The Yoreh Rains Arrive in Israel-September 25, 2025

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,

I arrived home from our final speaking engagement late Wednesday night. I slept most of Thursday and I am still tired. Shane and Anita will not be home until Friday. I want to give a huge thank you to Shane and Anita, who drove to Texas and loaded up the banners and books in the weeks leading up to Sukkot. They took them back to Nebraska and offloaded them into their garage. Then they loaded up the banners and enough books for Sukkot and the three places where I was to speak. They brought all of this to our Feast in Kentucky, worked on the audiovisual so that you all could see and hear what we were teaching and celebrating. After Sukkot, they again loaded everything up and brought it with them to Pennsylvania, New Jersey and finally Upstate New York and then drove back to Nebraska with the banners. They would not let me pay for the hotel rooms along the way and insisted on buying most of my meals. They let me buy the ice cream. On top of this Herculean effort they did, I had company to discuss things with and to laugh with all along the way.

They did not have to do this, but they did. They went way beyond the call of duty, and I sincerely thank them and ask Yehovah to bless them abundantly in ways they cannot measure and to cause their cups to be constantly overflowing. Thank you, Shane and Anita, for being there for this work and being friends to me during those times after the speaking is done, when I am usually alone.

This week, I am going to share with you the Yoreh rains that arrived on Thursday, Sept 25, 2025, in Israel. They are not supposed to come until after Shemini Atzeret. Now you will hear the excuses the other groups will give you about this phenomenon. At Sightedmoon.com, I don’t have to make excuses. We are in sync with Yehovah’s timing for His Holy Days. It is not about who is right or wrong. It is all about following Yehovah.

I have not had time yet to update you about our Sukkot week or about our speaking tour this past week. This is why you really must sign up and follow us on both our telegram groups. The Stones Cry Out Part 1 & Part 2

The Stones Cry Out Part 1 & Part 2

Do you want to know how to prove the Zadok Calendar, the Enoch Calendar, and the Book of Jubilee Calendar false?

Do you want to know how the calendar issue became so confusing?

I got this awesome endorsement and I want to share it here now. with you.

In The Stones Cry Out, I walk you through the history of each change and why those changes came about, starting with the Maccabean days. Yes, it all began around 164 B.C. When Yehshua was here, he was dealing with two schools of thought. The Sadducees were all but wiped out when the Temple fell in 70 C.E. This left only the Pharisees, who began to be persecuted after the failure of the Bar Kochbah Revolt in 134 C.E.

The truth began to become out of focus around 160 C.E. when Rabbi Jose wrote the Seder Olam. This work originally was written to proof Simon Bar Kochbah was the Messiah. When that did not pan out the history was later revived and then redacted as the truth into the Mishneh Torah by Rabbi Judah ha Nasi in 180 C.E. After this the Jerusalem Talmud begins to debate these issues. It was then during this time as the Jerusalem Talmudist are forced to flee and the Babylonian Talmudist continue to grow until the 6th century that Hillel came up with a solution to help them keep the Holy Days at the proper time while they were out of the land of Israel. He did this in 358 C.E. This work was then modified and adjusted over the next 800 years with additions added and other rejected. Until it was finally redacted once again in 1177 by Rambam. And with that we now have the modern Hillel calendar which includes the errors passed on during each redaction. These errors included the time of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years.

Once the Temple was destroyed in 70 C.E., the Jews recorded time by counting from the time It was destroyed. This is why the 40 tombstones of Zoar, which record this information, are crucial to understand.

When you understand why the Postponement rules were first created so that the crescent moon would not be seen in another part of the world before it was seen in Israel then you can understand how they were still trying to follow the crescent moon to begin the month. The Tombstones show us this exact thing. The tombstones also show us when the Jews changed from a crescent moon to a Conjunction moon to begin the month. They also show us when the Jews changed the year from the month of Aviv to the Tishri to begin the year.

I really want you to understand these things so you know why you do what you do as far as following a calendar to keep Yehovah’s moedim.

I would like to add this recent comment to encourage you all to get this book and learn these truths. And the Book is FREE. You have no reason not to get it.

