Born Again and Shavuot

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom Brethren,

Last week as many of you did your weekly Torah portion you were studying the curses of Lev 26. We had a few comments about this.

Shabbat Shalom Dear Joseph,

Yehovah’s many, many Blessings to you and yours. Yesterday, I received your book, “Remembering The Sabbatical Years” and have been reading it most of the day…Awesome, Awesome, Awesome and what a tremendous blessing and insight to things to come and that which has been. Many lives will be saved because of this book. I don’t think that its just a coincidence that I received your book on Friday and is in line with part of this weeks Torah portion Leviticus 25-27 “The Sabbath Year”. Truly Elohim’s Mighty Hands are upon you dear brother. ……..I’m praying for the music…:)

Sandra

This weeks Torah reading was “special”. I seemed like an expert. Got to mention Joseph Dumond’s name a lot. We had a very good midrash. I would not let them skip over the curses. It was a great forum to share The Prophecies of Abraham. I have several reading the newsletters now. (One commented .. he sure likes to write.. LOL) A good Sabbat.

Another sister wrote from England;

Hi Joseph, iv just finished reading your weekly an watching the link on Tredeau oh boy I read Eye for an Eye when it first came out. Boy Canada’s trouble brews with him and his team.

And a brother who was with me in Israel from the USA wrote;

Shalom Joe,

Just wanted to tell you I’m sending money for the video project. If you had a US address, we could send a monthly amount from our bank. But I only have your Canadian address so we will send you $200 for now.

Thanks for your work on the Shmitahs and the Jubilees. It has really helped in light of all the Daniel’s timeline stuff.

We hope to make it to Israel for Sukkot in 2016. I should have a bunch of worship songs by then. I have written about 30 songs or so already and we use quite a few for worship at our weekly Torah studies down here. I still talk about our Sukkot trip in 2010.
Seems like a long time ago.

Joe, thanks for all your hard work. I really enjoyed your letter on tithing a few weeks ago. Very good…..

Blessings to you,
Joe

We also received news from the Vineyard in Israel.

Shalom Joseph and other dear friends and partners of Shefa Israel,

The picture shown here is one of the few vines that survived the winter sand storms. This picture of life coming out of certain death is what gives us the hope and the courage to continue with what it is that the Father has called us to do, to plant a vineyard in the desert.??The weather we had in the winter of 2013 was something that no one could have forecast. We are used to the desert and her harsh winters and these are generally ideal conditions for growing vines. The repeated bombardment of the North Westerly sand storms, the worst in 10 years, took their toll on the vines and caused irreparable damage to a lot of the young grafts.

We did all we could in the physical to protect our young charges but the elements where just too much for us this time. We called in experts in the vine field and they told us one thing, “We need to replant now”.

The summer will give the vines 6 to eight months to establish themselves in the field. We are not giving up on what the Father called us to do in this very special part of the Land – the place where our forefathers sojourned for 20 years of the 40 years in the Wilderness, where Abraham Isaac and Jacob walked. The Land promised to us as our inheritance. It is our responsibility firstly to our Heavenly Father and also to those that have stood with us to carry this on and see it through to its fruition.

We cannot do it alone – we need your help – the cost to replant the destroyed vines will be around USD8000. This seems so much to ask, but if we all pull together, I am sure we can make it happen. Should the Father be placing it on your heart to help us in this replanting please use the donate button on the home page or contact us at boazandrina@shefaisrael.com or Joe Dumond and admin@sightedmoon.com ??As if the sandstorms were not enough, we are currently fighting off, if one can believe it, a greater danger – Locust infestation. The initial infestation started a month ago with two to three days of large swarms coming over the border, with the wind from Egypt. They were mature and not hungry but managed to lay millions of eggs before either being exterminated or being allowed to die naturally. The eggs have hatched and the Negev Highlands are alive with millions of young locusts. They are not yet ravenous and extremely destructive. We have to exterminate them before their next stage of maturity. Failure to achieve this would mean the loss of all the farm lands here in our area. The government is attending to the huge open areas with crop dusters but each individual farmer is responsible for his own land. Every available man is carrying a sprayer and going to war against these little jumping insects.??As of now, the Israel Department of Agriculture is giving us the chemicals with which to wage war against the locusts but we need your prayers for the hours of work that the spraying is going to take. It cannot be done by machine as the locusts flee before the tractors. It has to be done on foot to be most effective!
We thank you for considering us in your prayers and endeavors
Boaz and Rinah

I am going to have much more to say on this next week. You all will want to read next week’s News Letter, as time does not allow me to write the many other things that have happened here now as it is time to post this.

I do thank those of you who have invested in this project with us to have a physical vineyard in Israel that is going to keep both the Jewish and the Biblical Sabbatical Years. Many in the community are watching this to see what Yehovah will do. We have invested a great deal of funds into this project and we will continue to support it and maintain it until it is producing a crop in four years time.

I have asked for your support in raising the needed funding to produce a TV series of the Sabbatical and Jubilee message. Many of you have responded and contributed. We have much more to do. A Promo tape is now being planned. But at the same time as we ask for your help in this new project, we also ask that you do not neglect your support of the vineyard.

If it was an easy task then Yehovah could have had anyone do it. But these tests are to build our character. We have this one opportunity in 2016 to demonstrate that we will keep the Sabbatical Year. After that year comes the curse of war. War is coming on those who do not and will not obey Him. It will be very difficult to keep the Sabbatical year during the time when we are fleeing because of war or in captivity during the next Sabbatical year in 2023.

So we need to keep this Sabbatical Year and we need to demonstrate it publicly as we are in Israel. We also need to get this warning message out to the world. We are learning that there are many in other countries who are wanting to know these truths. Many are awakening. But there are many more that have not yet heard. Please consider helping us accomplish both of these projects that we have set out to do.

I want you to know there are other works going on in Russia, Indonesia, China, Japan and Africa. Doors are being opened to allow the message of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years to go through. This commandment is to be kept around the world the same as the Sabbath, the same as the Holy Days. But if they do not know about it then how can they keep it?

