Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,
Shabbat Shalom to you all.
After just 12 days, the Iran-Israel war is on pause. It was not finished, and they did not stop to achieve peace. President Trump ordered them to stop after dropping his bombs to destroy the nuclear power plants. Again, my head this week has been spinning as I watch the events between Israel, Iran and the USA. Absolutely stunning. Last week, I asked you all to join me in fasting on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I began my fast last Saturday and ended it on Monday. I have again begun this week on Thursday and will continue until Sunday. We are in very scary times with Russia threatening to supply Iran with all its uranium materials, whether they have nuclear plants or not.
Judgment has begun on the world as of 2024. This week, I want to show you what it will take for 1/3 of the trees to be burned up, and we have Brian Malinowski’s teaching from last Sabbath, which many of you have requested. The New Moon to begin the 5th month was seen in Israel, and our brethren in the Philippines, who have just learned these things, are excited to teach them now. Listen to what they are saying about this.
Shalom beloved family, We are excited to share that last Shabbat (June 21), around 20 of us leaders gathered together to study the book “It Was a Riddle, Not a Command” by Brother Joseph — and we have already covered Chapters 1 to 5! What we’re doing: We’re walking through this powerful book together as part of our desire to understand the depth of YHWH’s Word, His timing, and His purpose for His people in these last days. The study is bringing clarity and refreshing truth as we explore topics that have long been misunderstood or forgotten. Who’s learning: There are around 20 leaders in the group passionate men and women hungry to dive deep into the Word and return to the roots of our faith. The atmosphere during our study was full of awe, questions, and spiritual hunger. What we’re discovering: We’ve had several powerful “aha!” moments already. Many in the group expressed that the lessons were eye-opening, especially on how prophecy and appointed times are hidden in plain sight when we understand the context. There was a deep sense that this is not just a study, but a calling to return to the heart of the Father. Why this matters: Brother Joseph’s book has become a key to unlocking things we didn’t even realize we were missing. It’s helping us see how Scripture has always been consistent from Genesis to Revelation and how YHWH’s calendar is central to understanding prophecy and our identity as His people. A heartfelt thank you to Brother Joseph for faithfully writing and sharing this message. It is planting seeds of restoration in our community, and we know that fruit will continue to grow as we keep going through the book. We are excited to continue this journey and are praying that more hearts will be awakened to the truth not just as knowledge, but as transformation. Chazak v’ematz — Be strong and courageous, Maranatha! The King is coming. With love and unity in Yeshua, DCBC Community
I want to encourage all of you to read through It Was A Riddle Not A Command as these people are. Get ready to understand the Fall Holy Days, which are now just two months away. By purchasing the book, you will support our ministry with a small royalty from each sale. With those sales, I am buying more banners for other groups around the world. Yes, the large Banners I use to teach these too. They cost me over $6000 USD. I am also purchasing advertising to put myself and our message in front of podcast influencers, helping us reach new audiences in this way. This campaign cost $ 5,000 USD for two months, and we initiated it in June. We are also signed up for the NRB in Nashville, Tennessee, in February, where we will share our message with this large group once again. This cost is expected to be around $20,000, which is more than half of what we spent this year for the NRB in Dallas, Texas. Brethren I know we are in the final 10 Years of Awe. I am going all in trying to get this message out. I am asking for your help so that we can continue to do what we are doing now and more, but I need your assistance.
I am asking those of you who are not supporters to start now by donating just $10-$20 per month. If just 1000 of you would do that each month for the next year, the difference we could make in the Philippines and elsewhere. I have already had to pass on a number of things because we did not have the funding.
All of us see the sword coming. We are all collectively the watchman spoken of in Ezekiel 33. We all have a responsibility to warn those who do not know what is coming and to wake up the sleeping 10 virgins.
Ezk 33:1 And the Word of Jehovah came to me, saying,
Ezk 33:2 Son of man, speak to the sons of your people, and say to them: When I bring the sword on it, on a land, and take one man from the people of the land, of their borders, and set him for their watchman;
Ezk 33:3 if, when he sees the sword come on the land, he blows the trumpet and warns the people,
Ezk 33:4 then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword does come and take him away, his blood shall be on his own head.
Ezk 33:5 He heard the sound of the trumpet and did not take warning. His blood shall be on himself. But he who takes warning shall deliver his soul.
Ezk 33:6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming, and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned; if the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity. But I will require his blood at the watchman’s hand.
Ezk 33:7 And you, son of man, I have set you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore you shall hear the Word from My mouth, and warn them from Me.
Ezk 33:8 When I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die; if you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked one shall die in his iniquity; but I will require his blood at your hand.
Ezk 33:9 But, if you warn the wicked of his way, to turn from it; if he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your soul.
I may be the one in front speaking and going from place to place, but this ministry is made up of those on our executive team, those who debate with me on Shabbat, those who pray for this work each day, and those who support this work financially. It takes all of us together to do this work. Not everyone can do what James does to maintain the site. That is his job.
You all can see what I am trying to do and who I am trying to reach. It is going to take funding to do some of it. It is going to take prayers to open certain doors to some other parts of this work. I do not ask for your tithes, but I do ask for your support. If those teachings you have learned here at sightedmoon.com have blessed you, then please consider supporting those who are working to help you grow spiritually.
Neh 13:10 And I saw that the portions of the Levites had not been given to them; for the Levites and the singers, who did the work, had fled each one to his field.
Neh 13:11 And I contended with the rulers and said, Why is the house of God forsaken? And I gathered them together and set them in their place.
Neh 13:12 And all Judah brought the tithe of the grain and the new wine and the oil into the treasuries.
Neh 13:13 And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah. And next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah. For they were counted faithful, and their office was to distribute to their brothers.
Neh 13:14 Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and do not wipe out my good deeds which I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices of it.
I pray Yehovah, you will not blot out our work. I pray Yehovah will cause it to be shared now in these last days and through the 7th millennium to teach people about the Jubilee cycles and how this understanding helps them to know prophecy both now and again at the end of the 7th millennium. I pray Father Yehovah that you will rain down a blessing on each and every person supporting this work at this time. Protect them and their families from the sword that is coming. I pray, Father, you will weigh heavily on those who do not or will not support this work in any way. I pray, Father, for your help in my old age, to strengthen me and give me great health to do all that must be done in waking up both the foolish and the wise. Help us to get this work done. Find us all busy at our stations and not asleep as some, which you, as that Thief in the Night, will now find. Please, Father, bless us as we do this work.
Torah Portion
Torah Portions
We read through the entire Torah along with the Prophets and the New Testament, once over the course of 3 1/2 years. Or according to the Sabbatical Cycle which means we read it all twice over a 7-year period. This allows us to cover more in-depth rather than being rushed to cover as much as is covered on an annual basis. We allow all to comment and take part in the discussions.
Septennial Torah Portion
If you go to Torah Portion in our archived section, you can then go to the 1st year, which is the 1st year of the Sabbatical Cycle, the one we are in now, as we state at the top of every Newsletter. There, you can scroll down to the proper date and see that this Shabbat, we could very well be midrashing about:
Exodus 26
Isaiah 40-42
Psalm 146
John 14-15
We are in the 1st Sabbatical Cycle in 2024-2025. We go through the entire bible twice in a 7 year cycle. This means we cover the entire bible once every 3 1/2 years. It gives us more time to debate and discuss each portion we read.
If you missed last week’s exciting discoveries as we studied that section, you can go and watch past Shabbats on our media section.

Join Our Sabbath Meetings
There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.
What are we doing and why do we teach this way?
We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.
The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.
Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and you and I are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.
Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.
Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.
We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.
We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s, Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.
Jas 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.
We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.
We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.
Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers, songs and teaching from this hour.
Shabbat midrash will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.
We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033
It Was A Riddle Not A Command
It Was A Riddle Not A Command
You Can Learn the Secret Meaning of:
No One Knows the Day of the Hour
Why does no One Know When Jesus was born?
When Does the Thief in the Night Come?
Why Are the Foolish Virgins Rejected?
No One Knows The Day or The Hour is a Hebrew idiom or parable.
Jesus spoke in parables to conceal His message which He later explained to the Apostles.
No One Knows The Day or the Hour is telling you the very day He will come back on!
The exact opposite to what you thought it said!
This is the very same day when He first came.
The Book of Revelation Tells you the very day and hour He was born.
You are given clues in Revelation about the thief that comes in the night, about being caught naked and ashamed. All of these clues tell you about the very day He is coming back.
Paul wrote to the Thessalonians telling them they had no need to write them about the Day of the Lord
FOR THEY KNEW FULL WELL THE MOEDIM!!!
Knowing the Moedim shows you the Day and Hour No Man Can Know.
We are also told about the Two Witnesses in the Book of Revelation…
What revelations do the Two Witnesses show you about the birth of Jesus?
There was a heavenly Host praising God when Jesus was born.
This, too, tells you the Day He was born.
Are you aware that the 5 Foolish Virgins did not understand what the Thief in the Night was?
Do You?
All these questions and so much more are explained in detail.
It was a Riddle for us to figure out.
It was not a command that we could not know.
We can KNOW.
YOU Can Know!
Thoroughly researched and profoundly significant!
5.0 out of 5 stars
There just isn’t a better book on Christian prophecy than this! What an eye opener!
