Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,

Yehovah Holds Back the Winds

Hurricane Dorian has been said to be one of the worst hurricanes to come across the Atlantic this year and possibly up there with some of the worse.

It grew to a Cat 5 status and then planted itself on top of the Bahamas for 48 hours moving at 1 mile per hour. 48 hours with Cat 5 winds of up to 200 MPH. Imagine being in your home with those winds howling outside for 48 hours.

GREAT ABACO, BAHAMAS – SEPTEMBER 04: An aerial view of damage caused by Hurricane Dorian is seen in Marsh Harbour on Great Abaco Island on September 4, 2019 in Great Abaco, Bahamas. A massive rescue effort is underway after Hurricane Dorian spent more than a day inching over the Bahamas, killing at least seven as entire communities were flattened, roads washed out and hospitals and airports swamped by several feet of water, according to published reports. Here are some verses for you to know that it is Yehovah who controls the winds.

Amo 4:13  For lo, He forms the mountains and creates the wind, and declares to man what his thought is. He who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the high places of the earth; Jehovah, the God of Hosts, is His name.

Isa 29:1  Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! Add year to year; let them kill their sacrifices.  Then I will distress Ariel, and there shall be heaviness and sorrow; and it shall be to me as Ariel.  And I will camp against you all around, and will lay siege against you with a mount, and I will raise forts against you.  And you shall be brought down; you shall speak out of the ground, and your speech shall be low out of the dust, and your voice shall be like a spiritist, out of the ground, and your speech shall whisper out of the dust. And the multitude of your strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passes away; yea, it shall be at an instant, suddenly.  You shall be visited by Jehovah of Hosts with thunder, and with earthquake and great noise, with storm and whirlwind, and the flame of devouring fire.

Psalm 147:18  He sends forth His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow and the waters to flow.

Psalm 148:8 Fire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;

Ezekiel 13:13 Therefore, thus says the Yehovah, “I will make a violent wind break out in My wrath. There will also be in My anger a flooding rain and hailstones to consume it in wrath.

Psalm 104:4 He makes the winds His messengers, Flaming fire His ministers.

Having watched the utter destruction that befell the Bahamas, last weekend in our Feast of Trumpets study we touched on this one verse in Revelation.

Rev 7:2  And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,  saying, Do not hurt the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.  And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousands, having been sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel.

Right now we are still in the process of being sealed. That sealing is what happens when people repent and begin to keep the Sabbath and the Holy Days. Those who do not do this are not sealed, and are then subject to Revelation 9.

Rev 9:1  And the fifth angel sounded. And I saw a star fall from the heaven to the earth, and it was given the key of the abyss. And it opened the bottomless pit. And there arose a smoke out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace. And the sun and air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit.  And out of the smoke came forth locusts onto the earth. And authority was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have authority. And they were commanded not to hurt the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months. And their torment was like a scorpion’s torment when he stings a man.

If it is true that the winds right now are being held back, then I cannot imagine how bad it is going to get when those four angels are let loose.

Right now we are on Shabbat Shuva, the Sabbath during the Ten Days of Awe and just before the Day of Atonement. This Sabbath is a call to return, to Yehovah. These Ten Days of Awe are a call to repentance. Pray Yehovah will forgive you for you evil that you do and your secret sins that you do not want anyone to know. Repent while you have time to do so.

Pray that your name will be found in the Book of Life.

Saving the World Through Abortion?

This week Bernie Sanders who is running for the Democratic position to be the next President of the USA was asked a loaded question.
In order to save the world from overpopulation and how this overpopulation is already wreaking havoc on climate change, would he support abortion to reduce the population and save the planet?

I could hardly believe my ears when I heard this. But this is just how deranged the leadership of the USA has become and Senator Sanders was all in favour of supporting this effort to have abortions in poor nations. In other words, he was supporting genocides in the poor nations of the world. The USA has now aborted over 60 million since this law was approved there.
You may have to listen to the question a few times to hear exactly what they are saying and just how eager the senator was to endorse this barbaric type of society that he envisions.

The ICEJ event in Jerusalem

Monday this past week I called the ICEJ event in Jerusalem to talk to them about our acquiring a booth at the October Sukkot they are hosting.

They have about 5,000 people from around the world and many from Jerusalem come and see what they are showing. They are willing to make room for our 10 foot by 20 foot banner in what they are calling Area “A”

Everyone at the conference would be walking past our booth area. Everyone. They would be able to hear us teach quickly what they were looking at and just where we are, here at the end of the 6th millennial day of man. They would also be taught the 70 Jubilee cycles of Daniel and how we are in the middle of that 70th week in 2020.

We also have this 10 foot tall pop up banner to show how the Jubilee cycles, when compared to one another, reveal truths.

And on the back side of it looks like this. Sorry about the sun glare. I was in a hurry before Sabbath began, to set it up and take it back down again.

At the conference I am hoping to reach as many of them with our message as I can. I had also hoped to have Pauline fly in from Australia to help me share this message and take any orders we might get.

Here is a picture of the Banner after I had put it together last weekend in my driveway.

And here again is the front, with me holding it due to the wind. You can now see just how large this is and it covers the entire 120 Jubilee Cycles from the beginning to the end.

So here is the problem I have. We had just sent James to Burundi last month ($9,000). And we had the banners made up ($3,000). We also have an advertising campaign going with the NRB for the next 6 month ($3,500). But we were turned down from having a booth at their national convention in Nashville in February. I have asked James to build us an online school. We mentioned this is recent News Letters. The cost to start this project is projected at about $20,000 and James has let me know this is doable, but he is going to need some skilled programmers to help put it all together. He is still doing some research to make sure we can accomplish everything we want to incorporate into the online school.

Right now our budget is broke and we are in debt from the cost of doing these things so far. It will get paid off over the coming months. But the cost of the ICEJ event is going to be $7,900 Canadian for the booth alone. The cost to fly Pauline and myself to Jerusalem for this 4 day event during Sukkot in October, one month from now, is approximately $5,000 for airfare and housing and food.

We are asking for your prayers. We are asking for a number of miracles. We are asking for Yehovah to help us to do this now at this time.

On the Feast of Trumpets Hezbollah forces in Lebanon shot at Israeli forces in Israel.

Hezbollah claims to have destroyed an IDF vehicle near the Israel-Lebanon border

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Sunday that a military base was struck by anti-tank missiles fired by Lebanese-based terror organization Hezbollah near the border.

The Shi’ite group claimed to have destroyed an IDF vehicle following the projectile fire.

The IDF said no soldiers were injured by the two or three missiles fired by Hezbollah, which hit a military jeep and an army post.

Also on the Feast of Trumpets Hurricane Dorian hit Bahamas and destroys it with Cat 5 winds gusting to over 200 miles per hour. And by the time you receive this News Letter it will have swiped the coast of Florida. The riots in Hong Kong continue to get worse each week and the BREXIT fiasco is once again causing another election of still another Prime Minister of the UK. Did I mention the stock markets are swinging wildly in both directions?

