Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom Brethren,

“Lashon Hara”

This week I have become extremely tired. I have become so tired that I fell asleep before the Hebrew Nations Radio Show and slept right through it. I want to apologize for this and at the same thank Mitch, Krista and Greg for covering for me.

(This News Letter was written a few weeks ago, but I find it very inspiring in light of what is going on around myself and Mitch right now. It is a test. How do each of us respond to those events in that test. Even the title of this weeks News letter although picked out a few weeks ago, also applies to what is taking place around me now. It is a test. Are we going to follow the signs and wonders of those who we think are great or are we going to stick to the scriptural truth of the Torah? That is the question, that is the test.)

Teaching the Truth about the Laws of Yehovah comes at a price that I am often a victim of. Many people hate you for doing and for exposing their sins to themselves and to the world. Once you expose somebodies sins they either repent and change or they attack you and begin to slander your name in order to justify their own non repentance. It is the nature of this job.

There are many of you today who used to do that very thing. You would write me and curse me when I told you that your spreading of conspiracy lies and stories was a sin. The more I exposed the false teaching of chem trails and the Illuminati or how each of the presidents of this or that country are the anti-christ, the more offended some people became and then they attacked me. Now those very same people have admitted their guilt and repented and apologized to me.

What would have happened had I written their names with those exposes?

Others are studying into the false teachings of the lunar Sabbath. They then write me to check out what they have learned. When I expose this false teaching they then turn on me and begin to curse me out and write to others about me being a false teacher because I do not agree with them. After all they have studied into this a great deal. What do I know?

Again after some time many of these people repent from the error of this false teaching and return to the Torah and apologize to me. What would have happened had I retaliated and attacked them on a personal level?

Today there are many and even some of you reading this who are upset with me for exposing the false teachings of the lighting of candles on Sabbath and the false teaching of Chanukah on the 25th of the 9th month and or about Christmas being pagan.

Right now some have begun a letter writing campaign calling me a false teacher and a liar for saying this and other things. Should I retaliate and expose them for the lies they are spreading? What good would it do for them once they do repent down the road? So I am not going to expose those doing this at this time. I will let them continue to spread the lies about me that they seek to do and to which a number of you have written me about telling me that I have to repent.

Brethren there are a couple of scriptures to keep in mind in all of this.

Lev 25:17 And you shall not oppress one another. But you shall fear your God. For I am Jehovah your God.

Lev 25:17 And ye shall not wrong one another; but thou shalt fear thy God; for I am the LORD your God.

We are not to be putting people down or to wrong them even if they deserve a good swift kick in the head. Let Yehovah exact the vengeance due to them. This very command comes from the chapter on keeping the Sabbatical and Jubilee years.

The Power of Speech

Judaism is intensely aware of the power of speech and of the harm that can be done through speech. The rabbis note that the universe itself was created through speech. Of the 43 sins enumerated in the Al Cheit confession recited on Yom Kippur, 11 are sins committed through speech. The Talmud tells that the tongue is an instrument so dangerous that it must be kept hidden from view, behind two protective walls (the mouth and teeth) to prevent its misuse.

The harm done by speech is even worse than the harm done by stealing or by cheating someone financially: money lost can be repaid, but the harm done by speech can never be repaired. For this reason, some sources indicate that there is no forgiveness for lashon ha-ra (disparaging speech). This is probably hyperbole, but it illustrates the seriousness of improper speech.

A Chasidic tale vividly illustrates the danger of improper speech: A man went about the community telling malicious lies about a rabbi. Later, the man realized the wrong he had done, and began to feel remorse. He went to the rabbi and begged his forgiveness, saying he would do anything he could to make amends. The rabbi told the man, “Take a feather pillow, cut it open, and scatter the feathers to the winds.” The man thought this was a strange request, but it was a simple enough task, and he did it gladly. When he returned to tell the rabbi that he had done it, the rabbi said, “Now, go and gather the feathers. Because you can no more make amends for the damage your words have done than you can recollect the feathers.”

Speech has been compared to an arrow: once the words are released, like an arrow, they cannot be recalled, the harm they do cannot be stopped, and the harm they do cannot always be predicted, for words like arrows often go astray.

Tale-Bearing

There are two mitzvot in the Torah that specifically address improper speech: Thou shalt not go up and down as a tale-bearer among thy people (Lev. 19:16), and ye shall not wrong one another (Lev. 25:17, which according to tradition refers to wronging a person with speech).

Tale-bearing is, essentially, any gossip. The Hebrew word for tale-bearer is “rakhil” (Reish-Kaf-Yod-Lamed), which is related to a word meaning trader or merchant. The idea is that a tale-bearer is like a merchant, but he deals in information instead of goods. In our modern “Information Age,” the idea of information as a product has become more clear than ever before, yet it is present even here in the Torah.

