Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

The Second Witness Speaks

We kept Passover one month earlier than most of the other groups based on the barley being Aviv. Others did not agree with us.

The Barley was our first witness as to when we must keep the Holy Days and our appointed times with Yehovah. It is important to know when we are to meet with the creator of the universe. Extremely important.

Our second witness is the wheat. Is the wheat going to be ready for Shavuot and the wave offering made on that day. Again we are commanded to offer the First Fruits. So will we have Wheat in time to make hte first fruits offering this coming Sunday?

Exo 34:22  And you shall observe the Feast of Weeks, of the first-fruits of wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the year’s end.

On Tuesday April 14, 2021, and then again on Wednesday April 14, 2021, Becca went out to check the state of the wheat. Here are her reports.

I haven’t given you a check in on the wheat in a few days. Our temperatures are forecasted to climb daily with Sunday (Shavuot) being at 100f/37.7c I believe it will be enough to bring the wheat to medium dough and/or hard dough.
Currently the wheat is soft dough. Two days ago it was still in worm. The photo represent a 24 hour change in the same plant.
I still do not know a lot about the wild wheat other than as it ripens it is more fragile than wild barley would be in the same stage of development.

Then Becca went back and posted the following either the 14th or the 15th. I am not sure which.

For those of you who just kept Passover, on March 14th or 15th, then you will be looking for wheat for your first fruits offering come May 22, 2021. And yet the first fruits of wheat are ready NOW!

For those of you who have not yet kept Passover and will be keeping it until April 27, There is no barley left to make your wave sheaf offering. And then when you go to keep Shavuot June, 19, 2021, well what can I say. There wont be any left by then either.

Both of these other groups have man made rules not found in the Torah to begin the year by. One kept moving the goal posts in order to match the year with the Hebrew or Hillel Calendar. The second was using the Equinox to begin the year and then went to look for the new moon to begin the month.

Yehovah has clearing and irrevocably shown both these groups that the First Fruits of the Barley were ready back in February, and now the Wheat is ripe and harvest ready, way before they kept their self appointed Holy Days. If you do not change and repent from this error, you will pay with it with your lives. Yes it is that serious.

Yehovah has called you to follow Him. Not some group of men making rules. You are to follow Yehovah. He determines the seasons and when they are to begin. We are at the end of this age. You have very little time left to repent and to begin to obey. Do not harden your hearts as they did in the rebellion. Start to obey now.

Shavuot is this Sunday April 18, 2021. Keep it. Then Yom Teruah will be in August the 10th. Plan on keeping it when Yehovah chose.

Chag Shavuot Sameach
20-25 % of the wild wheat field overlooking the Kinerret is past a harvestable stage. I was not prepared for that sight and did not take a sickle with me.
A longer video will go up later…for now, I need to shower off the ticks and itchies and cool my body down….it was nearly 90f/32c out on the dry slope.
The table the wheat is on is large, like 4 ft. There are about 3 double hand fulls there.

You are to Appear Before Yehovah Three Times A Year.

Exo 23:14  You shall keep a feast to Me three times in the year.

Exo 23:15  You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. You shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded you, in the time appointed of the month Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt. And no one shall appear before Me empty.

Exo 23:16  Also the Feast of Harvest, the first-fruits of your labors, which you have sown in the field. Also the Feast of Ingathering, in the end of the year, when you have gathered in your labors out of the field.

Exo 23:17  Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord God.

Exo 34:22  And you shall observe the Feast of Weeks, of the first-fruits of wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the year’s end.

Exo 34:23  Three times in the year your men shall appear before the Lord Jehovah, the God of Israel.

You have now read how your males are commanded to appear before Yehovah three times a year and you are told when they are to do this. You do this at the three Chags, the three Feasts, Passover, Shavuot and Sukkot. We this weekend are keeping Shavuot. So it is important to know when you are to meet with Yehovah.

And then what are you to do when you go before Him. We do not talk about this enough. It is abused by so many and that is not an excuse not to talk about it. And yet the law is before you. You chose whether to obey it to be blessed or to ignore it and suffer the consequences.

Here is the law once again.

Deu 16:16  Three times in a year shall all your males appear before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose: in the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and in the Feast of Weeks, and in the Feast of Tabernacles. And they shall not appear before Jehovah empty,

Deu 16:17  but each with his gift in his hand, according to the blessing of Jehovah your God, which He has given you.

The Feast of Weeks

Deu 16:9  You shall count seven weeks to yourselves. Begin to count the seven weeks from the time you began to put the sickle to the grain.

Deu 16:10  And you shall keep the Feast of Weeks to Jehovah your God with a measure of a free-will offering of your hand, which you shall give according as Jehovah your God has blessed you.

Deu 16:11  And you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your male servant, and your slave girl, and the Levite inside your gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, those among you, in the place which Jehovah your God has chosen to place His name there.

Deu 16:12  And you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt. And you shall be careful to do these statutes.

What most Christian groups teach you is to tithe to them all of your increase. They do not tell you to tithe 10% and set it aside for your own Holy Day festivals. You are to put 10% of your income in the cookie jar and use it at each of the three Feasts for you and your family and others. And you are to spend it on what ever your heart desires. Strong drink good food and you are to Rejoice. BE HAPPY.

Tithes

Deu 14:22  You shall truly tithe all the increase of your seed that the field brings forth year by year.

Deu 14:23  And you shall eat before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose to place His name there, the tithe of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the first-born of your herds and of your flocks, so that you may learn to fear Jehovah your God always.

Deu 14:24  And if the way is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry it, or if the place is too far from you, which Jehovah your God shall choose to set His name there, when Jehovah your God has blessed you,

Deu 14:25  then you shall turn it into silver and bind up the silver in your hand, and shall go to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose.

Deu 14:26  And you shall pay that silver for whatever your soul desires, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatever your soul desires. And you shall eat there before Jehovah your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your household

Deu 14:27  and the Levite within your gates, you shall not forsake him, for he has no part nor inheritance with you.

Deu 14:28  At the end of three years you shall bring forth all the tithe of your increase the same year, and shall lay it up inside your gates.

Deu 14:29  And the Levite, because he has no part nor inheritance with you, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are inside your gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied, so that Jehovah your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

You are also to take care of the Levite and the Widow and the orphan and the stranger.

I must ask you now to check your souls. How many of you are keeping these commandments? How many of you are taking 10% and rejoicing with your family and Yehovah at each of HIs three seasons? How many of you are taking care of the Widows, the orphans, and the Levites and strangers?

Sightedmoon.com has given a lot away to various groups and we never are sent anything from them afterwards. We have been telling you about the widows in the 3rd and 6th years and how you are to take care of them in those year. We do this, but they are also in need in years 1, 2, 4, and 5 the year we are in now as well as year 7.

Pro 3:9  Honor Jehovah with your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your increase;

Pro 3:10  and your barns shall be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst with new wine.

So how many of you are rolling in plenty with your barns stuffed and over flowing? How many of you are just getting by? How many of you have too much wealth?

Psa 96:7  Give to Jehovah, O families of the people; give to Jehovah glory and strength.

Psa 96:8  Give to Jehovah the glory due to His name; bring an offering, and come into His courts.

How many of you are doing this?

Pro 3:9  Honor Jehovah with your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your increase;

Pro 3:10  and your barns shall be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst with new wine.

Again go and check your barns, or your bank accounts. Are they full? Are they over flowing? If that is not the case then Yehovah must be lying, right? Or is it that you have never been generous to others or supported a cause? And you are just reaping your own selfishness, which is the inverse of what you are being told to do.

Don’t give Yehovah your first fruits and do not honour Him with your wealth. Don’t give Him anything and your barns will be empty and your presses dry. Much like many of you now have.

Haggai 1:4  Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your finished houses, and shall this House lie waste?

Haggai 1:5  And now so says Jehovah of Hosts: Set your heart on your ways;

Haggai 1:6  you have sown much and bring in little; you eat, but you do not have enough; you drink, but you are not filled with drink; you dress, but no one is warm; and he who hires out himself hires himself for a bag full of holes.

Haggai 1:7  So says Jehovah of Hosts: Set your heart on your ways.

Haggai 1:8  Go up the mountain and bring wood, and build this House; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, says Jehovah.

Haggai 1:9  You looked for much, and behold, little! And when you brought it home, then I blew on it. Why, says Jehovah of Hosts? Because of My House that is waste, and you, each man runs to his own house.

Ask yourselves what we have been doing here at sightedmoon.com since 2005. We have been trying to warn the world that the time was up and that we had to begin to obey the Torah now. We had to keep the Holy Days at the proper time according to the Barley being Aviv to begin the year and the crescent moon to begin the month. We have also shown you when the Sabbatical Years are and the Jubilee years. And we have correctly shown you how understanding these things reveals end time prophecies such as the Daniel 9 prophecy about the year 2020.