Most people assume that Hillel created the calendar in 358 C.E. They then assume that because it was a Sanhedrin, they are not allowed to change in order to obey Yehovah. The Hillel calendar has been changed many times since 358 C.E. up until 1177 C.E. Few people talk about these changes but we do in our latest Book The Stones Cry Out Part 1 which is free on our website. The Hillel calendar was changed on many occasions and many sought to make other changes during this time. They never needed a Bet Din to approve those changes. They just did them. So this excuse that we do not have the right to obey Yehovah because the Bet Din has not approved it is a crock of crap.
You have the obligation to obey Yehovah. You have the duty to prove which calendar you are to go by. You must prove it beyond all doubt. Yehshua never followed the Hillel calendar. Nor did any of the Apostles.
The reason no man can know the day or the hour is because it refers to a crescent moon to begin the 7th month. That is the day He was born on and the day He comes to judge on. At a day and hour no one can know. Using the Hillel calendar predicts Yom Teruah years in advance so every one knows when to keep it. But even in the Hillel calendar they keep two days of Yom Teruah reckoning back to the sighted moon. Also in the postponement rules developed long after Hillel, they again state that if the conjunction is at a certain time then the day begins at such and such, in order that the moon will not be seen in another part of the world before it is seen in Israel. That was rule number 2.
Everyone has to choose. You have the right to be wrong. But if you choose to be wrong then you also must live with the consequences that come with sin. And that is the death penalty for not keeping the Holy Days, these Sabbath at the proper time. It is your choice.
Just because you write in to me to justify your position does mean it is right. It just means your sounding off.

Allow me to share this endorsement of our latest book again. If you have read our books, please share your thoughts about them with us in the comments below or email me.

And yes, many observe the Equinox.  There are many who are deceived, improperly educated.  And this is why Joe puts out a newsletter every week, why he writes books, why the SightedMoon Zoom Shabbat service started, why he travels to places like England and the Philippines to share this message and why were are going to the NRB in February.  The calendar is always a divisive issue in social circles because the details are many, that’s why there are so many books Joe has written.  I’m not looking to put Joe on a pedestal here.  This is not about Joe worship.  But Joe has tenaciously studied out the calendar from every angle, not to prove himself right, to to seek to find and share what Yehovah is telling us about His Calendar.

In The Stones Cry Out, Joe has shared the history of all the different groups within Israel, and the beliefs they had about the scriptures and the feast days and the calendar.  When you line it all up, you can see for yourself the how and why these misunderstandings and arguments about how and where and why  they came about.

This is my new favourite book and I’m only 60-70 pages in.  And I encourage you to read the footnotes in this one.  Sometimes there’s more footnote on the page than Joe’s words.

When I wrote Stones Cry Out, I wanted it to be one of our FREE books so everyone would have it. It is more of an encyclopedia than a book to read. It will be your quick resource book; you will have access to every question about any calendar, how it got started, and who started it. You will also learn the history of how the Mishnah was assembled, when it was assembled and why. Then, you will learn how that information was transferred into both the Jerusalem and the Babylonian Talmud until it reached its final stage in the Mishneh Torah. Along with this progression, the calendar also progressed and changed long after 358 C.E. when Rabbi Hillel first published it. But…what was before the Hillel calendar? What does the Mishnah record about those things?

The Stones Cry Out was originally going to be one book explaining all the various proofs we have discovered, demonstrating when the Sabbatical and Jubilee years are throughout history.

You can know; it is not a mystery.

As I began to write The Stones Cry Out, I quickly found myself going back, time and time again, to explain how the calendar is behind the confusion of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. The Rabbis, as they began to write the Mishnah, incorporated wrong understandings, and those errors were written into what became known as the Talmud and then the Mishneh Torah. The expulsion from the land and subsequent persecutions in trying to send out messengers to report the barley being found or the crescent moon being seen, proved to be more and more dangerous over time. All of these things took place over 14 centuries.

Then as I was working on The Stones Cry Out, I discovered that many people were now accepting the Zadok calendar as factual. This is when we pivoted to include all the details of the various calendars that have crept back into public knowledge today and are being used to mislead new people who are just starting to learn about the calendar. All of this was directly connected to the period starting with the Hasmonaeans, up to the destruction of the Temple. Then, with the compiling of the Mishnah, the studies that led into the writing of the Jerusalem Talmud, then the Babylonian Talmud and finally the Mishneh Torah, each error that was added is compounded over time.

The Stones Cry Out, Part 1 explains the history of how each compilation of the Oral Torah incorporated errors, leading the followers thereof away from the actual Torah. In understanding these facts, it is then possible to understand more readily how the Sabbatical and Jubilee years were then mixed and later changed. By explaining all this history, I will be able to help you the reader understand the tombstones when most authorities do not. They have assumed, to their error, the Hillel calendar to have always been in use since Mount Sinai. Not understanding the history of the calendars is why most authorities dismiss the tombstones as too confusing to use. Once you understand The Stones Cry Out Part 1, Part 2 will be very easy to grasp.