It is a violation of this mitzvah to say anything about another person, even it is true, even if it is not negative, even if it is not secret, even if it hurts no one, even if the person himself would tell the same thing if asked! It is said that the telling of gossip leads to bloodshed, which is why the next words in the Torah are “you shall not stand aside while your fellow’s blood is shed.” The story of Do’eig the Edomite (I Samuel Chs. 21-22) is often used to illustrate the harm that can be done by tale-bearing. Do’eig saw Achimelekh the Kohein give David bread and a sword, a completely innocent act intended to aid a leading member of Saul’s court. Do’eig reported this to Saul. Do’eig’s story was completely true, not negative, not secret, and Achimelekh would have told Saul exactly the same thing if asked (in fact, he did so later). Yet Saul misinterpreted this tale as proof that Achimelekh was supporting David in a rebellion, and proceeded to slaughter all but one of the kohanim at Nob.

The person who listens to gossip is even worse than the person who tells it, because no harm could be done by gossip if no one listened to it. It has been said that lashon ha-ra (disparaging speech) kills three: the person who speaks it, the person who hears it, and the person about whom it is told. (Talmud Arachin 15b).

In Jewish law, all things are considered to be secret unless a person specifically says otherwise. For this reason, you will note that in the Torah, G-d constantly says to Moses, “Speak to the Children of Israel, saying:” or “Speak to the Children of Israel and tell them:” If G-d did not specifically say this to Moses, Moses would be forbidden to repeat his words! Nor is there any time-limit on secrets. The Talmud tells the story of a student who revealed a secret that he had heard 22 years earlier, and he was immediately banished from the house of study! (Talmud Sanhedrin 31a)

The gravest of these sins of tale-bearing is lashon ha-ra (literally, “the evil tongue”), which involves discrediting a person or saying negative things about a person, even if those negative things are true. Indeed, true statements are even more damaging than false ones, because you can’t defend yourself by disproving the negative statement if it’s true! Some sources indicate that lashon ha-ra is equal in seriousness to murder, idol worship, and incest/adultery (the only three sins that you may not violate even to save a life).

It is forbidden to even imply or suggest negative things about a person. It is forbidden to say negative things about a person, even in jest. It is likewise considered a “shade of lashon ha-ra” to say positive things about a person in the presence of his enemies, because this will encourage his enemies to say negative things to contradict you!

One who tells disparaging things that are false is referred to as a motzi sheim ra, that is, one who spreads a bad report. This is considered the lowest of the low.

It is generally not a sin to repeat things that have been told “in the presence of three persons.” The idea is that if it is told in the presence of three persons, it is already public knowledge, and no harm can come of retelling it. However, even in this case, you should not repeat it if you know you will be spreading the gossip further.

When Tale-Bearing is Allowed

There are a few exceptional circumstances when tale-bearing is allowed, or even required. Most notably, tale-bearing is required in a Jewish court of law, because it is a mitzvah to give testimony and that mitzvah overrides the general prohibition against tale-bearing. Thus, a person is required to reveal information, even if it is something that was explicitly told in confidence, even if it will harm a person, in a Jewish court of law.

A person is also required to reveal information to protect a person from immediate, serious harm. For example, if a person hears that others are plotting to kill someone, he is required to reveal this information. That is another reason why the commandment not to go about as a tale-bearer is juxtaposed with “you shall not stand aside while your fellow’s blood is shed.”

In limited circumstances, one is also permitted to reveal information if someone is entering into a relationship that he would not enter if he knew certain information. For example, it may be permissible to tell a person that his prospective business partner is untrustworthy, or that a prospective spouse has a disease. This exception is subject to significant and complex limitations; however, if those limitations are satisfied, the person with the information is required to reveal it.

In all of these exceptions, a person is not permitted to reveal information if the same objective could be fulfilled without revealing information. For example, if you could talk a person out of marrying for reasons other than the disease, you may not reveal the disease.

Wronging a Person through Speech

Leviticus 25:17 says, “You shall not wrong one another.” This has traditionally been interpreted as wronging a person with speech. It includes any statement that will embarrass, insult or deceive a person, or cause a person emotional pain or distress.

Here are some commonly-used examples of behavior that is forbidden by this mitzvah:

You may not call a person by a derogatory nickname, or by any other embarrassing name, even if he is used to it.
You may not ask an uneducated person for an opinion on a scholarly matter (that would draw attention to his lack of knowledge or education).
You may not ask a merchant how much he would sell something for if you have no intention of buying.
You may not refer someone to another person for assistance when you know the other person cannot help (in other words, it’s a violation of Jewish law to give someone the run-around!).
You may not deceive a person, even if no harm is done by the deception; for example, you may not sell non-kosher meat to a non-Jew telling him that it is kosher, even though no harm is done to the non-Jew by this deception.
You may not sell a person damaged goods without identifying the damage, even if the price you give is fair for the goods in their damaged condition.
You may not offer a person a gift or invite a person to dinner if you know that the person will not accept.
You may not compliment a person if you do not mean it.

For this reason I am not going to defend myself any more than I already have against the slanderer, that a number of you have written me about and whom you have believed. Because in doing so I would be damaging his character. He is allowed to damage his own character without my help. But for many of you who have jumped on this band wagon and helped to spread these lies, I would like to share one other verse with you.

