The נֹצְרִים Notzrim

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,

Sightedmoon.com has consistently sought the truth in all matters, in our desire to follow Yehovah. As we do this, false teachings have sprung up claiming to be the original or only truth and must be exposed as false. Without exception, those who object to our exposition get upset. Over the past month, we have been posting about the Festival of Lights put on by Hindus, Jews and Christians alike. Many get upset with me for showing that Chanukah is another false teaching and no different from Diwali or Christmas. Or it is those who support Christmas and Diwali that get upset.

It is an historical truism that among the descendants of the 10 Lost Tribes, who learn other religious practices, they then accept and incorporate many of these outside teachings and syncretize them with the Torah. They will study the books of Enoch, Jubilees, and other apocryphal books, neglecting the study of the Torah, but will add these and others, making them equal to or above the Torah. At the very moment in time, when the Bride must be finalizing her readiness to meet the groom and to be spotless, the Bride continues to have many blemishes, of which few are willing to confront.

This week, Sightedmoon.com will confront another subject that will no doubt upset another group of people. The question you must seek to answer is, do you want to learn the truth, or do you want to remain in the rut you are comfortable in? Are you removing the spots on the Bride, or are you the one throwing the mud? Over the next few months, we will continue to expose a number of subjects that some of the “Brethren” now accept as fact, and, like many who only do shoddy research, they will be exposed.

So, buckle up, Brethren. From here on out, the ride is going to get very tough for those not anchored (seat-belted) in the Torah. And if you’re not ready for this part of the journey, then you most certainly won’t be ready for when we begin to point out the beast that is now here.

I would also like to encourage you all to sign up for our sightedmoon.com podcasts. This week, Ryan is also discussing the same subject. Imagine that. Please share these podcasts on your social media platforms and let others know about the things you are learning here.

Finally, I want to encourage you all to give the gift that keeps on giving. Give your loved ones a copy of It Was A Riddle Not A Command and tell them this book shows them precisely what day Jesus was born on. Let this book do for them what you cannot do yourself. Let it convict them as we get closer to the Christmas season. Then you can have that conversation you have been praying Yehovah will grant you by having your family in this walk with you. Get a copy and give it them today so they have time to read before Christmas. https://sightedmoon.com/riddle-lp/. We read this book at the Shabbat Meetings a few years ago and have recently published these videos which include the readings and the midrash which followed.  Please have a look in order to whet your appetite to share this book (YouTube Link)

You Can Learn the Secret Meaning of:

No One Knows the Day of the Hour

Why does no One Know When Jesus was born?

When Does the Thief in the Night Come?

Why Are the Foolish Virgins Rejected?

No One Knows The Day or The Hour is a Hebrew idiom or parable.

Jesus spoke in parables to conceal His message which He later explained to the Apostles.

No One Knows The Day or the Hour is telling you the very day He will come back on!

The exact opposite to what you thought it said!

This is the very same day when He first came.

The Book of Revelation Tells you the very day and hour He was born.

You are given clues in Revelation about the thief that comes in the night, about being caught naked and ashamed. All of these clues tell you about the very day He is coming back.

Paul wrote to the Thessalonians telling them they had no need to write them about the Day of the Lord

FOR THEY KNEW FULL WELL THE MOEDIM!!!

Knowing the Moedim shows you the Day and Hour No Man Can Know.

We are also told about the Two Witnesses in the Book of Revelation…
What revelations do the Two Witnesses show you about the birth of Jesus?

There was a heavenly Host praising God when Jesus was born.
This, too, tells you the Day He was born.

Are you aware that the 5 Foolish Virgins did not understand what the Thief in the Night was?
Do You?

All these questions and so much more are explained in detail.
It was a Riddle for us to figure out.
It was not a command that we could not know.
We can KNOW.
YOU Can Know!

Thoroughly researched and profoundly significant!

5.0 out of 5 stars

There just isn’t a better book on Christian prophecy than this! What an eye opener!

Of the many books and articles that I have read on prophecy in my personal search for truth, this is the only one that does not rely on old ideas that were developed hundreds of years ago when knowledge was minimal. So much more has been learned through historical and archeological research. The world has changed so much that before now no one could have clearly envisioned how prophecy might play out.

I think the average Christian doesn’t realize that recent developments in technology and huge increases in knowledge offer us a unique opportunity to raise the veil so that we might see clearly what was once hidden behind a dark glass.

After learning about these things and seriously considering the Bible, with a willingness to set aside my traditional beliefs about prophecy, I have come to the conclusion that this book is inspired by God. Mr. Dumond presents compelling information that overturns long held assumptions and unverified beliefs making the entire body of prophetic knowledge fully accessible. As a matter of fact I think that just about anyone with no previous knowledge of the Bible would understand things that scholars have devoted their lives to explaining.

I would like everyone to know what is being shown in the pages of this book. No serious truth seeker should pass up the opportunity to have their eyes opened through its revelations. I believe it is the most important book ever written,- next to the Bible itself.

Thank you Joseph Dumond.

The Stones Cry Out Part 1 & Part 2

The Stones Cry Out Part 1 & Part 2

Do you want to know how to prove the Zadok Calendar, the Enoch Calendar, and the Book of Jubilee Calendar false?

Do you want to know how the calendar issue became so confusing?

I got this awesome endorsement and I want to share it here now. with you.

In The Stones Cry Out, I walk you through the history of each change and why those changes came about, starting with the Maccabean days. Yes, it all began around 164 B.C. When Yehshua was here, he was dealing with two schools of thought. The Sadducees were all but wiped out when the Temple fell in 70 C.E. This left only the Pharisees, who began to be persecuted after the failure of the Bar Kochbah Revolt in 134 C.E.

The truth began to become out of focus around 160 C.E. when Rabbi Jose wrote the Seder Olam. This work originally was written to proof Simon Bar Kochbah was the Messiah. When that did not pan out the history was later revived and then redacted as the truth into the Mishneh Torah by Rabbi Judah ha Nasi in 180 C.E. After this the Jerusalem Talmud begins to debate these issues. It was then during this time as the Jerusalem Talmudist are forced to flee and the Babylonian Talmudist continue to grow until the 6th century that Hillel came up with a solution to help them keep the Holy Days at the proper time while they were out of the land of Israel. He did this in 358 C.E. This work was then modified and adjusted over the next 800 years with additions added and other rejected. Until it was finally redacted once again in 1177 by Rambam. And with that we now have the modern Hillel calendar which includes the errors passed on during each redaction. These errors included the time of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years.

Once the Temple was destroyed in 70 C.E., the Jews recorded time by counting from the time It was destroyed. This is why the 40 tombstones of Zoar, which record this information, are crucial to understand.

When you understand why the Postponement rules were first created so that the crescent moon would not be seen in another part of the world before it was seen in Israel then you can understand how they were still trying to follow the crescent moon to begin the month. The Tombstones show us this exact thing. The tombstones also show us when the Jews changed from a crescent moon to a Conjunction moon to begin the month. They also show us when the Jews changed the year from the month of Aviv to the Tishri to begin the year.

I really want you to understand these things so you know why you do what you do as far as following a calendar to keep Yehovah’s moedim.

I would like to add this recent comment to encourage you all to get this book and learn these truths. And the Book is FREE. You have no reason not to get it.

