Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

The Houston Flood

I first spoke in Houston Texas in March 2008. I would later speak again in Abilene Texas in I think 2010. I remember the people listened but many dismissed the curses I was showing them because the Sabbatical years were to be kept only in Israel. Not the rest of the world.

Many people want to think that they are already good. Messianic say the world needs to change but we are already going to church and we now keep the Sabbath and the Holy Days they say. But no we are not going to keep the Sabbatical years. That is only for when you’re in Israel they say.

Hurricane Harvey will be blamed on Global Warming and they will use this event to get the USA to join the Paris Treaty on Global Warming. But none of them will look at this event as a curse from Yehovah because they are good people. This is, after all, called the Bible Belt for a reason.

Yet, Lev. 26 tells you the curses you will receive when you do not keep the Sabbatical and Jubilee years.

They say this flooding of Houston is once in 500 years type flood. They were talking about the amount of rain in feet and not in inches. They got near 4 feet of rain. Some are saying it is Biblical in the amount of flooding that has gone through so many neighborhoods.

When asked to compare this storm to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, FEMA Director Brock Long referred to Harvey as a “landmark event” that the United States has not seen yet. When asked if the Federal Emergency Management Agency was prepared to stay in Southeast Texas for months, Director Long responded by saying FEMA would be there for years.

The city of Houston has been particularly hard-hit by this catastrophic deluge. “I think people were used to flooding in Houston when they get two to three inches of rain, but nobody comprehended what two to three feet of rain could do,” said one CNN meteorologist. “This is truly historic, so people were caught off guard.” First responders have been overwhelmed with more than 2,000 calls for help. Houston’s mayor said that some 911 calls were not being answered so that operators might “give preference to life-threatening calls.”

The New York Times wrote earlier today that the “APOCALYPTIC onslaught of pounding rains and rapidly rising floodwaters [has] brought the nation’s fourth-largest city to its knees” (emphasis added throughout).

You know it’s bad when media outlets use biblical language to describe the catastrophe. I just wish more commentators would actually open the Bible to see what it has to say about these increasingly frequent and intensifying “natural” disasters!

We see so many in North America suffering from floods or wildfires. Drought and rain at the same time in various parts of the countries. And they wonder why this is happening to them. They are good people.

Deut 31:19-21 “Now therefore, write down this song for yourselves, and teach it to the children of Israel; put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for Me against the children of Israel. When I have brought them to the land flowing with milk and honey, of which I swore to their fathers, and they have eaten and filled themselves and grown fat, then they will turn to other gods and serve them; and they will provoke Me and break My covenant. Then it shall be, when many evils and troubles have come upon them, that this song will testify against them as a witness; for it will not be forgotten in the mouths of their descendants, for I know the inclination of their behavior today, even before I have brought them to the land of which I swore to give them.”

Deut 32:13-20 “He made him ride in the heights of the earth, That he might eat the produce of the fields; He made him draw honey from the rock, And oil from the flinty rock; Curds from the cattle, and milk of the flock, With fat of lambs; And rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, With the choicest wheat; And you drank wine, the blood of the grapes. “But Jeshurun grew fat and kicked; You grew fat, you grew thick,
You are obese! Then he forsook God who made him, And scornfully esteemed the Rock of his salvation. They provoked Him to jealousy with foreign gods; With abominations they provoked Him to anger.
They sacrificed to demons, not to God, To gods they did not know, To new gods, new arrivals That your fathers did not fear. Of the Rock who begot you, you are unmindful, And have forgotten the God who fathered you. “And when the Lord saw it, He spurned them, Because of the provocation of His sons and His daughters. And He said: “I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end will be, For they are a perverse generation, Children in whom is no faith.

Most people will have lost everything to water damage. They will not be able to go home because of the mold for weeks and months.

Isaiah 1:15 When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.

:28 The destruction of transgressors and of sinners shall be together, And those who forsake the Lord shall be consumed.

John 9:31 Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.

Job 27:9 “Will God hear his cry When distress comes upon him?

Job 35:13 “Surely God will not listen to an empty cry, Nor will the Almighty regard it.

Jeremiah 11:11 Therefore thus says the LORD, “Behold I am bringing disaster on them which they will not be able to escape; though they will cry to Me, yet I will not listen to them.

