Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,
Last week we released a video promoting an upcoming conference in the Manila, Philippines, area. But when I went to advertise it, it was shut down. And I quote, “This promotion violates policy and can’t run. To continue, fix the policy issues.” The policy I am violating is advertising about religious issues. I cannot promote a conference in Manila through YouTube or Google Ads if there is anything about religion. When I contact Google Ads about this, my assigned representative leans in favour of LGBT rights.
So, brethren, I again need your help this week. Will all of you copy and paste the URL to your social media platform and share it?
The Conference is on Feb 9-10.
It is about to get really hot, and I am not talking about the temperature, although I will show you one article about the temperatures breaking the 1.5 degrees C the UN has set to remain below. But Yehovah is cranking things up and not just temperature-wise. This week, I want to show you something else about the 1290-day counts that come up this March 31 and April 8. While everyone else will be watching the Aleph Tav Solar eclipse, you need to keep your eye on Yehovah and what He is doing. There is a reason I have a picture of the Red Heifer on the cover. Keep reading.

There are way too many events taking place in the world right now for me to post them all in this newsletter once a week. The world temperatures are shooting through the roof. Climatic disasters are following one after another. Now Hamas entered Israel on Oct 7 and butchered 1400 people, decapitating babies, taking over 200 hostages. All of these things are leading to the 5th curse of famine War and Plague. I am trying to keep you updated so that you are aware. But I am now doing so daily on Telegram.

Torah Portion
Torah Portions
We read through the entire Torah along with the Prophets and the New Testament, once over the course of 3 1/2 years. Or according to the Sabbatical Cycle which means we read it all twice over a 7-year period. This allows us to cover more in-depth rather than being rushed to cover as much as is covered on an annual basis. We allow all to comment and take part in the discussions.
Septennial Torah Portion
If you go to Torah Portion at our archived section, you can then go to the 7th year which is the 7th year of the Sabbatical Cycle, the one we are in now, as we state at the top of every News Letter. There you can scroll down to the proper date, and see that this Shabbat we could very well be midrashing about:
Deuteronomy 31-32
2 Chronicle 30-36
Revelation 15-21
As we approach the end of the year we are doubling up on our Torah Portions so that we can fit them all in before the year ends. We thought we had an Adar Bet and four more weeks. I am not sure we do so we are going to double up.
If you missed last week’s exciting discoveries as we studied that section, you can go and watch past Shabbats on our media section.
Join Our Sabbath Meetings
Join Our Sabbath Meetings
There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.
What are we doing and why do we teach this way?
We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.
The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.
Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.
Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.
Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.
We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.
We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.
Jas 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.
We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.
We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.
Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers songs and teaching from this hour.
Shabbat Services will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.
On the Holy Day, Shavuot, we will be having two meetings. One at 10 AM Eastern and the afternoon will be 2 PM Eastern. Look forward to seeing you all there.
We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.
Joseph Dumond is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

The Sabbatical Year Ends Aviv 1
The Sabbatical Year Ends Aviv 1
This means that once we know when the 1st day of the New Year is, you can begin planting. But because we do not know whether or not the barley will be ripe at any particular time, we must wait to discover if we have a 12th or 13th month this year. It does not matter whether you are in the southern or northern hemisphere. Aviv 1 is the same date around the world. Yehovah’s laws do not change and we all must be diligent in obeying them if we desire to break the curse that are now upon the world. Obey so you and your family can be free of the chains of sin and know His Freedom.
The Year goes from Aviv to Aviv. But if we do not have Barley for Wave Sheaf Day, then this next month will be the 13th. Wait until Wave Sheaf Day to know for sure what to do. Be patient.
Exo 12:2 This month shall be to you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year to you.
You are not to plant or harvest in this Sabbatical year from Aviv 1, 2023, to Aviv 1, 2024.
You are not to plant.
Lev 25:4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest to the land, a sabbath for Jehovah. You shall neither sow your field, nor prune your vineyard.
You are not to harvest.
Lev 25:5 You shall not reap that which grows of its own accord of your harvest, neither gather the grapes of your undressed vine. It is a year of rest to the land.
You are to stock up on food in the sixth year.
Lev 25:20 And if you shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? Behold, we shall not sow nor gather in our increase!
Lev 25:21 Then I will command My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.
Lev 25:22 And you shall sow the eighth year, and eat of old fruit until the ninth year; until its fruits come in, you shall eat the old fruit.
You are to read the Entire Torah on the 1st day of Sukkot in the Sabbatical Year.
Deu 31:9 And Moses wrote this Law and delivered it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who carried the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, and to all the elders of Israel.
Deu 31:10 And Moses commanded them, saying: At the end of seven years, at the set time of the year of release, in the Feast of Tabernacles,
Deu 31:11 when all Israel has come to appear before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose, you shall read this Law before all Israel in their hearing.
Deu 31:12 Gather the people, men and women and the little ones, and your stranger who is within your gates, so that they may hear and that they may learn and fear Jehovah your God, and be careful to do all the words of this Law,
Deu 31:13 and that their sons who have not known may hear and learn to fear Jehovah your God, as long as you live in the land where you go over Jordan to possess it.
You are to forgive debts in the Sabbatical Year.
Deu 15:1 At the end of every seven years you shall make a release.
Deu 15:2 And this is the manner of the release. Every man who has a loan to his neighbor shall release it. He shall not exact it from his neighbor, or from his brother, because it is called Jehovah’s release.
The Barley Report
The Barley Report
Becca Biderman reported on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, the following.
There is a slim chance this will be a 12 month year. But a chance nonetheless.I did find an amazing amount of super young barley with heads from white to blooming to just beginning to tip their heads. Stay tuned. I’ll try to get a video up but don’t think it will happen today, likely tomorrow.
The 1st month, or the 13th, begins this coming Sunday, February 10, after sunset and Monday, February 11, 2024. Begin to plan on how you are going to remove all the leaven from your homes, cars, and work areas. If this is a 12 month year then you will only have two weeks to get ready.
If I get any reports from Becca, I will update this post right here. So check back from time to time to see what news we have discovered.
The New Moon Report
The New Moon Report
As you can see from Torah Calendar there is no possible chance for the moon to be seen on the 29th day of the month. Therefore, it is a 30-day month by default, making the 1st day of the Aviv or the 1st day of Adar Bet Monday, February 12, beginning the night before after the sunsets.
If we look at the moon on Sunday night and then check to see if it is possible to be seen the night before you can see from Torah Calendar’s charts it is not possible.
The Perpetual Calendar
The Perpetual Calendar
We have available from our website a calendar you can use to keep track of the days of the month based on when the Barley is ripe and when the moon is sighted. ALl you have to do is download it. https://sightedmoon.com/perpetual-calendar/
With the new year about to begin, you can learn about the calendar as you record it. This is a great tool to have and it is free to anyone who wants it.
It's Getting Hotter, And I Am Not Talking About The Temperature
It’s Getting Hotter,
And I Am Not Talking About The Temperature
More Abomination News
We have been teaching you about Daniel 9 and how the middle of the week was the middle of this 70th Jubilee which was 2020.
We then showed you how the countdown for the 1290 days until the abomination began from when WHO declared a worldwide lockdown on March 11, 2020. It was only after October 7 that we realized it was March 25, 2020 when the 1290 day count began when Prime Minister Netanyahu declared a lockdown in Israel and the bullocks of their lips was stopped.
After October 7, 2023, we then realized that Prime Minister Netanyahu also declared lockdowns for Israel on September 18 and 25, 2020, as well as December 27, 2020. When we count 1290 days from each of these dates, we arrive at March 31, April 8 and July 9, 2024, respectively. With the exception of the December 27, 2020, date, which we only just learned of recently, we have explained all of this in our book The Abomination That Makes Desolate The Epilogue. We did not change our content, which was aimed at the September 22, 2023, date. We did show what happened in the epilogue section, which is now added to the book.
There are now a few other things to keep in mind as these dates draw closer with each passing day.
The 5th seal is it already happening? Not the way I would have expected it, but….
Rev 6:9 And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held.
Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Until when, Master, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?
Rev 6:11 And white robes were given to each one of them. And it was said to them that they should rest yet for a little time, until both their fellow servants and their brothers (those about to be killed as they were ) should have their number made complete.
The Genocide of ‘The Sunday People’: 365,000,000 Christians Persecuted Worldwide
by Raymond Ibrahim • February 7, 2024 at 5:00 am
- Overall, the global persecution of Christians remains higher than ever, with 365 million believers suffering “high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith.”
- Christians suffer “extreme levels of persecution” in the top 13 of the 50 nations. They are: 1) North Korea, 2) Somalia, 3) Libya, 4) Eritrea, 5) Yemen, 6) Nigeria, 7) Pakistan, 8) Sudan, 9) Iran, 10) Afghanistan, 11) India, 12) Syria, 13) and Saudi Arabia.
- In the worst of the Muslim nations, Christianity has been so stamped out over the years that there are no indigenous Christians to persecute, only converts—apostates, who, according to most interpretations of Islamic law, deserve death.
We continue to watch for the 6th seal. I expect this one to be that trumpet to wake up all 10 virgins. October 7, 2023 although a wake up, still has many not turning back to Yehovah, but the 6th seal most certainly would.
Rev 6:12 And when He had opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake. And the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.
Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs when she is shaken by a mighty wind.
Rev 6:14 And the heaven departed like a scroll when it is rolled together. And every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every freeman, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains.
Rev 6:16 And they said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;
Rev 6:17 for the great day of His wrath has come, and who will be able to stand?
The Times of Israel reported on February 11, 2024, that Iran was just 60 days away from building a Nuclear bomb, according to US officials. That would be about April 11, 2024.
Israel is all but defeated Hamas, destroying 18 of their 24 military battalions. Once they have completed the war there will be hundreds of thousands of young soldiers who must cleanse before coming back into society.
Numbers 5:2 Command the sons of Israel that they put out of the camp every leper and everyone that has an issue, and whoever is defiled by a dead body.
Num 31:19 And stay outside the camp seven days. Whosoever has killed any person, and whoever has touched any dead one, purify yourselves and your captives on the third day and on the seventh day.
Num 31:20 And purify all clothing, and all that is made of skin, and all work of goats’ hair, and all things made of wood.
I want you to pay close attention to the following verses and especially verse 17.
Numbers 19:11 He who touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.
12 He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean. But if he does not purify himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.
13 Whoever touches the dead body of any man that is dead, and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of Jehovah. And that soul shall be cut off from Israel. Because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is still upon him.
14 This is the law when a man dies in a tent. All that come into the tent, and all in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.
15 And every open vessel which has no covering bound upon it, it is unclean.
16 And whoever touches one that is killed with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.
17 And for the unclean they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of cleansing for sin, and running water shall be put to it in a vessel.
18 And a clean person shall take hyssop and dip in the water, and sprinkle upon the tent and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one killed, or one dead, or a grave.