Pro 26:17  He who passes by enraging himself over strife not his own is like one who takes a dog by the ears, 18  or like a madman who throws firebrands, arrows, and death. 19  so is the man who deceives his neighbor and says, Am I not joking? 20  Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; and where there is no talebearer, the fighting ceases. 21  As coals to burning coals, and wood to fire, so is a quarrelsome man to kindle fighting. 22  The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. 23  Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a broken piece of pottery with silver waste. 24  He who hates pretends with his lips and stores up deceit within him. 25  When he makes his voice gracious, do not believe him; for seven hateful things are in his heart. 26  He whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shown before the congregation.

I am hurt by these things, and hurt by the spreading of it by those who call me their friend. I am also exhausted trying to put out each and every fire that springs up here and then over there as this person goes about spreading his one sided lies. I will no longer respond to anyone about this nor am I going to be chasing any of the feathers he is spreading around in order to protect my reputation. I have in my records of the things he is not telling you. The rest of the story as it was. I am hurt and I am tired and I have work to do. While Satan and his demons go around accusing the brethren, and the “brethren” sucking up every word Satan says, I will be about my Father’s business. I urge you all to do the same.

“Keeping The Sabbath Holy”

I want to share the following with the many new brethren who are now struggling to keep the Sabbath Holy. You have to work and you get off of work after the sunsets on Friday evenings. What do you do?

Here in Ontario the sunset time for our area is 4:42. Sabbath begins at 4:42 Friday evening. My boss knows about my books and has them and is scanning over them. He knows I go away for Sukkot and that I have two radio shows that we do and other things. He does not understand everything. But comes to me to talk about the recent terror events and says I scare him to death when I explain it to him. I have done so about 1/2 a dozen times since we began to work together just over a year ago. Yes I work construction 5 days a week getting up at 4 AM and getting home between 5 PM and 7 PM each night.

Last week one of the other foreman wanted me to work last Saturday. He was not expecting me to say no, as nobody turns down work on the weekend for time and half money. So when I said no I am not working on Saturday he wanted to know why.

I could tell from his demeanor that it would be pointless to explain the real reason, so I just said that I had a life and would not be able to work Saturday. Then the teasing started and the ridiculing began. I Just smiled and shut my mouth and let him go on until he was done. He then asked again and I said no I could not work on Saturday. And then walked away to continue my job.

This week my boss came up to me Thursday and asked me if I could consider working this Saturday. I said no. With no explanations at all. Just No. He was under pressure from his managers to get the job done and he knew I was the best suited to dig the amount of dirt that they had to do. This pressure comes from each of us imagining that our jobs are the most important in the world or that we are the only ones in the world who can do that particular job. We are not indispensable. They can replace you in a flash so do not let them nor yourself feel guilty for not working on the Sabbath.

Again all I said was no and gave no explanation. It is none of their business. I do have a life away from my job. Far too many make their jobs their lives. Not me. It is just a source of income. When this job is done I will find another and have always done so for the past 40 year.

Friday again my boss asked me if there was any way I could work just this one time on Saturday to finish this job. Is this ditch they want me to dig that important that I have to break the Sabbath in order to get it done? I did not even hesitate, no it was not. No I can’t work.

That Friday we had dug our trench and had 4 full cement trucks to pour over the pipes. It was a hectic day as I scrambled to get everything done so as not to be jammed up with sunset at 4:42. The day went great and we had everything done by 1 PM. Then my boss walks over and asked if I would mind if we stayed late tonight an hour or two over time as he had just ordered two more cement trucks full of cement to come towards the end of the day.

Now panic began to set in. These trucks are notorious for showing up late because everyone tries to get the concrete late Friday and then there are the traffic jams on top of this. I looked at my boss and said the latest I can stay is 4:30. I have to be gone by then as I have an appointment. (I did not care if the cement came at 7 or 9 or midnight, I was going at 4:30 PM at the absolute latest. M y Appointment was with Yehovah at Sunset but I did not have to explain that to him) He wasn’t happy but said ok. I then turned away from him and prayed quickly for Yehovah to help. Leaving the crew while they worked would cause everyone to say what is going on.

While we waited for the cement trucks to come, the other guys on the crew began to ask me if I was working on Saturday. I said no with no explanation. They then began to chirp or tease me. I kept silent and smiled and let them say what they would. I told them I have done my time and had no need to work any longer than these five days that we have now done. Again I judged the people I was talking to. Do I explain the Sabbath to them or not? Is this the time or not? My boss already knows, but of these guys, one does and the other is new and does not. Now was not the time. So I left it at no I was not working.

By 2 PM the 5th cement truck had arrived and we poured it. And by 3 PM the 6th truck had come and it was emptied in 1/2 an hour. No need for over time tonight. Yehovah heard my prayer. Nothing fancy, just a request for help to my Father.