Most people assume that Hillel created the calendar in 358 C.E. They then assume that because it was a Sanhedrin, they are not allowed to change in order to obey Yehovah. The Hillel calendar has been changed many times since 358 C.E. up until 1177 C.E. Few people talk about these changes but we do in our latest Book The Stones Cry Out Part 1 which is free on our website. The Hillel calendar was changed on many occasions and many sought to make other changes during this time. They never needed a Bet Din to approve those changes. They just did them. So this excuse that we do not have the right to obey Yehovah because the Bet Din has not approved it is a crock of crap.
You have the obligation to obey Yehovah. You have the duty to prove which calendar you are to go by. You must prove it beyond all doubt. Yehshua never followed the Hillel calendar. Nor did any of the Apostles.
The reason no man can know the day or the hour is because it refers to a crescent moon to begin the 7th month. That is the day He was born on and the day He comes to judge on. At a day and hour no one can know. Using the Hillel calendar predicts Yom Teruah years in advance so every one knows when to keep it. But even in the Hillel calendar they keep two days of Yom Teruah reckoning back to the sighted moon. Also in the postponement rules developed long after Hillel, they again state that if the conjunction is at a certain time then the day begins at such and such, in order that the moon will not be seen in another part of the world before it is seen in Israel. That was rule number 2.
Everyone has to choose. You have the right to be wrong. But if you choose to be wrong then you also must live with the consequences that come with sin. And that is the death penalty for not keeping the Holy Days, these Sabbath at the proper time. It is your choice.
Just because you write in to me to justify your position does mean it is right. It just means your sounding off.

Allow me to share this endorsement of our latest book again. If you have read our books, please share your thoughts about them with us in the comments below or email me.

And yes, many observe the Equinox.  There are many who are deceived, improperly educated.  And this is why Joe puts out a newsletter every week, why he writes books, why the SightedMoon Zoom Shabbat service started, why he travels to places like England and the Philippines to share this message and why were are going to the NRB in February.  The calendar is always a divisive issue in social circles because the details are many, that’s why there are so many books Joe has written.  I’m not looking to put Joe on a pedestal here.  This is not about Joe worship.  But Joe has tenaciously studied out the calendar from every angle, not to prove himself right, to to seek to find and share what Yehovah is telling us about His Calendar.

In The Stones Cry Out, Joe has shared the history of all the different groups within Israel, and the beliefs they had about the scriptures and the feast days and the calendar.  When you line it all up, you can see for yourself the how and why these misunderstandings and arguments about how and where and why  they came about.

This is my new favourite book and I’m only 60-70 pages in.  And I encourage you to read the footnotes in this one.  Sometimes there’s more footnote on the page than Joe’s words.

When I wrote Stones Cry Out, I wanted it to be one of our FREE books so everyone would have it. It is more of an encyclopedia than a book to read. It will be your quick resource book; you will have access to every question about any calendar, how it got started, and who started it. You will also learn the history of how the Mishnah was assembled, when it was assembled and why. Then, you will learn how that information was transferred into both the Jerusalem and the Babylonian Talmud until it reached its final stage in the Mishneh Torah. Along with this progression, the calendar also progressed and changed long after 358 C.E. when Rabbi Hillel first published it. But…what was before the Hillel calendar? What does the Mishnah record about those things?

The Stones Cry Out was originally going to be one book explaining all the various proofs we have discovered, demonstrating when the Sabbatical and Jubilee years are throughout history.

You can know; it is not a mystery.

As I began to write The Stones Cry Out, I quickly found myself going back, time and time again, to explain how the calendar is behind the confusion of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. The Rabbis, as they began to write the Mishnah, incorporated wrong understandings, and those errors were written into what became known as the Talmud and then the Mishneh Torah. The expulsion from the land and subsequent persecutions in trying to send out messengers to report the barley being found or the crescent moon being seen, proved to be more and more dangerous over time. All of these things took place over 14 centuries.

Then as I was working on The Stones Cry Out, I discovered that many people were now accepting the Zadok calendar as factual. This is when we pivoted to include all the details of the various calendars that have crept back into public knowledge today and are being used to mislead new people who are just starting to learn about the calendar. All of this was directly connected to the period starting with the Hasmonaeans, up to the destruction of the Temple. Then, with the compiling of the Mishnah, the studies that led into the writing of the Jerusalem Talmud, then the Babylonian Talmud and finally the Mishneh Torah, each error that was added is compounded over time.

The Stones Cry Out, Part 1 explains the history of how each compilation of the Oral Torah incorporated errors, leading the followers thereof away from the actual Torah. In understanding these facts, it is then possible to understand more readily how the Sabbatical and Jubilee years were then mixed and later changed. By explaining all this history, I will be able to help you the reader understand the tombstones when most authorities do not. They have assumed, to their error, the Hillel calendar to have always been in use since Mount Sinai. Not understanding the history of the calendars is why most authorities dismiss the tombstones as too confusing to use. Once you understand The Stones Cry Out Part 1, Part 2 will be very easy to grasp.

Daniel 7:25 tells us he will change the appointed seasons and commandments. Many assume Constantine did this when he made Sunday the Sabbath. Few have considered the calendar’s many changes and how they relate to us today. Hidden in this proverbial swamp of confusion is the truth about the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. The Sabbatical and Jubilee years reveal the truths about the calendar that have been hidden for almost 2000 years.

We are in the very last days and Yehshua warned us that during this time:

Mat 24:10 And then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.

Mat 24:11 And many false prophets will rise and deceive many.

Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will become cold.

Mat 24:13 But he who endures to the end, the same shall be kept safe.

Paul also warned Timothy about these last days, warning that some would leave the truth and begin to follow demonic teachers:

1Ti 4:1 But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons,

Paul again warned the Thessalonians that the Great Falling away would take place in the last days. How can you fall away if you have never come to know the truth? So who is Paul talking to? Those who are called and answer that calling begin to walk this road of restoration back to Yehovah, and then at some point along that walk, they change and leave this walk following the teachings of demons to false calendar.

2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, my brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,

2Th 2:2 that you should not be soon shaken in mind or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word or letter, as through us, as if the Day of Christ is at hand.

2Th 2:3 Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition,

2Th 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself forth, that he is God.

We must endure until the end. We must not let ourselves become offended by personalities and leave the faith once given.

Join Our Sabbath Meetings

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and you and I are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s, Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers, songs and teaching from this hour.

Shabbat midrash will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

Yahusha or Yeshua?

Yahusha or Yahushua and the Cepher

This week I tuned into David Wilber, whom I have watched or read a number of times on various subjects in the past. I tend to like what he is doing. I know some of you are using the Cepher as your go-to version of the Bible. I also know some of you are using the Cepher’s version of how to pronounce the name of Yehshua or Jesus. Yes, I know the name is spelled Yeshua. I add an extra h to stress the Yeh part of His name.

Read what David says here, then watch his video for some points on this subject.

Transcript

YahuNatan (Jon Truth): “Is the Messiah’s name Yahusha or Yahushua?”

It is neither. Both of those names were made up fairly recently by people who don’t know Hebrew. How do we know that the Messiah’s name in Hebrew is not Yahusha or some similar variant? Because the Bible says so. The Hebrew and Greek texts of the Bible explicitly tell us what his name was.

In the New Testament, the Messiah’s name is written in Greek as Ἰησοῦς. When we look at where this name appears in the Septuagint, we find that Ἰησοῦς renders the Hebrew name יְהוֹשֻׁעַ (“Yehoshua”), as well as the short form of that same name, יֵשׁוּעַ (“Yeshua”).

These are two variations of the same name, similar to “Mike” and “Michael.” Yehoshua represents an earlier form of the name, whereas the short form, Yeshua, became more common after the Babylonian exile. Once we get to the first century, we find that Yeshua is by far the most widely attested form of the name.[1] Hence, the Messiah’s contemporaries likely referred to him as Yeshua.

Now, there is some debate over the last syllable of Yeshua’s name. Some scholars think that the “ah” sound at the end was pronounced much more subtly in the first century, resulting in a name that was pronounced more like Yeshu’. However, my understanding is that this idea is speculative and is based on limited evidence that mostly comes from the medieval period.[2] In any case, according to the Masoretic text that our Bibles are translated from, the “ah” sound at the end of the name is fully pronounced.

