Moses is Illuminated after 40 Days

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom Royal Family of Yehovah,

We have begun something new. Instead of scrolling through the entire Newsletter, we have now set up tabs on the left-hand side. You can click on the section you are interested in and go directly there. Please let us know in the comments if you like it or have another suggestion.

Third Year Tithe

Third Year Tithe

I want to remind and ask you all, have you remembered the widows and the orphans this year thus far? We are now in the 5th month. Many of you have supported this cause and I want to thank you on their behalf. I will keep reminding you about this responsibility for the entirety of this year. But this year does not end until Aviv, 2023. So we are not yet halfway.

2022 is the 6th year of the 4th Sabbatical cycle. And anyone who has been reading our website for any time will know how to prove beyond all doubt when the Sabbatical and Jubilee years are. Once you have done that then you will know when the 3rd and the 6th year of the Sabbatical Cycles are. We are told to raise a tithe every third year for the widow, the orphan and the Levite in your gates.

Here is a very severe warning from Yehovah to each of us.

Exo 22:21ย ย You shall neither vex a stranger nor oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.ย You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child.ย If you afflict them in any way, and they cry at all to Me, I will surely hear their cry.ย And My wrath shall become hot, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall be widows, and your sons fatherless.

We have now sent out ย (as of June 20, 2022) ย our 4th round of gift offerings that you have sent in for the widows and orphans. We have also supported a couple of other ministries that aid us in doing this work. This will fulfill the Levite part of the commandment. It was our desire to get the funds to them as we are told to do in Deuteronomy.

Deu 14:28ย ย At the end of three years you shall bring forth all the tithe of your increase the same year, and shall lay it up inside your gates.

Deu 14:29ย ย And the Levite, because he has no part nor inheritance with you, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are inside your gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied, so that Jehovah your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

We will soon be making another gift to them. If you do not know of anyone in the faith who is a widow or orphan then you can send it to us. Make sure you write me to let me know that those funds are for the widows and I will see to it they get it. But if you do not write me then I will not know where to apply your donation.

May each one of you who has given to this cause, be blessed as Boaz was blessed by Yehovah for his generosity. May each oneย ofย you be known for your support of the laws that will make the Kingdom of Yehovah strong and righteous. And may Yehovah bless you so that what you give is never missed and you never lack for your generosity towards Yehovahโ€™s heart.

The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033

ย
There are many people who kept Pentecost Sunday last weekend. Some are doing so this weekened June 12. Are you aware of the deep meaning of this day? If you did you would not be wondering when the Rapture would be. You would know for sure.
Come let us show you the deep meaning behind this Holy Day and how the understanding of it is revealing so many other truths. Order the book today and begin to learn these things right away.

The Riddle Rapture Book Offer

ย
Once you understand the Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles then you will begin to understand prophecy unlike you have ever understood before. When is the Messiah coming? When is the Rapture?
ย
Jesus spoke in parables so that those who would not obey would not understand. If you do not know when the time of HIs coming is, and when the Saints will be raised or changed in a twinkling of an eye, then maybe, just maybe you are one of those who will not obey.
Those who do obey know. Order both books today and begin to understand unlike you have dreamed of before. Order them both now.
Here is what one person wrote who read the book.
ย
I love the enormous amount of Scripture the author uses in teaching and making a point. Taking a single verse out of context can totally skew the understanding (case in point, Psalm 10:4 and 14:1 both say that there is no God). Instead of leading his readers to his belief system, Mr Dumond lets the Bible lead the way! He just connects the dots.
ย
There were so many Bible verses I never understood, despite many years of Sunday School and Bible studies. Many actually seemed to contradict each other. Once I learned that the Bible uses idioms it made such a difference in my understanding. In English we say things like โ€œkilling timeโ€ or โ€œkicking the bucketโ€ and recognize that they express something other then the sum of the individual words. Turns out that Hebrew (the language the Creator chose to record His words) uses many idioms also. Recognizing what they mean opened up my understanding!
Iโ€™m about to go thru this book a 2nd time as there is SO much I didnโ€™t get it all the first time!
Order your copy today. Start to read it right now.

THE MARK OF THE BEAST –ย FREE

ย
Like many of you, I have read so many different ideas as to what the โ€œMark of the Beastโ€ is. This โ€œMarkโ€ has been said to be the social security cards, or credit cards, then it was thought to be the barcode system, which is largely how we all shop today, but this ISNโ€™T even on our hands or foreheads as the scriptures state! Then it was the RFID chip planted in our hands that caused an uproar.
Our Bibles explain this if we would just read it. Let me explain this to you. This is FREE.

The Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles reveal End-Time Prophecy

By understanding the Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles, you can know when the 7th Millennium will begin. You can also know when the Rapture will be. When the Messiah is going to come.
ย
It is the only way you can understand the Daniel 9 prophecy. Because of this, we were the only Ministry warning you about 2020. We have been shouting out that WAR would start, famines would start, and Plagues would start in 2020 and in this 4th Sabbatical Cycle. We have entered the start of WW III; famines are on the Nightly News, and COVID has rocked the world.
ย
I am still shouting this warning, but the next curse is too unbearable to say. ย What is coming is so horrible that you do not want to know it. But it is coming non the less. Worldwide Drought, Worldwide Famine, and Genocide on an unimaginable scale.

Sabbath Meetings

Sabbath Meetings

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our YouTube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was โ€œtiedโ€, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, โ€œthus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his armsโ€.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are โ€œtiedโ€ to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means โ€œChampion of Godโ€, or better โ€” the โ€œWrestler of Godโ€.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teaches you and encourages you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to โ€œwrestle with the Wordโ€ to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where โ€œThe preacher talks and everyone listens.โ€ We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable of explaining why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFOโ€™s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5ย ย But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and itโ€™s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each otherโ€™s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath services begin at 12:30 PM EDT where we will be doing prayers songs and teaching from this hour.

