E=MC2-The Frequency of Light

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom to The Royal Family of Yehovah,

“Human Rights Day”

Today, December 10th, 2016 is Human Rights Day. Did you know that?

Have you seen the video put out by the United Nations?

The UN then posted the following with this video.

Stand up for someone’s rights today!

Human Rights Day is observed every year on 10 December. It commemorates the day on which, in 1948, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In 1950, the Assembly passed resolution 423 (V), inviting all States and interested organizations to observe 10 December of each year as Human Rights Day.

This year, Human Rights Day calls on everyone to stand up for someone’s rights! Many of us are fearful about the way the world is heading. Disrespect for basic human rights continues to be wide-spread in all parts of the globe. Extremist movements subject people to horrific violence. Messages of intolerance and hatred prey on our fears. Humane values are under attack.

We must reaffirm our common humanity. Wherever we are, we can make a real difference. In the street, in school, at work, in public transport; in the voting booth, on social media.

The time for this is now. “We the peoples” can take a stand for rights. And together, we can take a stand for more humanity.

It starts with each of us. Step forward and defend the rights of a refugee or migrant, a person with disabilities, an LGBT person, a woman, a child, indigenous peoples, a minority group, or anyone else at risk of discrimination or violence.

We continue to teach you and warn you about the UN and how it is the one who has created the Covenant made with many and is known today as the Paris Agreement. Please watch our videos on The Great Enlightenment of Mankind part 1 and part 2. I know they are long, but most of you do not know your history so I had to educate you. Please also review these videos and share them.

It all sounds so noble and so upright and so righteous a thing to do. Human Rights have been slipped into the UNEP from 1972, and then Gay rights were added in 2011. When your leaders go to other nations and they say they are pushing the Human Rights issues with that nation, rarely if ever is it for Christian or Jewish rights. Almost all the time it is for the encouragement of the LGBT rights in those other nations.

We wrote to you a few weeks ago about Trump-Come out of Her My People. All of us who fear Yehovah need to get out of anything and everything put out by the UN.

Again we encourage you to watch our other teaching on Baal Peor part 1 through 3.

“Frequency of Linen and Cotton”

In the past few weeks we have shared with you a subject that I have been looking into and find fascinating. It is the study of frequencies.

We started our study with sound frequencies and we learned about Yehovah’s voice that hovered over the waters and then spoke and all of creation became – His voice, His ruach, His frequencies from each of the Hebrew letters spoken. We also learned that each of those 22 Hebrew letters can then be heard on a 22 string harp when each of the words spoken of in Psalms are played as a chord.

Last week we then looked at the frequencies in the essential oils, noting how every cell of the human body has a frequency also. These oils help to restore the body to its proper frequency. I have also looked into the frequencies of clothing and briefly now mention it.

In 2003, a study was done by a Jewish doctor named Heidi Yellen on the frequencies of fabric. According to this study, the human body has a signature frequency of 100 and organic cotton is the same – 100. The study showed that if the number is lower than 100 it puts a strain on the body. A diseased, nearly dead person has a frequency of about 15 and that is where polyester, rayon, and silk register. Non-organic cotton registers a signature frequency of about 70. However, if the fabric has a higher frequency it gives energy to the body. This is where linen comes in as a super-fabric. Its frequency is 5,000. Wool is also 5,000 but when mixed together with linen the frequencies cancel each other out and fall to zero. The study shows that even wearing a wool sweater on top of a linen outfit collapses the electrical field. The reason for this could be that the energy field of wool flows from left to right, while that of linen flows in the opposite direction, from right to left.

Here is a video to show you how to take your flax plant and turn it into linen. Part one, and part two.

Okay, so I have now touched on it. We have to look at it a little deeper.

ELECTRONIC PROPERTIES

At the electronic cellular level, flax cells are highly complementary with human cells producing a benevolent effect on the human organism. The human cell is capable of completely dissolving a flax cell. It is interesting that flax thread appears to be the only natural material utilized for internal sutures in a surgical setting.

Scientists have discovered that linen fibers reflect light. The light energy aspect of living organisms has been measured by many individuals within the scientific community. Nobel prize winner Dr.Otto Heinrich Warburg identified signature frequency numbers of the average human at 70-90. All results with numbers less than 50 were identified as the signature frequency of chronic disease. Any number less than 15 was identified with those having a diagnosed incurable condition such as cancer.

The measurement of linen fabric measures 5,000 signature frequencies. How do other fabrics compare? Plant fibers like cotton and hemp are not a healing fiber when measuring its signature energy output. Standard bleached and colored cotton measures 40 units of energy. The good news is that organic unbleached cotton measures 100 units of energy which is a ‘normal’ but not a healing fiber. The silk fabric measures 10 units of energy which would fail to support health in the human body. Could it be a low number because of its origin? Silk is produced from an ‘unclean’ insect. Could silk be also made with so many chemicals that it is an unhealthy fabric? Rayon measures at 15 signature frequency. Polyester, acrylic, spandex, Lycra, viscose and nylon measure zero and do not reflect light. Pure wool measures 5,000 units of energy. For any individual desiring to be well the best recommendation from the instructions of the Holy Scriptures is to wear linen. The Biblical warning of wearing wool and linen together proved in scientific studies to be accurate: the energy of these two fabrics put together (wool sweater on top of a linen outfit) collapsed the electrical field as well as wearing of black colored fabric. Where the two textiles measure 5,000 signature frequencies, when put together, these cancelled each other and brought measurable weakness and in some tests even pain to the human body.

