Seventy Weeks or Shib’iym Shib’iym

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom To the Royal Family,

The New Moon of the 3rd Month 5854 Years After Creation

The Third News Crescent moon of this year 5854 has been seen on this past Wednesday evening. Many people wonder why we look for the moon. I will let Roy Hoffman of the Israeli New Moon Society explain it to you.

The commandment to sanctify the month is the first commandment that the Israelites were commanded when they left Egypt. This mitzva is of great importance since the setting of the times, which include more than sixty Mitzvot, depends on it. In addition to the new Kiddush set according to the time of the new moon, the Hebrew calendar also depends on the number of years determined by the state of the sun, grain maturity and other factors.

I want to stress what Dr. Hoffman is about to state. It is well known. That is all Jews know this as fact. Many Messianics or those who are now keeping the Feasts by the Hebrew Calendar do not know this very well known fact. If they did there would not be so many arguments about the calendar. And yet there are.
Before I return to Dr. Hoffman let me quote to you the article about Hillel.

Hillel II (Hebrew:, Hillel the Nasi), also known simply as Hillel held the office of Nasi of the ancient Jewish Sanhedrin between 320 and 385 CE. He was the son and successor of Judah III. He was a Jewish communal and religious authority, circa 330 – 365 CE. He is sometimes confused with Hillel the Elder, as the Talmud sometimes simply uses the name “Hillel”.
In two instances his name is quoted in connection with important decisions in Jewish law: in one, Jose ben Abin expounds to him a law; in the other, Hillel cites a mishnah to establish a law (Yer. Ber. ii. 5a; Yer. Ter. i. 41a).

He is traditionally regarded as the creator of the modern fixed Jewish calendar. It first appears in a responsum of R. Hai Gaon (early eleventh century) cited by R. Abraham bar Hiyya in his Sefer Ha’ibbur, written in 1123. The topic of that responsum is the 19-year cycle for leap-year intercalations, so the most that can be inferred from that attribution is that Hillel was responsible for the adoption of that cycle for the regulation of the distribution of leap-years.

Actually there is in fact much more that can be inferred from this citation. The citation explicitly refers to the year that this event happened, 670 of the Seleucid era, which corresponds to 358/9 CE. The Molad of Tishrei for that year 4119 would be Sat 23 hours and 233 parts. Under the Gregorian calendar this would be Sat, Sept 20, 0358 17:12. Rosh Hashanah would have begun Friday evening but not before, according to lunar science, a very bright Old Moon will rise Friday morning at 4:11 AM, an hour and 34 minutes before sunrise. The significance of this can be found in the Talmud Rosh Hashanah 25a.

Scholars who have studied the history of the Jewish calendar are in general agreement (and there is much evidence for this in the Talmud itself and in other rabbinic sources) that in practice, the evolution of the calendar into its present form was a gradual process spanning several centuries from the first to about the eighth or ninth century CE. The champion of the view that the calendar was developed in the eighth or ninth century CE is Sacha Stern. This quote is from page 184-5 of his book Calendar and Community: A History of the Jewish Calendar

“Of far greater importance, however, is a much later document from the Cairo Geniza: a letter of a Babylonian exilarch – one of the main leaders of the Rabbanite community – with detailed calendrical instructions for the year 835/6 CE. The letter reveals that Passover (15 Nisan) in that year was due to occur on a Tuesday; whilst according to the present-day rabbinic calendar, it should have occurred on Thursday. According to the exilarch, the setting of Passover on Tuesday was dictated by a concern to avoid visibility of the new moon before the first day of the month. This concern does not exist in the present-day rabbinic calendar. Once discovered and published in 1922, the exilarch’s letter proved beyond doubt that almost five hundred years after R.Yose and ‘Hillel the Patriarch’, then fixed calendar in its present-day form had still not been instituted.”

So it is very well known that Hillel created the current Hebrew Calendar in 358 C.E and it is this calculated calendar that is in use by most Jews and many of those now keeping the Hebrew Calendar. But notice the last line which I have highlighted. The calendar used to be determined by the sighting of the moon to begin the month. Not any more and this is well known according to Dr. Hoffman.
Continuing with Dr. Hoffmans quote;

As is well known, for more than a thousand years the Hebrew calendar has been determined by arithmetic. Today, the Hebrew calendar does not match the calendar determined by sight. Although the gap between the two tablets is increasing over time, we do not have permission to change the calendar until the Sanhedrin is established . Although the sanctity of the month according to evidence is not customary today it is interesting to engage in calculations and practice the evidence of the new moon to be ready when the Sanhedrin will return to drive again. Similar to this we find today dealing with matters of the Temple, a red cow and so on. Of course, we do not intend to change the existing calendar (without the permission of the adjacent Sanhedrin ), but only to increase the preoccupation with Torah and its adoration.

In recent years, several individuals and groups have started observing the moon at the beginning of each month to practice the mitzvah of seeing and determine a criterion for vision. There is room to improve the existing vision criteria by observations and analysis according to physical meteorological and physiological considerations. We, the Israeli Society for the New Moon , hereby invite the general public to cooperate with us and try to see the new moon at the beginning of each month. For this purpose, the Israeli Society for the New Moon was founded by Rabbi Dr. Nachum Rabinovich, Rosh Yeshiva of Birkat Moshe, Ma’aleh Adumim . The association cooperates with the Institute for the Study of Kiddush HaChodesh and includes scientists and rabbis from universities, yeshivas, places and others.

The Israeli Society for the Study of the New Moon deals with the issue from an Orthodox rabbinic Jewish perspective. Anyone interested in using the new moon observations of view of other religious views can browse the sites of Muslims , Karaites , Christians and religions evolved from a mixture of form and Judaism

It has been with this understanding that the Hebrew Calendar is out by one, two or even three days and in some years by as many as 33 days. We at sightedmoon.com have returned to sighting the moon to begin the month and using the barley to begin the year. We began to do this back in 2005 and continue to share the observations of those in Israel from various groups to determine when the month begins.
This is critical to know in order to determine when the Holy Days are in the first and seventh month. We are now in the 3rd month. The following report is from Devorah’s Date Tree.

The new moon was sighted from Israel this evening, May 16, 2018!
* From Jerusalem by Devorah Gordon at 7:40pm followed by Harold Tarter, Cari Tarter, and Gil Ashendorf.
* From Tiberias by Dennis Chkolnik at 7:45pm.
* From Eilat by Lukas Schneider and his two sons Alon and Lior at 7:50pm.
* From Kfar Tapuach by Ephraim Lee, Yonatan Lee, and Gideon Lee
This means that Rosh Chodesh (the first day of the month) is from sunset May 16, 2018 – sunset May 17, 2018. Be sure to keep track of what number month this is based on when you started the new year.

Having said and shared the above, some are wondering why we are keeping Shavuot or Pentecost one week after the rest of the world does. Both Christians and Jews are keeping it at the same time on May 20th, 2018. The Jews use Sivan 6 each year and it can be on any day of the week. But this year it just so happens to be on a Sunday.

