Which Wolf Are You Feeding?

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Zoom Meeting

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our youtube channel.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath June 19, 2021, will be at 1 PM Eastern for our afternoon service.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

Joseph Dumond is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Septennial Torah Portion

If you go to Torah Portion at our archived section, you can then go to the 5th year which is the 5th year of the Sabbatical Cycle, the one we are in now, as we state at the top of every News Letter. There you can scroll down to June 19, 2021, and see that this Shabbat we could very well be midrashing about

Gen 41
2 Samuel 11-12
Psalm 82-84
Luke 3-4:30

If you missed last week’s exciting discoveries as we studied that section you can go and watch past Shabbats on our media section.

Scanning the Horizons

My Rocket alert went off again on Thursday evening, Israel time. Isreal has struck back for that and sending up a barrage of fire balloons.

On Monday, June 13, 2021, Benjamin Netanyahu has lost his 12-year hold on power in Israel after its parliament voted in a new coalition government.
Right-wing nationalist Naftali Bennett has been sworn in as prime minister, leading a “government of change”.
He will lead an unprecedented coalition of parties which was approved with a razor-thin majority of 60-59.

It is the 9th of Av on Sunday and the 10th on Monday. Is anything about to take place or nothing at all?

And we have the Perigee of the moon June 23-25, 2021. This is the third Super Moon in a row also known as the Strawberry Moon.

Conferences

Over the past couple of weeks we have spoken at 3 conferences and sponsored 3 others I think. While the gospel message is free, it does cost money to host and that requires sponsors to help pay for travel and housing of those involved. So again I appeal to you for support as we do have more meetings we are planning and doing. As I look at the finances we never have enough to cover them, and I wonder just how we are going to do this. Yet they do get done and the message gets out there. Brethren, we could sure use some ongoing and study help so that we can plan for more conferences like this and to plan accordingly.

Here are a few of the advertising banners for a conference in Bulacan and another for Cebu and a third for Ilocos Norte.

These next two videos are from Dennis’s conferences. The third is from Leo’s COnference in Ilocos Norte, the fourth video is our teaching back in Digos Mindanao. With each video, you can see the skills being applied to make this work better. But we again do not have the funds so that we could hire people full time to edit and produce quality videos. We ask you to pray to Yehovah asking HIm to increase the support levels so that we can produce quality work to reach the entire nation of the Philippines and all of Aisia.

This next one is from Leo’s Conference Ilocos Norte, last week.

And the following is from Dennis in Mindanao.

The Drought

Extreme heat in the West could break 200 records and produce temps up to 127 degrees

About 200 million people are projected to experience temperatures over 90 degrees over the next seven days, and 40 million over 100 degrees.

June 15, 2021, 11:53 AM EDT
By Kathryn Prociv and Jeremy Lewan
Dozens of daily records were set Monday as highs soared into the 90s and hit triple digits across cities in the Western part of the country, stretching all the way north to the Canadian border.

Denver hit 101 and Montana’s capital, Helena, reached a sizzling 104 degrees. Records in Salt Lake City and Billings, Montana, were broken by 5 degrees or more. Record highs are typically only broken by 1 or 2 degrees, so the fact many were obliterated by large margins speaks to the intensity of the heat that’s baking that part of the country.

And there’s not much relief in sight, as the extreme heat across the West will only intensify and become more widespread through the rest of the week.

About 200 million people are projected to experience temperatures over 90 degrees over the next seven days, and 40 million over 100 degrees.

More than 50 million Americans were under heat warnings and watches Tuesday as triple digits, coupled with bone-dry humidity, choke the West throughout the week. Highs could skyrocket up to 30 degrees above average in some spots, and nearly 200 daily record highs are possible by the end of the week.

For Texas, this is particularly concerning given their hottest days of the year are yet to come. Climatologically speaking, temperatures reach their peak during the month of August across the Lone Star State.

