Passover 2022 & the Looming Food Crisis

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom & Chag Sameach to the Royal Family of Yehovah,

Shabbat Zoom Meeting

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teach you and encourage you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable to explain why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Passover High Sabbath services begin March 19 at 10AM EDT we will be doing prayers and teaching from this hour, and this service will close in it’s organic hour… when ever we need to retreat.  Then we will rejoin the Zoom at 2 PM EDT for a second service.

We will meet again on Friday March 25 again for services at 10 and 2 EDT

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

Joseph Dumond is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Septennial Torah Portion

If you go to Torah Portion at our archived section, you can then go to the 5th year which is the 5th year of the Sabbatical Cycle, the one we are in now, as we state at the top of every News Letter. There you can scroll down to March 12, 2022, and see that this Shabbat we could very well be midrashing about

Exodus 32

Isaiah 63-65

Proverbs 3

Acts 2

If you missed last week’s exciting discoveries as we studied that section you can go and watch past Shabbats on our media section.

Passover and Removing of Leaven

Today is Passover 2022. The Passover meal was eaten at the start of the 15th after sunset. This was Friday evening, March 18. Thursday evening was the Fast of the Firstborn and the foot-washing ceremony.

By now your homes and work areas should be leaven free and all leaven products are thrown out. No, you are not going to give what represents your sins to a neighbour or store them off your property and then bring them back in after the 7th day of Unleavened Bread. Just imagine it if you would that you are bringing back those sins you have put out.

I wanted to give you a very short message this Passover day.  But world events have multiplied since I sent out last week’s Newsletter. You can read about it all below and then do as you feel led to do.

This week the leaven you have put out is to be likened to what we talked about on Shabbat a couple of weeks ago and what spiritual idolatry is. In plain English it is shit. It is that revolting. Liken you sins to shit and this is what leaven is to represent. Are you going to bring that back into your life? NO!

This is what Elijah and Isaiah call idol worship and anything that leads you away from Yehovah and His pure faith.

The Mount of Golgotha was where the Holy Anointing oils were made. It was called hammishchah. But when idolatry was introduced on that same mountain the word hammischah was changed.  Read the following out loud.

Mount of corruption – This, says Jarchi, following the Chaldee, was the mount of Olives, for this is the mount המשחה hammishchah, of unction; but because of the idolatrous purposes for which it was used, the Scripture changed the appellation to the mount המשחית  hammashchith, of corruption.

“I’m a shit” would be the English phonetic of the Hebrew hammashchith for the word corruption.

What was once called Golgotha, hammishchah where they made the Holy Anointing oil, that extra special ointment that was only to be used in the Temple itself or on Kings or prophets, has now had its name changed to hammashchith for the word corruption, which is a prim and proper way for our delicate ears not to hear what it really means. The Mount of Shit.

(It is on this Mountain where Randy and I will be keeping Passover and then just yards away is the hammashchith place set up for idolatry by Solomon and where we believe the abomination will also be set up in the coming years. It is this place where the abomination is to be set up, that Randy and I are going to investigate this week. We will explain all of this in great detail in our book which we hope to have ready soon.) (The lead picture of this article is Golgotha after sunrise which I took many years ago myself.)

If your sins are like filthy chah chah, then you will avoid it at all cost. Yehovah calls idolatry hammashchith. And it these false gods which He destroyed when He sent the plagues of Egypt. The same plagues He is sending now. Right now!

To help you understand how this false worship spread around the world and the advanced technology they brought with them and how this false worship survived and mutated into the religions of the world that all of us have come out of, I have a video for you to watch.

We must start over in our walk with Yehovah. We cannot adopt some of the things we did and think they are ok. It is like just a little bit of crap in a brownie. Even though it was only a pinch, you would not touch any of them if I told you I put just a little in it.

It is the same with Yehovah’s Torah. A little false teaching, hammashchith ruins the whole thing.

With that bit of introduction, I would like you to find the time to watch this 3-hour video. Then once I share with you the information we just touched on, in the coming book, this will make so much more sense and understanding.

So, remove all the leaven from your home and treat it as hammashchith, the same as you are now removing all things not found in Torah from your lives.

Calendar Continued

We have been going through the history of the calendar over the past few weeks. We have shown you how the crescent moon calendar was in use right from the time of Noah and the Assyrian Empire. We have shown you how it was around the Roman age that it began to be changed.

Then we have also shown you how the persecution of the Jews and their expulsion from the land led NASI Hillel to create the calculated calendar. We even shown you how the tombstones from Zoar show us how they kept the crescent moon calendar and then when they changed to the calculated calendar.

In all of this, we have also demonstrated how each one used an intercalated leap month about every three years or so. And we have explained to you how the Metonic 19-year Cycles were incorporated by Hillel for calculating the calendar leap years. And we should you how all the calendars used this leap month regularly until the Muslims stopped using it in 628 AD and now their calendar is moving by 11 days each and every year. It does not line up with the seasons.

We are now going to explain why we use the barley to declare the beginning of the year. And we are going to do so in a different way than what we have been doing thus far. Not a historical expose, but what the barley represents. The barley represents Yehshua.

OMER (Heb. עֹמֶר, lit. “sheaf”), an offering brought to the Temple on the 16th of Nisan and thus the name of the period between Passover and Shavuot.

The Bible (Lev. 23:9ff.) prescribes that “when you enter the land which I am giving to you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the first sheaf of your harvest to the priest… the priest shall wave it on the day after the sabbath.” After the waving, a burnt offering together with a meal offering and a libation were made at the altar and after that had been done it was permissible to eat of the new harvest: “Until that very day, until you have brought the offering of your God, you shall eat no bread or parched grain or fresh ears.” The exact meaning of “the day after the sabbath” in the biblical passage was a major point of controversy between the rabbis and the *Boethusians (Men. 65a–b) and, later, the *Karaites. The latter argued that the ceremony was to be performed on the day after the Sabbath immediately following the first day of Passover whereas the rabbis argued that in this context the word “sabbath” was to be understood not as the weekly Sabbath but as a “holy day” and meant the first day of Passover itself. Since the passage quoted continues with the law “And from the day on which you bring the sheaf of wave offering–the day after the Sabbath–you shall count seven weeks” and the fiftieth day is Shavuot it follows that according to the sectarians the festival of Shavuot always fell on a Sunday. It has been suggested (L. Finkelstein, The Pharisees (19623), 2, 641ff.) that this was a major factor in the dissidents’ view, as having the festival always on a Sunday was far more convenient for the Temple cult.

