Join Our Sabbath Meetings

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

Iran & Revelation 6

On telegram, I have been following Israel Real Time (@Israel_Realtime_Updates) for updates that are not full of commentary and rumours. Knowing this, when I read the following on their platform and it caused me to pause. I reposted it to my sightedmoon.com platform.

IRANIAN NUKE? Last Saturday evening, Iran declared a closed sky, everyone thought an Israeli attack was on the way. The reason for the closing of the sky, an underground “nuclear test” carried out by Iran which resulted in an earthquake in a desert area where there had never been an earthquake before. The earthquake was noiseless (no pre-quakes, no after-quakes) which further strengthens the assumption it was not natural.

According to the reports, the destructive power of the bomb is comparable to the Pakistani, Indian and Korean bombs. From public info this remains speculation.

When I searched for news about this, I discovered the following article. And I want to post this here, as I am not above being duped by false news.

FACT CHECK: Did Iran Conduct a Nuclear Test That Triggered An Earthquake?

A post on X claims that a nuclear test conducted by Iran caused an earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale, triggering widespread speculation.

 

 

Verdict: Misleading

 

There is no evidence to support the claim that Iran conducted a nuclear test. The earthquake in question was a natural seismic event, and no international monitoring agencies have reported nuclear activity associated with it.

Fact Check:

The viral posts claims that an earthquake that occurred within the country of Iran was part of a nuclear test conducted underground. The allegations come after the country launched a missile strike against Israel following the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah., according to The Associated Press.

“Iran conducted a nuclear test moments ago, resulting in an earthquake measuring 4.6 ٪ on the reactor scale,” the post claims.

The claims are unfounded. On Oct. 5, 2024, a 4.4 to 4.6 magnitude earthquake struck Iran’s Semnan province, roughly 70 miles southeast of Tehran. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) recorded the earthquake as occurring at a shallow depth of 10 kilometers.

While social media posts quickly linked the earthquake to an alleged nuclear test by Iran, these claims are unfounded. Some social media posts incorrectly referred to the earthquake as being measured on a “reactor scale,” a term that does not exist in seismology. Earthquakes are measured using the Richter scale, a widely recognized logarithmic scale used to assess the magnitude of seismic events.

A search engine lookup found that the claims may be stemming from Indian-based outlets speculating on the nature of the earthquakes. However, there are no credible reports suggesting the earthquakes are not natural.

Iran’s nuclear program has long been a subject of geopolitical tension. According to The Associated Press, the Natanz Nuclear Facility is reportedly constructing an underground base to continue research into an atomic bomb should it be struck by a missile.

This isn’t the first time rumors of a nuclear test have followed seismic activity in Iran, and such claims have repeatedly been debunked due to the lack of scientific evidence. Check Your Fact has also investigated and debunked other rumors of nuclear activity, especially in regard of its potential use against the State of Israel.

Is this the earthquake of Rev 6 and Rev 8?

I was thinking about these two verses in Revelation and whether or not it was an earthquake or could it be a nuclear explosion.

Rev 6:12  And when He had opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake. And the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.

Rev 6:13  And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs when she is shaken by a mighty wind.

Rev 6:14  And the heaven departed like a scroll when it is rolled together. And every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Rev 6:15  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every freeman, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains.

The other verse with an earthquake in it is the Trumpet Plagues:

Rev 8:1  And when He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour.

Rev 8:2  And I saw the seven angels who stood before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

Rev 8:3  And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer. And many incenses were given to him, so that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints on the golden altar before the throne.

Rev 8:4  And the smoke of the incense which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God from the angel’s hand.

Rev 8:5  And the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it into the earth. And voices and thunderings and lightnings and an earthquake occurred.

Then, on Wednesday, Oct 9, Israel Real Time posted:

IRAN THREATENS WITHDRAWAL FROM NON-PROLIFERATION TREATY: In response to a possible Israeli attack, Iran’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee members stated that they would consider withdrawing from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

The Iranian Parliament is set to convene a special session in the coming days to discuss potential changes to the country’s nuclear doctrine.

What am I supposed to be looking for in Revelations 6 and 8? Before the news about Iran which was false news about the nuclear test there was a seismic event out of Greenland. This seismic event in Greenland took place in late August and September.

Mystery tremors were from massive nine-day tsunami

A massive landslide in a Greenland fjord triggered a wave that “shook the Earth” for nine days.

The seismic signal last September was picked up by sensors all over the world, leading scientists to investigate where it had come from.

The landslide – a mountainside of rock that collapsed and carried glacial ice with it – triggered a 200m wave.

That wave was then “trapped” in the narrow fjord – moving back and forth for nine days, generating the vibrations.

Landslides like this, scientists say, are happening more frequently with climate change – as the glaciers that support Greenland’s mountains melt.

The results of the investigation into this event, which are published in the journal Science, are the result of a detective mission involving an international team of scientists and the Danish Navy.

“When colleagues first spotted this signal last year, it looked nothing like an earthquake. We called it an ‘unidentified seismic object’,” recalled Dr Stephen Hicks from UCL, one of the scientists involved.

“It kept appearing – every 90 seconds for nine days.”

A group of curious scientists started to discuss the baffling signal on an online chat platform.

“At the same time, colleagues from Denmark, who do a lot of fieldwork in Greenland, received reports of a tsunami that happened in a remote fjord,” explained Dr Hicks. “So then we joined forces.”