And even “escaping” to the mountains won’t bring any relief. By Thursday, Grand Junction, Colorado, at 4,500 feet could set a record of 105; Denver at 5,280 feet could set a record of 97; Flagstaff, Arizona, at 6,900 feet, could set a record of 91.

About 4 million people remain under red flag warnings as the fire danger intensifies to critical levels, and these warnings are expected to expand as the high heat and gusty winds continue to engulf the West through the remainder of the week.

Half the USA is now in drought conditions and the summer is just starting.

We also have this PBS report about the drought in the west and its severity and there are still a number of months until the fall rains come if they come.

I also have reports from brethren in the agriculture business who are telling me that the government is shutting down the water to the farmers. The farmers need water to finish the growing season of their crops. As a result, the pecan trees are drying up and dying with the pecans not yet harvestable.

I have no need to remind you of the curses of this 4th Sabbatical cycle, but I will so you that you know. Famine is coming. And it is going to be so severe that you will eat your own children. COVID 19 came exactly at the very time Yehovah said He would send it and it is not gone away. No one has repented. So the next phase of this fourth curse will be sent so that people will repent.

Lev 26:23  And if you will not be reformed by Me by these things, but will still walk contrary to Me,

Lev 26:24  then I will walk contrary to you and will punish you seven times more for your sins.

Lev 26:25  And I will bring a sword on you that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant. And when you are gathered inside your cities, I will send the plague among you. And you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

Lev 26:26  When I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight. And you shall eat and not be satisfied.

Lev 26:27  And if you will not for all of this listen to Me, but will walk contrary to Me,

Lev 26:28  then I will walk contrary to you also in fury. And I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

Lev 26:29  And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters you shall eat.

As I go to post this Newsletter I have the following report.

In North Korea a packet of coffee costs $100, and that’s a problem for Kim Jong Un

The agriculture sector is still recovering from storm damage incurred last year. Replacing domestic food supplies with imports will likely be difficult because borders remain mostly closed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
In the capital Pyongyang, prices of some staple goods are reportedly skyrocketing. Experts say rice and fuel prices are relatively stable still but imported staples such as sugar, soy bean oil and flour prices have gone up.

The costs associated with some locally produced staples have also soared in recent months. Potato prices have tripled at the well-known Tongil market, where both locals and foreigners can shop, Pyongyang residents said.
Residents also revealed that non staple items such as a small packet of black tea can sell for around $70, while a packet of coffee can fetch more than $100.

And we also have over 5 million in famine conditons in Ethiopia right now.

“The number of people in famine conditions … is higher than anywhere in the world, at any moment since a quarter million Somalis lost their lives in 2011,” Lowcock said.

Most of the 5.5 million people in Tigray need food aid. Fighting broke out in the region in November between government troops and the region’s former ruling party, the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF). Troops from neighboring Eritrea also entered the conflict to support the Ethiopian government.

Fathers Day

June 20, 2021, is Father’s day.

The nation’s first Father’s Day was celebrated on June 19, 1910, in the state of Washington. However, it was not until 1972–58 years after President Woodrow Wilson made Mother’s Day official–that the day honoring fathers became a nationwide holiday in the United States. Father’s Day 2021 will occur on Sunday, June 20.

We are commanded in the Torah of Mount Sinai to honour our Mother and our Father.

Exo 20:12  Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long upon the land which Jehovah your God gives you.

It is a simple enough commandment. Yet I hear over and over from those whose Dads were not very fatherly how these women and some men will not forgive nor speak to their parents.

In my own situation, my own children will not speak to me. What is my crime? I am not a wife beater. I am not a gambler. I am not a drunkard. I took my kids to all their functions and was at most of their plays. I paid for everything they began their lives with and provided them with a stable upbringing and a beautiful home to come home to.

My crime is that I keep Torah.