Of the many books and articles that I have read on prophecy in my personal search for truth, this is the only one that does not rely on old ideas that were developed hundreds of years ago when knowledge was minimal. So much more has been learned through historical and archeological research. The world has changed so much that before now no one could have clearly envisioned how prophecy might play out.
I think the average Christian doesn’t realize that recent developments in technology and huge increases in knowledge offer us a unique opportunity to raise the veil so that we might see clearly what was once hidden behind a dark glass.
After learning about these things and seriously considering the Bible, with a willingness to set aside my traditional beliefs about prophecy, I have come to the conclusion that this book is inspired by God. Mr. Dumond presents compelling information that overturns long held assumptions and unverified beliefs making the entire body of prophetic knowledge fully accessible. As a matter of fact I think that just about anyone with no previous knowledge of the Bible would understand things that scholars have devoted their lives to explaining.
I would like everyone to know what is being shown in the pages of this book. No serious truth seeker should pass up the opportunity to have their eyes opened through its revelations. I believe it is the most important book ever written,- next to the Bible itself.
Thank you Joseph Dumond.

The Stones Cry Out Part 1 & Part 2
The Stones Cry Out Part 1 & Part 2
Do you want to know how to prove the Zadok Calendar, the Enoch Calendar, and the Book of Jubilee Calendar false?
Do you want to know how the calendar issue became so confusing?
I go this awesome endorsement and I want to share it here now. with you.
In The Stones Cry Out, I walk you through the history of each change and why those changes came about, starting with the Maccabean days. Yes, it all began around 164 B.C. When Yehshua was here, he was dealing with two schools of thought. The Sadducees were all but wiped out when the Temple fell in 70 C.E. This left only the Pharisees, who began to be persecuted after the failure of the Bar Kochbah Revolt in 134 C.E.
The truth began to become out of focus around 160 C.E. when Rabbi Jose wrote the Seder Olam. This work originally was written to proof Simon Bar Kochbah was the Messiah. When that did not pan out the history was later revived and then redacted as the truth into the Mishneh Torah by Rabbi Judah ha Nasi in 180 C.E. After this the Jerusalem Talmud begins to debate these issues. It was then during this time as the Jerusalem Talmudist are forced to flee and the Babylonian Talmudist continue to grow until the 6th century that Hillel came up with a solution to help them keep the Holy Days at the proper time while they were out of the land of Israel. He did this in 358 C.E. This work was then modified and adjusted over the next 800 years with additions added and other rejected. Until it was finally redacted once again in 1177 by Rambam. And with that we now have the modern Hillel calendar which includes the errors passed on during each redaction. These errors included the time of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years.
Once the Temple was destroyed in 70 C.E., the Jews recorded time by counting from the time It was destroyed. This is why the 40 tombstones of Zoar, which record this information, are crucial to understand.
When you understand why the Postponement rules were first created so that the crescent moon would not be seen in another part of the world before it was seen in Israel then you can understand how they were still trying to follow the crescent moon to begin the month. The Tombstones show us this exact thing. The tombstones also show us when the Jews changed from a crescent moon to a Conjunction moon to begin the month. They also show us when the Jews changed the year from the month of Aviv to the Tishri to begin the year.
I really want you to understand these things so you know why you do what you do as far as following a calendar to keep Yehovah’s moedim.

I would like to add this recent comment to encourage you all to get this book and learn these truths. And the Book is FREE. You have no reason not to get it.
Most people assume that Hillel created the calendar in 358 C.E. They then assume that because it was a Sanhedrin, they are not allowed to change in order to obey Yehovah. The Hillel calendar has been changed many times since 358 C.E. up until 1177 C.E. Few people talk about these changes but we do in our latest Book The Stones Cry Out Part 1 which is free on our website. The Hillel calendar was changed on many occasions and many sought to make other changes during this time. They never needed a Bet Din to approve those changes. They just did them. So this excuse that we do not have the right to obey Yehovah because the Bet Din has not approved it is a crock of crap.
You have the obligation to obey Yehovah. You have the duty to prove which calendar you are to go by. You must prove it beyond all doubt. Yehshua never followed the Hillel calendar. Nor did any of the Apostles.
The reason no man can know the day or the hour is because it refers to a crescent moon to begin the 7th month. That is the day He was born on and the day He comes to judge on. At a day and hour no one can know. Using the Hillel calendar predicts Yom Teruah years in advance so every one knows when to keep it. But even in the Hillel calendar they keep two days of Yom Teruah reckoning back to the sighted moon. Also in the postponement rules developed long after Hillel, they again state that if the conjunction is at a certain time then the day begins at such and such, in order that the moon will not be seen in another part of the world before it is seen in Israel. That was rule number 2.
Everyone has to choose. You have the right to be wrong. But if you choose to be wrong then you also must live with the consequences that come with sin. And that is the death penalty for not keeping the Holy Days, these Sabbath at the proper time. It is your choice.
Just because you write in to me to justify your position does mean it is right. It just means your sounding off.
Allow me to share this endorsement of our latest book again. If you have read our books, please share your thoughts about them with us in the comments below or email me.
And yes, many observe the Equinox. There are many who are deceived, improperly educated. And this is why Joe puts out a newsletter every week, why he writes books, why the SightedMoon Zoom Shabbat service started, why he travels to places like England and the Philippines to share this message and why were are going to the NRB in February. The calendar is always a divisive issue in social circles because the details are many, that’s why there are so many books Joe has written. I’m not looking to put Joe on a pedestal here. This is not about Joe worship. But Joe has tenaciously studied out the calendar from every angle, not to prove himself right, to to seek to find and share what Yehovah is telling us about His Calendar.
In The Stones Cry Out, Joe has shared the history of all the different groups within Israel, and the beliefs they had about the scriptures and the feast days and the calendar. When you line it all up, you can see for yourself the how and why these misunderstandings and arguments about how and where and why they came about.
This is my new favourite book and I’m only 60-70 pages in. And I encourage you to read the footnotes in this one. Sometimes there’s more footnote on the page than Joe’s words.

When I wrote Stones Cry Out, I wanted it to be one of our FREE books so everyone would have it. It is more of an encyclopedia than a book to read. It will be your quick resource book; you will have access to every question about any calendar, how it got started, and who started it. You will also learn the history of how the Mishnah was assembled, when it was assembled and why. Then, you will learn how that information was transferred into both the Jerusalem and the Babylonian Talmud until it reached its final stage in the Mishneh Torah. Along with this progression, the calendar also progressed and changed long after 358 C.E. when Rabbi Hillel first published it. But…what was before the Hillel calendar? What does the Mishnah record about those things?
The Stones Cry Out was originally going to be one book explaining all the various proofs we have discovered, demonstrating when the Sabbatical and Jubilee years are throughout history.
You can know; it is not a mystery.
As I began to write The Stones Cry Out, I quickly found myself going back, time and time again, to explain how the calendar is behind the confusion of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. The Rabbis, as they began to write the Mishnah, incorporated wrong understandings, and those errors were written into what became known as the Talmud and then the Mishneh Torah. The expulsion from the land and subsequent persecutions in trying to send out messengers to report the barley being found or the crescent moon being seen, proved to be more and more dangerous over time. All of these things took place over 14 centuries.
Then as I was working on The Stones Cry Out, I discovered that many people were now accepting the Zadok calendar as factual. This is when we pivoted to include all the details of the various calendars that have crept back into public knowledge today and are being used to mislead new people who are just starting to learn about the calendar. All of this was directly connected to the period starting with the Hasmonaeans, up to the destruction of the Temple. Then, with the compiling of the Mishnah, the studies that led into the writing of the Jerusalem Talmud, then the Babylonian Talmud and finally the Mishneh Torah, each error that was added is compounded over time.
The Stones Cry Out, Part 1 explains the history of how each compilation of the Oral Torah incorporated errors, leading the followers thereof away from the actual Torah. In understanding these facts, it is then possible to understand more readily how the Sabbatical and Jubilee years were then mixed and later changed. By explaining all this history, I will be able to help you the reader understand the tombstones when most authorities do not. They have assumed, to their error, the Hillel calendar to have always been in use since Mount Sinai. Not understanding the history of the calendars is why most authorities dismiss the tombstones as too confusing to use. Once you understand The Stones Cry Out Part 1, Part 2 will be very easy to grasp.
Daniel 7:25 tells us he will change the appointed seasons and commandments. Many assume Constantine did this when he made Sunday the Sabbath. Few have considered the calendar’s many changes and how they relate to us today. Hidden in this proverbial swamp of confusion is the truth about the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. The Sabbatical and Jubilee years reveal the truths about the calendar that have been hidden for almost 2000 years.
We are in the very last days and Yehshua warned us that during this time:
Mat 24:10 And then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets will rise and deceive many.
Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will become cold.
Mat 24:13 But he who endures to the end, the same shall be kept safe.
Paul also warned Timothy about these last days, warning that some would leave the truth and begin to follow demonic teachers:
1Ti 4:1 But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons,
Paul again warned the Thessalonians that the Great Falling away would take place in the last days. How can you fall away if you have never come to know the truth? So who is Paul talking to? Those who are called and answer that calling begin to walk this road of restoration back to Yehovah, and then at some point along that walk, they change and leave this walk following the teachings of demons to false calendar.
2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, my brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,
2Th 2:2 that you should not be soon shaken in mind or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word or letter, as through us, as if the Day of Christ is at hand.
2Th 2:3 Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition,
2Th 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself forth, that he is God.
We must endure until the end. We must not let ourselves become offended by personalities and leave the faith once given.

