There just isn’t a better book on Christian prophecy than this! What an eye opener!

Of the many books and articles that I have read on prophecy in my personal search for truth, this is the only one that does not rely on old ideas that were developed hundreds of years ago when knowledge was minimal. So much more has been learned through historical and archeological research. The world has changed so much that before now no one could have clearly envisioned how prophecy might play out.

I think the average Christian doesn’t realize that recent developments in technology and huge increases in knowledge offer us a unique opportunity to raise the veil so that we might see clearly what was once hidden behind a dark glass.

After learning about these things and seriously considering the Bible, with a willingness to set aside my traditional beliefs about prophecy, I have come to the conclusion that this book is inspired by God. The Stones Cry Out Part 1 & Part 2

In The Stones Cry Out, I walk you through the history of each change and why those changes came about, starting with the Maccabean days. Yes, it all began around 164 B.C. When Yehshua was here, he was dealing with two schools of thought. The Sadducees were all but wiped out when the Temple fell in 70 C.E. This left only the Pharisees, who began to be persecuted after the failure of the Bar Kochbah Revolt in 134 C.E.

The truth began to become out of focus around 160 C.E. when Rabbi Jose wrote the Seder Olam. This work originally was written to proof Simon Bar Kochbah was the Messiah. When that did not pan out the history was later revived and then redacted as the truth into the Mishneh Torah by Rabbi Judah ha Nasi in 180 C.E. After this the Jerusalem Talmud begins to debate these issues. It was then during this time as the Jerusalem Talmudist are forced to flee and the Babylonian Talmudist continue to grow until the 6th century that Hillel came up with a solution to help them keep the Holy Days at the proper time while they were out of the land of Israel. He did this in 358 C.E. This work was then modified and adjusted over the next 800 years with additions added and other rejected. Until it was finally redacted once again in 1177 by Rambam. And with that we now have the modern Hillel calendar which includes the errors passed on during each redaction. These errors included the time of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years.

Once the Temple was destroyed in 70 C.E., the Jews recorded time by counting from the time It was destroyed. This is why the 40 tombstones of Zoar, which record this information, are crucial to understand.

When you understand why the Postponement rules were first created so that the crescent moon would not be seen in another part of the world before it was seen in Israel then you can understand how they were still trying to follow the crescent moon to begin the month. The Tombstones show us this exact thing. The tombstones also show us when the Jews changed from a crescent moon to a Conjunction moon to begin the month. They also show us when the Jews changed the year from the month of Aviv to the Tishri to begin the year.

I really want you to understand these things so you know why you do what you do as far as following a calendar to keep Yehovah’s moedim.

Most people assume that Hillel created the calendar in 358 C.E. They then assume that because it was a Sanhedrin, they are not allowed to change in order to obey Yehovah. The Hillel calendar has been changed many times since 358 C.E. up until 1177 C.E. Few people talk about these changes but we do in our latest Book The Stones Cry Out Part 1 which is free on our website. The Hillel calendar was changed on many occasions and many sought to make other changes during this time. They never needed a Bet Din to approve those changes. They just did them. So this excuse that we do not have the right to obey Yehovah because the Bet Din has not approved it is a crock of crap.
You have the obligation to obey Yehovah. You have the duty to prove which calendar you are to go by. You must prove it beyond all doubt. Yehshua never followed the Hillel calendar. Nor did any of the Apostles.
The reason no man can know the day or the hour is because it refers to a crescent moon to begin the 7th month. That is the day He was born on and the day He comes to judge on. At a day and hour no one can know. Using the Hillel calendar predicts Yom Teruah years in advance so every one knows when to keep it. But even in the Hillel calendar they keep two days of Yom Teruah reckoning back to the sighted moon. Also in the postponement rules developed long after Hillel, they again state that if the conjunction is at a certain time then the day begins at such and such, in order that the moon will not be seen in another part of the world before it is seen in Israel. That was rule number 2.
Everyone has to choose. You have the right to be wrong. But if you choose to be wrong then you also must live with the consequences that come with sin. And that is the death penalty for not keeping the Holy Days, these Sabbath at the proper time. It is your choice.
Just because you write in to me to justify your position does mean it is right. It just means your sounding off.

As I began to write The Stones Cry Out, I quickly found myself going back, time and time again, to explain how the calendar is behind the confusion of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. The Rabbis, as they began to write the Mishnah, incorporated wrong understandings, and those errors were written into what became known as the Talmud and then the Mishneh Torah. The expulsion from the land and subsequent persecutions in trying to send out messengers to report the barley being found or the crescent moon being seen, proved to be more and more dangerous over time. All of these things took place over 14 centuries.

Then as I was working on The Stones Cry Out, I discovered that many people were now accepting the Zadok calendar as factual. This is when we pivoted to include all the details of the various calendars that have crept back into public knowledge today and are being used to mislead new people who are just starting to learn about the calendar. All of this was directly connected to the period starting with the Hasmonaeans, up to the destruction of the Temple. Then, with the compiling of the Mishnah, the studies that led into the writing of the Jerusalem Talmud, then the Babylonian Talmud and finally the Mishneh Torah, each error that was added is compounded over time.

