Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,
Shabbat Shalom to you all.
Each week, we have an article or ad about our book It Was A Riddle, Not A Command. In that book, we show you the proper meaning of the expression Yehshua spoke when He said, “No man would know the day or the hour.” He was not telling you that you could no know when He was to return, but in fact, He was telling you the very day if you obeyed and understood the meanings of each of the Holy Days. If you have not yet read this book, I urge you to do so ASAP.
This Sunday evening is another opportunity to discover that meaning by going out to look for the new crescent moon. Saturday will be a solar eclipse.
Keep me in your prayers as I head to Japan this week to share with the brethren there about the Jubilee cycles and how they reveal end-time prophecies. We have speaking engagements each day and then the following Sunday, I am heading to the Philippines. Again, I ask for your prayers that we are able to reach those Yehovah is drawing closer to hear our message.
One of the questions asked each year is where are we told to count the Omer? When we show you the answer then I am also going to show you what it really means and just how important it is to number our days.
Torah Portion
Torah Portions
We read through the entire Torah along with the Prophets and the New Testament, once over the course of 3 1/2 years. Or according to the Sabbatical Cycle which means we read it all twice over a 7-year period. This allows us to cover more in-depth rather than being rushed to cover as much as is covered on an annual basis. We allow all to comment and take part in the discussions.
Septennial Torah Portion
If you go to Torah Portion in our archived section, you can then go to the 1st year, which is the 1st year of the Sabbatical Cycle, the one we are in now, as we state at the top of every Newsletter. There, you can scroll down to the proper date and see that this Shabbat, we could very well be midrashing about:
Exodus 12
1 Kings 20
Psalm 119:75-131
John 1
We are in the 1st Sabbatical Cycle in 2024-2025. We go through the entire bible twice in a 7 year cycle. This means we cover the entire bible once every 3 1/2 years. It gives us more time to debate and discuss each portion we read.
If you missed last week’s exciting discoveries as we studied that section, you can go and watch past Shabbats on our media section.
Join Our Sabbath Meetings
Join Our Sabbath Meetings
There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.
What are we doing and why do we teach this way?
We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.
The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.
Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and you and I are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.
Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.
Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.
We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.
We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s, Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.
Jas 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.
We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.
We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.
Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers, songs and teaching from this hour.
Shabbat midrash will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.
We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

The Stones Cry Out Are Free
The Stones Cry Out Part 1 & Part 2
Do you want to know how to prove the Zadok Calendar, the Enoch Calendar, and the Book of Jubilee Calendar false?
Do you want to know how the calendar issue became so confusing?
I go this awesome endorsement and I want to share it here now. with you.
In The Stones Cry Out, I walk you through the history of each change and why those changes came about, starting with the Maccabean days. Yes, it all began around 164 B.C. When Yehshua was here, he was dealing with two schools of thought. The Sadducees were all but wiped out when the Temple fell in 70 C.E. This left only the Pharisees, who began to be persecuted after the failure of the Bar Kochbah Revolt in 134 C.E.
The truth began to become out of focus around 160 C.E. when Rabbi Jose wrote the Seder Olam. This work originally was written to proof Simon Bar Kochbah was the Messiah. When that did not pan out the history was later revived and then redacted as the truth into the Mishneh Torah by Rabbi Judah ha Nasi in 180 C.E. After this the Jerusalem Talmud begins to debate these issues. It was then during this time as the Jerusalem Talmudist are forced to flee and the Babylonian Talmudist continue to grow until the 6th century that Hillel came up with a solution to help them keep the Holy Days at the proper time while they were out of the land of Israel. He did this in 358 C.E. This work was then modified and adjusted over the next 800 years with additions added and other rejected. Until it was finally redacted once again in 1177 by Rambam. And with that we now have the modern Hillel calendar which includes the errors passed on during each redaction. These errors included the time of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years.
Once the Temple was destroyed in 70 C.E., the Jews recorded time by counting from the time It was destroyed. This is why the 40 tombstones of Zoar, which record this information, are crucial to understand.
When you understand why the Postponement rules were first created so that the crescent moon would not be seen in another part of the world before it was seen in Israel then you can understand how they were still trying to follow the crescent moon to begin the month. The Tombstones show us this exact thing. The tombstones also show us when the Jews changed from a crescent moon to a Conjunction moon to begin the month. They also show us when the Jews changed the year from the month of Aviv to the Tishri to begin the year.
I really want you to understand these things so you know why you do what you do as far as following a calendar to keep Yehovah’s moedim.

I would like to add this recent comment to encourage you all to get this book and learn these truths. And the Book is FREE. You have no reason not to get it.