With this information we have also learned the end time roll for the people of East Africa and the Philippines, and we have been working since 2018 to prepare them and their nations for that roll. This is what we are doing today. It basically boils down to preparing people to be ready to serve in the Kingdom of Yehovah in just 12 years time when Satan is locked away and how to survive these next 12 years.

We are working on building the house of Yehovah by building the brethren up in obedience to Him.

Robbing God

Mal 3:6  For I am Jehovah, I change not. Because of this you sons of Jacob are not destroyed.

Mal 3:7  From the days of your fathers, you have turned aside from My statutes, and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you, says Jehovah of Hosts. But you say. In what way shall we return?

Mal 3:8  Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me. But you say, In what have we robbed You? In the tithe and the offering!

Mal 3:9  You are cursed with a curse; for you are robbing Me, the nation, all of it.

Mal 3:10  Bring all the tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. And test Me now with this, says Jehovah of Hosts, to see if I will not open the windows of Heaven for you, and pour out a blessing for you, until there is not enough room.

Mal 3:11  And I will rebuke your devourer, and he shall not decay the fruit of your ground against you; nor shall your vine miscarry against you in the field, says Jehovah of Hosts.

Yehovah has blessed us with this most Awesome of understandings. That is about the Jubilee Cycles and how they reveal the end of this age and end-time prophecy. He has given us a work to do and to warn others as a watch is commanded to do lest those he does not warn are killed and their blood be required from the watchman.

I have taken this warning in Ezekiel 33 seriously since I first read it. I have done this work alone and then with a few to warn others. We were dead right about 2020 and even about May 31st 2020. No one else was. Being correct about what is coming is no joyful matter yet it must be done. But still no one is lining up to help us.

Yehovah is telling you in the passages above how He will bless you if you are generous in building His house. We at sightedmoon.com, are striving to do that very thing. Again you have this opportunity to be blessed and to assist us in doing this great end-time work and be blessed for that as well.

You can send an e-transfer to admin@sightedmoon.com for any amount.

You can send a cheque of any amount in any denomination or currency to Joseph F Dumond or to Sightedmoon.com and mail it to;

Or you can make a donation on our web site using paypal or a credit card. Again we accept almost any currency you choose to send.

We would ask that you consider doing this on a monthly basis, so we can plan and schedule our work and payments for upcoming conferences and projects we are working on. Last we we showed you two of the Torah Schools we are helping to build and some fo the groups we are sponsoring and working with to reach a nation and the world through.

Put Yehovah to the Test and see, if He does not bless you and open up the heavens for your good. Are you going to stand before Him and say you never robbed Him?

You can begin today, right now to end that curse that has dogged you and your family. Yes it sound strange to give money away when you need it. So test Him. He has challenged you to do this, so try it.

He is knocking on the Door. Will you answer it? Will you obey?

The 3rd Wave Is Here

I have been concerned for some time and began to warn my family and you the brethren about COVID-19 back in January 2020 when I first began to see the news from China with people dropping dead in the streets. It had not yet arrived in north America.

Two Shabbats ago just before we began our online Shabbat service, I got news my youngest son had contracted COVID-19. It was as if someone had told me he has cancer. We had seen him two days before and he was looking very rough. My wife knew something was up. We learned the aweful truth as we were about to begin Shabbat services.

That same thursday we were also informed our Granddaughter was sent home because one of her classmates was positive for COVID. My wife was baby sitting her just a few days before she had learned she was potentially a carrier.

Our Brethren began to pray for him that same day I found out. My son is still fighting it but is 100% better, he says. My grand daughter has also retested and been cleared. We, here in Ontario and in Canada, are in the third wave now. Our Premier has shut down the province in an effort to stop the spread and here is why.

Over 400 ICU beds were occupied with COVID-19 patients as of the end of last week. Ontario has approximately 2,300 total ICU beds but approximately 1,400 are occupied with non-COVID patients, leaving about 900 beds left.

With 40 per cent of non-COVID ICU beds now full, and with a reproductive rate around 1.2, meaning brisk exponential growth, some are again growing concerned with a lack of beds and a lack of trained nurses to staff them.

“It can go bad pretty quick,” a member of Ontario’s health table told 680 NEWS.

Ontario has 2300 ICU beds. Elective surgery takes up about 1400 of them. COVID patient’s currently are over 500 as of April 9. The quote above comes from March 29, 2021, just a week before. We are expecting to go to over 800 ICU COVID patients in need of intensive nursing, in the next couple weeks. All elective surgeries are canceled. Torontos sick kids Hospital is now all sick kids from other hospitals in order to open up more beds in those hospitals for COVID patients. This is a troubling signs for sure.

At projected rates we will soon run out of beds. This means that if anyone gets COVID now, and needs intensive help or if I have a heart attack there will be no one to help us or no room to be treated in any hospital. Hospital staff are exhausted. They are numb and overwhelmed from the non stop deaths of people alone with no family there to comfort them in their last moments of life. People and you brethren have got to take this serious. It is a plague from Yehovah and we all need to repent. But too many brethren think it is the state trying to control them. Yehovah says this is going to cling to us until we are destroyed. It is part of the 2300 day process.

The drugs used to treat those in ICU with COVID are also now running low and being rationed.

TORONTO – An expert group is recommending Ontario clinicians ration doses of a drug used to treat COVID-19 as a supply shortage coincides with a third wave of infections that’s sending more patients into intensive care.

The scientists advising the province on the pandemic published revised clinical guidelines this week reflecting the shortage of tocilizumab, an anti-inflammatory drug approved in Canada to treat arthritis. A March report from the group found the drug reduced COVID-19 patients’ need for mechanical ventilation and improved chances of survival.

The COVID-19 science advisory table recommends the drug for critically and moderately ill patients and previously said a second dose could be considered after 24 hours if a patient didn’t improve. This week, its guidance was updated to recommend a fixed dose of 400 milligrams per patient and no second dose.

This week, British Columbia Hospitals sounded the alarm they are about to be overrun due to the new variants causing more to get sick and faster.

And now this week we also have the following news from April 10, 2021.

Since the start of the year, an uncontrollable second wave has pushed Brazil over the 300,000death mark. As the country continues to hit grim milestones – a record 4,247 deaths on Thursday alone – the entire South American nation is now the global COVID-19 epicentre, with experts warning that 5,000 Brazilians could lose their lives in a single day in April.

Brazil is nearing the single-day record that the United States registered on Jan. 20 of 4,405 deaths, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Brazil’s outbreak is spiraling out of control, with vaccines in short supply and Bolsonaro fighting lockdowns.

The public healthcare system has shown growing signs of buckling under the caseload, and a survey by the National Association of Private Hospitals (ANAHP) this week suggests even the richest hospitals are running short on critical medicine.

Three out of four private hospitals said they have a week or less of supplies for treating COVID-19, including oxygen, anesthesia and essential drugs for intubation, according to the ANAHP survey of 88 member hospitals across Brazil.

More than 345,000 people have died of COVID-19 in Brazil, making it the second-deadliest outbreak after the United States, whose population is about 50% greater at about 330 million.

We have been told by Yehovah these things would come. This is not some manmade event that many of you are claiming. It is Yehovah doing this.

Deu 28:15  And it shall be, if you will not listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, to observe and to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, all these curses shall come on you and overtake you.

Deu 28:16  You shall be cursed in the city, and cursed in the field.

Deu 28:17  Your basket and your store shall be cursed.

Deu 28:18  The fruit of your body shall be cursed, and the fruit of your land, the increase of your cows, and the flocks of your sheep.

Deu 28:19  You shall be cursed when you come in, and cursed when you go out.

Deu 28:20  Jehovah shall send on you cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed, and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings bywhich you have forsaken Me.

Deu 28:21  Jehovah shall make the plague cling to you until He has consumed you from off the land where you go to possess it.

Deu 28:22  Jehovah shall strike you with lung disease and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew. And they shall pursue you until you perish.

Deu 28:58  If you will not observe to do all the words of this Law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, JEHOVAH YOUR GOD,

Deu 28:59  then Jehovah will make your plagues remarkable, and the plagues of your seed great and persistent plagues; with evil and long-lasting sicknesses.

Deu 28:60  Also, He will bring on you all the diseases of Egypt of which you were afraid. And they shall cling to you.

Deu 28:61  Also, every sickness and every plague which is not written in the book of this Law, Jehovah will bring them on you until you are destroyed.

Deu 28:62  And you shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of the heavens for multitude, because you would not obey the voice of Jehovah your God.