The Stones Cry Out, Part 1 explains the history of how each compilation of the Oral Torah incorporated errors, leading the followers thereof away from the actual Torah. In understanding these facts, it is then possible to understand more readily how the Sabbatical and Jubilee years were then mixed and later changed. By explaining all this history, I will be able to help you the reader understand the tombstones when most authorities do not. They have assumed, to their error, the Hillel calendar to have always been in use since Mount Sinai. Not understanding the history of the calendars is why most authorities dismiss the tombstones as too confusing to use. Once you understand The Stones Cry Out Part 1, Part 2 will be very easy to grasp.

Daniel 7:25 tells us he will change the appointed seasons and commandments. Many assume Constantine did this when he made Sunday the Sabbath. Few have considered the calendar’s many changes and how they relate to us today. Hidden in this proverbial swamp of confusion is the truth about the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. The Sabbatical and Jubilee years reveal the truths about the calendar that have been hidden for almost 2000 years.

We are in the very last days and Yehshua warned us that during this time:

Mat 24:10 And then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.

Mat 24:11 And many false prophets will rise and deceive many.

Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will become cold.

Mat 24:13 But he who endures to the end, the same shall be kept safe.

Paul also warned Timothy about these last days, warning that some would leave the truth and begin to follow demonic teachers:

1Ti 4:1 But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons,

Paul again warned the Thessalonians that the Great Falling away would take place in the last days. How can you fall away if you have never come to know the truth? So who is Paul talking to? Those who are called and answer that calling begin to walk this road of restoration back to Yehovah, and then at some point along that walk, they change and leave this walk following the teachings of demons to false calendar.

2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, my brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,

2Th 2:2 that you should not be soon shaken in mind or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word or letter, as through us, as if the Day of Christ is at hand.

2Th 2:3 Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition,

2Th 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself forth, that he is God.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and you and I are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s, Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

A Stinking, Thieving, Rebellious Corruption

That Has Nothing to Do With Torah

Before anything else, let me speak from the heart.

My Dad was a police officer serving on foot patrol and clearing up bar fights.
My cousin—who looks so much like me, people mistake us for brothers—served as a police officer and SWAT team instructor.
My brother-in-law also served as a police officer for 52 Division in Toronto. A very rough area.

These men in blue put their lives on the line daily to protect innocent people from criminals, violence, and chaos. They uphold the law, keep the peace, and ensure that families can sleep safely in their homes at night. The uniform they wore represented order, justice, and the rule of law—principles that allow any society to function. 

This movement—this Sovereign Citizen / Freeman-on-the-Land lie—produces people who have been found guilty of murdering our officers. They have ambushed them and shot them at routine road stops. These “Freemen” have been recorded ramming their vehicles into police cars and filing billion-dollar liens against judges who sit in authority to destroy them financially. These sovereign citizens declared our police, judges and administrators, as well as those holding government offices, as “enemy combatants” for daring to uphold the laws that keep the rest of us safe.

I have ignored this crazy subject for years, placing it in the same category as the idiots who believe in the Flat Earth lies. But early last week I received an email from someone who has now come to Sightedmoon and left because we would not let them talk about this dangerous theology. A mindset that is willing to kill those in authority and my kin. This hits close to home for me. It strikes at the heart. But after that crazy email, I did begin to search into this subject, which I am now going to present to you, my readers. I have zero tolerance for conspiracy teachings, and this subject is not to be tolerated in the least anymore.

Sightedmoon.com has tolerated many people with difficult ideas over the years. We have welcomed seekers of all backgrounds. We have listened to, investigated, and examined claims from individuals on every fringe imaginable—because we believe in proving all things. But once I have proven something, I do not need to rehash it over and over with each new person who brings this “newfound information” to my attention. Been there, done that, not wasting my time on that crap again.

There is a line that must be drawn and cannot be crossed.
I will not tolerate people who justify or promote ideologies that lead to dead police officers.
We cannot tolerate those who reject Yehovah’s commands in favour of man-made fantasies rooted in rebellion.

Let me make this completely clear for everyone and for all time.

If anyone on earth claims to follow Sightedmoon.com while simultaneously spouting Sovereign Citizen nonsense, they are lying—either about themselves or about us. There is no third option.

What the Sovereign Citizen / Freeman-on-the-Land Movement Actually Is

These is two of the symbols used by Sovereigntists to show they belong to this movement.

And here are the licence plates they put on their vehicles, which are for sale on Amazon. The silliness of it is, why get a licence at all if you’re not under the state authority?

I am not going to present every detail about this movement in this article. You can read all about it at WIKI and this link.

The Sovereign Citizen movement did not come from Torah, humility, or obedience. It came out of racism, extremism, anti-government rage, and Christian-identity heresy.

Historically, the ideology traces back to the early 1970s in the United States, to a group called Posse Comitatus, founded by William Potter Gale, a Christian Identity preacher and former John Birch Society member. Posse Comitatus was openly white supremacist and antisemitic. It taught that:

• White, “Christian” Americans were the true Israel.

• The federal government and income tax were illegitimate tools of Jewish control.

• Only county sheriffs and “common law” had real authority.

Out of that stew of racism and conspiracy came the idea of the “sovereign citizen”—someone who claims to be above federal and state law and subject only to a fantasy version of “common law” they themselves define.

From there, the ideology evolved and spread:

• In the United States, it combined with anti-tax activism and the militia movement.

• In Canada, it became “Freemen-on-the-Land,” spreading the same doctrines under a different name.

• In Australia and New Zealand, similar ideas appeared, often under the Freeman or sovereign banner, targeting courts and police with pseudo-legal “paper terrorism.”

