Do You Understand What God is Writing on Your Heart and How?

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,

Support for this Work

In the mail this week was the following note.

Good day Joseph,

My husband gave me permission to cancel the monthly debit order that we have been paying to the Dutch Reformed Church for the past 11 years.

In June last year I visited the reverend and informed him that I no longer want to be a member of the church, and told him about honoring the Sabbath, etc. Sadly, when I stopped attending the church, my husband did too, and because neither one of us receives spiritual edification there, I asked if I may redirect the funds to Sightedmoon. OK, he was not ecstatic about it, but did give permission.

If possible, I would like the $200 to go towards the work in the Philippines, and wondered if the South African Rand would not convert more favorably to their monetary unit as opposed to US $, which is what Paypal now uses. Or maybe even Canadian $ would be better?  Please advise.

Shalom.

I want to thank everyone who is praying for this work and supporting it with your financial donations. You can send them through Paypal in many various currencies now. Just click on the one you want to use and that is it. So thank you. We can also take cheques, money orders or bank drafts and even email transfers. But Canadian banks will not cash cheques from South Africa for some reason. Go to the donation page or send your donation to

I also want to share two emails I got this Thursday morning. Both of them inspired me. But they also show you the work we are striving to do in other countries and the struggles they are having there. You have heard of our work in Burundi and in the Philippines. Over the past couple of years, we have had a lady who used to be from Canada and is now living in Brazil, translating our two books, Remembering the Sabbatical year of 2016 and The 2300 Days of Hell, into Portuguese. And she is just about completed The 2300 Days of Hell Book. Please do help her by sharing those books with those people you know who are Portuguese.

She has just completed translating Chapter 11, The Great Enlightenment of Mankind, which exposes the truth behind the UN and their false Environmental program by which they have gotten the whole world involved in. When I wrote the book in 2013, it was then called Agenda 21 and now, 5 years later,  it is now called The Paris Accord on Climate Change. The truth is that it is the covenant made with many that is spoken of in Daniel 9:27.

She wrote me the following note this week.

Good morning Joseph,

Here is chapter 11 translated.  One more chapter to go!

The election results in Brazil and UN`s response has started some interesting debates and comments on a few of our friends facebook pages. I have promised to get this chapter finished to have people go and read it. This has been an interesting chapter and I have to rethink somethings as well. That`s good. 😉 I will get started on the last chapter tomorrow and hopefully the whole book can be up by next Friday.

I have always made mention and shared the link to your books (translated if needed) on a more personal level. I have found that the way that works the most to actually change someoneÂŽs point of view, is by proving smaller points that seem to be on their minds, then pulling all those points together to the greater conclusion. I find people actually listen and consider. I must say that I have a deep concern for how many approach sharing these truths. Its much better, in my experience, to use an IV drip approach, then to start off by bonking someone on the head.

Granted most will NOT turn to truth, but of those who will, the Father is already working in their hearts and we need to be sensitive to His leading on how to approach them. Some we do get down right point blank and warn, ex one of our sons, just turned to homosexuality. We were very blunt in the warnings. Why? Bc he already knows the truth and is choosing to turn his back on it all. He no longer talks to us and it is very hard to see that now half of our children have turned away, when they know full well the truth. We continue to pray and continue to be loving, but when it comes to discussing lifestyle choices and future, we always remind them of what is coming. They don’t like it, but like I shared in our family group: “you can run, but you can’t hide. It would be unloving not to remind you.”

I was wondering though about starting a Facebook Sighted Moon page in Portuguese. One that is linked directly to your ministry and where we could tag and direct people to. What do you think of that idea? I know that Facebook isn’t really open to much of what we share, but there aren’t many people on mewe yet, and those who are on MeWe are already awakening. I think that those on Facebook are the ones who need to hear more. I don’t know. What are your thoughts?
I can donate sometime to Facebook media etc, but I will be looking for more freelance translation work to do as well, bc Claude isn’t getting full 40 hour weeks at work and we are behind on somethings. I would like to find a way to balance both, working for sustenance and working for ministry. We have a group that is requesting Sabbath gatherings in Brazil and we know we need to go back by the next Biblical year and do at least one whole cycle of feasts and teaching with this group of newbies. So much of what we have planted in the last decade is starting to bloom now. So many questions and tenderheartedness. But so much lack of true understanding of Scripture that can truly only be shown and taught one way: His way, through the feasts and commandments. What we teach with words, doesnt stick as much as what we teach by example. We know we have to return, but we know also that there are those who are out to take our lives too. Having translated this chapter explains a lot. We have always stood for sustainability, but have refused to sit in on the rituals of the ‘calling of Mother Earth’ and now I know better why. We are marked already as those who will not join in those activities. We are marked as those who will not eat certain meats. The spirits that wage war against the righteous, KNOW who we are. We can’t stay in North America, to protect ourselves, when there are so many who need to know the truth. However, we need to be smack in the middle of the FatherÂŽs will and His timing (which is short). Seeking His guidance,
Nora

Please do pray for her and her family and her safety. Also, pray she is and you all are able to draw many of the Portuguese people to now read these books which you can find at our site under the translations tab.

Thursday morning I also got the following email from Cambodia. You may remember Ross, whom I asked you to pray about who was there alone doing this work. He is also new to these truths. Ross wrote me the following;

Shalom Joseph, Just a note to let you know what has been happening here. None of the local Christian groups I contacted online have replied. The Joyce Meyer group has not been around but will soon have an xmas party. I will attend and look for willing learners.

In the meantime, I have taken the opportunity to address the curses on my in-laws. They recently lost 3 pigs and 60 chickens to some disease. I explained to my brother-in-law that the real cause is the result of disobedience. I told him he needs to get rid of the pigs and raise goat’s instead. I have been talking about that for years. He agreed. I told him that we must dedicate the land to Yehovah because it is His anyway and that we must follow His laws regarding its use. No work on the Sabbath. Sabbatical Years rest. He agreed!

He agreed to close the school on the Sabbath and to see that no work is done and no money spent. He will have his wife do the same. She sells cold drinks and snacks and tends the garden. We will all rest on the Sabbath! Just now, my 18 year old nephew agreed to work with us. So, we are now 3 farmers taking the first steps toward obeying Torah. We will be the first Sabbath keeping household in the region. The land we are on belongs to Yehovah. We will do as He commands. This is an answer to my prayers. I am blessed and honoured! Thanks be to Yehovah!

Ross then went on to share the following. Please do keep him in your prayers also.

This is going to get very complicated. My brother-in-law, runs a private school for poor kids. His education was funded by a friend of mine. He is 88. He has recently moved from Canada to Thailand and will be spending one week every month here,- teaching in the school. He HATES the Bible. He’s gay. I need to be strong and not let him dissuade my brother-in-law. But, I also need to try and reach my friend. Needless to say, I will need prayers…

And yes Ross is from Canada too. Hmmm…

I know Telesphore and Aike are not from Canada LOL. We also just got in the mail a check from one generous family to pay for the new tires that are needed for Telesphores truck that Jame wrote to you about a few weeks ago. I will wire him the fund and the first installment for James teaching there for 6 months. Telesphore is heading to Kenya in December and we ask you to also keep him in your prayers.

Sightedmoon.com is a small ministry but we are doing great works in other countries. Your donations are not spent on buildings or payrolls. Your donations are spent on the actual needs of traveling and hosting conferences in these countries in order to teach the Sabbath, The Holy Days of Lev 23 and the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. Brethren this is the work you are doing by helping us. Thank you. I pray Yehovah will bless each of you and continue to help you to see what your help is doing around the world.

Update From Burundi

Since James left Burundi, I and my core team did follow up those who have been trained by James

We have been strengthening them in this Truth for this last times

The following photos are the pastors, Bishops and evangelists who have decided to keep the Sabbath and Feasts of Yahweh also to teach their members this Truth

We were dancing on the Sabbath in the church that keeps the Sabbath and trying to put in action the Feasts of Yahweh

Bishops, Pastors and deacons were giving testimony of what they have been taught about this truth of Sabbatical Years and Cycles

This church has decided to keep the Sabbath and Feasts of Yahweh and teach their church members the same as well.

Update From the Philippines

In our News Letter 5854-030, we asked for your help in raising some funds to help purchase computers for some of the pastors in the Philippines. Sightedmoon.com sent Bro Aike some funds to help in this cause even before we had received anything from the brethren in the form of donations.

Bro Aike sent me word today that he had now purchased the refurbished laptops and downloaded them with the teaching of MLTC and of Sightedmoon.com so that these teachers had the tools to do the work in their areas. Although Brother Aike asked for used computers I thought it was more economical to spend the funds on the computers rather than on shipping and mailing charges from North America to the Philippines.

So this is one of the many ways we are working with Brother Aike on getting the message out throughout the Philippines.

The Ninth New Moon

Thursday evening the new crescent moon was not sighted in Israel. This then makes Sabbath the first day of the 9th month. You can keep track of each month and each day of the month with our monthly calendar that is free to download at this following link. https://sightedmoon.com/monthly-calendar-pdf/

We have now updated all the Holy Day Dates for 2019. They are not 100% until the barley is Aviv and the moon is sighted. They are there for a guide only.

Here is this months sighted moon report from Devorahs Date Tree.

As we mentioned when we sent out the information on When and Where to Look for the New Moon, the stats tonight made it very difficult to see the moon with the naked eye. At the time of this writing, we are not aware of any positive new moon sightings from Israel.

We will of course send out an update should any positive confirmations come in from tonight’s observation.
1. Subscribe to receive our reports via E-mail at http://eepurl.com/bqNidH
2. Like our Facebook Page “Devorah’s Date Tree” at www.facebook.com/datetree  Then hover over the “Following” button (next to the “Like” button) and select “See First”, to ensure you don’t miss the reports.

As a lunar month cannot be more than 30 days, if no positive reports come in, the month will begin tomorrow evening, making Rosh Chodesh (the first day of the month) sunset November 9, 2018 – sunset November 10, 2018. Be sure to keep track of what number month this is, based on when you started the new year.

On behalf of all of us who rely on these reports, we wish to thank everyone in Israel who looked for the new moon this evening and sent in their observations in a timely manner.  We also wish to take this opportunity to thank those of you who have chosen to be a part of restoring the Biblical Calendar by supporting our efforts, we truly appreciate it.

If reliable first-hand New Moon and Aviv Reports from Israel are of value to you, please consider supporting our efforts. We could really use your support!

Chodesh Tov! Make it a great month!

The Archers of Mount Sinai

Last Week we urged you to watch the video series Michael Rood was putting out with Joel Richardson on his recent trip to Mount Sinai.

Part one is here

Part two is the following video

But the amazing part of this video is the revelation of this new information about these pictures at the base of Mount Sinai depicting the warning or the do not trespass signs put by Moses.

Exodus 19:9 And the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I am coming to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and may also believe you forever.”
When Moses told the words of the people to the Lord, the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments and be ready for the third day. For on the third day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people. And you shall set limits for the people all around, saying, ‘Take care not to go up into the mountain or touch the edge of it. Whoever touches the mountain shall be put to death. No hand shall touch him, but he shall be stoned or shot; whether beast or man, he shall not live.’ When the trumpet sounds a long blast, they shall come up to the mountain.”

