The Grape Harvest-The Time of Crisis

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,

It has now been three weeks since we uploaded our video to the Guild in the hopes of being discovered and then funded to make more videos at a much better quality. I knew our message was very hard to watch, but I also knew it was important not to miss. Here is the email I received this week from the Guild:

Thank you again for your submission to the Angel Guild. After going through the voting process, this Torch reached a Guild score of 23, which does not meet the minimum score needed of 45 to move forward.

You have to score a 45 using the logarithms they developed based on the audience’s response to viewing, watching until the end, comments and reactions. They evaluate every thumbs up, heart forward and what is said in those comments to create an input system and determine if the video submitted will be profitable on the big screen.  We scored a 12 right out of the gate and then dropped back to an eight by the end of the first week. We also began to get comments from people who wanted to learn more and who had trouble digesting our message because it was too fast. (It was meant to be fast, as I was restricted to 20 minutes or less. As it was, this video was 25 minutes.)

The Guild comprises 324,926 members who review, vote, and comment on what videos get funding and are promoted to full production. When I submitted our video, they had 290,480 members. By the end of our three-week trial, our video was viewed by 53% of them, which means it was watched by somewhere between 153,594 members and 172,210 members in total. So this respect I have been successful in putting our video in front of so many “Christians” at such a cheap price. The cost of submitting our video was $300. (.0017 is the cost per person) This means I got far more advertising interest here than I did through our regular advertising campaign.

I have the full video on our special site at this link. You are not allowed to include any marketing or self-promotion material in the video you submit. So, all logos of sightedmoon.com had to be removed, and any speeches I made at the end also had to be removed.

When I compare the number of views my video has received in contrast to those at the Guild, it is striking. At the Guild, we had approximately 172,000 views. On my own site through all my own advertising, through the newsletter and recently on Facebook, I am now just around the 500 views mark.

I was able to load our video at the following venue which I own. This first one is Techcast. You can leave comments if you want.

We are also told about those who were invited to the wedding and they would not come. So they went to the highways and byways to get anyone and everyone they could to come and fill the seats.

The Parable of the Wedding Feast

Mat 22:1 And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables, and said,

Mat 22:2 The kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king who made a marriage for his son.

Mat 22:3 And he sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they would not come.

Mat 22:4 Again he sent out other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the marriage.

Mat 22:5 But not caring, they went their ways, one to hisfield, another to his trading.

Mat 22:6 And the rest took his servants and treated them spitefully, and killed them.

Mat 22:7 But when the king heard, he was angry. And he sent out his armies and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

Mat 22:8 Then he said to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they who were invited were not worthy.

Mat 22:9Therefore go into the exits of the highways, and as many as you shall find, invite them to the marriage.

Mat 22:10So the servants went out into the highways and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. And the wedding was filled with reclining guests.

Mat 22:11 And the king coming in to look over the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment.

Mat 22:12 And he said to him, Friend, how did you come in here without having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

Mat 22:13 Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few chosen.

I have begun advertising our charts in Korean, Chinese, Thai, Burmese, Sri Lankan, Hindi, and Urdu, using Google Translate. I made a few short videos in the native languages of these groups, and I am getting traction. People are sharing the message. We have doubled our list on Facebook in just two days doing this, and these are active people who love Jesus and share that message.

We are approaching the 9th of Av, when bad things have traditionally happened to Israel. Are they trying to provoke Yehovah by poking Him in the eye? We are also very close to the 1290-day countdown from the 4th lockdown on December 27, 2020, is July 9, 2024. this will be the 2nd day of the 6th month for us.

Early presidential elections in Iran will be held on 28 June 2024 following the death of President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash on 19 May.

It is with the current Baal Peor celebrations going on in Israel that I am fascinated by what is said in Hosea. Right now the first fruits of the figs and the grapes are now being cut.

Hos 9:10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness. I saw your fathers as the first-fruit in the fig tree at her first time. But they went to Baal-peor and set

themselves apart to a shameful thing; and they became abominable like that which they loved.

Hos 2:1 Say to your brothers, A People; and to your sisters, Mercy.

Hos 2:2 Contend! Contend with your mother, for she isnot my wife, nor am I her husband. Let her therefore put away her fornications out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts,

Hos 2:3 lest I strip her naked and set her out as in the day that she was born; and lest I make her as the wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst.

Hos 2:4 And I will not have mercy on her sons, for they are the sons of adulteries.

Hos 2:5 For their mother has prostituted herself. She who conceived them has done shamefully. For she said, I will go after my lovers who give my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, my oil and my drink.

Hos 2:6 Therefore behold, I will hedge your way with thorns, and wall up her wall, that she shall not find her paths.

Hos 2:7 And she shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them. She shall seek them, but shall not find them. Then she shall say, I will go and return to my first husband, for then it was better with me than now.

Hos 2:8 For she did not know that I gave her grain, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, whichthey prepared for Baal.

Hos 2:9 So I will return and take away My grain in its time, and my wine in its season, and will recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness.

Hos 2:10 And now I will uncover her shamefulness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of my hand.

Hos 2:11 I will also cause all her joy to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her appointed feasts.

Hos 2:12 And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, of which she has said, They are my rewards that my lovers have given me. And I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.

Hos 2:13 And I will visit on her the days of the Baals, in which she burned incense to them, and she adorned herself with her nose-rings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers and forgot Me, says Jehovah.

I must remind you we are in the 5th curse cycle of Leviticus 26.

Lev 26:27 And if you will not for all of this listen to Me, but will walk contrary to Me,

Lev 26:28 then I will walk contrary to you also in fury. And I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

Lev 26:29 And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters you shall eat.

Lev 26:30 And I will destroy your high places and cut down your images, and throw your carcasses on the carcasses of your idols, and My soul shall despise you.

Lev 26:31 And I will make your cities waste and cause your sanctuaries to be deserted. And I will not smell the savor of your sweet odors.

Lev 26:32 And I will turn the land into wasteland. And your enemies who dwell in it shall be astonished at it.

Lev 26:33 And I will scatter you among the nations, and will draw out a sword after you. And your land shall be waste, and your cities waste.

We are also in the first Trumpet Plague. The first curse of Egypt was Yehovah attacking the Nile god Hopi. Now, instead of the Nile, Yehovah is attacking all rivers and nations and will turn their rivers into a foul stench. 2024 continues to be hotter than 2023, breaking all records around the world.

Rev 8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

Rev 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mixed with blood, and they were cast on the earth. And the third part of trees was burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

Rev 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea. And the third part of the sea became blood.

Rev 8:9 And the third part of the creatures in the sea, those having souls, died; and the third part of the ships was destroyed.

I believe this great mountain to be the USA, and this curse will come in 2025 after the fall elections, along with the second plague of Egypt. The Egyptian Goddess, Heket is the god of fertility and in Greek she was the god of magic and is also known as the moon goddess.

Then, with all of this, there are the four seals: white, red, pale, and black, all of which we explain in the video above.

Are our nations so stupid that we cannot see why all this trouble has come upon Israel and the rest of the 12 tribes of Israel? The very day they danced to Buddha, they received a slaughtering, and no one is repenting. Now, they and the Western world are going to celebrate LGBT month. No one is repenting, and we have the Middle East being emboldened by every speech that comes from Washington. They have no fear of the USA or the United Kingdom. Even the Houthis are emboldened enough to attack the US fleet, and they suffer minimum reprisals for doing so. China and Russia do not fear the USA.

The four horsemen are riding at full gallop now, and by 2030, if not sooner, will establish the 10 toes or 10-horned Kingdom that is going to rule for a short time before our redeemer comes to destroy it. But before that day does come, Billions will die.

Being complacent or playing ostrich with your head in the sand is not going to change anything. It is on! The only thing we can do is plant seeds in those who will emerge from the Great Tribulation, that innumerable multitude spoken of in Revelation 7. All of us need to be doing this work now. All of us, not just me. You all can see the writing on the wall.

Join Our Sabbath Meetings

Join Our Sabbath Meetings

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers songs and teaching from this hour.

Shabbat Services will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

The Perpetual Calendar

The Perpetual Calendar

We have available from our website a calendar you can use to keep track of the days of the month based on when the Barley is ripe and when the moon is sighted. ALl you have to do is download it. https://sightedmoon.com/perpetual-calendar/

With the new year about to begin, you can learn about the calendar as you record it. This is a great tool to have and it is free to anyone who wants it.

The Seven Species as We Approach the 9th of Av

The Seven Species as We Approach the 9th of Av

We have had this ongoing argument this year about what month we are in. Are we correct in what we are saying here at sightedmoon.com that we are currently in the fifth month? Both Randy and I were in Israel, and we both showed you the barley to be Aviv at that time. Two witnesses who have done this before.

The other groups all have takanot that interferes with their judgments. For us, it is very simple. The barley must be in the state of being Green ears. That is the barley has headed and is still green. It has not begun to turn brown. This is what the word “Aviv” means-“Green Ears.” Not brown, not a harvest-ready field nor harvest-ready fields across the entire nation, not ready by the end of the 12th month or by the end of the 10th day of the 1st month, not when you can find the flax in the bud, not when a certain stork flies by, or when sheep give birth or any other invention created by men. These are all Takanot. Yehovah said Aviv, green ears is the first month. PERIOD!!!