Daniel 7:25 tells us he will change the appointed seasons and commandments. Many assume Constantine did this when he made Sunday the Sabbath. Few have considered the calendar’s many changes and how they relate to us today. Hidden in this proverbial swamp of confusion is the truth about the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. The Sabbatical and Jubilee years reveal the truths about the calendar that have been hidden for almost 2000 years.

We are in the very last days and Yehshua warned us that during this time:

Mat 24:10 And then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.

Mat 24:11 And many false prophets will rise and deceive many.

Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will become cold.

Mat 24:13 But he who endures to the end, the same shall be kept safe.

Paul also warned Timothy about these last days, warning that some would leave the truth and begin to follow demonic teachers:

1Ti 4:1 But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons,

Paul again warned the Thessalonians that the Great Falling away would take place in the last days. How can you fall away if you have never come to know the truth? So who is Paul talking to? Those who are called and answer that calling begin to walk this road of restoration back to Yehovah, and then at some point along that walk, they change and leave this walk following the teachings of demons to false calendar.

2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, my brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,

2Th 2:2 that you should not be soon shaken in mind or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word or letter, as through us, as if the Day of Christ is at hand.

2Th 2:3 Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition,

2Th 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself forth, that he is God.

We must endure until the end. We must not let ourselves become offended by personalities and leave the faith once given.

Join Our Sabbath Meetings

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and you and I are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s, Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers, songs and teaching from this hour.

Shabbat midrash will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

It Was A Riddle Not A Command

It Was A Riddle Not A Command

Listen to this Podcast discussing one of Joseph’s most popular books.

You Can Learn the Secret Meaning of:

No One Knows the Day of the Hour

Why does no One Know When Jesus was born?

When Does the Thief in the Night Come?

Why Are the Foolish Virgins Rejected?

No One Knows The Day or The Hour is a Hebrew idiom or parable.

Jesus spoke in parables to conceal His message which He later explained to the Apostles.

No One Knows The Day or the Hour is telling you the very day He will come back on!

The exact opposite to what you thought it said!

This is the very same day when He first came.

The Book of Revelation Tells you the very day and hour He was born.

You are given clues in Revelation about the thief that comes in the night, about being caught naked and ashamed. All of these clues tell you about the very day He is coming back.

Paul wrote to the Thessalonians telling them they had no need to write them about the Day of the Lord

FOR THEY KNEW FULL WELL THE MOEDIM!!!

Knowing the Moedim shows you the Day and Hour No Man Can Know.

We are also told about the Two Witnesses in the Book of Revelation…
What revelations do the Two Witnesses show you about the birth of Jesus?

There was a heavenly Host praising God when Jesus was born.
This, too, tells you the Day He was born.

Are you aware that the 5 Foolish Virgins did not understand what the Thief in the Night was?
Do You?

All these questions and so much more are explained in detail.
It was a Riddle for us to figure out.
It was not a command that we could not know.
We can KNOW.
YOU Can Know!

Thoroughly researched and profoundly significant!

5.0 out of 5 stars

There just isn’t a better book on Christian prophecy than this! What an eye opener!

Of the many books and articles that I have read on prophecy in my personal search for truth, this is the only one that does not rely on old ideas that were developed hundreds of years ago when knowledge was minimal. So much more has been learned through historical and archeological research. The world has changed so much that before now no one could have clearly envisioned how prophecy might play out.

I think the average Christian doesn’t realize that recent developments in technology and huge increases in knowledge offer us a unique opportunity to raise the veil so that we might see clearly what was once hidden behind a dark glass.

After learning about these things and seriously considering the Bible, with a willingness to set aside my traditional beliefs about prophecy, I have come to the conclusion that this book is inspired by God. Mr. Dumond presents compelling information that overturns long held assumptions and unverified beliefs making the entire body of prophetic knowledge fully accessible. As a matter of fact I think that just about anyone with no previous knowledge of the Bible would understand things that scholars have devoted their lives to explaining.

I would like everyone to know what is being shown in the pages of this book. No serious truth seeker should pass up the opportunity to have their eyes opened through its revelations. I believe it is the most important book ever written,- next to the Bible itself.

Thank you Joseph Dumond.

New Moon of the 8th Month

New Moon of the 8th Month

We are expecting the 8th month to begin after having a 30-day 7th month and not 29. But that remains to be seen or not seen in this case.