The New Crescent Moon of the 5th Month
The New Crescent Moon of the 5th Month
The New Moon of the 5th Month was seen Thursday evening from Israel in Jerusalem at 8:02 pm by Devorah Gordon, followed by Chaya, and Gil Ashendorf, in Katzrin (Golan Heights) at 8:06 by Ariella Casey, followed by Binjamin Casey, in Kiryat Ataat at 8:20 pm by Ephraim Amnon, Rebecca Bidderman and Yoel Halevi. The Following photo is from Yoel Halevi.
The Biblical month begins with the crescent New Moon, also called First Visible Sliver. The Hebrew word for month (Hodesh) literally means New Moon and only by extension the period between one New Moon and the next.
The Rabbanite Midrash relates that when God said to Moses “This month (HODESH) shall be for you the beginning of months” (Ex 12,2) the Almighty pointed up into the heavens at the crescent New Moon and said “When you see like this, sanctify! [=declare New Moon day]”. This Rabbinic fairy-tale highlights an important point, namely that the Bible never comes out and says we should determine the beginning of months based on the New Moon. The reason for this is that the term for “Month” (Hodesh) itself implies that the month begins with the crescent New Moon. As will be seen, this would have been obvious to any ancient Israelite present when Moses recited the prophecies of Yehovah to the Children of Israel and therefore there was no need to elucidate this concept any more than such terms as “light” or “dark”. However, due to the long exile, we have lost the use of Biblical Hebrew in day to day speech. Therefore, we will have to reconstruct the meaning of Hodesh from the usage of the word in the Biblical text using sound linguistic principles.

There can be no doubt that the biblical Holidays are dependent on the moon. The strongest proof of this is the passage in Ps 104,19 which declares:
“He created the moon for Mo’adim [appointed times]”
The Hebrew term Mo’adim [appointed times] is the same word used to describe the Biblical Holidays. Leviticus 23, which contains a catalogue of the Biblical Holidays opens with the statement: “These are the Mo’adim [appointed times] of Yehovah, holy convocations which you shall proclaim in their appointed times [Mo’adam].”. So when the Psalmist tells us that God created the moon for Mo’adim [appointed times] he means that the moon was created to determine the time of the Mo’adim of Yehovah, that is, the Biblical Holidays.
“Hodesh” Is Related To the Moon
The above verse clearly teaches us that the holidays are related to the moon. But when the Torah was given Ps 104 had not yet been written by the Levitical prophets, and the question still remains of how the ancient Israelites could have known this. The answer is that the Hebrew word for month (Hodesh) itself indicates a connection to the moon. We can see this connection in a number of instances in which Hodesh (month) is used interchangeably with the word “Yerah”, the common Biblical Hebrew word for moon, which by extension also means “month”. For example:
“…in the month (Yerah) of Bul,
which is the Eighth month (Hodesh)…” (1 Kings 6:38)“…in the month (Yerah) of Ethanim… which is the Seventh month (Hodesh)…” (1 Kings 8:2)
Another proof that Hodesh is related to the moon (Yerah) is the phrase “A Hodesh (month) of days” (Gen 29:14; Nu 11:20-21) [meaning a period of 29 or 30 days] which is equivalent to the phrase “A Yerah (month/ moon) of days” (Dt 21:13; 2 Ki 15:13). Clearly then Hodesh is related to “Yerah”, which itself literally means “moon”.
“Hodesh” Means New Moon (Day)
The primary meaning of Hodesh (month) is actually “New Moon” or “New Moon Day” and it is only by extension that it came to mean “month”, that is, the period between one New Moon and the next. This primary meaning is preserved in a number of passages such as 1Sam 20:5 in which Jonathan says to David “Tomorrow is the New Moon (Hodesh)”. Clearly, in this verse Hodesh is used to refer to the specific day on which the month begins and not the entire month. Another passage which uses Hodesh in its primary sense is Ez 46:1 which talks about “The Day (Yom) of the New Moon (Ha-Hodesh)”. Clearly in this verse Hodesh (New Moon) is a specific event and the beginning of the month is the day on which this event (New Moon) occurs.
The Biblical New Moon is the “First Crescent”
“Hodesh” (New Moon), is derived from the root H.D.SH.
meaning “new” or “to make new/ renew”. The Crescent New Moon is called Hodesh because it is the first time the moon is seen anew after being concealed for several days at the end of the lunar cycle. At the end of the lunar month the moon is close to the sun 1 and eventually reaches the point of “conjunction” when it passes between the Sun and the Earth.2 As a result, around the time of conjunction very little of the moon’s illuminated surface faces the Earth and it is not visible through the infinitely brighter glare of the sun. After the moon moves past the sun it continues towards the opposite side of the Earth. As it gets farther away from the sun the percentage of its illuminated surface facing the Earth increases and one evening shortly after sunset the moon is seen anew after being invisible for 1.5-3.5 days. Because the moon is seen anew after a period of invisibility the ancients called it a “New Moon” or “Hodesh” (from Hadash meaning “new”).
Crescent New Moon vs. Astronomical New Moon
Many people have been led astray by the inaccurate use in modern languages of the term “New Moon”. Modern astronomers adopted this otherwise unused term, which had always referred to the first visible sliver, and used it to refer to conjunction (when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, at which time it is not visible). The astronomers soon realized that the inaccurate use of “New Moon” to refer to conjunction would lead to confusion so to be more accurate scientists now distinguish between “Astronomical New Moon” and “Crescent New Moon”. “Astronomical New Moon” means New Moon as the term is used by astronomers, i.e. conjunction. In contrast, “Crescent New Moon” uses the term in the original meaning of the first visible sliver. A good English dictionary should reflect both meanings. For example, the Random House Dictionary of the English Language, Unabridged Edition defines New Moon as: “The moon either when in conjunction with the sun or soon after being either invisible [Astronomical New Moon] or visible [Crescent New Moon] only as a slender crescent.” (square brackets added by NG).
The Supposed Evidence For “Concealed Moon”
Having been confused by the use of the term New Moon in modern astronomy some people have sought Biblical support for this incorrect meaning of the term. Ps 81:3 [Heb. 81:4] is usually cited which says:
“Blow on a horn for the Hodesh (New Moon)
On the Keseh (Full Moon) for the Day of our Hag (Feast).”According to the “Concealed Moon Theory”, the term “Keseh” is derived from the root K.S.Y. meaning “to cover” and thus means “covered moon” or “concealed moon”. According to this interpretation, when the verse says to blow on a horn on the day of Keseh it actually means “[blow on a horn] on the day of Concealed Moon”. However, the language does not support this argument for the second half of the verse also refers to the day of Keseh as “the day of our Feast (Hag)”. In the Bible, Feast (Hag) is a technical term which always refers to the three annual pilgrimage-feasts (Matzot, Shavuot, Sukkot; see Ex 23; Ex 34).3 New Moon Day (Hodesh) is never classified as a “Pilgrimage-Feast” so Keseh/ Hag can not possibly be synonymous with New Moon Day (Hodesh). It has further been suggested that Keseh refers to the Biblical holiday of Yom Teruah (Day of Shouting), which always falls out on New Moon Day. However, the Bible describes Yom Teruah as a Moed (appointed time) and never as a Hag (Pilgrimage-Feast) so Keseh/ Hag can not refer to Yom Teruah either.
What Does Keseh Really Mean?
It is likely that Keseh is related to the Aramaic word “Kista” and the Assyrian word “Kuseu” which mean “full moon” (see Brown-Driver-Briggs page 490b) [Hebrew, Aramaic, and Assyrian are all Semitic languages and often share common roots]. This fits in perfectly with the description of Keseh as the day of the Hag since two of the three Pilgrimage-Feasts (Hag HaMatzot and Hag HaSukkot) are on the 15th of the month, which is about the time of the Full Moon!
More on “Concealed Moon”
Another point to consider is that there is no actual “day” of concealed moon. In fact the moon stays concealed anywhere from 1.5 to 3.5 days in the Middle East. It has been proposed that the “day” of concealed moon is actually the day of conjunction (when the moon passes between the Earth and Sun). However, it was only 1000 years after Moses that the Babylonian astronomers discovered how to calculate the moment of conjunction. Therefore, the ancient Israelites would have had no way of knowing when the moment of conjunction takes place and would not have known on which day to observe “Concealed Moon Day”.
It has been suggested that the ancient Israelites could have looked at the “Old Moon” and determined the Day of Conjunction by when the Old Moon was no longer visible in the morning sky. However, such a method would not work in the Middle East where the so-called “concealed moon” can remain concealed for as many as 3.5 days! It is in fact common for the moon to stay concealed for 2.5 days and in such instances how would the ancient Israelites have known which day was the Day of Conjunction?
In contrast, the ancient Israelites would have been well aware of the Crescent New Moon. In ancient societies people worked from dawn to dusk and they would have noticed the Old Moon getting smaller and smaller in the morning sky. When the morning moon had disappeared the ancient Israelites would have anxiously awaited its reappearance 1.5-3.5 days later in the evening sky. Having disappeared for several days and then appearing anew in the early evening sky they would have called it the “New Moon” or “Hodesh” (from Hadash meaning “New”).
1/3 of the Trees
1/3 of the Trees
I asked GROK AI on X this question in order to understand how bad it would have to get in order for 1/3 of the trees to be burned up as we are told Revelations.