After the next Sabbatical year in 2016 comes the curse of the sword from 2017 to 2023. War is coming. Prophecy is showing us that Multiple Millions will die. MULTIPLE MILLIONS.

We have such a big job in front of us and so little help.

One of my teachings shows us the wedding feast in Mathew 22. After the war destroys Israel. Then those seats for that wedding Feast will be filled. And we are to go into the highways and byways and find people to come to the wedding. These are the gentile nations as all the Israelite nations will then be in captivity having lost this coming war.

Brethren, it is less than 7 years until 2020. Daniel 9:24-27 shows us the fat lady is going to sing in 2020. It is over then.

The work is huge and there are opportunities now. Many talk the talk but few walk the walk. Few actually do help. I have written down all the names of those who have helped. From $20 to $2500 to $10,000 they have given in the past for the Vineyard project. And there were not that many. And I have prayed for them from the least amount to the most. Yehovah knows who they are. Now we have a real opportunity to put this message on TV. On the Church Channel and others. Are you going to help us, or have I not shown you enough of the prophecies to convince you yet? Please pray for Yehovah to open this door and let us run through it.

And again I thank you all for your help in this. It is not a one time donation but an ongoing weekly or monthly one until we have achieved our goals. Thank you.

ON April 10, 2013 a friend of ours died. She was new to this walk and was asking a lot of questions and learning on her own. She had plans of joining us in Tennessee for Sukkot this fall. She wrote to us up to the day before she died and was excited at the truths she was learning and was going to learn this fall about the Sabbatical and Jubilee years.

But when she went to sleep that night she never woke up and is now another one of Satan’s captives.

It would be about a week later that we learned she had died from either an over dose of prescription drugs or the combination of the wrong ones. We just do not know for sure. We do know she had a bronchial infection at the time.

I want to say right here and right now and to get this up front and in your faces. You do not know the time of your death and you do not know how much longer you have on this earth. But we all know we will die; we just do not know when.

Because of this each of you has an obligation to yourself to learn about the El whom you will stand in front of and be judged for what you have done.

Do you spend your time in front of the TV or listening to sports shows all the time? Can you quote the batting average for many players and not understand the book of Isaiah? Or are you the busy bee who knows everything about everyone else and watches the shopping channel or the soaps and do not get the intricacies of the Sabbatical cycles?

What are you wasting your time doing your whole short life?

How have you helped to support and teach the Truth of Torah? Was it by sending your tithes to Benny Hinn or some Christian group that denies the importance of the commandments? Did you or do you support those now teaching the truths of Torah?

When you stand before the Judgment seat of Yehovah, what will you say for how you have not helped to promote His word?

Mat 7:20 Therefore by their fruits you shall know them. 21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works? 23 And then I will say to them I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness! 24 Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock. 25 And the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house. And it did not fall, for it was founded on a rock. 26 And everyone who hears these sayings of Mine and does not do them shall be compared to a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain came down, and the floods came, and the wind blew and beat on that house. And it fell, and great was its fall.

Each of us must examine ourselves against Yehovah’s word. Period. Not your interpretation of it nor mine, but His alone. In order to do this you must study it and read it. This does not mean you read some conspiracy teaching site for the latest chem trail teaching or the latest goings on at the Vatican with the Illuminatti. It means you open up the bible and read it chapter by chapter until you have read it front to back. It means you study it subject by subject. It means you share with others what you have learned and you do this until the day you die. And when your doing this you have no time to waste on stupid Chem trail vomit or any of the other vomit that many of you keep going back to.

Pro 26:6 He who sends a message by the hand of a fool cuts off the feet and drinks down damage. 7 The legs of the lame are not equal; so is a parable in the mouth of fools. 8 As he who binds a stone in a sling, so is he who gives honor to a fool. 9 As a thorn goes up into the hand of a drunkard, so is a parable in the mouth of fools. 10 Great is the Former of all, but he who hires a fool is like one who hires one passing by. 11 As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool returns to his folly.

Why do many of you keep returning to those things that will only lead you to death?

The book of Ecclesiastes is Solomon’s search for the meaning in life. It is therefore still relevant today; Solomon, the man who had everything, had nothing without Yehovah.

Ecc 1:1 The words of the preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. 2 Vanity of vanities, says the preacher, vanity of vanities! All is vanity. 3 What is the profit to a man in all his labor which he labors under the sun? 4 A generation passes away, and a generation comes; but the earth remains forever. 5 The sun also arises, and the sun goes down, and hurries to its place where it arose. 6 The wind goes toward the south, and it turns around to the north; it whirls around continually; and the wind returns on its circuits. 7 All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; to the place from where the rivers come, there they return again. 8 All things are full of labor; man cannot utter it; the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing. 9 That which has been is that which shall be; and that which has been done is that which shall be done; and there is nothing new under the sun.

Solomon begins with the prime observation: all is vanity. The word “vanity” does not mean self-admiration in this context. It means “useless.” It’s not a new answer, either. You’ll find it in the book of Job and the Psalms, too. But this is the ultimate expression of it.

Solomon seeks the answer to a great question: what is the purpose of man?

Man doesn’t get it. Over and over again man chases that which seems good. He’s always looking for fulfillment – and the things of this earth do not fulfill. Sports, TV, shopping, soaps, eating, drinking. Worse, we usually find this out after trying them all. One of the constant things of life is that we do things the hard way.

After trying all the alternatives, Solomon concluded that all these things were just – vanity. Useless. A “striving after the wind.” These things are attractive, but ultimately they don’t serve as man’s purpose. They are a distraction.

Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God, and keep His commandments. For this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it is good, or whether evil.

We also read in Psalms

Psa 111:9 He sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever; holy and awesome is His name. 10 The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom, a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endures for ever.

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment,

Our friend has died and she was new to this walk and new to keeping the commandments, but she was trying and she was learning. She is not in Heaven, as some of you believe. If you think that when you die you go straight to heaven or hell then you have no clue what the Holy Days of Lev 23 teach us. No clue. If you need to unlearn this false Christian teaching that you go to heaven when you die then please read the follow link as I do not have time in this article to explain it all.