The rabbis, in the light of Exodus 16:36 – “The Omer is a tenth of an ephah” – interpreted the word as a measure of grain and also ruled that it was to be brought of barley only. The ephah was three se’ot and thus on the 16th of Nisan three se’ot of barley were reaped, brought to the Temple, ground and sifted, and of this, one tenth (the Omer) was “waved” by the priest. The Mishnah (Men. 10) describes the ritual in detail. It was celebrated with a great deal of ceremony and festivity in order to stress the opinion of the rabbis that the 16thof Nisan was the correct date. The ceremony, including the reaping, took place even if the 16th of Nisan was a Sabbath; one opinion has it that on a weekday five se’ot were reaped since after sifting only three would remain but that on a Sabbath only three were reaped so as to avoid unnecessary work (Men. 10:1). If the barley was ripe it was taken from the vicinity of Jerusalem; otherwise it could be brought from anywhere in Israel. It was reaped by three men, each with his own scythe and basket. The grain was then brought to the Temple where it was winnowed, parched, and ground into coarse flour. It was then sifted through 13 sieves and one tenth was given to the priest who mixed it with oil and frankincense for “a pleasing odor to the Lord” and “waved” it “before the Lord.” This was done by the priest taking the offering on his outstretched hands and moving it from side to side and up and down. This ceremony was interpreted as a prayer to God to protect the harvest from injurious winds and other calamities (Men. 62a). After the waving ceremony a handful was burnt on the altar and the rest was eaten by the priests.

Mia Ton Sabbaton

Many people each year say, “Where does it say for us to count the Omer? That is just a Jewish tradition and we are not going to keep it!”

Do not forget that in our teaching on the Road to Emmaus, we showed you how at the Council of Nicea, when they put the bible together in its present form they worked hard to get rid of the Jewish expressions and move the people away from Sabbath worship to Sunday worship. That was how they got many to begin to keep Easter Sunday as the day Yehshua came out of the grave.

We have another example of them twisting the scriptures to build a case for Sunday worship, by taking the expressions used for counting the Omer and making them say something they never did say.

I am now going to cut in on an article that talks about this. They are first looking at the scripture in

Acts 20:6 And after the Feast of Unleavened Bread, we sailed from Philippi, and five days later we rejoined them in Troas, where we stayed seven days. 7On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Since Paul was ready to leave the next day, he talked to them and kept on speaking until midnight.

So this is after the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

On the first day of the weekwhen we were gathered together to break bread, Paul began talking to them, intending to leave the next day, and he prolonged his message until midnight.

First, the phrase ‘first day of the week’ is the following in the Greek manuscript: … transliterated, ‘mia ton sabbaton.’  That might answer your question right there without going any farther.  The literal translation is ‘one of the sabbaths.’  I kid you not, there is NO equivalent of this phrase anywhere in Greek literature that means ‘first day of the week.’

In fact, the phrase only appears nine time in all of Greek literature.  Seven appear in the Gospels, once here and in 1 Corinthians 16:2.  All references are in relation to the Feast of First fruits and the counting of the omer.  Every one.  All point to ‘one of the Sabbaths.’  See Acts 20:6 and 16 and 1 Corinthians 16:2 & 8 to demonstrate that every occurrence in Scripture is related to counting the seven Sabbaths after Passover.  NO reference in Scripture EVER points to Sunday.  A detailed study is available here.

So, back to the verse I quoted, our Western Greek mind tries to make this event happen on Sunday night when in fact, it occurred Saturday evening after the weekly Sabbath worship and a shared meal when Rav Shaul gets cranked up teaching some more and talks late into the night.

A further study into Constantine reveals that he, in 325 a.d., outlawed Sabbath worship as well as feasts and anything else Jewish among Christians on pain of death.  This, then, begs the question.  What were Christians, as late as 325 a.d. doing worshiping on the Sabbath and celebrating the feasts if the Law had been done away with??   One source.

Peter Rambo is correct. There is no doubt what the words mia ton sabbaton literally mean. For example, in the very authoritative Green’s Interlinear Bible (sold in print or through Logos software), the English is translated directly under the Greek, for Acts 20:7 as:”on and the one of the Sabbaths.” Taking into account Greek grammatical rules, this is translated: “And, upon one of the Sabbaths.” This fits the context because Paul was talking about going to Jersualem to worship which requires counting several Sabbaths from Passover to determine the Feast of Pentecost. Thus, the apparent meaning of this verse is that this particular Sabbath was one of the seven Sabbaths in the count to the Day of Pentecost.

However, most translations of this passage render it the same as the King James Version does, namely, “the first day of the week” that a Christian reunion took place. Yet, even the KJV italicizes “day” to indicate it is not present, and is added as a help word. See Acts 20:7, KJV, NIV, ISV, ESV, ASV,YLT.

Other translations besides Green’s render it as on “one of the Sabbaths” — because Sabbaton is plural in Acts 20:7 —  Jubilee 2000, New English Bible, Good News for Modern Man.

The Greek is simple and clear: mia means one, not first. See Strong’s 1520.

Protos means first; mia never does. Only a forced presupposition that twists this word into “first” explains the mistranslation — designed to justify Sunday-as-Sabbath as a practice long before the 300s when it first truly began.

And Sabbaton means Sabbaths (a plural), and never week. Again, the only exception is where there is an obvious presupposition being employed to force upon the word “sabbaths” a meaning it never had — week — to justify that the earliest church under the apostles rested (and gathered) on Sunday (the first day of the week) for which there is no evidence outside this mistranslation-supplied evidence

Prior to the King James 1611 AD translation, Reformation leading voices who knew the Greek and early church history tried to correct this distortion. John Calvin, a leading reformer of the 1500s, and trained in Greek, knew Acts 20:7 was more likely about Sabbath than Sunday, and said so. Calvin wrote:

Either doth he mean the first day of the week, which was next after the Sabbath, or else some certain Sabbath, which latter thing may seem to me more probable; for this cause, because that day was more fit for all assembly, according to custom… For to what end is there mentioned of the Sabbath, save only that he may note the opportunity and choice of the time? Also, it is a likely matter that Paul waited for the Sabbath, that the day before his departure he might the more easily gather all the disciples into one place. John Calvin, Commentary on I Cor. 16, www.ccel.org/ccel /calvin/calcom40.ii.i.html.

