Cham-Spreading the Poison

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom Royal Family of Yehovah,

Shabbat Zoom Meeting

There are many people in need of fellowship and who are sitting at home on the Sabbath with no one to talk to or debate with. I want to encourage all of you to join us on Shabbat, and to invite others to come and join us as well. If the time is not convenient then you can listen to the teaching and the midrash after on our youtube channel.

What are we doing and why do we teach this way?

We are going to discuss both sides of an issue and then let you choose. It is the work of the Ruach (Spirit) to direct and to teach you.

The medieval commentator Rashi wrote that the Hebrew word for wrestle (avek) implies that Jacob was “tied”, for the same word is used to describe knotted fringes in a Jewish prayer shawl, the tzitzityot. Rashi says, “thus is the manner of two people who struggle to overthrow each other, that one embraces the other and knots him with his arms”.

Our intellectual wrestling has been replaced by a different kind of struggle. We are Wrestling with Yehovah as we grapple with His Word. It is an intimate act, symbolizing a relationship in which Yehovah and I and you are bound together. My wrestling is a struggle to discover what Yehovah expects of us, and we are “tied” to the One who assists us in that struggle.

Today, many say Israel means “Champion of God”, or better — the “Wrestler of God”.

Our Torah sessions each Shabbat teach you and encouraged you to constantly challenge, question, argue against, as well as view alternative views and explanations of the Word. In other words, we are to “wrestle with the Word” to get to the truth. Jews worldwide believe that you need to wrestle with the Word and constantly challenge Dogma, Theology, and views or else you will never get to the Truth.

We are not like most churches where “The preacher talks and everyone listens.” We encourage everyone to participate, to question and to contribute what they know on the subject being discussed. We want you to be a champion wrestler of the Word of Yehovah. We want you to wear the title of Israel, knowing that you not only know but are capable to explain why you know the Torah to be true with logic and facts.

We have a few rules though. Let others talk and listen. There is no discussion about UFO’s Nephilim, Vaccines or conspiracy-type subjects. We have people from around the world with different world views. Not everyone cares who is the President of any particular country. Treat each other with respect as Fellow wrestlers of the word. Some of our subjects are hard to understand and require you to be mature and if you do not know, then listen to gain knowledge and understanding and hopefully wisdom. The very things you are commanded to ask Yehovah for and He gives to those who ask.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

We hope you can invite those who want to keep Torah to come and join us by hitting the link below. It is almost like a Torah teaching fellowship talk show with people from around the world taking part and sharing their insights and understandings.

We start off with some music and then some prayers and it’s as though you were sitting around the kitchen back in Newfoundland having a cup of coffee and all of us enjoying each other’s company. I hope you will grace us with your company someday.

Sabbath October 16,  2021, the room will be open at 12:30 PM Eastern with singing and prayers until about 1:15 PM. You are all welcome to join and watch. It is not recorded. We will have our afternoon service after this. You are welcome to come and join us before during and after we are off the air.

We look forward to you joining our family and getting to know us as we get to know you.

Joseph Dumond is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Septennial Torah Portion

If you go to Torah Portion at our archived section, you can then go to the 5th year which is the 5th year of the Sabbatical Cycle, the one we are in now, as we state at the top of every News Letter. There you can scroll down to October 2, 2021, and see that this Shabbat we could very well be midrashing about

Exodus 8

1 Kings 15-16

Psalm 115-117

Luke 22:39-71

If you missed last week’s exciting discoveries as we studied that section you can go and watch past Shabbats on our media section.

Small Groups

Through Lori Dawn Kowal Sightedmoon.com has begun small groups to help deal with broken people. She has shared this email with me to share with you all or with those who want to change their lives around.

We’re glad you’re here!
The small groups for Sighted Moon are:

Freedom Session

Freedom session offers practical strategies to deal with real issues such as pornography, broken relationships, sexual woundedness and abuse, depression, anger, fear and various forms of addiction. Beneath these “symptoms” is most likely a wounded and empty heart, looking for hope and meaning.

As Yehshua heals the heart, unhealthy and destructive ways previously used to escape the pain become less and less attractive. Shame loses its grip and the lies that once sought to destroy are replaced by God’s truth and the practical skills to live accordingly.  This is the pathway to true and lasting freedom.

Everyday Holiness by Alan Morinis
The core teaching of Mussar is that our deepest essence is inherently pure and holy, but this inner radiance is obscured by extremes of emotion, desire, and bad habits. Our work in life is to uncover the brilliant light of the soul. The Mussar masters developed transformative teachings and practices—some of which are contemplative, some of which focus on how we relate to others in daily life—to help us to heal and refine ourselves. While this is a Jewish book, Yeshua makes Himself known throughout the book.  This study uses the book as a spine and weekly questions and insights are emailed to you and you come together in a group and discuss them weekly. To register, email me at prvbs31mama@protonmail.com

Soul Refiner
It’s best to click the link and read some articles and watch some previews on the website to find out about this course. It is similar to Freedom Session, except it is more flexible and better suited for our international audience given the various time zones across the world. To register contact Joseph at admin@sightedmoon.com

Mixing of the Truth & the Consequences

It is my hope that when my time comes, people will speak about the things they learn here, like the Jubilee Cycles and how those Jubilee Cycles reveal end-time prophecy.

We have been telling you now for many years not to mix the Torah with untruths, not to poison the pure word of Yehovah. But many think they know better than I and have not listened.

One of the litmus tests I have asked you to do is show me how that stuff leads people to Torah? Many come out of the pagan beliefs and begin to learn the Torah truths only to late go back into another mixed bag of untruths. And when they talk they speak as though both were an authority.

Last week I told you to go and read the comments from those who are watching all of us and what they think of us because of those who have mixed the truth with out and out lies. I am grieved for Yehovah’s word being stained like it is by some. Read all the comments and understand.

I am sharing this not for the dead for they know nothing. But I am sharing this for those who are supposed to be alive and helping others to be alive because of Torah. Teach the pure word of Yehovah and stop mixing it with poisonous things that have nothing to do with His word.

The End of the World Oct 28, 2021-Did You Know

On one of the sites I visited, I got the following comment. I forgot to record which site though. But I wanted to bring to your attention that the world is ending in just two weeks time, in case you did not know it.

