The Famine of the Word

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

“The 2nd New Moon”

The Second Hebrew Month begins Monday evening, April 20, 2015

On Monday April 20, 2015, the new moon was sighted from Israel. Yoel Halevi sighted the new moon at 7:35 pm from Kiryat Ata and David Cachicas sighted the new moon from the Galilee at 7:07 pm.

“The Famine of the Word”

Shalom Brethren there have been a number of developments over the weekend that I wanted to share with you all.

But the last news trumped the other two great news events. And this has made me angry, because the first two great events are awesome and were answered prayers.

Many of you like to read what I have to say because, as you say I not afraid to say what needs to be said, a damn the torpedoes mentality. You have come to know that I seek the truth and can’t stand those teaching lies or leading the brethren astray.

You have also seen that when I asked for support for a vineyard, we did precisely that and planted a vineyard.

Well, as I study up on the story of Ruth a few things come to mind. One is how Naomi losses everything. Her home, her husband and her sons, and this type of society she has nothing to fall back on. They were her providers.

She also was greatly disappointed. She hoped for a better life but it was taken away from her before she ever got it by the death of her husband and sons over the course of 10 years.

Everyone talks about the book of Ruth and the great love story it reveals and rightly so. They also talk about how Ruth becomes the ancestress of King David and also of Yehshua and rightly so.

I am not going to talk about those two points at this time. No I want to focus on how this story of Ruth came to be and how it relates directly to you today. This is a personal story to you. You have no idea what is about to happen as a result of what you do or do not do today.

Although the story is set in the period of the Judges (1200-1000 B.C.E.), it is unlikely that it was written at that time. According to the Talmud, “Samuel the prophet wrote his own books, Judges and Ruth.” (Baba Batra 14b)

We know King David came to the throne in 1010 B.C. We also know he was born 1040 BC. and Samuel anointed him King as a youth shortly after this time.

We read in the book of Ruth that this story took place in the time of the Judges. And Saul ruled Israel for 40 years before David, which now brings as to the time before 1050 BC.

Rth 1:1 And it happened in the days when the judges ruled, there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehem-judah went to live in the country of Moab, he and his wife and his two sons.

We also know that the Exodus took place in the year 1379 BC. When Moses sent spies in to the land of Canaan, Joshua was one of those chosen. He was a leader of his tribe.

Num 13:1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses saying, 2 Send men so that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give to the sons of Israel. You shall send a man from every tribe of their fathers, everyone a ruler among them. 3 And Moses by the command of Jehovah sent them from the wilderness of Paran. All those men were heads of the sons of Israel.

And we know Joshua died at the age of 110.

Jos 24:29 And it happened after these things, Joshua, the son of Nun, the servant of Jehovah, died, being a hundred and ten years old.

I am going to guess that Joshua was between 21 and 30 years of age in order to lead the Israelite against the Amalekites, which was at the beginning of the Exodus.

The time of the judges begins with Joshua’s death and this then is approximately 1287 BC.

Now Naomi’s Grandson was Obed who would later father Jesse who later fathered David.

Rth 4:17 And the women, her neighbors, gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi. And they called his name Obed. He is the father of Jesse, the father of David.

This story of Ruth then takes place about the 1100-1200 BC. Only about 100 years or so after Joshua died. This is important to understand, as the Exodus and the miracles of Moses and the miracles of Joshua were not that far back in time that they might have been forgotten. For us it is like the Founding of Canada or the American revolution.

Of this time we read twice in Judges the following.

Jdg 17:6 In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his eyes.

The first time was about mid Judges and the very last time was the last verse of Judges, which would then have been about the time of Samuel the prophet just before the days of King David.

Jdg 21:25 In those days there was no king in Israel. Every man did the right in his own eyes.

There is nothing new here. Today our society does what is right in their own eyes. What was evil before WW II is not evil today. What changed? Our Morals have changed because we now tolerate sin and as we were warned we now call evil good and good evil.

