What is Yehovah Showing Us on The 8th Day?

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom to the Royal Family of Yehovah,

Charlie and Lora Skeahan

Last week I shocked some of you with the death of Lora Skeahan. She was a very dear lady to many of you as well as to me. I want to thank each of you who wrote me about her and for your comments at the end of that article and all of our News Letters. Thank you.

I have since been able to find out that Charlie Skeahan died October 25, 2016. I have not been able to stop thinking about Lora and the horrendous way in which she was murdered in July 2018. I would like to dedicate this News Letter to both Charlie and Lora. I know they would not want me to do so. LOL but I also know they are not here to protest.

All Eulogies are written about the person who has died and they are spoken in front of and for those who are alive. This will not be a eulogy. But this is for all of us who are alive.

1Th 4:13  But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them that fall asleep; that ye sorrow not, even as the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also that are fallen asleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we that are alive, that are left unto the coming of the Lord, shall in no wise precede them that are fallen asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these word

The Dead are Asleep

Death

We are first told about death in the Garden of Eden.

Gen 2:9  And out of the ground the LORD God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Gen 2:15  The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Yehovah did not make us to die. He made Adam to live forever. Adam would be alive today and all of us could be talking with him “IF” he had of obeyed Yehovah and not touched the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. But….

Gen 3:1  Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’” But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths.

Satan, the god of this world, is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It is by him that death was brought into being. And just as Yehovah said, Adam died in the very same day he was created. Not a 24 hour day but a millennial day. Adam died at the age of 930. If you look at the Millennial chart below in the green on the left-hand side you will see that the millennial day was 980 years long. Adam only lived 930 just as Yehovah had warned him would happen if they ate of the tree of Satan.

Solomon wrote about this evil, death.

Ecc 9:1  But all this I laid to heart, examining it all, how the righteous and the wise and their deeds are in the hand of God. Whether it is love or hate, man does not know; both are before him. It is the same for all, since the same event happens to the righteous and the wicked, to the good and the evil, to the clean and the unclean, to him who sacrifices and him who does not sacrifice. As the good one is, so is the sinner, and he who swears is as he who shuns an oath. This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that the same event happens to all. Also, the hearts of the children of man are full of evil, and madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead. But he who is joined with all the living has hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion. For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished, and forever they have no more share in all that is done under the sun.

At the very end of the Bible, you are told that death is going to be done away with.

Rev 21:3  And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his peoples, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God: and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away.

World religions, which are developed by Satan, teach that if you are a good person, you go to heaven and that if you are a bad person, you burn in hell. Some say that when you die you become a spirit and live with your family members who have already died. And others say that after you have died and are judged, you will be reborn, or come back to life with a different body, perhaps as another person or even an animal. Religions also teach that when a human dies, his soul keeps on living. Is that true?

When someone dies, their feelings and memories do not keep on living somewhere else such as in heaven or hell or purgatory. When we die we can’t see, we can’t hear, and we can’t think anymore.

Eccl 9:5 For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing,

Psa 146:4  When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish.

We have a few stories to look at now. I want to first read the story of Lazarus.

Joh 11:11  After saying these things, he said to them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awaken him.” The disciples said to him, “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.” Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that he meant taking rest in sleep. Then Jesus told them plainly, “Lazarus has died, and for your sake I am glad that I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him.” So Thomas, called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with him.”

Yehshua said that death was the same as going to sleep.

I Am the Resurrection and the Life

Joh 11:17  Now when Jesus came, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days. Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles off, and many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to console them concerning their brother. So when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, but Mary remained seated in the house. Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that whatever you ask from God, God will give you.” Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” She said to him, “Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.”

Martha knew the dead would rise on the resurrection day which was on the last day. We are going to learn much more about that day today in this News Letter.

Jesus Weeps

Joh 11:28  When she had said this, she went and called her sister Mary, saying in private, “The Teacher is here and is calling for you.” And when she heard it, she rose quickly and went to him. Now Jesus had not yet come into the village, but was still in the place where Martha had met him. When the Jews who were with her in the house, consoling her, saw Mary rise quickly and go out, they followed her, supposing that she was going to the tomb to weep there. Now when Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet, saying to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in his spirit and greatly troubled. And he said, “Where have you laid him?” They said to him, “Lord, come and see.” Jesus wept. So the Jews said, “See how he loved him!” But some of them said, “Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man also have kept this man from dying?”

Jesus Raises Lazarus

Joh 11:38  Then Jesus, deeply moved again, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of the dead man, said to him, “Lord, by this time there will be an odor, for he has been dead four days.” Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”  So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this on account of the people standing around, that they may believe that you sent me.” When he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out.” The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”

I love this story. Even Yehshua weeps for His friend who had died and was indeed dead four days already. In this event, Yehshua shows He is more powerful than Satan and can bring people back from the grave. Again death is compared to a deep sleep.

We can read about Stephen when he was murdered that he too fell asleep.

Act 7:54  Now when they heard these things they were enraged, and they ground their teeth at him. But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. And he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”  But they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears and rushed together at him. Then they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their garments at the feet of a young man named Saul. And as they were stoning Stephen, he called out, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” And falling to his knees he cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

The apostle Paul  also wrote that some Christians had “fallen asleep in death.”?

1Co 15:3  For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.

Yehovah did not make man to die. He made man to live forever. Again Solomon wrote of this

Ecc 3:11  He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

The word eternity here is the word

H5769   (Strong)  ?ôlâm    ?ôlâm  o-lawm’, o-lawm’

From H5956; properly concealed, that is, the vanishing point; generally time out of mind (past or future), that is, (practically) eternity; frequentative adverbially (especially with prepositional prefix) always: – always (-s), ancient (time), any more, continuance, eternal, (for, [n-]) ever (-lasting, -more, of old), lasting, long (time), (of) old (time), perpetual, at any time, (beginning of the) world (+ without end). Compare H5331, H5703.

It is Satan is the one who is the murderer. Because of Satans lies to Eve, Adam and Eve were in effect murdered by Satans lies.

Joh 8:42  Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me. Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me.

Sadly, Adam and Eve chose to disobey Yehovah. They believed the lie told to them by Satan and since then all of mankind has died since. Death is the enemy of Yehovah.

1Co 15:26  The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

This enemy, death, has prevented Yehovah’s plans for mankind from going forward for the past 5855 years. Look at the vast universe and know that Yehovah has made you for a purpose in that universe, but death cuts us off from achieving those things Yehovah has in mind for us. And we all die because we like Adam and Eve have believed Satan and set him as our authority at some time during our lives. Now that the veil has been removed from our eyes we can look back and see how we did not obey Yehovah.

A long time ago, Job asked a question:

Job 14:14  If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my service I would wait, till my renewal should come.

The answer to this question is found again in the Torah. It is explained and understood by the doing of the Sabbath and the Holy Days of Lev 23. You must be a doer of the law and not just hearer only in order to understand.

Jas 1:22  But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.

