Barley Wars Have Now Begun…Wow!!

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,

Our cover photo was taken by Gadi Eidelheit from Natural Israel on Facebook. See how beautiful the land is right now.

Mat 6:28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They do not toil, nor do they spin,

Mat 6:29 but I say to you that even Solomon in his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

This week, we are preparing to attend the NRB in Nashville, Tennessee, and we have interviews with some big names, so I hope you tune in to the podcasts, where they and many other updates will take place live as they happen. I am very excited about all that is taking place and the potential developing this year compared to last year. Please do keep us in your prayers.

Immediately after the NRB, half of our team will be leaving directly from Nashville to fly to Tel Aviv and begin the barley search for the first Aviv, green heads of grain. We will have approximately 15 searchers coming this year from around the world. The USA, Iran and Israel continue to posture with each other about preemptive first strike and retaliatory strikes. I want you all to seriously pray and ask Yehovah to keep us in the palm of His hand and to protect us. We are there doing precisely what He has asked in searching for the very first fruits. We ask for His protection and guidance to find it and find plenty of it, so that there will be no argument. We ask that He make it very plain for all to see. Most of us will be flying home on March 16, 2026.

There is one other mission that I must investigate on this tour. I will also be fasting leading up to that event, and I again seek your covering in prayer. I will explain it to you all after I get back.

And all of you need to plan and prepare for Passover and deleavening your homes just in case we do find barley. Be prepared.

The festival dates have all been updated at https://sightedmoon.com/holy-days/. If the barley is Aviv by Wave Sheaf Day on March 8, 2026, then all these dates are very close, depending on when the moon will be seen. Once again, this confirms the Hebrewism Yehshua said, that no one would know the day or the hour. We are just not sure until we actually see the barley and sight the moon; then we will know for certain.

We also launched Sightedmoon Radio in December 2025, with Ryan Nall as our host and manager.  https://live365.com/station/Sightedmoon-Radio-a64763 We need your help. Please go to your Apple iTunes and find Sightedmoon.com Radio. Listen to at least one podcast; only after you have listened will you be able to rank the podcast. Please help us by giving it a five-star rating and leaving a favourable comment. You can do the same for iHeart and Spotify. It is a small thing that you can do to help ITunes then share our podcast with others looking for religious content. And we are getting reports religious content is bombing on the podcast channels. But we need your help from around the world so that we get a broad base favouring our podcasts. Please do this small thing to help us get the word out.

You can also now go to the app store and download the Live365 app onto your iPhone and then search for Sightedmoon Radio and start to listen to us whenever you want to hear wholesome Messianic music, or some old-time country gospel, or an interview as we continue to add to our program.

I would also like to encourage you to subscribe to our podcasts at sightedmoon.com. Please share these podcasts on your social media platforms and let others know what you are learning here. I want to encourage you all to give the gift that keeps on giving. Give your loved ones a copy of It Was A Riddle, Not A Command and tell them it shows precisely which day Jesus was born on. Let this book do for them what you cannot do yourself. Let it convict them. Then you can have that conversation you have been praying Yehovah will grant you by having your family in this walk with you. Get a copy and give it to them today.  https://sightedmoon.com/riddle-lp/. We read this book at the Shabbat meetings a few years ago and have recently published videos that include the readings and the midrash that followed.  Please have a look in order to whet your appetite to share this book (YouTube Link).

We also need your support and ask that you consider buying us a coffee each day this month. Just that little bit of help on your part will help us cover the ads, website costs, and promotions so others can learn as well. Our ad campaigns are in full swing as I write and will be for the next two months. Join us and be part of this work at the end of this age. I also want to thank everyone who has supported us each month for many years. You have paid it forward and made it possible for those new people Yehovah is now calling. I hope others will join us and help carry this torch to the next level.

It Was A Riddle Not A Command

Listen to this Podcast discussing one of Joseph’s most popular books.

You Can Learn the Secret Meaning of:

No One Knows the Day of the Hour

Why does no One Know When Jesus was born?

When Does the Thief in the Night Come?

Why Are the Foolish Virgins Rejected?

No One Knows The Day or The Hour is a Hebrew idiom or parable.

Jesus spoke in parables to conceal His message which He later explained to the Apostles.

No One Knows The Day or the Hour is telling you the very day He will come back on!

