deu 28:36  Jehovah shall bring you, and your king which you shall set over you, to a nation which neither you nor your fathers have known. And there you shall serve other gods, wood and stone.

Deu 28:37  And you shall become an astonishment, a proverb, and a by-word among all nations where Jehovah shall lead you.

Deu 28:38  You shall carry much seed out into the field, and shall gather little in, for the locust shall eat it.

Deu 28:39  You shall plant vineyards and dress them, but shall neither drink the wine nor gather, for the worm shall eat them.

Deu 28:40  You shall have olive trees throughout all your coasts, but you shall not anoint with the oil, for your olive shall drop off its fruit.

Deu 28:41  You shall father sons and daughters, but you shall not enjoy them, for they shall go into captivity.

Deu 28:42  All your trees and the fruit of your land the locust shall possess.

Deu 28:43  The stranger within you shall get up above you very high, and you shall come down very low.

Deu 28:44  He shall loan to you, and you shall not loan to him. He shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.

Deu 28:45  And all these curses shall come on you, and shall pursue you and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you did not listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.

Deu 28:46  And they shall be on you for a sign and for a wonder, and on your seed forever.

Deu 28:47  Because you did not serve Jehovah your God with joyfulness and with gladness of heart for the abundance of all things;

Deu 28:48  therefore you shall serve your enemies which Jehovah shall send against you, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in the lack of all things. And he shall put a yoke of iron on your neck until he has destroyed you.

Deu 28:49  Jehovah shall bring a nation against you from far, from the end of the earth, as the eagle flies; a nation whose tongue you shall not understand,

Deu 28:50  a nation fierce of face who shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young.

Deu 28:51  And he shall eat the fruit of your cattle and the fruit of your land, until you are destroyed. He shall not leave you grain, wine, or oil, the increase of your livestock, or flocks of your sheep, until he has destroyed you.

Deu 28:52  And he shall besiege you in all your gates until your high and fortified walls in which you trusted come down, throughout all the land. And he shall besiege you in all your gates throughout all your land which Jehovah your God has given you.

Deu 28:53  And you shall eat the fruit of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters, which Jehovah your God has given you, in the siege and in the anguish with which your enemies shall distress you.

Deu 28:54  The man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the rest of his sons which he has left;

Deu 28:55  so that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his sons whom he shall eat, because he has nothing left to him in the siege and in the anguish with which your enemies shall distress you in all your gates.

Deu 28:56  The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not have ventured to set the sole of her foot on the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,

Deu 28:57  and toward her young one who comes out from between her feet, and toward her sons whom she shall bear. For she shall eat them secretly for lack of all things, in the siege and anguish with which your enemies shall distress you in your gates.

Deu 28:58  If you will not observe to do all the words of this Law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, JEHOVAH YOUR GOD,

Deu 28:59  then Jehovah will make your plagues remarkable, and the plagues of your seed great and persistent plagues; with evil and long-lasting sicknesses.

Deu 28:60  Also, He will bring on you all the diseases of Egypt of which you were afraid. And they shall cling to you.

Deu 28:61  Also, every sickness and every plague which is not written in the book of this Law, Jehovah will bring them on you until you are destroyed.

Deu 28:62  And you shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of the heavens for multitude, because you would not obey the voice of Jehovah your God.

Deu 28:63  And it shall be, as Jehovah rejoiced over you to do you good and to multiply you, so Jehovah will rejoice over you to destroy you and to bring you to nothing. And you shall be plucked from off the land where you go to possess it.

Deu 28:64  And Jehovah shall scatter you among all people, from the one end of the earth even to the other, and you shall serve other gods there, which neither you nor your fathers have known, wood and stone.

Deu 28:65  And among these nations you shall find no ease, neither shall the sole of your foot have rest. But Jehovah shall give you there a trembling heart and failing of eyes and sorrow of mind.

Deu 28:66  And your life shall hang in doubt before you, and you shall fear day and night, and shall have no assurance of your life.

Deu 28:67  In the morning you shall say, Oh that it were evening! And at evening you shall say, Oh that it were morning, for the fear of your heart with which you shall fear, and for the sight of your eyes which you shall see.

Deu 28:68  And Jehovah shall bring you into Egypt again with ships, by the way of which I said to you, You shall see it no more again. And there you shall be sold to your enemies for men-slaves and women-slaves, and no man shall buy you.