I am sharing world news with you to remind just how relevant our message is as we show people just how close we are to the end of this age and the coming of the Messiah. We need a miracle right now to cover the cost of attending at the ICEJ event and to bring this message to the 5,000 from around the world who will be there. Please keep us in your prayers.

And if you would like to donate to this and help us to do this event then please go to our donate page. I believe this is important. And I believe our banner is the perfect tool to get that message across to all of these people from around the world. But it does cost money to do these things. Many complain about us selling our books. This is where that money goes. And we have given away many books to those who have asked. We are not doing this to make a fortune. We are doing this to fulfill our duty to Ezekiel 33 and warning the people of the coming sword. Be a part of this warning and help us.

If each one of our Subscribers to the News Letter and those who read it each week were to make an extra donation this month of just $30 this cost would be covered. Of the booth and our flights to Israel in October. But if those subscribers were to donate $60 right now this then would cover the work James is doing to build an online Torah based school for homeschooling and Torah teachers alike, including live teachings that everyone could participate online in.

Some, of course cannot afford to do this and I understand and in no way do I want to add any pressure to you. But for those who can afford this and more, please do consider us when you go to make you gift before Yehovah on each of the Holy Days this 7th month. We are not the Levitical Priests nor are we the Temple. But I do believe we are doing an important end work that needs to be shared. Will you help us?

Deu 16:16  Three times in a year shall all your males appear before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose: in the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and in the Feast of Weeks, and in the Feast of Tabernacles. And they shall not appear before Jehovah empty, but each with his gift in his hand, according to the blessing of Jehovah your God, which He has given you.

Sukkot Penticton B.C

As mentioned in last weeks News Letter I will be speaking in Penticton, B.C. in Canada NOT Kelowna as I had said before. The Group will be in Naramata. We are still working on teaching at the ICEJ event in Jerusalem at the Hebrew Calendar Sukkot in October although this is not yet confirmed.

If you are nearby and have not yet made plans for Sukkot then here is a link to see if this is the place for you.

No matter what you are doing, I pray Yehovah will bless you in understanding His Holy Moedims, His times when we are to meet with Him, either as a group or individually. The more you obey the more you will come to know Him which was not what the 5 foolish virgins did. They did not know Him.

It has been my hope that each of you and those of you who are new to this walk would come to know and appreciate just how special each Holy Day was and is by giving you both the meaning of each day and then the deeper meanings of it and how they show you events in your bible that you may never have considered. And I hope I have shown you how you need these Holy Days in order to understand the New testament. At least, I hope I have been able to do that.

Yehovah bless you and keep you. Yehovah shine His face upon you and open your minds to His truths so that you keep this walk and by your examples encourage others to also join us in this walk.
Chag Sameach my Brethren and My Family in Yehovah.

“777”

One of our readers sent this in to me this week.

Lewis pointed something out to me I had to share with you. This coming Shabbat is the 7th day of the seventh month and on a Sabbath 777. Not to mention the date will be September the seventh. Lots of sevens, wow. That can’t happen often can it?

Online Day of Atonement Meeting

Day of Atonement online meeting for all who want to come.

We had 60 groups of people join us for our Feast of Trumpets teaching online. And among those 60 viewers were even more in the same room. We could have easily been over 100 for our very first meeting online. Once I posted it on YouTube unedited we have had over 430 more views.

Chatting began two hours before, with many getting to know others. After I taught for 1 and 1/2 hour the brethren continued to chat with each other for a couple more hours. It was a very lovely day, all of us meeting each other for the first time or renewing old friendships.

We have been asked to do this again on the Day of Atonement and I have agreed to do so. Remember this day you are to afflict yourselves from sunset of the 9th until the end of the day of Atonement on the 10th at sunset. No eating or drinking or Yehovah says He will cut you off and destroy you.

Lev 23:29  For any soul who is not humbled in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.

Lev 23:30  And any soul who does any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

I hope to have you understand why Yehovah is deadly serious about this day and why you need to be as well.

The meeting room will be open at 12 Noon Eastern time zone. The teaching will begin at 1 and will be about 1 1/2 hours. Chatting and questions will be after that. I know for a fact this will be a controversial teaching. It always is. Come and learn and then think about the scriptures you read. I will provide them for you to go and restudy afterwards.

And just so you know we will again do this online teaching on the 8th Day for those of you who are not able to go away to any of the Feasts this year.

Here is your invitation to the meeting.

Joseph Dumond is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Shabbat Shuva

Once this Feast of Trumpets is declared then and only then can we know the rest of the Fall Holy Days are to take place.

Lev 23:24 Speak to the sons of Israel saying: In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath, a memorial summons, a holy convocation. You shall do no work of labor but you shall offer a fire offering to Jehovah.

Once we know when the Day of Trumpets is, the day no one knows, then we can count Ten Days to the Day of Atonement.

This week we are going to look at these ten days and show you things about this teaching you will not have considered. Especially in Prophecy.

On the 9th of Av or the 9th day of the 5th month the curse was given to Israel to wander in the wilderness for 40 years before being allowed into the Promised Land.

This is very significant. 50 Days later using the month as a 29 day month would bring you to the Feast of Trumpets. 20 Days for the remainder of the 5th month and 29 for the 6th month.

The Feast of Trumpets and the day of Pentecost and The Jubilee year are all related in the meaning and importance thereof. And for that matter so is The Eighth Day Feast. So from the 9th of Av until Atonement is 50 days and something to keep in mind as you repent and prepare yourself for the wedding. Again al these Feasts are connected and lead you in the plan of salvation.

Let’s take a quick look at each one again.

Shavuot, the Feast of Pentecost;

Exo 19:15 And he said to the people, Be ready for the third day. Do not approach a woman. And it happened on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mountain. And the voice of the trumpet was exceedingly loud, so that all the people in the camp trembled. And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God. And they stood at the lower part of the mountain. And Mount Sinai was smoking, all of it, because Jehovah came down upon it in fire. And the smoke of it went up like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and became very strong, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice. And Jehovah came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And Jehovah called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

The Feast of Trumpets depicts nothing less than the return of Yehshua to the earth to establish the Kingdom of Yehovah! The book of Revelation reveals a sequence of earth-shaking events heralded by angels sounding a series of seven trumpet blasts.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh messenger sounded, and there came to be loud voices in the heaven, saying, “The reign of this world has become the reign of our Master, and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!”1 Footnote: 1See 12:10, Ps. 2:8, Ps. 22:28, Dan. 2:44, Dan. 7:13-14, Obad. 15-21, Hag. 2:22, Zech. 14:9. .

Actually, the word “trumpet” does not appear in this verse. The phrase “trumpet blasts” translates a single Hebrew word, teruah, which means a loud, resounding noise—a great shout or blaring, or an awakening blast. This was the sound of a “trumpet,” but not the metal, musical kind also used by the Israelites.

So this Feast is properly called Yom Teruah or Day of Shouting.

