The Dark Room and Depression

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,

How Fast The World Changes

Have you been watching the news this past week? Stunning to say the least.

Friday Dec. 27 2019

A rocket attack on Friday on an Iraqi military base killed an American civilian contractor and wounded several United States military service members and Iraqi personnel, according to the American military command in Baghdad.

Sunday, Dec 29, 2019

Airstrikes against an Iranian-backed militia on Sunday followed an intensifying campaign of attacks directed by Tehran against US forces in Iraq, administration officials have said, warning that any further escalation in the region will be Iran’s responsibility.

A senior US official said there had been 11 attacks against Iraqi bases hosting coalition forces in Iraq over the past two months, many of them carried out by a Shia militia group, Kata’ib Hizbullah (KH), culminating in an attack on a base near Kirkuk on Friday, killing a US contractor and injuring US and Iraqi soldiers.

On Sunday, the US conducted retaliatory airstrikes against five KH bases in Iraq and Syria, which KH said killed 19 of its fighters and injured 35.

Tuesday Dec 31, 2019

Protesters angry about U.S. air strikes on Iraq hurled stones and torched a security post at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad on Tuesday, setting off a confrontation with guards and prompting the United States to send additional troops to the Middle East.

A swarm of protesters attacked the US embassy in Baghdad, Iraq on Tuesday
Militia fighters broke through the compound gate and set fires within the high-security complex
American soldiers inside the embassy have fired tear gas, stun grenades and warning shots at the fighters
The ambassador was on leave at the time of the attack and embassy staff had already been evacuated before the US Marine guard became besieged at the compound
The Pentagon deployed 100 additional Marines to the embassy in Chinook helicopters in wake of attack
Trump has vowed to hold Tehran accountable for the embassy attack, which is in retaliation for US air strikes on the Iran-backed Kataeb Hezbollah on Sunday night

Iranian Major-General Qassem Soleimani, head of the elite Quds Force, was killed early on Friday in a U.S. air strike on his convoy at Baghdad airport, the Pentagon said.

“At the direction of the President, the U.S. military has taken decisive defensive action to protect U.S. personnel abroad by killing Qasem Soleimani,” a Pentagon statement said.

“This strike was aimed at deterring future Iranian attack plans,” it said, adding that the United States would continue to take necessary action to protect Americans and interests around the world.

The Pentagon statement said that Soleimani had “orchestrated” attacks on coalition bases in Iraq over the past few months and approved the “attacks” on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad earlier this week.

Top Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis was also killed in the attack, a militia spokesman said.

An $80 million bounty has been placed on Donald Trump‘s head in the wake of General Qasem Soleimani’s assassination’s, according to reports.

During the televised funeral of the top Iranian, official state broadcasters said one US dollar would be tabled for every Iranian in the country, with the cash going to whoever killed the US President.

“Iran has 80 million inhabitants. Based on the Iranian population, we want to raise $80 million (£61 million) which is a reward for those who get close to the head of President Trump,” it was announced, according to EN24.

A U.S. servicemember and two American contractors for the Pentagon were killed at the Kenya Defense Force Military Base used by U.S. forces Sunday after a pre-dawn attack by the al-Shabab extremist group, officials said.

In addition, two “Department of Defense members” were wounded but stable and crews evacuated them from the airfield, U.S. Africa Command officials said without elaborating on the injured.

The nuclear deal painstakingly negotiated by the international community with Iran has become the first victim of the crisis provoked by the killing of Iranian general Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad in a US drone attack.

The Iraqi parliament on Sunday voted to pass a resolution expelling all foreign troops from the country, Reuters reported.

The resolution, while non-binding, is likely to be turned into law, given the current climate, Reuters noted. It will abolish the 2014 agreement under which a US-led coalition intervened in the region against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant group.

“The government commits to revoke its request for assistance from the international coalition fighting Islamic State due to the end of military operations in Iraq and the achievement of victory,” the resolution said, as reported by Reuters.

Trump on Sunday threatened Iraq with sanctions if it asks American troops to leave in an “unfriendly manner.”

“We will charge them sanctions like they’ve never seen before ever. It’ll make Iranian sanctions look somewhat tame,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One, according to Reuters.

The President also reiterated his stance on attacking key Iranian cultural sites if the country attempts any retaliation for the assassination of Soleimani.

“The United States just spent Two Trillion Dollars on Military Equipment. We are the biggest and by far the BEST in the World! If Iran attacks an American Base, or any American, we will be sending some of that brand new beautiful equipment their way…and without hesitation!” Trump said on Twitter on Sunday.

Wednesday January 8, 2020

Iran attacked an American base in western Iraq early Wednesday, Iranian official news media and United States officials said, the start of what Iran had promised would be retaliation for the killing of a top Revolutionary Guards commander.

“The fierce revenge by the Revolutionary Guards has begun,” Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement on a Telegram channel.

Iraq’s Joint Military Command said seven rockets had hit the base. Iranian officials said the attack began at 1:20 a.m., the time that General Soleimani was killed by an American drone at the Baghdad airport on Friday.

The White House said in a statement that it was “aware” of attacks on American facilities in Iraq. “The President has been briefed and is monitoring the situation closely and consulting with his national security team,” the statement said.

President Trump visited American military forces at Al Asad in December 2018, making his first trip to troops stationed in a combat zone.

Wednesday after the attack

President Trump announced Wednesday that the failed rocket launches did very little damage and took no lives. He made it clear that he will not allow Iran to have nuclear weapons, nor will further aggression go unanswered. He did not promise to answer the rocket attacks and basically said Iran needs to behave to avoid more economic pain. The hot situation will now ease as Iran has saved face by responding militarily, although impotently, to the death of General Qasem Soleimani. They can now retreat without looking like cowards in front of their people, and the U.S. has no need to respond to a couple of dud rockets that angered no one.

Plane was shot down by Iranian surface to air missile, says Trudeau

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau addressed the nation Thursday afternoon amid multiple reports pointing the finger at Iran for the downing of a Ukraine International Airlines flight. The crash killed all on board, including 63 Canadian citizens and 138 people who were headed to Canada.

Addressing assembled media in Ottawa, Trudeau said Canada has intelligence that indicates the plane was shot down by an Iranian missile.

“We have intelligence from multiple sources including our allies and our own intelligence, the intelligence indicates that the plane was shot down by an Iranian surface-to-air missile. This may well have been unintentional,” he said.

When Trudeau was asked whether he was “not ruling out that this was intentional,” the prime minister said, ‘It is really too early to draw any conclusions.”

Asked if the downing could be seen as an act of war, Trudeau said: “It is too early to draw definitive conclusions like that one, that is why we need a complete and credible investigation.”

Mat 24:5  For many will come in My name, saying, I am Christ, and will deceive many.
Mat 24:6  And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for all these things must occur; but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in different places.
Mat 24:8  All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Mat 24:9  Then they will deliver you up to be afflicted and will kill you. And you will be hated of all nations for My name’s sake.
Mat 24:10  And then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.
Mat 24:11  And many false prophets will rise and deceive many.
Mat 24:12  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will become cold.
Mat 24:13  But he who endures to the end, the same shall be kept safe.

Since 2005 we have been sharing our understanding of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years and how they reveal end time prophecy. Many of you have read our book The 2300 Days of Hell in which we lay out prophecy in a Chronological order step by step. Right now you are witnessing the King of the South pushing in all directions to the North and the South and the West. What is about to happen next? And when is it about to happen? We tell you in this book. No one else is telling you.

Many think it impossible to know. But those who have read the book The 2300 Days of Hell, are stunned at what they can now see. Once the veil is removed then you see many things before they happen. Many think the USA is about to attack Iran. Prophecy says otherwise. Iran is about to attack Europe and Europe will destroy Iran. Where is the USA? They too will be destroyed by Europe.