Shabbat Services will begin at about 1:15 pm Eastern.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

Joseph Dumond is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Torah Portions

Torah Portions

We read through the entire Torah along with the Prophets and the New Testament, once over the course of 3 1/2 years. Or according to the Sabbatical Cycle which means we read it all twice over a 7 year period. This allows us to cover more in-depth rather than being rushed to cover as much as is covered on an annual basis. We allow all to comment and take part in the discussions.

Septennial Torah Portion

If you go to Torah Portion at our archived section, you can then go to the 6th year which is the 6th year of the Sabbatical Cycle, the one we are in now, as we state at the top of every News Letter. There you can scroll down to July 2, 2022, and see that this Shabbat we could very well be midrashing about:

Leviticus 11

Jeremiah 44-46

Proverbs 23

Acts 20

If you missed last weekโ€™s exciting discoveries as we studied that section you can go and watch past Shabbats on our media section.

Embassy: “All Americans Should LEAVE Ukraine Immediately” — U.S. Nuclear Bombs Being Moved! – GAZPROM Declares “Force Majeure”

WORLD HAL TURNER 18 JULY 2022 HITS: 36072

The United States Embassy in Kiev, Ukraine, has increased its Alert status and is now publicly advising all Americans to get out of Ukraine IMMEDIATELY.ย  All Embassy functions will be transferred to Lviv, in western Ukraine.

This seems to coincide with a report issued yesterday (HERE – Subscribers Only!) which outlined that an ULTIMATUM had been given to Kiev by Moscow.

This also seems to coincide with intelligence reports saying Ukraine plans to use new HIMARS MLRS to attack Crimea.

Crimea is Russian territory now.ย  ย Russia has previously stated that if U.S. long range weapons are used against “Russian territory” then Russia will declare the US an active combatant, and will take military action.

The US says that Crimea is “Ukrainian territory” and so the Ukrainians can use HIMARS against it.

Over the weekend, former President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev publicly spoke about possible Ukrainian attacks on Crimea, and said:ย “If something like this happens, Judgment Day will happen to all of them”

Overnight, the Russian Navy began moving several ships OUT of Crimea to their port at Novorossiysk.ย  The Russian Black Sea fleet pulled anchor and left Sevastopol, for the Kuban.ย  Clearly they suspect a missile attack on the port facilities. If this should happen, many observers think there will be war.

“FORCE MAJEURE”

This morning, Russian energy giant Gazprom declared force majeure on gas supplies to at least one major EU customer RETROACTOVE TO JUNE.

According to a document from inside the company, Gazprom tells a large client it cannot fulfil its supply obligations due to โ€œextraordinaryโ€ circumstances outside its control.

REUTERS News Agency now reports thatย its sources are saying that the letter was referring to supplies to Germany via the Nord Stream 1 pipeline.ย  The letter makes clear that GAZPROM cannot supply __any__ natural gas via Nord Stream One pipeline, until further notice.

The route is currently undergoing planned annual maintenance which is due to be completed on Thursday, however many in Germany fear that the flow will not be resumed.ย  Given today’s declaration of a “force majeure” it now appears certain that natural gas flows WILL NOT RESUME.

Without the flow of Russian natural gas, Germany and other European nations had to begin drawing-down on stored natural gas reserves in their countries as of July 11.ย  Those reserves are finite, and will run out.ย  ย Various countries in Europe have various amounts of gas in storage, but none of them have more than a few months worth.

As natural gas runs out, there won’t be gas to power the steam boilers in gas-fired electric generating plants.ย  No boilers means no steam.ย  IF there is no steam, that means nothing to turn the turbines.ย  No turbines means no electricity.

UPDATE 2:05 PM EDT — With regard to GAZPROM’s declaring a “force Majeure” this is now explicitly CONFIRMED.ย ย The company has thus decided to void itself from all contractual obligations. Gas will stop flowing to Germany through Nord Stream 1 indefinitely.

So right now, July 18, 2022, many differing issues are all coming to a head at about the same time.ย  If Ukraine attacks Crimea using U.S.-supplied HIMARS, then Russia may declare the US an active combatant and use military force against the US.

If Russia refuses to restore natural gas flows to Europe, then Europe will run out of natural gas, and its economy will utterly stop.

If Europe’s economy stops, then two weeks later, the US economy stops.

These are things that cause nations to go to actual war.

In that regard, Russia announced today it will be holding NUCLEAR ATTACK CIVILIAN EVACUATION DRILLS so its citizens can become accustomed to where they have to be in such a situation.

The Rise of BRICS: The economic giant that is taking on the West

July 12, 2022
Dr Ramzy Baroud

The G7 summit in Elmau, Germany, June 26-28, and the NATO summit in Madrid, Spain, two days later, were practically useless in terms of providing actual solutions to ongoing global crises โ€“ the war in Ukraine, the looming famines, climate change and more. But the two events were important, nonetheless, as they provide a stark example of the impotence of the West, amid the rapidly changing global dynamics.

As was the case since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, the West attempted to display unity, though it has become repeatedly obvious that no such unity exists. While France, Germany and Italy are paying a heavy price for the energy crisis resulting from the war, Britain’s Boris Johnson is adding fuel to the fire in the hope of making his country relevant on the global stage following the humiliation of Brexit. Meanwhile, the Biden Administration is exploiting the war to restoreWashington’s credibility and leadership over NATO โ€“ especially following the disastrous term of Donald Trump, which nearly broke up the historic alliance.

Even the fact that several African countries are becoming vulnerable to faminesย  โ€“ as a result of the disruption of food supplies originating from the Black Sea and the subsequent rising prices โ€“ did not seem to perturb the leaders of some of the richest countries in the world. They still insist on not interfering in the global food market, though the skyrocketing prices have already pushed tens of millions of people below the poverty line.

