Blessings and Curses-Counting the Cost

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Update on our Garden

At the end of all our News Letters is a comment section that you can share your thoughts. Please do write to us and let us know what you think of that News Letter and how it inspired you or not. Thanks.

Last week I wrote you and explained the success I am having in my garden and I shared with you pictures of our grapes. I had noticed that some had developed a mold. This week I went out to removed the molded grapes and discovered that clearly, 50% of all my grapes had this mold on it. By the time I had removed the branches with the mold I had completely stripped half my plants.

I did not try to figure out what pesticide I needed or how to add nutrients to the soil. No the first thing I did was to check my soul to see what sin I have committed. Then I remembered that last year in the Sabbatical year of rest, despite my warnings not to, my wife had harvested the grapes and brought them into the house. I did not eat them and they ended up rotting in the fridge.

I was very upset with my wife for doing this to me. And it was not much fun around our house for that week when this took place.

I brought my wife out to show her the grapes and just how extensive this mold was. When she asked why this was only happening to this vine and not the other and then to the next on but then not to the one next to it, I told her why.

I said because she harvested the grapes in the Sabbatical year that this year we have lost 50% of the grapes. She just looked at me saying nothing but looking as though I had just fallen off the loonie truck. She is 50% of all I am involved in and I am also the same with her. So half our grapes are diseased and half are looking very good. Go figure.

Looking for Help

Each of you has job to do in what ever languages you are able to speak. I am not able to bear this work alone. Some of you have stepped forward and help with donations. This has helped us to be able to help James go to Burundi and assist Telesphore to teach many Bishops and Pastors in Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya and the Congo. We also have others coming along in Ivory Coast and we hope in Zambia.

We are also watching Brother Aike at MLTC in Manila and Bro Leo in Ilocos North in the Philippines teach and we are seeing many congregations coming to now keep the Torah and leaving the Sunday Churches in whole groups. We are blessed to be able to help these men do this work there.

Let me share with you the most recent letter from Bro Aike.

shalom brother Joseph,

Hope you’re fine as well as your entire family circle.
As to your concern re books. I still have 8 pcs Sabbatical 2016 and 3 pcs 2300 days of hell book. I will be sharing these books to Dr. Aileen Padel , she is a physician a wife of Ptr Padel who attends our Torah teachings each Tuesday with a group of about 12 pastors from Cavite Area. Yes these couple have been in the ministry for decades. They wanted to start a bible school. Now that we have met, we are talking about starting a mini bible school. They will provide the building, rooms etc. We help provide the curriculum. How you can help? For sure the Prophecy Department Torah based teachings will be under your guidance. I remember your friend who recommended your book to be nominated on Nobel Peace Prize Professor Leibenberg of www. HRTI.za.

Maybe in the future you and him and MLTC can talk about starting a mini Yeshiva Bible School in Manila using His curriculum?

Chance of me going to Israel this Sukkot 2017. Last Sukkot 2006 my trip to Israel, my new passport was released 5 days before the trip and the funds came just in time. Last Sukkot 2010 I sold my car 10 days before the trip so I can financed my trip to Israel , I also was able to bring my wife Florence in the trip. So I need no less than a miracle to go for Sukkot this October 2017. That’s why I’m selling my small farm property to gather funds. I’m very low on funds now, its below negative. I having a hard time even maintaining the caretaker of the said farm. I’m helping my sick Dad who is on medication.

Good thing is ministry seems very active these days. More and more believers pastors and christians are attending our bible studies in different place. Ministry opportunities are cropping up. I just came from a ministry trip this weekend Sabbath till Sunday , I was in the Laguna area, supporting the Torah Ministries there. Last sunday morning, I was a guest speaker in a Messianic Radio Program in Lipa City Batangas 30 kilometers south of Manila. It was good, there were many callers. I believed, I can host a torah radio program , there is a radio station just 1 kilometer near MLTC in Mandaluyong city. Pray with us that funds will be available for this. Your the only foreigner who supports MLTC. I hope you can tell others about the growing ministry here in the Philippines so other foreigners can help. I dont get any financial support other than the donation from MLTC which barely pay the bills for rental and electricity . My gasoline expenses alone for travelling to different places is around $50 each week. Earning decent money is not easy here. Only by the grace and goodness of YHVH that needs are being provided. Thanks to YHVH for your help.
The future plan for a radio program which is very realistic would cost about $75 for a 1 hour air time in a local radio program. A two month trial once a week would be good.
Anyway, thats just a conviction that I got lately when I guested on the radio program. On Aug. 9 in the morning I will be speaking
in Quezon city Ministerial fellowship in front of several bishops and pastors. I will be talking about the Torah and the 7 feasts as a holiday in the Philippines, I will impart the vision to them. This is a great opportunity the host bishop is a friend of mine that I led to torah years ago. His name is Bishop attorney Noy Makatangay.
Please contact your friend from HRTI maybe we can talk of starting a mini bible school here, for the short term and in the long term. This would add more credibility to the ministry that we already have started and maintained for the past several years.

yours truly in the Messiah Yeshua

brother aike aizon
MLTC

I have not edited out the hardships Bro Aike is facing trying to do this work. I want you to know the sacrifice he is making to further this message in the Philippines.