19 And the clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day. And on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water. And he shall be clean at evening.
20 But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Jehovah. The water of separation has not been sprinkled upon him. He is unclean.
21 And it shall be a perpetual law to them, that he who sprinkles the water of separation shall wash his clothes. And he that touches the water of separation shall be unclean until evening.
22 And whatever the unclean touches shall be unclean. And the soul who touches shall be unclean until evening.
One of the Hamas people claimed that they started the war because of the red cows Israel had. It did not receive much news, and I have had a very hard time finding the source. It was a rambling of one of the heads of Hamas justifying their actions. No one paid any attention to it because it was so ridiculous, but that one mention of the red cows has stuck with me.
Shortly after the October 7 massacre, over 360,000 young men came home to fight. How will these soldiers become clean, having killed what is reported to be about 25,000 in Gaza? They now have 5 Red Heifers ready and waiting to be offered to cleanse the priesthood and the temple implements.
With Passover in Israel beginning on Monday, April 22, 2024, and ending on April 30, 2024, they have a genuine need to cleanse the over 1/4 million soldiers… and they have the heifers to do so. Israel has also come to realize from this war that the world at large hates all things Jewish. I say this because they will no longer care what the world thinks they can or cannot do. They will do as they now see fit.
We also have the Shabbat Parah 2024 / שַׁבָּת פּרה 5784, which is the Torah portion about the Shabbat of the Red Heifer. Shabbat Parah for Hebrew Year 5784 begins at sundown on and ends at nightfall on . This corresponds to Parashat Tzav.
Shabbat Parah (“Sabbath [of the] red heifer” שבת פרה) takes place on the Shabbat before Shabbat HaChodesh, in preparation for Passover. Numbers 19:1-22 describes the parah adumah (“red heifer”) in the Jewish temple as part of the manner in which the kohanim and the Jewish people purified themselves so that they would be ready (“pure”) to sacrifice the korban Pesach.
Laws for Purification
Num 19:1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron saying,
Num 19:2 This is the ordinance of the law which Jehovah has commanded, saying, Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring you a red heifer without blemish, in which there is no blemish, on which no yoke ever came.
Num 19:3 And you shall give her to Eleazar the priest that he may bring her forth outside the camp. And he shall kill her before his face.
Num 19:4 And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times.
Num 19:5 And he shall burn the heifer in his sight, her skin and her flesh and her blood with her dung, he shall burn.
Num 19:6 And the priest shall take cedar-wood and hyssop and scarlet, and throw it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.
Num 19:7 Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water. And afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the evening.
Num 19:8 And he who burns her shall wash his clothes in water and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the evening.
Num 19:9 And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up outside the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the sons of Israel for a water of separation. It is a cleansing for sin.
Num 19:10 And he who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening. And it shall be to the sons of Israel, and to the stranger that lives among them, for a statute forever.
Num 19:11 He who touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.
Num 19:12 He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean. But if he does not purify himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.
Num 19:13 Whoever touches the dead body of any man that is dead, and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of Jehovah. And that soul shall be cut off from Israel. Because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is still upon him.
Num 19:14 This is the law when a man dies in a tent. All that come into the tent, and all in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.
Num 19:15 And every open vessel which has no covering bound upon it, it is unclean.
Num 19:16 And whoever touches one that is killed with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.
Num 19:17 And for the unclean they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of cleansing for sin, and running water shall be put to it in a vessel.
Num 19:18 And a clean person shall take hyssop and dip in the water, and sprinkle upon the tent and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one killed, or one dead, or a grave.
Num 19:19 And the clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day. And on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water. And he shall be clean at evening.
Num 19:20 But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Jehovah. The water of separation has not been sprinkled upon him. He is unclean.
Num 19:21 And it shall be a perpetual law to them, that he who sprinkles the water of separation shall wash his clothes. And he that touches the water of separation shall be unclean until evening.
Num 19:22 And whatever the unclean touches shall be unclean. And the soul who touches shall be unclean until evening.
Of the five Red Hiefers brought to Israel in 2022, one was disqualified in 2023. These remaining four are of age. They only need one, and rumours are growing that one will be offered before Passover 2024.
So, that is one thing I wanted to point out. This is on top of the Aleph Tav Solar Eclipse on April 8, preceded by Easter Sunday on March 31. Will the 6th seal take place at this time?
We also have the 1st Trumpet plague, which we expect to begin this year as well.
Rev 8:1 And when He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour.
Rev 8:2 And I saw the seven angels who stood before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
Rev 8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer. And many incenses were given to him, so that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints on the golden altar before the throne.
Rev 8:4 And the smoke of the incense which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God from the angel’s hand.
Rev 8:5 And the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it into the earth. And voices and thunderings and lightnings and an earthquake occurred.
The Seven Trumpets
Rev 8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
Rev 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mixed with blood, and they were cast on the earth. And the third part of trees was burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
We discussed this last week, so I will not repeat it here.
But the one thing we have not considered in this equation is Ramadan.
Ramadan is expected to begin on Monday, March 11, and continue through Wednesday, April 10, ending in the celebratory Eid al-Fitr.
The day changes annually because it is set using the Islamic calendar, which follows the lunar cycle. The crescent moon sighting ultimately determines the day. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic, or Hijri, calendar.
What is Ramadan?
Ramadan is a holy month dedicated to fasting, time with loved ones, reflection, charity and prayer. Muslims believe it was during this month God gave the Qur’an to Prophet Muhammad and told him he was in charge of carrying God’s message.
Fasting is one of the pillars of Islam and an important part of Ramadan. Muslims who have reached puberty and who are physically capable, fast from dawn until sunset and abstain from liquids, food, sexual activities (couples are allowed to engage at night once the fast is broken), gossip, negative thoughts and bad intentions. They break their fast after an evening prayer with iftār, a meal often celebrated with friends, family and community.
The holiest night of Ramadan is Laylat Al-Qadr, which occurs during the last 10 days of the month. It’s expected to occur on Friday, April 5 this year. Laylat al-Qadr is known as the “Night of Power” and is said to be when the Angel Jibril (Gabriel) revealed the Qur’an’s first verses to the Prophet Muhammad. It is observed as a night for reflection, prayer and good deeds.
Notice that the last ten days of the month are the most holy. These coincide with March 31 to April 10, the two dates which are 1290 days from the two lockdowns of September 18 and 25 in 2020.
We have our Passover dates potentially as of Monday, February 26, 2024, with Wave Sheaf Day and the last day of Unleavened Bread on Sunday, March 3, 2024
We have the month of Ramadan beginning on Monday, March 11, 2024.
We have Shabbat Para, the reading of the Torah Portion about the red Hiefer starting Friday, March 29 and Shabbat, March 30, 2024.
We have the 1290-day count from the lockdown of September 18, 2020, ending on March 31, 2024
We have Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024,
We have the 1290-day count from the September 25, 2020, lockdown, ending on April 8, 2024.
We have the solar eclipse Aleph Tav over the USA on April 8, 2024.
We have the end of Ramadan or Eid al-Fitr on Tuesday evening, April 9, and Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
We have Iran potentially ready with a Nuclear Bomb by about April 11, 2024, according to US officials.
We have the Jewish Passover on April 22, 2024, with over 1/4 million soldiers in need of cleansing.
And lest I forget, my wife’s birthday is April 23.
Everyone knows Yehovah, now we are about to find out if Yehovah knows you after all He does tell someone I never knew you. Dont let that be you.
Deleavening Your Home
Here is a reminder from Chabad.org about how to go about cleaning your house of leaven. In the comments, some have said they only have to remove the bread on the 14th of Aviv. The more you put into the cleansing of your home the more you learn about the cleansing of your soul. It is about you learning a real-life lesson by doing a commandment. I have been cleaning out my sins for some time now and I will not leave it until the last minute on the 14th.
Cleaning the House
Simply stated (though not so easily done) — give your home a thorough, top-to-bottom, cleaning. Vacuum the carpets and floors, wipe clean the cupboards and bookshelves. Make sure you get into all those hard-to-reach places: under the sofa cushions, the spaces between the floorboards. Move aside furniture and kitchen appliances to get behind and underneath. Bottom line: if that proverbial cookie crumb could be hiding there, go after it!
As each area of the home gets cleaned, make sure that everyone knows that it’s “kosher for Passover” and absolutely off-limits for any food to be brought in there. Practical advice: start with the bedrooms, then proceed with the living room and other common rooms, leaving the dining room and kitchen for last, so that you can use these spaces for eating chametz as close as possible to the “deadline.”
Other places that need to be cleaned: office, car, pocketbook — any space that is yours by ownership, lease, or right of use.
Places you don’t have to clean: a) Rooms and areas where you’re absolutely certain that no food was ever brought. b) Rooms and areas that will be sold (see step 5).
Cleaning Checklist
The following is a checklist of all areas that should be searched well and thoroughly cleaned from all traces of chametz.

Deleavening Your Home
It is now just past the full moon. In two months time we will begin to celebrate Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread. We read in Mt 24:45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
So with the Passover season approaching and with many new people learning the Torah and wanting to keep the Holy Days we shall begin now to teach on these.
Once again I am telling you to turn off Oprah and Dr. Phil and to start to read you bible. There is nothing on TV worth watching. Many of you are sharing this News letter and encouraging others to read it and to prove those things said here true or false. I do thank you. But in reality it is those who have come here and learnt the truth that are thanking you. You have saved their lives.
But once you have been turned on to the truth, do not just read what is written here. Search other sites and other groups and learn also from them, what is true and what is not true.
I keep telling you how little time is left and so I am trying to give you as much information as I can without you being over whelmed. Turn off the TV and this will help.
We now have just two months to Passover.
Immediately after the Passover comes a festival that shows us the next step in the plan of Yahweh. After Yahshua is sacrificed as the Passover Lamb, and we have been forgiven for our sins, how do we continue to avoid sin, since we must go on living in newness of life? How do we live as Yahweh’s redeemed people? We find the remarkable answer in the symbolism of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
When Yahweh freed Israel from slavery in Egypt, He told His people that for “seven days you shall eat unleavened bread” (Exodus 12:15). Verse 39 further explains: “And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they had brought out of Egypt; for it was not leavened, because they were driven out of Egypt and could not wait, nor had they prepared provisions for themselves.”
The leavening process, which makes bread rise, takes time. The Israelites had no time to spare when they left Egypt, so they baked and ate flat bread. What started out as a necessity continued for a week. Yahweh appropriately named this time the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Leviticus 23:6), or Days of Unleavened Bread (Acts 12:3).
When Yeshua came to earth as a human, He observed this seven-day festival’ sometimes called the Feast of Passover by the Jews because of the proximity of the Passover to the Days of Unleavened Bread. Yeshua kept it as a child and later as an adult (Luke 2:41; Matthew 26:17). The early Church, kept it as well.