When we use the crescent moon to begin the month this changes the Holy Days by 2 days this year from the Hebrew Calendar. As such the Sunday that you are to count the omer from during the days of Unleavened Bread was also changed. Because the Hebrew Calendar had Passover on Friday night and Sabbath and the 16th of Nisan, which is when they start the counting of the Omer, was on this Sunday. Those of us using the crescent moon Passover began that Sunday night and Monday. This meant that the Sunday of the wave sheaf day was a full week later on the last day of Unleavened Bread.

You can see a calendar showing the Crescent moon and the start of Passover on this chart. Stop and consider what we are saying here. Stop and read Lev 23 and know that if you keep the Holy Days at the wrong time you have sinned even if you thought you were doing it right. Stop being sheep and start to be the leader you have been called to be. Know and understand why there is a difference this year of 7 days for Shavuot.

Septennial Torah Readings #60

It has been a while since we had the septennial Torah readings on our site. We used to do them and I would comment each week.
We began last week to share the 3 1/2 year Torah readings. Instead of them being the annual Torah readings that are done in one year, the Septennial reading is done twice over the Sabbatical cycle.
The first weeks reading would have begun on April 1, 2017. This is the start of the first week in this 4th Sabbatical cycle right after the Shemitah year was done. Since this time, this Sabbath is now the 60th week of this Sabbatical Cycle. The readings for this Sabbath today and for this upcoming 61st week are as follows.

Week # Shabbat Date Torah Neviim Ketuvim Brit Chadasha
60 May 19, 2018 Ex. 12 1 Kings 21-22 Ps 119:132-176 John 2-3
61 May 26, 2018 Ex. 14 Isaiah 1-3 Ps 120 John 4:1-42

Today is the seventh day of the sixth week of seven weeks.

Day Forty-Two | Yehovah & His People (Part VI) | Psalm 105:1-11
Today is the seventh day of the sixth week of seven weeks. Today is the forty-second day of the counting of fifty days from the day of the waving of the Omer on the morrow after the Sabbath. Today is Sabbath, the sixth Sabbath of seven Sabbaths. Today completes the sixth week of seven weeks.
Psalm 67:1-7 May Yehovah be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, Selah that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations. Let the peoples praise you, O Yehovah; let all the peoples praise you! Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. Selah Let the peoples praise you, O Yehovah; let all the peoples praise you! The earth has yielded its increase; Yehovah, our God, shall bless us. Yehovah shall bless us; let all the ends of the earth fear him!
Psalm 105:1-11 Oh give thanks to Yehovah; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples! Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works! Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek Yehovah rejoice! Seek Yehovah and his strength; seek his presence continually! Remember the wondrous works that he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered, O offspring of Abraham, his servant, children of Jacob, his chosen ones! He is Yehovah our God; his judgments are in all the earth. He remembers his covenant forever, the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations, the covenant that he made with Abraham, his sworn promise to Isaac, which he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan as your portion for an inheritance.”

In the Mail this Week

Shalom Joseph,
Did you know that there is no comments box for today’s newsletter? But that’s not why I’m writing you.
Since I live in Cambodia, the Sabbath Day begins 11 hours earlier than it does for you. Usually, your weekly newsletter email arrives around sunset and I find myself looking forward to receiving it every Friday afternoon. I want you to know that these newsletters are very important to me and that without them I would have no Sabbath.

Today’s newsletter was enlightening. Many years ago I attended charismatic services and was, for a while, speaking in tongues. At first it seemed to be just babble but after some practice it began to take on a more emotional tone and feeling. I used to imagine that I was actually speaking in some foreign language.

It wasn’t long though, before I realized that the emotional aspects were not necessarily spiritual. In fact, it seemed demonic. I soon stopped doing it but, occasionally found myself blurting out unintelligible words when intoxicated. This further convinced me that it was not of the Holy Spirit. So, thank you for the clarity of today’s teaching.

I also want to say that it has taken me the entire week to process last week’s newsletter on the red carpet and threshold traditions. It brought to light the seriousness of our covenant with. There a is temptation to bury my head in the sand and go back to believing the “gentle Jesus” religion that so many people adhere to. But thankfully, I can no longer believe in lies. In fact, if not for you, I would have nothing to believe in because all I see elsewhere is half-truths and downright lies.

One other thing I want to mention. You have written that you consider Nehemiah Gordon to be a friend so, I’m a bit confused. I realize that friends don’t have to share the same beliefs but I was  shocked to discover that he does not support your teaching on the Sabbatical years. I recently heard Michael Rood interview Nehemiah and they both flatly dismissed any possibility of knowing when the Sabbatical years occurred or ever will occur. To be honest, it sounded arrogant and it angered me.

Anyway, I am now rereading your book Remembering the Sabbatical Year of 2016. I did my best that year to obey the commandments regarding widows and releasing debts, etc. But, I need to reassure myself that your teaching on the subject is accurate. And perhaps, once I’m finished, I will be better equipped to speak intelligently about the matter.
May Yahowah continue to bless you and all the people doing this work.

Thank you
Ross
Cambodia

Let me respond to this by first thanking Ross and he is not the first or only one who uses our teachings for HIs Sabbath days lessons. This is very intimidating to me to know but also inspires me to keep sharing and studying. So thank you for your kind words.

As to Nehemiah. Yes, we do not agree on all points and yet we remain friends. He even called me a righteous one. A Tzedek. But others also heard that interview with Michael Rood and wrote to Nehemia telling him about our work. This has resulted in Nehemia posting a link to our teaching on the 45 Proofs as to when the Sabbatical years are and to another meeting specifically for me to explain to him about the Sabbatical and Jubilee years this coming sukkot. So some good is coming out of this.

The next email comes to us from Digos City in Mindanao, Philippines.

Shalom brethen!!! Im Novie Jane Quisil Yu, wife of pastor mark here in Digos City…please allow me to share to you our story.
We have been serving for almost 7 years now in one of the small dying southern Baptist here in our city. This is our first assignment. Because we are new in the field of pastoral, we have done everything we can to just lift up d dying church…day and nyt we go to a bible study session, equipping new converts and teaching the old ones..but we just don’t understand wats wrong, that there was still something lacking in the congregation and our joy is not complete, after 2 years we decided to be on full time minister…having two daughters, we sacrifice our job and allow the Lord to work in as…we are confident that He will not live us. After a year, the scenario is still the same… So we decided to stop all the ministry except our regular Sunday service and midweek prayer meeting. One full year we were silent, we seek to Lord and His will for us and for the church…i can’t forget our prayer, Lord pls help us, we want to serve you but we are tired, forgive us for years of manipulation….now we allow You to move freely and just use us.