HISTORICAL USE

Since the earliest times, flax has been known to have healing properties. Recent studies out of Japan and posted from the linen textile manufacturers confirm this truth. In the Latin language, the word flax means “being most useful” and the Holy Scriptures certainly emphasized this material over all other fabrics for the Holy attire. The original Hebrew language gives the attire of Adam and Eve as a linen robe of light (Genesis 3:21). In establishing the protocols ‘statutes’ of health, the prophet Moses received specific instructions. Cleansing a ‘leper’ meaning those ‘incurable’ gave only three distinct fabrics of attire: wool or linen or leather (Leviticus 13:47-48). It was emphasized as forbidden to wear linen and wool together (Leviticus 19:19 and Deuteronomy 22:11)

Historically the beautiful white linen attire of the Hebrew people was with Almighty God’s specific instructions, the decisions as given in the instructions ‘Torah’ as ordinances (Exodus 39:1-31). What special qualities were in this linen material that would restore life? Comprising a multitude of household items, flax possesses truly exceptional hygienic properties that heighten its value in consumer products and explains its widespread popularity.

Flax is an annual of the family Linaceae. There are over 200 varieties of flax plants that, depending on the regional conditions and climate. Flax blooms in clusters of bluish, navy-blue, and, more seldom, violet, rosy and white flowers that open up at dawn and close and fall at around noon when heat sets in. Each flower blooms for a few hours. Bees collect close to fifteen kg of honey from one hectare of flax field. Researchers found that one will fall asleep faster, sleep deeper, and wake up in a better mood after sleeping in linen! No fabric outpaces linen in natural strength, luster and durability. Ancient healing secrets revealed in the Holy Scriptures instruct that this fabric is considered Holy attire and part of the sanctification path. Linen is an ideal fabric not only for attire but for your table at every meal as a ‘high energy’ tablecloth and napkin.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Flax fabric is an excellent filter protecting against chemical exposure, noise and dust. – Linen clothing reduces solar gamma radiation by almost half thereby protecting humans wearing linen. -Flax fiber retrieved from contaminated soil appears to be totally resistant to harmful radiation. – Linen underwear heightens positive emotions as well as possessing rare bacteriological properties. Resistant to fungus and bacteria, flax is found to be an effective barrier to some diseases. According to Japanese researchers, studies have shown that bed-ridden patients do not develop bedsores where linen bed sheets are used. Wearing linen clothes helps to decrease some skin diseases – from common rash to chronic eczemas. -Linen is highly “hydroscopic” meaning it rapidly absorbs and gives up moisture. Adsorbing water as quickly as a pond surface, before giving a feeling of being wet, linen cloth can absorb as much as 20% of its dry weight. This explains why linen cloth always feels fresh and cool.
Linen does not cause allergic reactions and is helpful in treating a number of allergic disorders. Linen is effective in dealing with inflammatory conditions, reducing fever, and providing a healthy air exchange. Some neurological ailments benefit from the use of linen clothing.

Linen cloth does not accumulate static electricity – even a small addition of flax fibers (up to 10%) to a cloth is enough to eliminate the static electricity effect.
Linen possesses high air permeability and heat – Heat conductivity of Linen is five times as high as wool and 19 times as that of silk. In hot weather those dressed in linen clothing are found to show the skin temperature 3°-4°C below that of their silk or cotton-wearing friends. According to some studies, a person wearing linen clothes perspires 1.5 times less than when dressed in cotton clothes and twice less than when dressed in viscose clothes. Meanwhile in cold weather linen is an ideal warmth-keeper.

Silica present in the flax fiber protects linen against rotting – the preserved mummies of Egyptian Pharaohs were wrapped in the finest linen cloth. Linen rejects dirt and does not get a furry texture; linen and linen-containing articles are easily laundered in hot water, may be boiled and dried in the sun, besides they may be hot-ironed thereby ensuring maximum sterilization; Linen provides a sensation of gentle, natural relief. Linen’s smooth surface and matte luster appears beautiful and feels pleasant to the touch. The more linen is washed, the softer and smoother it becomes.

TESTIMONIES

When wearing 100% linen, many individuals have testified that their healing was rapid. Post injury or surgical pain was substantially reduced (without the use of prescription or over the counter drugs) when using linen bandages and wearing linen clothing.

This information which would be a little noticed matter except for this research which demonstrates why it was a necessary part of the path of faith. A most remarkable testimony was shared by a Karaite Jew: He testified of his linen tallit, (prayer shawl) that was precious to him. This prayer shawl was so familiar to him that it was similar to a well worn Holy Scriptures whose pages had become regularly touched with use. In questioning him as to why he still had it, he opened up to share a remarkable testimony. Thirteen years previously, his wife was in labor and delivered an infant that failed to breathe. Calling the emergency 911 team, they waited gripped with the inevitable loss of an infant in ‘stillbirth.’ Grief stricken, he grabbed his prayer shawl and held his daughter in his arms for an agonizing 30 minutes. He recited the prayers of faith while waiting for the team to arrive. Unbelievably, according to his account, when the paramedics arrived, and had not yet touched the infant, there was a dramatic color change for the infant and breathing had resumed! He testified that this special child has a brilliant mind and does well in school. This amazing miracle involved use of a specific linen tallit that would be ‘swaddling.’ Did this linen prayer shawl contribute to the healing of this infant– demonstrating the benefits of obedience to the specific divine requirements for linen for religious ceremonies as revealed above as recorded in the Holy Scriptures? Testimonies from many individuals confirm that this Biblical clothing protocol brought healing their bodies.

The Holy Scriptures prescribes the wearing of linen or wool (separately of course) for those that are ill and ‘incurable’ in Leviticus 13. Linen is an ideal fabric not only for attire but for your table at every meal as a ‘high energy’ tablecloth and napkin.

In summary, if you wear black clothing, standard cotton clothing, rayon, polyester and nylon stockings, these will hinder your health by discharging and extinguishing one’s electrical field light. When put into nature law depletion, there will be darkness. The human body will struggle with 9 areas of opened windows within the human body vulnerable for attack. The areas of windows in the ‘nerve bundle’ regions of the human body ‘leak’ subtle energy fields with the reserves of mineral charges. The dead battery effect would drain until the cellular function would be termed useless. If you have good flax next to wool or other man made ‘fake’ fibers, the energy signature will ‘discharge’ and one will suffer the consequences. This is the law of nature principle. What is at a higher level will come down to the average of the lower amount unless shielded. If you use cotton, rayon, these are not as strengthening to your body and may serve to keep your health ‘average’ with the typical western illnesses. If you want optimum health and healing and a strengthened immune system, you can choose to follow the instructions of the Holy Scriptures in getting your holy wardrobe knowing that you have the highest blessings available. Bless Yehovah for this new knowledge and seek HIS ways.