Though the West had little reserve of credibility to begin with, Western leaders’ current obsession with maintaining thousands of sanctions on Russia, further NATO expansion, dumping yet more ‘lethal weapons’ in Ukraine and sustaining their global hegemony at any cost, have all pushed their credibility standing to a new low.

From the start of the Ukraine war, the West championed the same ‘moral’ dilemma as that raised by George W. Bush at the start of his so-called ‘war on terror’. “You are either with us or with the terrorist,” he declared in September 2001. But the ongoing Russia-NATO conflict cannot be reduced to simple and self-serving cliches. One can, indeed, want an end to the war, and still oppose US-western unilateralism. The reason that American diktats worked in the past, however, is that, unlike the current geopolitical atmosphere, a few dared oppose Washington’s policies.

READ: Iran applies to join BRICS

Times have changed. Russia, China, India, along with many other countries in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America are navigating all available spaces to counter the suffocating western dominance. These countries have made it clear that they will not take part in isolating Russia in the service of NATO’s expansionist agenda. To the contrary, they have taken many steps to develop alternatives to the west-dominated global economy, and particularly to the US dollar which, for five decades, has served the role of a commodity, not a currency, per se. The latter has been Washington’s most effective weapon, associated with many US-orchestrated crises, sanctions and, as in the case of Iraq and Venezuela, among others, mass hunger.

China and others understand that the current conflict is not about Ukraine vs Russia, but about something far more consequential. If Washington and Europe emerge victorious, and if Moscow is pushed back behind the proverbial ‘iron curtain,’ Beijing would have no other options but to make painful concessions to the re-emerging west. This, in turn, would place a cap on China’s global economic growth, and would weaken its case regarding the One China policy.

China is not wrong. Almost immediately following NATO’s limitless military support of Ukraine and the subsequent economic war on Russia, Washington and its allies began threatening China over Taiwan. Many provocative statements, along with military maneuvers and high-level visits by US politicians to Taipei, were meant to underscore US dominance in the Pacific.

Two main reasons drove the West to further invest in the current confrontational approach against China, at a time where, arguably, it would have been more beneficial to exercise a degree of diplomacy and compromise. First, the West’s fear that Beijing could misinterpret its action as weakness and a form of appeasement; and, second, because the West’s historic relationship with China has always been predicated on intimidation, if not outright humiliation. From the Portuguese occupation of Macau in the 16th century, to the British Opium Wars of the mid-19th century, to Trump’s trade war on China, the West has always viewed China as a subject, not a partner.

This is precisely why Beijing did not join the chorus of western condemnations of Russia. Though the actual war in Ukraine is of no direct benefit to China, the geopolitical outcomes of the war could be critical to the future of China as a global power.

While NATO remains insistent on expansion so as to illustrate its durability and unity, it is the alternative world order led by Russia and China that is worthy of serious attention. According to the German Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Beijing and Moscow are working to further develop the BRICS club of major emerging economies to serve as a counterweight to the G7. The German paper is correct. BRICS’ latest summit on June 23 was designed as a message to the G7 that the West is no longer in the driving seat, and that Russia, China and the Global South are preparing for a long fight against Western dominance.

READ: The checkpoint between academic freedom and Israel needs to be lifted

In his speech at the BRICS summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed the creation of an “international reserve currency based on the basket of currencies of our countries”. The fact that the ruble alone has managed to survive, in fact flourish, under recent Western sanctions, gives hope that BRICS currencies combined can manage to eventually sideline the US dollar as the world dominant currency.

Reportedly, it was Chinese President Xi Jinping who requested that the date of the BRICS summit be changed from 4 Julyย  to 23 June, so that it would not appear to be a response to the G7 summit in Germany. This further underscores how the BRICS are beginning to see themselves as a direct competitor to the G7. The fact that Argentina and Iran are applying for BRICS membership also illustrates that the economic alliance is morphing into a political, in fact geopolitical, entity.

The global fight ahead is perhaps the most consequential since World War II. While NATO will continue to fight for relevance, Russia, China, and others will invest in various economic, political and even military infrastructures, in the hope of creating a permanent and sustainable counterbalance to Western dominance. The outcome of this conflict is likely to shape the future of humanity.

Iranโ€™s Full SCO Membership Expected to Be Finalized in 2023

ย

Iranโ€™s full membership of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, a transcontinental political, economic, and security alliance, is expected to be finalized by next year, according to reports citing officials.

A report in the Chinese daily Global Times, citing Iranโ€™s Embassy in Beijing, said after signing its first memorandum of obligations at the Samarkand summit in September, Iranโ€™s accession to the Eurasia-spanning organization will be finalized by April 2023.

โ€œBased on the decision of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the SCO Member States at the SCO summit in Samarkand [Uzbekistan] on September 15-16, 2022, it will be decided to instruct the Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to sign a Memorandum of Obligations of the Islamic Republic of Iran to obtain the status of a member state of the SCO,โ€ the embassy told the Chinese daily.

โ€œThe adoption by the SCO Heads of State Council of the decision on granting to the Islamic Republic of Iran the status of a member state of the SCO at the SCO summit [will be finalized] in 2023,โ€ the statement added.

The Eurasian political, economic and security alliance was formed in 2001 by Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan at a summit held in Shanghai.

China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, India, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are its current full members. Iran, Afghanistan, Belarus, and Mongolia are observer states.

The organization accounts for 40% of the worldโ€™s population and 28% of the global gross domestic product.

Earlier, Russian media outlet Sputnik reported that Iran is slated to join the SCO as a full member state this year, citing a foreign ministry statement of the organizationโ€™s rotating chair Uzbekistan.