Indeed God is good that He fave us His ways….Discipleship, studying carefully His word and we gave experience great movement of the Spirit..but something went wrong!!! Ee have seen not the enemy us trying to destroy each family…so we seek God again this time with the whole church….then He sent as a man of God, Paastor. Lee who happened to know ptr. Aike!!!! He thought us the word and it’s hebraic mindset .Huh!!! We are all shocked like!!! It cant imagine our feeling that time we were like toast in the wind…then brod Joseph came in the scene!!!! Hallelujah this is it…the perfect will of YHVH!!! We are so bless, blessed like never before.. we never had a unity in the church like this…Shalom is here!!!! Praise be to YHVH forever .i don’t know how to post this in your page so I’m writing it in private…
Yu Novie Quisil

Pastor Aike has written asking for help with the upcoming return trip to Davao City for next weeks Shavuot meetings.

Shalom Brother Prophet Joseph,

It’s almost shabbat now in Philippines.
I have a special request brother prophet Joseph Dumond.
I’m traveling back to Davao city on may 21 (see above ticket and posters)
Can You ask Subscriber at sightemoon.com to help me with the cost of travel and board and lodge and food for the festivals of Shavuot on May 27.
Most of the people who will be invited are the ones who attended your Prophecy seminar last April 5 & 7. Plus a lot will be invited. The minimum I see coming to these feast of Shavout, I estimated to be around 100 to 200. But it could exceed our expectation because Pastor Lee will be promoting this feast alongside the big YOSAFAT healing crusade on May 25 and 26 which will be attended by thousands of residences from Davao. The timing is not of coincidence. In fact the celebration of the Feast of Shavuot on May 27 is the place where Yosafat will be lodging. I bet Yosafat will be there celebrating and joining with us. Pastor and Lee and wife is the main organizer of the Yosafat event in Davao city.

Pastor Lee’s wife is an Indonesian, the daughter of the former ambassador of Indonesia to the Philippines. Some pastors from Indonesia have expressed interest in bringing us to Indonesia sometime November this year. I was sharing the torah to some of them when i was still in Davao 3 weeks ago.

btw ( by the way) Matthew samario is coming with me , he will arriving in Manila on May 17,he said he wants to help do torah missions. perfect. we will be very busy then.
Doing torah missions cost money at the onset. Because the people are new and are not obligated to donate to our ministry. So at the moment I need financial help for this. I will be staying in Davao for 18 days…. I do meetings every Wednesday night at 6Pm to 10PM and Shabbat meetings. Im obligated to pay for the cost of the venue and food which cost around $100 per meeting. plus we will be visiting new churches to conduct Hebraic seminars – opening the Christian mind to the torah.   The cost for Shavuot would be P100 pesos ( $2) for every person. Not to mention that I still have to help Pastor Mark celebrated the Feast of Pentecost in Digos city with his church there and invite as many as we can.

I know you understand. This will a real accomplishment of what you and I have started in Mindanao, spreading the Torah to the Islands as prophesied and taught by you. and This is just the beginning. But obviously we can see the fruit of labor which is not in vain. YHVH sees it and approved of it.. Thank you and Shabbat shalom !

Brethren just so you know, sightedmoon has now covered the expenses on this trip but we could sure use some more helpers. Matt has flown in from the USA to help teach and guide the new brethren to learn the Torah and the Holy Days as well as the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. I have great confidence in him. We also launched two separate ad campaigns this week. One for Manila and the other for Davao.
To show you the kind of response we got from our last campaign for many of the major cities of the Philippines there were over 190,000 responses and out of these, we were able to get close to 3000 who are now following us and learning from our articles on Facebook.
We are hoping for the same type of result from the two Shavuot ads. In just five days we have over 50,000 responses and almost 1000 that are now receiving our teachings.
Again brethren this does cost money and this is what we are doing with the donations that are sent in. All of you who have supported us are in effect taking part in these crusades through your donations. And we thank you, but we need more to step up and help.
Telesphore is leaving soon to head to Kenya to once again instruct and teach those in that country about the Sabbath, Holy Days and Sabbatical years. He has asked for help with the airfare and we are going to cover that for him.

Romans 10:14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

As you read in Aike’s note above, preparations are being worked on for Indonesia. Yes, there were two terrorist attacks on 3 churches there this week all done by one family. And yes Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world by population. Read again Romans 10:!4 with that thought in mind.

I feel this work ratcheting up and more and more demands are being made of us. The support for this work has grown and must grow still more. If you have not or are not yet supporting this work. please do consider doing so now. We have added to our PayPal account the ability to donate in almost any currency that you deal with. Please do consider making a monthly donation. This way we can sort of plan on the amount we might be able to work with each month.

Again, I do thank all of you who are supporting us right now. Thank you.
Many of you have written to me and told me how much you’re praying for me and this work. I thank you for this. I do have a special request. I have a few people who are working with me behind the scenes supporting this work with their labour. In each case, they are hurting and in great need. I am asking you to include those who are working with me, in your prayers for protection and guidance and blessings.  Please, I do not want to share their personal information, but I do ask that you include them and their spouses in Yehovah’s protection and guidance. Thank you.

Shibiym Shibiym

Recently an old friend of mine, Mary Merola Wold, wrote the following.

In Isaiah 40:22, reading it in Hebrew, gives a totally astounding perspective!
Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 40:22 It is he that SITS [RETURNS TO MARRY] UPON [TOUCHING] the CIRCLE [SPHERE] of the EARTH [TO BE FIRM] and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a TENT [SUKKAH, TABERNACLE] to DWELL [MARRY] in.
This entire verse is about HIS RETURN TO MARRY THE BRIDE, UNDER THE CHUPPAH/SUKKAH!
And the BRIDE [EARTH] is PREGNANT [EXPANDED] with souls!
The Hebrew word “CHUWG” (circle or sphere) in Isaiah 40:22 comes from a root word, “CHAGAG” which means the following:
To move in a circle, rotate, to dance, to rejoice, to celebrate, to march in a sacred procession, to observe a festival; to reel to and fro.
Chagag is also the root word for Chagga, which means to REVOLVE.
This is even further confirmation and shows us that the word for circle used in Isaiah 40:22 represents movement like a spherical earth in rotation. This is totally the opposite from the Flat-Earth Cult’s interpretation of a fixed, immovable, flat earth.
This is evidence that YaHuWaH created the earth to be a prophetic picture of the Bride of Messiah, as she rotates around the bridegroom who is called “The Sun of Righteousness!” (Malachi 4:2).
Each year, the bride rejoices, and dances, as she circles around the Sun of Righteousness (the Messiah) as she makes her way through all SEVEN FEASTS annually, as well as SEVEN MILLENNIA!
The seven feasts are meant to bring the bride closer to her wedding day, where she will ultimately be taken into the Marriage Supper of the Lamb on the Feast of Tabernacles!

This reminded me of one of my older articles.