Understanding The 8th Day

Last weeks News Letter was banned on FaceBook. And I posted this picture to show I was in FB jail.

One of the people I shared with you last week was also banned from Facebook. He posted pictures as I have of Hitler and the leader of the Jerusalem Islamic group. So I am going to interject here with his message. If you are following me on Facebook and not through our web site, know that ventually, we will no longer be allowed on Facebook. So sign up for our News Letter now and do not miss an issue.

But this picture from the game of Monopoly also shows us death. No one wants to go there. We are dragged off to death in many ways. It is how Satan holds us and it is one of the tools he uses to control us by our fear of death.

But this News Letter is not here to talk about death. We are here to encourage you as Paul said by telling you about Life. The Life that Yehovah wants you to have and how you can attain it. But not just about being alive, through the understanding of the Holy Days we can understand what Yehovah has planned for us when we are alive with Him.

We are currently counting the Omer. This Sabbath is the 7th Sabbath since when. It is the 7th Sabbath since the morrow after the Sabbath when the wave sheaf was taken in.

Today is the seventh day of the seventh week of seven weeks. Today is the forty-ninth day of the counting of fifty days from the day of the waving of the Omer on the morrow after the Sabbath.

Psalm 67:1-7 Elohim does favour us and bless us, Cause His face to shine upon us. Selah. 2 For Your way to be known on earth, Your deliverance among all nations. 3 Let the peoples praise You, O Elohim, Let all the peoples praise You. 4 Let the nations be glad and sing for joy! For You judge the peoples uprightly, And lead the nations on earth. Selah. 5 Let the peoples praise You, O Elohim; Let all the peoples praise You. 6 The earth shall give her increase; Elohim, our own Elohim, blesses us! 7 Elohim blesses us! And all the ends of the earth fear Him!

A Prayer of Thanksgiving – Psalm 138:1-8

Psa 138:1  A Psalm of David. I will give thee thanks with my whole heart: Before the gods will I sing praises unto thee. I will worship toward thy holy temple, And give thanks unto thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. In the day that I called thou answeredst me, Thou didst encourage me with strength in my soul. All the kings of the earth shall give thee thanks, O Jehovah, For they have heard the words of thy mouth. Yea, they shall sing of the ways of Jehovah; For great is the glory of Jehovah. For though Jehovah is high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly; But the haughty he knoweth from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me; Thou wilt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies, And thy right hand will save me. Jehovah will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy loving kindness, O Jehovah, endureth for ever; Forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Yehovah told us to count from the day after the weekly Sabbath during the days of Unleavened Bread.

Lev 23:15  And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave-offering; seven sabbaths shall there be complete: even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meal-offering unto Jehovah.

Stop now and think.

What day is this talking about? It is Sunday, the day Yehshua ascended to Heaven. But what Day is this?

It is the 1st day of the week and at the same time, it is also the 8th Day of the Week starting with the week before.

On this day that we are to start the count from something very huge took place.

Let me now, once again, quote to you from one of the very first articles I wrote when we began this work in 2005. Pentecosts Hidden Meaning. And I do encourage you all to read this article especially those who are new and learning to keep the Holy Days.

The Wave Sheaf Day

We all know He, Yehshua, was killed as the Passover Lamb on Nisan 14. We know He died in 31 A.D and that Nisan 14 was a Wednesday. The sign of Jonah had to be completed in all of its phases. The only sign that was given to us that Yehshua was the Messiah was the sign of Jonah. Yehshua said that the function of three days and three nights in the belly of the whale or great fish of Jonah was the same as his ministry, and he would be three days and three nights in the belly of the earth (as the great fish). That was the only sign given to prove His ministry. So, that year of 31 A. D., Thursday was the 1st day of Unleavened Bread and the 15th day of the month. Friday was the Preparation day for the weekly Sabbath and was the 16th day of that 1st month. Saturday was the weekly Sabbath and was the 17th day of the month of Aviv. Three days and three nights. So Yehshua rose from the grave on the Sabbath just before sunset, just as He was placed in the grave Wednesday late afternoon just before sunset. Three days and three nights as prophesied. These facts alone prove the Lunar Sabbath theory to be a false teaching because that Sabbath was not on the 14th or the 15th as they claim.

As we move on to the 1st day of the week we are told the following.

Matt.28:1 Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.

Luke 24:1 Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them,* came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. 2 But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. 3 Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. 5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, 7saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ ” 8 And they remembered His words. 9 Then they returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles.

But it is in John 20 that we learn more.

John 20:1 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. 2 Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.” 3 Peter therefore went out, and the other disciple, and were going to the tomb. 4 So they both ran together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first. 5 And he, stooping down and looking in, saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there, 7 and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself. 8 Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. 9 For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. 10 Then the disciples went away again to their own homes. 11 But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. 12 And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. 13 Then they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.” 14 Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.” 16 Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher). 17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.‘ ” 18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her. 19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

I have marked out in bold that it was the first day of the week, before dawn, Yehshua had not yet ascended to heaven but was about to. It was the first day of the week. I have presupposed that you understand that the wave sheaf offering is Yehshua. Let me back up a little.

The Wave Sheaf Offering was waved at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning within the 7-day feast of the Unleavened Bread. The general wave offering was brought by the worshipper and made in conjunction with the priest (Ex. 29:24-25). We know that the Samaritans and the Sadducees kept a Sunday Wave Sheaf and a Sunday Pentecost. That is an important factor in history. The Jews do not keep the Wave Sheaf because they keep a Sivan 6 Pentecost, which came from the traditions of the Pharisees in rabbinical Judaism after the Temple was destroyed. We know that the Samaritans keep the 14th and 15th and the concept of the Wave Sheaf and counting the Omer from Sunday within the feast. So from the Temple period and right throughout, including the Samaritans, Pentecost has been kept on a Sunday. The early church kept Pentecost on a Sunday. Only the Pharisaical Jews kept a Sivan 6 and only after the Temple was destroyed.

The Wave Sheaf Offering needs to be kept in order to understand the full implications of Yehshua’s sacrifice and the power that he was given in terms of his resurrection from the dead. The Wave Sheaf Offering is an ancient requirement of Israel within the Torah. The ordinance is found in Leviticus 23:9-14 and also in Exodus 29:24-25 and other texts. It is poorly understood by scholars and ignored by many. It is a mandatory ordinance associated with the feast of the Passover and controls both the timing of Pentecost and the consumption of the new harvests (Lev. 23:9-14). To put it in its modern perspective, we should look at the significance of the timing of Yehshua’s death.