Most people assume that Hillel created the calendar in 358 C.E. They then assume that because it was a Sanhedrin, they are not allowed to change in order to obey Yehovah. The Hillel calendar has been changed many times since 358 C.E. up until 1177 C.E. Few people talk about these changes but we do in our latest Book The Stones Cry Out Part 1 which is free on our website. The Hillel calendar was changed on many occasions and many sought to make other changes during this time. They never needed a Bet Din to approve those changes. They just did them. So this excuse that we do not have the right to obey Yehovah because the Bet Din has not approved it is a crock of crap.
You have the obligation to obey Yehovah. You have the duty to prove which calendar you are to go by. You must prove it beyond all doubt. Yehshua never followed the Hillel calendar. Nor did any of the Apostles.
The reason no man can know the day or the hour is because it refers to a crescent moon to begin the 7th month. That is the day He was born on and the day He comes to judge on. At a day and hour no one can know. Using the Hillel calendar predicts Yom Teruah years in advance so every one knows when to keep it. But even in the Hillel calendar they keep two days of Yom Teruah reckoning back to the sighted moon. Also in the postponement rules developed long after Hillel, they again state that if the conjunction is at a certain time then the day begins at such and such, in order that the moon will not be seen in another part of the world before it is seen in Israel. That was rule number 2.
Everyone has to choose. You have the right to be wrong. But if you choose to be wrong then you also must live with the consequences that come with sin. And that is the death penalty for not keeping the Holy Days, these Sabbath at the proper time. It is your choice.
Just because you write in to me to justify your position does mean it is right. It just means your sounding off.
Allow me to share this endorsement of our latest book again. If you have read our books, please share your thoughts about them with us in the comments below or email me.
And yes, many observe the Equinox. There are many who are deceived, improperly educated. And this is why Joe puts out a newsletter every week, why he writes books, why the SightedMoon Zoom Shabbat service started, why he travels to places like England and the Philippines to share this message and why were are going to the NRB in February. The calendar is always a divisive issue in social circles because the details are many, that’s why there are so many books Joe has written. I’m not looking to put Joe on a pedestal here. This is not about Joe worship. But Joe has tenaciously studied out the calendar from every angle, not to prove himself right, to to seek to find and share what Yehovah is telling us about His Calendar.
In The Stones Cry Out, Joe has shared the history of all the different groups within Israel, and the beliefs they had about the scriptures and the feast days and the calendar. When you line it all up, you can see for yourself the how and why these misunderstandings and arguments about how and where and why they came about.
This is my new favourite book and I’m only 60-70 pages in. And I encourage you to read the footnotes in this one. Sometimes there’s more footnote on the page than Joe’s words.
Sombra Wilson
When I wrote Stones Cry Out, I wanted it to be one of our FREE books so everyone would have it. It is more of an encyclopedia than a book to read. It will be your quick resource book; you will have access to every question about any calendar, how it got started, and who started it. You will also learn the history of how the Mishnah was assembled, when it was assembled and why. Then, you will learn how that information was transferred into both the Jerusalem and the Babylonian Talmud until it reached its final stage in the Mishneh Torah. Along with this progression, the calendar also progressed and changed long after 358 C.E. when Rabbi Hillel first published it. But…what was before the Hillel calendar? What does the Mishnah record about those things?
The Stones Cry Out was originally going to be one book explaining all the various proofs we have discovered, demonstrating when the Sabbatical and Jubilee years are throughout history.
You can know; it is not a mystery.
As I began to write The Stones Cry Out, I quickly found myself going back, time and time again, to explain how the calendar is behind the confusion of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. The Rabbis, as they began to write the Mishnah, incorporated wrong understandings, and those errors were written into what became known as the Talmud and then the Mishneh Torah. The expulsion from the land and subsequent persecutions in trying to send out messengers to report the barley being found or the crescent moon being seen, proved to be more and more dangerous over time. All of these things took place over 14 centuries.
Then as I was working on The Stones Cry Out, I discovered that many people were now accepting the Zadok calendar as factual. This is when we pivoted to include all the details of the various calendars that have crept back into public knowledge today and are being used to mislead new people who are just starting to learn about the calendar. All of this was directly connected to the period starting with the Hasmonaeans, up to the destruction of the Temple. Then, with the compiling of the Mishnah, the studies that led into the writing of the Jerusalem Talmud, then the Babylonian Talmud and finally the Mishneh Torah, each error that was added is compounded over time.
The Stones Cry Out, Part 1 explains the history of how each compilation of the Oral Torah incorporated errors, leading the followers thereof away from the actual Torah. In understanding these facts, it is then possible to understand more readily how the Sabbatical and Jubilee years were then mixed and later changed. By explaining all this history, I will be able to help you the reader understand the tombstones when most authorities do not. They have assumed, to their error, the Hillel calendar to have always been in use since Mount Sinai. Not understanding the history of the calendars is why most authorities dismiss the tombstones as too confusing to use. Once you understand The Stones Cry Out Part 1, Part 2 will be very easy to grasp.