Germany & EU at War with UK

Germany Starts War With Boris Johnson

Britain’s relationship with the European Union, specifically Germany, entered an alarming new phase this week. “This feels very big,” writes Robert Peston at the Spectator; the “stakes are very high indeed.”

On Tuesday, with the October 31 Brexit deadline now less than three weeks away, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson spoke with German Chancellor Angela Merkel about the revised Brexit deal that he recently sent off to the EU. Ms. Merkel was not impressed. Mr. Johnson was told in no uncertain terms that a deal could not be done without Northern Ireland remaining in the EU customs union “forever.”

Put simply, Merkel demanded that Britain give Northern Ireland to the EU.

With one conversation, Germany just killed any chance of Britain and the EU securing a deal before October 31.

Here in the UK, Merkel’s rigid and unsympathetic response to Boris Johnson’s deal elicited a passionate response. This was the “day the Brexit deal died,” blared the Daily Mail.

For many, the behavior of Merkel and her EU colleagues this week exemplified the dictatorial nature of the German-led EU. It “tells you everything you need to know about the EU,” tweeted journalist Andrew Pierce. “Germany calls all the shots ….”

In article in the Telegraph, former mp Douglas Carswell explained that undermining Britain’s democracy and annexing UK territory has been EU strategy all along. But it gets worse. “Even more provocatively, EU officials have colluded with Remain campaigners [in the UK] to try to overturn a democratic decision made by the British people.”

Mr. Carswell was referring to the news, revealed this week, that EU officials have held secret meetings with Remainer British politicians, including John Bercow, the Speaker of the House of Commons, to discuss how to stop Brexit. “These are the actions you might expect from hostile states, not allies,” writes Carswell.

This phone call between Merkel and Johnson, and the rhetoric of other top EU leaders this week, including EU President Donald Tusk, Michel Barnier and Leo Varadkar, mark a major development in Britain’s departure from the EU. We know now that the only deal Europe wants is one that will hurt Britain.

Politically, Germany and Brussels are now at war with London. “The [UK] government’s conclusion is that EU leaders have decided to make an example of the UK—to show that Johnson’s attempt to bin the painstakingly negotiated Withdrawal Agreement must inevitable lead to a worse deal for the UK,” writes Peston.

James Delingpole compared Britain’s attempt to leave the EU with a prisoner trying to escape. “If you allow one prisoner to escape without being shot, then all the others will expect to be able to escape without being shot. So, better to shoot the first escaping prisoner good and dead to make sure none of the other prisoners are tempted to make that foolish bid for freedom.” For Brussels to save the dream of European unity, it must make Brexit as painful as possible for the UK.

This Telegraph article from today noted that the EU will now use “every instrument of imperial torture in its toolbox” to destroy Boris Johnson.

Here in Britain, the despair and disgust is mounting. “We didn’t win two world wars to be pushed around by a kraut,” tweeted Leave.EU. The tweet included an image of Angela Merkel waving in a way that could easily be construed as a Nazi salute.

Leave.EU is not a small or irrelevant organization. It was one of the main organizations responsible for Brexit. It has more than a quarter of a million followers on Twitter.

This tweet was eventually deleted, but it is a measure of the level of tension and outright hostility that now exists over Brexit and Britain’s relations with Germany and Europe. Increasingly, the topic of Brexit is being viewed and discussed, in both Britain and Europe, in the context of World Wars i and ii.

The press in both Europe and Britain now run derogatory headlines about the other.

The language, gestures and tone some people—including some key British and European figures—use in their discussions about Brexit have grown extremely personal and deeply offensive. It is almost impossible to repair the damage caused by the public use of terms like “kraut,” or the confession of EU officials that they are actively trying to make Brexit as painful as possible for the UK.

The emotions behind language like this lead only to one place: conflict.

And this is exactly what Bible prophecy forecast. Many scriptures describe conflict between Germany and Britain (and America) in the end time. The entire chapter of Hosea 5 is about Britain (“Ephraim,” the language of biblical prophecy) and the Jewish state of Israel (“Judah”). Verse 13 describes Britain and Israel turning to Germany (“Assyria”) for assistance.

Verse 14 shows Assyria’s response: “For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.” This is a prophecy about God using a German-led European empire to punish Britain!

In Isaiah 10:5-6 God says, “O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.”