Above, that is what the moon looks like on Monday evening, the 30th day of this 7th month. The moon will be too low on the horizon to see. That is what the circle represents. The conjunction will be on Sunday for those on the Hillel calendar.

Here is what the moon will look like the next day, on Tuesday evening. But this is already a 30-day month. Even if the moon is not visible on September 22 due to its difficult visibility, the new month, the 8th, begins on Tuesday evening and continues through the Wednesday day. There are no 31-day months.

September 23-24, 2025 Rapture

Last week we wrote you about the Rapture that was to happen on the Feast of Trumpets according to the Hillel Calendar. Looks like we all got left behind. Get our book The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture to learn exactly when Leviticus 23 tells you it is.  There should not be any guessing. But when people do not keep the Holy Days, all they can do is guess.

September 23-24, 2025 Rapture.

Internet Buzz on the Rapture on September 23, 2025

Discussions about the Rapture occurring on September 23, 2025 (or sometimes September 24), have gone viral across social media, YouTube, Reddit, and news outlets, often tied to the Jewish Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah). Proponents cite a mix of biblical day-counts, prophetic signs, dreams, visions, astronomical events, and current world events, like a UN peace and security meeting, as evidence.

Pastor Joshua Mhlakela is the South African pastor who claimed to have received a divine vision in which Jesus revealed He would return to Earth on September 23-24, 2025. He shared this prophecy in a viral YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSfKjB9xkPM) and interviews, stating that the date aligns with Rosh Hashanah (the Feast of Trumpets) and urging believers to prepare for the rapture, as “it is upon us, whether you are ready or not.”

This pastor’s viral vision claiming Jesus’ return on this date has fueled much of the hype, with some linking it to Revelation’s prophecies and even New Age or “reverse rapture” ideas where evil entities are removed instead. On platforms like X (formerly Twitter), users share memes, excitement, and countdowns, with accounts dedicated to promoting the date through gematria (e.g., Hebrew for Feast of Trumpets equaling 923) and songs like Sammy Hagar’s “Crack in the World.”

In the context of online discussions about a potential rapture on September 23, 2025, some proponents are using numerological and cultural “signs” to build hype and convince others that the date is prophetically significant. I’ll break down the two examples you referenced step by step.

Gematria and the “Feast of Trumpets” Equaling 923

Gematria is a traditional Jewish numerology system where each letter in the Hebrew alphabet is assigned a numerical value, and words or phrases can be calculated to produce a total number. This is often used in mystical or interpretive contexts to find hidden meanings in biblical texts or events.

In this case, advocates claim that the Hebrew phrase for “Feast of Trumpets” (which refers to the biblical holy day known as Yom Teruah or Rosh Hashanah, described in Leviticus 23:23-25 and associated with trumpet blasts symbolizing awakening, judgment, or gathering) adds up to 923 in gematria. They interpret this as a direct pointer to September 23 (9/23), especially since the Feast of Trumpets in 2025 falls around September 22-24 on the Gregorian calendar. This is promoted as evidence that the rapture (the event where believers are caught up to meet Christ, as in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) will occur on that date, aligning with the feast’s themes of trumpets and divine intervention. For instance, it’s often linked to 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 (which mentions the “day of the Lord” coming like a thief), noting that the verse numbers end in “23” as another numerical clue. This idea appears frequently in social media posts, videos, and forums, where users share calculations and memes to “prove” the connection. Critics, however, dismiss it as speculative date-setting that ignores biblical warnings like Matthew 24:36 about not knowing the exact timing.

Don’t fall for false teachings that use Gregorian dates to interpret Hebraic. It is not 9/23, it is the 1st of the 7th month using the Hillel calendar, and it is the 1st of the 8th month if you use the Crescent moon and barley to begin the year. There is also a solar eclipse on the 23rd of September as well, adding even more hyperbole to the false understanding of those who do not and will not keep Torah. Don’t you be one of them.

Sammy Hagar’s Song “Crack in the World”

This refers to a 1977 song by rock musician Sammy Hagar (best known as the former lead singer of Van Halen) from his self-titled solo album, also called “The Red Album.” The lyrics include lines like: “Cause things will start separating come 2025 / So look for the subtle clues / Front page news / Depends on the side that you choose / There’s a crack in the world.” Rapture enthusiasts interpret this as a “prophetic” or “hidden” message about a global division or separation event in 2025—possibly the rapture itself, where the righteous are separated from the wicked (echoing themes in Matthew 25 or Revelation). They point out that Hagar wrote it nearly 50 years ago, yet it specifically mentions “2025,” which they see as too coincidental to ignore, especially alongside other signs like the gematria above. Some even speculate about Hagar’s own claims of alien abductions or spiritual experiences influencing the lyrics, tying it to end-times conspiracies. This is shared in videos, reels, and posts, often with clips of the song overlaid on rapture graphics, and frequently combined with the gematria point in repetitive messages from accounts on X. Skeptics view it as cherry-picking or pareidolia (seeing patterns where none exist), noting that the song’s original context was likely about social or environmental issues, not biblical prophecy.