The people below represent just some of those who have read it and are now awake and are watchmen on the wall. Some are Presidents, Vice Presidents, some are professors, some are Kings and the rest ordinary people like you and me and they are telling others.

What does this recent assassinations in Iraq have to do with you? What do the wildfires raging in Australia have to do with you who live in other countries?

It can only be understood by understanding the Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles. And Sightedmoon.com is the only Ministry explaining them to the people.

Have you read the 2300 Days of Hell? Do you know what is coming next and do you know what to do?

Get the Book today and start to read it before it is too late.

Whenever I get questions about marital relationships I often tell people to read the book Love and Respect. Many an argument would never happen if people would respect one another. It seldom happens though.

It did not take very long for my first of what I expect to be 5 months of ridicule to come in.

On January 3, 2020 I received the following two emails which I have made into one posting below. She starts off by quoting from my latest article.

“In a very short while, the USA and the UK and all the Celtic nations will be reduced to just 10% of their former selves. In total, only about 50 Million will be left alive out of the approximately 550 Million today at the end of 2019. ”

You are an evil man for you seek out the darkness and not the light.  It is faith like yours that gives nourishment to the terror we have, self fulfilling prophesies for what one predicts pride maketh one to prove it out as Truth.
ps. it’s 2020 heretic.

Then on Shabbat I was sent the following.

I was writing a message to say thank you for writing the article “Where Do We Flee?” I’m from the Philippines but I’m living now in Canada because my husband is a Canadian. This is an answered prayer because I truly believe that something bad is going to happen in the very near future even before I discover your ministry, and then I found your ministry and other confirmations as well. We are planning to go the Philippines in Dec 2020 to show my baby to my family. My prayer now is how to convince my husband to move to the Philippines. Again thank you very much to your Ministry and God bless you.

This lady heard about us through the video we did from the 700 Club. how she just got it recently I do not know.

Brethren each of you can share our books either in person or suggest them online. You can do the same for all of our videos and News Letters. All you have to do is post them in the various groups you are in. And who knows, perhaps you will be the answered prayer that someone has who is looking but not able to find the right answers. You do not have to reinvent the wheel. We have all the information already done. Just share it with others and let Yehovah remove the veils from their eyes. There is one lady I know of who saw an ad in the local paper about us and she read the  ad that someone had put out.

Sow the seeds and let Yehovah water them and bring them to fruition. Just plant the seeds. Many will convert in the tribulation. But in order for them to do so they have to have a seed planted at some time prior.

and just as we go to post this weeks News Letter I got the following email.

Joseph, since finishing your book, 2300 Days, and I have been ill since. I have had some claustrophobic panic attacks, nausea, and depression. I have a Doctors appt tomorrow, but I don’t think he will find anything. This seems so surreal. I feel like I’m in a time warp all alone. I really don’t know how to share this with my family and my prayers are coming harder to pray. Is this a common reaction to the truths you’ve shared? Thanks in advance.

Brethren many of us are feeling the very same way as this writer. James is going to address some of thise feelings this week with you. I want you all to keep in mind just how mind-numbing the revelations are that I get to bring to you and those who have yet to listen. While we are trying to understand and figure it out, Daniel saw them but could not understand them in his day. But they made him ill and sick for weeks. I went through similar feelings and tears. I know just before I spoke one time in the Philippines I bawled and could not stop for hours just before I was to speak. Everything was becoming real. Now with the most recent news, those things you have now learned again show you just how real these prophecies are.

Pray. I did not want to talk to Yehovah. Our Elohim who is about to destroy all that we hold dear and cherish. Our Families and our homes and countries. He has warned us for the past 4000 years and yet we never obeyed. Now the results of endless disobedience is coming home to roost. But Yehovah has chosen you and others like us to know and to have this opportuinty to repent and help others to also do the same. What is coming is not going to be easy for anyone anywhere. But only by HIs hands around us can we survive what is coming. So although we may be hurt and sad, we must continue to pray to our King and our Husband that in His fury He remembers us and help us.

Although we are trying to figure these prophecies out just before they happen, Daniel saw them and they made him sick. He did not understand but he was sickened by what he saw.

Dan 7:15  I Daniel was distressed in my spirit in its body, and the visions of my head troubled me.
Dan 7:16  And I came near one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the meaning of the things.

Dan 7:28  Here is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my thoughts troubled me much, and my face changed on me. But I kept the matter in my heart.

Dan 8:26  And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true. But you shall shut up the vision; for it shall be for many days.
Dan 8:27  And I Daniel fainted, and was sick for days. Afterward I rose up, and did the king’s business. And I was amazed at the vision, but there was no understanding.

Dan 10:1  In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar. And the thing was true, and a great conflict. And he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.
Dan 10:2  In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks.
Dan 10:3  I ate no food for delight, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, until three whole weeks were fulfilled.
Dan 10:4  And in the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Tigris,
Dan 10:5  then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, a certain man was clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz.
Dan 10:6  His body also was like the beryl, and his face looked like lightning. And his eyes were like lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet in color were like polished bronze, and the voice of his words like the sound of a multitude.
Dan 10:7  And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision. For the men who were with me did not see the vision; but a great quaking fell on them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
Dan 10:8  Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me. For my beauty was turned within me to corruption, and I kept no strength.
Dan 10:9  Yet I heard the voice of his words. And when I heard the voice of his words, then I was in a deep sleep on my face, and my face was toward the ground.
Dan 10:10  And behold, a hand touched me, which set me shaking on my knees and the palms of my hands.
Dan 10:11  And he said to me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright. For to you I am now sent. And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling.
Dan 10:12  Then he said to me, Do not fear, Daniel; for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and to chasten yourself before your God, your words were heard. And I have come for your words.
Dan 10:13  But the ruler of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days. But lo, Michael, one of the chief rulers, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
Dan 10:14  Now I have come to make you understand what shall happen to your people in the latter days. For the vision is yet for many days.
Dan 10:15  And when he had spoken such words to me, I bowed my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
Dan 10:16  And behold, one looking like the sons of men touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke and said to him who stood before me, O lord, my sorrows are turned on me by the vision, and I have kept no strength.
Dan 10:17  For how can the servant of my lord talk with my lord? For as for me, immediately there remained no strength in me, nor is there breath left in me.
Dan 10:18  Then again one like a man in form came and touched me, and he made me stronger
Dan 10:19  and said, O man greatly beloved, do not fear. Peace to you; be strong; yes, be strong. And when he had spoken to me, I was made stronger, and I said, Speak my lord, for you have made me stronger.

Stop Beating Yourself Up

This week James sent me this video to watch. I was not expecting to be crying from watching this, but I was.

Anxious Times are Here Now

As the subject of this email was being talked about between myself and James two weeks ago the following two emails came in. Their timing I thought was inspired and so I am going to enclose them here.

Johnny Kern wrote

Have you had anyone read the book and suffer from anxiety? I just recently finished the book and I don’t have a clue how to prepare my family for it. I’ve been the only one that even attempts to walk Torah (haphazardly at that) but I’m searching how to deal with this.

Another Brother wrote this next email to me.

Good evening Joseph,

In case you missed this, which I very much doubt you did, this seems like the opening salvo to WW III and all that we expect:

My thoughts on a few things:

While I am confident that we will see all of Revelation unfold over the next 24.5 years, I am not yet convinced that the next seven years will be a trouble for Yisra’El. I’d like to share why I think this and ask you to counter my thinking, if you have time to engage at this level with me.

