Shabbat Zoom Meeting

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our youtube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teach you and encouraged you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable to explain why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Tu B’Av

Normally I do not make mention of other Jewish holidays. But this year is an exception. Much thanks to Becce Biderman for her insights.

We were diligent to mention to you the date of Tisha B’Av on the 9th of the 5th month, when the Temple was destroyed in 586 BC and again in 70 Ad. This past Sunday, June 20th, 2021 was the 9th of Av.

There was another day that the Talmud speaks about each year called Tu B’Av on the 15th of the 5th month. Here is what Wiki says about this day. This day is today the Sabbath June 26, 2021.

According to the Mishna, Tu B’Av was a joyous holiday in the days of the Temple in Jerusalem, marking the beginning of the grape harvest. Yom Kippur marked the end of the grape harvest. On both dates the unmarried girls of Jerusalem dressed in white garments, and went out to dance in the vineyards.[3] That same section in the Talmud states that there were no holy days as happy for the Jews as Tu B’Av and Yom Kippur.[4]

The holiday celebrated the wood-offering brought in the Temple (see Nehemiah 13:31). Josephus refers to it as the Feast of Xylophory (“Wood-bearing”).[5]

Various reasons for celebrating on Tu B’Av are cited by the Talmud and Talmudic commentators:[6][7]

While the Israelites wandered in the desert for forty years, female orphans without brothers could only marry within their tribe to prevent their father’s inherited territory in the Land of Israel from passing on to other tribes, following the incident of the Daughters of Zelophehad. After the conquest and division of Canaan under Joshua, this ban was lifted on the fifteenth of Av and inter-tribal marriage was allowed.

That same year, the last of the generation of the sin of the spies, which had been forbidden to enter the Promised Land, found that they were not destined to die. For forty years, every Tisha B’av night, the Jews made graves for themselves in which they slept on Tisha B’Av; every year a proportion of them died. In the 40th year, the fifteen thousand who had remained from the first generation went to sleep in the graves and woke up the next day to their surprise. Thinking they made a mistake with the date, they did this until they reached Tu B’Av and saw a full moon. Only then did they know they were going to enter the Land of Israel with the new generation.

The Tribe of Benjamin was allowed to intermarry with the other tribes after the incident of the Concubine of Gibeah (see Judges chapters 19–21).

Cutting of the wood for the main altar in the Temple was completed for the year.
King Hoshea of the northern kingdom removed the sentries on the road leading to Jerusalem, allowing the ten tribes to once again have access to the Temple.

The nights, traditionally the ideal time for Torah study, are lengthened again after the summer solstice, permitting more study.
The Roman occupiers permitted burial of the victims of the massacre at Bethar during the Bar Kochba rebellion. Miraculously, the bodies had not decomposed, despite exposure to the elements for over a year.

Modern times
Tu B’Av marks an informal “high” to counter the “low” of The Three Weeks leading up to Tisha B’Av. Tu B’Av does not have many established religious rituals associated with its celebration. However Tachanun is not said—either at mincha the day before or on the day itself—and a bride and groom traditionally do not fast if their wedding falls on Tu B’Av.[8]

In modern times, it has become a romantic Jewish holiday, and has been said to be a “great day for weddings, commitment ceremonies, renewal of vows, or proposing”. Also, “It is a day for romance, explored through singing, dancing, giving flowers, and studying.”[9]

Tu B’Av marked the beginning of the GRAPE HARVEST. And for that reason only I have mentioned it this year to all of you. This year when we began the Year one month earlier than the rest of the brethren. This year when the Barley was at times questionable. This year when the wheat confirmed that we were on the schedule Yehovah has set out for us. This year when we have suffered the ridicule of the brethren on other schedules and other calendars.

This year Becca has reported from Israel, that in all the land the grapes are ready to harvest. The Grapes are ready to harvest. Isn’t that just so amazing? I am beside myself. I am absolutely in awe of Yehovah who is guiding us and leading us and showing us HIS timing for HIS Feasts. Not my timing. Not my decision. Yehovah is leading us and I am ecstatic to know this little truth.

The 15th of Av, the day known as Tu B’Av, the day that marks the start of the Grape harvest is June 26, which is this Sabbath, 2021.

But now stop and think. Why did I not understand this before?

Num 13:23  And they came to the valley of Eshcol and cut from there a branch with one cluster of grapes. And they carried it between two men upon a staff, and some of the pomegranates and of the figs.

Num 13:24  The place was called the valley of Eshcol because of the cluster of grapes which the sons of Israel cut down from there.

The 9th of Av when they brought back this evil report is ALSO the SAME time when they brought back this cluster of grapes in the month of Av the 5th month.

Report of the Spies

Num 13:25  And they returned from spying out the land after forty days.

Num 13:26  And they left and came to Moses and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, to the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh. And they brought back word to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land.

Num 13:27  And they told him and said, We came to the land where you sent us, and surely it flows with milk and honey. And this is the fruit of it.

Num 13:28  However, the people that dwell in the land arestrong, and the cities are walled, very great. And also we saw the children of Anak there.

Num 13:29  The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south, and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains. And the Canaanites dwell by the sea and by the coast of Jordan.

Num 13:30  And Caleb stilled the people before Moses and said, Let us go up at once and possess it. For we are well able to overcome it.

Num 13:31  But the men that went up with him said, We are not able to go up against the people, for they arestronger than we.

Num 13:32  And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched to the sons of Israel, saying, The land through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eats up those who live in it. And all the people whom we saw in it were men of stature.

Num 13:33  And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, of the giants. And we were in our own sight like grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

The spies had committed Lashon Hara, they brought up an evil report. They had the blessing of the land in cluster of the grapes and yet they made up this story about the giants in the land to scare the people.

The story continues.

The People Rebel

Num 14:1  And all the congregation lifted up their voice and cried. And the people wept that night.

Num 14:2  And all the sons of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron. And the whole congregation said to them, Oh that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or, Oh that we had died in the wilderness!

Num 14:3  And why has Jehovah brought us into this land to fall by the sword, so that our wives and our sons should be a prey? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?

Num 14:4  And they said to one another, Let us make a leader, and let us return to Egypt.

Num 14:5  And Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the sons of Israel.

Num 14:6  And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, of those that searched the land, tore their clothes.

Num 14:7  And they spoke to all the company of the sonsof Israel saying, The land which we passed through to search is an exceedingly good land.

Num 14:8  If Jehovah delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land which flows with milk and honey.

Num 14:9  Only do not rebel against Jehovah, neither fear the people of the land. For they are bread for us. Their protection has moved from them, and Jehovah is with us. Do not fear them.

Num 14:10  But all the congregation said to stone them with stones. And the glory of Jehovah appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the sons of Israel.

Num 14:11  And Jehovah said to Moses, How long will this people provoke Me? And how long will it be before they believe Me, for all the signs which I have shown among them?

Num 14:12  I will strike them with the pestilence and will disinherit them, and will make of you a greater nation and mightier than they.

God Promises Judgment

Num 14:20  And Jehovah said, I have pardoned according to your word.

Num 14:21  But truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of Jehovah.

Num 14:22  Because all those men who have seen My glory and My miracles which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted Me now these ten times, and have not listened to My voice,

Num 14:23  surely they shall not see the land which I swore to their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked Me see it.

Num 14:24  But My servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and has followed Me fully, I will bring him into the land into which he went. And his seed shall possess it.

Num 14:25  (Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites lived in the valley.) Tomorrow turn and go into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea.

Num 14:26  And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

Num 14:27  How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmurs against Me? I have heard the murmurings of the sons of Israel which they murmur against Me.

Num 14:28  Say to them, As I live, says Jehovah, as you have spoken in My ears, so I will do to you.

Num 14:29  Your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness, and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, who have murmured against Me,

Num 14:30  you shall certainly not come into the land which I swore to make you live in, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

Num 14:31  But your little ones, which you said should be a prey, I will bring them in and they shall know the land which you have despised.

Num 14:32  But as for you, your bodies shall fall in this wilderness.

Num 14:33  And your sons shall feed in the wilderness forty years and bear your fornications, until your dead bodies have wasted in the wilderness.