Overall, these elements are part of a broader pattern in the online buzz, where people blend numerology, pop culture, and scripture to “confirm” the date, creating viral excitement but also drawing criticism for being unbiblical or speculative.

However, there’s significant skepticism and criticism: many Christians argue it violates Matthew 24:36 (“no one knows the day or hour”), label it as date-setting or a “cult,” and predict disappointment when it doesn’t happen, similar to past failed prophecies. Reactions range from eager anticipation (“I’m ready to go home”) to outright mockery, with some shocked if it fails and others dismissing it as delusional. Overall, it’s a polarizing topic, blending hope, fear, and debate, but not universally accepted among believers.

The Teaching from Sightedmoon.com on the Rapture

According to teachings on sightedmoon.com, the Rapture—specifically the resurrection and gathering of the 144,000 saints—will occur on Shavuot (Pentecost) in 2033, not on dates like September 23, 2025. This is based on Leviticus 23, which outlines the Holy Days, including Shavuot as the Feast of Weeks (Leviticus 23:15-21), where the counting of 50 days from the Wave Sheaf Offering culminates in an offering of firstfruits wheat, symbolizing the resurrection of the saints as “firstfruits” (1 Corinthians 15:20-23). The site uses Jubilee cycles (49-year periods from Leviticus 25) to map prophetic timelines, placing 2033 as the final year of the Great Tribulation, with Shavuot marking the rapture of those who have endured (Revelation 7:9-17, where the 144,000 come out of the tribulation). This includes the raising of King David. Unlike pre-tribulation views (common in September 23 predictions), sightedmoon.com teaches a post-tribulation rapture: believers must obey Yehovah’s commandments, keep the Sabbath and Holy Days, and endure trials, receiving the Holy Spirit as “oil” for readiness (Matthew 25:1-13). The Tribulation ends on the Day of Atonement 2033, with Shavuot as the time of transformation “in the twinkling of an eye” (1 Corinthians 15:51-52), fulfilling the wedding consummation narrative. This contrasts sharply with 2025 claims, emphasizing proven Jubilee math over visions or date-setting. Additionally, the common criticism based on Matthew 24:36 (“no one knows the day or hour”) stems from a misunderstanding; sightedmoon.com teaches this is a Hebrew idiom and riddle, not a command prohibiting knowledge of end-times timing. Yehshua spoke in parables to reveal truths to the wise while hiding them from the foolish, and this phrase points to the timing being knowable through obedience and study of the feasts.

Recommendation to Explore Further

To dive deeper into these timelines and why Shavuot 2033 aligns with Scripture, I encourage you to get “The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033” by Joseph F. Dumond. It’s available on Amazon or directly from sightedmoon.com, where you can also access free resources to verify the Jubilee cycles and Holy Days for yourself. This book uses biblical proofs to clarify end-times events and prepare readers through obedience. For a thorough explanation of the Hebrew idiom “no man knows the day or the hour” as a riddle rather than a command, check out “It Was a Riddle Not a Command” by the same author, which reveals how Yehshua’s parables disclose the timing to those who seek wisely. That book can also be bought at Amazon or sightedmoon.com.

Why Are We Keeping The Feasts A Month Ahead of Everyone Else?

Why Are We Keeping The Feast A Month Ahead of Everyone Else?

We are in the 40 days of repentance leading up to the Day of Atonement when the books are closed. If your name is not found in that book, then you will not be in the Kingdom. Many people are unaware of the significance of the Feast Days. They are found in Leviticus 23, and they are for all mankind. They are not just for the Jews.

Exo 12:49 There shall be one law to the native, and to the visitor that stays among you.

Lev 24:22 One judgment shall be for you whether an alien or a native; for I am Jehovah your God.

Num 9:14 And if a stranger shall live among you, and prepares the Passover to Jehovah, he shall do according to the ordinance of the Passover, and according to its ordinance. You shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger and for him that was born in the land.