The team used the seismic data to pin down the location of the signal’s source to Dickson Fjord in East Greenland. They then gathered other clues, including satellite imagery and photographs of the fjord that were taken by the Danish Navy just before the signal appeared.

A satellite image showed a cloud of dust in a gully in the fjord. Comparing photographs before and after the event revealed that a mountain had collapsed and swept part of a glacier into the water.

The researchers eventually worked out that 25 million cubic metres of rock – a volume equivalent of 25 Empire State Buildings – slammed into the water, causing a 200m-high “mega-tsunami”.

In the “after” photographs of the location, a mark is visible on the glacier – left by the sediment that the giant wave hurled upwards.

‘Wave couldn’t dissipate its energy’

Tsunamis, usually caused by underground earthquakes, dissipate within hours in the open ocean. But this wave was trapped.

“This landslide happened about 200km inland from the open ocean,” Dr Hicks explained. “And these fjord systems are really complex, so the wave couldn’t dissipate its energy.”

The team created a model that showed how, instead of dissipating, it sloshed back and forth for nine days.

“We’ve never seen such a large scale movement of water over such a long period,” said Dr Hicks.

Scientists say the landslide was caused by rising temperatures in Greenland, which have melted the glacier at the base of the mountain.

“That glacier was supporting this mountain, and it got so thin that it just stopped holding it up,” said Dr Hicks. “It shows how climate change is now impacting these areas.”

While this event was in a a remote area, these fjords are visited by some Arctic cruise ships. Fortunately none were in the area where this landslide occurred. But the lead researcher, Dr Kristian Svennevig from the National Geological Surveys for Denmark and Greenland (GEUS), said this was an increasingly common phenomenon in the Arctic.

“We are witnessing a rise in giant, tsunami-causing landslides, particularly in Greenland,” he told BBC News.

“While the Dickson Fjord event alone doesn’t confirm this trend, its unprecedented scale underscores the need to carry out more research.”

The event at Dickson Fjord, Dr Hicks added, “is the perhaps first time a climate change event has impacted the crust beneath our feet all the world over.”

I am contemplating these things because some tell me that before the Trumpet Plagues of Revelation 8 can begin, you must complete the seven seals of Revelation 6. Is their reasoning correct?

First of all, we must examine the first four seals of Revelation 6 about the first four horses.

Rev 6:1  And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures like a sound of thunder, saying, Come and see.

Rev 6:2  And I saw. And behold a white horse! And he sitting on it had a bow. And a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer.

Rev 6:3  And when He had opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, Come and see.

Rev 6:4  And another, a red horse, went out. And power was given to him sitting on it, to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another. And there was given to him a great sword.

Rev 6:5  And when He had opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, Come and see. And I looked, and lo, a black horse. And he sitting on it had a balance in his hand.

Rev 6:6  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures say, A choenix of wheat for a denarius, and three choenixes of barley for a denarius. And do not hurt the oil and the wine.

Rev 6:7  And when He had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, Come and see.

Rev 6:8  And I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him sitting on it was Death, and Hell followed with him. And authority was given to them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with the sword and with hunger and with death and by the beasts of the earth.

The first horse is white but is not Yehshua; it is a false religion that goes forth conquering and to conquer. Those who do not submit to the false religion are then subjected to the Red horse of war, which is another tool used to conquer. The third horse is famine, which is caused by war, but we are also told in Revelation 13 that you can’t buy food unless you have the mark of this beast or have submitted to this conquering false religion.

Rev 13:15  And there was given to it to give a spirit to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might both speak, and might cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

Rev 13:16  And it causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark on their right hand, or in their foreheads,

Rev 13:17  even that not any might buy or sell except those having the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of its name.

Rev 13:18  Here is the wisdom. Let him having reason count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. And its number is six hundred and sixty-six.

The fourth horse is death. Death to all those who do not submit to the religion of the white horse that went forth first. Many try to teach you that these seven seals will occur during the final seven years before Jesus returns. I do not think that is correct. I think these first five seals have been taking place for the past 1600 years.

The oil boom stabilized the Arab States of the Gulf Cooperation Council (comprising of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates), making them the world’s largest oil producers and exporters, which focus on capitalism, free trade, and tourism.^[24][25]

The fifth seal are those who died not taking on the mark of this beast over these past 1600 years. Even The “Marines’ Hymn,” the official hymn of the United States Marine Corps, is the oldest official song in the United States Armed Forces, is about this white horse and it was set back at Tripoli. The “Marines’ Hymn” is typically sung at the position of attention as a gesture of respect, akin to a national anthem.

The battle of Tripoli was part of the Barbary Wars of 1801-1805 in which the USA and Sweden refused to pay Tripoli ransom sums in order to stop piracy upon their merchant ships.

These wars began right after the American Revolution of 1776, once the USA broke free from British protection in the Mediterranean Sea.

The Algerian–American War was a state of conflict which existed between the Regency of Algiers and the United States that lasted from 1785 to 1795. Occurring after the U.S. became independent from the British Empire as a result of the American Revolutionary War, Algiers declared war on the United States after realizing that American merchant shipping was no longer under the protection of the Royal Navy.

Barbary pirates operating out of Algiers captured 53 U.S. merchant ships and 1 brig along with 180 American sailors, 83 of whom were subsequently ransomed back by the United States government. Since the Continental Navy had been disbanded in 1783, the U.S. had no navy to protect American shipping, and was forced to sue for peace with Algiers in 1795, agreeing to pay an annual tribute of $21,600. The war led to the United States Congress to pass the Naval Act of 1794, which created the United States Navy.