The tension and conflict we are seeing between Britain and Europe are a sign that this prophecy is closer than ever to being fulfilled!

My Bucket List

This past year we have seen new videos coming out of Saudi Arabia and learning more about Mount Sinai and where the Israelites were given the Ten Commandments.

On October 24, 2017, Bloomberg News announced the following headline. Saudi Arabia Just Announced Plans to Build a Mega City That Will Cost $500 Billion

I remember thinking that those Holy Sites would become destroyed if this happened. I was disappointed at the possibility, but know Yehovah has kept these places preserved for the past 3398 years and would not let them disappear.

Here is a link to the new Multi-Billion Dollar City that is being planned, and you can look at it.

We have heard about Ron Wyatt discovering this place and then about the Caldwells and all the pictures they had. Then there was the series on Micahel Rood with Joel Richardson and his new videos of Mount Sinai. I even reported on them here sharing the latest pictures just released.

That was just one year ago now. We did that on November 10, 2018.
And now, one year later, November 2, 2019, look at what I am sharing with you.

October 2005, I first went to Israel as my once in a lifetime trip. Now in 2019, I have been to Israel 18 times, which is fantastic. And I’ve been conducting tours for almost all of those trips for both small and large groups. And it was at this time that we went to Sodom and Gomorrah, and I was able to check off all of these things from my bucket list that I had I wanted to do in my life.

Then in May 2007, I was able to go to Noahs Ark. I had a great desire to prove all the things in the Bible to be true or false. So I took this tour, again as a once in a lifetime tour, to go and see Noah’s Ark. We did a five-part series on this at that time.

It was also on this tour that I learned that we were actually in the western parts of Eden where Yehovah had made the Garden of Eden in the East.

It was also on those first tours to Israel that I learned where the correct Temple site was by walking on the ground and reading the bible. We have written about the miracles that took place in Hezekiah’s Tunnel and around the Old city during these times, which we wrote about in our book Remembering the Sabbatical Year of 2016.

In 2017 we were able to give a tour at Sukkot to the Gilgal sites and Joshua’s Altar. For some reason, this was a huge event for me to be at this altar and to be able to cross this off my list of things I wanted to see before I died. I was very emotional about this one. It was also on this tour that the cloud descended upon the Atar while we were there. It was so amazing to experience this. It reminded me of the time the cloud that surrounded us in Hezekiah’s Tunnel in 2007.

I have been able to do all of these things in my lifetime, on top of speaking about the Sabbatical years across the USA, Canada, Europe, Africa and the Philippines. I was quite content to live out my remaining years, having done many of the things on my bucket list, including some I never thought I would be able to do. Going to Israel, Noah’s Ark, and the Garden of Eden, Joshuas Altar, finding the Tomb of Yehshua (Joseph of Arimathea), and where the Ark of the Covenant is buried, and the Crucifixion site was. Swimming in the Dead Sea and visiting Sodom and Gomorrah collecting the Sulphur balls and pottery from all of these places and also hiking the Snake Trail at Masada with Nehemia Gordon before Sunrise.

It has been on my Bucket List to go to the Red Sea and visit the place where Israel crossed at Nuweiba. But with time running out and Al Qaeda now in the Sinai Peninsula, I had crossed that one off as not being possible in this lifetime. I had also resolved I would never be able to go to Saudi Arabia and visit the real Mount Sinai. The same for the Pyramids of Egypt, which Shem the son of Noah built. So I was content with the many accomplishments I had been blessed to have undertaken. But……in recent months, the following news items began to be spoken about.

On October 15, 2019, this article appeared.

Saudi Arabia opens tourism to ancient biblical sites: ‘The atmosphere is changing’

As Saudi Arabia increasingly opens up to tourists, a travel group in the country started offering this week a “first-ever Christian tour of rare sites,” promising participants a close-up look at a controversial location believed to be the real Mount Sinai — the mountain where, according to the Bible, God gave Moses the Ten Commandments.

Saudi Arabia, which has been closed for tourism the last several decades and has a dismal record on human rights, decided to give tourist visas on the heels of the second delegation of evangelical leaders from America, hosted by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman last year and earlier this year.

“The atmosphere in Saudi Arabia is changing,” said Rhonda Sand, owner of U.S.-based travel company Living Passages. “They are hard at work developing the country for Western tourism.”