Iran first applied for membership in the alliance 15 years ago. The approval of Iranโ€™s candidacy came at a summit in the Tajik capital of Dushanbe last September.

Addressing the summit, after the announcement, Iranโ€™s President Ebrahim Raisi said the world had entered a new era when hegemony and unilateralism were declining.

โ€œThe international order is shifting toward multilateralism and redistribution of power in favor of independent states,โ€ he said, adding that the SCO and its governing spirit of mutual trust, common interests, equality, mutual consultation, respect for cultural diversity and common development were key tools for maintaining peace in the 21st century.

Late last month, Tehran also officially applied to become a member of the BRICS group.

Good News, Then Bad News

โ€ข What the yearโ€™s first half might predict for the second half โ€” and the decade beyondโ€ฆ

โ€ข The Fed canโ€™t make things better, but it could make things worseโ€ฆ

โ€ข 2008 all over again, only worseโ€ฆ

Dear Reader,

How bad was the first half of 2022 for stocks? It was the worst first half since 1970, long before many of todayโ€™s investors were even born.

In the first six months of 2022, the S&P 500 was down 21%, the Dow Jones was down 15% and the Nasdaq Composite was down 30%. Thatโ€™s bear market territory for two of the three major indexes, with the Dow in correction territory and not far from the bear.

Those poor stock market results come alongside higher interest rates, higher inflation and much higher oil prices. Of course, if you have any exposure to the stock market, you know what youโ€™ve been through this year. I donโ€™t have to tell you.

But what you really want to know isโ€ฆ where do we go from here? It helps to have some valuable historical perspective.

Ray of Light or Headlight on an Oncoming Train?

The first half is not always a prelude to the second half. In 1970, the market turned around in the second half and performed well. That offers some hope for this yearโ€™s second half. Thatโ€™s the good news.

Still, 1970 was the beginning of a tumultuous decade. There was another major market crash in 1974 and another in 1981. Thatโ€™s the bad news.

There were also three recessions (1974, 1980 and 1981) in just seven years. And that was the decade when inflation spun out of control, hitting 13.5% by 1980.

In 1977, the U.S. actually had to issue Treasury bonds denominated in Swiss francs because the dollar was so weak nobody wanted it. It can get that bad and it can happen almost overnight.

But right now, the outlook for the second half of 2022 is actually worse than the first half.

Headwinds Build

The U.S. is probably in a recession today. U.S. GDP declined 1.6% (annualized) in the first quarter, and the Atlanta Fed GDP forecast for the second quarter shows a 1.2% decline. If that second-quarter figure holds (we wonโ€™t have official data until late July), that would meet the technical definition of a recession as two consecutive quarters of declining GDP.

Meanwhile, inflation is currently 8.6% on a year-over-year basis. The Fed has raised interest rates from 0.0% to 1.50% since March and is on track to raise rates to 2.75% by September, with more rate hikes in November and December. Thatโ€™s the fastest tempo of interest rate hikes since Paul Volcker in the early 1980s, but the Fed is still way behind the curve.

The Fed wants to stop inflation, but the way they do that is to destroy demand. That will make the new recession even worse. Still, the Fed may fail to stop inflation even while causing a recession. Thatโ€™s because the inflation is coming from the supply side in food and energy and not from wage demands.

Supply chain dysfunction grows worse, both because of continual COVID lockdowns in China and the impact on food and energy exports from the war in Ukraine. Neither phenomena will be over soon.

Commodity shortages will lead quickly to food shortages and more empty shelves in supermarkets.

The Powerless Fed

The Fed canโ€™t fix broken supply chains, open up energy production or grow crops, so monetary policy is powerless to fix the problems. It can, of course, make things worse by tightening into weakness as itโ€™s doing now.

I mentioned sanctions. Across the board, the economic sanctions against Russia have backfired and are hurting the U.S. and Europe far more than they are hurting Russia.

The economic damage to the U.S. economy will get much worse before the economy gets better. Biden wonโ€™t stop the sanctions soon. That means the trashing of the U.S. economy will continue.

On top of these fundamental headwinds, there may be a new global liquidity crisis underway, as indicated by inverted yield curves in Treasury notes. It has to do with the strong dollar and a dollar shortage.

Strong Now, Weak Later

Earlier I mentioned that the dollar was so weak during the late 1970s that the U.S. government had to issue Treasury bonds denominated in Swiss francs.

Over the course of the next decade or so, I expect the dollar to collapse internationally. But thatโ€™s a long-term forecast. For now, the dollar is strong compared with its counterparts around the world. Basically, itโ€™s the cleanest dirty shirt in the laundromat.

And thatโ€™s a problemโ€ฆ

You may wonder how there could be a dollar shortage when thereโ€™s $9 trillion of base money floating around. Well, as I explained recently, the answer is that that amount is trivial compared with the leverage on bank balance sheets.

Youโ€™re talking about hundreds of trillions of dollars on bank balance sheets, of leveraged positions, all of which is based on collateral.

There arenโ€™t enough bills to go around. The banks are desperate for that collateral. If youโ€™re a foreign bank and you want to buy Treasury bills, which you do for collateral, you need dollars to get them. So you have to take your own currency, buy dollars and then buy the bills.

Thatโ€™s whatโ€™s driving the demand for dollars. Thatโ€™s just making the dollar stronger. Itโ€™s completely artificial; itโ€™s completely unsustainable. But thereโ€™s a mad scramble behind the scenes for dollars to buy high-quality dollar collateral, specifically Treasury bills to support leverage on balance sheets.

2008 All Over Again, Only Worse

ย
The scramble for collateral also speaks to weaker economic growth, fears of default, decreasing creditworthiness of borrowers and fear of a global liquidity crisis. We’re not there yet, but we’re getting close with no relief in sight.