Their core doctrines, repeated like a catechism, are:

• The government is not a legitimate state but a private corporation.

• Your birth certificate supposedly created a “strawman” in ALL CAPS that is a separate legal entity.

• The “real you,” made of flesh and blood, can “opt out” of laws, taxes, licences, and courts by filing special documents or uttering magic phrases.

• Saying “I do not consent,” refusing to sign anything, declaring “admiralty law,” or filing fake liens that supposedly strip the courts and officers of authority.

Every part of this is legal fiction and fantasy.

Courts across the English-speaking world have rejected these arguments for decades. In Canada, the landmark decision Meads v. Meads (2012) devoted 135 pages to dissecting such ideas, labelling them “Organized Pseudolegal Commercial Arguments” and warning that they are abusive, frivolous, and destined to fail. Judges have sanctioned adherents, declared them vexatious litigants, and warned the public not to follow them.

They have never won a case by using these theories.
Not once. Not anywhere.

They Are Thieves Who Want Everything for Free

Sovereign Citizens proudly declare they do not have to pay taxes. They claim “God’s law” or “common law” excuses them from contributing to the very society they live in.

But what do those taxes pay for?

• Roads and bridges: Every lane of asphalt, every highway they speed down with homemade plates.

• Traffic lights and signs: The system that prevents chaos and collisions.

• Water and sewage plants: The ability to drink clean water and flush waste safely.

• Electrical grids and emergency services: Power in their homes; firefighters who show up when a house is burning; ambulances when someone collapses.

• Police services: Officers—like my father, cousin, and brother-in-law—who step between innocent people and criminals.

• Courts and judges: So disputes can be resolved without guns and knives.

• Military defence: The armies and navies that prevented Hitler, Imperial Japan, the Soviets, ISIS and others from marching into our countries and enslaving our families.

Every one of these things costs money. Every single one is paid for from our taxes.

To say “I am sovereign, I owe no taxes” is to say:

“I will take all the benefits of society, but I will not help pay for them. Let others bear the burden. I will ride for free.”

This is not holiness. It is theft dressed up in religious rhetoric.

The Torah is clear: you shall not steal. You shall not covet what belongs to your neighbour. Hiding behind pseudo-legal nonsense while you drain resources others pay for is just another way of breaking that commandment.

Our Ancestors Chose This System — And Samuel Warned Them About the Cost

Some Sovereign Citizens like to talk as if government itself is an illegitimate idea—always tyrannical, always satanic. But Scripture tells a different story.

In 1 Samuel 8, the people of Israel demanded a king. Samuel warned them exactly what that would mean:

• Taxes on their grain and vineyards.

• Taxes on their flocks.

• Conscription of their sons into the army.

• Labour demands on their daughters.

• Seizure of fields and vineyards for royal use.

In other words: a state, with the costs that come with it.

Yet the people said, “No, but we will have a king over us.” They chose the system. Yehovah allowed it. He told them plainly what it would cost, and they accepted it anyway.

We live today in a world shaped by centuries of such choices. Our ancestors voted, fought, legislated, and built the institutions we now inhabit. Governments are imperfect—sometimes very corrupt—but they exist under Yehovah’s sovereign permission.

To insist, “I can opt out of all that; no taxes, no obligation, no submission,” is to pretend you can escape the consequences of decisions made both by ancient Israel and by your own national ancestors. It is not brave. It is not prophetic. It is escapist fantasy.

The Waste of a Lifetime Chasing a Fake God

Consider what Sovereign Citizens sacrifice for their illusion of “sovereignty”:

• Endless hours watching pseudo-legal videos on YouTube.

• Late nights memorizing nonsense phrases to recite in court.

• Whole weekends wasted drafting fake liens and bogus documents.

• Years of stress, arrests, fines, and court sanctions.

• Not being able to drive because they have no driver’s licence.

All that time could have been spent:

• Studying Torah.

• Learning the Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles.

• Teaching children the ways of Yehovah.

• Preparing spiritually for the coming Kingdom.

Instead, their “god” becomes a paper idol—the mythical strawman, the magical trust, the secret account. Their obsession becomes: “How can I get everything for free, with no obligations, by discovering secret legal tricks?” They have syncretized this with the Bible. The very thing I have been harping on for the past month in all of my newsletters.

It is idolatry of the self and of paperwork.

The Fruit of This Movement: Violence, Death, and Terror

The Sovereign Citizen ideology has a long and bloody history of violence.

Law-enforcement agencies—from local police to the FBI—have been warning for years that Sovereign Citizens present a growing domestic threat to officers and public officials. An FBI bulletin called them a “growing domestic threat to law enforcement,” noting that while many begin with paperwork and fraud, their behaviour often escalates to physical confrontation. A later FBI reference guide on Sovereign Citizen violent extremism stresses that adherents can move from pseudo-legal harassment to deadly attacks.

This is not theoretical. It is a documented reality.

Recent years have seen high-profile cases in countries like Australia, where a man influenced by sovereign ideology murdered police officers and prompted national concern about this “dangerous” movement and its explosive potential.

Courts, police, and anti-extremism researchers consistently warn that Sovereign Citizen beliefs turn routine civil life—traffic enforcement, taxes, court orders—into tinderboxes. Ordinary encounters become potential flashpoints because the adherent views every officer, judge, and administrator as a sworn enemy of their imagined sovereignty, rather than as ministers of order.