Sevening Ourselves to Our Husband Yehovah

Each year when we count the Omer we are to also keep in mind where we are in the Jubilee Cycle. On the day that corresponds with the Year in the Jubilee Cycle we make special note of it. This year the 23rd day matched up with this the 23rd year in this 120th Jubilee Cycle.
We are counting 7 Sabbaths since the Wave Sheaf day during the days of Unleavened Bread to the Feast of Shavuot. Why do we do this? Why do we count 7 Sabbaths? Why didn’t Yehovah tell us to keep Shavuot on the 5th day of the 3rd month?
Why did Joshua have to circle Jericho 7 times? Why didn’t he do this for all the cities?
I found the following question and answer at Chabad.org

Question:
What is the reason for the bride walking around the groom seven times under the Chuppah (wedding canopy)? Is it an indication of a husband’s power over his wife?
Answer:
Quite the opposite. The bride, by circling the groom, expresses her awesome power over him.
The seven circuits are reminiscent of the biblical story of Joshua leading the Israelites into the Promised Land. They came to Jericho, a city known as the key to the land – if they could conquer it, the land would be theirs. But Jericho was protected by a big wall. There seemed to be no way in.
God commanded the Israelites to walk around the walls seven times. As soon as they did, a miracle happened – the walls came tumbling down and they were able to conquer the city.
Similarly, every man has a wall built around his heart. Men are taught to hide their feelings, to create an impression of impenetrability, to make it seem that they have it all figured out. Men create elaborate defenses to hide any sign of weakness or vulnerability, and fiercely guard their deepest secret – that inside they are sensitive and meek, simple and soft.
But a wise woman can pierce this defensive wall. If she surrounds her husband with the protective aura of her love, if she envelops him with affection, and if she makes him feel that he is the anchor, the center, the focal point of her life, then he can feel safe and comfortable. When that happens, the walls protecting his heart come tumbling down. Then she has conquered him – all of him.
Once you find a good man, encircle him with your love, and he’ll be all yours.

Even here they have recorded that the 7 times a woman encircles a man comes from the events of Jericho.
Brethren, when you read your bibles take a step back and look at things with bigger eyes.
Yehovah had redeemed Israel at Passover and paid for them with the firstborn of Egypt.
He then brought them to Mount Sinai and on Shavuot, in 1379 BC Yehovah proposed to Israel.

Exo 19:15  And he said to the people, Be ready for the third day. Do not approach a woman. 16  And it happened on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mountain. And the voice of the trumpet was exceedingly loud, so that all the people in the camp trembled. 17  And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God. And they stood at the lower part of the mountain. 18  And Mount Sinai was smoking, all of it, because Jehovah came down upon it in fire. And the smoke of it went up like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. 19  And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and became very strong, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice. 20  And Jehovah came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And Jehovah called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

Ex 20:18  And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. And when the people saw, they trembled, and stood afar off. 19  And they said to Moses, You speak with us, and we will hear. But let not God speak with us, lest we die. 20  And Moses said to the people, Do not fear, for God has come to test you, and so that His fear may be before your faces, so that you may not sin. 21  And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was. 22  And Jehovah said to Moses, So you shall say to the sons of Israel, You have seen that I have talked with you from the heavens.

Over two million people heard Yehovah state the 10 Commandments with His own voice. It is always good to go over what Yehovah actually spoke at this time of year.

Exo 20:1  And God spoke all these words, saying,
Exo 20:2  I am Jehovah your God, who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Exo 20:3  You shall have no other gods before Me.
Exo 20:4  You shall not make to yourselves any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5  You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them. For I Jehovah your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons to the third and fourth generation of those that hate me,6  and showing mercy to thousands of those that love Me and keep My commandments.

Exo 20:7  You shall not take the name of Jehovah your God in vain. For Jehovah will not hold him guiltless that takes His name in vain.

Exo 20:8  Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9  Six days you shall labor and do all your work. 10  But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Jehovah your God. You shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger within your gates. 11  For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and sanctified it.

Exo 20:12  Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long upon the land which Jehovah your God gives you.

Exo 20:13  You shall not kill.
Exo 20:14  You shall not commit adultery.
Exo 20:15  You shall not steal.
Exo 20:16  You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Exo 20:17  You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.

Two weeks ago we explained how the last 5 commandments are the same as leprosy. Israel agreed to these commandments of Yehovah and said that they would obey.

1st time

Exo 19:5  And now if you will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to Me above all the nations; for all the earth is Mine. 6  And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak to the sons of Israel. 7  And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which Jehovah commanded him. 8  And all the people answered together and said, All that Jehovah has spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people to Jehovah. 9  And Jehovah said to Moses, Lo, I come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever. And Moses told the words of the people to Jehovah.

2nd Time

Exo 24:1  And He said to Moses, Come up to Jehovah, you and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel. And bow yourselves afar off. 2  And Moses alone shall come near Jehovah, but they shall not come near. Neither shall the people go up with him. 3  And Moses came and told the people all the Words of Jehovah, and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said, All the words which Jehovah has said, we will do.

3rd Time

Exo 24:3  And Moses came and told the people all the Words of Jehovah, and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said, All the words which Jehovah has said, we will do. 4  And Moses wrote all the Words of Jehovah, and rose up early in the morning, and built an altar below the mountain and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel. 5  And he sent young men of the sons of Israel who offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of bulls to Jehovah. 6  And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. 7  And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the ears of the people. And they said, All that Jehovah has said we will do, and be obedient. 8  And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which Jehovah has made with you concerning all these words. 9  And Moses went up, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel. 10  And they saw the God of Israel. And there wasunder His feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as the essence of the heavens for clearness. 11  And upon the nobles of the sons of Israel He did not lay his hands. Also they saw God, and ate and drank. 12  And Jehovah said to Moses, Come up to Me in the mountain, and be there. And I will give you tablets of stone, and the Law, and commandments which I have written, so that you may teach them. 13  And Moses rose up, and his attendant Joshua. And Moses went up into the mountain of God. 14  And he said to the elders, You stay here for us until we come again to you. And behold, Aaron and Hur are with you. If any man has any matters to do, let him come to them. 15  And Moses went up into the mountain, and a cloud covered the mountain. 16  And the glory of Jehovah abode upon Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17  And the sight of the glory of Jehovah was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the sons of Israel. 18  And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and went up into the mountain. And Moses was in the mountain forty days and forty nights.

We gave our word. We made an Oath that we would obey. When we seven ourselves, we are in fact oathing ourselves once again. By counting the 7 Sabbaths of Shavuot we oath ourselves to Yehovah. By counting the 7 days of the week to the Sabbath we again oath ourselves. By counting the 7 years of the Shmitah cycle and also of the Jubilee cycle we again oath ourselves to Yehovah. By counting and keeping the 7 annual Feasts each year we are oathing ourselves to Yehovah each year.
Let me interject the prophecy of Daniel 9:24 right here.
Seventy Weeks are decreed for you people. Daniel 9:24

SeventyH7657 weeksH7620

This is very interesting two words. In Hebrew, they are the same word repeated but they have different vowel pointing so they are pronounced differently.
myubc myubc

H7657    myubc shib’iym    shib-eem’
Multiple of H7651; seventy: – seventy, threescore and ten (+ -teen).