Deu 28:63  And it shall be, as Jehovah rejoiced over you to do you good and to multiply you, so Jehovah will rejoice over you to destroy you and to bring you to nothing. And you shall be plucked from off the land where you go to possess it.

These are real people, sons daughters, parents brothers and sisters that are dying. Yoel HaLevi contracted it this past January and is out of ICU but still dealing with the after effects that last for years. A nurse who worked with my wife and the same age as my daughter contracted it last March and although recovered still breathes every breathe as if she was sucking it through a straw. She is just 40. Another nurse here in Toronto, died this week having contracted COVID. She could not go home to her family while she worked and when she got sick they could not come to see her. She leaves behind two young kids.

Many of you cheer on those Pastors who refuse to obey the mandates of the local governments to stop assembling in their efforts to stop the spread. Freedom of Assembly you cry.

Yet Yehovah tells you this is going to happen and we pointed it out to you in our book The 2300 Days of Hell.

Dan 9:27 And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease,

The Bullocks of your lips are being stopped if you think you can only worship when you assemble in some church building.

I greatly fear and am in awe of the mighty things I see Yehovah doing. I am greatly saddened to see so many write this off as not real and for them who think they are serving Yehovah to not see it at all. My trust is in Yehovah and I am not afraid. I am extremely saddened to be able to understand these end time events and to actually see them happening in real time on the nightly news each and every day.

I am working on the next video about this curse that is to come at this time in the 4th Sabbatical Cycle. We wrote of this in our book The Prophecies of Abraham and showed you in the charts how this plague comes in the 3rd and 4th Sabbatical Cycles like clock work and hundred of thousands die and million also die at other times.

Mal 3:6  For I am Jehovah, I change not.

You must ask why? Why is this happening. Too many are asking when can we get back to normal. The answer to that is never.

The answer to the question Why is this happening is because you will not and do not obey Yehovah. To get this plague to end, to stop COVID in its tracks just look what David did when faced with a plague at this very same time in the 4th Sabbatical cycle.

2Sa 24:15  And Jehovah sent a plague upon Israel from the morning even till the time appointed. And there died from the people, from Dan to Beer-sheba, seventy thousand men.

2Sa 24:16  And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, Jehovah turned from the evil, and said to the angel who destroyed the people, Enough! And stay your hand. And the angel of Jehovah was by the threshing-place of Araunah the Jebusite.

2Sa 24:17  And David spoke to Jehovah when he saw the angel who struck the people, and said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly. But these sheep, what have they done? I pray You, let Your hand be against me and against my father’s house.

2Sa 24:18  And Gad came that day to David, and said to him, Go up! Rear an altar to Jehovah in the threshing-floor of Araunah the Jebusite.

2Sa 24:19  And David went up, according to the saying of Gad, as Jehovah commanded.

2Sa 24:20  And Araunah looked and saw the king and his servants coming on toward him. And Araunah went out and bowed before the king, his face to the ground.

2Sa 24:21  And Araunah said, Why has my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshing-floor from you, to build an altar to Jehovah, so that the plague may be stayed from the people.

2Sa 24:22  And Araunah said to David, Let my lord the king take and offer up what seems good to him. Behold, oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments, and instruments of the oxen for wood.

2Sa 24:23  All these Araunah, like a king, gave to the king. And Araunah said to the king, May Jehovah your God accept you.

2Sa 24:24  And the king said to Araunah, No, but I will surely buy from you at a price. And I will not offer burnt offerings to Jehovah my God of that which costs menothing. And David bought the threshing-floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.

2Sa 24:25  And David built there an altar to Jehovah, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. And Jehovah was entreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.

Read that last line once again.

And David built there an altar to Jehovah, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. And Jehovah was entreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.

Have you offered burnt offerings, or sin offerings of repentance? Having done that have you offered peace offerings of love?

Instead of pointing fingers and accusing those doing a work for their failings, are you helping to hold them up in prayers? Are you supporting them by making a sacrifice of your own? Are you spreading lies and deceits or are you spreading the truth only found in the Torah?

It is time to draw near to Yehovah.

Just as David drew near and built an altar which then led to the time when Solomon would build the Temple, we are now in a similar plague that is going to lead to the restoration and building of the Temple but this time King David is going to serve as King and not Solomon.

Shavuot

Our Passover, this year started at sunset on February 27, 2021. Wave Sheaf Day or Yom HaNafat HaOmer also began at the very same time at sunset. Wave Sheaf Day was then from Sunset February 27 and day of February 28, 2021. This time represented the time when the people of Israel were freed from their enslavement to Pharaoh and to Egypt. Now we are at Shavuot April 18, 2021, having counted the 50 days from Yom HaNafat HaOmer, up until now. This represents the 50 days from Passover until Israel met with Yehovah on Mount Sinai. They were given the Torah and became a nation committed to serving Yehovah.

The Magnitude of this day cannot be expressed enough. But I am going to try. It’s ramifications are so awesome that it is absolutely stunning to understand.

It is during this 7 weeks that we are or should read the love story in the book of Ruth.

I want to also look at the 7 Churches of Revelation and for you to get the concluding message in relation to each of the 7 weeks we have just counted.

To the Church in Ephesus

Rev 2:1  To the angel of the church of Ephesus write: He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands, says these things.

Rev 2:2  I know your works and your labor and your patience, and how you cannot bear those who are evil. And you tried those pretending to be apostles, and are not, and have found them liars.

Rev 2:3  And you have borne, and have patience, and for My name’s sake you have labored and have not fainted.

Rev 2:4  But I have against you that you left your first love.

Rev 2:5  Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent, and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and will remove your lampstand out of its place unless you repent.

Rev 2:6  But you have this, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

Rev 2:7  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

To the Church in Smyrna

Rev 2:8  And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: The First and the Last, who became dead and lived, says these things:

Rev 2:9  I know your works and tribulation and poverty (but you are rich), and I know the blasphemy of those saying themselves to be Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

Rev 2:10  Do not at all fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the Devil will cast some of you into prison, so that you may be tried. And you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Rev 2:11  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death.

To the Church in Pergamum

Rev 2:12  And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write: He who has the sharp sword with two edges says these things.

Rev 2:13  I know your works, and where you live, evenwhere Satan’s seat is . And you hold fast My name and have not denied My faith, even in those days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwells.

Rev 2:14  But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the teachings of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling-block before the sons of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit fornication.

Rev 2:15  So you also have those who hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Rev 2:16  Repent! But if not I will come to you quickly, and will fight with them by the sword of My mouth.

Rev 2:17  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give to him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows except he who receives it .

To the Church in Thyatira

Rev 2:18  And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: The Son of God, He who has His eyes like a flame of fire and His feet like burnished metal, says these things:

Rev 2:19  I know your works and love and service and faith and your patience, and your works; and the last to be more than the first.

Rev 2:20  But I have a few things against you because you allow that woman Jezebel to teach, she saying herself to be a prophetess, and to cause My servants to go astray, and to commit fornication, and to eat idol-sacrifices.

Rev 2:21  And I gave her time that she might repent of her fornication, and she did not repent.

Rev 2:22  Behold, I am throwing her into a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great affliction, unless they repent of their deeds.

Rev 2:23  And I will kill her children with death. And all the churches will know that I am He who searches the reins and hearts, and I will give to every one of you according to your works.

Rev 2:24  But to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, and who have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak, I will put on you no other burden.

Rev 2:25  But that which you have, hold fast until I come.

Rev 2:26  And he who overcomes and keeps My works to the end, to him I will give power over the nations.

Rev 2:27  And he will rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of a potter they will be broken to pieces, even as I received from My Father.

Rev 2:28  And I will give him the Morning Star.

Rev 2:29  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

To the Church in Sardis

Rev 3:1  And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars says these things. I know your works, that you have a name that you live, and are dead.

Rev 3:2  Be watchful and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die. For I have not found your works being fulfilled before God.

Rev 3:3  Remember then how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.

Rev 3:4  You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments. And they will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy.

Rev 3:5  The one who overcomes, this one will be clothed in white clothing. And I will not blot out his name out of the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

Rev 3:6  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

To the Church in Philadelphia

Rev 3:7  And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: He who is holy, He who is true, He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts; and shuts and no one opens, says these things:

Rev 3:8  I know your works. Behold, I have given before you an open door, and no one can shut it. For you have a little strength and have kept My Word and have not denied My name.

Rev 3:9  Behold, I give out of those of the synagogue of Satan, those saying themselves to be Jews and are not, but lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

Rev 3:10  Because you have kept the Word of My patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation which will come upon all the habitable world, to try those who dwell upon the earth.

