The Sabbath Door

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,

It has been a year since I was looking for the abomination in Israel in 2023. It was set up on October 6 over the DJ tent at the Rave just outside Beri near Gaza. We were there when the raid began Oct 7, 2023, with 2000 rockets sent from Gaza, some of which were exploding overhead in Jerusalem, where I was.

This week we saw Israel go on the offensive in Lebanon, with the pager explosions followed by the walky talky explosions the next day. Blinding, crippling and killing the enemy before any ground maneuvers begin. Now, Hezbollah will be looking behind every rock and electronic device with fear and now they must resort to carrier pigeons to send messages. It has been quite the week. I hope you are following us on Telegram @sightedmoonchannel. There is far too much information I post there that I cannot post on Facebook or YouTube, and much of it will not make it into the Newsletter. So please join us and keep up with world events related to endtime prophecy.

I want to introduce you to our newest book this week, which we are giving away. All you have to do is complete the form to access the book. I hope you also share it with your church fellowship, brethren, Bible study groups, and family. You can share this one with everyone. It is a two-part series, and I am well on my way to completing the second part.

I also want to announce to you all that we have some audiobooks available in our store so that you can listen to those audiobooks while you walk or drive to and from work. We are in the process of having three more of the books turned into audiobooks as I write. This is a very costly adventure, so I hope you appreciate the work we are trying to do for you. There is more coming soon.

We are also announcing that we have been accepted to display our Jubilee Charts at the NRB Conference in Texas this February 2025. This will cost us approximately $20,000-$25,000 all in. It is an excellent opportunity to get our message in front of many media outlets simultaneously. By not going, we will reach none of them. By showing up and presenting our story, we hope to reach those Yehovah will direct to us. We aim to reach many of the Christian Radio Podcasts and TV themselves at this conference. I am asking for your support and your prayers that Yehovah open the doors wide for us to go through. This is what we have asked Yehovah in order to know if this is the way we are to go. Thus far He has opened the doors and we are walking through. Please do keep this in your prayers. Who we are to meet and who Yehovah wants us to show this message to. This is going to be a very big deal. We do need your prayers in this.

This week we are going to talk about the Door that is guarding the way into the Kingdom and how you can on the right side of the Door. I hope it blesses you,

Join Our Sabbath Meetings

Join Our Sabbath Meetings

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers songs and teaching from this hour.

Shabbat Services will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

The Unholy Woman of Zechariah

The Unholy Woman of Zechariah

Zechariah 5
I, Zechariah, looked up and saw a flying scroll in the sky. 2 And the angel that was showing me these things said, “What do you see?” I answered, “I see a flying scroll; 34.3 feet long, and 5.5 feet in diameter.” 3 Then he said, “This is the curse that will afflict the entire land of Israel. Every one that steals and every one that swears falsely by my name will be destroyed by it. 4And I will bring it forth, says YHWH T’zavaot. This flying scroll that you see, will completely consume the timbers and stones of the house of the thief, and he that swears falsely by my name.”

5 Then the angel said, “Look up and see what this flying scroll is.” 6 And I responded, “What is it?” And he said, “This is a container that flies.” He said, “Furthermore, this is their appearance throughout the whole earth.” 7 Then I saw a mass of lead and a fire offering, as it was lifted up and secured in the container. 8 And he said, “The fire that you see being put in the container, is an evil fire offering.” Then he secured the fire offering in the container and put the lead mass in the opening.

9 Then I looked up and saw as two fires came out of the container, and the fires caused the wind to lift the container by its ‘stork like’ wings, from the earth into the sky. 10 Then I asked the angel, “Where are they taking the container?” 11 And he said, “To establish a base for it, and set it up in the land of Shinar (which is modern day Iraq).”

(Zechariah 6) Then I turned and saw four war chariots coming out from between two man-made mountains. 2 With the first war chariot there were red horses; with the second chariot black horses; 3 with the third chariot white horses; and with the fourth chariot salt-and-pepper and strong colored horses. 4 Then I asked, “What are these, my lord?” 5 And the angel answered, “These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go out from standing before the lord of all the earth. 7 They desired to be released to roam throughout the earth, so the angel said, “Go, and roam the earth.” So they did. 6 The black horses went into the north country; and the white went after them; and the salt-and-pepper and strong colored horses went toward the south country.” 8 Then he cried out to me saying, “Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.”

Michael Rood explains this passage of scriptures with convincing style.

“What is the situation with the woman who is so evil that they put her in a basket with a lead lid on it?”

Historically, we know that many of the “writings” of the prophets were done by the scribes of the Sanhedrin, the ruling elders of Israel. We do not know for certain whether the Tekoan shepherd, Amos, knew how to read or write. But we do know that he received revelation and went up to Jerusalem and appeared before the elders with the proclamation, “Thus saith YHWH.” His revelation was written down by the Temple scribes. When the words of Amos came to pass, his words were preserved as the Word of Yehovah. The opening of the scroll of Amos reads:

The words of Amos, who was among the herdsmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel two years before the earthquake.
How do we know that Amos spoke these words two years before the earthquake? Because it was formally recorded in Israel’s records after the earthquake took place. Amos may have given the coming earthquake as a sign that his words were from Yehovah we don’t know. Not everything that Amos said was written – just the specifics of the revelation. A prophet could be considered a nut case until his prophecy came to pass. The scribes of the Sanhedrin accurately recorded Isaiah’s words, but that didn’t account for much in his day. The political and religious world hated his words so intensely that they took him outside the city walls of Jerusalem and ripped his living body in half with a rusty lumberjack saw. But when his words came to pass, they all knew that a prophet had been in their midst. His words are still preserved for us today.

Zechariah spoke things contrary to political and religious correctness and they took him out of the city and crushed his skull with a huge rock. But when the smoke of God’s judgment cleared, they knew a prophet had been in their midst. We have the words of men who we call prophets because scribes wrote down their unwelcome words and kept them safely until they were either confirmed or refuted by reality. When these men were threatened with death, they refused to recant. The prophets’ words for their day and time were precisely fulfilled, and their revelation of things concerning the last days is just as sure.