So notice that at Shavuot there were trumpets blasting and at the Feast of Trumpets also.

On the Feast of Trumpets the nations of the world gather to war with the Messiah.

Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of Jehovah comes, and your spoil shall be divided in your midst. For I will gather all nations to battle against Jerusalem; and the city shall be taken, and the houses plundered, and the women raped. And half of the city shall go into exile, and the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. And Jehovah shall go out and fight against those nations, like the day He fought in the day of battle. And His feet shall stand in that day on the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall divide from its middle, from the east and to the west, a very great valley. And half of the mountain shall move toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the sovereigns of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to fight Him who sat on the horse and His army.

Paul also shows us that the entire earth waits this very day. And you will notice that he uses the term first fruits; Another reference to Shavuot.

Rom 8:19 For the intense longing of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of Elohim. Footnote: 1Lit. anxiously looking with outstretched head. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not from choice, but because of Him who subjected it, in anticipation, 21 that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage to corruption into the esteemed freedom of the children of Elohim. 22 For we know that all the creation groans together, and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. 23 And not only so, but even we ourselves who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, we ourselves also groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

The Jubilee (Hebrew Yov-el ) year is the year at the end of seven cycles of Sabbatical years (Hebrew Shmita), and according to Biblical regulations had a special impact on the ownership and management of land in the territory of the kingdoms of Israel and of Judah. The English term Jubilee derives from the Hebrew term yobel (via Latin Jubilaeus), which in turn derives from yobhel, meaning ram; the Jubilee year was announced by a blast on an instrument made from a ram’s horn called a shofar, during that Jubilee year’s Yom Kippur.

The shofar was used to announce holidays (Psa 81:3 Blow the ram’s horn at the time of the New Moon, At the full moon, on our festival day. ), the Jubilee year (Lev. 25. 9), and to tear down walls in Jericho. The first day of the seventh month (Tishri) is termed “a memorial of blowing” (Lev. 23. 24), or “a day of blowing” (Num 29:1 ‘And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work, it is a day of blowing the trumpets for you.), the shofar. They were for signifying the start of a war (Josh. 6. 4; Judges 3. 27; 7. 16, 20; I Sam. 8. 3).

As you study this day of Yom Teruah keep in mind how it relates to the other Holy Days and the Jubilee years.

Many of us have come out of Christian faiths and realized the many lies we were taught there. We then jump into the other ditch of Judaism as we seek our Hebraic roots. Then after a while we again see the things that Judah does that can`t be supported by scriptures.

Then some of you want to throw out everything Jewish. Please do not throw out the baby with the bath water. There are some awesome teachings to be found in Judaism who have been keeping Torah for some 3388 years since the Exodus while we, the northern Ten lost tribes have been keeping every pagan tradition we could find and not Torah.

Now that we are returning and rediscovering our true roots, we must sift through it all and keep that which is good.

One such teaching is The Ten Days of Awe. These are the days between Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur.

Days of Awe

Level: Basic

Significance: A time of introspection
Length: 10 Days (including Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur)
Customs: Seeking reconciliation with people you have wronged; Kapparot
The ten days starting with Rosh Hashanah and ending with Yom Kippur are commonly known as the Days of Awe (Yamim Noraim) or the Days of Repentance. This is a time for serious introspection, a time to consider the sins of the previous year and repent before Yom Kippur.

One of the ongoing themes of the Days of Awe is the concept that G-d has “books” that he writes our names in, writing down who will live and who will die, who will have a good life and who will have a bad life, for the next year. These books are written in on Rosh Hashanah, but our actions during the Days of Awe can alter G-d’s decree. The actions that change the decree are “teshuvah, tefilah and tzedakah,” repentance, prayer, good deeds (usually, charity). These “books” are sealed on Yom Kippur. This concept of writing in books is the source of the common greeting during this time is “May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year.”

Among the customs of this time, it is common to seek reconciliation with people you may have wronged during the course of the year. The Talmud maintains that Yom Kippur atones only for sins between man and G-d. To atone for sins against another person, you must first seek reconciliation with that person, righting the wrongs you committed against them if possible.
Another custom observed during this time is kapparot. This is rarely practiced today, and is observed in its true form only by Chasidic and occasionally Orthodox Jews. Basically, you purchase a live fowl, and on the morning before Yom Kippur you wave it over your head reciting a prayer asking that the fowl be considered atonement for sins. The fowl is then slaughtered and given to the poor (or its value is given). Some Jews today simply use a bag of money instead of a fowl. Most Reform and Conservative Jews have never even heard of this practice.

Work is permitted as usual during the intermediate Days of Awe, from Tishri 3 to Tishri 9, except of course for Shabbat during that week.

Two lesser special occasions occur during the course of the Days of Awe.

The Shabbat that occurs in this period is known as Shabbat Shuvah (the Sabbath of Return). This is considered a rather important Shabbat.

I want you to take special notice of what this article says; that these 10 days are the Days of Repentance and that This is a time for serious introspection.

Why?

The answer is found in of all places Lev 26 where we read about the curses for not keeping the Sabbatical years. Amazing. This was a shocker to me when I first saw it.

Lev 26:33 ‘And I shall scatter you among the gentiles and draw out a sword after you. And your land shall be desert and your cities ruins, 34 and the land enjoy its Sabbaths as long as it lies waste and you are in your enemies’ land. Then the land would rest and enjoy its Sabbaths. 35 ‘As long as it lies waste it rests, for the time it did not rest on your Sabbaths when you dwelt in it. 36 ‘And as for those of you who are left, I shall send faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies, and the sound of a shaken leaf shall cause them to flee. And they shall flee as though retreating from a sword, and they shall fall when no one pursues. 37 ‘And they shall stumble over one another, as from before a sword, when no one pursues. And you shall be unable to stand before your enemies. 38 ‘And you shall perish among the gentiles, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up, 39 and those of you who are left rot away in their crookedness in your enemies’ lands, and also in their fathers’ crookednesses rot away with them.

The first curse of Terrorism, the second curse of Drought and severe weather, the third curse of pestilence and famine and earthquakes, the fourth curse of war, and the fifth curse of captivity are all declared to you in verses 14-39.

But now we are about to read something. Yehovah says that if we repent and are humbled and we accept our punishment, then and only then will He remember us and not destroy us. Read this very carefully.

Lev 26:40 ‘But if they confess their crookedness and the crookedness of their fathers, with their trespass in which they trespassed against Me, and that they also have walked contrary to Me, 41 and that I also have walked contrary to them and have brought them into the land of their enemies – if their uncircumcised heart is then humbled, and they accept the punishment of their crookedness, 42 then I shall remember My covenant with Yaaqob, and also My covenant with Yitshaq, and also remember My covenant with Abraham, and remember the land. 43 ‘For the land was abandoned by them, and enjoying its Sabbaths while lying waste without them, and they were paying for their crookedness, because they rejected My right-rulings and because their being loathed My laws. 44 ‘And yet for all this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I shall not reject them, nor shall I loathe them so as to destroy them and break My covenant with them. For I am Yehovah their Elohim. 45 ‘Then I shall remember for their sake the covenant of the ancestors whom I brought out of the land of Mitsrayim before the eyes of the nations to be their Elohim. I am Yehovah.’ ”

We read the very same thing when Solomon asked the dedication prayer when the Temple was first finished.