This is not peaceful civil disobedience. It is murderous rebellion disguised as legal sophistication.

And by their fruits, we know them.

Is the Sovereign Citizen Movement Growing Faster Among Christian Bible Advocates?

Sadly, yes—in some corners, especially since 2020, the Sovereign Citizen movement has been growing among certain self-described Christian or Bible-focused groups. Not the mainstream body of Bible-believing Christians, but fringe circles: “Christian Patriot” groups, Christian Identity adherents, and conspiracy-driven end-times communities.

Historical Roots: Christian Identity and “Christian Patriots”

From the beginning, Sovereign ideology wasn’t “neutral.” It grew out of Posse Comitatus, a white supremacist, Christian Identity group. Christian Identity theology teaches that:

• White Europeans are the “true Israel.”

• Jews are impostors or even satanic.

• The federal government is a tool of a satanic, global conspiracy.

Within that framework, the so-called “common law” was recast as God’s true law, supposedly above all statutory law. The Bible was quoted out of context, the Magna Carta was mythologized, and tax resistance was portrayed as obedience to God rather than rebellion against lawful authority.

Christian Patriot and militia movements picked this up in the 1980s–1990s, merging it with anti-tax, anti-fed rhetoric. Many groups adopted Gale’s concept of “individual sovereignty,” which later flowed directly into the modern Sovereign Citizen movement.

In other words: the DNA of Sovereign ideology was religious from the start—but religious in a corrupted, racist, conspiratorial way.

Numbers and Reach

A 2019 scholarly analysis estimated over 100,000 active adherents in the United States and about 30,000 in Canada even before 2020, with indications that the movement was growing. Since then, reports from groups monitoring extremism suggest that Sovereign-style ideas have spread further into:

• Militia and anti-government circles.

• QAnon and other conspiracy communities.

• Some “Patriot” and fringe church spaces, where pastors or lay teachers talk about “Common Law” or “God’s law” in ways that mirror Sovereign rhetoric.

It remains a fringe phenomenon, not representative of mainstream churches or standard Bible-believing congregations. But it is growing within certain radical subcultures that already distrust institutions and gravitate toward conspiracy theories.

The COVID-19 Effect and Online Radicalization

The COVID-19 pandemic poured fuel on the fire:

• Lockdowns, mandates, and emergency laws were portrayed in extremist circles as “end-times tyranny,” easily tied to Revelation 13’s “mark of the beast.”

• QAnon and similar movements exploded online, especially among some evangelicals and prophecy-focused Christians, weaving together vaccine conspiracies, globalist plots, and apocalyptic expectations.

• Sovereign Citizen rhetoric—“I do not consent,” “unlawful corporate government,” “God’s law vs man’s law”—was repackaged as a Christian response to perceived tyranny.

Research on Sovereign Citizen communities on platforms like Telegram shows that Bible references often appear among Sovereign-oriented channels, reflecting an explicitly Christian or pseudo-Christian identity in some spaces.

In Hebrew Roots and end-times prophecy circles, some voices have tried to blend Torah with Sovereign pseudolaw, claiming:

• “Torah is higher than man’s law, therefore no government has authority over me.”

• “Romans 13 only applies if the government is righteous.”

• “Licences, taxes, and statutes are ‘slavery’ I can reject because I serve God alone.”

This is not biblical submission to Yehovah. It is simply repackaged rebellion.

Why It Appeals to Some Bible Advocates

Sovereign ideology appeals to certain Christians and Bible students because it offers:

• A clear enemy: “the government” or “the system.”

• Secret knowledge: a feeling of being among the few who “really understand” law and prophecy.

• A way to sanctify anger: turning frustration, bitterness, and financial hardship into “holy resistance” instead of repentance and perseverance.

But in doing so, it twists:

• Romans 13 from “submit to governing authorities” into “resist them because they’re satanic.”

• Yeshua’s “render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s” into “render nothing; Caesar is illegitimate.”

• Torah’s commands about judges, elders, and communal order into a justification for lawless individualism.

The result is syncretism: Torah plus conspiracy plus pride.

The Dangers for Bible and Hebrew Roots Believers

For those who love the Scriptures, the danger is subtle and deadly:

• Time theft: Thousands of hours that should be spent in Torah, prayer, family, and service are squandered on videos, pseudo-legal essays, court fights, and social media arguments.

• Spiritual drift: Focus moves from repentance, obedience, and holiness to “rights,” “claims,” and “secrets.”

• Community division: Fellow believers are split as some adopt Sovereign talking points and others insist on Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2.

• Exposure to violent extremism: Law-enforcement reports show overlapping rhetoric between Sovereign circles and domestic terrorism, including cases that explicitly invoke Christian language.

In short: it is poison in Hebrew Roots and Bible circles. It distracts from true restoration and faithful obedience and drags people into bitterness, paranoia, and sometimes violence.

Sovereign Citizens Are the Very Definition of Hamashchith

2 Kings 23:13 describes how the Mount of Olives—once har ha-mishchah, the Mount of Anointing—became har ha-mashchith, the Mount of Corruption, when Solomon built altars to false gods there.

Say har ha-mashchith quickly and it sounds like “I’m a shit.”

That is what this movement is: a corruption of whatever it touches.

It claims to honour Torah while throwing out Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2.
It claims to love justice while defrauding society.
It claims to honour Yehovah while rejecting the authorities He allows.