OH MY GOD! TORAH CALENDAR INDIRECTLY CONFIRMS START OF APOCALYPSE CALLED DANIEL’S 70TH WEEK ON HOSHANA RABBAH OCT 28, 2021!
Just as God created the heavens and earth on six days and rested on the seventh, so too shall mankind endure for 6,000 years and the final 1,000 years to be the millennial reign of Christ AFTER a final seven year apocalypse called Daniel’s 70th Week!
I was looking at the Torah calendars start date of their calendar which began on October 28, 3980BC! This is exactly 6,000 years to the last day of Sukkot called Hoshana Rabbah on the adjusted biblical calendar date of Oct 28, 2021!
3980BC + 2021AD – 1 (Year zero) = 6,000 years precisely!
While Hoshana Rabbah was Sept 27, 2021 on the Hebrew calendar, all the feast days were moved a month into October on the biblical calendar. Thus Hoshana Rabbah is now Oct 27th.
However since the two witnesses in Israel spotted the crescent moon on Oct 7th placed Rosh Hashanah on Oct 8th moving the adjusted feast days down one day. Thus Hoshana Rabbah now lands on Oct 28th!
Now if we add seven prophetic years (2,520 days) to Oct 28, 2021 for Daniel’s 70th Week lands ON Rosh Hashanah Sept 21, 2028 instead of its start point on the evening of Sept 20, 2028 which is even more amazing!
The seventh and last day of Sukkot is called Hoshana Rabbah, and is considered the final day of the divine “Judgment” in which the fate of the new year and world is determined. It is the day when the verdict that was issued on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur is finalized and executed. This would be the most fitting day for the rapture and Daniel’s 70th Week! We are almost there!
I would like to state that while the clock for the rapture and Daniel’s 70th Week may begin on Oct 28, 2021, the exact timing of the judgment events prophesied in the book of Revelation are unknown. God Bless
Here is what Torah Calendar says
Using the Creation Calendar
The duration of the Creation Calendar is 7000 years. This website can currently display Hebrew Months for any year within the range 3980 B.C.E. to 3021 C.E. Use the navigation box located at the top of this page to view Hebrew Months on the Creation Calendar. There are two ways to access months. Enter a Gregorian/Julian calendar date (Day, Month, Year) to go to the Hebrew Month in which that date is found, or directly select a Hebrew Month and a Gregorian/Julian year. The abbreviation C.E. means Common Era and B.C.E. means Before Common Era. Click on B.C.E to access years before 1 C.E.
In 1650 Archbishop of Armagh, James Ussher stated that the beginning of time was 4004 BC.
The world, he concluded, had begun one weekend in 4004 BC – specifically, on the evening before October 23rd.

Ussher chose October 23rd for his moment of Creation as, under the old calendar, it was the autumn equinox, a traditional start to the year.

He believed the 23rd would have been a Sunday, as time would surely have begun on the first day of the week, and he specified the previous evening, as traditionally this was when each day began. Many scholars agreed with Ussher that Earth was about 5,650 years old.

The Venerable Bede, for example, believed the Creation had happened in 3952 BC; Isaac Newton plumped for 3998 BC. The date was still hotly disputed, however; John Lightfoot, an eminent Hebrew scholar at Cambridge, believed the Creation took place at 9 a.m. on the day of the equinox and not, as Ussher suggested, the previous evening.

6000-3952-1= 2047 CE

6000-3998-1= 2001 CE

We here at sightedmoon.com maintain our current understanding that the creation of Adam began in the year 3591 BC. Whether or not he was created in the fall is still up for debate.

If we do the popular math then we take 6000-3591-1= 2408 CE So we still have almost 400 years to go. But as most of you already know from doing the work and proving the Jubilee cycles we do not go by the 6000 years that most others do.

We know that there are 120 Jubilee Cycles and each Jubilee Cycle is made up of 49 years with the 50th year counted as the 1st year in the next cycle. We again urge you to get the book Remembering the Sabbatical Year of 2016 if you want to get all the details about how you can add up the chronology of Genesis to figure out where we are today. We are just 24 away from the start of the 7th millennium of rest starting at Aviv 2045. Between now and then you also have the 3 1/2 year tribulation, the 3 1/2 years of the Two Witnesses when there is no rain for that time and you have the 2300 Day time period of Daniel 8 to all fit within these 24 years. I urge you to get The 2300 Days of Hell ASAP and read it if you want to know when this is to take place. HInt; As it was in the Days of Noah and as it was in the days of Lot.

Germany: Cologne Mosques to Begin Outdoor Broadcasting of Muslim Call to Prayer

As you read this introduction to this article please do keep in mind what the Scriptures state.

Dan 11:37  He will not regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god. For he shall magnify himself above all.

Dan 11:38  But in his place he shall honor the god of forces; and a god whom his fathers did not know, he shall honor with gold and silver, and with precious stones and desirable things.

Dan 11:39  So he shall act in the fortresses of the strongholds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge. He shall multiply in glory, and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for a price.

Keep reading to know who the god of forces is. The god of forces is Cybel in mythology and today is known as the Blessed Virgin Mary.

  • The city of Cologne, once a stronghold of Christendom in Germany, has authorized mosques in the city to begin sounding Muslim calls to prayer over outdoor loudspeakers. The move, ostensibly aimed at promoting multicultural diversity and inclusion, represents a significant step toward the cultural normalization of Islam in Germany. It is taking German multiculturalism into uncharted territory.
  • Critics say that comparing Islamic prayer calls to church bells is a false equivalence because the muezzin proclaims religious slogans such as “there is no god but Allah” and “Allahu Akbar” (“Allah is the Greatest”).
  • “The Muslim call to prayer is not like the ringing of church bells, which are a reminder of a scheduled worship service. Instead, it is a creed and a statement of political Islam, which has unfortunately been abused in many ways in recent years. The call ‘Allahu Akbar’ is not only a call to prayer, but it has also become the battle cry of jihad by Islamist terrorists.” — Necla Kelek, Turkish-born German Islam expert.
  • “It’s not about ‘religious freedom’ or ‘diversity,’ as Mayor Reker claims. The mosque operators want visibility. They celebrate the muezzin as a show of power over their neighborhoods.” —Ahmad Mansour, Israeli-Arab and German Islam expert.
  • “The Muslim call to prayer, the muezzin call, is now permitted in Cologne. Cologne’s Lord Mayor Henriette Reker calls this a ‘symbol of diversity.’ For me it is the opposite — a sign of discrimination…. In 2015, I had to flee from Bangladeshi Islamists because I publicly criticized Islamism. When I hear ‘Allahu Akbar’ from loudspeakers in Germany, I think of a lot, just not diversity…. The muezzin call reminds me of the killing of my six blogger friends by Islamists and the brutal repression of minorities…. This call from the speakers of conservative mosques is above all a show of power. The fact that the city of Cologne now allows the muezzin call with reference to tolerance is a sign of false tolerance for me.” — Shammi Haque, a Bangladeshi-born journalist in exile in Germany.

Do not forget what we have been sharing with you about the mixing of the faiths.

40 of the World’s Religious Leaders

Over the past month, we have created and released three videos in an attempt to show why we have Climate Change, COVID, Famine and Terrorism. We have focused on the climate change aspect thus far.

We have posted Newsletters to explain these things as well. Destroying the Mixed Seed, and Shabbat Shuva 2021 Teshuva. I am at this point fairly sure this will be the subject of our next book. This has been our latest video and it is only 3 minutes long and I think quite powerful for such a short video. I hope you will take it and share it with your groups and social groups. In fact, I hope you will do this for all the videos to follow.

Do we grasp the enormity of the times we are in? Do we see Yehovah striking down these false gods with the curses of Egypt as He warned us He would do at the end of this age?

October 24, 2021 will be the Torah portion for those on the annual readings of Parashat Noach. And they will read through chapter 9 as they read and few will stop and actually hear what is being said. Let us stop here and read Chapter 9 and understand.

Gen 9:1  And God blessed Noah and his sons. And He said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.