Num 14:34  According to the number of the days in which you searched the land, forty days, each day for a year you shall bear your iniquities, forty years; and you shall know My alienation.

Num 14:35  I Jehovah have spoken; I will surely do it to all this evil congregation who are gathered together against Me. They shall be destroyed in this wilderness, and there they shall die.

Num 14:36  And the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up an evil report upon the land,

Num 14:37  even those men that brought up the evil report upon the land died by the plague before Jehovah.

Num 14:38  But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, of the men that went to spy out the land, lived.

So what does this mean? In the same month, they were given the curse, it was also the same month for the blessing of the grapes? The month of Av is a two-edged sword. It is a blessing to those who obey Yehovah and a curse to those who do not obey Him.

As an example on the 9th of Av in Isreal, it was reported the first cases of the Variant on the Delta Variant had arrived in Israel and now they are considering shutting down to tourists again. At the same time the heatwave in California and the west coast of the USA is biting in, they are now being told to conserve electricity as the power grids are about to crash and have rotating shutdowns. Millions depend on electricity for their air conditioners. And that was the news on the 9th of Av.

Is judgment being meted out right now?

We have this third super moon Thursday, June 24.

Let me show you some more of the two-edged sword that the grapes and the month of Av represent.

There is this story in Judges about the virgins dancing in the vineyards. I am not able to confirm this event took place on the 15th of Av. So I am just going to mention it.

Jdg 21:19  Then they said, Behold, there is a feast of Jehovah in Shiloh yearly on the north side of Bethel, on the east side of the highway that goes up from Bethel to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah.

Jdg 21:20  And they commanded the sons of Benjamin, saying, Go and lie in wait in the vineyards,

Jdg 21:21  and see, and behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in dances, then you come out of the vineyards and catch you a wife for every man from the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.

Here, the Gemora offers us from that of Rav Yosef in the name of Rav Nachman. But I could find no other commentaries as to this event taking place on the 15th of Av. But I share so you know.

After this incident, the tribes swore that they would not let any man from the tribe of Benjamin marry their daughters. The people who made the oath felt much remorse over having to take such an action, as they were in essence cutting off a tribe from Israel. On the 15th of Av, it was established that the oath-takers had only intended for the oath to apply to themselves, and not to their children. Hence, on the 15th of Av, the tribe of Benjamin was permitted to “”re-enter”” the nation of Israel, and to have its sons’ marry the daughters of any tribe. This was a cause for great happiness.

We have this event that took place on the evening before Yehshua was killed when they were starting the fast of the firstborn. The blood over the door in Egypt saved your life. Those without the blood over the doors, the firstborn of their families died that night.

Institution of the Lord’s Supper

Mat 26:26  And as they were eating, Jesus took bread and blessed it, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat, this is My body.

Mat 26:27  And He took the cup and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink all of it.

Mat 26:28  For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Mat 26:29  But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on, until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.

In like manner, the grapes now represented by His blood are a great time of rejoicing if you are covered by His blood on the Door.

Another great example of the grapes and how they represent judgment or a time of judgment and the time of rejoicing is found in Isaiah.

The Lord’s Day of Vengeance

Isa 63:1  Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah, this One adorned in His clothing, bending down in His great power? I who speak in righteousness, great to save.

Isa 63:2  Why is Your clothing red, and Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?

Isa 63:3  I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with Me; for I will tread them in My anger and trample them in My fury; and their blood will be sprinkled on My garments, and I will stain all My clothing.

Isa 63:4  For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come.

Isa 63:5  And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was no one to uphold; therefore My own arm has saved for Me; and My fury upheld Me.

Isa 63:6  And I will tread down the people in My anger, and make them drunk in My fury, and I will pour their juice to the earth.

During this time, those who are not obeying HIm will be destroyed. Those in Israel will be judged and executed. But for those who are obeying Him and seeking Him, they will be covered if you will by His blood again on the Door.

We also have the grapes represented as both blood and a blessing in Deuteronomy

Deu 32:12  Jehovah alone led him, and there was no strange god with him.

Deu 32:13  He made him ride on the high places of the earth, so that he might eat the increase of the fields. And He made him suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock,

Deu 32:14  butter from cows, and milk from sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the sons of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat. And you drank the blood of the grape.

Deu 32:15  But Jeshurun grew fat and kicked. You grew fat, thick, and satisfied. Then he forsook God who made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

And further in Deut, it says this;

Deu 32:28  For they are a nation without wisdom, neither is there any understanding in them.

Deu 32:29  If they were wise, they would understand this; they would consider their latter end!

Deu 32:30  How shall one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them and Jehovah had shut them up?

Deu 32:31  For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

Deu 32:32  For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah. Their grapes are grapes of gall. Their clusters are bitter.

Deu 32:33  Their wine is the poison of serpents, and the cruel venom of asps.

Deu 32:34  Is not this laid up in store with Me and sealed up among My treasures?

Deu 32:35  Vengeance and retribution belong to Me. Their foot shall slide in time, for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come on them make haste.

Deu 32:36  For Jehovah will bring His people justice; and He shall have compassion on His servants, for He sees that their power is gone, and only the imprisoned and abandoned remain.

Deu 32:37  And He shall say, Where are their gods, theirrock in whom they trusted?

Deu 32:38  Who ate the fat of their sacrifices and drank the wine of their drink offerings? Let them rise up and help you; let it be your hiding place.

Deu 32:39  See now that I, I am He, and there is no god with me. I kill, and I make alive; I wound and I heal; and there is no deliverer out of My hand.

Deu 32:40  For I lift up My hand to Heaven and say, I live forever!

Deu 32:41  If I sharpen My glittering sword, and if My hand takes hold in judgment, I will give vengeance to My enemies and will reward those that hate Me.

Deu 32:42  I will make My arrows drunk with blood, and My sword shall devour flesh, with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the hairy scalp of the enemy.

Deu 32:43  Rejoice, O, nations, with His people; for He will avenge the blood of His servants, and will render vengeance to His foes and will be merciful to His land, to His people.

This month of Av with both the 9th of Av or Tisha B’Av and the 15th of Av or Tu B’av both mourned and celebrated just days apart is of great interest. It all depends on whether you are obeying Him and in His favour or not obeying Him and about to be destroyed through these mighty plagues that are now here.

Having said all of this, now consider what you are told in Zechariah. Then these other verses begin to make more sense.

Zec 8:18  And the Word of Jehovah of Hosts came to me, saying,

Zec 8:19  So says Jehovah of Hosts: The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah for joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts. Therefore love truth and peace.

Zec 8:20  So says Jehovah of Hosts: There yet shall be peoples and inhabitants of many cities;

Zec 8:21  and the residents of one shall go to another, saying, Let us go at once to seek favor of the face of Jehovah, and to seek Jehovah of Hosts; I will go also.

Zec 8:22  And many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek Jehovah of Hosts in Jerusalem and to seek the favor of the face of Jehovah.

Zec 8:23  So says Jehovah of Hosts: In those days ten men, out of all languages of the nations, shall take hold, and will seize the skirt of a man, a Jew, saying, We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.

Psalms 30:11  You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have torn off my sackcloth, and have clothed me with gladness,

Isaiah 35:10  And the ransomed of Jehovah shall return and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy on their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Isaiah 51:11  Therefore the redeemed of Jehovah shall return and come with singing into Zion; and everlasting joy shall be on their head. Gladness and joy shall overtake them; sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

Persecution Will Come

2Ti 3:1  Know this also, that in the last days grievous times will be at hand.
2Ti 3:2  For men will be self-lovers, money-lovers, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3  without natural affection, unyielding, false accusers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good,
2Ti 3:4  traitors, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
2Ti 3:5  having a form of godliness, but denying the power of it; even turn away from these.

2Ti 3:12  Yea, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. 2Ti 3:13  But evil men and seducers will go forward to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Mat 24:9  Then they will deliver you up to be afflicted and will kill you. And you will be hated of all nations for My name’s sake.
Mat 24:10  And then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.
Mat 24:11  And many false prophets will rise and deceive many.
Mat 24:12  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will become cold.
Mat 24:13  But he who endures to the end, the same shall be kept safe.