Lev 23:9  And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring the sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest unto the priest: and he shall wave the sheaf before Jehovah, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. And in the day when ye wave the sheaf, ye shall offer a he-lamb without blemish a year old for a burnt-offering unto Jehovah. And the meal-offering thereof shall be two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah for a sweet savor; and the drink-offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin. And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched grain, nor fresh ears, until this selfsame day, until ye have brought the oblation of your God: it is a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

The Wave Sheaf Offering was known as sfirat haomer, that is, “the counting of the omer”, because on this day we begin to count the fifty days to Pentecost. It is described in

Lev. 23: 10 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 He shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted on your behalf; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12 And you shall offer on that day, when you wave the sheaf, a male lamb of the first year, without blemish, as a burnt offering to the Lord. 13 Its grain offering shall be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to the Lord, for a sweet aroma; and its drink offering shall be of wine, one-fourth of a hin. 14 You shall eat neither bread nor parched grain nor fresh grain until the same day that you have brought an offering to your God; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
This cutting of the first barley sheaf was a lively ceremony. The sheaf was cut the evening before on the edge of the city in front of a small crowd of worshippers. And they would do as they are told in

Duet. 26:1 “And it shall be, when you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and you possess it and dwell in it, 2 that you shall take some of the first of all the produce of the ground, which you shall bring from your land that the Lord your God is giving you, and put it in a basket and go to the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide. 3 And you shall go to the one who is priest in those days, and say to him, ‘I declare today to the Lord your God that I have come to the country which the Lord swore to our fathers to give us.’ 4 Then the priest shall take the basket out of your hand and set it down before the altar of the Lord your God. 5 And you shall answer and say before the Lord your God: ‘My father was a Syrian, about to perish, and he went down to Egypt and dwelt there, few in number; and there he became a nation, great, mighty, and populous. 6 But the Egyptians mistreated us, afflicted us, and laid hard bondage on us. 7 Then we cried out to the Lord God of our fathers, and the Lord heard our voice and looked on our affliction and our labor and our oppression. 8 So the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm, with great terror and with signs and wonders. 9He has brought us to this place and has given us this land, “a land flowing with milk and honey”; 10 and now, behold, I have brought the first fruits of the land which you, O Lord, have given me.’ Then you shall set it before the Lord your God, and worship before the Lord your God. 11 So you shall rejoice in every good thing which the Lord your God has given to you and your house, you and the Levite and the stranger who is among you.
But it should be duly noted that the wave sheaf had to be prepared before it was waved in front of the Lord. Because it reads in

Leviticus 2:11 ‘No grain offering which you bring to the Lord shall be made with leaven, for you shall burn no leaven nor any honey in any offering to the Lord made by fire. 12 As for the offering of the first fruits, you shall offer them to the Lord, but they shall not be burned on the altar for a sweet aroma. 13 And every offering of your grain offering you shall season with salt; you shall not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your grain offering. With all your offerings you shall offer salt. 14 ‘If you offer a grain offering of your first fruits to the Lord, you shall offer for the grain offering of your first fruits green heads of grain roasted on the fire, grain beaten from full heads. 15 And you shall put oil on it, and lay frankincense on it. It is a grain offering. 16Then the priest shall burn the memorial portion: part of its beaten grain and part of its oil, with all the frankincense, as an offering made by fire to the Lord.

So here we see that the first fruits were a grain offering; an offering of Green Ears, or green heads. It was to be roasted. The grain was to be beaten from the husks of the barley. And it was to have salt added to it, as well as Frankincense.

If we ignore the wave sheaf offering we are missing out on a significant part of the Passover Sacrifice. Yes, we all understand that Yehshua was the Passover Lamb killed at the end of the 14th day. And we can connect the dots in this between the lambs being killed at this same time and then eaten on the 15th and the death of Yehshua in all details exactly the same as the lambs were on Passover.

But answer this question. When was the Lamb ever beaten? When did the lamb have its body beaten so badly that the flesh was exposed so that the bones of the ribs could be counted? It was not. Not a bone was to be broken. But the Barley Sheaf was to be beaten. It was to be beaten until the grain was exposed and fell from the husk. The Lamb was never beaten. The lamb in one sense represented Yehshua and in another sense the Barley also represented Yehshua.

Yehshua would then have to be killed as the lamb and beaten as the barley and presented before Yehovah.

Each and every detail that was foretold in scriptures was to be fulfilled on that Passover day. Beaten is foretold in

Isaiah 53:4 Surely He has borne our grief’s And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

The consecration of the first-fruits sanctifies the whole harvest since the part stands for the whole. As Paul puts it,

Rom. 11:16 “If the dough offered as first fruits is holy, so is the whole lump”

By the symbolic gesture of consecrating the first fruits, the whole of the harvest was consecrated to Yehovah.

The idea that the consecration of a part exercises a sanctifying influence on all is applied in the Bible to the plan of salvation.

Jer. 2:3 Hos. 9:10 “Israel was holy to the Lord, The first fruits of His harvest”

Because Israel was called by Yehovah to exercise a sanctifying influence on all nations. Similarly, like Believers, we are as James put it ” a kind of firstfruits of His creatures” because we are called to be a sanctifying influence in the world.

Jas 1:18  Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Now, once again this year notice what you are told in only one place in all the Gospels. Only in Matthew are you told this.

Mat 27:50  And Jesus cried again with a loud voice, and yielded up his spirit. And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake; and the rocks were rent; and the tombs were opened; and many bodies of the saints that had fallen asleep were raised; and coming forth out of the tombs after his resurrection they entered into the holy city and appeared unto many.

These Saints came back to life when? “and coming forth out of the tombs after his resurrection”. They came back to life after Yehshua had been resurrected at the end of the Sabbath and just as the wave sheaf day was to begin. These Saints were the wave offering. They were the First Fruits offering and along with Yehshua. This is what the wave sheaf offering was showing us and showing all of Israel all those years if they could only see it.

Those who arose from the dead at the time of Yehshua’s resurrection became the first fruits, that is, the pledge of all those who will rise at the time of Yehshua’s return

Paul again is explaining this in

Eph 4:8  Therefore it says, “When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men.”  (In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower regions, the earth?  He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.)

This is why the Thessalonians could comfort each other. They understood what these Holy Day events in Lev 23 meant.

1Th 4:13  But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words.

I know for a fact that when Lora and Charlie and spent the erev Shabbat in their hotel room and I explained these things to them, they both got very excited having not completely understood these things before hand. But then they did and were so appreciative of this understanding.

Paul specifically calls Yehshua’s resurrection the first fruits of those who will rise from the dead.

1Cor.15:20-24 “20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the first fruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.”

In this passage, Paul speaks of Yehshua twice as “the First Fruits,” not only to indicate that He was the first to rise bodily from the grave, but also that by so doing He fulfilled the offering of the first fruits, at Passover. We have noted that the Omer of the Sheaf of Barley was waved before Yehovah, by the priest as a pledge of the full harvest that would follow. The ceremony was performed on the day after the weekly Sabbath at about 9 AM, Sunday Morning. ” The wave sheaf offering, specifically the roasted omer of grain, with salt and frankincense, was a type of Christ, the “first fruits” or pledge, of the great harvest that will follow when all the righteous dead are raised at the second coming of Yehshua.