Daniel 7:25 tells us he will change the appointed seasons and commandments. Many assume Constantine did this when he made Sunday the Sabbath. Few have considered the calendar’s many changes and how they relate to us today. Hidden in this proverbial swamp of confusion is the truth about the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. The Sabbatical and Jubilee years reveal the truths about the calendar that have been hidden for almost 2000 years.
We are in the very last days and Yehshua warned us that during this time:
Mat 24:10 And then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets will rise and deceive many.
Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will become cold.
Mat 24:13 But he who endures to the end, the same shall be kept safe.
Paul also warned Timothy about these last days, warning that some would leave the truth and begin to follow demonic teachers:
1Ti 4:1 But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons,
Paul again warned the Thessalonians that the Great Falling away would take place in the last days. How can you fall away if you have never come to know the truth? So who is Paul talking to? Those who are called and answer that calling begin to walk this road of restoration back to Yehovah, and then at some point along that walk, they change and leave this walk following the teachings of demons to false calendar.
2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, my brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,
2Th 2:2 that you should not be soon shaken in mind or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word or letter, as through us, as if the Day of Christ is at hand.
2Th 2:3 Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition,
2Th 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself forth, that he is God.
We must endure until the end. We must not let ourselves become offended by personalities and leave the faith once given.

Cracking the Code of Christ’s Return
Counting of the Omer
Counting of the Omer
When counting the Omer, someone is surely going to ask you or say it publicly: where are we commanded to count the Omer?
When you are asked this then you will take them to Lev 23:15
“You shall count seven full weeks from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering. You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath. Then you shall present a grain offering of new grain to the Lord.
The English word sheaf is the Hebrew word Omer.
H6016 (Brown-Driver-Briggs) עמר ‛ômer
BDB Definition:
1) omer
1a) a dry measure of 1/10 ephah (about 2 litres)
2) sheaf
Here, you are told that there are two different methods of counting the 50 days. The first was to count 7 full weeks and the second was to count out the full 50 days.
Again, in Deut 16:9, you are told to COUNT. It is a commandment to count the days and/or weeks. You start from the time the sickle is first put to the Barley grain, which was done after sunset, after the weekly Saturday Sabbath. This counting began with Wave Sheaf Day. It is because of Deut 16:9 that you can not harvest before as some claim until Wave Sheaf Day or Saturday evening after sunset.
“You shall count seven weeks. Begin to count the seven weeks from the time the sickle is first put to the standing grain.
According to some the commandment ‘and you shall count for yourselves fifty days’ means to simply observe the 50th day as Shavuot while others actually declare out loud the number on each of the fifty days. A medieval Karaite Jewish practice combines two different methods of declaring the daily count. The first method is the counting of seven weeks. Each day, the number of the week and the number of the day in the week are declared. So for example, the first day is ‘first day of the first week’. The second counting method used is an overall number for each day. In this method Day one is ‘the first day’ and Day 25 is ‘the twenty-fifth day’. These two methods are used to satisfy the commandment to count seven weeks (Deuteronomy 16:9) as well as the commandment to count fifty days (Leviticus 23:16).
During each one of these days of Counting the Omer to Pentecost, Jewish tradition has developed around reading the Psalms on certain days. I find this to be very beneficial. It is customary that following the “Counting of the Omer,” one recites Psalm 67, for according to tradition, that Psalm has forty-nine words, which corresponds perfectly to the forty-nine days of the “Counting of the Omer.”
And as you meditate on and do these readings, which includes the Counting of the Omer command, keep in mind what this symbolizes. It is the counting of the Sabbatical and Jubilee Years and where we are in that cycle. We are in the thirtieth year in 2025, which corresponds to the thirtieth day of the “Counting of the Omer.”
Wave Sheaf day is so exciting to understand and amazing to believe because it forebodes when we will be changed and raised. If you want to call this the Rapture then I can except that if you are obeying Yehovah. If you’re not obeying Yehovah and you think the laws are done away with, then you will not be in this resurrection or raptured. You will be told to be gone you workers of lawlessness, I never knew you.
We will speak more about this as Pentecost draws closer. It is the Feast of Oaths, the 8th day of the Jubilee year.
When you count from the Wave offering of the barley to Pentecost, it is called the counting of the Omer. You are to count each day up to the 50th day. This Sunday, March 16, 2025, is day one. We are to count the Omer.