Banks could start to fail. There could be a run on some of these banks. This could be a replay of 2008, but worse. So the good news is we have an answer; the bad news is itโ€™s not a very pretty picture in terms of where it could happen next.

The timing of any financial crisis is always uncertain, but the probability of an eventual crisis is high. New signs of liquidity stress are emerging every day, and no investor should be surprised if the crisis happens sooner rather than later.

But hope springs eternal. Investors hope that the second half of 2022 will undo the damage suffered so far. Hard data on interest rates, inflation and the supply chain suggests otherwise.

Strap in โ€” it could be a rough ride.

Moses is Illuminated after 40 Days

After the Golden Calf incident which came to a head when Moses came down from Mount Sinai on the 23rd day of the 4th month after he had been up with Yehovah for 40 days, we next read about the things shared in Exodus 33 and 34.

Exo 33:1ย ย And Jehovah said to Moses, Come, go up from here, you and the people whom you have brought up out of the land of Egypt, to the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, To your seed I will give it.

Exo 33:2ย ย And I will send an Angel before you. And I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite;

Exo 33:3ย ย to a land flowing with milk and honey. For I will not go up in the midst of you, for you are a stiff-necked people, lest I consume you in the way.

Exo 33:4ย ย And the people heard these evil tidings, and they mourned, and put no ornaments on themselves.

Exo 33:5ย ย And Jehovah had said to Moses, Say to the sons of Israel, You are a stiff-necked people. I will come up into the midst of you in a moment, and I will consume you. And now put off your ornaments from you, that I may know what to do with you.

Exo 33:6ย ย And the sons of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by Mount Horeb.

The Tent of Meeting

Exo 33:7ย ย And Moses took the tabernacle and pitched it outside the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the tabernacle of the congregation. And it happened, everyone who sought Jehovah went out to the tabernacle of the congregation, which was outside the camp.

Exo 33:8ย ย And it happened as Moses went out to the tabernacle, all the people rose up, and each man stood at his tent door and looked after Moses until he had gone into the tabernacle.

Exo 33:9ย ย And it happened as Moses went into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended and stood atthe door of the tabernacle, and Jehovah spoke with Moses.

Exo 33:10ย ย And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door. And all the people rose up and worshiped, each man in his tent door.

Exo 33:11ย ย And Jehovah would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he turned again to the camp. But his servant, Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not leave the middle of the tabernacle.

Moses’ Intercession

Exo 33:12ย ย And Moses said to Jehovah, Behold, You say to me, Bring up this people. And You have not told me whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.

Exo 33:13ย ย Now therefore, I pray You, if I have found grace in Your sight, make me see now Your ways, that I may know You, that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people.

Exo 33:14ย ย And He said, My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.

Exo 33:15ย ย And he said to Him, If Your presence does not go with me, do not carry us up from here.

Exo 33:16ย ย For in what shall it be known that I and Your people have found grace in Your sight? Is it not in that You go with us? So we shall be separated, I and Your people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

Exo 33:17ย ย And Jehovah said to Moses, I will do this thing also that you have spoken. For you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.

Exo 33:18ย ย And he said, I beseech You, let me see Your glory.

Exo 33:19ย ย And He said, I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of Jehovah before you. And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will have mercy on whom I will have mercy.

Exo 33:20ย ย And He said, You cannot see My face. For there no man can see Me and live.

Exo 33:21ย ย And Jehovah said, Behold! There is a place by Me, and you shall stand upon a rock.

Exo 33:22ย ย And it will be, while My glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by.

Exo 33:23ย ย And I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back parts. But My face shall not be seen.

Moses Makes New Tablets

Exo 34:1ย ย And Jehovah said to Moses, Cut out two tablets of stone like the first. And I will write upon the tablets the words that were in the first tablets which you broke.

Exo 34:2ย ย And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to Me in the top of the mountain.

Exo 34:3ย ย And no man shall come up with you, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mountain. Also do not let the flocks nor herds feed before that mountain.

Exo 34:4ย ย And he cut out two tablets of stone like the first. And Moses rose up early in the morning and went up to Mount Sinai, as Jehovah had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tablets of stone.

Exo 34:5ย ย And Jehovah came down in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of Jehovah.

Exo 34:6ย ย And Jehovah passed by before him and proclaimed, Jehovah! Jehovah God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

Exo 34:7ย ย keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the sons, and on the sons of sons, to the third and to the fourth generation.

Exo 34:8ย ย And Moses made haste and bowed toward the earth, and worshiped.

Exo 34:9ย ย And he said, If now I have found grace in Your sight, O Jehovah, I pray You, let my Lord go among us. For it is a stiff-necked people. And pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for Your inheritance.

The Covenant Renewed

Exo 34:10ย ย And He said, Behold! I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation. And all the people in whose midst you are shall see the work of Jehovah, for it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.

Exo 34:11ย ย Observe that which I command you this day. Behold! I drive out before you the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

Exo 34:12ย ย Take heed to yourself, lest you make a covenant with the people of the land where you go, lest it be for a snare in the midst of you.

Exo 34:13ย ย But you shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their sacred poles.

Exo 34:14ย ย For you shall worship no other god. For Jehovah, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God;

Exo 34:15ย ย lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice to their gods, and call you, and you eat of his sacrifice;

Exo 34:16ย ย and lest you take from their daughters for your sons, and their daughters go whoring after their gods and make your sons go whoring after their gods.

Exo 34:17ย ย You shall make you no molten gods.

Exo 34:18ย ย You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. You shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded you, in the time of the month Abib. For in the month Abib you came out from Egypt.

Exo 34:19ย ย All that opens the womb is Mine; and all your male livestock, a firstling of ox or sheep.

Exo 34:20ย ย But the firstling of an ass you shall redeem with a lamb. And if you do not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. All the first-born of your sons you shall redeem. And none shall appear before Me empty.