The exact opposite to what you thought it said!

This is the very same day when He first came.

The Book of Revelation Tells you the very day and hour He was born.

You are given clues in Revelation about the thief that comes in the night, about being caught naked and ashamed. All of these clues tell you about the very day He is coming back.

Paul wrote to the Thessalonians telling them they had no need to write them about the Day of the Lord

FOR THEY KNEW FULL WELL THE MOEDIM!!!

Knowing the Moedim shows you the Day and Hour No Man Can Know.

We are also told about the Two Witnesses in the Book of Revelation…
What revelations do the Two Witnesses show you about the birth of Jesus?

There was a heavenly Host praising God when Jesus was born.
This, too, tells you the Day He was born.

Are you aware that the 5 Foolish Virgins did not understand what the Thief in the Night was?
Do You?

All these questions and so much more are explained in detail.
It was a Riddle for us to figure out.
It was not a command that we could not know.
We can KNOW.
YOU Can Know!

Thoroughly researched and profoundly significant!

5.0 out of 5 stars

There just isn’t a better book on Christian prophecy than this! What an eye opener!

Of the many books and articles that I have read on prophecy in my personal search for truth, this is the only one that does not rely on old ideas that were developed hundreds of years ago when knowledge was minimal. So much more has been learned through historical and archeological research. The world has changed so much that before now no one could have clearly envisioned how prophecy might play out.

I think the average Christian doesn’t realize that recent developments in technology and huge increases in knowledge offer us a unique opportunity to raise the veil so that we might see clearly what was once hidden behind a dark glass.

After learning about these things and seriously considering the Bible, with a willingness to set aside my traditional beliefs about prophecy, I have come to the conclusion that this book is inspired by God. Mr. Dumond presents compelling information that overturns long held assumptions and unverified beliefs making the entire body of prophetic knowledge fully accessible. As a matter of fact I think that just about anyone with no previous knowledge of the Bible would understand things that scholars have devoted their lives to explaining.

I would like everyone to know what is being shown in the pages of this book. No serious truth seeker should pass up the opportunity to have their eyes opened through its revelations. I believe it is the most important book ever written,- next to the Bible itself.

Thank you Joseph Dumond.

The Stones Cry Out Part 1 & Part 2

The Stones Cry Out Part 1 & Part 2

Do you want to know how to prove the Zadok Calendar, the Enoch Calendar, and the Book of Jubilee Calendar false?

Do you want to know how the calendar issue became so confusing?

I got this awesome endorsement and I want to share it here now. with you.

In The Stones Cry Out, I walk you through the history of each change and why those changes came about, starting with the Maccabean days. Yes, it all began around 164 B.C. When Yehshua was here, he was dealing with two schools of thought. The Sadducees were all but wiped out when the Temple fell in 70 C.E. This left only the Pharisees, who began to be persecuted after the failure of the Bar Kochbah Revolt in 134 C.E.

The truth began to become out of focus around 160 C.E. when Rabbi Jose wrote the Seder Olam. This work originally was written to proof Simon Bar Kochbah was the Messiah. When that did not pan out the history was later revived and then redacted as the truth into the Mishneh Torah by Rabbi Judah ha Nasi in 180 C.E. After this the Jerusalem Talmud begins to debate these issues. It was then during this time as the Jerusalem Talmudist are forced to flee and the Babylonian Talmudist continue to grow until the 6th century that Hillel came up with a solution to help them keep the Holy Days at the proper time while they were out of the land of Israel. He did this in 358 C.E. This work was then modified and adjusted over the next 800 years with additions added and other rejected. Until it was finally redacted once again in 1177 by Rambam. And with that we now have the modern Hillel calendar which includes the errors passed on during each redaction. These errors included the time of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years.

Once the Temple was destroyed in 70 C.E., the Jews recorded time by counting from the time It was destroyed. This is why the 40 tombstones of Zoar, which record this information, are crucial to understand.

When you understand why the Postponement rules were first created so that the crescent moon would not be seen in another part of the world before it was seen in Israel then you can understand how they were still trying to follow the crescent moon to begin the month. The Tombstones show us this exact thing. The tombstones also show us when the Jews changed from a crescent moon to a Conjunction moon to begin the month. They also show us when the Jews changed the year from the month of Aviv to the Tishri to begin the year.