We have done so at this link;  Heaven or Hell Which one are you going to? Are You Sure?

The reason I am talking about the death of our friend is because in one weeks time we will be celebrating the Feast of Shavuot. And right about now many of you are asking what has Shavuot, the Feast of Pentecost, to do with those who have died. This is about the giving of the Ten Commandment; it is about the giving of the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts, both of which occurred on this very day of Shavuot.

If you do not know just how important the Feast of Shavuot is in the plan of Salvation then you truly do need to open up you bibles and begin to read them again. Turn off your TV and stop wasting you time with the cares of this world. Yes attend to them but do not spin your wheels over them. Learn what Yehovah has planned for you, or could have planned for you if you will get along side His commandments.

So here is a question for those who believe you go to heaven as soon as you die. Why does everyone avoid death like a plague and not look forward to it, if in fact you do go straight to heaven when you die. I would think we all would be rejoicing when someone died. But we do not.

Ecc 9:3 This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event to all. Yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead. 4 For whoever is chosen, to all those living, there is hope; for a living dog is better than a dead lion. 5 For the living know that they shall die; but the dead do not know anything, nor do they have any more a reward; for their memory is forgotten. 6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; nor do they any longer have a part forever in all that is done under the sun.

When you are dead, you’re dead! You are not in heaven you are not in purgatory and your not roasting in hell fire. Your Dead!!! And it is final.

Peter even said of King David the man after Yehovah’s own heart, Act 2:29 Men, brothers, it is permitted to say to you with plainness as to the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

King David is dead and still in the grave. All of the Apostles are dead and all of them are in the grave and not one, NOT ONE of the Apostles is now in heaven. Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin are all in the grave and none of the most evil people that lived on this earth are in Hell being tormented. Not one of them. No they are all in the grave and all of them are dead in the exact same way as all the Saints from the time of Yeshua’s resurrection.

Ok but now some of you Einstein’s are thinking to yourselves “What about the Thief on the Cross? Yeshua said this day you will be with me in Paradise. Well. Well??”

I ask you, “Why are we at this time counting the days of the Omer? Why?”

Is this just s silly game we play each year? What does it mean?

Again I tell you, that unless you are walking in the Holy Days and studying them and doing them you will never understand the plan of Salvation that Yehovah has laid out for all of us. And I say that with all confidence and assuredy.

Do you really understand what was being taught Nicodemos or have you been lied to again by false Christian teachings?

Joh 3:9 Nicodemus answered and said to Him, How can these things be? 10 Jesus answered and said to him, Are you the teacher of Israel and do not know these things? 11 Truly, truly, I say to you, We speak what we know and testify what we have seen. And you do not receive our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how shall you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 And no one has ascended up to Heaven except He who came down from Heaven, the Son of Man who is in Heaven.

Yeshua Himself said that NO ONE has gone to heaven. Not Enoch, Not Moses, not Noah not Daniel. NONE, NO ONE!!!! Is Yeshua a liar or are you?

The answer to this is explained in the verses before Yeshua said this.

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus said to Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again.

When you are baptized into this new walk in a flowing body of water, you re then given the Holy Spirit. Yes some have the spirit before they are baptized, but in either case it is the impregnating of the Holy Spirit with your spirit that has taken place. It is not until you grow over time and become more mature in the faith of Torah, that your spirit grows and then when you are changed either at His coming or at your resurrection then and only then are you reborn. Never at an altar call, never when you except Jesus as some are apt to do.

You are impregnated. You are not yet BORN AGAIN.

Rom 8:20 For the creation was not willingly subjected to vanity, but because of Him who subjected it on hope 21 that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 And we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. 23 And not only so, but ourselves also, who have the firstfruit of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, awaiting adoption, the redemption of our body.

1Th 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that I write to you. 2 For you yourselves know accurately that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety! Then sudden destruction comes on them, as travail upon a woman with child. And they shall not escape.

Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great sign in the heavens, a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon was under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars on her head, 2 and having a babe in womb, she cries, being in travail, having been distressed to bear.

Mat 24:6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for all these things must occur; but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in different places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

The word for Sorrows here is G5604 o-deen’
Akin to G3601; a pang or throe, especially of childbirth: – pain, sorrow, travail.

You must be born again. This is only going to take place once the whole of creation approaches the end of the 6th Millennial day which we are now at. Not the born again crap that some denominations claim comes when you make the altar call at their church. Stop playing religion! Start to understand the Torah. Again Yeshua explains this concept.

Joh 12:23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. 24 Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit. 25 He who loves his life shall lose it. And he who hates his life in this world shall keep it to life eternal. 26 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there also My servant shall be. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

Psa 1:4 The wicked are not so, but are like chaff which the wind drives away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For Jehovah knows the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

The chaff are the wicked. Therefore the wheat are the Godly!

You brethren are to be the wheat and amongst you are the tares.