First, the exodus you are planning to the Philippines. It is interesting to me that you knowing that a group tried to leave Mitsrayim, years before the anointed prophet of Elohim, Mosheh, arrived, and that they were massacred in the wilderness. They were lead by a very smart leader. They had counted the days. They were wrong. It may be that you have seen a burning bush and that Elohim has spoken to you from it. If so, far be it from me to interfere or question brother. But, if not, remember that having been right about almost everything, these early evacuees still “seeking to save their own lives, lost them” (Luke 17:33). For this first reason, I council caution brother.

Secondarily, Genesis 45:6, there was only hardship for Yisra’El two years. Then, the one our only Father and Redeemer had positioned before hand to “preserve life” (Gen 45:5), was revealed and gave them provision and invitation to live in a good place. It is how they came to Goshen. This is where their numbers swelled and they became a multitude. We create babes in the faith in much less time than nine months and a few in a generation, so it likely will be shorter than the time they spent in Goshen but the concept is likely to be the same. For 5 of the 7 years, Yisra’El was not suffering with the whole world and they were blessed with transition from a small obscure tribe to a multitude that scared their enemies in the years to come. Only after all of this did the persecution come and the cry of the people go up. This is when the endurance of the anointed was required to wait on the deliverer of their time. Should we then not wait on the Deliverer of ours? Don’t rush into the desert brother, unless you have heard directly from Elohim. Have you? Man’s wisdom is always wrong no matter how smart that man is or how much truth he has been shown. This is why David prospered by a heart after God’s own heart, but Solomon failed having been given great wisdom directly from the Father.

Please don’t hear me saying that I think you are wrong concerning the anointed being trampled under foot being us or pretty much any of the actual events you have pointed out. What I am questioning here is only the timing. The reasons are more than these but this is a good starting point. We must not confuse the exodus with the invitation into Mitsrayim. This is what I think is happening in your prediction of the next seven years. I expect that rather than all seven being terrible, we will suffer a little for the first two with those in the world, and then find that we are blessed for the next five. This is the pattern of the foreshadowing of this time. Like Mosheh, Yoseph, is an archetype of Messiah. Interestingly, he provides for Yisra’El, but does not at that time “dwell” with them.

Shalom brother,

Simon

These are both two good letters from Men who are seeking the truth and have read our books.

Let me say that there is no one more anxious than me at this time. I have not one member of my own family interested in this let alone to talk to about any of this. I am gravely concerned about their well being and I have no idea how it is going to turn out. This is the same for most of you reading this. I also deal with an often hostile spouse concerning my walk. If this was going to be easy then the whole world would would already be doing it. It is hard and it is going to get harder.

Not Peace, but a Sword

Mat 10:34  Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth. I did not come to send peace, but a sword.
Mat 10:35  For I have come to set a man against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
Mat 10:36  And a man’s foes shall be those of his own household.
Mat 10:37  He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
Mat 10:38  And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me.
Mat 10:39  He who finds his life shall lose it. And he who loses his life for My sake shall find it.

As to the second email, I have written about that premature exodus in a News Letter sometime ago. I had written about all the false starts that have taken place and how all of them have egg on their faces. I know and I fully understand. And because I felt for the longest time that I was nobody and of no value, I was not good enough to share the things I was sharing. That is why I tried so hard to get other teachers or Torah to take this message. The only two to listen to me and see what I was saying was Keith Johnson and Nehemia Gordon. But even they have their doubts and not any of the others would listen.

For someone to claim to be a prophet today or to have a message from Yehovah, is to publicly declare your are insane. I had a message. I had an important message. I had no means of getting it out to anyone. In 2005 the internet was still young and new and confusing.

No, my staff does not turn into a snake when I throw it on the ground nor does my arm turn leprous if I put it in my coat and pull it out. Nor have I seen a burning bush or heard a voice from heaven nor has an angel come to visit me in person or in a dream. All I got is the written word of Yehovah the same as all of you have. That’s it.

So when I began to do this I answered that call, who will I send. I remember saying that no one was saying this message and that if He would back me then I would go and share it. But He had to back me up.

Isa 6:8  And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, Here am I; send me!

It would be a number of years after I said that prayer and agreed to do this that I read the rest of what Isaiah wrote,

Isa 6:9  And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know.
Isa 6:10  Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed.
Isa 6:11  Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation,
Isa 6:12  and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.
Isa 6:13  But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return and be consumed like the terebinth and like the oak being felled, yet has its stump; the holy seed is its stump.

Yes, these things happened to Israel in Isaiah’s time. But I feel they are for us today as well.

Yes, Moses had the many miracles that took place before the Exodus and then he had the Red Sea Crossing to show Yehovah was with him. Like WOW, who could deny what was going on?

But even then, even after seeing all these things with their own eyes. Even after hearing Yehovah speak directly to them all with their own ears, the people began to rebel. You have them craving meat and then the Qual arrive and many died. Then Miriam and Aaron question Moses and Miriam becomes leprous. Then they were to enter the promised land and the spies brought back an evil report. They were cursed for forty years for not going up. And then we read about Korah’s rebellion thinking he and his family were just as good and righteous to lead the people and to do the duties in the Temple. The earth opened up and swallowed most of his clan.

Then there are those who say I am a false prophet because there are no healings and no miracles that follow me where ever I go. The things I could say but do not. The healing that Yehovah has done after I prayed, I do not brag about. Some know and come back and give praise. Others get healed and walk away as if it was just another day. And then again other times nothing comes of my prayers.

Should we leave or should we stay? Are we going too early? How is all of this going to work out?

I have shared everything with you all. I have explained to you everything and told you all to do your own research and prove this for yourselves. Those who do are now anxious and terrified, as am I. They now see the news and see how everything we are saying is lining up.

I made this pledge when I began. It is the very first thing you see on my web site each time you go there.

For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. – Isaiah 62:1

Here is the rest of that chapter.

Zion’s Coming Salvation

Isa 62:1  For Zion’s sake I will not be silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until its righteousness goes out as brightness, and her salvation as a burning lamp.
Isa 62:2  And the nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; and you will be called by a new name, which the mouth of Jehovah will name.
Isa 62:3  You also will be a crown of glory in the hand of Jehovah, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
Isa 62:4  You will no more be called Forsaken; nor will your land any more be called Desolate; but you will be called My Delight is in her, and your land, Married; for Jehovah delights in you, and your land is married.
Isa 62:5  For as a young man marries a virgin, so will your sons marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so will your God rejoice over you.
Isa 62:6  I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who will not always be silent all the day nor all the night; you who remember Jehovah, do not be silent.
Isa 62:7  And give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
Isa 62:8  Jehovah has sworn by His right hand, and by the arm of His strength, Surely I will no more give your grain to be food for your enemies; and the sons of strangers will not drink your wine for which you have labored.
Isa 62:9  But its gatherers will eat it and praise Jehovah; and they who collected it will drink it in My holy courts.
Isa 62:10  Pass! Pass through the gates; prepare the way of the people. Raise up! Raise up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a banner for the peoples.
Isa 62:11  Behold, Jehovah has sent a message to the end of the earth, Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes. Behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.
Isa 62:12  And they will call them, The Holy People, The Redeemed of Jehovah; and you will be called, Sought Out, a city not forsaken.

Her salvation has not yet come, I must continue to speak out. Alone if need be.

We are also told this in Isaiah

Isa 26:20  Come, my people, enter into your rooms and shut your doors around you; hide for a little moment, until the fury has passed by.

Isa 26:21  For behold, Jehovah comes out of His place to punish the people of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also shall reveal her blood, and shall no more cover her dead.

And we all know His fury is about to come. So where do we hide? And when do we go? That is the question that the second email is asking.

I am nobody for anybody to follow. I am just a man who started to read his bible one day. But unlike all of the rest of us who can say the same thing, I was shown the Sabbatical and Jubilee years and how they reveal end time prophecy. So the question is What if I am wrong?