Zechariah may have appeared before the Sanhedrin several times with a revelation from the Almighty. His words are not recorded in a time-blocked sequence of events. There may have been years between his appearances before the elders of Israel. But one thing is certain; when they had heard enough, they killed him. Zechariah speaks of a great war in the last days. A war in which the nations of the Earth will begin to shake uncontrollably over the events that are about to transpire. Israel will be brought to the brink of destruction. There will appear to be no hope for the salvation of the nation. But at the last dying gasp, the Almighty will reveal his hand from the heavens and fight for Israel. All of the nations of the world will know that He has delivered His people from destruction and they will know that Yehovah is the Elohim of Israel.

Before that day comes, there will be a progression of events that will bring the players into the battle theatre. Zechariah saw a vision, a revelation that has not had an historical context until just this year. In chapter five, verse one, in King James of England’s authorized version of the translation of the Hebrew

Scriptures we read:

Zech 5:1 Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying (sc)roll.

The word ‘roll’ was from the Hebrew word “megillah” and it is. A megillah is a singular scroll ‘such as the megillah of Esther. It is a small volume and does not require megillot’ two scrolls, which are necessary for a larger volume, such as the Torah. We have a long history of what a scroll looks like. It is a cylinder that is several times longer than its diameter. It has neither a chocolate frosting or a salmon and cream cheese filling, it is just a cylinder that is doing something very unusual to Zechariah’s way of thinking, 2,500 years before airplanes were invented, it is flying. Let’s watch the picture develop.

2 And he said unto me, “What seest thou?” I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. KJV

My translation:

2 And the angel that was showing me these things said,
What do you see? I see a flying scroll in the sky; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. KJV
The cubit used in the land of Israel through the time of Solomon is the measurement commonly referred to as “the royal Egyptian cubit” which is 20.62 British inches. The intact gates of Gezer and Beth-Horon measure out to the perfect 20.62 inch cubit. This measurement may more properly be referred to as “the sacred cubit” as it was used in the building of the Great Pyramid of Giza
The 20 cubit length of this megillah is twice the 10 breadth, which would make this look more like a soup can, than a scroll. But if the 10 cubit breadth is describing the circumference, such as the 12 cubit circumference of the brazen pillars of Solomon’s Temple – then we have the dimensions of a traditional megillah. Translating these dimensions into a standard measurement for the United States:
I see a flying scroll; 34.3 feet long, and 5.5 feet in diameter.
I have seen many a flying scroll with these dimensions. Let’s go on;

3 Then said he unto me, this is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth. KJV

The term “earth” is usually from “eretz”, which can and often does refer only to eretz Israel, the land of Israel. Context alone determines its usage, and sometimes the context is indecisive. I rendered it;

3 Then he said, “This flying scroll is the curse that will afflict the entire land of Israel.

Then the angel qualifies the reason for its existence;
Everyone that steals and every one that swears falsely by my name will be destroyed by it.
4 And I will bring it forth, says YHWH Tzavaot.
Those who carry the name of the Holy One of Israel for their own personal glory and agenda, those who say that they speak for the Almighty but only speak their own desires, are swearing falsely in His name. Those who say, “the Lord told me” and the LORD never told them anything, those are the individuals who will be destroyed by this curse that will inflict at least the entire land of Israel, and perhaps on a global scale. The prophet Jeremiah speaks of false prophets who steal God’s words “one from another.” They say they have a word from the Lord, but it is the same word that the false prophet who heads their denomination has been mouthing for the last 60 years. Those who steal and swear falsely in His name will be destroyed by this flying scroll that will afflict the entire land, and Yehovah will bring it forth.

This flying scroll that you see, will completely consume the timbers and stones of the house of the thief, and he that swears falsely by my name.”
This is one bad megillah! Any idea of what kind of flying scroll might have that kind of destructive capacity in our day and time?

5 Then the angel said, “Look up and see what this flying scroll is.” 6 And I responded, “What is it?” MIV

This is a treasure. The angel is actually going to give us more detail about this destructive device.

And he said, “This is an ephah that goeth forth.” He said moreover, “This is their resemblance through all the earth.” 7 And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah. KJV

Aha! This is where we got the picture of a woman in a basket, from an English translation of ephah. When we measure out an ephah of corn at the market, we use a basket that will contain an ephah measure of product. We know what a peck of apples looks like – whether it is in the old wooden basket with wire handles, or in a white paper sack with nylon handles. A peck, like an ephah, is a measurement, it is a container. But this is a container that flies! It is a flying container that is 34.3 feet long and it is 5.5 feet in diameter and it is going to destroy all of those who are outside of God’s will in the land of Israel. The angel said furthermore, these destructive devices all look the same, everywhere on the face of the earth.

7 And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah. 8 And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. KJV

Aha! Aha! Here is the woman who is so evil that they put her in a basket with a lead lid on it, and here is the answer.
I am going to replace the word “woman” with the word “fire.”
“OK, let’s find out what it says in Hebrew.
“It is the word “aisha.”
“It is a fire offering!”

“Aisha – fire offering” and “sha – woman” are the same consonants in Hebrew – the context determines the meaning. The Karaites in the Middle Ages, who developed the Masoretic text, used the vowel point that interpreted this word as “woman” because they, too, had no idea of its prophetic significance. A fire offering in a flying container that incinerates buildings throughout Israel did not make any sense a thousand years ago, but neither did an evil woman in a lead-lidded basket! For over 1,000 years, every translation of the Hebrew Scriptures on the planet has been derived from the same Karaite Masorah, with the same dot under the Aleph, a dot that did not exist in the original text. From that same text, every translation in every language has been resultant.

For centuries, men had followed each other’s translations and completely missed the point of Zechariah’s vision.
The Word still goes forth from Zion.

7 Then I saw a mass of lead and a fire offering, as it was lifted up and secured in the container. 8 And he said, “This fire that you see being put in the container, is an evil fire offering.” Then he secured the fire offering in the container and put the lead mass in the opening.

The container in which this mass of lead and fire offering is placed is 34.3 feet long and 5.5 feet in diameter. It flies. It will completely consume the homes of the disobedient in the land of Israel, including all of the wood and the stones. This fire offering is evil and it is encased in lead. That, my friends, is a missile with a nuclear warhead poised to strike the land of Israel. Swallow hard.