H7651 ubc sheba?   hubc shib?a?h
sheh’-bah, shib-aw’
From H7650; a primitive cardinal number; seven (as the sacred full one); also (adverbially) seven times; by implication a week; by extension an indefinite number: – (+ by) seven ([-fold], -s, [-teen, -teenth], -th, times). Compare H7658.

H7658   hnubc  shib?a?na?h    shib-aw-naw’
Prolonged for the masculine of H7651; seven: – seven.

Take very special note of this next words 7650. Shaba to be complete to seven oneself just as we noted above by the woman going around her husband seven times or;
the 7th Day Sabbath where the earth rotates 7 times in one week;
or the 7 annual Feast in each year.
The 7 Days of Unleavened Bread and
the 7 Days of Sukkot.
The seven years for each Shemitah of the Sabbatical year cycle.
The 7 weeks of the Feast of Shavuot and
the 7 Sabbatical cycles to make one Jubilee cycle.
In total there are 7 events listed Holy Day events here that the woman emulates. The Man completes the woman. Yehovah completes us by us doing these sevening of oaths.

H7650   ubc   shaba    shaw-bah’
A primitive root; properly to be complete, but used only as a denominative from H7651; to seven oneself, that is, swear (as if by repeating a declaration seven times): – adjure, charge (by an oath, with an oath), feed to the full [by mistake for H7646], take an oath, X straitly, (cause to, make to) swear.

All of these 7’s to in fact declare that you are making a solemn oath.

H7646   ubc  s?a?ba? s?a?be?a?     saw-bah’, saw-bay’-ah
A primitive root; to sate, that is, fill to satisfaction (literally or figuratively): – have enough, fill (full, self, with), be (to the) full (of), have plenty of, be satiate, satisfy (with), suffice, be weary of.
H7658   hnubc  shib?a?na?h   shib-aw-naw’
Prolonged for the masculine of H7651; seven: – seven.

H7657   myubc  shib???ym    shib-eem’
Multiple of H7651; seventy: – seventy, threescore and ten (+ -teen).

So the First word is Seventy.
The second word is Sha bua.

H7620  myubc  sha?bu?a?   uwbcsha?bu?a?     hubc shebu??a?h
shaw-boo’-ah, shaw-boo’-ah, sheb-oo-aw’
Properly passive participle of H7650 as a denominative of H7651; literally sevened, that is, a week (specifically of years): – seven, week.
Now notice the word for Shavuot. twuwbc . The word Shavuot is from the word Shavu. The V and the B are interchangable. It is the same as Aviv and Abib. Shavuot is the plural of Shavu which is the word for week. Again our two words were SeventyH7657 weeksH7620. Our word H7620 is from the word 7650 Shaba.

H7650   ubc  sha?ba?    shaw-bah’

So these very two words that begin the Prophecy of Daniel are saying Seventy Shavuot are for your people Daniel. 70 Feast of Weeks, 70 Feast of Oaths. 70 Sevening of your people. 70 Jubilee Cycles are given to your people so they can prepare for the wedding.

Exodus 34:22 You shall observe the Feast of Weeks,

70 X 49 is 3430 years that are decreed for us to learn how to get it right and then the time runs outs. That is how long the bride of Yehovah has to get herself ready.
Yehovah when He swore by His own name in Gen 22:16, the word swore is H7650, Shabah to seven oneself. Yehovah sevened Himself to Abraham.

And the angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time from heaven and said, “By myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore.

And now you should know why Abraham sacrifced seven ewes between him and Pharaoh over the wells. That place today is known as Beer Sheba. Sheba being taken from one of the forms of the word we have quoted above.
I am adding this after some of you have already read this. Sorry but it is just so good. Listen to Nehemia talk about the Oath and Shavua and Shavuot.

Once a Marriage Ketuvah or contract or covenant is made then the Groom goes away and prepares His house for the bride. Our Groom was and is Yehovah.
He had prepared our place and was bringing us to it. A land flowing with Milk and Honey.

Eze 20:4  Will you judge them, son of man, will you judge them? Cause them to know the abominations of their fathers.  5  And say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: In the day that I chose Israel, and lifted up My hand to the seed of the house of Jacob, and made Myself known to them in the land of Egypt; when I lifted up My hand to them, saying, I am Jehovah your God;  6  in the day that I lifted up My hand to them, to bring them out from the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands; 7  then I said to them, Let each man throw away the abominations of his eyes, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am Jehovah your God. 8  But they rebelled against Me and would not listen to Me. They did not each man throw away the abominations of their eyes, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt. And I said, I will pour out My fury against them to fulfill My anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt. 9  But I worked for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned before the nations among whom they were, for I made Myself known to them in their eyes, by bringing them out of the land of Egypt.

We read in Numbers when the spies went up to the land two years after they left Egypt and they reported the land was filled with milk and honey.

Num 13:23  And they came to the valley of Eshcol and cut from there a branch with one cluster of grapes. And they carried it between two men upon a staff, and some of the pomegranates and of the figs. 24  The place was called the valley of Eshcol because of the cluster of grapes which the sons of Israel cut down from there. 25  And they returned from spying out the land after forty days. 26  And they left and came to Moses and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, to the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh. And they brought back word to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land. 27  And they told him and said, We came to the land where you sent us, and surely it flows with milk and honey. And this is the fruit of it.

Yehovah our Groom had prepared this land for us and it was flowing with milk and honey. But just as we were about to cross that threshold into the Land we rebelled and would not go for fear of the giants. And for that we had to wait another 40 years. Only then did Joshua and the Children of Israel cross the Jordan River, the threshold of the Promised land. They were now in the Beit, the house of Yehovah.
It is at this time that we see Israel circle around Jericho 7 times. As already mentioned, this is Israel circling her Groom 7 times in silence. Once they did this then Yehovah gave them the land as was symbolic of the walls of Jericho falling down before them.
Yes, we were married to Yehovah. He wanted to give us the world, but…we rebelled as you all know. And then Yehovah gave us, the Northern Ten Tribes of Israel a Bill of Divorce. He did not give one to Judah, but He did give one to us. You cannot give a bill of divorce if you’re not married.

Isa 50:1  So says Jehovah, Where is your mother’s bill of divorce, whom I have put away? Or to which of My creditors have I sold you? Behold, you were sold for your iniquities, and your mother is put away for your sins.
Jer 3:8  And I saw, when for all the causes for which backsliding Israel committed adultery, I sent her away and gave a bill of divorce to her, yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but she went and whored, she also.

We are then sent into captivity and dispersed throughout the world. This is the same story told in the book of Hosea. But Yehovah tells us something in Jeremiah.