Outwardly it speaks of “law,” “rights,” and sometimes even “Torah.” Inwardly it is rebellion, theft, and self-worship. It is Hamashchith—anointed language covering over a rotting heart.

Yehovah’s Plain Commands — Not Man’s Opinions

What does Yehovah actually say?

• Romans 13:1–7 – Every soul is to be subject to the governing authorities; there is no authority except from God. Those who resist bring judgment on themselves. Taxes are to be paid because rulers are “God’s ministers” attending to this very thing.

• 1 Peter 2:13–17 – Submit yourselves to every human institution for the Lord’s sake, whether to the king or to governors. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

• Titus 3:1 – Be subject to rulers and authorities, obey, and be ready for every good work.

• 1 Timothy 2:1–2 – Pray for kings and all who are in authority so that we may live peaceful, godly lives.

And in the Tanakh:

• Jeremiah 27:6 – Yehovah calls Nebuchadnezzar, pagan king of Babylon, “My servant.”

• Isaiah 45:1 – Yehovah calls Cyrus, king of Persia, “My anointed”, because He would use Cyrus to accomplish His purposes.

If Yehovah can call pagan emperors His servant and His anointed, then no one today can claim that modern governments are automatically illegitimate “corporations” with no authority over them.

The biblical pattern is:

1. Yehovah appoints authorities—even flawed ones.

2. We are commanded to submit, honour, and pray for them, unless they directly command us to sin.

3. Rebellion on the basis of pride and conspiracy is condemned, not praised.

Sovereign Citizen theology does the opposite: it calls submission “slavery” and rebellion “holiness.”

What do we teach?

• Keep the Sabbatical and Jubilee years as commanded.

• Keep the sighted-moon and Aviv-barley calendar.

• Call on the name יהוה (Yehovah).

• Honour rulers.

• Pray for those in authority.

• Render to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to Yehovah what belongs to Yehovah.

• Prepare for the coming Kingdom by obeying the King of Kings now.

We have never taught tax rebellion.
We have never taught people to fight police or courts.
We have never taught anyone to “opt out” of lawful obligation.

We seek to live peaceably, obeying Yehovah and obeying the authorities He has placed over us, unless obeying them would directly force us to disobey Him.

Sovereign Citizens vs. Flat-Earthers and Other Fringe Conspiracies

In many ways, the Sovereign Citizen movement is a legal version of Flat Earth:

• Flat-Earthers reject centuries of clear evidence and science. Sovereigns reject centuries of legal development and court rulings.

• Flat-Earthers build elaborate, fragile systems of pseudo-science to justify their disbelief. Sovereigns build elaborate pseudo-legal systems to justify lawlessness.

• Both movements attract people who crave hidden knowledge and a sense of superiority over “the deceived masses.”

But Sovereign Citizens are more dangerous:

• Flat Earth rarely leads to dead police officers.

• Sovereign beliefs have already done so 29 times.

Both are conspiratorial. Both twist facts. Both reject established truth. But Sovereign ideology wraps itself in “God’s law” and Torah language, making it especially seductive—and especially deadly—for Bible-believers who are not grounded in Romans 13, 1 Peter 2, and the examples of Jeremiah and Isaiah.

Final Warning

If anyone ever again tries to link Sightedmoon.com with Sovereign Citizen or Freeman-on-the-Land ideology, know this:

• They are bearing false witness.

• They are misrepresenting our teachings.

• They are aligning themselves with a movement rooted in racism, deception, theft, and rebellion.

This movement:

• Stinks of corruption and death.

• Has murdered police officers.

• Has ruined families.

• Has never succeeded in court using its own theories.

• Is rejected by law, by sound theology, and by anyone who truly honours Yehovah’s Word.

We reject it utterly—with every fibre of our being.

Stay far away from it.
Stay with Yehovah.
Stay with Torah.
Honour the authorities He has allowed, and prepare your heart for the return of the true King.

To Pursue Sovereignty is a Rebellion Against Yehovah

Sovereignty or Freeman. The concept is neither new or foreign to me. I first heard of the concept in 2006 and have researched it off and on since. In 2014 I invested a fair bit of time in the study of sovereignty and was astounded by the amount of deception within the legal system and their manipulation of the English language. At that point in my search for truth, it became clear to me that we men have been deceived since time forgotten and that our enslavement to evil men is nearly as old as time itself. With this knowledge came a check in my spirit concerning sovereignty. I was, probably due to laziness, unable to reconcile the concept with scripture, and thus never concluded my study, nor did I pursue my own “sovereignty.”

I recently came to know an individual of the faith who identified themself as a sovereign. This person professed to be subject only to the law of YHVH and free from the laws of men. Ironically, this person possesses a driver’s license and various forms of government identification while operating in and using the very monetary system used to enslave man. I will touch on this again later. At the time of meeting this person, I was excited, and if I’m honest, my laziness kicked in. I found somebody who could show me how this information could be used and remain faithful to the law of YHVH. That unfortunately was not the case; rather, I heard the same definitions and semantics that I had heard from all the other teachers that I had heard speak on the subject. I found the only scripture being used in support of sovereignty to be loosely quoted or, in my opinion, being pulled wildly out of context.