The only catch to the green ears, Aviv, is that there must be barley with enough dough to roast, and then the roasted seed can be ground into flour.

You had two witnesses testify to you; the barley was Aviv. The same person who fights with everyone who disagrees with them accused Randy and me of cherry-picking the evidence and lying. The other group of Karaites will be keeping Shavuot this Sunday, June 16, 2024. Those following the Hillel group just kept Shavuot on Tuesday, June 11 this week.

So instead of calling “Brethren” names, instead of only showing evidence that backs up your position, let’s let Yehovah Himself show us all. We have been posting pictures taken by normal people living in Israel from the north to the south. They have no group they are trying to influence or attack. They are just pictures from the land of Israel happening at the time they posted the picture.

sightedmoon.com claims that we are currently in the fifth month. Some claim it is the fourth month, and the majority claim it is the third month of Shavuot. What does Yehovah say? He will show you if you watch the land.

Num 13:17 And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said to them, Go up this way, southward, and go up into the mountain.

Num 13:18 And see the land, what it is, and the people that live in it, whether it is strong or weak, few or many.

Num 13:19 And see what the land is that they live in, whether it is good or bad; and what cities they dwell in, whether in tents or in strongholds;

Num 13:20 and what the land is, whether fat or lean, whether there is wood in it or not. And be of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of first ripe grapes.

Num 13:21 So they went up and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin to Rehob, as men come to Hamath.

Num 13:22 And they went up by the south and came to Hebron, where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the sons of Anak were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)

Num 13:23 And they came to the valley of Eshcol and cut from there a branch with one cluster of grapes. And they carried it between two men upon a staff, and some of the pomegranates and of the figs.

Num 13:24 The place was called the valley of Eshcol because of the cluster of grapes which the sons of Israel cut down from there.

We showed you grapes, figs, and pomegranates three weeks ago that were nearing ripe.

Let me share some of the most recent pictures of the seven species taken near the kibbutz צל. I don’t know where this kibbutz is, but you can find it on a map. I have no recent pomegranate to show you.

The dates will not be ready until the 7th month, but you can see just how far along they have come in the 5th month. I believe the olives are harvested after Sukkot. But do notice the grapes, which is the one thing spoken of in Numbers above.

Those who post pictures of wheat being harvested now and associate that with Shavuot are not telling the whole truth. Shavuot is to be the beginning of the wheat harvest. They are telling you the wheat is being harvested now, to promote their takanot and their agenda. They are not about to repent for having kept the calendar at the wrong time. As we have shown you, they also know that the Barely has been harvested since early March, and the wheat has been harvested since April.

I want to encourage all of you to follow those who live in the land with no agendas and watch them as they randomly post pictures of the seven species from all over Israel and allow Yehovah Himself show you what stage the crops are at. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1629688417246907/media

May Yehovah bless you with the understanding and knowledge to then have the wisdom to discern His truths.

You are to offer the very first fruits of the Land to Yehovah. Not the second or thirds or from the end of the harvest. You are to give Him the first of your produce. If you are not watching then you cannot do this.

The Grape Harvest-The Time of Crisis

The Grape Harvest-The Time of Crisis

The 9th of the 5th month this year will be Sunday, June 16, 2024. This is the 9th of Av. Why should you remember this date? This date is after the 40 days from Shavuot when Moses went up to get the Ten Commandments and before the 40 days of mourning, which begins on the 1st of Elul.

We kept Wave Sheaf Day on March 3rd, 2024. Fifty days later, Shavuot was on April 21, 2024. Seven days after this date, Moses left the 70 elders on the plateau, went up the peak of Mount Sinai, and entered the cloud for 40 days.

Exo 24:9 And Moses went up, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel.

Exo 24:10 And they saw the God of Israel. And there wasunder His feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as the essence of the heavens for clearness.

Exo 24:11 And upon the nobles of the sons of Israel He did not lay his hands. Also they saw God, and ate and drank.

Exo 24:12 And Jehovah said to Moses, Come up to Me in the mountain, and be there. And I will give you tablets of stone, and the Law, and commandments which I have written, so that you may teach them.

Exo 24:13 And Moses rose up, and his attendant Joshua. And Moses went up into the mountain of God.

Exo 24:14 And he said to the elders, You stay here for us until we come again to you. And behold, Aaron and Hur are with you. If any man has any matters to do, let him come to them.

Exo 24:15 And Moses went up into the mountain, and a cloud covered the mountain.

Exo 24:16 And the glory of Jehovah abode upon Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

Exo 24:17 And the sight of the glory of Jehovah was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the sons of Israel.

Exo 24:18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and went up into the mountain. And Moses was in the mountain forty days and forty nights.

Using our current year to count we have Wave Sheaf Day on March 3, 2024. Fifty days later, it was April 21, 2024, and seven days after that, it was April 28, 2024, when Moses went up and began the 40 days he was with Yehovah. These 40 days ended on June 6, 2024, when Moses came down with the 10 commandments to see the Golden Calf being worshiped.

Exo 32:1 And the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, and the people gathered themselves to Aaron. And they said to him, Up! Make us gods who shall go before us. For this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.

Exo 32:2 And Aaron said to them, Break off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them to me.

Exo 32:3 And all the people broke off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron.

Exo 32:4 And he took them from their hand, and fashioned it with an engraving tool. And he made it a molten calf. And they said, These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

Exo 32:5 And when Aaron saw, he built an altar before it. And Aaron made proclamation and said, Tomorrow is a feast to Jehovah.

Exo 32:6 And they rose up early on the next day and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings. And the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

Exo 32:7 And Jehovah said to Moses, Go! Get down, for your people, whom you brought out of the land of Egypt, are corrupted.

Exo 32:8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them. They have made them a molten calf, and have worshiped it, and have sacrificed to it, and said, These are your gods, O Israel, who have brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

Exo 32:9 And Jehovah said to Moses, I have seen this people, and behold, it is a stiff-necked people.

Exo 32:10 And now leave Me alone, so that My wrath may become hot against them and so that I may consume them. And I will make of you a great nation.

Exo 32:11 And Moses prayed to Jehovah his God, and said, Jehovah, why does Your wrath become hot against Your people whom You have brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

Exo 32:12 Why should the Egyptians speak and say, He brought them out for harm, to kill them in the mountains and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from Your fierce wrath, and be moved to pity as to this evil against Your people.

Exo 32:13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Your own self, and said to them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give to your seed, and they shall inherit it forever.

Exo 32:14 And Jehovah repented as to the evil which He spoke of doing to His people.

Exo 32:15 And Moses turned, and went down from the mountain, and the two tablets of the testimony were in his hand. The tablets were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other.

Exo 32:16 And the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God. It was engraved on the tablets.

Exo 32:17 And Joshua heard the voice of the people in their shouting. And he said to Moses, A sound of war in the camp!

Exo 32:18 And he said, It is not a sound of a cry of victory, nor a sound of the cry of defeat. I am hearing the sound of singing.

Exo 32:19 And it happened, as he came near to the camp and saw the calf and dances, the anger of Moses became hot, and he threw the tablets out of his hands, and broke them at the bottom of the mountain.

Exo 32:20 And he took the calf which they had made and burned it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and dropped it upon the water, and made the sons of Israel drink of it.

Exo 32:21 And Moses said to Aaron, What did this people do to you, that you have brought so great a sin upon them?

Exo 32:22 And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord become hot. You know the people, that they are set on mischief.

Exo 32:23 For they said to me, Make us gods who shall go before us. For this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.

Exo 32:24 And I said to them, Whoever has any gold, let them break it off. And they gave it to me, and I threw it into the fire, and there came out this calf.

Exo 32:25 And when Moses saw that the people were naked, (for Aaron had made them naked to their shame among their enemies,)

Exo 32:26 then Moses stood in the gate of the camp and said, Who is on Jehovah’s side? Come to me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves to him.

Exo 32:27 And he said to them, Thus says Jehovah, the God of Israel: Each man put his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and kill each one his brother, and each one his neighbor, and each one his kindred.

Exo 32:28 And the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. And there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.

Exo 32:29 For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves today to Jehovah, since each one has been against his son, and against his brother, and in order to give you a blessing today.

Exo 32:30 And it happened on the next day, Moses said to the people, You have sinned a great sin. And now I will go up to Jehovah. Perhaps I shall make an atonement for your sin.

Exo 32:31 And Moses returned to Jehovah, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made themselves gods of gold.

Exo 32:32 And now will You forgive their sin! And if not, I pray You, blot me out of Your book which You have written.

Exo 32:33 And Jehovah said to Moses, Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.

Exo 32:34 And now go, lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you. Behold, My Angel shall go before you. And in the day of My visitation I will visit their sin upon them.

Exo 32:35 And Jehovah plagued the people because they made the calf, which Aaron made.

Right beside Mount Sinai, to this very day, is this huge graveyard containing about 3000 graves.

The Rabbis teach that Moses went back up Mount Sinai on the 1st of Elul and came back 40 days later, which was on the 10th of the 7th month, also called the Day of Atonement, when they were forgiven.

Israel’s proclivity to get into trouble began about the time Moses headed into the cloud seven days after Shavuot, which this year began around April 28. To further our point, the 12 spies were sent out to spy out the land on the 1st of the fourth month and returned 40 days later on the 9th of Av. This year, the first of the fourth month was May 10, 2024.