There are many who write and promise to do this and that to further this message, but nothing gets done or they want to go it alone to develop a name for themselves and their efforts fade away. But none of these want to assist us nor work with us. It is amazing that Bro Aike and I are able to work together. Neither is trying to take over the other ministry. We just want to help and encourage each other.

When we do find someone like we recently did in Tokyo, they decide they are not interested in hearing our message because we use the name Yehovah, or we keep the sightedmoon and not the conjunction. Or that we are not teaching the Talmud. They find reasons not to want to learn more about Yehovah and His way.

For a number of years, we have been seeking people who speak Chinese. Although we have found some in the past who do like our teachings and follow them, they have not been willing to step up to the challenge and the work that is involved in reaching out to this massive group of people here on this earth.

Even in North America, we have many that come and want to help only to fade away after they begin to help. Working the social media and strategizing with me and writing letters to groups or leaders is a lot of work that many are not able to sustain. And I am not able to hold their hands for every step along the way.

We are told in Mark 16:15-18

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

And again in Mat 28:18-20 Yehshua said;

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Sightedmoon.com has been doing this very thing through the web site and reaching people around the world. Countries and nations I had no idea even existed. To our surprise, the Philippines has grown to be our top readership nation followed by the USA and then Canada and then South Africa.

We have a school of pastors being set up in Manila and another large group in Burundi. The one in Burundi is connected to the university. Both of these we are seeking to send more books but the cost is in the thousands. There are some who take our work and run with it and others who just take it for head knowledge and do nothing with it. And too many are taking the “lets wait and see” attitude, which will result in them being too late.

This past Sabbath I saw Michael Rood speaking to Paul Hsieh about the work they are doing in Asia. I also know Keith Johnson and Nehemiah Gordon are doing work in Shanghai China but to what degree I do not know. You are not allowed to teach religion in China so what is done is done underground. I love what these three brothers are doing, but they do not teach the brethren to keep the Sabbatical years other than in the land of Israel. And because of this those who do not keep the next Sabbatical year in 2023 will not be blessed like many of you are now being blessed for keeping the Sabbath, Holy Days and Sabbatical year last year in 2016-2017.

So, who are the Chinese and why should we seek opportunities to teach them about the next Sabbatical year in 2023 and the prophecies they reveal to us?

We can read the following

Kittim

Kittim, Chittim, or Akita (Hebrew: ????, Kitt?m; “bruisers”) was a son of son of::Javan and brother of brother of::Elishah, brother of::Tarshish, and brother of::Dodanim according to Genesis 10:4 .

The peoples of Kittim are the descendants of Kitt or Khet (Kittim is plural). Josephus says that Cyprus was called Kition (??????) by the Greeks. It’s inhabitants were called Kitieis and Kittoæans.[1][2] In his Antiquities of the Jews, he states:

“Cethimus possessed the island Cethima: it is now called Cyprus; and from that it is that all islands, and the greatest part of the sea-coasts, are named Cethim by the Hebrews: and one city there is in Cyprus that has been able to preserve its denomination; it has been called Citius by those who use the language of the Greeks, and has not, by the use of that dialect, escaped the name of Cethim.[3]”

The Romans knew the city of Kition as Citium in Latin, which is the present-day city of Larnaca on the west coast of Cyprus. On this basis, the whole island became known as “Kittim” in Hebrew. However the name seems to have been employed with some flexibility in Hebrew literature. It was often applied to all the Aegean islands.[4] The expression “isles of Kittim,” found in the Jeremiah 2:10 and Ezekiel 27:6 , indicates that, some centuries prior to Josephus, this designation had already become a general descriptor for the Mediterranean islands. Sometimes this designation was further extended to apply to Romans, Macedonians or Seleucid Greeks due to the fact that they dwelt in the lands once inhabited by Kittim. The Septuagint translates the occurrence of “Kittim” in the Daniel 11:30 as ??????? (“Romans”). 1 Maccabees 1:1 states that “Alexander the son of Philip the Macedonian” had come from the “land of Kittim.”

The Egyptians called them Kheto and the Greeks ?????, Ketei. The Phoenicians named them Kt or Kty. One branch still lives in Cyprus. Many of them lived in Asia Minor and were associated with the sons of Heth (Hattians) and the Indo-European Hittites(Nesites). At least three or four peoples were known as Hittites in the Middle East in pre-Christian times.[5] Thus the confusion between the Hittites (also called Catti) and the Khittites (also called Chittim).[6]

Professor Sayce reveals that certain people known as “Hittites” had a yellow skin tone.[7] The Egyptian monuments show at least two types of Hittites. One with a yellow skin, high cheek-bones, oblique eyes and pigtail hair.[8] The other looked somewhat like the earliest Greeks who were Indo-European.[9] The famous Arthur Koestler mentions that the early Hittites were dark-skinned (that is, in comparison to their Indo-European invaders) and probably of the Mongoloid branch of mankind.[10] John Beddoe writes similarly in his book The Anthropological History of Europe.[11] One possible reason for Kittim being called Khitti or Hittites is because they descend from Jap-heth.

These particular Hittites wore upturned shoes, high boots, peaked caps and hair worn in pig-tails,[12][13] like the Mongoloid peoples of eastern Asia.[14] So where would you guess is Kittim is today?