BIBLICAL REFERENCES TO LINEN

“And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright: For fine linen is the righteousness of Saints”- Revelation 19:8

The description of the Tabernacle, which formed the central point of worship for the tribes of Israel, the historical record tells us that the curtains were of fine linen. The use of linen was to have holy garments for the priests of the nation for glory and for beauty (Exodus 28:2). On Yom Kippur the High Priest alone entered the Holy of Holies, to make atonement for his house and for the people (Lev. 16); on that occasion he wore white linen garments. Aaron, the high priest, entered the holy place, he put on a holy linen coat-and girdle, and upon his head was a linen cap, This shows the unique place held by linen in the history of ancient times, and the reverence accorded it is further demonstrated in the New Testament, which states that when the Revelation of things to come was vouchsafed to John, the seven angels, who held in their hands the past and future of mankind, were clothed in pure and white linen; and a final quotation from the same Book of Revelation actions informs us that the garments of those chosen for eternal life and happiness will be of fine linen. The use of linen for priestly vestments was not confined to the ancient Israelites, during the birth of the Messiah, we know that linen was a common fabric used by the people and the Temple because of its purity.

What prophecy has been of flax relating to the true Messiah? “A bruised reed shall he not break and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.” – Isaiah 42:3 and Matthew 12:20. These are prophecies that would identify the Messiah to be a light to the Gentiles (Isaiah 42:6).

“E=MC2 and The Spectrum of Light”

Having now covered all of these things on frequency we now must look to Yehovah Himself. He is the light and that light, too is a frequency. What you are about to read is going to leave some of you behind in the dust as we go from a simple understanding to the most complex. That is okay, read it and let it grow on you. You will have this for reference going forward right here at sightedmoon.com.

As I put all of this together in my mind and contemplate on it, I cannot stop and think just how AWESOME is our El. Yehovah is beyond our understanding even though we do try to understand. I am in awe of His creation and of Him.

The Spectrum of Light

This post is a result of my son Daniel’s 8th grade science lesson on “light” in December of 2005 during the season of light as shown by the story and history of the Maccabees.

So, to set the stage, first let’s see what some of the Scriptures have to say about light.

Psa 104:2  covering Yourself with light as with a robe; and stretching out the heavens like a curtain;

Psa 119:105  NUN: Your Word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. 106  I have sworn, and I raised it, that I will keep Your righteous judgments. 107  I am afflicted very much; O Jehovah, give me life according to Your Word. 108  I pray You, take the free-will offerings of my mouth, O Jehovah, and teach me Your judgments. 109  My life is in my hand daily; yet I do not forget Your Law. 110  The wicked have laid a snare for me; yet I do not go astray from Your Commandments. 111  I have taken Your testimonies as an inheritance forever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart. 112  I have bowed down my heart to do Your Precepts always to the end.

Psa 119:130  The entrance of Your Words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

Gen 1:3  And God said, Let there be light. And there was light. 4  And God saw the light that it was good. And God divided between the light and the darkness.

In this verse from Genesis 1:3 the Hebrew word for light is ‘owr, it is written with the letters Aleph Vav Resh. The meaning of the letters are “Strength”, “Connection” and “Beginning”.

This “light” is different in the Hebrew text and its meaning differs from the word we simply translate as “light” in

Gen 1:16  And God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day and the smaller light to rule the night, and the stars also.

There the Hebrew word for light is ma’owr.

H3974 ma?’o?r  ma?’o?r  me‘o?ra?h  me‘o?ra?h

(1,2) maw-ore’, (3,4) meh-o-raw’

From H215; properly a luminous body or luminary, that is, (abstractly) light (as an element); figuratively brightness, that is, cheerfulness; specifically a chandelier: – bright, light.

Everyone knows that darkness is the absence of light.

There is an urban legend that the following quote is from Einstein. It is not but we will use the quote none the less.

Does evil exist?

The university professor challenged his students with this question. Did God create everything that exists? A student bravely replied, “Yes, he did!”

“God created everything? The professor asked.

“Yes sir”, the student replied.

The professor answered, “If God created everything, then God created evil since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are then God is evil”. The student became quiet before such an answer. The professor was quite pleased with himself and boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.

Another student raised his hand and said, “Can I ask you a question professor?”

“Of course”, replied the professor.

The student stood up and asked, “Professor, does cold exist?”

“What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?” The students snickered at the young man’s question.

The young man replied, “In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-460 degrees F) is the total absence of heat; all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat.”

The student continued, “Professor, does darkness exist?”

The professor responded, “Of course it does.”

The student replied, “Once again you are wrong sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact we can use Newton’s prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn’t this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present.”

Finally the young man asked the professor, “Sir, does evil exist?”

Now uncertain, the professor responded, “Of course as I have already said. We see it every day. It is in the daily example of man’s inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil.”

To this the student replied, “Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is not like faith, or love that exist just as does light and heat. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God’s love present in his heart. It’s like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light.”

The professor sat down.

The young man’s name — Albert Einstein.

Isaiah had something to say about this as did Matthew:

Isa 8:20  To the Law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because no light is in them.

Isa 50:10  Who among you fears Jehovah, who obeys the voice of His servant, who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of Jehovah and rest on his God.

Mat 5:14  You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15  Nor do men light a lamp and put it under the grain-measure, but on a lampstand. And it gives light to all who are in the house. 16  Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven.