Rev 3:11  Behold, I come quickly. Hold fast to that which you have, so that no one may take your crown.

Rev 3:12  Him who overcomes I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will go out no more. And I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of Heaven from My God, and My new name.

Rev 3:13  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

To the Church in Laodicea

Rev 3:14  And to the angel of the church of the Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Head of the creation of God, says these things:

Rev 3:15  I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I would that you were cold or hot.

Rev 3:16  So because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

Rev 3:17  Because you say, I am rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing, and do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked,

Rev 3:18  I counsel you to buy from Me gold purified by fire, so that you may be rich; and white clothing, so that you may be clothed, and so that the shame of your nakedness does not appear. And anoint your eyes with eye salve, so that you may see.

Rev 3:19  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten; therefore be zealous and repent.

Rev 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him and he with Me.

Rev 3:21  To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame and have sat down with My Father in His throne.

Rev 3:22  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

I urge you all to take each warning to each of the 7 Churches to yourselves on a personal level. What I am going to do next is to take each of the 7 warnings and put all the intros together and all the parting remarks together.

With each of the introductions to each of the 7 Churches we have variable descriptions of our King who is knocking and coming quickly.

Rev 2:1  To the angel of the church of Ephesus write: He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands, says these things.

Rev 2:8  And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: The First and the Last, who became dead and lived, says these things:

Rev 2:12  And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write: He who has the sharp sword with two edges says these things.

Rev 2:18  And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: The Son of God, He who has His eyes like a flame of fire and His feet like burnished metal, says these things:

Rev 3:1  And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars says these things. I know your works, that you have a name that you live, and are dead.

Rev 3:7  And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: He who is holy, He who is true, He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts; and shuts and no one opens, says these things:

Rev 3:14  And to the angel of the church of the Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Head of the creation of God, says these things:

With each of the 7 Churches Yehovah then says this in parting, which each of us needs to listen to as we are commanded.

Rev 2:7  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Rev 2:11  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death.

Rev 2:17  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give to him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows except he who receives it .

Rev 2:25  But that which you have, hold fast until I come.

Rev 3:22  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

We are talking about sevening ourselves as we count the seven Shabbats leading up to Shavuot. Like the bride who circles her groom 7 times on their wedding day we go through the 7 Days of Shabbat and the 7 weeks of Shavuot and the 7 Feasts of the year each year and the 7 years until the Shemitah, and the 7 Sabbatical years until the Jubilee Year. We also have the 7 Millennium for us to learn to obey. Each one of these 7’s, teaching us something more about our Groom as we go around Him.

We also have the Wave Sheaf Day taking place on the 8th Day and Shavuot taking place on the 8th Day, and Shemini Atzeret taking place on the 8th Day of Sukkot and the Jubilee year taking place on the 8th Year of that final cycle and the 8th Millennium.

While each of the sevening processes involve the Bride going around her Groom, each of the 8th Day events involve Yehovah doing something for us.

Have you never considered this before? It is so obvious.

in 1379 BC the Passover took place at the end of Sabbath and the next day the first day of the week, Wave Sheaf Day they left Egypt.

1379 Exodus Passover

On this day, Yehovah paid the redemption price for Israel.

Exo 13:11  And it will be, when Jehovah shall bring you into the land of the Canaanites, as He swore to you and to your fathers, and shall give it to you,

Exo 13:12  you shall set apart to Jehovah every one that opens the womb, and every first-born that comes of any animal which you have; the males shall beJehovah’s.

Exo 13:13  And every first-born of an ass you shall redeem with a lamb. And if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. And all the first-born of man among your sons you shall redeem.

Exo 13:14  And it shall be when your sons asks you in time to come, saying, What is this? you shall say to him, Jehovah brought us out of Egypt by the strength of His hand, from the house of bondage.

Exo 13:15  And it happened when Pharaoh hardened himself against sending us, Jehovah killed all the first-born of the land of Egypt, both the first-born of man, and the first-born of animals. Therefore I sacrifice to Jehovah all that opens the womb, that are males. But all the first-born of my sons I redeem.

Exo 13:16  And it shall be for a token upon your hand, and for frontlets between your eyes. For Jehovah brought us out from Egypt by strength of His hand.

Our redeemer, Our Groom, Our Husband and our Messiah says this;

Israel’s Only Savior
Isa 43:1  But now so says Jehovah who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel; Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.

Isa 43:2  When you pass through the waters, I will bewith you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; nor shall the flame kindle on you.

Isa 43:3  For I am Jehovah your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for you.

Isa 43:4  Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honored, and I have loved you; therefore I will give men for you, and people for your life.

Isa 43:5  Fear not; for I am with you. I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west.

Isa 43:6  I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Do not keep back; bring My sons from far and My daughters from the ends of the earth;

Isa 43:7  everyone who is called by My name; for I have created him for My glory, I have formed him; yea, I havemade him.

Isa 43:8  Bring out the blind people who have eyes, and the deaf who have ears.

Isa 43:9  Let all the nations be brought together, and let the people be gathered; who among them can declare this and make us hear former things? Let them bring out their witnesses, that they may be justified; or let them hear, and say, It is true.

Isa 43:10  You are My witnesses, says Jehovah, and My servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me no God was formed, nor shall there be after Me.

Isa 43:11  I, I am Jehovah; and there is none to save besides Me.

Isa 43:12  I have declared, and have saved, and I have shown, when there was no strange god among you; therefore you are My witnesses, says Jehovah, that I am God.

Isa 43:13  Yea, before the day was, I am He; and no one delivers out of My hand; I will work, and who will reverse it?

Isa 43:14  So says Jehovah, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all of them as fugitives, and the Chaldeans, whose shout is in the ships.

Isa 43:15  I am Jehovah, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.

And to remember this special day in which Yehovah paid the dowry price as it were is the following.

Num 18:14  Everything devoted in Israel shall be yours.

Num 18:15  Everything that opens the womb in all flesh, which they bring to Jehovah, of men or animals, shall be yours. Nevertheless, the first-born of man you shall surely redeem, and the first-born of unclean animals you shall redeem.

Num 18:16  And those that are to be redeemed from a month old you shall redeem, according to your judgment for the silver of five shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs.

But also on this day, the first Wave Sheaf day Yehovah also did something else and very few understand it nor connect the two events together in order to understand prophecy and Yehovah’s plan of Salvation. It is stunning to grasp it and to understand.

We read of this in Matthew 28:50.

Mat 27:50  And crying again with a loud voice, Jesus released His spirit.

Mat 27:51  And, behold! The veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And the earth quaked, and the rocks were sheared,

Mat 27:52  and the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep arose,

Mat 27:53  and coming out of the tomb after His resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

These dead Saint came back to life and went into Jerusalem on what day? They came back to life after Yehshua came out of the grave at the end of the 7th Day just as the 8th Day or Wave Sheaf day had begun at sunset.

This is when the Barely Sheafs are cut and taken to the Temple that night and prepared to be waved the next day at 9 AM.

We read of the Resurrection day the following event concerning Mary. The first of the Sabbaths means it was the first week or first day of counting the 7 weeks to Shavuot.

The Resurrection

Joh 20:1  The first of the sabbaths Mary Magdalene came early to the tomb, darkness still being on it, and she saw the stone taken away from the tomb.

Joh 20:2  Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.

Joh 20:3  Therefore Peter and that other disciple went forth and came to the tomb.

Joh 20:4  So they both ran together. And the other disciple outran Peter and came first to the tomb.

Joh 20:5  And stooping down he saw the linens lying, yet he did not go in.

Joh 20:6  Then Simon Peter came following him and went into the tomb. And he saw the linens lying there.

Joh 20:7  And the grave-cloth that was on His head wasnot lying with the linens, but was wrapped up in one place by itself.

Joh 20:8  Therefore, then, that other disciple also went in, the one who came first to the tomb. And he saw and believed.

Joh 20:9  For as yet they did not know the Scripture that He must rise again from the dead.

Joh 20:10  Then the disciples went away again to themselves.

Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene
Joh 20:11  But Mary stood outside of the tomb, weeping. And as she wept, she stooped down into the tomb.

Joh 20:12  And she saw two angels in white sitting there, the one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

Joh 20:13  And they said to her, Woman, why do you weep? She said to them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.

Joh 20:14  And when she had said this, she turned backward and saw Jesus standing, but she did not know that it was Jesus.

Joh 20:15  Jesus said to her, Woman, why do you weep? Whom do you seek? Supposing Him to be the gardener, she said to Him, Sir, if you have carried Him away from here, tell me where you have laid Him and I will take Him away.

Joh 20:16  Jesus said to her, Mary! She turned herself and said to Him, Rabboni! (which is to say, Master!)