While China was called Shinas anciently (the Romans called it Seres Sinenses) derived from Tsins or Tsina by those approaching from the south,[15] it was called Cathay or Khitay by those approaching from the north[16] after the people living there. The Russians called the land and people ????? (Khitai) and the Romans named it Cathay, applying it to the whole country. The Arabs even called the Chinese arrows Alkhatai.[17]

The peoples of Manchuria and northeastern China, then, are descendants of Kittim. The Chinese of northeast are tall and fairly dolicocephalic; while the average Chinese descended from Magog are shorter, slightly darker, and brachycephalic. Those in the deep south are very dark and related to the Southeast Asians.[18] The Japanese are related to this northeastern stock through Javan, their forefather.[19] Some in the south mixed with Australoids in ancient times. These Khitan (Chinese: ??, Qìd?n; Persian: ???, Khitan) in Manchuria, ruled northern China and Mongolia from Manchuria. They established the famous Liao dynasty (907-1125 AD). Of further interest is that a tribe called the Khata dwelt in western China[20] and a nomad tribe of Mongols was known as the Kara-Khitan (Mongolian: ??? ?????, Kara Kitad).[21][22]

In Prophecy
In the Book of Daniel, in the 11th chapter, we find an account of Antiochus Epiphanes IV, a type of the Beast, being attacked by Roman ships from Chittim or Cyprus in 168 BC (Daniel 11:30 ). But prophecy is dual—what has occurred in the past, will yet again occur in the future. Today Kittim is in China, and this prophecy, being dual, refers to them:

“And the ships of Kittim [China] shall come upon him: and he [the Beast] shall be struck, and shall return, and shall have indignation against the holy covenant …” — Daniel 11:30
“And tidings out of the east, and out of the north [Russia] shall trouble him: and he [the Beast] shall come with a great multitude to destroy and slay many.” — Daniel 11:44
A little known prophecy in the Book of Numbers has a similar message:

“And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber.” — Numbers 24:24

Brethren we are asking you to do some work. We are asking you to translate our articles into any of the Asian languages that you are familiar with. We are asking you to write to those Messianic groups across Asia and for you to contact them and tell them about the Sabbatical years and what this means. We are asking you to do the work of contacting them and introducing them to us. Take this good news into all the world. Will you help us to do this?

Last week I had supper here in Canada with Claude Marceau, whose wife had translated our Book Remembering the Sabbatical year of 2016 into Portuguese for the Brazilian people. We have had many starts to translate this book into a number of languages but to date, only Portuguese and French are done. In the past, some used to translate each news letter and send it to their family in their native language.

But what about England and Australia? Our presence there is very sad when you compare them to other nations whose language is not English. Brethren I am going to stand before Yehovah and say I have done the best I could with the little I had. Will you be able to say the same?

We get many queries from India whom large parts of the population are descended from Naphtalie. When I wrote to this one group in Urdu they were very impressed. All I used was Google translate. You could do the same, but will you?

We have less than 7 years for the rest of the world to learn about and keep the Next Sabbatical year in 2023. Israel, all 12 tribes are now being judged. Next, the rest of the world will be judged. How many of them will you be able to teach and save?

We need help! We need financial help. We need people to translate and we need people to search for and write to groups and leaders of nations explaining about the Sabbatical and Jubilee message contained in the 2016 book and the 2300 book. We also need those who come along side to endure with us until the end and not be short lived splashes of water.

As I go to post this News Letter we have word from Bro Ceylon (not his real name) in  Sri Lanka, a Buddhist country in which you cannot convert anyone or you are put in jail. The Philippines and Burundi are Christian nations. So this one is going to be harder and more challenging. We hope to also reach into India at the same time al via radio.

We could sure use your prayers and encouragement as we now take on this third country to assist and help them in doing this work.

The latest reports from Burundi

Since I have no access except for the odd text message that manages to get out amongst all these hills and mountains, I will have to complete each days report and send it all off at once when I get back to the city.

Today was unique. I have my first cold in Burundi, nothing serious but still my first and it’s taking all my strength with it. It is also the first real time that I have traveled outside to any great distance, the city of Bujumbura. Last time I was here in the fall I spent the entire time within the city limits traveling around to the different churches. Today we traveled 160+ miles into the center of Burundi. In order to get out of the city, you must travel up the mountains that surround the city. It was amazing and such a stark contract in air quality, smell, and also everything went from dirty brown to a lush tropical green forest with banana trees, bamboo forests, and larch areas of flat plains where much of Burundi’s food is grown.

Everywhere along the road and at different intervals, we came to small villages as we made our way up the mountain. To be honest the higher we went the more I could see myself living in these conditions. I am not interested in the city life but up on the mountain where the water flows down from the top, the trees are lush and plenty and the air is so fresh. The best part is that the temperature changes and when you get to the top they tell me that it gets cold in the evening and just warm during the day, no humidity or intense heat like the city. So beautiful.

I am still amazed at the resolve of these people. Many people do not own vehicles especially up in the mountains and that only leaves scooters or bikes. The bikes could and many times do double for trucks that carry everything from product, wood, charcoal, steel, couches, beds, you name it and they use their bikes to transport it. No kidding I really did see a guy peddling a bike with a full-size couch on it today I just did not have time to click a picture. When they have a distance to go they grab hold of anyone of the big trucks passing through and hold on till they get to their destination. Many times I saw a gas transport with 5 guys on bikes holding on sometimes one guy would hold onto the guy in front. Crazy. It’s illegal but no one seems to care.