Luk 12:51  Do you suppose that I have come to give peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division.
Luk 12:52  For from now on, there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
Luk 12:53  The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

Mic 7:1  Woe is me! For I am like the gatherings of summer fruits, like the grape-gleanings of the vintage. There is no cluster to eat; my soul desires the first-ripe fruit.
Mic 7:2  The pious has perished from the earth, and there is none upright among men. For they all lie in wait for blood; each one hunts his brother with a net.
Mic 7:3  Both hands are on evil, to do it well. The ruler asks for a bribe, and the judge also; and the great man speaks the evil desire of his soul. So they weave it together.
Mic 7:4  The best of them is like a briar; the most upright is sharper than a hedge of thorns. The day of your watchmen and your punishment comes; now their shame shall come.
Mic 7:5  Put no trust in a friend; put no hope in a guide; keep the door of your mouth from her who lies in your bosom.
Mic 7:6  For the son dishonors the father; the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. A man’s enemies are the men of his own household.
Mic 7:7  Therefore I will look to Jehovah; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me!
Mic 7:8  Rejoice not against me, my enemy; for if I fall, I shall arise; for if I sit in darkness, Jehovah shall be a light to me.

Persecution Will Come

Biden Administration Unveils New Strategy to Combat Domestic Terrorism

The Biden administration released its strategy for countering domestic terrorism on June 15, and it looks like the United States is in for some big changes. The 32-page document does not even mention street gangs, drug cartels or Islamic extremists. It focuses almost exclusively on white supremacists. In addition to granting $100 million in additional funding to the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security, the plan includes provisions for purging the Internet of extremist content and for training men and women leaving the military to prevent them from becoming radicalized domestic terrorists.

“The National Strategy is designed to coordinate and provide a principled path for the federal government’s efforts to counter the heightened domestic terrorism threat, using all available tools,” Attorney General Merrick Garland said in a speech introducing the counterterrorist plan to the nation. “It is the culmination of an effort undertaken at the president’s direction by federal agencies all across the government—from the Justice Department to the Departments of Homeland Security, Defense, State, Health and Human Services, and others. … Our current effort comes on the heels of another large and heinous attack—this time, the January 6 assault on our nation’s Capitol. … The resolve and dedication with which the Justice Department has approached the investigation of the January 6 attack reflect the seriousness with which we take this assault on a mainstay of our democratic system: the peaceful transfer of power. Over the 160 days since the attack, we have arrested over 480 individuals and brought hundreds of charges against those who attacked law enforcement officers, obstructed justice, and used deadly and dangerous weapons to those ends.”

So the Biden administration’s strategy to combat terrorists looks more like a plan to crack down on those contesting the 2020 presidential election than it looks like a plan to crack down on the Ku Klux Klan.

On April 28, Joe Biden told Congress that “the most lethal terrorist threat to the homeland today is from white supremacist terrorism” before saying that the Capitol protest “was an existential crisis—a test of whether our democracy could survive.” He didn’t explicitly say how white supremacy was connected to the Capitol protests but seems to think only racists believe the 2020 presidential election was stolen. His administration is taking a cue from former Central Intelligence Agency Director John Brennan and “moving in laser-like fashion” to expose an “unholy alliance” of “religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians.”

Former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard recognizes that the government’s efforts to spy on U.S. citizens and purge the Internet of content it finds “extreme” is the greater danger. She warned that the “John Brennans, Adam Schiffs and the oligarchs in Big Tech who are trying to undermine our constitutionally protected rights and turn our country into a police state with kgb-style surveillance are also domestic enemies and much more powerful and therefore dangerous than the mob that stormed the Capitol.”

Is America Headed for a Dust Bowl?

The consequences of discarding morality are graver than most people realize.

Across the Western United States, drought is arriving dangerously early. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, extreme drought is more widespread in the West than at any point in the past 20 years, and the hottest months of summer are still to come. The situation is especially dire in the Southwest where reservoir levels are near record lows and snowpacks are already largely depleted.

In California, farmers are destroying water-intensive crops they cannot irrigate. In Oregon, farmers are protesting conservation efforts that have cut them off from their main water source in order to prevent fish from dying en masse. In Nevada, water levels in Lake Mead, the Colorado River reservoir behind Hoover Dam, have dropped by the height of a 13-story building since the year 2000. Since the Colorado River system provides water to 40 million people in seven states, the federal government is expected to declare a water shortage on the lower Colorado River later this summer.

“If we don’t have irrigation water, we can’t farm,” Dan Thelander, a second-generation farmer in Arizona’s Pinal County, told cbs News. “So, next year we are going to get about 25 percent less water, which means we’re going to have to fallow or not plant 25 percent of our land.”

The Department of Agriculture has declared almost 400 counties as natural disaster areas due to persistent drought, including most counties in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Wyoming. Some media outlets are even warning that America could be on the verge of a second Dust Bowl. The first Dust Bowl was a period of severe dust storms that devastated the American prairies during the 1930s, when drought caused the topsoil to dry up and blow away.

A published paper on soil loss in the U.S. corn belt from the University of Massachusetts–Amherst found that more than one third of the corn belt has lost its carbon-rich topsoil. And similar processes are taking place on the neighboring Great Plains. The conditions are perfect for a second Dust Bowl if the drought gripping the U.S. West spreads across the Rocky Mountains into the Great Plains states.

A second Dust Bowl would be a disaster for American agriculture.

A study published in the journal Science found the 19-year span from 2000 to 2018 was the driest in the history of the Southwestern U.S. since the late-1500s and the second-driest since a.d. 800. This study was based on tree-ring reconstructions of summer soil moisture. It confirms the findings of studies showing that over the last few hundred years, the U.S. has received some of the best weather North America has had in two millenniums. But this period of fair weather seems to be ending.

Most media coverage of megadrought in the Western U.S. blames the dry conditions on man-made global warming. But this assessment ignores data showing that droughts were worse before Europeans came to the New World and the first smokestack went up. In fact, one megadrought in the late-1500s was so severe that tree ring experts talk about it as if it were a biblical plague.

An American Meteorological Society report titled “2,000 Years of Drought Variability in the Central United States” said: “Historical documents, tree rings, archaeological remains, lake sediment, and geomorphic data make it clear that the droughts of the 20th century, including those of the 1930s and 1950s, were eclipsed several times by droughts earlier in the last 2,000 years, and as recently as the late 16th century. In general, some droughts prior to 1600 appear to be characterized by longer duration (i.e. multidecadal) and greater spatial extent than those of the 20th century.”

In fact, many archeologists believe a series of persistent droughts in the 13th century led to the downfall of a mighty Native American civilization that once dominated the Great Plains. A thousand years ago, a city known as Cahokia rose on the banks of the Mississippi River, near what later became the city of St. Louis. At its peak, Cahokia housed 20,000 people, about the same size as contemporaneous London. Yet by a.d. 1350, Cahokia was largely abandoned, and many scientists believe a two-century-long period of persistent drought was the primary reason for its downfall. This civilization-ending drought obviously was not caused by greenhouse gas emissions—as the Cahokians did not drive cars or burn coal to generate electricity. But it may have been caused by immoral human activity, as the Cahokians were involved in pagan rituals like human sacrifice.

And Cahokia was far from the only Native American civilization destroyed by droughts worse than the Dust Bowl. The Anasazi Indians in New Mexico met a similar fate.

God told Abraham that He would drive the Canaanites out of the Promised Land because of their iniquities, or sins (Genesis 15:16), and He later told Moses that He would drive the Israelites out of the Promised Land if they followed after the pagan practices of the Canaanites (Leviticus 26:38-39). This shows that God really does punish wicked societies with natural disasters and foreign invaders.

With regard to the ancient Israelites, God promised that He would correct them by other means before allowing them to be overrun by foreign invaders. If the Israelites turned away from God’s law, He promised to make their heaven as iron and their earth as brass (verses 14-20). That means divine punishment via drought, crop failure and famine (Joel 1:10-16; Amos 4:7; Matthew 24:7).