Jer 31:31  Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will cut a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah, 32  not according to the covenant that I cut with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which covenant of Mine they broke, although I was a husband to them, says Jehovah; 33  but this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Israel: After those days, says Jehovah, I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34  And they shall no more teach each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah; for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says Jehovah. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sins no more.

Yehovah was and is our Husband. There is hope for us after all. Yehovah wants us to come back. This then is shown to us in the book of Acts. The giving of the Holy Spirit also took place on the Feast of Shavuot.

Act 2:1  And in the fulfilling of the day of Pentecost, they were all with one accord in one place. 2  And suddenly a sound came out of the heaven as borne along by the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3  And tongues as of fire appeared to them, being distributed; and it sat upon each of them. 4  And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5  And dwelling at Jerusalem there were Jews, devout men out of every nation under heaven. 6  But this sound occurring, the multitude came together and were confounded, because they each heard them speaking in his own dialect. 7  And they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, Behold, are not these who speak all Galileans? 8  And how do we each hear in our own dialect in which we were born? 9  Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10  Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya around Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, 11  Cretans and Arabians, we hear them speaking the great things of God in our own languages. 12  And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying to one another, What does this mean?

The Holy Spirit and the Ten Commandments are the very character of Yehovah. It is who He is. It is who we must become.

Joh 14:15  If you love Me, keep My commandments.

The very same Commandments spoken by Yehovah at Mount Sinai.

Joh 14:21  He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him. 22  Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, Lord, how is it that You will reveal Yourself to us and not to the world? 23  Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves Me, he will keep My Word. And My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24  He who does not love Me does not keep My Words, and the Word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.
1Jn 2:3  And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commandments. 4  He who says, I have known Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5  But whoever keeps His Word, truly in this one the love of God is perfected. By this we know that we are in Him. 6  He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk even as He walked.

In these last days, we are now once again seeing the pouring out on all flesh the Holy Spirit. So many have been called in these last ten years, and all of them coming to seek the love of Yehovah as John has stated. We show Yehovah our love by keeping and obeying the commandments of Mount Sinai. Our Ketubah which we must keep if we are going to have any hope of going across that threshold into the land of Milk and Honey.

Joe 2:25  And I will restore to you the years which the swarming locust has eaten, the locust larvae, and the stripping locust, and the cutting locust, My great army which I sent among you. 26  And you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of Jehovah your God, who has dealt with you wonderfully; and My people shall never be ashamed. 27  And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Jehovah your God, and no one else; and My people shall never be ashamed. 28  And it shall be afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; your old men shall dream dreams; your young men shall see visions. 29  And also I will pour out My Spirit on the slaves and on the slave women in those days.

Each year as we walk once again this path of Righteousness as Psalm 23:3 says, as we keep this Feast of Shavuot at the proper time of our wedding renewal and we once again go over the covenant we agreed to keep, we rewrite it on our hearts, as we want to obey and we strive to do all He has commanded us.

Ecc 12:13  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God, and keep His commandments. For this is the whole duty of man.

And yet some of you will still object to all of this saying, you do not have to keep the Sabbath or the Holy Days or the Sabbatical years.
Yet we are told in Deuteronomy that we must keep these things in the land of our diaspora when it will not be as easy as it would have been had we done in the land of milk and honey. We must keep them where ever we are in order to be brought back now to the land of Milk and Honey. Read it for yourself.

Deu 30:1  And it shall be when all these things have come on you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and when you shall call them to mind among all the nations where Jehovah your God has driven you, 2  and shall return to Jehovah your God and shall obey His voice according to all that I command you today, you and your sons, with all your heart, and with all your soul, 3  then Jehovah your God will turn your captivity. And He will have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the nations where Jehovah your God has scattered you. 4  If you are driven out into the outermost parts of the heavens, Jehovah your God will gather you from there, and He will bring you from there. 5  And Jehovah your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. And He will do you good, and multiply you above your fathers. 6  And Jehovah your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed, to love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live.

And still, some will maintain that these laws are just for the Jews. This is completely false. These laws were given to Adam and then to Noah. Noah was righteous and the only way you can be righteous is if you’re obeying the commandments. But look at what Isaiah says about the whole earth. Look at what happens to all those on the earth who are not Jews and how they too are being destroyed. Look at the reason they are destroyed.

Isaiah 24:1 Behold, the Lord will empty the earth and make it desolate,
and he will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants.
And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest;
as with the slave, so with his master;
as with the maid, so with her mistress;
as with the buyer, so with the seller;
as with the lender, so with the borrower;
as with the creditor, so with the debtor.
The earth shall be utterly empty and utterly plundered;
for the Lord has spoken this word.
The earth mourns and withers;
the world languishes and withers;
the highest people of the earth languish.
The earth lies defiled
under its inhabitants;
for they have transgressed the laws,
violated the statutes,
broken the everlasting covenant.

Do you want to go to the Land that Yehovah has prepared for you? Then you must obey. Since we have been out of the land it has turned into a desert. But since Judah has gone back it has blossomed into a beautiful land. It will do the same for you once you return, but in order to return you must obey the agreement of the Ketubah or you will not be brought back.

Eze 20:38  And I will purge out from among you the rebels and those who sin against Me. I will bring them out from the land where they reside, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.

You are sinning when you do not keep the Seventh Day Saturday Sabbath.
You are sinning when you do not keep the Holy Days at the appointed times.
You are sinning when you refuse to keep the Sabbatical year.

The Jews have changed the Holy Days after 358 C.E. under Hillel and now keep them according to the Hebrew Calendar. They no longer keep the Sabbatical years and the few that do, keep them at the wrong time. This is why 6 Million Jews were slaughtered in WW II. If Yehovah does this to those who think they are obeying Him, what is He going to do to those of you who are not obeying Him at all? Read again Isaiah 24.

No matter who you are, Yehovah is going to remove you from your place, no matter where you live. Those who rebel and sin and will not keep the covenant will not come into the land. They will die along the way.
This Shavuot review our Ketubah. Begin to practice the laws of the Kingdom you want to be in. And thank Yehovah for not leaving us in our sins and ignorance. Shavuot or Pentecost in 2018 is Sunday May 27.

Yehovah is going to slay many more millions, actually billions! The rivers of blood will flow on this earth soon. 1-2 billion so called Christians will be utterly destroyed by the wrath of Yehovah. Yeshua will triumphantly tell them before they are slaughtered like sheep in a slaughterhouse, “I NEVER KNEW YOU!”. Brethren a mere handful of today’s 7 billion plus population will survive the all powerful revenge of Yehovah. Pray that you will be one of them!!
Praise Yehovah and may we be spared his consuming wrath!!
    Blessings,

I just started using the 3 and a half year readings recently. It a great tool. I was pleased to see the Torah reading mentioned last Sabbath in the News letter. Good see I on right track with the readings
The Pod casts are awesome part of my Sabbath now also. Add so much to the videos and articles available here. Think there around 38 or so that I found.
Great article this week, as always much to meditate on and digest.