My Dad, on the other hand, was a drunkard and a wife-beater and a womanizer and a gambler. He worked away from home most of our lives and hardly ever did he make it to any of my functions that I wanted my parents to see me at so they could be proud of my achievements. There was one incident in which I, at the age of 10, had aimed my brand new rifle at my Dad’s head while he beat my Mom. It was my Dad ironically, who taught me how to set the ball of the sighting in the bottom of the groove to hit the target. The beating stopped at that very moment and He left the house for the bar once again.

My Dad’s drunkenness allowed the plague of incest to come into our family as it was in all our relatives at that time. It was not Dad abusing my sisters, but relatives who took advantage of my Dad being drunk and not able to protect his daughters. He never knew what was going on until my sister grew up and spoke out.

I am not complaining. Nor am I ragging on my Dad nor blaming him for all my problems. He himself grew up in a time during WW II when most men were not around to give guidance and leadership. His own Dad, my grandfather, was also away for most of my Dad’s life and did not know how to show love.

Each of us is the product of the love and support or the lack of it given to us by our parents. We can use that as a crutch for your failings or as a motivation for you to succeed. It all depends on how you look at it.

I can today, honestly say, without hesitation, that I love my Dad. I highly respect and hold him in great esteem. I do not judge him for the things he did. That is Yehovah’s job and my Dad will have to meet Him soon enough. My job is going to be to answer this question when I step before the Judge of All Things.

Did I and do I honour my Mother and My Father?

After My parents divorced, after 40 years my Mom did not have one good thing to say about my Dad. And each time she would go off about him with me I held my peace and stopped talking. I never told my Mom to shut up. I never aided in her debasing of my Dad. I just held my peace and said nothing. I had to Honour both my Parents, My Mother and my Father. I could have joined Mom and derided my Dad, but I refused to do so. It was a conscious decision each time I talked to Mom not to join in the attack of Dad.

Today both my parents are still alive. They have survived COVID and they are both 84. Mom has the early signs of dementia and is now talking to me about the funny things from the past and many of them include the times we had with Dad. Yes, we did have good times and fun trips and great family outings. And it is fun to remember them and laugh today at the silliness we had at that time. When I talk with Dad he always asks how Mom is and if we are taking care of her needs.

Yes, I love both my parents. Yes, I can say to Yehovah I have honoured both my Mother and my Father. They will both be gone soon enough and I dread that day.

Let me now share again this scripture that some of you need to memorize.

The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant

Mat 18:21  Then Peter came to Him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Until seven times?

Mat 18:22  Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, Until seven times; but, Until seventy times seven.

Mat 18:23  Therefore the kingdom of Heaven has been compared to a certain king who desired to make an accounting with his servants.

Mat 18:24  And when he had begun to count, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.

Mat 18:25  But as he had nothing to pay, his lord commanded that he, and his wife and children, and all that he had, be sold, and payment be made.

Mat 18:26  Then the servant fell down and worshiped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me and I will pay you all.

Mat 18:27  Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion and released him and forgave him the debt.

Mat 18:28  But the same servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. And he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me what you owe.

Mat 18:29  And his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, Have patience with me and I will pay you all.

Mat 18:30  And he would not, but went and cast him into prison until he should pay the debt.

Mat 18:31  So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were very sorry. And they came and told their lord all that was done.

Mat 18:32  Then his lord, after he had called him, said to him, O wicked servant, I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.

Mat 18:33  Should you not also have pitied your fellow servant, even as I had pity on you?

Mat 18:34  And his lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors until he should pay all that was due to him.

Mat 18:35  So likewise shall My heavenly Father do also to you, unless each one of you from your hearts forgive his brother their trespasses.

If you are not willing to forgive those who have hurt you in the past then you yourself will not be forgiven by Yehovah and you will have no one to blame for this but yourself.

If you’re going to continuously feed the anger so that the fire never goes out then what do you have? If on the other hand, you feed the love and compassionate side you will have something worth having.

Now if you will let me take this one step further.

Mal 4:4  Remember the Law of Moses My servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, the statutes and judgments.