Gen 9:2  And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon the animals of the earth, and upon every bird of the air, upon all that moves on the earth, and upon all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered.

Gen 9:3  Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herb.

Gen 9:4  But you shall not eat of flesh with the life in it, orthe blood of it.

Gen 9:5  and surely the blood of your lives will I require. At the hand of every animal will I require it, and at the hand of man. At the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man.

Gen 9:6  Whoever sheds man’s blood, his blood shall be shed by man; for He made man in the image of God.

Gen 9:7  And you be fruitful and multiply. Bring forth abundantly in the earth, and increase in it.

Gen 9:8  And God spoke to Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,

Gen 9:9  Behold! I, even I, establish My covenant with you, and with your seed after you;

Gen 9:10  and with every living creature that is with you, of the birds, of the cattle, and of every animal of the earth with you; from all that go out from the ark, to every animal of the earth.

Gen 9:11  And I will establish My covenant with you. Neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood. Neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

Gen 9:12  And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between Me and you and every living creature with you, for everlasting generations:

Gen 9:13  I set my rainbow in the cloud. And it shall be a token of a covenant between Me and the earth.

Gen 9:14  And it shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud.

Gen 9:15  And I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

Gen 9:16  And the rainbow shall be in the cloud. And I will look upon it that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

Gen 9:17  And God said to Noah, This is the token of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

Noah’s Descendants

Gen 9:18  And the sons of Noah that went out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And Ham is the father of Canaan.

Gen 9:19  These are the three sons of Noah, and the whole earth was overspread from them.

Gen 9:20  And Noah began to be a husbandman. And he planted a vineyard.

Gen 9:21  And he drank of the wine and was drunk. And he was uncovered inside his tent.

Gen 9:22  And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside.

Gen 9:23  And Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it upon both their shoulders. And they went backwards and covered the nakedness of their father. And their faces were backwards, and they did not see their father’s nakedness.

Gen 9:24  And Noah awoke from his wine, and came to know what his younger son had done to him.

Gen 9:25  And he said, Cursed be Canaan. He shall be a servant of servants to his brothers.

Gen 9:26  And he said, Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Shem, and Canaan shall be his servant.

Gen 9:27  God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem. And Canaan shall be their servant.

Gen 9:28  And Noah lived three hundred and fifty years after the flood.

Gen 9:29  And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years. And he died.

Ham uncovered the nakedness of Noah. Have you considered what you are being told? Look up each word in Hebrew and examine them.

Let’s start with Ham himself

H2526   (Strong)
חָם   châm   khawm

The same as H2525; hot (from the tropical habitat); Cham, a son of Noah; also (as a patronymic) his descendants or their country: – Ham.

H2525   (Strong)
חָם  châm   khawm

From H2552; hot: – hot, warm.

From the Paleo, we have the following. Chet Mem Hey and Chet Mem Nun

The Chet letter is represented by a fence. The Mem is represented by water. The Hey is represented by a man and the Nun is represented by what looks like sperm or seed with a tail coming from it.

Nf1) Emh% (Emh% Hh-MH) – I. Sun: The source of heat. II. Fury: An intense heat from anger. [freq. 132] |kjv: sun, heat, fury, wrath, poison, displeasure, rage, anger, bottle| {H2528, H2534, H2535}

mm) Nmh% (Nmh% Hh-MN) – Sun idol: An object of worship representing the sun god. [freq. 8] |kjv: image, idol| {H2553}

Are you seeing a picture of where sun worship is coming from? Again I refer you to our video teaching on the Great Enlightenment that we posted here last week.

In verse 18 you should have noticed that Canaan is mentioned. Why is he mentioned here already? Why not one of Shem’s or Japheth’s sons?

In verse 21 we are told the Noah was uncovered and in his tent. Let’s first look at the word for uncovered in the Paleo. The root of the word is Ayin Lamid.

1357) Lo% (Lo% AhL) ac: Work co: Yoke ab: ?: The pictograph o is a picture of they eye representing knowledge and experience, the l is a picture of a shepherd staff or yoke. Combined these mean “experience the staff”. The yoke, a staff is lifted over the shoulder, is attached to the oxen for performing work. (eng: collar – with the exchange of the sound of the ayin with the c and the additional r)

Now we will not make any crude jokes if you already know where this is leading. But let us now go down to the word for uncovering. This is depicted by Ayin, Lamid Hey. The eye for knowledge, the shepherd’s rod or shaft, and the Man.

H) Elo% (Elo% AhLH) ac: Lift co: ? ab: ?: The lifting of the yoke onto the shoulder. One taken into exile is placed in the yoke for transport and the yoke of bondage. It was a common practice to strip the clothes off of those taken into exile.

V) Elo% (Elo% Ah-LH) – I. Rise: To go, come or bring oneself or something up. [Hebrew and Aramaic; A generic verb with a wide application meaning to lift up] [df: hlg] II. Uncover: As a lifting off of the cover. To be exposed from the removal of clothing. Also to reveal something by exposing it. [Hebrew and Aramaic] [df: hlg alg] [freq. 1087] (vf: Paal, Niphal, Hiphil, Hitpael, Hophal, Pual, Piel) |kjv: up, offer, come, bring, ascend, go, chew, offering, light, increase, burn, depart, put, spring, raise, break, exalt, uncover, discover, captive, carry away, reveal, open, captivity, show, remove, appear, brought, carry| {H1540, H1541, H5924, H5927}

Now the word for Tent is Ohel in Hebrew and in Paleo is as follows. Here is the root. The Hey for a man and the shepherds staff for Lamid.

1104) Le% (Le% HL) ac: Shine co: Star ab: Distant: The pictograph e is a picture of a man with his arms raised looking at a great sight. The l is a shepherd staff representing the idea of “toward” as the staff is used to move a sheep toward a direction. Combined these letters mean “a looking toward something” such as the looking toward a light in the distance. The stars have always been used to guide the traveler or shepherd to find his home or destination.

And here is the word tent. Aleph Hey Lamid.

C) Lea% (Lea% AHL) ac: Shine co: Tent ab: ?

V) Lea% (Lea% A-HL) – I. Shine: II. Pitch tent:[denominative of lefa] [freq. 4] (vf: Hiphil, Paal, Piel) |kjv: shine, tent| {H166, H167}

Again we are reading about Ham uncovering Noah in his tent. And I cannot help but think of the scriptures in Isaiah here as I see Ham going up to the Aleph Tent and taking his, the Alephs authority or yoke upon himself.

Isa 14:13  For you have said in your heart, I will go up to the heavens, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north.

Isa 14:14  I will go up above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.

And still even before I get to the part I am wanting to share with you, I am taken back to Genesis;

Gen 3:1  Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said to the woman, Is it so that God has said, You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

The word for serpent is;

H5175   (Strong)
נָחָשׁ   nâchâsh    naw-khawsh’

From H5172; a snake (from its hiss): – serpent.

H5172 is spelt Nun, like semen, Chet like a fence shin for teeth and means;

2395) Shn% (Shn% NHhSh) ac: ? co: Bronze ab: ?