In his article “Why the World’s First Empire Disappeared,” Trumpet contributor Robert Morley showed that drought was a primary reason for the collapse of the Akkadian Empire established by Nimrod and his successors. Forty-two centuries after Nimrod, humanity has not learned its lesson.

I find it amazing how Trumpet.com can say the curses for not keeping the Shmita years are upon us and in the same breath say the Shmita is only to be kept in the land of Israel.

Mucormycosis

This week’s News Letter is about the Shmita and is going to go much beyond what we have said about it in the past. So as we go through these articles just keep that in mind. It is all about the Shmita and whether or not you keep it. Tisha B’Av or Tu B’Av. Curses of blessings. In India, they have another plague that is attacking them on the heels of them dealing with the massive COVID Variant that they now have and which we have been reporting about. It is called Black Fungus

Mucormycosis, also known as black fungus,[3][4] is a serious fungal infection, usually in people with reduced ability to fight infections.[9][11] Symptoms depend on where in the body the infection occurs.[12][13] It most commonly infects the nose, sinuses, eye and brain resulting in a runny nose, one sided facial swelling and pain, headache, fever, blurred vision, swollen and bulging eye, and tissue death.[1][6] Other forms of disease may infect the lungs, stomach and intestines, and skin.[6]

It is spread by spores of molds of the order Mucorales, most often through inhalation, contaminated food, or contamination of open wounds.[14] These fungi are common in soils, decomposing organic matter (such as rotting fruit and vegetables), and animal manure, but usually do not affect people.[15] It is not transmitted between people.[13] Risk factors include diabetes with persistently high blood sugar levels or diabetic ketoacidosis, low white cells, cancer, organ transplant, iron overload, kidney problems, long-term steroids or immunosuppressant use, and to a lesser extent in HIV/AIDS.[7][9]

Diagnosis is by biopsy and culture, with medical imaging to help determine the extent of disease.[5] It may appear similar to aspergillosis.[16]Treatment is generally with amphotericin B and surgical debridement.[8] Preventive measures include wearing a face mask in dusty areas, avoiding contact with water-damaged buildings, and protecting the skin from exposure to soil such as when gardening or certain outdoor work.[10] It tends to progress rapidly and is fatal in about half of sinus cases and almost all cases of the widespread type.[2][17]

Mucormycosis is usually rare, affecting fewer than 2 people per million people each year in San Francisco,[8] but is now ~80 times more common in India.[18] People of any age may be affected, including premature infants.[8] The first known case of mucormycosis was possibly one described by Friedrich Küchenmeister in 1855.[1] The disease has been reported in natural disasters; 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and the 2011 Missouri tornado.[19] During the COVID-19 pandemic 2020/21, an association between mucormycosis and COVID-19 has been reported. This association is thought to relate to reduced immune function during the course of the illness and may also be related to glucocorticoid therapy for COVID-19.[4][20] A rise in cases was particularly noted in India.[21]

In the Wake of India’s Covid Crisis, a ‘Black Fungus’ Epidemic Follows

The deadly disease has sickened former coronavirus patients across the country. Doctors believe that hospitals desperate to keep Covid patients alive made choices that left them vulnerable. By Emily Schmall June 20, 2021 AHMEDABAD, India — In the stifling, tightly packed medical ward at Civil Hospital, the ear, nose and throat specialist moved briskly from one bed to the next, shining a flashlight into one patient’s mouth, examining another’s X-rays.

The specialist, Dr. Bela Prajapati, oversees treatment for nearly 400 patients with mucormycosis, a rare and often deadly fungal disease that has exploded across India on the coattails of the coronavirus pandemic. Unprepared for this spring’s devastating Covid-19 second wave, many of India’s hospitals took desperate steps to save lives — steps that may have opened the door to yet another deadly disease. “The pandemic has precipitated an epidemic,” Dr. Prajapati said. In three weeks, the number of cases of the disease — known by the misnomer “black fungus,” because it is found on dead tissue — shot up to more than 30,000 from negligible levels. States have recorded more than 2,100 deaths, according to news reports.

The federal health ministry in New Delhi, which is tracking nationwide cases to allot scarce and expensive antifungal medicine, has not released a fatalities figure. The coronavirus pandemic has drawn stark lines between rich nations and poor, and the mucormycosis epidemic in India stands as the latest manifestation. During the second wave, which struck India in April, its creaky, underfunded medical system lacked beds, oxygen and other necessities as infections and deaths soared. The mucormycosis epidemic adds even more urgency to the difficult task of protecting India’s 1.4 billion people. Only a small fraction have been vaccinated against the coronavirus, and they remain vulnerable to a third wave and the consequences that could follow. “Mucormycosis will tail off and go back to baseline as the Covid cases subside,” said Dr. Dileep Mavalankar, an epidemiologist. “But it may come back in the third wave unless we find out why it is happening.” Many doctors in India think they know why. The bone-and-tissue-eating fungus can attack the gastrointestinal tract, the lungs, the skin and the sinuses, where it often spreads to the eye socket and the brain if left untreated. Treatment for the disease involves complex, often disfiguring surgery and an uncommon and expensive drug, contributing to a mortality rate above 50 percent.

Mucormycosis is not passed from person to person. It develops from commonplace spores that sometimes build up in homes and hospitals. Doctors believe India’s crowded hospitals, and their dire lack of medical oxygen, left the fungus an opening. Without enough oxygen to go around, doctors in many places injected patients with steroids, a standard treatment for doctors battling Covid globally.

They can reduce inflammation in the lungs and help Covid patients breathe more easily. Many doctors prescribed steroids in quantities and for durations that far exceed World Health Organization recommendations, said Arunaloke Chakrabarti, a microbiologist and the co-author of a study examining the causes of India’s mucormycosis outbreak. Those steroids may have compromised patient immune systems and made Covid-19 patients more susceptible to fungal spores. The steroids may have also dangerously increased blood sugar levels, leaving people with diabetes vulnerable to mucormycosis. It could also increase the chance of blood clots, leading to malnourished tissue, which the “fungus attacks,” Dr. Prajapati said. Desperate doctors may not have had the chance to ask patients about whether they had diabetes or other conditions before resorting to steroids. “Doctors hardly had any time to do patient management,” Dr. Chakrabarti said. “They were all looking at how to take care of the respiratory tract.” According to the health ministry, about four out of five mucormycosis patients have had Covid-19. More than half have diabetes.

Alok Kumar Chaudry, a 30-year-old engineer with surgical tape over his left eye and hooked up to an I.V. drip at Civil Hospital, is one of those with mucormycosis who first came down with Covid. He was studying for India’s civil service exam in April in New Delhi when the second wave hit. After testing positive for the coronavirus, and with hospital beds, drugs and oxygen scarce, he jumped onto a train to his older brother’s home in rural Gujarat. There, his oxygen levels plummeted to a potentially lethal 54 percent.

After two weeks on oxygen support and steroids at a local hospital, he recovered from Covid-19 but developed an acute headache on the left side of his brain. Doctors thought that steroids may have caused it and that it would go away. “Suddenly vision in my left eye went blank,” Mr. Chaudry said. An M.R.I. showed mucormycosis. The doctors said they would have to remove his eye. He went to Ahmedabad’s Civil Hospital for a second opinion. Five specialists oversaw a surgery that involved scraping away the dead tissue in his sinus tract. To clear out remaining infection, he received a 15-day course of amphotericin B, an antifungal medication. Dr. Chakrabarti said that if Mr. Chaudry kept his eye, he could still lose his life, since surgeons couldn’t remove the thin layer of infection behind his eye without removing the eye itself.

“I’ve lost vision in my left eye, my studies have suffered,” Mr. Chaudry said. “Definitely I want to know why mucor has formed. If it’s faulty treatment, then someone is responsible. If it’s the wrath of God, what can I do?” The study that Dr. Chakrabarti co-wrote, published this month by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said that heavy use of steroids, the correlation with diabetes and the unsanitary conditions at some hospitals had played a role.

Even before the pandemic, India recorded about 50 mucormycosis cases a year, compared with, on average, a single case every two years in the United States and Western Europe. Environmental conditions play a part, as does the incidence of diabetes — India has more than twice as many people with the condition as the United States does. Usually in India, mucormycosis afflicts people with diabetes who are either unaware of their condition or who are not taking insulin properly. But in the current outbreak, many patients had no history of diabetes. The common denominator was a Covid-19 infection treated with steroids, clinicians and researchers say. The government in Ahmedabad, in Gujarat, declared mucormycosis an epidemic in May.