Non-critical masses of U-235 uranium or other fissionable materials are encased in lead to protect friendly personnel from contamination before detonation. When the warhead is activated, a controlled explosion propels the non-critical masses together to reach critical mass. That creates the evil fire that produces a holocaust, a burnt offering of everything in the path of the fireball. Moments later, the vacuum left from the departing fireball sucks the smoke and debris back into the void, and a pillar of fire and smoke shoots up into the stratosphere, darkening the sun, moon, and stars.
Now the vision makes sense. The precursor to the upcoming war detailed in the 12th chapter, is the development and deployment of nuclear missiles against the land of Israel. Thermal nuclear war in the land of Israel is going to happen.

The angel gives specific details to Zechariah so that we would know the things that must come to pass in the last days. And the Internet will allow the correct translation of “aisha” to cover the world in a moment of time. Knowing that God has told the end from the beginning gives us great confidence that he is the master of time and space, and we can trust Him with our children’s lives in the times of trouble ahead.

9 Then I looked up and saw as two fires came out of the container, and the fires caused the wind to lift the container by its “stork like” wings, from the earth into the sky.

Zechariah saw two fires come out of the container that propelled the missile into the sky. A two stage nuclear missile is a very common bird among the nuclear arsenals of the world. India’s nuclear missile is a two-stage device (two fires) that is named “Agni” which in Hindi means “fire.” The missile that Zechariah was watching had short wings that resembled the wings of a stork. Every missile on the face of the earth has that same feature. I will regress to verse 4 for a moment:

4 And I will bring it forth, says YHWH Tzavaot
(the LORD of Hosts KJV).

Jewish scientists created each of the three varieties of nuclear warheads on the planet. In fact, it was the lineage of Levi that developed this modern “fire offering” technology. As I say, “If you don’t have the Levites up on the Temple mount doing sacrifices, they get into all sorts of weird stuff.” They are going to do a fire offering – one way or another. As the Scriptures say in Genesis 49:5 Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.

Finally, Zechariah asks a question of the angel that is absolutely critical for our understanding.

10 Then I asked the angel, “Where are they taking the container?” 11 And he said,
“To establish a base for it, and set it up in the land of Shinar.”

The land of Shinar is present day Iraq!

During the 1980s, the Iraqis built a nuclear warhead production facility. Israel knew that Iraq would attack at the earliest occasion, so Israel made a pre-emptive strike and bombed the nuclear plant into a pile of rubble. The U.N. and U.S. whined like spoiled two-year-old children because Israel took this situation into their own hands, against the wishes of the New World Order. Iraq knew that it would be impossible to rebuild its nuclear arsenal within striking distance of Israel’s fighter/bombers. Soon after, the U.S. media reported that several Iraqi nuclear scientists defected to Pakistan. Untold millions of Iraqi dollars also defected to Pakistan. The Pakis successfully tested their first nuclear warhead a few years later, and now the Pakis and the Indians are rattling their nuclear sabers as their troops prepare for war.

The front cover of Scientific American magazine

The feature article: “India, Pakistan, and the Bomb”. On page eighty-one I found a detailed comparison of India’s nuclear missiles to those of Pakistan. A man was depicted at the foot of a Paki missile as a scale comparison. The missile appeared to be about 35 feet tall and about five and a half feet in diameter. The Iraqi scud is only 37 ½ feet long. Both missiles are visually the same dimensions that Zechariah saw by revelation nearly 2,500 years ago. Who can begin to appreciate the God that we serve? I would like to be on His team when the brimstone hits the fan!

Zechariah 5:I, Zechariah, looked up and saw a flying scroll in the sky. 2 And the angel that was showing me these things said, “What do you see?” I answered, “I see a flying scroll; 34.3 feet long, and 5.5 feet in diameter.” 3 Then he said, “This is the curse that will afflict the entire land of Israel.

The Sabbath Door

The Sabbath

Many of you, many of us assume we can cut corners and get away with it. I did but I never got away with it. Let me refresh you with Yehovah’s commandment.

Exo 20:8 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Exo 20:9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work.

Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Jehovah your God. You shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger within your gates.

Exo 20:11 For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and sanctified it.

We also have the Sabbath mentioned in Leviticus 23.

Feasts of the Lord

Lev 23:1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Lev 23:2 Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, The feasts of Jehovah, which you shall proclaim, holy convocations, even these are My appointed feasts.

The Sabbath

Lev 23:3 Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, a holy convocation. You shall not do any work. It is a sabbath to Jehovah in all your dwellings.

Here, Yehovah is declaring that these Holy times that are all listed here are His APPOINTED FEASTS. His, not yours to do with as you want, but His convocations in which he tells you what to do on each one. Let’s look at the word appointed Feasts.

Leviticus 23 tells you that all of these listed here are His Feasts, His Holy Convocations.
These are His Sabbaths.

Lev 23:2 Speak H1696  unto H413  the children H1121  of Israel, H3478  and say H559  unto H413  them, Concerning the feasts H4150  of the LORD, H3068  which H834(H853) ye shall proclaim H7121to be holy H6944  convocations, H4744even these H428are my feasts. H4150

Let’s look at the words and define them even more. The first word I am going to look at is Convocations, which the MKJV translates as “appointed.”

H4744   (Brown-Driver-Briggs) מקרא miqrâ’

BDB Definition:

1) convocation, convoking, reading, a calling together

1a) convocation, sacred assembly

1b) convoking

1c) reading

H4744   (Strong) מִקְרָא miqrâ’ mik-raw’

From H7121; something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the palce); also a rehearsal: – assembly, calling, convocation, reading.

These are His convocations in which we are to assemble together publicly for reading and rehearsals.