1Ki 8:29 “For Your eyes to be open toward this House night and day, toward the place of which You said, ‘My Name is there,’ to listen to the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place. 30 “Then, shall You hear the supplication of Your servant and of Your people Yisra’?l when they pray toward this place, when You hear in Your dwelling place, in the heavens? And shall You hear, and forgive? 31 “If anyone sins against his neighbour, and he has lifted up an oath on him, to cause him to swear, and comes and swears before Your altar in this House, 32 then hear in the heavens, and act and rightly rule Your servants, declaring the wrongdoer wrong, bringing his way on his head, and declaring the righteous right by giving him according to his righteousness. 33 “When Your people Yisra’?l are smitten before an enemy, because they have sinned against You, and they shall turn back to You and confess Your Name, and pray and make supplication to You in this House, 34 then hear in the heavens, and forgive the sin of Your people Yisra’?l, and bring them back to the land which You gave to their fathers. 35 “When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they sin against You, when they pray toward this place and confess Your Name, and turn from their sin because You afflict them, 36 then hear in the heavens, and forgive the sin of Your servants, Your people Yisra’?l – for You teach them the good way in which they should walk – and shall give rain on Your land which You have given to Your people as an inheritance. 37 “When there is scarcity of food in the land; when there is pestilence, blight, mildew, locusts, grasshoppers; when their enemy distresses them in the land of their cities; any plague, any sickness, 38 whatever prayer, whatever supplication made by anyone of all Your people Yisra’?l, each knowing the plague of his own heart, and shall spread out his hands toward this House, 39 then hear in the heavens, Your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and render unto everyone according to all his ways, whose heart You know. Because You – You alone – know the hearts of all the sons of men, 40 so that they fear You all the days that they live in the land which You gave to our fathers. 41 “Also, concerning a foreigner, who is not of Your people Yisra’?l, but has come from a far land for Your Name’s sake – 42 since they hear of Your great Name and Your strong hand and Your outstretched arm – and he shall come and pray toward this House, 43 hear in the heavens Your dwelling place, and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to You, so that all peoples of the earth know Your Name and fear You, as do Your people Yisra’?l, and know that this House which I have built is called by Your Name. 44 “When Your people go out to battle against their enemy, in the way that You send them, and they shall pray to Yehovah toward the city which You have chosen and toward the House which I have built for Your Name, 45 then shall You hear in the heavens their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause? 46 “When they sin against You – for there is no one who does not sin – and You become enraged with them and give them to the enemy, and they take them captive to the land of the enemy, far or near; 47 and they shall turn back unto their heart in the land where they have been taken captive, and shall turn, and make supplication to You in the land of those who took them captive, saying, ‘We have sinned and acted crookedly, we have committed wrong,’ 48 and they shall turn back to You with all their heart and with all their being in the land of their enemies who led them away captive, and shall pray to You toward their land which You gave to their fathers, the city which You have chosen and the House which I have built for Your Name, 49 then shall You hear in the heavens Your dwelling place their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause, 50 and forgive Your people who have sinned against You, and all their transgressions which they have transgressed against You? And give them compassion before those who took them captive, and they shall have compassion on them. 51 ‘For they are Your people and Your inheritance, whom You brought out of Mitsrayim, out of the iron furnace. 52 “Let Your eyes be open to the supplication of Your servant and the supplication of Your people Yisra’?l, to listen to them whenever they call to You. 53 “For You have separated them unto Yourself for an inheritance, out of all the peoples of the earth, as You spoke by the hand of Your servant Mosheh, when You brought our fathers out of Mitsrayim, O Master Yehovah.”

When we find ourselves surrounded by the plagues that beset us then we are to stop and turn to Jerusalem and pray for forgiveness with earnest hearts.

This is exactly what Daniel did, and the resulting revelations were amazing.

Dan 9:1 In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, who was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans, in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood the number of the years by books, which came of the Word of Jehovah to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. And I set my face toward the Lord God, to seek by prayer and holy desires, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes. And I prayed to Jehovah my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and awesome God, keeping the covenant and mercy to those who love Him, and to those who keep His commandments, we have sinned and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from Your commandments and from Your judgments.  Neither have we listened to Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings, our rulers, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us the shame of our faces, as it is today to the men of Judah and to the people of Jerusalem, and to all Israel who are near and who are afar off, through all the countries where You have driven them because of their sin which they have sinned against You. O Lord, shame of face belongs to us, to our kings, to our rulers, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against You. To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against Him. We have not obeyed the voice of Jehovah our God, to walk in His Laws which He set before us by His servants the prophets. Yea, all Israel has transgressed Your Law, and turned aside, that they might not obey Your voice. Therefore the curse has been poured out on us, and the oath that is written in the Law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against Him. And He has confirmed His Words which He spoke against us and against our judges who judged us, by bringing on us a great evil. For under all the heavens it has not been done as it has been done to Jerusalem. As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this evil has come on us. Yet we did not make our prayer before Jehovah our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand Your truth. Therefore Jehovah has watched over the evil, and has brought it on us. For Jehovah our God is righteous in all His works which He does; for we did not obey His voice. And now, O Lord our God, who have brought Your people out from the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have brought fame to Yourself, as it is today, we have sinned, we have done wrong. O Lord, I pray You, according to all Your righteousness let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain. Because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become a curse to all those who are around us.  And now, O our God, hear the prayer of Your servant, and his holy desires, and cause Your face to shine on Your sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord’s sake. O my God, bow down Your ear and hear. Open Your eyes and behold our ruins, and the city which is called by Your name. For we do not present our prayers before You on account of our righteousnesses, but because of Your great mercies.  O Jehovah, hear; O Jehovah, forgive; O Jehovah, listen and do. Do not delay, for Your own sake, O my God; for Your city and Your people are called by Your name.

Gabriel Brings an Answer

Dan 9:20  And while I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin, and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my cry before Jehovah my God for the holy mountain of my God; yes, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, touched me in my severe exhaustion, about the time of the evening sacrifice.

Brethren it was when I was caught in sin and I saw it and only when I repented of it and confessed it and cried out to Yehovah for help and forgiveness; then and only then were things revealed to me. First was the revelation of the sighted moon as the calendar we are to follow. Second were the Sabbatical years, and third was the Prophecies of Abraham.

Had I not repented I would never have been shown any of this. Had Daniel not repented and asked for forgiveness for all of Israel, Yehovah would not have sent the angel to tell him some of the greatest prophecies of the bible.

During these Ten Days of Awe; from the time of the judgement begins on the world on the Feast of Yom Teruah, we should seek to humble ourselves and repent of all the evil that we do against Torah and Yehovah. You want to seek forgiveness before the books are sealed on the Day of Atonement for this year.