As I said, this is the most special time of year for me and in years past I couldn’t put my finger on exactly why, other than it had something to do with Yehshua’s resurrection and waiting in anticipation for Shavuot. While I cannot put into words how my understanding of this has grown, all I can say is that “it clicked!” and “now I get it!”, at least more than before. Understanding follows obedience. So OBEY and learn. You learn by doing as we are told in James.
James 2:18 But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder! Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God. You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. And in the same way was not also Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.

Devorah Show Barley Already swathed
Devorah Show Barley Already swathed
Watch as Devorah shows you the fields of Barley are already being cut, just as they should be had you kept the Wave Sheaf Offering in March as we did. You cannot cut the barley until you make that Wave Offering. And you are to count to Shavuot from the day you put the sycle to the grain.
Lev 23:14 And you shall eat neither bread, nor parched grain, nor green ears, until the same day, until you have brought an offering to your God. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
Deu 16:9 You shall count seven weeks to yourselves. Begin to count the seven weeks from the time you began to put the sickle to the grain.

Sevening Ourselves to Our Husband Yehovah
Sevening Ourselves to Our Husband Yehovah
Each year, when we count the Omer, we are to also keep in mind where we are in the Jubilee Cycle. On the day that corresponds with the Year in the Jubilee Cycle we make special note of it. This year, the 30th\\ day matches up with this, the 30th year in this 120th Jubilee Cycle. This year of 5861 Since the Creation of Adam, that 30th day will be on April 14, 2025.
We are counting 7 Sabbaths since the Wave Sheaf day during the days of Unleavened Bread to the Feast of Shavuot. Why do we do this? Why do we count 7 Sabbaths? Why didn’t Yehovah tell us to keep Shavuot on the 5th day of the 3rd month?
Why did Joshua have to circle Jericho 7 times? Why didn’t he do this for all the cities?
I found the following question and answer at Chabad.org
Question:
What is the reason for the bride walking around the groom seven times under the Chuppah (wedding canopy)? Is it an indication of a husband’s power over his wife?
Answer:
Quite the opposite. The bride, by circling the groom, expresses her awesome power over him.
The seven circuits are reminiscent of the biblical story of Joshua leading the Israelites into the Promised Land. They came to Jericho, a city known as the key to the land – if they could conquer it, the land would be theirs. But Jericho was protected by a big wall. There seemed to be no way in.
God commanded the Israelites to walk around the walls seven times. As soon as they did, a miracle happened – the walls came tumbling down and they were able to conquer the city.
Similarly, every man has a wall built around his heart. Men are taught to hide their feelings, to create an impression of impenetrability, to make it seem that they have it all figured out. Men create elaborate defenses to hide any sign of weakness or vulnerability, and fiercely guard their deepest secret – that inside they are sensitive and meek, simple and soft.
But a wise woman can pierce this defensive wall. If she surrounds her husband with the protective aura of her love, if she envelops him with affection, and if she makes him feel that he is the anchor, the center, the focal point of her life, then he can feel safe and comfortable. When that happens, the walls protecting his heart come tumbling down. Then she has conquered him – all of him.
Once you find a good man, encircle him with your love, and he’ll be all yours.
Even here they have recorded that the 7 times a woman encircles a man comes from the events of Jericho.
Brethren, when you read your bibles take a step back and look at things with bigger eyes.
Yehovah had redeemed Israel at Passover and paid for them with the firstborn of Egypt.
He then brought them to Mount Sinai and on Shavuot, in 1379 BC Yehovah proposed to Israel.
Exo 19:15 And he said to the people, Be ready for the third day. Do not approach a woman. 16 And it happened on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mountain. And the voice of the trumpet was exceedingly loud, so that all the people in the camp trembled. 17 And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God. And they stood at the lower part of the mountain. 18 And Mount Sinai was smoking, all of it, because Jehovah came down upon it in fire. And the smoke of it went up like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. 19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and became very strong, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice. 20 And Jehovah came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And Jehovah called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.
Ex 20:18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. And when the people saw, they trembled, and stood afar off. 19 And they said to Moses, You speak with us, and we will hear. But let not God speak with us, lest we die. 20 And Moses said to the people, Do not fear, for God has come to test you, and so that His fear may be before your faces, so that you may not sin. 21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was. 22 And Jehovah said to Moses, So you shall say to the sons of Israel, You have seen that I have talked with you from the heavens.
Over two million people heard Yehovah state the 10 Commandments with His own voice. It is always good to go over what Yehovah actually spoke at this time of year.
Exo 20:1 And God spoke all these words, saying,
Exo 20:2 I am Jehovah your God, who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Exo 20:3 You shall have no other gods before Me.
Exo 20:4 You shall not make to yourselves any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them. For I Jehovah your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons to the third and fourth generation of those that hate me,6 and showing mercy to thousands of those that love Me and keep My commandments.Exo 20:7 You shall not take the name of Jehovah your God in vain. For Jehovah will not hold him guiltless that takes His name in vain.