Mal 4:5  Behold, I am sending you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Jehovah.

Mal 4:6  And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to their fathers, that I not come and strike the earth with utter destruction.

Which wolf are you feeding?

Are you steeped into conspiracy teachings and fighting with those who do not agree with you? Are you feeding that wolf in you? Ever learning about these things and never coming to the knowledge of Yehovah?

Godlessness in the Last Days

2Ti 3:1  Know this also, that in the last days grievous times will be at hand.

2Ti 3:2  For men will be self-lovers, money-lovers, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Ti 3:3  without natural affection, unyielding, false accusers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good,

2Ti 3:4  traitors, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

2Ti 3:5  having a form of godliness, but denying the power of it; even turn away from these.

2Ti 3:6  For of these are those who creep into houses and lead captive silly women loaded with sins, led away with different kinds of lusts,

2Ti 3:7  ever learning and never able to come to the full knowledge of the truth.

2Ti 3:8  But as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so these also resist the truth, men of corrupt mind, reprobate concerning the faith.

2Ti 3:9  But they shall proceed no further. For their foolishness shall be plain to all, as theirs also became.

And because some have such a love for the lies and half-truths they never come to the knowledge of Yehovah and as you are about to read, for this reason, Yehovah is going to give some of you over to those lies because you did not have a love for His truth.

The Man of Lawlessness

2Th 2:1  Now we beseech you, my brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,

2Th 2:2  that you should not be soon shaken in mind or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word or letter, as through us, as if the Day of Christ is at hand.

2Th 2:3  Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition,

2Th 2:4  who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself forth, that he is God.

2Th 2:5  Do you not remember that I told you these things when I was still with you?

2Th 2:6  And now you know what holds back, for him to be revealed in his own time.

2Th 2:7  For the mystery of lawlessness is already working, only he is now holding back until it comes out of the midst.

2Th 2:8  And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming,

2Th 2:9  whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

2Th 2:10  and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved.

2Th 2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie,

2Th 2:12  so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned.

It breaks my heart to see so many of the Brethren caught up in these things in which they have become the absolute experts about everything except TORAH! They are not teaching Torah. They are still at a basic level of understanding slightly above when they first began to understand. But ask them about the vaccine or the Nephilim or UFO’s and they can talk to you for hours.

The Parable of the Sower

Mat 13:1  In that day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the seaside.

Mat 13:2  And great crowds were gathered to Him, so that He went into a boat and sat. And all the crowd stood on the shore.

Mat 13:3  And He spoke many things to them in parables, saying, Behold, the sower went out to sow.

Mat 13:4  And as he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them.

Mat 13:5  Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth. And they sprang up immediately, because they had no deepness of earth.

Mat 13:6  And the sun rising, they were scorched, and because they had no root, they withered away.

Mat 13:7  And some fell among thorns. And the thorns sprung up and choked them.

Mat 13:8  And some fell on the good ground and yielded fruit, indeed one a hundredfold, and one sixty, and one thirty.

Mat 13:9  He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

The Purpose of the Parables

Mat 13:10  And the disciples said to Him, Why do You speak to them in parables?

Mat 13:11  He answered and said to them, Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.

Mat 13:12  For whoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance. But whoever does not have, from him shall be taken away even that which he has.

Mat 13:13  Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not; nor do they understand.

Mat 13:14  And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah which said, “By hearing you shall hear and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see and shall not perceive;

Mat 13:15  for this people’s heart has become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes, lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”

Mat 13:16  But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.

Mat 13:17  For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear what you hear, and have not heard them.

The Parable of the Sower Explained

Mat 13:18  Therefore hear the parable of the sower.

Mat 13:19  When anyone hears the Word of the kingdom and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown by the wayside.

Mat 13:20  But that which was sown on the stony places is this: he who hears the Word and immediately receives it with joy.

Mat 13:21  But he has no root in himself, and is temporary. For when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the Word, he immediately stumbles.