It was the same in the time of the Judges. When strong moral leaders ruled, the people lived in peace. When immoral leaders ruled there were consequences exactly as we have today. We have immoral leadership elected by an immoral society of which you all are apart. Your morality is tarnished because you also tolerate sin.

The same battle cry now goes out to you as it did to the people of Israel, as Joshua was about to die. What are you going to do?

Jos 24:14 Now, then, fear Jehovah, and serve Him in sincerity and truth. And put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt, and serve Jehovah. 15 And if it seems evil to you to serve Jehovah, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served Beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live. But as for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah.

Whom will you serve? Are you going to serve Yehovah, then do it. Or are you going to serve yourselves just as it was written; everyman did what was right in his own eyes.

You choose, because I have grown tired of Judah laughing at us, as we continuously are fighting and back biting amongst ourselves and many of you following every wind of conspiracy that blows across your desk.

Many of you are now saying you will serve Yehovah just as they did when Joshua challenged them. But be forewarned, if you go back on your vows Yehovah will punish you even after He has blessed you.

Jos 24:16 And the people answered and said, Far be it from us to forsake Jehovah to serve other gods. 17 For Jehovah our God is He who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. And He did those great wonders in our sight, and kept us in all our way in which we went and among all the people through whom we passed. 18 And Jehovah drove out from before us all the people, even the Amorites who lived in the land. We will also serve Jehovah, for He is our God. 19 And Joshua said to the people, You cannot serve Jehovah, for He is a holy God. He is a jealous God. He will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. 20 If you forsake Jehovah and serve strange gods, then He will turn and do you harm, and destroy you after He has done you good. 21 And the people said to Joshua, No, but we will serve Jehovah. 22 And Joshua said to the people, You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen Jehovah, to serve Him. And they said, We are witnesses.

So whom will you serve?

By your own mouths you are witnesses.

But read what the people at that time did after Joshua died, unbelievable.

Jdg 2:8 And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Jehovah, died, being a hundred and ten years old. 9 And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnath-heres, in mount Ephraim, on the north side of the hill Gaash. 10 And also all that generation were gathered to their fathers. And there arose another generation after them who did not know Jehovah, nor even the works which He had done for Israel. 11 And the sons of Israel did evil in the sight of Jehovah, and served Baals. 12 And they forsook Jehovah, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt. And they followed other gods of the gods of the people who were around them, and bowed themselves to them, and provoked Jehovah to anger. 13 And they forsook Jehovah and served Baal and Ashtaroth. 14 And the anger of Jehovah was hot against Israel, and He delivered them into the hand of spoilers who spoiled them. And He sold them into the hand of their enemies all around, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.

The history of the judges is the cycle of oppression and then deliverance followed by more sinning and then more oppression. And you people are no different.

Jdg 2:16 But Jehovah raised up judges who delivered them out of the hand of those who spoiled them. 17 And yet they would not listen to their judges, but they went lusting after other gods, and bowed themselves to them. They turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked in, for they had obeyed the commandments of Jehovah; these did not do so.

Do you now listen to your judges? Do you now support those whom you admit are gifted in the Spirit of Yehovah and are teaching you? Or are you all still doing what is right in your own eyes? It is time for you all to wake up and see the horror that is coming because you will not obey.

Are you any different than the Jews before WW II. They kept the Sabbath the same as you and probably better than you do. They kept the Holy Days the same as many of you do. So what is it that is going to save you from the coming holocaust; your belief in Jesus? The one who did away with the law? What is it that is going to save you from what is coming? You will know them by their fruits, by the things they do, not by the things they say.

We read in the first two verses of Ruth some bizarre events and they force us to stop and ask what is going on here?

Rth 1:1 And it happened in the days when the judges ruled, there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehem-judah went to live in the country of Moab, he and his wife and his two sons. 2 And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehem-judah. And they came to the fields of Moab and stayed there.

Why is there a famine in the land, which was supposed to be a land of milk and honey? What happened?

We are told they are in the days of the judges with everyone doing what was right in their own eyes. First problem. We are also told there is a famine in the house of bread, which is what Beth Lehem means.