Knowing these things now, step up to the next higher level of understanding.

The Ten Days of Awe are not days but years. These are ten years of judgement. Israel has already been judged and was destroyed in the Sabbatical cycle of war from 2017-2023. Israel all 12 tribes go into captivity together as Hoshea 5:5 tell us.

Hos 5:5 “And the Excellency of Yisra’el shall witness to his face, and Yisra’el and Ephrayim stumble in their crookedness. Yehudah shall also stumble with them.

Now while both houses are in captivity and are suffering the horrors of decapitation, sexual enslavement for women and children and young boys, cannibalism beatings and starvation, freezing cold and blistering heat with no place to call home that is safe; it is while in this state enduring the punishments for her sins that Yehovah stands up and begins to judge the world who did this to His bride.

These ten years of judgement are on the rest of the world. The first seven come while Israel is in captivity during the Sabbatical cycle of captivity from 2024-2030.

During those Ten Days of Awe there is always a Shabbat that comes at some point. It is called Shabbat Shuva and it falls on the Sabbath that comes between the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement.

When you go to the charts in The Charts Archive you will see on the opening page the current Jubilee cycle.

It is during the years of captivity that the two witnesses come on the world scene and demand the Beast to release all the Israelite captives. Much like Moses and Aaron did in Egypt. After three years of drought around the world and ¼ of the earth’s population dying; only then are all the Israelites released and brought back to the Land of Israel. And they all arrive by Passover 2030.

2030 just so happens to be the Sabbatical year at the end of the 5th Sabbatical cycle.

Here is when the martyrdom of the saints begins. Satan has allowed all the Israelites to be brought back to Israel for one reason and one reason only. To get them in one spot to completely kill them all off.

This is when the two witnesses are killed at Passover and this then is the beginning of the last 3 ½ years of the Great Tribulation. Up until this point we have only been following the Sabbatical cycle and their curses.

Now the last 3 ½ years begin just as it did in Noah’s Day and also in Sodom’s day. They both concluded in the middle of this 6th Sabbatical cycle which also matches when the Day of Atonement comes at the end of these ten years. That year is 2033.

And it is on The Day of Atonement in 2033 that Satan will finally be bound and cast into darkness for the 7th millennium.

Shabbat Shuva is the Shabbat between Rosh Hashana, The Feast of Trumpets and Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. It is called thus after the Haftara from Hoshea 14 which reads:
“Shuva Yisrael – Return, O Israel, unto Hashem your G-d.”

During these days we are obligated to do tshuva, to repent. In fact, some people call this Shabbat Tshuva since it is the Shabbat of the Ten Days of repentance. It is customary in all congregations for the Rabbi to give a sermon calling upon the people to repent before Yom Kippur. He also reviews the laws of Yom Kippur.

And this is what each of us needs to do at this time of year as we approach the Day of Atonement.

Haftorah Shuva
Hoshea 14:2-10; Yoel 2:11-27; Micha 7:18-20

This Shabbos is known as Shabbos Shuva – the Shabbos of Return because the Haftorah begins with the words, “Shuva (Return) Yisroel to G-d” Gleaned from both Hoshea and Yoel, the prophets describe G-d’s desire to forgive His children, if only they will repent. The fast of Yom Kippur is mentioned as well as the rewards awaiting us if we proclaim G-d in our midst.
The Shabbat that occurs in this period is known as Shabbat Shuvah (the Sabbath of Return). This is considered a rather important Shabbat.

HOS 14:1 O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
We have sinned and been removed from the land for our sins. Yahweh is now calling for us to return to Him. To return to the land of Canaan, to our promised land. He then tells us what to bring;

Verse 2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD:

That is we are to bring the Torah Scrolls with us when we come back to the land.
We are told in Joel when this occurs. At the Feast of Trumpets, Blow the trumpet, and at the Day of Atonement, sanctify a fast. Notice where, in Zion. JOEL 2:15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

Again looking at the chart you can see that after this Shabbat Shuva there are only three days left which represent the last 3 ½ years before Satan is locked away on the Day of Atonement in 2033.

Again for some of you this is all new and others may want to review it in the following articles at:

  • News Letter 5844-012 3578 Understanding the 10 Days Of Awe

The Ten Days of Awe represent the last ten years when Babylon is destroyed and the captives of Israel are freed and then some martyred. It concludes with the binding of Satan represented by the Goat on the day of Atonement that is led out to the wilderness baring all the guilt for all the wrong he has brought into the world; The Tree of Knowledge of good and evil.

The conclusion of all of these things is just 14 years from this fall now. Are you ready? Are you repenting and making yourself white?

Teshuvah – Turning back to Yehovah

As we approach the High Holy Days the theme is Teshuvah. This is why we have been sharing with you the 40 days of repentance. Some of you do not see this in your bible as one of the commandments of Lev 23 and therefore will not do it.

How bizarre?

Teshuvah is often translated as repentance, although it is more properly understood as turning back to Yehovah. (Shuv) This is where we get the expression Shabbat Shuva. The Sabbath of return found during the 10 days of Awe leading up to and climaxing with the Day of Atonement.

The Torah reading for Shabbat Shuva is;

Hos 14:1  O Israel, return to Jehovah your God, for you have fallen by your iniquity. 2  Take with you words, and turn to Jehovah. Say to Him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously, that we may repay withthe calves of our lips. 3  Assyria shall not save us; we will not ride on horses. Nor shall we say any more to the work of our hands, Our gods, for in You the fatherless finds mercy. 4  I will heal their backslidings; I will love them freely; for My anger has turned away from him. 5  I will be as the dew to Israel; he shall grow as the lily and cast out his roots like Lebanon. 6  His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. 7  They who dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive like the grain, and grow like the vine. Their scent shall be as the wine of Lebanon. 8  Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him and watched him; I am like a green fir tree. Your fruit is found from Me. 9  Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? Understanding, and he shall know them? For the ways of Jehovah are right, and the just shall walk in them; but sinners shall fall in them.

Mic 7:18  Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not keep His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. 19  He will turn again; He will have pity on us. He will trample our iniquities. Yea, You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. 20  You will give faithfulness to Jacob, mercy to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

Last week we wrote to you about forgiveness, and how you had to forgive those who had offended you. Many of you still hold on to the hurt of your parents and spouses and you will not forgive.

Recently the news has been about the disclosing of the many secret names on the Ashley Madison list that was hacked and publicly displayed. The article above says there are over 400 Church leaders on this list. That means there are at least 400 church leaders who wanted to have an affair and keep it secret so as not to be found out.

Is your name on this list? More importantly is your name on Yehovah’s list of those who want to commit sexual sins? Forget Ashley Madison. Where are you in relationship to Yehovah?