I am told that Burundi I the sister country to Israel and it is also called the country of 1001 hills. Truly they are not kidding. It took us over three long hours to make it to our destination, a small church on the side of a valley looking down onto some of the planting fields. Apparently, this is planting season for them so many of the fields are just now being prepared and cleaned for the crops. After stopping in at the church and saying hello, we journeyed a bit further until we came to a Roman Catholic monastery. I am told if you wish to become a missionary in Burundi this is the place where you come for training. It takes three months for all the training and in that time you are taught Kirundi the native tongue, and I am sure that there is also some other stuff in there that has to do with praying to Mary and such.

Our rooms were a very simple bed, desk to study, toilet and a bucket to wash in. Showers don’t work. We will be having dinner tonight at 8 pm where everyone gathers in the dining hall to eat together. I assume after that we all retire to our rooms to bed for the night. Tomorrow I return to the church and teach for the first of three sessions, two Friday and one on Sabbath.

Friday Morning

Ok well after breakfast, we headed over to the church. At first again not many people showed up, but within 30 minutes the place was full and they were sitting on the grass outside listening in on this strange white man and what he had to say.  I started out this session and once again my plans changed once I opened my mouth which was fine with me at least I know who is in charge. We covered material about The Festivals, Kosher, Sabbatical Years, Calendar, Obedience to YHVH and what that means and much more. We started at 9 and went till 12:30 and then had lunch and started up again. I did not, in this case, do all the teaching. To be honest it goes faster for everyone if the other pastors teach and I listen because they do not need to be translated. Not only that they get to practice the material that they have been taught.

I can’t say this enough, that these people are so ready to be taught that the few questions that they asked at the end were mostly for clarity. When they all left they shook my hand and I have been told that their lives are now changing. We spoke on Sabbath right before the end to make sure as the Sabbath was only a couple of hours away to make sure they understood. Everyone left and I hope determined to make this first Sabbath done right according to the word and now they understand the Torah and what it says.

Unfortunately, my cold is still hanging on and my voice not so good. So after lunch, I went back to the Monastery and put in more time studying preparing myself for tomorrow when I am to teach once again. At this point, my goal is not to hog the pulpit but let the teachers including Telesphore, the picture above, teach on the material he is learning as well. My only problem is that I cannot tell if they have it right or not so I just leave it up to YHVH. You will notice that the women and children sit on one side of the building and the men sit on the other side. But there was this tiny little boy who came in through the front door beside where I was teaching and just sat there. No once moved him and he just sat there while I taught. I managed to get an image of him before he went back outside. They have so little, it is hard not to be moved by the kids when you see them.

Today after listening to a new teaching by Eric Bissell I wrote up some of his material in my own words and will use it tomorrow to teach the Bishop and other pastors. Once I complete this teaching, we shall rest for the night before heading back to Bujumbura on Sunday morning. Not really looking forward to the pollution again, but they have been burning the fields around us so all I smell is the burning fields. Still, it will be good to get back for a day of rest. Much more to accomplish and complete before this trip is over.

Sabbath Morning

For this morning Sabbath meeting, we had people walk for miles to support their new pastor. So in this small mud church, they squished more than 200 people inside. The morning session lasted close to three hours and no one wanted to leave. We were teaching about the Feasts as more are coming up, then went into teaching about the Sabbatical year and how it is going to affect Burundi until they get it right. I don’t know what the third pastor taught on because I do not speak Swahili. It was truly enjoyable to see so many people come out and when we left they filled the truck with fresh produce, potatoes, a live chicken, bananas, passion fruit. There is so much growing around here that you can stop almost anywhere on the road and find something to eat.

After that meeting, we headed back to the monastery to pack up our things and head back. I guess cause I was getting worse instead of better cold wise, Telesphore felt it better that we get back in case I needed to go to the hospital. All I really need is something to break up all the phlegm in my throat and I will be fine. Of course, it could be that all the fires burning around and the smoke might have had something to do with it as well, I don’t know. I am writing this back in the city now, as I just got in and wanted to get this out before I forgot anything. The drive, for the most part, was uneventful as I watched the different landscapes of rolling hills covered with fields of wheat, vegetables, bananas, sugar cane, fruit trees, I mean they got it all here. They even grow their own coffee which isn’t half bad. But I am glad to be back as the trip just wiped me out and I need to get some sleep.

Tuesday I will be speaking at Telesphore’s own home to a group of University students who have been listening in on material that I have been teaching and they apparently have some questions. SO until Tuesday, I get to recover and get rested up because next weekend we are heading about 100 miles south this time for a few days before coming back to the city. So for now, I want to say thanks and good bye to everyone who is helping affect change in Africa and bring the Torah to people who have always been taught it is of no relevance.

Update July 24, 2017

Tomorrow I am teaching about 40-50 people at Telesphore’s place. Then all these people are going to take this message everywhere in all schools and districts around the country as trainers.

I have also been informed that we are also going to meet with the President before I leave. He has already looked at the first material I wrote, not this new stuff, but was very impressed and I have been informed like the Prime Minister, he will support this mission to get Burundi out from under the curses. Of course, there is still much to do before that. After this weekend, I will have 4 more speaking engagements not including the President, before I head back home.