The Islamic nations at this time were pirating merchant ships, capturing the crews and selling them for salve or ransoms to the home countries.

Barbary corsairs and crews from the quasi-independent^[8] North African Ottoman provinces of Algiers, Tunis, Tripoli, and the independent Sultanate of Morocco under the Alaouite dynasty (the Barbary Coast) were the scourge of the Mediterranean.^[9] Capturing merchant ships and enslaving or ransoming their crews provided the rulers of these nations with wealth and naval power. The Trinitarian Order, or order of “Mathurins”, had operated from France for centuries with the special mission of collecting and disbursing funds for the relief and ransom of prisoners of Mediterranean pirates. According to Robert Davis, between 1 and 1.25 million Europeans were captured by Barbary pirates and sold as slaves between the 16th and 19th centuries.^[10]

I am just showing you where this Anthem of the Marines got its words from. It began with a war against the white horse, trying to force its values upon the new USA.

Understanding now that these seven seals are not all-inclusive in the final seven years gives us cause to look again at the final seal.

Rev 6:17 for the great day of His wrath has come, and who will be able to stand?

This seal is showing me that it is a nuclear bomb, and once it goes off, then the Kings of the earth and all men seek to hide themselves.

Yehshua is supposed to reveal these things to those who are His servants.  So it behooves us to pray and ask for understanding.

Rev 1:1 A Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to declare to His servants things which must shortly come to pass. And He signified it by sending His angel to His servant John,

The six seals span the time of Islam, so it is not necessary for them to be complete before the seven Trumpet plagues begin. An earthquake doesn’t need to take place to fulfill the Revelation 6 seals. I am sharing all of this so that we do not fix a false understanding of a world event like the earth wobbling for nine days or an underground nuclear test that did not take place.

The Censer Cast to the Earth

Having now satisfactorily explained the history of the six seals, I am no longer encumbered, waiting for some significant earthquake to occur. I can now look at the seven Trumpet Plagues without being dependent upon an earthquake before they can begin.

This first event amazes me, especially after all my tours of the Mount of Offence and staying there. The Mount of Offence is the Altar. It is also the wheels of Ezekiel with all the eyes around it. I urge you to read our article about Merkava-Golgotha-Ezekiel’s Wheel-Mazzaroth.

I want you to understand that I was on the Mount of Offence when what I will explain took place. I did not see an angel or the censer of incense thrown to the earth. And I could be wrong about what I am about to explain.

On October 7 2023, I was sleeping in the Panorama Hotel next to the Maison de Abraham up the hill. I was watching for what I expected to be the Abomination being set up in the shrine recently built for a Blessed Virgin Mary. That Saturday morning they were trying to have some sort of ceremony but had to retreat back inside due to the sirens warning of missile attacks. I raced up to watch the ceremony at this time. No statue was set up. I believe the Ark of Yehovah is beneath this mount and it is also where Yehshua was crucified. This is where I bring all my tours.

What does it mean when we are told the angel threw the censer on the earth?

My search begins in Isaiah and with Yehovah standing up to repay His enemies with fire;

Isa 66:5 Hear the Word of Jehovah, you who tremble at His Word; your brothers who hated you, who cast you out for My name’s sake, said, Let Jehovah be glorified. But He will appear to your joy, and they will be ashamed.

Isa 66:6 A sound of noise from the city, a sound from the temple, a sound of Jehovah repaying His enemies.

Rejoice with Jerusalem

Isa 66:7 Before she travailed, she gave birth; before her pain came, she delivered a man child.

Isa 66:8 Who has heard a thing like this? Who has seen things like these? Will the earth be brought forth in one day? Or will a nation be born at once? For Zion travailed and also brought forth her sons.

Isa 66:9 Will I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth, says Jehovah? Surely I will cause birth and restrain, says your God.

Isa 66:10 Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all who love her. Rejoice for joy with her, all who mourn for her;

Isa 66:11 that you may suck and be satisfied with her comforting breasts; that you may milk out and be delighted with the fullness of her glory.

Isa 66:12 For so says Jehovah, Behold, I will hold out peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like a flowing stream. Then you will suck, you will be carried on her sides and be dandled upon her knees.

Isa 66:13 As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; and you will be comforted in Jerusalem.

Isa 66:14 And you will see, and your heart will rejoice, and your bones will flourish like the grass. And the hand of Jehovah will be known toward His servants, and His fury toward His enemies.

Final Judgment and Glory of the Lord

Isa 66:15 For, behold, Jehovah will come with fire, and with His chariots like a tempest, to refresh His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire.

Isa 66:16 For by fire and by His sword Jehovah will execute judgment with all flesh; and the slain of Jehovah will be many.

Isa 66:17 Those who sanctify themselves, and purify themselves to go into the gardens, behind one tree in the middle, eating swine’s flesh, and the hateful thing, and the mouse, will be cut off together, says Jehovah.

Isa 66:18 For I know their works and their thoughts; it comes to gather all the nations and the tongues; and they will come and see My glory.

Isa 66:19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those who escape from them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, drawers of the bow; to Tubal, and Javan, to the far away coasts that have not heard My fame, nor have seen My glory. And they will declare My glory among the nations.

Isa 66:20 And they will bring all your brothers for an offering to Jehovah out of all nations on horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and on mules, and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem, says Jehovah, as the sons of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of Jehovah.

Isa 66:21 And I will also take some of them for priests and for Levites, says Jehovah.

Isa 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make stand before Me, says Jehovah, so will your seed and your name stand.