If we increased the wildfire each year, starting with the figures from 2023 and 2024, what would the world look like in order to reach 1.35 billion hectares of forest as mentioned in Revelation 8:7 by the year 2033? So you have just nine more years for this to take place. What would it look like each year going forward, and how much would world temperatures have to increase to facilitate this scenario?
To address your query, we need to estimate how wildfires could escalate to burn 1.35 billion hectares of forest by 2033, starting with the wildfire figures from 2023 and 2024, and explore the implications for global temperatures and the state of the world. This involves calculating the required annual increase in wildfire-related forest loss, modeling the environmental conditions necessary to support such an extreme scenario, and describing the global consequences. The scenario is speculative, as it assumes a trajectory far beyond current trends, but I’ll base it on available data and reasonable extrapolations.Step 1: Baseline Data and Target
2023–2024 Wildfire Data: From the provided information, wildfires burned approximately 11.9 million hectares in 2023 and an estimated 10–12 million hectares in 2024, totaling 21.9–23.9 million hectares over two years. For simplicity, let’s use an average of 11 million hectares per year as the starting point (slightly conservative to align with your cited 9 million hectares average but adjusted to recent data).
Target: The Book of Revelation (8:7) describes one-third of the world’s trees burning, equating to approximately 1.35 billion hectares of forest, based on a global forest area of 4.06 billion hectares.
Timeframe: From 2023 to 2033 (inclusive), we have 9 years (2025–2033) to reach the remaining 1.35 billion hectares, accounting for the 21.9–23.9 million hectares already burned in 2023–2024.Step 2: Calculating Required Annual Wildfire Loss
Total to Burn: The target is 1.35 billion hectares. Subtracting the 22.9 million hectares (average of 21.9–23.9) burned in 2023–2024, approximately 1.327 billion hectares remain to be burned by 2033. Annual Requirement: Over 9 years (2025–2033), this means an average of 1.327 billion ÷ 9 ≈ 147.4 million hectares per year. This is a dramatic increase from the 11 million hectares per year in 2023–2024, requiring a roughly 13.4-fold increase in annual wildfire-related forest loss.To model the escalation, let’s assume a linear increase in wildfire-driven forest loss starting from 11 million hectares in 2024 to reach the necessary cumulative total by 2033. Alternatively, we could assume an exponential increase, which might better reflect the feedback loops in fire-climate interactions, but for simplicity, let’s first try a linear progression and then consider exponential growth.Linear Increase Model
Starting Point (2024): 11 million hectares. End Point (2033): To meet the target, the final year (2033) would need to burn significantly more to close the gap. Let’s calculate the required annual increase:
Total needed: 1.327 billion hectares over 9 years. Using the arithmetic sequence formula for annual burning: Total = (n/2) × (first term + last term), where n = 9 years, first term = 11 million hectares, and last term = x. Average annual burn = 147.4 million hectares, so the sum of the sequence is 9 × 147.4 = 1.326 billion hectares. Let the annual increase be d. The sequence is 11, 11+d, 11+2d, …, 11+8d. Sum = (9/2) × (11 + 11 + 8d) = 4.5 × (22 + 8d) = 1,326 million hectares. Solving: 22 + 8d = 1,326 ÷ 4.5 ≈ 294.67; 8d = 272.67; d ≈ 34.08 million hectares. Thus, annual burning increases by 34.08 million hectares each year:
2025: 11 + 34.08 = 45.08 million hectares 2026: 45.08 + 34.08 = 79.16 million hectares 2027: 79.16 + 34.08 = 113.24 million hectares 2028: 113.24 + 34.08 = 147.32 million hectares 2029: 147.32 + 34.08 = 181.40 million hectares 2030: 181.40 + 34.08 = 215.48 million hectares 2031: 215.48 + 34.08 = 249.56 million hectares 2032: 249.56 + 34.08 = 283.64 million hectares 2033: 283.64 + 34.08 = 317.72 million hectares Total burned (2025–2033): Sum = (9/2) × (45.08 + 317.72) ≈ 1,632.12 million hectares, overshooting slightly due to rounding. Adjusting the final year to 147.4 million hectares ensures the total is 1.327 billion hectares.Exponential Increase ModelGiven the climate-fire feedback loop (where fires increase emissions, warming the climate and fueling more fires), an exponential model may be more realistic. Assume the annual burn rate grows by a constant percentage r each year:
Formula: Burn(t) = 11 × (1 + r)^t, where t is years from 2024. Cumulative sum from 2025 to 2033 must equal 1.327 billion hectares. Solving for r requires iterative calculation, but testing r ≈ 45% (based on trial calculations to match the total):
2025: 11 × 1.45 = 15.95 million hectares 2026: 15.95 × 1.45 = 23.13 million hectares 2027: 23.13 × 1.45 = 33.54 million hectares 2028: 33.54 × 1.45 = 48.63 million hectares 2029: 48.63 × 1.45 = 70.51 million hectares 2030: 70.51 × 1.45 = 102.24 million hectares 2031: 102.24 × 1.45 = 148.25 million hectares 2032: 148.25 × 1.45 = 214.96 million hectares 2033: 214.96 × 1.45 = 311.69 million hectares Total (approximate sum of geometric series): 11 × (1.45^1 + 1.45^2 + … + 1.45^9) ≈ 1,327 million hectares with r fine-tuned to 45.1%.The exponential model aligns better with the accelerating nature of fire-driven loss observed in 2024, where tropical forest loss doubled due to fires.
Step 3: Temperature Increase RequiredTo facilitate such an extreme increase in wildfire activity, global temperatures would need to rise significantly, exacerbating drought, heatwaves, and fire-prone conditions. Here’s how temperatures might contribute:
Current Trends: Global temperatures in 2024 were the highest on record, approximately 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels, with El Niño contributing to extreme drought and fire activity. Canada is warming at twice the global average, and boreal forests are increasingly fire-prone.
Fire-Climate Feedback: Research indicates that a 1°C increase in global temperature can increase wildfire frequency and extent by 30–60% in some regions, particularly boreal forests. To sustain a 13.4-fold increase (or 45% annual growth), temperatures would need to create consistently extreme fire weather conditions globally, especially in tropical forests, which are not naturally fire-adapted.
Temperature Estimate: To burn 147.4 million hectares annually (linear model) or reach 311.69 million hectares by 2033 (exponential model), global temperatures might need to rise to 2.5–3.5°C above pre-industrial levels by 2033. This is based on:
Studies showing a 60% increase in fire activity per 1°C warming in boreal regions.
Tropical forests becoming fire-prone due to drought and human activity, as seen in 2024 with a 5-fold increase in fire-driven loss.
A feedback loop where 4.1 gigatons of CO2 emissions from 2024 fires (4 times global aviation emissions) further accelerates warming.
Calculation: To achieve this, global emissions would need to exceed current high-emission scenarios (e.g., SSP5-8.5, projecting 2.4°C by 2050). A 2.5–3.5°C rise by 2033 implies a rapid acceleration beyond current projections, possibly requiring a 20–30% increase in annual global emissions from 2025 onward, driven by fires and reduced carbon sinks.
Step 4: What Would the World Look Like Each Year?Assuming the exponential model (more realistic due to feedback loops), the world would undergo catastrophic changes:
2025 (15.95 million hectares): Fires intensify in boreal (Canada, Russia) and tropical (Brazil, Bolivia) regions, driven by persistent drought and El Niño aftereffects. Smoke blankets major cities, causing health crises and economic disruptions.
2026–2027 (23.13–33.54 million hectares): Tropical forests, especially the Amazon, become increasingly fire-prone, with 42% of 2024’s tropical loss in Brazil escalating further. Boreal fires spread, with Canada and Russia losing 5–10 million hectares each. Air quality worsens globally, and CO2 emissions rise by 5–10 gigatons annually from fires alone.
2028–2030 (48.63–102.24 million hectares): Entire regions of the Amazon and Congo Basin face collapse, with fires spreading into protected areas and Indigenous territories. Boreal forests burn at unprecedented scales, releasing 30–40% of stored carbon. Global temperatures approach 2°C, triggering more extreme weather, including heatwaves and erratic rainfall, further drying forests.
2031–2033 (148.25–311.69 million hectares): Forests become tinderboxes globally. Tropical ecosystems like the Amazon transition to savanna-like states, losing biodiversity and carbon storage capacity. Mass migrations occur from fire-ravaged regions, and global food security is threatened as agricultural lands are scorched. Economic losses reach trillions, with insurance costs soaring (e.g., Canada’s 2024 Jasper fire cost $1.23 billion).
Step 5: Global Impacts by 2033
Environmental: Loss of 1.35 billion hectares (one-third of forests) releases ~150–200 gigatons of CO2, equivalent to 4–5 years of current global emissions, pushing temperatures toward 3°C. Carbon sinks collapse, accelerating climate change. Tropical forests cease to regulate rainfall, disrupting global weather patterns.
Social: Millions are displaced, especially Indigenous communities in fire-prone areas (80% of Canada’s Indigenous communities are in fire zones). Health impacts from smoke lead to millions of premature deaths, particularly from respiratory and cardiovascular diseases.
Economic: Global GDP declines as agriculture, water supplies, and infrastructure are devastated. Firefighting costs exceed $10 billion annually in multiple countries, straining budgets.
Biodiversity: Loss of 50% or more of forest species, with cascading effects on ecosystems. Tropical forests, home to millions of species, face irreversible damage.