Update July 26, 2017

Joe first off mentioned to Telesphore about finances and he will do up a report for you on Monday once we return from this trip.

Next thanks for the prayers. Right up to the time when I stood up I had no idea what to speak on despite asking YHVH for help during the afternoon. When I got up before the I started and then I spoke on YHVH’s Treasure. It the first lesson in the updated book I sent you. It actually came from a new teaching from Eric, I just put it into my own words, well, in this case, His words. It lasted about two hours and did we have fun with it. By the time I incorporated into it many other things as the rabbit trails go, and they loved it so much that I am heading back there next Wednesday to teach them again. They want me to just stay period and continue to teach them. A lot of fun I have to admit after such a low day sitting around staring out over the balcony at the street and all the people and traffic. It always amazes me that no one gets killed because it like the road is the sidewalk and everybody has the right of way. All you need to do to get through is honk the loudest and longest and you’re through the crowds. It’s something you have to see to believe, and the roundabouts are even worse.  Well so much for the traffic report.

I did not manage to get any images today but thankfully I am going back and I suspect there will be a bigger crowd next time to get images of this group. The pastor after I sat down got up and went through pretty much everything I spoke on again, he gets it all, and then stood there thanking me over and over again. Good session today.

Tomorrow at 10 I head down south for the weekend and should return sometime on Sunday. I will be speaking at 3 different places so continue to pray for me that YHVH continues to open my eyes and ears for His Message.

Shalom

The Moon was not seen Monday Evening July 24 from Israel. This means that the 4th month is then declared a 30 day month. This makes Tuesday evening and Wednesday day the 1st day of the 5th Month.

Blessings and Curses

With this News letter, we are just days away from the anniversary of the 9th of Av which is Tuesday or Wednesday, August 1 or 2nd depending on the calendar you are using. Now that the moon was not sighted then the 9th of Av for us will be on Thursday. July 27, 2017.

What happened on the Ninth of Av?

The 9th of Av, Tisha b’Av, commemorates a list of catastrophes so severe it’s clearly a day set aside by G?d for suffering.

Picture this: The year is 1377 BCE. The Israelites are in the desert, recently having experienced the miraculous Exodus, and are now poised to enter the Promised Land. But first they dispatch a reconnaissance mission to assist in formulating a prudent battle strategy. The spies return on the eighth day of Av and report that the land is unconquerable. That night, the 9th of Av, the people cry. They insist that they’d rather go back.  G?d is highly displeased by this public demonstration of distrust in His power, and consequently that generation of Israelites never enters the Holy Land. Only their children have that privilege, after wandering in the desert for  40 years from this date.

The First Temple was also destroyed on the 9th of Av (586 BCE). Six centuries later (in 70 CE), as the Romans drew closer to the Second Temple, ready to torch it, the Jews were shocked to realize that their Second Temple was destroyed the same day as the first.

When the Jews rebelled against Roman rule, they believed that their leader, Simon bar Kochba, would fulfill their messianic longings. But their hopes were cruelly dashed in 133 CE as the Jewish rebels were brutally butchered in the final battle at Betar. The date of the massacre? Of course—the 9th of Av!

One year after their conquest of Betar, the Romans plowed over the Temple Mount, our nation’s holiest site.

The Jews were expelled from England in 1290 CE on, you guessed it, Tisha b’Av. In 1492, the Golden Age of Spain came to a close when Queen Isabella and her husband Ferdinand ordered that the Jews be banished from the land. The edict of expulsion was signed on March 31, 1492, and the Jews were given exactly four months to put their affairs in order and leave the country. The Hebrew date on which no Jew was allowed any longer to remain in the land where he had enjoyed welcome and prosperity? Oh, by now you know it—the 9th of Av.

Ready for just one more? World War II and the Holocaust, historians conclude, was actually the long drawn-out conclusion of World War I that began in 1914. And yes, amazingly enough, Germany declared war on Russia, effectively catapulting the First World War into motion, on the 9th of Av, Tisha b’Av.

What do you make of all this? Jews see this as another confirmation of the deeply held conviction that history isn’t haphazard; events – even terrible ones – are part of a Divine plan and have spiritual meaning. The message of time is that everything has a rational purpose, even though we don’t understand it.

Is this not the very things we have been telling you since 2005. The “Blessings and Curses” come repeatedly in a certain order throughout history. People see one event and never connect it to another event although they are most definitely connected.

Each of us gets to choose whether or not we will receive the blessings or the curses. We do so as individuals and as nations.

Here in Canada our Newly elected Prime Minister Trudeau has taken part in the Toronto Gay Pride event making history in 2016. He then followed that by marching in the Vancouver Pride parade again in 2016 and this year it is Halifax this past weekend.

Above in the 2016 Toronto Pride Parade Trudeau is flanked by Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynn, an openly lesbian Premier. After Toronto, The Prime Minister then marched in the LGBTQ Parade in Vancouver BC. Again making history.

Now in 2017, The Prime Minister has gone from Coast to Coast in support of Pride Parades. The next picture in Halifax.

This then prompted the meme from my own Federal representative asking the question.