My answer is What if I am right?

We all have some very tough decisions in front of us. None of them are easy.

The Lord Will Not Relent

Jer 15:1  Then Jehovah said to me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before Me, My soul could not be toward this people. Send them out of My sight, and let them go out.

Jer 15:2  And it will be, if they say to you, Where shall we go? Then you shall tell them, So says Jehovah: Those who are for death, go to death; and those for the sword, to the sword; and those for the famine, to the famine; and those for the captivity, to the captivity.

Jer 15:3  And I will set over them four kinds, says Jehovah; the sword to kill, and the dogs to tear, and the birds of the heaven and the beasts of the earth to devour and destroy.

The First Beast

Rev 13:1  And I stood on the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns. And on its horns were ten crowns, and on its heads was the name of blasphemy.

Rev 13:2  And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and its feet like those of a bear, and its mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him its power and its seat and great authority.

Rev 13:3  And I saw one of its heads as having been slain to death, and its deadly wound was healed. And all the earth marveled after the beast.

Rev 13:4  And they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, Who islike the beast? Who is able to make war with it?

Rev 13:5  And a mouth speaking great things was given to it, and blasphemies. And authority was given to it to continue forty-two months.

Rev 13:6  And it opened its mouth in blasphemy toward God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, and those dwelling in Heaven.

Rev 13:7  And it was given to it to war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given to it over every tribe and tongue and nation.

Rev 13:8  And all dwelling on the earth will worship it, those whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain, from the foundation of the world.

Rev 13:9  If anyone has an ear, let him hear.

Rev 13:10  He who leads into captivity will go into captivity. If anyone will kill with the sword, he must be killed by a sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Dan 11:32  And he will ruin by flattery those who do evil against the covenant. But the people who know their God will be strong and will work.

Dan 11:33  And those who understand among the people shall teach many; yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by exile, and spoil, for days.

Dan 11:34  And when they stumble, they shall be helped with a little help, but many will join them, with hypocrisy.

Dan 11:35  And many of those who understand shall stumble, to refine and purge them, and to make white, to the time of the end. Because it is still for the appointed time.

And yes, about 30 years before the Exodus some of the tribe of Ephraim did leave and went to go up to the land having figured the time was at hand. They were slaughtered by the Philistines. This is why Moses did not go by the upper road to the Promised land. What that story that my friend mentioned does not say is this. That from the time of Joseph’s death until the Exodus, a number of groups did leave Egypt. They settled in what would become Egypt and the west coast of Turkey. And they would form the Tribes that would eventually enter the land that would later be called Ireland and Britain, and were ready and able to help those who came after the captivity of the northern ten Tribes, 700 to 1000 years later.

We all have much to weigh and consider. We will be hosting a number of Zoom meetings to answer all your questions. Starting tonight at 5 PM. Eastern Time zone. This way Australia can also join us early in the morning.

The Dark Room

James has been in a struggle for a long time. These past 4 months have been very hard on him. He has asked if he could share this with all of you. This is his article.

The Dark Room & Depression

When someone has to deal with depression, many people do not understand what is going on in their minds. Depression can be brought on by many things, childhood memories, bullying, abuse, mental disorders and much more. But what is it like in the mind of those who suffer from this and can we see any remedy for this in scripture?

Well in order to demonstrate what it is like in the mind of someone who suffers from this, picture yourself being blindfolded and brought into a room with no windows and no light coming into the room. Then take off your blindfold once inside and in the room, and you have no idea how big the room is or be able to determine even if there is anything in the room with you.

Initially when you open your eyes you try to see and your pupils will open wide but you still see nothing. Herein lies the issue. When someone is depressed, you can see no way out of the situation or place you are in and there are many emotions that can flood the brain, including but not limited to fear, anxiety, loneliness, stress, over-whelmed, sadness, worthlessness, low or no energy.

When someone is going through depression, they filter their lives through all of these emotions regardless of whether or not it is warranted to every situation in life. So, simple issues can be blown out of proportion in their mind and solving simple problems seem impossible. The cycle can at times prove fatal as some see no solution and seek only death to escape this state of mind.

This article is not about resolving depression but seeing if the cause can be spiritually related and possibly spiritually resolved. While I would like to say that everyone can benefit from this information, there are people who are born with chemical imbalances, or other factors that are related to their condition. What I am speaking of here is what worked for me and I hope in the future to control through what I have found in this article and many more to come, a solution to this problem that has gripped so many people.

The period of the middle ages is often referred to as the dark ages. The dark ages were due to demographic, economic and cultural decline after the fall of the Roman empire. This is nothing compared to what we are experiencing in our time. We are presently living in a period of profound darkness, but this time the darkness is spiritual, and it is getting darker and darker. Darkness is the spiritual force that takes over when the will of YHVH is rejected. This gives the enemy legal right and authority. We are influenced by this darkness around us. We fall into temptation, we turn away from YHVH, our prayers are not effective, we don’t hear YHVH’s voice and don’t know His will. This is what it is like to be left in the dark room with no way out.

As believers, we are called to be lights in this darkness. The question is, are we effective in dispelling darkness or are we helping it along? We cannot do this alone; we need YHVH to help us and we need each other. In order for Him to help us, we need to be able to communicate with Him. We need to have an intimate relationship with Him, to be able to connect to Him, to be in His presence.

We read in 2 Chronicles:

2 Chronicles 7:14

14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

We are to humble ourselves, pray, seek YHVH’s face and turn from our wicked ways, then He will hear us, forgive our sin and heal our land. This is how darkness is dispelled.

In this article we are going to focus on prayer and more specifically on spiritual prayer altars. In our previous article, we mentioned how YHVH showed us that the Kotel or western wall in Jerusalem is a spiritual prayer altar, a spiritual gateway. We will confirm this from scripture and show you how we can erect spiritual prayer altars and see how YHVH effects change through prayer. Our assurance is to be in Him.

Our assurance in YHVH

YHVH will always be the One affecting change, not us. However, we are called to be lights, so we do have a role to play in dispelling darkness.

Luke 1:37

37 “For nothing will be impossible with Elohim.”

1 John 5:14

14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

YHVH hears our prayers, but sometimes our prayers are hindered.

Hindered prayers

As an example of such hindrance we can look at the passage in Daniel 10. Daniel was in Babylon at the time and Babylon was under Persian rule.

Daniel 10:12–13

12 Then he said to me, “Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your Elohim, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words. 13 “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.

What is described here took place in the spiritual realm. Daniel’s prayer was heard, but Gabriel was hindered in bringing an answer for 21 days. Michael, one of the chief princes came to help him. Babylon was ruled by Persia, not only physically, but also spiritually. The prince of the kingdom of Persia is the spiritual authority over that area. This authority was opposing YHVH’s authority and therefor the answer to Daniel’s prayer was hindered. Daniel persisted in prayer and Gabriel prevailed, with Michael’s help in bringing Daniel the answer from YHVH.

We are in a similar situation to Daniel. However, in the case of Daniel, we know He was righteous, he trusted YHVH and prevailed in prayer. Even so, the answer to his prayer was hindered. We live in the nations on defiled land. Can we claim the same righteousness and spiritual authority Daniel had? If not, how much more will our prayers be hindered?

The authority over us physically and spiritually is opposing to YHVH’s authority. Wherever people have rejected YHVH, spiritual darkness takes over, this can also be referred to as a closed heaven. Jeremiah explains it well:

Jeremiah 2:5–8

5 Thus says YHVH, “What injustice did your fathers find in Me, that they went far from Me And walked after emptiness and became empty? 6 “They did not say, ‘Where is YHVH Who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, Who led us through the wilderness, Through a land of deserts and of pits, Through a land of drought and of deep darkness, Through a land that no  one crossed And where no man dwelt?’ 7 “I brought you into the fruitful land To eat its fruit and its good things. But you came and defiled My land, And My inheritance you made an abomination. 8  “The priests did not say, ‘Where is YHVH?’ And those who handle the law   did not know Me; The rulers also transgressed against Me, And the prophets prophesied by Baal And walked after things that did not profit.