I really want you to understand these things so you know why you do what you do as far as following a calendar to keep Yehovah’s moedim.

I would like to add this recent comment to encourage you all to get this book and learn these truths. And the Book is FREE. You have no reason not to get it.

Most people assume that Hillel created the calendar in 358 C.E. They then assume that because it was a Sanhedrin, they are not allowed to change in order to obey Yehovah. The Hillel calendar has been changed many times since 358 C.E. up until 1177 C.E. Few people talk about these changes but we do in our latest Book The Stones Cry Out Part 1 which is free on our website. The Hillel calendar was changed on many occasions and many sought to make other changes during this time. They never needed a Bet Din to approve those changes. They just did them. So this excuse that we do not have the right to obey Yehovah because the Bet Din has not approved it is a crock of crap.
You have the obligation to obey Yehovah. You have the duty to prove which calendar you are to go by. You must prove it beyond all doubt. Yehshua never followed the Hillel calendar. Nor did any of the Apostles.
The reason no man can know the day or the hour is because it refers to a crescent moon to begin the 7th month. That is the day He was born on and the day He comes to judge on. At a day and hour no one can know. Using the Hillel calendar predicts Yom Teruah years in advance so every one knows when to keep it. But even in the Hillel calendar they keep two days of Yom Teruah reckoning back to the sighted moon. Also in the postponement rules developed long after Hillel, they again state that if the conjunction is at a certain time then the day begins at such and such, in order that the moon will not be seen in another part of the world before it is seen in Israel. That was rule number 2.
Everyone has to choose. You have the right to be wrong. But if you choose to be wrong then you also must live with the consequences that come with sin. And that is the death penalty for not keeping the Holy Days, these Sabbath at the proper time. It is your choice.
Just because you write in to me to justify your position does mean it is right. It just means your sounding off.

Allow me to share this endorsement of our latest book again. If you have read our books, please share your thoughts about them with us in the comments below or email me.

And yes, many observe the Equinox.  There are many who are deceived, improperly educated.  And this is why Joe puts out a newsletter every week, why he writes books, why the SightedMoon Zoom Shabbat service started, why he travels to places like England and the Philippines to share this message and why were are going to the NRB in February.  The calendar is always a divisive issue in social circles because the details are many, that’s why there are so many books Joe has written.  I’m not looking to put Joe on a pedestal here.  This is not about Joe worship.  But Joe has tenaciously studied out the calendar from every angle, not to prove himself right, to to seek to find and share what Yehovah is telling us about His Calendar.

In The Stones Cry Out, Joe has shared the history of all the different groups within Israel, and the beliefs they had about the scriptures and the feast days and the calendar.  When you line it all up, you can see for yourself the how and why these misunderstandings and arguments about how and where and why  they came about.

This is my new favourite book and I’m only 60-70 pages in.  And I encourage you to read the footnotes in this one.  Sometimes there’s more footnote on the page than Joe’s words.

Sombra Wilson

When I wrote Stones Cry Out, I wanted it to be one of our FREE books so everyone would have it. It is more of an encyclopedia than a book to read. It will be your quick resource book; you will have access to every question about any calendar, how it got started, and who started it. You will also learn the history of how the Mishnah was assembled, when it was assembled and why. Then, you will learn how that information was transferred into both the Jerusalem and the Babylonian Talmud until it reached its final stage in the Mishneh Torah. Along with this progression, the calendar also progressed and changed long after 358 C.E. when Rabbi Hillel first published it. But…what was before the Hillel calendar? What does the Mishnah record about those things?

The Stones Cry Out was originally going to be one book explaining all the various proofs we have discovered, demonstrating when the Sabbatical and Jubilee years are throughout history.

You can know; it is not a mystery.

As I began to write The Stones Cry Out, I quickly found myself going back, time and time again, to explain how the calendar is behind the confusion of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. The Rabbis, as they began to write the Mishnah, incorporated wrong understandings, and those errors were written into what became known as the Talmud and then the Mishneh Torah. The expulsion from the land and subsequent persecutions in trying to send out messengers to report the barley being found or the crescent moon being seen, proved to be more and more dangerous over time. All of these things took place over 14 centuries.