V) Shn% (Shn% N-HhSh) – Divine: To learn something through divination. [Unknown connection to root;] [freq. 11] (vf: Piel) |kjv: enchantment, divine, enchanter, indeed, certainly, learn, experience, diligently, observe| {H5172}

Nm) Shn% (Shn% N-HhSh) – I. Bronze: [Aramaic only] II.Divination: [Unknown connection to root;] [freq. 11] |kjv: brass, enchantment| {H5173, H5174}

Ham has gone up into Noah’s Tent to be like his Father, or to become the Shining one or the head.

Now, look at what Ham does in verse 22. He went and told his brothers. He is bragging.

H5046   (Strong)
נָגַד    nâgad   naw-gad’

A primitive root; properly to front, that is, stand boldly out opposite; by implication (causatively), to manifest; figuratively to announce (always by word of mouth to one present); specifically to expose, predict, explain, praise: – bewray, X certainly, certify, declare (-ing), denounce, expound, X fully, messenger, plainly, profess, rehearse, report, shew (forth), speak, X surely, tell, utter.

What did Ham tell his brothers? Go back to the words Saw The Nakedness.

The word Aleph Tav is what most say or translate as the word the. But look at the other meaning for the word Aleph Tav. To Plow.

OK, so I have now prepared you for this. What does it mean to uncover your Father’s Nakedness? When we go to Lev 18 it tells us that when you uncover someone you are having sex with them.

Lev 18:7  You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father or the nakedness of your mother. She is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness.

Lev 18:8  You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife. It is your father’s nakedness.

When you uncover the nakedness of your Father, you are having sexual relations with your Fathers wife.

Now, pay especially close scrutiny to the word uncovered in that sentence. The word uncovered in Gen 9:21 is:

H1540   (Strong)
גָּלָה   gâlâh   gaw-law’

A primitive root; to denude (especially in a disgraceful sense); by implication to exile (captives being usually stripped); figuratively to reveal: –  + advertise, appear, bewray, bring, (carry, lead, go) captive (into captivity), depart, disclose, discover, exile, be gone, open, X plainly, publish, remove, reveal, X shamelessly, shew, X surely, tell, uncover.

Ham uncovered Noah’s Wife. Ham had sex with his mother. But not only that, Noah was away for some time and Ham did not just tell his brothers he declared it to them. As if he was usurping the authority of Noah. Notice who is Gaia in the explanation of the Greek gods next.

Ouranos-Alon

Uranus (/jʊəˈreɪnəs/ ( listen) yoor-AY-nəs), sometimes written Ouranos (Ancient Greek: Οὐρανός, lit. ’sky’, [oːranós]), was the primal Greek god personifying the sky and one of the Greek primordial deities. Uranus is associated with the Roman god Caelus.[2][3][4] In Ancient Greek literature, Uranus or Father Sky was the son and husband of Gaia, the primordial Earth Mother (Mother Earth). According to Hesiod’s Theogony, Uranus was conceived by Gaia alone, but according to other sources he was born from Aether and Hemera (‘Day’),[5] or Nyx. Uranus and Gaia were the parents of the first generation of Titans, and the ancestors of most of the Greek gods, but no cult addressed directly to Uranus survived into Classical times,[6] and Uranus does not appear among the usual themes of Greek painted pottery. Elemental Earth, Sky, and Styx might be joined, however, in solemn invocation in Homeric epic.[7]

Central part of a large floor mosaic, from a Roman villa in Sentinum (now known as Sassoferrato, in Marche, Italy), ca. 200–250 C.E. Aion, the god of eternity, is standing inside a celestial sphere decorated with zodiac signs, in between a green tree and a bare tree (summer and winter, respectively). Sitting in front of him is the mother-earth goddess, Tellus (the Roman counterpart of Gaia) with her four children, who possibly represent the four seasons.

Gaia is what the UNEP and the UN have called Mother Earth and refer to her often in their war on Climate Change. They have done this since the start of the UNEP in 1972.

As you search the meaning of each word in the Paleo, this is the impression I come away with. It is a similar story to when Reuben goes and lies with his father’s wife, and also when Absalom went into King David’s wives.

2Sa 16:20  And Absalom said to Ahithophel, Give your advice. What shall we do?

2Sa 16:21  And Ahithophel said to Absalom, Go in to your father’s concubines, that he left to keep the house. And all Israel shall hear that you are abhorred by your father. And the hands of all who are with you will be strong.

2Sa 16:22  And they spread Absalom a tent on the top of the house, and Absalom went in to his father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel.

You do not have to agree with me. But when I research the gods of Rome, Greece, Egypt, Babylon, and Assyria, they all say the same thing. That the son of the woman who gave birth to all mankind, had sex with her and gave birth to what many would consider the messiah. This messiah was the one cursed by Noah who’s name was Canaan.

As you consider this ask, why Noah’s wife could be pregnant for 9 months and then add some more years so that the child Canaan could grow old enough so that Noah knew to curse him by name. Canaan was born and living when Noah cursed him. Noah did not curse him the same day Ham Uncloivered his nakedness.

We know also that Shem and Japheth along with Noah migrated towards the west along the Euphrates. This is why Turkey was first known as Asia. And we also know that Ham’s descendants migrated towards the east and settled in the Cushi Dhag mountains.

If you go back to the word for uncovered, one of the meanings was to lead away naked or captivity. Ham and his clan along with Noah’s wife left and dwelt in the Kusheh Dagh mountains. This is the area the river Gihon flowed through when the book of Genesis described where the Garden of Eden was.

The area Cush first settled in was between Lake Urmia and the Caspian Sea in what is currently Iran.

Later we see that Cush or Kush tribes had migrated down to the Pakistan-India area.

Hindu Kush is generally translated as “Killer of Hindu”[24][25][26][27][28][29][30] or “Hindu-Killer”.[31][32][33][34][35] Boyle’s Persian-English dictionary indicates that the suffix -koš [koʃ] is the present stem of the verb ‘to kill’ (koštan کشتن).[36]According to linguist Francis Joseph Steingass, the suffix -kush means ‘a male; (imp. of kushtan in comp.) a killer, who kills, slays, murders, oppresses as azhdaha-kush.'[37]

The Hindu Kush range region was a historically significant centre of Buddhism, with sites such as the Bamiyan Buddhas.[11][12]

Ham had Cush whom the legends also say went into his grandmother, Noah’s wife, after attacking Ham and defeating him cutting off his genitals or what was perceived as his power. Cush would then have Nimrod and the legends for him also indicate he too went into Noah’s Wife.

During these early years after the flood, in 2181 BC., Nimrod set up Babylon and shared this time with Asshur who set up between the two rivers. The son of Cush, Mizraim began what would become Egypt.

Gen 10:6  And the sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim and Phut and Canaan.

Gen 10:7  And the sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah and Sabtah and Raamah and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.

Gen 10:8  And Cush fathered Nimrod. He began to be a mighty one in the earth.

Gen 10:9  He was a mighty hunter before Jehovah. Therefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before Jehovah.

Gen 10:10  And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

Gen 10:11  Out of that land he went forth to Asshur. And he built Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,

Gen 10:12  and Resen between Nineveh and Calah, which is a great city.

Gen 10:13  And Mizraim fathered Ludim and Anamim and Lehabim and Naphtuhim,

Gen 10:14  and Pathrusim and Casluhim (from whom came the Philistines) and Caphtorim.