Mat 13:1 In that day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the seaside. 2 And great crowds were gathered to Him, so that He went into a boat and sat. And all the crowd stood on the shore. 3 And He spoke many things to them in parables, saying, Behold, the sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth. And they sprang up immediately, because they had no deepness of earth. 6 And the sun rising, they were scorched, and because they had no root, they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns. And the thorns sprung up and choked them. 8 And some fell on the good ground and yielded fruit, indeed one a hundredfold, and one sixty, and one thirty. 9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear. 10 And the disciples said to Him, Why do You speak to them in parables? 11 He answered and said to them, Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them. 12 For whoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance. But whoever does not have, from him shall be taken away even that which he has. 13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not; nor do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah which said, “By hearing you shall hear and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see and shall not perceive; 15 for this people’s heart has become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes, lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.” 16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. 17 For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear what you hear, and have not heard them. 18 Therefore hear the parable of the sower. 19 When anyone hears the Word of the kingdom and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown by the wayside. 20 But that which was sown on the stony places is this: he who hears the Word and immediately receives it with joy. 21 But he has no root in himself, and is temporary. For when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the Word, he immediately stumbles. 22 And that sown into the thorns is this: he who hears the Word; and the anxiety of this world, and the deceit of riches, choke the Word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23 But that sown on the good ground is this: he who hears the Word and understands; who also bears fruit and produces one truly a hundredfold; and one sixty; and one thirty. 24 He put out another parable to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the blade had sprung up and had produced fruit, then the darnel also appeared. 27 So the servants of the householder came and said to him, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then where have the darnel come from? 28 He said to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Then do you want us to go and gather them up? 29 But he said, No, lest while you gather up the darnel you also root up the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. And in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, First gather together the darnel and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my granary. 31 He put out another parable to them, saying, The kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; 32 which indeed is the least of all seeds, but when it is grown it is the greatest among herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches. 33 He spoke another parable to them: The kingdom of Heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal until the whole was leavened. 34 Jesus spoke all these things to the crowds in parables, and He did not speak to them without a parable, 35 so that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.” 36 Then sending the crowds away, Jesus went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, Explain to us the parable of the darnel of the field. 37 He answered and said to them, He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man; 38 the field is the world; the good seed are the sons of the kingdom; but the darnel are the sons of the evil one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the Devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the darnel are gathered and burned in the fire, so it shall be in the end of this world. 41 The Son of Man shall send out His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who do iniquity, 42 and shall cast them into a furnace of fire. There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous shall shine out like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear. 44 Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which when a man has found it, he hides it, and for the joy of it goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field. 45 Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls; 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. 47 Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like a net that was cast into the sea, and gathered some of every kind; 48 which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. 49 So it shall be at the end of the world. The angels shall come out and separate the wicked from among the just, 50 and shall cast them into the furnace of fire. There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 51 Jesus said to them, Have you understood all these things? They said to Him, Yes, Lord. 52 Then He said to them, Therefore every scribe who is instructed to the kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out things new and old out of his treasure.

You brethren are the Wheat and you must be born again but this rebirth does not take place until after you have died and been planted in the earth or at His coming.

Notice it takes place at the END of this world or the end of this age.

39 The enemy who sowed them is the Devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the darnel are gathered and burned in the fire, so it shall be in the end of this world.

When is the end of this world then? Or when is the end of this age?

Gen 6:3 And Jehovah said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, in his erring; he is flesh. Yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

120 periods of time is what this actually means. This is speaking of the 6 millennial days of man. 120 Jubilee cycles. We are shown this in one of the Holy Appointed times of Yehovah. You can read of it in Lev 23 as well. It is the first one mentioned. It is the weekly Sabbath.

6 Days you can work but the 7th is the Shabbat when no work is to be done. You now compare that to the millennial cycles and we are in the 6th one. We know this because we can add up all of the known history of mankind. We have shown this to you in our DVD and in the new book “Remembering the Sabbatical Years of 2016”, Chapter 15 and chapter 18.

For 6 millennial days Men will have a choice as to whether or not they will obey Yehovah and His Torah or do it their own way and follow Satan and the tree of Knowledge of good and evil. Again the tree of knowledge of good and evil is where the conspiracy teachings come from. You need to stop eating at this tree! Satans tree leads to death. Yehovah created life not death. Satan is one who holds you captive in death.

Each millennial day is made up of 40 Jubilee cycles of 49 years each. The 50th one is the first year in the following count.

It is when you actually do the homework and add up the history, which we have done in chapter 15 and 18 of our book” Remembering the Sabbatical Years of 2016”, for you, that you then realize we are in the very last Jubilee cycle before the 7th millennium. The millennial rest you want to enter into.

Heb 3:1 Therefore, holy brothers, called to be partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus, 2 who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all his house. 3 For He was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who has built the house has more honor than the house. 4 For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. 5 And Moses truly was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken afterward. 6 But Christ was faithful as a Son over his own house; whose house we are, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end. 7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear His voice, 8 do not harden your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness, 9 when your fathers tempted Me, proved Me, and saw My works forty years. 10 Therefore I was grieved with that generation and said, They always err in their heart, and they have not known My ways. 11 So I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter into My rest.” 12 Take heed, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, 15 while it is said, “Today if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.” 16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke; however, not all who came out of Egypt by Moses. 17 But with whom was He grieved forty years? Was it not with those who had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear that they should not enter into His rest, but to those who did not believe? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Heb 4:1 Therefore, a promise being left to enter into His rest, let us fear lest any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For also we have had the gospel preached, as well as them. But the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. 3 For we who have believed do enter into the rest, as He said, “I have sworn in My wrath that they should not enter into My rest;” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For He spoke in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested the seventh day from all His works.” 5 And in this place again, “They shall not enter into My rest.” 6 Since then it remains that some must enter into it, and since they to whom it was first preached did not enter in because of unbelief, 7 He again marks out a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” (after so long a time). Even as it is said, “Today, if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts.” 8 For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. 9 So then there remains a rest to the people of God. 10 For he who has entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from His. 11 Therefore let us labor to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of unbelief.

Here then is part of the answer to the thief on the tree who would be this day with Yeshua in Paradise. Yehshu was murdered on the 4th Millennium day in the year 31 C.E. That 4th millennium day did not end until the year 84 C.E.

Yeshua said no one has gone to heaven except the son of man who came down from Heaven. That was true when He said it. But when He died some miraculous things took place that had never happened before.

Mat 27:50 And crying again with a loud voice, Jesus released His spirit. 51 And, behold! The veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And the earth quaked, and the rocks were sheared, 52 and the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep arose,

What does this mean?

We learn of the meaning of this event of the bodies of the saints being raised in the understanding of the necessity of the barley to begin the year. You must have ripe barley in order to do this commandment in Lev 23. If you do not do this then you cannot eat the growth of the land that year.

Lev 23:10 Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap the harvest of it, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 And he shall wave the sheaf before Jehovah to be received for you. On the next day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

You can learn much more about the meaning of these days at the article The Hidden Meaning of Pentecost

We read in the Mishnah of this event and the controversy at that time when things were being changed. The Barley was to be marked with a cord so that when the reapers went out after dark they could know which sheafs were to be reaped.