The word translated Feast is:

H4150   (Brown-Driver-Briggs) מועדה / מעד / מועד mô‛êd / mô‛êd / mô‛âdâh

BDB Definition:

1) appointed place, appointed time, meeting

1a) appointed time

1a1) appointed time (general)

1a2) sacred season, set feast, appointed season

1b) appointed meeting

1c) appointed place

1d) appointed sign or signal

1e) tent of meeting

H4150   (Strong) מוֹעָדָה    מֹעֵד    מוֹעֵד mô‛êd    mô‛êd    mô‛âdâh mo-ade’, mo-ade’, mo-aw-daw’

From H3259; properly an appointment, that is, a fixed time or season; specifically a festival; conventionally a year; by implication, an assembly (as convened for a definite purpose); technically the congregation; by extension, the place of meeting; also a signal (as appointed beforehand): – appointed (sign, time), (place of, solemn) assembly, congregation, (set, solemn) feast, (appointed, due) season, solemn (-ity), synagogue, (set) time (appointed).

Yehovah tells us to assemble at a fixed time to read and rehearse something on the seventh day, Sabbath, and each of the seven annual Holy Days.

Let me now share with you the ancient meaning of the Paleo for the Hebrew word Moed:

H4150   (Ancient Hebrew)

H4150 = AHLB# 1349-L (a)

1349) Do% (Do% AhD) ac: Repeat co: ? ab: Witness: The pictograph o is a picture of the eye, the d is a picture of the door. Combined these mean “see the door”. As coming to a tent a tent of meeting and entering in. A place, time or event that is repeated again and again.

A) Do% (Do% AhD) ac: ? co: ? ab: Witness: An event or persons testimony recounting another event or person.

Nf) Do% (Do% AhD) – I. Witness: II. Again: A repetition of time either definite or indefinite. [Hebrew and Aramaic] III. Until: A determinate period of time. [freq. 269] |kjv: witness, ever, everlasting, end, evermore, old, perpetually, by, as, when, how, yet, till, until, unto, for, to, but, on, within, filthy| {H1157, H5703, H5704, H5705, H5707, H5708}

Nf1) Edo% (Edo% Ah-DH) – I. Company: A group with a common testimony. II. Witness: [freq. 175] |kjv: congregation, company, assembly, multitude, people, swarm, testimony, witness| {H5712, H5713}

Nf3) Tfdo% (Tfdo% Ah-DWT) – Witness: [freq. 59] |kjv: testimony, witness| {H5715}

The word Moed, translated in English as Feasts, means to be a repeated witness.

Yehovah is telling us to convocate or assemble on these Holy times of meeting to witness what He is going to do on them and to be His witness to some event He will bring about. But we must be there on those proper days in order to witness these events. If we are not there, if we are keeping the wrong days, we will not see them, and we will not be witnesses.

Something else I see from the Paleo letters is “The pictograph o is a picture of the eye, the d is a picture of the door. Combined these mean “see the door”.”

The Tent where the Door is, is the Sheepfold. We who are His sheep are to be found assembled in that sheepfold. The only way in or out of the sheepfold is to go through the door.

Jhn 10:1 Truly, truly, I say to you, He who does not enter into the sheepfold by the door, but going up by another way, that one is a thief and a robber.

Jhn 10:2 But he who enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

Jhn 10:3 The doorkeeper opens to him, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

Jhn 10:4 And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him. For they know his voice.

Jhn 10:5 And they will not follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.

Jhn 10:6 Jesus spoke this parable to them, but they did not understand what it was which He spoke to them.

Jhn 10:7 Then Jesus said to them again, Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

Jhn 10:8 All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.

Jhn 10:9 I am the door. If anyone enters in by Me, he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture.

Jhn 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Jhn 10:11 I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

Jhn 10:12 But he who is a hireling and not the shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and runs away. And the wolf catches them and scatters the sheep.

Jhn 10:13 The hireling flees, because he is a hireling and does not care for the sheep.

Jhn 10:14 I am the Good Shepherd, and I know those that are Mine, and I am known by those who are Mine.

Jhn 10:15 Even as the Father knows Me, I also know the Father. And I lay down My life for the sheep.

Jhn 10:16 And I have other sheep who are not of this fold. I must also lead those, and they shall hear My voice, and there shall be one flock, one Shepherd.

Jhn 10:17 Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I might take it again.

Jhn 10:18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down from Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. I have received this commandment from My Father.

The Door, the Dalet, is Yehshua. A threshold covenant is made at the door. This is where the sin offerings are killed, outside the Tabernacle at the entrance to the Temple. Yehshua was killed at the threshold, the door to the Temple. He was our sin offering witnessed by the Apostles being killed on the 14th of Aviv.

Had Israel not assembled at this time for this rehearsal, they would not have witnessed Yehshua perform this event.

Each and every Sabbath is important to keep Holy so you can be His witnesses and tell His story. But you have to be there in order to be a witness. You have to be there to see it.

In Matthew, we read of a takanot set in place by the Pharisees. A takanot is a law created by men. You are allowed to eat on the Sabbath. Some you are not to cook and others you can. Each one is explained when you read them.

Mat 12:1 At that time Jesus went through the grain fields on the sabbath day. And His disciples were hungry, and began to pluck the heads of grain and to eat.

Mat 12:2 But when the Pharisees saw, they said to Him, Behold, your disciples do that which it is not lawful to do on the sabbath day.

Mat 12:3 But He said to them, Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, and those who were with him,

Mat 12:4 how he entered into the house of God and ate the showbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests?

Mat 12:5 Or have you not read in the Law that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath and are blameless?

Mat 12:6 But I say to you that One greater than the temple is in this place.

Mat 12:7 But if you had known what this is, “I desire mercy and not sacrifice,” you would not have condemned those who are not guilty.

Mat 12:8 For the Son of Man is Lord even of the sabbath.

Yehshua had just told them that one greater than the Temple was before them and that He was also Lord of the Sabbath; after all, He created it by resting on the seventh day.

Gen 2:1 And the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made. And He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.

Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He had rested from all His work which God created to make.

Isaiah 12:2 tells us Yehovah became our Yehshua; He became our salvation.

Isa 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; He also has become my salvation.

The word translated salvation is:

H3444   (Ancient Hebrew)

H3444 = AHLB# 1476-L (d1)

1476) Os% (Os% ShAh) ac: Watch co: Shepherd ab: Delight:The pictograph s is a picture of the teeth used for devouring or destruction, the o is a picture of the eye. Combined these mean “destroyer watches”. The shepherd carefully watches over the flock and the surrounding area always on the lookout for danger. When a predator comes to attack, the shepherd destroys the enemy.