Gen 10:15  And Canaan fathered Sidon, his first-born, and Heth,

Gen 10:16  and the Jebusite and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

Gen 10:17  and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

Gen 10:18  and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. And afterward the families of the Canaanites were spread abroad.

Gen 10:19  And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon (as you come to Gerar) to Gaza, as you go in towards Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboim, even to Lasha.

Gen 10:20  These were the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.

It is from these peoples, Cush, Nimrod, Mizraim that we have all the various religions of the world. The story’s of Ham and his Mother run through all the religions and today as throughout history people worship them as gods and mix them into the worship of Yehovah the Only God.

Noah’s wife was the Mother of all living. She is known as Mother Earth. Where she is known as mother earth the Sky god is known as Ouranos. In Egypt the Earth god was known as Geb and the Sky god as Nut.

Here are two depictions of the Nut the sky god interacting with the Geb the earth god.

Compare this image from the Golden Calf altar at Mount Sinai as pointed our by Joel Richardson.

In Hindi the sky god is known as Kamadhenu

Kamadhenu (Sanskrit: कामधेनु, [kaːmɐˈdʱeːnʊ], Kāmadhenu), also known as Surabhi (सुरभि, Surabhī), is a divine bovine-goddess described in Hinduism as Gou Mata “cow mother”. She is a miraculous cow of plenty who provides her owner whatever he desires and is often portrayed as the mother of other cattle. In iconography, she is generally depicted as a white cow with a female head and breasts, the wings of a bird, and the tail of a peafowl or as a white cow containing various deities within her body. Cow veneration in Hinduism is directed at the earthly embodiment of the Kamadhenu. As such, Kamadhenu is not worshipped independently as a goddess; rather, she is honored by the veneration of cows in general by subsets of the Hindu population.

Hindu scriptures provide diverse accounts of the birth of Kamadhenu. While some narrate that she emerged from the churning of the cosmic ocean,

She has a similar history of coming through the churning ocean as Venus does having come out of the Euphrates River.

Noah’s wife came through the churning oceans of the flood and with the ark landed near the shores of the Euphrates as this painting depicts.

Noah’s wife was the Mother of all Living. And was known as the Queen of heaven as the sky god. She was also known as the cow god Hathor. Here is a statue of Hathor sitting and Ham with Canaan. Hathor is also known as the cow god which helps me to understand why the cow is so sacred in Hinduism.

And here is the 21st-century picture of Noah’s wife with Ham and Canaan.

And there are many trinity gods in Hinduism.

These same three figures have been passed through Hinduism and developed into Buddhism.

It is not my desire to teach you about the eastern religions nor the western religions. I do want you to know and understand where they all and I do mean all come from.

Now, do you remember Ham’s name and what it meant?

Nf1) Emh% (Emh% Hh-MH) – I. Sun: The source of heat. II. Fury: An intense heat from anger. [freq. 132] |kjv: sun, heat, fury, wrath, poison, displeasure, rage, anger, bottle| {H2528, H2534, H2535}

mm) Nmh% (Nmh% Hh-MN) – Sun idol: An object of worship representing the sun god. [freq. 8] |kjv: image, idol| {H2553}

The two words I am going to cherry-pick are the words poison and idol. And now I want to point you back to our News Letter from last week about the Great Falling Away and remind you of the god Hathor who is also known as Heqet or the Frog god of fertility.

I will just repost it here for you. And what I am showing you is that Ham’s name which included in its meaning, poison and idol is manifested in witchcraft.

Enter Pope Francis, who is not afraid to set precedent. Together with the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby and Orthodox Ecumenical Patriarch Patrick Bartholomew, the world’s three main Christian leaders recently issued “A Joint Message for the Protection of Creation,” asking Christians everywhere to “listen to the cry of the Earth”. This includes everyone, rich and poor, old and young, who must examine their behavior and pledge “meaningful sacrifices for the sake of the Earth which God has given us.” The three also implored world leaders scheduled to attend the United Nations Climate Conference (Cop 26) in Glasgow, which begins on 31 October, to make courageous – and necessary – choices.

If you again go and read our News Letter from https://sightedmoon.com/destruction-of-the-gods/ where we discuss the 10 plagues of Egypt and show you how Yehovah destroyed the 10 gods of Egypt, you should be able to understand the Frog and why all these religious leaders are part of the frog religion.
Here is what it said about the second god of frogs.
Heqet (Egyptian ḥqt, also ḥqtyt “Heqtit”), sometimes spelled Heket, is an Egyptian goddess of fertility, identified with Hathor, represented in the form of a frog. [1] To the Egyptians, the frog was an ancient symbol of fertility, related to the annual flooding of the Nile. Heqet was originally the female counterpart of Khnum, or the wife of Khnum by whom she became the mother of Her-ur.[2] It has been proposed that her name is the origin of the name of Hecate, the Greek goddess of witchcraft.
Witchcraft is likened to those other scriptures in Revelation about pharmekia.
Here we have a visibly clear representation of the mixing of all the religious people into one religion seeking a common cause. To save the planet from the wrath of Yehovah.

Heqet the Egyptian goddess of fertility is equal to the Hindu god of fertility Parvati and is also known as the god Durga, mother of the universe.

In Christianity, the Queen of the Universe or the Queen of Heaven is today called the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is the same Paravti or Durga in HInduism.

This is the same god that Israel was thrown out of the land of Israel for worshipping and it is one of the gods Judah also worshipped.

2Ki 17:13  And Jehovah testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, by all the seers, saying, Turn from your evil ways and keep My commandments, My statutes, according to all the Law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by My servants the prophets.

2Ki 17:14  But they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like the neck of their fathers who did not believe in Jehovah their God.

2Ki 17:15  And they rejected His statutes and His covenant which He made with their fathers, and His testimonies which He testified against them. And they went after the vain thing, and became vain, and after the nations around them, concerning whom Jehovah had charged them not to do like them.

2Ki 17:16  And they left all the commandments of Jehovah their God, and made molten images, two calves, for themselves. And they made an Asherah and worshiped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.

2Ki 17:17  And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire. And they used divination and incantations, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke Him to anger.

2Ki 17:18  So Jehovah was very angry with Israel, and turned them away from His face; not one was left, only the tribe of Judah by itself.

2Ki 17:19  Also Judah did not keep the commandments of Jehovah their God, but walked in the statutes which Israel made.

2Ki 17:20  And Jehovah rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until He had cast them out of His sight.

2Ki 17:21  For He tore Israel from the house of David. And they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king. And Jeroboam drove Israel away from following Jehovah, and made them sin a great sin.

2Ki 17:22  For the sons of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did. They did not depart from them

2Ki 17:23  until Jehovah turned away Israel from His face, as He had said by all His servants the prophets. So Israel was carried away out of their own land to Assyria until this day.

Jer 7:15  And I will cast you out of My sight, as I have cast out all your brothers, the whole seed of Ephraim.

Jer 7:16  Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up cry nor prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me; for I will not hear you.

Jer 7:17  Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Jer 7:18  The sons gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven and to pour out drink offerings to other gods, that they may provoke Me to anger.