It is the marking of the sheafs that is represented by the Saints being raised up from the graves.

Menachoth 65a MISHNA. WHAT WAS THE PROCEDURE? THE MESSENGERS OF THE BETH DIN USED TO GO OUT ON THE DAY BEFORE THE FESTIVAL AND TIE THE UNREAPED CORN IN BUNCHES TO MAKE IT THE EASIER TO REAP. ALL THE INHABITANTS OF THE TOWNS NEAR BY ASSEMBLED THERE,[34] SO THAT IT MIGHT BE REAPED WITH MUCH DISPLAY. AS SOON AS IT BECAME DARK HE[35] CALLED OUT, ‘HAS THE SUN SET’? AND THEY ANSWERED. ‘YES.’ HAS THE SUN SET’? AND THEY ANSWERED, ‘YES.’ WITH THIS SICKLE’?[36] AND THEY ANSWERED, ‘YES’. ‘WITH THIS SICKLE’? AND THEY ANSWERED, YES’. ‘INTO THIS BASKET’? AND THEY ANSWERED, ‘YES’. INTO THIS BASKET’? AND THEY ANSWERED. ‘YES’. ON THE SABBATH HE CALLED OUT FURTHER, ON THIS SABBATH’? AND THEY ANSWERED. ‘YES’. ‘ON THIS SABBATH’? AND THEY ANSWERED. ‘YES’. ‘SHALL I REAP’?[37] AND THEY ANSWERED, REAP’. ‘SHALL I REAP’? AND THEY ANSWERED, ‘REAP’. HE REPEATED EVERY MATTER THREE TIMES, AND THEY ANSWERED, ‘YES.’ ‘YES.’ ‘YES’. AND WHY WAS ALL THIS? BECAUSE OF THE BOETHUSIANS[38] WHO MAINTAINED THAT THE REAPING OF THE ‘OMER WAS NOT TO TAKE PLACE AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE [FIRST DAY OF THE] FESTIVAL.
You will notice that the Saints were raised up when Yeshua died. He died on the 14th day. The day before the first day of unleavened bread, a high day. So the barley was marked before the days of Unleavened bread began. And then we read in Mathew when the saints come to life.

Mat 27:50 And crying again with a loud voice, Jesus released His spirit. 51 And, behold! The veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And the earth quaked, and the rocks were sheared, 52 and the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep arose, 53 and coming out of the tomb after His resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

These saints did not come back to life until Yeshua did at the end of the Sabbath 3 days and 3 nights after being killed that Wednesday after noon. So those graves were raised up and for three days people could see them and wonder what was going on. They were the barley that was marked before the first High Holy Day.

The barley was then harvested after the weekly Sabbath, after Yeshua resurrected from the grave. It was at this same time that the thief on the tree would have been resurrected and raised up to life again.

Here is an excerpt from The Hidden Meaning of Pentecost.

The consecration of the First Fruits sanctifies the whole harvest, since the part stands for the whole.
As the Apostle Paul put it in Romans:

16 “If the dough offered as first fruits is holy, so is the whole lump.” (Romans 11:16)

By the symbolic gesture of consecrating the First Fruits, the whole of the harvest was consecrated to Yahweh. The idea that the consecration of a part of the whole exercises a sanctifying influence on the all of the whole is also applied in the Bible to the plan of salvation.
In Jeremiah and Hosea respectively we read:

3 “Israel was holiness to the Lord, The first fruits of His increase.” (Jeremiah 2:3)
10 “As the first fruits on the fig tree in its first season.” (Hosea 9:10)

How so? Because Israel was called by Yahweh to exercise a sanctifying influence on all nations. Similarly, as Christians, we are “a kind of first fruits of His creatures: (James 1:8), because we are called to be a sanctifying influence in the world. Those who arose from the dead at the time of Yeshua’s resurrection became the First Fruits, that is, the pledge of all those who will rise at the time of Yeshua’s return. (Matthew 27:52-53; Ephesians 4:8; I Thessalonians 4:13-18) The 144,000 saints who follow the Lamb are: “…first fruits for Yahweh and the Lamb.” (Revelation 14:4)

Paul, in I Corinthians, specifically calls Yeshua’s resurrection the First Fruits of those who will rise from the dead:
20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the first fruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.” (I Corinthians 15:20-24)

In this passage, Paul speaks of Yeshua twice as “the First Fruits,” not only to indicate He was the first to rise bodily from the grave, but also that by so doing, He fulfilled the Offering of the First Fruits—at Passover and at Pentecost. We have noted that the Omer of the Sheaf of Barley was waved before Yahweh, by the priest as a pledge of the full harvest that would follow. The ceremony was performed on the day after the weekly Sabbath at about 9 AM, Sunday morning. “The Wave Sheaf Offering, specifically the roasted Omer of grain, with salt and Frankincense, was a type of Christ, the ‘First Fruits,’ or pledge, of the great harvest that will follow when all the righteous dead are raised at the Second Coming of Yeshua.

In I Corinthians and I Thessalonians respectively we read:

23 “But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.” (I Corinthians 15:23)
16 “And the dead in Christ will rise first.” (I Thessalonians 4:16)

Yeshua rose from the dead on the eve of the very day that the Wave Offering was presented in the Temple (Leviticus 23:14; Luke 23:56, 24:1) As the first sheaf was a pledge and assurance of the ingathering of the entire harvest, so the resurrection of Yeshua is a pledge that all who put their trust in Him will be raised from the dead.

Please take note. The High Priest did not present before Yahweh just one head of grain, but a whole Omer of Barley. Salt and Frankincense were also added.

Similarly, Yeshua did not come forth from the grave alone, for “many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised.” (Matthew 27:52) Paul tells us that when Yeshua “ascended on high, He led a host of captives.” (Ephesians 4:8 RSV) Those who were raised at Yeshua’s death and came “out of the tombs after His resurrection,” (Matthew 27:53) ascended with Yeshua to heaven as trophies of His power to resurrect all who sleep in the grave. Just as the Omer of Barley was a pledge of the coming harvest, so the saints who Yeshua raised at the time of His death are a pledge of a future harvest of saints.