Step 6: Feasibility and Caveats
Feasibility: Burning 1.35 billion hectares by 2033 is physically possible but would require unprecedented global coordination of extreme conditions: prolonged droughts, record temperatures, and human activities (e.g., agricultural burning) amplifying fires. Current trends show a 5.4% annual increase in fire-driven loss, far below the 45% needed.
Temperature Barrier: Reaching 2.5–3.5°C by 2033 is beyond current IPCC projections (2°C by 2050 under high-emission scenarios). This would require a collapse in global climate policies and massive deforestation, amplifying emissions.Limits: Forests may run out of burnable area before reaching 1.35 billion hectares, as degraded forests become less flammable. Fire suppression and conservation efforts (e.g., Indonesia’s 11% reduction in 2024) could slow the trend.
Final Answer
To burn 1.35 billion hectares by 2033, wildfires would need to increase from 11 million hectares in 2024 to ~311.69 million hectares by 2033 (exponential model, ~45% annual growth). Annual burns would escalate as follows: 15.95M (2025), 23.13M (2026), 33.54M (2027), 48.63M (2028), 70.51M (2029), 102.24M (2030), 148.25M (2031), 214.96M (2032), 311.69M (2033). Global temperatures would need to rise to 2.5–3.5°C above pre-industrial levels, driven by a fire-climate feedback loop releasing 150–200 gigatons of CO2. The world would face catastrophic forest loss, ecosystem collapse, mass displacement, and economic devastation, with tropical and boreal regions becoming unrecognizable. This scenario assumes a worst-case trajectory beyond current trends, requiring unprecedented climate and human-driven amplification of fires.

During our Midrashes each Sabbath we sometimes have Brian share a teaching about the deeper meaning of the letters in certain scriptures. Many of you have asked and we have tried to share those teachings here with our wider audience. Here is one of the teaching Brian did last week on Shabbat. We hope you can join us each Sabbath live on zoom from around the world.
Noah and The Barley
Noah and The Barley
I continue to battle those who want to stop following the Crescent Moon and Barley calendar to follow a calendar today known as the Zadok calendar. Monte Judah, Eddy Chumney and Avi Ben Mordechai are, to my knowledge, now keeping it. We have proven this teaching to be false and have it in our book The Stones Cry Out, which you can get from us for Free as a PDF or from Amazon. When you are not grounded in the truth, then you will fly to anything else as Yehovah has warned us.
2Th 2:8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming,
2Th 2:9 whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie,
2Th 2:12 so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned.
If you do not study to learn the truth, Yehovah will give you over to the lie you pursue.
Recently, I was told Noah could not know when the new year was to begin because he could not see the barley after the flood. And because of this reasoning, they now had grounds to keep the Zadok calendar. What B.S.! It goes back to what we were just told in 2 Thessalonians. Yehovah will give you even more lies and delusional thinking so that you will believe the lie. BECASUE YOU DID NOT HAVE A LOVE OF THE TRUTH TO BEGIN WITH.
Get on your knees and ask Yehovah to reveal His truth to you and lead you away from all false teachings.
Let’s examine this part about Noah and understand it.
The Question:
Where did Noah find barley after the flood, for he opened the ark on the 1st day of the 1st month in the 2nd year? How did he know how to calculate that date – being in the ark, with the earth just beginning to dry up?
The Answer:
Following the Genesis flood, as the ark rested on Mount Ararat, Noah released a raven and a dove from the ark at different times. The goal in sending these birds was to determine if the flood waters had abated enough for Noah and his family to exit the ark.
In Genesis 8:6-7 we read,
“At the end of forty days Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made and sent forth a raven. It went to and fro until the waters were dried up from the earth.”
The “40 days” here is after the tops of the mountains were visible (verse 5), over seven months after the flood began. A raven was released and apparently never returned. No reason is provided regarding why a raven was selected rather than another bird. However, a raven can eat carrion and would feed off dead animals in the water. A dove, on the other hand, would return to its point of origin if no land were found.
Noah sent a dove in Genesis 8:8-9:
“Then he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters had subsided from the face of the ground. But the dove found no place to set her foot, and she returned to him to the ark, for the waters were still on the face of the whole earth. So he put out his hand and took her and brought her into the ark with him.”
The dove returned with no indication that a place had been found to alight.
A week later, in Genesis 8:10-11, Noah sent the dove again:
“He waited another seven days, and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark. And the dove came back to him in the evening, and behold, in her mouth was a freshly plucked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the waters had subsided from the earth.”
Things had begun to grow once again; the earth was becoming more habitable.
Another week passed. Then, in Genesis 8:12, Noah sends out the dove one more time:
“Then he waited another seven days and sent forth the dove, and she did not return to him anymore.”
The dove had no need to return to the ark, since it had found a home on land. The ark could soon be emptied, and humanity could begin to establish itself again in the world.
From Genesis 7:11 to 8:14, we know that the flood lasted a total of one year and ten days. The raven and the dove were released over a period of 21 days after the mountaintops became visible (Genesis 8:10-12). The raven served as a first attempt to discover dry land, and the dove became Noah’s way of determining when to leave the ark.
If the olive trees are growing, why would the grasses not be growing as well? Notice when the dove went out.
Here again are the scriptures describing the timing:
The End of the Flood
Gen 8:3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually. And after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters had gone down.
Gen 8:4 And in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat.
Gen 8:5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month. And the tops of the mountains were seen in the tenth month on the first day of the month.
The Raven
Gen 8:6 And it happened, at the end of forty days Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made.
Gen 8:7 And he sent forth a raven, and it went out, going out and returning until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
The Dove
Gen 8:8 He also sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters had gone down from off the face of the earth.
Gen 8:9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot. And she returned to him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth. Then he put out his hand and took her, and pulled her in to him into the ark.
Gen 8:10 And he waited yet another seven days. And again he sent forth the dove out of the ark.
Gen 8:11 And the dove came in to him in the evening. And, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off. So Noah knew that the waters had gone down from off the earth.
Gen 8:12 And he waited yet another seven days, and sent forth the dove. And she did not return again to him any more.
The End of the Flood and the 2nd Month
Gen 8:13 And it happened in the six hundred and first year, at the beginning, on the first of the month, that the waters were dried up from off the earth. And Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked. And, behold, the face of the earth was dried!
Gen 8:14 And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.
How did Noah know it was the 2nd month if he had no Barley to begin the year? First of all, he was counting the days as we are told in the story. He was tracking time. He knew when the previous year began, and he was now about to begin the next one. How would he know whether or not to add an Adar Bet to his counting? You would do this if the barley were not ripe. So, how did he know if the barley was indeed ripe?
Noah was not stupid. He was on an Ark surrounded by water with no means of discovering how far advanced the flood was. The first animal he sent out was a raven, which would eat the dead animals that were floating or lying on the land that was now becoming visible. Once the raven had food, it no longer came back to the Ark.
When Noah sent out the Dove, he knew the dove does not eat meat. It only eats grains or seeds. A quick Google search to determine what types of birds eat barley and you get the following results.
Types of Birds That Can Eat Barley
- Pigeons: Pigeons are known to enjoy eating barley. It is a common food source for pigeons, particularly in urban environments where they scavenge for grains.
- Doves: Doves are another bird species that can consume barley. It is often included in birdseed mixes designed for doves and other similar birds.
- Quail: Quail also have barley as part of their diet. It is a good source of energy for these small game birds.
- Partridges: Partridges are ground-nesting birds that can benefit from consuming barley as part of their diet.
- Wild Birds: In the wild, various bird species may come across barley grains and consume them as a natural food source.
Benefits of Birds Eating Barley
-
Nutrient-Rich: Barley is a nutrient-rich grain that can provide birds with essential vitamins, minerals, and energy.
-
Energy Source: The carbohydrates in barley can serve as an energy source for birds, particularly important during colder months or breeding seasons.
-
Easy to Digest: Barley is relatively easy for birds to digest, making it a suitable food option for them.
-
Variety in Diet: Offering birds a variety of food choices, including barley, can help prevent nutrient deficiencies and keep them healthy.
Question 2:
How can barley be part of the calendar count, when in Egypt the barley and flax were smitten – gone. If the barley was so important, surely Yah could have smitten only the flax.
It is the month of Green Ears. This is what Aviv means. There was no Temple, so they did not need to present it at the Temple. Moses only had to know it was the month when the heads are all green and about to change to seed. Those people who come with me to search for the barley each year can see that the entire countryside is green with new heads of green ears of Barley and other grains bursting out. Flax, too, is busting out at this time and is green until it blooms.
Because the heads are top-heavy, when they are hit by hail, they will break and be driven into the ground, where they cannot be harvested. The wheat is not top-heavy as it has not developed enough or is still in the boot, so it survived the hail.
Question 3
Yehusha said: except a kernel of WHEAT fall into the ground … He likened Himself to “wheat” – the preferred grain, not barley – never barley.
You don’t understand the purpose of the grains. Again, you need to read The Stone Cry Out. Yehshua was the Barley. That is the first group to be raised. The next group is the wheat, which happens at the end of the 6th millennium day. Get our book The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033 to learn all about the Barley and where it is shown to you.
Question 4:
Barley was allowed in the sanctuary under only one condition, and it has nothing to do with the sacrifices, so why do so many believe that barley is part of the festivals and the waving
The First Fruits offering, done at Passover, is made from the first fruits of the land, which is barley. It is then ground into flour and has frankincense and olive oil added to it, and then a handful is thrown on the altar.