Exo 20:8 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work. 10 But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Jehovah your God. You shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger within your gates. 11 For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and sanctified it.
Exo 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long upon the land which Jehovah your God gives you.
Exo 20:13 You shall not kill.
Exo 20:14 You shall not commit adultery.
Exo 20:15 You shall not steal.
Exo 20:16 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Exo 20:17 You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.
Two weeks ago we explained how the last 5 commandments are the same as leprosy. Israel agreed to these commandments of Yehovah and said that they would obey.
1st time
Exo 19:5 And now if you will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to Me above all the nations; for all the earth is Mine. 6 And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak to the sons of Israel. 7 And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which Jehovah commanded him. 8 And all the people answered together and said, All that Jehovah has spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people to Jehovah. 9 And Jehovah said to Moses, Lo, I come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever. And Moses told the words of the people to Jehovah.
2nd Time
Exo 24:1 And He said to Moses, Come up to Jehovah, you and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel. And bow yourselves afar off. 2 And Moses alone shall come near Jehovah, but they shall not come near. Neither shall the people go up with him. 3 And Moses came and told the people all the Words of Jehovah, and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said, All the words which Jehovah has said, we will do.
3rd Time
Exo 24:3 And Moses came and told the people all the Words of Jehovah, and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said, All the words which Jehovah has said, we will do. 4 And Moses wrote all the Words of Jehovah, and rose up early in the morning, and built an altar below the mountain and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel. 5 And he sent young men of the sons of Israel who offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of bulls to Jehovah. 6 And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. 7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the ears of the people. And they said, All that Jehovah has said we will do, and be obedient. 8 And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which Jehovah has made with you concerning all these words. 9 And Moses went up, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel. 10 And they saw the God of Israel. And there wasunder His feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as the essence of the heavens for clearness. 11 And upon the nobles of the sons of Israel He did not lay his hands. Also they saw God, and ate and drank. 12 And Jehovah said to Moses, Come up to Me in the mountain, and be there. And I will give you tablets of stone, and the Law, and commandments which I have written, so that you may teach them. 13 And Moses rose up, and his attendant Joshua. And Moses went up into the mountain of God. 14 And he said to the elders, You stay here for us until we come again to you. And behold, Aaron and Hur are with you. If any man has any matters to do, let him come to them. 15 And Moses went up into the mountain, and a cloud covered the mountain. 16 And the glory of Jehovah abode upon Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17 And the sight of the glory of Jehovah was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the sons of Israel. 18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and went up into the mountain. And Moses was in the mountain forty days and forty nights.
We gave our word. We made an Oath that we would obey. When we seven ourselves, we are in fact oathing ourselves once again. By counting the 7 Sabbaths of Shavuot we oath ourselves to Yehovah. By counting the 7 days of the week to the Sabbath we again oath ourselves. By counting the 7 years of the Shmitah cycle and also of the Jubilee cycle we again oath ourselves to Yehovah. By counting and keeping the 7 annual Feasts each year we are oathing ourselves to Yehovah each year.
Let me interject the prophecy of Daniel 9:24 right here.
Seventy Weeks are decreed for you people. Daniel 9:24
SeventyH7657 weeksH7620
These are two very interesting words. In Hebrew, they are the same word repeated, but they have different vowel pointing, so they are pronounced differently.
שׁבעים shib‛ı̂ym שְׁבֻעָה שָׁבֻעַ שָׁבוּעַ shâbûa‛ shâbûa‛ shebû‛âh
H7657 myubc shib’iym shib-eem’
Multiple of H7651; seventy: – seventy, threescore and ten (+ -teen).H7651 ubc sheba? hubc shib?a?h
sheh’-bah, shib-aw’
From H7650; a primitive cardinal number; seven (as the sacred full one); also (adverbially) seven times; by implication a week; by extension an indefinite number: – (+ by) seven ([-fold], -s, [-teen, -teenth], -th, times). Compare H7658.H7658 hnubc shib?a?na?h shib-aw-naw’
Prolonged for the masculine of H7651; seven: – seven.
Take very special note of this next words 7650. Shaba to be complete to seven oneself just as we noted above by the woman going around her husband seven times or;
the 7th Day Sabbath where the earth rotates 7 times in one week;
or the 7 annual Feast in each year.
The 7 Days of Unleavened Bread and
the 7 Days of Sukkot.
The seven years for each Shemitah of the Sabbatical year cycle.
The 7 weeks of the Feast of Shavuot and
the 7 Sabbatical cycles to make one Jubilee cycle.