With June 6, 2024, being the 40th day after Shavuot and the 1st of Elul, the 6th month\, on July 8, 2024, being the start of the 40 days of repentance, we are now in the midst of the most dangerous season for Israel throughout our history and even going forward as we are told in the book of Revelation. This is approximately the 4th and 5th months throughout history.

This is also when the grapes are harvested and turned into wine. Understanding this leads us to understand the prophecy that takes place at this time.

Isa 63:1 Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah, this One adorned in His clothing, bending down in His great power? I who speak in righteousness, great to save.

Isa 63:2 Why is Your clothing red, and Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?

Isa 63:3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with Me; for I will tread them in My anger and trample them in My fury; and their blood will be sprinkled on My garments, and I will stain all My clothing.

Isa 63:4 For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come.

Isa 63:5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was no one to uphold; therefore My own arm has saved for Me; and My fury upheld Me.

Isa 63:6 And I will tread down the people in My anger, and make them drunk in My fury, and I will pour their juice to the earth.

Isa 65:6 Behold, it is written before Me; I will not be silent, except I will repay; yea, I will repay into their bosom

Isa 65:7 your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, says Jehovah, they that burned incense on the mountains, and blasphemed Me on the hills. And I will measure their former work into their bosom.

Isa 65:8 So says Jehovah, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it; so I will do to My servants, that I may not destroy them all.

Isa 65:9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah one who inherits My mountains; and My elect will inherit it, and My servants will dwell there.

Isa 65:10 And Sharon will be a fold of flocks, and the Valley of Achor a resting-place of herds for My people who have sought Me.

Isa 65:11 But you are those who forsake Jehovah, who forget My holy mountain, who prepare a table for Fortune, and who furnish the drink offering to Fate.

Isa 65:12 Therefore I will number you to the sword; and you will all bow down to the slaughter; because I called and you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not hear and did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I did not delight.

Isa 65:13 So the Lord Jehovah says, Behold, My servants will eat, but you will be hungry. Behold, My servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Behold, My servants will rejoice, but you will be ashamed.

Isa 65:14 Behold, My servants will sing for joy of heart, but you will cry for sorrow of heart, and will howl because of a breaking of spirit.

Isa 65:15 And you will leave your name for a curse to My elect; for the Lord Jehovah will kill you, and call His servants by another name.

Isa 65:16 He who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth. And he who swears in the earth will swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from My eyes.

Jol 3:2 I will also gather all nations and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will fight with them there for My people and for My inheritance Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land.

Jol 3:9 Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up.

Jol 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, I amstrong.

Jol 3:11 Gather yourselves and come, all you nations, and gather yourselves together all around; cause Your mighty ones to come down there, O Jehovah.

Jol 3:12 Let the nations be awakened and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the nations all around.

Jol 3:13 Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, come down; for the press is full; the vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.

Jol 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision; for the day of Jehovah is near in the valley of decision!

Jol 3:15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall gather in their light.

Jol 3:16 Jehovah shall also roar out of Zion and utter His voice from Jerusalem. And the heavens and the earth shall shake. But Jehovah will be the hope of His people and the strength of the sons of Israel.

In other articles, we have explained how the altar is Mount Golgatha and shown you how the blood from every sacrifice was thrown and splashed up against the sides of the altar, which represents what is about to happen on the day of judgment in the Valley of Judgment.

At the end of the Great Tribulation in 2033, the harvest of the Saints will take place on Shavuot that year. Those who are dead will be raised first, and those who are alive will be changed in the twinkling of an eye.

1Co 15:51 Behold, I speak a mystery to you; we shall not all fall asleep, but we shall all be changed;

1Co 15:52 in a moment, in a glance of an eye, at the last trumpet. For a trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall all be changed.

This is the first Angel of Yehovah doing the harvesting shown to us in Revelation.

Rev 14:14 And I looked, and behold, a white cloud. And on the cloud sat one like the Son of man, having a golden crown on His head, and a sharp sickle in His hand.

Rev 14:15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying in a great voice to Him sitting on the cloud, Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth was dried.

Rev 14:16 And He sitting on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.

This is Shavuot, and immediately after Shavuot is the grape harvest at the start of the fifth month, approximately. This is what the second Angel is shouting about coming out of the altar or from Mount Golgotha. Revelation 14 and Joel 3 are speaking of the same event.

Rev 14:17 And another angel came out of the temple in Heaven, also having a sharp sickle.

Rev 14:18 And another angel came out from the altar, who had authority over fire. And he spoke with a great cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.

Rev 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the anger of God.

Rev 14:20 And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even to the bridles of the horses, for the space of a thousand, six hundred stadia.

Prophetically, this time of year is something we all must pay great heed to. Hezbollah is firing hundreds of rockets and drones into Israel daily, it seems now. The IDF has closed the noose on Hamas in Gaza. The IDF is massing in preparations to invade Lebanon. Or Israel walking into a trap and about to be defeated so that only 1/3 is left.

Zec 13:7  Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, and against the Man who is My companion, says Jehovah of Hosts; strike the Shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered. And I will turn My hand on the little ones.

Zec 13:8  And it shall be in all the land, says Jehovah, two parts in it shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left in it.

Zec 13:9  And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on My name, and I will answer them; I will say, It is My people; and they shall say, Jehovah is my God.

Israel has not repented for setting up the abomination of the statue of Buddha, not have they repented for hosting and have Gary Pride parades in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. They do not see their sins.

Calamity Upon Calamity- Does Anyone Repent?

Calamity Upon Calamity- Does Anyone Repent?

The 9th of Av-It was on this date that many things in History took place which has caused us to mourn;

  • The Rebellion of the 10 spies, which incurred the curse of wandering in the wilderness for 40 years until they had all died.
  • The destruction of Solomon’s Temple
  • The Destruction of Herod’s Temple all took place at this same time.

It is my belief that Joseph was also thrown into the well at this time of year and sold to the Midians. I thought I did an article on this, but I am not able to find it at this moment.

I am also going to include here the fall of Samaria, although I have no exact date. Historians agree that Hoshea stopped tribute to the Assyrians in the fourth month of 726 BC, which resulted in Shalmaneser’s siege of Samaria for three years until Samaria fell in 723 BC. Hosea was arrested and later died in prison.

2Ki 17:1  In the twelfth year of Ahaz king of Judah, Hoshea the son of Elah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, nine years.

2Ki 17:2  And he did evil in the sight of Jehovah, but not like the kings of Israel who were before him.

2Ki 17:3  Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against him. And Hoshea became his servant and gave him taxes.

2Ki 17:4  And the king of Assyria found treachery in Hoshea, for he had sent messengers to So, king of Egypt, and had brought no taxes to the king of Assyria, as before, year by year. And the king of Assyria shut him up and bound him in prison.

2Ki 17:5  And the king of Assyria went up into all the land. And he went up to Samaria and besieged it three years.

We remember this day: whether you are a Jew or you are part of the Ten Tribes or a Gentile, it matters not. A great tragedy took place on this date.

2730 years after being expelled from Israel, the curse of Ezekiel`s 390-year X 7 prophecy began around the captivity in 723 BC. If we begin this curse with the siege and death of Hosea, then it ends in 2005. If we use the traditional date of the fall of Samaria in 721, then it ends in 2010. Whichever date you use, the Ten Northern tribes of Israel can return to the Land of Israel. Interestingly, sightedmoon.com began in 2005 with our understanding of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years.

So here is a more complete list of significant events on this date in Jewish history and why it is a time of mourning for the nation of Israel:

Av 9, 1377 BC – The ten spies brought the bad report leading to the wilderness wandering.
723 BC Samaria falls to Assyria Actual date not known Captivity begins 721 BC
Av 9, 586 BC – Babylonians destroy Solomon’s temple.
Av 9, 70 AD – Romans destroy 2nd temple.
Av 9, 135 AD – The Bar Kochba revolt was crushed by Roman Emperor Hadrian. The city of Betar — the Jews’ last stand against the Romans — was captured and liquidated. Over 100,000 Jews were slaughtered.
Av 9, 1290 AD – July 25, 1290 Jews forced out of England.
Av 9, 1492 AD – August 11, 1492 Jews forced out of Spain.
Av 9, 1914 AD – August 1, 1914 World War I Began (The immediate cause of the war was the June 28, 1914 assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, by Gavrilo Princip, a Bosnian Serb citizen of Austria-Hungary and member of the Black Hand. Wikipedia On August 1, 1914 Germany declared war on Russia)
Av 9, 1942 AD – July 23, 1942 – Treblinka extermination camp opened in occupied Poland, east of Warsaw. The camp is fitted with two buildings containing 10 gas chambers, each holding 200 persons. Carbon monoxide gas is piped in from engines placed outside the chamber, but Zyklon-B will later be substituted. Bodies are burned in open pits.
Av 9, 2005 AD – Starting at midnight on August 14, 2005, the entry and presence of Israeli citizens in the areas to be evacuated was prohibited under paragraph 22A of the Implementation of the Disengagement Plan Law 2005. Disengagement from the Gaza Strip was completed on August 22, and from northern Samaria on August 23, 2005.

I am also going to say that the fall of Adam and Eve took place at this time because they clothed themselves with a fig leaf. I am also going to say Joseph was sold to the Midianites on this date. But I am only speculating and have no proof to back that position.

This is why we read Lamentations at this time.