What about modern forms of the Messiah’s name that people on the Internet claim are the original Hebrew? For example, you mentioned Yahusha. This and other forms of the name were popularized by Sacred Name teachers in the 1990’s and early 2000’s. But again, if we care about what the Bible says, these forms of the name are just demonstrably false. According the Hebrew and Greek texts of the Bible, the first part of the Messiah’s name is never pronounced as “Yah.” And this is easily proven.

Throughout the Hebrew Scriptures, the name Yeshua looks like this in Hebrew: יֵשׁוּעַ

The first letter to the farthest right is called a yod. It makes a “y” sound, as in “yellow.” Under the yod are two horizontal dots. This vowel is called tzere. This vowel makes a long “a” sound, as in “say.” The yod and tzere together make Ye-. Hence, Yeshua.

Now let’s look at the older version of the name, Yehoshua, which looks like this in Hebrew: יְהוֹשֻׁעַ

Here, the two vertical dots under the yod form a vowel called a shva. When this vowel appears at the beginning of words, it makes a short “e” sound, as in “men.” Hence, Yehoshua.

The Greek Septuagint confirms this pronunciation. Again, both יֵשׁוּעַ and יְהוֹשֻׁעַ are always rendered into Greek as Ἰησοῦς, which is the name used for the Messiah in the Greek New Testament—translated into English as Jesus. The Septuagint uses the same first vowel for the Messiah’s name as the Masoretic text does. Notice the second letter in this Greek name. This letter is a vowel known as an eta (η), and it makes the long “a” sound, which is the same sound the Hebrew vowel tzere makes. If the name were pronounced something like “Yahusha,” the Greek translators would have represented the initial sound with an alpha (α) rather than an eta (η). Their choice of η proves that the Messiah’s name does not begin with “Yah.”

The bottom line is that no ancient text says “Yahusha” or anything close to it. Those forms are modern English inventions, not authentic Hebrew pronunciations. So if you want to refer to Jesus by his Hebrew name—and do so accurately—then you should use Yeshua.

YahuNatan (Jon Truth): “The Bible that I read from that has the name of Yahuah / Yahusha is the Cepher.”

Well, that right there is your problem. The Cepher is garbage, as I explain in this video.

In any case, I know that most people think this a trivial issue, and I totally agree in one sense. Nobody is sinning by mispronouncing the Messiah’s name in Hebrew. Having said that, since we can know the truth about this issue with certainty, we should be strive to be accurate. There is no reason to continue using a name that is easily proven to be a compete fabrication. No good could come from it. Also, it is possible that some harm could come from it. If you get basic things like this wrong, people might not take seriously anything else you have to say.

Here are all the Biblical names that contain the divine name יה (Yah = short form of Yehovah) or יהו (Yahu/Yaho = longer form) either at the beginning or at the end of each name. Notice how the name of Yehovah is spelt in each case depending on whether it begins the name or ends the name.

These are the only two patterns used in Scripture.

1. Names that START with יה / יהו (Yah / Yahu / Yeho)

  • | Name (English) | Hebrew Spelling | Meaning (literal) | Where it appears |
  • | Yehochanan | יהוחנן (Yəhôḥānān) | “Yehovah has been gracious” | John the Baptist’s Hebrew name (1 Chr 3:15, etc.) |
  • | Yehoshua / Joshua| יהושע (Yəhôšuaʿ) | “Yehovah is salvation” | Joshua son of Nun (most books of Joshua) |
  • | Yehoshaphat | יהושפט (Yəhôšāp̄āṭ) | “Yehovah has judged” | King of Judah (1 Kings 22, 2 Chr 17-20) |
  • | Yehoram / Joram | יהורם (Yəhôrām) | “Yehovah is exalted” | King of Judah & Israel |
  • | Yehoiachin | יהויכין (Yəhôyākîn) | “Yehovah establishes” | King of Judah taken to Babylon |
  • | Yehoiakim | יהויקים (Yəhôyāqîm) | “Yehovah raises up” | King of Judah |
  • | Yehoyada | יהוידע (Yəhôyādāʿ) | “Yehovah knows” | High priest who crowned Joash |
  • | Yehonathan / Jonathan | יהונתן (Yəhônāṯān) | “Yehovah has given” | Saul’s son |
  • | Yehonadav / Jonadab | יהונדב / יהונדב | “Yehovah is willing/generous” | Founder of the Rechabites |

Quick Summary

Start with יה / יהו (Yehovah at the front):

Joshua, Jonathan, Jehoshaphat, Jehoiada, Jehoiachin, etc.

(about 12 major names)

End with יה / יהו (Yehovah at the back):

Isaiah, Jeremiah, Nehemiah, Zechariah, Adonijah, etc.

(about 11 major names)

Every single one of these names is a living sermon:

“Yehovah” is either the One who begins the story or the One who finishes it.

Beautiful, isn’t it?

Now, some of you may have noticed the name Yahaziel above does not begin with Yeh.

Why Yahaziel is spelled יַחֲזִיאֵל (Yaḥăzîʾēl) with Yah- and not Yeho-/Yəhô-It is not an exception or a mistake — it follows a very clear, consistent rule in Biblical Hebrew theophoric names. The Rule in a Nutshell: Hebrew names that contain the divine name יהוה (YHVH / Yehovah) use two different shortened forms depending on where the divine element appears in the name:

Position in the name
Short form used
Pronunciation
Examples
At the beginning
יהוֹ / יְהוֹ
Yəhô- / Yeho-
Yehoshua, Yehonathan, Yehoiakim, Yehoram
At the end
יָהוּ / יָהּ
-yāhu / -yāh
Yeshayahu (Isaiah), Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah), Netanyahu

Yahaziel (and a few others) are compound names where the divine element is in the middle or functions as a prefix but is grammatically treated as the end-form, so they take the -yah form even though it looks like it’s at the front.Specific Reason for Yahazielיַחֲזִיאֵל = יָהּ + חָזָה + אֵל
Literally: “Yah beholds God” or “God (El) sees Yah”

  • The first element is the contracted end-form יָהּ (Yāh)
  • It is followed by the verb חָזָה (ḥāzāh = “to see, behold”)
  • Then the divine name אֵל (El)

Because the divine name ends the first component of the compound, Hebrew grammar uses the -yāh form (the same one used at the end of names like Isaiah and Jeremiah). This is exactly the same pattern seen in these other names:

Name
Breakdown
Why “Yah-” not “Yeho-”
Yahaziel
יָהּ + חָזָה + אֵל
Divine name ends the first element
Yahweh-yireh (Gen 22:14)
יָהּ + יִרְאֶה
Same contraction
Yahweh-nissi (Ex 17:15)
יָהּ + נִסִּי
Same contraction
Hallelujah
הַלְלוּ + יָהּ
Praise Yah

So Yahaziel is spelled with “Yah-” because grammatically the divine name is in the “ending” position of the first word-unit, even though it appears at the beginning of the whole name. It is 100 % consistent — no anomaly at all.

Bonus: The Only True “Yah-” Names at the Very Beginning.

The only time you get a pure “Yah-” at the absolute beginning (not part of a compound) is in poetic or exclamatory forms:

  • Yah (יָהּ) itself – used 49 times in Psalms (e.g., Ps 68:4 “Sing unto God… extol Him… by His name YAH”)
  • Hallelujah (Praise Yah)

Every other “Yah-” name (Yahaziel, etc.) follows the compound rule above. So Yahaziel is spelled exactly the way Yehovah intended — a beautiful witness that YAH is the One who sees.