Other states have followed. Whether patients live or die often depends on how quickly they undergo debridement surgery that removes the fungus and then start a two-week course of amphotericin B. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is from Gujarat, described the fungal disease as a new “challenge” and said it was “important to create systems to tackle it.” India makes small supplies of amphotericin B, which can be obtained free of charge at some public hospitals. But because supplies are limited, India is importing it from the United States, where it costs about $300 per vial. Each patient needs 60 to 100 vials.

Gilead Sciences, the American manufacturer, has donated about 200,000 vials. Doctors are using cheaper drugs that are as effective but more toxic, posing a risk of kidney damage. “That’s a very painful choice,” said Dr. Atul Patel, an infectious diseases specialist at the private Sterling Hospital in Ahmedabad who has treated dozens of mucormycosis patients in the outbreak. Dr. Patel, another of the study’s authors, said that steroids, which in India are commonly prescribed for routine ailments such as diarrhea or fever, had been prescribed to Covid-19 patients with mild infections who didn’t need them. That was the case for one of Dr. Patel’s patients, Ambaben Heerabhai Patel, 60, the matriarch of a farming family in rural Gujarat, who is paying about $700 a day for antifungal treatment and other services at Sterling. It’s a steep cost, but Ms. Patel had seen Dr. Patel — no relation — for previous health issues related to her diabetes.

After back-to-back infections of Covid-19 and then mucormycosis, she did not want to take any chances. Arriving at the hospital May 17 with an intense headache and facial numbness, Ms. Patel said in early June from her private room at Sterling Hospital that she felt healthy for the first time in more than a month. Of Dr. Patel, she said, “he’s like my god.”

Here are the things I noticed in this article which has me thinking about a number of things.

I for one, most certainly do believe this is the wrath of Yehovah. I have been saying this was coming since 2005. It is now here and it came in the year we have been saying it was going to come in. But there are more plagues to come. What jumped out to me and I do not claim to be a doctor, but this Black Fungus came to those who are dealing with diabetes in some form and those who have had COVID.

When I checked with the CDC, they stated that those people with the following conditions are most likely to contract severe COVID cases.

May 13, 2021 — More than 80% of COVID-19 deaths occur in people over age 65, and … to be immunocompromised or have a weakened immune system.

Many of us this year have been locked down in our homes for the past year. During that time many have resorted to baking and cooking as a way to pass the time. Which means more eating. But even before the lockdown many of us are overweight and pre-diabetic or diabetic and do not know it. Some of the younger people I have seen pictures of who have been killed by COVID were obviously overweight.

I have been exercising during the COVID lockdown. I have been walking about 10 KL per day or riding an indoor cycle about 35 KL per day when I did not walk. But no matter how much I worked out I could not lose any weight. I was watching what I ate. (Watching it go from my hand to my mouth.) Then I saw a PBS program and then bought the book Eat Fat Get Thin by Mark Hyman.

I listened to him walk me through all the past 50 years of diets I have heard of and some I have been on and found out why they never worked and how some were funded to get a biased result and others were full of faulty science. I began to do what he said and I have lost 11lbs in one week. To be consistent I need to lose another 11 the next week. What I learned the most was that everything we eat, has refined sugars in it. From the milk, we buy to the bread we eat, from the Juice drinks to all the portions of pasta we have been gorging ourselves on. I do not even have to talk about the ice cream and cookies and many other treats we eat every day. It is no wonder we are all fat and can’t lose weight.

The system has been geared against us. Yes, I am thinking of the Paul Nisans, and others who have been promoting a Torah-based raw food diet for years. But I like my sugars and although I knew I should not be consuming them, I had no idea I was addicted to them nor consuming as much as I was. My body was assuming they were the best source of energy for me to consume triggering my brain to go get more sweets. It was not until Dr. Mark Hyman said that the sugar intake of most North Americans was causing our immune systems to be suppressed that I began to pay attention. It was our immune systems that were being taken advantage of by COVID and now again it is our immune systems that are being taken advantage of by Black Fungus. We are killing ourselves. We do not have the immune system to fight off the daily diseases that we should normally remove every day. Our immune systems are also compromised by Cancer and the treatment for it. We are now in the last days and everywhere I look I see Fat people. And they have forgotten our Elohim.

Deu 32:15  But Jeshurun grew fat and kicked. You grew fat, thick, and satisfied. Then he forsook God who made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.
Deu 32:16  They provoked Him to jealousy with strange gods; with abominations they provoked Him to anger.
Deu 32:17  They sacrificed to devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new ones newly come up, whom your fathers did not fear. Deu 32:18  You forgot the Rock who brought you forth, and ceased to care for God who formed you.

Deu 8:10  And you shall eat and be satisfied, then you shall bless Jehovah your God for the good land which He has given you.
Deu 8:11  Beware that you do not forget Jehovah your God, in not keeping His commandments, and His judgments, and His statutes, which I command you today,
Deu 8:12  lest when you have eaten and are full and have built good houses and lived in them,
Deu 8:13  and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold is multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied, Deu 8:14  then your heart might be lifted up, and you might forget Jehovah your God who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slaves.

As I consider all of these things and as I pray to Yehovah for more understanding of His ways and His Torah, the following news comes out this week of a new variant on the Delta or Indian variant. A variant of the variant.

The Delta COVID-19 variant has a mutation called K417N. Here’s what we know

Below is what we know about the variant. What is Delta plus? The variant, called “Delta Plus” in India, was first reported in a Public Health England bulletin on June 11. It is a sub-lineage of the Delta variant first detected in India and has acquired the spike protein mutation called K417N which is also found in the Beta variant first identified in South Africa. Some scientists worry that the mutation, coupled with other existing features of the Delta variant, could make it more transmissible. “The mutation K417N has been of interest as it is present in the Beta variant (B.1.351 lineage), which was reported to have immune evasion property,” India’s health ministry said in a statement. Shahid Jameel, a top Indian virologist, said the K417N was known to reduce the effectiveness of a cocktail of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.

Where has it been found?

As of June 16, at least 197 cases has been found from 11 countries – Britain (36), Canada (one), India (eight), Japan (15), Nepal (three), Poland (9), Portugal (22), Russia (one), Switzerland (18), Turkey (one), the United States (83). India said on Wednesday around 40 cases of the variant have been observed in the states of Maharashtra, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh, with “no significant increase in prevalence.” The earliest case in India is from a sample taken on April 5. Britain said its first five cases were sequenced on April 26 and they were contacts of individuals who had traveled from, or transited through, Nepal and Turkey. No deaths were reported among the U.K. and Indian cases.

What are the worries?

Studies are ongoing in India and globally to test the effectiveness of vaccines against this mutation. “WHO is tracking this variant as part of the Delta variant, as we are doing for other Variants of Concern with additional mutations,” the World Health Organization (WHO) said in a statement sent to Reuters. “For the moment, this variant does not seem to be common, currently accounting for only a small fraction of the Delta sequences … Delta and other circulating Variants of Concern remain a higher public health risk as they have demonstrated increases in transmission,” it said. But India’s health ministry warned that regions where it has been found “may need to enhance their public health response by focusing on surveillance, enhanced testing, quick contact-tracing and priority vaccination.” There are worries Delta Plus would inflict another wave of infections on India after it emerged from the world’s worst surge in cases only recently. “The mutation itself may not lead to a third wave in India – that also depends on COVID-appropriate behavior, but it could be one of the reasons,” said Tarun Bhatnagar, a scientist with the state-run Indian Council for Medical Research.

Giving Up!

With all the misinformation out there on every social media channel, about the vaccine and about COVID and about the American Elections about which way is up and which way is down, it has been an extremely difficult past few years trying to sort through it all. And many of you have not been of help in doing this. Sorry, but you have not. Many of you have eaten the poisoned fruit and still can’t see it. You have hardened your hearts.

But some of you have seen your past errors and that is good and have come back to Torah.