Most know that the human eye is sensitive to light and able to detect only a small region of the sun’s electromagnetic spectrum known as “visible light”. If you just stop and think about our eyes for a moment you will realize that they are powered by the electrical nervous system of our bodies and the electrical bandwidth if you will, that powers our vision is a mere 2-3 electron volts. To compare, an X-ray machine a high voltage DC power supply capable of producing in excess of 40,000 volts because X-rays are created when electrons are accelerated at high speed and that requires some high voltage.

Therefore, the “visible light” that the human eye is able to see and detect is really quite small. In fact it corresponds to a light wavelength range that is measured between 400 – 700 nanometers (nm). For comparison, if the entire electromagnetic spectrum were stretched from New York to Los Angeles, this visible range equivalent would be the size of a dime. That is not much…

But visible range of 400-700 (nm) can be considered interesting numbers from a Biblically Hebraic perspective! Why?

Just like a computer code, each Hebrew letter has a numeric value, and each Hebrew letter has a meaning. The numerical valuation is known as Gematria. The value of the Hebrew letter Aleph, the first letter is one. The last letter, Tav is four hundred. Tav t t is the Hebrew letter which means “covenant” and it is the sign of a cross.

Often given an independent final value of 700 is the Hebrew “final” Nun n n the Hebrew letter which means a continuation of new life. “Visible light” corresponds to a wavelength range that we measure as 400 – 700 nanometers. Admittedly, a nanometer is merely a unit of measurement, but the interesting thing that my son Daniel and I have realized is that the cross (400) represents life (700).

Update May 1, 2015: The amazing correlation of color wavelengths and the speed of light to Hebrew words and much more are explained in greater through the research of Professor Haim Shore in this important video. If you want to advance to the analysis on light, just fast forward to minute 45, but I highly recommend viewing the entire video to see the bigger picture. It will revolutionize your perception of light and your view of the Bible…

*** NOTE*** Now for those of you who were with me this year in Israel consider the teaching that Aaron Lipken did for us on the giant footprints. This is also to be the focus of our next tour this March. And if you want to go you must fill out the forms and fax them back to Aaron by December 15 with your deposit. Time is now running out and I will cancel the tour if we do not have the needed 35 minimum people signed up by December 15. I am sorry, but the logistics of this tour require our immediate booking of sites.

As I was saying one of the giant footprint sites is in Argaman. There are 7 footprints and I must do more research on this. Argaman  means in Biblical Hebrew, the dye extracted from the snail. This is known as argaman. It was used to make the Royal Purple robes of the Kings. In this video you are going to come across many astounding relationships. One of them are the 7 Hebrew names for the colours which we are about to go into in the next paragraph. We did talk about Argaman in our article on Herding Cats and Joshua’s Altar.

At the time of this writing I have not yet connected the dots from the 7 Gilgal sites to the frequencies of this article. But the colors and the sites and the frequencies and each of the Holy Days are all connected. It is so amazing and yet the greatness of it all still escapes me for the moment. Yet I am seeing such a huge connection.

Math Unveils The Truth! The Torah Was Given by a Supreme Being! according to Professor Haim Shore
My son Daniel was excited to know the relationship that (400) the cross represents life (700) as well as another relationship described by the Biblical prophet Daniel, his namesake:

“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame [and] everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever”. Daniel 12:2-3

The Psalmist tells us:

“TAV. Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word. Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word. My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes. My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments [are] righteousness. Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts. I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law [is] my delight. Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me. I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

Did you see it? The testimony of the Nun and the Tav in Psalms 119? Re-read the opening Scripture in this study. The Nun speaks of the “light” of The Word, the Tav: these speak of His Word which include His statutes, commandments, precepts, law and judgments.” Psalms 119:169-176

Sir Isaac Newton, a very serious Scripture student, proved that light was made up of seven colors.

The Sabbath explains the number 1/7. The Sabbath is one day of the seven days of the week established at creation and 1/7 as an infinite sum of the digits 0.142857. The six repeating digits of 1/7 is a cyclic number, an integer in which cyclic permutations of the digits are successive multiples of the number.

Each week repeats. Each of the 7 moedim of YHVH repeats, the 7 years of the sabbatical cycle repeats.

Notice that a cyclic number with n digits, when multiplied by 1, 2, 3, …, n produces the same digits in a different order. For example, 142857 is a cyclic number: 142857 × 2 = 285714; 142857 × 3 = 428571; 142857 × 4 = 571428; 142857 × 5 = 714285; 142857 × 6 = 857142, and so on.

It has been conjectured, but not yet proven, that an infinite number of cyclic numbers exist. Our infinite God chose the number 7 at creation for a reason.

Yet this “spectrum” comes from a trinity of three colors.

The seven visible colors are from the three primary colors of blue, green and red. In Hebrew these are:

Green – “yereq” – yrq –  qry

Blue – “t?keleth” – slkt – slkt

Red – “admoniy” –  ynmda ynmda

The four other colors of the full spectrum come from these three, they are magenta, cyan and yellow. Bringing all six colors together as one produces the seventh which is pure – perfect white light. NASA tells us: “Each color has a different wavelength. Red has the longest wavelength and violet has the shortest wavelength. When all the waves are seen together, they make white light.”

In Hebrew white is “laban” nbl nbl. Yes, white is the name of Jacob’s father-in-law. He was the original Mr. White!

The Scriptures describe the significance of God’s marvelous infinite “light”:

Psa 4:6  There are many who say, Who will show us any good? Jehovah, lift up the light of Your face on us.

Psa 43:3  Oh send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill, and to Your tabernacles.

Psa 89:15  Blessed is the people that knows the joyful sound; they shall walk, O Jehovah, in the light of Your face.

Isa 2:5  O house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of Jehovah.

Rom 13:12  The night is far spent, the day is at hand; therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

Rev 22:5  And there will be no night there. And they need no lamp, or light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light. And they will reign forever and ever.

Joh 1:4  In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5  And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it.

Joh 1:8  He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

Joh 8:12  Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Joh 9:5  As long as I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.