Yahweh gave His earliest instructions concerning this festival to the Israelites as they prepared to leave Egypt. “This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD’ a lasting ordinance. For seven days you are to eat bread made without yeast. On the first day remove the yeast from your houses, for whoever eats anything with yeast in it from the first day through the seventh must be cut off from Israel. On the first day hold a sacred assembly, and another one on the seventh day. Do no work at all on these days, except to prepare food for everyone to eat-that is all you may do” (Exodus 12:14-16, New International Version).
This is where we get the expression of spring cleaning from De leavening our homes.
Each year as the Israelites observed this feast, it reminded them of Yahweh’s deliverance of their forefathers from Egypt. The Creator instructed, “Celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread, because it was on this very day that I brought your divisions out of Egypt” (verse 17, NIV). The exodus from Egypt remains as a foundational reason for observing this feast today. Just as Yahweh delivered ancient Israel, He delivers us from our sins and difficulties.
Now notice Yeshua’s teaching about leaven, which expands the meaning of this feast.
During Yahshua’s ministry He performed two miracles in which a few fish and loaves of bread fed thousands of people. After one of these incidents, when His disciples had gone around the Sea of Galilee, they forgot to bring bread with them. So Yeshua told them, “Watch out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
The disciples thought Yeshua was referring to their lack of bread. However, He was using the occasion to teach them by calling on the symbolism of leaven. Yeshua asked them, “How is it that you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Then the disciples “understood that He did not say to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees” (Matthew 16:5-12, NASB).
Some of the members of the religious establishment of Yeshua’s day appeared to be righteous, yet they secretly practiced sinful behavior. Yeshua let them know He knew their hearts. They may have appeared righteous to other people, “but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness” (Matthew 23:28).
The Days of Unleavened Bread remind us that with Yahweh’s help we must remove and avoid all types of sin “symbolized by leaven” in all areas of our life.
Symbolically we do this by cleaning our homes and our places of business and our cars and removing any bread or bread products that contain leaven or yeast from them.
During the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the apostle Paul taught the same spiritual lessons as Yeshua, invoking the comparison of sin to leaven. In the context of reprimanding the Corinthian congregation for its divisions, jealousies and tolerance of sexual misconduct, Paul wrote: “Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Yeshua, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” (1 Corinthians 5:6-8).
The church at Corinth was obviously and unmistakably keeping the Feast of Unleavened Bread, to which Paul repeatedly alluded. However, Paul used the Corinthians’ faithful obedience in keeping the feast physically (removing leaven from their homes) as a basis to encourage them to celebrate this feast with proper understanding of its spiritual intent.
Today removing leaven from our homes for seven days reminds us that we, too, through prayer and Yahweh’s help and understanding, must recognize, expel and avoid sin. The Feast of Unleavened Bread is thus a time of personal reflection. We should meditate on our attitudes and conduct and ask Yahweh to help us recognize and overcome our shortcomings.
Paul spoke of this much-needed self-reflection in 2 Corinthians 13:5 when he told the Corinthian church: “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Yeshua the Messiah is in you, unless indeed you are disqualified.”
Paul explained the significance of the phrase “Yeshua the Messiah is in you” in Galatians 2:20: “I have been crucified with Yeshua; it is no longer I who live, but Yeshua lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of Yahweh, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
These seven days of self-examination prove invaluable in helping us to devote our lives to Yahweh and Yeshua. This week-long period also pictures our eventual triumph over sin. As Yahweh delivered the ancient Israelites from enslavement to Egypt, so He delivers us from our enslavement to sin (Romans 6:12-18).
We learn by doing. We learn spiritual lessons by doing physical things. Performing the task of deleavening our homes reminds us to vigilantly watch for sinful thoughts and actions so we can avoid them. Yahweh knows that, in spite of our good intentions, we all sin.
Many years after his conversion, Paul described the powerful human tendency to sin. “I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of Yahweh according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank Yahweh-through Yeshua the Messiah! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of Yahweh, but with the flesh the law of sin” (Romans 7:21-25).
Paul knew life itself is a battle with sin. The Bible speaks of “the sin which so easily ensnares us” (Hebrews 12:1). We have our own part to play in struggling to overcome sin. Yet, paradoxically, we must rely on Yahweh to help us. Paul explained this to the Philippians by telling them to “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is Yahweh who works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:12-13, King James Version).
Our observance of the Days of Unleavened Bread helps us realize our need for Yeshua’s help in overcoming our weaknesses. Yet this feast is certainly a time for rejoicing because Yeshua freely gives us the help we need. Yeshua, the Lamb of Yahweh, was sacrificed for the forgiveness of our sins, thus unleavening, or cleansing, our lives. He continues to help us live obediently through Yahweh’s Spirit dwelling in us.
Paul tells us in Ro 2:13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified;
James tells us it is the doers of the law who will be justified. Jas 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
Let’s read what James also has to say about doing things.
James 2:14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your F6 works, and I will show you my faith by my F7 works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe–and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? F8 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” F9 And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Some brethren do not believe we should keep the days of Unleaveded bread. Some do but they say you do not have to remove the leaven from your homes.
The bible says we do have to keep this time for ever, and that you do have to remove the leaven, and that by doing so you are acting out your faith by your works.
I am sharing this message now with you, so that you have time to begin to clean one room or two a week before the Days arrive in about two months time. You will see as you move your frig and stove how the crud has piled up over time and how hard it is to remove. This is the same as sin sneaking in to your lives and you not knowing it until one day it is exposed. Then you see how hard it is to remove or correct that sin. It is not easy.
You will learn by doing. Please consider doing the necessary work in cleaning your home so that you will be ready for the Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread.
Always remember that as you move closer to Yahweh, He moves closer to you. When you stop so does He and he waits for you to make the next move.
The more you learn and practice the more that will be revealed to you. But if you do nothing you learn nothing.
So may your spring cleaning be bountiful in teaching you many lessons from the scriptures.
Adar Bet Do We or Don’t We
This is a repeat article about adding a 13th month. We go through this decision process every so often and this is a good article for those who are new and a review for those who are old. LOL. It helps to understand how the calendar works.
As of this Newsletter, Feb 3, 2024, we have the barley just coming out of the boot or heading, as the Zadok chart below shows us. With the new moon coming up on February 11-12, this still means we have, as of right now, 28 days until a potential Wave Sheaf Day on March 3, 2024. With the barley now heading, we add these 28 days to 51-59 in the grain charts below and they add up to 79-87. This is the dough stage of the barley.
If we wait until next month by adding an Adar Bet, then March 31 is Wave Sheaf Day and that is 57 days from this Shabbat. Adding 57 more days to the 51-59 heading stage on the Zadok charts gives a total of 108-117 days for the Barley. That is about 17 or 18 days past the ripening stage.
So, if we wait, it will no longer be the month of “Green Ears” but the month of brown ears or shattering barley.
I am not telling you when to keep Passover, but just laying out all those things I am wrestling with to determine when to keep Passover.
Last year, we were right on time, and we had peaceful and joyful Holy Days for all three seasons. We were blessed. On the other hand, those who kept them a month later were caught in a war with Hamas and Hezbollah, sending thousands of rockets into Israel from both directions. It was chaotic. Just as on October 7, those on the Hillel calendar were met with rocket fire, and this was 1290 days after Netanyahu declared a state of lockdown on Israel in 2020; he did so again on Sept 18 and Sept 25 as well as Dec 27, 2020. Those days, if they are part of the Abominations 1290 day counts, end up being March 31, 2024, April 8, and July 5, 2024.
After all of this is done, you are to judge angels. Now, are you ready to decide when to keep the Holy Days? You now have all the information I have. What are you going to do this year in 2024?
Adar Bet Do We or Don’t We
Published Fed 10, 2020
Last year, there was another huge controversy about whether the Barley was to be Aviv at the beginning of the first month or by the wave sheaf day. Many of our friends chose to have the barley reading by the end of the 12th month.
Then there are those of us who chose the latter. That is the Barley has to be ripe by Wave Sheaf Day. I believe that the only reason we look for the barley to be Aviv is so that we can make the wave sheaf offering. Last year, we had many reports that the barley was indeed ripe on wave sheaf day last year. This caused a split amongst those of us who go by the crescent moon to begin the month, and it grieves all of us when this happens.
We have now begun the 12th month. Will the Barley be Aviv in 6 weeks time from now? I have not heard any reports from the land at this time, so I do not know for sure.
I am confident that we will add a 13th month this year.
You will hear people talking about the Barley being in various stages. Look at the chart below. If the barley is in the clear liquid to the doughy stage, then you know that in about 21 days’ time, the barley will be ripe enough to be roasted or caramelized.
Lev 2:1 And when anyone will offer a food offering to Jehovah, his offering shall be of fine flour. And he shall pour oil on it and put frankincense on it.
Lev 2:2 And he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons, the priests. And he shall take out of it his handful of flour and its oil, with all its frankincense. And the priest shall burn the memorial of it on the altar, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Jehovah.
Lev 2:3 And the rest of the food offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’, most holy of the offerings of Jehovah made by fire.
Lev 2:4 And if you bring a sacrifice of a food offering baked in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
Lev 2:5 And if your offering is a food offering on the griddle, your offering shall be of fine flour unleavened, mixed with oil.
Lev 2:6 You shall break it in pieces and pour oil on it. It is a food offering.
Lev 2:7 And if your offering is a food offering in the frying pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
Lev 2:8 And you shall bring the food offering that is made of these things to Jehovah. And when it is presented to the priest, he shall bring it to the altar.
Lev 2:9 And the priest shall take from the food offering a memorial of it, and shall burn it on the altar. It is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Jehovah.
Lev 2:10 And that which is left of the food offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons: it is most holy of the offerings of Jehovah made by fire.
Lev 2:11 Any food offering which you shall bring to Jehovah shall not be made with leaven. For you shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of Jehovah made by fire.
Lev 2:12 As an offering of the firstfruits, you shall bring them to Jehovah. But they shall not be burned on the altar for a sweet savor.
Lev 2:13 And every sacrifice of your food offering shall you season with salt. And you shall not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your food offering. You shall offer salt with all your offerings.
Lev 2:14 And if you bring a food offering of your firstfruits to Jehovah, green ears roasted by fire, grains of a garden, you shall bring near for a food offering your firstfruits,
Lev 2:15 And you shall put oil on it and lay frankincense on it. It is a food offering.
Lev 2:16 And the priest shall burn it as incense with its memorial offering from its grains and from its oil, besides all its frankincense, a fire offering to Jehovah.
(Note what stage the barley is when you are told that it is in the boot. See the chart above.)
Take note of the condition of the food offering. It has to be made into fine flour. Or it can be roasted by fire. IF you harvest the barley when it is in the milk stage, then when you roast it to get the water out, there is no grain from which you can make flour. If it is in the dough stage, you can then roast it and carmelize it to make that your offering or have it become dry enough to make it into fine flour for an unleavened cake offering.