Joh 20:17  Jesus said to her, Do not touch Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, I ascend to My Father and Your Father, and to My God and your God.

Joh 20:18  Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord and that He had spoken these things to her.

On that first day of the week at 9 AM, when the Wave Sheaf offering was made Yehshua led those Saints who had come back to life to heaven with Him. This is the whole purpose of the Wave Sheaf Offering. It was to represent this great event that was to take place on this day. A Day when Yehovah was going to do something on the 8th Day of the week.

Eph 4:8  Therefore He says, “When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive and gave gifts to men.”

1Co 15:20  But now Christ has risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruit of those who slept.

This is why we are so keen on searching for the Barley because we know exactly what the first fruits represent. Not the second fruits. This is also the first Chag or the first of three times we are told to go up to Jerusalem for the Feast. This was the first of the three feasts we were to go up and this was the first Great Event.

That first Passover was the Groom knocking on the door and a dowry being given for Israel.

Once the Dowry is paid the couple sign what is called a Ketubah.

We read about this awesome event again on the 8th Day which was also the 50th day of Shavuot. The very day Israel met face to face with their Groom Yehovah at Mount Sinai.

Exo 19:1  In the third month when the sons of Israel had gone forth out of the land of Egypt, on this day they came to the wilderness of Sinai.

Exo 19:2  And they journeyed from Rephidim, and came to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness. And Israel camped there in front of the mount.

Exo 19:3  And Moses went up to God, and Jehovah called to him out of the mountain, saying, You shall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the sons of Israel:

Exo 19:4  You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.

Exo 19:5  And now if you will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to Me above all the nations; for all the earth isMine.

Exo 19:6  And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak to the sons of Israel.

Exo 19:7  And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which Jehovah commanded him.

Exo 19:8  And all the people answered together and said, All that Jehovah has spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people to Jehovah.

Exo 19:9  And Jehovah said to Moses, Lo, I come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever. And Moses told the words of the people to Jehovah.

Exo 19:10  And Jehovah said to Moses, Go to the people and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes.

Exo 19:11  And be ready for the third day. For the third day Jehovah will come down in the sight of all the people upon Mount Sinai.

Exo 19:12  And you shall set bounds to the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves. Do not go up into the mountain, or touch the border of it. Whoever touches the mountain shall be surely put to death.

Exo 19:13  There shall not be a hand to touch it, but that he shall surely be stoned or shot through; whether beast or man, it shall not live. When the trumpet sounds long, they shall come up to the mountain.

Exo 19:14  And Moses went down from the mountain to the people, and sanctified the people. And they washed their clothes.

Exo 19:15  And he said to the people, Be ready for the third day. Do not approach a woman.

Exo 19:16  And it happened on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mountain. And the voice of the trumpet was exceedingly loud, so that all the people in the camp trembled.

Exo 19:17  And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God. And they stood at the lower part of the mountain.

Exo 19:18  And Mount Sinai was smoking, all of it, because Jehovah came down upon it in fire. And the smoke of it went up like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.

Exo 19:19  And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and became very strong, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.

Exo 19:20  And Jehovah came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And Jehovah called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

Exo 19:21  And Jehovah said to Moses, Go down. Command the people, lest they break through to Jehovah to gaze, and many of them perish.

Exo 19:22  And let the priests also, who come near to Jehovah, sanctify themselves, lest Jehovah break forth upon them.

Exo 19:23  And Moses said to Jehovah, The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai. For You commanded us, saying, Set bounds around the mountain, and sanctify it.

Exo 19:24  And Jehovah said to him, Away! You go down, and you shall come up, you and Aaron with you. But do not let the priests and the people break through to come up to Jehovah, lest He break forth upon them.

Exo 19:25  And Moses went down to the people, and spoke to them.

The Ketubah they signed was the Ten Commandments.

Exo 20:1  And God spoke all these words, saying,

Exo 20:2  I am Jehovah your God, who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Exo 20:3  You shall have no other gods before Me.

Exo 20:4  You shall not make to yourselves any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

Exo 20:5  You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them. For I Jehovah your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons to the third and fourth generation of those that hate me,

Exo 20:6  and showing mercy to thousands of those that love Me and keep My commandments.

Exo 20:7  You shall not take the name of Jehovah your God in vain. For Jehovah will not hold him guiltless that takes His name in vain.

Exo 20:8  Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Exo 20:9  Six days you shall labor and do all your work.

Exo 20:10  But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Jehovah your God. You shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger within your gates.

Exo 20:11  For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and sanctified it.

Exo 20:12  Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long upon the land which Jehovah your God gives you.

Exo 20:13  You shall not kill.

Exo 20:14  You shall not commit adultery.

Exo 20:15  You shall not steal.

Exo 20:16  You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

Exo 20:17  You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.

Exo 20:18  And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. And when the people saw, they trembled, and stood afar off.

Exo 20:19  And they said to Moses, You speak with us, and we will hear. But let not God speak with us, lest we die.

Exo 20:20  And Moses said to the people, Do not fear, for God has come to test you, and so that His fear may be before your faces, so that you may not sin.

Exo 20:21  And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.

The Covenant Confirmed

Exo 24:1  And He said to Moses, Come up to Jehovah, you and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel. And bow yourselves afar off.

Exo 24:2  And Moses alone shall come near Jehovah, but they shall not come near. Neither shall the people go up with him.

Exo 24:3  And Moses came and told the people all the Words of Jehovah, and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said, All the words which Jehovah has said, we will do.

Exo 24:4  And Moses wrote all the Words of Jehovah, and rose up early in the morning, and built an altar below the mountain and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

Exo 24:5  And he sent young men of the sons of Israel who offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of bulls to Jehovah.

Exo 24:6  And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

Exo 24:7  And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the ears of the people. And they said, All that Jehovah has said we will do, and be obedient.

Exo 24:8  And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which Jehovah has made with you concerning all these words.

Exo 24:9  And Moses went up, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel.

Exo 24:10  And they saw the God of Israel. And there wasunder His feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as the essence of the heavens for clearness.

Exo 24:11  And upon the nobles of the sons of Israel He did not lay his hands. Also they saw God, and ate and drank.

Exo 24:12  And Jehovah said to Moses, Come up to Me in the mountain, and be there. And I will give you tablets of stone, and the Law, and commandments which I have written, so that you may teach them.

Exo 24:13  And Moses rose up, and his attendant Joshua. And Moses went up into the mountain of God.

Exo 24:14  And he said to the elders, You stay here for us until we come again to you. And behold, Aaron and Hur are with you. If any man has any matters to do, let him come to them.

Exo 24:15  And Moses went up into the mountain, and a cloud covered the mountain.

Exo 24:16  And the glory of Jehovah abode upon Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

Exo 24:17  And the sight of the glory of Jehovah was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the sons of Israel.

Exo 24:18  And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and went up into the mountain. And Moses was in the mountain forty days and forty nights.

So we have the Ketubah being agreed to three times by Israel in the following three places. And then the 70 Elder sat down and ate a meal with Yehovah to seal the Ketubah agreement as you just read. How awesome would that have been. And we can now go to that very same place today and visit this place on Mount Sinai.

Exo 19:8  And all the people answered together and said, All that Jehovah has spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people to Jehovah.

Exo 24:3  And Moses came and told the people all the Words of Jehovah, and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said, All the words which Jehovah has said, we will do.

Exo 24:7  And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the ears of the people. And they said, All that Jehovah has said we will do, and be obedient.

This word Ketubah comes from the word written in Exodus 31:18

Exo 31:16  Therefore the sons of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for an everlasting covenant.

Exo 31:17  It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever. For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested, and was refreshed.

Exo 31:18  And He gave to Moses, when He had made an end of speaking with him upon Mount Sinai, two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written by the finger of God.

H3789   (Strong)
כָּתַב

kâthab

kaw-thab’

A primitive root; to grave; by implication to write (describe, inscribe, prescribe, subscribe): – describe, record, prescribe, subscribe, write (-ing, -ten).

Yehovah and all of Israel three times and then the 70 Elders all agreed to this Ketubah written by Yehovah. This is a contract. We are betrothed, engaged, but not yet married to Yehovah.

This is an engagement it is not the marriage.

Then later on we read in the book of Acts, how the Holy Spirit was given on this very same day.

Act 2:1  And in the fulfilling of the day of Pentecost, they were all with one accord in one place.

Act 2:2  And suddenly a sound came out of the heaven as borne along by the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Act 2:3  And tongues as of fire appeared to them, being distributed; and it sat upon each of them.

Act 2:4  And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Act 2:5  And dwelling at Jerusalem there were Jews, devout men out of every nation under heaven.