With so much confusing information some brethren are just giving up and throwing in the towel.

Eze 3:1  And He said to me, Son of man, eat what you find. Eat this roll, and go speak to the house of Israel.

Eze 3:2  So I opened my mouth, and He caused me to eat that roll.

Eze 3:3  And He said to me, Son of man, cause your belly to eat, and fill your belly with this roll that I give you. Then I ate it; and in my mouth it was like honey for sweetness.

Eze 3:4  And He said to me, Son of man, go! Go up to the house of Israel and speak to them with My Words.

Eze 3:5  For you are not sent to a people of a deep lip and of a difficult language, but to the house of Israel;

Eze 3:6  not to many people of a deep lip and of a difficult language, whose words you cannot hear. Surely, if I had sent you to them, they would have listened to you.

Eze 3:7  But the house of Israel will not listen to you, for they will not listen to Me; for all the house of Israel arestrong of forehead and hard of heart.

Eze 3:8  Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces and your forehead strong against their foreheads.

Eze 3:9  I have made your forehead as an adamant harder than flint. Do not be bowed down by their faces, though they are a rebellious house.

Eze 3:10  And He said to me, Son of man, receive all My Words which I shall speak to you in your heart, and hear with your ears.

Eze 3:11  And go! Go to those of the captivity, to the sons of your people, and speak to them, and tell them, So says the Lord Jehovah; whether they will hear or whether they will forbear.

Everything we have written about thus far in this week’s newsletter is all about the Shmitah. Yes, everything is about the Shmita. The drought in the Western USA, the food shortages, and famines. The Delta or Indian variant, and the new K417N variant on COVID. All the various bird flu and H1N1 cases, that have been in the news for the past 10 years. Ebola, Sars, 9/11, the War of Terror, the War in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Iran Nuclear Deal. The Paris Accord, global warming and so many extreme weather events around the world. China becoming the New World Power pushing and bullying its weight around the globe. The USA weakness at controlling its own borders and not willing to use the power it has. The growing anti-Semitism around the world and the growing anti-Christian sentiment around the world. All of this is a result of the Shmita.

Actually, it is a result of not keeping the Shmita. Read the curse that we would have if we will not obey and tell me if you see any of these curses around us now. Seems like all of them are around us, with more still to come.

Punishment for Disobedience

Lev 26:14  But if you will not listen to Me, and will not do all these commandments,

Lev 26:15  and if you shall despise My statutes, or if your soul hates My judgments, so that you will not do all My commandments, so that you break My covenant;

Lev 26:16  I will also do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you, consumption, and burning fever, consuming the eyes and causing sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

Lev 26:17  And I will set My face against you, and you shall be slain before your enemies. They that hate you shall reign over you. And you shall flee when none pursues you.

Lev 26:18  And if you will not yet listen to Me for all this, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

Lev 26:19  And I will break the pride of your power, and I will make your heaven like iron and your earth like bronze.

Lev 26:20  And your strength shall be spent in vain. For your land shall not yield its increase, neither shall the trees of the field yield their fruits.

Lev 26:21  And if you walk contrary to Me, and will not listen to Me, I will bring seven times more plagues on you according to your sins.

Lev 26:22  I will also send wild beasts among you, who shall bereave you. And I will destroy your cattle, and make you few. And your highways shall be deserted.

Lev 26:23  And if you will not be reformed by Me by these things, but will still walk contrary to Me,

Lev 26:24  then I will walk contrary to you and will punish you seven times more for your sins.

Lev 26:25  And I will bring a sword on you that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant. And when you are gathered inside your cities, I will send the plague among you. And you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

Lev 26:26  When I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight. And you shall eat and not be satisfied.

Lev 26:27  And if you will not for all of this listen to Me, but will walk contrary to Me,

Lev 26:28  then I will walk contrary to you also in fury. And I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

Lev 26:29  And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters you shall eat.

If we were to just obey Yehovah then we would have been given all of the following. I hardly mention this stuff because we do not obey so why bother. Read these blessings and tell me if we are overrun with these good gifts.

Blessings for Obedience

Lev 26:1  You shall make no idols to yourselves; and you shall not set up for yourselves graven images, or a memorial pillar. And you shall not set up any image of stone in your land in order to bow down to it. For I amJehovah your God.

Lev 26:2  You shall keep My sabbaths and revere My sanctuary. I am Jehovah.

Lev 26:3  If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments and do them,

Lev 26:4  then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

Lev 26:5  And your threshing shall reach to the vintage, and the vintage shall reach to the sowing time. And you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

Lev 26:6  And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down and none shall make you afraid. And I will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

Lev 26:7  And you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

Lev 26:8  And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight. And your enemies shall fall by the sword in front of you.

Lev 26:9  For I will have respect to you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish My covenant with you.

Lev 26:10  And you shall eat of the old provision, and clear away the old because of the new.

Lev 26:11  And I will set My tabernacle among you. And My soul shall not abhor you.

Lev 26:12  And I will walk among you and will be your God, and you shall be My people.

Lev 26:13  I am Jehovah your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, from being their bondmen. And I have broken the bonds of your yoke, and made you go upright.

It is plain as day that the curses are overtaking us. The nightly news tells us the plague and the droughts and the shortage of food are here. The Tisha B’Av events. Not the Tu B’Av events.

And if you can see this then why do some of you still insist the Shmita is only for when you are in the land of Israel. Hard-hearted hypocrites. Isaiah spoke rightly about you.

Isa 6:8  And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, Here am I; send me!

Isa 6:9  And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know.

Isa 6:10  Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed.

Isa 6:11  Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation,

Isa 6:12  and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

As we have shared with you a few times now we have created two new corporations. Acubene PBC and Acubene Helping Hands. One of the missions of Acubene is to help those with farms restore them to become a full and productive farm. Most, if not all of them have followed and implemented destructive farming practices. Part of our mission statement is to turn that around and make them viable sustainable and a blessing to the region and the environment an excellent source of income for them.

One of the blessings of the Shmita is to look at your land and to know it and understand it from the ground up. I have been implementing the Back to Eden methodology on my own land and had some great success. Bringing back vermiculture and composting and compost teas along with Permaculture practices is the best way to make a great farm that will never end up as a dust bowl.

When you let the land rest every seventh year you let the worms grow and do their thing. Far too many farms rotate the land and no longer allow the land to go fallow because that is a lost year of production. But because the yields diminish each year they add chemicals to boost the production. The chemical fertilizers do help in the short term but then the cost of the fertilizer continually eat away at the production until you arrive at the point where you are working for nothing or you have to charge exorbitant prices to make a living. Each time you add the fertilizers you also have to add pesticides to keep the bugs away you do not want.

The soil is out of balance.

This cocktail of poison you are putting into the ground and on the plants is then eaten by us and comes back in various forms of cancers. Yes, it kills the bugs and saves the plants, but it also destroyed the good bugs and the bees as well as the microbes and worms that make the soil thrive. Each time you kill the worms you must add mort fertilizer to replenish the soil because the worms are not there to do what they do naturally.

Worm castings are today sold for $15 per kilogram or per 2 Liters. By comparison, 25 litres of topsoil is sold for about $2.

When I first began to cultivate my garden the soil was out of balance. I had all sorts of bugs eating my plants. Some years I only worked to feed the bad bugs. I hardly got anything from the garden. Actually, my plants were sick and the bugs were doing me a favour eating the sick plants deprived of the nutrients they needed.

I began to feed my worms and made a focussed effort to look after them in summer and winter by feeding them a rich supply of yard and kitchen waste. I began to also focus on the bacteria that grow in the top of the soil from the decomposing mulch. As I did this the soil improved and so did the plants. I also kept the Sabbatical years along with the Holy Days according to the Crescent moon and the Barley to begin the year.

It is not just taking care of the land. You also have to obey Yehovah. And once you do that then, then the blessings begin to come.

After the Sabbatical year of 2009, the first one I had ever kept, the plants began to get big and the soil was rich and alive and full of worms. I grew a 28 lb Red Cabbage. I was going for the world record.