“One evangelical leader was skeptical of survey findings that said 50% of Christian men have looked at porn recently.  So he surveyed his own congregation. He found that 60% had done so within the past year, and 25% within the past 30 days.” (Porn’s Stranglehold, by Timothy C. Morgan)

I often share that between pornography and sports we’ve lost a good portion of our dads and men. Throw in work and hobbies and our fatherless and man gap grows even more. Unfortunately, we are now an online culture that thrives on pornography and we’ve hit a critical mass point. To do nothing is not an option.

How many of you righteous people are going to forgive those caught in this act of adultery?

Our society promotes sexual liaisons everywhere we turn. But should anyone get caught doing so, we kick into hyper righteous mode and execute them to hell on the fastest train possible.

How many of you watched any of the James Bond films? Does not our hero in these films have many a sexual affair with some of the most beautiful women, both good guys (women) and bad ones? Yes, he does and many of us were envious if we are honest.

Are not most of the films out of Hollywood based on affairs outside of marriage and we support this by watching them?

Do you recall the story of David and Bathsheba? Today people call it a love story. Is it? It is an act of lust and adultery by the nations leader and one of our heroes of the bible. Yehovah was going to execute David for this sin. Do you realize that?

Yehovah was going to execute the man who was after Yehovah’s own heart.

2Sa 12:1  And Jehovah sent Nathan to David. And he came to him and said to him, There were two men in one city, one rich and one poor. 2  The rich one had exceeding many flocks and herds, 3  but the poor one had nothing except one little ewe lamb which he had bought and nourished up. And it grew up together with him and with his sons. It ate of his own food and drank from his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was to him like a daughter. 4  And there came a traveler to the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd to dress for the traveler that had come to him. But he took the poor man’s lamb and dressed it for the man who had come to him. 5  And David’s anger was greatly kindled against the man. And he said to Nathan, As the Lord lives, the man who has done this shall surely die. 6  And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity. 7  And Nathan said to David, You are the man! So says Jehovah, the God of Israel, I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul. 8  And I gave you your master’s house and your master’s wives into your bosom, and gave you the house of Israel and of Judah. And if that was too little, I would have given to you such and such things besides. 9  Why have you despised the Word of Jehovah, to do evil in His sight? You have stricken Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and have taken his wife to be your wife, and have killed him with the sword of the sons of Ammon. 10  And therefore, the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised Me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife. 11  So says Jehovah, Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house, and I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor. And he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun. 12  For you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel and before the sun. 13  And David said to Nathan, I have sinned against Jehovah.

And Nathan said to David, Jehovah also has put away your sin; you shall not die.

14  Only, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of Jehovah to blaspheme, this child born to you shall surely die.

Yehovah said He would have given David even more wives and more of anything he wanted. David’s sin was lust. He coveted and that led him into these other sins of murder and adultery.

Do you realize that coveting is the greatest cause of most sins and yet it is considered the least of the commandments?

They covet other gods so as not to have to obey Yehovah.
They covet other days of rest for their own convenience.
They covet what others have so they murder.
They covet sex so they commit sexual sins and adultery.
They covet people’s possessions so they steal.
They want people to not think bad of them so they lie. They covet the appearance of godliness.

David lusted and did not contain it.

How many of you lust after careers, status, sex, food, cigarettes, drugs, attention and you can fill in the blank if I omitted your lust factor? We all cross the line at times and replace Yehovah with something physical and we all want and need to be forgiven. We hope we will never be exposed for our secret sins.

And yet we do keep them secret because of our vanity. Our desire to appear before others as righteous and good when in fact we are not.

Jas 5:16  Confess faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous one avails much. 17  Elijah was a man of like passion as we are. And he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for the time of three years and six months. 18  And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth caused its fruit to sprout. 19  Brothers, if anyone among you err from the truth, and if anyone turns him back, 20  know that he who turns back the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Two things to note from this passage of James. One: Elijah had like passions.
Two: when you confess to trusted friends your weaknesses they can help you, much like the 12 step of Alcoholics Anonymous. When you’re weak they can talk to you and help you come back from the ledge.

This week’s News letter is a result of a conversation I had with a sister about this subject of sex. It is time to turn back to Yehovah. But many men & women are stuck on repeatedly going to the porn sites or to bars looking to meet that someone for a one night stand. As you just read, between 50% and 60% of Christian men are trapped in this addiction. Those numbers will be the same for those who call themselves Messianic Torah observers. Sadly.

And many of the rest of you want to stand on the sidelines of righteousness and point the finger and wag the head. But in fact, what you are doing is expressing how you are better then they are because you have not done that sin. It is self righteousness.

Do you not recall what we said last week about fasting? Did you not get the point of the article? Are you really that thick? Let me now explain it again to you.

Isa 58:6  Is not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed ones go free, and that you break every yoke? 7  Is it not to break your bread to the hungry, and that you should bring home the wandering poor?

When will you see the naked and cover him; and you will not hide yourself from your own flesh?

8  Then shall your light break out as the dawn, and your health shall spring out quickly; and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of Jehovah shall gather you. 9  Then you shall call, and Jehovah shall answer; you shall cry, and He shall say, Here I am.

If you take the yoke away from among you, the pointing of the finger, and speaking vanity; 10  and if you draw out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul;

then shall your light rise in darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday.

Yehovah is telling you to get in there and get dirty as you help those who are afflicted by their sins. He is telling you to stop pointing the finger at them, condemning them, and to show them their sins and help them to return to Him. To Shuva to Yehovah. To have empathy and say ‘there but for the grace of Yehovah go I’.

The Day of Atonement is to kaphar, to cover over the sins of the people who have shuva’ed back to Yehovah. So why do you not cover over the sins of those around you when they repent?

Not to hide the sin, no, we are to expose it. But once exposed as David’s sin was, then to forgive as Yehovah did and move on. The consequences will come for the sin. You will have to deal with it.

Each one of us used to worship idols and never kept the Feasts. Now we do keep Torah and now some of you accuse and condemn those who still keep the false feasts you used to. You are no different than them. You just got off that merry-go-round before they have, so show some empathy.

Where is your atonement for a brother who has sinned? Yehovah will cover his sins once he has repented. So why do you want to send him to hell? You are the one that needs to repent of the gossip that you have been spreading.

Have you forgotten the example Yehshua had for the woman caught in adultery?

Joh 8:3  And the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman taken in adultery. And standing her in the midst, 4  they said to Him, Teacher, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5  Now Moses in the Law commanded us that such should be stoned. You, then, what do you say? 6  They said this, tempting Him so that they might have reason to accuse Him. But bending down, Jesus wrote on the ground with His finger, not appearing to hear7  But as they continued to ask Him, He lifted Himself up and said to them, He who is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her. 8  And again bending down, He wrote on the ground. 9  And hearing, and being convicted by conscience, they went out one by one, beginning at the oldest, until the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10  And bending back up, and seeing no one but the woman, Jesus said to her, Woman, where are the ones who accused you? Did not one give judgment against you?11  And she said, No one, Lord. And Jesus said to her, Neither do I give judgment. Go, and sin no more.