Laws for Grain Offerings
Lev 2:1 And when anyone will offer a food offering to Jehovah, his offering shall be of fine flour. And he shall pour oil on it and put frankincense on it.
Lev 2:2 And he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons, the priests. And he shall take out of it his handful of flour and its oil, with all its frankincense. And the priest shall burn the memorial of it on the altar, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Jehovah.
Lev 2:3 And the rest of the food offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’, most holy of the offerings of Jehovah made by fire.
Lev 2:4 And if you bring a sacrifice of a food offering baked in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
Lev 2:5 And if your offering is a food offering on the griddle, your offering shall be of fine flour unleavened, mixed with oil.
Lev 2:6 You shall break it in pieces and pour oil on it. It is a food offering.
Lev 2:7 And if your offering is a food offering in the frying pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
Lev 2:8 And you shall bring the food offering that is made of these things to Jehovah. And when it is presented to the priest, he shall bring it to the altar.
Lev 2:9 And the priest shall take from the food offering a memorial of it, and shall burn it on the altar. It is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Jehovah.
Lev 2:10 And that which is left of the food offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons: it is most holy of the offerings of Jehovah made by fire.
Lev 2:11 Any food offering which you shall bring to Jehovah shall not be made with leaven. For you shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of Jehovah made by fire.
Lev 2:12 As an offering of the firstfruits, you shall bring them to Jehovah. But they shall not be burned on the altar for a sweet savor.
Lev 2:13 And every sacrifice of your food offering shall you season with salt. And you shall not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your food offering. You shall offer salt with all your offerings.
Lev 2:14 And if you bring a food offering of your firstfruits to Jehovah, green ears roasted by fire, grains of a garden, you shall bring near for a food offering your firstfruits,
Lev 2:15 And you shall put oil on it and lay frankincense on it. It is a food offering.
Lev 2:16 And the priest shall burn it as incense with its memorial offering from its grains and from its oil, besides all its frankincense, a fire offering to Jehovah.
The Feast of Firstfruits
Lev 23:9 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Lev 23:10 Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap the harvest of it, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest.
Lev 23:11 And he shall wave the sheaf before Jehovah to be received for you. On the next day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
Lev 23:12 And you shall offer that day when you wave the sheaf, a male lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering to Jehovah.
Lev 23:13 And its food offering shall be two-tenths part of fine flour mixed with oil, a fire offering to Jehovah for a sweet savor. And the drink offering of it shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.
Lev 23:14 And you shall eat neither bread, nor parched grain, nor green ears, until the same day, until you have brought an offering to your God. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
That was the Feast of First Fruits which is barley. The next grain to become ripe is the wheat which is what the next feast is all about.
The Feast of Weeks
Lev 23:15 And you shall count to you from the next day after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete.
Lev 23:16 To the next day after the seventh sabbath you shall number fifty days. And you shall offer a new food offering to Jehovah.
Far too many argue for remaining where they are, ignorant of the apparent facts found in the Land of Israel. They do just enough study to hold their position and not enough to learn the whole truth. Yes, this is a sad rebuke. It is like a 2-year-old telling the parent how to drive after they have watched him once. Brethren, it is high time you were mature in the faith. If you were mature in this walk, then those false teachings would not have a place to land in your mind, and you could easily refute them.
Warning Against Apostasy
Heb 5:11 of whom we have much to say, and hard to be explained since you are dull of hearing.
Heb 5:12 For indeed because of the time, you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again what are the first principles of the oracles of God. And you have become in need of milk, and not of solid food.
Heb 5:13 For everyone partaking of milk is unskillful in the Word of Righteousness, for he is an infant.
Heb 5:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, even those who because of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
2024-Judgment Begins
In our Newsletter 5859-020, published on July 15, 2023, the year of Shmitah, I wrote the following article. At the end of this article, I share with you our video teaching on this topic, which we then explained in the Philippines this past April 2025 with our new revelation. What I did not know in 2023, I began to exclaim in 2025.
2024-Judgment Begins
Yehshua died at Passover and fulfilled every detail of the Passover sacrifice down to the minutest of details. He also died according to the Sotah woman curse of Numbers 5 again down to the very detail.
We also have the Wave Sheaf Offering being performed down to the detail with the resurrection of the dead, who came out of the grave after Yehshua was resurrected. Again another event of Lev 23 becoming reality fulfilling the prophecies they foretold.
When we look at Shavuot we see that the Law, the Torah was given on this day and then in the books of Acts the Holy Spirit was also given. Those of you who are reading our material also know that Shavuot is another Wave Offering in which the dead will be raised and those still alive will be changed in the twinkling of an eye. Shavuot has this prophecy that we all eagerly await. Some call it the rapture but they have no idea what the Holy Days mean. You do and you understand what is to take place on this day.
The Fall Holy Days also reveal to us another aspect of the plan of Yehovah, to those who obey and keep these days holy.
Yom Teruah is the Feast of Shouting.
The Feast of Trumpets
Lev 23:23 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Lev 23:24 Speak to the sons of Israel saying: In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath, a memorial summons, a holy convocation.
Lev 23:25 You shall do no work of labor but you shall offer a fire offering to Jehovah.
Numbers 29:1 And in the seventh month, on the first of the month, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no laboring work. It is a day of blowing the trumpets to you.
2 And you shall prepare a burnt offering for a sweet savor to Jehovah: one young bull, one ram, seven lambs of the first year without blemish.
3 And their food offering shall be flour mixed with oil, three tenth parts for a bull, two tenth parts for a ram,
4 and one tenth part for one lamb, for the seven lambs,
5 and one kid of the goats for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you;
6 besides the burnt offering of the month, and its food offering, and the daily burnt offering, and its food offering, and their drink offerings, according to their ordinance, for a sweet savor, a fire offering to Jehovah.
Nehemia Gordon has the following to share with us about this day.
On the 1st day of the Seventh Month (Tishrei) the Torah commands us to observe the holy day of Yom Teruah which means “Day of Shouting” (Leviticus 23:23-25; Numbers 29:1-6). Yom Teruah is a day of rest on which work is forbidden.
One of the unique things about Yom Teruah is that the Torah does not say what the purpose of this holy day is. The Torah gives at least one reason for all the other holy days and two reasons for some. The Feast of Matzot (Unleavened Bread) commemorates the Exodus from Egypt, but it is also a celebration of the beginning of the barley harvest (Exodus 23:15; Leviticus 23:4–14). The Feast of Shavuot (Weeks) is a celebration of the wheat harvest (Exodus 23:16; 34:22). Yom Ha-Kippurim is a national day of atonement as described in great detail in Leviticus 16. Finally, the Feast of Sukkot (Booths) commemorates the wandering of the Israelites in the desert and is also a celebration of the ingathering of agricultural produce (Exodus 23:16). In contrast to all these Torah festivals, Yom Teruah has no clear purpose other than that we are commended to rest on this day.
Nevertheless, the name of Yom Teruah provides a clue as to its purpose. Teruah literally means to make a loud noise. This word can describe the noise made by a trumpet but it also describes the noise made by a large gathering of people shouting in unison (Numbers 10:5–6). For example,
“And it shall come to pass when the ram’s horn makes a long blast, when you hear the sound of the shofar, the entire nation will shout a great shout, and the wall of the city shall fall in its place, and the people shall go up as one man against it.”
– Joshua 6:5
In this verse the word “shout” appears twice, once as the verb form of Teruah and a second time as the noun form of Teruah. Although this verse mentions the sound of the shofar (ram’s horn), the two instances of Teruah do not refer to the shofar. In fact, in this verse, Teruah refers to the shouting of the Israelites which was followed by the fall of the walls of Jericho. While the Torah does not explicitly tell us the purpose of Yom Teruah, its name may indicate that it is intended as a day of public prayer. The verb form of Teruah often refers to the noise made by a gathering of the faithful calling out to the Almighty in unison. For example:
“Clap hands, all nations, shout to God, with a singing voice!” (Psalms 47:2)
“Shout to God, all the earth!” (Psalms 66:1)
“Sing to God, our strength, shout to the God of Jacob!” (Psalms 81:2)
“Shout to Yehovah, all the earth!” (Psalms 100:1)
I have edited the following quote for you somewhat.
In Leviticus 23:24, Yom Teruah is also referred to as Zichron Teruah. The word Zichron is sometimes translated as “memorial”, but this Hebrew word also means to “mention”, often in reference to speaking the name of Yehovah. For example, Exodus 3:15; Isaiah 12:4; Isaiah 26:13; Psalms 45:17[Heb. 18]. The day of Zichron Teruah, the “Mentioning Shout”, may refer to a day of gathering in public prayer in which the crowd of the faithful shouts the name of Yehovah in unison.
According to Jewish tradition, on Yom Teruah, the destiny of the righteous, the tzaddikim, are written in the Book of Life, and the destiny of the wicked, the resha’im, are written in the Book of Death. Mankind is given ten days –from Yom Teruah until Yom Kippur — to repent before sealing of the books. If a person turns to Yehovah and makes amends to those whom he has harmed, his name can be found in the Book of Life. On the other hand, if he does not repent, then his name will not be found in the Book of Life.