Shalom Sighted Moon I have questions about divorce & the 10 Nthr Tribes. Wasn’t Joseph going to divorce Miriam quietly for she was pregnant before they were married until the Spirit told him the baby in Miriam’s womb was from God? Or have I got it mixed up? Perhaps the marriage to Israel did not take place if it is similar to Joseph’s and Miriam’s situation. If Israel became pregnant by her idols by no longer worshipping God as a nation before the wedding, she would have been defiled and unfit for a High Priest to marry. Also I am not sure if engagement in Hebraic thought is the same to modern western thought and is considered a marriage anyway as the bride price paid at the ‘engagement’ to seal the agreement to marry? What do you think? Shavua Tov FJ

You have the story about Joseph and Mary correct. Hebraic thought and western thought are not the same. Yes, Yehovah divorced Israel the Northern Ten Tribes for their adulterous relationship. They went a whoring after other gods. Shavuot is the engagement proposal. The actual marriage takes place at Sukkot. Entering His chamber is the 8th Day Feast. And yes, once the woman goes into another lover she no longer can return to the first one.
Deut 24:1-4 “When a man takes a wife and marries her, if then she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, and she departs out of his house, and if she goes and becomes another man’s wife, and the latter man hates her and writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, or if the latter man dies, who took her to be his wife, then her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after she has been defiled, for that is an abomination before the Lord. And you shall not bring sin upon the land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance.
Israel went into another lover, Satan and his false gods. The Northern ten tribes cannot marry Yehovah. But Marriage is until death do us part. Yehovah in Yehshua died at Passover. He is now free to marry The Ten Tribes at the end of this Millennial week.
      Yehovah never divorced Judah.

        Thankyou Joseph.
Perhaps this is why Judah generally doesn’t see the need of a Saviour being enabled to say they are better than the Nthn tribes in not receiving the divorce. Do you have a grasp why Judah wasn’t divorced when not only, the regular citizens but also the high standing of the community were doing idol worship & were lovers of the nations for protection? Was it perhaps because of the faithful remnant amongst them or the consideration that the Temple service for atonement was needed? Have you ever pondered how atonement was made in between 1st and 2nd Temples? Was it entirely God’s mercy; with the yet to be revealed atonement in Yeshua the Lamb slain before the beginning of the world? I have made comment in the past about present day Jews following Pharisaic interpretation actually having no blood atonement without considering the gap that is a fact between the Temples and God’s kindness in proclaiming blessings to come to Judah in the exile, to proclaim a return after a period of time.
Kind regards & thankyou for the articles.
Really enjoyed the Pilipina’s singing grateful thanks to their parents. Now that should win the eurovision song contest and any other in this whole earth!
        Also
(I am still prayerfully considering the 7th day & calendar implications & as I have said previously my questions and change did not come from desiring to fit in at all to a church. I left the church to follow the bible. I initially kept the regular FRi-Sat & turned down a new job which I didn’t know had work on regular Sabbaths at the interview or the advertisement but fortunately God was watching over me and my potential employer arranged shifts differently rather than lose me. I also lost income from this decision receivingno penalty rates which are double and triple time over the weekends.
My entire questioning came from confronting a challenge to understand why we determine the 7th day the way we do when I become conscious of the IDL in travelling to Hawaii . In that travelling my husband made bookings that had me travelling from Hawaii on Sabbath and I held firm and refused to go unless the arrangements were changed. That left us on 2 different flights and all the associated monetary costs of changing itineraries, hotels, transfers & booking another separate internal flight for me to get to an international airport which we would have driven together to. This created a lot of personal relationship difficulty too as my husband at that time did not follow God’s word very much at all. He has since baptised into Yeshua & we are growing into faithfulness.
Still to do what is true, my month starts the day after your Canadian one (using the regular world calendar reckoning) because following the sighted moon in Israel makes that happen because of the IDL.)
Take care and I do appreciate that your words are awakening a sleeping bride. I have known Pilipinos and their families, not really well, but my experience is they have a loving servants heart willing to share & welcome very warmly. In my country,Pilipino women are not always liked at times because there are older men who go and bring them back as a lot younger brides when their initial marriages fail. Sad and not fair.

    Shabbat Shalom Joseph,
And what a wonderful Sabbath it has been for me. Your email response to my personal request arrived today. With a sincere and humbled heart, I thank you.
Ultimately, all credit and gratitude are due to Yahowah, but I want to thank you for this week’s teaching,- in fact, for all your teaching.
Most of all, I want to thank you for giving me the Priestly Blessing. You need to know this; I am profoundly humbled by your prayer for me. And every time I read it in a personal email to me, I am brought to tears. In tears I am writing to you now.
I count myself to be the lowest of the low. My transgressions are piled up like a dung heap to the sky and I am worth less than pond scum. I am not worthy of the Priestly Blessing, nor knowledge of Yahowah, nor of the community of the righteous. I am certainly not worthy of the renewed Kingdom. I deserve only death. (Romans 6:23 Isa 51)
Yet, THROUGH YOU, Yahowah blesses me, teaches me and gives me hope.
Like Ahab (1 Kings 21) I am given a reprieve and my sentence of death is commuted. By the Grace of Yahowah, through the enormous sacrifice of Yashua, I have an opportunity to “get it right” as you say.
Through your sacrifice of tireless work, (I can’t imagine how you manage it all), your endless research for truth and your absolute faith in the Word of God,- I am deeply blessed. The greatest blessing is that I can now believe that I have a very real opportunity to learn meaningful truth, to obey the Commandments, and to walk as Yashua did.
I have gained much from your website and books but like the straw that broke the camel’s back, two newsletters,- The Red Carpet & The Door and Seventy Weeks or Shib’iym Shib’iym were particularly helpful in bringing me to the following full realization and subsequent commitment.
Yahowah, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the God of my ancestors and I am under contract to Him. I am obliged by blood covenant, to obey all of the commandments written in the Torah. And all of this I will strive learn and to do. (Exe 19:8)
Everything I have, or ever will have, belongs to Him. All possessions and money are the property of Yahowah. The time I have left to live is His. The ground I walk on belongs to Him. He is the rightful owner of eveyrhing in my life.
My time, my relationships, the words of my mouth and every single thing I do from this day forward, I dedicate to Yahowah.
I promise to keep and guard His Commandments always.
I sincerely commit myself to being useful in professing the Word of Yahowah. So, I pray (and ask you and all who read this to pray) that Yahowah bless my decision and guide me in learning His Torah and sharing it with all who are willing to listen. And may I have the courage and strength to follow Yashua, even unto death for His Name’s sake, should that be required of me.
I pray also for you, Joseph Dumond, and for ALL who stand with you in the background helping to preach the good news. May you all be blessed with good health, long life and abundance; may you be guided and helped powerfully in doing His work and may you all be given joyful, happy hearts. May you all be standing ready on the day of Yashua’s return to receive the just inheritance of the righteous.
Of my own accord, I am not worthy to pray to Yahowah. But, I trust the words of Yashua (John 14:11-21). And I trust in Yashua’s acceptance of the death penalty on my behalf, which I rightfully deserve (Mt 20:28, Mk 10:45, 1Tim 2:6); otherwise I would have no right to ask anything of the Father. So, in Yashua’s name, with gratitude and trust, I ask all of these things.
    Amen
As far as I am concerned Joseph, you and all those who assist you are all to be counted as those who have “beautiful feet”. (Isa 52:7, Rom 10:15) And as you stated in your reply to my comment last week, it seems to me that Tzadik is certainly an appropriate description for you and your helpers as well.
I am relieved to know that Nehemiah Gordon is looking into your 45 proofs. I may have been a little harsh in accusing him of following the traditions of men and glibly dismissing the Sabbatical Year issue as unknowable. I did not mean to offend, but as you know, I can sometimes speak in haste and regret it later. Since he did not reply to my accusation, I do not feel comfortable sending him an apology. Yet, in the end, all that matters is the truth and I’m confident that you will make it clear. I pray that I may someday be able to do as much.
As this Sabbath day closes here in Cambodia I think about what a joy it would be to renew my Ketubah with Yahowah in the Philippines this Shavuot. But, that is not possible, so in the meantime, in spirit I am with them, with you and all who love the Word of Yahowah.
I look forward to sharing the Feasts of Trumpets, Tabernacles and Atonement with Brother Aike and the people of the Philippines this fall.
    Halleluyah!