Whether or not the Barley is ripe at the end of the 12th month does not matter. You are not preparing the offering at the end of the 12th month. You prepare it after the Sabbath, after the sun has set on Wave Sheaf Day in the night. Depending on when Wave Sheaf Day falls, you have between 14 days and 21 days for the barley to grow and mature from the end of the 12th month.
If the barley is not ripe enough by Wave Sheaf Day, then an Adar bet is declared. That is, a second month of Adar, or a 13th month so that the barley has 30 more days to develop.
The History of the 19-year Metonic Cycle
The History of the 19-year Metonic Cycle
The Barley and Why We Search For It
We have been explaining the history of the calendar for the past several newsletters. We have shown you how the crescent moon has been in use since at least Noah and was not changed until Rome instituted the Solar calendar.
We have also shown you how Roman persecution drove the remaining Jews out of the land of Israel. This, in turn, caused Rabbi Hillel, the Nasi, to create and instruct all of the Jews of that time to use a calculated calendar to determine the dates of the holy days.
They had to do this because they did not have anyone to witness the new crescent moon.
Having understood this history and how we arrived at this point, you should be capable of understanding that with no witnesses to sight the moon, you also do not have any witnesses to search for and determine when the barley would be ready to begin the year.
This then led to the Metonic Cycles being implemented in order to keep the Holy Days in their proper seasons.
Last week, we explained the importance of understanding what the barley represented in the plan of Salvation. The barley represented the first Saints raised from the grave as told in Matt 27.
Mat 27:51 And see, the veil of the Dwelling Place was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth was shaken, and the rocks were split,
Mat 27:52 and the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the set-apart ones who had fallen asleep were raised,
Mat 27:53 and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection, they went into the set-apart city and appeared to many.
This is a HUGE understanding in Yehovah’s plan of Salvation. HUGE!!
This understanding helps you know why we use the barley for the Passover season and why we use wheat for the Shavuot season.
The barley represented a resurrection of the Saints at that time in 31 CE. This then shows us that the wheat represents another resurrection of all the Saints who have lived and died since 31 CE up until Shavuot, which I believe will take place in 2033 at the end of the Great Tribulation.
The book of Revelation then shows you that at the end of the 7th millennium, the one that begins in the year 2045, all those who have died since Adam and not obeyed will be raised and judged at that time. This resurrection is shown to us in the harvest of all the fall fruits and vegetables at Sukkot each year
Lev 23:10 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ěl, and you shall say to them, ‘When you come into the land which I give you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest to the priest.
Lev 23:14 And you shall eat neither bread, nor parched grain, nor green ears, until the same day, until you have brought an offering to your God. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
Unique among offerings in the Temple, the Omer offering was brought with great fanfare. This is how Maimonides describes it:
On the Friday before the Sabbath that fell during the Days of Unleavened Bread during the season of Passover, the agents of the court would go out to the field and tie the barley into bundles while it was still attached to the ground so that it would be easy to reap. After the Sabbath was ended, the Sabbath during the Days of Unleavened Bread, all of the inhabitants of all the neighbouring villages would gather so that it would be reaped with much fanfare. They would have three men reap three se’ah of barley in three baskets with three sickles.
When it became dark, the reapers would ask those standing in attendance:
“Has the sun set?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Has the sun set?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Has the sun set?” They would answer: “Yes.”
“Is this a sickle?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Is this a sickle?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Is this a sickle?” They would answer: “Yes.”
“Is this a basket?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Is this a basket?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Is this a basket?” They would answer: “Yes.”
Afterwards, they would ask:
“Should I reap?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Should I reap?” They would answer: “Yes.” “Should I reap?” They would answer: “Yes.”3
After reaping, they would bring the barley to the Temple courtyard, where it would be left to stand overnight and early in the morning, they would begin to process and prepare the barley for the offering that Sunday morning.
The barley was then beaten because the heads would still be green, winnowed and then roasted over the fire in a cylinder to remove the remaining water from the kernels. The kernels were then spread out in the Temple courtyard and the wind wafted through it. The barley was then brought to a mill and ground to produce three se’ah (approximately 6.5 gal.), and after it had been sifted with 13 sifters, an issaron (one-tenth) was removed.
This issaron of fine barley flour was taken and mixed with oil, and a handful of frankincense was placed upon it. It was waved in the eastern portion of the Temple courtyard in all four directions—up, down, right and left. It was then brought close to the tip of the southwest corner of the altar like the other meal offerings. A handful of the meal was taken and offered on the altar’s pyre. The remainder was eaten by the priests like the remainder of all other meal offerings.
This is Maimonides, who tells us the procedure for this wave offering.
Again, let us review which part of the Barley we are to offer up here.
Lev 23:10 Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap the harvest of it, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest.
Lev 23:11 And he shall wave the sheaf before Jehovah to be received for you. On the next day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
It is to be the FIRST Fruits of the crops. A Sheaf of the barley. The first fruits. Not the second or the third or the last fruits. It is to be the very first fruits.
This is why we search for the first fruits. This why we go out and check the fields and see what condition they are in. This is why we become experts in the ripening process of the barley and know how many days it takes for the barley to go from the boot stage to the soft dough stage.
Once it is in the dough stage, it can then ripen overnight once it is cut.
We tend to look for the barley towards the end of the 12th month. Then we can guesstimate if it will be ready in time for the Days of Unleavened Bread and Wave Sheaf Day.
But what if we are wrong and the barley is not ready by Passover when we thought it would be? This is when an extra month is then added in to give the barley another 30 days to get ready. But none can be harvested during these 30 days if it becomes ripe earlier than expected. This is why getting the barley at the proper stage is so crucial.
To present what is not the first fruits would be a sin before Yehovah. To wait would cause the farmers to potentially lose the crop as it reseeds itself while we waited for the wave sheaf day ceremony. Only after that could the rest of the grains be harvested and eaten.
Lev 23:14And you shall eat neither bread, nor parched grain, nor green ears, until the same day, until you have brought an offering to your God. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
Do you see the importance of this day yet?
We are also told the day we are to put the cycle to the grain. It is the very same day that the wave offering is conducted.
Lev 23:15And you shall count to you from the next day after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete.
Lev 23:16To the next day after the seventh sabbath you shall number fifty days. And you shall offer a new food offering to Jehovah.
Now read this same command in Deut.
Deu 16:9 You shall count seven weeks to yourselves. Begin to count the seven weeks from the time you began to put the sickle to the grain.
This is telling you that after the Sabbath, when the grain is cut, which is the first day of the week, that this is when you are to begin your count to Shavuot. And at this time, they begin to cut the barley, on this first day of the week after the sun has set at the end of the Sabbath.
The barley represents those Saint who came out of the grave after the Sabbath (sunset began the first day) and went into Jerusalem and were seen by many.
5859 Or 5860 That is the Question & Why Not 5784
5859 Or 5860 That is the Question & Why Not 5784
The year 5784 According to Judah
This year, on the Jewish calendar at the Feast of Trumpets in 2023, it became the year 5784 since the creation. Many people look at this and think that we have 216 years until the 6000 years and then go back to sleep. But is this correct?
Here at sightedmoon.com, we are saying that the year is, in actuality, 5860 starting at Aviv 1 and that it changes on Aviv 1 each year according to Exodus 12:2
Exo 12:2 This month shall be to you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year to you.
At Aviv in 2024 it will be the year 5860. So we will always be about 76 years apart in our dating. Why?
This is very misleading to the average person. The Jewish calendar fails to mention that they have removed 76 years from the calendar. This was done in Mathew 1:8 where the names of Ahaziah, who reigned 1 year, and Athaliah who reigned 6, and Jehhoash who reigned 40 and Amaziah who reigned 29, are all missing from the chronology. 76 years in total.
Mat 1:7 And Solomon fathered Rehoboam, and Rehoboam fathered Abijah, and Abijah fathered Asa.
Mat 1:8 And Asa fathered Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat fathered Jehoram, and Jehoram fathered Uzziah.
Mat 1:9 And Uzziah fathered Jotham, and Jotham fathered Ahaz, and Ahaz fathered Hezekiah.
Compare the biblical list with the actual Kings of Judah list below and take note of which ones are missing and which ones are included, and then ask why.

We can read in Duet. 29:20 where Yehovah threatened to blot out the names of those who served other gods. And in Exodus 20:5 it says that the sins of the people will be visited to the 3rd and 4th generations of those who hate Him.
Deu 29:16 (For you know how we have lived in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the nations which you passed.
Deu 29:17 And you have seen their abominations and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them)
Deu 29:18 lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turns away today from Jehovah our God, to go serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that bears gall and wormwood,
Deu 29:19 and it happens when he hears the words of this curse, that he shall bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart, to snatch away the drunken with the thirsty.
Deu 29:20 Jehovah will not be willing to forgive him, but then the anger of Jehovah and His jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie on him, and Jehovah shall blot out his name from under heavens.
Exo 20:4 You shall not make to yourselves any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
Exo 20:5 You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them. For I Jehovah your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons to the third and fourth generation of those that hate me,
Exo 20:6 and showing mercy to thousands of those that love Me and keep My commandments.
What wicked King could this be? From the list above, we can see that something must have happened to Ahaziah, so let’s begin with him. When we look at this, we can also see how the House of Yehovah fell into ruin and that Joash was going to restore the house and repair it.
Joash Repairs the Temple
2Ch 24:1 Joash was seven years old when he began to reign. And he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Zibiah of Beer-sheba.
2Ch 24:2 And Joash did the right in the eyes of Jehovah all the days of Jehoiada the priest.
2Ch 24:3 And Jehoiada took two wives for him, and he fathered sons and daughters.
2Ch 24:4 And it happened after this, it had been in the mind of Joash to repair the house of Jehovah.
2Ch 24:5 And he gathered together the priests and the Levites and said to them, Go out to the cities of Judah, and gather silver from all Israel to repair the house of your God from year to year. And see that you hasten the matter. And the Levites did not hasten it.
2Ch 24:6 And the king called for Jehoiada and said to him, Why have you not made the Levites bring in the collection out of Judah and out of Jerusalem, according to Moses the servant of Jehovah, and of the congregation of Israel, for the tabernacle of witness?
2Ch 24:7 For the sons of Athaliah, that wicked woman, have broken up the house of God. And also all the dedicated things of the house of Jehovah they have given to Baals.
2Ch 24:8 And the king commanded, and they made a chest, and set it outside at the gate of the house of Jehovah.
2Ch 24:9 And they gave a call in Judah and in Jerusalem, to bring in to Jehovah the collection that Moses the servant of God laid on Israel in the wilderness.
2Ch 24:10 And all the rulers and all the people rejoiced, and brought in, and threw into the chest until it was finished.