I share this with you to encourage you. I too feel the pressure each week  from society to break the Sabbath. I have been working construction a very long time and I have been keeping the Sabbath since 1982. There were a number of times I did break the Sabbath in order to work and each time there were serious consequences to be paid. The first year I came to understand the Sabbath, there was this one time I started my crew Saturday morning and then left them at 11 AM to go the Sabbath group I was attending with. I did this for three weeks in a row. Each week, each and every week right after I had left my crew, they broke a major utility that actually crippled Trois Riviere three times. Major bell, hydro and water strikes. I could not believe how bad my luck was. But luck had nothing to do with it. Yehovah had called me and He was now testing me and I was failing. So He began to apply the correction I needed.

My superintendent then confronted me about what was going on. I was working pipeline which was a 7 day a week job. I figured for sure I was about to be fired. So I told him I was keeping the 7th day Sabbath and was attending church in Montreal. He did not fire me, but he sure gave me an raised eyebrow. The next week there was a memo sent out. Our company would no longer be working 6 or 7 days a week but we were now going to keep things at 5 day a week. I could not believe it.

Brethren, Yehovah has called you. He has chosen you from all other possibilities in the world. He chose you. Yes He in pouring out His Spirit now on all flesh, but only you answered that call and most others did not. And Yehovah gave you the Sabbath to see if you would obey His commands or not. It is a test. Will you pass that test each week; will you pass that test each Holy Day; and will you pass that test when the Sabbatical year comes? This is how He learns where your heart is at.

It is interesting to think about how frequently men think that “what Yehovah says” does not really apply to them or that it does not matter. What they are doing is presuming to add or subtract from His Word.

Yehovah said that He was going to give Israel a test. The test dealt with keeping the fourth commandment, the Sabbath. He wanted to see whether they would obey Him. He then commanded them to prepare for it, so that they could pass the test!

Exo 16:4 Then Jehovah said to Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from the heavens for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain amount every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My Law or not. 5 And on the sixth day it shall happen, they shall prepare what they bring in. And it shall be twice as much as they gather day by day.

The Sabbath is a test. Each week, especially now with the days being so short at this time of year. Will you pass the test again this week and again next week?
Look what happened to Israel who ignored the Sabbath and just how angry doing that made Yehovah. And it makes Yehovah angry still today!

Eze 20:10  And I caused them to go out from the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness. 11  And I gave them My statutes and showed them My judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them. 12  And also I gave them My sabbaths to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am Jehovah who sets them apart. 13  But the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness; they did not walk in My statutes, and they despised My judgments, which if a man does, he shall even live in them. And they greatly profaned My sabbaths. And I said, I will pour out My fury on them in the wilderness to destroy them. 14  But I worked for My name’s sake, so that it should not be profaned before the nations in whose sight I brought them out. 15  And also I lifted up My hand to them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey; it is the glory of all lands;  16  because they despised My judgments and walked not in My sabbaths; and they profaned My sabbaths; for their heart went after their idols. 17  But My eye spared them from destroying them, nor did I make an end of them in the wilderness. 18  But I said to their sons in the wilderness, Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, nor observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols. 19  I am Jehovah your God. Walk in My statutes, and keep My judgments, and do them, 20  and keep My sabbaths holy; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am Jehovah your God. 21  But the sons rebelled against Me. They did not walk in My statutes, nor kept My judgments to do them; the judgments which, if a man do, he shall even live in them; they profaned My sabbaths and I said I would pour out My fury on them, to fulfill My anger against them in the wilderness. 22  But I withdrew My hand and worked for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the eyes of the nations, from whom I brought them out in their eyes. 23  I also lifted up My hand to them in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the nations and scatter them through the lands, 24  because they had not done My judgments, but had despised My sabbaths and had profaned My sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers’ idols. 25  Also I gave them statutes not good, and judgments by which they should not live. 26  And I defiled them in their own gifts, in that they caused all that open the womb to pass through the fire, that I might waste them, to the end that they might know that I am Jehovah.

One of the idols Israel went after instead of keeping the Sabbaths was the worship of passing their new borns through the fire to Molech. Today this exact same worship is called Christmas and for this reason it is for children.

Eze 20:27  Therefore, son of man, speak to the house of Israel and say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed Me, in that they have committed a sin against Me. 28  When I had brought them into the land for which I lifted up My hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered their sacrifices there. And there they offered their provoking gifts. There also they made their sweet aroma, and poured out their drink offerings there. 29  And I said to them, What is the high place to which you go? And the name of it is called High Place to this day. 30  Therefore say to the house of Israel, So says the Lord Jehovah: Are you defiled in the same way as your fathers? And do you go whoring after their abominations? 31  For when you offer your gifts, when you make your sons to pass through the fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols, even to this day. And shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I Live, says the Lord Jehovah, I will not be inquired of by you. 32  And what comes up on your spirit shall not happen at all, that you say, We will be like the nations, like the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone. 33  As I live, says the Lord Jehovah, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, I will reign over you. 34  And I will bring you out from the people, and I will gather you out of the lands in which you are scattered among them, with a mighty hand and with a stretched out arm and with fury poured out. 35  And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face. 36  Just as I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will enter into judgment with you, says the Lord Jehovah.