The Scriptures also describe the spectrum, the rainbow, the glory as the likeness of the appearance of God:

And above the firmament over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone; on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it. Also from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw, as it were, the color of amber with the appearance of fire all around within it; and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around. Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. So when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking. Ezekiel 1:26-28

Light consists of the entire electromagnetic spectrum including, you may have guessed it, seven (7) wavelengths: 1) gamma rays, 2) X rays, 3) ultraviolet radiation, 4) visible light 5) infrared radiation, 6) microwaves and 7) radio waves. The difference in these light forms is simply the length of their waves. Check out this NASA website if you’d like to determine the length of different radio waves.

So too, our Creator gave us a “spectrum” of His seven appointed Feast days which show us the plan of His salvation through the Feasts, His scheduled appointments with mankind. Likewise His seven spirits are described and prophesied by Isaiah to be resting upon the Messiah, our savior. These are described by John in Revelation as a representation of the seven branched menorah, the seven “lamps of fire” which are powered by oil unrepresentative of the Holy Spirit of our God!

Rev 4:5  And out of the throne came lightnings and thunderings and voices. And seven lamps of fire were burning in front of the throne, which are the seven spirits of God.

Now go back and read Isaiah verse 11:2 And the (1) spirit of The LORD shall rest upon him, the (2) spirit of wisdom and (3) understanding, the (4) spirit of counsel and (5) might, the (6) spirit of knowledge and of the (7) fear of The LORD;

This is incredible, so look at the “rainbow” John describes in Revelation and notice the color of the clothes of the elders !! Here we can see a picture of the seven spirits of the God represented by the menorah and a picture of the Tabernacle and the colors described in Exodus 25:2-8:

Exo 25:2  Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring Me an offering. You shall take an offering from every man that gives it willingly with his heart. 3  And this is the offering which you shall take of them: gold, and silver, and brass, 4  and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and bleached linen, and goats’ hair, 5  and rams’ skins dyed red, and dugong skins, and acacia-wood, 6  oil for the light, spices for anointing oil and for sweet incense, 7  onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod and in the breast-pocket. 8  And let them make Me a sanctuary, so that I may dwell among them.

Revelation 4: 2- 5 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and [one] sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and [there was] a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. And round about the throne [were] four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and [there were] seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Amazingly, perhaps we can consider the order of the light spectrum to align with the stated order of the seven spirits of God:

(1) White = Spirit of The LORD
(2) Magenta = Wisdom
(3) Blue = Understanding
(4) Cyan = Counsel
(5) Green = Might
(6) Yellow = Knowledge
(7) Red = Fear, Awe

Color is important and the Bible, the white light of His Word is full of it. White represents hearing and doing all of God’s word. That’s what the priestly duty of wearing a white garment is all about. The priest was not sitting around in a pew only hearing the word, nor standing in a pulpit telling the word. No, the priest was busy doing the words of God’s instruction. This is what James 1:22 speaks to.

It gives us the gospel, the good news story of redemption in the offering of the colors of the linens of the Holy Tabernacle. The colors of blue, purple, scarlet and red are all within the story of the Tabernacle (please read Exodus 28). Purple is repeated in the great story of the Passover of Yeshua (see Mark 15:17). The components also tell the story. The silver, the wood and the incense show us the prophecy of His story as He builds His sanctuary so that He may dwell in us, and use us as precious stones at the heart of His assembly:

“Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering. And this [is] the offering which ye shall take of them; gold and silver, and brass [copper], And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goat’s [hair], And ram’s skins dyed red, and badger’s skins, and shittim wood, Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense, Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate. And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.” Exodus 25:2-8

Exodus 25:31-35 And thou shalt make a candlestick [of] pure gold: [of] beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same. And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side: Three bowls made like unto almonds, [with] a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, [with] a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick. And in the candlestick [shall be] four bowls made like unto almonds, [with] their knops and their flowers. And [there shall be] a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.

Messiah is seen in the design of the pure gold menorah, with its candlestick in the center and the three branches on both sides of course equal seven. With the design of the menorah as shown Moses and John ‘the revelator’, God is showing us a heavenly “shadow picture” of Himself as a visible representation on earth.

Remember, the instruction of the tassels to be worn by everyone?

Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God. Numbers 15:38-40

The blue tread is to help us “remember” God’s instruction.

Moses was explicitly instructed by God to make everything including the menorah exactly as he was shown to do while on Mt. Sinai. Gold is immutable and represents the pure light and beauty of God’s precious and unchanging words of instruction just as Hebrew 6:17-18 tells us. In this way, it is important to recognize that gold never tarnishes… nor does God’s instruction ever fade. Gold does not corrode because gold does not gain or lose electrons. In the same way, God tells us do not add to or take away from His word (see Deuteronomy 4:2). Think about the Biblical instruction, it is repeated in Deuteronomy 12:32 – do not add to or take away from the word. The ark was made of pure gold, it held the 10 commandments.

So, if we would just consider the meaning here, we might consider that “Gold reflects yellow and red, but not blue or blue-green. The direct transmission of light through a metal in the absence of reflection is observed only in rare instances.” (Source: Causes of Color). IN fact, gold strongly reflects red. When you think about the role that red plays in the Passover account, that is significant.

Numbers 8:4 And this work of the candlestick [was of] beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, [was] beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick.

Walking in God’s instruction is like walking on a street of gold. That is why the Bible symbolically shows us the golden streets in Revelation 21:21, and if we walk with the blue tassel, its reflection is not seen because the blue color is absorbed by the gold since it does not reflect light like a mirror. In this way they are one.

Although gold is a heavy, dense metal, it is non-toxic. That is why gold metal leaf may be eaten in foods or drinks.

Remember the 24 thrones of the elders described in Revelation 4:4? Well, 24 karat gold is pure elemental gold. Unlike other metals gold does not change. Gold is a noble metal and it is basically un-reactive and resists degradation by air, moisture or acidic conditions. Pure gold is odorless and tasteless. This makes sense, since the metal is un-reactive.