Exo 34:21ย ย You shall work six days, but on the seventh day you shall rest. In plowing time and in harvest you shall rest.

Exo 34:22ย ย And you shall observe the Feast of Weeks, of the first-fruits of wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the year’s end.

Exo 34:23ย ย Three times in the year your men shall appear before the Lord Jehovah, the God of Israel.

Exo 34:24ย ย For I will cast out the nations before you and enlarge your borders. Neither shall any man desire your land when you shall go up to appear before Jehovah your God three times in the year.

Exo 34:25ย ย You shall not slaughter the blood of My sacrifice with leaven. Neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the Passover be left to the morning.

Exo 34:26ย ย The first of the first-fruits of your land you shall bring to the house of Jehovah your God. You shall not boil a kid in its mother’s milk.

Exo 34:27ย ย And Jehovah said to Moses, Write these words for yourself; for on the mouth of these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.

Exo 34:28ย ย And he was there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights. He neither ate bread, nor drank water. And He wrote upon the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.

The Shining Face of Moses

Exo 34:29ย ย And it happened as Moses was going down from the mountain of Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony being in Moses’ hand as he went down from the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face had become luminous through His speaking with him.

Exo 34:30ย ย And Aaron and all the sons of Israel saw Moses, and behold, the skin of his face had become luminous. And they were afraid to come near him.

Exo 34:31ย ย And Moses called to them. And Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned to him, and Moses talked with them.

Exo 34:32ย ย And afterward all the sons of Israel came near. And he commanded them all that Jehovah had spoken with him in Mount Sinai.

Exo 34:33ย ย And Moses finished speaking with them, and he put a veil on his face.

Exo 34:34ย ย But when Moses went in before Jehovah to speak with Him, he took the veil off until he came out. And he came out and spoke to the sons of Israel that which he was commanded.

Exo 34:35ย ย And the sons of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face had become luminous. And Moses put the veil upon his face again, until he went in to speak with Him.

This sabbath, we are on the 23rd day of the 5th month. So a month has now passed since the Golden Calf event. When did Moses go back up the mountain for the second 40-day period is not 100% known. Tradition says it began with the 1st day of the 6th month. This is the traditional time period for the 40 days of repentance which ends at the Day of Atonement.

Our book The Restoration of All Things is about to be released. (But more edits were discovered.) It is my belief that 2033 is the year Satan will be locked away on the Day of Atonement. It is also my belief that we will be raised from the grave or changed in the twinkle of an eye on Shavuot in 2033. (If you have not yet read out book The Mystery of the Jewish Rapture 2033, then I urge you to get it ASAP and read it.

When you take 2033 and count back 40 years, you will end up in the year 1994. 1994 was the year before the 7th Sabbatical year in the 119th Jubilee Cycle. It was the year I left the Worldwide Church of God and began my intensive studying of the Bible.

The last 10 Days of Awe, are reflected in the years from 2024 to 2033. This will be the subject of our 3rd book in The Elijah Trilogy.

Go back and reread what Moses asked Yehovah.

That I may Know you.

Think on this phrase. That I may know you. How did this happen?

Moses saw His ways. His Shabbat, His 7 days of Unleavened Bread with the death of the first born on the first day and the parting of the Red Sea on the 7th Day, His 7 Sabbaths until Shavuot where He again met Yehovah with the 70 elders on top of Mount Sinai as did all of Israel and they received the Torah from Yehovah.

Moses and Israel had not yet seen all 7 Feasts. Nor had they seen the 7 days of Sukkot and the 8th Day Feast. They had not yet seen the Sabbatical Years and the 7 Sabbatical years leading up to the Jubilee Year. Although all of these are included in the commandments so they knew of them.

But Moses still wanted to know Yehovah. In answering Moses prayer, Yehovah then does this.

These are the 13 attributes of Yehovah.

Why does Divine forgiveness matter?

Moses utilizes his special relationship with God (โ€œThe Lord would speak to Moses panim el panim, face to faceโ€, Ex. 33:11), asking to see Godโ€™s Presence (kevodecha) (v 18). God offers to pass God’s โ€œgoodnessโ€ before Moses, though not God’s face, since โ€œno human can see Me and liveโ€ (v. 20).

The Lord descended in a cloud, โ€œstood with him thereโ€ and proclaimed both God’s name (Ex 34:5) and the โ€œattributes.โ€ Right there, on the spot, Moses challenges God โ€œto deliver,โ€ to act in accordance with the mercy and forgiveness He has attributed to Himself.

What are the 13 attributes of God and what is the context?

The Thirteen Attributes of God in the Machzor:

YHVH, YHVH, a God compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in kindness and faithfulness, extending kindness to the thousandth generation, bearing iniquity, transgression and sin, and acquitting….

Pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for Your own!

What is the difference between the Torah citation of the 13 Attributes verses the version we use during the High Holy Days in our machzor?

Why do you think the authors of the machzor truncated the citation from the Torah?

Unpacking the 13 Attributes (one version):

YHVH – I am God before people sin
YHVH – I am God after people sin if they repent
El – (All-powerful) God
Rahum – Compassionate
VeHanun – Gracious
Erekh Apayim – Slow to anger
Verav Hesed – Abounding in lovingkindness
Veโ€™emet – And in truth
Notzer hesed Laโ€™alafim – Maintaining lovingkindness for 1,000 generations
Nosei avon – Forgiving premeditated sins
Vaโ€™fesha – sins committed in rebellion
Vaโ€™hataโ€™ah – sins made by mistake
Venakeh – acquitting the penitent.
(R. Tam, RH 17b, adapted by Max Arzt, Justice and Mercy)

What is the purpose of the 13 Attributes?

When else are the 13 Attributes of God invoked in our Tanakh?