It is in understanding this that we must come to realize that if the first wave offering represented the dead Saints up to the time of the Yeshua’s resurrection, then the second wave offering at Pentecost must also represent those saints who will be resurrected on Pentecost in the future.

Yes Pentecost does represent the giving of the Torah on this day at Mount Sinai and yes it does represent the giving of the Holy Spirit on this very same day in Jerusalem, but it also represents the resurrection of all those who have believed and were keeping the commandment of Yehovah who died from that time of Yeshua being raised all the way down to our time when this change is about to take place.

And this is the importance of counting the Omer each year. The annual counting of the Omer is a reminder of where we are in the Jubilee cycle.

This year of 2013 is the 18th year of the Jubilee cycle. It is the 4th year during the 3rd Sabbatical cycle.

Lev 23:14 And you shall eat neither bread, nor parched grain, nor green ears, until the same day, until you have brought an offering to your God. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. 15 And you shall count to you from the next day after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete. 16 To the next day after the seventh sabbath you shall number fifty days. And you shall offer a new food offering to Jehovah. 17 You shall bring out of your homes two wave loaves of two-tenth parts. They shall be of fine flour. They shall be baked with leaven, firstfruits to Jehovah. 18 And you shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bull, and two rams. They shall be for a burnt offering to Jehovah, with their food offering, and their drink offerings, a fire offering of sweet savor to Jehovah. 19 Then you shall sacrifice one he-goat for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings. 20 And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits, a wave offering before Jehovah, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to Jehovah for the priest. 21 And you shall proclaim on the same day that it may be a holy convocation to you. You shall do no work of labor. It shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

At Pentecost is the wheat harvest. You are that wheat and it is at this time that you will be harvested. Notice that the two cakes have leaven in them. You are not prefect but are striving for that perfection. And notice that these also are FIRST FRUITS.

This is the goal, this is what you are counting the Omer for. You are working for, you are suffering the evils of this world, the tares for a season, until this time actually takes place. When does this happen?

We are told of the time of this event in Revelation.

Rev 14:1 And I looked, and lo, the Lamb stood on Mount Zion. And with Him were a hundred and forty-four thousands, having His Father’s name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from Heaven, like the voice of many waters and like the voice of a great thunder. And I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps. 3 And they sang as it were a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousands who were redeemed from the earth. 4 These are those who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, as a firstfruit to God and to the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no guile, for they were without blemish before the throne of God.

These 144,000 are first fruits to Yehovah.

So here is when this is to take place. And you cannot understand this if you do not know the Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles.

Rev 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying to me, Who are these who are arrayed in white robes, and from where do they come? 14 And I said to him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are the ones who came out of the great tribulation and have washed their robes, and have whitened them in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His temple. And He sitting on the throne will dwell among them. 16 They will not hunger any more, nor thirst any more, nor will the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17 For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will feed them and will lead them to the fountains of living waters. And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes.

It is by keeping the Weekly Sabbath that we come to understand the 7th Millennium. It is by keeping the Holy Days, not just acknowledging them, but by actually taking the time off of work and attending with a group and learning about the Holy Days in their season that learn the deeper meaning to them and coming to the understanding of the Plan of Salvation. But it is not until we begin to keep the Sabbatical and Jubilee years that we begin to know when these things will be. And doing the Counting of the Omer each year does this.

Must I spell this out for you?

These are those who came out of the Tribulation, which means they went through the Tribulation. There goes the rapture theories and all that crap they teach on it. By understanding of the Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles we know this is the last Jubilee cycle as we have explained in the DVD and the book Remembering the Sabbatical Years of 2016 and in the charts of The Prophecies of Abraham. If you do not have these three in your library you are short changing only yourselves.

By understanding the Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles you also know that there are curses for not keeping them which when laid out bring you up to the 5th Sabbatical cycle. And it is only when you lay the fall holy days on top of this last Jubilee cycle and counting back from the 8th Day Feast, which you match up with the Jubilee year, that you learn when the Year of Atonement comes.

And it is only when you actually do this. Not just sit there and read how I did it, but when you actually go and do this work yourself, that then and only then will you know that this year which is the year for the Atonement is the same one in the Jubilee cycle as when the Flood came in Noah’s day and it was also the same year again in another Jubilee cycle in which Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed. And then suddenly you will have a new understanding of the meaning in Luke when Yeshua said;

Luk 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it also shall be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 So also as it was in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but the day Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from the heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so it shall be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. 31 In that day he who shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise, he who is in the field, let him not return to the things behind. 32 Remember Lot’s wife. 33 Whoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it, and whoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

In the same year, which is the atonement year, is when the 144,000 will be raised up at the end of the 3 ½ years of tribulation at Shavuot.

Yeshua also told you this same thing in John

Joh 4:34 Jesus said to them, My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work. 35 Do you not say, It is yet four months, and the harvest comes? Behold, I say to you, Lift up your eyes and look on the fields, for they are white to harvest already. 36 And he who reaps receives wages and gathers fruit to life eternal, so that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. 37 And in this is the saying true, One sows and another reaps. 38 I sent you to reap that on which you bestowed no labor. Other men labored, and you have entered into their labor.

Four months after Shavuot is the fall Feast of Sukkot, the Great INGATHERING of the rest of mankind. Stop looking to this harvest, Yeshua says and pay attention to the one at hand, the one that is now, which comes at Shavuot.

Those who keep the Annual Holy Days will know the meaning of the Day of Atonement and that on this day Satan is locked away for the seventh Millennium as we are shown in Revelation.

Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. 3 And he cast him into the abyss and shut him up and set a seal on him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years should be fulfilled. And after that he must be loosed a little time.

This matches the events showed to us in Lev 16 of the two goats and what was to happen to each one of them.

So before the 7th Millennium can start Satan must be locked away and that takes place on the Day of Atonement in the year of Atonement which is the end of the3 ½ years of tribulation. That year that this takes place is according to the Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles is 2033. It is that year when the Saints will be changed in a twinkling of an eye as Paul wrote.