Last week we told you that Isaiah says that the Rod of Yehovah is Assyria and we have shown you that Assyria is Germany. Assyria or today Germany is going to join forces with Islam to destroy Israel.

Psa 83:3  They take shrewd counsel against Your people, and plot against Your hidden ones. 4  They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, so that the name Israel may be remembered no more. 5  For with one heart they have plotted together; they have made a covenant against You– 6  the tents of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarites; 7  Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the people of Tyre; 8  and Assyria has joined with them; they have helped the sons of Lot. Selah.

Because we will not keep the Sabbath, the Holy Days or the Sabbatical years Yehovah is going to take out His wrath upon us. He is going to have all of us pass under His rod Germany. Every 10th one is Holy and the rest will be killed.

Isa 10:5  Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger! And the staff in their hand is My fury. 6  I will send him against an ungodly nation, and against the people of My wrath. I will command him to take the plunder, and to strip off the spoil, and to trample them like the mud of the streets.

Eze 20:37  And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant. 38  And I will purge out from among you the rebels and those who sin against Me. I will bring them out from the land where they reside, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.

Each and every one of us will be removed from our place. We will be taken from our homes and those who will not keep the Sabbath will be purged. they will die along the way, killed in the coming war or die from the rapes or diseases or starvation.

This is why we continually say over and over for all of us around the world, no matter where we live to keep the weekly Sabbath. To keep the Annual Holy Days and do not add any others not found in Lev 23 to them. And this is why we teach and tell you to keep the Sabbatical year in 2016. Because the 4th curse of Lev 26, the curses for not keeping the Sabbaths is about to come. It starts in 2017 and that nation which Yehovah is furious with, Israel, all 12 tribes is the one He is going to discipline with His ROD, Germany, which Psalm 83 and Daniel warn us is going to join up with Islam and attack us and destroy us. Daniel 9 tells us this destruction is to take place in the middle of this final Jubilee cycle which goes from 1996 to 2044. So the middle is 2020.

Now do you understand why we are so passionate  about all of us keeping the Sabbatical year in 2016 as well as the Sabbath and Holy Days.

Be like Joshua when Yehovah said to him many time.

Jos 1:6  Be strong and of good courage. For you shall divide for an inheritance to this people, the land which I swore to their fathers, to give it to them. 7  Only be strong and very courageous so that you may be careful to do according to all the Law which My servant Moses commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may act wisely wherever you go. 8  This book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it by day and by night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall act wisely. 9  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed. For Jehovah your God is with you in all places where you go.

Brethren, especially those of you who are new or who are alone with no other family or even people around who will keep the Sabbath, Holy Days or Sabbatical year, BE STRONG AND VERY COURAGEOUS FOR YEHOVAH IS WITH YOU!

“Letters”

Shabbat Shalum Joseph, ???? be with you.

Thank you for your newsletter. Chris and I read it together and it was a great opportunity for discussion, learning and joining dots. I hadn’t read the ‘frog in water’ portion previous to sending you an email last night about this weekends heatwave, so was surprised when you mentioned it. Yes, Chris and I can attest to and say we are witnesses to the plagues that Yahuah is bringing upon this country. We have seen with our own eyes and lived and are living through the events you described in your newsletter and in Remembering 2016. We have taken notice and are returning to Yahuah. Thank you for being a watchman and blowing the shofar of warning.

This email is sent to encourage you and to let you see that there is at least one couple in Brisbane that is preparing for the Shemitah. A tithe of people is indeed small. May ???? be merciful and add to the number in Brisbane (and around the world) of those He saves for Himself.

“Signs and Wonders”

This month my friend James Relf and I were discussing the things we are trying to do with sightedmoon.com. James takes care of the web site and is my sounding board for all my ideas. He is brutally honest with me.

We were talking about the Philippines and how to take our message into China and the rest of Asia, as well as how to set up a Yehshiva or school teaching people in Asia about Torah, the Hebrew language, Paleo Hebrew and the Sabbatical and Jubilee teachings as well as many other subjects.

James then gave me this book titles The Heavenly Man. In it is the story of Brother Yun who is teaching the bible to China. It shows the persecution he and many others have had to suffer in order to get the bible taught throughout China in the underground home churches. It is quite the remarkable story. In fact the many beatings and escapes from prison and the visions that he and many others had from God telling them what to do and where to go are unbelievable.

This book was very enlightening to me about the difficulties of China and at the same time I had a great deal of trouble believing it. It bothered me so much that Mitch Greg and I discussed it on our radio show both Tuesday and Wednesday. You can listen the Tuesday show at this link and the Hebrew Nation radio show here.

Understand I get hundreds of emails from people who go to heaven and talk to Jesus and then come back to tell me and others what to do. None of their predictions come to pass and I then ignore them from that point on.

I have also had those who keep Torah claim to have visions and dreams about the end of this world and then tell me my books match their dreams. Then I examine their claims to find out they have said over and over that this year this was to start. Then they said it was now this year two years later. I again walk away from these people.

It is not that I do not believe in dreams and visions because we have written about those dreams that people had concerning this ministry which are coming to pass.