In the book of Numbers, the spies return to the people with a report that causes the Israelites to express disbelief in Godโ€™s ability to lead them into the land. God, in fury, threatens to wipe out the people of Israel. Standing between the jilted God and the โ€œstiff-neckedโ€ people, Moses recites some of the attributes as a plea for forgiveness.

Interestingly enough, in one instance these special attributes cause great anger and distress. Jonah is furious at God for being kind and merciful and accepting the tshuva (repentance) of the citizens of Ninveh. In great irony, Jonahโ€™s harsh words against God echo the very words that describe Godโ€™s forgiveness to the Jewish people at the time of the Golden Calf. Jonah does not explain his wrath, but it does pose the issue of the place of tshuva and forgiveness in a world where accountability and responsibility for oneโ€™s actions are important means for maintaining social order.

Why does God need to be reminded of the 13 attributes? Is it a magic formula?

If a person does (or makes) his midot (inner attributes/character/virtues) like the midot of the Holy One, the person’s sins are forgiven. — Alshich in Itturei Torah, pg. 268

Pesachim 54a:8-9
Seven phenomena were created before the world was created, and they are: Torah, and repentance, and the Garden of Eden, and Gehennom (purgatory), and the Throne of Glory, nd the Temple, and the name of Messiah…Repentance was created before the world was created, as it is written: โ€œBefore the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God,โ€ and it is written immediately afterward: โ€œYou return man to dust; You decreed, ‘Return you mortals!’โ€ (Psalms 90:2โ€“3).

What does it mean that 7 phenomena were created “before the world was created”?

Why is teshuva (repentance) on that list, and what does that teach us about the human condition?
Rabbi Ira Eisenstein (adapted)

We cannot actually picture goodness. It is not a being; it is a force, like electricity. Nobody ever actually saw electricity, but we can see and feel what electricity does. If we have an electric heater and connect it, we get heat. We get to know what electricity is by what it does. In the same way, we get to know what God is by what God makes us do: when people are, so to speak, connected with God, they do good things. We call those people godly people, and their acts, godly acts. Whenever this force is active, we say that God has exercised influence and power.

Let’s now return to Moses, who is now illuminating light after spending 40 days on the mountain with Yehovah. His face is radiant.

These 40 days of Repentance are for us to draw closer to Yehovah. For us to remove the spots and wrinkles from our wedding dress and to become radiant in His Word.

When we walk down that aisle, we are to be perfect. Did Yehovah tell us to do something that was impossible to do?

Mat 5:48ย ย Therefore be perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is perfect.

Genesis 17:1
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Leviticus 11:44
For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Leviticus 19:2
Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.

even.

Matthew 5:16,45
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heavenโ€ฆ

Ephesians 3:1
For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

Ephesians 5:1,2
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; โ€ฆ

Deuteronomy 18:13
You must be blameless before the LORD your God.

2 Samuel 22:31
As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

2 Corinthians 7:1
Therefore, beloved, since we have these promises, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that defiles body and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Ephesians 5:1
Be imitators of God, therefore, as beloved children,

Philippians 3:12
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

This is within our grasp. It is something we can do by removing one blemish or one spot each day.

This is why we are doing this. This is why we repent during these 40 days and perfect ourselves to be perfect and blameless.

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb

Rev 19:6ย ย And I heard as the sound of a great multitude, and as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of strong thunders, saying, Hallelujah! For the Lord God omnipotent reigns!

Rev 19:7ย ย Let us be glad and rejoice and we will give glory to Him. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has prepared herself.

Rev 19:8ย ย And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white. For the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints.

Rev 19:9ย ย And he said to me, Write, Blessed are those who have been called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me, These are the true sayings of God.

As Moses came back from 40 days with Yehovah at this time of year, each and every one of us can strive to do the same.

On the other hand, we also have another example of what will happen at this same time period in the near future.

The Baptism of Jesus

Mat 3:13ย ย Then Jesus came from Galilee to Jordan, to John, to be baptized by him.

Mat 3:14ย ย But John restrained Him, saying, I have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?

Mat 3:15ย ย And answering Jesus said to him, Allow it now, for it is becoming to us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he allowed Him.

Mat 3:16ย ย And Jesus, when He had been baptized, went up immediately out of the water. And lo, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon Him.

Mat 3:17ย ย And lo, a voice from Heaven, saying, This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

The Temptation of Jesus

Mat 4:1ย ย Then Jesus was led by the Spirit up into the wilderness, to be tempted by the Devil.

Mat 4:2ย ย And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He was afterwards hungry.

Mat 4:3ย ย And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If You are the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

Mat 4:4ย ย But He answered and said, It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”

Mat 4:5ย ย Then the Devil took Him up into the holy city and set Him upon a pinnacle of the Temple.

Mat 4:6ย ย And he said to Him, If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down. For it is written, “He shall give His angels charge concerning You, and in their hands they shall bear You up, lest at any time You dash Your foot against a stone.”

Mat 4:7ย ย Jesus said to him, It is written again, “You shall not tempt the Lord your God.”

Mat 4:8ย ย Again, the Devil took Him up into a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

Mat 4:9ย ย And he said to Him, All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.

Mat 4:10ย ย Then Jesus said to him, Go, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.”

Mat 4:11ย ย Then the Devil left him. And behold, angels came and ministered to Him.

Notice that this time Yehshua is going to battle with Satan. It is done three times. Is that connected to the 3 1/2 year tribulation which comes at the end of the 10 Days of Awe?

Eve, when she was confronted by Satan, tried to use logic and dialogue with him. After all, Satan was a bright shining one. But Yehshua did not argue or reason with Satan. He just quoted the scriptures. This was the ultimate showdown. No it was not. The ultimate showdown is yet to happen. It takes place during the 10 Days of Awe, at the end of the 40 Days of Repentence.