Isa 66:23 And it will be, from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before Me, says Jehovah.

Isa 66:24 And they will go out and see the dead bodies of the men who have sinned against Me; for their worm will not die, nor will their fire be put out; and they will be an object of disgust to all flesh.

My next verse is Jeremiah where Yehovah is raising up the Medes who are today Iran.

Jer 51:11 Sharpen the arrows; gather the shields; Jehovah has raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes. For His plan is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of Jehovah, the vengeance of His temple.

But it is Ezekiel that speaks loudest to me:

Ezk 10:1 And I looked, and behold! In the expanse over the head of the cherubs was seen the appearance of the form of a throne, like a sapphire stone, above them.

Ezk 10:2 And He spoke to the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in among the wheels, under the cherub, and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubs, and scatter them on the city. And he went in before me.

Ezk 10:3 And the cherubs were standing on the right side of the house when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.

Ezk 10:4 And the glory of Jehovah rose from the cherub, over the threshold of the house. And the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of Jehovah’s glory.

Ezk 10:5 And the sound of the cherubs’ wings was heard over the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when He speaks.

Ezk 10:6 And it happened when He had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubs; he went in then and stood beside the wheels.

Ezk 10:7 And a cherub stretched out his hand from between the cherubs to the fire between the cherubs, and he lifted it and put it into the hands of the one clothed with linen. And he took it and went out.

Ezk 10:8 And the form of a man’s hand was seen under the wings of the cherubs.

Ezk 10:9 And I looked, and behold, the four wheels were beside the cherubs, one wheel was by one cherub, and another wheel by one cherub; and the wheels looked like the color of a stone of Tarshish.

Ezk 10:10 And their appearance was as one, the four of them, as if the wheel were in the midst of the wheel.

The fire from the Altar in Ezekiel is from under the wheels, which means round and is another name for Golgotha. Again read the article above.

No, I am not saying that coals from the altar were given to me. But I was there on October 7, 2023. I was there when 2000 rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israel and some of those at Jerusalem were exploding overhead as I watched.

This was exactly 1290 days from the time the daily was stopped by Netanyahu when he shut down Israel and every synagogue because of COVID-19 on March 25, 2020.

Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the desolating abomination set up, a thousand two hundred and ninety days shall occur.

Dan 12:12 Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

After October 7, 2023, 1335 days later, the first hostages were set free.

We were expecting something in 2020 because of what we are told in Daniel 9. The word weeks in Daniel 9 is Shabua and means Feast of Weeks or 49 days, hence the Jubilee cycle.

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease, and on a corner of the altar desolating abominations, even until the end. And that which was decreed shall be poured on the desolator.

The Abomination that was set up, was at the Nova Festival on Shemini Atzeret according to the Hillel calendar. This event took place in the corner of the Holy Land of Israel, Kadesh Barnea. Kadesh means Holy.

We have a continuous line of events from the time Yehovah spoke to Moses in an unbroken chain from the burning bush until the setting up of the Abomination on October 6, 2023, and the subsequent attack on October 7, 2023. This is the 7 weeks or 7 Jubilee cycles from the burning bush; then 62 Jubilee cycles until 1996; then the middle of the 70th Jubilee cycle, 2020. If our understanding is correct, then this continuity should continue until the very end.

Because of our understanding of the Jubilee cycles and when we combine that with our understanding of the Holy Days, we know that the 10 Days of Awe are 10 Years of Awe. Those ten years began with Aviv, 2024 and ended with Atonement, 2033, when Satan will be locked away. These are the ten years of judgment on the world, and that judgment has now begun.

Yehovah also promised to send the plagues of Egypt in the last days if we did not continue to obey Him.

Deu 28:58  If you will not observe to do all the words of this Law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, JEHOVAH YOUR GOD,

Deu 28:59  then Jehovah will make your plagues remarkable, and the plagues of your seed great and persistent plagues; with evil and long-lasting sicknesses.

Deu 28:60  Also, He will bring on you all the diseases of Egypt of which you were afraid. And they shall cling to you.

Deu 28:61  Also, every sickness and every plague which is not written in the book of this Law, Jehovah will bring them on you until you are destroyed.

These 10 plagues are designed to attack each of the 10 main gods of Egypt which are still being worshiped today by other names. Each plague matches one year for the 10 years of Judgment or the 10 days of Awe.

More on that in the next section, but I want to get back to Revelation 8 and the Trumpet Plagues.

The silence in heaven of about 1/2 hour.

There are 48 1/2 hours in one day. So a day for a Hebrew year would be 354 days divided by 48. This works out to be a bit more than a week. From October 7, 2023 until Israel invaded Gaza on October 13, was just less than two weeks.

Looking at the censer itself and when it is used, we can learn a great deal about using it incorrectly. I found the following article insightful from:

A censer was a vessel used to transport hot coals from under the sacrificial altar to the altar of incense. This was done morning and evening on a daily basis as a perpetual incense offering (Ex. 30). Incense could also be burned directly in the censer as occurred on the annual day of atonement (Lev. 16). After sacrificing a bull as a sin offering for himself the high priest was to:

. . . take a censer full of coals of fire from the altar before the LORD and a full double handful of finely ground fragrant incense, and bring them inside the veil-canopy. He must then put the incense on the fire before the LORD, and the cloud of incense will cover the atonement plate which is above the ark of the testimony, so that he will not die. (Lev. 16:12-13)

In this scenario, the censer conveyed coals from the altar into the Holy of Holies and the resulting cloud of incense provided a covering for the ark. Without this covering the high priest would have died from exposure to the presence of the Lord in the Holy of Holies.