The golden menorah representing the light of the word of God was not only shown to Moses and John but to Zechariah as well:

I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. Zechariah 4:2-3

Take a look at the graphic above depicting Zachariah’s vision which included the two trees, the two witnesses to God’s word.

We all know that a “rainbow” is an arc of colored light in the sky caused by refraction of the sun’s light into the seven colors of the spectrum. The seven colors of the rainbow are the “basic spectrum” from which all light that we see is composed. Although these colors merge smoothly, they are divided into red, green, blue, orange, yellow, indigo and violet (and other names). Just as various musical sounds contain the tones of the basic scale (often combinations of tones, e.g. chords), all visible light is made up of its seven spectral color components and all music is made up of 7 basic notes. We call them A,B,C,D,E,F and G.

The Bible tells us that light and sound are linked at the creation and science proves this. Just as God gave us seven spectrum in light He gave us seven tones on the musical scale. God spoke creation as the commands of His voice resonated.

The Bible also tells us that in the beginning Jesus was the word of God and yet He became a man. This is the ultimate description of E=MC2 where Einstein’s famous equation of relativity leads us toward an understanding of the eternal nature of our Creator. The NOVA series, The Elegant Universe from PBS describes how E=MC2 and modern string theory teaches us about resonance and the universe:

“According to string theory, absolutely everything in the universe — all of the particles that make up matter and forces — is comprised of tiny vibrating fundamental strings. Moreover, every one of these strings is identical. The only difference between one string and another, whether it’s a heavy particle that is part of an atom or a massless particle that carries light, is its resonant pattern, or how it vibrates.”

“What determines the type of particle is the movement of the string and the energy associated with this movement. According to Einstein’s famous equation E=MC2, energy and mass are equivalent — that is, the more energy something contains, the more mass it has, and vice versa. In string theory, this equivalence accounts for the different masses of different particles: a lower-energy string is lighter (less massive) than a higher-energy string.

String theory also accounts for the characteristics of massless particles that carry forces. The carriers of electromagnetic radiation, gravity, and the strong and weak forces—photons, gravitons, gluons, and the weak gauge bosons, respectively—interact with other particles based on their resonant vibrational patterns.” NOVA

Perhaps without ever realizing it Einstein’s relativistic symmetries of space and time described by his E=MC2 special relativity space-time formula describes the greatest mystery of the Bible. The mystery of how God who is an unseen Spirit could become a man, how God and and the son are one, and how Jesus could be resurrected. Einstein taught Mass=Energy equivalence. The three part formula where E is energy, M is mass, and C is the speed of light squared. The fact that after resurrection, Jesus was able to physically appeared in the closed room with the disciples (Mark 16:14; Luke 24:33-37 and John 20:19) without the walls impeding Him is also explained by E=MC2 because as God He can engage E=MC2 which also provides that whenever any type of energy is removed from a system, the mass associated with the energy is also removed, and the system loses mass. But it is important to note that that no net mass or energy is really lost in this change state. Mass/energy simply moves from one place to another.

Long before Einstein, in 1704, Sir Isaac Newton published his book “Opticks”. When it was republished in 1717 he stated that light particles and matter particles were inter-convertible in “Query 30”, he wrote:

“Are not the gross bodies and light convertible into one another, and may not bodies receive much of their activity from the particles of light which enter their composition?”

Newton also showed us another mystery, that not only can a three sided triangular prism separate a beam of sunlight into the seven colors, the frequencies of the rainbow, but also that when a second prism is used it brings the different colors together again and pure white light is once more obtained.

Job 24:13 tells us: They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.

Remember, the colors in the visible wavelengths only consist of three primary colors: blue, green and red.

All colors of light are brought forth by these three. Amazingly, our eye contains three kinds of light-sensitive cells, each sensing a different band of colors – one band centered in the red, one in the green and one in the blue.

Consider in a similar way, that blue represents the spiritual heavenly realm of The Father, the green represents His bodily earthly life as Messiah, and the red represents Messiah Yeshua’s suffering, death and resurrection into new life.

Blue is seen throughout Scripture as a tie to “doing” God’s word. We see this in His instruction to wear the fringe, the tassels described in Numbers 15:38-39. Like a sting around our finger, the blue string of the tassel (tzitzit) is used by God as a simple physical reminder for us to show God that we love Him by walking in His teaching, following His eternal instruction for life.

Three is the number of the harvest day of Passover, the day called First Fruits, a symbol of His resurrection. In creation, on the third day God created fruit – the harvest of food for life on earth. He created grass, the seed bearing herb’s and He created the fruit bearing trees that give food and oxygen making life possible on planet Earth.

The seven spectrum of light can be seen as integrated with the creation and design of our solar system. The Menorah, like the spectrum of light is a shadow picture of the visible solar system. We can “see” seven planets and the 3rd planet is the only one capable of sustaining life on it, it is our Earth.

In a like manner, the Bible gives us the appointed “third” feast known as First Fruits, it is an impression that represents the white light of our Savior’s resurrected life. It is the day of Messiah’s resurrection.

In fact, any color which we see, including brown, olive-green and all others are absent in the rainbow spectrum> They are an impression as our brain conveys these colors combining light wave signals from the three primary color bands.

James Clerk Maxwell, the great Scottish physicist who it just so happens to have given the basic equations of electricity, (the man that predicted electromagnetic waves) taught that two kinds of color exist, depending on whether it was perceived by an instrument or by the human eye: 1) “Spectral color, ” i.e. the three true colors of the rainbow and their seven spectral wavelengths as seen in the rainbow are 2) “Perceived color” by the human brain which mixes and changes true color.

These two color types are two literal witnesses where truth is declared. Two witnesses are always required by Torah(see Deuteronomy 19:15).