Detailed Explanation: Why Biblical Names Use יהוֹ / יְהוֹ- at the Beginning and -יה / -יהוּ at the End. In every single theophoric name (name containing God’s name) in the Tanakh, the divine name יהוה is shortened in only two ways.
The shortening is 100 % predictable and depends on one grammatical rule:
Where the divine element stands in the word determines its form.

Position of the divine name in the name
Shortened form used
How it is pronounced
Why this form is used
At the beginning of the name (the divine name is the first part of the compound)
יהוֹ- / יְהוֹ- (Yəhô- / Yeho-)
Yeh-ho- or Ye-ho-
This is the nominative / subject form – it keeps the full “Yehov-” sound because it is acting as the subject or the starting element.
At the end of the name (the divine name is the last part of the compound)
-יהוּ / -יה (-yāhû / -yāh)
-ya-hoo / -yah
This is the construct / possessive form – the name is “owned” by or “belonging to” Yehovah, so it takes the shortened, ending form.

This is precisely the same rule Hebrew uses for any construct chain (smichut). Examples – Beginning with יהו / יהוֹ (Yeho-/Yəhô-)

Name
Hebrew
Why it uses Yah- even though it looks like it starts the name
Yahaziel
יַחֲזִיאֵל
יָהּ + חָזָה + אֵל → “Yah beholds God” – the divine name ends the first component of the compound, so it takes the ending form Yāh.
Hallelujah
הַלְלוּ יָהּ
“Praise Yah” – again, Yāh is the object of praise, so ending form.
Yahweh-yireh
יְהוָה יִרְאֶה
“Yehovah will see/provide” – but when shortened in poetry: Yah-yireh (Gen 22:14).

This is why you will never find a name like Yahoshua or Yahonathan in the Bible — it would be grammatically wrong. Summary Table of the Rule

Last part of the name

That’s the entire rule — no exceptions in the Tanakh.
Every single name containing God’s name follows this pattern perfectly.

The Sacred Name יהוה Explained from Its Three Verbal Forms

(How Yehovah = “He Who Was · Is · Will Be”)The four letters of the Name — י ה ו ה (read right-to-left) — are built directly from the three tenses of the Hebrew verb היה (h-y-h = “to be”).

Tense
Hebrew Verb Form
How It Appears in the Name יהוה
Meaning in the Name
Future / Imperfect
יִהְיֶה (yihyeh)
י (the prefix of the future tense)
He will be
Present / Participle
הוֹוֶה (hoveh)
ה ו (the middle letters)
He who is (being)
Past / Perfect (causative)
הָיָה (hayah) → causes to be
ה (final letter, from the root that causes existence)
He who was / He causes to be

When you combine them, the Name literally reads:י (He will be) + הוה (He who is / is being) = יהוה
“He who causes to exist”
“The One who was, who is, and who will be”
“The Eternal Self-Existent One”
How the Three Forms Became the Pronunciation Ye-ho-vah. Ancient Hebrew had no written vowels — only consonants.
The Name was written יהוה and pronounced exactly as the verb forms above, but because it was too holy to speak, Jews began saying אֲדֹנָי (Adonai = “my Lord”) instead.
When the Masoretes (6th–10th century CE) added vowel points:

  • They took the vowels from אֲדֹנָי (a-o-a)
  • And placed them under the letters of יהוה
  • Result: יְהֹוָה → Yə-ho-vah (the “v” sound is the ancient pronunciation of the letter ו).

So the pronunciation Ye‑ho‑vah is not a mistake or a “Jehovah’s Witnesses invention” — it is the actual vowels of Adonai applied to the sacred four letters, exactly as the Masoretes wrote it in every Hebrew Bible for the last 1,000 years. The Three Tenses Together – The Full Meaning

Final ה (root letter)
Present

Middle ה ו
Future
יִהְיֶה

Put together:
יהוה = He was · He is · He will be
= The One who exists by His own power, eternally.
This is why Revelation 1:8 and 4:8 quote the divine name as:
“Who was and who is and who is to come” — a direct translation of the three forms inside יהוה.
One Final Proof from Exodus 3:14-15: Exodus 3:14 – God said to Moses:
אֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה
I will be who I will be” (future tense).
Exodus 3:15 – Then God said:
יהוה … this is My Name forever.
So the future tense (אֶהְיֶה / yihyeh) is expanded into the full eternal Name יהוה — containing past, present, and future all at once. That is why the correct pronunciation and meaning is: Ye‑ho‑vah = The Eternal One who was, who is, and who will be forever.
Beautiful, consistent, and straight from the letters and the grammar of the verb “to be.”

Addressing the “Discrepancy” Claim: Why Some Theophoric Names Use “Yah-” (Not an Exception)

Sacred Name proponents (those emphasizing the precise pronunciation and form of the divine name יהוה as Yehovah) sometimes point to names like Yahaziel, Hallelujah, or the shortened forms in Genesis 22:14 and Exodus 17:15 as “discrepancies” or “proof” that the divine name must be “Yahweh” (with a strong “Yah” element). They argue: “If the name is Yehovah, why do these start with ‘Yah-‘ instead of ‘Yeho-‘?”This is not a discrepancy, contradiction, or evidence against Yehovah. It’s a perfectly consistent grammatical rule in Biblical Hebrew for how the divine name יהוה (Yehovah) is abbreviated in compound names and phrases. Hebrew treats the divine name as a flexible element that shortens differently based on its grammatical position within the compound—not just where it visually appears. The Universal Rule for Abbreviating Yehovah in Theophoric NamesWhen incorporating יהוה (Yehovah) into names:

  1. Prefix Position (divine name starts the compound, like a subject or active agent):
    Shortens to יהוֹ / יְהוֹ (Yeho- / Yəhô-).
This matches the opening syllables of the full name Yehovah.
  2. Suffix / Construct / Possessive Position (divine name ends the compound or a subunit, like an object, possessor, or in genitive case):
    Shortens to יָהוּ / יָהּ (-yāhu / -yāh).
This is the “ending” form, used when Yehovah is the recipient, object, or owner in the grammatical structure.

The key: It’s about grammar, not appearance. If Yehovah grammatically closes a word-unit (even if more follows), it takes the -yāh form for brevity and reverence. Why the “Tricky” Ones Use “Yah-” (Detailed Breakdown)These aren’t exceptions—they follow the suffix/construct rule precisely because the divine name is in a possessive or object-like position within the first part of the compound.

Natural Meaning
Scripture / Notes
Yahaziel
יַחֲזִיאֵל
יָהּ (Yāh) + חָזָה (ḥāzāh = “behold/see”) + אֵל (ʾĒl = “God”)
The divine name (Yehovah → Yāh) ends the first subunit. It’s like “Yāh [who] beholds God”—Yehovah is the subject closing its own clause before the verb and second divine title. Construct position triggers the ending form.
“Yehovah beholds (as God)” or “God sees Yehovah”
2 Chronicles 20:14; 1 Chronicles 12:4 – A Levite prophet.
Hallelujah
הַלְלוּ יָהּ
הַלְלוּ (hallû = imperative “praise ye”) + יָהּ (Yāh)
Yāh is the direct object of praise (“Praise ye Yāh”). It’s possessive/construct: the praise belongs to Yehovah. Ending form because it’s the recipient.
“Praise Yehovah” (shortened reverently)
Psalms (e.g., 113:1); Revelation 19. Common in liturgy.
Yehovah-Yireh (place name)
יְהוָה יִרְאֶה → contracted יָהּ יִרְאֶה
יָהּ (Yāh) + יִרְאֶה (yirʾeh = “will see/provide”)
In the full phrase “Yehovah will provide,” but as a memorial name for the location, it shortens. Yehovah is the implied provider (construct: “the provision of Yehovah”). Poetry and altar names favor the concise Yāh.
“Yehovah will provide”
Genesis 22:14 – Abraham names the mount after God’s provision.
Yehovah-Nissi (altar name)
יְהוָה נִסִּי → contracted יָהּ נִסִּי
יָהּ (Yāh) + נִסִּי (nissî = “my banner/standard”)
Yehovah is the possessor (“my banner is Yehovah”). Construct state: the banner belongs to Yehovah. Ending form for the owned element.
“Yehovah is my banner”
Exodus 17:15 – Moses’ altar after victory over Amalek.