2Ch 24:11 And it happened at the time the chest was brought into the king’s office by the Levites, and when they saw that the silver was abundant, the king’s scribe and the high priest’s officer came and emptied the chest, and took it and carried it to its place again. So they did day by day, and gathered a great amount of silver.
2Ch 24:12 And the king and Jehoiada gave it to those who did the work of the service of the house of Jehovah. And they hired masons and carpenters to repair the house of Jehovah, and also artisans in iron and bronze, to mend the house of Jehovah.
2Ch 24:13 And the workmen worked, and the work was completed by them, and they set the house of God in its proper state and made it strong.
2Ch 24:14 And when they had finished, they brought the rest of the silver before the king and Jehoiada. Of this silver were made vessels for the house of Jehovah, vessels to minister and to offer, and spoons, and vessels of gold and silver. And they continually offered burnt offerings in the house of Jehovah all the days of Jehoiada.
2Ch 24:15 But Jehoiada became old, and was full of days when he died. He was a hundred and thirty years old when he died.
2Ch 24:16 And they buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, both toward God and toward His house.
Take note of what was said in verse 7.
2 Chron 24:7 For the sons of Athaliah, that wicked woman, have broken up the house of God. And also all the dedicated things of the house of Jehovah they have given to Baals.
This was why the people of Libnah revolted.
Before we find out who this Athaliah was, let’s read about Joash, the one who was a good King and served Yehovah. Now, let’s turn to 2 Kings 8 and find out what preceded these evil kings. It turns out that Jehoram was an evil King who produced a lineage of evil kings.
Jehoram Reigns in Judah
2Ki 8:16 And in the fifth year of Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel, Jehoshaphat being then king of Judah, Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah began to reign.
2Ki 8:17 And he was thirty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.
2Ki 8:18 And he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab did; for the daughter of Ahab was his wife. And he did evil in the sight of Jehovah.
2Ki 8:19 Yet Jehovah would not destroy Judah for David His servant’s sake, as He promised him to give him a light to his sons forever.
2Ki 8:20 In his days Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, and made a king over themselves.
2Ki 8:21 And Jehoram went over to Zair, and all the chariots with him. And he rose by night and struck the Edomites who were all around him, and the commanders of the chariots. And the people fled into their tents.
2Ki 8:22 Yet Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah to this day. Then Libnah revolted at the same time.
2Ki 8:23 And the rest of the acts of Jehoram, and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Matter of the Days of the Kings of Judah?
2Ki 8:24 And Jehoram slept with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And Ahaziah his son reigned in his place.
We have just learned that the Edomite revolted from Jewish rule, but we also learned that Libnah also revolted. It was not an Edomite city. Libnah was one of the cities of the Aaronic Priests.
Jos 21:13 And to the sons of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron and its open lands as a city of refuge for the manslayer, and Libnah and its open lands,
Something has happened to cause the Libnah people to revolt. Obviously, they objected violently to Jehoram’s desecration of Solomon’s temple. For Joram’s blasphemy, Yehovah judged not only his wife Athaliah but his son Ahaziah, grandson Jehash, and great-grandson Amaziah.
Ahaziah Reigns in Judah
2Ki 8:25 In the twelfth year of Jehoram the son of Ahab, king of Israel, Ahaziah the son of Jehoram, king of Judah, began to reign.
2Ki 8:26 Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri king of Israel.
2Ki 8:27 And he walked in the way of the house of Ahab, and did evil in the sight of Jehovah, as the house of Ahab, for he was the son-in-law of the house of Ahab.
2Ki 8:28 And he went with Jehoram the son of Ahab to the war against Hazael king of Syria in Ramoth of Gilead. And the Syrians wounded Jehoram.
2Ki 8:29 And King Jehoram went back to be healed in Jezreel from the wounds which the Syrians had given him in Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.
Athaliah is usually considered the daughter of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel of Israel.[1] Athaliah was married to Jehoram of Judah to seal a treaty between the kingdoms of Israel and Judah, and to secure his position Jehoram killed his six brothers.[2] Jehoram became king of Judah in the fifth year of Jehoram of Israel’s reign (2 Kings 8:16). Jehoram of Israel was Athaliah’s brother (or possibly nephew).
Jehoram of Judah reigned for eight years. His father Jehoshaphat and grandfather Asa were devout kings who worshiped Yahweh and walked in his ways. However, Jehoram chose not to follow their example but rejected Yahweh and married Athaliah, the daughter of Ahab in the line of Omri. Jehoram’s rule of Judah was shaky. Edom revolted, and he was forced to acknowledge their independence.[3] A raid by Philistines, Arabs and Ethiopians looted the king’s house, and carried off all of his family except for their youngest son, Ahaziah.
After Jehoram’s death, Ahaziah became king of Judah, and Athaliah was queen mother. Ahaziah reigned for one year from the age of 22 (2 Kings 8:26) and was killed during a state visit to Israel along with Jehoram of Israel. Jehu assassinated them both in Yahweh’s name and became king of Israel. He had Athaliah’s entire extended family in Samaria put to death, ending the Omri dynasty in Israel.
Upon hearing the news of Ahaziah’s death, Athaliah seized the throne of Judah and ordered the execution of all possible claimants to the throne,[4][5] including the remnant of her Omri dynasty. However, Jehosheba, Ahaziah’s sister, managed to rescue from the purge one of Athaliah’s grandsons with Jehoram of Judah, named Jehoash, who was only one year old. Jehoash was raised in secret by Jehosheba’s husband, a priest named Jehoiada.
As queen, Athaliah used her power to establish the worship of Baal in Judah. Six years later, Athaliah was surprised when Jehoiada revealed that Jehoash lived and proclaimed him king of Judah. She rushed to stop the rebellion, but was captured and executed.[6][7]Daughter or sister of Ahab?
Gustave Doré, The Death of Athaliah. There are several scriptures that, when combined with chronological considerations, have led some scholars to hold that she was Ahab’s sister, not his daughter.[8] The relevant scriptural texts that can be cited to support the brother-sister relationship are the following:
2 Kings 8:26, and its parallel passage 2 Chronicles 22:2, say that Jehoram of Judah married a “daughter” of Omri, Ahab’s father. The Hebrew word “daughter” (bath) can mean daughter, granddaughter, or any female descendant, in the same way that ben can mean son, grandson, or any male descendant. Consequently, some modern versions translate that Athaliah was a “granddaughter” of Omri. But the books of Kings and Chronicles give far more attention to Ahab than to Omri, and so it is notable that in these verses it is not Athaliah’s relationship to Ahab that is stressed, but her relationship to Omri. This would be reasonable if Omri were her father. The immediately following verses also discuss Ahab, again raising the question of why her relationship to Omri is mentioned, instead of to Ahab.
2 Kings 8:27 says that Jehoram of Judah, Athaliah’s husband, was related by marriage (hatan) to the house of Ahab. The word hatan commonly is used to specify a father-in-law or son-in-law relationship. If Jehoram was Ahab’s son-in-law, the expression that would be expected here would be “son-in-law” (or relative by marriage) to Ahab, not to “the house of Ahab.” If Athaliah was Ahab’s sister, not his daughter, then there is an explanation for the additional phrase “house of.”
The support for Athaliah being Ahab’s daughter comes from two verses, 2 Kings 8:18 and its parallel 2 Chronicles 21:6. These verses say that Jehoram of Judah did wickedly “because he married a daughter of Ahab.” This would seem to settle the question in favor of the daughter relationship, with one precaution: the Syriac version of the 2 Chronicles 21:6 says “sister of Ahab” instead of daughter. This textual support for Athaliah being the sister of Ahab is usually regarded as weak enough to justify translating bath in 2 Kings 8:26 and 2 Chronicles 22:2 as “granddaughter,” thus bringing the various passages about Athaliah into harmony: she is presented as Omri’s granddaughter and Ahab’s daughter.
Keep in mind that you have two Jehorams here: one, the wounded son of Ahab, and the other, the son of Jehosaphat.
Let’s continue to the story so you can see the evil of this time.
Jehu Anointed King of Israel
2Ki 9:1 And Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, Bind up your loins and take this box of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth in Gilead.
2Ki 9:2 And you shall go there, and you shall see there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi. And you shall go in and make him rise up from among his brothers, and take him to an inner room.
2Ki 9:3 And take the box of oil and pour it on his head, and say, So says Jehovah, I have anointed you king over Israel. And you shall open the door, and flee, and shall not wait.
2Ki 9:4 And the young man went, the servant of the prophet, to Ramoth in Gilead.
2Ki 9:5 And he came in, and, behold, the commanders of the army were sitting. And he said, I have an errand to you, commander. And Jehu said, To which of all of us? And he said, To you, commander.
2Ki 9:6 And he arose and went into the house. And he poured the oil on his head and said to him, So says Jehovah, the God of Israel, I have anointed you king over the people of Jehovah, over Israel.
2Ki 9:7 And you shall strike the house of Ahab your master, so that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of Jehovah at the hand of Jezebel.
2Ki 9:8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish. And I will cut off from Ahab everyone that urinates against the wall, both bound and free.
2Ki 9:9 And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah.
2Ki 9:10 And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in a part of Jezreel, and none shall be there to bury her. And he opened the door and fled.
2Ki 9:11 And Jehu went out to the servants of his lord. And one said to him, Well? Why did this mad man come to you? And he said to them, You know the man and what he had to say.
2Ki 9:12 And they said, It is false. Tell us now! And he said, This and this he spoke to me, saying, So says Jehovah, I have anointed you king over Israel.
2Ki 9:13 And they hurried and each man took his garment and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.
Jehu Assassinates Joram and Ahaziah
2Ki 9:14 And Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi plotted against Jehoram. And Jehoram was keeping watch at Ramoth in Gilead, he and all Israel before Hazael king, of Syria.
2Ki 9:15 And King Jehoram returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him when he fought with Hazael the king of Syria. And Jehu said, If it is your minds, then let no escapee leave to go to tell it in Jezreel.
2Ki 9:16 And Jehu rode in the chariot and went to Jezreel. For Jehoram lay there. And Ahaziah king of Judah had come down to see Jehoram.
2Ki 9:17 And a watchman stood on the tower in Jezreel. And he saw the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Jehoram said, Take a horseman and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it peace?
2Ki 9:18 And the rider on horseback went to meet him and said, So says the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What do you have to do with peace? Turn behind me! And the watchman reported, saying, The messenger came to them, but he does not come again.
2Ki 9:19 And he sent a second rider on horseback, who came to them and said, So says the king, Is it peace? And he answered, What do you have to do with peace? Turn behind me!
2Ki 9:20 And the watchman reported, saying, He came up to them, but does not come again. And the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously.
2Ki 9:21 And Jehoram said, Make ready. And his chariot was made ready. And Jehoram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his own chariot, and they went out against Jehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth of Jezreel.
2Ki 9:22 And it happened when Jehoram saw Jehu, he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the harlotries of your mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?