To understand the root of all of these calamities we must investigate the first event that took place on the 9th of Av. In this week’s Torah portion, Moses starts his final speech to the Israelite people where he rebukes them for their various mistakes and shortcomings throughout the forty years of wandering in the wilderness. One of the incidents of rebuke concerned the sending of the spies. Upon their return, the majority of the spies gave a negative report. This made the Israelite people nervous, and they did not want to proceed into the land of Israel. As it says, (Devarim 1:26-28): “And you did not want to ascend, and you rebelled against the word of HASHEM your G’d. You spoke evil in your tents and you said, ‘Because G’d hates us He took us out from the land of Egypt to deliver us into the hands of the Emorite to destroy us. To where shall we ascend? … A people greater and taller than we …:”

Time of weeping

Earlier (Bamidbar 14:1) the Torah related the return of the spies and the reaction of the people: “The entire assembly raised their voice and the people wept on that night.” Our sages (Taanis 29a) explain that it was the night of the 9th of Av when the Israelite people wept and G’d declared, “You were weeping without a cause. This night will be established as a time of weeping throughout the generations.”

Mind-boggling

It is mind-boggling how a small group of Israelite leaders could cause a whole nation to lose their faith in G’d who had taken them out of Egypt, split the Red Sea, and revealed Himself at Mount Sinai. As Moses responded (Devarim 1:30-33) “Don’t be broken and don’t fear them. HASHEM your G’d, Who goes ahead of you, He will fight for you, like all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes. And as you have seen in the wilderness that HASHEM your G’d carried you as a man carries his son. And in this matter, you don’t trust HASHEM your G’d?” How can people who experienced daily miracles with the Manna falling from Heaven to sustain them, and the well of Miriam following them throughout their journey in the wilderness, as well as the Clouds of Glory protecting them from their enemies and natural dangers, suddenly lose faith in the One who provided all these constant miracles? How could they even consider that G’d hated them, or, as our sages explain, that they feared that G’d did not have the power to conquer the land of Israel for them?

We also have the Temple again being destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. Why did Yehovah allow this a second time?

You have the curse coming on Israel the first time for not having Faith in Yehovah. You have the Temple being destroyed at this time in 586 BC because they were not obeying Yehovah. And we have the Temple destroyed in 70 AD. because they did not have a love for one another.

The Romans Destroy the Temple

In the year 66 AD the Jews of Judea rebelled against their Roman masters. In response, the Emperor Nero dispatched an army under the generalship of Vespasian to restore order. By the year 68, resistance in the northern part of the province had been eradicated and the Romans turned their full attention to the subjugation of Jerusalem. That same year, the Emperor Nero died by his own hand, creating a power vacuum in Rome. In the resultant chaos, Vespasian was declared Emperor and returned to the Imperial City. It fell to his son, Titus, to lead the remaining army in the assault on Jerusalem.

The Roman legions surrounded the city and began to slowly squeeze the life out of the Jewish stronghold. By the year 70, the attackers had breached Jerusalem’s outer walls and began a systematic ransacking of the city. The assault culminated in the burning and destruction of the Temple that served as the center of Judaism.

In victory, the Romans slaughtered thousands. Of those spared from death: thousands more were enslaved and sent to toil in the mines of Egypt, others were dispersed to arenas throughout the Empire to be butchered for the amusement of the public. The Temple’s sacred relics were taken to Rome where they were displayed in celebration of the victory.

The rebellion sputtered on for another three years and was finally extinguished in 73 AD with the fall of the various pockets of resistance including the stronghold at Masada.

What was the problem with the 10 spies?

Sat 17 June 2017 / 23 Sivan 5777 B”H Dr Maurice M. Mizrahi
Congregation Adat Reyim
Torah discussion on Shlach Lecha

What did the spies do wrong? Introduction

-Moses sends 12 spies to scout the land of Israel, at the request of the people [Deut. 1:22], who are not ready to accept God’s statement that the land is good and that He will grant them victory against its inhabitants.

-Ten of the 12 spies bring back an alarming report about the strength of the enemy and say that he cannot be defeated, which demoralizes the people. -God gets angry and decrees a forty-year wandering so the offenders will die before reaching the land.

What did the spies do wrong? Didn’t they do what spies are supposed to do?

The Lord spoke to Moses saying, “Send out for yourself men who will scout the Land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel… So Moses sent… [twelve] righteous men of distinction [including Joshua and Caleb]… Moses… said to them: …

“[Find out:] What [kind of] land is it? Are the people who inhabit it strong or weak? Are there few or many? [Is] the land… good or bad? [Are] the cities in camps or in fortresses? Is the soil fat or lean? Are there any trees in it or not?”

So they went up and explored the land… and returned… forty days later. They… came to Moses and Aaron and all… of Israel and [ten of the twelve spies] reported:

“…The land… is flowing with milk and honey, and this is its fruit.
However, the inhabitants are mighty, and the cities are extremely huge and fortified… We are unable to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we… The land… consumes its inhabitants, and all the people we saw in it are men of stature… giants… descended from the giants. In our eyes, we seemed like grasshoppers, and so were we in their eyes.”

[Numbers 13:1-33]

The entire community raised their voices and shouted, and the people wept on that night. [They] complained against Moses and Aaron… saying,

“…Why does the Lord bring us to this land to fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be as spoils. Is it not better for us to return to Egypt? … Let us appoint a leader and return to Egypt!” Moses and Aaron fell on their faces… and Joshua and Caleb [the two dissenting spies] tore their clothes and said: “The land… is exceedingly good… The Lord… will bring us there and give it to us… Do not fear the inhabitants because… their protection is removed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.”

The entire congregation threatened to pelt them with stones… The Lord said to Moses:

“How long will this people provoke Me? How much longer will they not believe in Me after all the signs I have performed in their midst? I will strike them with a plague and annihilate them…”

Moses said…
“But [then] the nations… will say… ‘Since the Lord lacked the ability to [give Israel the land] He slaughtered them in the desert…’ Please forgive…”

And the Lord said:
“I… forgive… However… how much longer will I have to put up with this evil congregation? … All those from the age of twenty and up… shall [not] come into the Land… except Caleb and Joshua… I will bring [your infants there]… but as for you, your corpses shall fall in this desert [after] wandering for forty years.”

[The ten spies] who spread an evil report about the Land died in a plague… The people said: …

“We are ready to go up to the place of which the Lord spoke, for we have

sinned.” [Numbers 14:1-40]

The spies’ report came on the 9th of Av. Mishna: Every major disaster in Jewish history is connected to this date, beginning with the incident of the spies. [Taanit 4:6]

What did the spies do wrong?

They scared and demoralized the people.

Counter: 39 years later, Moses himself said the same to their children, as they were about to enter the Promised Land:

You will be coming to conquer nations that are greater and more powerful than you, with great cities, fortified to the skies. They are a great nation, as tall as giants… [Deut. 9:1-2]

Counter-counter: Moses was saying that to young men, to bring some realism into their enthusiasm.
They doubted God’s power. Their very mission implied doubt about the value of God’s gift and God’s ability to deliver it.
-God said “Send for yourself”, meaning “I am not commanding you, but if you wish, you may send.” Indeed, the people had come to Moses asking for that. [Deut. 1:22]

-Talmud: God told Moses, “I told them that the land is good. By their lives! Now I will give them the opportunity to fall into error through the words of the spies, so that they will not inherit it.” [Sotah 34b, Midrash Tanchuma, Shlach 5] -But spying for military preparations is OK. The Torah does not tell us to rely on miracles. It’s the spies’ presentation that was not OK. [Ramban]

They thought God may have changed His mind.

The spies reasoned that since Israel had sinned with the Golden Calf and in many places, God may not honor His promise of the land.

They asked themselves: “Why is God treating us like royalty when we are not deserving of such treatment?” Because of their sense of unworthiness the Jewish people could not have absolute trust in God. [Chafetz Chayyim]

They did not do a thorough job.

-Moses had tasked the spies: Find out if the people who inhabit the land are strong or weak. Implies physically and morally.
They did not report (or did not try to find out) what the inhabitants thought of them. Forty years later, Rahav in Jericho tells the spies sent by Joshua that the inhabitants feared Israel:

I know that the Lord has given you the land, and that a great fear of you has fallen upon us. All the inhabitants of the land faint because of you… As soon as we heard [of the miracles God performed for you] our hearts melted, no courage remained in any man, because of you. [Joshua 2:9-11].

-And the Jews themselves knew that. Earlier, in their Song at the Sea, they had said:

The people of Canaan will melt away. Terror and dread will fall on them. [Ex. 15:15-16]

-The spies made unwarranted assumptions. They said: “In our eyes, we

seemed like grasshoppers, and so were we in their eyes.” In Talmud,

Rabbi Mesharsheya asks:
The spies were liars. As regards “In our eyes, we seemed like grasshoppers”, very well; but how could they know that “so were we in their eyes”? [Sotah 35a]

How did the spies know how the inhabitants saw ISrael?

Being former slaves, they were fearful.

Their fear was greater than their faith, because they had been slaves. They were not ready to fight battles and be free in their own land. That would take a new generation, born in freedom. [Rambam, Guide for the Perplexed 3:32]

They wanted to continue to live in the desert, in isolation with a direct spiritual connection to God.
Hassidic masters: The spies did not doubt Israel could win battles, they just did not want to lose their unique relationship with God in the desert, removed from civilization and its problems. They did not want to become just another nation. They were not ready to “leave home and launch”.