And here are the warning signs they have now found at the bottom edge of Mount Sinai. All pictures were taken by Joel Richardson.

A Test and a Sign

The Sabbath is from sunset to sunset. And we can know this from reading the word of Yehovah in Genesis and Leviticus.

Gen 1:5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.

Gen 1:8 And God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day.

Gen 1:9 And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so. God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.

Gen 1:14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so. 18 And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.

Gen 1:20 And God said, “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens. 23 And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.

Gen 1:24 And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so. 27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. 31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

IN each of these first 6 days of Creation Yehovah tells you that the day begins at sunset and ends with the sunset of the day portion. So when Yehovah rested on the 7th day, it goes without mention that the 7th day began at sunset of the 6th day. But to make absolutely clear that you understand when the Sabbath is to begin HE does spell it out so that there will be no misunderstanding. He does this in Lev 23.

Lev 23:26 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Now on the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. It shall be for you a time of holy convocation, and you shall afflict yourselves and present a food offering to the Lord. And you shall not do any work on that very day, for it is a Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God. For whoever is not afflicted on that very day shall be cut off from his people. And whoever does any work on that very day, that person I will destroy from among his people. You shall not do any work. It is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwelling places. It shall be to you a Sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict yourselves.

On the ninth day of the month beginning at evening, from evening to evening shall you keep your Sabbath.”

And now today at the end of this 6th millennial day for mankind we have modern day smarter than Yehovah, messed up messianics,  who say the weekly Sabbath is the day only part. The night part is normal and can be worked on. Nowhere in history can they find one group of Jews who did or do as they are now claiming. This is self-righteousness on their part. Their righteousness is based on themselves and not Yehovah’s very own words.

I also hear on many Christian radios shows and even this week on Paws and Tales that they are calling the first day of the week, Sunday, The Sabbath and how they are not to work on that day and how they are to set it apart and have a special Sunday evening meal. It is a bald-faced lie and yet many Christians accept this lie and keep Sunday as the Sabbath. And instead of having that special Sabbath meal to begin the Sabbath they have it at the end. Again totally the opposite of what they are told to do.

This past weekend was the annual time change from

Daylight Saving Time was first introduced during the early twentieth century, but the idea actually originated much earlier — around the time of the founding of the United States in the late eighteenth century.

The idea originally came from Benjamin Franklin, one of the founding fathers of the United States constitution. In a 1784 essay published in a newspaper Franklin suggested that changing the clocks twice a year could help maximize the amount of sunlight time, allowing people to work longer and be more productive. But he wasn’t all that serious about it; some historians believe it was a satirical point meant to poke fun at the more laid-back approach to work taken by some of America’s European counterparts.

One of the Key Backers was an Entomologist. An entomologist is a bug expert — someone who studied insects and monitors how bugs impact the environment. Surprisingly, it was an entomologist who pushed to bring Daylight Saving Time into effect in the 1890s. Why? Because he felt advancing the clocks in the spring and setting time back in the fall would reduce exposure to bugs that could make work difficult. (Keep in mind this was a time when far more people worked out of doors).

The entomologist’s idea wasn’t taken all that seriously in the years before the turn of the twentieth century, with many scientists and politicians dismissing it as overly complicated. But it would gain traction in the first decades of the new century.

The First World War was a massive conflict that involved countries from around the globe. The nations that took part, like Germany, Austria-Hungary, Britain, Canada, Australia, Russia and France, became obsessed with productivity in an effort to beat the enemy. This obsession with productivity only intensified when the war effectively became a stalemate in 1915.

It’s not particularly surprising, then, that many of the belligerent nations began exploring Daylight Saving Time the following year. Germany started the wave, becoming the first nation to adopt DST in 1916. Soon, other countries followed, including Britain and Canada, two Allied nations hit particularly hard by the war (for example, Canada actually lost more men in WWI than WWII). Other measures intended to help productivity passed around this time included prohibition and giving the vote to women.

The United States remained relatively leery of Daylight Saving Time throughout the first half of the twentieth century, not taking the idea particularly seriously until the energy crisis of the 1970s. This crisis emerged when war in the Middle East and US backing of Israel resulted in many Arab countries restricting American access to their oil. The end result was a widespread fuel shortage in the United States.

This shortage of oil left the United States government looking for ways to maximize energy efficiency. As had been the case in other countries that had already adopted DST, the idea was that it could increase the number of waking hours with sunlight, lessening a need for artificial light. With that in mind, Daylight Saving Time was embraced by the United States in the mid-1970s.

Daylight Saving Time is all about maximizing production and reducing energy wastage. This is supposedly accomplished by limiting the number of waking hours where there’s no sunlight; in essence, it’s supposed to restrict the amount of time we use artificial light.

But Daylight Saving Time may not actually accomplish this. A 2008 study carried out in Indiana found that the state’s adoption of DST had actually increased (albeit slightly) overall energy consumption. That’s because, while DST might give us more exposure to sunlight, it doesn’t necessarily reduce heating or air conditioning costs.

These days, we’re told on an almost daily basis how important it is to get a full night’s sleep. Of course, that’s easier said than done. One way you can maximize your sleep hours is to keep your sleep schedule the same, meaning you don’t get up any later on mornings when you don’t need to go to work.

Given this finding, it’s understandable that the changes to our sleep schedule introduced by Daylight Saving Time can be a problem. Springing ahead and falling back by an hour can seriously disrupt established sleep schedules, leading to sleep issues for everyone from kids to older adults. In some cases it can result in significantly reduced sleep time, a problem that’s linked to heart disease, stroke, and other serious health concerns.

Although Daylight Saving Time has been adopted in the vast majority of places in North America and Europe, many communities have resisted making the change or have abolished DST in the years since it was originally established.

Explanations for ditching DST vary depending on the place in question. For example, in Arizona, where sunlight is hardly scarce, few residents feel the need to use DST. Additionally, many indigenous communities have kept DST at arm’s length because they simply don’t feel it’s necessary, the result being that the time can change by an hour as you make your way through one of these places.

At one time, Daylight Saving Time resulted in people gaining an extra hour on the last Sunday in October, which often fell right around Halloween. For those companies that profited the most from Halloween, including firms that make candy, this was seen as potentially problematic for business.

The result: about ten years ago, candy companies began lobbying the United States government to push DST back a couple weeks, when the candy business wasn’t quite as hot. Facing this pressure, the U.S. government extended DST into November.

Last week, when we began our workday at 7 AM, it was dark for about an hour before we could see at work easily. With the clocks being set back we can now begin to work at 7 AM and see what is going on around us.

But what about the end of the workday. Now on Friday afternoons the sun will be setting in my area at 5 PM and going down to about 4:45 next month. What are you going to do when you still have to work and the Sabbath is about to begin?

Yehovah says;

Exodus 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

OK but you can compromise and work a few minutes each week on Friday into the Sabbath. God will understand. You have to work and your boss is not going to let you off. God, after all, knows my heart you say.

We read in Numbers 15:32 about a man who said those same things. He was after all just picking up a few sticks for his family.

Numbers 15:32 While the people of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day. And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation. They put him in custody, because it had not been made clear what should be done to him. And the Lord said to Moses, “The man shall be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.” And all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him to death with stones, as the Lord commanded Moses.

This past week as I drove home Friday after work, I debated with myself whether or not to go and buy a Pizza for supper on my way home. Sunset was around 6 but I was not sure the exact times as I drove. I would get back to town a bit before 6 PM and was wondering if I would have time to order and then for them to make it. By the time I got back to my town, I decided not to chance it. If someone was in front of me or the order took too long to make. So I went home and raced, I mean raced to have supper prepared before sunset. My wife who does not believe was at work.

Yehovah has commanded that we do our heavy cooking—roasting, baking, boiling, broiling—on the day before the Sabbath. The command to do this is clear. It is interesting to think about how frequently men think that “what God says” does not really apply to them or that it does not matter. What they are doing is presuming to add or subtract from His Word.

Do you revere the Sabbath? Do you revere the words of Yehovah? Are you adding to the Torah things like Chanukah and Purim, Halloween and Christmas or are you one of those taking away from the Torah. Taking away the Sabbath or parts of it. Taking away the Holy Days saying they are done away and no longer needed because Jesus did it all for us on the cross. Or will you compromise by saying the Sabbath is the day only part and thereby justify your breaking the Sabbath each Friday evening?

Why did Yehovah do this to us in the first place? Such a silly rule to not work on a perfectly good working day.

Even before the Israelite accepted the covenant at Mount Sinai in Chapter 20 of Exodus we read how Yehovah tested them to see if they really would obey Him.

Exodus 16:4 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I am about to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day’s portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law or not.

The test dealt with keeping the fourth commandment, the Sabbath. He wanted to see whether they would obey Him. He then commanded them to prepare for it, so that they could pass the test!

Exodus 16:5 On the sixth day, when they prepare what they bring in, it will be twice as much as they gather daily.” So Moses and Aaron said to all the people of Israel, “At evening you shall know that it was the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, and in the morning you shall see the glory of the Lord, because he has heard your grumbling against the Lord. For what are we, that you grumble against us?” And Moses said, “When the Lord gives you in the evening meat to eat and in the morning bread to the full, because the Lord has heard your grumbling that you grumble against him—what are we? Your grumbling is not against us but against the Lord.”
Then Moses said to Aaron, “Say to the whole congregation of the people of Israel, Come near before the Lord, for he has heard your grumbling.’” And as soon as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the people of Israel, they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud. And the Lord said to Moses, “I have heard the grumbling of the people of Israel. Say to them, ‘At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God.’”
In the evening quail came up and covered the camp, and in the morning dew lay around the camp. And when the dew had gone up, there was on the face of the wilderness a fine, flake-like thing, fine as frost on the ground. When the people of Israel saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “It is the bread that the Lord has given you to eat. This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Gather of it, each one of you, as much as he can eat. You shall each take an omer, according to the number of the persons that each of you has in his tent.’” And the people of Israel did so. They gathered, some more, some less. But when they measured it with an omer, whoever gathered much had nothing left over, and whoever gathered little had no lack. Each of them gathered as much as he could eat. And Moses said to them, “Let no one leave any of it over till the morning.” But they did not listen to Moses. Some left part of it till the morning, and it bred worms and stank. And Moses was angry with them. Morning by morning they gathered it, each as much as he could eat; but when the sun grew hot, it melted.
On the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers each. And when all the leaders of the congregation came and told Moses, he said to them, “This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Tomorrow is a day of solemn rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord; bake what you will bake and boil what you will boil, and all that is left over lay aside to be kept till the morning.’” So they laid it aside till the morning, as Moses commanded them, and it did not stink, and there were no worms in it. Moses said, “Eat it today, for today is a Sabbath to the Lord; today you will not find it in the field. Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, which is a Sabbath, there will be none.”
On the seventh day some of the people went out to gather, but they found none. And the Lord said to Moses, “How long will you refuse to keep my commandments and my laws? See! The Lord has given you the Sabbath; therefore on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Remain each of you in his place; let no one go out of his place on the seventh day.” So the people rested on the seventh day.
Now the house of Israel called its name manna. It was like coriander seed, white, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey. Moses said, “This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Let an omer of it be kept throughout your generations, so that they may see the bread with which I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.’” And Moses said to Aaron, “Take a jar, and put an omer of manna in it, and place it before the Lord to be kept throughout your generations.” As the Lord commanded Moses, so Aaron placed it before the testimony to be kept. The people of Israel ate the manna forty years, till they came to a habitable land. They ate the manna till they came to the border of the land of Canaan. (An omer is the tenth part of an ephah.)