Num 15:15 One ordinance for you of the congregation and also for the stranger that resides with you, an ordinance forever in your generations. As you are, so the stranger shall be before Jehovah.

Num 15:16 One law and one way shall be for you and for the stranger that lives with you.

In the Kingdom of God, there will be one law. The same law that has always been. It is and has always been men who have changed Yehovah’s laws.

Mal 3:6 For I am Jehovah, I change not. Because of this you sons of Jacob are not destroyed.

Mal 3:7 From the days of your fathers, you have turned aside from My statutes, and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you, says Jehovah of Hosts. But you say. In what way shall we return?

The current Hillel calendar came to be created in the year 358 C.E. But on the Tombstone of Zoar they did not begin to implement it until 432 and 444 C.E. Those are the earliest dates I can find where they changed record keeping from Aviv to Tishri to begin the year and from using the crescent moon to begin the month to using the conjunction moon. We have recorded this in our books, The Stone Cry Out, Part One and Two. You can get your free copies at https://sightedmoon.com/the-stones-cry-out-lp/. Just click on the link, fill in the form, and start reading right away.

At Sightedmoon.com, we have learned when each calendar came into creation. We have documented those dates in The Stone Cry Out books. The Enoch, Zadok, Dead Sea Scrolls, and the Book of Jubilee Calendars all can be easily proven false, and we show you how to do that in The Stones Cry Out.

This week, I am showing you the calendar Yehovah uses. The same one that the Mishnah records was being used before the Temple was destroyed. The Mishnah was the first book written to record the ceremonies that took place at the temple. They wanted a record because they feared they would not be going back for many years. Rabbi Akiva began this collection before 135 C.E., when he was killed at the end of the Bar Kochba Revolt. That was 65 years after the Temple was destroyed. Rabbi Yehuda then redacted his notes and created the Mishnah in 180 C.E., 110 years after the temple was destroyed and 150 years after Yehshua was killed.

You can read about the Barley ceremony at this link from the Mishnah and this one as well. You can read about the First Fruits of Wheat and then the first fruits of wine, figs, pomegranates, dates and olives at this link.  Yes, I am giving you the links so you can look them up yourselves. The first fruits of each species was given at a specific time of year. Barley was given on Wave Sheaf Day during the 7 Days of Unleavened Bread. This was the first Chag or going up to the Temple. The second Chag was Shavuot, when the first fruits of wheat made into two loaves were offered up. The third Chag was at Sukkot when the first fruits of wine, along with the figs, pomegranates, dates and olives were offered.

None of these first fruits depended on the equinox. They were entirely dependent on Yehovah’s decision to make them ripe, which could be achieved by sending the rains or stopping them. In the video you are about to watch, you will hear the witnesses testify how the drought made the crops ripen earlier. Yes, Yehovah did that. But you will also hear how none of them changed their position to come alongside Yehovah once they saw the evidence.

We are now in the final 10 years of awe leading up to the time Satan will be locked away at Atonement in 2033. We, as the bride, must be making ourselves white and being spotless. This means perfecting our walk and not remaining the same for convenience’s sake. But when we see errors, we change and repent.

I pray that each of you watches this video and then shares it each day on your social platforms until the Feast of Trumpets comes, and we then know when the fall feast days are. You can find them on our website at Sightedmoon.com.

The Yoreh Rains Arrive:

Record-Breaking Rainfall in Israel Signals Blessings for the Coming Season

Brethren, as the prophetic clock ticks onward in these last days, we behold Yehovah’s hand moving mightily over the Land of Israel. Just ten days after we faithfully observed the Feast of Sukkot from September 8 to 14, culminating in Shemini Atzeret on September 15, 2025, in accordance with His appointed times in Leviticus 23, the skies have rent open with the first mighty rains of the season. This unprecedented deluge, shattering records nearly a century old, heralds the biblical Yoreh rains—the early showers that awaken the earth for sowing and signal Yehovah’s favour upon those who heed His calendar. In this prophetic update, we delve into the meaning of the Yoreh rains, recount today’s rainfall across the regions, recite the ancient Geshem prayer, and reveal its profound implications for the barley reaching Aviv. Moreover, we expose the divergence in calendar reckonings, as the rains confirm our sighted moon determination, arriving a month prematurely according to the Hillel calendar and those aligned with it. As the end times unfold, these signs urge us to watch and prepare, for Yehovah’s judgments and blessings are at hand.