Mat 13:22  And that sown into the thorns is this: he who hears the Word; and the anxiety of this world, and the deceit of riches, choke the Word, and he becomes unfruitful.

Mat 13:23  But that sown on the good ground is this: he who hears the Word and understands; who also bears fruit and produces one truly a hundredfold; and one sixty; and one thirty.

The Parable of the Weeds
Mat 13:24  He put out another parable to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field.

Mat 13:25  But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel among the wheat and went his way.

Mat 13:26  But when the blade had sprung up and had produced fruit, then the darnel also appeared.

Mat 13:27  So the servants of the householder came and said to him, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then where have the darnel come from?

Mat 13:28  He said to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Then do you want us to go and gather them up?

Mat 13:29  But he said, No, lest while you gather up the darnel you also root up the wheat with them.

Mat 13:30  Let both grow together until the harvest. And in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, First gather together the darnel and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my granary.

Which field are you feeding? Which field are you planted in? Are the things that you are studying about, crowding out your time with Yehovah and His Torah? Is Torah boring to you to study? Have the weeds of the Nephilim and conspiracies choked out the Wheat of Torah in you?

I remind you again about what Paul says to the Thessalonians. There is coming a great falling away.

The word falling away is the word;

G646   (Strong)

ἀποστασία

apostasia

ap-os-tas-ee’-ah

Feminine of the same as G647; defection from truth (properly the state), (“apostasy”): – falling away, forsake.

And it means the abandonment or renunciation of a religious or political belief.

I do not think any of you are renouncing your faith in Yehovah. Not for a second. But from the things you say and the things you write you have abandoned your faith.

We recently posted a video about Aleph, Bet, Gimmel, Dalet and Chet. It was longer than the normal 7 minutes we aimed for. In it, we were showing you how the Chet is the curtain around the Mishkan. We showed you how the curtain, which is you, formed a wall around Yehovah, and when we missed the mark we had in fact missed or diverted our attention from Yehovah on to something else.

Idolatry is when we focus our love on something else other than Yehovah. We chet (miss the mark) when we are not focused on Yehovah. If we are focused on the Chet, the curtain we have missed the mark. If we are focused on everything else but Yehovah then we do not know HIm nor can we come to know Him.

The Parable of the Ten Virgins

Mat 25:1  Then shall the kingdom of Heaven be likened to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.

Mat 25:2  And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

Mat 25:3  The foolish ones took their lamps, but took no oil with them.

Mat 25:4  But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

Mat 25:5  While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

Mat 25:6  And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes! Go out to meet him.

Mat 25:7  Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.

Mat 25:8  And the foolish said to the wise, Give us someof your oil, for our lamps have gone out.

Mat 25:9  But the wise answered, saying, No, lest there be not enough for us and you. But rather go to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.

Mat 25:10  And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came. And they who were ready went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut.

Mat 25:11  Afterwards the other virgins came also, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

Mat 25:12  But he answered and said, Truly I say to you, I do not know you.

Mat 25:13  Therefore watch, for you do not know either the day or the hour in which the Son of Man comes.

Take notice that Yehovah says  I do not know you.

If we compare that to Matthew 7;

I Never Knew You

Mat 7:21  Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.

Mat 7:22  Many will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works?

Mat 7:23  And then I will say to them I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness!

In this version of those crying to be let in, Yehovah says I “never” knew you.

the word never is

G3763   (Strong)
οὐδέποτε

oudepote

oo-dep’-ot-eh

From G3761 and G4218; not even at any time, that is, never at all: – neither at any time, never, nothing at any time.

But in the Matthew 25 version Yehovah says, I know you not. And the word for Know is;

G1492   (Strong)
εἴδω

eidō

i’-do

A primary verb; used only in certain past tenses, the others being borrowed from the equivalent, G3700 and G3708; properly to see (literally or figuratively); by implication (in the perfect only) to know: – be aware, behold, X can (+ not tell), consider, (have) known (-ledge), look (on), perceive, see, be sure, tell, understand, wist, wot. Compare G3700.