Today, we know that light is composed of photons which “display” two properties, those of a 1) wave and some of the properties of a 2) particle. Electromagnetic energy at a particular wavelength ? (in a vacuum) has two properties and an associated frequency h and photon energy E.

Many people may not recognize Maxwell’s name today, but along with Newton and Einstein, he is one of the three greatest minds in modern science. According to the Maxwell Foundation:

“Maxwell made fundamental contributions to the development of thermodynamics. He was also a founder of the kinetic theory of gases. This theory provided the new subject of statistical physics, linking thermodynamics and mechanics, and is still widely used as a model for rarefied gases and plasmas.

Maxwell’s many interests included color.

He analyzed the phenomenon of colour perception, which led him to invent the trichromatic process.

Using red, green and blue filters, he produced the first color photography – of a Scottish tartan ribbon. This process was the forerunner of today’s modern color photography.

Color wheel | Tartan ribbon
In circa 1855, Maxwell made a color disc (shown adjacent), the testing design of James Forbes idea that based on Thomas Young’s wave theory of light that one could make any color (perceptual to the eye) by mixing colors; namely by taking a disc marked with pie chart like colored sectors and spinning it fast. [4]

In 1861, Maxwell directed the undertaking of the world’s first color photograph, namely that of a tartan ribbon (shown), constructed by having photographer Thomas Sutton photograph the ribbon on black-and-white film three times, first with a red, then green, then blue color filter over the lens: the three black-and-white images were developed and then projected onto a screen with three different projectors, each equipped with the corresponding red, green, or blue color filter used to take its image; when brought into alignment, the three images (a black-and-red image, a black-and-green image and a black-and-blue image) formed a full color image, thus demonstrating the principles of additive color.

Calculating the speed of electromagnetic waves, Maxwell postulated that light is a form of electromagnetic radiation exerting pressure and carrying momentum. This provided the basis for Einstein’s work on relativity from which the relationship between energy, mass and velocity contributed to the theory underlying the development of atomic energy.”

Maxwell also demonstrated that electric and magnetic fields travel through space in the form of waves, and at the constant speed of light. Maxwell showed that light was a vibration in the electromagnetic field, and that it traveled at a constant speed, the speed of light. he stated: “We can scarcely avoid the conclusion that light consists in the transverse undulations of the same medium which is the cause of electric and magnetic phenomena.” In his 1864 paper “A dynamical theory of the electromagnetic field”, Maxwell wrote, “The agreement of the results seems to show that light and magnetism are affections of the same substance, and that light is an electromagnetic disturbance propagated through the field according to electromagnetic laws”.

Maxwell’s equations demonstrate that the three fields of electricity, magnetism and light are all manifestations of the same phenomenon, namely the electromagnetic field.

Maxwell’s two color types are an important feature of the witness of light:

Zechariah 4:11-14 tell us: Then answered I, and said unto him, What [are] these two olive trees upon the right [side] of the candlestick (seven light menorah) and upon the left [side] thereof? And I answered again, and said unto him, What [be these] two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden [oil] out of themselves? And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these [be]? And I said, No, my lord. Then said he, These [are] the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

It just so happens, the word light occurs 272 times in Scripture.

Light travels at the same speed, the constant speed of light is unchanging and eternal, it never stops traveling and and Einstein proved the speed of light is constant in an absolute space-time frame. Just as God exists outside the laws of time and space, time as we know it does not exist at the speed of light. The speed of light in a vacuum is defined to be approximately 186,282.397 miles per second, or 670,616,629.4 miles per hour. This value is also known as Einstein’s constant.

Like God, anything traveling at the speed of light does not change, it has no mass. The Physics Department at Boston University explains: “Einstein won the Nobel Prize for Physics not for his work on relativity, but for explaining the photoelectric effect. He proposed that light is made up of packets of energy called photons. Photons have no mass, but they have momentum and they have an energy…”

The theory on the right is just to see if your paying attention.

Light is frozen in time, this all goes back to Einstein’s theory of relativity, even back to a psalm of Moses, to the prophet Malachi and it is verified by the apostle Peter.

Time is relative to the observer. As an object accelerates, time slows down relative to that object. Time and speed come together at – you guessed it – the speed of light. This is to say that a person riding a beam of light would be frozen in time – relative to everyone else, he could travel for several million years without aging a single second. To himself (since, relative to himself, he will always be stationary) time appears normal – it’s just that the rest of the universe seems to be aging infinitely quickly!

Psa 90:1  A Prayer of Moses, the man of God. O Jehovah, You have been our dwelling-place in all generations. 2  Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting You are God. 3  You turn man to dust, and say, Return, sons of men. 4  For a thousand years in Your sight are as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

Malachi 3:6 For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Daniel 2:22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what [is] in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.

James 1:17-18 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Philippians 2:15-16 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Matthew 4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

Matthew 6:22-23 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great [is] that darkness!

Matthew 10:27 What I tell you in darkness, [that] speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, [that] preach ye upon the housetops.

Accept the challenge today to move from inactive passivity and ignorance of His Word, to accomplish and do all that you’re purposed to pursue. Don’t allow yourself to continue to be submissive to the teaching of men and their outside influences. Instead let the declaration of your mouth and your action confirm the covenant of our God who is responsive to and responsible for His Word.

Psalms 97:10-12 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Psalms 104:1-2 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Who coverest [thyself] with light as [with] a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

Genesis 1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: [he made] the stars also. Psalms 104:19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.

Psalms 136:7-9 To him that made great lights: for his mercy [endureth] for ever: The sun to rule by day: for his mercy [endureth] for ever: The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.

Proverbs 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law (Torah) is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life.

Believers are destined by God to be a light unto the nations and the Menorah is a wonderful and beautiful symbol of His light.

So what is Light?

According to the U.S. Department of energy there are several ways to think of light: “The classical description says light is an electro-magnetic wave. This means that it is a varying electric and magnetic field, which spreads out or propagates from one place to another. The modern quantum mechanical description says that light can also be considered to be particles called photons. These carry energy and momentum but have no mass. In both descriptions, the light energy is carried by a very real and observable mechanism. But it is not a physical substance.”