Trudeau won 40% of the popular vote to gain 54% of the seats in Parliament. His major contribution to our society thus far is the legalization of Marijuana in Canada. He has also signed Canada into the Paris Treaty on Climate Change. This is the treaty the world has signed up for which states that Human Rights are important in order to effect climate change. And in those human rights is the 2011 amendment stating that the LGBTQ rights are now covered under the Human Rights, which means that the LGBTQ rights are covered by the Climate Change Treaty known as the Paris Treaty.

Prime Minister Trudeau also apologized to convicted terrorist Omar Khadar and awarded him 10.5 Million after Khadar he was found guilty of killing a US medic in Afghanistan and serving time in Guantanamo Bay. But not only did our Prime Minister do this he also protected those funds from any law suits that might be launched against Khadar by the widow of the murdered medic.

So, are these events a blessing to Canadians or are they the curse for not obeying Yehovah? Many cities and mayors think that having the LGBTQ Pride Parade brings in lots and lots of dollars to the community. The lust of the flesh that burns inside of them, the lust for financial gains that they seek is a falsity. They may take in millions in revenue but the cost is in the trillions in lost homes and resources and the resources spent to combat the forest fires that seem to come right after the LGBTQ parades.

This is the Ashcroft fire in BC. It is but one of over 716 that have been raging across the province this year.

This is the Loon Lake fire.

More than 3,600 square kilometers of land in B.C. have been scorched by 716 fires since April 1. About 44,000 British Columbians have been registered as evacuees as one of the worst wildfire seasons in B.C.’s history continues. I do not have the number of homes that have been destroyed, but there are many people who are coming home to a burnt out memory.

Maybe these are the blessings for doing things our own way?

They say that the sign of insanity is to keep doing the same things over and over and to then expect a different result. Hmmm, time to rethink the things we are doing in Canada.

Here in Canada, we have been blessed to have been the recipients of the blessings given to Abraham. We did not earn them. We did not deserve them. Yehovah made a promise to Abraham in a covenant in Gen 15. Those blessings were then passed on to Isaac and then to Jacob and then to Joseph and to Manasseh and Ephraim. The United Kingdom and the USA are the descendants of these two men and the title Israel belongs to them. They have had the wealth of the world and became great in the world and what have we done with it.

We remove God from everything we do; all our buildings and our national anthems and we remove prayers from our schools. We celebrate our depravity and condemn those who condemn this new lack of morality.

Across North America and Canada, it is hard to find groups of people who are keeping Torah.

Have you considered what Jeremiah is saying?

Jeremiah 3:11-15 The Lord said also to me in the days of Josiah the king: “Have you seen what backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and under every green tree, and there played the harlot. And I said, after she had done all these things, ‘Return to Me.’ But she did not return. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it. Then I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but went and played the harlot also. So it came to pass, through her casual harlotry, that she defiled the land and committed adultery with stones and trees. And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not turned to Me with her whole heart, but in pretense,” says the Lord.
Then the Lord said to me, “Backsliding Israel has shown herself more righteous than treacherous Judah. Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say:
‘Return, backsliding Israel,’ says the Lord;
‘I will not cause My anger to fall on you.
For I am merciful,’ says the Lord;
‘I will not remain angry forever.
Only acknowledge your iniquity,
That you have transgressed against the Lord your God,
And have scattered your charms
To alien deities under every green tree,
And you have not obeyed My voice,’ says the Lord.
“Return, O backsliding children,” says the Lord; “for I am married to you. I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion. And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Oh yes, even Tel Aviv has there Pride Parades. They ignore what has happened to Israel and do the very same things.

Then this past week we read about the riots on the Temple Mount. How two Israeli Guards were stabbed to death and then the Temple Mount closed down and metal detectors added. Riots in the Silwan and on it goes and then in Samaria a family sitting down for their Sabbath meal when a terrorist invaded their home and start stabbing them, killing three and wounding a fourth. The Israeli Embassy in Jordan had shots fired in front of it.

But does no one see how one event causes or brings on the next?

There were Pride Parades in June at Split,  Croatia. This was followed in July by the following fires.

In California, they too held their LGBTQ Pride parades in the month of June. Now in July thousand are reported to be fleeing their homes due to the wildfire racing across that state.

Do you still think you can sin with impunity and not face the music for those sins now?

Nice is on the French Riviera and they held an LGBT Pride Parade.

This was then followed by the wild fires on the French Riviera in which 15,000 had to flee.

Portugal also embraced the Pride Parade only there it is called ILGA.

This was then followed this week by wild fires in Madeira.

So, one from a city and two from a family are chosen. Few there are across what was once a great nation who keep the Torah. You can do this comparison for any of the 12 Israelite nations and see how they have bought into the Paris Treaty and now embrace the LGBTQ rights over the rights of Christians and Jews. The same people embracing this left liberal idealism are also the ones welcoming into their societies the Islamic faith. I apologize for the next picture but then again I do not.

Read the what the sign behind this woman says. Queers against Islamaphobia. And it is led by topless women. I am very sure Yehovah is sending Islam to cleanse our society of this evil. Islam is the white horse of Revelation and they lead the red horse of war which then brings disease and death. We are in the 4th Sabbatical cycle of war.