Wave Sheaf Day

You are now keeping the 7 days of Unleavened Bread. Sabbath is the 1st day you are to be eating Matzos. But Sunday begins something that each year many will write and protest about.

They will say where are we commanded to count the omer? It is not there and we are not going to do it.

You shall count for yourselves — from the day after the Shabbat, from the day when you bring the Omer of the waving — seven Shabbats, they shall be complete. Until the day after the seventh sabbath you shall count, fifty days… -Leviticus 23:15-16

You shall count for yourselves seven weeks, from when the sickle is first put to the standing crop shall you begin counting seven weeks. Then you will observe the Festival of Shavu’ot for the L-RD, your G-d -Deuteronomy 16:9-10

According to the Torah (Lev. 23:15), we are obligated to count the days from the morrow after the weekly Sabbath during the days of Unleavened Bread to Shavuot or Pentecost. This period is known as the Counting of the Omer. An omer is a unit of measure. In the days of the Temple, an omer of barley was cut down and brought to the Temple as an offering. This grain offering was referred to as the Omer. This grain offering was done after the sunset at the end of the weekly Sabbath during the days of Unleavened Bread.

Every night, we recite a blessing and state the count of the omer in both weeks and days. So on the 16th day, you would say “Today is sixteen days, which is two weeks and two days of the Omer.”

The counting is intended to remind us of the link between Passover, which commemorates the Exodus, and Shavu’ot, which commemorates the giving of the Torah. It reminds us that the redemption from slavery was not complete until we received the Torah. But there is a greater lesson here to be learned.

The wave sheaf was waved on this first day of the week.

Lev 23:9 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. He shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted on your behalf; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. They were to bring the Sheaf in to be waved on the day after the Sabbath.

The problem then comes up as to which Sabbath. Was it the weekly Sabbath or the High Day of the first day of Unleavened Bread?

If we only read Joshua 5:10 which is what some do, then they conclude that it must be after the 1st Day of Unleavened Bread. Now the first-day Unleavened Bread comes on the 15th day of Aviv. So they conclude that the wave sheaf day is the 16th. And they base this on Joshua 5:10. Many an Ephraimite has blindly followed the Rabbis in this teaching.

But let us all understand and just do some simple math.

The Passover Lamb is killed on the 14th in the late afternoon at 3 PM.

We just read “10 And the children of Yisra’el camped in Gilgal, and performed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at evening on the desert plains of Yerihco.”

They kept the Passover preparations on the 14th day.

We then read “11 And they ate of the stored grain of the land on the morrow after the Passover, unleavened bread and roasted grain on this same day.”

The reason they would be eating the stored grain is that this first year they entered the Land of Israel, the Promised Land was a Jubilee year and the Israelites would have stored the grains from two years previous. The Year before would also have been a 49th Year and a Sabbatical year as well. But the Canaanites also had stored food from the winter which was just finishing.

The next line reads; 12 “And the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the stored grain of the land. And the children of Yisrael no longer had manna, but they ate the food of the land of Kenaan that year.”

This is the reason some begin the count to Pentecost on the 16th of Aviv.

We are told in Lev 23 to wave the sheaf “On the morrow after the Sabbath the priest waves it.”

So which Sabbath is it? Is it the one after the 15th of Aviv, the High day of Unleavened Bread or is the after the weekly Sabbath? The answer is given to you in the scriptures; all we have to do is read.

Lev 23:15 ‘And from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, you shall count for yourselves: seven completed Sabbaths. 16 ‘Until the morrow after the seventh Sabbath you count fifty days, then you shall bring a new grain offering to Yehovah.

When you count 50 days the day after the Sabbath that you begin with has to end up on the day after the 7 Sabbath days is completed. Seven Sabbaths are 49 Days and the day after the Seventh Sabbath has to be the 50th day. Therefore the 50th Day is Sunday or the first day of the week, which means that the day you begin to count from has to be a Sunday and now you are forced to conclude that the Sabbath you start your count the day after is the weekly Saturday Sabbath and not the High Day of Unleavened Bread.

Once you understand this teaching then you will be able to understand how the Jubilee year which is the 50th year is also the first year, the same as the 50th day of Pentecost is also the first day.

We all know about the Holy Days of Leviticus 23. We are keeping Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread right now.

But why is the wave sheaf day so important?

Let us now walk through this momentous event that Yehshua played out in real life which was typified by the wave offering.

It is on this day of the 14th when Yehshua was killed.

As we have said the Passover can be on any day of the week from one year to the next.

In the year that Yehshua died, and in fact all the years Yehshua lived He kept each Holy Day by counting them from the Sighted Crescent Moon to begin the month. How can I prove this?

It is simple. The year Yehshua died had to be 3 days and 3 nights from Passover the 14th day when He was killed until that Saturday afternoon when He was raised from the grave. And this Passover must be 14 days after the Crescent moon was seen to begin the month.

There are only two years that we can consider as candidates for this. One of those years was 28 C.E. and the other was 31 C.E.

We also know that Yehshua was born on September 11, 3 B.C., this was the Feast of Trumpets that year. And that he began his ministry in his 30th year.

Luk 3:23 And when Yehshua Himself began, He was about thirty years of age, being, as reckoned by law, son of Yoseph, son of Heli,

Yehshua’s 30th birthday from 3 B.C. is the fall of 27 C.E. We then read in Luke what came after the test with Satan.

Luk 4:16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him.

Isa 61:1 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

What is the acceptable year that Yehshua was to proclaim?

Many assume this to be the Jubilee year. But history and knowing when the Jubilee years fell prove this wrong. Could this acceptable year then be a Sabbatical year? When we check all the known sabbatical years then we are able to prove this is in fact true. The year of 28 C.E. when Yehshua read this was in fact a Sabbatical year. So Yehshua began to speak in the acceptable year or the Sabbatical year of 28 C.E.

When we go to http://www.torahcalendar.com/MOON.asp?JDN=1731360&TDAY=1 we can see that in the year 28 C.E. the New Crescent Moon was on a Tuesday Evening and therefore 14 days later would bring us to the 14th day of the 1st month when the Passover Lamb was to be killed which this year was on a Wednesday.

The problem with this year of 28 C.E is that Yehshua was still in his 30th year and had not preached for the 3 years.