H3444   (Strong) יְשׁוּעָה yeshû‛âh yesh-oo’-aw

Feminine passive participle of H3467; something saved, that is, (abstractly) deliverance; hence aid, victory, prosperity: – deliverance, health, help (-ing), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare.

Yehshua, our shepherd, Yehovah our Saviour is our shepherd who watches over us. He is the door through whom we find our salvation and He is the one and the same who is Lord of the Sabbath and of the Moedim. You are called to meet Him at this set apart times to be instructed and taught about Him and to witness to the events He does at these times from the past and to witness those ones He will do in the future. This is why they are also called rehearsals.

When we are new to this walk we learn as a child, but we are expected to grow in the faith and to mature. As Paul said we look at these Holy Days and do not always understand what we are seeing but we should as we mature.

1Co 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

1Co 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

When we come to Ezekiel, we are told the sad history of Israel, who would not keep these Sabbaths Holy.

Israel’s Continuing Rebellion

Ezk 20:1 And it happened in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth of the month, some of the elders of Israel came to ask of Jehovah, and sat before me.

Ezk 20:2 And came the Word of Jehovah to me, saying,

Ezk 20:3 Son of man, speak to the elders of Israel and say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: Have you come to ask of Me? As I live, says the Lord Jehovah, I will not be inquired of by you.

Ezk 20:4 Will you judge them, son of man, will you judge them? Cause them to know the abominations of their fathers.

Ezk 20:5 And say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: In the day that I chose Israel, and lifted up My hand to the seed of the house of Jacob, and made Myself known to them in the land of Egypt; when I lifted up My hand to them, saying, I am Jehovah your God;

Ezk 20:6 in the day that I lifted up My hand to them, to bring them out from the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands;

Ezk 20:7 then I said to them, Let each man throw away the abominations of his eyes, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am Jehovah your God.

Ezk 20:8 But they rebelled against Me and would not listen to Me. They did not each man throw away the abominations of their eyes, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt. And I said, I will pour out My fury against them to fulfill My anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

Ezk 20:9 But I worked for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned before the nations among whom they were, for I made Myself known to them in their eyes, by bringing them out of the land of Egypt.

Ezk 20:10 And I caused them to go out from the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness.

Ezk 20:11 And I gave them My statutes and showed them My judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them.

Ezk 20:12 And also I gave them My sabbaths to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am Jehovah who sets them apart.

Yehovah, gave us the Sabbath as His sign, His mark to identify us as His. How many of you are wearing this mark on you, by not working on the Sabbath or doing your business on the Sabbath? How many of you continue to rebel as Israel did by not keeping this day Holy? Let’s keep reading.

Ezk 20:13 But the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness; they did not walk in My statutes, and they despised My judgments, which if a man does, he shall even live in them. And they greatly profaned My sabbaths. And I said, I will pour out My fury on them in the wilderness to destroy them.

Hebrews 13:8 said Yehshua is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Yehovah said in Malachi 3:6, I change not. So, who changed the Sabbath? Who said we do not have to keep them any longer? What scripture verse tells you by the authority of Yehovah that the Sabbath and Holy Days are done away with? You cannot find one.

Ezk 20:14 But I worked for My name’s sake, so that it should not be profaned before the nations in whose sight I brought them out.

Ezk 20:15 And also I lifted up My hand to them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey; it is the glory of all lands;

Ezk 20:16 because they despised My judgments and walked not in My sabbaths; and they profaned My sabbaths; for their heart went after their idols.

Is your idol, Friday night football, or are you involved in sports on Saturday? Is that your idol? Is going out to eat on the Sabbath and having others serve you in direct opposition to the 4th commandment your idol? Is working on the Sabbath and earning that money your idol?

Paul tells us these idols you have set up are demons to whom you worship.

1Co 10:19 What then do I say? That the idol is anything, or that an idolatrous sacrifice is anything?

1Co 10:20 But I say that the things which the nations sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God. And I do not desire that you should have fellowship with demons.

What excuse are you using to profane the weekly Sabbath and the Holy Days? Go ahead and write me the excuses you have to justify not keeping the Sabbath Holy. Yes, it is getting darker earlier, and you have to work into the Sabbath on Friday nights because… I hope your excuse will save you when you stand before the judge. It won’t, you have been told. There is no justifiable excuse for working on the Sabbath unless you are a priest serving in that capacity.

If you have a legitimate ox in the ditch, then yes you have a good reason. But if you have the same ox in the ditch every Sabbath, then it is time to slaughter that Ox once and for all. Find excuses why you must obey the Sabbath and stop with excuses why you won’t.

Ezk 20:17 But My eye spared them from destroying them, nor did I make an end of them in the wilderness.

Ezk 20:18 But I said to their sons in the wilderness, Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, nor observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

Ezk 20:19 I am Jehovah your God. Walk in My statutes, and keep My judgments, and do them,

Ezk 20:20 and keep My sabbaths holy; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am Jehovah your God.

Ezk 20:21 But the sons rebelled against Me. They did not walk in My statutes, nor kept My judgments to do them; the judgments which, if a man do, he shall even live in them; they profaned My sabbaths and I said I would pour out My fury on them, to fulfill My anger against them in the wilderness.

You are having all kinds of problems in your life. Why do all these things keep happening to poor old you? You pray and pray, but your prayers do not get past the ceiling of your house. Why does Yehovah not hear your crying? Bad things keep coming. Have you ever thought that maybe you’re cheating on the Sabbath, you’re watching the sports channel, you’re working on the Sabbath, you’re ducting out to fix another emergency on the Sabbath, you’re out of milk and need some on the Sabbath so you went to buy some and whatever other excuse you use to bring the Sabbath, might be the reason you are having the problems that seem never to end.

Ezk 20:22 But I withdrew My hand and worked for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the eyes of the nations, from whom I brought them out in their eyes.

Ezk 20:23 I also lifted up My hand to them in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the nations and scatter them through the lands,

Ezk 20:24 because they had not done My judgments, but had despised My sabbaths and had profaned My sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers’ idols.

Ezk 20:25 Also I gave them statutes not good, and judgments by which they should not live.