But Brother Yun and what he was telling us was going on in China really conflicted with my understanding of Torah.

How does Yehovah hear the prayers of those who do not obey Him?

We read in Deuteronomy how He would not even listen to Israel when they pleaded with Him when they were sinning.

Deu 1:43  So I spoke to you. And you would not hear, but rebelled against the command of Jehovah, and went presumptuously into the hill. 44  And the Amorites who lived in that mountain came out against you and chased you, even as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, to Hormah. 45  And you returned and wept before Jehovah. But Jehovah would not listen to your voice, nor give ear to you.

So to read of Brother Yun’s exploits conflicted with me. Has Yehovah changed?

Mal 3:6  For I am Jehovah, I change not. Because of this you sons of Jacob are not destroyed.

No Yehovah has not changed, so maybe it is Yehshua who has changed?

Heb 13:8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today and forever.

I understand Yehovah is the one who we hung on the tree and we have many other scriptures that say He does not change. So how do I explain all the miracles that are going on in China? Are we just being lied to or are they real. I believe they are real and this was my confliction.

Joh 9:31 But we know that God does not hear sinners, but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him.

God fearing and does His will. These are the ones Yehovah hears.

What is Yehovah’s will?

Mar 3:35 For whoever does the will of God, the same is My brother and My sister and My mother.

Joh 7:16 Jesus answered them and said, My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 If anyone desires to do His will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it is of God, or I speak from Myself. 18 He who speaks of himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of Him who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him. 19 Did not Moses give you the Law? And yet not one of you keeps the Law! Why do you seek to kill Me?

Jas 1:25 But whoever looks into the perfect Law of liberty and continues in it, he is not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work. This one shall be blessed in his doing.

1Jn 3:22 And whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

The will of our Father is that we DO the commandments, not just hear them, not just talk about them. The Will of our Father Yehovah is that we DO THEM! Every day in all our doings.

Joh 15:7  If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you. 8  In this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, so you shall be My disciples. 9  As the Father has loved Me, so I have loved you; continue in My love. 10  If you keep My commandments, you shall abide in My love, even as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

Joh 14:13  And whatever you may ask in My name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14  If you ask anything in My name, I will do it15  If you love Me, keep My commandments.

1Jn 5:2  By this we know that we love the children of God, whenever we love God and keep His commandments. 3  For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments, and His commandments are not burdensome.

1Jn 2:3  And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commandments. 4  He who says, I have known Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5  But whoever keeps His Word, truly in this one the love of God is perfected. By this we know that we are in Him.

In order for Yehovah to hear our prayers we must keep His Commandments. This is how we love Him, how we show Him we love Him. Those who say they love Him but will not DO the commandments are liars.

OK now lets see what it means to fear Yehovah.

Pro 9:10  The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Pro 1:7  The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Psa 111:10  The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; all practicing them have good understanding; His praise stands forever.

Ecc 12:13  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God, and keep His commandments. For this is the whole duty of man.

The fear spoken of here is the respectful reverent fear of Yehovah.

Pro 2:1My son, if you will receive my words and hide my commandments with you, 2 so that you attend to wisdom, you shall extend your heart to understanding; yea, if you cry after knowledge and lift up your voice for understanding; if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures, 5then you shall understand the fear of Jehovah and find the knowledge of God. For Jehovah gives wisdom; out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly. He keeps the paths of judgment, and guards the way of His saints. Then you shall understand righteousness and judgment and honesty, every good path. 10 When wisdom enters into your heart, and knowledge is pleasing to your soul; 11 judgment shall keep you, understanding shall keep you,

You get this wisdom from Yehovah by asking for it and once you ask for it you must study to show yourself approved.

Jas 1:5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.

2Ti 2:15  Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

We now know what Fearing Yehovah means and we also know what we must do in order for Yehovah to hear our prayers. We must obey Him by keeping the commandments. This is His will and this is how we show Him we love Him. It is all very simple.

Now then what is going on with all these visions and dreams that those who are not obeying Him by keeping the commandments are having? The answer is shown to me in just a couple of scriptures and they also show a great deal of other things we need to consider. I want to look and comment at each verse here as we go.

2Th 2:7  For the mystery of lawlessness is already working, only he is now holding back until it comes out of the midst.

Lawlessness is not a mystery. Those who do not keep the law, those who do not obey Yehovah and keep His commandments are with out the law and lawless.

1Jn 2:18  Little children, it is the last time. And just as you have heard that Antichrist is coming, even now many Antichrists have risen up, from which we know that it is the last hour. 19  They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they were of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out so that it might be revealed that they were not all of us.

2Co_6:14  Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers; for what fellowship does righteousness have with lawlessness? And what partnership does light have with darkness?

1Jn_3:4  Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness, for sin is lawlessness.

Sinner are those who do not and will not keep the commandments of Yehovah.

2Th 2:8  And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming,

Satan is going to be revealed to the world by His not keeping of the commandments. The world is going to think Satan is the Messiah and even call him Jesus believing that he is the Messiah.