Like my garden was at first,  the World is out of balance. The people and the world are out of balance. they do not and will not obey Yehovah. The soil and the peoples’ immune system, the natural innate creation of Yehovah are all out of wack and thus susceptible to every plague known to man. Tisha B’Av, the curse.

What the Sabbatical year teaches you is that once you obey, once you begin to do things the way Yehovah says to do them things begin to go better and better each year. Again this is permaculture thinking and planning.

It was only after Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden of Eden that man began to cultivate the ground. Have you ever wondered why this is even mentioned? The Garden of Eden did not need a man to till the ground. It was self-sustaining by itself.

Gen 2:4  These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created in the day that Jehovah God made the earth and the heavens.

Gen 2:5  And every shrub of the field was not yet on the earth, and every plant of the field had not yet sprung up, for Jehovah God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was no man to till the ground.

Gen 2:6  But there went up from the earth a mist and watered all the face of the ground.

Gen 2:7  And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Gen 2:8  And Jehovah God planted a garden eastward in Eden. And there He put the man whom He had formed.

Gen 2:9  And out of the ground Jehovah God caused to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food. The tree of life also was in the middle of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

The word till in verse 2 is Abad.

Gen 3:19  In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are, and to dust you shall return.

Gen 3:20  And Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.

Gen 3:21  And for Adam and his wife Jehovah God made coats of skins, and clothed them.

Gen 3:22  And Jehovah God said, Behold, the man has become as one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever,

Gen 3:23  therefore Jehovah God sent him out from the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he had been taken.

Gen 3:24  And He drove out the man. And He placed cherubs at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

Mucormycosis is found everywhere around the world in the soil right now. It infects people because they are out of balance.

The Black Fungus is a result of people being out of balance and not obeying Yehovah. The soil is out of balance. People are eating food that is out of balance replacing good fats with bad sugar fats. Plagues then can move in and devastated the population. By keeping the Shmita you begin the process of obeying Yehovah, which is followed by the annual Holy Days and the weekly Sabbath.

The Shmita is restoring balance to the soil. It is restoring balance to the economy by the forgiveness of debts. When you eat food that is food and not processed garbage, you restore the balance to your body. When you plant in a permaculture methodology you restore the balance to the land. When you obey Yehovah you restore the balance to your life and to your very soul.

The Shmita begins Aviv 1, 2023. You can begin the process of the restoration of all things today by asking Yehovah to forgive you and then to make the changes you must make so that you can begin to receive the blessing of Tu B’Av. But you get to choose which you are going to receive. Choose wisely.

Mal 4:5  Behold, I am sending you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Jehovah.

Mal 4:6  And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to their fathers, that I not come and strike the earth with utter destruction.

Gold on Their Wings

Our next subject is one that we have had here before. We are tracking the price and the demand for gold. One reason has been that the price of gold will affect the dollar and that in turn the prices for food. We have not studied this in-depth to understand it all but we are watching it.

Isa 60:8  Who are these who fly like a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?

Isa 60:9  Surely the coastlands shall wait for Me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, to the name of Jehovah your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because He has glorified you.

We have been showing the people of the Philippines how this verse and in fact this chapter 60:6-11 is speaking to them and what they are going to be doing in these last days. Chapter 66:19-21 is also speaking to these people in these last days.

Isa 66:19  And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those who escape from them to the nations, toTarshish, Pul, and Lud, drawers of the bow; to Tubal, and Javan, to the far away coasts that have not heard My fame, nor have seen My glory. And they will declare My glory among the nations.

Isa 66:20  And they will bring all your brothers for an offering to Jehovah out of all nations on horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and on mules, and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem, says Jehovah, as the sons of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of Jehovah.

Isa 66:21  And I will also take some of them for priests and for Levites, says Jehovah.

Isa 66:22  For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make stand before Me, says Jehovah, so will your seed and your name stand.

Isa 66:23  And it will be, from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before Me, says Jehovah.

Isa 66:24  And they will go out and see the dead bodies of the men who have sinned against Me; for their worm will not die, nor will their fire be put out; and they will be an object of disgust to all flesh.

Zechariah also speaks of the last days in the following way.

Zec 14:12  And this shall be the plague with which Jehovah will strike all the peoples who have fought against Jerusalem. Their flesh shall rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes shall rot in their sockets. And their tongue shall rot in their mouth.

Zec 14:13  And it shall be in that day a great panic of Jehovah shall be among them And they shall each one lay hold of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.

Zec 14:14  And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the nations all around shall be gathered, gold, and silver, and clothing in great abundance.

We also have the following verse where Ezekiel tells us about the gold being thrown into the streets in the last days. Notice first that this is for Israel.

The Day of the Wrath of the Lord

Eze 7:1  And it happened, the Word of Jehovah came to me, saying,

Eze 7:2  And you, son of man, so says the Lord Jehovah to the land of Israel: An end! The end has come on the four corners of the land.

Eze 7:3  Now the end is on you, and I will send My anger on you and will judge you according to your ways, and will lay on you all your abominations.

Eze 7:4  And My eye shall not spare you, neither will I have pity. But I will repay your ways on you, and your abominations shall be in your midst; and you shall know that I am Jehovah.

Eze 7:5  So says the Lord Jehovah: An evil: Behold, an only evil has come!

Eze 7:6  An end has come, the end has come. It awakes against you; behold, it has come.

Eze 7:7  The encirclement has come to you, O dwellers of the land. The time has come, the day of tumult is near, and not a shout of the mountains.

Eze 7:8  And I will soon pour out My fury on you, and fulfill My anger on you. And I will judge you according to your ways, and will repay you for all your abominations.

I have to once again point out what you are told in Isaiah.

Isa 26:20  Come, my people, enter into your rooms and shut your doors around you; hide for a little moment, until the fury has passed by.

Isa 26:21  For behold, Jehovah comes out of His place to punish the people of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also shall reveal her blood, and shall no more cover her dead.

Eze 7:9  And My eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; I will repay you according to your ways and your abominations that are in your midst. And you shall know that I am Jehovah who strikes.

Eze 7:10  Behold the day! Behold, it has come; the encirclement has gone out; the rod has blossomed; pride has budded.

Eze 7:11  Violence has risen up for a rod of wickedness. None of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of their riches; nor shall there be wailing for them.

Eze 7:12  The time has come; the day has arrived. Let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is on all her multitude.

Eze 7:13  For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they are still alive; for the vision to all her multitude shall not return, and a man shall not hold his life strong in iniquity.

Eze 7:14  They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goes to the battle, for My wrath is on all her multitude.

Eze 7:15  The sword is outside, and the plague and the famine inside. He who is in the field shall die with the sword; and he in the city shall be devoured by famine and plague.

You are once again reading the curses of Lev 26:23-29.

Famine is growing in the nightly news reports. Drought is growing in the major food production areas of both north and south America. Canada and the UK are racing feverishly to get their nations vaccinated with the second shots as the Delta or India Variant races through those nations. This variant has more potential for harm than the first variants we faced, and it spreads at an even higher rate amongst those who are not vaccinated.

Both nations eager to open up their economies, but both could be shut down in just 6 weeks again if the variant takes hold. The first shot or one vaccination does not stop the delta variant but two will. Children who have not been vaccinated are now vulnerable. And this is the newest news I have heard as this Sabbath ends on June 19, 2021.

Having said that let me remind you of the things I have been saying since I began this warning. You can hear me say it in the very first video we did for the Prophecy Club.

Also on this date, the world was getting back to normal with the European Soccer championships taking place with full stadiums and no masks. Concerts are back with full stadiums and not social distancing and no masks.

The world is eager and hungry to get back to what they think is normal, when in fact it is not over and this newest variant stealthily continues to spread.

Let’s continue back in Ezekiel.

Eze 7:16  But if their fugitives shall escape, then they shall be like doves of the valleys on the mountains, all of them mourning, each one for his iniquity.

Does this verse about the doves on the mountains have anything to do with what we read above in Isaiah 60:8, that we quoted above? Who are these who fly like a cloud, and as the doves to their windows? Who are they and where do they come from?

Perhaps this will help you in Psalms.

Psa 68:13  When you lie among the sheepfolds, the wings of a dove are covered with silver, and its pinions with the shimmer of gold.

Let me give you another version of this same verse to help you.