Finally, it became obvious to me that it was time for me to conquer my laziness and seek YHVH diligently and to test the very idea of sovereignty against scripture alone. The one thought that kept coming to my soul and weighing more and more on my soul as time passed was this: “Only one is sovereign, and he is YHVH.” I was told by one individual that perhaps I was getting hung up on the word “sovereign,” but the spirit would not allow me to do otherwise. The question of who is sovereign is at the heart of the matter regardless of what name one tacks on to this philosophy, which is exactly what I have come to believe; through the study of scripture, this movement is nothing more than vain philosophy.

Colossians 2:8 See that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human
tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to messiah.

We men, the sons of Israel, are in captivity, scattered among the nations, as per the word of YHVH delivered by the prophet Moses. We are under judgement for the sins of a nation, and we cannot save ourselves. We must repent and seek his righteousness with all our being, then wait on the salvation of our Elohim.

Deuteronomy 28:16 But if you will not obey the voice of YHVH your Elohim or be careful to do all his commandments and his statutes that I command you today, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you.

Deuteronomy 28:32-36 Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people, while your eyes look on and fail with longing for them all day long, but you shall be helpless a nation that you have not known shall eat up the fruit of your ground and all the labors, and you shall be only oppressed and crushed continually so that you are driven mad by the sights that your eyes see. YHVH will strike you on the knees and on the legs with grievous boils which cannot be healed from the sole of your foot to the crown of your head. YHVH will bring you and your king whom you set over you to a nation that neither you nor your fathers have known. And there you shall serve other Elohim of wood and stone.

Deuteronomy 29:18-21 Beware lest there be among you a man or woman or clan or tribe whose heart is turning away today from YHVH your Elohim to go and serve the Elohim of those nations. Beware lest there be among you a root bearing poisonous or bitter fruit, one who when he hears the words of this covenant, blesses himself in his heart saying,” I shall be safe, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart.” This will lead to the sweeping away of moist and dry alike. YHVH will not be willing to forgive him, but rather the anger of YHVH and his jealousy will smoke against that man, and the curses written in this book will settle upon him, and YHVH will blot out his name from under heaven. And YHVH will single him out from all the tribes of Israel for calamity, in accordance with all the curses of the covenant written in this book of the law.

Scripture is clear that the kings of the nations are YHVH’s servants exercising judgment on his people who broke his covenant.

Jeremiah 25:8-9 Therefore, thus says YHVH of host. Because you have not obeyed my words behold, I will send for all the tribes of the north declares YHVH, and for Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these surrounding nations. I will devote them to destruction, and make them a horror, a hissing and an everlasting desolation.

Jeremiah 27:6 Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, my servant, and I have given him also the beasts of the field to serve him.

2 Kings 17:6-7 In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria captured Samaria, and he carried the Israelites away to Assyria and placed them in Hala, and on the Habor, the river of Gozan and in the cities of the Medes. This occurred because the people of Israel had sinned against YHVH their Elohim who had brought them up out of the land of Egypt from under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt and had served other Elohim.

Daniel 2:20-21 Blessed be the name of YHVH forever and ever to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons: he removes kings and sets up kings he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.

YHVH has placed in power every ruler on earth for his purpose, and he instructed his people to subjugate themselves to their authority.

Jeremiah 27:1-11 In the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah this word came to Jeremiah from YHVH. Thus said YHVH to me. “Make yourself straps and yoke-bars and put them on your neck. Send word to the king of the sons of Ammon the king of Tyre and the king of Sidon by the hand of the envoys who have come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah. Giv them this charge for their masters; thus says YHVH of hosts, the Elohim of Israel; This is what you shall say to your masters: it is I who by my great power and outstretched arm have made the earth, with the men and animals that are on the earth, and I give it to whomever it seems right to me. Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and I have given him also the
beasts of the field to serve him. All the nations Shall serve him and his son and his grandson, until the time of his own land comes. Then many nations and great kings shall make him their slave. But if any nation or kingdom will not serve this Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and place its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, I will punish that nation with the sword, with famine and with pestilence, declares YHVH until I have consumed it by
his hand. So do not listen to your prophets, your diviners, your fortune tellers, or your sorcerers, who say to you “you shall not serve the king of Babylon.” For it is a lie that they prophesy to you, with the result that you will be removed far from your land, and I will drive you out and you will perish. But the nation that will bring its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will let live on its own land, to work it and dwell there declares YHVH.”

Jeremiah 29:4-9 Thus says YHVH of hosts the Elohim of Israel, to the exiles whom I have sent into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon: build houses and live in them: plant gardens and eat their produce. Take wives and have sons and daughters: take wives for your sons, and give your daughters in marriage, that they may bear sons and daughters; multiply there and do not decrease. But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to YHVH on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare. For thus says YHVH of hosts, the Elohim of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your diviners who are among you deceive you, and do not listen to the dreams that they dream, for it is a lie that they are prophesying to you in my name I did not send them declares YHVH.

Daniel is a great example of one who took the words of Jeremiah to heart. Daniel was faithful to YHVH and only defied the laws of the land when it was a matter of Torah.

Because of this faithfulness, Daniel was elevated to a place of power and became chief advisor to his captors. Another great example comes at the end of the exile when Judah returns to the land as a vassal state under the authority of the Persian king. In defense of their project to rebuild the temple of YHVH, they appeal to the law of their captors in the fifth chapter of Ezra. Later they are found making sacrifice to YHVH as well as paying taxes to the Persian empire

Ezra 8:35-36 At that time those who had come from captivity, the returned exiles, offered burnt offerings to the Elohim of Israel, twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and as a sin offering twelve mail goats. All this was a burnt offering to YHVH. They also delivered the kings commission to the king’s satraps and to the governors of the province beyond the river, and they aided the people, and the house of Elohim.