Zechariah 7:12 “They made their hearts like flint so that they could not hear the law and the words which the LORD of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets; therefore great wrath came from the LORD of hosts. 13″And just as He called and they would not listen, so they called and I would not listen,” says the LORD of hosts; 14″but I scattered them with a storm wind among all the nations whom they have not known.

The Call of Wisdom

Proverbs 1:20-33 Wisdom calls aloud outside; She raises her voice in the open squares. She cries out in the chief concourses, At the openings of the gates in the city She speaks her words: “How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge. Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you. Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded, Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. “Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me. Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the Lord, They would have none of my counsel  And despised my every rebuke. Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, And be filled to the full with their own fancies. For the turning away of the simple will slay them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them; But whoever listens to me will dwell safely,
And will be secure, without fear of evil.”

I have just gotten home from our trip to Africa. And was going to post this as soon as I got home. But there is a lot going on right now. The USA is dealing with the after-effects of Hurrican Harvey in the Houston area. Brethren too are affected. And now Hurricane Irma has grown to a Cat 5 beast bearing down on the Carribean Islands and by this weekend Florida.

Then on Sunday this weekend, North Korea tested an H-bomb on Sunday and claimed the weapon is more than five times more powerful than the bomb detonated over Hiroshima.

And today, Tuesday as I get home, it was revealed the regime has been spotted moving yet another Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) towards the western coast. According to the Experts this missile has the potential to reach New York City.

“It is time for the war hawks of the US to acknowledge again that its whole mainland and the operational area in the Pacific are within the annihilating and merciless nuclear fist of the powerful Paektusan revolutionary army.

“If they persist on extremely dangerous war drills around the Korean peninsula and provoke a nuclear war on this land, the powerful Paektusan revolutionary army will annihilate the source of aggression and evil on the earth with the nuclear strategic force consolidated with the great line of simultaneously developing the two fronts.”

Again I have to go to the scripture in Genesis. The archers are the Missile launchers of his day. Today they are the ICBM’s that are on the news. And they are shot at Joseph. They are shot at the USA.

Gen 49:22-23 “Joseph is a fruitful bough, A fruitful bough by a well; His branches run over the wall. The archers have bitterly grieved him, Shot at him and hated him.

This word grieved him is;

H4843   ma^rar    maw-rar’

A primitive root; properly to trickle (see H4752); but used only as a denominative from H4751; to be (causatively make) bitter (literally or figuratively): – (be, be in, deal, have, make) bitter (-ly, -ness), be moved with choler, (be, have sorely, it) grieved (-eth), provoke, vex.

We are in the 4th Sabbatical cycle of war. The same cycle we have been warning you about since 2005. Now this time is here and upon us. We all need to get close to Yehovah. and to get a plan of action ready.

In the Mail this week

A few weeks ago we had our article showing the connection between the LGBT PRide PArades and the natural disasters that were occurring there after wards. We were making the connection between the pride parade and the Wild Fires. Now read what Mike has said about the Houston Apololypitiic flood.

First off:  I know that you are busy with the Africa trip, and that is probably all that is on your mind right now – please know that there are and will be many prayers on your all’s behalf.  May Yehovah do his will through his servants on this trip.

I just wanted to send you a quick email (with a few links
I’ll restrain myself to only a few) in response to your Blessings and Curses newsletter on July 27 where after the information about the good work in Africa, you included many pictures of the before and after effects of the cities with the [LGBTQxyz] “pride” abomination festivals.  On the news here in the United States, the exclusive weather news channels are streaming KHOU news about the hurricane that landed in Corpus Christi and has hovered over Houston, Texas.

What KHOU has not been airing is their extensive coverage of the “Pride Festival” that they recently had with thousands in attendance:

Thousands celebrate at Houston Pride Festival – KHOU

Or, that the downtown of the city was decorated for the first time with those “Rainbow Banners” (for the 40th anniversary of this “celebration”):

PRIDE HOUSTONÂź HISTORIC LGBT FLAGS WILL HANG IN DOWNTOWN HOUSTON FOR PRIDE CELEBRATION

https://pridehouston.org/pride-news/houston-leads-the-way/banner-district/

They also do not mention Corpus Christi’s [LGBTQxyz] “pride” group down there was happy about their turnout before the hurricane:

Quote:  “Pride Downtown 2017 was an enormous success” then, they thank “the entire Corpus Christi community”

http://pridedowntowncc.com/

Nope, KHOU news does not mention any of that “pride” now – but, they do have a 24/7 live stream on the hurricane Harvey:

Oh Holy Night

I would like you to listen to this version of Oh Holy Night as we approach The Feast of Trumpets.