The land was defiled and the people, nor the priests realized they were far from YHVH. They did not ask “where is YHVH?” This is the problem with living in the nations ruled by darkness. We do not realize the situation we are in. We accept the authority and influence over us as normal. We do not ask “where is YHVH?” Why do we not hear His voice? Why do we not know His will for us? We continue on with our lives, blind and deaf, thinking it’s normal.

This can be different.

We were given dominion over the earth, not these dark spiritual forces, but we allow them to have dominion over us due to our inaction. John Mulinde writes about spiritual darkness:

Spiritual forces were not given dominion over the earth; man was (Gen 1: 28). Therefore, they do not have the legal authority to control the direction a society goes. But man chooses what   spiritual forces he is going to yield to. When man chooses darkness, he is not only inviting darkness to come into the spiritual atmosphere, but also to affect his way of life.2

This spiritual darkness can only be dispelled by yielding to YHVH and prayer. We are to follow Daniel’s example by living righteously and persisting in prayer. We are to build spiritual prayer altars. Allow us to explain.

Building an altar

The principle behind building an altar is illustrated by the passage about the census David took. It is written that David was moved by satan to number the people of Israel. Joab warned him not to do it, but he prevailed. YHVH was displeased about this. David realized what he had done and repented. He asked YHVH to take away his iniquity. YHVH sent Gad, a prophet, to David with three choices of judgment: 3 years of famine, 3 months in the hands of their enemies or three days of the sword of YHVH.

David chose to fall into YHVH’s hands – 70,000 people of Israel died because of the plague YHVH sent. Then YHVH sent the angel to destroy Jerusalem, but saw the calamity and relented. As YHVH told the destroying angel to stop, He let David see this destroying angel. Seeing the destroying angel with his drawn sword stretched out over Jerusalem was an act of mercy by YHVH. David and the elders with him fell on their faces before YHVH, pleading for mercy for the people.

1 Chronicles 21:15–17

15 And Elohim sent an angel to Jerusalem to destroy it; but as he was about to destroy it, YHVH saw and was sorry over the calamity, and said to the destroying angel, “It is enough; now relax your hand.” And the angel of YHVH was standing by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. 16 Then David lifted up his eyes and saw the angel of YHVH standing between earth and heaven, with his drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, covered with sackcloth, fell on their faces. 17 David said to Elohim, “Is it not I who commanded to count the people? Indeed, I am the one who has sinned and done very wickedly, but these sheep, what have they done? O YHVH my Elohim, please let Your hand  be against me and my father’s household, but not against Your people that they should be plagued.”

The angel then told David through Gad to build an altar to YHVH.

2 Samuel 24:18–19

18 So Gad came to David that day and said to him, “Go up, erect an altar to YHVH on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.” 19 David went up according to the word of Gad, just as YHVH commanded.

David bought this threshing floor and erected an altar there.

1 Chronicles 21:26–28

26 Then David built an altar to YHVH there and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. And he called to YHVH He answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt offering. 27YHVH commanded the angel, and he put his sword back in its sheath. 28 At that time, when David saw that YHVH had answered him on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite, he offered sacrifice there.

Building an altar creates an atmosphere of reconciliation with YHVH. YHVH heard David and held back the plaque.

2 Samuel 24:25

25 David built there an altar to YHVH and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. Thus YHVH was moved by prayer for the land, and the plague was held back from Israel.

The first temple was later built on this site.

YHVH allowed David to see the darkness of the coming judgment. David saw the angel with his outstretched arm against Jerusalem. David fell on his face and pleaded for deliverance. YHVH told him to build an altar to Him and offer sacrifices. When David did that, YHVH was moved by prayer for the land and the plague was held back.

In His great mercy, YHVH also allows us to see the darkness of judgment coming. This should prompt us to create an atmosphere of reconciliation with YHVH. We are to erect an altar to YHVH, a spiritual altar and offer our prayers as sacrifices on it. We are to seek restoration with YHVH and return to Him. He may then relent and stay the judgment against us.

Consider what is happening in the world. Has YHVH not shown us mercy in revealing to us what is coming? His judgment is at the door. What are we doing about it? Are we seeking reconciliation with YHVH, or do we prefer to go into denial, and continue our lives as normal?

Standing in the gap

When YHVH allows us to see the coming destruction and judgment, He is inviting us, even expecting us to build up the wall and stand in the gap.

Ezekiel 22:30

30 “I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one.

“Building up the wall” is a reference to restoring fellowship and “standing in the gap” refers to intercession – prayer on behalf of. When we pray, we actually battle in the spiritual realm.

John Mulinde writes about prayer altars:

Prayer altars are powerful. They can push back darkness, change the spiritual atmosphere of cities and nations, and bring redemption to elements of society that were eroding. They can bring about the purposes of God and produce tangible fruits of the kingdom of God flowing into the lives of the people of that land. 2

John Mulinde co-wrote a book with Mark Daniel titled “Prayer Altars: A Strategy That Is Changing Nations.”  This book forms the inspiration for most of what is written here. They share lots of testimonies in this book of how change was seen after YHVH’s presence was invited into homes, workplaces and even in the land of Uganda. It is a very inspiring book and worth a read.

Physical results are only possible after we have won the battle in the spiritual.

You will only find success in what you are doing in the physical realm after you have won the battle in the spiritual realm.” 2

What we see around us, physically, is the manifestation of the spiritual atmosphere around us. If darkness reigns, darkness will manifest, if darkness is pushed back, righteousness will be made manifest.

The building of altars to YHVH was done from the beginning. Cain and Abel did it, so did Noah. Abram is a great example of taking possession of the land for YHVH’s kingdom. John Mulinde refers to it as the Abrahamic strategy.

The Abrahamic strategy

In Genesis 12:1-3, we read about YHVH calling Abram to go out to the land YHVH has promised to him and his descendants. When YHVH called Abram, He called him to take possession of the land.

Everywhere Abraham went, he built altars to YHVH. The first place Abraham built an altar to YHVH was at Elon Moreh. This place still exists today. When you stand in this place, you have an amazing view of the land of Israel. I can imagine Abraham standing there, with a splendid view of the land of Canaan, hearing YHVH’s voice telling him that He give this land to his offspring. There he built an altar to YHVH.

Genesis 12:6–7

6 Abram passed through the land to the place at Shechem, to the oak of Moreh. At that time the Canaanites were in the land. 7 Then YHVH appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring I will give this land.” So, he built there an altar to YHVH, who had appeared to him.

Why did he do that? We have highlighted a clue for you. We will explain it further later on.

Genesis 12:8

8 From there he moved to the hill country on the east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. And there he built an altar to YHVH and called upon the name of YHVH.

Genesis 13:14–18

14 YHVH said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, “Lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward, 15for all the land that you see I will give to you and to your offspring forever. 16 I will make your offspring as the dust of the earth, so that if one can count the dust of the earth, your offspring also can be counted. 17 Arise, walk through the length and the breadth of the land, for I will give it to you.” 18 So Abram moved his tent and came and settled by the oaks of Mamre, which are at Hebron, and there he built an altar to YHVH.