Then as I was working on The Stones Cry Out, I discovered that many people were now accepting the Zadok calendar as factual. This is when we pivoted to include all the details of the various calendars that have crept back into public knowledge today and are being used to mislead new people who are just starting to learn about the calendar. All of this was directly connected to the period starting with the Hasmonaeans, up to the destruction of the Temple. Then, with the compiling of the Mishnah, the studies that led into the writing of the Jerusalem Talmud, then the Babylonian Talmud and finally the Mishneh Torah, each error that was added is compounded over time.

The Stones Cry Out, Part 1 explains the history of how each compilation of the Oral Torah incorporated errors, leading the followers thereof away from the actual Torah. In understanding these facts, it is then possible to understand more readily how the Sabbatical and Jubilee years were then mixed and later changed. By explaining all this history, I will be able to help you the reader understand the tombstones when most authorities do not. They have assumed, to their error, the Hillel calendar to have always been in use since Mount Sinai. Not understanding the history of the calendars is why most authorities dismiss the tombstones as too confusing to use. Once you understand The Stones Cry Out Part 1, Part 2 will be very easy to grasp.

Daniel 7:25 tells us he will change the appointed seasons and commandments. Many assume Constantine did this when he made Sunday the Sabbath. Few have considered the calendar’s many changes and how they relate to us today. Hidden in this proverbial swamp of confusion is the truth about the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. The Sabbatical and Jubilee years reveal the truths about the calendar that have been hidden for almost 2000 years.

We are in the very last days and Yehshua warned us that during this time:

Mat 24:10 And then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.

Mat 24:11 And many false prophets will rise and deceive many.

Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will become cold.

Mat 24:13 But he who endures to the end, the same shall be kept safe.

Paul also warned Timothy about these last days, warning that some would leave the truth and begin to follow demonic teachers:

1Ti 4:1 But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons,

Paul again warned the Thessalonians that the Great Falling away would take place in the last days. How can you fall away if you have never come to know the truth? So who is Paul talking to? Those who are called and answer that calling begin to walk this road of restoration back to Yehovah, and then at some point along that walk, they change and leave this walk following the teachings of demons to false calendar.

2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, my brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,

2Th 2:2 that you should not be soon shaken in mind or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word or letter, as through us, as if the Day of Christ is at hand.

2Th 2:3 Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition,

2Th 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself forth, that he is God.

We must endure until the end. We must not let ourselves become offended by personalities and leave the faith once given.

Join Our Sabbath Meetings

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and you and I are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s, Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers, songs and teaching from this hour.

Shabbat midrash will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

Joseph Dumond is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Barley Wars

Barley Wars

Sitting in his La-Z-Boy chair in New York, Brian Convery labels everyone else but himself as “grifters, deceivers, and downright dumbed down people to launch their untruths about the timing of the Biblical Year.” This is how he refers to you and me and anyone who seeks to learn and understand how Yehovah begins the calendrical year. If you disagree with his views or his understanding, you are a dumbed-down grifter and a deciever.

Nehemia Gordon taught Brian this understanding. Nehemia also taught me. Currently, Nehemia and I disagree on what constitutes Aviv barley. I most certainly do not call Nehemia a dumbed-down grifter and a deciever. In fact, I call him a friend and fellow student of the Torah.  What a shame for someone claiming to be an heir to the Kingdom of Yehovah to come out whitewashing everyone who has another opinion that differs from his as dumbed-down grifters and deceivers.

Brian uses the same source we do to watch the beauty of Israel unfold each day across the entire nation. Search for Nature Israel on Facebook to see what people in the land of Israel are posting.

I want you all to remember one thing this year as we all search for the Barley. Last year sightedmoon.com went to Israel once again and could not find enough barley to declare the month Aviv. So we declared an Adar Bet. Others who disagreed with our position went out the day after we kept Passover, and for that entire month, they declared that the barley was shattered and gone, thus proving, with their own testimony, that we kept Passover and Wave Sheaf Day at the proper time. They confirmed that we were right. When you make your decision, you are not always sure. We had made our decision a month earlier, declaring Adar Bet, and later in our Adar Bet month, they confirmed we were right in our declaration and the timing of keeping Passover.

Did any one of them repent and state they had made an error? No, not one.