2Ki 9:23 And Jehoram turned his hands and fled and said to Ahaziah, Treachery, Ahaziah!
2Ki 9:24 And Jehu drew a bow and struck Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sank down in his chariot.
2Ki 9:25 And he said to Bidkar his commander, Take him up and throw him in the portion of the field of Naboth of Jezreel. For, remember, you and I rode together after Ahab his father, and Jehovah laid this burden on him.
2Ki 9:26 Surely, yesterday I have seen the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons, says Jehovah, and I will repay you in this portion, says Jehovah. And now, take him and throw him into the portion, according to the Word of Jehovah.
2Ki 9:27 And when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw, he fled by the way of the garden-house. And Jehu followed after him and said, Strike him also in the chariot, at the going up to Gur, that is near Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there.
2Ki 9:28 And his servants carried him in a chariot to Jerusalem, and buried him in his tomb with his fathers in the city of David.
2Ki 9:29 And in the eleventh year of Jehoram the son of Ahab, Ahaziah began to reign over Judah.
Jehu Executes Jezebel
2Ki 9:30 And Jehu had come to Jezreel. And Jezebel heard, and had painted her face and adorned her head, and looked out at a window.
2Ki 9:31 And Jehu came to the gate. And she said, Was itpeace to Zimri the slayer of his lord?
2Ki 9:32 And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is with me? Who? And two or three eunuchs looked out at him.
2Ki 9:33 And he said, Throw her down! And they threw her down. And some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall and on the horses. And he trampled her.
2Ki 9:34 And when he had come in, he ate and drank, and said, Go, now see this cursed woman and bury her. For she is a king’s daughter.
2Ki 9:35 And they went to bury her, but they found no more of her than the skull and the feet and the palms of herhands.
2Ki 9:36 And they came again and told him. And he said, This is the Word of Jehovah which He spoke by His servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel the dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel.
2Ki 9:37 And the dead body of Jezebel shall be as dung on the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel, so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel.
You will notice that King Jehoram of Israel called Joram in the chart above and Jehoram King of Judah and Ahazaih King of Judah all died in 843 BC of the same year.
Now, we must read the next chapter in 2 Kings 10 to learn something else.
Jehu Slaughters Ahab’s Descendants
2Ki 10:1 And Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote letters and sent to Samaria to the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to the supporters of Ahab, saying,
2Ki 10:2 And now as soon as this letter comes to you, since your master’s sons are with you, and chariots and horses are with you, also a fortified city and armor,
2Ki 10:3 even look for the best and fittest of your master’s sons, and set him on his father’s throne, and fight for your master’s house.
2Ki 10:4 And they were exceedingly afraid and said, Behold, two kings did not stand before him; how then shall we stand?
2Ki 10:5 And he who was over the house, and he over the city, the elders also, and the guardians, sent to Jehu saying, We are your servants and will do all that you shall say to us; we will not make any king. Do what is good in your eyes.
2Ki 10:6 And he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If you are mine, and will listen to my voice, take the heads of the men, your master’s sons, and come to me to Jezreel by this time tomorrow. And the king’s sons, seventy persons, were with the great men of the city who brought them up.
2Ki 10:7 And it happened when the letter came to them, they took the king’s sons and killed them, seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets and sent to him in Jezreel.
2Ki 10:8 And a messenger came and told him, saying, They have brought the heads of the king’s sons. And he said, Lay them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate until the morning.
2Ki 10:9 And it happened in the morning, he went out and stood, and said to all the people, You are righteous. Behold, I plotted against my master and killed him. But who killed all these?
2Ki 10:10 Now know that there shall fall to the earth nothing of the Word of Jehovah , which Jehovah spoke concerning the house of Ahab. For Jehovah has done that which He spoke by His servant Elijah.
2Ki 10:11 And Jehu killed all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his familiar friends, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.
2Ki 10:12 And he arose and departed, and came to Samaria. He was at the shepherds’ shearing-house in the way,
2Ki 10:13 And Jehu met with the brothers of Ahaziah king of Judah, and said, Who are you? And they answered, The brothers of Ahaziah. And we are going down to greet the king’s sons and the queen’s sons.
2Ki 10:14 And he said, Take them alive! And they took them alive and killed them at the pit of the shearing-house, forty-two men. And he left not a man of them.
2Ki 10:15 And he left there and found Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him. And he greeted him and said to him, Is your heart right, as my heart is with your heart? And Jehonadab answered, It is. If it is, give your hand. And he gave his hand. And he took him up to him into the chariot.
2Ki 10:16 And he said, Come with me and see my zeal for Jehovah. And they made him ride in his chariot.
2Ki 10:17 And he came to Samaria, and killed all that remained to Ahab in Samaria, until he had destroyed him, according to the saying of Jehovah which He spoke to Elijah.
Jehu Strikes Down the Prophets of Baal
2Ki 10:18 And Jehu gathered all the people together, and said to them, Ahab served Baal a little, but Jehu shall serve him much.
2Ki 10:19 And now call to me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants and all his priests. Let no one be lacking. For I have a great sacrifice to Baal. Whoever shall be lacking, he shall not live. But Jehu was acting with cunning, to the end that he might destroy the worshipers of Baal.
2Ki 10:20 And Jehu said, Call a solemn feast for Baal. And they called it.
2Ki 10:21 And Jehu sent through all Israel. And all the worshipers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left who did not come. And they came into the house of Baal. And the house of Baal was full from one end to another.
2Ki 10:22 And he said to him who was over the robe-room, Bring out robes for all the worshipers of Baal. And he brought them out for them.
2Ki 10:23 And Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal. And he said to the servants of Baal, Search and look, that there may not be here with you any of the servants of Jehovah, but only the servants of Baal.
2Ki 10:24 And they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings. And Jehu had appointed eighty men outside, and said, If any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escapes, his life shall be for the life of him.
2Ki 10:25 And it happened when he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, Jehu said to the guard and to the commanders, Go in. Kill them! Do not let any come out! And they struck them with the edge of the sword. And the guard and the commanders threw them out. And they went to the city, to the house of Baal.
2Ki 10:26 And they brought forth the images out of the house of Baal and burned them.
2Ki 10:27 And they broke down the image of Baal, and broke down the house of Baal and made it a sewer-house until this day.
Jehu Reigns in Israel
2Ki 10:28 And Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.
2Ki 10:29 Only, Jehu did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, going after them, the golden calves in Bethel and in Dan.
2Ki 10:30 And Jehovah said to him, Jehu, because you have done well in doing the right in My eyes, and have done to the house of Ahab according to all that was in My heart, your sons of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.
2Ki 10:31 But Jehu did not care to walk in the Law of Jehovah, the God of Israel with all his heart, for he did not turn from the sins of Jeroboam, who made Israel to sin.
2Ki 10:32 In those days Jehovah began to cut Israel short. And Hazael struck them in all the border of Israel,
2Ki 10:33 from Jordan toward the rising of the sun, all the land of Gilead, the men of Gad and of Reuben and of Manasseh, from Aroer, by the river Arnon, even Gilead and Bashan.
2Ki 10:34 And the rest of the acts of Jehu and all that he did, and all his might, are they not written in the Book of the Matter of the Days of the Kings of Israel?
2Ki 10:35 And Jehu slept with his fathers. And they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son reigned in his place.
2Ki 10:36 And the days that Jehu reigned over Israel and Samaria were twenty-eight years.
Notice what Yehovah says to Jehu about his son until the fourth generation.
2Ki 10:30 And Jehovah said to him, Jehu, because you have done well in doing the right in My eyes, and have done to the house of Ahab according to all that was in My heart, your sons of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.
Yehovah is blessing him unto the 4th generation while at the same time, he is about to blot out the names of 4 kings or 4 generations in the house of Judah. All of this is taking place at this same time during Elijah’s time.
Now, do not forget who this Athaliah is. She is the daughter of Omri and the wife of Jehoram, the mother of Ahaziah—both of whom were killed in 843 BC.
Athaliah Reigns in Judah
2Ki 11:1 And Athaliah was the mother of Ahaziah. And when she saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed of the kingdom.
2Ki 11:2 But Jehosheba the daughter of King Jehoram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah and stole him from among the king’s sons which were killed. And they hid him from Athaliah in the bedroom, him and his nurse, so that he was not killed.
2Ki 11:3 And he was hidden with her in the house of Jehovah six years. And Athaliah reigned over the land.
Joash Anointed King in Judah
2Ki 11:4 And in the seventh year Jehoiada sent and brought the rulers over hundreds, with the commanders and the guards, and brought them to him into the house of Jehovah. And he made a covenant with them and took an oath from them in the house of Jehovah, and revealed to them the king’s son.
2Ki 11:5 And he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that you shall do. A third part of you who enter in on the sabbath shall be keepers of the watch of the king’s house.
2Ki 11:6 And a third part shall be at the gate of Sur. And a third part at the gate behind the guard. And you shall keep the watch of the house, alternately.
2Ki 11:7 And two parts of you, all who go forth on the sabbath, even they shall keep the watch of the house of Jehovah around the king.
2Ki 11:8 And you shall surround the king, every man with his weapons in his hand. And he who comes inside the ranks, let him be killed. And they shall be with the king as he goes out and as he comes in.
2Ki 11:9 And the rulers of the hundreds did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded. And each man took his men, going in on the sabbath, with those going out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest.
2Ki 11:10 And the priest gave King David’s spears and shields, which were in the temple of Jehovah, to the rulers of the hundreds.
2Ki 11:11 And the guard stood, each man with his weapons in his hand, around the king, from the right corner of the temple to the left corner of the temple, by the altar and the temple.
2Ki 11:12 And he brought forth the king’s son, and put the crown and the testimony on him. And they made him king and anointed him, and clapped their hands and said, Let the king live!
2Ki 11:13 And when Athaliah heard the noise of the guard and of the people, she came to the people into the temple of Jehovah.
2Ki 11:14 And she looked, and behold, the king stood by a pillar as usually was done, and the rulers and the trumpeters were by the king. And all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew with trumpets. And Athaliah tore her clothes, and cried, Treason! Treason!
2Ki 11:15 And Jehoiada the priest commanded the rulers of the hundreds, those set over the army, and said to them, Take her out between the ranks, and let the one who follows her kill her with the sword. For the priest had said, Let her not be slain in the house of Jehovah.
2Ki 11:16 And they laid hands on her, and she went by the way which the horses came into the king’s house. And she was killed there.
2Ki 11:17 And Jehoiada made a covenant between Jehovah and the king and the people, that they should be the people of Jehovah; also between the king and the people.
2Ki 11:18 And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal and broke it down. They broke his altars and his images completely in pieces. And they killed Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of Jehovah.
2Ki 11:19 And he took the rulers over hundreds, and the commanders, and the guard, and all the people of the land. And they brought the king down from the house of Jehovah and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king’s house. And he sat on the throne of the kings.