But God wanted engagement with the world, not retreat from it. [Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi]

They went beyond their mission.

Spies are only supposed to provide hard information dispassionately. They have no business coloring their report with alarmist language or advising on a course of action. [Ramban on Num. 13:1, 13:27; Akeidat Yitzchak (Rabbi Yitzchak Arama, 15th- century Spain and Italy); Malbim on Num. 13:2]

They reported to the whole people.

Spies are supposed to report only to the leaders, not to the whole people!

The leaders then decide what to disclose, to whom and when. [Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch, 19th century Germany]

They spoke lashon hara against the land and God.

The Talmud says:
-It was taught: Rabbi Eleazar ben Perata said, “Come and see how great is the power of an evil tongue! From where do we know [its power]? From the spies, because if this is what happens to those who bring an evil report against wood and stones, how much more will it happen to one who brings an evil report against his neighbor!”
How does it follow? Perhaps it is as explained by Rabbi Hanina ben Papa… who said: “A stark thing did the spies say in that hour, as it is written: ‘For they are stronger than we.’” [The implication being “stronger than God”, since God is with us.] [Arachin 15a]
-Rabbi Yochanan said in the name of Rabbi Meir: The spies began with a true report and then spoke ill, because any piece of slander needs some truth in the beginning to be heard through to the end. [Sotah 35a]

They were affected by their people’s attitude.

When one represents another, he is affected by the mindset of that other. Israel was distrustful of Hashem, and this colored the spies’ judgment.

Today we are just about to begin the greatest event in history and many of you are scared to move forward. We shared with you last week about the Second Great Exodus that is going to take place in the very near future. But first, there must be another great captivity, which means that many millions in the 12 tribes of Israel are about to die.

The Lord Will Restore Israel

Eze 20:33  As I live, says the Lord Jehovah, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, I will reign over you.

Eze 20:34  And I will bring you out from the people, and I will gather you out of the lands in which you are scattered among them, with a mighty hand and with a stretched out arm and with fury poured out.

Eze 20:35  And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face.

Eze 20:36  Just as I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will enter into judgment with you, says the Lord Jehovah.

Eze 20:37  And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant.

Eze 20:38  And I will purge out from among you the rebels and those who sin against Me. I will bring them out from the land where they reside, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.

Eze 20:39  And you, O house of Israel, so says the Lord Jehovah: Every man go and serve his idols, and do so from now on if you will not listen to Me. But never again defile My holy name with your gifts and with your idols.

Brethren these are very strong words to ponder. And when you consider just who that rod is that you will pass under….

Isa 10:3  And what will you do in the day of judgment and in destruction, of ruin when it comes from afar? To whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave your glory?

Isa 10:4  Surely they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. In all this His hand is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Judgment on Arrogant Assyria

Isa 10:5  Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger! And the staff in their hand is My fury.

Isa 10:6  I will send him against an ungodly nation, and against the people of My wrath. I will command him to take the plunder, and to strip off the spoil, and to trample them like the mud of the streets.

Isa 10:7  Yet he does not plan this, nor does his heart think so. For it is in his heart to destroy and cut off not a few nations.

The nations of Israel are about to pass under the Rod of the Assyrians. What this means is that every tenth one is holy or set apart while the other nine are for slaughter.

Isa 13:6  Howl! For the day of Jehovah is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

Isa 13:7  Therefore all hands shall be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt;

Isa 13:8  and they shall be afraid. Pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them. They shall be in pain like a woman who travails. They shall be amazed at one another, their faces like flames.

Isa 13:9  Behold, the day of Jehovah comes, cruel and with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land waste; and He shall destroy its sinners out of it.

Isa 13:10  For the stars of the heavens and their constellations shall not give light; the sun shall be darkened in its going forth, and the moon shall not reflect its light.

Isa 13:11  And I will visit evil on the world, and their iniquity on the wicked. And I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will lay low the pride of tyrants.

Isa 13:12  I will make a man more precious than gold; even a man than the fine gold of Ophir.

Even though we were sent a very strong punishment in 2020, and then Israel on Oct 7 , 2023, no one repents. Not one of the 12 tribes of Israel is repenting. No not even one of the states or any of the provinces in any of the 12 tribes are falling on their faces and praying to Yehovah asking for forgiveness and then turning and returning to keeping the Torah. No NOT ONE!

There is no one calling for fasting and prayers at this time.

Brethren, you know these things. I have explained this and much more to you many times now over the past 19 years, through videos, books and endless newsletters. You all know and understand just how few years are left in this 6th Millennial day. You all know.

And you all know what you are being told to do in order to protect yourself and your loved ones from the fury of Yehovah that is coming.

Lev 26:23  And if you will not be reformed by Me by these things, but will still walk contrary to Me,

Lev 26:24  then I will walk contrary to you and will punish you seven times more for your sins.

Lev 26:25  And I will bring a sword on you that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant. And when you are gathered inside your cities, I will send the plague among you. And you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

Lev 26:26  When I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight. And you shall eat and not be satisfied.

Isa 26:20  Come, my people, enter into your rooms and shut your doors around you; hide for a little moment, until the fury has passedby.

I have told you many times to look up the Hebrew word for rooms and to compare it to the Kedar in Isaiah 42.

Isa 42:11  Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voice, the villages where Kedar dwells. Let the dwellers of the rock sing, let them shout from the mountain tops.

Yehovah has called you and brought you to this site and to understand the things we have taught you here at sightedmoon.com. Yehovah brought you here. Yehovah gave you this understanding. He called you to this point to do a work. He has called you and blessed you to be able to help do this end-time work.

So I have to ask you. Why do so many of you sit there with your talent, whether one two or five talents all stuck safely away in your pockets? Why are you not helping us to do this work? Why do many of you waste your time studying things that just do not matter?

I wrote you earlier this year an article “So Now What?”. In it, I told you what I was going to do. I am charging ahead and I will prepare that room, that chamber, that Chedar.

Again I tell you to look up the Hebrew word Chedar in Isaiah 26:20. Here is the Pictograph meaning of the word. Chet Dalet Rosh.

2150) Rdh% (Rdh% HhDR) ac: Surround co: Chamber ab: ?:The surrounding walls of a chamber providing privacy and security. [from: dh – as surrounded by walls with a door]

Mat 13:34  Jesus spoke all these things to the crowds in parables, and He did not speak to them without a parable,

Mat 13:35  so that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.”

I wonder at times why I bother to share these things with you all. And then I am reminded of the things I said to Yehovah way back in 2005 when I said here I am, send me, to speak about the Jubilee Cycles. When I read the rest of the verse in Isaiah I am saddened to know these things are coming true. People get excited but will not change and will not return to Yehovah and be healed. Maybe this is why so few step forward and help to do this work. They have faith but no works.

Isa 6:8  And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, Here am I; send me!

Isa 6:9  And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know.

Isa 6:10  Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed.

Isa 6:11  Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation,

Isa 6:12  and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Isa 6:13  But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return and be consumed like the terebinth and like the oak being felled, yet has its stump; the holy seed is its stump.

Israel did not believe Yehovah would do mighty works for them so that they could have entered the land two years after the Exodus. And because of that, they had to spend the next 40 years waiting in the wilderness for that whole generation to die.

You have a decision to make. You get to choose which way you will go. Or you can come up with all sorts of excuses and logical reasons for going back to Egypt. But they all come down to one explanaition. You have no faith in Yehovah.

I have no clue how this is all going to work out. I do know how little time it left. And I read the scriptures the same as you can. I am choosing to use the knowledge the scriptures has given us and to help be part of preparing a people that have a job to do. And at the same time get myself and my family out of the line of fire that is soon going to begin.

Golgotha

Golgotha

The Crucifixion Site of Jesus By: Ernest L Martin

Bible and Spade (Autumn 1992)

Since the publication of my book Secrets of Golgotha in the Spring of 1988, there has been a steady flow of new information which shows that the crucifixion of Jesus took place on the Mount of Olives. Some of the evidence has come from other scholars who have seen the fact that Jesus was executed somewhere near the summit of Olivet. A great deal has also been arrived at by further research of my own. What is emerging is real evidence that the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Garden Tomb located in Jerusalem are nowhere near the proper spot where the actual crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus took place. This fact has revolutionary consequences associated with it. This is because the Roman Catholic Church, the Greek Orthodox Church, the Armenian Orthodox churches for the past 1660 years have generally accepted the area associated with the Church of the Holy Sepulchre as the crucifixion site. Even classical historians have thought the site has most of the historical credentials to justify its acceptance by the scholarly world. But this new evidence shows that the Constantinian Church is thoroughly wrong. The Bible and history plainly establish that the Mount of Olives is the real place of the crucifixion.
Just over 118 years ago in the Palestine Exploration Quarterly (1873, 115; also 1870, 379–381) Dr. Hutchinson suggested that the crucifixion of Jesus must have taken place east of the Temple Mount — which placed it on the Mount of Olives. Until the publication of my book Secrets of Golgotha, that is the last scholarly indication I have found which suggests that the crucifixion happened on Olivet. Since AD 1873, the only candidates for the site have been the Church of the Holy Sepulchre which was built west of the second wall of Jerusalem or at the Garden Tomb region north and east of the Damascus Gate. But my book shows from the New Testament and early Jewish records that the southern summit of the Mount of Olives near the altar “without the sanctuary” where the Red Heifer was burnt to ashes (Ez 43:21) has far greater credentials for being the site.