Ezk 20:26 And I defiled them in their own gifts, in that they caused all that open the womb to pass through the fire, that I might waste them, to the end that they might know that I am Jehovah.

Ezk 20:27 Therefore, son of man, speak to the house of Israel and say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed Me, in that they have committed a sin against Me.

Ezk 20:28 When I had brought them into the land for which I lifted up My hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered their sacrifices there. And there they offered their provoking gifts. There also they made their sweet aroma, and poured out their drink offerings there.

Ezk 20:29 And I said to them, What is the high place to which you go? And the name of it is called High Place to this day.

Ezk 20:30 Therefore say to the house of Israel, So says the Lord Jehovah: Are you defiled in the same way as your fathers? And do you go whoring after their abominations?

Ezk 20:31 For when you offer your gifts, when you make your sons to pass through the fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols, even to this day. And shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I Live, says the Lord Jehovah, I will not be inquired of by you.

Passing your sons through the fire is what has now become known as Christmas. Do you foresake the Sabbath and Yehovah’s Moedim, His Holy Days in order to keep Christmas? Do you do this so that you can be like all those around you?

Ezk 20:32 And what comes up on your spirit shall not happen at all, that you say, We will be like the nations, like the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone.

The Lord Will Restore Israel

Ezk 20:33 As I live, says the Lord Jehovah, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, I will reign over you.

Ezk 20:34 And I will bring you out from the people, and I will gather you out of the lands in which you are scattered among them, with a mighty hand and with a stretched out arm and with fury poured out.

Ezk 20:35 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face.

Ezk 20:36 Just as I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will enter into judgment with you, says the Lord Jehovah.

Ezk 20:37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant.

Ezk 20:38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels and those who sin against Me. I will bring them out from the land where they reside, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.

Yehovah is going to gather all of us and speak to us face to face during the final 3 1/2 years of judgment on this world. He will make us all pass under the rod of Assyria and every 10th one will be Holy but the rest will not. Those who rebell will not be saved. He is going to bring them all out of their homes, but those who do not want to keep the Sabbath or Holy Days will be cut off and they will not enter the Land of Israel. Keep this in mind when we read Hebrews next.

Ezk 20:39 And you, O house of Israel, so says the Lord Jehovah: Every man go and serve his idols, and do so from now on if you will not listen to Me. But never again defile My holy name with your gifts and with your idols.

Ezk 20:40 For in My holy mountain, in the mountain height of Israel, says the Lord Jehovah, there all the house of Israel, all of those in the land, shall serve Me. There will I receive them, and there will I ask for your offerings and the firstfruits of your offerings, with all your holy things.

Again, the first fruits of your offerings refer to keeping the Moedim, the Holy Days. In the very last chapter of the Book of Revelation, we are told that those who keep the commandments will be there, but those who don’t will not be there. Keeping the commandments includes the fourth commandment of keeping the Sabbath Holy and not profaning it by doing your works, your business, or your sins on the Sabbath.

Rev 22:14  Blessed are they who do His commandments, that their authority will be over the Tree of Life, and they may enter in by the gates into the city.

Rev 22:15  But outside are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and makes a lie.

Rev 22:16  I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify these things to you over the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright and Morning Star.

Rev 22:17  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come! And let the one hearing say, Come! And let the one who is thirsty come. And he willing, let him take of the Water of Life freely.

Rev 22:18  For I testify together to everyone who hears the Words of the prophecy of this Book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add on him the plagues that have been written in this Book.

Rev 22:19  And if anyone takes away from the Words of the Book of this prophecy, God will take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which have been written in this Book.

Rev 22:20  He who testifies these things says, Yes, I am coming quickly, Amen. Yes, come, Lord Jesus.

Rev 22:21  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you. Amen.

Ezk 20:41 I will receive you with your sweet aroma when I bring you out from the people and gather you out of the lands into which you have been scattered among them. And I will be sanctified in you in the eyes of the nations.

Ezk 20:42 And you shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the land for which I lifted up My hand, to give it to your fathers.

Ezk 20:43 And there you shall remember your ways and all your doings in which you have been defiled. And you shall despise yourselves in your own sight for all your evils which you have committed.

Ezk 20:44 And you shall know that I am Jehovah when I have worked with you for My name’s sake, not according to your wicked ways nor according to your corrupt doings, O house of Israel, says the Lord Jehovah.

It is only by obeying the Sabbath each week that we can learn how to prepare for the 7th millennium. The Sabbath and Holy Days are a rehearsal of what is to come. The seventh Day Sabbath is showing us the 7th millennium of rest to which everyone wants to be a part of.

Mic 4:2 And many nations shall come and say, Come and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths; for the Law shall go forth out of Zion, and the Word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.

Hab 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea.

Zec 8:3 So says Jehovah: I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a City of Truth, and the mountain of Jehovah of Hosts, the Holy Mountain.

Zec 8:4 So says Jehovah of Hosts: There shall yet be old men and old women living in the streets of Jerusalem, and each man with his staff in his hand because of their many days.

Zec 8:5 And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.

Zec 8:6 So says Jehovah of Hosts: If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, will it also be marvelous in My eyes, says Jehovah of Hosts?

Zec 8:7 So says Jehovah of Hosts: Behold, I will save My people from the east country, and from the land of the setting sun.

Zec 8:8 And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. And they shall be My people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

Zec 8:9 So says Jehovah of Hosts: Let your hands be strong, you who hear in these days these Words by the mouth of the prophets, that in the day the house of Jehovah of Hosts is founded, the temple is to be built.

By rejecting the Sabbath you are saying you don’t want to be a part of this. By compromising the Sabbath you roll the dice as to whether or not you are going to be a part of it.

A Rest for the People of God

Heb 3:7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear His voice,

Heb 3:8 do not harden your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness,

Heb 3:9 when your fathers tempted Me, proved Me, and saw My works forty years.

Heb 3:10 Therefore I was grieved with that generation and said, They always err in their heart, and they have not known My ways.

Heb 3:11 So I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter into My rest.”

Heb 3:12 Take heed, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

Heb 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through thedeceitfulness of sin.

Heb 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,

Heb 3:15 while it is said, “Today if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.”