So in Matt 7 Yehovah never knew those even though they thought they were doing great and mighty works. In Matt 25 Yehovah does not know them because He does not see them face to face. They spent the time to get the oil so they could see Him face to face. They did not invest their time into Yehovah. They missed the mark, they Chet.

Joh 9:31  But we know that God does not hear sinners, but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him.

And what is Yehovah’s will? That we keep the commandments!

Joh 14:21  He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.

Joh 10:25  Jesus answered them, I told you and you did not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me.

Joh 10:26  But you did not believe because you are not of My sheep. As I said to you,

Joh 10:27  My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Joh 10:28  And I give to them eternal life, and they shall never ever perish, and not anyone shall pluck them out of My hand.

Joh 10:29  My Father who gave them to me is greater than all, and no one is able to pluck them out of My Father’s hand.

Joh 10:30  I and the Father are one!

1Co 8:3  But if any one loves God, he has been known of him.

Gal 4:8  But then, indeed, not knowing God, you served as slaves to those not by nature being gods.

Gal 4:9  But now, knowing God, but rather are known by God, how do you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements to which you again desire to slave anew?

Each year as we keep the weekly 7 Day Sabbath, we are getting to know Yehovah. Our attention is on Him. What are you studying on the Sabbath?

When we keep the seven days of Unleavened Bread our attention is on knowing Yehovah. Are you deleavening your brains of the leaven of false information that puffs you up with knowledge from the tree of knowledge of good and evil? Yes, there is some good knowledge there but where does it lead you in the end?

When we count the 7 weeks of the Omer our attention is on Yehovah. We are getting to know Him. We focus on the things He has done and will do again at this time. We repledge our allegiance to Him.

When we keep each of the 7 Annual Holy Days our attention is on Yehovah and what He is going to do on those Holy Days.

We are to keep the 7 days of Sukkot and to focus our attention on Yehovah.

When we keep the Sabbatical years every 7th year our attention is on Yehovah and to learn what this means.

Our attention is on Yehovah when we keep the 8th Day Wave Sheaf offering and when we keep the 8th Shabbat Holy Days of Shavuot and when we keep Shemini Atzeret the 8th day after the 7 days of Sukkot and when we keep the 50th year Jubilee, which is the 8th Sabbatical year. We are doing all of this to get to know Yehovah and to see Him face to face. To understand Him and to know Him.

Psa 27:7  Hear, O Jehovah, when I cry with my voice; and have mercy on me, and answer me.

Psa 27:8  My heart says to You, Seek my face; Your face, O Jehovah, I will seek;

Psa 27:9  Hide not Your face from me. Turn not Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

Do you have the heart of David? A man who sought after Yehovah’s heart?

Psa 16:7  I will bless Jehovah, who has given me wisdom; my heart also instructs me in the nights.

Psa 16:8  I have set Jehovah always before Me; because He is at My right hand, I shall not be moved.

Psa 24:3  Who shall go up into the hill of Jehovah? Or who shall stand in His holy place?

Psa 24:4  He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, and has not sworn deceitfully.

Psa 24:5  He shall receive the blessing from Jehovah, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Psa 24:6  This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face, O God of Jacob. Selah.

Revelation speaks of those who seek His face. But read what you are told in Ezekiel first. Yehovah wants to teach us face to face.

Eze 20:33  As I live, says the Lord Jehovah, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, I will reign over you.

Eze 20:34  And I will bring you out from the people, and I will gather you out of the lands in which you are scattered among them, with a mighty hand and with a stretched out arm and with fury poured out.

Eze 20:35  And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face.

Eze 20:36  Just as I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will enter into judgment with you, says the Lord Jehovah.

Notice in Revelation the 144,000 do not lie nor spread lies.