This is what Yeshua was teaching when he said in

Matthew 22:16-22 And they sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that you are true, and you teach the way of Elohim truthfully and you do not care about anyone’s opinion for you are not swayed by appearances. Tell us, then, what do you think. is it lawful to pay taxes to Ceasar, or not?” But Yeshua aware of their malice, said, “why put me to the test. You hypocrites? Show me the coin for the tax.” And they brought him a denarius. And Yeshua said to them, “whose likeness and inscription is this?” Thay said “Caesars.” Then he said to them. “Therefore, render to Caesar the things that are Caesars and to Elohim the things that are Elohim’s.” When they heard it, they marveled. And they left him and went away.

Authority is given by YHVH

Psalm 22:28 For kingship belongs to YHVH and he rules over the nations

John 19:11 Yeshua answered him, “You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above. Therefore, he who delivered me over to you has the greater sin.”

Because authority is given by YHVH, we are to obey said authority so long as it does not lead us to violate YHVHs Tora

Romans 13:1-7 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from Elohim. And those that exist have been instituted by Elohim. Therefore, whoever resists the authorities resists what Elohim has appointed. And those Who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do What is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is Elohim’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain, for he is the servant of Elohim, an avenger who carries out Elohim’s wrath on wrongdoers. Therefore, one must be in subjection, not only to avoid Elohim’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience. For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of Elohim attending to this very thing. Pay to all what is owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed. Respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.

Paul is teaching here what we already have precedent for in the prophets.

1 Peter 2: 13-17 Be subject for YHVHs sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of Elohim, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of Elohim. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear Elohim. Honor the emperor.

This would serve as a second witness to what Paul has already said… but it doesn’t end there.

Titus 3: 1-2 Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.

Colossians 3:22-23 Bondservants, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not by way of eye- service, as people pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing YHVH.

Ephesians 6:5-8 Bondservants, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart as you would Messiah, not by way of eye-service, as people pleasers, but as bondservants of Messiah, doing the will of Elohim from the heart, rendering service with a good will as to YHVH and not to man, knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from YHVH, whether he is a bondservant or is free.

Bondservant applies to anyone who uses the debt-based currency of our captors. It is painfully obvious that every dollar you have to your name is a dollar of debt or bond to the system that enslaves us.

1 Peter 2:18-21 Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect not only to the good and gentle but also the unjust. For this is a gracious thing, when, mindful of Elohim, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly. For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of Elohim. For to this you have been called, because Messiah also suffered for you, leaving you as an example, so that you might follow in his steps.

1 Timothy 2: 1-3 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and is pleasing in the sight of Elohim our Savior

To disregard these passages and pursue sovereignty is a rebellion against YHVH himself and a violation of the Word of Elohim

1 Sam 15:22-23 Has YHVH as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of YHVH? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and presumption is as iniquity and idolatry.

Proverbs 17:11 An evil man seeks only rebellion, and a cruel messenger will be sent against him.

Psalm 68: 6 Elohim settles the solitary in a home; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.

Rebellion is equated to witchcraft by the Word of Elohim through Samuel. One might say that the Samuel passage is taken out of context; however, I would argue that rebellion is rebellion, and if YHVH has set kings over us and we rebel against those kings, we rebel against Elohim. Our salvation comes from YHVH alone. We cannot save ourselves from His judgement, and to attempt such a feat is to kick that judgement further down the road.

Deuteronomy 28: 64-68 And YHVH will scatter you among all the peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other Elohim of wood and stone, which neither you nor your fathers have known. And among those nations you shall find no respite, and there shall be no resting place for the sole of your foot, but YHVH will give you there a trembling heart and failing eyes and a languishing soul. Your life shall hang in doubt before you night and day you shall be in dread and have no assurance of your life. In the morning you shall say, if only it were evening! And in the evening, you shall say if only it were morning! Because of the dread your heart will fail, and the sights that your eyes will see. And YHVH will bring you back in ships to Egypt, a journey I promise you should never make again; and there you shall offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but there will be no buyer.

We are in that judgement, “And I will bring you back in ships to Egypt.” We have been taken back to our captors. “And there you shall offer yourselves for sale to your enemy as male and female slaves, but there will be no buyer.” And there is no buyer. We have just been taken, and in exchange for our labor we are offered nothing but debt, which further enslaves us. Our only hope is to cry out to our Sovereign, YHVH, and return to His Covenant with all our hearts.

Exodus 3:7 Then YHVH said, I have surely seen the affliction of My People who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their suffering.

It is my conviction that by looking at these passages and the precedent set forth by them, to declare myself sovereign is to make the error of putting my salvation in my own hands.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace, you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is a gift of Elohim, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Isaiah 43: 11-15 I am YHVH, and beside me there is no savior. I declared and saved and proclaimed, when there was no strange Elohim among you and you are my witness, declares YHVH, and I am Elohim. Also, henceforth I am he; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work, and who can turn it back? Thus says YHVH, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; for your sake I send to Babylon and bring them all down as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships in which they rejoice. I am YHVH, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.

Psalms 62:1-2 For Elohim alone my soul waits in silence; From Him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.