King Solomon at the Feast of Dedication on the Eighth day of Sukkot said the following prayer. Read it slowly and remember even Solomon fell victim to the sin of sex and because of it he was lured into building temples to other gods on the Mount of offense.

1Ki 8:33  When Your people Israel are crushed before the enemy because they have sinned against You, and shall turn again to You and confess Your name, and pray, and cry to You in this house, 34  then hear in Heaven and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them again into the land which You gave to their fathers. 35  When the heavens are restrained, and there is no rain because they have sinned against You, if they pray toward this place and confess Your name, and turn from their sin when You afflict them, 36  then hear in Heaven and forgive the sin of Your servants, and of Your people Israel, for You shall teach them the good way in which they should walk, and give rain on Your land which You have given to Your people for an inheritance. 37  If there is famine in the land, if there is plague, blasting, mildew, locusts; if there are stripping locusts; if their enemy encircles them in the land of their cities, whatever plague, whatever sickness, 38  any prayer, any supplication from any man of all Your people Israel, who shall each know the plague of his own heart, and shall spread forth his hands toward this house, 39  then hear in Heaven Your dwelling-place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to all his ways, whose heart You know. For You, You only, know the hearts of all the sons of Adam. 40  Do this so that they may fear You all the days that they live in the land which You have given to our fathers. 41  And concerning a stranger who is not of Your people Israel, but who comes out of a far country for Your name’s sake; 42  for they shall hear of Your great name and of Your strong hand and of Your stretched-out arm; and if he shall come and pray toward this house, 43  hear in Heaven Your dwelling-place, and do according to all that the stranger calls to You for, so that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name, to fear You, as Your people Israel do , and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by Your name. 44  If Your people go out to battle against their enemy, wherever You shall send them, and shall pray to Jehovah toward the city which You have chosen, and the house that I have built for Your name, 45  then hear in Heaven their prayer and their cry, and maintain their cause. 46  If they sin against You (for there is no man who does not sin), and if You are angry with them, and have delivered them up before the enemy, and they have been led away captive to the land of the enemy, far or near, 47  yet if they shall think within themselves in the land where they are carried captives, and repent, and pray to You in the land of their captors saying, We have sinned and have done perversely, we have done wickedly, 48  and so return to You with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies who led them away captive, and if they pray to You toward their land which You gave to their fathers, to the city which You have chosen, and the house which I have built for Your name, 49  then hear their prayer and their cry in Heaven Your dwelling-place, and maintain their cause, 50  and forgive Your people who have sinned against You, even all their sins which they have done against You, and give them pity before their captors, so that they may have pity on them. 51  For they are Your people, and Your inheritance, which You brought out of Egypt, from the middle of the furnace of iron, 52  for Your eyes shall be open to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your people Israel, to listen to them in all that they call for to You. 53  For You have separated them from among all the people of the earth to be Your inheritance, as You spoke by the hand of Moses Your servant, when You brought our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord Jehovah. 54  And it happened as Solomon finished praying all this prayer and petition to Jehovah, he rose from before the altar of Jehovah, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven. 55  And he stood and blessed all the congregation of Israel with a loud voice, saying, 56  Blessed be Jehovah, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise which He promised by the hand of Moses His servant. 57  May Jehovah our God be with us as He was with our fathers. Let Him not leave us nor forsake us, 58  to incline our hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments which He commanded our fathers. 59  And let these my words, with which I have prayed before Jehovah, be near Jehovah our God day and night, so that He may maintain the cause of His servant, and the cause of His people Israel of each day in its day, 60  for all the people of the earth know that Jehovah isGod; there is no other. 61  And let your heart be perfect with Jehovah our God, to walk in His statutes, and to keep His commandments, as at this day.

Lust is like this old Indian trick to kill a wolf. They would take a sharp knife and cover it in blood and then freeze it and place it in a block of ice. The wolf would smell the scent of the blood and go and find it. He would then begin to lick the blood. The more blood he tasted the more he wanted. So he would lick more fervently. With each lick the blade of the sharp knife would reveal more of itself and thus cause the tongue of the wolf to bleed more and more each time. This then caused the wolf to taste more of the warm blood from his own mouth and lick even more. A perpetual cycle that only leads to the death of the wolf, who eventually bleeds to death.

It is the same with porn and with all other sexual gratification methods out there. Those gratification methods are not just sexual. They can be cigarettes or chocolate cake. Workaholics seek the praise of their bosses and peers for their gratification. These will all lead to your death if you do not curb them.

Sex with others or porn is never satisfactory. Even after using the prostitute or paying for the lap dance with the stripper, you are left with this painful empty feeling. The one you wanted to get filled when you went to the whorehouse is still there. Sex never filled that hole.

Chocolate cake never fills that hole. Drugs or sports or anything else you shove into this hole will never ever fill it. The reason they can never fill that hole is because it can only be filled by Yehovah. He is the only thing that fills that void you are feeling and heals the other problems of your life caused by you trying to fill this hole with the wrong things. Square peg in the round hole syndrome.

Enough with the generalities. Let me get specific about sex and how it works.

All young girls seek the attention of their father and also of young men when they are hoping to find a husband. They will dress up to make themselves look attractive to the potential beau. Sometimes this goes too far and becomes sexier in trying to attract a man. It is, after all a very competitive time as everyone is seeking to land the same guy or so it seems.

Women know men are attracted through their eyes. In fact women in the sex industry also know this very well. We are going to begin to compare these two methods to help you women understand your men.

Men also want to attract a wife so they excel in sports and work to show off their talents. Muscular abs and rugged features are enhanced. All through the childhood of a boy he is told over and over how good he is and how strong he is. They are made to feel like big men even while they still have on their diapers.

But men do not get it. They do not understand that women are not attracted by vision as like men are. Yes, to a degree but not nearly as much. A woman wants to yield herself to someone who romances her and appeals to her emotionally & intellectually, as well as physically.

But grown up men never grow up. They always do need that affirmation from their wife and daughters about how much you appreciate the things they do for you. The same as when they were patted on the head as a child.

Those women in the sex trades also know this. This is why they tell the men how great they are, how muscular they are, or how handsome they are or how viral they are. It can be the biggest lie ever and both of them know it, but the man is in need of hearing this and feeling the attraction from a female because of it. With the prostitute or stripper it is all an act to lure you to give them your money. And many men are willing to do just that in order to be praised up for a few moments by any women.

Ladies, you all need to read that last statement again.

I again challenge each and every women right now to go and tell your spouse how awesome they are. And to say nothing else and leave the room. In less than a minute your spouse will come running after you like some lost puppy dog wanting to hear more of your praising them.

WE AS MEN ARE STARVED FOR THIS FROM OUR WIVES!!!!

Do you get it?

So in a man’s mind, if he is not getting the praise at home then when it does come from somewhere else, no matter where it comes from, he will seek to go back to get more of that praise to soothe his ego, whether this comes from the woman down the street or the one at work or the one in the strip club. It is more powerful than anything else out there.