Rev 14:2  And I heard a voice from Heaven, like the voice of many waters and like the voice of a great thunder. And I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps.

Rev 14:3  And they sang as it were a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousands who were redeemed from the earth.

Rev 14:4  These are those who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, as a firstfruit to God and to the Lamb.

Rev 14:5  And in their mouth was found no guile, for they were without blemish before the throne of God.

Take the things you now are focused on and bring them to Yehovah. Listen to what He has to say about them. And decide what you need to be focused on. It is not the chet, the curtain around the Mishkan, the sin that misses the mark. It is Yehovah that you should seek.

Isa 45:18  For so says Jehovah the Creator of the heavens, He is God, forming the earth and making it; He makes it stand, not creating it empty, but forming it to be inhabited. I am Jehovah, and there is no other.

Isa 45:19  I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth. I did not say to the seed of Jacob, Seek me in vain. I Jehovah speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

Isa 45:20  Gather yourselves and come; draw near together, escaped ones of the nations; those who set up the wood of their graven image, and those that pray to a god that cannot save. They know nothing.

Isa 45:21  Declare and bring near; yea, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this of old? Whohas told it from then? Is it not I, Jehovah? And there isno other God besides Me; a just God and a Savior; there is none besides Me.

Isa 45:22  Turn to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.

Isa 45:23  I have sworn by Myself, the word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Isa 45:24  He says, Only in Jehovah do I have righteousness and strength; even to Him he comes. And they are ashamed, all who are angry with Him.

Isa 45:25  In Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

Your idols may be of wood or stone, and they may be of where you spend your time studying. Yehovah is telling you to focus on Him. You know how little time is left. You know how all things are about to be destroyed. And you know when Satan will be locked away. With so little time left when we do have the freedom to study, why do you not focus on Yehovah?

Jer 29:11  For I know the purposes which I am purposing for you, says Jehovah; purposes of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Jer 29:12  Then you shall call on Me, and you shall go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

Jer 29:13  And you shall seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Jer 29:14  And I will be found by you, says Jehovah; and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you, says Jehovah. And I will bring you again into the place from where I caused you to be exiled.

You will find Him if you seek His face. You will find Him when you spend time looking for Him. You will find Him when you stop sharing lies and half-truths and begin to dive deeper into His word by opening up His Torah. Pick a subject and focus on it and become an expert at say, the life of David. Can you teach about all the Jubilee years known to us today? Can you explain the pattern of 8 and what they mean? The pattern of sevening and what it means. What does letting the land rest do for the land and for our food? Become an expert on Yehovah and His Torah. The things you can use throughout the coming 7th Millennium.

Every single one of you ought to be teachers right now. We need more labourers and yet few of you barely know more than the new people joining this walk. And that tells you how little time you are putting towards learning about our Father.

This Father’s day, and every day from now on, honour your Father in Heaven. Turn your attention toward Him and seek out HIs face so that you know Him. We already have the COVID curse for the past year and a half. We are feeling the pains of a severe drought. We are warned that famine is coming. It is in the days news.

Turn back to Yehovah lest He comes and smites the earth with yet another curse and many more die.

Mal 4:5  Behold, I am sending you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Jehovah.

Mal 4:6  And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to their fathers, that I not come and strike the earth with utter destruction.

thank you for reminding us to love those who are difficult in our lives. Thank you Joe.. I too come from abuse.. but respecting and honouring is MY response. I don’t return what is given to me.. I don’t retaliate, I don’t lower myself to their wounded state.. I have let YHVH heal me, I have felt HIS love and received it.. and now I can give out that love.

Here is some more information of events that began on the 9th of Av. We spoke of this last week and mention that it is just two days from now

    Other calamities[edit]
Over time, Tisha B’Av has come to be a Jewish day of mourning, not only for these events, but also for later tragedies which occurred on or near the 9th of Av. References to some of these events appear in liturgy composed for Tisha B’Av (see below).