2Ki 11:20 And all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was quiet. And they killed Athaliah with the sword besidethe king’s house.
Jehoash Reigns in Judah
2Ki 11:21 Joash was seven years old when he began to reign.
2Ki 12:1 And in the seventh year of Jehu, Joash began to reign. And he reigned in Jerusalem forty years. And his mother’s name was Zibiah of Beer-sheba.
2Ki 12:2 And Joash did the right in the sight of Jehovah all his days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.
2Ki 12:3 But the high places were not taken away. The people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places.
Jehoash Repairs the Temple
2Ki 12:4 And Joash said to the priests, All the silver from things dedicated to God, which is brought into the house of Jehovah, the silver from each man the silver of his valuation, all the silver that comes into any man’s heart to bring to the house of Jehovah,
2Ki 12:5 let the priests take it to themselves, each man from those he knows. And let them repair the breaks in the house, in all places where any break shall be found.
2Ki 12:6 And it happened in the twenty-third year of King Joash, the priests had not repaired the breaks of the house.
2Ki 12:7 Then King Joash called for Jehoiada the priest, and the priests, and said to them, Why are you not repairing the breaks of the house? And now take no silver from those you know, but deliver it for the breaks of the house.
2Ki 12:8 And the priests agreed to take no silver from the people, nor to repair the breaks of the house.
2Ki 12:9 But Jehoiada the priest took a chest and bored a hole in its lid. And he set it beside the altar, on the right side as one comes into the house of Jehovah. And the priests who kept the door put in it all the silver brought into the house of Jehovah.
2Ki 12:10 And it happened when they saw that much silver was in the chest, the king’s scribe and the high priest came up. And they bound and counted the silver that was found in the house of Jehovah.
2Ki 12:11 And they gave the silver which was counted into the hands of those who did the work, those overseeing the house of Jehovah. And they laid it out to the carpenters and builders who worked on the house of Jehovah,
2Ki 12:12 and to masons and cutters of stone, and to buy timber and cut stone to repair the breaks of the house of Jehovah, and for all that went forth for the house, to repair it.
2Ki 12:13 Only, there were no bowls of silver, snuffers, basins, trumpets, or any vessels of gold or vessels of silver, made for the house of Jehovah from the silver which wasbrought into the house of Jehovah.
2Ki 12:14 For they gave it to the workmen, and repaired the house of Jehovah with it.
2Ki 12:15 And they did not make an accounting with the men into whose hands they gave the silver to be given to the workmen. For they dealt faithfully.
2Ki 12:16 The trespass silver and sin silver was not brought into the house of Jehovah. It was the priests’.
2Ki 12:17 Then Hazael king of Syria went up and fought against Gath, and took it. And Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem.
2Ki 12:18 And Joash king of Judah took all the holy things which Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own holy things, and all the gold found in the treasures of the house of Jehovah, and in the king’s house, and sent it to Hazael king of Syria. And he went away from Jerusalem. The Death of Joash
2Ki 12:19 And the rest of the acts of Joash, and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Matters of the Days of the Kings of Judah?
2Ki 12:20 And his servants arose and made a plot. And they killed Joash in the house of Millo, which goes down to Silla.
2Ki 12:21 For Jozachar the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, struck him, and he died. And they buried him with his fathers in the city of David. And Amaziah his son reigned in his place.
Amaziah Reigns in Judah
2Ki 14:1 In the second year of Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz king of Israel, Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah reigned.
2Ki 14:2 He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem.
2Ki 14:3 And he did the right in the sight of Jehovah, yet not like David his father. He did according to all things that Joash his father did.
2Ki 14:4 Only, the high places were not taken away. The people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.
2Ki 14:5 And it happened when the kingdom was confirmed in his hand, he killed his servants who had slain his father the king;
2Ki 14:6 But he did not kill the sons of the servants, according to that which is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, in which Jehovah commanded, saying, The fathers shall not be put to death for the sons, nor shall the sons be put to death for the fathers, but each shall be put to death for his own sin.
2Ki 14:7 He killed ten thousand of Edom in the Valley of Salt, and took Selah by war, and called the name of it Joktheel until this day.
2Ki 14:8 Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us look one another in the face.
2Ki 14:9 And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle which was in Lebanon sent to the cedar in Lebanon, saying, Give your daughter to my son for a wife. And a beast of the field in Lebanon passed by and trampled the thistle.
2Ki 14:10 You have indeed stricken Edom, and your heart has lifted you up. Rejoice and stay at home, for why should you meddle to your harm, so that you should fall, you and Judah with you?
2Ki 14:11 But Amaziah would not hear. And Jehoash king of Israel went up. And he and Amaziah king of Judah looked one another in the face at Beth-shemesh, of Judah.
2Ki 14:12 And Judah was beaten before Israel. And every man fled to his tent.
2Ki 14:13 And Jehoash king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash the son of Ahaziah, at Beth-shemesh, and he came to Jerusalem and broke down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the Corner Gate, four hundred cubits.
2Ki 14:14 And he took all the gold and silver, and all the vessels which were found in the house of Jehovah, and in the treasures of the king’s house, and hostages, and returned to Samaria.
2Ki 14:15 And the rest of the acts of Jehoash which he did, and his might, and how he fought with Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the Book of the Matters of the Days of the Kings of Israel?
2Ki 14:16 And Jehoash slept with his fathers and was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel. And Jeroboam his son reigned in his place.
2Ki 14:17 And Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah lived after the death of Jehoash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel fifteen years.
2Ki 14:18 And the rest of the acts of Amaziah, are they not written in the Book of the Matters of the Days of the Kings of Judah?
2Ki 14:19 And they made a plot against him at Jerusalem, and he fled to Lachish. And they sent after him to Lachish and killed him there.
2Ki 14:20 And they brought him on horses, and he was buried at Jerusalem with his fathers in the city of David.
2Ki 14:21 And all the people of Judah took Azariah who wassixteen years old, and made him king in place of his father Amaziah.
2Ki 14:22 He built Elath, and restored it to Judah, after the king slept with his fathers.
This Azariah was also called Uzziah in 2 Kings 15:13 and is the Ozias of Mathew 1:8.
Here are the reigns for each of these four kings again.
Ahaziah reigned for one year
Athaliah reigned for six years
Joash reigned for 40 years
Amaziah reigned for 29 years.
Having now shown where the 76 years went missing, the question arises: Are we in the year 5784, as Judah claims, or is it 5860, as shown to us in the Jubilee cycles, leaving us 20 years to the conclusion of the 120th Jubilee cycle?
Breaking The Key 1.5C Warming Limit
We have been warning you since 2005 it is going to get hotter. The UN has been telling you we must stay below the 1.5 degree C limit or else. We have now surpassed that limit. Many of the scientists do not know what is going to happen next. But you do. You know that in Revelation 16:9, it is going to get so hot that men will curse God but not repent. You also know from studying Revelation that most of the plagues are a result of the weather, or what the world calls Global Warming or Climate Change. It is not Climate Change. All of these things are a direct result of Yehovah sending His 7 seals during each of the Sabbatical Cycles and now the 7 trumpet plagues during each of the years in this 5th Sabbatical Cycle, only to be followed by the final 7 vials or bowls in the last 3 1/2 years of the Great Tribulation from 2030-2033. Because you know these things, you know it is going to get hotter.
Rev 16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial onto the sun. And it was given to him to burn men with fire.
Rev 16:9 And men were burned with great heat. And they blasphemed the name of God, He having authority over these plagues. And they did not repent in order to give Him glory.

For the first time, global warming has exceeded 1.5C across an entire year, according to the EU’s climate service.
World leaders promised in 2015 to try to limit the long-term temperature rise to 1.5C, which is seen as crucial to help avoid the most damaging impacts.
This first year-long breach doesn’t break that landmark Paris agreement, but it does bring the world closer to doing so in the long-term.
Urgent action to cut carbon emissions can still slow warming, scientists say.
“This far exceeds anything that is acceptable,” Prof Sir Bob Watson, a former chair of the UN’s climate body, told the BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme.
“Look what’s happened this year with only 1.5C – we’ve seen floods, we’ve seen droughts, we’ve seen heatwaves and wildfires all over the world.”
The period from February 2023 to January 2024 reached 1.52C of warming, according to the EU’s Copernicus Climate Change Service. The following graph shows how that compares with previous years.
The latest climate warning comes amid news that the Labour Party is ditching its policy of spending £28bn a year on its green investment plan in a major U-turn. The Conservatives also pushed back on some key targets in September.
This means the UK’s two main parties have scaled back the type of pledges that many climate scientists say are needed globally if the worst impacts of warming are to be avoided.
Why is the Paris climate agreement still important?
A really simple guide to climate change
The world’s sea surface is also at its highest ever recorded average temperature – yet another sign of the widespread nature of climate records. As the chart below shows, it’s particularly notable given that ocean temperatures don’t normally peak for another month or so.
Science groups differ slightly on precisely how much temperatures have increased, but all agree that the world is in by far its warmest period since modern records began – and likely for much longer.
Limiting long-term warming to 1.5C above pre-industrial levels – before humans started burning large amounts of fossil fuels – has become a key symbol of international efforts to tackle climate change.
A landmark UN report in 2018 said that the risks from climate change – such as intense heatwaves, rising sea-levels and loss of wildlife – were much higher at 2C of warming than at 1.5C.
Why has 1.5C been broken over the past year?
The long-term warming trend is unquestionably being driven by human activities – mainly from burning fossil fuels, which releases planet-warming gases like carbon dioxide. This is also responsible for the vast majority of the warmth over the past year.
In recent months, a natural climate-warming phenomenon known as El Niño has also given air temperatures an extra boost, although it would typically only do so by about 0.2C.
Global average air temperatures began exceeding 1.5C of warming on an almost daily basis in the second half of 2023, when El Niño began kicking in, and this has continued into 2024. This is shown where the red line is above the dashed line in the graph below.
An end to El Niño conditions is expected in a few months, which could allow global temperatures to temporarily stabilise, and then fall slightly, probably back below the 1.5C threshold.
But while human activities keep adding to the levels of warming gases in the atmosphere, temperatures will ultimately continue rising in the decades ahead.
Is the world warming faster than expected?
Can we still limit global warming?
At the current rate of emissions, the Paris goal of limiting warming to 1.5C as a long-term average – rather than a single year – could be crossed within the next decade.
This would be a hugely symbolic milestone, but researchers say it wouldn’t mark a cliff edge beyond which climate change will spin out of control.
The impacts of climate change would continue to accelerate, however with every little increase in warming – something that the extreme heatwaves, droughts, wildfires and floods over the past 12 months have given us a taste of.
An extra half a degree – the difference between 1.5C and 2C of global warming – also greatly increases the risks of passing so-called tipping points.
These are thresholds within the climate system which, if crossed, could lead to rapid and potentially irreversible changes.