And so here is the report of Brian Convery, a fellow searcher of the barley, but because of a lack of respect for all other searchers, I hardly ever refer to him or use his reports. Those trained by him also condemn all other searchers. I have not condemned any of the other searchers for searching on behalf of all of us. I will contend with them on doctrines or issues, but I remember they are brethren in the Kingdom and they are searching for barley the same as we are.

So here is Brian’s report. After it, I will remind you of what was said by the other searchers last year.

Sabbath January 31, 2026: Take 2
Hi again Folks and Happy Sabbath to All.
We will be entering the month of February tomorrow which is the Gregorian month used by many grifters, deceivers, and downright dumbed down people to launch their untruths about the timing of the Biblical Year.

With so many new comers this Abib Growing Cycle you will see us posting a lot of things that are second nature to many of you other guys as you have been around for a long time and have come to a much more in depth understanding of the cycle and in fact about those who actually try to change the simple truths about it.

One of the guiding Biblical principles we use constantly in determining what is acceptable and what is not in our determinations as to a most holy without blemish Wavesheaf Offering is the parable of the sower. It has a detailed description of soils and their resulting output tied directly to the spiritual reality of each. Of course, that instruction is given to us by our Savior in Matthew 13 and elsewhere in the Second Marriage Covenant scriptures. Here is the physical description: “Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: behold, a sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up, they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” (Matthew 13:3-9)

Early on we understood we could not use roadside barley, barley growing in ditches, barley growing in stone strewn ground, etc. for they are not deemed “good ground’ by our Elohim for the purposes of producing a Most Holy Wavesheaf Offering. We tied this parable together with Isaiah’s instruction about the process for producing an acceptable grain offering and it was very simple to understand

There are does and do not’s to all of this. Some understand and some do not. What is important is if you understand and move forward in your calling and relationship with Christ/Messiah. Isa 28:23-26 “Pay attention and hear my voice, listen up and hear what I have to say. Does the plowman keep plowing all day to sow? Does he keep turning his soil and breaking the clods? When he has leveled its surface does, he not sow the black cummin and scatter the cummin, plant the wheat in rows, the barley in the appointed place, and the spelt in its place! For His Elohim instructs him in right judgment/decisions.”

This is the Biblical description of “good soil” referenced by Christ/Messiah in the parable of the sower. It is soil which can be prepared by plowing and leveling. That is what we call agricultural soils here at abib.com if you did not already know. We also apply Christ/Messiah’s condensed version of Zadoks Scale for grain growing in good ground which is found in Mark 4:26-29 “And He said, the kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

Some of you may not realize it but there are grifters, deceivers, and just dumbed down folks out there who reject all three of these Biblical instructions in righteous decision making, saying they are not relevant to the Abib Calendar of our Elohim. Once again you can’t make such things up.

So that is why I personally make an effort to expose their outright lies to those who are just coming to the understanding of things many of you take for granted. It is a real war going on against the minions of the devil who are doing everything they can to prevent newly called individuals from entering the truthful teachings in scripture.

So, this morning we are going to look at one example familiar to many of you but not to some of the newer folks. Of course, anyone can go back through our archived reports from the past 2 decades and see prime examples of such things as roadside barley and the micro-environment false witnesses.

The first of the two photos from today is very descriptive. It speaks to us about the condition of the grain growing in the good ground of the Jezreel Valley. If you look to the left of the picture, you see grain which is green and happy still in the initial boot stage or less.

Now focus on the right side of the farm lane and you see a ditch with all kinds of plants growing in it. Predominantly weeds. Also notice the nature of that soil is quite stony from the top of the bank. Yes, I know some of you guys have already spotted it, so let’s move on to the second photo. I have zoomed in and cropped it to the lower right side.

Look at the wild barley there already in the head. Now apply the parable of the sower and Isaiah to it. What are your conclusions? They should be that this location is unacceptable ground to use for a most holy Wavesheaf Offering. It is a micro environment to start with. The ditch has acted as an irrigation system for those plants
growing there. Look at the size of some of the weeds already, which are choking out others around them. The wild barley is racing for its life to become mature before its allotted time due to being choked out and growing in poor soil conditions which by the way are not indicative of good ground based on scripture. Thus, it is blemished in multiple ways.

This Abib Growing Cycle we are going to show you a lot more situations like this in service to our younger brethren in the understandings of the Abib Calendar. We hope it will assist them in fending off the fake reports from the minions of satan who are trying to detour them away from the truth. If not, we have fulfilled our part in the equation. If we can be of any service in answering personal questions you can reach us at the email address at the top of this Facebook Page.