And then I would like you to listen to this version of What Child is This.

Each year when Christmas comes around many of us refuse to get involved because we understand the real meaning of this time of year that the world keeps at December 25th. But, in so doing we often neglect to celebrate the true birth of Yehshua and all that took place around that time. Yehshua was born on the Feast of Yom Teruah. This is the reason we now have party horns to blow on our birthdays today. Some people (I was once one of them, but not now) have taken a church teaching and no longer keep birthdays. They do this on the basis that every time a birthday is mentioned in the bible people die.

Nowhere in the Bible is it stated that observing birthdays is wrong. Those who do say it is wrong use four predominant lines of reasoning to prevent their flocks celebrating birthdays:

  1. People died at the two birthdays mentioned in the Bible
  2. Day of death better than birth – undue honour
  3. Not celebrated by Jews or Christians
  4. Pagan

When presented together, these may appear to provide solid defense against birthdays. However, when deconstructed each point shows poor logic.

This is based on comments such as the following:

“The Bible reports only two birthday celebrations, both of persons who were not servants of the true God. The first was that of Pharaoh of Egypt. It was marked by the hanging of Pharaoh’s baker, who had been in prison with Joseph.
The second, some 1,800 years later, was the birthday of Herod Antipas [during which the daughter of Herodias asked for] ‘The head of John the baptizer.’
Is it just coincidental that they are mentioned and that both were for persons not having God’s approval? Or could it be that Jehovah deliberately had these details recorded in his Word, which he says is “beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight”?”

LUKE
Chapter 1
Dedication to Theophilus

Inasmuch as many have taken in hand to set in order a narrative of those things which have been fulfilled among us, just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word delivered them to us, it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write to you an orderly account, most excellent Theophilus, that you may know the certainty of those things in which you were instructed.

John’s Birth Announced to Zacharias

There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.

So it was, that while he was serving as priest before God in the order of his division, according to the custom of the priesthood, his lot fell to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. And the whole multitude of the people was praying outside at the hour of incense. Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense. And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.

But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb. And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

And Zacharias said to the angel, “How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.”

And the angel answered and said to him, “I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings. But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time.”There is also the story of Molech and his birthday on December 25 the winter solstice. This is another proof not to keep birthdays.

Coming from the Churches of God I was one who would not keep birthdays. I regret this now for my family’s sake. I was just ignorant of all the facts. Don’t you be so ignorant also.

Nehemiah Gordon writes that most Jews have no clue what the meaning of the Blowing of Trumpets is about.

One of the unique things about Yom Teruah is that the Torah does not say what the purpose of this holy day is. The Torah gives at least one reason for all the other holy days and two reasons for some. The Feast of Matzot (Unleavened Bread) commemorates the Exodus from Egypt, but it is also a celebration of the beginning of the barley harvest (Exodus 23:15; Leviticus 23:4–14). The Feast of Shavuot (Weeks) is a celebration of the wheat harvest (Exodus 23:16; 34:22). Yom Ha-Kippurim is a national day of atonement as described in great detail in Leviticus 16. Finally, the Feast of Sukkot (Booths) commemorates the wandering of the Israelites in the desert and is also a celebration of the ingathering of agricultural produce (Exodus 23:16). In contrast to all these Torah festivals, Yom Teruah has no clear purpose other than that we are commended to rest on this day.

Many Messed up Messianic are now believing that Yehshua was born at Sukkot because of the faulty logic that He must have been circumcised on the 8th day. And that is the end of their research. Again do not be ignorant of the truth. Search all things.

This week I want to share what is normally called the Christmas story. It is not the Christmas story but it is the birth of the Messiah Yehshua. Yehovah would not send His son on just any old day. And most of you have never heard the whole story before. We are just weeks away from this momentous event in the lives of mankind. Do you not think you should know it, so you can teach your kids and grandchildren the truth? Now you can.

Let us now read with our children about the birth of Yehshua. Note that they took Yehshua up to the Temple after her impurity was over.

..and the mold after the flood is worse than the flood…it can stay for YEARS…it is a curse from YHWH-Leviticus 14-and can cause lifelong illness-and then comes the smell- the horrible smell after a major flood…