Act 2:6  But this sound occurring, the multitude came together and were confounded, because they each heard them speaking in his own dialect.

Act 2:7  And they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, Behold, are not these who speak all Galileans?

Act 2:8  And how do we each hear in our own dialect in which we were born?

Act 2:9  Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

Act 2:10  Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya around Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

Act 2:11  Cretans and Arabians, we hear them speaking the great things of God in our own languages.

Act 2:12  And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying to one another, What does this mean?

This is also the 8th Sabbath since Passover. What does this mean?

And we are told something else that is going to happen on this very same day.

1Co 15:50  And I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption.

1Co 15:51  Behold, I speak a mystery to you; we shall not all fall asleep, but we shall all be changed;

1Co 15:52  in a moment, in a glance of an eye, at the last trumpet. For a trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall all be changed.

1Co 15:53  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

1Co 15:54  But when this corruptible shall put on incorruption, and when this mortal shall put on immortality, then will take place the word that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory.

1Co 15:55  O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?”

1Co 15:56  The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the Law.

1Co 15:57  But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Co 15:58  So that, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not without fruit in the Lord.

We just read about the trumpets blasts on this day in Exodus 19;

Exo 19:16  And it happened on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mountain. And the voice of the trumpet was exceedingly loud, so that all the people in the camp trembled.

Exo 20:18  And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. And when the people saw, they trembled, and stood afar off.

We read about this Trumpet going off when Israel is in captivity at the end of this age

Isaiah 27:13 And it shall be, in that day the great ram’s horn shall be blown, and those perishing in the land of Assyria shall come, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt shall come and shall worship Jehovah in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.

And again in Zechariah.

Zec 9:14  And Jehovah shall be seen over them, and His arrow shall go forth like the lightning; and the Lord Jehovah shall blow the ram’s horn, and shall go out with the windstorms of the south.

Zec 9:15  Jehovah of Hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour and trample the slingstones. And they shall drink and be boisterous, as through wine. And they shall be filled like a bowl, and like the corners of the altar.

Zec 9:16  And Jehovah their God shall save them in that day as the flock of His people; for they are as stones of a crown, lifted up as a banner over His land.

Zec 9:17  For how great is its goodness and how great its beauty! Grain shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the virgins.

Yehshua also told us of this same day.

Matthew 24:31  And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

And John wrote of this day but I strongly suspect it had a double meaning for both Passover and Shavuot.

John 5:25  Truly, truly, I say to you, The hour is coming and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they who hear shall live.

Yes, Paul most certainly understood the meaning of this Holy Days and what they represented.

1Th 4:13  But I would not have you ignorant, brothers, concerning those who are asleep, that you be not grieved, even as others who have no hope.

1Th 4:14  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him all those who have fallen asleep through Jesus.

1Th 4:15  For we say this to you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall not go before those who are asleep.

1Th 4:16  For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ shall rise first.

1Th 4:17  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And so we shall ever be with the Lord.

1Th 4:18  Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Stop here and think.

At Passover we have these events taking place on the 8th Day or Wave Sheaf Day.

  1. Wave Sheaf Day
  2. The 8th Day
  3. The Dowery Paid
  4. The Start of the Exodus
  5. Yehshua coming out of the Grave just as Wave Sheaf Day begins
  6. The Raising of the Saints to Life
  7. The Saints being taken to heaven

Now when we come to Shavuot we have the following events taking place on this day.

  1. Waving of the Two Loafs
  2. The 8th Sabbath since Passover
  3. The Ketubah Signed between Yehovah and Israel
  4. The Holy Spirit given. (Dowery Price)
  5. Yehovah coming back to gather the Saints
  6. All the Saints who have died since 31 AD will be raised back to life
  7. Those of us alive at this time will be changed along with those just raised up
  8. All of us will rise to meet Yehovah in the clouds

We strongly believe because of our understanding about the Jubilee Cycles, that this Shavuot spoken of here is going to take place in the year 2033. That is just 12 years from now. Think about this. This is how close we are.

And now that you understand this, as Paul did and as the Thessalonians did, you too should take comfort in these words.

1Th 5:1  But of the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that I write to you.

1Th 5:2  For you yourselves know accurately that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.

1Th 5:3  For when they shall say, Peace and safety! Then sudden destruction comes on them, as travail upon a woman with child. And they shall not escape.

1Th 5:4  But you, brothers, are not in darkness, that the Day should overtake you like a thief.

1Th 5:5  You are all the sons of light and the sons of the day. We are not of the night, or of darkness.

1Th 5:6  Therefore let us not sleep as the rest do, but let us watch and be calm.

1Th 5:7  For those sleeping sleep in the night, and those being drunken are drunken in the night.

1Th 5:8  But let us, who are of the day, be calm, having put on the breastplate of faith and love and the hope of salvation for a helmet.

1Th 5:9  For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

1Th 5:10  who died for us, so that whether we watch or sleep we should live together with Him.

1Th 5:11  Therefore comfort one another, and edify one another, even as you also do.

To help us understand the feast of Shavuot more completely we must also look at another 8th event.

The Year of Jubilee

Lev 25:8  And you shall number seven sabbaths of years to you, seven times seven years. And the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be forty-nine years to you.

Lev 25:9  Then you shall cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth of the seventh month; in the day of atonement, the trumpet shall sound throughout all your land.

This 10th day of the 7th month is in the 50th year, not the 49th year. It takes place in the 50th year on the Day of Yom Kippur. And there is a great reason for this. A future historic great event. Satan will by this time, be thrown into the Lake of Fire and forever gone. Then, then we can rejoice and get ready for the great wedding about to take place.

Lev 25:10  And you shall make the fiftieth year holy, one year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee to you, and you shall return each man to his possession, and you shall return each man to his family.

Lev 25:11  That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee to you. You shall not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself in it, nor gather in it of your undressed vine.

Lev 25:12  For it is the jubilee. It shall be holy to you. You shall eat the increase of it out of the field.

Lev 25:13  In the year of this jubilee you shall return each man to his possession.

The final restoration of people and clans to their inheritance.

Lev 25:14  And if you sell anything to your neighbor, or buy from your neighbor’s hand, you shall not oppress one another.

Lev 25:15  According to the number of years after the jubilee you shall buy of your neighbor, according to the number of years of the fruits he shall sell to you.

Lev 25:16  According to the number of years you shall increase the price of it, and according to the fewness of years you shall diminish the price of it, for he is selling to you the number of crops.

Lev 25:17  And you shall not oppress one another. But you shall fear your God. For I am Jehovah your God.

Lev 25:18  And you shall do My statutes, and keep My judgments and do them. And you shall dwell in the land in safety.

Lev 25:19  And the land shall yield its fruits, and you shall eat your fill and dwell in it in safety.

Lev 25:20  And if you shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? Behold, we shall not sow nor gather in our increase!

Lev 25:21  Then I will command My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

Lev 25:22  And you shall sow the eighth year, and eat of old fruit until the ninth year; until its fruits come in, you shall eat the old fruit.

As you now read the rest of Leviticus 25, take special note of how many times Yehovah keeps referring back to the Exodus which was done on the 8th Day. The same day Yehovah redeemed Israel by paying for them with the lives of the first born of Egypt.

Kindness for Poor Brothers

Lev 25:35  And if your brother has become poor, and his hand has failed with you, then you shall help him; yes, even if he is a stranger or a tenant, so that he may live with you.

Lev 25:36  You shall take no interest from him, or increase. But you shall fear your God, so that your brother may live with you.

Lev 25:37  You shall not give him your silver on interest, nor lend him your food for increase.

Lev 25:38  I am Jehovah your God who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God.

Lev 25:39  And if your brother who lives beside you has become poor, and is sold to you, you shall not compel him to serve as a bond-servant.

Lev 25:40  As a hired servant, as a temporary resident, he shall be with you, and shall serve you until the year of jubilee.

Lev 25:41  And he shall depart from you, he and his sons with him, and shall return to his own family. And he shall return to the possession of his fathers.

Lev 25:42  For they are My servants, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt. They shall not be sold as a slave.

Lev 25:43  You shall not rule over him with rigor, but shall fear your God.

Lev 25:44  Both your male slaves, and your female slaves whom you shall have, shall be of the nations that are all around you. You shall buy male slaves and female slaves from them.

Lev 25:45  And also you may buy of the sons of the tenants who are staying with you; and from their families that are with you, whom they fathered in your land. And they shall be your possession.

Lev 25:46  And you shall take them as an inheritance for your sons after you, to hold for a possession; you may lay service on them forever. But you shall not rule over your brothers, the sons of Israel, over one another, with harshness.