Malachi 3:16-18 Then those who feared YHVH spoke with one another. YHVH paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared YHVH and esteemed his name. They shall be mine, says YHVH of Hosts, in the Day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man who spares his son who serves him. Then once more you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves Elohim and the one who does not serve him.

Malachi 4:3 And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the souls of your feet, on the day when I act says YHVH of Hosts.

The theme is repeated over and over throughout scripture. It is YHVH and YHVH alone who will deliver His people from their oppressors. I believe a declaration of sovereignty on my part would be equivalent to works of the flesh—an attempt to gain a kind of salvation for my flesh that will have no eternal value. On the topic of declaring sovereignty and at the same time maintaining government ID and using their system to serve my flesh “corporation,” in my view, is being a double-minded man.

James 1:8 He is a double minded man, unstable in all his ways.

It also puts me in the awkward position of serving two masters.

Matthew 6:24 No-one can serve two masters, for either he will hate one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

The one argument that gave me pause for some time was that we are called out of Babylon.

Revelation 18:4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, come out of her My People, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues

Isaiah 48:20 Go out from Babylon, flee from Chaldea, declare this with a shout of joy, proclaim it.

Jeremiah 51:6 Flee from the midst of Babylon; let everyone save his life! Be not cut off in her punishment, for this is the time of YHVH’s vengeance.

Jeremiah 51:45 Get out of the midst of her, my people! Let everyone save his life from the fierce anger of  YHVH.

At this point in my understanding, I do NOT believe that the topic of sovereignty directly connects to coming out of Babylon. I see that there is a distinct difference between Babylon and Egypt.

Deuteronomy 28:68 And YHVH will bring you back in ships to Egypt, a journey that I promised that you should never make again: and there you shall offer yourselves to your enemies as male and female slaves, but there will be no buyer.

Although the two are seemingly working in tandem, they are not the same. Egypt is pure enslavement, devouring the flesh of men.

Genesis 3:14 And the YHVH said to the serpent, because you have don’t this, cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field; on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life.

Genesis 3:17-19 And to Adam He said, because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, you shall not eat of it, cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life; thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your face, you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust and to dust
you shall return.

It is not a coincidence that the headdress of the Egyptian pharaohs emulates the head of a cobra. The serpent is central to Egyptian mythology Egypt does not care what you believe or who you worship; it has no care at all about your spiritual state as long as your flesh suit is able to work the earth for them, producing bricks until you return to the ground. The goal of Egypt is to use you up. In order to do this, you must be outside of the protection of YHVH.

Enter Babylon.

Babylon is a system of religion steeped in Idolatry and complete deception Ultimately Babylon is about self-worship. We started our journey to Babylon when we foolishly made the choice to be like Elohim, knowing good from evil. The serpent (Egypt) had no hold on man until he entered idolatry, choosing to be a god unto himself. The very first iconic biblical character who is a representation of Babylon is Nimrod.

Genesis 10:8-10 Cush fathered Nimrod; he was the first on the earth to be a mighty man. He was a mighty hunter before YHVH. Therefore, it is said, “Like a mighty hunter before YHVH. The beginning of his Kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

These are all Chaldean locations. A quick study of the book of Yashar will establish that Nimrod viewed himself as divine. Next, we have Nebuchadnezzar

Daniel 4:28-31 All this came upon King Nebuchadnezzar. At the end of twelve months he was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, and the king answered and said, “Is not this great Babylon, which I have built by my mighty power as a royal residence and for the glory of my majesty?” While the words were still in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, “O King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you

Isaiah 47:8-10 Now hear this, you lover of pleasures, who sit securely, who say in your heart, “I am, and there is non besides me, I shall not sit as a widow or know the loss of children.” These two things shall come on you in a moment, in one day, the loss of children and widowhood shall come upon you in full measure, despite your many sorceries and the great power of your enchantments. You felt secure in your wickedness; you said, “no one sees me”; your wisdom and your knowledge led you astray, and you said in your heart, “I am, and there is no one besides me.”

Romans 12:3 For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that Elohim has assigned.

Isaiah 47 is addressed to Babylon. Babylon’s greatest downfall is and has always been idolatry and pride. All forms of idolatry are ultimately about the worship of our own flesh. The call to come out of Babylon is in essence a call to crucify the flesh that leads to idolatry, only then will our deliverance from the bonds of Egypt be made manifest.

Deuteronomy 30:1-4 And when all these things come upon you, the blessings and the curse, which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where YHVH your Elohim has driven you, and return to YHVH your Elohim ,you and your children and you obey his voice in all that I command you today with all your heart and with all your soul, then YHVH your Elohim will restore your fortunes and have mercy on you, and he will gather you again from all the peoples where YHVH your Elohim has scattered you. If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there YHVH your Elohim will gather you, and from there he
will take you.

The first step to exiting Babylon is to leave organized religion, i.e., the church, and return to the conditions of the covenant that YHVH set forth at Mt. Sinai through the redemptive work of the Messiah.

In conclusion I will say this. While I believe, based on my research concerning the topic of sovereignty, that most of the claims by those who call themselves sovereign are mostly true, I cannot support nor can I join such a movement based on my understanding of the written word of YHVH. I will no longer entertain or take part in conversations where this philosophy is concerned. I will not invest any more time in arguing beyond this writing, as I have been warned by YHVH in a dream that it will bring death to me if I turn back for anyone.