Our peace we give to you.

I encourage you all to blow up the second picture to see if you can spot the barley Brian is pontificating about being there, so he can justify dismissing it because of its location.

Before I move on, I want to share another report Brian posted on February 5, 2026.

Brian is not correct about the Oats being really early. The Oats are right on time, and yes, they mature about two weeks before the Barley. Again these are not early. Brian and many others are keeping the Feasts late and have been since 2016 when we began to break away from many of them as we followed the Aviv barley. He is late, the oats are not early. They are right on time.

I did a search of AI asking about the timing of wild Oats as compared to Barley.

In the Mediterranean climate of Israel, wild oats (Avena sterilis) typically ripen earlier than wild barley (Hordeum spontaneum) in many locations, but the gap is usually smaller (often 1–2 weeks or less, sometimes overlapping), and it varies by microhabitat, elevation, slope aspect (north vs. south facing), and rainfall patterns.Key Observations from Sources

  • Wild oats often mature and drop seeds about 2 weeks before wild barley reaches full maturity in good agricultural ground. They are described as “empty hulls” or “dropped” when barley is still in aviv or ripening stages.
  • In some fields (e.g., southern or lower-elevation areas), wild oats can be fully mature or shedding while barley is still green/yellow or aviv. In other spots (e.g., higher or north-facing slopes), the timing overlaps more closely.
  • Barley (especially wild forms) is generally more drought-tolerant and can persist longer, while wild oats escape drought by ripening quickly in early spring.

Biblical Context

  • In sighted moon/Aviv barley searches (e.g., from groups like Abib of God, Devorah’s Date Tree, or your own references), wild oats are often present in fields but are not used as the indicator for Aviv. Barley is the key crop (Leviticus 23:10–14, Exodus 9:31–32), with oats noted as dropping earlier or being “unacceptable” when barley is aviv.
  • Barley is the focus for determining the month of Aviv, and wild oats ripening/dropping ahead is common but not a rule for the 2–3 week gap you mentioned.

In short: Wild oats often precede barley by 1–2 weeks in many Israeli fields (especially in drier or lower areas), but not consistently 2–3 weeks, and the gap can be shorter or overlapping depending on conditions. If you’re using this for Aviv barley determination, stick to barley as the primary indicator, as oats are secondary or “early droppers.”

This next video is our Barley search report when we did not find enough barley to declare the month Aviv. Watch it first and see what we saw then. But do not stop there. Also, look up what the word Aviv means. You can find the first time it is used in:
Exodus 13:4, 23:15, 34:18 and Deuteronomy 16:1

Then, when you look up the meaning of the Aviv, the month of Aviv, is the month of Green Heads. Green heads of Grain. Take special note that they are not the time when the heads are brown.

Here is our 2025 report on exactly what the other barely searchers reported one month after we declared an Adar Bet. Devorah and Yoel do not report on the wheat; Becca reports on the wheat and the grapes. We can double-check our barley reports against the wheat to determine whether we got the Barley right. And then the grapes help us again, showing us we are in the right season.

And here is our explanation about why Yehovah rejected Cain’s offering. It was from the end of the season and not the first fruits. And this understanding is right from the very beginning of the Bible.

Gen 4:3 And in the end of days, it happened, Cain brought to Jehovah an offering of the fruit of the ground.

Gen 4:4 And Abel also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat of it. And Jehovah had respect to Abel and to his offering,

Gen 4:5 but He did not have respect to Cain and to his offering. And Cain glowed with anger, and his face fell.

We are going to examine this one verse closely.

Gen 4:3 And in process H4480 H7093  of time H3117  it came to pass, H1961  that Cain H7014  brought H935  of the fruit H4480 H6529  of the ground H127  an offering H4503  unto the LORD. H3068

And now I want you to focus on the H7093 part of the first word H7093   (KJC) קץ  qêts.

H7093   (Ancient Hebrew)

H7093 = AHLB# 1432-A (N)

Cain mad his offering from the end of the season when the harvest season comes to an end. He did not offer up the first fruits as Able had done. Cain did not offer the first fruits as Leviticus 23 tells us to do. We are to offer the First Fruits, not the middle of the harvest or the last fruits from the end of the harvest. We are to offer the very first fruits.