And in the very last chapters of Judges we are told of the story where a Levites concubine is murdered on the threshold of the door in which he stayed in Bethlehem and this resulted in a war in which most of Benjamin is wiped out and they then go and kidnap wives for themselves.

And the last verse is everyman did what was right in his own eyes.

And it is of this same Bethlehem that we are told in Micah something as well.

Mic 5:2 And you, Bethlehem Ephratah, you being least among the thousands of Judah, out of you He shall come forth to Me, to become Ruler in Israel, He whose goings forth have been from of old, from the days of eternity.

But notice the very next verse. Has this yet happened? Has Israel returned? Judah was born back into the land in 1947, but not the rest of Israel. Where are they?

Mic 5:3 Therefore He will give them over until the time the one giving birth has given birth; then the rest of His brothers shall return to the sons of Israel.

Your going into captivity until the birthing begins.

I am wondering if any of you noticed this next thing also.

The two places in Judges where it says every man did what was right in his own eyes have events that take place at Bethlehem. We just read of the second one where Benjamin is destroyed because of the death of the Levites concubine in Bethlehem.

The first place this is said is in the story of the Levite who left Bethlehem to go and make an idol, which the tribe of Dan took along with this Levite to be their priest. And this is the beginning of the many false gods of the Irish people to this day.

Jdg 17:5 And the man Micah had a house of gods, and made an ephod and household gods, and anointed one of his sons, who became his priest. 6 In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his eyes. 7 And there was a young man out of Bethlehem-judah of the family of Judah, and he was a Levite. And he stayed there. 8 And the man went out of the city from Bethlehem-judah to live where he could find a place. And he came to Mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.

I also want to point this out to you. Do you assume Jeremiah is speaking only of those children killed when Herod sought to kill every first born age 2 and under? It is connected to Rachel who is buried at Bethlehem.

Gen 35:19 And Rachel died and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem. 20 And Jacob set up a pillar upon her grave. That is the pillar of Rachel’s grave to this day.

Jer 31:10 Hear the Word of Jehovah, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands afar off. And say, He who scattered Israel will gather him and keep him, as a shepherd keeps his flock. 11 For Jehovah has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of the one stronger than he. 12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of Jehovah, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the sons of the flock and the herd. And their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not pine away any more at all. 13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together; for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them and make them rejoice from their affliction. 14 And I will fill the soul of the priests with fatness, and My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, says Jehovah. 15 So says Jehovah: A voice was heard in Ramah, wailing and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping for her sons; she refuses to be comforted for her sons, because they are not.

Rachel is weeping for her children more than one son, not just those of Benjamin killed by all of Israel and not just those killed by Herod at the birth of Yehshua. No she is weeping for her son Benjamin who now resides amongst the Jews and for Joseph who resides amongst the tribes of Israel. They are all about to go to war and be no more. It is these that she weeps for. The countless millions that are about to die because every one of them does what is right in their own eyes just as many of you do.

But then after this we read the hope of Yehovah

Jer 31:16 So says Jehovah: Hold back your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears; for your work shall be rewarded, says Jehovah. And they shall come again from the land of the enemy. 17 And there is hope for your future, says Jehovah, that your sons shall come again to their own border. 18 I have surely heard Ephraim mourning to himself, saying, You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bull not broken in; turn me, and I shall be turned. For You are Jehovah my God. 19 Surely after I was turned, I repented; and after I was taught, I struck on my thigh. I was ashamed, yea, I even blushed, because I bore the disgrace of my youth. 20 Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a delightful child? For as often as I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still. Therefore My heart is troubled for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says Jehovah. 21 Set up waymarks, make sign posts for yourself. Set your heart toward the highway, the way you went. Turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these your cities. 22 How long will you turn to and fro, O faithless daughter? For Jehovah has created a new thing in the land; a woman shall enclose a man. 23 So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, Again they shall speak this word in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I shall again bring their captivity: Jehovah bless you, O home of justice and mountain of holiness.