The man who was killed had agreed to the covenant at Mount Sinai in chapter 20. Today, anyone who says they are a believer or anyone who confesses the name of Jesus subjects themselves to the covenant of Mount Sinai.

Romans 10:5 For Moses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that the person who does the commandments shall live by them. But the righteousness based on faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) “or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

The word Confess is;

G3670   (Strong)

homologeo?

hom-ol-og-eh’-o

From a compound of the base of G3674 and G3056; to assent, that is, covenant, acknowledge: – con- (pro-) fess, confession is made, give thanks, promise.

This word confess does not mean you go around saying the name Jesus out loud. Nor does it mean you believe in your heart Jesus is the Messiah. This word “confess” returns you to the covenant of Mount Sinai and you repent from breaking it. You confess with your mouth, to Yehovah, of your breaking this covenant. Yehovah saves is compressed in the name of Yeh Shua. Yehovah is our redeemer.

Psa_19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O Jehovah, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Isa_41:14 Do not fear, worm of Jacob and men of Israel; I will help you, says Jehovah, and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

Isa_43:14 So says Jehovah, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all of them as fugitives, and the Chaldeans, whose shout is in the ships.

Isa_44:6 So says Jehovah, the King of Israel, and His redeemer Jehovah of Hosts; I am the first, and I amthe last; and besides Me there is no God.

Isa_44:24 So says Jehovah, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb, I am Jehovah who makes all things; who stretches out the heavens alone; who spreads out the earth; who was with Me?

It is Yehovah alone who has created all things. Not Yehovah and Yehshua. Not Yehovah and the Holy Ghost! You just read it with your own eyes, Yehovah is the creator and He alone is our redeemer.

Isa_47:4 Our Redeemer, Jehovah of Hosts is His name, the Holy One of Israel.

Isa_48:17 So says Jehovah, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, I am Jehovah your God who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.

Isa_49:7 So says Jehovah, the Redeemer of Israel, His Holy One, to Him whom man despises, to Him whom the nation hates, the servant of rulers: Kings shall see and arise, rulers also shall worship, because of Jehovah who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, and He shall choose You.

Can you imagine, people and nations hate and despise Yehovah, our Redeemer. Do you also despise Him? Do you also not want to keep His commandments and His Holy Sabbaths-the weekly Sabbath, the Holy Days of Lev 23 and the Sabbatical years?

Isa_49:26 And I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh; and they shall be drunk with their own blood, as with sweet wine; and all flesh shall know that I Jehovah am your Savior and your Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Read that again. Yehovah is our Savior and our Redeemer. Selah. Pause and think about this. It is huge. Now consider the other verse in Isaiah.

Isa 43:11 I, even I, Jehovah; and beside me there is no saviour.

Hos 13:4 Yet I am Jehovah your God from the land of Egypt, and you shall know no God but Me. For there is no Savior besides Me.

Returning to our verses on the Redeemer;

Isa_54:5  For your Maker is your husband; Jehovah of Hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; the God of the whole earth shall He be called.

Isa_54:8 In a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you, says Jehovah your Redeemer.

Isa_59:20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and to those who turn from transgression in Jacob, says Jehovah.

Isa_60:16 You will also suck the milk of nations, and suck the breast of kings; and you will know that I Jehovah am your Savior and your Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Isa_63:16 For You are our Father, though Abraham does not know us, and Israel does not acknowledge us. You, O Jehovah, are our Father, our Redeemer; Your name is from everlasting.

Jer_50:34 Their Redeemer is strong; Jehovah of Hosts, is His name. He shall thoroughly plead their cause, so that he may give rest to the land, and give trouble to the people of Babylon.

Look at just how important the Sabbath is to Yehovah. Just before giving the two stones with the Ten Commandments on them to Moses, Yehovah says this;

Exodus 31:12 And the Lord said to Moses, “You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the Lord, sanctify you. You shall keep the Sabbath, because it is holy for you. Everyone who profanes it shall be put to death. Whoever does any work on it, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death. Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever. It is a sign forever between me and the people of Israel that in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’”
And he gave to Moses, when he had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.

Yehovah gave us the Sabbath as a test and He also gave it to us as a sign.

Ezekiel 20:11 I gave them my statutes and made known to them my rules, by which, if a person does them, he shall live. Moreover, I gave them my Sabbaths, as a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

The Sabbath is a sign and a test commandment. That Sabbath is also mentioned in Lev 23.

Lev 23:1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, These are the appointed feasts of the Lord that you shall proclaim as holy convocations; they are my appointed feasts.
The Sabbath
“Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work. It is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwelling places.

The Sabbath is the first of the appointed times. The first, and then it is followed by Passover on the First day of Unleavened Bread, The Last Day of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles and then the 8th Day Feast, (The real Chanukah). There are 7 Annual Feasts each year. Lev 25 tells us about the 7 Sabbatical years which are followed by the Jubilee year. And then we have the Rest of the 7th Millennium spoken to you in the book of Hebrews.

Hebrews 4:1 Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it. For good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened. For we who have believed enter that rest, as he has said,
“As I swore in my wrath,
‘They shall not enter my rest,’”
although his works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.” And again in this passage he said,
“They shall not enter my rest.”
Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience, again he appoints a certain day, “Today,” saying through David so long afterward, in the words already quoted,
“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts.”
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on. So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Yehovah did not rest on the 1st day of the week, Sunday. Nor did the writer of Hebrew speak to you about entering into the rest on the first day. No, he spoke to those who keep the Sabbath that would be entering the 7th Millennium of rest which is soon to begin.

The question then is; with daylight savings now being changed and the Sabbath starting at sunset Friday evening, will you pass the test each week this winter? Will you embrace the sign that tells Yehovah that you are His. The sign that pisses off Satan that you are no longer part of his kingdom. Satan, after all, is the king of this world for a little while longer and has deceived the whole world into keeping any other day whether it was Sunday or Friday, it does not matter so long as it was not the Sabbath.

Which Kingdom are you a part of; Satan’s Kingdom that does not keep the Sabbath or the Holy Days of the Sabbatical years Or Yehovah’s Kingdom that does keep them?

Isaiah 58:13 “If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath,
from doing your pleasure on my holy day,
and call the Sabbath a delight
and the holy day of the Lord honorable;
if you honor it, not going your own ways,
or seeking your own pleasure, or talking idly;
then you shall take delight in the Lord,
and I will make you ride on the heights of the earth;
I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father,
for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Again in the closing chapter of Isaiah we read about the sign that will be given at the end of days for all to gather around. That sign is the Sabbath, the Holy Days and the Sabbatical Years. And it is this very sign that we are teaching in the coastlands far away right now.

Isaiah 66:17 “Those who sanctify and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one in the midst, eating pig’s flesh and the abomination and mice, shall come to an end together, declares the Lord.
“For I know their works and their thoughts, and the time is coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and shall see my glory, and I will set a sign among them. And from them, I will send survivors to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the coastlands far away, that have not heard my fame or seen my glory. And they shall declare my glory among the nations. And they shall bring all your brothers from all the nations as an offering to the Lord, on horses and in chariots and in litters and on mules and on dromedaries, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the Lord, just as the Israelites bring their grain offering in a clean vessel to the house of the Lord. And some of them also I will take for priests and for Levites, says the Lord.

Will you keep the Sabbath Holy this coming week as the sunset earlier? Will you rejoice in the sign that is given to you or will you trample it with swines flesh as no longer important?

Hebrew 10:26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace?

The blood of Yehshua on the Cross sanctified the covenant to which you now confess to keep when you confess His name. By doing away with the law you trample His death as nothing and you are outraging the Spirit of grace that was extended to you.

I find Ezekiel so prophetic I think you all should read it again before I conclude this section.

Ezekiel 20:10 So I led them out of the land of Egypt and brought them into the wilderness. I gave them my statutes and made known to them my rules, by which, if a person does them, he shall live. Moreover, I gave them my Sabbaths, as a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them. But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness. They did not walk in my statutes but rejected my rules, by which, if a person does them, he shall live; and my Sabbaths they greatly profaned.
“Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them in the wilderness, to make a full end of them. But I acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out. Moreover, I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land that I had given them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most glorious of all lands, because they rejected my rules and did not walk in my statutes, and profaned my Sabbaths; for their heart went after their idols. Nevertheless, my eye spared them, and I did not destroy them or make a full end of them in the wilderness.
“And I said to their children in the wilderness, ‘Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, nor keep their rules, nor defile yourselves with their idols. I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and be careful to obey my rules, and keep my Sabbaths holy that they may be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.’ But the children rebelled against me. They did not walk in my statutes and were not careful to obey my rules, by which, if a person does them, he shall live; they profaned my Sabbaths.
“Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them and spend my anger against them in the wilderness. But I withheld my hand and acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out. Moreover, I swore to them in the wilderness that I would scatter them among the nations and disperse them through the countries, because they had not obeyed my rules, but had rejected my statutes and profaned my Sabbaths, and their eyes were set on their fathers’ idols. Moreover, I gave them statutes that were not good and rules by which they could not have life, and I defiled them through their very gifts in their offering up all their firstborn, that I might devastate them. I did it that they might know that I am the Lord.
“Therefore, son of man, speak to the house of Israel and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: In this also your fathers blasphemed me, by dealing treacherously with me. For when I had brought them into the land that I swore to give them, then wherever they saw any high hill or any leafy tree, there they offered their sacrifices and there they presented the provocation of their offering; there they sent up their pleasing aromas, and there they poured out their drink offerings. (I said to them, What is the high place to which you go?’ So its name is called Bamah to this day.)
“Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: Will you defile yourselves after the manner of your fathers and go whoring after their detestable things? When you present your gifts and offer up your children in fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols to this day. And shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, declares the Lord God, I will not be inquired of by you.
“What is in your mind shall never happen—the thought, Let us be like the nations, like the tribes of the countries, and worship wood and stone.’
The Lord Will Restore Israel
“As I live, declares the Lord God, surely with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with wrath poured out I will be king over you. I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered, with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out. And I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face. As I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will enter into judgment with you, declares the Lord God. I will make you pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant. I will purge out the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against me. I will bring them out of the land where they sojourn, but they shall not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
“As for you, O house of Israel, thus says the Lord God: Go serve every one of you his idols, now and hereafter, if you will not listen to me; but my holy name you shall no more profane with your gifts and your idols.
“For on my holy mountain, the mountain height of Israel, declares the Lord God, there all the house of Israel, all of them, shall serve me in the land. There I will accept them, and there I will require your contributions and the choicest of your gifts, with all your sacred offerings. As a pleasing aroma I will accept you, when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you have been scattered. And I will manifest my holiness among you in the sight of the nations. And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I bring you into the land of Israel, the country that I swore to give to your fathers. And there you shall remember your ways and all your deeds with which you have defiled yourselves, and you shall loathe yourselves for all the evils that you have committed. And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I deal with you for my name’s sake, not according to your evil ways, nor according to your corrupt deeds, O house of Israel, declares the Lord God.”