And because of this, because we are to offer the very first fruits, this is why we go to Israel each year to search for the very first fruits of Barley in order to determine when the month of Aviv will begin. If we had 6 million Jews in Israel doing this, then we would not have to.

Last week we had the first picture of the wheat with its green heads.

The Wheat and the barley both sprang up at about the same time in Israel as they do every year. The heavy rains of October and November produced the first green stems by the end of November.

This first picture is from Dalia, Israel on November 3, 2025.

The following picture is posted on November 24, by the same lady from the same fields.

We have been following her pictures of this tree at sunrise and sunset and watching the wheat grow. Both the wheat and barley jump up at the same time. The first fruits of wheat is ready for harvesting in 150 days. Barley is ready in about 90 days. If we count 90 days from the middle of or the end of November, that brings us to the end of February for the barley to be ready and the first of May for the wheat to be ready for harvesting.

The Barley and Why We Search For It

The Barley and Why We Search For It

We have been explaining the history of the calendar for the past 21 years. We have shown you that the crescent moon has been used since at least the time of Noah and was not changed until Hillel created that calendar in 538 AD and then it was instituted by Ramabam in 1177 AD.

We have also shown you how Roman persecution drove the remaining Jews out of the land of Israel. This, in turn, caused Rabbi Hillel, the Nasi, to create and instruct all of the Jews of that time to use a calculated calendar to determine the dates of the holy days. They had to do this because they did not have anyone to witness the new crescent moon or the barley.

Having understood this history and how we arrived at this point, you should be capable of understanding that with no witnesses to sight the moon, you also do not have any witnesses to search for and determine when the barley would be ready to begin the year. This then led to the Metonic Cycles being implemented in order to keep the Holy Days in their proper seasons.

Last week, we explained the importance of understanding what the barley represented in the plan of Salvation. The barley represented the first Saints raised from the grave, as told in Matt 27.

Mat 27:51  And see, the veil of the Dwelling Place was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth was shaken, and the rocks were split,

Mat 27:52  and the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the set-apart ones who had fallen asleep were raised,

Mat 27:53  and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection, they went into the set-apart city and appeared to many.

This is a HUGE understanding in Yehovahs plan of Salvation. HUGE!!

This understanding helps you understand why we use barley during the Passover season and why we use wheat during the Shavuot season.

The barley represented a resurrection of the Saints at that time in 31 CE. This then shows us that the wheat represents another resurrection of all the Saints who have lived and died since 31 CE up until Shavuot, which we believe will take place in 2033 at the end of the Great Tribulation.

The book of Revelation shows that at the end of the 7th millennium, which begins in 2045, all who have lived since Adam and have not obeyed will be raised and judged. This resurrection is shown to us in the harvest of all the fall fruits and vegetables at Sukkot each year

We are told to make an offering of our first fruits in Leviticus.

Lev 23:10 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ěl, and you shall say to them, ‘When you come into the land which I give you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest to the priest.
You will notice in this verse that it is speaking of a sheaf as being the first fruit. This tells you that the harvest it is speaking about is a grain harvest, and it is one that is stacked as “sheaves.” This refers to barley cut while green and tied into sheaves, bundles tied together. These sheaves are then stacked in what are called stokes. A stoke is a bunch of sheaves stood upright, leaning against each other in groups, so that the barley can then complete its maturing as it dries.

You must understand this process.

The barley is cut with a cycle, tied and thrown on the ground. Someone else comes along and grabs that sheave, and others then stand them upright, leaning against each other. This is the Stokes. They are left in the field for a day or three, and they are collected and thrown in the back of a wagon. As the wagon fills up, a man jumps on it and catches the sheaves tossed up to him to be piled on the wagon.

Then the wagon brings the sheaves to where they will be threshed and offloaded.

Throughout this process, even as the barley is roughly handled, the kernels do not fall out. It has to remain in the husk until it gets to the threshing floor.

If you wait to harvest the barley when it is already golden then the heads shatter with each bump and jolt and the kernel is lost long before it arrives at the threshing floor.

It is this lack of understanding that city people lack that leads them to conclude that the barley must be fully ripe at the end of the 12th month. This would then let the barley ripen for another 14 to 21 days until wave sheaf day.