Getting back to Naomi. Her husband and two sons leave Bethlehem and go to Moab and that alone should send off all sorts of flags. The Moabites led Israel to worship Baal Peor also known as the god of holes. This is the god of oral and anal sex. They tolerated this sort of lifestyle enough that the two sons married women who worshiped this god.

Each of those men then died. The Father first and then the two sons 10 years later. Naomi must be feeling bitter towards Yehovah for she no longer has any support. She is now destitute. But they had left the land of Yehovah to go a land of a false god.

The Land of Milk and Honey was suffering a famine of bread. The house of bread was without bread. Why was this? We are told Yehovah will bless us “IF” we obey Him.

Lev 26:3 If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments and do them, 4 then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. 5 And your threshing shall reach to the vintage, and the vintage shall reach to the sowing time. And you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. 6 And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down and none shall make you afraid. And I will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

Yes we read in the book of Ruth of famine in the land of Bethlehem. The results of the curses of Lev 26 mention famines many times. Count them for yourself.

Lev 26:18 And if you will not yet listen to Me for all this, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. 19 And I will break the pride of your power, and I will make your heaven like iron and your earth like bronze. 20 And your strength shall be spent in vain. For your land shall not yield its increase, neither shall the trees of the field yield their fruits. 21 And if you walk contrary to Me, and will not listen to Me, I will bring seven times more plagues on you according to your sins. 22 I will also send wild beasts among you, who shall bereave you. And I will destroy your cattle, and make you few. And your highways shall be deserted. 23 And if you will not be reformed by Me by these things, but will still walk contrary to Me, 24 then I will walk contrary to you and will punish you seven times more for your sins. 25 And I will bring a sword on you that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant. And when you are gathered inside your cities, I will send the plague among you. And you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy. 26 When I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight. And you shall eat and not be satisfied. 27 And if you will not for all of this listen to Me, but will walk contrary to Me, 28 then I will walk contrary to you also in fury. And I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. 29 And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters you shall eat.

Why do we read the story of Ruth as we approach the Feast of Shavuot? Do you only see the love story there with Boaz? Do you not see this other story where Naomis family left the House of Bread to go to the house of another god, the god of anal and oral sex? Do you not see the same thing in our society today?

Can you not see how they left the House of Bread for another god. What does the bread represent?

Joh 6:29 Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that you believe on Him whom He has sent. 30 Therefore they said to Him, What sign do you show then, so that we may see and believe you? What do you work? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the desert, as it is written, “He gave them bread from Heaven to eat.” 32 Then Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Moses did not give you that bread from Heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from Heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from Heaven and gives life to the world. 34 Then they said to him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. 35 And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes on Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you also have seen Me and do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me shall come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will in no way cast out. 38 For I came down from Heaven, not to do My own will but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 And this is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all which He has given Me I should lose nothing but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes on Him should have everlasting life. And I will raise him up at the last day.

Joh 6:41 Then the Jews murmured about Him, because He said, I am the bread which came down from Heaven. 42 And they said, Is this not Jesus the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How now does this One say, I have come down from Heaven? 43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, Do not murmur with one another. 44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who has sent Me draw him, and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the Prophets, “And they shall all be taught of God.” Therefore everyone who hears and learns from the Father comes to Me. 46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God, He has seen the Father. 47 Truly, truly, I say to you, He who believes on Me has everlasting life. 48 I am the Bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and died. 50 This is the Bread which comes down from Heaven, so that a man may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the Living Bread which came down from Heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he shall live forever. And truly the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

This bread of life is the word, the Torah, it is Yehovah in the flesh.

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and tabernacle among us. And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and of truth.

We are also told that it was the Levites who were to teach the people the Torah. To teach them how to eat this Bread of Life.

2Ch 35:3 And he said to the Levites who taught all Israel, who were holy to Jehovah, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, built. It shall not be a burden on your shoulders. And serve Jehovah your God and His people Israel,

And when the land is obeying the law what happened. Fear fell on the nations around them. Do you see any nations around us today that fear us? Not one. This should also be telling you something about the times we are in.