The testing has now begun and each Friday at Sunset Yehovah will see who is in HIs Kingdom and who is about to die. As always you get to choose where you and your family will end up. Choose wisely, and choose life. Yehovah does not change. He never changed the 7th day Sabbath to the first day of the week nor changed it to just part of the day which has always started at sunset and ends at sunset.

Yes I said the Word Piss

Some of you puritans are going to write me about my use of the word piss in the above article. Before you do, I want you to know that Yehovah also used the same word. If you? about to call me vulgar then you are also calling Yehovah vulgar.

Mashtin  ?????

Several times in the King James Version of the Bible, we find the colorful phrase pisseth against the wall. To piss is to urinate, so the verses referring to someone who “pisseth against the wall” could read “urinates against the wall.” We should note that the word piss is considered vulgar today, and modern Bible translations replace the reference to pissing with something else.

Pisseth against the wall was an idiomatic expression used in ancient Israel. It refers to males, who are the only ones who can urinate against walls. When someone in the Bible refers to someone else pissing against a wall, it’s understood that the person urinating is a male and not a female. Some interpreters detect an added nuance in the phrase. It’s possible that the main reference is to dogs, since male dogs often urinate on vertical surfaces. The application of the phrase to men would then carry the idea that the men in question were ignoble individuals of low character. Saying “I shall discomfit all that pisseth against the wall” would translate into “I’m going to utterly defeat every male, down to the last low-life cur.”

Some biblical characters who used the idiom are David, when he was angry with Nabal: “So and more also do God unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall” (1 Samuel 25:22, KJV). The historian who wrote the book of Kings: “It came to pass, when [Zimri] began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one that pisseth against a wall, neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends” (1 Kings 16:11, KJV). And God Himself, speaking of the pending judgment of Ahab: “The whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall” (2 Kings 9:8, KJV).

Again, it’s mainly the KJV that translates the Hebrew phrase as “pisseth against the wall.” Most other translations simply put “male.” For example, the NIV translates 2 Kings 9:8 as “I will cut off from Ahab every last male in Israel.” The KJV is more literal (the Hebrew does indeed refer to urination), but the NIV and other modern translations do a bit of interpretation in that they render the idiom as “males.”

The Truth about The Holy Spirit

Each week as I do this work I hear from people who tell me the Spirit told me to do this or that. The Spirit told me to tell you this message. Or they say I am led by the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is the only teacher I have.

Each time I hear anyone say this, red flags go off in my mind. Alarms and flashing lights warning me to look out, they are about to tell me something no one can prove because they got this message directly from the “Holy Spirit”, eeewwww

This is, of course, a method used by false brethren to give out information that is virtually impossible to double check or confirm.

And we all know that today Yehovah only talks to these people on the fringe by the Holy Spirit. They will quickly use this verse to justify themselves to you though.

Romans 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

Many use this verse to become those adopted by Yehovah. After all is that not what everyone wants. The trouble is that most of those who claim this adoption never do obey Yehovah. They do not have to keep the law because they are not under the law that is done away. They are led by the spirit.

Galatians 5:18   (TS2009) But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under Torah.

Many modern-day false teachers and those they have led away believe in the Trinity of gods that they follow. There is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Their motto is that they are a Spirit-Led Bible Based Church and they seek to save as many souls as they can.

In the next section of this News Letter, you will learn that it is Yehovah and He alone who puts His laws into the hearts of those He is choosing.

Deut 30:6 And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

Many of these same people forget or maybe never knew what Yehshua said.

John 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day. It is written in the Prophets, And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me—

No one comes to know the truth unless the Father is drawing them. NO ONE!. You cannot convert your husband or your wife. You cannot save your parents or children and you cannot save those people in your church or other groups. You can not save anyone at all. Only Yehovah can draw those whom He has chosen and He does this by writing His Torah on their hearts. At the very best you can help those Yehovah has called. And even some of them will not make it unless you do help them.

Mat 13 The Parable of the Sower
That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat beside the sea. And great crowds gathered about him, so that he got into a boat and sat down. And the whole crowd stood on the beach. And he told them many things in parables, saying: “A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them. Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil, but when the sun rose they were scorched. And since they had no root, they withered away. Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears, let him hear.”
The Purpose of the Parables
Then the disciples came and said to him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” And he answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says:
“‘“You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
For this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears they can barely hear,
and their eyes they have closed,
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and understand with their heart
and turn, and I would heal them.’
But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
The Parable of the Sower Explained
“Hear then the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path. As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away. As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.”

And there are others that Satan sends to lead you away from the truth.

Mat 13:24 The Parable of the Weeds
He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’ But he said, No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, “Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

Satan and his demonic Spirits know the scripture much better than all of those who claim to be spirit led and bible based Christians.

James 2:19 You believe that there is one God, you do well; even the demons believe and tremble.

2 Cor 11:12 And what I am doing I will continue to do, in order to undermine the claim of those who would like to claim that in their boasted mission they work on the same terms as we do. For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

Christians and those who at one time used to be Christian and now claim to be Messianic or Hebrew Roots people, are indeed led by the spirit but which spirit is it? Are they those that look like the true spirit, the tares or are they, in fact, the wheat that has many tares mixed in with it?

Some will claim that I cannot understand them because only those led by the Spirit of God can understand. They are using 1 Cor 2 for this understanding.

1 Corinthians 2:13 which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

But let’s look at it in context.

1 Cor 2:6 Wisdom from the Spirit
Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But, as it is written,
“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,
nor the heart of man imagined,
what God has prepared for those who love him”—
these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.
The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

What is this Holy Spirit of God?

Psalm 51:11 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from your presence,
and take not your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation,
and uphold me with a willing spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
and sinners will return to you.

Isaiah 63:8 For he said, “Surely they are my people,
children who will not deal falsely.”
And he became their Savior.
In all their affliction he was afflicted,
and the angel of his presence saved them;
in his love and in his pity he redeemed them;
he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
But they rebelled
and grieved his Holy Spirit;
therefore he turned to be their enemy,
and himself fought against them.
Then he remembered the days of old,
of Moses and his people.
Where is he who brought them up out of the sea
with the shepherds of his flock?
Where is he who put in the midst of them
his Holy Spirit,
who caused his glorious arm
to go at the right hand of Moses,
who divided the waters before them
to make for himself an everlasting name,
who led them through the depths?
Like a horse in the desert,
they did not stumble.

Psalm 139:1 O LORD, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.
You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.
Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.
If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,”
even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.
For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.

Did you see it? Did you understand what was just shown to you? Unless you are speaking and understand the Hebrew you will not have seen it.

The phrase Ruach HaKodesh is used in the Tanakh and other writings to refer either to the spirit of inspiration as above, or to the general, indwelling revelation of the Divine Presence, also known as the Shekhinah. Although the term appears frequently in post-biblical writings, in Scripture itself, the term appears only in possessive form as rcdq jwr  ruach kodshakha “Thy holy spirit” (Psalms 51:13), and as wcdq jwr  ruach kodsho, “His holy spirit” (Isaiah 63:10,11).

The Holy Spirit is the Shekinah. It is another name for or expression of Yehovah. It is not another being or another god. It is Yehovah. HIs character the same as the soul in you defines who you are. Your character.

Read slowly and carefully what we are told in Ezekiel 36:22 It is Yehovah’s spirit in us that He is placing it there.

I Will Put My Spirit Within You
“Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came. And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes. I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules. You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God. And I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. And I will summon the grain and make it abundant and lay no famine upon you. I will make the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field abundant, that you may never again suffer the disgrace of famine among the nations. Then you will remember your evil ways, and your deeds that were not good, and you will loathe yourselves for your iniquities and your abominations. It is not for your sake that I will act, declares the Lord God; let that be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.

Read it again;

And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.

Now read it once again from Jeremiah 31:33. And this seems to be the go-to verse this week in all I am teaching.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

Now read John 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The word of the Torah is Yehovah and He became flesh and He died on the tree in our stead. He loved us that much. It is His laws that will be written on our hearts in the re-newed covenant that is spoken of in the book of Hebrews.

Hebrews 10:16 And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying,
“This is the covenant that I will make with them
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws on their hearts,
and write them on their minds,”
then he adds,
“I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”

And who is that Holy Spirit that bears witness? It is none other than Yehovah the Shekinah. And who is it that Yehshua says is going to come and dwell in you?

John 14:18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?” Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me.

The Word, the Torah, the Holy Spirit, the Shekinah. Yehovah will come and dwell in your heart. Those who love the Torah, those who keep the Torah are those Yehovah will come and dwell in. These are those who are spirit filled.

So how do you know whether or not the spirit in you is Yehovah or if it is a false spirit or a tare spirit? One that looks like the real thing.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

You test the spirit by opening up your Bibles to see if what it says is found in the scriptures. Does it line up with the word of Yehovah? Many false spirits say the law is done away. This does not line up with the scriptures so it is a false or Tare spirit sent to lead you away from Yehovah. Even an angel’s message should be tested by the word of Yehovah: and much more so men’s teachings, however holy the teachers may seem.

Remember what we just shared with you about confessing the name of Jesus. I will repeat it here again.

The word Confess is;

Again we read in Isaiah about the Holy Spirit that is Yehovah that is going to come and dwell with us.

Isaiah 59:21 “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the LORD, “from now and forever.”

We began this section with the infamous quote from Galatians.

Galatians 5:18   (TS2009) But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under Torah.

Let us now read the whole section knowing that the Spirit being spoken about is that of Yehovah and it is His ways that we are to walk in.

Keep in Step with the Spirit
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. That is we must also walk in the Torah obeying it and keeping it as our way of life. “If we live BY the Spirit, let us also walk  BY the Spirit.” Let our life in practice correspond to the ideal inner principle of our spiritual life, namely, our standing by faith as dead to, and severed from, sin, and the condemnation of the law. “Life by (or ‘in’) the Spirit” is not an occasional influence of the Spirit, but an abiding state, wherein we are continually alive having now chosen to eat from the tree of life by keeping the Torah in all things.

Those who are under the law as Galatians says, those who are not led by the spirit are those who have sinned and continue to sin. Being under the law means you are under the penalty of the law that you have broken. For example;
Many who claim to be Spirit-filled Christians do not keep the Sabbath or the Holy Days. They have broken the 4th Commandment and guilty of doing so. They are under the penalty of the law. They have sinned and are lawless as we are told in 1 John.

1 John 3:4 Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.

Those who are led by the Spirit as Galatians says are not under the law. Exactly, because they are obeying the law and are not subject to the penalty for having broken it. They are led by the Spirit of Yehovah who is now dwelling in them. In you, if you will obey. Yehovah will come and dwell in you and you will be Spirit-led, that is led by His Spirit in you.