Living Passages is taking a group of 25 people this week through “Jethro’s Caves in the land of Midian,” believed to be ancient Midian. The tour will be led by Joel Richardson, the author of “Mount Sinai in Arabia: The True Location Revealed.”

“This portends to be the most significant new archaeological site in modern history,” Richardson told Fox News. “We’re tremendously blessed that the Saudi government is allowing us to visit the kingdom to see some of its rich historical and geographic treasures.”

Richardson, who said this is one of the most faith stirring experiences of his life, explained tourists will be flocking to see the historical mountain and other sites covered in a short documentary, “Finding the Mountain of Moses: The Real Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia,” by Ryan Mauro, who will also be leading a tour in February.

Most notably, the group is visiting the Jebel al-Lawz mountain in the ancient land of Midian. Early Jewish, Christian and Bedouin traditions have long attested this site to be the real Mount Sinai. The controversial theory contests the traditional location in the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula. On the north-west side of the mountain is the Split Rock of Horeb — a massive stone several stories tall, split down the middle, with evidence of water erosion at its base.

The Split Rock of Horeb in Saudi Arabia, believed to be the rock that Moses struck from which water flowed out of for the Israelites. (Living Passages)

This week tourists will visit the town that has an ancient well, held to be where Moses met his wife Zipporah, daughter of Jethro, after fleeing Egypt. The group will explore the ruins of Dedan, Wadi Tayyib – along the Red Sea coast – and Tayma, where Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar may have occasionally stayed.

Beyond the historic sites, the kingdom is hoping to increase international tourism with new museums and first-class hotels — and even a smart city in the northwest called Neom, set to be fully functinal by 2025.

Is This Really Possible?

This next article is from a Muslim publication, and they were reporting about the tour this month conducted by Living Passages with Joel Richardson. The link is no longer there for this tour, which was charging $8995 per person.

Saudi Arabia offers first-ever Christian tour for tourism!

The atmosphere in Saudi Arabia is changing,” said Rhonda Sand, owner of U.S.-based travel company Living Passages.

Living Passages has another Tour coming up on February 12-19 in 2020 for $5995 US.

TOUR OVERVIEW:
Travel to Saudi Arabia in 2020! Visit the ancient land of Midian with Ryan Mauro and explore exclusive sites around Jebel al-Lawz and the Split Rock.

Join Ryan Mauro on the adventure of a lifetime as he imparts his recent findings and his incomparable analysis of the land of Midian. By joining his team, you have an exclusive opportunity to study the land and inspect its evidences with remarkable background and research also provided through the work of Joel Richardson. Explore Midian, known by locals to be the homeland of Jethro (the prophet named Shu’ayb) who was Moses’ father-in-law. Examine the Split Rock of Horeb at Jabal Maqla, where Moses struck the boulder and God miraculously provided water from within. Survey the Jabal al-Lawz mountain, with its charred and blackened summit ascertained to be the original Mount Sinai which Yahweh descended upon in fire. Discover for yourself why Jewish and Bedouin traditions have continued for centuries to call this peak: “The Mountain of Moses.”

In addition, we will explore Tayma – the land where Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar purportedly lived during the time he was struck with insanity by the living God in the Book of Daniel. We will also explore the remains of ancient Dedan and examine the proto-Hebraic inscriptions of the presumed first alphabetic written language given to humans by God through Moses at Mount Sinai.

Al-bad’

Al-bad’ is the traditional home of Jethro and the location of the Well of Moses where he met the daughters of Jethro. It is a fairly large oasis that sits in a region where water is easily obtained from shallow wells and is surrounded by orchards of mangos and other fruit trees. This area which is now in the heart of the NEOM project by Saudi Arabia is full of ancient history ranging from the Midianites down to Greek, Roman and Islamic time periods.

See the ancient ruins going back to Midianite times at this important oasis. Visit the Nabatean tombs named after Jethro. This important oasis was also a stop on the Hajj to Mecca. Nearby you will also visit the entrance to the dry riverbed canyon that goes to the western side of Jabal al Lawz/Jabal Maqla mountains. The locals call it Wadi Musa (Moses).

Red Sea Crossing

The Gulf of Aqaba (Red Sea). Enjoy the beautiful coastline of the Gulf of Aqaba. See the exit point of the Red Sea crossing across from Nuweiba, Egypt. Learn about the research being done there for the crossing site. Enjoy a possible boat ride out onto the waters of the blue sea. Look for chariot parts as you snorkel around. From the coast you will journey by 4×4 into the heartland of Midian on a path the Israelites could have taken as they looked for water.