The land of Canaan was inhabited by people who did not know YHVH. We read in Genesis 12:6 “At the time the Canaanites were in the land.” From this statement we know what can  be expected spiritually. The people of the land worshipped other gods, practiced witchcraft and all kinds of other ungodly practices. What the people did and worshipped was attracting dark spirits and gave these spirits legal authority over the land. The land of Canaan was under another spiritual principality. John Mulinde writes in his book about prayer altars:

The Canaanites and Perizzites, living in their pagan ways, were opening a spiritual gateway that was allowing spiritual forces of darkness to flow into the land, affecting all of the people who lived there. 2

The land was defiled. Defiled land attracts spiritual darkness. Places of sin become gateways for demons, unholy altars. It is the same today. We live on defiled land. Spiritual darkness is all around us. Physical places of sin like houses of prostitution are gateways for demons and we are affected by it.

A thought system in a country can also serve as an unholy altar. In the Netherlands, for example, humanism is practiced, taught and encouraged. By definition humanism is a system of thought that rejects religious beliefs and centers on humans and their values, capacities, and worth. YHVH is not worshipped in this system, the human being is. This is also a spiritual altar for darkness. The more this belief system is embraced and followed, the darker the spiritual atmosphere will become and the more dark practices will be allowed.

The Netherlands is one of only a few countries where prostitution is legalized, they are now lobbying to have Pedophilia recognized as a lifestyle choice. The law regulating euthanasia is being broadened more and more. People who are depressed can have themselves euphonized in order to end their misery. You can see from these examples how the darkness is increasing because it is embraced by society.

These are just two examples of unholy altars. As I said before, when YHVH’s way and will is rejected, spiritual darkness rules and we will see it manifest around us.

We live in this corrupted atmosphere; we don’t recognize it because we have grown accustomed to it. This darkness affects us, it draws us into a spiritual slumber, blindness and powerlessness. Sound familiar? We have a tendency to accept the darkness and accept it as the norm and allow it to continue as something we can do nothing about. This is wrong!

In building altars, Abraham was contending with this spiritual darkness, preparing the land spiritually for change. These altars drew the presence of YHVH and broke the powers of darkness. They were like beacons in the physical and spiritual realm, showing that the spiritual authority and atmosphere was changing. Abram was taking territory from the forces of darkness and claiming it for the kingdom of YHVH. This is what spiritual warfare is about. We don’t exist in a spiritual vacuum; we are affected spiritually by what goes on in our area and the country we live in. There is no neutral ground, it is either part of the kingdom of YHVH or the kingdom of darkness. We are fighting a spiritual battle, fighting for territory. Territory equals influence and if we lose territory, YHVH’s kingdom loses influence.

Isaac continued in the same way as Abraham, building and maintaining the altars his father has built.

Genesis 26:24–25

24  YHVH appeared to him the same night and said, “I am the Elohim of your father    Abraham; Do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you, and multiply your descendants, For the sake of My servant Abraham.” 25 So he built an altar there and called upon the name of YHVH, and pitched his tent there; and there Isaac’s servants dug a well.

Jacob too continued building altars to YHVH

Genesis 33:18–20

18 Now Jacob came safely to the city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Paddan-aram, and camped before the city. 19 He bought the piece of land where he had pitched his tent from the hand of the sons of Hamor, Shechem’s father, for one hundred pieces of money. 20 Then he erected there an altar and called it El-Elohe-Israel.

Genesis 35:6–7

6 So Jacob came to Luz (that is, Bethel), which is in the land of Canaan, he and all the people who were with him. 7 He built an altar there, and called the place El-bethel, because there Elohim had revealed Himself to him when he fled from his brother.

This passage in Genesis 35 is very significant. We will return to it in the next section.

The building of altars continued from generation to generation, claiming the land for the kingdom of YHVH. Moses, Joshua, David and many others, built altars for YHVH.

We know from scripture what an altar is. There are detailed instructions in scripture. The question is how do we apply this in our lives. Can we? We first need to define what an altar is.

What is an altar?

An altar is a place of light in the impenetrable darkness of sin, a doorway linking the physical realm to the spiritual realm.

In other words, an altar is a gate of heaven.

A Gate of Heaven

When Jacob was fleeing from Esau after he cheated him out of his birthright and blessing, he went towards Haran, and spent the night at a place known as Bethel. There he had a dream.

Genesis 28:10–19

10 Then Jacob departed from Beersheba and went toward Haran. 11 He came to a certain place and spent the night there, because the sun had set; and he took one of the stones of the place and put it under his head, and lay down in that place. 12 He had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set on the earth with its top reaching to heaven; and behold, the angels of Elohim were ascending and descending on it.  13  And behold, YHVH stood above it and said, “I am   YHVH, the Elohim of your father Abraham and the Elohim of Isaac; the land on which you lie, I will give it to you and to your descendants. 14  “Your descendants will also be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east and to the north and to    the south; and in you and in your descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed. 15 “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” 16 Then Jacob  awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely YHVH is in this place, and I did not know it.” 17 He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of  Elohim, and this is the gate of heaven.” 18 So Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on its top. 19 He called the name of that place Bethel; however, previously the name of the city had been Luz.

What is interesting about this place is that this is the place where Abraham previously built an altar.

Genesis 12:8

8 Then he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to YHVH and called upon the name of YHVH.

The altar Abraham built established a gateway in heaven. YHVH’s presence resided there. This shows us the significance of building a prayer altar. It creates a gateway to heaven.

Our hearts are altars

The question is, do we have to build a physical structure like Abraham and all the others did? This is a good question.

After Solomon built and inaugurated the temple, he prayed to YHVH. YHVH answered him.

2 Chronicles 7:12–16

12 Then YHVH appeared to Solomon at night and said to him, “I have heard your prayer  and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice. 13  “If I shut up the heavens   so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, 14  and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and   pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 “Now My eyes will be open and My ears  attentive to the prayer offered in this place. 16 “For now I have chosen and consecrated this house that My name may be there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there   perpetually.

YHVH said He heard Solomon’s prayer and has chosen this place for himself as a house of sacrifice. He said He would be attentive to the prayers offered there. This place was chosen, it had a physical altar where both sacrifices and prayer were offered up to YHVH.

Much later, after Y’shua’s death and resurrection, we read in the epistle to the Corinthians that each of us is a temple of the living Elohim.

2 Corinthians 6:16

16 Or what agreement has the temple of Elohim with idols? For we are the temple of the living Elohim; just as Elohim said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.

We are temples of the Living Elohim, our hearts are. We don’t mean the physical organ that pumps blood, but our inner being, our mind, will and emotions. We need to dedicate and surrender our hearts completely to YHVH and our prayers will be spiritual sacrifices. We are living stones, used to build a spiritual house and our prayers are our sacrifices.

1 Peter 2:5

5 you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to Elohim through Y’shua Messiah.

Hebrews 13:15

15 Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to Elohim, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.

The concept of prayers being sacrifices is not only found in the Apostolic writings. We find in the Tanakh also.

Psalm 141:2

2 May my prayer be counted as incense before You; The lifting up of my hands as the evening offering.

Psalm 119:108

108 O accept the freewill offerings of my mouth, O YHVH, And teach me Your ordinances.

Hosea 14:2

2 Take words with you and return to YHVH. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity And receive us graciously, That we may present the fruit of our lips.

Prayers are sacrifices and their purpose is the same as physical sacrifices. It is about giving thanks, alleviating guilt and restoring fellowship with our heavenly Father. When someone is depressed, they can see no further than themselves and the situation that they are in. So, everything is focused inward which is opposite to what we are supposed to be doing. This is the affect the darkness has on us and why we need to be spending more time in prayer to prevent and push away the darkness.