2Th 2:9  whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

Satan’s coming is with power and signs and lying wonders. In other words Satan is going to cause miracles to take place. We can even read of this in Revelation where he makes this image or statute talk in front of men and causes many to be deceived by these miracles.

Rev 13:13  And it does great wonders, so that it makes fire come down from the heaven onto the earth in the sight of men. 14  And it deceives those dwelling on the earth, because of the miracles which were given to it to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth that they should make an image to the beast who had the wound by a sword and lived. 15  And there was given to it to give a spirit to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might both speak, and might cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

We will come back to this in a moment. But these miracles here in Revelation and in the book I was reading are the crux of the matter and the cause of confusion.

2Th 2:10  and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved.

Those who will not obey Yehovah are going to perish. And they will fall for the deceit of the evil one because they choose not to keep the commandments. They chose not to obey and keep Holy  the Sabbath or the Holy Days of Lev or the Sabbatical year of Lev 25. They chose not to, but instead they chose the ways of this world.

2Th 2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie, 12 so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned.

This is so powerful to me; so striking, that those who choose not to obey Yehovah and His truths, His commandments, Yehovah is going to help them to actually believe the lie they have fallen for. I see this in many of those who are hooked on the conspiracy teachings. It is never enough and it is always changing. They spend all their time learning this crap and stop learning the word of Yehovah. They may mix the two for w while, but after time the lust for knowledge of conspiracy take them over and the bible is left on the shelf. Paul even warned us of this.

2Ti 3:1  Know this also, that in the last days grievous times will be at hand. 2  For men will be self-lovers, money-lovers, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, un-thankful, unholy, 3  without natural affection, unyielding, false accusers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good, 4  traitors, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5  having a form of godliness, but denying the power of it; even turn away from these. 6  For of these are those who creep into houses and lead captive silly women loaded with sins, led away with different kinds of lusts, 7  ever learning and never able to come to the full knowledge of the truth.

The final part of the verse we are studying here in 2 Thessalonians is as if I wrote it from my own heart to each of you.

2Th 2:13  But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brothers beloved of the Lord, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth, 14  to which He called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15  Therefore, my brothers, stand fast and hold the teachings which you have been taught, whether by word or by our letter.

Many of you have come to know Yehovah through this News Letter, our videos and books. You were seeking the truth of the Torah and by doing this became my brothers and sisters. Yehovah has chosen you from the 7 billion people on this earth, He chose you. Study and do not get side tracked. Warn others and let them know the truth.

Then on the radio show Mitch Houston my co host brought up another awesome scripture.

Deu 13:1  If a prophet rises among you, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder, 2  and the sign or the wonder which he foretold to you occurs, saying, Let us go after other gods which you have not known, and let us serve them, 3  you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For Jehovah your God is testing you to know whether you love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4  You shall walk after Jehovah your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments, and obey His voice, and you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him. 5  And that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has spoken to turn you away from Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slaves, to thrust you out of the way in which Jehovah your God commanded you to walk. So you shall put the evil away from the midst of you.

If someone is performing miracles in front of you or you read about them; if they have dreams that come true and then tell you you do not have to keep the Torah or the commandments of Yehovah. You can eat pork and rest on Sunday then know that Yehovah has sent them to test you. Yehovah was testing me with this book The Heavenly Man. Yehovah is testing us.

What is the test commandment?

We just shared that with you above about the Sabbath. The Heavenly Man book keeps Sunday and eat pork as stated in the book. They do not keep the Saturday Sabbath and the Holy Days nor the Sabbatical year. They do not lead you back to Yehovah but instead create a huge following after this or that “saintly” man. The way the world says is saintly.

We have consistently told you since we began this ministry in 2005 that you are not to follow me or this ministry. You are to repent and return to Yehovah and follow Him and Him alone.

Mal 4:5  Behold, I am sending you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Jehovah. 6  And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to their fathers, that I not come and strike the earth with utter destruction.

Unless you repent, unless our peoples return to Him by repenting and starting to keep the Sabbath and Holy Days of Lev 23 and the Sabbatical years then He is going to send those curses of Lev 26 on us and indeed already is doing this. If we do not repent and return to our Father Yehovah then those curses will continue to come.

Most of the dreamers I have heard of and those having visions try to get you to follow them or lead you away from the commandments. They fail to even mention them.  They are sent to you to test you to see if you will continue to obey Yehovah or not. So when you hear of them or see those miracles then know Yehovah is testing you at that very moment and fear. Fear that you could fail and cause Yehovah no longer to hear your prayers because of your sins.