But there is more still.

We have a sequence of events written about by the Prophet Daniel. The 1260 and 1290 and 1335 days. We also have the Two Witnesses in Revelation preaching for times time and a half time and Daniel also writes about the two men in Daniel 8 one of whom says to the other that these things will be for 2300 days.

All of those who have espoused the false teachings of the Daniel Time line lie have always taken all of these numbers to say they all fall during the last 3 ½ years of the tribulation. And this just aint so. Are you going to believe those who have lied to you in the past over and over or are you ready to know the truth?

My next book The 70 Shabua of Daniel and the one to follow it, Joseph’s 7 years of plenty and the 2300 days of Hell will explain this in much greater detail than I am about to today. The next book is already over 400 pages long. These are things I will explain at Sukkot this year in 2013. So consider attending.

It is my position that the 1335 days spoken of in Daniel starts at the Feast of Trumpets and concludes at Pentecost.

Dan 12:12 Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

Brethren, my friend who just died, had repented and was just learning about the Sabbath and was keeping it. Had kept some of the Holy Days for the first time in her life and was learning about the Sabbatical year and was going to keep the next one in 2016. Can each of you say the same thing? Are you now keeping the weekly Sabbath from Sunset Friday to sunset Saturday? Are you keep the holy Days as they come based on the counting using the barley and the sighted moon to begin the year and the month? Are you going to keep the Sabbatical year when it comes, from Aviv to Aiviv? Are you learning about them and seeking understanding?

The Thief on the tree was guilty of breaking the commandments but repented sincerely and was granted to go to the Kingdom when Yeshua rose from the grave 3 days later. Will you be spoken of as one who actually did repent and began to keep these Holy Appointed times or will you be one we never heard of because your name will not be found in the book of life? It will not be there because you will not and would not obey.

We are now about to begin the last week of the counting of the Omer as it leads up to Shavuot. Do so with vigor because you are still alive and can do so. Remember the Dead know nothing, and now you know the greatness of the meaning of Shavuot and how it all is tied together. Live your life to the fullness of Yehovah’s plan for you in His will. My friend never expected to die that night she went to sleep. You also do not know how much time is left for you to accomplish the work Yehovah has given you. Do not waste it on things that do not matter.

Share “Remembering the Sabbatical years of 2016” with your family and friends and Congregations as the one fella did who wrote in at eh beginning of this news letter. Help everyone you can come to know about the Sabbatical Years and when they are and the penalties for not keeping them. BY helping them to understand this subject you also help them to understand the whole plan of salvation as the Weekly Sabbath, and the Holy Days of Lev 23 and the Sabbatical and Jubilee years are all about the plan of Salvation. Yehovah’s plan of Salvation. You get to decide which part of it you will be in. Whether the one that is coming, the one in which the whole of creation is about to give birth to and be a part of the 144,000, or you can take you chances on being in the one at Sukkot or not.

Having now explained this to you, go now and read Isaiah. Is he really speaking about he birth of the nation of Israel in 1948? I say no! Once again those who do not understand the Holy Days and the Sabbatical Years have misapplied a prophecy to the wrong event and many of us have fallen for it. Read ALL of Isaiah and see when this applies. Not just one verse out of context but the whole thing together.

Isa 66:1 So says Jehovah, Heaven is My throne, and earth My footstool. Where, then, is the house that you build for Me? And where is the place of My rest? 2 For all those My hand has made, and all those exist, says Jehovah. But to this one I will look, to the afflicted and contrite spirit, and the one who trembles at My Word. 3 He who kills an ox is is as if he killed a man; he who sacrifices a lamb is as if he broke a dog’s neck; he who offers an offering is as if he offered swine’s blood; he who burns incense is as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations. 4 I also will choose the things that delude them, and I will bring their fears on them, because I called, no one answered; when I spoke, they did not hear. But they did evil before My eyes and chose that in which I did not delight. 5 Hear the Word of Jehovah, you who tremble at His Word; your brothers who hated you, who cast you out for My name’s sake, said, Let Jehovah be glorified. But He will appear to your joy, and they will be ashamed. 6 A sound of noise from the city, a sound from the temple, a sound of Jehovah repaying His enemies. 7 Before she travailed, she gave birth; before her pain came, she delivered a man child. 8 Who has heard a thing like this? Who has seen things like these? Will the earth be brought forth in one day? Or will a nation be born at once? For Zion travailed and also brought forth her sons. 9 Will I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth, says Jehovah? Surely I will cause birth and restrain, says your God. 10 Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all who love her. Rejoice for joy with her, all who mourn for her; 11 that you may suck and be satisfied with her comforting breasts; that you may milk out and be delighted with the fullness of her glory. 12 For so says Jehovah, Behold, I will hold out peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like a flowing stream. Then you will suck, you will be carried on her sides and be dandled upon her knees. 13 As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; and you will be comforted in Jerusalem. 14 And you will see, and your heart will rejoice, and your bones will flourish like the grass. And the hand of Jehovah will be known toward His servants, and His fury toward His enemies. 15 For, behold, Jehovah will come with fire, and with His chariots like a tempest, to refresh His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire. 16 For by fire and by His sword Jehovah will execute judgment with all flesh; and the slain of Jehovah will be many. 17 Those who sanctify themselves, and purify themselves to go into the gardens, behind one tree in the middle, eating swine’s flesh, and the hateful thing, and the mouse, will be cut off together, says Jehovah. 18 For I know their works and their thoughts; it comes to gather all the nations and the tongues; and they will come and see My glory. 19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those who escape from them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, drawers of the bow; to Tubal, and Javan, to the far away coasts that have not heard My fame, nor have seen My glory. And they will declare My glory among the nations. 20 And they will bring all your brothers for an offering to Jehovah out of all nations on horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and on mules, and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem, says Jehovah, as the sons of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of Jehovah. 21 And I will also take some of them for priests and for Levites, says Jehovah. 22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make stand before Me, says Jehovah, so will your seed and your name stand. 23 And it will be, from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before Me, says Jehovah. 24 And they will go out and see the dead bodies of the men who have sinned against Me; for their worm will not die, nor will their fire be put out; and they will be an object of disgust to all flesh.