Today, we are the living sacrifice (Rom 12: 1). Our lives are laid on the altar, surrendered and yielded to YHVH. This is a reasonable act of worship. The offerings we lay at the altar include our soft, yielded, surrendered hearts and wills. We come to the altar to offer our lives and give ourselves in submission to God, creating an opening for the spiritual realm to impact the physical realm. 2

We also know from scripture that only a perfect animal is acceptable as a sacrifice to YHVH. Through Y’shua’s blood that was shed for us, we are acceptable before YHVH. Y’shua’s death for our sin satisfied the holiness YHVH requires of us. We need to and can surrender ourselves completely to YHVH on a daily basis.

A Time for Prayer

At the time the temple stood, people used to go there for prayer at the time of the morning and evening sacrifices. Just as there were specific times for the daily sacrifices, so we too must set aside special time for prayer. We must make this a priority. Y’shua, when He was on earth, made time to pray to YHVH.

Mark 1:35

35 In the early morning, while it was still dark, Y’shua got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there.

The early believers did the same (Acts 10:9.) If we don’t set aside a special time for prayer, it will remain a good intention. Our lives are busy and there will always be something to distract us if we let it or chose to.

This prayer time is not about just spending a certain time in prayer, maybe read the bible or journal, but about building that deep communion with YHVH. To commune with YHVH is to be in a state of intimate, heightened sensitivity and receptivity towards YHVH. To be in His presence. It is about pushing back the forces of darkness and making contact with YHVH.

We were created to be in YHVH’s presence, sin changed that. However, through Y’shua it is possible to go boldly before YHVH’s throne and commune with Him. Through creating the right environment, we can experience YHVH’s presence every day.

When we read Psalm 42, we get an idea of how David at times struggled to commune with YHVH. He hungered for that special communion with YHVH.

Psalm 42:1–2

1 As the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, O Elohim.

2 My soul thirsts for Elohim, for the living Elohim; When shall I come and appear before Elohim?

Psalm 42:7

7   Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; All Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me.

Communion with YHVH is deep calling to deep. It is about our spirit connecting and communing with His Spirit. We need to be dedicated to the time we set aside to commune with YHVH and keep distractions away. Any and every distraction will prevent us from really communing with YHVH on a deep level. We are to press in and really focus on YHVH. First thing in the morning works best for us. Leave your email, social media and other interesting articles till later. Focus on YHVH first, seek His face and wait for Him.

Psalm 27:8

8   When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, O YHVH, I shall seek.”

Psalm 27:14

14 Wait for YHVH; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for YHVH.

David was in my opinion an expert on prayer. He shows deep insight in communing with YHVH. We can learn much about prayer from the psalms he wrote, for in these psalms he poured out his heart to YHVH.

Not only are we to set aside special time for prayer, we are to keep the fire burning throughout the day

Keep the Fire Burning

The fire on the altar was to be kept burning (Lev 6:12). During the day the priests would tend to the altar to make sure this is done. We are to do the same.

The element of tending the fire and not allowing it to go out is very important. It is not so much about saying prayers all day long. It  is  about  having  your  heart  connected,  yielded  to  God, and seeking for the connection to  continue  throughout  the  day.  You  will  find  things throughout your day that try to shut your heart down, pull you into your flesh, or grieve the Spirit   of God. If you tend the altar, then you turn to God through the day, allowing Him to lead you, strengthen you, refocus you, or guide you.

Abiding with God is an entrusting of yourself to Him to be kept inflamed. It is not a work, but a consenting of His work through you.2
Abiding with YHVH is to yield ourselves to Him continually. Whenever we become negative or frustrated, we are to turn to Him. This way, we keep the fire burning on the altar of our hearts. We are also to remain in obedience to YHVH. Disobedience to YHVH’s instructions will extinguish the fire and attract darkness, not light putting us right back alone and back in the darkness we so desperately want to stay away from.

Romans 8:7–8

7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to Elohim, for it does not submit to Elohim’s law; indeed, it cannot. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please Elohim.

Being in the flesh means being in sin. When we displease YHVH through disobedience, we will not invite His presence. We will not hear His voice and will not know His will for us.

James 4:7–10

7   Submit yourselves therefore to Elohim. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to Elohim, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before YHVH, and he will exalt you.

Sin causes spiritual death; this was so from the beginning.

The spiritual force of darkness will blind, hinder, weaken, harden, and exert forces against us to continue to push us further and further away from YHVH and His will. The longer we stay in darkness, the more lost we become, the more we see old patterns of sin and flesh coming in, and the more we see godly desires and ways eroding.2

When we sin, we allow this spiritual force of darkness to influence us. It is like suffering a slow spiritual death. Sin originates in our minds, exactly where depressions sets its hold on those who allow it. We are to be vigilant not to allow or agree with thoughts that will lead us to sin.

The Bible tells us to guard our hearts and our minds ( Phil 4: 7 ). Paul says to renew our minds to truth (Rom 12: 2), and Y’shua tells us that if we know the truth, the truth will set us free (John 8: 32). 2

Philippians 4:8   “Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is   pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything, worthy of praise, dwell on these things.”

When this happens, despite what some people believe, we are not able to commune with YHVH or experience His presence. However, when we cleanse ourselves through repentance and draw near to YHVH in prayer, we will be able to commune with YHVH, hear His voice and know His will for us. His presence will expose the darkness in our lives further and we will be able to cleanse ourselves and those areas and able to draw even closer to Him.

Conclusion

Darkness is all around us, spiritual darkness. This darkness influences us every day. The enemy has unholy altars everywhere and these altars form a habitat for dark spiritual powers. Whenever the will and ways of YHVH is rejected, these powers flourish. We can be influenced by these forces if we choose to yield to them. Not doing anything about the situation, means we allow it, which is equal to yielding to it. We are to ask ourselves “where is YHVH? Why don’t I hear His voice?” Could it be because I have so yielded to the darkness around that He doesn’t feel welcome?

We as believers in YHVH can do something about this. I know, YHVH doesn’t need us, but we need Him. So why do we have to do anything? Simple, because YHVH does not force Himself on people, we have to choose Him and then through prayer the world can literally be changed. Where YHVH’s presence dwells, change well be seen. This darkness can be dispelled through giving our hearts wholly to YHVH as prayer altars to Him, inviting His presence into our lives when we offer up the sacrifices of our lips. We can influence other believers to do the same, so creating a network of prayer altars. These altars of prayer, invite YHVH’s presence into our lives, homes, family, workplaces and community and His presence will affect change.

His presence shows us the way and it illuminated and exposes the darkness.

The question is how desperate are you for change? How desperate are you to commune with YHVH, to hear His voice? Are we going to wait until all is falling apart around us, or will you take a stand against the darkness around us, by inviting YHVH’s presence into our lives?

As I said at the beginning this is not a cure , at least not a medical cure for depression, but for someone who has spent a great deal  of my life allowing that depression to sink its teeth into my life, I can tell you this is the only solution that I have found that actually works. Maybe, just maybe it will work for you as well. My prayers go out to all who are afflicted by this.