2Ch 17:9 And they taught in Judah and had the book of the Law of Jehovah with them, and went around throughout all the cities of Judah and taught the people. 10 And the fear of Jehovah fell on all the kingdoms of the lands around Judah, so that they did not make war against Jehoshaphat.

Do you have teachers going from city to city teaching the word of Yehovah?

We now go from the days of the kings to the days of Nehemiah and again it is the Levites that are teaching the people and helping them to understand the Torah.

Neh 8:7 And Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the Law. And the people were in their place. 8 And they read in the Book of the Law of God, clearly. And they gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading. 9 And Nehemiah, the governor, and Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people, said to all the people, This day is holy to Jehovah your God. Do not mourn or weep. For all the people wept when they heard the words of the Law.

Now today we all have come out of our pagan churches. Many of you continue to hold on to your Christianity with its many false and wrong teachings. You just add Torah observance to those traditions. You get mad when people like me come along and show by the scriptures where you are wrong and we tell you to repent. There is no way you could be wrong of course, what were we thinking? So you curse us and belittle us as they did the prophets of old.

And yet you are wrong because you hold on to your pagan roots. You mixed the seed of truth with the seed of good and evil and you do not know the difference most of the time. So you end up looking for teachers to prove you right instead of those who teach the truth and tell you to repent and show you why.

You just read how the Levites helped the people to understand the Torah, which many of you want and need.

Nehemiah then goes on to say something very profound.

Neh 13:10 And I saw that the portions of the Levites had not been given to them; for the Levites and the singers, who did the work, had fled each one to his field. 11 And I contended with the rulers and said, Why is the house of God forsaken? And I gathered them together and set them in their place. 12 And all Judah brought the tithe of the grain and the new wine and the oil into the treasuries.

The Levites were no longer able to teach because they had to go and work their own land in order to survive. That means that they did not have time to ‘sepher’ the word of Yehovah and draw the needed conclusions to their teachings. It means their teachings became like pabulum. There was no time to do the extra study needed to find the meat teachings. It means the people were not being taught the Torah on any levels and this is why they forgot about the miracles of Moses.

It is no different today.

You all want to be fed the truth of the Torah. You want teachers to teach you. But you will not support those teaching you. And you settle for milk teachings like the peace and prosperity message out there, or the name it and claim it teaching and you do not ever get the meat teachings your souls desire. And when you do you are not ready for them and you reject them, because you are still babies on a milk diet.

Here we are Counting the Omer. We begin this season with the First Fruits that you were to give to Yehovah before you took anything else from the land. The First Fruits went to Him. And we end this Counting of the Omer with the First Fruits of the Wheat. Again referring to the Bread of Life Yehovah and Beth Lehem. Before any Wheat could be harvested the first fruits were brought to the Temple and the Levites.