In other words, whether or not we repent and return to obeying Yehovah, will determine whether we are written in the book of life or the book of death. The ten days between Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur are therefore accorded special sanctity and are called Aseret Yemei Teshuvah – the “Ten Days of Repentance.” These are days that call for sincere personal repentance (”turning to Yehovah”) so that the divine decree will be given for our good…. These ten days are also called Yamim Nora’im (-the “Days of Dread” – because it is a time of judgement that affects the divine decree in the world to come.
The Scriptures clearly warn that on the coming Day of Judgment, anyone’s name not found written in the Book of Life will be thrown into the lake of fire. (Rev. 20:15). “Not every one who says to me ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven” (Matt. 7:21). Moreover, all mankind will stand before the Throne of Judgment to give account for their lives (2 Cor. 5:10). “Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is” (1 Cor. 3:13). Life is an examination, a test, and every moment is irrepeatable. Every “careless” word we utter will be echoed on the Day of Judgment (Matt. 12:36-37).
The sound of the heavenly shofar inaugurates the anticipated End of Days (1 Cor. 15:51-54; 1 Thess. 4:15-18). It also prefigures the coming Day of the LORD and Great Tribulation period that marks God’s judgment on an unbelieving world… The King is Coming! The King is coming, the King is coming! Have you heard the news? We must prepare for His soon arrival! The month of Elul and the preparation for Yom Teruah reminds us to be ready for the soon appearance of Yehshua our LORD. Though we do not know the exact day or hour of His return to possess His kingdom on earth, we are commanded to watch and be ready for His soon appearance. And with the appearance of the Great King will come great judgment. Let’s be ready to appear before this awesome King, chaverim, by turning to Him now and trusting in His redemption and love for us… Shanah Tovah!
We must also remind you about the servant who would not forgive those who offended him.
Mat 18:21 Then Peter came to Him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Until seven times?
Mat 18:22 Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, Until seven times; but, Until seventy times seven.
Mat 18:23 Therefore the kingdom of Heaven has been compared to a certain king who desired to make an accounting with his servants.
Mat 18:24 And when he had begun to count, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.
Mat 18:25 But as he had nothing to pay, his lord commanded that he, and his wife and children, and all that he had, be sold, and payment be made.
Mat 18:26 Then the servant fell down and worshiped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me and I will pay you all.
Mat 18:27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion and released him and forgave him the debt.
Mat 18:28 But the same servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. And he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me what you owe.
Mat 18:29 And his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, Have patience with me and I will pay you all.
Mat 18:30 And he would not, but went and cast him into prison until he should pay the debt.
Mat 18:31 So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were very sorry. And they came and told their lord all that was done.
Mat 18:32 Then his lord, after he had called him, said to him, O wicked servant, I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.
Mat 18:33 Should you not also have pitied your fellow servant, even as I had pity on you?
Mat 18:34 And his lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors until he should pay all that was due to him.
Mat 18:35 So likewise shall My heavenly Father do also to you, unless each one of you from your hearts forgive his brother their trespasses.
All of us seek to have our sins, our trespasses, forgiven us, but heaven forbid that we should be to not forgive our parents or spouses or our other family members who have offended us. Those of you who don’t and won’t will not be found in the Book of Life.
Our King Yehovah is coming to judge this world starting in 2024. Those 10 Days of Judgment will be 10 years. Are you ready?
Jas 5:7 Therefore be patient, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth and has long patience for it, until he receives the early and the latter rain.
Jas 5:8 You also be patient, establish your hearts, for the coming of your Lord draws near.
Jas 5:9 Do not grudge against one another, brothers, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge stands before the door.
Jas 5:10 My brothers, take the prophets who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering ill, and of patience.
Jas 5:11 Behold, we count blessed those who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you have seen the end of the Lord, that the Lord is full of pity and of tender mercy.
Act 10:42 And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained of God to be the Judge of the living and the dead.
Act 10:43 All the Prophets give witness to Him, that through His name whoever believes in Him shall receive remission of sins.
Act 17:30 Truly, then, God overlooking the times of ignorance, now He strictly commands all men everywhere to repent,
Act 17:31 because He has appointed a day in which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He appointed, having given proof to all by raising Him from the dead.
2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive the things done through the body, according to that which he has done, whether good or bad.
Joh 5:22 For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment to the Son,
Joh 5:23 so that all should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
Joh 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, He who hears My Word and believes on Him who sent Me has everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation, but has passed from death to life.
Joh 5:25 Truly, truly, I say to you, The hour is coming and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they who hear shall live.
Joh 5:26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has given to the Son to have life within Himself,
Joh 5:27 and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.
Rev 19:11 And I saw Heaven opened. And behold, a white horse! And He sitting on him was called Faithful and True. And in righteousness He judges and makes war.
Rev 19:12 And His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head many crowns. And He had a name written, one that no one knew except Himself.
Rev 19:13 And He had been clothed in a garment dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
Rev 19:14 And the armies in Heaven followed Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Rev 19:15 And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, so that with it He should strike the nations. And He will shepherd them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the wine of the anger and of the wrath of Almighty God.
Rev 19:16 And He has on His garment, and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
A Day For A Year
In Bible prophecy, it is a common understanding that prophetic messages making reference to units of time, such as days, can also be interpreted as years. We are given some clear biblical examples of this in the following verses:
34 According to the number of the days in which you searched the land, forty days, each day for a year you shall bear your iniquities, forty years; and you shall know My alienation. (Numbers 14:34)
4 Also, lie on your left side and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel on it; according to the number of days that you shall lie on it, you shall bear their iniquity. 5 For I have laid on you the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days. So, you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. And when you have fulfilled them, lie again on your right side, and you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days; a day for a year; a day for a year, I have set for you. (Ezekiel 4:4–6)
24 Seventy weeks are decreed as to your people and as to your holy city, to finish the transgression and to make an end of sins, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going out of the command to restore and to build Jerusalem, to Messiah the Prince, shall be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks. The street shall be built again, and the wall, even in times of affliction. 26 And after sixty-two weeks, Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. And the people of the ruler who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. And the end of it shall be with the flood, and ruins are determined, until the end shall be war. 27 And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week. And, in the midst of the week, he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease, and on a corner of the altar desolating abominations, even until the end. And that which was decreed shall be poured on the desolator. (Daniel 9:24–27)
We have been teaching about the Jubilee Cycles in all our books. It should come as no surprise, then, that this 120th Jubilee Cycle, which we are in right now, figures prominently in this book again, as well as in identifying when the Two Witnesses will arrive on the world scene.
The chart on the next page illustrates how we are now in the 70th Week. This is the Daniel 9:24-27 Prophecy, which began the counting from the Exodus as the first Jubilee Cycle. This 70th week (or 70th Jubilee Cycle since the Exodus) is also the 120th Jubilee Cycle since Adam was created.
When we look at our current year, we must understand that all End-Time Prophecies take place in the years that remain. Whether you agree with the chronology I have explained or not, the Jubilee Cycles are irrefutable. They are based upon 96 Sabbatical and Jubilee Years known in the Bible, historical records, and artifacts which date or reference a Shmitah Year. All 96 Sabbatical and Jubilee Year proofs correspond with each other and match in a manner most consistent on all our charts.
Most of the End-Time Prophecies must be fulfilled before the 7th millennium begins in 2045. There are a handful reserved for the end of the 7th millennium (i.e., Satan being loosed once again, the resurrection of all mankind, and the Great White Throne Judgment). You can do the math. If you disagree with my chronology of the end of this age, then you must make your own chronology fit into the remaining years left between today and 2045.
As It Was In the Days of Noah & Lot
I am going to repeat once again what I keep stressing in the majority of our books. Once you establish the Jubilee Cycles, then certain patterns develop that you cannot deny.
When you refer to our Jubilee Cycle chart on the following page, you will see our current cycle—the 120th Jubilee Cycle. You count from the far-right bottom corner. The year 1996 is the beginning of this 120th Jubilee Cycle. You then count to 2002, which is the Sabbatical Year. You repeat this method from 1996 to 2044 in the upper left–hand corner.
The years 2002, 2009, 2016, 2023, 2030, 2037, and 2044 are all Sabbatical or Shmitah Years. The current Jewish Shmitah Years fall short of being in agreement in that they are off by 1½ years. Rambam even confirmed this back in the 11th-century when he said the year the Jews keep as the Shmitah is off by 1½ years.[1]
Also, note that the first Sabbatical Cycle of seven is counted from the right-hand side as you move towards the left-hand side—very much like how you read anything written entirely in Hebrew. The 7th Sabbatical Cycle is referred to the Sabbath in my charts.
The year 2045 is the next Jubilee Year. When you understand the meaning of each Holy Day, then you will see how the Jubilee Year is very similar to the 8th Day Feast of Shemini Atzeret. This is exactly what we are told in Colossians 2:17 about the Holy Days being a shadow picture of things to come. You must gain an intimate understanding of each of the Holy Days in order to recognize the shadow pictures hidden in them. If we reckon the year 2045 as equivalent to the 8th Day Feast and then count back to each of the fall Holy Days—but only do it as years instead of days—we then arrive at the results as illustrated on the previous page.
The seven days of the Feast of Tabernacles are represented by the years 2038–2044, with 2038 representing the very 1st day of the Feast and a Holy Day. Five days before the Feast of Tabernacles is the Day of Atonement—of which in years translates as 2033. And then, counting back 10 days to the Feast of Trumpets, the operative year is 2024.