Interestingly, censers are often depicted being used incorrectly resulting in divine punishment. In Leviticus 10:1-2 Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu present strange (i.e. unauthorized) fire in their censers which God had not commanded. “So fire went out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them so that they died before the Lord.” In 2 Chronicles 26:16-20 King Uzziah steps beyond his royal role to offer incense on the altar of incense. He is still holding a censer when the priests confront him and he is afflicted with a skin disease. The prophet Ezekiel receives a vision of seventy elders of Israel covertly worshiping detestable abominations, “. . . each with a censer in his hand, and fragrant vapors from a cloud of incense were swirling upward” (Ezek. 8:11).

Perhaps the incident in which censers play the greatest role is the rebellion of Korah recorded in Numbers 16. After Korah leads a group of Reubenites to question Moses and Aaron’s authority, Moses commands an incense-burning contest between Korah and his followers on the one hand, and Aaron on the other. “And each of you take his censer, put incense in it, and then each of you present his censer before the Lord: 250 censers, along with you, and Aaron – each of you with his censer” (v. 17). God caused the earth to swallow Korah and his men while “a fire went out from the Lord and devoured the 250 men who offered incense” (v. 35). Notably, as with Nadab and Abihu, the judgment for incorrectly worshiping with a censer was being consumed by fire. Of course, many of the trumpet judgments will also be accompanied by fire.

Even more intriguing, however, is Aaron’s use of the censer the following day. The Israelites complain that Moses and Aaron had “killed the Lord’s people,” implying they believed Korah’s rebellion had been legitimate. In anger, God begins to send a deadly plague among the people, but Moses commands Aaron to use the censer to make atonement for the people to stop the plague.

The Lord spoke to Moses: “Get away from this community, so that I can consume them in an instant!” But they threw themselves down with their faces to the ground. Then Moses said to Aaron, “Take the censer, put burning coals from the altar in it, place incense on it, and go quickly into the assembly and make atonement for them, for wrath has gone out from the Lord—the plague has begun!” So Aaron did as Moses commanded and ran into the middle of the assembly, where the plague was just beginning among the people. So he placed incense on the coals and made atonement for the people. He stood between the dead and the living, and the plague was stopped. (Numbers 16:44-48)

As on the day of atonement the censer holds coals from the altar and incense is burned directly on it. This creates a cloud that provides a covering (or atonement) for the unrepentant Israelites which shields them from God’s wrath. Aaron, using the incense burning in the censer, acts as a sort of intercessory “barrier” to halt the progression of the plague.

From these passages we understand that the censer functions as an intercession to hold back God’s wrath. Applying this to the heavenly Temple we know that mankind, like the Israelites, is rebellious and deserving of judgment. Yet the world is generally spared the full force of God’s wrath. This deferral of judgment is due to God’s mercy and patience—a truth that is recognized throughout Scripture. In fact, not only does He delay His wrath upon the wicked but He even sends them temporal blessings.

The LORD is compassionate and merciful;
He is patient and demonstrates great loyal love.
He does not always accuse,
And does not stay angry.
He does not deal with us as our sins deserve;
He does not repay us as our misdeeds deserve.
(Psalm 103:8-10)

But I say to you, love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be like your Father in heaven, since he causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. (Matt. 5:44-45)

The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some regard slowness, but is being patient toward you, because he does not wish for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

It is these attributes of God, then, which may be represented by the image of the censer. As Peter makes clear this patience is a temporary state of affairs to allow time for salvation. This salvation is provided through the intercession of our eternal High Priest, Jesus Christ (Heb 7:25). However, in order for the Day of the Lord to arrive God’s mercy must eventually be withdrawn, at least in part, so that justice might be executed. If the heavenly censer symbolizes the merciful longsuffering that currently shields the world from divine judgment, then its sudden casting down to the earth without incense must represent the removal of that covering. This is the final prerequisite—the final seal—before God’s wrath begins.

If this interpretation of the censer is correct, then this mercy must be withdrawn in the short window of time after the fullness of the Gentiles has come in (the rapture) but before the Day of the Lord begins—which is precisely where the prewrath timeline places it. That the heavenly censer is removed at the seventh seal thus provides additional verification that God’s wrath does not begin until the seven trumpets.

There may be a secondary meaning to the censer. Note that before it is thrown down it is filled with coals from the altar. These coals would have come from under the sacrificial altar: the same location as the souls of fifth seal martyrs. The nephesh (life, soul) resides in the blood (Lev. 17:11, 14), and in some types of offerings a remainder of blood was poured around the base of the altar (Ex. 29:12; Lev. 4:7, 18, 25; 5:9; 8:15). This suggests that the reason the souls of the martyrs are pictured under the altar is because they were slain by the world as a form of sacrifice to God.

It may seem odd to think of the martyrs in this way, but Jesus warned His disciples that “. . . a time is coming when the one who kills you will think he is offering service to God,” (John 6:2). While this had a near-term fulfillment in the martyrs of the early church, it is not unreasonable to assume that it will be true during the great tribulation as well. In attempting to prove their own righteousness the wicked will reject the true Lamb of God and kill His servants. This illicit and self-righteous offering will be as unpleasing to God as Cain’s was. Might the fiery coals then represent the trials and persecutions that the martyrs were subjected to, and might the throwing down of the censer represent God’s rejection of this unsanctioned sacrifice? As with Nadab, Abihu, and Korah’s men, such a breach of God’s law would require a fiery judgment.