Deu 26:1 And it shall be, when you come into the land which Jehovah your God gives you for an inheritance, and possess it, and live in it, 2 you shall take of the first of all the fruit of the earth which you shall bring of your land that Jehovah your God gives you, and you shall put it in a basket, and shall go to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to place His name there. 3 And you shall go to the priest in those days, and say to him, I profess today to Jehovah your God that I have come into the land which Jehovah swore to our fathers to give us. 4 And the priest shall take the basket out of your hand and set it down before the altar of Jehovah your God. 5 And you shall speak and say before Jehovah your God, My father was a Syrian ready to perish. And he went down to Egypt, and stayed there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and many. 6 And the Egyptians ill-treated us, and afflicted us, and laid hard bondage on us. 7 And when we cried to Jehovah, the God of our fathers, Jehovah heard our voice and looked on our afflictions and our labor and our oppression. 8 And Jehovah brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with fearful might, and with miracles and with wonders. 9 And He has brought us into this place, and has given us this land, a land that flows with milk and honey. 10 And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land which You, O Jehovah, have given me. And you shall set it before Jehovah your God, and worship before Jehovah your God. 11 And you shall rejoice in all the good which Jehovah your God has given to you, and to your house; you, and the Levite, and the stranger in your midst. 12 When you have made an end of tithing all the tithes of your increase the third year, the year of tithing, and have given it to the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow (that they may eat inside your gates and be filled), 13 then you shall say before Jehovah your God, I have brought away the holy things out of my house, and also have given them to the Levite, and to the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all Your commandments which You have commanded me. I have not broken Your commandments, neither have I forgotten. 14 I have not eaten of it in my mourning, neither have I put any of it away for unclean use, nor have I given of it for the dead. I have listened to the voice of Jehovah my God, and have done according to all that You have commanded me. 15 Look down from Your holy dwelling, from Heaven, and bless Your people Israel and the land which You have given us, as You swore to our fathers, a land that flows with milk and honey. 16 Today Jehovah your God has commanded you to do these statutes and judgments. You therefore shall keep and do them with all your heart and with all your soul. 17 You have today said that Jehovah is your God, and that you would walk in His ways, and keep His statutes and His commandments and His judgments, and listen to His voice. 18 And Jehovah has taken you today to be His peculiar people, as He has promised you, and to keep all His commandments, 19 and to make you high above all nations which He has made, in praise and in name and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to Jehovah your God, even as He has spoken.

So now the smart asses will write me and say the following. I say this because they serve the god of holes, of anal and oral sex.

They will write and say they do not have a farm and have no crops so they have nothing to tithe. Others will write and say we have no temple so how do we bring it to the Temple? And others still will write and say who are the Levites, and we can’t know for sure who they are so how do we tithe?

If we had the Temple today, they would not send anything to it. If we knew who were Levitical Priests were, they would still not send them tithes. They can find 101 or more excuses why they will not help to support something they both want and need in having teachers to teach them.

They will not support the Jewish rabbi because he does not believe in Jesus or Yehshua. They do not support the Karaites for the same reason. They do not support those who do believe in Yehshua because they can’t prove they are Levites.

Because the people were not being taught the Torah, there came a famine to Bethlehem and this is why Naomi and her family left for Moab.

Yehovah said;

Num 18:20 And Jehovah said to Aaron, You shall have no inheritance in their land, neither shall you have any part among them. I am your part and your inheritance among the sons of Israel. 21 And behold, I have given the sons of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Does this say only the crops or does it say ALL IN ISRAEL?

I have given the sons of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance

In the past I have written against tithing to those who do not support the temple work. I have not changed this position. Are those who teach you the deeper levels of the Torah doing the Temple work? If they are then you had better be supporting them.

Are those teaching you, telling you not to keep the Sabbath nor the Holy Days nor the Sabbatical years and if so are they doing the Temple work?  The answer is no. Anyone telling you, that you do not have to keep the Sabbath or Holy Days or the Sabbatical years is not doing the work of the Temple. Then why in the world are you supporting them? These people who ask for millions for their leer jets and penthouses, you know are false teacher.

Those who do not teach you to obey the Commandments including the Sabbatical years and the third tithe year; Why are you helping them lead others astray?

Amo 8:10 And I will turn your feast into mourning, and all your songs into weeping; and I will bring up sackcloth on all loins, and baldness on every head. And I will make it like the mourning of an only son, and the end of it like a bitter day. 11 Behold, the days come, says the Lord Jehovah, that I will send a famine in the land; not a famine of bread nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the Words of Jehovah. 12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east; they shall run to and fro to seek the Word of Jehovah, and shall not find it.

Have you ever thought why there was a famine of the word? May I suggest it was because the people did not support those teaching them? May I also suggest the people really did not believe and were only going through the motions pretending as they used to do for one hour on Sundays and flipping some loose change in the offering basket? And may I also suggest the people never truly repented and want to serve Yehovah.