Radio waves are light. The U.S. government regulates the use of the radio wave spectrum for communication through the Office of Spectrum Management (OSM). The OSM’s listed radio frequency spectrum can be found here: http://www.ntia.doc.gov/osmhome/allochrt.pdf

Unseen light is of a wavelength that our eyes can not perceive. Does that remind you of anything? God is light, yet He is unseen.

In the classical theory, light consists of an oscillating electric field and a magnetic field. Because light (electromagnetic wave) consists of electric and magnetic fields, when meeting such a charged particle as an electron, it exerts a force on the particle and there occurs an interaction between them. Very interesting, light exists but it is not a substance. Once again, sounds just like the spirit of God – – huh?

Light has no mass yet moves like a wave, much like sound yet it is comprised of quanta particles and it exerts force yet it operates outside of the realm of natural and physical laws as time ceases at the smallest quantum level. The mystery of the particle-wave duality has been resolved with quantum mechanics. Quantum mechanics successfully describes the invisible sub-atomic and atomic world and it is the most fundamental theory to govern the microscopic world as well. Light’s particle-wave duality is the very thing that can make it possible to explain the structure of atoms; not only the stability of atoms but also the atomic spectra characteristic to individual atoms. Light’s electromagnetic energy is what holds quanta particles together, therefore quantum mechanics tells us that no matter can exist without light and all matter exists of invisible particles. Quantum entanglement is a property the quantum mechanical state of particles in which particles are linked together so that they are all reliant on their counterpart irrespective of the distance and space between the particles.

Any question as to why God created light before He created the sun, the stars or the earth?

No.

Modern quantum mechanics and string theory proves the Bible and the Genesis creation story. Some Biblical explanations include:

Genesis 1:2-3 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Habakkuk 3:4 And [his] brightness was as the light; he had horns [coming] out of his hand: and there [was] the hiding of his power.

Colossians 1:16-17 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

According to the Rabbi’s of the middle ages – The Light of God’s Glory is linked to Messiah.

The Jewish sages also see another reference to the Messiah in the creation account found in Genesis 1:3, the first quotation from God in the Torah, “Let there be light.” The sages understood this too to be a Messianic allusion, and so the Jewish Midrash known as Pesikhta Rabbah asks:

“Whose is this light which falls upon the congregation of the Lord?” and answers,”It is the light of the Messiah.”

Finnish Pastor Risto Santala developed this thought even further. He observed that the Aramaic word for “light” is the word “nehorah” and that it is “one of the secret names of the Messiah”. The evidence he cited from the rabbis is that both Daniel and Isaiah use “light” in connection with the Messiah. Santala noted that the rabbis use Isaiah 60:1–3 in reference to the Messiah. Here Messiah is seen as “a light to the Gentiles”. Thus, Santala refers to the Midrash as it comments on the words of Daniel chapter 2: “And Nehorah dwells with him”. This is the Messiah King, for it is written: “Arise, shine, for your light has come”. (Isaiah 60:1)

All this leads us to perhaps the greatest prophecy of His light, His glory:

“But [as] truly [as] I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of The LORD.” Numbers 14:21

Remember, this about light. Many of the things in the physical, natural world parallel the spiritual and intertwine with it. Consider the numerous diseases like rickets that ravage the human body when it is deprived of life giving light. A study from the University of Maine explains that teenage girls are not getting enough vitamin D. As a result, they are at risk for disorders and diseases caused by the nutritional deficiency of low light absorption, including osteoporosis and possibly even cancer and high blood pressure. The cause? A lack of Vitamin D3 from exposure to sunlight.

So don’t continue living in the shade or in darkness, don’t live outside God’s teaching and instruction, if you do it will eventually mean death. Walk in the light of life, God’s unchanging Word. The key to understanding God’s light is to understand God gives us His teaching and instruction for living because He loves us. He never changes His mind and He teaches us some very simple guidelines about how we are to live. It’s the original message of the Deceiver to fall for the idea that God does not mean what He says or that He changes His mind. Don’t listen to that message any longer. To walk in His light we must “do” His word.

What does this all mean?

It means that it is now time for you to repent and return to God’s covenant. Return to hear and do His word and walk in the faith of His Kingdom path so that you can ready your lamp for your coming assignment. God is a sovereign God. He is a loving God and He has provided a way to offer you His “light” of salvation through Jesus, Messiah Yeshua. You can accept His gift of life. Consider carefully what your life consists of, look at it and repent of your sin, ask His forgiveness and accept His gift of love through Yeshua of Nazareth. Do it now! Follow Him.

Update May 20, 2014: Thought you’d want to see this…

Scientists discover how to turn light into matter after 80-year quest

“Imperial physicists have discovered how to create matter from light – a feat thought impossible when the idea was first theorised 80 years ago.

In just one day over several cups of coffee in a tiny office in Imperial’s Blackett Physics Laboratory, three physicists worked out a relatively simple way to physically prove a theory first devised by scientists Breit and Wheeler in 1934.

Breit and Wheeler suggested that it should be possible to turn light into matter by smashing together only two particles of light (photons), to create an electron and a positron – the simplest method of turning light into matter ever predicted. The calculation was found to be theoretically sound but Breit and Wheeler said that they never expected anybody to physically demonstrate their prediction. It has never been observed in the laboratory and past experiments to test it have required the addition of massive high-energy particles.

The new research, published in Nature Photonics, shows for the first time how Breit and Wheeler’s theory could be proven in practice. This ‘photon-photon collider’, which would convert light directly into matter using technology that is already available, would be a new type of high-energy physics experiment. This experiment would recreate a process that was important in the first 100 seconds of the universe and that is also seen in gamma ray bursts, which are the biggest explosions in the universe and one of physics’ greatest unsolved mysteries.”

Shalom