In total there are 7 events listed Holy Day events here that the woman emulates. The Man completes the woman. Yehovah completes us by us doing these sevening of oaths.
H7650 ubc shaba shaw-bah’
A primitive root; properly to be complete, but used only as a denominative from H7651; to seven oneself, that is, swear (as if by repeating a declaration seven times): – adjure, charge (by an oath, with an oath), feed to the full [by mistake for H7646], take an oath, X straitly, (cause to, make to) swear.
All of these 7’s do, in fact, declare that you are making a solemn oath.
H7646 ubc s?a?ba? s?a?be?a? saw-bah’, saw-bay’-ah
A primitive root; to sate, that is, fill to satisfaction (literally or figuratively): – have enough, fill (full, self, with), be (to the) full (of), have plenty of, be satiate, satisfy (with), suffice, be weary of.
H7658 hnubc shib?a?na?h shib-aw-naw’
Prolonged for the masculine of H7651; seven: – seven.H7657 myubc shib???ym shib-eem’
Multiple of H7651; seventy: – seventy, threescore and ten (+ -teen).
So the First word is Seventy.
The second word is Sha bua.
H7620 myubc sha?bu?a? uwbcsha?bu?a? hubc shebu??a?h
shaw-boo’-ah, shaw-boo’-ah, sheb-oo-aw’
Properly passive participle of H7650 as a denominative of H7651; literally sevened, that is, a week (specifically of years): – seven, week.
Now notice the word for Shavuot. twuwbc . The word Shavuot is from the word Shavu. The V and the B are interchangable. It is the same as Aviv and Abib. Shavuot is the plural of Shavu which is the word for week. Again our two words were SeventyH7657 weeksH7620. Our word H7620 is from the word 7650 Shaba.H7650 ubc sha?ba? shaw-bah’
So these very two words that begin the Prophecy of Daniel are saying Seventy Shavuot are for your people Daniel. 70 Feast of Weeks, 70 Feast of Oaths. 70 Sevening of your people. 70 Jubilee Cycles are given to your people so they can prepare for the wedding.
Exodus 34:22 You shall observe the Feast of Weeks,
70 X 49 is 3430 years that are decreed for us to learn how to get it right and then the time runs outs. That is how long the bride of Yehovah has to get herself ready.
Yehovah, when He swore by His own name in Gen 22:16, the word swore is H7650, Shabah to seven oneself. Yehovah sevened Himself to Abraham.
And the angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time from heaven and said, “By myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore.
And now you should know why Abraham sacrificed seven ewes between him and Pharaoh over the wells. That place today is known as Beer Sheba. Sheba being taken from one of the forms of the word we have quoted above.
Listen to Nehemia talk about the Oath and Shavua and Shavuot.
Once a Marriage Ketuvah or contract or covenant is made then the Groom goes away and prepares His house for the bride. Our Groom was and is Yehovah.
He had prepared our place and was bringing us to it. A land flowing with Milk and Honey.
Eze 20:4 Will you judge them, son of man, will you judge them? Cause them to know the abominations of their fathers. 5 And say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: In the day that I chose Israel, and lifted up My hand to the seed of the house of Jacob, and made Myself known to them in the land of Egypt; when I lifted up My hand to them, saying, I am Jehovah your God; 6 in the day that I lifted up My hand to them, to bring them out from the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands; 7 then I said to them, Let each man throw away the abominations of his eyes, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am Jehovah your God. 8 But they rebelled against Me and would not listen to Me. They did not each man throw away the abominations of their eyes, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt. And I said, I will pour out My fury against them to fulfill My anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt. 9 But I worked for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned before the nations among whom they were, for I made Myself known to them in their eyes, by bringing them out of the land of Egypt.
In Numbers, we read that the spies went to the land two years after they left Egypt and reported that it was filled with milk and honey.
Num 13:23 And they came to the valley of Eshcol and cut from there a branch with one cluster of grapes. And they carried it between two men upon a staff, and some of the pomegranates and of the figs. 24 The place was called the valley of Eshcol because of the cluster of grapes which the sons of Israel cut down from there. 25 And they returned from spying out the land after forty days. 26 And they left and came to Moses and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, to the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh. And they brought back word to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land. 27 And they told him and said, We came to the land where you sent us, and surely it flows with milk and honey. And this is the fruit of it.
Yehovah, our Groom, had prepared this land for us, and it was flowing with milk and honey. But just as we were about to cross that threshold into the Land, we rebelled and would not go for fear of the giants. And for that, we had to wait another 40 years. Only then did Joshua and the Children of Israel cross the Jordan River, the threshold of the Promised Land. They were now in the Beit, the house of Yehovah.
At this time, we see Israel circle around Jericho seven times. As already mentioned, this is Israel circling her Groom seven times in silence. Once they did this, Yehovah gave them the land, symbolic of the walls of Jericho falling down before them.