Yehshua rose from the dead on the eve of the very day that the wave offering was presented in the Temple ( Lev. 23:14, Luke 23:56, 24:1) As the first sheaf was a pledge and assurance of the ingathering of the entire harvest, so the resurrection of Yehshua is a pledge that all who put their trust in Him will be raised from the dead.

Please take note. The Priest did not present before Yehovah just one head of grain, but a whole Omer of Barley. Salted and Frankincense were also added. Similarly, Yehshua did not come forth from the grave alone, for “many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised” (Matt. 27:52) Paul tells us that when Yehshua “ascended on high he led a host of captives” ( Eph. 4:8 RSV). Those who were raised at Yehshua’s death and came “out of the tombs after His resurrection” (Matt 27:53) ascended with Yehshua to heaven as trophies of His powers to resurrect all who sleep in the grave. Just as the Omer of Barley was a pledge of the coming harvest, so the saints that Yehshua raised at the time of His death are a pledge of a future harvest of Saints.

We must pause here and ask the question. It says in;

John 3:13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

This was Yehshua speaking to Nicodemus, and when Yehshua said it, it was true. No one but Yehshua had gone to heaven. Not until Yehshua died, and was raised up from the grave. Then He took a host of Saints to Heaven for the very first time.

I have just quoted many scriptures that prove this, and Paul himself says so. But look at what John is shown in his vision in

Rev 4:1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” 2 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. 3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. 4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. 5 And from the throne proceeded lightning’s, thundering, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. 6 Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.

8 The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” 9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: 11 “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”
There are now 24 elders in heaven sitting on thrones, wearing white robes. These are the saints that ascended to heaven with Yehshua at His resurrection. If this is beyond your comprehension then stop here and reread all that I have said up until now. These are the first fruits. Yehovah is showing us that He is going to do as He said and raise us up from the dead. This is so unbelievable: Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses and the prophets. All the scriptures say first fruits. Never first Fruit in the singular. Never Yehshua alone, but with others.

Who are these elders again?

Elder is in Strong’s Concordance

#4245 originally spelt presbuvteroß and means -elder, of age, the elder of two people, advanced in life, an elder, a senior , forefathers , a term of rank or office.

Note that it means forefathers-humans who were born and lived before us. These 24 elders were not created by Yehovah but were born on earth and lived and died having not received the promise. But now John is telling us they are now in Heaven with Yehovah and have now received that promise. How great is this? How unbelievable?

Also note that in Matt.5:13 Yehshua told the apostles that they and we are the salt of the earth. We are the salt of the wave offering.

But there is another wave offering to be fulfilled at Pentecost.

Lev 23:16  You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath. Then you shall present a grain offering of new grain to the LORD. You shall bring from your dwelling places two loaves of bread to be waved, made of two tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour, and they shall be baked with leaven, as firstfruits to the LORD. And you shall present with the bread seven lambs a year old without blemish, and one bull from the herd and two rams. They shall be a burnt offering to the LORD, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the LORD. And you shall offer one male goat for a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old as a sacrifice of peace offerings. And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits as a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.

The wheat is what Yehshua spoke of all the time in many parables. You are the wheat. All those you have lived and died since Yehshua came out of the grave that Shabbat in 31 A.D down to the day when the next wave offering is to be made will be raised up at that time and come back to life to meet Him.

1Co 15:51  Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

This is to take place on the Feast of Shavuot.

The Pattern Reveals Truths to Those who will Look

Now that we have shown you again the mystery of Shavuot and the wave offering, do you now see the pattern that is revealing more truths to you?

Wave Sheaf Day takes place on the 8th Day. What happened in this day. The First Fruits of the Saint who had lived and died before Yehshua were brought back to life and ascended to heaven with Him on that 8th Day. This took place during a time when we are to be putting sin out of our lives the same as we put leaven out of our homes.

Next, we have Shavuot taking place on the 8th Sabbath since the wave sheaf day. They are connected in many ways. Shavuot the law was given. Yehovah descended down on Mount Sinai.

Exo 19:16  On the morning of the third day there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud on the mountain and a very loud trumpet blast, so that all the people in the camp trembled. Then Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they took their stand at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was wrapped in smoke because the LORD had descended on it in fire. The smoke of it went up like the smoke of a kiln, and the whole mountain trembled greatly. And as the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him in thunder. The LORD came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. And the LORD called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

We also have the Holy Spirit being given to the Apostles on Shavuot.

Act 2:38  And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Act 5:32  And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”

We have explained to you about sevening of ourselves, which is like we are renewing our oath to obey each time we keep or do a sevening cycle.

We then talked to you about the cleansing for leprously and we said;

Lev 14:7 And he shall sprinkle it seven times on him who is to be cleansed of the leprous disease. Then he shall pronounce him clean and shall let the living bird go into the open field. And he who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes and shave off all his hair and bathe himself in water, and he shall be clean. And after that he may come into the camp, but live outside his tent seven days. And on the seventh day he shall shave off all his hair from his head, his beard, and his eyebrows. He shall shave off all his hair, and then he shall wash his clothes and bathe his body in water, and he shall be clean.
“And on the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish, and a grain offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, and one log of oil. And the priest who cleanses him shall set the man who is to be cleansed and these things before the Lord, at the entrance of the tent of meeting. And the priest shall take one of the male lambs and offer it for a guilt offering, along with the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the Lord. And he shall kill the lamb in the place where they kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the place of the sanctuary.

The Blood of the bird is sprinkled 7 times. Then He is cleansed.

Lives outside his tent 7 days and then on the 7th day to shave his entire body.

Then on the 8th Day-a direct relation to Shemini Atzeret and the Jubilee year and Shavuot, the man is set where? At the entrance to the Tent, at the Threshold of the doorway. The place the lamb is killed, the place of the sin offering is outside the camp on the Mount of Offence. And they are to be waved as a wave offering.

Think of this in millennial terms.

We are outside the camp, the Kingdom of Yehovah for 7 millennia and then…..the 8th Millennium begins

Wave Sheaf Day is on the 8th Day. Life is given to the Saint. Shavuot is on the 8th Shabbat since wave Sheaf day and again the lives will be restored to those who have the Holy Spirit and they only get the Holy Spirit by keeping the commandments also given on this very same day.

Now consider the Jubilee year. It too is the 8th Holy Year in the Jubilee cycle.

Lev 25:10  And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, when each of you shall return to his property and each of you shall return to his clan.

The meaning of this word is very interesting.

H1865   (Strong)  derôr  der-ore’

From an unused root (meaning to move rapidly); freedom; hence spontaneity of outflow, and so clear: – liberty, pure.

Then I looked at the photographic meaning and got some more information.

H1865   (Ancient Hebrew)

H1865 = AHLB# 1089-B (c)

1089) rd (rd DR) ac: co: Circle ab:  The pictograph d is a door representing a moving back and forth. The r is the head of a man. Combined these mean “the back and forth movement of man”. A generation is one revolution of the family line. The Hebraic understanding of order is the continual cyclical process of life and death or renewal and destruction. This root can also have the meanings of circling around of something in a wide area or to cover a large area. (eng: adore – as honor)

A) rd (rd DR) ac: co: Circle ab: A circling around as the flight of a bird or a dance.