Isa 59:1  Behold, Jehovah’s hand is not shortened so that it cannot save, nor is His ear heavy so that it cannot hear. 2  But your iniquities have come between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, from hearing. 3  For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perverseness. 4  None calls for justice, nor does anyone plead for truth; they trust in vanity and speak lies. They conceive mischief and bring out iniquity. 5  They hatch adders’ eggs and weave the spider’s web; he who eats their eggs dies, and that which is crushed breaks out into a viper. 6  Their webs shall not become clothing, nor shall they cover themselves with their works; their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands. 7  Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and ruin are in their paths. 8  They did not know the way of peace, and there is no judgment in their paths. They have made crooked paths for themselves; whoever goes in them shall not know peace. 9  Therefore judgment is far from us; nor does justice overtake us. We wait for light, but behold, dimness; for brightness, but we walk in darkness. 10  We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes. We stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in deserted places like dead men. 11  We all roar like bears, and mourn grievously like doves; we look for judgment, but none; for salvation, but it is far off from us. 12  For our transgressions are multiplied before You, and our sins testify against us. For our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them; 13  in transgressing and lying against Jehovah, and going away from our God, talking cruelty and revolt, conceiving and speaking from the heart words of falsehood. 14  And justice is driven back, and justice stands afar off; for truth has fallen in the street, and right cannot enter. 15  Yea, truth fails; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. And Jehovah saw, and it displeased Him that there was no judgment. 16  And He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore His own arm brought salvation to Him; and His righteousness sustained Him. 17  For He put on righteousness like a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on His head. And He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was covered with zeal like a cloak. 18  According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay; fury to His foes, deed for deed to His enemies. He will repay their deeds to the coastlands. 19  So they shall fear the name of Jehovah from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of Jehovah shall make him flee. 20  And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and to those who turn from transgression in Jacob, says Jehovah. 21  As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says Jehovah; My Spirit that is on you, and My Words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed’s seed, says Jehovah, from now on and forever.

Brethren, we all know that many call upon the name of Jesus and call our Lord Lord. but they do not obey Him. You must search your own soul to see if you do the same disqualifying youselves by your sins.

Luk 6:46 And why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say? 47 Whoever comes to Me and hears My Words, and does them, I will show you to whom he is like. 48 He is like a man who built a house and dug deep and laid the foundation on a rock; and a flood occurring, the stream burst against that house and could not shake it; for it was founded on a rock. 49 But he who hears and does not perform, is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, on which the stream burst, and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.

Rom 2:13 For it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified.

Deu 4:1 And now, Israel, listen to the statutes and to the judgments which I teach you, in order to do them, so that you may live and go in and possess the land which Jehovah, the God of your fathers gives you.

Deu 5:1 And Moses called all Israel and said to them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, so that you may learn them and keep and do them.

Deu 6:1 And these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which Jehovah our God commanded to teach you so that you might do them in the land where you go, to possess it, 2 that you might fear Jehovah your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you, and your son, and your son’s son, all the days of your life, and so that your days may be prolonged. 3 Then hear, O, Israel, and be careful to do it, so that it may be well with you, and that you may greatly multiply, as Jehovah, the God of our fathers has promised you, in the land that flows with milk and honey. 4 Hear, O, Israel. Jehovah our God is one Jehovah. 5 And you shall love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

Deu 30:10 for you shall listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the Law, and if you turn to Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 11 For this commandment which I command you today is not hidden from you, neither is it far off. 12 It is not in Heaven, that you should say, Who shall go up for us to Heaven, and bring it to us, so that we may hear it and do it? 13 Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, Who shall go over the sea for us to the region beyond the sea, and bring it to us, so that we may hear it and do it? 14 But the Word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, so that you may do it.

Mat 7:16 You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? 17 Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruits, nor can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bring forth good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you shall know them. 21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works? 23 And then I will say to them I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness! 24 Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.

Brethren the reason I read the Heavenly Man book was to get an insight into the things going on in China. Our message has to go there. Yehovah has invited Israel to the wedding. But far too many come up with excuses why they will not come or will not obey. Yehovah then says he is going to send His armies to destroy Israel because they would not obey and put on the righteous robes for that wedding. They just would not obey so Yehovah said to go all the other nations and invite them. This is the job we are striving to do now. Do not loose your invitation to the wedding by turning back to sin. Do not fail the tests that are coming which come to all of us. Pray and fast; obey and seek with your whole heart Yehovah and His Kingdom so that you will not hear the words I never knew you.

Mat 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of Heaven be likened to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps, but took no oil with them. 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes! Go out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps have gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, No, lest there be not enough for us and you. But rather go to those who sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came. And they who were ready went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut. 11 Afterwards the other virgins came also, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Truly I say to you, I do not know you. 13 Therefore watch, for you do not know either the day or the hour in which the Son of Man comes.

Mat 22:1  And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables, and said, 2  The kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king who made a marriage for his son. 3  And he sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they would not come. 4  Again he sent out other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the marriage. 5  But not caring, they went their ways, one to his field, another to his trading. 6  And the rest took his servants and treated them spitefully, and killed them. 7  But when the king heard, he was angry. And he sent out his armies and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8  Then he said to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they who were invited were not worthy. 9  Therefore go into the exits of the highways, and as many as you shall find, invite them to the marriage. 10  So the servants went out into the highways and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. And the wedding was filled with reclining guests. 11  And the king coming in to look over the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. 12  And he said to him, Friend, how did you come in here without having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13  Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14  For many are called, but few chosen.

YOU have been chosen from the many upon whom the Holy Spirit was poured out in these last days. Value that calling and study.