Jer 7:19  Do they vex Me? says Jehovah. Is it not themselves, to the shame of their own faces?

Jer 7:20  Therefore so says the Jehovah God; Behold, My anger and My fury shall be poured out on this place, on man, and on animal, and on the trees of the field, and on the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be put out.

To those who escaped from the king of Babylon to Egypt Jeremiah confronts them again for their sin.

Jer 44:13  For I will punish those who dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the plague,

Jer 44:14  So that none of the remnant of Judah who has gone into the land of Egypt to live there shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah to which they have a desire to return to live there. For none shall return except those who escape.

Jer 44:15  And all the men who knew that their wives had burned incense to other gods, and all the women who stood by, a great multitude, even all the people who lived in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah. And they said,

Jer 44:16  As for the Word that you have spoken to us in the name of Jehovah, we will not listen to you.

Jer 44:17  But we will certainly do whatever thing goes forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our rulers, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, and were well, and saw no evil.

Jer 44:18  But since we stopped burning incense to the queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked all things, and have been devoured by the sword and by the famine.

Jer 44:19  And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings to her, did we make our cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings to her without our men?

Jer 44:20  And Jeremiah said to all the people, to the men and to the women, and to all the people who had given him that answer:

Jer 44:21  The incense that you burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, you, and your fathers, your kings, and your rulers, and the people of the land; did not Jehovah remember them? Yea, it came into His mind.

Jer 44:22  Yea, so that Jehovah could no longer hold back because of the evil of your doings, because of the abominations which you have committed! So your land is a waste, and a wonder, and a curse, without anyone in it, as it is today.

Jer 44:23  Because you have burned incense, and because you have sinned against Jehovah, and have not obeyed the voice of Jehovah, nor walked in His Law, nor in His statutes, nor did you walk in His testimonies, therefore this evil has happened to you, as at this day.

Jer 44:24  And Jeremiah said to all the people, and to all the women, Hear the Word of Jehovah, all Judah that isin the land of Egypt.

Jer 44:25  So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, saying: You and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hands, saying, We will surely fulfil our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to her. You will surely fulfil your vows and surely carry out your vows.

Jer 44:26  Therefore hear the Word of Jehovah, all Judah that lives in the land of Egypt. Behold, I have sworn by My great name, says Jehovah, that My name will no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord Jehovah lives.

Jer 44:27  Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good. And all the men of Judah in the land of Egypt shall be destroyed by the sword and by the famine, until there is an end of them.

Jer 44:28  Yet the small number that escapes the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah; and all the remnant of Judah (who have gone into the land of Egypt to live there) shall know whose word shall stand, Mine or theirs.

Last week in our News Letter and again above I shared with you one of the attributes of this god. Let me do so again in bold

It has been proposed that her name is the origin of the name of Hecate, the Greek goddess of witchcraft.

1Co 10:18  Behold Israel after the flesh. Are not those who eat of the sacrifices also partakers of the altar?

1Co 10:19  What then do I say? That the idol is anything, or that an idolatrous sacrifice is anything?

1Co 10:20  But I say that the things which the nations sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God. And I do not desire that you should have fellowship with demons.

1Co 10:21  You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table and of a table of demons.

1Co 10:22  Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?

The Pope and the entire host of leaders there with him sacrifice to demons. They have mixed the truth of Yehovah with the witchcraft of demons.

Gal 5:19  Now the works of the flesh are clearly revealed, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lustfulness,

Gal 5:20  idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, fightings, jealousies, angers, rivalries, divisions, heresies,

Gal 5:21  envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revelings, and things like these; of which I tell you before, as I also said before, that they who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

The word sorcery here is the same word we looked at last week.

4) metaphorically the deceptions and seductions of idolatry

Again last week we spoke to you about Simon the Magician who was mixing the truth of Yehovah with the pagan religions and using magic to gather a following after him. Yehovah is pointing out our ADULTERY by going after other gods who are not gods. This is spiritual IDOLATRY the mixing of a pile of crap with the truth of Yehovah, making that false idea or false teaching as Holy as Yehovah’s words.

This next picture is supposed to be of Simon Peter in the Vatican. Everyone wants to kiss his big toe. It is my position that this is a statue of Simon the Magician of Acts 8. The one who mixed the truth with the lies of Ham who usurped the authority of Noah and led the people away.

All of this idol worship took root right after the flood in 2181 BC. By the time we get to 1790 BC. it was rampant throughout the world. In 1790 BC Nimrod was executed by Shem through two courts of law in Egypt, the lower and then the upper courts. Nimrod was tied to four horses and his body was ripped apart and then sent to the four corners of the world as a warning to all those who would continue to pursue this false worship.

Before this time of Nimrod’s execution, there is this interesting story from the book of Jasher. I have only quoted this section of that book once before and nothing else. What I am showing you is that in the time span of fewer than 391 years after the flood this curse had spread around the earth.

Abraham left the land of Haran in 1814 BC so this story takes place before this time. If the account is correct then the year is 1856 BC. I just love the fact that they are using the King James Language to speak here. LOL.

Book of Jasher, Chapter 11

1 And Nimrod son of Cush was still in the land of Shinar, and he reigned over it and dwelt there, and he built cities in the land of Shinar.

2 And these are the names of the four cities which he built, and he called their names after the occurrences that happened to them in the building of the tower.

3 And he called the first Babel, saying, Because the Lord there confounded the language of the whole earth; and the name of the second he called Erech, because from there God dispersed them.

4 And the third he called Eched, saying there was a great battle at that place; and the fourth he called Calnah, because his princes and mighty men were consumed there, and they vexed the Lord, they rebelled and transgressed against him.

5 And when Nimrod had built these cities in the land of Shinar, he placed in them the remainder of his people, his princes and his mighty men that were left in his kingdom.

6 And Nimrod dwelt in Babel, and he there renewed his reign over the rest of his subjects, and he reigned securely, and the subjects and princes of Nimrod called his name Amraphel, saying that at the tower his princes and men fell through his means.

7 And notwithstanding this, Nimrod did not return to the Lord, and he continued in wickedness and teaching wickedness to the sons of men; and Mardon, his son, was worse than his father, and continued to add to the abominations of his father.

8 And he caused the sons of men to sin, therefore it is said, From the wicked goeth forth wickedness.

9 At that time there was war between the families of the children of Ham, as they were dwelling in the cities which they had built.

10 And Chedorlaomer, king of Elam, went away from the families of the children of Ham, and he fought with them and he subdued them, and he went to the five cities of the plain and he fought against them and he subdued them, and they were under his control.

11 And they served him twelve years, and they gave him a yearly tax.

12 At that time died Nahor, son of Serug, in the forty-ninth year of the life of Abram son of Terah.

13 And in the fiftieth year of the life of Abram son of Terah, Abram came forth from the house of Noah, and went to his father’s house.

14 And Abram knew the Lord, and he went in his ways and instructions, and the Lord his God was with him.

15 And Terah his father was in those days, still captain of the host of king Nimrod, and he still followed strange gods.

16 And Abram came to his father’s house and saw twelve gods standing there in their temples, and the anger of Abram was kindled when he saw these images in his father’s house.