Sacrifice of the Red Heifer:

The first point to notice is that the burning of the Red Heifer and Jesus’ crucifixion were symbolically connected in a precise way by Christians who lived during the period of Herod’s Temple. The author of the Book of Hebrews (about AD 61) stated that Jesus was a “sin offering” for the world and that His sin-atoning death epitomized the symbolic role of all the sin offerings sacrificed at the Temple (Heb 10:8–14). The major sin offerings were burnt to ashes at an altar region east of the Temple near the top of the Mount of Olives. Besides that, all of the ashes of the other sacrifices offered at the Altar of Burnt Offering in the Temple itself were deposited at the same altar east of the Temple on Olivet (Lv 4:126:11). The author of Hebrews also connected the ashes of the Red Heifer (which were mixed with pure spring water) with the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus which occurred at the precise time of his crucifixion (Heb 9:1314). And particularly note this point. In the Letter of Barnabas (written by a person from Jerusalem about AD 90), the author stated that the Red Heifer in Christian circles was reckoned as Jesus. “The calf is Jesus: the sinful men offering it are those who led him to the slaughter” (8:2). Remarkably, very few Christian historians have asked: “Where was this Red Heifer altar?”
As explained in my book Secrets of Golgotha, the early Jewish records found in the Mishnah plainly state that the Red Heifer altar was located directly east of the Temple that existed in Jesus’ time and that it was just shy of the summit of the Mount of Olives (Middoth 1:3; 2:4; Yoma 7:2; along with the Talmud in Yoma 68a and Zebahim 105b). And here we find the author of the Letter of Barnabas directly stating that “the calf [heifer] is Jesus” and that “the sinful men offering it are those who led him [Jesus] to the slaughter” (8:2). It is well known in Jewish circles that the priests did indeed lead the heifer from the Temple on Mount Moriah eastward across a double-tiered arched bridge (called the Bridge of the Red Heifer) to an altar just outside the camp near the summit of Olivet. This is where they sacrificed and burnt to ashes the Red Heifer. This first century identification of Jesus with the Red Heifer is clear proof that early Jewish Christians connected the sacrifice of the heifer on the summit of Olivet with the death of Jesus which took place in the same vicinity But no sacrifices of the Temple were ever connected with the western area of the “Holy Sepulchre.”

Geographical Features:

While we moderns have wondered if we should use geographical features associated with the sin offerings as having literal geographical relationships to actual events in the life of Jesus, such usages were commonly applied by Biblical writers. Matthew symbolically associated a prophecy about Israel coming out of Egypt with Jesus and his stay in Egypt. While “Israel” of the prophecy could only symbolically refer to Jesus, Jesus still had to have been literally in Egypt for the symbol to be applied in any sensible way. Also, the symbolic teaching of Rachel weeping in Ramah could only be applied to those in Bethlehem because that is where Rachel’s cenotaph was located. Also, Isaiah’s reference to the lands of Zebulun and Naphtali could only apply to Jesus because these lands were in Galilee where Jesus taught. Thus, the geography associated with the symbols must be literal even if the symbols are not.
As an example, note a further geographical reference in the book of Hebrews associating the sin offerings of the Temple with the crucifixion of Jesus. The author stated that Jesus carried His reproach (the cross-piece for His crucifixion) to an altar located “outside the gate,” even “outside the camp” (Heb 13:10–14). There was the literal altar on Olivet that matches the author’s illustration. Indeed, in this case the author used the Tabernacle of Moses as his standard of reference (the Jewish authorities did the same thing in the Mishnah about a century later). It is important to note that the Tabernacle only had eastern gates. By using the Tabernacle as a standard, this points to the “gate” through which Jesus went to His crucifixion as being the east gate in the outer wall surrounding the Temple. Interestingly, this eastern gate was the same gate through which the major sin offering and the Red Heifer were taken to Olivet. The roadway through the eastern gate was designed specifically by the Jewish authorities to lead directly to the altar “outside the camp” where the Red Heifer was burnt to ashes. Early Jewish Christians were keenly aware of these ritualistic connections of the sin offerings with the death of Jesus. Geographically, these historical and Biblical texts about His crucifixion direct us to Olivet.
Furthermore, this Red Heifer altar was located just “outside the camp” which was at least 2000 cubits east of the Hall of the Sanhedrin then situated at the Chamber of Hewn Stones in the Temple, located on the left side of the Altar of Burnt Offering (Middoth 5:4; Sanhedrin 11:2; Yoma 25a). Indeed, just before Jesus was crucified, He was actually condemned to be executed while He stood before the Sanhedrin in the Chamber of Hewn Stones on the Temple Mount (see Shabbath 15a and Rosh ha-Shanah 31a, b). Since it was then the Passover season, the chief priest (the president of the Sanhedrin who was Caiaphas) and his deputy (Annas, the Sagan) were required to be resident in their quarters within the precincts of the Temple. They were then living in their official “houses” which were located in the Temple compound itself (Middoth 5:4; Encyclopaedia Judaica III.991). This is when the top priestly authorities left their own private houses (no doubt located on the aristocratic southwest hill of Jerusalem) and they took up residence within the Temple itself.
There were special times in the Jewish ecclesiastical year when residence within the Temple was essential for the High Priest and his deputy. For the seven days prior to offering the Red Heifer, the High Priest had to stay in his Temple “house” called the “House of Stone” (Parah 3:1). For the seven days prior to the Day of Atonement the High Priest had to reside within his “house” on the Temple Mount (Yoma 1:1). Though Josephus did not mention the Temple residency of the priests, he did state that such attendance at the Temple was a requirement for weekly Sabbaths, new moons and annual festivals (War V.230). Since Jesus was judged by the Jewish authorities at the Passover season, Caiaphas and Annas were not at their private homes during Jesus’ interrogation. Jesus was judged by the chief priests and condemned by the Sanhedrin while all parties were within the Temple enclosure. From the Christian point of view, this meant that Jesus was judged to die in His own Father’s House. He was sentenced to die “in the presence of God” who symbolically dwelt in the Holy of Holies.
After his judgment by the Sanhedrin on the Temple Mount, Jesus was then taken a short distance to the northwest part of the Temple courtyard where there was a stairway that led to Fort Antonia where Pilate was amongst his troops. Being at Antonia during Passover provided Pilate with a personal command over his resident army in order to properly control the festival crowds in Jerusalem, and especially those within the Temple precincts. After interrogating Jesus, Pilate washed his hands of the matter. Jesus was then led out of Fort Antonia and through the east gate of the Temple (which was also the east gate of Jerusalem) and taken over the two-tiered arched bridge of the Kidron Valley to the summit of Olivet near where the Red Heifer was sacrificed — a prominent area in Jerusalem.

The Area of Judgment:

This eastern area where Jesus was executed was famous for another reason. Jesus was actually crucified in the official area of Jerusalem that was designed for the execution of criminals and in the region that the Jewish authorities believed was the symbolic place where the whole world would one day be judged by God. This was the area directly east of the Temple but located “outside the camp” of Israel (Nm 15:35). The limits of the camp were determined in the time of Jesus to be a radius of 2000 cubits (near 3000 ft) from the Court of the Sanhedrin in the Temple (Rosh ha-Shanah 2:5, see also Sanhedrin 1:5 and Shebuoth 2:2 for the authority of the Jewish Supreme Court to set the limits of the camp). This factor alone disqualifies the present sites of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Garden Tomb from being the place of Jesus’ crucifixion (even though outside the walls) because both sites were within the official region of the “camp.”
The authorized place of execution for criminals in the time of Jesus had to be at least 2000 cubits from the Court of the Sanhedrin on the Temple Mount, but it had to be in a place where the condemned could see the entrances to the Temple located in a westward direction. The Biblical examples for judicial sentencing of people for their criminal acts in the time of Moses show they took place on the east side of the Sanctuary. Women accused of adultery were brought for judgment “before the Lord”, that is, to the east entrance of the Sanctuary (Nm 5:16–31). The two sons of Aaron were judged “before the Lord” on the east side of the Sanctuary (Lv 10:1–7). Korah and his Levites were also punished east of the Tabernacle (Nm 16:41–50).
It was important for official judgments to be rendered and executed east of the Temple. This allowed the judgments to be made “in the presence of God,” who figuratively faced east from his Sanctuary. Because of this, both the Sanhedrin and the lesser courts at Jerusalem in the time of Jesus were located in the Temple to the east of the Holy Place (Cohen 1949:299). It was reckoned that while God was symbolically sitting in the Holy of Holies, he could watch the proceedings going on in the law courts. God supposedly faced east while sitting on his Temple throne. Thus God in a figurative way had a panoramic view of all the ritualistic and judicial duties of his people which were being conducted east of the Sanctuary. This allowed all ceremonies (both religious and secular) to be done “in the presence of God.” It is remarkable that many textbooks written by Christian theologians fail to mention the importance of this eastern area in this regard nor do they show the location of the altar “without the Sanctuary” (Ez 43:21) where the Red Heifer was sacrificed and where the Day of Atonement sin offerings were burnt.
This eastern location was also significant in judicial matters involving capital crimes. Moses demanded that the place of executions had to be “outside the camp” (Nm 15:3536). All ritual sacrifices were offered east of the Sanctuary and in full view of God who figuratively dwelt in the Holy of Holies, and the prime sin offerings were burnt “outside the camp” at the summit of Olivet. And in Jewish practice, heinous criminals were required to be their own “sin offerings” in paying for their sins (without having the benefit of an animal sacrifice as a substitute) (Cohen 1949:185, n. 1).
Since the major sin offerings were sacrificed near the summit of the Mount of Olives, this is why criminals were “sacrificed” as being their own sin offerings in the same vicinity. This is precisely the area where the later Jerusalem church believed Stephen was officially executed by the Sanhedrin (Wilkinson 1981:185, n. 1). This was known by the Jews as “the Place of Stoning” (Sanhedrin 6:1, 2, 3, 4). It was just “outside the camp” but in full view of the eastern entrances of the Temple. The Temple curtain in front of the Holy Place could easily be seen from this prospect and the New Testament shows that when the Temple curtain tore in two at the moment of Jesus’ death that the centurion and the others around the crucifixion site viewed that phenomenon taking place (see especially Lk 23:44–47and Mt 27:54). From outside the walls of Jerusalem the curtain could only be seen from an elevated site east of the Temple. The area of the “Holy Sepulchre” is disqualified because from there only the back parts of the Temple could be seen. Besides, Josephus shows that the site of the “Holy Sepulchre” was the spot of the Tomb of John Hyrcanus (a respected Jewish king of the Hasmonians) and such a shrine would never have been selected by the Jewish authorities as a place to execute criminals. But the summit of Olivet is different. Everything fits perfectly.