Why This Proves Consistency (Not Contradiction)

  • Reverence and Brevity: Hebrew often shortens the sacred name in compounds to avoid overuse while invoking it powerfully. The Yāh form is poetic and emphatic—used in exclamations (Hallelujah!) and memorials (altar names).
  • No Support for “Yahweh”: The “Yah-” forms don’t require a base name like “Yahweh.” They fit perfectly with Yehovah: The suffix -yāh is a natural contraction of the full name’s latter part (ho-vah → ah in poetic reduction). Ancient inscriptions (e.g., Moabite Stone, Lachish Letters) confirm both Yeho- and -yahu forms alongside full spellings pointing to Yehovah.
  • Countering the Claim: If someone says “See, it starts with Yah-, so the name must be Yahweh,” point out:
    1. Most names starting the compound use Yeho- (hundreds of examples: Yehoshua, Yehonathan).
    2. The “Yah-” cases are rare and only when grammar puts Yehovah in construct/possessive (ending-like) position.
    3. This is standard Semitic grammar—seen in other divine names (e.g., El in compounds).

This rule appears hundreds of times without deviation in the Tanakh. It’s evidence of the text’s precision and the name Yehovah’s integrity—not a flaw. Sacred Namers can embrace these as beautiful affirmations of Yehovah’s attributes: He is the One we praise (Hallelujah), provide from (Yireh), fight under (Nissi), and behold (Yahaziel). If critics persist, ask for a single true exception—they won’t find one. The Hebrew Bible is consistent from Genesis to Malachi.

The נֹצְרִים

The נֹצְרִים

The Watchmen on the Mountains, the Philadelphia Assembly, the Two Witnesses, the Branch, Virgo, and the Final Restoration of All Things

There is a single Hebrew root that quietly links Jeremiah, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Zechariah, the book of Revelation, and even the constellation Virgo. Once you see it, the entire end-time picture snaps into focus and a pattern of restoration becomes undeniable.

That root is נָצַר, nātsar.

From this one root, we get the word נֹצְרִים, nōtsərîm, the “watchmen” or guardians on the mountains of Ephraim in Jeremiah 31:6. We get נֵצֶר, nētsar, the “Branch,” the preserved shoot out of the stump of Jesse in Isaiah 11:1. We get the name נָצְרַת, Natsrat, Nazareth, the “town of the Branch.” And from the same root comes the term נֹצְרִים, Notzrim, Nazarenes, used in Jewish tradition for the early followers of Yehshua.

When we add to this the Greek verb τηρέω, tēreō, in Revelation—“to keep, guard, watch over, preserve”—used of the Philadelphia assembly, and set it alongside the work of the Two Witnesses and the sign of Virgo holding the wheat sheaf and the Branch, a single story emerges. Yehovah has always intended to raise up guardians of the Branch in the last days, נֹצְרִים, Notzrim, who would restore His name, His Torah, His Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles, and call the scattered house of Israel to return. These נֹצְרִים are the same people described as the Philadelphia assembly; they are connected to the work of the Two Witnesses; and they stand at the moment when the two sticks of Judah and Ephraim are about to become one in the hand of the Messiah.

This article will walk step by step through that picture so that even someone new to these things can follow it and prove all things.

1. Jeremiah 31 – The Cry of the נֹצְרִים on Mount Ephraim and the Coastlands Afar Off

Jeremiah 31:6 in Hebrew reads:

כִּי יֵשׁ יוֹם קָרְאוּ נֹצְרִים בְּהַר אֶפְרַיִם קוּמוּ וְנַעֲלֶה צִיּוֹן אֶל־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ׃

“For there shall be a day that the נֹצְרִים upon Mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise and let us go up to Zion to Jehovah our God!” (Jeremiah 31:6, MKJV).

Most English translations say “watchmen.” That is not incorrect, but it hides a deeper layer. The normal Hebrew word for “keep” or “guard” in Torah is שָׁמַר, shāmar. Jeremiah does not use that word here. He uses נֹצְרִים, from נָצַר, nātsar.

The verb shāmar is used for general obedience and observation: to keep the Sabbath, to keep the commandments. The verb nātsar is used when something precious is being guarded, preserved, or watched over so that it is not lost. Yehovah “keeps” mercy for thousands; we are told to “keep” our hearts; a garden or a vineyard is “kept” so its fruit survives.

From this root nātsar comes the noun נֵצֶר, netzer, a preserved shoot that lives on after the tree has been cut down. Isaiah 11:1 says, “And a Rod shall come forth out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch, נֵצֶר, shall grow out of his roots.” The royal house of David is cut down in the exile, but a preserved shoot—Netzer—springs out of the dead stump. That Netzer is the Messiah.

When Jeremiah uses נֹצְרִים on Mount Ephraim, he is not merely describing guys on a wall. He is describing guardians of the Netzer, preservers of the Messianic promise, men and women tasked with restoring what has been lost. They stand on the hills of the northern kingdom’s territory, Ephraim, the heartland of the ten tribes who were scattered, and they cry, “Arise, let us go up to Zion, to Yehovah our God!” This is the Second Exodus call.

Jeremiah 31 is a whole chapter of restoration. It speaks of the rebuilding of Israel and Judah, of vineyards being planted again in Samaria, of the gathering from the corners of the earth, and of a new covenant with the Torah written on the heart. Verses 7 to 10 are crucial, and they must not be ignored.

“For so says Jehovah, Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations. Cry out, give praise and say, O Jehovah, save Your people, the remnant of Israel. Behold, I will bring them from the north country and gather them from the corners of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and she who is in labor with child, together; a great company shall return there. They shall come with weeping, and with prayers I will lead them. I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way; they shall not stumble in it, for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is My firstborn. Hear the Word of Jehovah, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands afar off. And say, He who scattered Israel will gather him and keep him, as a shepherd keeps his flock.” (Jeremiah 31:7–10, MKJV).

Here, the picture widens. The message of the נֹצְרִים is not only for the hills of Ephraim. It is to be proclaimed “in the coastlands afar off”—to the islands and maritime regions far from the land of Israel. In our teachings at Sightedmoon.com I have connected these “coastlands” and “islands” passages with places like the Philippines, Japan and other island regions around the world, where descendants of the northern tribes may be found in large numbers. The prophecy says that the One who scattered Israel will gather him, and will keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock.

Isaiah 11:11–12 uses the same language of a second regathering “from the islands of the sea.” These two passages, Jeremiah 31 and Isaiah 11, taken together, show that the coastlands are not a poetic flourish. They are part of the physical geography of the Second Exodus.

In our understanding, the regathered remnant from these coastlands and nations are to be brought back to the land as a wave offering before Yehovah, a living offering of people from every tribe and tongue who come up to the land before the final flight into the wilderness. They are brought back as a great company, with tears and supplications, led by rivers of waters in a straight way, because Yehovah is a father to Israel and Ephraim is His firstborn.

The נֹצְרִים on Mount Ephraim, the proclamation to the coastlands, and the regathering of the remnant from those distant islands are all one connected process. This is not merely spiritual. There is a physical movement of people, in a specific time frame, back to the land of Israel before the last 3½ years begin.