Redeeming a Poor Man

Lev 25:47  And if an alien or a tenant lifts up a hand among you, and your brother who dwells beside him becomes poor and sells himself to the alien or tenant by you, or to the offshoot of the alien’s family,

Lev 25:48  after he is sold he may be redeemed again. One of his brothers may redeem him;

Lev 25:49  either his uncle or his uncle’s son may redeem him, or any that is near of kin to him of his family may redeem him. Or if he is able, he may redeem himself.

Lev 25:50  And he shall count with his buyer from the year that he was sold to him, until the year of jubilee. And the price of his sale shall be according to the number of years, according to the time of a hired servant it shall be with him.

Lev 25:51  If there are still many years, he shall give again the price of his redemption out of the silver that he was bought for, according to the years.

Lev 25:52  And if there remain but few years to the year of jubilee, then he shall count with him, and according to his years he shall give him again the price of his redemption.

Lev 25:53  As a yearly hired servant he shall be with him; he shall not rule with harshness in your sight.

Lev 25:54  And if he is not redeemed in this way, then he shall go out in the year of jubilee, he and his sons with him.

Lev 25:55  For to Me the sons of Israel are servants. They are My servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt. I am Jehovah your God.

Just as Yehovah counted the days from the time of the Exodus like an excited groom until the day He pops the question at Shavuot, so Yehovah is counting the years down as well until we have our Freedom from the ruler of this world Satan.

On the Day of Atonement Satan is to be locked away. On this same day the Trumpet will be sounded in all the world to;

proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee to you, and you shall return each man to his possession, and you shall return each man to his family.

At the end of this the 6th Millennium and again according to our understanding of the Jubilee Cycles, Satan is going to be locked away in the year 2033.

The Thousand Years

Rev 20:1  And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.

Rev 20:2  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

Rev 20:3  And he cast him into the abyss and shut him up and set a seal on him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years should be fulfilled. And after that he must be loosed a little time.

The Defeat of Satan

Rev 20:7  And when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be loosed out of his prison.

Rev 20:8  And he will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle. The number of them is as the sand of the sea.

Rev 20:9  And they went up over the breadth of the earth and circled around the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of Heaven and devoured them.

Rev 20:10  And the Devil who deceived them was cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were . And he will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

At the end of the 7th Millennium then Satan is loosed for a short time before that final time when the Jubilee Shofar will sound on the Day of Atonement and the 8th Millennium begins. This brings us to the 8th Day Feast of Shemini Atzeret, which is one of the least udnerstood Holy Days and yet the most important of them all.

Lev 23:35  On the first day shall be a holy convocation. You shall do no work of labor.

Lev 23:36  Seven days you shall offer a fire offering to Jehovah. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you. And you shall offer a fire offering to Jehovah. It is a solemn assembly. And you shall do no work of labor.

23:39  Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep a feast to Jehovah seven days. On the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

That is all we are told about this most awesome of Festival days.

What is the meaning of this 8th Day Feast and what does it have to do with Shavuot?

Absolutely everything!!!

It was on this 8th Day Feast that Solomon dedicated the Temple to Yehovah.

2 Chronicles 7:8  And at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath to the river of Egypt.

2 Chronicles 7:9  And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly. For they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.

2 Chronicles 7:10  And on the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that Jehovah had shown to David, and to Solomon, and to Israel His people.

2 Chronicles 7:11  So Solomon finished the house of Jehovah, and the king’s house. And all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of Jehovah, and in his own house, he did with success.

The 23rd day is the day after the 8th Day Feast which is on the 22nd day of the 7th Month. But what happened on that 8th day that was beyond special?

On the 8th Day Feast, Shemini Atzeret, Yehovah came down from Heaven and dwelt with us in the Temple. This was the day He came to the earth to dwell with man.

Fire from Heaven

2Ch 7:1  And when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from Heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices. And the glory of Jehovah filled the house.

2Ch 7:2  And the priests could not enter into the house of Jehovah because the glory of Jehovah had filled Jehovah’s house.

2Ch 7:3  And when all the sons of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of Jehovah on the house, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised Jehovah, saying, For He isgood, for His mercy endures forever.

What is the will of Yehovah. Yes that we keep His Commandments.

1Jn 5:3  For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments, and His commandments are not burdensome.

But His will or His desire is to dwell with man here on earth. In the Garden of Eden we here how Yehovah walked with Adam and Eve.

Gen 3:8  And they heard the voice of Jehovah God walking in the garden in the cool of the day. And Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Jehovah God in the middle of the trees of the garden.

Gen 3:9  And Jehovah God called to Adam and said to him, Where are you?

We also see Yehovah dwelling with Moses and the Israelites once the Tabernacle was built.

Exo 40:1  And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Exo 40:2  You shall set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation on the first day of the first month.

Exo 40:17  And it was in the first month in the second year, on the first of the month, the tabernacle was reared up.

The Glory of the Lord

Exo 40:34  And the cloud covered the tabernacle of the congregation, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.

Exo 40:35  And Moses was not able to enter into the tabernacle of the congregation because the cloud stayed on it, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.

Exo 40:36  And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the sons of Israel journeyed on in all their journeys.

Exo 40:37  But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not journey until the day that it was taken up.

Exo 40:38  For the cloud of Jehovah was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, in all their journeys.

We have already mentioned when Yehovah came and dwelt in the Temple after Solomon dedicated it. And Yehshua was celebrating this 8th Day Feast in John 10:22 at the Feast of Dedication, the 8th day of the Feast of Sukkot, He said;

Rivers of Living Water

Joh 7:37  And in the last day of the great feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

Joh 7:38  He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, “Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

Joh 7:39  (But He spoke this about the Spirit, which they who believed on Him should receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Sukkot has a special ceremony that counts down to the 8th Day. starting with the first day of Sukkkot 13 Bulls were sacrificed and then on the 2nd day 12 Bulls, then on the 3rd day, 11 bulls. On the 4th day, 10 Bulls, on the 5th day, 9 Bulls, and then on the 6th day, 8 Bull, and on the 7th day 7 bulls, for a total of 70 bulls which represent the nations of the world.

Numbers 29:12-38   (MKJV)
12  And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no laboring work, and you shall keep a feast to Jehovah seven days.

13  And you shall offer a burnt offering, a fire offering, of a sweet savor to Jehovah: thirteen young bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year. They shall be without blemish.

14  And their food offering shall be flour, mixed with oil, three tenth parts to every bull of the thirteen bulls, two tenth parts to each ram of the two rams,

15  and one tenth part to each lamb of the fourteen lambs;

16  and one kid of the goats for a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, its food offering, and its drink offering.

17  And on the second day you shall offer twelve young bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without spot;

18  and their food offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, according to the law;

19  and one kid of the goats for a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering and its food offering, and their drink offerings.

20  And on the third day eleven bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish;

21  and their food offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, according to the law;

22  and one goat for a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering and its food offering and its drink offering.

23  And on the fourth day ten bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish;

24  their food offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, according to the law;

25  and one kid of the goats for a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, its food offering, and its drink offering.

26  And on the fifth day nine bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without spot;

27  and their food offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, according to the law;

28  and one goat for a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering and its food offering and its drink offering.

29  And on the sixth day eight bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish;

30  and their food offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, for the lambs, shall be according to their number, according to the law;

31  and one goat for a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, its food offering, and its drink offering.

32  And on the seventh day seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish;

33  and their food offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, according to the law;

34  and one goat for a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, its food offering, and its drink offering.

35  On the eighth day you shall have a solemn assembly. You shall do no laboring work.

36  But you shall offer a burnt offering, a fire offering of a sweet savor to Jehovah: one bull, one ram, seven lambs of the first year without blemish;

37  their food offering and their drink offerings for the bull, for the ram, and for the lambs, according to their number, according to the law;

38  and one goat for a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, and its food offering and its drink offering.

During these celebrations the lighting ceremony was also done each day.

This occasion proved to be a most joyous and festive observance. From the Mishnah (Sukkah 5:2-3) we are told that “At the close of the first Holyday” the priests would descend from the Court of the Israelites to the Court of Women.(24) In the court four huge candelabra were placed, each “with four golden bowls at their tops and four ladders to each one.” Each candelabra were fifty cubits in height. Wicks made “from the worn-out drawers and girdles of the priests” were placed in each bowl and lit. It is said that “there was no courtyard in Jerusalem that was not lit up with the light” which came from these candelabras.