    Thank you, Joseph and James,
From start to finish this newsletter touches my heart. For many months I have been terrified and slipping deeper and deeper into darkness, depression and sin. I have a lifelong issue with worthlessness and it has been magnified by my failure to reach even one person with the message of Truth. That and my poor health have left me in spiritual darkness.
A life of prayer has to be the only way through. Whatever time I have left must be devoted to prayer,- to connecting with Yehovah. I have a small shed outside my house where I can spend time at the spiritual altar in prayer. I am determined to awaken at sunrise each day and go there. Maybe I can’t change myself or bring anyone else to Yehovah, but I CAN do that. Amen
    Shabbat Shalom

Goodday and pleasant Sabbath to all. James, your article came as yet another bell sounding an alarm to me. Over the past 6 months, I had briefly seen some videos concerning awareness of the spiritual altars surrounding us and I did not watch the whole videos because of the way the message was conveyed, a very subjective reasoning I admit. I also rather reading than watching things. Then last month I received a video concerning the importance of continual prayer and communion with YHWH, making it our business to make time for it throughout our day, this message I shared with others because it came as a “reminder” (for lack of a better word).. Because earlier this year, I had started to research prayer in the bible. I did not analyze all occurences but it made me see that prayer is not just another formality to dispatch with at the end or beginning pf a busy day. And yet when I moved on to other research I became complacent once again. So when the video came through, it brought me back to it. And now to top it off, here comes your article as a 3rd bell for me. I thank you for it. I am not depressed but will definetly share this with someone I know who is having a hard time recently. I will endeavour to impliment it within my family unit also rather than just my own person. My children can definetely benefit from this. So once more Thanks, maybe you are just the medium by which the message is sent but I thank you for heeding that call. I also wish to thank Joseph for heeding his call, it is for each of us, with the knowledge that we now have, to choose which way to follow. There is no guarantee of how long we live but we must live in Faith and do our best so that death meets us living in Light. It is not easy but we have to do what is necessary to walk with YHWH. Best regards to all

    Dear James,
I am not a doctor; nor do I play one on television BUT, over the years I have studied natural medicine. I am, also, the owner of two autoimmune disorders: Celiac Disease and Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. (I only found out about the Celiac Disease after getting down upon my knees and asking Yehovah “what” was wrong with me. Immediately got up, went to the computer and there it was: a newsletter email about the connection between Celiac and thyroid disease. Convinced Yehovah had answered my prayer, I printed out the article, took it to my doctor, who scoffed at me and asked: “What makes you think you have that?” After explaining to him how “God” had answered my prayer, and the doctor’s eyes rolling back in his head, he tested me for Celiac. He did not believe until the test confirmed that not only did I have Celiac, but my Vitamin D3, B-12 and iron levels had tanked – – meaning severe malnutrition and malabsorption issues.)
Now, I do not suffer from depression, but when I start to feel “bluesy” it is an indication that something in my diet is out of kilter. Low Vitamin D, Vitamin B, magnesium, zinc, omega-3s levels are connected to depression. Even sugar consumption has been linked to depression. My Celiac is genetically inherited, but keep in mind that food allergies and food intolerance runs rampant in our society. Never underestimate the power of food and a change in diet upon the human body and mind. Yehovah created these bodies; He knows what makes them work and what doesn’t.
” . . . Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Luke 11:9-10

Karen, I can attest to such a similar testimony for my own life. YHVH provided answers for me too regarding celiac and Hashimotos thyroiditis, but to my surprise, He asked me to make some seriously difficult changes, crash courses in nutrition and biology in order to not only discover what was wrong but to have the faith and fortitude to maintain the healing once He brought it. He gave me answers and lead me to many online articles, a few different naturopaths (and provided the money to save up to pay them!) who would order the correct lab tests. Now I take the vitamins, amino acids, probiotics to help. I get my iron and ferritin checked every 6 months and I have even found a compounding pharmacy to make me thyroid supplements that do not contain pig ingredients or other yucky additives. I have avoided all gluten containing foods for 8 years now which has made an enormous impact on the amount of depression I used to struggle with because now my brain cells are not having to battle so much inflammation every day, so I can think clearer. When the gut is healthy, then it can make more happy neurotransmitters too. He has shown me a parralel spiritual lesson. When I placed greater boundaries around my physical lifestyle regarding nutrition and toxins, what I ended up with was actually more freedom and this is the same blessing that occurs spiritually
when we chose to obey Him in love. Shalom!

    Shalom All
I praise our Most High Elohim who has made this newsletter so balanced with reality. The reality of warfare spreading and only held back by a thread, the reality of our doubts & fears being exposed, the reality of Abba’s plan to draw His children together in the midst of trial. The reality that we can oppose darkness & be a part of the Salvation plan in connected intentional prayer offering, the reality that obedience is faith in the midst of trial, the reality that Abba tends His children in their weakness & illness to have a stronger bond with them. The reality that In Him we are Good & His mercy does a great work to remove the fractures in our lives to expose His workmanship .
Spoke with a friend who was looking at wheat & chaff in prayer & Abba showed her the chaff in our lives protects the true seed as it matures from damage but needs to be removed so the true seed of being God’ s child can be planted and produce a plant for a plentiful harvest of more seed that must be processed by the removal of the chaff.
I am so grateful to Abba for lifting James to shine again. You have been in my prayer heart for this.
My hope is Severain has had surgery & is well healed. I hope to hear back y news of his welfare.
Shavua Tov. Also still can’t use the IDL to reckon the start of a Hebrew day week or month though.
Have sent a donation through but there was no provision for its allocation. I wanted both Philippines & Burundi to be assisted this time.
    Thankyou Joseph.
    Be blessedFJ

Duterte wants speedy construction of evacuation centers
The Real Reason WHY the Taal Volcano Batangas Erupted.
I can see God’s Hand in this.
From this Eruption – – The following developed.
My Question is – – Is God preparing Large Evacuation Centres for His protected Prisoners Of War – – P.O.W. – – Those He had chosen to live during the 2300 Days Hell.
Jeremiah 15:1 Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.
Jeremiah 15:2 And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity.
Jeremiah 15:3 And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 15) — President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday told his Cabinet officials he wants more evacuation centers in the country and he wants it done before his term ends in 2022.
He gave this order to his Cabinet secretaries and disaster officials during a situation briefing on the eruption of Taal Volcano , which displaced thousands of residents in Batangas and nearby areas.
“Kailangan matapos ahead yung — make it simultaneous — evacuation center… I hope you can finish it before my term ends,” the President said in a meeting held at the Batangas ProvincialSports Complex in Batangas City.
He told them to come up with a realistic timeline for the construction of temporary shelters nationwide, reminding them not to start projects that cannot be finished before his presidency ends in two and a half years.
“Do not start on projects that you cannot finish beyond my term. I want projects that are doable and can be finished during my term… Do not dream of ‘yung malalaking hindi matapos kasi hindi ko ia-approve ‘yan. Ayaw kong mag-iwan ng project na hindi tapos,” Duterte said.
More than 30,000 people have been evacuated as Taal Volcano continues to spew ash, smoke, and magma. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council on Tuesday said 6,891 families or 30,432 individuals from Batangas and Cavite were affected by the eruption. Of this number, 6317 families were from Batangas while 574 came from Cavite, Office of Civil Defense Assistant Secretary Casiano Monilla said during the briefing of disaster response officials in Malacañang on Tuesday.

James , your letter about depression and the Altars could not have come at a better time. I can see exactly what you are saying and how it works . We must be in the right spirit and will bring him to us when we are clean and righteous and especially Humbled to seek his face . By creating these portals or conduits to the land we then help remedy the curses on this land and remove darkness from that place. It is all voluntary to accept either sprirt But if the right spirit is void then the other can easily get a foothold especially if the sprirt of wickedness is already near for darkness attracts more dark matter. We are the LIGHT to the world or portals where we stand in darkness then many will come toward that light and its self fulfilling .
I am so grateful that You are part of the Sightedmoon team and a leader in this movement by Yehovah . May Yehovah bless you greatly for allowing his spirit and messages worked through you.. There is no question that he has answered one of my prayers here. Thankyou.

Yep that is what it is all about. We fight the spiritual darkness in spiritual ways to overcome its effects over the physical. Our hearts and minds our spouses and children and family neighbours and bosses friends and enemies both great and small all begins in our Temple heart with the humble and cleansed approach to offer. The great exchange begins the moment we accept the yoke of accepting the spiritual comes first and that we are Elohims’ to fight the good fight of FAITH..!!Shavua Tov FJ
      Blessings to ALL .