2. Isaiah 11 – The Netzer and the Second Exodus from the Islands

Isaiah 11 begins with the Netzer and ends with the Second Exodus.

“And a Rod shall come forth out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch, נֵצֶר, shall grow out of his roots. And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest on Him…” (Isaiah 11:1–2, MKJV, excerpt).

Isaiah then describes the Messianic rule, when He judges in righteousness, when the wolf dwells with the lamb, when the earth is full of the knowledge of Yehovah as the waters cover the sea. Then the focus shifts to the regathering.

“And it shall come to pass in that day that Jehovah shall set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people, who shall be left, from Assyria and from Egypt, from Pathros and from Cush, from Elam and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And He shall lift up a banner for the nations, and shall gather the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth.” (Isaiah 11:11–12, MKJV).

This is called “the second time.” The first time was the Exodus from Egypt. This second time includes not only the surrounding nations but also the islands of the sea. The Netzer, the Branch, is the One in whose hand this banner is raised. He is the One under whom Judah and Ephraim will be united. The proclamation in Jeremiah to the coastlands afar off, telling them that He who scattered Israel will gather him, is part of this same Second Exodus.

When Jeremiah speaks of singing for Jacob, shouting among the chief of the nations, and calling the remnant of Israel home; when he speaks of a great company returning from the corners of the earth, including the blind, the lame, and women with child; when he commands that this be declared in the coastlands afar off, he is describing the very same event Isaiah 11 pictures. It is the Branch-led Second Exodus, where the remnant is brought back as a wave offering to the land before the final refinement in the wilderness.

3. Ezekiel 37 – The Two Sticks and the Netzer King

Ezekiel 37, after the vision of the dry bones, commands the prophet to take two sticks. On one, he is to write, “For Judah, and for the sons of Israel his companions.” On the other, he is to write, “For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions.” He is then told to join them together so that they become one stick in his hand.

Yehovah explains that He will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land. He will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; they will no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again. One King will be King to them all. He calls this King “My servant David” and says that David will be their prince forever and will shepherd them. The covenant of peace will be everlasting, and His sanctuary will be in their midst forevermore.

The union of the two sticks, Judah and Ephraim, under one King, the Son of David, is the outcome of the Second Exodus. It is the goal toward which the proclamation of the נֹצְרִים in Jeremiah 31 and the banner of Isaiah 11 are moving. The Branch, Netzer, is the King in whose hand the two sticks become one. But the process begins before He is visibly revealed in glory. It begins when the guardians of the Netzer awaken Ephraim, call him home, and prepare him to pass under the rod.

4. Shamar and Natsar, τηρέω and Philadelphia

There is another layer in the language of Scripture that ties Jeremiah 31 to the churches in Revelation.

In Hebrew, שָׁמַר, shāmar, is to keep or guard in the ordinary sense of observance. נָצַר, nātsar, is to guard and preserve something especially precious. In Greek, the verb τηρέω, tēreō, carries the sense of keeping, guarding, preserving, watching over. This is the verb used when Revelation speaks of the Philadelphia assembly.

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write… I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it… Because you have kept My Word, and have not denied My name, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation which shall come on all the world, to try those who dwell upon the earth.” (Revelation 3:7–8, 10, MKJV, condensed).

The phrase “you have kept My Word” is ἐτήρησας τὸν λόγον μου, from τηρέω transliterated as etērēsas ton logon mou. The promise “I will keep you” is τηρήσω σε, tērēsō se, from the same verb. In Hebrew categories, we could say that Philadelphia has been natsar with His Word, and He will be natsar with them.

Philadelphia is therefore the New Covenant expression of the נֹצְרִים. They guard His Word, they do not deny His name, they are given an open door, and they are themselves preserved in a special way through the coming trial. They are the ones in Revelation 12:17 who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Yehshua. They are closely connected to the two olive trees of Zechariah 4 and Revelation 11, who pour out oil to keep the menorah burning.

The same family of ideas is at work: guardianship, preservation, restoration.

5. The Two Witnesses and the 1,260-Day Restoration

Revelation 11 speaks of two witnesses who prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth. They have power to shut heaven so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy, to turn waters to blood, and to smite the earth with plagues as often as they will.

This is the combined ministry of Moses and Elijah. Yeshua said, “Elijah truly shall come first and restore all things.” Acts 3 speaks of the times of restitution of all things, which must occur before Yehshua is sent back from heaven. The Two Witnesses are not just miracle-workers; they are restorers. They finish a restoration process that has been underway for many years through the work of the נֹצְרִים.

From the restored Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles, the present year, 5861 (Aviv 2025 to Aviv 2026), is the second year of the current Sabbatical cycle, not a Sabbatical year itself. The next Sabbatical year is 2030–2031. The next full Jubilee year is 2045–2046. The seven-year period from the fall of 2026 to the fall of 2033 is the final heptad leading into the last stages of this coming tribulation, before the Jubilee and the beginning of the seventh millennium in 2045–2046.

According to this understanding, the Two Witnesses begin their ministry at Trumpets in the fall of 2026. For the next 1,260 days they prophesy, shut heaven, and proclaim the restored Torah, the name of Yehovah, the proper calendar based on Aviv barley and the sighted new moon, and the Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles. They call the scattered tribes, especially Ephraim, to repent, return, and prepare for the Second Exodus. Their 1,260 days run until Passover of 2030, when they will be martyred.

The first year of their ministry, from 2026 to 2027, is the beginning of the drought and famine. The second year, from 2027 to 2028, is the second year of famine, paralleling Joseph’s words to his brothers in Genesis 45:6. It is in that second year that recognition begins. Ephraim starts to awaken. The message of the Witnesses and of the Philadelphia נֹצְרִים is recognized in many places. The coastlands, including the Philippines and other island regions, begin to respond. The cry of Jeremiah 31:6 and 31:7–10 goes out with urgency: “Arise, let us go up to Zion. O Jehovah, save Your people, the remnant of Israel.”

From 2028 to the spring of 2030, there is a growing movement of people leaving the systems of Babylon and preparing to go up to the land. The remnant from the coastlands afar off, from the north country and the corners of the earth, are being gathered and brought back as a wave offering to the land of Israel. This gathering must take place before the final 3½ years, because the wilderness flight cannot happen from Canada or the Philippines. It happens from the land of Israel.

6. Passover 2030 – The Death of the Witnesses, the Splitting of the Mount of Olives, and the First Flight

At the end of the 1,260 days, at Passover 2030, the Witnesses finish their testimony. The beast that ascends out of the abyss makes war on them and kills them in Jerusalem. Their bodies lie in the street for three and a half days, while the inhabitants of the earth rejoice and send gifts one to another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwelt on the earth.

After those three and a half days, the Spirit of life from God enters them, they stand on their feet, great fear falls upon those who see them, and they hear a loud voice from heaven saying, “Come up here.” They ascend in a cloud, and their enemies behold them. This shocking event marks a turning point. Satan is cast down in greater rage. The dragon of Revelation 12 goes after the woman.

At this same Passover season, Zechariah 14 comes into play. Zechariah says that the day of Yehovah comes, that all nations gather against Jerusalem to battle, that the city is taken and the houses rifled, and that half of the city goes into captivity. Then Yehovah goes forth and fights against those nations. Zechariah 14:4 says that His feet shall stand in that day on the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley. Half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half toward the south.

The people are told, “You shall flee through the valley of My mountain; for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. Yea, you shall flee, like as you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah” (Zechariah 14:5, MKJV).