When you repent, when you confess, there is that word again. When you confess your sins you admit to having broken the Mount Sinai Covenant and you want to begin to obey and start brand new. But you still have to pay the penalty for having broken the law. Yehovah loved you so much that He came down, He is the Word that John talks about and became flesh. Yehovah died for you on the tree and paid the debt you owed. He did that for you. Now all you have to do is obey and He will come and dwell in you and lead you if you will allow Him to write His laws on your heart. Then you will be spirit led by the True Holy Spirit and not the one that has been lying to you saying the law is done away and you will know it. Repent and bebaptizedd and begin to keep the law.

How to Love God

In a PEW research released in April of 2018, they stated the following.

Pew found that 9 out of 10 adherents in these two groups of Christians affirmed God’s love, omniscience, and omnipresence, compared to about 6 out of 10 Catholics and mainline Protestants. They were also more likely to believe God speaks to them directly and to see him intervening in their lives.

I then found this commentary from 2016 about Lifeway research survey.

Evangelical writer Eric Metaxas remarked on BreakPoint last week that if Americans took a theology exam, their only hope of passing would be if God graded on a curve. He’s right. In knowing both the content of the Bible and the doctrinal foundations of Christianity, we Americans aren’t just at the bottom of our class. We are, as Ross Douthat argues in his book, “Bad Religion,” a nation of heretics.

About this same survey in 2016 is this following comments and the concluding results.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Americans don’t know much about theology. Most say God wrote the Bible. But they’re not sure everything in it is true.

Six in 10 say everyone eventually goes to heaven, but half say only those who believe in Jesus will be saved. And while 7 in 10 say there’s only one true God—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—two-thirds say God accepts worship of all faiths.

Those are among the findings of a new survey of American views on Christian theology from Nashville-based LifeWay Research.

Americans think God likes all religions.

Evangelical believers say hell is for real. Other Americans aren’t so sure.

Many evangelical believers say everybody goes to heaven. They also believe that only those who trust Jesus as their Savior are saved.

Everybody sins but it’s no big deal.

The resurrection really happened. But not everything else in the Bible did.

Americans believe in the Trinity. But it’s complicated.

Americans disagree about sex, abortion, homosexuality, and gender.

Personal salvation takes work.

Withholding communion is frowned upon.

Most Americans don’t buy the prosperity gospel—especially if they have money.

And many of those Christians who do write us are indeed heretics. It is so sad to see it. All you have to do is read some of the comments we have received and posted in our comments section. It is because of the extremely low understanding of the Bible and how ignorant of the Bible those churches are who claim to be teaching it, that has made sightedmoon.com so revolutionary. We have been and continue to teach you what the bible says and dare to quote it along with other matching scriptures and we do our best not to leave any out. And this truly upsets many that call themselves Christians. Their ignorance of the truth is frightening.

Ignorance

IG’NORANCE, n. [L. ignorantia; ignoro, not to know; ignarus, ignorant; in and gnarus, knowing.]

1. Want, absence or destitution of knowledge; the negative state of the mind which has not been instructed in arts, literature or science, or has not been informed of facts. Ignorance may be general, or it may be limited to particular subjects. Ignorance of the law does not excuse a man for violating it. Ignorance of facts if often venial.

We believe what the Bible says and teach others to do the same.

This week in this News Letter we want to now focuss on how to love Yehovah.

We are told of this one question asked of Yehshua.

Mat 22:34 But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

My simple question to you this week is “How do we love Yehovah with all our heart soul and mind?”

Deut 10:12 (TS2009)  “And now, Yisra’el, what is hwhy your Elohim asking of you, but to fear hwhy your Elohim, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, and to serve hwhy your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being,

(YLT)  ‘And now, Israel, what is Jehovah thy God asking from thee, except to fear Jehovah thy God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,

We are being told that Yehovah is asking us to fear Him and to walk in HIs ways and to love Him with our heart souls and our entire being. But that does not answer the question of how do we love Yehovah.

Duet 11:13 “And if you will indeed obey my commandments that I command you today, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, he will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the later rain, that you may gather in your grain and your wine and your oil.

In this verse, we are told that if we keep the commandments and love Yehovah, and serve Him with our hearts and soul, He will give us rain in the proper seasons. Again this does not answer the question of how do we love Yehovah.

Deut 30 is told to us for when we are in other lands. It is while we are in those other lands that we must repent and return to the keeping the laws if we want to receive the blessings of Yehovah.

Deut 30:1 “And when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the Lord your God has driven you, and return to the Lord your God, you and your children, and obey his voice in all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your soul, then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have mercy on you, and he will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you. If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there he will take you. And the Lord your God will bring you into the land that your fathers possessed, that you may possess it. And he will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers. And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. And the Lord your God will put all these curses on your foes and enemies who persecuted you. And you shall again obey the voice of the Lord and keep all his commandments that I command you today. The Lord your God will make you abundantly prosperous in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your womb and in the fruit of your cattle and in the fruit of your ground. For the Lord will again take delight in prospering you, as he took delight in your fathers, when you obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes that are written in this Book of the Law, when you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
The Choice of Life and Death
“For this commandment that I command you today is not too hard for you, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will ascend to heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’ Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’ But the word is very near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can do it.
“See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil. If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you today, by loving the Lord your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules, then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to take possession of it. But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but are drawn away to worship other gods and serve them, I declare to you today, that you shall surely perish. You shall not live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to enter and possess. I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

Did you see this in verse 6?

And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

Yehovah must, first of all, circumcise our hearts in order for us to love Him. WOW. This is huge.

We read Genesis how the outward circumcision of our foreskins represented the covenant with Yehovah. And yes we are to be circumcised today.

Gen 17:1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless, that I may make my covenant between me and you, and may multiply you greatly.” Then Abram fell on his face. And God said to him, “Behold, my covenant is with you, and you shall be the father of a multitude of nations. No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham, for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations. I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make you into nations, and kings shall come from you. And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you. And I will give to you and to your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God.”
And God said to Abraham, “As for you, you shall keep my covenant, you and your offspring after you throughout their generations. This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your offspring after you: Every male among you shall be circumcised. You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you. He who is eight days old among you shall be circumcised. Every male throughout your generations, whether born in your house or bought with your money from any foreigner who is not of your offspring, both he who is born in your house and he who is bought with your money, shall surely be circumcised. So shall my covenant be in your flesh an everlasting covenant. Any uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin shall be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant.”

But now in these last days, we just read how Yehovah is going to circumcise our hearts so that we can love Him. Deut 30:6 This is the circumcision of our inner being. WOW!! This is the very same thing that Jeremiah said was going to happen to us in these last days.

Jer 31:31 “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord.

PSalm 37:27 Turn away from evil and do good;
so shall you dwell forever.
For the LORD loves justice;
he will not forsake his saints.
They are preserved forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
The righteous shall inherit the land
and dwell upon it forever.
The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom,
and his tongue speaks justice.
The law of his God is in his heart;
his steps do not slip.
The wicked watches for the righteous
and seeks to put him to death.
The LORD will not abandon him to his power
or let him be condemned when he is brought to trial.
Wait for the LORD and keep his way,
and he will exalt you to inherit the land;
you will look on when the wicked are cut off.

Did you catch this part?

PSalm 37:31 The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip.

PSalm 40:8  (TS2009) 8  I have delighted to do Your pleasure, O my Elohim, And Your Torah is within my heart.”

Isaiah 51:7 “Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, a people in whose heart is My Torah: do not fear the reproach of men, nor be afraid of their revilings.

Ezekiel 11:19   (TS2009)  “And I shall give them one heart, and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,

Ezekiel 36:25-27   (TS2009) 25  “And I shall sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean – from all your filthiness and from all your idols I cleanse you. “And I shall give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I shall give you a heart of flesh, and put My Spirit within you.a And I shall cause you to walk in My laws and guard My right-rulings and shall do them.

Zechariah 13:9   (TS2009) “And I shall bring the third into fire, and refine them as silver is refined, and try them as gold is tried. They shall call on My Name,b and I shall answer them. I shall say, ‘This is My people,’ while they say, ‘???? is my Elohim.’ ”

Romans 7:22   (TS2009)  For I delight in the Torah of Elohima according to the inward man,

This just gets better and better. The more I search for how to love Yehovah the more I am being shown these other truths. Here is more from Romans

Romans 8:2-8   (TS2009)For the torah of the Spirit of the life in Messiah Yehshua has set me free from the torah of sin and of death. For the Torah being powerless, in that it was weak through the flesh, Elohim, having sent His own Son in the likeness of flesh of sin, and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh, so that the righteousness of the Torah should be completed in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the matters of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the matters of the Spirit. For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace. Because the mind of the flesh is enmity towards Elohim, for it does not subject itself to the Torah of Elohim, neither indeed is it able, and those who are in the flesh are unable to please Elohim.

2 Corintian 3:1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some do, letters of recommendation to you, or from you? You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all. And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

In the first section this week we spoke to you about the Sabbath and we talked about entering into that 7th Millennial rest. Here again in Hebrews 8 and again in Hebrew 10:16 the writer is talking about what is written on our hearts in these last days and is quoting Jeremiah.

Heb 10:16 And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying,
“This is the covenant that I will make with them
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws on their hearts,
and write them on their minds,”
then he adds,
“I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”
Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin.

The forgiveness of sins means there no longer is any need of a sacrifice. Exactly!!!

Heb 10:26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.

But if you go on sinning then you will need a sacrifice to atone for that sin. But that debt is paid for. Yes if you repent. If you do not repent then you are trampling over the blood of Yehshua who did pay your debt price for you. That is if you want to claim it. Which mean you must repent and let Yehovah write His Torah on your heart.

Exciting isn’t it. Now how do we love Yehovah?

1 John 5:1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

The love of Yehovah is to guard His commandments. That is so simple to understand. We must keep the commandments if we are to show Yehovah we love Him. And when we do this, when we show Yehovah we love Him, when we guard and keep the commandments Yehovah does something for us in return.

Here is the grace that so many talk about but have no understanding of

Exodus 20:5 & Deut 5:10 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

Deuteronomy 7:9   (TS2009) “And you shall know that Yehovah your Elohim, He is Elohim, the trustworthy El guarding covenant and loving-commitment for a thousand generations with those who love Him, and those who guard His commands,

Daniel 9:4   (TS2009) And I prayed to Yehovah my Elohim, and made confession, and said, “O Yehovah, great and awesome El, guarding the covenant and the loving-commitment to those who love Him, and to those who guard His commands.

John 14:15   (TS2009)  “If you love Me, you shall guard My commands.

John 14:21 Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me.

John 15:10   (TS2009)  “If you guard My commands, you shall stay in My love,a even as I have guarded My Father’s commands and stay in His love.

2 John 1:6   (TS2009) And this is the love, that we walk according to His commands.a This is the command, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.

1 John 2:3 And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.

I guess 1 John 2:3 proves that survey correct that we led off with. That most of those who call themselves Christian and who claim to believe in God and love God are indeed heretics and are not followers of the Messiah. And if that is true then who are the Christians following. They are following those who come dressed as an angel of light but who are not.

If Yehshua was here today He would say the following to all those who claim to be Christians the same as He did to the Jews of His day.