Rev 6:1-17 Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.” And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.
Second Seal: Conflict on Earth
When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and see.” Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.
Third Seal: Scarcity on Earth
When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”
Fourth Seal: Widespread Death on Earth
When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.
Fifth Seal: The Cry of the Martyrs
When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.
Sixth Seal: Cosmic Disturbances
I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

If you go to this link you will see all the Terrorist attacks since the 1970s and you will note they are all performed by Islamic Jihadist.

Let me insert here the video we did on Baal Peor and if have not watched it to please take 30 minutes and watch it and share it with those you love.

But what do we find around the world?

Let me now contrast this wealth and prosperity that the West has enjoyed and how they mistreat it and revel in immorality and compare it to two nations I have had the pleasure to teach.

First is Burundi.

Here is a news item from 2014.

BUJUMBURA, Burundi — 10,395,931 people. 68 percent – 7,069,233 – live below the poverty line. One in 15 adults suffers from HIV/AIDS. Only 2.5 percent – 259,898 – make it to the age of 55. Less than two percent of the population has electricity in their homes.

These numbers paint a dismal picture of life in resource-poor Burundi, a landlocked country in Southeast Africa bordered by Rwanda, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

With a predominately agricultural economy, the country’s source of income lies in exports of coffee and tea. These two items account for 90 percent of Burundi’s foreign exchange earnings. Due to this percentage, the majority of the country’s population is affected by weather issues, food insecurity and limited access to land. Other factors include civil war and the recent flooding in Bujumbura that caused 3,000 people to lose their homes.

According to the 2013 Global Hunger Index, hunger in Burundi is among the highest in the world, along with Comoros and Eritrea. Chronic malnutrition affects 58 percent of children under the age of 5 in Burundi.

Being one of the poorest countries in the world is not helping to fight hunger. Four out of every five people live on less than US $1.25 per day, making it hard to feed a family. In fact, 70 percent of income goes to food, which doesn’t leave much for healthcare or other necessities.

And here is another article about the history of Burundi from 2015.

Today the U.N. Human Rights Chief warned that Burundi is “at a bursting point, on the very cusp of civil war.”

Since April, more than 220,000 people have fled ongoing violence in the Central African nation. Even before fighting escalated earlier this year, WFP delivered lifesaving food assistance and agricultural support to communities still recovering from what one U.N. official called the country’s “deeply troubled, dark and horrendously violent past.”

So how critical is the situation? Here’s what you need to know:

Burundi has been plagued by ongoing civil war for the past 15 years. Burundi’s first democratically elected president was assassinated in October of 1993 after only 100 days in office, triggering widespread ethnic violence. More than 200,000 Burundians perished during the conflict that spanned almost a dozen years.

Less than one-third of Burundi’s population has enough food to eat throughout the year. As a result, nearly 60% of Burundi’s population is chronically malnourished.

Agriculture is the backbone of Burundi’s economy. 90% of families in Burundi are subsistence farmers who rely on farming to meet their food and income needs.

Even during harvest season when food is most plentiful, households spend up to two-thirds of their income on food. Burundi is one of the ‘red zone’ countries identified by WFP as being among the most affected by soaring food prices. This is mainly the result of inadequate domestic food production. In fact, last year Burundi faced a food production deficit of over 32%.

Burundi is one of the poorest countries in the world. Poverty is widespread: 90–95 percent of the population living on less than $2 per day.

It’s also the most population-dense country in Africa. There is an average of 248 people per square mile and the population is growing rapidly at nearly 3% each year. This reduces the amount of farming land available for food production.

Like much of Central Africa, Burundi is prone to natural disasters such as floods, hailstorms, drought and torrential rain. In recent years, the country has registered an unusually high number of natural disasters, which have contributed to the displacement of communities, the destruction of homes, the disruption of livelihoods and the further deterioration of food and nutrition security.

WFP has been working in Burundi since 1968. WFP is currently supporting more than 800,000 of Burundi’s most vulnerable families through the rehabilitation of children suffering from malnutrition, the provision of school meals, food assistance to victims of natural disasters, and the empowerment of communities to improve food production.

More than 220,000 refugees have fled Burundi due to the recent violence. WFP is providing food and nutrition assistance to the refugees who have fled to Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. To support families on the move, High Energy Biscuits are provided along the way. Refugees also receive hot meals in transit centers. Once a family has settled in either a camp or host community, WFP distributes rations including maize, beans, oil, salt, and Super Cereal.

And to this article we add the following from 2016.

NAIROBI (Reuters) – Some 600,000 people are short of food in Burundi due to drought and flooding in the past year and the number could rise to 700,000 by next year, a World Food Programme official said.

Most of those affected are in five provinces in the north and east of the central African country where around 65,000 people are reported to have fled their villages.

It adds to the challenges experienced by the country of 11 million people that has been in a political crisis and witnessed sporadic violence for more than a year.

The crisis was sparked by President Pierre Nkurunziza’s decision to run for a third term in office, which he secured in a disputed election in July 2015.

“The situation is alarming in the north of the country except that we cannot technically talk of famine … we speak of situation with high food insecurity; what is called ‘red phase’ but not famine,” Charles Vincent, WFP Burundi country representative, told Reuters late on Monday.

Vincent made the comments after a visit to affected areas by officials from WFP, Food and Agriculture Organization, U.N. children’s agency UNICEF and the government between November 1 and 3.

Between September 2015 and May, Burundi suffered flooding caused by El Nino, and thereafter experienced drought due to La Nina.