In our understanding, this splitting of the Mount of Olives and the flight through the valley happens at Passover 2030. The gathered remnant, who have come up to keep the Passover on the Aviv barley and sighted-moon calendar, are now in the land. As in the first Exodus, the enemy’s army pursues. The mount splits, creating a path toward the region of the Dead Sea where the Gihon stream historically met the Jordan system. The people flee through the split, and the earth swallows up the pursuing army, just as the Red Sea swallowed Pharaoh’s chariots. It was the sea that first swallowed Pharaoh’s army; it will be the earth that swallows Satan’s army at this time.

This is the first great flight into the wilderness, the beginning of the time, times, and half a time in which the woman is nourished away from the face of the serpent. It is not a flight from North America or the Philippines. It is a flight from Jerusalem and Judah, by people who have already responded to the call of Jeremiah 31 and Isaiah 11 and come home.

7. The Calendar Controversy and the Remnant the Dragon Pursues

Revelation 12 makes a distinction. The woman flees into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, to be nourished there for 1,260 days. She is given two wings of a great eagle so she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, times, and half a time from the face of the serpent. The serpent spews water out of his mouth like a flood to carry her away, but the earth helps the woman and swallows the flood. Then the dragon is enraged with the woman and goes off to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Yeshua.

If these remnant ones keep the commandments and have the testimony of Yeshua, why did they not flee with the woman? Why were they not in the land to flee through the split of the Mount of Olives at Passover 2030?

In our teaching, the answer lies in the calendar. Those who heed the restored Aviv barley and sighted-moon calendar will be in the land keeping Passover at the correct time. Those who cling to the Hillel II postponement calendar, which is typically one month later in those crucial years, will not be in the land when the flight happens. They will be coming a month later, on the Hillel date, and will miss the flight through the valley.

The dragon, thwarted in his attempt to destroy the woman in the wilderness, then goes to make war specifically with those who keep the commandments but were out of sync with the appointed times—those on the wrong calendar. They are still faithful in intention, but they did not listen to the restoration of the moedim. They did not respond when the נֹצְרִים restored and proclaimed the proper timing. They become the particular target of the beast’s war in the last 3½ years.

This gives deep practical weight to what might otherwise seem like a technical argument about calendars. It is not a hobby. It is life and death. It decides whether you flee with the woman at Passover 2030 or whether you are left for the dragon to wage war against.

8. The Wilderness Protection from 2030 to 2033

From Passover 2030 onward, the woman is in the wilderness. She has a place prepared by God. She is nourished there for a time, times, and half a time. This 3½-year period runs from Passover 2030 until the fall of 2033. During this time the beast system is in full operation. The mark is enforced. The bowls of wrath are poured out. The economies and structures of the world are collapsing.

Some of those sheltered will be in the traditional wilderness regions of Edom, Moab, and Ammon. Isaiah 16:3–4 calls on Moab to take counsel, execute judgment, make its shadow like the night in the midst of the noonday, hide the outcasts, and not betray him who wanders, and then says, “Let My outcasts dwell with you, Moab; be a shelter to them from the face of the destroyer, for the extortioner is at an end.” Daniel 11:41 says that Edom, Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon will escape from the hand of the final northern king.

Other parts of the remnant will be sheltered in ways we do not fully understand in other prepared places. They will come out of the Great Tribulation as an innumerable multitude. But the key is that this protection is for those who have already come home and fled at the right time. It is a protection inside the land’s vicinity and its prophetic wilderness regions, not in permanent exile.

The remnant who are caught on the wrong calendar and miss the flight will be scattered in various nations and will face intense persecution. Some may still be kept alive by Yehovah’s mercy. Others will pay with their lives. Zechariah’s prophecy that two-thirds will be cut off and die, and the remaining third will be brought through the fire, takes shape in these years. The holy tithe, the tenth that remains after the fire, will pass under the shepherd’s rod and be counted as holy.

9. 2033, the First Resurrection, and the Coming Jubilee

In our model, the ten years from 2024 to 2033 are the Ten Years of Awe. By 2033, the final 3½ years of refining and wrath are drawing to a close. At Shavuot 2033, the wheat harvest of the righteous takes place. Revelation 14 shows the Son of Man with a sharp sickle reaping the harvest of the earth when it is ripe. This corresponds to the wheat harvest at Shavuot. The barley firstfruits have already been presented. Now the main harvest comes in.

At this Shavuot, the first resurrection takes place. The dead in Messiah rise. Those who are alive and remain are changed. The holy tenth that has passed under the rod is gathered into one body, the Bride. At Atonement 2033, Satan is bound and cast into the abyss, no longer able to deceive the nations. The beast system collapses completely.

However, 2033 is not the beginning of the seventh millennium as counted by the Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles. The seventh millennium, according to the chronology we have worked out from creation using those cycles and anchored by historical evidence, begins with the Jubilee year of 2045–2046. That Jubilee will be the first full Jubilee under Messiah’s rule, when the land can rest in full obedience, and inheritances can be restored in the way Leviticus 25 describes.

So 2033 is the climax of the Ten Years of Awe, the year of the first resurrection and the binding of Satan. The actual seventh millennium of rest, in the precise mathematical sense of the Sabbatical and Jubilee pattern. This begins in 2045–2046 with that Jubilee. The saints will already have been resurrected and reigning with Messiah in the heavenly and earthly realms, but the public, fully manifest Jubilee of the land will be 2045–2046. The net effect is that the work of the נֹצְרִים now, and the intense ministry from 2026 to 2033, is leading into a longer transition toward that Jubilee.

10. Who Has Been Restoring These Things?

Over the last several decades, different people have worked on different parts of the restoration. Scholars like Nehemia Gordon have recovered and defended the pronunciation “Yehovah” from Masoretic manuscripts. Other teachers have picked this up and begun to use Yehovah instead of generic titles. Various believers and ministries have returned to the Aviv barley and sighted new moon through practical reports and on-the-ground investigations, including groups in Israel who regularly inspect the barley and report on the new moon sightings, and many international fellowships that have adopted this method. Others have written about Sabbatical years and Jubilees in a general way, speculating about Shmita patterns and prophetic fulfillment.

But only a very small number have tried to put all of this together: the name, the calendar, the Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles, the identity of the house of Israel, the role of Ephraim and Judah, the timing of the Two Witnesses, the Ten Years of Awe, and the final seven years. Of those, only one public ministry has consistently:

Used and defended Yehovah as the divine name in every teaching and publication. Practiced and taught the calendar based on Aviv barley and the sighted crescent, while engaging with actual reports from the land. Worked out a continuous Sabbatical and Jubilee chronology from creation to the present, anchored in the Bible, history, and inscriptions such as the Zoar tombstones, and identified the current year as 5861, the next Sabbatical year as 2030–2031, and the Jubilee as 2045–2046. Connected that chronology to a concrete end-time sequence from 2026 to 2033, with the Two Witnesses beginning in the fall of 2026, being killed at Passover 2030, the flight through the split Mount of Olives at that same Passover, the wilderness protection to 2033, Shavuot 2033 as the first resurrection, and Atonement 2033 as the binding of Satan. Called not only individuals but the scattered house of Israel, especially Ephraim in the coastlands and islands afar off, to come back to Torah, to the land, and to prepare for the Second Exodus. Been opposed, dismissed, or ignored precisely because of these restorations, which cut across both Christian and Jewish traditions.

This ministry is Sightedmoon.com, with the teachings and books I have laboured over since early 2005. Others have restored pieces of the puzzle. Yehovah has used many hands to uncover different stones. But the task of the נֹצְרִים in this generation is to assemble those stones into a picture, to stand on the hills of Ephraim, and to cry, “Arise, let us go up to Zion to Yehovah our God,” before the famine and the sword finish their work.