The prayers of the Saints are the incense that goes up before Yehovah. Our Prayers form the cloud around Him. That incense is burnt upon the coals in the censer. By throwing the censer to the ground, is Yehovah saying no more prayers for the unjust? The time for judgment is now!

Read again the account in Exodus about the Red Sea crossing and pay attention to where the Egyptians say they fight the face of God.

Exo 14:1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Exo 14:2 Speak to the sons of Israel that they turn and camp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baal-zephon. You shall camp before it, by the sea.

Exo 14:3 For Pharaoh will say of the sons of Israel, They are tangled in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.

Exo 14:4 And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he will follow them. And I will be honored upon Pharaoh, and upon all his army, so that the Egyptians may know that I am Jehovah. And they did so.

Exo 14:5 And the king of Egypt was told that the people fled. And the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people. And they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?

Exo 14:6 And he made his chariot ready, and took his people with him.

Exo 14:7 And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.

Exo 14:8 And Jehovah hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt. And he pursued the sons of Israel, and the sons of Israel went out with a high hand.

Exo 14:9 But the Egyptians pursued them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army. And they overtook them camping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baal-zephon.

What I am seeing is that the cloud that surrounds Yehovah, the shekinah, the glory of Yehovah, and the prayers of the Saints; when it is removed, the judgment of Yehovah is upon the world.

Moses was found to be the meekest of all men and he spoke with Yehovah face to face.

Exo 24:13 And Moses rose up, and Joshua his attendant; and Moses went up to the mountain of God.

Exo 24:14 And he said to the elders, Wait here for us, until we return to you; and behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matter, let him come before them.

Exo 24:15 And Moses went up to the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.

Exo 24:16 And the glory of Jehovah abode on mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days; and on the seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

Exo 24:17 And the appearance of the glory of Jehovah was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain, before the eyes of the children of Israel.

Exo 24:18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and ascended the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

Exodus 33:11 Thus the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses returned to the camp, his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent.

Deuteronomy 34:10 Since that time no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,

Numbers 12:8 With him I speak mouth to mouth, Even openly, and not in dark sayings, And he beholds the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant, against Moses?”

When Moses writes the Book of Deuteronomy he says all of Israel spoke with Yehovah face to face, but Yehovah was in the cloud:

Deu 5:1  And Moses called all Israel and said to them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, so that you may learn them and keep and do them.

Deu 5:2  Jehovah our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.

Deu 5:3  Jehovah did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, all of us here, alive today.

Deu 5:4  Jehovah talked with you face to face in the mountain out of the midst of the fire;

Deu 5:5  (I stood between Jehovah and you at that time, to show you the Word of Jehovah, for you were afraid because of the fire, and did not go up into the mountain,) saying,

Deu 5:6  I am Jehovah your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

Even Jacob wrestled with Yehovah face to face.

Genesis 32:30 So Jacob named the place Peniel, for he said, “I have seen God face to face, yet my life has been preserved.”

But it is here in Ezekiel that I want you all to pay attention to. We are about to enter into judgment with Yehovah face-to-face. There will be no cloud to protect us. We must be Holy and obedient to stand before Him.

Ezk 20:33 As I live, says the Lord Jehovah, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, I will reign over you.

Ezk 20:34 And I will bring you out from the people, and I will gather you out of the lands in which you are scattered among them, with a mighty hand and with a stretched out arm and with fury poured out.

Ezk 20:35 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face.

Ezk 20:36 Just as I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will enter into judgment with you, says the Lord Jehovah.

Ezk 20:37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant.

Ezk 20:38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels and those who sin against Me. I will bring them out from the land where they reside, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.

Returning to Revelation 8 and looking at the word earthquake, it means a shaking, agitation, concussion; an earthquake and it can also mean a tempest as used in Mathew 8:24. According to Strong’s it can also mean a commotion as a gale of the air.

Apis is Not Hapi

As we said in a previous section of this Newsletter, Yehovah also promised to send the plagues of Egypt in the last days if we did not continue to obey Him.

Deu 28:58  If you will not observe to do all the words of this Law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, JEHOVAH YOUR GOD,

Deu 28:59  then Jehovah will make your plagues remarkable, and the plagues of your seed great and persistent plagues; with evil and long-lasting sicknesses.

Deu 28:61  Also, every sickness and every plague which is not written in the book of this Law, Jehovah will bring them on you until you are destroyed.

What does this look like for us today? What would the plagues of Egypt look like in 2024-2033?

The first thing you need to understand is that in each plague, Yehovah demonstrated that the gods worshiped at that time could do nothing to stop Him. Yehovah was showing His power over the stones to which people gave their worship. Yehovah was attacking each of the gods of Egypt, and there were 10 of them.

In the Sun boat (the sun Barque or Barque of Ages) of Ra, you can see all ten gods of Egypt with Nut the sky god arching over the other nine.

In the first plague on Egypt, Yehovah turned the water into blood.

Apis, in ancient Egyptian religion, sacred bull deity worshipped at Memphis. The cult of Apis originated at least as early as the 1st dynasty (c. 2925–c. 2775 bce). Like other bull deities, Apis was probably at first a fertility god concerned with the propagation of grain and herds, but he became associated with Ptah, the paramount deity of the Memphite area, and also with Osiris (as User-Hapi) and Sokaris, gods of the dead and of the underworld. As Apis-Atum he was associated with the solar cult and was often represented with the sun-disk between his horns.