And finally the prophecy of the dry bones in Ezekiel 37 has a whole new understanding as well. I will leave that thought with you.

Triennial Torah Cycle

Duet 17         1 Chron 19-21        1 Thes 4-5

In Deuteronomy 17

the first section is speaking of implementing capital punishment. How it was to be done by the witness of two witnesses. And how the whole community was to be part of the execution of this punishment.

Deu 17:13 And all the people shall hear and fear, and not be presumptuous any more.

IN doing this it would deter others from also doing the same thing in the future.

IN our modern more sophisticated times we have decided not to do this. Instead we put the guilty in jails and then allow them come to a parole hearing in which we have to subject the victims families to this horror over and over each year in order to keep the guilty in jail.

We also pay out billions to house and feed and control those in jails each year and we are running out of room. And the current system does not deter anyone as they all know they can maybe get away with it or at worse they get three square meals a day for the rest of their lives and not have to worry about paying for anything.

The rest of Deut deals with the Kings of Israel. First of all it is Yehovah who chooses your Kings. This is diametrically opposite to the constitutions of most nations today of whom the people choose who is going to rule over them.

Notice verse 15. You shall not set a stranger over you. One who is not your brother. Something the USA has not heeded the last two elections.

Deu 17:14 When you come to the land which Jehovah your God gives you, and shall possess it and shall live in it and shall say, I will set a king over me, like all the nations around me,
Deu 17:15 you shall surely set a king over you, whom Jehovah your God shall choose. You shall set a king over you from among your brothers. You may not set a stranger over you, who is not your brother.
Deu 17:16 But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, so as to multiply horses, because Jehovah has said to you, You shall return no more that way from now on.
Deu 17:17 Nor shall he multiply wives to himself, so that his heart does not turn away. Nor shall he greatly multiply silver and gold to himself.

You also are to be Kings and Priests in the Kingdom of Yehovah how many of you have read the Torah cover to cover let alone written it all out word for word.

Deu 17:18 And it shall be, when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, he shall write a copy of this Law in a book from before the priests, the Levites.
Deu 17:19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, so that he may learn to fear Jehovah his God, to keep all the words of this Law, and these statutes, to do them,
Deu 17:20 so that his heart may not be lifted up above his brothers, and that he does not turn aside from the commandment, to the right or the left, so that he may make his days longer in his kingdom, he and his sons, in the midst of Israel.

1 Chronicles 19-21

The threshing floor David purchases from Ornan the Jebusite eventually becomes the site of the temple Solomon builds. How did David know to choose that site for the temple? In our last reading, we were informed that this is where God directed that a new altar be built (1 Chronicles 21:18)—one that He miraculously sanctioned by fire from heaven (verse 26). The passage in 22:1 sounds like a light suddenly came on in David’s mind as he mentally connected the dots. “By the miraculous sign of fire from heaven, and perhaps other intimations, David understood it to be the will of God that the national place of worship should be fixed there, and he forthwith proceeded to make preparations for the erection of the temple on that spot” (Jamieson, Fausset, & Brown Commentary, note on verse 1). “…This is to be the house because this is the altar. The temple was built for the sake of the altar” (Matthew Henry’s Commentary, note on verse 1).

It is interesting to consider the fact that the site was a threshing floor, where chaff was separated from grain. Speaking of Jesus Christ, John the Baptist said, “His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire” (Luke 3:17).

Although David is not allowed to build the temple himself (1 Chronicles 22:8), he has not been prevented from conducting preparations for it—and these he carries out thoroughly and abundantly (verse 5). David instructs Solomon on what to do regarding this temple, points out his need for wisdom—which Solomon remembers at a critical point (2 Chronicles 1:7-10)—and admonishes him to obey God (instruction he will not continue to do so well with over the course of his life).

David also makes it quite clear that Solomon is to be the next king. He recounts God’s original promise concerning Solomon in 1 Chronicles 22:9-10. These verses are dual in application, referring to both Solomon and the future Messiah. Solomon’s name means “Peaceful.” And note that God specifically and specially calls him “My son.” Solomon’s mostly peaceful reign is a definite type of the coming peaceful reign on earth of David’s descendant Jesus Christ, the ultimate Prince of Peace and Son of God—who is commissioned by God the Father to build a spiritual temple, the Church.

In Proverbs 4:1-9, we find Solomon passing David’s instructions about obedience and the pursuit of wisdom and understanding on to his own children. In this passage, we have words of David recorded outside his psalms or the accounts of his life. And they are words we would all do well to heed.

1 Thess 4-5

It is most appropriate that these two chapters are here in this weeks Torah portion. And especially as I have written this weeks news letter not knowing until now.

I shall let the words of Paul have the final say as they comfort you knowing the times and seasons as I have already written to you.

1Th 4:13 But I would not have you ignorant, brothers, concerning those who are asleep, that you be not grieved, even as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him all those who have fallen asleep through Jesus. 15 For we say this to you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall not go before those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ shall rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And so we shall ever be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

4 But you, brothers, are not in darkness, that the Day should overtake you like a thief. 5 You are all the sons of light and the sons of the day. We are not of the night, or of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep as the rest do, but let us watch and be calm. 7 For those sleeping sleep in the night, and those being drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be calm, having put on the breastplate of faith and love and the hope of salvation for a helmet. 9 For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, so that whether we watch or sleep we should live together with Him. 11 Therefore comfort one another, and edify one another, even as you also do. 12 And, brothers, we beseech you to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and who admonish you, 13 and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves. 14 Now we exhort you, brothers, warn those who are unruly, comfort the faint-hearted, support the weak, be patient toward all. 15 See that none gives evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue the good, both towards one another and towards all. 16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophesying. 21 Prove all things, hold fast to the good. 22 Abstain from every appearance of evil. 23 And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blamelessly at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is He who called you, who also will do it.