John 8:39 They answered him, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would be doing the works Abraham did, but now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. This is not what Abraham did. You are doing the works your father did.” They said to him, “We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father—even God.” Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me. Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me. Which one of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.”

Again in the last days if we do not obey Yehovah we will be in Tribulation and even then He has promised to rescue us IF we search for Him with our entire heart and our entire soul and we will find Him.

Deut 4:25 “When you father children and children’s children, and have grown old in the land, if you act corruptly by making a carved image in the form of anything, and by doing what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God, so as to provoke him to anger, I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that you will soon utterly perish from the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess. You will not live long in it, but will be utterly destroyed. And the Lord will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the Lord will drive you. And there you will serve gods of wood and stone, the work of human hands, that neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice. For the Lord your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them.

The Holy Spirit is given to those who keep the commandments and love Yehovah.

1 John 3:24 Whoever keeps His commandments remains in God, and God in him. And by this we know that He remains in us: by the Spirit He has given us.

    Greetings Sightedmoon family,
I went out to see if I could spot crescent moon. Was a splended night to be out looking. Spotted it around 5:12pm as clear as a picture. Lewis Spencer also witnessed the crescent moon same time. Always a blessing to go out and take part whether it means much other than to practice the command or not. Great way to keep the wicks trimmed in our lamps.
Love out to the brethren from Truro NS, Canada
    Shabbat Shalom All!!!!

    Greetings Joseph,
You wrote: “Today, anyone who says they are a believer or anyone who confesses the name of Jesus subjects themselves to the covenant of Mount Sinai.”
But are you not aware that the Old Mount Sinai Covenant was broken and is now gone?
Jer 31:32 NOT LIKE the covenant which I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant WHICH THEY BROKE (parar #H6565). The Septuagint has “disregarded” and the Hebrew text has “annulled”.
H6565 parar – to break, violate, make void, defeat, disannul, cause to cease, dissolved.
The Torah is eternal (Ps 111:7-8, Mt 5:18) but the Old Covenant was not. Don’t confuse the Torah with the covenant. The Torah is a part of the covenant, it is in the covenant but it is not the covenant.
The verses you quote regarding the covenant that Yahweh will never forget or allow to be annulled is not the Old Sinai Covenant but the covenant with Abraham. Check the verses that follow immediately after the verses you quote.
You wrote: “The blood of Yehshua on the Cross sanctified the covenant to which you now confess to keep when you confess His name.”
Mt 26:28 “For this is My blood of the NEW covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
Do we believe Yahshua knew the Old Covenant was gone and he was sent to bring in the prophesied New Covenant. You don’t confess to keep a covenant but confess to keep the torah in the New Covenant.
Notice Yahshua never said “My blood of the renewed (#2537) covenant” but the NEW (#303) covenant.
#2537 ~ kainos: Always translated “new.”
#341 – anakainoo: from 303 and a derivative of 2537; always translated “renew.”
If he meant renewed he would have said renewed but he did not.
You wrote: “When you confess your sins you admit to having broken the Mount Sinai Covenant and you want to begin to obey and start brand new.” Which is correct, A or B?
    A) 1Jo 3:4 Sin is the transgression of the law.
    B) Sin is the transgression of the covenant.
Sin is not breaking the Old Covenant which the scriptures say is now void but sin is breaking the torah that is in the New Covenant. Of course in time past sin was breaking the torah that was in the Old Covenant. I believe you’re confusing commandments/torah with the actual covenant.

    Greeting again Joseph,
You wrote: “Now read John 1:1
The word of the Torah is Yehovah and He became flesh and He died on the tree in our stead. He loved us that much. It is His laws that will be written on our hearts in the re-newed covenant that is spoken of in the book of Hebrews.”
Why do people keep reading John chapter 1 and neglecting what it actually says while telling us what it doesn’t say?
    LOGOS
#3056 logos; [from #3004 legw, to say, speak, teach, command, direct, call, name]; Definition: of speech, a word, uttered by a living voice, what someone has said, discourse, the act of speaking, speech, the faculty of speech, skill and practice in speaking, the thing spoken of or talked about.
    What is more correct?
    1] In the beginning was “the voice of Elohim,” and “the voice of Elohim” was with Elohim, and “the voice of Elohim” was Elohim;
    2] In the beginning was “the Son,” and “the Son” was with Elohim, and “the Son” was Elohim;
In order for number 2 to be correct we would have to say Yahshua, or the Son, was with himself or with another Elohim, which would contradict both the Old Testament (OT) and the New Testament (NT), as well as disregard the true definition of the Greek word “logos.” Whereas in #1, Elohim’s word or voice was with Him, this makes perfect sense. My word is with me, it is me and I am responsible for it. If I speak a word that is offensive, like threatening someone’s life, my word is not arrested, I am, although my word has to go to jail also because it is me. Did you ever hear these sayings: You’re only as good as your word; He’s a man of his word; Take him at his word? These and many other sayings point out that a man and his word are identical, indistinguishable and thus inseparable.
Yahweh said, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please” (Isa 55:11).
It has been stated for so long that John was telling us the word was the Son that we don’t even stop and look at the meaning of the “word.” Logos is not the second person of the Trinity like we have been told since the 4th century, it is Yahweh’s speech or commands, or His voice.
Ps 33:6 By the WORD of Yahweh were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. 9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the WORD of Elohim, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
2Pe 3:5 By the WORD of Elohim the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
Ro 4:17 Elohim, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth *(kaleo) those things which be not as though they were.
*#2564 kaleo: to call aloud, utter in a loud voice.
Yahweh speaks, calls, or commands with His voice words that bring into being whatever His word so specifies, He said, “My word… shall accomplish that which I please” (Is 55:11). Things that do not yet exist but are predestined to be only await His word and then they are.
Before the KJV many of the early English translations understood the word to be an “it” and not a “he.”
WILLIAM TYNDALE (1526) based upon the Hebrew and Greek John 1:3-4 reads, “All things were made by it, and without it, was made nothing that was made. In it was life, and the life was the light of men.”
THOMAS MATTHEW (real name John Rogers, 1537) based on Tyndale and Coverdale, dubbed Matthew’s Bible, uses “it” in John 1:3-4.
GREAT BIBLE (1539), this was a revised edition of Matthew’s Bible prepared by Miles Coverdale, uses “it” instead of “him.” The Great Bible was the first English version to be authorized and was instructed to be placed in every church.
GENEVA BIBLE (1560) John 1:3-4 reads “it” instead of “him.” For nearly a century it was the standard bible in most homes in England and the colonies and the first to have numbered verses.
BISHOP’S BIBLE (1568) translated for it’s name sake has John 1:3-4 using “it,” not “him.”
After the King James all future versions used “him” instead of “it.”
How did this belief that Elohim’s “word” was a separate individual creep into the Roman church and thus get passed on to us?
A Greek philosopher named Heraclitus (600 B.C.E.) used the term Logos to designate the divine reason or plan which controls the universe, Stoicism (Greek school of philosophy) conceived it as a rational divine power that orders and directs the universe, it is identified with God. Philo of Alexandria (around 20 B.C.E.-45 C.E.) employed it to blend Jewish tradition and Platonism, as a mediating principle between God and the world and can be understood as God’s Word or the Divine Wisdom. Early Christian theologians developed the conception of Messiah as the Logos in explicitly Platonic terms. (Microsoft (R) Encarta)
Elohim’s word was made whatever He commanded it to be. Elohim’s word was made light, Elohim’s word was made grass, Elohim’s word was made sun and moon and finally Elohim’s word was made flesh. Yahshua was not Yahweh or Yahweh’s word or with Yahweh when Yahweh created the universe, Yahshua was begotten through Mary by Yahweh’s word, as was everything else. Yes indeed, in Ps 2:7 Yahweh declared, spoke, or commanded the decree, statute, ordinance, or law for His Son to be “Made of a woman, made under the law” (Ga 4:4). Yahweh spoke the word and the Holy Spirit came upon Mary and the power of the Highest overshadowed her (Lu 1:35).
I see “the word” as being the voice or commands of Yahweh because of these verses [Gen 1:3, 6, 9, 11, 14, 20, 24,26; Isa 55:5; Ps 33:6 & 9, 148:5; Ro 4:17; Heb 11:3] The Bible only teaches that “the word” means Yahweh’s voice and this verse also.
Ps 2:7 I will declare the decree: Yahweh hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Yahweh announces or issues an order or statute that Yahshua is to be His Son.
Jer 10:12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.13 When he UTTERETH HIS VOICE, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causes the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth.
The scriptures tell us “wisdom” created the world (Pr 3:19, Ps 104:24, 136:5). Is wisdom a person? But it also tells us “knowledge” made the world (Pr 3:20), it tells us “understanding” created the world (Pr 3:19, Jer 51:15), it tells us “power” made everything (Jer 32:17, 51:15), and of course “the word of Yahweh” created everything (Ps 33:6.)
All these things (notice I say things) were employed by Yahweh to create. I ask, is the word a person anymore than wisdom, knowledge, understanding or power?
So let’s look at John 1:14
KJV And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.
RSV And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
NIV The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.
EGNT And the Word flesh became and tabernacled among us.
As you can see the RSV, EGNT and NIV say, “became,” and some take this to mean the word turned into or changed into flesh, believing the pagan, incarnation fable. But this exact same Greek word ginomai (#1096) is used in verse 3. “All things were made (ginomai) by it; and without it was not anything made (ginomai) that was made (ginomai).” If they want ginomai to mean created, or to bring into existence, they should be consistent. They can’t pretend ginomai means “created” in verse 3 and then decide it means “turned into” in verse 14.
Ro 1:3 Concerning his Son Yahshua Messiah our Master, which was made (ginomai) of the seed of David according to the flesh.
Ga 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, Elohim sent forth his Son, made (ginomai) of a woman, made (ginomai) under the law.
1Sa 15:10 Then came the word of Yahweh unto Samuel, saying.
This is what you read dozens of times in the Bible, Then came the word of Yahweh unto so-and-so, saying. Saying, spoke, commanded, heard, breathed, and voice all show “the word” is what Yahweh says.
“The word of Yahweh” and “the voice of Yahweh” are one and the same thing. There are many verses that have “the voice of Yahweh” instead of “the word of Yahweh.”
Heb 12:19 The sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words (rhema); which voice they (Israelites at Sinai) that heard intreated that the word (logos) should not be spoken to them any more: 20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded.
We don’t even stop and look at the meaning of the word “word” just because we have been told all our lives that John was telling us the word was the Son. But that doesn’t made it right.
Ps 2:7 I will declare the decree: Yahweh hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
When Yahweh uttered those words with His voice The words were made flesh and dwelt among us.
    Shalom,
    David Smith