“Currently WFP is carrying out a general distribution to about 13,000 families (about 65,000 people); a distribution which is currently taking place in response to the situation. Is it sufficient? No,” Vincent said.

The U.N. Refugee agency UNHCR said in September that since then some 300,000 people had fled the political crisis and the violence to neighbouring countries, mostly to Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

We have here a nation that has suffered the plagues of war and famine and disease. Ebola just broke out in 2017 in the Congo and Yellow Fever along with Malaria and Turberculousous are ongoing concerns.

In 2015 James sent Bishop Telesphore our book about the Sabbatical year of 2016 and in it, it explains about the Sabbath and Holy Days as well. The Bishop reads the book and sees the errors of what he was taught and been teaching.

He invited James and I there in 2015 but we could not afford it. Instead, we went to the Philippines.

The Bishop then goes out and begins to teach this to his pastors and fellow Bishops in the Congo and Rwanda Tanzania as well as Burundi. The pastors learn and then the Bishops realize they have been lied to and that they have taught lies. They repent and can see the curses they have endured as the reason for the lies they have been keeping.

They see the curses. They know the curses from first-hand experience and do not want to have them anymore. whole groups and whole congregations are now keeping the Sabbath and learning about the Holy Days and Sabbatical year. They hear these new truths and then read them in the Bible and see that truth and repent.

James went to them in 2016 before Sukkot. And he is there again as I write. James is treated like a super star. Everyone wants to meet him and he was even invited to the Prime Ministers private chambers to discuss these things. And as I write there might also be a meeting with the President.

The people of Burundi have suffered for a long time. They have not been part of the blessings given to Abraham just because of DNA. But now by the Grace of Yehovah, as they obey they are then one in Yehshua.

Exodus 12:48-29 And when a stranger dwells with you and wants to keep the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as a native of the land. For no uncircumcised person shall eat it. One law shall be for the native-born and for the stranger who dwells among you.”

John 1: 14-16 I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.

John 17:20-23 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

1 Cor 12:12-25 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many.
If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the body be?
But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.

Ephesians 2:11-22 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands— that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Contrast also the Philippines and how they are reacting to these truths as compared to the Western nations. The Philippines have cyclone after cyclone and many have died. They have had droughts and earthquakes and many wars that have come into their lands. They have had the curse of Lev 26 for many many years. In fact, they are now dealing with an ISIS group in Mindanao.

They have been a predominantly Catholic Christian nation for a very long time and yet the blessings of Lev 26 seemingly avoid them. What is the sign of insanity I asked them? To keep doing the same thing and expecting it to turn out different.

Brother Aike sees the truth in the message I brought to the MLTC group in 2015. He shares it with other groups and with Christian groups and they, in turn, are now repenting and keeping the Torah. Again here are whole groups of people repenting but in the west, only one or two are doing so.

Being from the west myself it very sad to see and watch and to have to tell those of you in the west.

The Philippines make up the largest readership group to my web site.

Both Burundi and the Philippines are very poor nations yet they are doing the greatest works right now. The richest nations in the world are not doing anything when you compare them one to the other. Just as it is exciting to see in these two nations it is also very depressing to see in my Western nations.

Mat 25:14-30 The Parable of the Talents
“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
“So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
“Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’
“But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.
‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

The unprofitable servant, in this case, is the Western Nations who are not doing anything to speak of.

Having now shown you all of this, I want you to read carefully and slowly this prophecy from Isaiah 66:14-21

When you see this, your heart shall rejoice,
And your bones shall flourish like grass;
The hand of the Lord shall be known to His servants,
And His indignation to His enemies.
For behold, the Lord will come with fire
And with His chariots, like a whirlwind,
To render His anger with fury,
And His rebuke with flames of fire.
For by fire and by His sword

Note we are in the 4th Sabbatical cycle of the sword of Lev 26 and Daniel 9 warns us that this sword is to utterly destroy all 12 tribes of Israel in the middle of this current Jubilee cycle.

The Lord will judge all flesh;
And the slain of the Lord shall be many.
“Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves,
To go to the gardens
After an idol in the midst,
Eating swine’s flesh and the abomination and the mouse,
Shall be consumed together,” says the Lord.
“For I know their works and their thoughts. It shall be that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come and see My glory. I will set a sign among them; and those among them who escape I will send to the nations: to Tarshish and Pul and Lud, who draw the bow, and Tubal and Javan, to the coastlands afar off who have not heard My fame nor seen My glory. And they shall declare My glory among the Gentiles. Then they shall bring all your brethren for an offering to the Lord out of all nations, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem,” says the Lord, “as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord. And I will also take some of them for priests and Levites,” says the Lord.

Do you see where Yehovah is going to send the survivors? Tarshish and Pul and Lud, who draw the bow, and Tubal and Javan. Look at these nations and learn who they are today. Then consider the nations we are having the most success in. Where should we be investing in order to prepare for the prophesied future?

Again I ask you. When will your tolerance become intolerable? Is the cost to our societies in riots and turmoil and wild fires and the loss of so many homes and jobs worth the income that is generated by these Pride parades? If your not sure then read Isaiah 66 again.

You can read about the recent devastating fire in the town of Knysna, South Africa as well. The whole town had to evacuate. Eye witnesses called it a scene of apocalyptic proportion.