Heb 3:16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke; however, not all who came out of Egypt by Moses.

Heb 3:17 But with whom was He grieved forty years? Was it not with those who had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?

Heb 3:18 And to whom did He swear that they shouldnot enter into His rest, but to those who did not believe?

Heb 3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Heb 4:1 Therefore, a promise being left to enter into His rest, let us fear lest any of you should seem to come short of it.

Heb 4:2 For also we have had the gospel preached, as well as them. But the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.

Heb 4:3 For we who have believed do enter into the rest, as He said, “I have sworn in My wrath that they should not enter into My rest;” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Heb 4:4 For He spoke in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested the seventh day from all His works.”

Heb 4:5 And in this place again, “They shall not enter into My rest.”

Heb 4:6 Since then it remains that some must enter into it, and since they to whom it was first preached did not enter in because of unbelief,

Heb 4:7 He again marks out a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” (after so long a time). Even as it is said, “Today, if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts.”

Heb 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day.

Heb 4:9 So then there remains a rest to the people of God.

Heb 4:10 For he who has entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from His.

Heb 4:11 Therefore let us labor to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of unbelief.

Heb 4:12 For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Heb 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight, but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

Let me tell you my story.

My son was an aspiring athlete and provincial volleyball player. He even made it to the Canadian team and was voted Most Valuable Player when playing against the American National team. I wanted a family that was loving, unified, and close.  My wife could not drive the long distances to tournaments across the north America and Europe. Most of the tournaments were always on the weekends. So the responsibility to take my son to these events fell on me.

I justified driving him to the tournaments by saying I would not cheer and sit there without getting involved. I said I would not coach my sone between games. I said I would have food on hand so we would not have to eat in a restaurant. I said I would not buy gas on Sabbath in order to get to the games. Every time the car was empty, nothing prepared and I got involved in the games they were so awesome to see the execution of plays.

King David thought he could have sex with another man’s wife. Then she got pregnant and David thought he could have him killed in a war by the enemy and not be guilty of his murder.

2Sa 11:1 And it happened at the turn of the year, at the time kings go forth, David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel. And they destroyed the sons of Ammon and circled Rabbah. But David remained at Jerusalem.

2Sa 11:2 And it happened one evening, David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king’s house. And from the roof he saw a woman bathing. And the woman was very beautiful to look upon.

2Sa 11:3 And David sent and asked about the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?

2Sa 11:4 And David sent messengers and took her. And she came in to him, and he lay with her. And she had purified herself from her uncleanness. And she returned to her house.

2Sa 11:5 And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.

2Sa 11:6 And David sent to Joab, saying, Send me Uriah the Hittite. And Joab sent Uriah to David.

2Sa 11:7 And when Uriah had come to him, David asked how Joab did, and how the people did, and how the war went.

2Sa 11:8 And David said to Uriah, Go down to your house and wash your feet. And Uriah left the king’s house. And a gift from the king went out after him.

2Sa 11:9 But Uriah slept at the door of the king’s house with all the servants of his lord, and did not go down to his house.

2Sa 11:10 And they told David, saying, Uriah did not go to his house. And David said to Uriah, Did you not come from a journey? Why have you not gone down to your house?

2Sa 11:11 And Uriah said to David, The ark and Israel and Judah abide in tents. And my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are camped in the open fields. Shall I then go to my house to eat and to drink and to lie with my wife? As you live, and as your soul lives, I will not do this thing.

2Sa 11:12 And David said to Uriah, Stay here today also, and tomorrow I will let you go. And Uriah stayed in Jerusalem that day and the next day.

2Sa 11:13 And when David had called him, he ate and drank before him. And he made him drunk. And at evening he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but he did not go down to his house.

2Sa 11:14 And it happened in the morning, David wrote a letter to Joab and sent it by the hand of Uriah.

2Sa 11:15 And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and draw back from him so that he may be stricken and die.

2Sa 11:16 And it happened when Joab observed the city, he sent Uriah to a place where he knew brave men were.

2Sa 11:17 And the men of the city went out and fought with Joab. And some of the people of the servants of David fell. And Uriah the Hittite also died.

2Sa 11:18 Then Joab sent and told David all the things concerning the war.

2Sa 11:19 And he commanded the messenger saying, When you have made an end of telling the matters of the war to the king,

2Sa 11:20 and if it be so that the king’s wrath arise, and he say to you, Why did you approach so near to the city when you fought? Did you not know that they would shoot from the wall?

2Sa 11:21 Who struck Abimelech the son of Jerub-besheth? Did not a woman cast a piece of a millstone upon him from the wall, so that he died in Thebez? Why did you go near the wall? And you shall say, Your servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.

2Sa 11:22 And the messenger departed, and came and told David all that Joab had sent him to tell.

2Sa 11:23 And the messenger said to David, Surely the men prevailed against us, and came out to us to the field, and we were upon them even to the entering of the gate.

2Sa 11:24 And the shooters shot from off the wall upon your servants, and some of the king’s servants are dead, and your servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.

2Sa 11:25 Then David said to the messenger, So you shall say to Joab, Do not let this thing displease you, for the sword devours one as well as another. Make your battle stronger against the city and overthrow it. And you encourage him.

2Sa 11:26 And the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, and mourned for her husband.

2Sa 11:27 And when her mourning was past, David sent and brought her to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done was evil in the eyes of Jehovah.

Nathan Rebukes David

2Sa 12:1 And Jehovah sent Nathan to David. And he came to him and said to him, There were two men in one city, one rich and one poor.

2Sa 12:2 The rich one had exceeding many flocks and herds,

2Sa 12:3 but the poor one had nothing except one little ewe lamb which he had bought and nourished up. And it grew up together with him and with his sons. It ate of his own food and drank from his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was to him like a daughter.

2Sa 12:4 And there came a traveler to the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd to dress for the traveler that had come to him. But he took the poor man’s lamb and dressed it for the man who had come to him.

2Sa 12:5 And David’s anger was greatly kindled against the man. And he said to Nathan, As the Lord lives, the man who has done this shall surely die.

2Sa 12:6 And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.

2Sa 12:7 And Nathan said to David, You are the man! So says Jehovah, the God of Israel, I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul.