11. The Netzer, the Guardians, and Your Choice

The Hebrew root נָצַר gave us the Netzer, the Branch from Jesse who will rule in righteousness. It gave us the Notzrim, the guardians of that Branch, the watchmen on Mount Ephraim who call the remnant home. The Greek τηρέω, tēreō, showed us Philadelphia, the assembly that guards Messiah’s word and is guarded by Him in return. The Two Witnesses and the two olive trees showed us that the final act of restoration will happen in a 1,260-day blaze of prophetic fire, after decades of quieter work by the נֹצְרִים, notzrim. Virgo showed us a virgin holding a sheaf of wheat and a Branch, pointing to a final Shavuot harvest. Ezekiel’s two sticks showed us Judah and Ephraim becoming one in the hand of the Son of David. Jeremiah and Isaiah showed us coastlands afar off, including island nations like the Philippines and Japan, from which the remnant must return. Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Zechariah showed us that this comes through catastrophe, that only a remnant will survive, that they will pass under the rod and be counted as a holy tithe.

The restored Sabbatical and Jubilee chronology placed us in 5861, the second year of a Sabbatical cycle, a few short months before the Witnesses begin, before the famine starts, before the call becomes a roar. The next Sabbatical year, 2030–2031, will fall in the middle of the final seven-year period. The Jubilee of 2045–2046 will open the seventh millennium as a formal, legal period of rest and restoration for the land and the people.

Between now and then stands a narrow path.

The question is not merely where the נֹצְרִים notzrim are. The question is whether you will listen to what they are saying. Will you take the restored name of Yehovah seriously? Will you honour the moedim by His clock instead of man’s? Will you let the Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles teach you to number your days? Will you accept that the remnant must pass through fire? Will you prepare to go up to the land, so that when the Mount of Olives splits, and the valley opens, you are there to flee through it rather than watching from a month behind on the wrong calendar?

The Netzer has been revealed. The guardians are already crying out from the hills of the nations. The coastlands have been warned. The wave offering of returning exiles is already forming. The wheat is approaching ripeness.

“Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations. Cry out, give praise and say, O Jehovah, save Your people, the remnant of Israel… Hear the Word of Jehovah, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands afar off. And say, He who scattered Israel will gather him and keep him, as a shepherd keeps his flock.”

The נֹצְרִים, notzrim, are on the mountains. The Branch is at the door.
What you do with this knowledge now will decide where you stand when the valley opens and when the harvest is reaped.

The Servant of the Lord

Isa 49:1  Listen, O coastlands, to Me; and listen, lend your ear, peoples from afar; Jehovah has called Me from the womb; He has made mention of My name from My mother’s bowels.

Isa 49:2  And He has made My mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me, and made Me a polished shaft. He has hidden Me in His quiver,

Isa 49:3  and said to Me, You are My servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Isa 49:4  Then I said, I have labored in vain; I have spent My strength for nothing, and in vain; yet surely My judgment is with Jehovah, and My work with My God.

Isa 49:5  And now, says Jehovah who formed Me from the womb to be His servant, to bring Jacob again to Him, Though Israel is not gathered, yet I shall be glorious in the eyes of Jehovah, and My God shall be My strength.

Isa 49:6  And He said, It is but a little thing that You should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to bring back the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You for a light to the nations, to be My salvation to the end of the earth.

Isa 49:7  So says Jehovah, the Redeemer of Israel, His Holy One, to Him whom man despises, to Him whom the nation hates, the servant of rulers: Kings shall see and arise, rulers also shall worship, because of Jehovah who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, and He shall choose You.

The Restoration of Israel

Isa 49:8  So says Jehovah, in a favorable time I replied to You, and in a day of salvation I have helped You; and I will preserve You, and give You for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause them to inherit the wasted inheritances;

Isa 49:9  that You may say to the prisoners, Go out! To those who are in darkness, Show yourselves! They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

Isa 49:10  They shall not hunger nor thirst; nor shall the heat nor sun strike them; for He who has mercy on them shall lead them; even by the springs of water He shall guide them.

Isa 49:11  And I will make all My mountains a way, and My highways shall be set on high.

Isa 49:12  Behold, these shall come from far; and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.

Isa 49:13  Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break out into singing, O mountains; for the Lord has comforted His people, and will have mercy on His afflicted.

Isa 49:14  But Zion said, Jehovah has forsaken me, and my LORD has forgotten me.

Isa 49:15  Can a woman forget her suckling child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you.

Isa 49:16  Behold, I have carved you on the palms of Myhands; your walls are forever before Me.

Isa 49:17  Your sons shall make haste; those destroying you and ruining you shall go out from you.

Isa 49:18  Lift up your eyes all around and see; they all gather and come to you. As I live, says Jehovah, you shall surely wear them as an ornament, and bind them on as a bride.

Isa 49:19  For your wastes and your deserted places, and your land of ruins, shall even now be too narrow to dwell there, and they who swallowed you up shall be far away.

Isa 49:20  The sons of your bereavement shall yet say in your ears, The place is too narrow for me; come near to me so that I may dwell.

Isa 49:21  Then you shall say in your heart, Who has borne me these, since I am bereaved, and desolate, turned aside and an exile, and who has brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where werethey?

Isa 49:22  So says the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations, and have set up My banner to the people; and they shall bring your sons in theirbosom, and your daughters shall be carried on theirshoulders.

Isa 49:23  And kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nurses. They shall bow to you, faces to the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am Jehovah; by whom they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.

Isa 49:24  Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?

Isa 49:25  But so says Jehovah, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the fearful ones shall escape. For I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your sons.

Isa 49:26  And I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh; and they shall be drunk with their own blood, as with sweet wine; and all flesh shall know that I Jehovah am your Savior and your Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Shalom,

  2. Hi Joseph

Thanks a lot for sharing with us your detailed understanding of the Scriptures about what is coming during these last days and how the pieces of our next 8 year puzzle might fit together; and this highlights for me that the remaining time is so very short.

With reference to paragraphs 2 and 3 under point 7 of the watchmen article, mentioning the remnant being in the land. May I propose that we should consider not only being in the land, but ensuring being at the specified place in the land, which Yehovah chose – for Passover 2030.
I base this comment on my current understanding of the following 2 x Scriptures:

Deu 16:16 Three times a year all your males appear before יהוה your Elohim in the place which He chooses: at the Festival of Matzot, and at the Festival of Shaḇuʽoth, and at the Festival of Sukkot. And none should appear before יהוה empty-handed,

Luk 2:41 And His parents went to Yerushalayim every year at the Festival of the Pěsaḥ.

    Shabbat Shalom

  4. Joseph, excellent article about the netzar; gives us a reminder of what’s coming in simple terms. I’m sharing with friends who already think I crackers, but the article really brings home where and when we are headed. Thank you for your faith in continuing to help people see truth, and help the be prepared.

I pray you are continually renewed in your faith and in your strength in the work that you have been doing for our Father and creator, Yehovah. You’ve done much, yet the road isn’t at an end yet. Be encouraged anew every day. There are many people, like me, who appreciates your work.

  5. Echoing the basic sentiment of the previous four commentators, I also applaud your unique prophetic insights summarised in your 11 paragraphs.
You, Joe, may recall the founder of the nowadays defunct Worldwide Church of God, Herbert W. Armstrong [1892-1986] , who in the 1980s listed “18 Truths” freshly/uniquely revealed to him. A few of his 1970s members speculated that the ‘Two Witnesses’ of Revelation 11 would be the dogmatically-rigid Herbert and his much more charismatic and voluble son Garner Ted Armstrong [1930-2003].
My point being that only ‘time will tell’…. not some mere human pundit! Although there are some who speculate that you, Joe Dumond, who is skilled in matters calendrical and eschatological, may be one of YHVH’s anointed duo for that multi-skilled duty. Someone of Jewish lineage would be more readily accredited by the Jerusalem-based targets, however your abrasive personality lends itself to the required ‘take-no-prisoners’ mindset.