For example, if the Greenland and West Antarctic Ice Sheets passed a tipping point, their potentially runaway collapse could cause catastrophic rises to global sea-levels over the centuries that followed.
But researchers are keen to emphasise that humans can still make a difference to the world’s warming trajectory.
The world has made some progress, with green technologies like renewables and electric vehicles booming in many parts of the world.
This has meant some of the very worst case scenarios of 4C warming or more this century – thought possible a decade ago – are now considered much less likely, based on current policies and pledges.
And perhaps most encouragingly of all, it’s still thought that the world will more or less stop warming once net zero carbon emissions are reached. Effectively halving emissions this decade is seen as particularly crucial.
“That means we can ultimately control how much warming the world experiences, based on our choices as a society, and as a planet,” says Zeke Hausfather, a climate scientist at US group Berkeley Earth.
“Doom is not inevitable.”

I enjoyed the variety of topics in the newsletter! Yes those young soldiers need to cleanse and it would also be a great time for them to come to know Yeshua and the power of Yehovah’s forgiveness 🙏
About the 6th Seal, popular opinion says nuke but I don’t think we should rule out “all natural” causes. Even Climate Scientists speak of “the big one” how a changing climate will lead to hurricanes, and hurricanes can lead to earthquakes, and earthquakes lead to volcanic activity
“And every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”
Try a poleshift.
The main driver of weather and climate is solar insolation and planetary motion of tilt and orbit. Plate tectonics are driven independently from hurricanes but instead likely by planetary motion and solar system activity. Two good books to read being “path of the poles” by Hapgood and “Worlds in Collision”by Velikovsky

The Israel Guys
You mentioned – The Times of Israel reported on February 11, 2024, that Iran was just 60 days away from building a Nuclear bomb, according to US officials. That would be about April 11, 2024.
The article you referenced is dated Feb 11, 2022 not 2024. Today is Feb 9th.
Yes the Times Article does have the date of Feb 11, 2022. I heard this first on the TV news this past week and went to get this report and saw the current date for the Times of Israel. It is now two years later.

The Dangerous Global Order with a Nuclear Armed Iran
by Majid Rafizadeh
February 10, 2024 at 5:00 am
America’s actions now – or else its inaction – will determine the ability of global powers to mold an international order that either upholds democratic values or succumbs to the dominance of terror groups and dictatorships.
Inaction or a failure to adopt a resolute stance against the ascent of Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism armed with nuclear capabilities, can only pave the way for a world where autocratic regimes and extremist factions dictate the course of international affairs.
As Iran is on the verge of achieving a significant milestone in obtaining nuclear weapons, concerns are mounting over the Biden administration’s lack of a coherent strategy to prevent Iran from going nuclear. Since the Biden administration took office, Iran has been rapidly advancing its uranium enrichment, approaching levels of 83.7% close to the 90% needed for nuclear weapons capability.
The consequences of Iran possessing nuclear weapons should not be downplayed or overlooked. The Iranian regime has repeatedly threatened to annihilate Israel, and views that goal a central pillar of its ideology. This commitment is rooted in religious prophecies from the regime’s founder, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, and current Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, foreseeing the eventual eradication of Israel.
General Hossein Salami, chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has explicitly outlined the regime’s aggressive stance, stating on Iran’s state-controlled Channel 2 TV in 2019, “Our strategy is to erase Israel from the global political map.” Khamenei’s 416-page guidebook, Palestine, further emphasizes the regime’s dedication to Israel’s destruction.
The Iranian regime is also committed to exporting its Islamist system globally. Embedded in its constitution is the prioritization of revolutionary ideals, aiming at propagating its governance system in line with its version of Shiite Islam. This mission, outlined in the preamble, seeks to create conditions that align with the values of Islam, and that foster the revolution at home and abroad. Since 1979, the regime has expanded its influence across the Middle East. The regime has deployed the IRGC and its expeditionary Quds Force to influence regions from Yemen to Lebanon, Syria, and the Gaza Strip through proxy groups such as the Houthi militia, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in Iraq.
Expanding on the multifaceted concerns surrounding Iran’s pursuit of nuclear capabilities, a critical dimension lies in the unsettling prospect of nuclear weapons falling into the hands of the regime’s extensive network of proxies. This network includes the above-mentioned groups as well as the Syrian regime, Iran’s allies in South America, and the Taliban in Afghanistan.
The intricate web of alliances and shared interests creates a scenario where the Iranian regime could extend its influence by providing such capabilities to like-minded allies and proxy groups. Iran’s establishment of weapons factories abroad and its production of advanced ballistic missiles, including precision-guided ones, underscores the urgency of the situation.
This adds a layer of complexity to the global security landscape, raising the stakes and emphasizing the immediate need for a comprehensive strategy to address not only the imminent nuclear threat from Iran but also the broader implications of potential proliferation among its network of proxies and allies.
To address these concerns, two critical policy considerations emerge. First, the consideration of a military option looms large on the strategic horizon. This involves a meticulous examination of targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, thereby disrupting its capacity to advance its nuclear program. A decisive and preemptive strike is necessary to thwart the imminent danger posed by a nuclear-armed Iran.
Second, a fundamental reevaluation of the West’s diplomatic and economic engagements with Iran emerges as a crucial policy imperative. The prevailing practice of rewarding the regime with substantial financial incentives, amounting to billions of dollars, and engaging in trade relationships contributes to the funding of Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Consequently, a recalibration of Western policies is needed, with a focus on imposing strategic economic sanctions and halting diplomatic relationships that are fueling the regime’s nuclear aspirations.
Drawing historical parallels: If Hitler had acquired nuclear weapons, would he have hesitated to use them?
So far, Iran is “pushing Biden around,” as news analyst Aaron Cohen said. The more Biden lets it, the more pushed around Biden will get.
It remains to be seen if the Biden administration will undergo a strategic recalibration and take decisive action, or persist in crafting a legacy that supports the Iranian regime, a top state sponsor of terrorism, to advance its nuclear weapon program to completion, and allows the ruling clerics and their allies, terror groups, and proxies, to acquire nuclear weapons.
The ramifications extend far beyond the immediate geopolitical landscape.
As a family, we have been reading through 1 & 2 Kings, your article about what year it is, is a wonderful supplement to our studies!! Thank you!!
I sincerely love and appreciate you for everything you’ve done for the Royal family.
Nazarene Israel have declared a 13th month as the barley is not even close to being Aviv. They add:
“Due to these circumstances, we are unable to declare Rosh HaShanah on this new moon. And this new moon begins a 13th Hebrew month. The new moon in March will be the next possible scenario for a Rosh HaShanah declaration. However, barley is highly affected by weather and temperature patterns in Israel and a 14th month scenario is also possible.”
Joseph, I would like your view on whether there can be a 14th month. You have previously stated that a month cannot be more than 30 days (due to the orbit of the moon rather than the sighting of the moon), so I wonder if you would agree to a year that goes well beyond the orbit of the earth around the sun? Have you come across any histoical proof of a 14 month year in your studies?
Shalom Stuart, You have read all of our books and know the answer. I do hope you have read this week’s newsletter also. I am not responsible for what others teach or say and I am not going to comment on Nazarene Israel’s declaration. He is a great student of the Barley, and we have quoted him many times over the years. We agree on many things in Torah and disagree on some things and yet we are brothers in the faith together.
I will repeat it here again what sightedmoon.com’s position is. We do not look for the barley to declare a thirteenth month. We do not look for enough barley so all farmers can make a first fruits offering. The first fruits offering is on behalf of all farmers. Even those whose crops are months away from being harvestable.
We look for the barley in order to make a Wave Sheaf Offering on Wave Sheaf Day and THAT is the only reason we look for the barley. In so doing, we know for certain when the 1st month is.
Far too many city slickers have no clue about agriculture and how it is grown and harvested. You cannot harvest barley that is already shattering. You will lose your crop if you do. If there is starch in the head of the barley in what is called a dough stage by Friday, before Wave Sheaf Day, then this is the month of Aviv-the Month of Green Ears.
IF there is no barley with starch in the head, which can then be roasted and prepared for flour to make the wave sheaf offering on Wave Sheaf Day, then and only then will I yield to this being a 13th month. As of this day the 1st day of the 13th or the 1st day of the 1st month, we still do not know. Yes, I have spoken with Becca and I have the same information Norman has.
I have told my readership that they should plan on keeping The Footwashing Saturday evening of February 24, Passover on Sunday evening February 25. The First Holy Day of Unleavened Bread Monday February 26 starting the evening before with the Passover meal and then the 7th day of Unleavened Bread on Sunday March 3, which is also going to be Wave Sheaf Day. A full 3 weeks, 21 days from today.
If the Barley is NOT ready on Wave Sheaf Day, then I will keep Passover in March. I have no problems keeping two Passovers. If on the other hand those who state Passover is next month, do not keep Passover this month on February 26, then should the Barley be found and then declared Aviv before Wave Sheaf Day on March 3, you will not be able to go back and keep it. You will have missed your date with Yehovah.
I am quite sure you know the scripture that says, For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. Ignorance is not a legitimate excuse. We are told to look. We are looking and we are watching.
If you want to role the dice, and play the game of craps with Yehovah, at this stage, that is your choice. I am not playing that game. I will keep two passovers if needed and error on caution. I am and I remain watching, and I do not care what the rest of the world does. I will watch and see what Yehovah does and what He shows us by either sending cold rains to stop the growth, or warm winds to ready the barley. He has three more weeks in which I am going to watch. I watch every IDF report from Gaza studying the grasses in the background. I study reports on FB from those posting from Gaza and News reports from Gaza. I also listen to and study what Becca shares with us. I am watching and waiting on Yehovah. I do not know if this is the 13th or the 1st month and I will not know until Wave Sheaf Day the last day of unleavened Bread this year.
If people do not like the way I do things, they can always join the Hillel Calendar and forget looking for the barley altogether. But read again Exodus 12:15
For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
You need to get this right.
We have listed the dates for the upcoming Holy Days on our website. You get to judge and decide what you want to do.
I hope this makes my position very clear so you understand what I am doing. Some years it is easy to decide-this year is very hard and it is going to be very close.
No man knows the day or the hour of His coming. We are now in the final 10 years when these words will ring louder and louder. It is time to come together and work with each other.
If we had no one in the land, if Becca was not there and there was no way to check, then what would you do? I would keep two of each Feast as I did in my first year of learning about the barley. I did not know which calendar was right, barley or Hillel, so I kept both to be safe. We only have seven years until we flee into the wilderness of times time and a half time. From now until then keep two Feasts for all the Feasts until you figure it out.
The dates of the kings on the chart are a bit off. We know Hezekiah’s 29-year reign was @ 715-686 B.C. (not 726-697) because his 14th year is 701 according to Assyrian chronology (2Ki 18:13, 19:29) and Yehovah added 15 more years after that (2Ki 20:6).