Do you now remember what we taught you in our article on sevening yourself? Israel circles Jericho 7 times, the bride circles her husband 7 times at the wedding ceremony.

Liberty, the circling of our Grooms 7 times at the wedding that is to come, which is what Sukkot is all about. But here at Shavuot, we have sevened ourselves counting get Omer for these 7 Sabbaths or 49 Days. And now we are about ot enter Shavuot the 8th Day or the 8th Sabbath and it is connected to Liberty or a man at the door circling. Dare I say 7 times.

Let me ask you then who is at the Door and who is circling around?

Again I remind you to consider the Ancient Hebrew. Alef Bet Gimmel Dalet reading from right to left.

dgba

The Alef is Yehovah. The Bet is HIs tent, HIs Kingdom, the Gimmel is His Authority and the Door Again is through or how we are to enter His tent, His Kingdom. So who is the Rosh, the Head the r circling at the Door the d?

Now it time to read again

The Parable of the Prodigal Son

Luk 15:11  And he said, “There was a man who had two sons. And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of property that is coming to me.’ And he divided his property between them. Not many days later, the younger son gathered all he had and took a journey into a far country, and there he squandered his property in reckless living.

And when he had spent everything, a severe famine arose in that country, and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed pigs. And he was longing to be fed with the pods that the pigs ate, and no one gave him anything.

“But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants.”’

And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. And bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to celebrate.

“Now his older son was in the field, and as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. And he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has received him back safe and sound.’

But he was angry and refused to go in. His father came out and entreated him, but he answered his father, ‘Look, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed your command, yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might celebrate with my friends. But when this son of yours came, who has devoured your property with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him!’

And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.’”

Do you see the Father, the Alef a circling the Door of His Tent?

But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.

Our Father is waiting for us to return to Him. He is circling the Door looking for our return. This is what is encompassed in the wedding ceremony and Sukkot and yet all of this is only dealing with the 7. We are talking about Shavuot and the 8th Holy Day, the 8th Day, the 8th Sabbath, the 8th Sabbatical year also called the Jubilee year. How do we tie them all together? How do we tie the circling or sevening of ourselves with the Holy Spirit being given and the Law being given and the resurrection of the saints the first time and then again for us at Shavuot in just a few years from now? What is the thing that ties all of this together?

Shemini Atzeret

We learn by keeping the Feast of Shavuot, Pentecost that the next wave offering is with wheat which is what we are supposed to be. And we learn in Revelation that this takes place in the last year of the Great Tribulation at Shavuot when the 144,000 are raised up And those who are asleep as Paul says will also be raised from the grave and those of us who are alive in the twinkle of an eye will be changed.

All of this takes place at Shavuot and it is not until you understand the Sabbatical Years and how the Holy Days fit in with the Sabbatical Years that you then understand this last year of the great tribulation takes place in the year 2033.

Your Christian stinken thinken has deceived you if your thinken when you die you then go to heaven at that same time. NOT TRUE!!

But we have explained this many times and I am not about to here. I want to talk about the Holy Day that many never keep. That many just ignore and do not consider. It is in fact what all the other Holy Days of Lev 23 are pointing to. The whole purpose of all the Holy Days are to get to this one.

Lev 23:33 And Jehovah spoke to Moses saying, 34 Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to Jehovah. 35 On the first day shall be a holy convocation. You shall do no work of labor. 36 Seven days you shall offer a fire offering to Jehovah. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you. And you shall offer a fire offering to Jehovah. It is a solemn assembly. And you shall do no work of labor.

Lev 23:39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep a feast to Jehovah seven days. On the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

That is it. That is all we are told about this 8th day. Just that it is a Holy Day.

When I was with the Churches of God this was the day to check out of the hotel. To pay the final bill and pack up the car and as soon as that last song was sung, as soon as that closing prayer was said and the amen uttered, the mad dash to get on the road and going home took place.

In fact, people were so busy planning how to get out and on their way home that they rarely heard the message on this day. But most of them broke this SABBATH DAY by packing and paying bills and by not keeping it Holy. Some in fact never kept it at all especially when it prevented you from getting back to work having taken just 7 days off for the Feast.

You are commanded to keep Seven Days for Sukkot and then after the Last Great Day of the Feast, that is the 7th day then there is another Holy Day and it too is to be kept as Holy As Shavuot and the First high day of Sukkot or Passovers two holy days of Unleavened Bread or Atonement or Trumpets. But many never paid this 8th day the respect it deserves. And many still do not to this very day.

The Eighth Day: Eternal Life Offered to All

What does Yehovah have in mind for those who have never believed in the Messiah or understood any of Yehovah’s truth? How does the Creator provide for them in His plan?
The Bible makes abundantly clear in Acts 4.

Act 4:11 This is the Stone which you builders have counted worthless, and He has become the Head of the Corner. 12 And there is salvation in no other One; for there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

This particular passage raises troubling questions for anyone who believes that Yehovah is desperately trying to save the whole world in this age. If this is the only time for salvation, we must conclude that Yehshua’s mission to save humanity has largely failed. After all, over the centuries billions of people have lived and died without once hearing the name of Yehshua. Even now thousands die every day never having heard of The Messiah.

In spite of the missionary zeal of so many over the centuries, far more human souls have been “lost” than “saved.” If Yehovah is truly all-powerful, why have so many not even heard the gospel of salvation? The traditional portrayal of the conflict between Yehovah and Satan over mankind leaves Yehovah on the losing side of the struggle.

What is the fate of these people? What does Yehovah have in mind for those who have never believed in the Messiah or understood any of Yehovah’s truth? How does the Creator provide for them in His plan? Are they lost forever without any hope of salvation?

We should not doubt Yehovah’s saving power! Let’s examine some common assumptions and come to an understanding of our Creator’s marvellous solution!

Resolving the dilemma

Paul tells us that Yehovah “desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth”

1Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who will have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Peter adds that Yehovah is “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance”

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not purposing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

This is Yehovah’s overriding goal in dealing with mankind: He desires as many as possible to repent, come to the knowledge of the truth and receive His gift of salvation!

Yehshua explained how this will come to pass.

Joh 7:1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee, for He did not desire to walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill Him. 2 And the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near. 3 Therefore His brothers said to Him, Move away from here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see the works that You do. 4 For no one does anything in secret, while he himself seeks to be in public. If you do these things, reveal yourself to the world. 5 For His brothers did not believe in Him. 6 Then Jesus said to them, My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready. 7 The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it, that its works are evil. 8 You go up to this feast; I am not yet going up to this feast; for My time is not yet fulfilled. 9 And having said these things to them, He remained in Galilee. 10 But when His brothers had gone up, then He also went up to the feast, not openly, but as in secret. 11 Then the Jews sought Him at the feast and said, Where is He? 12 And there was much murmuring among the crowd concerning Him, for some said, He is a good man; others said, No, but he deceives the crowd. 13 However, no one spoke openly of Him, because of the fear of the Jews. 14 Now about the middle of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and taught.