Yes, we were married to Yehovah. He wanted to give us the world, but…we rebelled as you all know. And then Yehovah gave us, the Northern Ten Tribes of Israel a Bill of Divorce. He did not give one to Judah, but He did give one to us. You cannot give a bill of divorce if you’re not married.
Isa 50:1 So says Jehovah, Where is your mother’s bill of divorce, whom I have put away? Or to which of My creditors have I sold you? Behold, you were sold for your iniquities, and your mother is put away for your sins.
Jer 3:8 And I saw, when for all the causes for which backsliding Israel committed adultery, I sent her away and gave a bill of divorce to her, yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but she went and whored, she also.
We are then sent into captivity and dispersed throughout the world. This is the same story told in the book of Hosea. But Yehovah tells us something in Jeremiah.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will cut a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah, 32 not according to the covenant that I cut with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which covenant of Mine they broke, although I was a husband to them, says Jehovah; 33 but this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Israel: After those days, says Jehovah, I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 And they shall no more teach each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah; for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says Jehovah. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sins no more.
Yehovah was and is our Husband. There is hope for us after all. Yehovah wants us to come back. This then is shown to us in the book of Acts. The giving of the Holy Spirit also took place on the Feast of Shavuot.
Act 2:1 And in the fulfilling of the day of Pentecost, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly a sound came out of the heaven as borne along by the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And tongues as of fire appeared to them, being distributed; and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And dwelling at Jerusalem there were Jews, devout men out of every nation under heaven. 6 But this sound occurring, the multitude came together and were confounded, because they each heard them speaking in his own dialect. 7 And they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, Behold, are not these who speak all Galileans? 8 And how do we each hear in our own dialect in which we were born? 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya around Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabians, we hear them speaking the great things of God in our own languages. 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying to one another, What does this mean?
The Holy Spirit and the Ten Commandments are the very character of Yehovah. It is who He is. It is who we must become.
Joh 14:15 If you love Me, keep My commandments.
The very same Commandments spoken by Yehovah at Mount Sinai.
Joh 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him. 22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, Lord, how is it that You will reveal Yourself to us and not to the world? 23 Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves Me, he will keep My Word. And My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My Words, and the Word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.
1Jn 2:3 And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, I have known Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His Word, truly in this one the love of God is perfected. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk even as He walked.
In these last days, we are once again seeing the Holy Spirit pouring out on all flesh. So many have been called in these last ten years, all of them coming to seek the love of Yehovah, as John has stated. We show Yehovah our love by keeping and obeying the commandments of Mount Sinai, our Ketubah, which we must keep if we are going to have any hope of crossing that threshold into the land of Milk and Honey.
Joe 2:25 And I will restore to you the years which the swarming locust has eaten, the locust larvae, and the stripping locust, and the cutting locust, My great army which I sent among you. 26 And you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of Jehovah your God, who has dealt with you wonderfully; and My people shall never be ashamed. 27 And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Jehovah your God, and no one else; and My people shall never be ashamed. 28 And it shall be afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; your old men shall dream dreams; your young men shall see visions. 29 And also I will pour out My Spirit on the slaves and on the slave women in those days.
Each year as we walk once again this path of Righteousness as Psalm 23:3 says, as we keep this Feast of Shavuot at the proper time of our wedding renewal and we once again go over the covenant we agreed to keep, we rewrite it on our hearts, as we want to obey and we strive to do all He has commanded us.
Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God, and keep His commandments. For this is the whole duty of man.
And yet some of you will still object to all of this saying, you do not have to keep the Sabbath or the Holy Days or the Sabbatical years.
Yet we are told in Deuteronomy that we must keep these things in the land of our diaspora when it will not be as easy as it would have been had we done in the land of milk and honey. We must keep them where ever we are in order to be brought back now to the land of Milk and Honey. Read it for yourself.
Deu 30:1 And it shall be when all these things have come on you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and when you shall call them to mind among all the nations where Jehovah your God has driven you, 2 and shall return to Jehovah your God and shall obey His voice according to all that I command you today, you and your sons, with all your heart, and with all your soul, 3 then Jehovah your God will turn your captivity. And He will have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the nations where Jehovah your God has scattered you. 4 If you are driven out into the outermost parts of the heavens, Jehovah your God will gather you from there, and He will bring you from there. 5 And Jehovah your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. And He will do you good, and multiply you above your fathers. 6 And Jehovah your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed, to love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live.
And still, some will maintain that these laws are just for the Jews. This is entirely false. These laws were given to Adam and then to Noah. Noah was righteous and the only way you can be righteous is if you’re obeying the commandments. But look at what Isaiah says about the whole earth. Look at what happens to all those on the earth who are not Jews and how they too are being destroyed. Look at the reason they are destroyed.