Understanding the Yoreh Rains in Israel

In the sacred Land of Israel, the seasons are not as the nations divide them into four seasons, but as Yehovah has ordained: only two distinct periods—summer and winter. As expounded in an article on SightedMoon.com titled “The Two Seasons of Israel,” the Scriptures reveal no mention of spring or fall, but rather a dry summer of harvest and a wet winter of rains and growth. Quoting from the site: “The Bible speaks of only two seasons: summer and winter. Summer is the time of harvest, and winter is the time of rain and planting. This aligns with:

Genesis 8:22: ‘While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.'”

This binary cycle underscores Israel’s dependence on Yehovah’s rains, with the Yoreh marking the transition from summer’s dryness to winter’s renewal.

The term “Yoreh” derives from the Hebrew root yarah, signifying “to shoot” like arrows or “to teach,” as the rains instruct the people to ready their fields and homes. In Deuteronomy 11:14 (MKJV), Yehovah promises:

Deuteronomy 11:14 “I will give the rain of your land in its due season, the former rain [Yoreh] and the latter rain [Malkosh], that you may gather in your grain and your wine and your oil.”

These Yoreh rains, typically commencing in the 8th month, soften the hardened soil for plowing and seeding winter crops such as barley and wheat. They are gentler and intermittent compared to the Malkosh, yet without them, the land languishes in drought—a prophetic warning of Yehovah’s withholding for disobedience.

Prophetically, these rains echo Yehovah’s covenant faithfulness. In Joel 2:23 (MKJV), we read:

Joel 2:23 “Be glad then, sons of Zion, and rejoice in Yehovah your God. For He has given you the former rain according to righteousness, and He will cause the rain to come down for you, the former rain and the latter rain in the first month.”

And Zechariah 10:1 (MKJV) exhorts:

Zechariah 10:1 “Ask rain from Yehovah in the time of the latter rain. Yehovah shall make storm clouds, and He gives them showers of rain, grass to everyone in the field.”

These verses foretell restoration and abundance for the obedient remnant, pointing to the ultimate outpouring of Yehovah’s Spirit in the last days.

Historically, the Yoreh follows Sukkot, when Israel prays for rain on Shemini Atzeret through the Geshem prayer. Let us recite this ancient piyyut, invoking Yehovah’s mercy:

“Yehovah is designated the ruler of rain;

He commissions clouds from the ends of the earth;

Lightning and windstorms he makes;

His thoughts bring condensation and droplets;

For the benefit of His land and all His creatures,

He commands the clouds to perform their task.

Remember Abraham whose righteousness flowed like water…

For Abraham’s sake, grant an abundance of water.

Remember Isaac, who was bound like water poured on the altar…

For Isaac’s sake, bless us with dew.

Remember Jacob, who crossed the Jordan on his staff…

For Jacob’s sake, do not keep back water.

Remember Moses in his basket of reeds drawn from the Nile…

For Moses’ sake, provide water as a teacher of righteousness.

Remember the Twelve Tribes who crossed the Straits…

For their sake, provide water to those who thirst for You.

For You are Yehovah our God

Who causes the wind to blow and the rain to fall.

For blessing and not for curse. Amen.

For life and not for death. Amen.

For plenty and not for famine. Amen.”

This prayer, chanted with fervor, acknowledges Yehovah as the sovereign over the elements, tying rain to the merits of the patriarchs and our covenant walk.

Today’s Rainfall in Israel: Amounts and Regions Affected

On this prophetic day, September 25, 2025, Yehovah has unleashed a torrent upon Israel, inaugurating the rainy season with force and breaking 93-year-old September records. The Israel Meteorological Service reports heavy downpours concentrated in the north, with echoes in central areas.

  • Northern Israel (Galilee and Coastal Plain): Nahariya received over 130 mm (5.1 inches), while Shavei Zion exceeded 125 mm (4.9 inches), surpassing the 1932 record. Flooding gripped lowlands near Acre and the Western Galilee, with widespread totals over 100 mm.
  • Central Israel (Jerusalem and Tel Aviv): 20-50 mm fell, adding to early seasonal accumulations.
  • Southern Israel (Negev): Sparse or absent, as the storm favored the north.

This early intensity portends a bountiful winter, replenishing reservoirs in Israel’s varying climate—abundant in the north (500-700 mm annually) but scarce in the Negev (<100 mm).

The Significance for the Barley Being Aviv—and When

Now, brethren, let’s connect this to the heart of our calendar observance: the Aviv barley. As detailed in Exodus 12:2 and Leviticus 23:10-14, the biblical year begins in the month of Aviv (or Abib), when the barley crop in Israel reaches a stage of ripeness suitable for the Wave Sheaf Offering during Unleavened Bread. “Aviv” means “green ears” or “tender,” indicating barley that’s mature enough to be parched by fire but not fully ripe—typically inspected in late February to March.