Golgotha—Mount of the Skull:

The Bordeaux Pilgrim in AD 333 said that at the southern summit of Olivet there was a small knoll or hillock (called in Latin a monticulus). In the time of David this region was known as the rosh (that is, “the head”) (2 Sm 15:30) and remarkably the Hebrew word “Golgotha” also means “head” or “skull.” Such a usage shows that “Golgotha” (or the rosh) was a well-known place at the summit of Olivet.
Golgotha was even reckoned among the Jews as being on a mountain. Professor James Tabor in his review of my research in Secrets of Golgotha (1991:213–215) gives new information to sustain my thesis for Olivet: An interesting support of Martin’s thesis, which he does not note, is that the Hebrew text of Matthew known as Even Bohan refers to the place of crucifixion as Mount (har) of the Skull (see G. Howard, The Gospel of Matthew according to a Primitive Hebrew Text [Macon, GA: Mercer University Press, 1988]).
For Golgotha to have been reckoned as a mountain (har) in the Jerusalem area gives the Mount of Olives considerable credentials as being the place of Jesus’ crucifixion. Dr. Tabor, of the University of North Carolina, concludes his favorable review of my research by stating: All in all Martin’s work is valuable, fascinating, and certainly pioneering. His hypothesis deserves attention from historians, New Testament scholars, and archaeologists.
There are numerous historical reasons for selecting Olivet as the place of Jesus’ crucifixion. In the recently translated Temple Scroll, Yadin pointed out that all people bearing religious defilements which prevented them from entering the holy city or the Temple were directed to stay east of the ideal Sanctuary region mentioned in the scroll (1985:177). Evil and defiled people (sinners) were kept east of Jerusalem in order to prevent any “winds of evil” from flowing over the holy city from the west. This is one of the reasons the sin offering of the Red Heifer and those of the Day of Atonement (which were to atone for sins) were burnt to ashes in this eastern area “outside the camp” (Lv 4:2116:27). Yadin suggested that a part of this eastern region which had been put aside for defiled persons was even referred to in the New Testament (e.g., Mk 14:3).
Since all sin offerings were sacrificed (or “executed”) east of the Holy Place of the Temple, and the most important ones were sacrificed further east at the Red Heifer altar on Olivet, this easterly region of the Temple became known as the place where God dealt with sin — where all the sins of the world will be judged. This is one reason why the Kidron Valley separating the Temple from the Mount of Olives became known as the Valley of Jehoshaphat (the valley where “God Judges”). Even to this day Jews, Muslims and Christians consider the summit and western slope of Olivet as the ordained place where God will judge all people in the world for their sins. Charles Warren in Hasting’s Dictionary of the Bible listed over 14 Christian authorities (from the Bordeaux Pilgrim onward) who attested to this belief (II.562). This is why it was important, from the Christian point of view, that Jesus died in this eastern region which was reckoned the judgment place for all mankind. For Jesus to be judged as dying for the sins of all mankind, Christians thought that He had to be judged in the place where all mankind were designed to be judged for their sins.
Silwan is the City directly across from the City of David and Silwan means pillar. At the top of the mountain is Masjid Ras al-‘Amud (مسجد رأس العامود), which in Arabic means ‘the head of the column’. If Silwan is the pillar or column then Ras Al-Amud is the head of that column. Again the Mount of Golgotha which means the head is preserved in the Arabic language. It is also in this same place that the main historic road that connects Jerusalem and Jericho. Yehshua was to have been executed along a main road for all to see.

Muslim Beliefs:

Even Muslims (who inherited many traditional beliefs from the Jews and Christians) firmly believe that the summit and the western slope of the Mount of Olives is the judgment area for mankind. The Encyclopaedia Judaica has an interesting excerpt about this: All the dead will congregate on the Mount of Olives and the angel Gabriel will move paradise to the right of Allah’s throne and hell to its left. All mankind will cross a long bridge suspended from the Mount of Olives to the Temple Mount, which will be narrower than a hair, sharper than a sword, and darker than night. Along this bridge there will be seven arches and at each arch man will be asked to account for his actions (IX col. 1576).
This is the Muslim account. It is easy to see that this traditional Muslim belief is based on the geography of the Temple and the Red Heifer arched bridge over the Kidron Valley that existed in Jesus’ time. Indeed, the Hebrew word for the altar where the Red Heifer was burnt to ashes is miphkad (see Ez 43:21). This word means “muster” or the place where people “congregate” or “gather together.” And in traditional teaching, it was at or near this site on Olivet where all mankind would “congregate” to be judged. This teaching can be seen in the New Testament itself. When the Son of Man returns with all His angels, He shall sit on His glorious throne and He will then “gather together” before Him for judgment all the nations of the world. Those selected to be on His right hand will go into the Kingdom of God while those on His left will go into the fire of perdition (Mt 25:31–46). The geographical features of this teaching of Jesus (from the Jewish point of view in the first century) shows Jesus sitting on His glorious throne (which was in the Sanctuary of the Temple) and all the nations were then depicted as gathering together before Him at the summit and on the western slope of the Mount of Olives to face Him for judgment. This allowed them to be judged “in the presence of Jesus.” The Book of Revelation also spoke of the wicked being tormented in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb (Rv 14:10). To be judged “in the presence of God” while He sits on His throne locates these individuals at the summit or on the western slope of the Mount of Olives. Again, this is why, even to Christians, the region of the Kidron Valley became known as the Valley of Jehoshaphat — the place for God’s judgment.
Conversely, the present Church of the Holy Sepulchre as well as the Garden Tomb are located west and north of the Temple. These sites were in no way areas of judgment, as was Olivet and its western slopes. These sites are further disqualified, though they were outside the western and northern walls of Jerusalem, because they were still located within the 2000 cubit zone of the “camp of Israel” as measured from the Sanhedrin located in the Temple.

The Testimony of Eusebius:

In conclusion, Christians in Jerusalem as late as the early fourth century knew that Jesus was crucified and buried on the Mount of Olives. In fact, Eusebius (the first Christian historian) stated that the only area to which pre-Constantinian Christians paid any attention in the environs of Jerusalem was the Mount of Olives, and specifically to a cave near its summit (Proof of the Gospel, VI.18). The Acts of John also mentioned the importance of this cave 100 years before Eusebius (Charlesworth I.301). In another work (The Acts of Pilate), we find that it was described as both a cave and as a tomb in the same context (bk.XII,XIII). Even the tomb of Lazarus had been a cave before it was a tomb (Jn 11:38).
When one views the evidence carefully, it can be seen that pre-Constantinian
Christians reckoned this cave on Olivet to be the ruins of the tomb of Jesus. Prior to Constantine, there is no evidence (either orthodox or heretical) that the later site of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the western part of Jerusalem was in any way significant to Christians nor was the southwest hill important that came to be called “Sion” after the time of Constantine. Indeed, when Eusebius first heard in AD 326 that Constantine and his mother were selecting a Venus Shrine as the site of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, he stated that such was “contrary to all expectation” (Life of Constantine III.28). At the dedication of the “Holy Sepulchre” in AD 335, Eusebius requested Constantine to inform the assembled bishops his reasons for building that church. The reasons were “SECRET to us [Eusebius and the bishops], but known TO YOU ALONE…which caused YOU to RAISE UP this sacred edifice (Oration of Eusebius, XVIII, emphasis mine). There were no historical documents or traditions which were retained by Christians at Jerusalem to support its legitimacy. It was selected because of the dreams, visions and supposed miraculous signs associated with Constantine and his advisors. The early church historian Sozomen felt that historical records were not necessary when visions and dreams presented the “real facts” to the Christian world (History II.1).
Eusebius showed in his works written before AD 326 that Jesus was actually crucified on what he called the symbolic “Mount Sion” for Christians. Three times in his Proof of the Gospel (I.4; VI.13; IX.14) he identified the Christian “Mount Sion” as being where Jesus spent most of His time when He was in the area of Jerusalem and that spot was on the Mount of Olives (Mk 11:1Lk 21:3722:39Jn 18:2). Eusebius also said the shekinah left Mount Moriah and went eastward to abide on this Christian “Mount Sion” that was located “adjacent to” or “opposite” Jerusalem and the Temple Mount — an apt geographical description of the Mount of Olives (Proof of the Gospel, I.4; VI.18). To Eusebius, Olivet was where the New Covenant began when the Temple veil tore in two (VIII.2). Eusebius even stated that the Christian church was founded on Olivet (VI.18) and Jerome reiterated the same belief (Letter CVIII.12). And in his commentary on Isaiah (written before AD 326), Eusebius made the plain statement that this new “Mount Sion” (Olivet) was actually the site of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus (Is 2:1–4; see Walker, Holy City, Holy Places?, pp.302,305). This makes the top of Olivet to be Calvary.