Here John 7 describes how Yehshua went to Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles. He appeared publicly and stood in the midst of the people.

Joh 7:37 And in the last day of the great feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, “Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” 39 (But He spoke this about the Spirit, which they who believed on Him should receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Yehshua’s message recorded here most likely was given on the seventh and last day of the Feast of Tabernacles. Scholars vary on whether this was the seventh day or the day following. This is because Leviticus 23 says that the Feast of Tabernacles lasts for seven days yet is followed by an annual Holy Day immediately afterwards on “the eighth day” (verses 33-36, 39). But the weight of evidence and the series of events indicate that John 7 describes incidents on the seventh day while the setting moves to the eighth day in John 8 and 9.

The Eighth Day, the only name the Bible gives this day, has, based on the wording of John 7, come to be known to some as the Last Great Day. Yet it is evidently not “the last day, that great day of the feast” on which Yehshua spoke.

The Eighth Day, we should realize, is a separate festival with its own distinct meaning. Nevertheless, its attachment to the end of the Feast of Tabernacles shows that themes of the weeklong celebration carry over into it. And the words Yehshua spoke at the end of the Feast of Tabernacles anticipated not only what will happen during His 1,000-year reign, but also what will happen on an even greater scale immediately afterwards.

The symbolism of Yehshua’s teaching

What was the significance of Yehshua’s teaching about “living water”? In His day, according to tradition, during the Feast of Tabernacles, the priests would bring golden vessels of water from the Pool of Siloam on the south side of Jerusalem and pour it over the altar. Joyous celebration along with the sounding of trumpets marked this ceremony as the people sang the words of Isaiah: “With joy, you will draw water from the wells of salvation” (Isaiah 12:3). They were looking to Yehovah to provide needed rains for their crops and, in an ultimate sense, for Him to pour out His Holy Spirit on them.

Isa 44:3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground. I will pour My spirit on your seed, and My blessing on your offspring;

Yehshua stood where all could hear Him and drew a lesson from the water, revealing that all who were thirsty could come to Him and be refreshed— forever. In Yehshua’s statement, too, the water represented the Holy Spirit, which those who believed in the Messiah would receive (John 7:39). He showed that the basic wants of spiritual thirst and hunger could be satisfied only by Him as “the bread of life” and the source of living water.

Joh 6:47 Truly, truly, I say to you, He who believes on Me has everlasting life. 48 I am the Bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and died. 50 This is the Bread which comes down from Heaven, so that a man may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the Living Bread which came down from Heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he shall live forever. And truly the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

With all this in mind, we should ask: When would Yehovah’s Spirit become available to all who are spiritually thirsty? Consider that even though thousands came to believe in The Messiah soon afterwards, the vast majority of the ancient pagan world of His day still remained in darkness—as did most of the Jewish people. And not much has changed over the centuries, as even many of those who profess Christianity don’t really understand Messiah’s teachings.

Humanity still hungers and thirsts for the message Yehshua brought—and for the means to live as they ought to and find true happiness. Yehovah’s promise to “pour out My Spirit on all flesh” has not yet been fulfilled except in a small, preliminary way among the few He has called in this age. Only when Yehshua returns will this be fulfilled on a global scale. But billions have died with their deepest spiritual needs unrealized. When will they be refreshed by the life-giving power of Yehovah’s Spirit?

Joe 2:28 And it shall be afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; your old men shall dream dreams; your young men shall see visions.

A physical resurrection to an opportunity for salvation

Many prophecies in Scripture speak of a restored and reunited nation of Israel. On one level this will be fulfilled when Yehshua returns and rules over Israel and all nations.

But notice another prophecy in Ezekiel

Eze 37:3 And he said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord Jehovah, You know. 4 Again He said to me, Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the Word of Jehovah. 5 So says the Lord Jehovah to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 And I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.

This passage describes Ezekiel’s vision of a valley full of bones. Yehovah asks,

“Son of man, can these bones live?” To which the prophet replies: “O Lord God, You know.” Yehovah then says to the bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.”

In this vision a physical resurrection takes place. The account acknowledges the hopeless situation in which these people had found themselves:

“Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!” (verse 11).

Their Creator, however, offers them the hope of a resurrection and the gift of the Holy Spirit in the setting of a reunited nation. In this dramatic vision, ancient Israel serves as the model for all peoples, whom Yehovah will resurrect to physical life. He said:

“Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves . . . I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live” (verses 12, 14).

At this future time, Yehovah will make freely available the life-giving spiritual water of His Holy Spirit.

Yehovah will

“make a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them . . . My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people” (verses 26-27).

The apostle Paul also referred to this yet-future event:

“I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew” (Romans 11:1-2).

As Paul wrote, “all Israel will be saved” (verse 26).

Yet not only Israel, but all who have never had a chance to drink from the living waters of God’s Word and His Holy Spirit will, at last, be able to do so (Romans 9:22-26). God will freely offer them the opportunity for eternal life.

Rom 9:22 What if God, willing to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction; 23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy which He had before prepared to glory; 24 whom He also called, not only us, of Jews, but also of the nations? 25 As He also says in Hosea, “I will call those not My people, My people; and those not beloved, Beloved.” 26 And it shall be, in the place where it was said to them. “You are not My people; there they shall be called sons of the living God.”

The Great White Throne Judgment

In Revelation 20:5 we read of two resurrections. The one that takes place at Shavuot with the Saints and the other at the end of the Millennium.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast nor his image, nor had received his mark on their foreheads, nor in their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

John writes that “the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished.” Here John makes a clear distinction between the first resurrection, which occurs at Christ’s second coming (verses 4, 6), and the second resurrection, which takes place at the end of the 7th millennial reign. Remember that the first resurrection is to eternal life. By contrast, Yehovah raises those in the second resurrection to a physical, flesh-and-blood existence.

John discusses this same second resurrection to physical life that Ezekiel wrote about:

“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works” (verses 11-13).

The dead who stand before their Creator are all those who died never knowing the true God. Like Ezekiel’s vision of dry bones coming back to life, these people emerge from their graves and begin to know Yehovah. The books (biblia in Greek, from which we get the word Bible ) apparently are the Scriptures, the only source of the knowledge of eternal life. Finally, all will have an opportunity to fully understand Yehovah’s plan of salvation.

This physical resurrection is not a second chance for salvation. For these people, it is the first opportunity to really know the Creator. The resurrected are “judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books” (verse 12). This judgment will involve a period during which they will enjoy the opportunity to hear, understand and grow in Yehovah’s way of life, having their names inscribed in the Book of Life (verse 15). During this time billions of people will gain access to Yehovah’s gift of eternal life.

This final commanded festival of the year shows how deep and far-reaching are the merciful judgments of Yehovah. Yehshua spoke of the wonderful truth depicted by this day when He compared three cities that failed to respond to His miraculous works with three cities of the ancient world:

“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon [ancient pagan cities], they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you. And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you” (Matthew 11:21-24).