2Sa 12:8 And I gave you your master’s house and your master’s wives into your bosom, and gave you the house of Israel and of Judah. And if that was too little, I would have given to you such and such things besides.

2Sa 12:9 Why have you despised the Word of Jehovah, to do evil in His sight? You have stricken Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and have taken his wife to beyour wife, and have killed him with the sword of the sons of Ammon.

2Sa 12:10 And therefore, the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised Me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.

2Sa 12:11 So says Jehovah, Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house, and I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor. And he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun.

2Sa 12:12 For you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel and before the sun.

2Sa 12:13 And David said to Nathan, I have sinned against Jehovah. And Nathan said to David, Jehovah also has put away your sin; you shall not die.

2Sa 12:14 Only, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of Jehovah to blaspheme, this child born to you shall surely die.

David’s Child Dies

2Sa 12:15 And Nathan left to go to his house. And Jehovah struck the child that Uriah’s wife bore to David, and it was very sick.

2Sa 12:16 And David prayed to God for the child. And David fasted, and went in and lay all night upon the earth.

2Sa 12:17 And the elders of his house rose up toward him, to raise him up from the earth. But he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.

2Sa 12:18 And it happened on the seventh day, the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead. For they said, Behold, while the child was still alive we spoke to him, and he would not listen to our voice. How then will he trouble himself if we tell him that the child is dead?

2Sa 12:19 But David saw that his servants whispered. And David understood that the child was dead. And David said to his servants, Is the boy dead? And they said, He is dead.

2Sa 12:20 And David arose from the earth and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his clothing, and came into the house of Jehovah and worshiped. And he came to his house, and commanded, and they brought bread before him and he ate.

2Sa 12:21 Then his servants said to him, What is this that you have done? You fasted and wept for the living boy, but when the child was dead you arose and ate bread!

2Sa 12:22 And he said, While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, Who can tell if God will be gracious to me so that the child may live?

2Sa 12:23 But now he is dead; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

Brethren I cheated on the Sabbath. I compromised with Yehovah in order to build a unified family. Yehovah knows our stupid reasoning and laughs at us. He was about to kill King David until he repented. Yehovah does not change His laws.

So the very thing I sought to have by breaking the Sabbaths is the very thing I am now not given. I have no unity in my family. My sons and daughters don’t allow me to be a part of their lives. I am not allowed to talk to my grandchildren or be a part of their lives as they grow up. I was not told of my daughter being pregnant until many months later and of the birth of that child many weeks after. The thing I wanted by cheating on the Sabbath was the very thing that was taken away for my disobedience.

I am not looking for your pity. I am telling you to keep the Sabbath and the Holy Days for your own sake. Do not cut corners and do not go looking for as many oxens as you can find in the ditch. It does not matter if it is the playoffs.  Keep the Sabbath and Holy Days Holy, with no excuses.

I can’t help but wonder how many of the problems many of you now face will disappear once you repent and begin to obey. But like David, he received a family curse for his sin that was passed down to every generation. You can break this curse by obeying. It begins with you, and it begins right now today.

Our Messiah, the Door, who is Lord of the Sabbath, guards the entrance by which the sheep enter the fold. He is also the guard by which you will enter the Kingdom. In order to do so, you must keep the commandments which include the Sabbath and Holy Days. It is His blood on the Door that paid for your sins if you repent and accept that He has paid your penalty for you. The Death Angel is coming now in these final 10 Days of Awe. If you continue to cheat and break the commandments, you get to pay the price with your own blood. To be kept safe inside, like at Passover from the death angel, you need to be guarded by the Door. You must repent and obey.

  1. A most singular and important truth you have laid out here for all to see. Everyone will receive a mark in the coming days the only choices are the mark of the beast or the mark of Jehovah God Choose Wisely

Hello to all my close Friends.
I am sending you this update on the present World situation on the brink of a Nuclear Warfare. I could not make it any clearer for you to understand and take notice, to prepare yourselves, for the current dangerous World Events, that are taking shape in front of your very eyes.
I could not hold back, without informing you to make you discern of the DANGEROUS TIMES, we are living in.
From my Biblical understanding, I like to inform you, that we are living in Satan’s world. Satan is very angry, because he knows that his judgment day is coming, happening under ten years from now.
On Satan’s Judgment day, Satan is sentenced to be locked up in prison for one thousand years as written in Revelation 20:1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
    Revelation 20:2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
Revelation 20:3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

  3. Very interesting. “Maybe” however, should have highlighted and capitalized Eze 20:24-25. BECAUSE Israel (and humanity as a whole) rejected the Sabbaths, Holy Days, and ways of Yehovah, through false religion HE gave mankind holidays such as Christmas & Easter so they could not live/find/get eternal life by observing these holidays! This goes hand in hand with Mat 13:13; John 12:40; Rom 11:7; 2 Cor 3:14-16; and Isa 25:7.

While my story is obviously different than yours, my family too basically IGNORES me in my senior years. I do want want pity either. Knowing the relationship I have with Yehovah and my hope for eternity, I wouldn’t trade to have a closer relationship with them. Yeshua said He was bringing a sword that would divide families, so I count myself blessed.

  4. After reading this, i have to ask, are we profaning the Sabbath with our zoom meetings?

    Reply
    • No Ella, I don’t think so. Paul wrote to not forsake our getting together. Even though via Zoom, God’s chosen are spread so far apart, that in these last days, we are using technology to “assemble.”

Besides, the often 4-6 hours of meeting time occupies our time in seeking knowledge of Yeshua/Yehovah, and if anything, shortens the time left in the day for the evil one to tempt us to do things we shouldn’t be doing/transgressing.

      Blessings,

      J.W.

  5. Excuses are just fig leaf aprons.

They [excuses via fig leaf aprons] did not work in The Garden the first time and they will not the second time.

Our Creator wants to see our lives produce an abundance of fruit––a harvest of holiness through His lifeblood.
He is not pleased with merely leaves (Luke 13:6-9).

Yehovah wants us back in The Garden with Him. We need to desire the same and honor Him with our obedience.

Only then, will He walk with us and He will talk with us and tell us that we are His own. . . .