Some teach that Yehshua preached for 70 weeks. They also agree that He was 30 in 27 C.E. But in order to end up on a Wednesday crucifixion they cannot do it because the new moon in 29 C.E. which is when the 70 weeks is finished, was on a Monday evening and would be a day early for Passover. http://www.torahcalendar.com/MOON.asp?JDN=1731744&TDAY=1

Now when we look at 31 C.E. the New Moon is visible on the Tuesday April 10, 31 C.E.; Tuesday evening. http://www.torahcalendar.com/MOON.asp?JDN=1732452&TDAY=1 This then means that the Passover lamb would be killed on the Wednesday. It also means there was an extra month added that year.

The reason this is important to understand it that the only sign that we have that Yehshua was and is our Messiah was that He would be dead 3 Days and 3 nights.

Mat 12:38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, “Teacher, we wish to see a sign from You.” 39 But He answering, said to them, “A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Yonah. 40 “For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the stomach of the great fish, so shall the Son of Ad?am be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Mat 16:1 And the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and trying Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. 2 And He answering, said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘Fair weather, for the heaven is red,’ 3 and in the morning, ‘Stormy weather today, for the heaven is red and overcast.’ You know how to discern the face of the heaven, but you are unable to discern the signs of the times! :4 “A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Yonah.” And He left them and went away.

We read in Jonah that he was inside the fish for three days and three nights.

Jon 1:17 But Yehovah appointed a great fish to swallow Yonah. And Yonah was in the stomach of the fish three days and three nights.

Knowing that the Passover Lamb was to be killed on the Wednesday in 31 C.E. and that Yehshua was our Passover Lamb killed for us and that He was killed at 3 PM on the 14th Day. The Ninth hour is counted from 6 AM, the 9th hour of this watch which is 3 PM in the afternoon.

Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour Yehshua cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

Luk 23:44 And it was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over all the land, until the ninth hour. 45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the Dwelling Place was torn in two. 46 And crying out with a loud voice, Yehshua said, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” And having said this, He breathed His last.

Once Yehshua had died they had to hurry to bury Him as this 14th day was the preparation day for the 15th day which is the day the actual angel passed Over the Israelites in Egypt. It was also the first day of Unleavened Bread which was also called the High Day. And the body had to be buried before this Sabbath and it had to be off the tree before nightfall.

We have now established that the month began with the sighted moon on the Tuesday evening of April 10, 31 C.E. None of the other years match up, not 30 or 29 or 32, 33 or 34. We count out the 14 days to the Preparation day of Unleavened bread when the Passover Lambs would be killed. Yehshua was killed at 3 PM on the 14th day. The next day was Thursday in 31C.E. and it was the first day of Unleavened Bread. It was the 15th day and a High Sabbath Day. From the time Yehshua was in the grave we now have one night and one day.

Friday is then the preparation day for the weekly Sabbath. Thursday night and Friday day would be the second night and the second day.

Shabbat would begin at sunset Friday night. And Saturday would be the conclusion of Shabbat, which is now the third night and third day since he was in the tomb, just like Jonah who was in the belly of the fish, entombed for 3 days and 3 night.

We then read about the events that occurred on the first day.

Mat 28:1 Now after the Sabbath, toward dawn on the first day of the week,1 Miryam from Magedala and the other Miryam came to see the tomb.

Mar 16:1 And when the Sabbath was past, Miryam from Magedala, and Miryam the mother of Yacaqob, and Shelomah bought spices, to go and anoint Him. 2 And very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. 3 And they said among themselves, “Who shall roll away the stone from the entrance of the tomb for us?” 4 And looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, for it was extremely large. 5 And having entered into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right, wearing a white robe, and they were greatly astonished.

Luk 24:1 And on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared, 2 and they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. 3 And having entered, they did not find the body of the Master Yehshua.

Joh 20:1 And on the first day of the week1 Miryam from Magedala came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb.

We can read from all four gospels that the women came in the dark before dawn to the tomb and it was the first day of the week. But the body of Yehshua was already gone.

Shabbat had ended and so Friday night and Sabbath would make the third day and third night that Yehshua was in the grave. The exact same way Jonah was in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights.

These scriptures show us that they came on the first day of the week and Yehshua was gone. All of this goes to prove that Yehshua had to be killed on a Wednesday in order to be dead three days and three nights and to not be there on the first day of the week when these women came. It also proves that the month begins with the sighted moon or first crescent moon to begin the month. And the only year that this all could happen according to the sighted moon was 31 C.E.

What happened when Mary did find Yehshua?

Joh 20:10 Then the disciples went away again to their own homes.
But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. Then they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?”
She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.”
Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?”
She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.”
Jesus said to her, “Mary!”
She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher).
Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”
Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her.

What did Yehshua mean when He said “Do not hold on to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My Elohim and your Elohim.’ ”?

We have already explained to you about the wave Sheaf, but let’s again look at it.

Lev 23:10 “Speak to the children of Yisrael, and you shall say to them, ‘When you come into the land which I give you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 ‘And he shall wave the sheaf before Yehovah, for your acceptance. On the morrow after the Sabbath the priest waves it.

This wave offering was done on this same Sunday Morning that Mary discovered Yehshua.

Joh 20:19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

This same first day Yehshua was now standing amongst the Apostles and was now allowing them to touch Him. He had already performed what had to be done on this first day.

This first day during the Days of Unleavened bread which is this Sunday April 16, 2017 is call  Yom Hanafat Ha’omer (Day of the Waving of the Sheaf). When the Temple stood this day marked the official commencement of the grain harvest (Dt 16:7) and sheaves of barley were cut and brought to the Temple as a wave-offering (Lev 23:9-14). This day also marks the beginning of the 50-day count to  Shavuot (Pentecost; Feast of Weeks). Yom Hanafat Ha’omer is counted as Day 1 and Shavuot as Day 50.

The reason we must wait for the barley to be at a certain stage of growth is precisely for this wave offering to take place. No barley means we can’t do this commandment.

This is why we search for the barley to see if it is going to be Aviv.

Dt 16,9 which states:

“From when the sickle commences on the standing grain you will begin to count seven weeks.”

From Lev 23,15 we know that the seven weeks between Passover (Hag Hamatzot) and Pentecost (Shavuot) begin on the day when the wave-sheaf offering is brought (i.e. the Sunday which falls out during Passover):

“And you shall count from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day you bring the sheaf of waving; they will be seven complete Sabbaths.”