The seven days of the week are also teaching us about the 7th millennium. In the very same way, Friday, the 6th day of the week, represents the 6th millennium. This then makes the 7th day weekly Sabbath line up with the 7th millennium.
This 7th millennium of rest is exactly what the Book of Hebrews is speaking about: the rest we are to enter into:
7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear His voice, 8 do not harden your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness, 9 when your fathers tempted Me, proved Me, and saw My works forty years.” 10 Therefore, I was grieved with that generation and said, “They always err in their heart, and they have not known My ways.” 11 So I swore in My wrath, “They shall not enter into My rest.” 12 Take heed, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, 15 while it is said, “Today if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.” 16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke; however, not all who came out of Egypt by Moses. 17 But with whom was He grieved forty years? Was it not with those who had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear that they should not enter into His rest, but to those who did not believe? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. (Hebrews 3:7-19)
1 Therefore, a promise being left to enter into His rest, let us fear lest any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For also we have had the Gospel preached, as well as them. But the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. 3 For we who have believed do enter into the rest, as He said, “I have sworn in My wrath that they should not enter into My rest;” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For He spoke in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested the seventh day from all His works.” 5 And in this place again, “They shall not enter into My rest.” 6 Since then, it remains that some must enter into it, and since they to whom it was first preached did not enter in because of unbelief, 7 He again marks out a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” (after so long a time). Even as it is said, “Today, if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts.” 8 For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. 9 So then there remains a rest to the people of God. 10 For he who has entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from His. 11 Therefore, let us labor to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of unbelief. 12 For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight, but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. (Hebrew 4:1–13)
This is all very interesting, but what does it mean for us now at the end of the 6th millennial day? It is not until we compare our current Jubilee Cycle with those Jubilee Cycles mentioned in the Gospel of Luke with respect to Noah and Lot that the importance of it all comes into sharp focus for us. The chart below depicts the year 1656 after Creation, when the Great Flood occurred. It is the 34th Jubilee Cycle since the creation of Adam.
Take special note in the next chart of the year Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, which was the year 2047 after Creation. This event took place one year before Isaac was born in the year 2048 after Creation. The year 2047 is also the same year Abraham was circumcised as told to us in Genesis 17. It is the 42nd Jubilee Cycle since the creation of Adam.
Notice also that Noah’s Flood occurs in the 4th year of the 6th Sabbatical Cycle. Then notice how Sodom and Gomorrah are destroyed in the 3rd year of the 6th Sabbatical Cycle. If we compare these two to our current Sabbatical Cycle, then the year 2033 C.E.—which is the very same one that represents the Day of Atonement (back when we overlaid the fall Holy days)—actually lines up.
The following chart is the 46th Jubilee Cycle since the creation of Adam. It shows Joseph’s seven years of plenty and seven years of famine. The years of plenty begin in 1607 B.C. and extend to 1601 B.C.
The seven years of famine run their course from 1600 B.C.–1594 B.C. Again, notice how the last year of the Egyptian famine was also the 3rd year of the 6th Sabbatical Cycle. This now gives us three historical Jubilee Cycles that match up with the year 2033. However, I also understand that Joseph’s Jubilee Cycle is not mentioned in Luke along with the Days of Noah or Lot.
I am only giving you the highlights here as the Cole’s Notes portion. I have already elaborated on all of this in great detail in our books, The Prophecies of Abraham, Remembering the Sabbatical Year of 2016, The Blood Moons—The Elephant In the Room, It Was A Riddle, Not A Command!, The Sabbatical & Jubilee Year Charts, and The 2300 Days of Hell. All of these you can order from our website at: www.sightedmoon.com.
Understanding how 2033 aligns with the Sabbatical Years is pivotal to the primary thrust of this book. By this I mean that 2024–2033 represents the 10 Days of Awe in years. The 10 Days are now going to be 10 Years with the significance of the events that happen on the Feast of Trumpets taking place in 2024. In other words, those events that take place on the Day of Atonement will be played out in the year 2033.
The flood of Noah took place on the 2nd Passover in the 6th Sabbatical Cycle. The Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah took place on Passover in the 6th Sabbatical Cycle. The end of the seven years of famine in Egypt occurred during the 6th Sabbatical Cycle. These are all judgments made by Yehovah. Judgment was made on the world in Noah’s time; judgment was made over Sodom and Gomorrah, and judgment was concluded over Egypt in Joseph’s time.
In this 6th millennial day of mankind, judgment is going to take place at the exact same time: the third year of the 6th Sabbatical Cycle in this the final Jubilee Cycle of this age. In between the Passover of the flood and the Passover of Lots time is the Day of Atonement in our day of 2033.
As it was in the days of Noah and as it was in the days of Lot, they were eating and drinking, buying and selling and building, in the very same way we are today. This prophecy is not talking about how evil the people were for we are doing the very same things. No, it is describing the 3rd year of the 6th Sabbatical Cycle. It is describing the time Judgment will take place in the last days.
The year 2024 is the time when judgment will begin to take place on all 12 Tribes of Israel. The Great Tribulation will be in effect from Passover 2030 to the Day of Atonement in 2033. This is the last 3 ½ years.
Just as the shofars are sounded each day during the 10 Days of Awe, they will also be sounded each year during the 10 Years of Awe. The seven trumpet plagues of Revelation, Chapters 8-11 prophesy a time of catastrophic war, as well as a time when the nations will be judged by Yehovah.
Just as we are to repent and make amends for our sins during the 10 Days of Awe each year, during these final 10 Years of Awe, each trumpet plague—as well as each of the seals and bowls—is showing us the grievous extent to which our sins are offending Yehovah. If we think we can live without Him, then we are in for a severe trial until we realize how critical it is that we repent and return to obeying His Commandments.
[1] Mishneh Torah, Hilchot Shemitah Ve-Yovel 10:5–6 by Rambam Maimonides
The year of the Shemitah is known and famous among the Geonim and the people of the Land of Israel. They all counted only the years of the destruction in multiples of seven. According to this calculation, this year which is 1107 Year of Destruction is the year following a Shemitah. We rely on this and we teach this calculation for matters of tithes, produce, and loans. Tradition and precedent (ma‘aseh) are great pillars in instruction and it is appropriate to rely on them. 1107 + 70 = 1177 C.E.
Wildfire explained well. Now I understand why there’s wildfire every now and then
Thank you for doing all the research and teaching them to us so that many will be saved
YEHOVAH continue to protect and bless you
Could 1/3 rd of trees burning actually indicate people dying in the flames of war? In the scripture tress usually mean people. The blind man Yeshuah healed saw trees walking as men. The trees in Zechariah were the two witnesses. The trees in Revelation by the water (Torah) were for the healing of the nations.
Something we should consider I think
“The thief in the night is here”……..not knowing when he will come, every day, week, hour, second; we must be 100% devoted or………. Kind of reminds me also of the thousand years learning how to do this for those outside the city. We being the ones awake and teaching!😳 in light of this how must a man walk?
Wow super interesting news letter, I’ve been doing a midrash on similar readings but in different context with different findings.
Many believe we will see the coming of Jesus in this lifetime (Matt 24:23). Although I am open to that possibility I have been looking at another idea: the coming of the Lord in the 8th Day.
As Christians we learned that Jesus is the source of Grace.
Abraham was shown Grace (H2580 חן chên) in Genesis 18:3, and the Lord appeared to Abraham in Genesis 18:1 before the impending judgement on Sodom.
*Jesus says Abraham saw His day in John 8:56*
Noah was shown Grace (H2580 חן chên) in Gen 6:8, and God speaks to Noah before the Flood in Gen 6:13
*When does Noah see Jesus?*
The 7 days of Creation prophesy 7 millennial days. After the 7th is the 8th day
Genesis 7:10
After the seven days, the floodwaters were upon the land.
Revelation 1:7
Behold, He comes with the clouds, and every eye will see Him,
The Flood takes place in Genesis 7 for 40 days and 40 nights where it rains fall heavily from the clouds
Does Jesus come with the clouds that flood the earth during the 40 days?
For just as the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Matthew 24:37
Luke 17:25-26 (Matt 24:37-39)
25 As it was in the days of Noah, so will it also be in the days of the Son of Man.
26 But first He must suffer much and be rejected by this generation.
27 They were eating, drinking, marrying, and being given in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.

Other connections
Mat 10:34 “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword!
*Mat 10:35 I came to turn ‘a man against his father,*
*Gen 9:24 When Noah sobered up and learned what his youngest son had done to him,*
*Gen 9:25 he said, “Canaan is cursed! He will be the lowest of slaves to his relatives.”*
Matt 10:36
A person’s enemies will include members of his own family.
________
Matthew 24:28 seems to be connected with what Brian shared. Yeshua says, “Wherever there’s a corpse, there the vultures will gather”
The previous verse 27 “because just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man”
Lightning during a great flood would have lightning coming from the east flashing as far as the west
So sometime around the 17th day of the 2nd month that year or within that 40 days and nights that follow. also connected is Yeshua’s baptism than fasting for 40 days. the flood has been said to be like a baptism/cleansing of earth
Also wanted the mem also represents water / mayim or chaos, which the ancients may have associated with a great flood
I believe the flood in Genesis is also a future event. just start the count from the moment the post-trib saints are resurrected, Adam to Noah + 600 etc… ends up 8th day (between 3025-4044) no matter how you slice it, dont even gotta try and force fit it
Isaiah 65:17
For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Mat 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration G3824 when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