“So the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. Thus Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done in Egypt; so the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord and His servant Moses.” (Exodus 14:30,31)

Tayyib al Ism Oasis

Surrounded by red-colored mountains and deep canyons this lush oasis was an ancient pit stop for weary travelers. Is this beautiful palm tree oasis with its 12 wells of water the location of Elim mentioned in the exodus journey?

Take a jeep ride deep into the coastal mountains of Midian to experience this natural wonder! You will also see some of the ancient Midianite ruins near this oasis and then travel from here to the next oasis camping spot on the exodus journey as mentioned in Numbers 33.

“Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the waters.” (Exodus 15:27)

Magna oasis

Magna is a lush oasis on the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba in NW Saudi Arabia with a strong tradition of Moses being there. In the past 12 springs of water bubbled up among the palm trees and tall grass.

Across from the oasis is an ancient Midianite fortress on a hill protecting this important water source. In Saudi archaeological literature this location is listed as an important Midianite site.

“They moved from Elim and camped by the Red Sea.” (Numbers 33:10)

EXPLORE THE LAND OF MIDIAN

One of the most breaktaking stops in this tour is the giant split rock sitting high on a hill on the western side of the Jabal al Lawz mountain range. Is this the Rock of Horeb that Moses struck and rivers of water gushed forth for the complaining Israelites and their flocks and herds? In a desolate region with no water this rock stands out as a possible reminder to the miracles of God in the exodus journey. Climb the hill. Make your way thru the split and see the wind and water erosion marks around the base of the giant boulder! A must see stop on your journey through the Land of Midian!

“‘Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.’ And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.” (Exodus 17:6)

The Base of Mount Sinai

“And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.” (Exodus 19:17,18)

One of the most solemn scenes described in the Bible is the giving of the law by God. From a mountaintop God spoke audibly with His people and the earth shook while fire and smoke ascended to the very heavens. Is Jabal Maqla in the mountain range of Jabal al Lawz in the Land of Midian the location of the real Mount Sinai? Are local traditions correct that this is Jabal Musa? Come see the location for yourself and explore the archaeological sites around the base of what more and more are believing to be the true Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia! Be among the few who have ventured out to this remote location now that tourist visas are available.

As you walk among the sand and boulders and gaze up upon the loftly blackened peaks ask yourself, “Did any people ever hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and live? Out of heaven He let you hear His voice, that He might instruct you; on earth He showed you His great fire, and you heard His words out of the midst of the fire.” (Deuteronomy 4:33,36)

Why select our tours?

Your guide, Andrew Jones, has been researching the exodus journey since middle school when he heard about Ron Wyatt discovering the real Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia. Finally in 2016 Andrew was able to join a group and see the sites in NW Arabia for the first time.

With the doors open Andrew ran through them 18x so far, spending over 120+ days on the ground driving and walking the wadis and mountains of Midian. As of September 2019, he has journeyed over 17,000+ miles across Midian alone not counting his trips to Egypt and the Sinai Peninsula.

With access to boats from locals you will journey out onto the Red Sea crossing to get a unique view of the crossing site. Only on this tour do you get detailed exodus route research and actually journey on a lot of the route the Israelites would have.

These tours are jammed full of information he’s learned on the ground and in his research. This is not just a photo tour to get a selfie at Mount Sinai. You will learn the different theories about the exodus route and the pros and cons of each camping spot of the exodus. You will hear about local traditions and the latest research into the exodus. You will not want to miss learning these details of Andrew’s and others’ research into the exodus route and location of Mount Sinai as you join him in following the footsteps of Moses!

By taking this tour, I will be able to check off those things on my bucket list that I never thought I would be able to do. So I am planning to do the March tour with Andrew Jones, which will include Saudi Arabia and Egypt for $3900 US. This does not include flights to Saudi Arabia nor back home from Egypt. It is much less than what the others were and are asking and twice as much as I could see on those other tours.

If your bucket list includes these things to see, then please join me on this tour of a lifetime. Write to me at Admin@sightedmoon.com so I can forward a list to Andrew ASAP.

I have asked my wife to join me on this tour, but she has declined once again.