The First Crusade officially commenced on August 15, 1096 (Av 24, AM 4856), killing 10,000 Jews in its first month and destroying Jewish communities in France and the Rhineland.[9][11]
The Jews were expelled from England on July 18, 1290 (Av 9, AM 5050).[9]
The Jews were expelled from France on July 22, 1306 (Av 10, AM 5066).[12]
The Jews were expelled from Spain on July 31, 1492 (Av 7, AM 5252).[10]
Germany entered World War I on August 1–2, 1914 (Av 9–10, AM 5674), which caused massive upheaval in European Jewry and whose aftermath led to the Holocaust.[9]
On August 2, 1941 (Av 9, AM 5701), SS commander Heinrich Himmler formally received approval from the Nazi Party for “The Final Solution.” As a result, the Holocaust began during which almost one third of the world’s Jewish population perished.[13]
On July 23, 1942 (Av 9, AM 5702), began the mass deportation of Jews from the Warsaw Ghetto, en route to Treblinka.[13]
The AMIA bombing, of the Jewish community center in Buenos Aires, killed 85 and injured 300 on July 18, 1994 (10 Av, AM 5754).[14]
The Israeli disengagement from Gaza began in the Gaza Strip, expelling 8000 Jews who lived in Gush Katif; August 15, 2005; 10 Av, 5765.[15]
While the Holocaust spanned a number of years, most religious communities use Tisha B’Av to mourn its 6,000,000 Jewish victims, in addition to or instead of the secular Holocaust Memorial Days. On Tisha B’Av, communities which otherwise do not modify the traditional prayer liturgy have added the recitation of special kinnot related to the Holocaust.

    Shalom Joseph,

What a wonderful Newsletter for Fathersday! You are so right that fathersday should be about Jehovah, the ultimate Father of all of mankind. You also gave us a fine example of forgiveness toward your own neglectful & abusive father, as well the example of exemplary restraint towards your mother whenever she berated her husband and your father. Furthermore, you revealed your own fatherheart in the way you care about the sheep Jehovah has placed into your care through the Sighted Moon Ministry. You reputedly can come across rather harsh, yet it is so clear that you deeply care about your international flock, it really comes through
in this letter. Well done thou good and faithful servant!

Shalom Herman, there is a ton of information out there about the vaccine. A lot of false information mixed with the truth. This week Israel just recorded its first week with no deaths. They have a high percentage of the population vaccinated. Death rates in the USA are also dropping as the vaccination rates increase. Although the USA had the highest number of deaths there are a number of other nations with a higher percentage of deaths per 100, 000 people. The stats are showing that the more people who get vaccinated the number of deaths are dropping off.
With the latest Indian variant or Delta variant, it spreads faster and is more deadly. In the UK the newest wave is amongst those who are not vaccinated and they are all infected with the delta variant.
Right now certain countries are opening up travel to those who are vaccinated with the double shot.

I am not a Doctor, nor do I pretend to be. But the evidence is showing me that if you want to travel and if you want to reduce the odds of dying from the variant of Delta, you need to get the double shot which is spread out over a couple of months. Those who don’t get the vaccine remain at risk of contracting the disease and dying from it. If you have the double vaccine, you may still get sick but you most likely will not end up in intensive care and or dying from it.

Look at the stats. How many people died from the vaccine. I want to say 16 or so. But let’s make it 1000 for argument’s sake. Now how many are dying from not getting the vaccine and who contracted the virus? 178 million have contracted the virus and 4 million have died. Worldwide.
Up until the start of Covid in order to travel to many countries, you had to first go to your Health center to see what shots you had to have to enter that country. It was not an issue. You just got the shots and got on the plane and went.
But now with such a large part of the population involved in disinformation from social media, no one trusts anyone about anything anymore, everyone is an expert based on the latest youtube video. Step away from the hype and look at the facts and then decide if you want to leave doors open that will be available to those with the vaccine shot or close them and not get the vaccine.