Though: That is, probably, “Though ye have laboured and lain down between the brick-kilns in Egypt – a poor, enslaved, and oppressed people, yet ye shall gradually rise to dignity, prosperity, and splendour; as a dove, which has been defiled with dirt, disordered, and dejected, by washing herself in a running stream, and trimming her plumage, gradually recovers the serenity of her disposition, the purity of colour, and the richness and varied elegance of her appearance.”

We all can find the dirt on one another, but who is going to find the gold in each other? Yehovah will.

Psa 74:19  Do not deliver the soul of Your turtle dove to the multitude; forget not the congregation of Your poor forever.

Who are these who fly like a cloud, and as the doves to their windows? Do you now know? Let carry on with Ezekiel.

Eze 7:17  All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall go weak as water.

Eze 7:18  They shall also gird on sackcloth, and trembling shall cover them; and shame shall be on all faces, and baldness on all heads.

Eze 7:19  They shall throw their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be an impure thing. Their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of Jehovah. They shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels; because their iniquity has become a stumbling-block for them.

At some point in the near future, the gold and silver and those things considered of value are going to be considered worthless. By Whom? By those who are called Israel and are trying to use their wealth to buy their way out from the wrath that is coming. Their thirst and hunger are not going to be satisfied.

Eze 7:20  And the beauty of His ornament, He set it in majesty. But they made the images of their abominations and of their hateful things in it; therefore I have put it to them as an impure thing.

Eze 7:21  And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prize, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall defile it.

Eze 7:22  I will also turn My face from them, and they shall defile My secret place; and violent ones shall enter into it and defile it.

Eze 7:23  Make a chain; for the land is full of bloody judgments, and the city is full of violence.

Eze 7:24  And I will bring the most evil of the nations, and they shall possess their houses. I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.

Eze 7:25  Ruin comes; and they shall seek peace, but none shall be.

Eze 7:26  Disaster on disaster shall come, and rumor to rumor shall be. And they shall seek a vision from the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and wisdom from the elders.

Eze 7:27  The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with despair, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled. I will do to them according to their way, and according to their judgments I will judge them; and they shall know that I am Jehovah

At some point, again in the near future, Israel will be collected by the people of the Islands and along with their silver and gold they will be brought back to the land of Israel in the ships of Tarshish and offered as a wave offering.

We have some big projects that we are striving to get ready and then completed in time for when these doves fly off to that window in the mountains. We are planning to set up greenhouses that can feed them during the coming drought and water supplies for that time when the Two Witnesses stop the heavens from giving their rain. We have tent cities we are also planning. Do you want to put your gold and silver to use now towards helping His people, His doves who escape, or are you going to hang on to it and then throw it into the streets where no one can use it?

Gold is getting crushed this week. Gold’s tumble began Wednesday after the Fed announced it might be raising interest rates earlier than it previously envisioned.

The dollar rallied, and gold fell. Gold’s fall was amplified by technical selling, as gold dropped below $1,800 and approached critical support levels ( $1,770-60).

Bad news for gold investors? No, it’s actually good news for gold investors because it offers a great buying opportunity.

I continually remind gold investors, whether in bullion or mining shares, not to get too euphoric when gold rallies and not to get too depressed on days like today, when the dollar price retreats.

Gold is still the best form of money and proves valuable to investors over time. This is true despite short-term fluctuations and whether inflation or deflation prevails.

The key for investors is to stay focused on the long-term attributes of gold and not get caught up in day-to-day price moves. Gold itself isn’t volatile, but the dollar price of gold is volatile. In other words, the dollar is volatile.

(Currency fluctuations actually create enormous opportunities for investors who understand them. Yesterday, I held a live event, during which I showed viewers how to take advantage of these opportunities for potentially massive gains.

The dollar price of gold may be volatile, but there’s no reason why your investment outlook needs to be volatile too.

That said, it’s worth looking at the long-term prospects for the dollar price of gold. If we’re not going to sweat the short run, we should care about the long run. Read on for my analysis…

The Monetary Case for $15,000 Gold

I have frequently forecast that gold will reach $15,000 per ounce by 2025 or sooner. That’s not a guess; it’s the result of rigorous analysis.

There’s never a guarantee that a particular outcome will prevail, but this gold price forecast is based on the best available tools and models that have proved accurate in many other contexts.

This is a good time to review exactly how that $15,000 price forecast emerges. Today I want to focus on the monetary model.

This model analysis begins with a simple question: What is the implied non-deflationary price of gold under a new gold standard? It’s a simple question with a somewhat complicated answer and a tangled history.

No central banker in the world wants a gold standard. Why would they? Right now, they control the machinery of central bank command currencies (also called fiat money).

They have no interest in a form of money they can’t control. It took about 60 years, from 1914 to 1974, to drive gold out of the monetary system. No central banker wants to let it back in.

Still, what if they have no choice? What if confidence in command currencies collapses due to some combination of excessive money creation, competition from Bitcoin, extreme levels of dollar debt, a new financial crisis, war or natural disaster?

In that case, central bankers may return to gold not because they want to but because they must in order to restore order to the global monetary system.

Getting the Price Right

That scenario begs the question: What is the new dollar price of gold in a system in which dollars are freely exchangeable for gold at a fixed price?

If the dollar price is too high, investors will sell gold for dollars and spend freely. Central banks will have to increase the money supply to maintain equilibrium. That’s an inflationary result.

If the dollar price is too low, investors will line up to redeem dollars for gold and then hoard the gold. Central banks will have to reduce the money supply to maintain equilibrium. That reduces velocity and is deflationary.

Something like the latter case happened in the UK in 1925 when the Exchequer returned to a gold standard at an unrealistically low price. The result was that the UK entered the Great Depression several years ahead of other developed economies.

Something like the former case happened in the U.S. in 1933 when FDR devalued the dollar against gold. Citizens were not allowed to own gold, so there was no mass redemption of gold. But, other commodity prices rose sharply.

That was the point of the devaluation. The resulting inflation helped lift the U.S. out of deflation and gave the economy a boost from 1933 – 1936 in the midst of the Great Depression.

The policy goal obviously is to get the price “just right” and then maintain it with open market operations using gold and dollars. The U.S. is in an ideal position to do this by selling gold from U.S. Treasury reserves, about 8,100 metric tonnes, or buying gold in the open market using freshly printed Fed money.

The goal would be to maintain the dollar price of gold in a narrow range around the fixed price.

$1,775 Gold?

What price is just right? This would have to be ascertained on a global basis. Unless all major economies worked together, arbitrage opportunities would arise, resulting in global capital flows that would destabilize exchange rates and capital accounts.

The question is easy to answer, subject to a few assumptions. Global M1 money supply (including the U.S., ECB, Bank of Japan, and the Peoples’ Bank of China, which comprise 64% of global GDP) is $50 trillion. The total amount of official gold in the world is approximately 35,000 metric tonnes.

One must assume the percentage of gold backing for the money supply needed to maintain confidence.

Based on the historical experience of the Bank of England from the end of the Napoleonic Wars to the beginning of the First World War and the Federal Reserve from its creation to the end of the gold cover requirement in 1968, a 40% ratio of bullion to money supply is sufficient.

Applying the 40% ratio to the $50 trillion money supply means that $20 trillion of gold is required. Applying the $20 trillion valuation to 35,000 metric tonnes yields a price of $17,775 per Troy ounce of gold. That’s the implied non-deflationary equilibrium price of gold in a new global gold standard.

Of course, money supplies fluctuate; lately, they’ve been going up sharply, especially in the U.S. Other measures of money supply would yield different results. Exchange rate fluctuations can change dollar equivalents for foreign money supply.

There’s room for debate about whether a 40% backing ratio is too high or too low. Still, my assumptions are moderate based on monetary economics and history. A dollar price of gold of $15,000 per ounce in a new gold standard is not a stretch.

The lesson for investors is to buy gold now. You’ll get more gold for your money at the outset and high percentage returns as gold rallies from a lower base.

Toward the end of the long march to $15,000 per ounce, you’ll have bigger dollar gains because you started with more gold. Others will jump on the bandwagon, but you’ll already have a comfortable seat.