Shabbat Shalom to all the family,
Thank you, Joseph. This week’s newsletter is enlightening, as they often are.
And I do appreciate your moral support of my efforts to spread the Word here in Cambodia. Though, after seeing my message to you in the newsletter, I think it might be misleading.
My brother-in-law, has no knowledge of Torah, yet!
He has only agreed to make some changes to come into line with MY commitment to keep the Sabbaths. I have begun to introduce the Bible to him at the level he is at. And at the moment, he is only going along with this because he can’t understand why he keeps having “bad luck”.
I got his attention by telling him that it is not bad luck but the result of going against God. I said that if he is willing to follow my example of resting on the Sabbaths, that I would partner with him in farming the land and raising goats. He also must get rid of the pigs. He agreed. And he agreed to not do business or work on the Sabbath, not because he knows anything about it but, only because I made it a condition of my participation.
I have great hopes for this, but I may have made it seem more than it really is.
I am putting everything on the line here hoping and praying that Yehovah will bless our baby steps and show my brother-in-law that He keeps His word. As time goes on I will have many issues to address. Burning incense and offering food to Buddhist statues and food laws. But for now, I am dealing with the Sabbath and proper use of the land.
My Brother-in-llaw is the only member of the family who can read and he has had no interest in picking up the Bible. My prayer is that this tiny step will prove fruitful for him and inspire him to take an active interest in learning about and obeying God. It is a very tiny crack that I must work to pry open and let in the light.
As for his nephew, he has only agreed to work with us according to the terms I have specified. He needs a job and he’s young. I can only hope that he will learn by example.
Everybody knows that I lock my doors on Friday evening. Now, with my Brother-in-law changing his farming practices and not working on the Sabbath, perhaps they will begin to take an interest in why.
I am truly honored to be doing this. It would never have been possible without Yehovah. So, I have to believe that He has a plan that involves me. Wow! What a blessing!
By the way, I was told that the Christian group will be here tomorrow. If that’s true, I will go to their meeting. Apparently, there is one member who speaks English. I pray that I might meet him and that he is being called to the Truth.
Please, Everyone pray for Cambodia and for my little effort to help them return to Yehovah.
    Shalom

As I finished up this weeks article my mind drifts to last weeks Newsletter. I am always amazed at how brethren can take something as Holy as knowing the name of our Creator and use it as a stumbling block for others.
I’ve experienced this more than I can count the times I learned something new that didn’t fully come to me until something happened to peel off another scale from my eyes.
I had a full week of talking with people about Nehemia Gordon’s stance on Yehshua being the Messiah or not and defending his research about the name of Father. What I not understand is how anyone would not take into consideration hard core facts about his research because of his beliefs about certain things. It was actually as I was sharing with a sister it come upon me like a stone wall falling on me. Maybe it because he is closer to the root Truth of things than the onse rejecting his teaching on this subject. The Aleph Tab deception came to mind and I shared it with the sister all along praising Yehovah for giving me insight to why someone with such truth not accept Yehshua as the Messiah. I need to say this is only my opinion but I base it on the Truths I learned here on the Sightedmoon.com website. It no surprise to me that it be from our own teacher Mr. Dumond Yehovah would prove the Sabbatical and Jubilee Calendar to him. What awesome possibilities are in store for us now this has been proven to Mr. Gordon. Exiting to ponder.
I thought that some of you might like to hear my thoughts about this as I have spoken with a few people that were wondering themselves how a scholar such as Nehemiah not see Yehshua as Messiah

Let me assure you all. That the Messiah chritianity presents that does not keep the Torah is not the one any of us should be following. BUt do know Nehemia knows the Messiah better than all Christians and many Messianic brethren. Study the Torah in order o know Him as well or you like many others will be told begone I never knew you. Those who are lawless do not know the Messiah. Nehemia does know the law and studies it and teaches it. Those who reject the things Nehemia teaches because he does not believe in Jesus are the real fools, rejecting knowledge that would help them to grow closer to the Messiah.

In the beginning of the newsletter we read that the children of Israel were to stay in their own tents to keep the Sabbarh. Today most folks I know that say they are keeping Sabbath go to a fellowship. I did that for a while but just didn’t feel very rested. It was actually stressful. I want to love Yehovah and keep his commandments but this one is where we start. The new testament states Yeshua was in the temple “as was his custom”. Was it his custom only on the 3 feast days or was it taught by the Pharasees that sat in the seat of Moses every Shabbat?
This really is confusing to me . There was a literal temple that the Israelites put up and carried with them, yet Yehovah told them to stay in their own tent on Shabbat, not go to the temple. So why do so many do that now. It just seems like it feels like going to church…which was also very stressful. I really don’t get it. When did the rules change? Are we supposed to go to be with other Torah keepers in order to fulfill the commandment to keep the Sabbath a seperated day of rest?