Do you recall at the beginning of this article, many of you said you and your house would serve Yehovah? Does that mean He is your lucky rabbits foot, which you can call on when ever you need something. Israel used to do that very thing with the Ark and while they had it they were sinning all the time everyone doing what was right in their own eyes. And then Yehovah took the ark from them and killed Eli and his sons.

You and I are to serve Yehovah and do His will. Not your will be done but His will be done.

Just as it was in the days of Nehemiah with the Levites out working and not teaching so it is today.

One of the great teachers Eric Bissell is about to loose his house because he has not been able to make the needed repairs from a fire. Now the by-law officer has served them notice that they will be fined $4000 a day for each of the three building involved for every day these by-laws are not remedied. That is $12,000 a day. it is robbery.

The reason Eric has no money for the repairs is this. He has spent all he has on the Paleo Hebrew teachings we have all been benefiting from. The guy who first edited them tried to extort money from Eric for the video. Eric then had to give them all away. He is now making more videos, but…. While he works for some people they do not pay him enough or do not pay him period. And these are brethren or so they assume they are.

Here at sightedmoon.com, I have not been able to pay James now for some time. We are in the process of moving the web site to Israel to avoid the destruction that is coming. The site keeps going down at go-daddy and James fixes it for me. The debts from the booth last fall remain unpaid and I work full time myself to pay off these debts.

Again the anal people will say I am suppose to work my tail off for years in research and then pay a small fortune for publishing of the books with all this research and then give it away. They also expect that those teachers are suppose to take their phone calls and emails and letters and help these people after they have already put in a full days work. They would pay large amounts of money for marriage counselors and therapists. But they consider these services free for the taking.

Has no one read the scripture about not muzzling the ox that treads out the grain?

Because of the 2016 book we have a Bishop teaching all of his pastors, Elders and deacons the Holy Days and Sabbatical years. One entire country is being taught this and we cannot afford to send a couple teachers there to help them get ready for the Sabbatical year. One whole country in Africa is held up because no one is giving any of their fruits let alone their first fruits.

We cannot afford to have the book translated into French or other languages which would help these people understand this. Some have done some translations and others are not completed due to lack of time and money.

Are you even helping the widows this year? It is the year of the tithe to the widow and orphan and levite.

Most people say the Old Testament is done away with but the churches only keep the tithing laws. Those of you reading this letter know none of the Old Testament is done away with, and yet you do not keep the tithing laws. How ironic that the First Baptist churches flourish while not keeping the Sabbath laws and those that do starve.

Read all of Malachi and not just the verse about the tithes.

Mal 3:1 Behold, I will send My messenger, and He will clear the way before Me. And Jehovah, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Angel of the Covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He comes, says Jehovah of Hosts. 2 But who can endure the day of His coming? And who shall stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire, and like fuller’s soap. 3 And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. And He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may be offerers of a food offering in righteousness to Jehovah. 4 Then the food offering of Judah and Jerusalem shall be pleasing to Jehovah, as in the days of old and as in former years. 5 And I will come near you to judgment. And I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those who extort from the hired laborer’s wages, and turning away the widow, and the orphan, the alien, and not fearing Me, says Jehovah of Hosts. 6 For I am Jehovah, I change not. Because of this you sons of Jacob are not destroyed. 7 From the days of your fathers, you have turned aside from My statutes, and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you, says Jehovah of Hosts. But you say. In what way shall we return? 8 Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me. But you say, In what have we robbed You? In the tithe and the offering! 9 You are cursed with a curse; for you are robbing Me, the nation, all of it. 10 Bring all the tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. And test Me now with this, says Jehovah of Hosts, to see if I will not open the windows of Heaven for you, and pour out a blessing for you, until there is not enough room. 11 And I will rebuke your devourer, and he shall not decay the fruit of your ground against you; nor shall your vine miscarry against you in the field, says Jehovah of Hosts. 12 And all nations shall call you blessed; for you shall be a delightful land, says Jehovah of Hosts. 13 Your words have been strong against Me, says Jehovah. Yet you say, What have we spoken against You? 14 You have said, It is vain to serve God; and, What profit is it that we have kept His charge, and that we have walked as mourners before Jehovah of Hosts? 15 And now we are calling the arrogant blessed. Not only are the doers of wickedness built up, they also test God, and escape. 16 Then those fearing Jehovah spoke together, each man to his neighbor. And Jehovah listened and heard. And a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who feared Jehovah, and for those esteeming His name. 17 And they shall be Mine, says Jehovah of Hosts, for the day that I will make up My treasure. And I will pity them as a man has pity on his son who serves him. 18 Then you shall again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God, and him who does not serve Him.