Therefore, the “sickle commences on the standing grain” on the Sunday during Passover, i.e. 2-3 weeks after the beginning of the month of the Abib. If the barley is not developed enough so that it will be ready for the sickle 2-3 weeks later, then the month of the Abib can not begin and we must wait till the following month.

It should be noted that not all the barley ripens in the Land of Israel at the same time. The wave-sheaf offering is a national sacrifice brought from the first fields to become harvest-ready. However, the first-fruit offerings brought by individual farmers can vary in ripeness anywhere from “Abib parched in fire” to fully ripe grain which may be brought “crushed” or “coarsely ground”. This is what is meant in Lev 2,14:

“And when you bring a first-fruit offering to YHWH; you shall bring your first-fruit offering as Abib parched in fire or crushed Carmel” (Carmel is grain which has hardened beyond Abib to the point where it can be “crushed” or “coarsely ground”).

The barley is the first fruits offering. It is the wave offering done on this Sunday morning during the days of Unleavened Bread.

Paul has some things to say about this first fruits offerings.

1Co 15:20 But now Messiah has been raised from the dead, and has become the first-fruit of those having fallen asleep. 21 For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a Man. 22 For as all die in Adam, so also all shall be made alive in Messiah . 23 And each in his own order: Messiah, the first-fruits, then those who are of Messiah at His coming, 24 then the end, when He delivers up the reign to Elohim the Father, when He has brought to naught all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He has to reign until He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy to be brought to naught is death.

Yehshua once He came out of the grave became the first fruits of all those who had died.

Paul also gives you the order of each time when the dead will be raised up. And each in his own order: Messiah is first and then the first-fruits, those who had died before this day since Adam, and next will be those who are of Messiah at His coming, which is the whole meaning of what Shavuot is about.

The first resurrection is with Messiah which are those that are the first fruits when He rose from the dead in 31 C.E. Then those Saints at his coming which is yet future and then all the rest at the end, which is speaking about the final resurrection at Sukkot.

Col 1:12 giving thanks to the Father who has made us fit to share in the inheritance of the set-apart ones in the light, 13 who has delivered us from the authority of darkness and transferred us into the reign of the Son of His love, Footnote: 1Lk. 11:35, John 8:12, John 12:46-50, Acts 26:18, Eph. 5:8. 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, 15 who is the likeness of the invisible Elohim, the first-born of all creation.1 Footnote: 1Heb. 1:6, Rev. 3:14.

You are commanded to come up to Jerusalem 3 times each year at the three hags. Passover, Shavuot and Sukkot. Each of these three hags represents one part of the plan of Salvation. The first part took place when Yehshua came out of the grave and led that host of captives with Him to Heaven. The captives are those who were in the faith and had died in the faith up until this time in 31 CE.

Shavuot is the next time the dead in the faith will be raised up again at the wave offering that takes place at the time. Then finally all those who have died since the creation of Adam will be raised up at Sukkot. This is Yehovah’s plan and this is what each of the Holy Days points to.

Yehshua was the first born of all creation and the first born of the dead.

Col 1:18 And He is the Head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that He might become the One who is first in all.

Paul again says this in

Act 26:22 “Therefore, having obtained help from Elohim, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying nil else than what the prophets and Mosheh said would come – 23 that the Messiah would suffer, would be the first to rise from the dead, He would proclaim light to the people and to the gentiles.” 24 And while saying this in his defence, Festus said with a loud voice, “Sha’ul, you are mad! Much learning is turning you to madness!”

Yehshua was the first to rise from the dead. Why is this so amazing? The answer is found in John. Yehshua stated plainly that not one person has gone up to heaven. None, no one at all.

Even the thief on the tree with Yehshua had not gone up to Heaven, even though Yehshua said

Luk 23:42 And he said to Yehshua, “Master, remember me when You come into Your reign.” 43 And Yehshua said to him, “Truly, I say to you today, you shall be with Me in Paradise.”

So what did Yehshua mean?

He was speaking of this 4th millennial day which was not going to end until 85 C.E.

Joh 3:1 And there was a man of the Pharisees, Nakadimon was his name, a ruler of the Yehudim. 2 This one came to Yehshua by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from Elohim, for no one is able to do these signs You do if Elohim is not with him.” 3 Yehshua answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born from above, he is unable to see1 the reign of Elohim.” Footnote: 1Or perceive. 4 Nakadimon said to Him, “How is a man able to be born when he is old? Is he able to enter into his mother’s womb a second time and be born?” 5 Yehshua answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he is unable to enter into the reign of Elohim. 6 “That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 “Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You have to be born from above.’ 8 “The Spirit1 breathes where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who has been born of the Spirit.” Footnote: 1Or wind. 9 Nakadimon answered and said to Him, “How is it possible for this to take place?” 10 ?Yehshua answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Yisrael, and do not know this? 11 “Truly, truly, I say to you, We speak what We know and witness what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12 “If you do not believe when I spoke to you about earthly matters, how are you going to believe when I speak to you about the heavenly matters? 13 “And no one has gone up into the heaven except He who came down from the heaven – the Son of Adam.

But now for the very first time someone had come from the grave. The grave is represented as those held captive by Satan.

And Yehshua has now broken this captivity.

Eph 4:8 That is why it says, “When He went up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men.” 9 But what does “He went up” mean, except that He also first went down into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He who went down is also the One who went up far above all the heavens, to fill all.

Read what Clarke has to say on this.

Ephesians 4:8

Wherefore he saith – The reference seems to be to Psa_68:18, which, however it may speak of the removal of the tabernacle, appears to have been intended to point out the glorious ascension of Christ after his resurrection from the dead. The expositions of various commentators have made the place extremely difficult. I shall not trouble my reader with them; they may be seen in Rosenmuller.

When he ascended up on high – The whole of this verse, as it stands in the psalm, seems to refer to a military triumph. Take the following paraphrase: Thou hast ascended on high: the conqueror was placed in a very elevated chariot. Thou hast led captivity captive: the conquered kings and generals were usually bound behind the chariot of the conqueror, to grace the triumph. Thou host received gifts for (Paul, given gifts unto) men: at such times the conqueror was wont to throw money among the crowd. Even to the rebellious: those who had fought against him now submit unto him, and share his munificence; for it is the property of a hero to be generous. That the Lord God might dwell among them: the conqueror being now come to fix his abode in the conquered provinces, and subdue the people to his laws.