17 And Abram said, As the Lord liveth these images shall not remain in my father’s house; so shall the Lord who created me do unto me if in three days’ time I do not break them all.

18 And Abram went from them, and his anger burned within him. And Abram hastened and went from the chamber to his father’s outer court, and he found his father sitting in the court, and all his servants with him, and Abram came and sat before him.

19 And Abram asked his father, saying, Father, tell me where is God who created heaven and earth, and all the sons of men upon earth, and who created thee and me. And Terah answered his son Abram and said, Behold those who created us are all with us in the house.

20 And Abram said to his father, My lord, shew them to me I pray thee; and Terah brought Abram into the chamber of the inner court, and Abram saw, and behold the whole room was full of gods of wood and stone, twelve great images and others less than they without number.

21 And Terah said to his son, Behold these are they which made all thou seest upon earth, and which created me and thee, and all mankind.

22 And Terah bowed down to his gods, and he then went away from them, and Abram, his son, went away with him.

23 And when Abram had gone from them he went to his mother and sat before her, and he said to his mother, Behold, my father has shown me those who made heaven and earth, and all the sons of men.

24 Now, therefore, hasten and fetch a kid from the flock, and make of it savory meat, that I may bring it to my father’s gods as an offering for them to eat; perhaps I may thereby become acceptable to them.

25 And his mother did so, and she fetched a kid, and made savory meat thereof, and brought it to Abram, and Abram took the savory meat from his mother and brought it before his father’s gods, and he drew nigh to them that they might eat; and Terah his father, did not know of it.

26 And Abram saw on the day when he was sitting amongst them, that they had no voice, no hearing, no motion, and not one of them could stretch forth his hand to eat.

27 And Abram mocked them, and said, Surely the savory meat that I prepared has not pleased them, or perhaps it was too little for them, and for that reason they would not eat; therefore tomorrow I will prepare fresh savory meat, better and more plentiful than this, in order that I may see the result.

28 And it was on the next day that Abram directed his mother concerning the savory meat, and his mother rose and fetched three fine kids from the flock, and she made of them some excellent savory meat, such as her son was fond of, and she gave it to her son Abram; and Terah his father did not know of it.

29 And Abram took the savory meat from his mother, and brought it before his father’s gods into the chamber; and he came nigh unto them that they might eat, and he placed it before them, and Abram sat before them all day, thinking perhaps they might eat.

30 And Abram viewed them, and behold they had neither voice nor hearing, nor did one of them stretch forth his hand to the meat to eat.

31 And in the evening of that day in that house Abram was clothed with the spirit of God.

32 And he called out and said, Wo unto my father and this wicked generation, whose hearts are all inclined to vanity, who serve these idols of wood and stone which can neither eat, smell, hear nor speak, who have mouths without speech, eyes without sight, ears without hearing, hands without feeling, and legs which cannot move; like them are those that made them and that trust in them.

33 And when Abram saw all these things his anger was kindled against his father, and he hastened and took a hatchet in his hand, and came unto the chamber of the gods, and he broke all his father’s gods.

34 And when he had done breaking the images, he placed the hatchet in the hand of the great god which was there before them, and he went out; and Terah his father came home, for he had heard at the door the sound of the striking of the hatchet; so Terah came into the house to know what this was about.

35 And Terah, having heard the noise of the hatchet in the room of images, ran to the room to the images, and he met Abram going out.

36 And Terah entered the room and found all the idols fallen down and broken, and the hatchet in the hand of the largest, which was not broken, and the savory meat which Abram his son had made was still before them.

37 And when Terah saw this his anger was greatly kindled, and he hastened and went from the room to Abram.

38 And he found Abram his son still sitting in the house; and he said to him, What is this work thou hast done to my gods?

39 And Abram answered Terah his father and he said, Not so my lord, for I brought savory meat before them, and when I came nigh to them with the meat that they might eat, they all at once stretched forth their hands to eat before the great one had put forth his hand to eat.

40 And the large one saw their works that they did before him, and his anger was violently kindled against them, and he went and took the hatchet that was in the house and came to them and broke them all, and behold the hatchet is yet in his hand as thou seest.

41 And Terah’s anger was kindled against his son Abram, when he spoke this; and Terah said to Abram his son in his anger, What is this tale that thou hast told? Thou speakest lies to me.

42 Is there in these gods spirit, soul or power to do all thou hast told me? Are they not wood and stone, and have I not myself made them, and canst thou speak such lies, saying that the large god that was with them smote them? It is thou that didst place the hatchet in his hands, and then sayest he smote them all.

43 And Abram answered his father and said to him, And how canst thou then serve these idols in whom there is no power to do any thing? Can those idols in which thou trustest deliver thee? can they hear thy prayers when thou callest upon them? can they deliver thee from the hands of thy enemies, or will they fight thy battles for thee against thy enemies, that thou shouldst serve wood and stone which can neither speak nor hear?

44 And now surely it is not good for thee nor for the sons of men that are connected with thee, to do these things; are you so silly, so foolish or so short of understanding that you will serve wood and stone, and do after this manner?

45 And forget the Lord God who made heaven and earth, and who created you in the earth, and thereby bring a great evil upon your souls in this matter by serving stone and wood?

46 Did not our fathers in days of old sin in this matter, and the Lord God of the universe brought the waters of the flood upon them and destroyed the whole earth?

47 And how can you continue to do this and serve gods of wood and stone, who cannot hear, or speak, or deliver you from oppression, thereby bringing down the anger of the God of the universe upon you?

48 Now therefore my father refrain from this, and bring not evil upon thy soul and the souls of thy household.

49 And Abram hastened and sprang from before his father, and took the hatchet from his father’s largest idol, with which Abram broke it and ran away.

50 And Terah, seeing all that Abram had done, hastened to go from his house, and he went to the king and he came before Nimrod and stood before him, and he bowed down to the king; and the king said, What dost thou want?

51 And he said, I beseech thee my lord, to hear me–Now fifty years back a child was born to me, and thus has he done to my gods and thus has he spoken; and now therefore, my lord and king, send for him that he may come before thee, and judge him according to the law, that we may be delivered from his evil.

52 And the king sent three men of his servants, and they went and brought Abram before the king. And Nimrod and all his princes and servants were that day sitting before him, and Terah sat also before them.

53 And the king said to Abram, What is this that thou hast done to thy father and to his gods? And Abram answered the king in the words that he spoke to his father, and he said, The large god that was with them in the house did to them what thou hast heard.

54 And the king said to Abram, Had they power to speak and eat and do as thou hast said? And Abram answered the king, saying, And if there be no power in them why dost thou serve them and cause the sons of men to err through thy follies?

55 Dost thou imagine that they can deliver thee or do anything small or great, that thou shouldst serve them? And why wilt thou not sense the God of the whole universe, who created thee and in whose power it is to kill and keep alive?

56 0 foolish, simple, and ignorant king, woe unto thee forever.

57 I thought thou wouldst teach thy servants the upright way, but thou hast not done this, but hast filled the whole earth with thy sins and the sins of thy people who have followed thy ways.