Who is that messenger that is being sent here in Malachi 3:1? You are told in Malachi 4. It is he whom you’re told to gather all the tithes in the storehouse for. So he can do the work that he must do. But would you even recognize him if he was standing in front of you?

Look at the word clear a way in 3:1

H6437   pa?na?h   paw-naw’

A primitive root; to turn; by implication to face, that is, appear, look, etc.: – appear, at [even-] tide, behold, cast out, come on, X corner, dawning, empty, go away, lie, look, mark, pass away, prepare, regard, (have) respect (to), (re-) turn (aside, away, back, face, self), X right [early].

Mal 4:4 Remember the Law of Moses My servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, the statutes and judgments. 5 Behold, I am sending you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Jehovah. 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to their fathers, that I not come and strike the earth with utter destruction.

There is one person who sends me a donation every week for $5 and another for $10 each week. If there were 100 people doing that, it would be $6000 per month. Can you even imagine what we could do with that? And if there were more than 100 people who were willing to serve Yehovah like this person is doing then we could light the world on fire. But it is not that way now, because everyone is doing what is right in their own eyes.

That is the price of a Coffee and donut, or a magazine, or hamburger just once a week. I hope you will think about this next time you by an app for your phone. I also hope those in business will now step up and serve Yehovah with their business ventures by supporting those who are actually doing a work.

In Israel at Passover was a meeting of the Ephraimite Congress. Are you even ready to support such a thing? I have been praying for a building Jerusalem for a headquarters for the next phase of this work. We already have Yehovah leading the way in Africa and in the Philippines. Miracle are taking place to help this come about. You are not ready for these details, because you are all just thinking of yourselves and not how you can help others to learn about the Sabbath, the Holy Days and the Sabbatical years. Had someone not paid it forward I doubt any of you would be hearing about the Sabbatical years from me. But a few people did at that perfect moment.

Have you considered the parable of the wedding feast?

Mat 22:2 The kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king who made a marriage for his son. 3 And he sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they would not come. 4 Again he sent out other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the marriage. 5 But not caring, they went their ways, one to his field, another to his trading. 6 And the rest took his servants and treated them spitefully, and killed them. 7 But when the king heard, he was angry. And he sent out his armies and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they who were invited were not worthy. 9 Therefore go into the exits of the highways, and as many as you shall find, invite them to the marriage. 10 So the servants went out into the highways and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. And the wedding was filled with reclining guests. 11 And the king coming in to look over the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. 12 And he said to him, Friend, how did you come in here without having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14 For many are called, but few chosen.

Yehovah is about to send His armies to destroy Israel, all 12 tribes. The Torah is spreading to the Gentile nations and they are coming in droves. Those seats that Israel could have had to sit in are going to be filled by others. I can see this plainly today. Israel the wealthiest nations in the world cannot find it in themselves to support those teaching them the Bread of Life, the Torah. You can still claim one of those seats at the wedding, but will you?

Brethren Eric Bissil needs your help. He needs your help today, next week and next month. He is one of those teachers helping you to restore the language of Yehovah and the meaning of each letter. He needs your help now. His address is

Get behind those teaching you and support them with your first fruits. If you do not then there will be more than just a famine of the word in our land. Prophecy tells us there will be a severe famine of food as well.

The same thing that drove Naomi out of Bethlehem, the land of milk and honey, is going to drive you out of your homes as well. It all begins with the famine of the word by not having the teachers who can teach you. Once again you get to choose what your going to do.