But if you provide this at home then he will seek it at home. And when it comes from elsewhere, it will not come to a man who is starving for some attention and then your spouse will not be attracted to it because he is not starving for it.

Now the same thing for sex. If a man is starving for sex at home and his wife is withholding it because of this or that reason, then understand his sexual drive is starving to be satisfied. I am not condoning him seeking it elsewhere, but I am advising you it is there. You can control it as his wife and partner or you can let others control it.

Dr James Dobson has written that the men’s sexual urge is ready to go every 3 to 4 days. Yes, every 3 -4 days. And many women are saying “we just did it the other day”. I want to urge all men and all women to read this short article by Dr. Dobson. In fact, I would urge you all to do more research into this subject from Dr. Dobson.

1Co 7:1  Now concerning what you wrote to me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. 2  But, because of the fornications, let each have his own wife, and let each have her own husband. 3  Let the husband give to the wife proper kindness, and likewise the wife also to the husband. 4  The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband. And likewise also the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife. 5  Do not deprive one another, unless it is with consent for a time, so that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer. And come together again so that Satan does not tempt you for your incontinence. 6  But I speak this according to permission, not according to commandment.

Many women today say it is their body. They say this in order to justify the abortion of the child in them. And this has rubbed off on all of us. Yet the Apostle Paul wrote that your body belongs to your spouse, both men to the women and women to the men. Think about this for a long long moment.

That word incontinence in verse 5 means without self control, want of self restraint, and powerless to the temptations of the other sex.

You withholding your sexuality from your spouse is, according to Paul, contributing to their temptations and weakness.

Let me now give you an extreme example.

Women under Sharia law are commanded to wear a burka so as not to tempt men. The Burka removes all the curves that make a women attractive and it also covers the face. What do we hear now about this religion of peace over the entire news? How they wage jihad so they can capture other women and rape them as often as they want.

I am telling you that these Islamic men have pent up sexual desires which they vent on captured women.

Yes, an extreme example. But I say it as a lead up to this. Many women who seek to be modest remove those things that make them beautiful to others including, their husbands. Taking their God given curves and hiding them. Be careful you are not helping Satan by leaving your spouse in a position that they will be tempted by Satan.

I was always very proud to take my wife out when she was all dolled up. To have her hold my arm.

I have had many women write me asking for help with their husband. One lady said she had all the right curves in all the right places and could not understand why her husband still looked at porn.

The husband then told me he had a high sex drive, (3-4 days, remember) and she was only willing once or twice a month. Am I describing any of you?

Another lady wrote me. She was very shapely and was sexually abused all her life because of it. She is now walking this walk and every group she attends wants her to stop coming because the men can’t stop looking at her. The problem is not her beauty, it is that the men looking are starved in their own homes.

If you want to stop the porn industry, if you want to stop the sex industry, then start to make your spouse feel important at home. Give them every reason to look forward to coming home to you. It does not matter if your curves have disappeared and turned up in other places.

In the late summer of 1981, I was coming home from working out of town for a number of weeks. In fact, it was near the end of July. I have never forgotten this one event.

I was tired and looking forward to time with my wife. As I pulled in the driveway, the sun was setting and she was standing in the door with a fur coat on. The sun made the whole front of our house and her shine in this red glow. I started to get very angry as I was opening the door of the truck. Where did she get the money for this fur coat. We could not afford it. What is she thinking.

Sometimes I am such an idiot.

As I opened the door and just as I was about to say something really, really stupid, my wife opened up the fur coat to reveal to me all her beauty and all her curves in her birthday suit. I immediately shut up and no longer cared about this fur coat. It might have cost a million dollars and it did not matter. My sexual starvation from working away for those weeks was now about to be taken care of. My wife got it and new what I needed. We had another baby as a result of that. Go figure!

And to this day I have never forgotten it. Not one detail. I am telling you all this for a reason. To show you how powerful this sex thing is, if you use it as Yehovah has given it to you. Not to abuse it and not to withhold it from our spouses.

Years ago we had a lady as a neighbor who would always be dressed up and looking her best. She dressed up to go out shopping and to work all the time looking her best. She was middle aged and her curves showed up in other places at this time. I commented on this to my wife one time when my wife was wearing sweat pants to the mall. She told me that her husband was always happy when my wife talked to him. That was the end of the sweat pants.

Brethren, many of you will not agree with me about those things I am saying. You will blame the person doing the sin and not admit your part in it. So be it. Continue to perpetuate the problem and not help solve it. For others it is too late. You are already divorced or separated and still have not forgiven them for what they did to you.

I have some women come up to me after I relate this to them and they said they drove their husband into the arms of another woman. They then say they always bitched at him and never told him how much he meant to them and it would then spiral into an endless fight. These ladies are now living alone.

Again I dare you all to tell your spouse how much they mean to you, or how much you appreciate them fixing the toilet and then walk away. When they come after you, if you play your cards right you could get them to buy you anything you wanted. But you will also see how deprived for attention they are and then realize how close to temptation they are. Read Love and respect by Dr. Emmerson Eggerich. Read the difference between men and women by Dr Dobson. Get educated on this subject and do it right away.

The sexual exploitation is everywhere being advertised for everything. The temptation to find gratification elsewhere, as demonstrated by Ashley Madison, shows you it is real and growing and not even being hidden from the public.

In this short article I have by no means addressed the entire issue of sex between men and women. I do urge you all to read Dr. Dobson and Dr. Eggerich’s books on the differences and love and respect.

Sure you can go ahead and write me. Just do not expect me to take advice from those on their third and fourth marriage telling me how to be happily married, even though I am in my 37th year with my first love. I am not a saint by any measure. I have much to learn, but have already learned a great deal. Study what these two doctors have to say and help your spouse, both men and women.

One final note for those who will not forgive their spouses who have sinned that unforgivable sin. Remember each of us have been forgiven by Yehovah our sins. Will those of you who have been sexually assaulted or those of you who hate your parents for this or that reason. Something done many years ago. Have you forgiven them or do you still hate them? TeShuva Shuva, Return to Yehovah and repent in so doing. Or He will not forgive you your sins.

The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant

Mat 18:21  Then Peter came to Him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Until seven times? Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, Until seven times; but, Until seventy times seven. Therefore the kingdom of Heaven has been compared to a certain king who desired to make an accounting with his servants.  And when he had begun to count, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. But as he had nothing to pay, his lord commanded that he, and his wife and children, and all that he had, be sold, and payment be made. Then the servant fell down and worshiped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me and I will pay you all. Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion and released him and forgave him the debt. But the same servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. And he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me what you owe. And his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, Have patience with me and I will pay you all.  And he would not, but went and cast him into prison until he should pay the debt.  So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were very sorry. And they came and told their lord all that was done.  Then his lord, after he had called him, said to him, O wicked servant, I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. Should you not also have pitied your fellow servant, even as I had pity on you? And his lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors until he should pay all that was due to him. So likewise shall My heavenly Father do also to you, unless each one of you from your hearts forgive his brother their trespasses.