The inhabitants of ancient Tyre, Sidon and Sodom—cities that had incurred the anger of Yehvoah for their depravity—will receive mercy in the day of judgment. Unlike Chorazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum of Yehshua’s day, these cities of old had little opportunity to know Yehovah. Yet He will ultimately resurrect these people just after the first 1,000 years of 7th millennium, including them in the time of judgment when even those who lived in bygone ages will be reconciled to Yehovah.

In similar examples, Yehshua refers to the people of the ancient pagan city of Nineveh, to the queen of the South (of Sheba) of Solomon’s time and again to ancient Sodom along with Gomorrah, these serving as the epitome of wickedness (Matthew 10:14-15; 12:41-42). Yehovah doesn’t tolerate perversion and sinfulness, but it is evident that He has not finished working in the lives of the people of these ancient generations. This requires that they be resurrected—brought to life again—and at last instructed in Yehovah’s ways.

Yehshua was describing a time during which people from all past ages—the long-dead people of the ancient Assyrian city of Nineveh and the biblical Queen of Sheba from Solomon’s time will rise with those from His generation and live at the same time.

Together they will all come to understand the truth about who The Messiah was and the purpose of life. It will be a time of universal knowledge of Yehovah. From the least to the greatest, all will know Him.

Hebrews 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Those whom Yehshua specifically mentioned, and countless more like them, will at last experience their opportunity for salvation.

This final period of judgment completes Yehovah’s plan of salvation for the world. It will be a time of love, deep mercy and the unsearchable judgment of Yehovah. The chance to drink of the life-giving waters of the Holy Spirit will indeed quench the deepest thirsts of men and women. This time of righteous judgment will bring back to life those long forgotten by humanity, but never forgotten by Yehovah.

What is the fate of those who die with no real knowledge of the Torah and the Plan of Salvation? What hope is there for the billions who have lived and died without the knowledge of Yehovah’s purpose? The Scriptures show that these are not cut off without hope. He will bring them back to life and give them their opportunity for eternal salvation!

Yehovah will see His plan through and bring many sons to glory.

Hebrews 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

His promise to pour out His Spirit on all flesh will find its fullest manifestation. The thirst-quenching waters of the Holy Spirit will be available to all in the time depicted by the Eighth Day, the last of Yehovah’s annual festivals.

What a marvellous plan these biblical festivals portray. How great would be our lack of understanding without them!

Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

Now let us step back and think a little. Ok for some of you that will be a lot.

We read about Aaron and his sins being consecrated for the Priesthood in Lev 8 and as they are getting ready Moses tells them to stay inside the Tabernacle for 7 days.

Lev 8:33 You shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation seven days, until the days of your consecration are at an end. For He shall consecrate you seven days. 34 As He has done this day, Jehovah has commanded you to do, to make an atonement for you. 35 And you shall remain at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of Jehovah, so that you do not die. For so I am commanded. 36 And Aaron and his sons did all the things which Jehovah commanded by the hand of Moses.

Lev 9:1 And it happened on the eighth day. Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel. 2 And he said to Aaron, Take a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram without blemish for a burnt offering, and offer before Jehovah. 3 And speak to the sons of Israel, saying, Take a kid of the goats for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb of the first year, all without blemish, for a burnt offering. 4 Also take a young bull and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before Jehovah, and a food offering mixed with oil. For today Jehovah will appear to you. 5 And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation. And all the congregation drew near and stood before Jehovah. 6 And Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah commanded that you should do. And the glory of Jehovah shall appear to you. 7 And Moses said to Aaron, Go to the altar, and offer your sin offering and your burnt offerings, and make an atonement for yourself and for the people. And offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them, even as Jehovah commanded. 8 Aaron then went to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself. 9 And the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him. And he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar. 10 But he burned the fat and the kidneys and the lobe above the liver of the sin offering on the altar, even as Jehovah commanded Moses. 11 And he burned the flesh and the hide with fire outside the camp. 12 And he killed the burnt offering. And Aaron’s sons presented to him the blood, which he sprinkled all around on the altar. 13 And they presented the burnt offering to him, with the pieces of it, and the head. And he burned them on the altar. 14 And he washed the inward parts and the legs, and burned them on the burnt offering on the altar. 15 And he brought the people’s offering. And he took the he-goat, the sin offering for the people, and killed it and offered it for sin as the first. 16 And he brought the burnt offering and offered it according to the ordinance. 17 And he brought the food offering and took a handful of it, and burned it on the altar besides the burnt sacrifice of the morning. 18 He also killed the young bull and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings for the people. And Aaron’s sons presented to him the blood, which he sprinkled on the altar all around. 19 And they brought the fat of the young bull and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covers the inward parts, and the kidneys, and the lobe above the liver. 20 And they put the fat on the breasts, and he burned the fat on the altar. 21 And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave offering before Jehovah, as Moses commanded. 22 And Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering the sin offering and the burnt offering and peace offerings. 23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out and blessed the people. And the glory of Jehovah appeared to all the people. 24 And there came a fire out from before Jehovah, and burned up the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. And all the people saw and shouted and fell on their faces.

Do you see what has happened?

Aaron and his sons were purified for 7 days and then on the 8th day, Yehovah appeared to them and consumed the burnt offering. I believe this was Atonement when this took place.

The first and most important relationship described in the Torah relating to the Eighth Day is a covenant. For example, a male child is brought into the covenant on the eighth day. It is on the eighth day that the naming ceremony and the Brit Milah (circumcision) are conducted. This is significant because, without circumcision, the child is not considered fully Israel.

Lev 12:1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses saying, 2 Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, If a woman has conceived seed and has borne a male, then she shall be unclean seven days; as on the days of her menstrual impurity she shall be unclean. 3 And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.

For this reason, when David committed the adulterous sin with Bathsheba, the repercussions of his action caused him to lose the child before the Eighth Day. This loss resulted in David not being able to bring his child into covenant the way he and his forefathers had been brought into the covenant as commanded by the Torah (Gen 17:10-15). With David unable to perform his duty because of his uncleanness of sin, his child never reached the age naming in Israel.

In fact, this practice of secluding themselves for purification is spoken of in Lev 8:33-35. There is also a similar passage relating to the future in Eze 43:26-27 where Yehovah says:

“Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish. Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves. And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.”

The final Torah relationship to the Eighth Day deals with acceptance for the purpose of fulfilling Yehovah’s will. For example, when the Torah states:

“When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD” (Leviticus 22:27).

The passage makes it clear that sacrificial animals were to be left with the mother for a complete cycle of seven days. Then after the seventh day, and from that day forward they would be considered acceptable to be offered to Yehovah. So literally on the Eighth Day, they became acceptable. We talked last week about leprosy and mention it now again.