All this the apostle applies to the resurrection, ascension, and glory of Christ; though it has been doubted by some learned men whether the psalmist had this in view. I shall not dispute about this; it is enough for me that the apostle, under the inspiration of God, applied the verse in this way; and whatever David might intend, and of whatever event he might have written, we see plainly that the sense in which the apostle uses it was the sense of the Spirit of God; for the Spirit in the Old and New Testaments is the same. I may venture a short criticism on a few words in the original: Thou hast received gifts for men,  lakachta mattanoth baadam, thou hast taken gifts in man, in Adam. The gifts which Jesus Christ distributes to man he has received in man, in and by virtue of his incarnation; and it is in consequence of his being made man that it may be said, The Lord God dwells among them; for Jesus was called Immanuel, God with us, in consequence of his incarnation. This view of the subject is consistent with the whole economy of grace, and suits well with the apostle’s application of the words of the psalmist in this place.

Now notice what Gifts Yehshua gave out; this is what Paul is speaking about

Eph 4:11 And He Himself gave some as emissaries, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as shepherds and teachers 12 for the perfecting of the set-apart ones, to the work of service to a building up of the body of the Messiah, 13 until we all come to the unity of the belief and of the knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the completeness of Messiah,

Psa 68:18 You have ascended on high, You have led captivity captive, You have received gifts among men, And even the rebellious, That Yah Elohim might dwell there. 19 Blessed be Yehovah, Day by day He bears our burden, The El of our deliverance! Selah. 20 Our El is the El of deliverance; And to Yehovah, the Master, belong escapes from death.

Yehshua Himself refers to the barley offering when He says in Joh 12:23

And Yehshua answered them, saying, “The hour has come for the Son of Adam to be esteemed. 24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit. 25 “He who loves his life shall lose it, and he who hates his life in this world shall preserve it for everlasting life.

Yehshua was our wave offering that died and then came out of the grave and led a host of captives, including that one thief on the tree; that is a host of those who had died and were dead.

Read now Mat 27:50

And Yehshua cried out again with a loud voice, and gave up His spirit. 51 And see, the veil of the Dwelling Place was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth was shaken, and the rocks were split, 52 and the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the set-apart ones who had fallen asleep were raised, 53 and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection, they went into the set-apart city and appeared to many.

When Yehshua died the graves were marked just like the Barley is marked off the first night of Passover. When Yehshua rose from the grave, three days and three night later, at the end of Shabbat, these people who were in those marked graves came back to life and walked into Jerusalem and this is the exact same time the barley is harvested on the Saturday evening after sunset. It is then prepared for the offering the next morning at 9 AM.

This is the barley offering, the wave offering in real life. This is what it all means. The Barley being presented represented the rest of the harvest that was to come. In reality those Saints who rose from the grave with Yehshua went to heaven. They were the first ones to come out of the grave and go to heaven as Yehshua had said no one else had gone except the son of man who comes down from heaven. This is why this so amazing and so awesome.

But there is more. There is another wave offering which begins with this Barley wave offering. It is the wave offering done at Pentecost. You will have to wait until then to hear the rest of this story. What an awesome time that will be as this time of Pentecost is speaking about those of us who are alive at that time and all of those who have died and were obedient to the torah and died from this time when Yehshua came out of the grave up until this very special time of this coming Pentecost day.

Now understand what Paul was talking about.

1 Cor 15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
“O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Matthew 24:31 And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

1 Corinthians 15:23 But each in his own turn: Christ the firstfruits; then at His coming, those who belong to Him.

1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.

We are to count from this great event, when Yehshua took all those who had died before His resurrection and raised them up and took them to heaven with Him as this Barley offering, up to the next time when Yehovah will wake those of us who have fallen asleep since this time in 31 C.E. up until that coming in 2033 I believe. We are to count the omer in like manner as though we are counting down the time to when we will be changed or raised up.

We are to count to Pentecost when this great trump will occur. Many assume this trumpet blast is in reference to the Feast of Trumpets. But they forget about the first Feast of Shavuot when Yehovah descended on the mountain.

Exodus 19:16 Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice. Then the Lord came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

This Wave Sheaf day is so exciting to understand and so amazing to believe because it forebodes the time when we will be changed and raised up. If you want to call this the Rapture then I can except that if you are obeying Yehovah. If your not obeying Yehovah and you think the laws are done away with then you will not be in this resurrection or rapture. You will be told to be gone you workers of lawlessness, I never knew you.

We will speak more about this as Pentecost draws closer. The Feast of Oaths, the 8th day and the Jubilee year.

When you count from the Wave offering of the barley to Pentecost it is called the counting of the Omer. You are to count each day up to the 50th day. This Sunday April 16, 2017 is day one. We are to count the Omer. Here is one way that it is done for the first week.

During each of these days Jewish tradition has developed around reading the psalms on certain days. In past years I found this very beneficial and I will do the same this year. It is customary that following the counting of the omer, one recites Psalm 67, for according to tradition that psalm has forty nine words, corresponding to the days of the omer.

And as you do these readings and this counting, keep in mind what this also symbolizes. It is the counting of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years and where we are in that cycle. We are in the 22nd year which corresponds to the 22nd day of counting the Omer.

As I said, this is the most special time of year for me and in years past I couldn’t put my finger on exactly why, other than it had something to do with Yehshua’s resurrection and waiting in anticipation for Shavuot. While I cannot put into words how my understanding of this has grown, all I can say is that “it clicked!” and “now I get it!”, at least more than before. Understanding follows obedience. So OBEY and learn.

All 50 days and the Psalms can be found at the back of our book Remembering the Sabbatical year of 2016

Food Crisis & the Coming Famine

I am preparing to leave for Israel as I work on this. I will be there as you read this. The following are just the headlines from around the world after Russia invaded  Ukraine. I want you to look at them and ponder what is taking place right in front of you. Right in front of the world.

For 15 years we have been warning you about 2020. We have been warning you about the plagues that lined up with each Sabbatical Cycle. Many of you get pissed at me for doing so. You get upset at me for trashing your idols that you hold on to.

Yehovah told Moses that in the last days He would send someone like Moses who if you did not listen to him, you would be destroyed. Many assume that person to be Jesus and just do not get it.