    Shalom Brother Prophet Joseph Dumond,
This newsletter about your explanation of the Shebiym and cyclical pattern of 7 in the torah is very enlightening and helpful. I have at least minister at least 3 hebraic style weddings of the circling of the bride around the bridegroom and but I cannot really grasp the dephtness of the real meaning of it. I thought it was a just ritual invented by traditional judaism. But as to your explanation about it, it’s awesome to know that keeping the weekly shabbat, keeping the 7 holy days of leviticus 23, counting the omer 7 x 7, is signifying our oath to YHVH , the king of the universe and to know that this means that it shows YHVH the bridegroom great power over his bride, us ( Israel and the grafted in). This is a divine revelation……. Now I know why you are so serious about teachings about it.
More power and blessings from YHVH for sightedmoon.com ministry worldwide.

Shalom Joe, why is it that Dr Hoffman says we do not have the authority to “change the calendar”? Why would we observe something that we know to be incorrect? Are we not to be kings and priests? That eludes to having authority. Should we not be learning to exercise that authority over what we can control such as the days we observe. And also accept to blessing or curse for our decisions.
Thanks. Keep up the good work.

Dr. Hoffman is an Orthodox Jew and because of this, he has stated that they can nothing until the Sanhedrin approves it. They believe unity is more important than obeying Yehovah. But what Dr. Hoffman is doing and doing so with the blessing of the Sanhedrin is collecting data on how to sight the moon and when it is going to be impossible to see. His research is very good and very reliable. But he is doing it for the Sanhedrin in preparation for the day when they return to the Sighted moon calendar as they used to do before the Diaspora. What he is saying is that those of us who are already using the barley to determine the start of the year and the moon to determine the start of the month are already on the right track. That by doing the crescent moon to determine when the Holy Days are, that we are in fact keeping them at the proper time according to the Bible. And even in saying this they admit that the current system they are using, the Hebrew Calendar is, in fact, giving them the wrong days to keep.

A post I made to my fellowship regarding following the Jewish calender. Along with yours at the beginning of your letter – maybe it will help make it clearer. (Good letter by the way, and great comments).
I am making an observation to my friends that follow Torah as best they can or know. If you are following the Jewish calender you want to make special notice. I am not calling out names for I have no wish to embarrass or hurt anyone. I know this is unintentional. Consider our count of the 7 weeks to Shavout. If you are following the Jewish calender it is only 6 weeks. You will have missed the appointed time with Him.
If you say it started Passover week the day after Passover – Sabbath , and you are including the week of Passover in the count, you have not considered what is going on, you have just blindly followed a people and not the scriptures.
If you notice what these are a memorial to, consider then, the Exodus. There was Passover night and then they left . You are instead offering the “Wave offering” before they get out of Egypt. Before the crossing of the Red Sea! It was 3 days before they crossed. So as a memorial, you would have the sequence all mixed up. The Wave Offering that kicks off the count to Shavout is “after” they are safely in the land, not the day after Passover. Re-Read Lev. 23:9-1, the Wave offering is “after” they get into the land. This will also tie to the third day, the resurrection of Messiah. It cannot be before the resurrection of the Messiah.
Lev 23:9 And YAHWEH spoke to Moses, saying,
Lev 23:10 Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, When you come in to the land which I am giving to you, and have reaped its harvest, and have brought in the Omer, of the beginning of your harvest, to the priest,
Lev 23:11 then he shall wave the Omer before YAHWEH for your acceptance; on the morrow of the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.
Lev 23:12 And you shall prepare a lamb in the day you wave the Omer, one without blemish, a son of a year, for a burnt offering to YAHWEH.

Hello Royal Family of Yehovah and bride of Yeshua,
The Sanhedrin killed Yeshua the saviour of mankind and the prophecized messiah in all the Hebrew scriptures. Today they reject prophet Joe and discount him as a Gentile interloper but for this Yehovah will once again punish them for their stubborn and rebellious ways!! Woe on to the Sanhedrin, the wrath of Yehovah will be hurled upon you in these last days!
    Shalom,

The truth is that each one of us killed the Messiah. Not the Sanhedrin. It was your sins Bobby and my sins that Killed Yehshua. The Sanhedrins has not rejected me. But many people have all around the world. Let’s be careful who we are cursing and know that the same mouth that does such has trouble when it comes time to bless. Practice blessing people more than cursing them. Get in that habit.

Greetings Prophet Joe, Anointed One of Yehovah in the last days of mankind before the triumphant return of Yeshua to punish all those who fail to keep Torah and the Sabbatical Years and in so doing fail to worship Yehovah correctly,
Please elaborate on Yehovah divorcing the 10 tribes but not Judah. Was Yehovah married to more than one bride and was this polygamy?
Blessing to all in the Royal Family of Yehovah and the soon to be bride of Yeshua,

    Hi Prophet Joe,
I have a new catch phrase I hope will take off. Hurrah for the Torah! Sounds catchy and I am sure will be sweet music to the ears of the eternal Yehovah who despises and will utterly annihilate everyone under the sun who does not keep Torah! All ye so called followers of Yeshua will all be told that he doesn’t know you in the final judgement which is coming faster than a speeding bullet! The time is nigh to repent all ye who reject the Torah! Hurrah for the Torah!!
    Blessings to all,
    Edward J. Haskel
P.S. Where is the church you assemble on Shabbat? I want to start attending your church.