Lev 14:8 And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water so that he may be clean. And after that he shall come into the camp, and shall stay outside his tent seven days. 9 But on the seventh day he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eye-brows; even all his hair shall he shave off. And he shall wash his clothes. He also shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean. 10 And on the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three-tenth parts of fine flour for a food offering, mixed with oil, and one log of oil.

We read of the importance of the 8th day and even the 8th year in many places.

The “eighth day” is mentioned thirteen times in the Pentateuch: Ex 22:29/30; Lev 9:1; 12:3; 14:10, 23; 15:14, 29; 22:27; 23:36, 39; Num 6:10; 7:54; and 29:35. The eighth-year is mentioned in Lev 25:22. The number eight symbolized re-birth, restoration, and salvation.

Now consider that you have just counted 7 weeks of Sabbaths and that the 8th day after the seventh Sabbath is Shavuot.

At Sukkot you have 7 days and then you have the eighth day.

All of this is showing us the plan of salvation.

You have 7 Sabbatical cycles and then the 50th year is the Jubilee year.

All of this sevening and then the eighth is all tied in and related to each other.

Another one to consider. We are at the end of the 6th millennial day. And then the seventh begins.

Many people believe they will see Yehshua at the beginning of the 7th Millennium. But that does not fit any of the patterns from the Torah.

Knowing that Yehovah means Salvation and that Yehshua is Salvation then you all should be able to deduce that Yehovah is Yehshua. They are one and the same. So Yehshua is not coming back at the beginning of the Seventh to dwell on the earth.

But the 8th Day Holy Day shows us that Yehovah will dwell with man in the 8th Millennium.

Rev 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they might shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

Rev 22:3 And every curse will no longer be; but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His servants will serve Him. 4 And they will see His face, and His name will be in their foreheads. 5 And there will be no night there. And they need no lamp, or light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light. And they will reign forever and ever.

It is in the 8th Millennium that Yehovah/ Yehshua will come and dwell on earth with man. It is at this time that the sun and the moon will not be seen because of the radiance of Yehovah/Yehshua from the throne in Jerusalem. For this reason, there is not a ninth Millennium.

Now, do you understand what all these 8s are pointing to when you read about sevening yourself and then you get restored on the 8th day? Now, do you understand why this 8th Day Holy Day is so important? It is the time when Yehovah will come to dwell on this earth and will reign here forever. It takes the earth 7 Millennial days to get ready, to be purified so that Yehovah can come and dwell here. He will not dwell with sin so it must be cleansed.

This is shown in all the purification teachings. But mostly when Aaron and his sons first got ready. They stayed in the tabernacle for 7 days and then sacrificed on the 8th day and then they Saw Yehovah devour the burnt offering. The whole congregation saw it. Why does no one celebrate this event? No instead they corrupt themselves and keep a pagan day and call it Chanukah which has nothing to do with anything Yehovah is doing.

We will see Yehovah on the 8th Millennial day and this is what the Jubilee Years and Shavuot show us. Are you getting ready?

That I May Dwell With Them

I will be testing you all on this next week so study up. But I do want you all to read for sure Part Two The I May Dwell With them. For many of this is a review. For the new people, this is all brand new stuff. Having read all of what we have shared above, please do read part two. Just click on the link below.

Shavuot, the Holy Day you are all keeping this Sunday, May 12, 2019, shows us the day of our changing and meeting Him in the clouds at the end of the 3 1/2 years of Tribulation. This is the year 2033 C.E. It is also showing us of the time when we will be with Him in His Kingdom with the Torah to rule over us and His Holy Spirit in us. It is the true liberty as our Father eagerly awaits our coming as He paced back and fourth 7 times at the Door of the Kingdom as the Father of the Prodigal son eager looked for his return.

May Yehovah richly bless you with the understanding and knowledge and wisdom of each and every one of His Holy Days and all that they mean and represent in HIs Great Plan of Salvation.

    Shalom Joe
I enjoyed your explanation of the 24 elders, but I have a question. These people were just saints that had died. They are in heaven now while more holier people like the patriarchs and the holy prophets are still waiting for the promise. Does that sound right to you?

Shabbat Shalom Aurelio, No that does not sound right.
We are told that The Saints went into Jerusalem after Yehshua came out of the grave. Matthew 27:50 We are not told their names. I assume they could be people like Noah, Abraham, Isaac Jacob, Elijah Enoch etc. But we are not told their names so this would be speculation. I would not dare say the patriarchs were more Holy than the Prophets. We all get the same reward no matter how long we labour in the garden. But we all have different jobs that we will be doing.

AS James says you learn by doing. I will show you my faith by my works. By the things I do. By COunting the Omer I learn things that cannot be expressed in words and I gain the understanding that only comes from above.

    Greeting family,
Lot’s of meat to digest in this newsletter. It really does bring things full circle. So few understand the significance of sevening ourselves through the year and how the Omer count relates to understanding of the Jubilee count and end time prophesy timing understanding.
Be interesting to hear about any natural disasters today. Bond to be something.
Makes sense about the 12 Elders in Heaven. Everyone in their order..
Thanks Mr. Dumond. Very grateful for the timely instruction.
Enjoy the rest of Shavuot all.
Love out to you all from NS., Canada
1Co 15:19  If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

Dearest Joseph Dumond, anointed man of Yahweh and His beloved!
I have to retype this comment now as I made a silly mistake and now the words I typed before are gone but nevermind I believe Yah wants me to keep it short snd simple for you. I want to honour and encourage and empower YOU and ALL you family and ALL involved in your ministry. You truly are set apart and equipped to teach deeper truths for such a time as this. These words are directly from Yahweh’s heart which He told me this morning:”Jo gets it right.” WOW who can say anything against that Jo?! And furyhermore Yah said to me:”Do not touch my beloved.” That was a warning to me too as a get angry in my struggle to understand the Sabbatical cycles and in my anger I start sinning which is so wrong. Please forgive me. I’m learning so much here. Even though a lot of times I don’t finish readingthe whole newsletter I read portions I need right now and Yah takes me into deeper truths. I even started creating a righteous calender on my laptop and hopefully I can finish it and email it to you one day to be corrected or approved. I am deeply inspired every day by the persecution you face and still walk in dignity and grace. I have to do the same. This is where Mark 6:4 comes in handy as an everlasting empowerment:”Jesus said to them: A prophet is not without honour except in his hometown, among his own relatives and in his own household.” And don’t I know this truth deeply. Anyway I wanted to type these words to bless you on this day that the Lord has made so we can rejoice and be glad in it. Amen
Blessed assurance that He will never leave you or forsake you. He will be with you wherever you go. Even until the end of the age. Amen
Love and blessings from above to all people from

Would you explain the reasoning or direct me to a reference that explains the conclusion that a millennium period is defined by 20 jubilee cycles rather than 1000?

Have you read our book Remembering the Sabbatical year of 2016. IN that book my good friends Schalk and Elsa Klee go into great detail explaining this very thing for a whole chapter. I would urge you to get this book and read it as it will explain many questions about the Jubilee Years.