Deu 18:15  Jehovah your God will raise up to you a Prophet from the midst of you, of your brothers, One like me. To Him you shall listen,

Deu 18:16  according to all that you desired of Jehovah your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying: Let me not hear again the voice of Jehovah my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, so that I do not die.

Deu 18:17  And Jehovah said to me, They have spoken well what they have spoken.

Deu 18:18  I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brothers, one like you, and will put My words in His mouth. And He shall speak to them all that I shall command Him.

Deu 18:19  And it shall happen, whatever man will not listen to My Words which He shall speak in My name, I will require it of him.

Deu 18:20  But the prophet who shall presume to speak a word in My name which I have not commanded him to speak or who shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.

Deu 18:21  And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which Jehovah has not spoken?

Deu 18:22  When a prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah, if the thing does not follow nor come to pass, that is the thing which Jehovah has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You shall not be afraid of him.

Have I led you astray to worship other gods or to walk away from Yehovah? No!

Have I told you repeatedly to OBEY Yehovah and keep His Torah? Yes!

Starting in 2020, even starting before that we had wildfires sweep Australia and then the rest of the world. No sooner had this ended then we got hit with COVID which has just now had all the restrictions lifted. Just as the world was thinking it was about to get back to normal, then Russia invaded Ukraine and the prices of gas has rocketed to the moon. Now the price of everything has gone crazy.

Let me remind you of what Leviticus says.

Lev 26:23  And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;

Lev 26:24  then I will walk contrary to you and will punish you seven times more for your sins.

Lev 26:25  And I will bring a sword on you that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant. And when you are gathered inside your cities, I will send the plague among you. And you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

Lev 26:26  When I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight. And you shall eat and not be satisfied.

Lev 26:27  And if you will not for all of this listen to Me, but will walk contrary to Me,

Lev 26:28  then I will walk contrary to you also in fury. And I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

Lev 26:29  And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters you shall eat.

Sword Plague and Famine. That is what we are told to be looking for in the 4th Sabbatical Cycle. This year of 2022 is in the 4th Sabbatical Cycle of this curse.

And world events are happening just as we warned you they would in this Sabbatical Cycle leading you into the 5th one of Captivity.

It is time to get to work together to prepare for what is coming and hide or you can deny what we have been saying since 2005 and think everything will carry on as usual. You get to choose.

So read the headlines I found with just simple research this week and consider what you should be doing.

Farmer to Tucker Carlson

Are Americans ready for their grocery bill to possibly go up a $1000 dollars a month?
Tucker Carlson was caught off guard and had to make sure what he heard was correct.
American farmers indeed are feeling the pinch right now, but yet it is set to get much worse, especially if more countries follow Hungary’s lead.

Corn and soybean farmer Ben Riensche said on ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ on Wednesday to expect to see a spike in your grocery bill due to the increase in price of fertilizer after Russian sanctions.

“It’s embarrassing how little most people know about fertilizer, what it means, tell us the implications of this sanction?” Carlson asked.

“Soaring fertilizer prices are likely to spike food prices,” Riensche said. “If you’re upset that gas is up a dollar or two a gallon, wait until your grocery bill is up $1000 a month. And it may not manifest itself in terms of price, it could be quantity as well. Empty shelf syndrome must just be starting.”

“I’m sorry, I just wanted to make sure I heard you correctly. Up $1000 a month?” an incredulous Carlson asked.

“Sure,” Riensche responded. “The price of growing my crops, or the major crops, corn, soybeans, wheat, rice, cotton are up 30 to 40%. They are on my farm. And most of it is fertilizer. Nitrogen prices are up 3 times from the left crop we put in. Phosphorous and potassium have doubled.”

“The planting season in the northern hemisphere is just weeks away. There is no miracle technology that can cut that in a half or a third,” he said.

Please keep an eye on this type of news over the next few weeks, as more countries might start announcing that they are not going to export any of their grains going forward.
If and or when this happens, countless countries around the world are going to be in a very dire situation.

Putin’s Energy Shock is Becoming a World Food Crisis. Brace for Rationing

The world was facing a grain supply crunch even before Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

The United Nations food price index was already higher in real terms than at the height of the global hunger crisis a decade ago, when Tunisian bread protests set off the Arab Spring.

The tight global market for grains, vegetable oil and fertilisers was probably one of the many reasons that Putin chose this moment to strike, calculating – wrongly it may prove – that the West would not dare to squeeze him too hard.

The world faces what amounts to a commodity “black swan” across the gamut of primary resources. Oil, gas, coal and the “ags” are all spiralling higher together, with metals catching up fast. It is a systemic stagflation shock, an intractable problem for central bankers. It acts like a war reparations tax on the economies of importing nations and is ultimately contractionary.

Natasha Kaneva, from JP Morgan, said inventories of tradable commodities are critically low and the world is running out of safety buffers. This is a recipe for “non-linear price increases”, she said.

Unlike the West, China is prepared. It has been stocking up for months and holds 84 per cent of the world’s copper, 70 per cent of its corn and 51 per cent of its wheat. “China has bought enormous quantities of US soy in recent weeks,” said Rabobank. One might ask if Xi Jinping knew something in advance.

Record food commodity prices are an ordeal by fire for some 45 poorer countries that rely heavily on food imports: the Maghreb, the non-oil Middle East, swathes of Africa, Bangladesh or Afghanistan. The World Food Programme warned of “catastrophic” scarcity for several hundred million people last November. The picture is worse today.

“Everything is going up vertically. The whole production chain for food is under pressure from every side,” said Abdolreza Abbassian, the ex-head of agro-markets at the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organisation.

Russia to suspend grain exports to Eurasian Economic Union until Aug 31

March 10 (Reuters) – Russia will suspend exports of wheat, meslin, rye, barley and corn to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) until Aug 31 in a move to secure its home market with enough food, the economy ministry said on Thursday.

Pakistan government urged to ban wheat export amid Ukraine-Russia crisis

Karachi, March 9

Agricultural experts of Pakistan have called upon the government to impose a ban on wheat exports of local grains amid serious repercussion of the Russia-Ukraine war, which will disrupt the supply of wheat in the international market.

A farmer’s lobby group, Sindh Abadgar Board, has suggested the government to maintain wheat stocks through procurement during the on-going harvest and put a stop to wheat exports.