The rest of the night was spent in joyous activities in the Court of Women. Mishnah Sukkah 5:4 says:

Pious men and men of good deeds used to dance before them (the candelabra) with burning torches in their hands and sang before them songs and praises. And the Levites on harps, and on lyres, and with cymbals, and with trumpets and with other instruments of music without number upon the fifteen steps leading down from the court of the Israelites to the Women’s Court, corresponding to the Fifteen Songs of Ascent in the Psalms [Psalms 120-134]; upon them the Levites used to stand with musical instruments and sing hymns.

And it was during this time when Yehshua said;

Joh 8:12  Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Zechariah wrote about this time and he was read during the feast because of the things he prohecied about. The Light and the living waters, both of which Yehshua addressed.

Zec 14:6  And it will be in that day, there shall not be light; the glorious ones shall shrink.

Zec 14:7  And it will be one day which shall be known to Jehovah, neither day nor night; but it will happen that at evening time it shall be light.

Zec 14:8  And it shall be in that day, living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them shall go toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea. In summer and in winter it shall be.

All of this is climaxed with great joy with the start of Shemini Atzeret, the 8th Day Feast. This is the climax of all the Feast day sand it is what all the Feast days point to. The time when Yehovah will dwell with man again here on this earth.

With the first Chag, the first time we are told to go up to Jerusalem the Saints were raised and ascended to heaven with Yehshua. At the second Chag, the second time we are told to go up to Jerusalem, we will be changed in the twinkling of an eye and the dead in Christ will be raised up. Shavuot. The third Chag is Sukkot and this is when the rest of mankind will be raised up.

Rev 20:4  And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast nor his image, nor had received his mark on their foreheads, nor in their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Rev 20:5  But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Rev 20:6  Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. The second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him a thousand years.

But after this 7th Millennium is the 8th Millennium. It is represented by the 8th Day Feast Shemini Atzeret, by Shavuot, By Wave Sheaf Day at Passover and by the Jubilee Year.

All of these things explain the purpose and meaning of Shemini Atzeret. All of these things are summed up in the last two chapters of Revelations.

The New Heaven and the New Earth

Rev 21:1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. And the sea no longer is.

Rev 21:2  And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her Husband.

Rev 21:3  And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God.

Rev 21:4  And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there will be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying out, nor will there be any more pain; for the first things passed away.

Rev 21:5  And He sitting on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful.

Rev 21:6  And He said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who thirsts I will give of the fountain of the Water of Life freely.

Rev 21:7  He who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.

Rev 21:8  But the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, will have their part in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

The New Jerusalem

Rev 21:9  And one of the seven angels who had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, Come here, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

Rev 21:10  And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of Heaven from God,

Rev 21:11  having the glory of God. And its light was like a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.

Rev 21:12  And it had a great and high wall, with twelve gates. And on the gates were twelve angels, and having names inscribed, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel:

Rev 21:13  From the east three gates, from the north three gates, from the south three gates, and from the west three gates.

Rev 21:14  And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

Rev 21:15  And he who talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city and its gates and its wall.

Rev 21:16  And the city lies four-square, and the length is as large as the breadth. And he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand stadia. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

Rev 21:17  And he measured its wall, a hundred andforty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.

Rev 21:18  And the foundation of its wall was jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.

Rev 21:19  And the foundations of the wall of the city had been adorned with every precious stone. The first foundation, jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;

Rev 21:20  the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, hyacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.

Rev 21:21  And the twelve gates were twelve pearls. Respectively, each one of the gates was one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, as transparent glass.

Rev 21:22  And I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty is its temple, even the Lamb.

Rev 21:23  And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they might shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

Rev 21:24  And the nations of those who are saved will walk in the light of it; and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.

Rev 21:25  And its gates may not be shut at all by day, for there shall be no night there.

Rev 21:26  And they shall bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.

Rev 21:27  And there shall in no way enter into it anything that defiles, or any making an abomination or a lie; but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

At Passover Yehovah paid the redemption price for ISrael.

At Shavuot Yehovah gave you HIs Ketubah, His Torah, and alter His Holy Spirit.

Now at Shemini Atzeret, He is going to dwell with us here on this earth. He is going to send down a new Jerusalem made out of precious stone. This is the place Yehshua has been preparing for us.

Joh 14:1  Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in Me.

Joh 14:2  In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Joh 14:3  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, so that where I am, you may be also.

Getting back to the meaning of this 8th Day Feast of Shavuot and of the Wave Sheaf day and Shemini Atzeret and the Jubilee year. They are all summarized here in the last book.

The River of Life

Rev 22:1  And he showed me a pure river of Water of Life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Rev 22:2  In the midst of its street, and of the river, from here and from there, was the Tree of Life, which bore twelve fruits, each yielding its fruit according to one month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Rev 22:3  And every curse will no longer be; but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His servants will serve Him.

Rev 22:4  And they will see His face, and His name will be in their foreheads.

Rev 22:5  And there will be no night there. And they need no lamp, or light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light. And they will reign forever and ever.

Jesus Is Coming

Rev 22:6  And he said to me, These sayings are faithful and true. And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show to His servants the things which must shortly be done.

Rev 22:7  Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the Words of the prophecy of this Book.

Rev 22:8  And I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel showing me these things.

Rev 22:9  Then he said to me, Behold! See, do not do it! For I am your fellow-servant, and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who keep the Words of this Book. Do worship to God.

Rev 22:10  And he said to me, Do not seal the Words of the prophecy of this Book; for the time is at hand.

Rev 22:11  He acting unjustly, let him still act unjustly. And the filthy, let him be filthy still. And the righteous, let him be righteous still. And the holy, let him be holy still.

Rev 22:12  And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each according as his work is.

Rev 22:13  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, the First and the Last.

Rev 22:14  Blessed are they who do His commandments, that their authority will be over the Tree of Life, and they may enter in by the gates into the city.

Rev 22:15  But outside are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and makes a lie.

Rev 22:16  I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify these things to you over the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright and Morning Star.

Rev 22:17  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come! And let the one hearing say, Come! And let the one who is thirsty come. And he willing, let him take of the Water of Life freely.

Rev 22:18  For I testify together to everyone who hears the Words of the prophecy of this Book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add on him the plagues that have been written in this Book.

Rev 22:19  And if anyone takes away from the Words of the Book of this prophecy, God will take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which have been written in this Book.

Rev 22:20  He who testifies these things says, Yes, I am coming quickly, Amen. Yes, come, Lord Jesus.

Rev 22:21  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you. Amen.

As you keep this Shavuot and think about all I have shared above do not neglect this warning to the churches.

    Questions:
Is the last trumpet blown on Shavuot or Yom Kippur?

I thought the 50th year was the 1st year in the next cycle, how can the Torah say make the 50th year a holy year?
The Jubilee is the 49yr or 50th?

    Thank you for this newsletter

Shabbat Shalom Robert, the 50th year is the 1st year of the next Jubilee Cycle, yes. It is not the 49th year. No. The 49th and 50th years are Holy Years and you will not plant nor harvest in those years.

The Last Trumpet on the Day of Shavuot announced the arrival of Yehovah. For us in the near future it will announce the resurrection of the dead and those of us alive to be changed. The Trumpet blasts on the Feast of Trumpets announces the time when our Messiah Comes again.

      Hope that helps.

I live in South Africa and contracted our so-called 2nd wave that was peculiarly more deadly than the first form. Being over 50 years old and 150kg I were a prime candidate to die from covid. Truely, me and my wife (59kg) were very sick and the possibility of death were quite evident when we received a veterinary alternative to Ivermectin from a farmer in our region. The medication were already used for dosing cattle on his farm so we decided to apply it to the skin rather than drinking it. Within 16 hours from applying the drug it were clear that the sickness were broken. Within 3 days both of us were back to full prior strength as if nothing happened. I used 3ml on the first day and 2ml on the 2nd and 3rd days.

In the events of the Angel of Yehovah smiting 70 000 in the days of David and 185 000 in one night in the days of Hiskia from the Assirian army shows that covid is not from Yehovah. If it was from Yehovah much more would have died in a much shorter time frame and no cures like hydroxy chloroquine or Ivermectin (both being anti-parasitic drugs) would be a available. YHVH merrily allows this covid plague.

Chag Sameach Kobus, Glad to know you have recovered. 3 Million have now died around the world and you’re still not going to credit Yehovah with this? It comes exactly when He said it would. We know Yehovah is doing a work as we come to the close of this 6th Millennial Day. He does not want any to die, rather He would they all obey. He leaves them the choice. And He will raise them all up at the end of the 7th Millennium. There is no need to cut their lives short, but the world will not obey.
Yes this is indeed a curse from Yehovah!

Shalom Joe. Am hoping man will come to knowledge of the clear instructions of the great El and Repent. As we celebrate Shavuot this day, let remember the curse still is clung on as a result of mankind’s rebellious nature.