Much of what is known about Apis comes from Greco-Roman writers. He was black and white and distinguished by special markings. Some ancient writers said that he was begotten by a ray of light from heaven, and others claimed that he was sired by an Apis bull. When a sacred bull died, the calf that was to be his successor was sought and installed in the Apieion at Memphis. His priests drew omens from his behaviour, and his oracle had a wide reputation. When an Apis bull died, it was buried with great pomp at Ṣaqqārah, in underground galleries known in the classical world as the Serapeum. It was probably in Memphis that the worship of Serapis (after the Greek form Osorapis, a combination of Osiris and Apis in the image of an eastern Greek god) arose under Ptolemy I Soter (305–282 bce). From Alexandria it spread to become one of the most widespread Eastern cults in the Roman Empire.

Serapis, Greco-Egyptian deity of the Sun first encountered at Memphis, where his cult was celebrated in association with that of the sacred Egyptian bull Apis (who was called Osorapis when deceased). He was thus originally a god of the underworld but was reintroduced as a new deity with many Hellenic aspects by Ptolemy I Soter (reigned 305–284 bce), who centered the worship of the deity at Alexandria.

The Serapeum at Alexandria was the largest and best known of the god’s temples. The cult statue there represented Serapis as a robed and bearded figure regally enthroned, his right hand resting on Cerberus (the three-headed dog who guards the gate of the underworld), while his left held an upraised scepter. Gradually Serapis became revered not only as a Sun god (“Zeus Serapis”) but also as a lord of healing and of fertility. His worship was established in Rome and throughout the Mediterranean, following the trade routes and being particularly prominent in the great commercial cities. Among the Gnostics (early Christian heretics who believed that matter is evil and the spirit is good) he was a symbol of the universal godhead. The destruction of the Serapeum at Alexandria by Theophilus, the patriarch of Alexandria, and his followers in 391 ce—together with the obliteration of other pagan temples (all with the encouragement of Emperor Theodosius I)—signaled the final triumph of Christianity not only in Egypt but throughout the Roman Empire.

In ancient Egyptian religion, Apis or Hapis,^[a] alternatively spelled Hapi-ankh, was a sacred bull or multiple sacred bulls^[1] worshiped in the Memphis region, identified as the son of Hathor, a primary deity in the pantheon of ancient Egypt. Initially, he was assigned a significant role in her worship, being sacrificed and reborn. Later, Apis also served as an intermediary between humans and other powerful deities (originally Ptah,^[1] later Osiris, then Atum).

The Apis bull was an important sacred animal to the ancient Egyptians. As with the other sacred beasts, Apis’ importance increased over the centuries. During colonization of the conquered Egypt, Greek and Roman authors had much to say about Apis, the markings by which the black calf was recognized, the manner of his conception by a ray from heaven, his house at Memphis (with a court for his deportment), the mode of prognostication from his actions, his death, the mourning at his death, his costly burial, and the rejoicings throughout the country when a new Apis was found. Auguste Mariette‘s excavation of the Serapeum of Saqqara revealed the tombs of more than sixty animals, ranging from the time of Amenhotep III to the end of the Ptolemaic dynasty. Originally, each animal was buried in a separate tomb with a chapel built above it. From Ramesses II onward, bulls were interred in interconnected underground galleries.^[2][3]

History of worship

Worship of an Apis bull, experienced by ancient Egyptians as holy, has been known since the First Dynasty in Memphis, while worship of the Apis as a proper god, at least according to Manetho‘s Aegyptiaca, seems to be a later adoption, purportedly started during the reign of king Kaiechos (possibly Nebra) of the Second Dynasty.^[4]

Apis is named on very early monuments, but little is known of the divine animal before the New Kingdom.^[2] Ceremonial burials of bulls indicate that ritual sacrifice was part of the worship of the early cow deities, Hathor and Bat, and a bull might represent her offspring, a king who became a deity after death.^{[citation needed]} He was entitled “the renewal of the life” of the Memphite deity Ptah: but after death, he became Osorapis, i.e. the Osiris Apis, just as dead humans were assimilated to Osiris, the ruler of the underworld. This Osorapis was identified with Serapis of the late Hellenistic period and may well be identical with him. Creating parallels to their own religious beliefs, ancient Greek writers identified Apis as an incarnation of Osiris, ignoring the connection with Ptah.^[2]

Apis was the most popular of three great bull cults of ancient Egypt, the others being the cults of Mnevis and Buchis. All are related to the worship of Hathor or Bat, similar primary goddesses separated by region until unification that eventually merged as Hathor. The worship of Apis was continued by the Greeks and after them by the Romans, and lasted until almost 400 CE.

I would now like to share about Hapi the Egyptian god of the Nile.

Hapi (Ancient Egyptian: ḥꜥpj) was the god of the annual flooding of the Nile in ancient Egyptian religion. The flood deposited rich silt (fertile soil) on the river’s banks, allowing the Egyptians to grow crops.^[1] Hapi was greatly celebrated among the Egyptians. Some of the titles of Hapi were “Lord of the Fish and Birds of the Marshes” and “Lord of the River Bringing Vegetation”. Hapi is typically depicted as an androgynous figure with a prominent belly and large drooping breasts, wearing a loincloth and ceremonial false beard,^[2] depicted in hieroglyphics as an intersex person.^{[3][better source needed]}

Mythology

The annual flooding of the Nile occasionally was said to be the Arrival of Hapi.^[1] Since this flooding provided fertile soil in an area that was otherwise desert, Hapi symbolised fertility. He had large female breasts because he was said to bring a rich and nourishing harvest. Due to his fertile nature he was sometimes considered the “father of the gods”,^[1] and was considered to be a caring father who helped to maintain the balance of the cosmos, the world or universe regarded as an orderly, harmonious system.^[1] He was thought to live within a cavern at the supposed source of the Nile near Aswan.^[4] The cult of Hapi was mainly located at the First Cataract named Elephantine. His priests were involved in rituals to ensure the steady levels of flow required from the annual flood. At Elephantine the official nilometer, a measuring device, was carefully monitored to predict the level of the flood, and his priests must have been intimately concerned with its monitoring.