Satan offered Yehshua food from the famine, his life from harm or death and then power over the nations.

We now have a worldwide growing famine. It will get worse as we enter the 10 Years of Awe starting in 2024. Men will be rarer than the gold of Orphir. Our lives are going to be in the hands of those we trust. It had better be Yehovah. WW III has begun. World power moves are aligning for the battle that is coming.

You are seeking to be PERFECT as He is. You are seeking to Know Him as Moses had asked. You are seeking His mercy during these 40 days, 40 years of repentance leading up to the Day of Atonement when your sins will be forgiven.

What was the final response Yehshua said to Satan at the end of the 3 trials?

“You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.”

Baptism

As we begin the 40 days of Repentance, which begin on Thursday evening, July 28, with the 1st day on Friday, I want to encourage you all to mikveh or rebaptize yourself as Yehshua did to begin His 40 days of fasting. You can do this yourself in any open flowing water source.

I also want to encourage you all to blow your shofars if you can each day leading up to the Day of Atonement.

Beginning on Rosh Chodesh Elul and continuing until the day before Rosh Hashanah, it is customary to blow the ram’s horn (i.e., shofar: ืฉืื•ึน ึธืคืจ) every day (except for Shabbat). This practice was adopted to awaken us for the coming High Holidays.

The custom is to first blow tekiah (ึฐืชึผ ึดืงื™ ึธืขื” ), a long single blast (the sound of the King’s coronation), followed by shevarim (ึฐืฉื ึธื‘ ึดืจื™ื ), three short, wail-like blasts (signifying repentance), followed by teruah (ึฐืชึผืจื•ึผ ึธืขื” ), several short blasts of alarm (to awaken the soul), and to close with tekiah hagadol (ึฐืชึผ ึดืงื™ ึธืขื” ึทื” ึธื’ึผื“ื•ึนืœ ), a long, final blast:

Maybe put the weekly teaching as the default, and have a “Goto TOP^” or Goto NEXT>” at the bottom… otherwise less tech savvy folks may not understand the new format.

            Nice effort on the update.
Wonder if that options bar can move with our scrolling too.

The SHABBAT MEETINGS button text is too large for the box on my android phone.

Appreciate the effort even though I have no idea how hard or easy it is to do.

            Thankyou.
            Praise our King!

Would suggest placing the headings after (below greeting) and also include the DONATION in this section!!

May I suggest a ‘back to menu’ button to get back in stead of having to scroll up, back there to read any of the other topics?

The margins in the teaching section are too wide, the last word is cut off.

The new layout works well for me. I suggest to use the whole width of the screen below the menu items, it will reduce the scrolling down. (I use an iPad, not sure if this is also the case with other devices).

Could I also request you stop using the names of other mighty ones and exclusively use the Names of our Heavenly Father and His Son?

The new layout is great as one can easily access relevant parts rather than scroll through the whole document when you want to quickly find something specific. Can the right hand margin be a bit bigger to accommodate all types of devices?

So appreciate your new format. I can go directly to what I want to read without having to scroll through the parts that I do not need. Loved the sound of the shofar as it is suppose to be blown leading up to the Day of Atonement. Your newsletters are always filled to the brim with great teachings! Thank you so much, Joseph. We appreciate your time and efforts!

In fact, Mosheh went up the mountain for 3 sets of 40 days and forty nights.
The First time: The 1st set of the three sets of forty days and forty nights:
On the 12th day of the 3rd month, the 5th day of the week begins the 1st day of the 1st set of the three sets of forty days and forty nights (Exo_24:16-18) when Mosheh was called up to the mountain. (Exo_24:18 to Exo_32:29; Deu_9:9-17)

The second time: The 2nd set of the three sets of the forty days and forty nights.
On the 23rd day of the 4th month, the 4th day of the week begins the 2nd set of the forty days and forty nights. (Exo_32:30-35; Deu_9:18-29)

The third time: The 3rd set of the three sets of the forty days and forty nights:
On the 12th day of the 6th-month 4th day of the week, Mosheh goes up for the 3rd set of forty days and forty nights. (Exo_34:1 to Exo_35:4; Deu_10:1-5)

Shabbat Shalom Brad, I have removed your references to Jasher. That book has no use here.
When I count the 40 days from the 23rd of the 4th month as you did to the start of the 40 days of Repentance which is the 1st of the 6th month, I only get a 37-day period.

I like what you’re saying about Moses praying for 40 days after the Golden Calf. Deut 9:18-29, but he was not up on the Mountain. He was in the camp. It is at the end of that period of time that he hews out the second set of commandments and goes back up. But the chronology of 120 days does not fit from the 23rd of the 4th month to the Day of Atonement.

t the end of the 3rd set of 40 days, the 40th day was on the 21st day of the 7th month, where on the 22nd day of the 7th month Mosheh began to read the Torah. The closing day aka the 8th day of Sukkot. And what do we do and celebrate on that day?

Shalom Joseph. I gave just the chapter headings. I do have book chapter verses to back my statements. Unfortunately, Philo, Josephus, and Jubilees are silent. Jasher does coincide with the book of Exodus and Deuteronomy. carefully Reread Deu_9:18-29 over again.
Now, where was YaHUaH? On top of the mountain, yes?
Deu 9:18ย  โ€œand I fell down before ื™ื”ื•ื”, as at the first, forty days and forty nights…
Exo 32:30ย  And it came to be on the next day that Mosheh said to the people, โ€œYou, you have sinned a great sin. And now I am going up to ื™ื”ื•ื” โ€“ if I might atone for your sin.โ€ย
Exo 32:31ย  And Mosheh returned to ื™ื”ื•ื” and said, โ€œOh, these people have sinned a great sin, and have made for themselves a mighty one of gold!ย