It was forbidden to eat or even reap any newly grown crops of the five species of grain (wheat, barley, oats, rye, and spelt) before the harvesting of the Omer.

Lev 23:14  And you shall eat neither bread, nor parched grain, nor green ears, until the same day, until you have brought an offering to your God. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Unique among offerings in the Temple, the Omer offering was brought with great fanfare. This is how Maimonides describes it:

On the Friday before the Sabbath that fell during the Days of Unleavened Bread during the season of Passover, the agents of the court would go out to the field and tie the barley into bundles while it was still attached to the ground so that it would be easy to reap. After the Sabbath had ended, the Sabbath during the Days of Unleavened Bread, all of the inhabitants of all the neighbouring villages would gather so that it would be reaped with much fanfare. They would have three men reap three se’ah of barley in three baskets with three sickles.

When it became dark, the reapers would ask those standing in attendance:

“Has the sun set?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Has the sun set?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Has the sun set?” They would answer: “Yes.”

“Is this a sickle?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Is this a sickle?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Is this a sickle?” They would answer: “Yes.”

“Is this a basket?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Is this a basket?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Is this a basket?” They would answer: “Yes.”

Afterwards, they would ask:

“Should I reap?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Should I reap?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Should I reap?” They would answer: “Yes.”3

After reaping, they would bring the barley to the Temple courtyard, where it would be left to stand overnight and early in the morning, they would begin to process and prepare the barley for the offering that Sunday morning.

The barley was then beaten because the heads were still green, winnowed, and then roasted in a cylinder over the fire to remove the remaining water from the kernels. The kernels were then spread out in the Temple courtyard and the wind wafted through it. The barley was then brought to a mill and ground to produce three se’ah (approximately 6.5 gal.), and after it had been sifted with 13 sifters, an issaron (one-tenth) was removed.

This portion of fine barley flour was taken and mixed with oil, and a handful of frankincense was placed upon it. It was waved in the eastern portion of the Temple courtyard in all four directions—up, down, right and left. It was then brought close to the tip of the southwest corner of the altar, like the other meal offerings. A handful of the meal was taken and offered on the altar’s pyre. The remainder was eaten by the priests like the remainder of all other meal offerings.

This is Maimonides, who is telling us the procedure for this wave offering.

Again, let us review which part of the Barley we are to offer up here.

Lev 23:10 Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap the harvest of it, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest.

Lev 23:11 And he shall wave the sheaf before Jehovah to be received for you. On the next day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

It is to be the FIRST Fruits of the crops. A Sheaf of barley. The first fruits. Not the second, the third, or the last fruits. It is to be the very first fruits.

This is why we search for the first fruits. This is why we go out and check the fields and see what condition they are in. This is why we become experts in the ripening process of the barley and know how many days it takes for the barley to go from the boot stage to the soft dough stage.

Once it is in the dough stage, it can then ripen overnight once it is cut.

We tend to look for barley towards the end of the 12th month. Then we can guesstimate if it will be ready in time for the Days of Unleavened Bread and wave sheaf day.

But what if we are wrong and the barley is not ready by Passover when we thought it would be? This is when an extra month is then added in to give the barley another 30 days to get ready. But none can be harvested during these 30 days if they become ripe earlier than expected. This is why getting the barley at the proper stage is so crucial.

To present what is not the first fruits would be a sin before Yehovah. Waiting would risk the farmers losing the crop, as it reseeds itself, while we waited for the wave sheaf day ceremony. Only after that could the rest of the grains be harvested.

Lev 23:14And you shall eat neither bread, nor parched grain, nor green ears, until the same day, until you have brought an offering to your God. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Do you see the importance of this day yet?

We are also told the day we are to put the cycle to the grain. It is the very same day that the wave offering is conducted.

Lev 23:15And you shall count to you from the next day after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete.

Lev 23:16To the next day after the seventh sabbath you shall number fifty days. And you shall offer a new food offering to Jehovah.

Now read this same command in Deut

Deu 16:9You shall count seven weeks to yourselves. Begin to count the seven weeks from the time you began to put the sickle to the grain.

This is telling you that after the Sabbath, when the grain is cut, which is the first day of the week, that this is when you are to begin your count to Shavuot. And it is at this time when they begin to cut the barley, on this first day of the week after the sun has set at the end of the Sabbath.