Hapi was not regarded as the god of the Nile itself but of the inundation event.^[1] He was also considered a “friend of Geb“, the Egyptian god of the earth,^[5] and the “lord of Neper“, the god of grain.^[6]

If you are reading carefully Hapi is the god of fertility. Api is also the god of fertility.

This next article states they are not the same god, but I maintain they are and as you just saw Hapi is depicted much like the modern picture of Jesus today.

Apis was the most important and highly regarded bull deity of ancient Egypt. His original name in Egyptian was Api, Hapi, or Hep; Apis is the Greek name. He is not, however, associated with the god Hapi/Hep who was linked to the inundation and is depicted as the god of the river.

Worship of the Apis bull is recorded as early as the First Dynasty (c. 3150 – c. 2890 BCE) in ceremonies known as The Running of Apis but veneration of the bull in Egypt precedes this time, and so it is thought that Apis may be the first god of Egypt or, at least, among the first animals associated with divinity and eternity. He was originally a god of fertility, then the herald of the god Ptah but, in time, was considered Ptah incarnate. He was also, in some eras, depicted as the son of Hathor and was closely associated with her goodness and bounty.

In Exodus Yehovah demonstrated that the number one god of the Nile could not stop Him from turning the Nile into a stinking cesspool of water in which all life died.

What does that look like today in 2024?

Let me show you the news headlines from just the past few weeks and months. Yehovah is the one who controls the water. He can send the flood or He can send the drought. But no false god by the name of Apis or Hapi or any of the modern names they use can stop the destruction that Yehovah will send on those who do not obey.

Hurricane Helene was a Cat 4 hurricane killing 230 as of October 10, 2024. It was a devastating tropical cyclone that caused widespread destruction and fatalities across the Southeastern United States in late September 2024. It was the strongest hurricane on record to strike the Big Bend region of Florida, the deadliest Atlantic hurricane since Maria in 2017, and the deadliest to strike the mainland US since Katrina in 2005.^[3][4]

Late on September 26, Helene made landfall at peak intensity in the Big Bend region of Florida, near the city of Perry, with maximum sustained winds of 140 mph (220 km/h). Helene weakened as it moved quickly inland before degenerating to a post-tropical cyclone over Tennessee on September 27. The storm then stalled over the state before dissipating on September 29.

Exactly two weeks later, a Cat 5 Hurricane Milton stuck Florida again, centering around Tampa and, at the time of this writing, killed 12.

Brazil drought drops Amazon port river level to 122-year low

MANAUS, Brazil, Oct 4 (Reuters) – The river port in the Amazon rainforest’s largest city of Manaus on Friday hit its lowest level since 1902, as a drought drains waterways and snarls transport of grain exports and essential supplies that are the region’s lifeline.

Below-average rainfall – even through the rainy season – has plagued the Amazon and much of South America since last year, also feeding the worst wildfires in more than a decade in Brazil and Bolivia. Researchers say climate change is the main culprit.

 

Scientists predict the Amazon region may not fully recover moisture levels until 2026.

Last year, the drought became a humanitarian crisis, as people reliant on rivers were stranded without food, water or medicine.

This year authorities are already on alert. In hard-hit Amazonas state, at least 62 municipalities are under states of emergency with more than half a million people affected, according to the state’s civil defense corps.

“This is now the most severe drought in over 120 years of measurement at the Port of Manaus,” said Valmir Mendonca, the port’s head of operations, who said the river level is likely to keep falling for another week or two.

With the region never fully recovering due to weaker-than-usual seasonal rains, many of the impacts of the drought last year look set to repeat or reach new extremes.

The Port of Manaus measured the Rio Negro river at 12.66 meters on Friday, according to its website, surpassing the previous all-time low recorded last year and still falling rapidly.

The Rio Negro is a major tributary of the Amazon River, the world’s largest river by volume. The port sits near the “meeting of the waters” where the black water of the Negro meets the sandy-colored Solimoes, which also hit a record low this week.

Grain shipments have been halted on the Madeira River, another tributary of the Amazon, because of low water levels, a port association said last month.

Researchers are once again finding the carcasses of Amazon freshwater river dolphins, which they blame on thinning waters driving the threatened species into closer contact with humans.

 

National disaster monitoring agency Cemaden has already called the drought Brazil’s worst such event since at least the 1950s.

The drought has also sapped hydropower plants, Brazil’s main source of electricity. Energy authorities have approved bringing back daylight saving time to conserve electricity, although the measure still requires presidential approval.

The extreme weather and dryness is affecting much of South America, with the Paraguay River also at an all-time low. That river starts in Brazil and flows through Paraguay and Argentina to the Atlantic.

The same extreme heat and dryness is helping drive surging fires in the Amazon and neighboring Pantanal, the world’s largest wetlands. Bolivia is also on track to break a record for most fires ever recorded, according to data from Brazil’s space research agency.