It should be noted that Ukraine is the third largest exporter of wheat, holding at least 12 per cent share in the global export market for the staple grain.

“The war in Ukraine will push the prices higher and opportunists might sell off the food security to fill their coffers”, stated the Sindh Abadgar board.

The board also warned the government against illegal smuggling of grain to the neighboring country.

“Wheat harvest has started in Sindh and the government needed to prevent smuggling of the crops to the foreign lands”, stated a press release issued by the board.

“The government should ensure that the stocks remained within the country and that every effort is made to keep the strategic reserves”, the press release added.

    Hi Joe,

Please help, does the Barley need to be Aviv BEFORE the new moon/month or “IN” the new moon/month that started, in other words, is the barley ALREADY “green in the ear” by the new moon/month by that we know it is the month of Aviv to have the Pesach on the 14th or do we start the new moon/month and wait for the barley to BECOME “green in the ear” in the FIRST 12/13 days so that we can have the Pesach on the 14th of Aviv??
Hopefully you understand what I’m trying to ask.
    Shabbat Shalom from South Africa

Please note that Joshua 5:11 does not refer to “stored grain of the land”, but to “produce of the land”.

I personally favour Michael Rood’s 70 week ministry of Yeshua and see this as the acceptable year of the Lord in alignment with the sabbatical year. I don’t see how you can be sure when the month began in the past as the moon must always be sighted and not calculated and this is the whole premise of your website??

Anyhow I would not want to make it a point of contention. Just surprised.

I had a dream last night that none of the supermarkets were letting anybody in and they wouldn’t say why. It was night. Then I realised that there was no food. Probably just a coincidental dream after seeing this newsletters headline but you never know.

    Shabbat Shalom!

I’m not trying to condone anyone’s position but, I am pretty sure that Michael Rood’s 70-week timeline of Yeshua’s ministry begins on the 28th of January of the year 27CE. This starting date would allow 70 weeks for His ministry and also allow for a Wednesday afternoon crucifixion on Passover in 28CE, considering this year had an Adar Bet.

When Yeshua read from the scroll of Isaiah in Luke 4:16, why does the “acceptable year of the YHVH” have to be interpreted as a jubilee or sabbatical year? Why can’t it be referring to Yeshua’s final year leading up to His crucifixion?

John 6:4 is crucial to Mr. Rood’s understanding. He maintains it is not legitimate. .And was added to pad out the Ministry to the usual 3.5 years commonly thought historical.

Fred, that’s true. Now that the gospels in the original Hebrew are coming out, we are learning more and more of what was added, deleted, and manipulated. It’s pretty hard for some people to accept.

    Joe, et al.,

There are many things to think about and consider in a number of issues raised here. Not just those in the body of the teaching but also in the comments.

First, let’s take the issue of Yeshua teaching for 70 weeks. Even if you add an Adar Bet month in the mix, John Chapter 2 pretty clearly, factually, states Yeshua began His ministry during the week of Passover/Unleavened Bread. One can hardly consider His time in the wilderness for 40 days, by Himself, as a time of ministry and John Chapter 1 presents us with the happenings upon His coming out of the wilderness. My opinion is He likely came out of the wilderness on the first day of the new year. I believe it is a real stretch to count the final 40 days of being with His disciples after rising from the dead as a time of ministry also. Yet it can be included and still not equal 70 weeks.

Many do not realize all the other gospels start with Yeshua returning to the Galilee region after the events of John 1-4:43. John 4:54 tells us the healing of the nobleman’s son was the 2nd sign Yeshua did (in Galilee) when He returned after being in Judea for Passover and then at the Jorden where His disciples, likely only about 4 possibly 5 of them, were baptizing along with the remaining disciples of John the Baptist. He stopped in Samaria on His way back to the Galilee weeks later. The first miracle in Galilee was turning the water into wine, mentioned in John 4:46.

John 4:45 informs the readers that the Galileans had also gone to Passover and “saw” all the things He did at the Feast (John 2). These “things” are why Nicodemus made the statement, “Rabbi, we know that you have come from God as a teacher, for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with Him.”

The simplicity of understanding Yeshua began His ministry at Passover and ended it at Passover clearly indicates His ministry was either one year or two years. He wasn’t intending on beginning His ministry by turning water into wine. This is easily seen from His comments to His mother. However, it does appear as if His Father may have given Him a test to see if He would submit to her authority, which He did. Also, a wedding is the expressed point of why He came to earth to be a sacrificial Lamb in the first place! How fitting this situation would be where He performs His first miracle!!

Note there is no mention of disciples in the event at the pool of Bethesda (John 5:1-16). This probably occurred during Shavuot, considering the setting. Why do you think John found it important to mention the man had been there for 38 years and then Yeshua later said to him, “Behold, you have become well: do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse may befall you”? What other generation had to suffer God’s judgment for 38 years? Every word is important! A prophet like unto Moses.

Now to the declaring of the first of the year: I’ve been following this process for only the past 8 years. Nothing is perfectly clear. We do the best we can and try to learn from mistakes we make. That is what being “meek” is all about.

We should understand there are real life issues in following a lunar calendar when dates move about 11 days each year and it takes about 3 years to get back to approximately the same place using an Adar Bet month. I’m not going to go into it now, but I will say, I had a lot more confidence about the call last year than I had about the call this year. It seems to me the Jorden area might be the area that should be checked first to make such a call.

Remember, the first fruit barley is also supposed to be able to be used for making 12 loaves of bread, at least for the first and likely the second week, and for sustaining the priesthood until the time of the next festival, Shavuot, when the wheat harvest would have come in. Some may have come during this 50 day or so period but it was not commanded. If the new year is called too early, only a very few are actually bringing barley to Jerusalem. If it is called too late and it can’t be harvested prior to Wave Sheaf Day, then most of it will be on the ground. Yeshua said, “I will have mercy and not sacrifice.” Does this apply here?

In addition, 2000 years ago, some had to travel for days to reach Jerusalem. If it wasn’t known until 3-4 days before Passover, and it was commanded to be at Passover, and barley had to be in a state to be offered, how would those people make it to Jerusalem in time to keep Passover? There is a period of time needed to prepare for Passover once Jerusalem is reached. God did not command the priests to cut ripe barley. He commanded each Israelite to come without empty hands.

Hard questions and perhaps tougher answers. I’m glad you present me with opportunities to need to mull things over!!

    Shalom,
    Jim