The Yoreh rains play a pivotal role here. These early showers, arriving after Sukkot, moisten the soil for farmers to plant barley in October-November. Without them, seeds struggle to germinate, delaying growth and potentially pushing the Aviv stage later into spring. Conversely, timely—or in this case, early—Yoreh rains like today’s record event allow for prompt sowing, fostering robust development through winter. This could lead to an earlier Aviv declaration in March 2026, aligning the next year’s Holy Days accordingly.

Why is today’s rain especially significant? We at SightedMoon.com kept Sukkot and Shemini Atzeret early this year (September 8-15), based on the sighted new moon and prior Aviv reports, heeding Yehovah’s command to observe the feasts in their appointed times. Scripture ties rain to obedience (Deuteronomy 28:12), and the arrival of these rains just after our assembly echoes the ancient call to pray for rain on Shemini Atzeret. It’s as if Yah is affirming our calendar: the dry season has ended, and blessings are pouring forth to prepare the land for the barley that will herald the 2026 biblical year.

In past years, such as the 2025 Aviv inspections in March, barley conditions varied by region—warmer areas like the Jordan Valley ripening first. With this early Yoreh, we anticipate strong growth, potentially allowing Aviv by mid-March 2026, setting Passover around April. This underscores the importance of watching the Land: as the rains fall, so does the cycle of restoration continue.

Brethren, let this rain remind us of Yah’s faithfulness. As Hosea 6:3 declares, “He shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.” Stay vigilant, keep the feasts, and watch for the signs in the barley fields. For updates on sightings and reports, visit SightedMoon.com.

Shalom, and may the rains bring abundance.

Brethren, these rains are no mere weather event; they are a divine proclamation, aligning with Yehovah’s prophetic timeline. The Aviv barley inspections, crucial for determining the biblical year’s start:

Exodus 12:2, MKJV: “This month shall be to you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year to you”

Involve meticulous searches in key regions like the Jordan Valley, Jezreel Valley, and coastal plains. Inspectors examine barley for the “Aviv” stage—green, tender ears that can be parched but not yet brittle. This typically occurs in late February to March, with warmer lowlands ripening first. Multiple witnesses confirm fields with sufficient Aviv barley for the Wave Sheaf Offering (Leviticus 23:10-14), ensuring no famine or delay.

Leviticus 2:14, MKJV: “And if you offer a food offering of your firstfruits to Yehovah, green ears roasted by fire, grains of a garden, you shall offer as the food offering of your firstfruits”

The Yoreh rains initiate this cycle by enabling October-November planting. Today’s early Yoreh prophesies robust growth, potentially advancing Aviv and Passover, to early to mid-March 2026. Yet, the Malkosh rains hold equal prophetic weight—the latter showers of February-March that swell the grains for harvest. As Joel 2:23 foretells, they ensure ripeness, symbolizing Yehovah’s full blessing and the spiritual latter rain of revival before the great and terrible Day of Yehovah (Joel 2:31).

In 2025, Yoel Halevi of Hebrew in Israel, reported the barley shattered throughout the Jordan Valley on March 30, indicating it was overripe and should have been harvested 2 weeks prior. Devorah of Devorah’s Date Tree noted Aviv and shattering barley on March 17. Becca Biderman of Ancient Path New Moon confirmed the barley was Aviv and shattering on March 18. Yet, none altered their testimony to declare the first month accordingly; instead, they aligned with the Hillel calendar, commencing Nisan around April 2025. Now, these Yoreh rains arrive precisely on time per our sightedmoon.com reckoning—post-Shemini Atzeret (September 15, 2025—while deeming a month too soon for the Hillel adherents who are starting Sukkot about October 6, 2026. This divergence warns of deception in these end times; Yehovah affirms the true calendar through His signs

Genesis 1:14, MKJV: “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide between the day and the night. And let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years”.

As Hosea 6:3 (MKJV) prophesies:

Hosea 6:3 “Then we shall know, if we follow on to know Yehovah. His going out is prepared as the morning; and He shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain to the earth.”

Brethren, these showers herald judgment and mercy—repent, align with Yehovah’s times, and watch the barley fields for the coming year. For sightings and prophetic insights, stay tuned to SightedMoon.com.

Shalom, and may Yehovah’s rains usher in the final harvest.