Isaiah 24:1 Behold, the Lord will empty the earth and make it desolate,
and he will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants.
And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest;
as with the slave, so with his master;
as with the maid, so with her mistress;
as with the buyer, so with the seller;
as with the lender, so with the borrower;
as with the creditor, so with the debtor.
The earth shall be utterly empty and utterly plundered;
for the Lord has spoken this word.
The earth mourns and withers;
the world languishes and withers;
the highest people of the earth languish.
The earth lies defiled
under its inhabitants;
for they have transgressed the laws,
violated the statutes,
broken the everlasting covenant.
Do you want to go to the Land that Yehovah has prepared for you? Then you must obey. Since we have been out of the land it has turned into a desert. But since Judah has gone back it has blossomed into a beautiful land. It will do the same for you once you return, but in order to return you must obey the agreement of the Ketubah or you will not be brought back.
Eze 20:38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels and those who sin against Me. I will bring them out from the land where they reside, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.
You are sinning when you do not keep the Seventh Day Saturday Sabbath.
You are sinning when you do not keep the Holy Days at the appointed times.
You are sinning when you refuse to keep the Sabbatical year.
The Jews have changed the Holy Days after 358 C.E. under Hillel and now keep them according to the Hebrew Calendar. They no longer keep the Sabbatical years and the few that do, keep them at the wrong time. This is why 6 Million Jews were slaughtered in WW II. If Yehovah does this to those who think they are obeying Him, what is He going to do to those of you who are not obeying Him at all? Read again Isaiah 24.
No matter who you are, Yehovah is going to remove you from your place, no matter where you live. Those who rebel and sin and will not keep the covenant will not come into the land. They will die along the way.
This Shavuot review our Ketubah. Begin to practice the laws of the Kingdom you want to be in. And thank Yehovah for not leaving us in our sins and ignorance. Shavuot or Pentecost in 2025 is Sunday May 4. https://sightedmoon.com/holy-days/
Howdy Brother Joseph: May Hashem keep you safe in your travels – Japan and later the Philippines, granting open minds and ears where you speak.
I know I’m repeating myself: Due to endless conflict and unpleasantness, we switched to the Hillel ll Calendar. In their last official act, this calendar was acknowledged by the Sanhedrin, (men of the Great Assembly in 359 CE. This original Sanhedrin soon after, disbanded in Tiberias). With it, we keep Yehovah’s Appointed Times, Feasts, Fasts and New Moons. Granted the calendar has undergone modifications and additions over time, which will be corrected when the Messiah returns, along with a new alter built and sanctified (like Hanukah) Blessings. Peter Smith
Shabbat Shalom Peter, you state this many times to justify your current position. But to assume the Hillel calendar was fixed with the last Sanhedrin in 358 is a lie you keep putting forward. You even state again in your note that there were many changes to the calendar after 358 and that is true. The Metonic Cycles were added, Moving the start of the year from Aviv to Tishri was added. Adding the Postponement rules (Which if your read them were created in order to keep the moon from being seen in another part of the world before if could be seen in Jerusalem) were all done long after Hillel had died. So there was never a sanhedrin to approve these newer changes.
To use that as an excuse is lying to yourself.
Refusing to obey Yehovah who said in, that once we began to obey Him even when we were in our captivity, then, THEN, He would gather us. He never said to wait until a group of men tell you it is OK to change back to obedience. We all must turn back of our own volition and obey.
Deu 30:1 And it shall be when all these things have come on you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and when you shall call them to mind among all the nations where Jehovah your God has driven you,
Deu 30:2 and shall return to Jehovah your God and shall obey His voice according to all that I command you today, you and your sons, with all your heart, and with all your soul,
Deu 30:3 then Jehovah your God will turn your captivity. And He will have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the nations where Jehovah your God has scattered you.
As always, we all get to choose the bed we make for ourselves. The time is almost here when our decisions will result in us and our families being protected or destroyed for not obeying. Prove all things! Then Obey no matter what.
Shabat Shalum, again you did not show where it states that we are to count 50 Amars. Yes the word sheaf is Amar but where does it say to count 50 of them?
Why do you need me to spell it out for you. Just keep reading. It is Omer not amar.
Lev 23:15 And you shall count to you from the next day after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete.
Lev 23:16 To the next day after the seventh sabbath you shall number fifty days. And you shall offer a new food offering to Jehovah.
Good Morning. Semantics seems to be getting in the way here. The Scriptures say to count days not bundles of barley. When we call it “Counting of the Omer” perhaps we need to change the “of” to “from”? Shabbat Shalom on the 28th day from the Omer.