    Greeting Joseph,
Thanks for the link to your study.
    https://sightedmoon.com/i-am-yehovah-and-beside-me-there-is-no-savior-this-is-your-wake-up-call/
I’m not sure if you are aware of Oneness Pentecostalism (United Pentecost Church) but you just stated something very close to their primary doctrine.
You wrote: “Yehshua is telling Philip that He, Yehshua was also the Father. They are the same, not two and not three. But one and the same person.”
Let me just start off by stating unequivocally that there is and always will be only ONE Elohim (just to let you know I myself use Elohim instead of God). This one and only Elohim about 2000 years ago had a son through Mary. Let’s exam what Yahshua told Philip by first going back to John chapter 6.
Jn.6:46 Not that any man has seen (horao) the Father, except he who is of Elohim, he has seen (horao) the Father.
What is Yahshua telling us, that he literally saw Yahweh with his human eyes? Yahweh has said, “You can not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live” (Ex 33:20). Yahshua was a man and subject to death so how could he see the invisible Yahweh (Col 1:15) and live?
Jn 15:21 “But all these things they will do to you for my name’s sake, because they do not know (oida) Him who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 He who hates me hates my Father also. 24 If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen (horao) and also hated both me and my Father.”
Yet here Yahshua appears to contradict what he said in 6:46, for he tells us not only he himself has seen (horao) the Father but the world also has “both seen (horao) and hated” Him. To correctly see (understand) what is what, we must check out the Greek words.
#3708 horao; KJV – see 51, take heed 5, behold 1, perceive 1, not tr 1; total 59; Definition: to see with the eyes, see with the mind, to perceive, know, to experience, to take heed, beware, to care for.
#1492 oida or eido; KJV – know 281, cannot tell + 3756 8, know how 7, wist 6, misc 19, see 314, behold 17, look 6, perceive 5, vr see 3, vr know 1; total 667; Definition: to see or perceive with the eyes or any of the senses, notice, discern, discover, to pay attention, observe, to inspect, examine, to look at, behold, to visit, to know, i.e. get knowledge of, understand.
#1097 ginosko; KJV – know 196, perceive 9, understand 8, misc 10; total 223; Definition: perceive, understand, learn to know, get knowledge of, perceive, feel, become acquainted with.
    W. E. Vine: “The differences between ginosko (1097) and oida (1492) demand consideration: ginosko, frequently suggests inception or progress in knowledge, while oida suggests fulness of knowledge.” Example: “Ye (Jews) have not known (ginosko) him; but I know (oida) him”, i.e.. ‘know him perfectly; (Jn 8:55).” (Vine’s Expository Dictionary)
The Jews couldn’t truly see or know Yahweh but Yahshua knew Him perfectly.
So in Jn 15:21-24 above, Yahshua is saying that the Jews didn’t perfectly know (oida) the Father but because of the extraordinary works that he displayed they couldn’t help but be aware he was of Elohim and so ignorance will not excuse them from this sin of rejecting both the Father and His Son. Now onto Philip’s request.
John 14:7 “If you had known (ginosko) me, you would have known (ginosko) my Father also; and from now on you know (ginosko) Him and have seen (horao) Him.” 8 Philip said to him, “Master, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” 9 Yahshua said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known (ginosko) me, Philip? He who has seen (horao) me has seen (horao) the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who dwells in me does the works.
Now we should be able to understand it was not an actual bodily sighting of the Father (see definitions above), but a mental awareness of the Father’s characteristics that they were observing (See Ac 8:23 where horao is used). How can we be sure Yahshua is speaking of a mental not a visual picture? Look at this verse, “No man has seen Elohim at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him” (Jn 1:18). In order for us to see the Father, Yahshua has had to declare Him, he didn’t draw a picture or say that he himself was the Father but declared Him in words and deeds. That is why he was able to say “and from henceforth you have seen him.” Consider it said that the disciples saw Yahweh. To further confirm this, when Yahshua spoke to Philip he used the word ‘know’ (ginosko) four times, he expected they would by now be acquainted and identify with him and his Father, that they would understand the Father and Son. Our English word “see” can also be used to stand in for words such as know, distinguish, perceive, understand, observe, grasp, comprehend, refer to, consider, investigate, realize, and get the message, no pun intended. Look at how Yahshua explains what seeing and knowing are.
Mt 13:13 “Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.14 “And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not know (oida).
So, in Jn 14:8-10 he isn’t saying what you are looking at is the Father, because even Oneness say that His body was the Son not the Father and Oneness believe the Father is spirit and the Son is the human man. Yahshua doesn’t say he is the Father but ends the passage by saying, “the Father that dwells in me” (vs. 10).
Why do some insist this passage says the Son is the Father, one person? We could assume this to be one of the meanings you could draw from it even thought it doesn’t say that. In a large percentage of the uses of horao it is translated, “See you tell no man” or “see that you be not troubled.” Not in the sense of seeing with the eyes but seeing with the mind. Read this next verse.
Jn 16:25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall show (anaggello) you plainly of the Father.
#312 anaggello; KJV – tell 6, show 6, declare 3, rehearse 1, speak 1, report 1; total 18; Definition: to announce, make known, to report, bring back tidings, rehearse.
Wow, now he says, since they’re slow to grasp his meanings, I’m going to describe the Father plainly, nice and slow and clear. His choice of words is anaggello, a word taken directly from the Greek word for angel or messenger, aggelos. After all he is Yahweh’s messenger, his mission is to manifest the Father. Apparently the disciples had not seen, or should we say understood, of the Father completely but were soon to be shown more of the Father. In Jn 15:24 Yahshua says the world has seen the Father through his words and deeds and we also can say we have seen the Father by listening to the words of His Son.
Yahshua also says in 14:10, “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?” Many think for him to be in the Father must make him the Father. Read the next verses.
Jn 14:20 I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
Jn 17:21 That they all may be one; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us.
Joh 17:22 The glory which you give me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Jn 17:23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be made perfect in one.
We are in the Father, the Father is in us, the Son is in the Father, we are in the Son and so forth, but are we all one? Does this make us all one person? Everybody says of course not! Does it make the Father and Son one person? Oneness, without thinking, automatically says, yes of course!
Then to Philip he follows that up with, “The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.” The prophets and apostles did not speak on their own but spoke what the Father gave them through His spirit so are you going to claim Isaiah is the Father or that Peter is the Father.
1Co 6:17 He that is joined unto the Master is one spirit.
Remember there is only one spirit, the Father. If we are in the one spirit and the one spirit is in us we are one, but not one person.
Finally we turn to 3Jo 1:11, “He that does good is of Elohim: but he that does evil has not seen (horao) Elohim.” John used the word horao here just as he did to describe the exchange between Yahshua and Philip. Those that do good understand and know Elohim even though we have yet to see Him with our physical eyes. But John says those that do evil (that is the world) “Have not seen Elohim.” However at the top of this subject in Jn 15:24 he wrote that Yahshua said the world has “Both seen (horao) and hated both me and my Father.” How can the world see and yet not see? The answer is in the wide range the English word “see” and the Greek word “horao” both encompass. Yahshua could say the world couldn’t help but see the physical works he performed had to be divine, despite the fact they were in denial and deceived by their own lust and power by the flesh. Whereas John points out that to see Elohim, not physical acts performed by His servants, but to perceive Him with your heart and spirit and mind leads one to do good not evil deeds.
Joseph wrote: “Read these verses again. Besides Yehovah THERE IS NO SAVIOR. So who is Yehshua?”
Very good question for the Father Yahweh is called “Saviour” in many passages including 2Sa 22:3; Ps 106:21; Isa 43:3 & 11, 45:15 & 21. Yahshua, the Son of Yahweh, is also called “Saviour” in Lu 2:11, Phi 3:20, 2Ti 1:10, Tit 1:4. How can both be saviour and both receive the credit for saving us? Look at the following analogy.
In Acts 12:1-17 Herod kills James (John’s brother) and throws Peter in prison. The assembly of believers pray for Peter’s release (vs 5 & 12). An angel appears in prison and saves Peter leading him out of the prison to freedom (vs 7-10). Who was Peter’s saviour? Clearly the angel was for it’s there in black and white. But, Peter says to himself: “Now I know for certain that Yahweh has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod” (vs 11). But he later tells believers “He declared to them how Yahweh had brought him out of the prison” (vs 17). So, it’s very easy for us to accept that the angel was a servant or instrument used by Yahweh to save Peter and that the principal source of Peter’s salvation was not the angel but Elohim. You even can acknowledge in this passage that the word ‘sent’ actually means ‘sent’ but will not accept that Yahweh sent someone other then himself to save us. Then I suppose ‘sent’ means ‘came’? What do you do with John 3:16?
Joh 8:42 Yahshua said to them, “If Elohim were your Father, you would love me, for I proceeded forth and came from Elohim; NOR HAVE I COME OF MYSELF, BUT HE SENT ME.
1Jo 4:14 We have seen and testify that the Father has SENT THE SON AS SAVIOR of the world.
But in these two scriptures many believe ‘sent’ means came and that Elohim Himself came down and died for our salvation. The truth is, we have two saviours, just as Peter did. Yahweh is our ultimate source of salvation and Yahshua is the Saviour Elohim used to save us. In Ac 5:31, 13:23 and Isa 19:20 it tells us that Yahweh made His Son a saviour. Yahshua said he himself could not save anyone or anything, insisting all the saving power is from Yahweh.
Jn 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing.
Jn 14:10 The Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Yahshua the Messiah is the chosen Saviour, sent by our Heavenly Father Yahweh to bring us to Himself. Simeon, a just and devout Jew, cried out to Yahweh at Yahshua’s circumcision, “My eyes have seen THY salvation, which you have prepared” (Lu 2:30).
Ac 5:31 Him (Yahshua vs 30) hath Elohim exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and A SAVIOUR, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Ac 13:23 Of this man’s seed (David vs 22) hath Elohim according to his promise raised unto Israel A SAVIOUR, Yahshua.
Eph 5:2 Messiah also has loved us and given himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to Elohim for a sweet–smelling aroma.
“Whosoever shall call on the name of Yahweh shall be saved” (Joel 2:32, Ac 2:21, Ro 10:13). Joel, Peter and Paul all made this declaration. When you call upon the name of Yahshua you are asking for salvation from Yahweh. You all should know the meaning of the name Yahshua, which is: ‘Yahweh is salvation.’ Yahweh, speaking of His future Son, calls Messiah “My salvation.” “I will also give you for a light to the Gentiles, that you may be MY SALVATION unto the end of the earth” (Isa 49:6, quoted in Ac 13:47). Paul calls Yahweh “saviour” many times but he also describes Yahshua as saviour many times as well, distinguishing the two as separate beings.
    1Ti 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Yahshua Messiah by the commandment of Elohim our Saviour, and Master Yahshua Messiah, which is our hope;
The same can be said for the term “redeemer,” for Yahweh is given this title in Ps 19:14, Is 47:4 and Jer 50:34, whereas Yahshua is said to have redeemed us in Ga 3:13, Ep 1:7 and Rev 5:9. Yahweh redeemed us by using the sacrifice of His own Son and Yahshua redeemed us by not doing his own will but obediently following the will of his Father. Ro 3:24-26, 1Co 1:28-30, 2Co 5:18-21 and Col 1:12-14 clearly demonstrates that Yahweh did the orchestrating while Yahshua just followed orders. Redeem means: “to liberate by payment of ransom.”
1Pe 1:18-19 Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold
but with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
Lu 1:68 Blessed be Yahweh Elohim of Israel; for he has visited and redeemed his people.
2Co 5: 18 All things are of Elohim, who has reconciled us TO HIMSELF BY YAHSHUA Messiah, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that Elohim was in Messiah, reconciling the world unto himself.
Dear brother this is such a simple concept that you are missing. If you can’t see this then you are completing missing the meaning of the tabernacle and the sacrifices. And eventually you’ll have to throw out the Book of Hebrews like some have already done that are following this false doctrine.
Joseph wrote: “Again this is what Isaiah has said “Behold, this is our Elohim; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is Yehovah; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.” – Isaiah 25:9”
After reading that verse Joe have you ever asked yourself who is “HIS SALVATION?” Isaiah later explains in this Messianic prophecy.
Is 49: 5 “And now Yahweh says, Who formed me from the womb to be HIS SERVANT, To bring Jacob back to Him, So that Israel is gathered to Him (For I shall be glorious in the eyes of Yahweh and my Elohim shall be my strength), 6 Indeed He (Yahweh) says, ‘It is too small a thing that you should be MY SERVANT to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be MY SALVATION to the ends of the earth.’”
1Ti 2:5 For there is one Elohim and one mediator between Elohim and men, the man Messiah Yahshua
This is pretty elementary stuff and the Bible is plastered with it.
Joseph wrote: “It was on the Feast of Trumpets in 3 B.C. that Elohim With US was born just as Isaiah said he would be.”
We read in (Isa 7:14, Mt 1:23) Yahshua would also be called Immanuel (or Emmanuel), meaning “Elohim with us,” or “El with us.” Because of this many are taught that Yahshua is “Elohim,” however, look at it after reading Ac 10:38, “How Yahweh anointed Yahshua of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for Yahweh (El) was with him.” Immanuel does not imply Yahshua was El, but that El was with and in Yahshua. Consider the name Jehu (Yahhue), in Hebrew, this name means, “He is Yah” or “Yah is He,” does that mean the men named Jehu are all, in reality, Yahweh? Of course not, we all must study using the common sense Yahweh gave us.
Mt 1:23 They shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, Elohim with us.
Jn 8:29 He that sent me is with me: the Father has not left me alone.
Jn 14:10 The Father that dwelleth in me, he does the works.
Jn 16:32 Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
2Co 5:19 To wit, that Elohim was in Messiah, reconciling the world unto himself.
Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of diety bodily.
Since Immanuel means Elohim is with us and since Yahshua was named Immanuel and he was with us, does it automatically means he is Elohim? Can this be the only explanation of Immanuel? Does this mean Elohim was never with man before Bethlehem and since Yahshua has ascended to heaven Elohim is not with us now? Was Elohim IN the Son or was He the Son? In the OT Yahweh repeatedly told the Hebrew children He was with them in just those exact words.
Nu 14:9 Only rebel not against Yahweh, neither fear the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and Yahweh is with us: fear them not.
1Ki 8:57 Yahweh our Elohim be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us.
2Ch 13:12 Behold, Elohim himself is with us for our captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you.
Isa 8:10 Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for Elohim is with us.
2Ch 32:8 With him (king of Assyria) is an arm of flesh; but with us is Yahweh our Elohim to help us, and to fight our battles.
Ps 46:11 Yahweh of hosts is with us; the Elohim of Jacob is our refuge.
Elohim was with mankind 2000 years ago because He was in Yahshua and Yahshua was living in Israel. The spirit of Yahweh was in Yahshua just as it is in the saints.
Ro 8:11 If the Spirit of him that raised up Yahshua from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Messiah from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.
1Co 3:16 You are the temple of Elohim, and that the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you?
Elohim is with us but would any of us claim to be Elohim? In fact to say Elohim is with Yahshua is proof Elohim is not Yahshua for the word “with” indicates beside or in the company of or in addition to. Contrast this: Joseph is Elohim –or- Joseph is with Elohim. The 2nd statement proves Joseph is not Elohim because he is with Elohim.
Yahweh was with OT Israel, fighting their battles, instructing them and providing for them. He was with NT Israel by means of His Son and then through His Holy Spirit. But He will, in actuality, be truly and forever “Elohim with us” when, “The tabernacle of Elohim is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and Elohim himself shall be with them, and be their Elohim” (Rev 21:3).
The scriptures do not say Elohim was the Son just because Yahshua was called Immanuel but teach that Elohim was IN Messiah! Yahshua is never called God the Son in scripture. Yahweh’s Holy Spirit is “with us,” “dwells in us,” and “fills us,” but no one claims that it makes them Elohim. Yahshua certainly did not make that claim either and neither do the scriptures.
Joseph wrote: “We are being told by Yehovah Yehshua to pray in HIS name; that is in the name of YEHOVAH!”
You don’t seem to grasp or see in scripture how Yahweh all along had planned to use a go-between to redeem mankind.
2Co 1:20 For all the promises of Elohim find their yes in him (Messiah).
1Pe 3:18 For Messiah also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might BRING US TO ELOHIM
Isa 53:4 Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by Elohim, and afflicted.
Isa 53:10 Yet it pleased Yahweh to bruise him; He has put him to grief. When You make his soul an offering for sin.
Did the Father die for our sins? Did Yahweh bruise himself? Did Yahweh the Father make his own soul an offering for sin?
Do any of the scriptures actually mean what they say?
Php 2:9 Therefore Elohim also has highly exalted him and given him the name which is above every name,10 that at the name of Yahshua every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Yahshua Messiah is Lord, TO THE GLORY OF ELOHIM THE FATHER.
Joh 14:13 “And whatever you ask in my name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Joh 14:26 “But the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name.
Since Messiah came everything done by the Father is done by and through His son. The Father is now glorified in and through His son and that’s why he states, “No one comes to the Father except through me” (Joh 14:6). Why does the Messiah even claim to have a name when you say Yehovah is Yehshua.
Heb 7:25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to Elohim through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
How can Elohim be His own high priest or how can the Father intercede for us to the Father? I guess the words in the Bible mean the opposite of what they mean in other literature.
1Jo 2:1 If anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Yahshua Messiah the righteous.
Jn 8:17-18 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me bears witness of me.
If we cannot believe these two witnesses then there is no one we can trust.
Can we believe Yahshua’s clear and straight forward statement?
Joh 17:3 “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true Elohim, and Yahshua Messiah whom You have sent.
Yahshua accepted Peter’s answer, saying it came directly from the Father.
Mt 16:15-17 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living Elohim.” Yahshua answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar–Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
There is the Only One True Elohim and the Son of the Only True Elohim. Two witnesses.
    Shalom,
    David Smith