58 Dost thou not know, or hast thou not heard, that this evil which thou doest, our ancestors sinned therein in days of old, and the eternal God brought the waters of the flood upon them and destroyed them all, and also destroyed the whole earth on their account? And wilt thou and thy people rise up now and do like unto this work, in order to bring down the anger of the Lord God of the universe, and to bring evil upon thee and the whole earth?

59 Now therefore put away this evil deed which thou doest, and serve the God of the universe, as thy soul is in his hands, and then it will be well with thee.

60 And if thy wicked heart will not hearken to my words to cause thee to forsake thy evil ways, and to serve the eternal God, then wilt thou die in shame in the latter days, thou, thy people and all who are connected with thee, hearing thy words or walking in thy evil ways.

61 And when Abram had ceased speaking before the king and princes, Abram lifted up his eyes to the heavens, and he said, The Lord seeth all the wicked, and he will judge them.

In a meeting with religious leaders at the Vatican on Oct. 4, 2021, Pope Francis adds dirt to a potted plant as a sign of unity with other religious leaders calling for action on climate change. The meeting was part of the run-up to the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, Scotland, from Oct. 31 to Nov. 12, 2021. (CNS photo/Vatican Media)

In an unprecedented response to the “grave threat” facing all peoples worldwide from climate change, Pope Francis and some 40 faith leaders representing the world’s major religions have joined in an appeal for urgent action. Signed today, Oct. 4, in the Vatican and addressed to all governments participating in the 26th U.N. Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland from Oct. 31 through Nov. 12, the appeal calls for decisive international political action to combat climate change and “to safeguard, restore and heal our wounded humanity and the home entrusted to our stewardship.”

The Glasgow summit aims to accelerate progress toward the goals of the Paris Agreementand the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change.

“Future generations will never forgive us if we miss the opportunity to protect our common home. We have inherited a garden, we must not leave a desert to our children.”

The faith leaders represent an estimated 84 percent of the world’s people that identity with a faith, and come from the main Christian denominations, the two main branches of Islam (Sunni and Shi’a), Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism and Jainism. Christians present at the signing in the Vatican included Pope Francis; Bartholomew I, the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople; Metropolitan Hilarion of the Russian Orthodox Church, representing Patriarch Kirill; and Archbishop Justin Welby of Canterbury, representing the Anglican Communion. Muslim representatives included the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad Muhammad Al-Tayyeb (Egypt) and Ayatollah Seyed Mostafa Mohaghegh Damad from the Academy of Sciences in Tehran (Iran), while the worldwide Jewish community was represented by Rabbi Noam Marans of the International Jewish Committee for Interreligious Consultations and Rabbi Daniel Swartz of the Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life.

Six years ago, before the U.N.-sponsored climate change conference in Paris in 2015, Pope Francis published the encyclical “Laudato Si’”; that document is widely recognized as having contributed significantly to getting many governments to support the Paris Climate Agreement, in which 195 countries committed to keeping global temperature rises to below two degrees Celsius.

Today’s appeal is the result of a series of virtual monthly dialogues between faith leaders and scientists throughout 2021 that was initiated and organized by the British and Italian embassies to the Holy See in collaboration with the Holy See. Those dialogues culminated with an event this morning in the Vatican’s Hall of Benedictions at which each of the faith leaders signed the appeal. After the signing, Pope Francis handed the appeal to the COP26 president-delegate, Alok Sharma, from the United Kingdom, which is hosting the U.N. conference in partnership with Italy, and to Luigi Di Maio, the Italian foreign minister.

In brief remarks, Pope Francis thanked the other faith leaders for their presence, which, he said, “clearly shows our desire for a deepened dialogue among ourselves and with scientific experts.” Though the pope was scheduled to speak for 10 minutes, he limited his speech to two minutes and invited attendees to read his full speech in the written text provided to attendees.

“COP26 in Glasgow represents an urgent summons to provide effective responses to the unprecedented ecological crisis and the crisis of values that we are presently experiencing, and in this way to offer concrete hope to future generations,” Pope Francis wrote. “We want to accompany it with our commitment and our spiritual closeness.”

America has learned from Vatican sources that prior to his visit to COP26, Pope Francis will receive U.S. President Joseph R. Biden Jr. in a private audience on Oct. 29.

Today’s gathering, “which brings together many cultures and spiritualities in a spirit of fraternity, can only strengthen our realization that we are members of one human family. Each of us has his or her religious beliefs and spiritual traditions, but no cultural, political or social borders or barriers prevent us from standing together,” he wrote. “To illumine and direct this openness, let us commit ourselves to a future shaped by interdependence and co-responsibility.”

In their appeal, faith leaders emphasized the pressing need for urgent action in this decade, especially by countries that are mainly responsible for the carbon emissions that are causing climate change and the disasters it produces. They called for the world to limit global average temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels in the immediate future and to achieve net-zero carbon emissions as soon as possible (and not later than 2050).

They also called on wealthier nations and those with the greatest responsibility to step up their climate action at home by reducing carbon emissions and financially supporting vulnerable countries to adapt to and address climate change. The appeal also called for a transition to clean energy and to sustainable land use practices and for responsible financing of development by financial institutions, banks and investors.

“Our faiths and spiritualities teach a duty to care for the human family and for the environment in which it lives,” said the document. “We are deeply interdependent with each other and with the natural world. We are not limitless masters of our planet and its resources.”

“Future generations will never forgive us if we miss the opportunity to protect our common home. We have inherited a garden, we must not leave a desert to our children.”

More than 100 heads of state are slated to attend COP26. Pope Francis is expected to attend the opening session of the COP26 conference in Glasgow on Nov. 1, and he may also meet Queen Elizabeth II during that visit, though the Vatican has yet to confirm this. America has learned from Vatican sources that prior to his visit to COP26, Pope Francis will receive U.S. President Joseph R. Biden Jr. in a private audience in the Vatican’s Apostolic Palace on Oct. 29. President Biden will be in Italy to attend the G20 summit of heads of state in Rome on Oct. 30-31.

Correction: This article has been updated to include Rabbi Daniel Swartz of the Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life as a participant in the Vatican climate.

Really??? I mean REALLY!!!! Makes me want to confront these living, breathing human beings the way Abram confronted Nimrod and his father’s wooden idols!! Do these supposedly intelligent men REALLY all think that the problem is tied to emission control and the USA (using Pope Francis’ implication for the US to rejoin the Paris Accord again) to financially support the other less fortunate nations? Never mind that the whole Earth is in the throes of death…forested areas of the Earth burned down; volcanoes erupting, with no end in sight, I mean, the volcano in the Canary Islands evidently has an unknown source of whatever it is spewing forth; all the earthquakes happening worldwide; MAJOR rivers drying up, for whatever reason,(it has been indicated that Turkey is siphoning the water from the Euphrates); major lakes in western USA drying up. Excuse me, the better vernacular would be DRIED up. Drought and famine are a crushing reality, diseases, food shortages, abortions continuing; and that just scratches the surface! And yet, NOT ONE WORD about mankind sinning against the Creator of Heaven and Earth and ALL that is in them. Not one word! I really think it is about too late. Yehovah will probably tell them Himself, “Go and cry out to your gods you serve to save you.”