The Altar & The Wheels

The Altar & The Wheels

The past few days, I have been here in Israel thinking. September 22, has come and gone. Today is Shabbat. Will the abomination be set up today the 23, or Sunday the 24th or Monday, the Day of Atonement according to the Hillel calendar, September 25, 2023?

All I can do is wait and watch.

As I sit here at the crucifixion site, a thought occurred to me. We have written to you about the Shekinah moving from the Temple to the Mount across from Jerusalem. And we have identified that Mountain as Golgotha and how it was the Altar. We explain this in our book The Abomination That Makes Desolate.

Here is the verse that came to mind.

Lev 6:8  And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Lev 6:9  Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering. It is the burnt offering for burning on the altar all night to the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.

Lev 6:10  And the priest shall put on his linen garment. And he shall put his linen breeches on his flesh and take up the ashes which the fire has consumed with the burnt offering on the altar. And he shall put them beside the altar.

Lev 6:11  And he shall strip off his garments and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes outside the camp to a clean place.

Lev 6:12  And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it. It shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it. And he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings.

Lev 6:13  The fire shall always be burning on the altar. It shall never go out.

We read in Lev 9 how Yehovah consumed everything on the Altar.

Lev 9:22  And Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering the sin offering and the burnt offering and peace offerings.

Lev 9:23  And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out and blessed the people. And the glory of Jehovah appeared to all the people.

Lev 9:24  And there came a fire out from before Jehovah, and burned up the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. And all the people saw and shouted and fell on their faces.

The fire is never to go out on the Altar. Why?

We are told that Yehovah is a consuming fire as well as a Jealous God.

Exo 24:17  And the sight of the glory of Jehovah was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the sons of Israel.

Deu 4:23  Take heed to yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of Jehovah your God, which He made with you, and make you a graven image, a likeness of anything which Jehovah your God has forbidden you.

Deu 4:24  For Jehovah your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Now, read and understand what Isaiah is telling us when He encountered Yehovah.

Isa 6:1  In the year that King Uzziah died I then saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple.

Isa 6:2  Above it stood the seraphs; each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.

Isa 6:3  And one cried to another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is Jehovah of Hosts; the whole earth full of His glory.

Isa 6:4  And the doorposts moved at the voice of the one who cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

Isa 6:5  Then I said, Woe is me! For I am undone; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, Jehovah of Hosts.

Isa 6:6  Then one of the seraphs flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, snatched with tongs from the altar.

Isa 6:7  And he laid it on my mouth and said, Lo, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.

He was cleansed with a burning coal from the Altar.

You have already read about Ezekiel and the Shekinah in the article before this one, now let’s read some more for a better understanding.

Eze 1:4  And I looked, and behold, a windstorm came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire flashing itself, and a brightness to it all around, and out of its midst, like the color of polished bronze out of the middle of the fire.

Eze 1:5  Also out of its midst came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was how they looked; they had the likeness of a man.

Eze 1:6  And four faces were to each, and four wings to each.

Eze 1:7  And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf’s foot. And they sparkled like the color of burnished copper.

Eze 1:8  And the hands of a man extended from under their wings on their four sides; and the four of them had their faces and their wings,

Eze 1:9  joining each one to the other by their wings. They did not turn in their going; each one went toward the front of their face.

Eze 1:10  And the likeness of their faces: the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side to the four of them; and the face of an ox on the left side to the four of them; and the face of an eagle to the four of them.

Eze 1:11  So their faces were. And their wings werestretched upward; to each, the two wings of each one were joined; and two wings covered their bodies.

Eze 1:12  And each went toward the front of their faces. To where the spirit was to go, there they went; they did not turn in their going.

Eze 1:13  And the likeness of the living creatures: they looked like burning coals of fire; like the appearance of torches. It was continually circling among the living creatures. And the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

Eze 1:14  And the living creatures kept running and returning, like the appearance of a flash of lightning.

Eze 1:15  And as I looked at the living creatures, behold, one wheel was on the earth by the living creatures, with its four faces.

Eze 1:16  The appearance of the wheels and their workmanship was the color of beryl, and the four of them had one likeness. And their appearance and their workmanship was like a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

Eze 1:17  When they went, they went on their four sides; and they did not turn when they went.

Eze 1:18  And their rims: they were even high; they were even awesome. And their rims were full of eyes all around the four of them.

Eze 1:19  And in the going of the living creatures, the wheels went beside them; and in the lifting up of the living creatures from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

Eze 1:20  Wherever the spirit was to go, there they went; there the spirit was to go, and the wheels were lifted up along with them. For the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

Eze 1:21  In their going, these went; and in their standing still, these stood still. And in their lifting up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up along with them. For the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

Eze 1:22  And there was a likeness over the heads of the living creature; an expanse, like the color of awesome crystal stretched out over their heads from above.

Eze 1:23  And under the expanse their wings were straight, the one toward the other. Each one had two wings covering on this side, and to each two covering on that side of their bodies.

Eze 1:24  And I heard the sound of their wings, like the sound of great waters, like the voice of the Almighty, in their going was the sound of tumult, like the sound of an army. In their standing still, they let down their wings.

Eze 1:25  And there was a voice from the expanse which was over their heads, in their standing still, and they let down their wings.

Eze 1:26  And from above the expanse that was over their heads was a likeness like a sapphire stone, the likeness of a throne. And on the likeness of the throne was a likeness looking like a man on it from above.

Eze 1:27  And I saw Him looking like the color of polished bronze, looking like fire all around within it. From the likeness of His loins even upward, and from the likeness of His loins even downward, I saw Him, looking like fire, and it had brightness all around.

Eze 1:28  As the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain looks, so the brightness all around looked. This was how the likeness of the glory of Jehovah looked. And I saw. And I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.

Eze 10:1  And I looked, and behold! In the expanse over the head of the cherubs was seen the appearance of the form of a throne, like a sapphire stone, above them.

Eze 10:2  And He spoke to the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in among the wheels, under the cherub, and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubs, and scatter them on the city. And he went in before me.

Eze 10:3  And the cherubs were standing on the right side of the house when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.

Eze 10:4  And the glory of Jehovah rose from the cherub, over the threshold of the house. And the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of Jehovah’s glory.

Eze 10:5  And the sound of the cherubs’ wings was heard over the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when He speaks.

Eze 10:6  And it happened when He had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubs; he went in then and stood beside the wheels.

Eze 10:7  And a cherub stretched out his hand from between the cherubs to the fire between the cherubs, and he lifted it and put it into the hands of the one clothed with linen. And he took it and went out.

The Fire beneath the Shekinah are the coals from the Altar. The Altar was never to go out as it represented the burning fire of jealousy and Yehovah. When those coals are mixed with the incense, they are like our prayers rising before Yehovah.

Lev 16:12  And he shall take a censer full of coals of fire from off the altar before Jehovah, and his hands full of fragrant perfumes beaten small, and bring it within the veil.

Lev 16:13  And he shall put the incense on the fire before Jehovah. And the cloud of the incense shall cover the mercy-seat that is on the Testimony. And he shall not die.

Psa 141:1  A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, I cry to You; make haste to me, give ear to my voice when I cry to You.

Psa 141:2  Let my prayer be set forth before You as incense, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

Psa 141:3  Set a watch, O Jehovah, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

Golgotha is the Altar. Yehshua represented the Sin-offering described in Lev 16. The goat that was to be slain as a sin offering represented Yehovah. It was to burned on the Altar outside the camp. That, again is Golgotha. Yehshua was killed on the tree on Golgotha as our sin offering. The fire on that Altar was not to go out and it represented Yehovah as the Shekinah. Around the Altar are those four wheels carrying the throne of Yehovah whichever way He goes as Ezekiel described.

Understanding these symbols and how Yehovah uses them to teach us, shows you how Holy this Mountain of Golgotha is. And now they are setting up an abomination on it.

I know many of you are not seeing it or disagree. So let us look up the meaning of the word wheel from Ezekiel. I will let you read what it says. Remember that Golgotha means place of the skull or mound. No interpretation needed.

The four wheels described by Ezekiel when he was looking at the shekinah, are the four sides of the Altar, the four views of the Mount of Golgotha. They are describing Golgotha as being round, and in the midst of it is the ever-burning fire of Yehovah, the Shekinah which Ezekiel saw move from the Temple to the Mountain across from Jerusalem, making it the most Holy Place on Earth. The very same place they are about to set up a statue to Mary the Queen of Heaven.
